<v Speaker 1>This is WWE Superstar Drew mcinto and you're listening to
<v Speaker 1>the WWE podcast show.
<v Speaker 2>The one that Everybody Wants Me sixteen. So just well,
<v Speaker 2>your ass is mind, you can acknowledge me what is
<v Speaker 2>going on everybody, and welcome to another main event review.
<v Speaker 2>Thank you very much for tuning into this week's episode.
<v Speaker 2>We're coming off the back of Night of Champions, which
<v Speaker 2>we reviewed last week, and back to normal proceedings with
<v Speaker 2>the two main event matches and also the events that
<v Speaker 2>transpired on Raw as well. This recording was a little
<v Speaker 2>bit different normally in the main events for those that
<v Speaker 2>do know or don't know, we're recorded the night before
<v Speaker 2>the next coming Monday Night Raw, but this time it
<v Speaker 2>was recorded in Saudi Arabia on SmackDown before before the
<v Speaker 2>SmackDown show there. It seems as though that they forgot
<v Speaker 2>to bring the main event banners because there was SmackDown
<v Speaker 2>across the ring when when they were in Saudi Arabia,
<v Speaker 2>So the two matches will have SmackDown banners all around.
<v Speaker 2>But yeah, this was filmed before before before SmackDown, so
<v Speaker 2>that's probably why that was the case. But yeah, a
<v Speaker 2>few things to get through there or else. Everything else
<v Speaker 2>was pretty much the same as what main event normally
<v Speaker 2>is anyway. So we do get off and kick away
<v Speaker 2>with the first match, and that was the Guarda delphan
<v Speaker 2>Tasma taking on Thraxium, the Gardadel delf Phantasma. I keep
<v Speaker 2>getting the name always mixed up when I say it
<v Speaker 2>gets the victory here Angel and Burda, which was a
<v Speaker 2>bit of a surprise to me given that Thraxium have
<v Speaker 2>started off on fire and we're pretty much close to
<v Speaker 2>getting a World Tag Team Championship on SmackDown and now
<v Speaker 2>they're losing on main event. I guess probably the main
<v Speaker 2>reason why that's the case is because the Gata del
<v Speaker 2>Fantasma are the Triple A Tag Team Champions and if
<v Speaker 2>you guys have the chance to watch that match, it
<v Speaker 2>was a really good match. I ended up actually watching
<v Speaker 2>it on Triple A and they won the title. Then,
<v Speaker 2>given that they have the partnership with each other, obviously
<v Speaker 2>they're able to bring those belts to WWE, which they
<v Speaker 2>have done. So I guess this is them just flexing
<v Speaker 2>their muscles, giving them that kind of momentum and to
<v Speaker 2>defend that belt, but also to sort of flex that
<v Speaker 2>out on a main show as well, and I guess
<v Speaker 2>if thracks and beat them, then they'd be contenders for
<v Speaker 2>that championship too, and it just overcomplicate things. But this
<v Speaker 2>is just a standard match. I think nothing that will
<v Speaker 2>change the storyline there. Obviously, the tag team division has
<v Speaker 2>ramped up in SmackDown, especially now with the integration of
<v Speaker 2>the Yat six two. They're looking to get their nose
<v Speaker 2>involved in tag team business. And I always say this
<v Speaker 2>SmackDown's doing a really good job at the tag team
<v Speaker 2>division and how it's been structured, but rules really lacking behind,
<v Speaker 2>So it might there might need to be a bit
<v Speaker 2>of a kind of shift in getting these tag teams
<v Speaker 2>on rules as well, hopefully. But Thraxium and are new
<v Speaker 2>and they're coming off NXT. They started hot and they're
<v Speaker 2>sort of slowing down at the moment, But I don't
<v Speaker 2>think it will really affect anything there. The tag team
<v Speaker 2>division will remain competitive and Fraction will be involved in
<v Speaker 2>that as well, and Legarda de van Delf Fantasma will
<v Speaker 2>continue to stay as there are. There was a bit
<v Speaker 2>of teasers that Berdo could potentially leave. They were sort
<v Speaker 2>of teasing that with Santran Siscoba, they weren't really getting
<v Speaker 2>along and he sort of was trying to get convinced
<v Speaker 2>but from Monreido. So I'm not really sure what happened there,
<v Speaker 2>because all of a sudden they're looking stronger than ever
<v Speaker 2>with the Triple A belts. But maybe something that they
<v Speaker 2>will probably revisit, because I did sort of of suspect
<v Speaker 2>that Berda could potentially be a babyface with Andreida and
<v Speaker 2>form a new tag team, but they sort of ditch
<v Speaker 2>that for now. So yeah, we'll have to wait and
<v Speaker 2>see how that goes. But again, those two win the match,
<v Speaker 2>and as mentioned, they'll probably get some more momentum going
<v Speaker 2>forward there. We then move on to Raw, where we
<v Speaker 2>have Gantha entering the ring to run a promo basically
<v Speaker 2>saying that Goldberg is a fifty eight year old man
<v Speaker 2>that wants to write out his career. Gantha said that
<v Speaker 2>it won't happen because Goldberg is not capable of taking
<v Speaker 2>the world title from him. He said that he's capable
<v Speaker 2>of beating Goldberg in under three minutes, but his goal
<v Speaker 2>was to take him his time, blow him up, outclass him,
<v Speaker 2>and embarrass him in front of everyone that is near
<v Speaker 2>and dear to him. He also mentions that that Goldberg
<v Speaker 2>doesn't like bullies, but basically said that he is the
<v Speaker 2>biggest bully around, so then mentioned that he'll bully him
<v Speaker 2>and eat him like a piece of crap. Then he
<v Speaker 2>basically said there's nothing old worker do about it. Gunthah
<v Speaker 2>then said if people would wonder if he still has it,
<v Speaker 2>but Gantha would expose him, and Ganthah then said after
<v Speaker 2>he wins, he'll be the one to ask who's next.
<v Speaker 2>And as he said that, about three or four times,
<v Speaker 2>Seth Rolins makes his way into the ring with his
<v Speaker 2>money in the bank briefcase that Paul Hayman was holding.
<v Speaker 2>It was funny because as soon as Seth Rollins and
<v Speaker 2>Paul Hayman came into the ring, Guanta basically said that
<v Speaker 2>they seemed happy for going all the way to Saudi
<v Speaker 2>Arabia and achieving nothing, which yeah, was pretty hilarious. He
<v Speaker 2>said that. Then actually Rolands said that they haven't seen
<v Speaker 2>Ganthera since he regained the world heavyweight title and explained
<v Speaker 2>that Knight of Champions wasn't to cash in the money
<v Speaker 2>in the bank, it was to stop seeing Punk from
<v Speaker 2>becoming world champion, and that's when they were seeing Punk
<v Speaker 2>chants Seth Rollins did congratulate guntherhah, and as he was
<v Speaker 2>about to probably say that he's going to cash in
<v Speaker 2>on him, eventually Seampunk comes in and just starts attacking
<v Speaker 2>Seth Rowlins, and Seth Rollins then escapes the ring, and
<v Speaker 2>as he does escape the ring, La Knight is behind
<v Speaker 2>him and ends up attacking him as well. And while
<v Speaker 2>that's happening in the ring, Gunthera bumps into Sampunk and
<v Speaker 2>hooked his arm, and then Sampunk pushed him onto the
<v Speaker 2>ground and they kind of had a stare off there.
<v Speaker 2>But the main thing here was the two things that
<v Speaker 2>actually happened, obviously Seampunk and Seth Rolins, which I suspect
<v Speaker 2>that they're going to get at it at Summer Slam
<v Speaker 2>once again. Those two can't seem to get away from
<v Speaker 2>each other. But l A Knight attacking Seth Rollins and
<v Speaker 2>setting himself up a match at Saturday Night's main event
<v Speaker 2>will be something extremely interesting. I think since La Knight
<v Speaker 2>has dropped the belt, or even while he's had the belt,
<v Speaker 2>he hasn't really had any important storylines, and I think
<v Speaker 2>this one's massive for him. He's really getting himself involved
<v Speaker 2>in big picture here, taking on Seth Rowlins, which which
<v Speaker 2>is what I like to see, but I don't think
<v Speaker 2>he's going to win the match unfortunately at Saturday Night's
<v Speaker 2>main events, so this is probably just going to be
<v Speaker 2>a one off thing and it will lead to see
<v Speaker 2>him punkin and Seth Rollins, and I guess Seth Rowlans
<v Speaker 2>continues to flex his muscles. I did say he was
<v Speaker 2>going to go for the WWE Championship, but you never
<v Speaker 2>know now with what Seth Rowlins is doing, obviously teasing Gunther,
<v Speaker 2>teasing John Cena, teasing Cody Rhodes. Essentially, it can go anywhere,
<v Speaker 2>and that's what I like about this. But we're really
<v Speaker 2>not accounting for for brand splits at the moment because
<v Speaker 2>there's no brand split anymore with these storylines, like Seth
<v Speaker 2>Rowlins is getting involved with people on SmackDown and he's
<v Speaker 2>obviously trying to cash in as well, and he's on
<v Speaker 2>Monday Night Raw, so it doesn't really make too much sense.
<v Speaker 2>I do like the idea of All a Night potentially
<v Speaker 2>moving to RAW. I think that could be something that
<v Speaker 2>would really elevate. He's made for a show like Monday
<v Speaker 2>Night Rule. I feel like it suits him more as well,
<v Speaker 2>and definitely an opportunity to fight for a title that's
<v Speaker 2>not I guess overlooked by or like over inflated by
<v Speaker 2>John Cedar, Cody Rhodes and now Ran Tord and Drew
<v Speaker 2>McIntyre too on that side, since what's been happening on SmackDown,
<v Speaker 2>So maybe going for World Heavyweight Championship, taking on Guntha,
<v Speaker 2>having a program with him, or if Seth Rollins Cash
<v Speaker 2>is in for that title, then having a program. I
<v Speaker 2>think he's in better spot for that for that, then
<v Speaker 2>then on on SmackDown at the moment, because I think
<v Speaker 2>l A. Knight has the capabilities of being a world champion,
<v Speaker 2>it's just right now, the talent is so heavy that
<v Speaker 2>he hasn't had his opportunity, and I feel like eventually
<v Speaker 2>he will. The fact that he's really good on the
<v Speaker 2>mic and fans really like him is something that I
<v Speaker 2>think we'll see in the future, But for now, I
<v Speaker 2>think he's just going to hype up this match, but
<v Speaker 2>most likely he'll he'll probably lose there. We then stay
<v Speaker 2>on Raw and we have Real Ripley coming into the
<v Speaker 2>ring as well. She essentially mentions that she's put away
<v Speaker 2>the judgment day for good and she basically wanted to
<v Speaker 2>say what's next for her since Evolution is around the corner.
<v Speaker 2>That's when es Guy makes her entrance into the into
<v Speaker 2>the ring. She said that she can't have Evolution without Sky.
<v Speaker 2>She mentions that she is not on top. Ripley is
<v Speaker 2>not on top as Skuy's the world women's World champion.
<v Speaker 2>She already also mentioned that she spoke to Adam Pierce
<v Speaker 2>and told her that she could pick who she wants
<v Speaker 2>to defend the world title against that Evolution and s
<v Speaker 2>Guy chooses obviously rear Ripley. Ripley says that she has
<v Speaker 2>a lot of respect for er Guy, but if that's
<v Speaker 2>what she wants, she will stop at nothing to get
<v Speaker 2>that title back, and whatever happens at Evolution, this is
<v Speaker 2>what er Guy wanted as well. So this sort of
<v Speaker 2>sets up the match at Evolution between the two. So
<v Speaker 2>es this Guy finally has a match and is finally
<v Speaker 2>going to defend the title. She hasn't done that since
<v Speaker 2>WrestleMania and they haven't been able to find anything for
<v Speaker 2>her unfortunately, So that's why I guess real Ripley is
<v Speaker 2>going back into the fold. But they do get another
<v Speaker 2>chance at fighting each other. One on one and gives
<v Speaker 2>Real Ripley the opportunity to win the title here. I
<v Speaker 2>don't think she will, but we'll have to see what
<v Speaker 2>happens there. I'm really excited for Evolution as well. I
<v Speaker 2>really like the idea of a women's or women's pay
<v Speaker 2>per view. I think it's going to have a lot
<v Speaker 2>of really significant matches, and I think this will be
<v Speaker 2>one of them. This might lead up to what will
<v Speaker 2>happen at SummerSlam, obviously, as guy will defend the title
<v Speaker 2>at SummerSlam, you'd like to think. So there's no real
<v Speaker 2>storyline for her or new storyline on New Food at
<v Speaker 2>the moment, so we may see this kind of amp
<v Speaker 2>up or I don't know, maybe a return or something.
<v Speaker 2>But the fact that this match is that Evolution with
<v Speaker 2>some slam around the corner is going to tell where
<v Speaker 2>the direction of this title will be post that, So
<v Speaker 2>we'll look out for that Food for sure. We then
<v Speaker 2>get the second match of main event between Beefab and
<v Speaker 2>Roxanne Perez. Obviously, being in Saudi Arabia, they have to
<v Speaker 2>fully clothe themselves, and I already gave my sort of
<v Speaker 2>take on that we had Roxane Perez getting the victory here,
<v Speaker 2>So that's twice Beefab has lost to NXT NXT Elevated
<v Speaker 2>Stars those are NXC this year, so two rookies. Will say,
<v Speaker 2>for lack of a better term, but this time roxan
<v Speaker 2>Perez rolling up and putting her legs on the second
<v Speaker 2>rope to get the victory here, so sort of cheating
<v Speaker 2>her way there, but great victory. Nevertheless, again Beefab is
<v Speaker 2>not really doing much as a single star, and maybe
<v Speaker 2>she might be injected into that tag team match given
<v Speaker 2>that she is a SmackDown superstar with Michin, but highly
<v Speaker 2>doubt it. We might just see her in the Women's
<v Speaker 2>Battle Royal. But Roxanne gets the victory here, giving her
<v Speaker 2>I guess, momentum going into holding those team championships with
<v Speaker 2>Roccala Rodriguez, which is what we're gonna see. But then
<v Speaker 2>we also have Charlotte Flair and Alexiblitt involved in that too,
<v Speaker 2>and I want to sort of talk about that because
<v Speaker 2>I like the idea of it. I like the idea
<v Speaker 2>that they don't necessarily have to be friends. But we're
<v Speaker 2>seeing two sort of single stars, massive single stars come
<v Speaker 2>together and form it a tag team, and that's something
<v Speaker 2>that I've been wanting to see in the men's division
<v Speaker 2>for a very long time, and I'm sort of glad
<v Speaker 2>they're doing it in the women's division with those two
<v Speaker 2>superstars as well. Those two deserve to be up there. Obviously,
<v Speaker 2>people have their opinions and thoughts on Charlotte Flair, but
<v Speaker 2>she has a legend, she has done a lot of
<v Speaker 2>things for the company, so her being involved and if
<v Speaker 2>she's still an active superstar, needs to be involved in
<v Speaker 2>titles and needs to be involved in something significant. And
<v Speaker 2>I think that those two are going for the titles
<v Speaker 2>elevates the women's tag team division and also improves it
<v Speaker 2>as well. And that's why sometimes I find that it's
<v Speaker 2>really important to have sort of single superstars formerst tag teams,
<v Speaker 2>not for a long time, not for something that's long term,
<v Speaker 2>but at least something that can kind of elevate the
<v Speaker 2>titles when the titles are sort of dying out. And
<v Speaker 2>that's what I noticed with tag teams divisions is that
<v Speaker 2>sometimes the titles and kind of the feuds do sort
<v Speaker 2>of fade out. So that's why it's good to have
<v Speaker 2>single superstars kind of partner up together. And in this aspect,
<v Speaker 2>it's going to be Charlotte Flair and Alexiblitz, which is
<v Speaker 2>something really exciting, but again that doesn't really do much
<v Speaker 2>for what we're talking about in this match. But again,
<v Speaker 2>they're going to be fighting Roxane Verz is going to
<v Speaker 2>be fighting these two and she'll need that and this
<v Speaker 2>will obviously motivate her there and they will give her
<v Speaker 2>a lift for that match to going forward. We then
<v Speaker 2>had the main event match between bron Breaker and Bronson
<v Speaker 2>Reid and taking on Penta and sami Zain. We had
<v Speaker 2>bron Breaker spearing Zayne to get the pin here, and
<v Speaker 2>I don't think that's going to damage Samuzain too much.
<v Speaker 2>Obviously she he took the pin, but given that he
<v Speaker 2>got attacked by carrying a cross before kind of makes
<v Speaker 2>his feel as though that the injury kind of cost
<v Speaker 2>cost him there. But after the mattress was the interesting part.
<v Speaker 2>Penter was checking up on Samusain and then bron Breaker
<v Speaker 2>nailed Penter with the spear and Reid was about to
<v Speaker 2>go on top and hit a tsunami, but then jay
<v Speaker 2>Uso made it to the ring to save Samuseain. The
<v Speaker 2>fans went off when ja made his entrance to the
<v Speaker 2>ring and he hit Samuzain with or not Samuzain, he
<v Speaker 2>hit multiple super kicks and also Jasu threw a chair
<v Speaker 2>at Reid to knock his head out of the ring.
<v Speaker 2>He celebrated with Zaane and Pent in the ring and
<v Speaker 2>bon Breaker Bronson, Reid and put himI were down on
<v Speaker 2>the floor, and that was pretty much a flex there.
<v Speaker 2>We might see a potential six man tag if these
<v Speaker 2>three are involved to take on Rolins, read and break up.
<v Speaker 2>But maybe we might see this on Raw and not
<v Speaker 2>on any main events, or we could see jay Uso
<v Speaker 2>and Samusein in one of these PL's go up against
<v Speaker 2>them too, And now that ja Uso is out of
<v Speaker 2>the title title race, this probably makes more sense for
<v Speaker 2>him to get involved with Samuzain here and potentially those
<v Speaker 2>two could team up for kind of the time being
<v Speaker 2>and go for the World Tag Team Champions there. But again,
<v Speaker 2>a lot of there's been a lot of talking, a
<v Speaker 2>lot of buzz with Samusein potentially getting his WrestleMania moment
<v Speaker 2>next year, and I also mentioned that he is pretty
<v Speaker 2>much a favorite going into next year's role Robbell, especially
<v Speaker 2>given that it's in Saudi Arabia, and I think the
<v Speaker 2>way that it's directed is that he will main event
<v Speaker 2>WrestleMania and have his main event moment given that he's
<v Speaker 2>been a long serviceable member for ww F for so long,
<v Speaker 2>So we'll look at We'll look at that down in
<v Speaker 2>the line for sure. But again, these guys have to
<v Speaker 2>continue to fight off this massive faction on Raw and
<v Speaker 2>it gives everyone here something something to do, which is great.
<v Speaker 2>But again there's been another main event review. Next week
<v Speaker 2>I'll be reviewing Saturday night's main event along with the
<v Speaker 2>main event review. Again, these pls come out of nowhere,
<v Speaker 2>So if there is anything on Raw that sort of
<v Speaker 2>leads up to the main event, I won't review it,
<v Speaker 2>But if it's not, i'll review it obviously because we
<v Speaker 2>want to keep it as consistent as we can to
<v Speaker 2>the main event. But I hope you guys understand given
<v Speaker 2>that there is only two matches and there isn't really
<v Speaker 2>much storyline to talk about in these main event matches,
<v Speaker 2>only things where I can kind of predict what can
<v Speaker 2>happen based on those matches onto the main rosters, and
<v Speaker 2>then also talk about what they're sort of doing on
<v Speaker 2>the main roster as well. I would love for main event.
<v Speaker 2>I wish they could do it to sort of be
<v Speaker 2>a show where those that can't get on SmackDown and
<v Speaker 2>Rawle have their feuds and have their issues. Then maybe
<v Speaker 2>we can implement one of the mid card titles to
<v Speaker 2>be challenged on that show here and there. But that's
<v Speaker 2>just me asking, maybe for too much. But again it's
<v Speaker 2>been your your boy Daniel and another main event review.
<v Speaker 2>Thank you very much for tuning in and I'll catch
<v Speaker 2>you guys next week.
