<v Speaker 1>Everybody. Welcome to the Monday Night Raw Review. It's Tuesday,
<v Speaker 1>October twenty ninth, twenty twenty four. Hope everybody's enjoying the
<v Speaker 1>beginning of the week here on this last few days,
<v Speaker 1>these last few days of October, heading into this weekend
<v Speaker 1>and then obviously big week next week, Election week. But
<v Speaker 1>more importantly for wrestling fans, this week end is Crown
<v Speaker 1>Jewel and we all get to finally discover who is
<v Speaker 1>going to be the Crown Jewel Champion. I know a
<v Speaker 1>lot of us are on the edge of our seats.
<v Speaker 1>We just can't wait to find out who WWA annoints
<v Speaker 1>is Crown Jewel Champion. We've been thinking about this for years, pontificating, hoping,
<v Speaker 1>praying that we get some kind of championship for the
<v Speaker 1>ple that we all love and that we know, Crown Jewel,
<v Speaker 1>and we finally have it, so our prayers have been answered.
<v Speaker 1>This prestigious championship with the length of lineage that it has,
<v Speaker 1>the depth of lineage, it's here. Can't wait. I know
<v Speaker 1>you all are excited too. But we'll have the official
<v Speaker 1>preview and predictions later this week with all of our
<v Speaker 1>in depth coverage of course, and post review shows and
<v Speaker 1>all of that coming to you this weekend. I will
<v Speaker 1>get that to you by Sunday, maybe during the day.
<v Speaker 1>I'll try to get it out. I really do try
<v Speaker 1>to get it out as early as I can and
<v Speaker 1>get you guys my thoughts, and I want to hear
<v Speaker 1>yours too, because a lot of times I'm wrong. A
<v Speaker 1>lot of times I'm wrong and ww throws a curveball
<v Speaker 1>or some of you guys see things coming that I didn't,
<v Speaker 1>so interested to hear your predictions. Obviously, the Mailbag show
<v Speaker 1>comes to you Friday as well. So let's get into
<v Speaker 1>Monday Night Raw and a decent RAW I think one
<v Speaker 1>that didn't I always say it's a decent Raw. I
<v Speaker 1>feel like I say it's a decent Raw every week,
<v Speaker 1>but it hasn't been very volatile when it comes to
<v Speaker 1>the quality of the Raw episodes as of late. Anyway,
<v Speaker 1>I feel like things have been kind of holding steady,
<v Speaker 1>and that's not a bad thing. I think that it's
<v Speaker 1>been generally a positive coming out of every Monday Night Raw.
<v Speaker 1>I know a lot of us are looking past Crown
<v Speaker 1>Jewel going ahead to the Survivor series pl which yes
<v Speaker 1>I am. I am as well. And in a lot
<v Speaker 1>of ways. But the ple e for Crown Jewel, despite
<v Speaker 1>all of the controversy that does surround it, every single
<v Speaker 1>time that they go to Riodd, it is a card
<v Speaker 1>that is worthy of a ple e. If it wasn't
<v Speaker 1>under the Crown Jewel brand, I think we wouldn't A
<v Speaker 1>lot of us wouldn't look at this as kind of
<v Speaker 1>a you know, a pl that we want to skip.
<v Speaker 1>But most of us don't, you know, based on the numbers,
<v Speaker 1>wwe knows that even though we all a lot of
<v Speaker 1>us have issues with it, we still watch. So that's
<v Speaker 1>ultimately what matters. And we've got a lot of decent
<v Speaker 1>matchups coming up this coming Saturday night, but let's talk
<v Speaker 1>about raw. I want to start with Seth Rollins and
<v Speaker 1>Bronson Reid. You know, this program much like the much
<v Speaker 1>like the Bronze Stroman matchup with Bronson Reid that we
<v Speaker 1>didn't know we all wanted, and you noticed Bronz Stroman
<v Speaker 1>has kind of disappeared. But Bronson Reid is exceptionally fun
<v Speaker 1>to watch backstage, and the company knows this clearly because
<v Speaker 1>most of Bronson Reid's interactions over the last two months,
<v Speaker 1>most of his brawls have been outside of the squared circle.
<v Speaker 1>Watching him destroy things is a fun pastime of ours,
<v Speaker 1>and is it getting a little formulaic kind of? I mean,
<v Speaker 1>they can't live backstage forever with Bronson Reid. They eventually
<v Speaker 1>need to put him in the ring to have actual
<v Speaker 1>matches more than they put him backstage. And so it's
<v Speaker 1>not a sustainable strategy, but it's one that puts him
<v Speaker 1>on the map right now. It's one that the fans
<v Speaker 1>look at and go, all right, we have a Bronson
<v Speaker 1>Reid brawl backstage. What you know, what are they going
<v Speaker 1>to destroy tonight? And who is going to take the
<v Speaker 1>bigger bump? And I thought, particularly the moment with Seth
<v Speaker 1>Rollins and the stomp of Bronson Reed's skull onto the
<v Speaker 1>car was cool, and not just because of the stomp itself,
<v Speaker 1>which was well done and Bronson Reid continues to sell
<v Speaker 1>very well. It was more of because of Seth rolins
<v Speaker 1>declaration to the camera after the fact, saying, you guys
<v Speaker 1>have forgotten who I am and what I'm capable of,
<v Speaker 1>And it's like, okay, yeah, yeah, man, we haven't seen
<v Speaker 1>you do brutal stuff like this in a while. Because
<v Speaker 1>you've been too worried about your you know, your your
<v Speaker 1>entrance music being sung by fans and wearing ridiculous outfits
<v Speaker 1>to the ring, and we've we've kind of missed that
<v Speaker 1>part of you. And it did trigger something for me
<v Speaker 1>back to a more brutal violence seth Rawlins. But so
<v Speaker 1>that was part one. Part two that I thought was
<v Speaker 1>really cool was the camera was angled just enough where
<v Speaker 1>Bronson Reid in the distance was over the shoulder of
<v Speaker 1>Seth Rollins, and you could see him getting up and
<v Speaker 1>you're just like, oh my god, because just like anybody,
<v Speaker 1>I mean, you would think that that's kind of the
<v Speaker 1>end of the segment. Seth Rollins stands victorious, not that
<v Speaker 1>that it was in a match, but he's, you know,
<v Speaker 1>he got the better of Bronson Reid here, and you're
<v Speaker 1>just like, oh my god. Bronson reads getting up and
<v Speaker 1>he attacks Seth Rollins. They go into a production truck,
<v Speaker 1>both of them get in there, and a death valley
<v Speaker 1>driver of sorts on Seth Rollins through a bunch of
<v Speaker 1>setup tables for a nice crash pad, nice safe but
<v Speaker 1>fun fun landing. I'm not going to get on them
<v Speaker 1>for it being safe. I have no problem with Safety
<v Speaker 1>and it looked as good as a safe bumpkin look outside.
<v Speaker 1>So Bronson Reid ends up getting the better of Seth
<v Speaker 1>when you figured that was kind of the end of
<v Speaker 1>the segment after the stomp. So well done by both men.
<v Speaker 1>This is yes, a hold me over program for Seth. Yes,
<v Speaker 1>he will get to CM Punk. Do I think it's
<v Speaker 1>at Survivor Series? Maybe maybe Seth Rollinson Punk go after
<v Speaker 1>each other at Survivor Series, or they do delay it
<v Speaker 1>till WrestleMania forty one. I honestly don't have a preference.
<v Speaker 1>Usually I feel strongly about these things. I mean, if
<v Speaker 1>I had a choice, I guess I'd go as Seth
<v Speaker 1>in punkt at WrestleMania forty one because it's been such
<v Speaker 1>a build in such a long time, and you could
<v Speaker 1>make good on last year's injury to Punk, and I
<v Speaker 1>think it would be very poetic. But do we also
<v Speaker 1>have bigger opponents for Punk and Rollins at WrestleMania. I
<v Speaker 1>will say this, here's a big clue that at WrestleMania,
<v Speaker 1>WWE has bigger names in mind for Punk and Rollins
<v Speaker 1>than each other. If they face each other at Survivor Series,
<v Speaker 1>So if they end up facing each other at Survivor series.
<v Speaker 1>You know, WWE has bigger ideas in mind for both
<v Speaker 1>Punk and Seth at WrestleMania forty one. Okay, you heard
<v Speaker 1>her here first, because they're not going to do both. Okay,
<v Speaker 1>this program might be a one and done. It could be,
<v Speaker 1>but it also could be a I don't think it
<v Speaker 1>would be Drew McIntyre length, but there's some other key
<v Speaker 1>guys that when you're looking ahead to Crown Jewel that
<v Speaker 1>you're thinking to yourself, Okay, could they show up? Drew, Punk,
<v Speaker 1>what about Roman? I think all three are likely to appear,
<v Speaker 1>but I don't think all three will. And we'll talk
<v Speaker 1>about the predictions as we get later into the week
<v Speaker 1>on Friday. So anyway, let's get into the nitty gritty
<v Speaker 1>of Rod just wanted to talk about that off the
<v Speaker 1>top with something positive. Let's start at the beginning of
<v Speaker 1>the show. I like to kind of bring it back
<v Speaker 1>to some kind of order here. So we had, of
<v Speaker 1>course Joe Testator and Wade at the broadcast table, and
<v Speaker 1>they spoke about Trick Williams retaining the NXT championship at
<v Speaker 1>the NXT Halloween Havoc event, and we got some recaps
<v Speaker 1>and SmackDown where MotorCity Machine Guns beat Toma, Tong Gun
<v Speaker 1>and Tongaloa to win the tag titles and Jay Uso
<v Speaker 1>was then shown with the fans of the concourse and
<v Speaker 1>he made his way through the crowd and Jay said
<v Speaker 1>he lost his title and he had family drama. He
<v Speaker 1>said he had to retaliate and cost the Bloodline the
<v Speaker 1>tag team titles. He said there's only one person he
<v Speaker 1>wanted to speak with, and that person knows who he is.
<v Speaker 1>Jimmy Uso comes out and once in the ring, jim
<v Speaker 1>thanked Jay for what he did on SmackDown and Jimmy
<v Speaker 1>said they need to be together to take Solo's Bloodline down.
<v Speaker 1>Jimmy said they're not the only ones and Jay said
<v Speaker 1>they're They're not the only ones either or not the
<v Speaker 1>ones either. Jay said the last time he saw Jimmy
<v Speaker 1>was at WrestleMania and they were fighting each other. He
<v Speaker 1>said a lot has happened since then and noted he
<v Speaker 1>became Icy champ and Jimmy held out his hand and
<v Speaker 1>Jay said they still had to fix things. Jay said
<v Speaker 1>they do. They're nobody's do boys, side pieces or yes men.
<v Speaker 1>Jay said they are grown men and if they do this,
<v Speaker 1>they do it together as the USOS, and the USOS
<v Speaker 1>got a pretty big pop. Jimmy told Jay that Roman
<v Speaker 1>will be at Friday SmackDown and invited Jay to talk
<v Speaker 1>with jim talk with him, and Jay said he would
<v Speaker 1>be there. Jimmy held out his hand again, but he
<v Speaker 1>noticed that there was somebody coming into the ring which
<v Speaker 1>were Tomatonga and Tangaloa. And things are evenly matched up
<v Speaker 1>until we got Jacob Fatwu who was ordered by Solo
<v Speaker 1>to get into the ring, and fat Tu sets up
<v Speaker 1>for a move. Jay threw the chair at him after
<v Speaker 1>he tried to wrap it around his neck. Jimmy got
<v Speaker 1>free and the USOS did their you know, their obligatory
<v Speaker 1>seventy four superkicks per match per show and hit a
<v Speaker 1>double superkick on Jacob fa Two gets knocked out of
<v Speaker 1>the ring and Adam Pearson, a group of referees and
<v Speaker 1>security guards came out to stand between them going into
<v Speaker 1>the commercial break. So, man, Jay, you so let me
<v Speaker 1>tell you. Despite the fact that WWE I think did
<v Speaker 1>him dirty with his and it's weird saying that given
<v Speaker 1>that fact that he's he was inter Continental champion one
<v Speaker 1>of the most prestigious titles in the company. With the
<v Speaker 1>lineage that that it has. It's weird saying it, but
<v Speaker 1>his first title run I think should have meant more.
<v Speaker 1>And as I've said many times over the last week,
<v Speaker 1>it was used as a prop to get him to
<v Speaker 1>the Bloodline reunion, which I've said, it didn't need this
<v Speaker 1>to have Jay be convinced to go back. In fact,
<v Speaker 1>I think it would have made more sense and meant
<v Speaker 1>more if it didn't take a title a title loss
<v Speaker 1>to rejoin his bloodline, because their blood, their family. You
<v Speaker 1>don't need a reason more than that, right, But they
<v Speaker 1>did what they did, and I know why they did it.
<v Speaker 1>So but Jayuso, I think is here's a prediction for
<v Speaker 1>twenty twenty five. Jayuso becomes World Champion, not WWN, undisputed
<v Speaker 1>Universal Champion, Okay, not the undisputed Championship, the world champion.
<v Speaker 1>So I think Gunther could drop it at some point
<v Speaker 1>to U jay Uso. I don't think he'll drop it
<v Speaker 1>to Punk, although Punk did claim he was going after
<v Speaker 1>it a couple of months ago after the middle of
<v Speaker 1>the Drew program and they went into their third match
<v Speaker 1>with Helen a seal. But I think jay Uso is
<v Speaker 1>a front runner to be the one to take the
<v Speaker 1>belt off of Gunther, and I actually wouldn't mind that
<v Speaker 1>when the time is right. I don't want Gunther going
<v Speaker 1>on a four and a half year rain, Okay, I
<v Speaker 1>don't need a Roman reign's length. I do need something
<v Speaker 1>that's significant and memorable, and when he loses, it means something,
<v Speaker 1>and he loses to the right guy more importantly, And
<v Speaker 1>I think post WrestleMania you're looking at maybe you know
<v Speaker 1>next year's early spring and summer summer Slam. Even at WrestleMania,
<v Speaker 1>you could make a case to me. But jay Usill's
<v Speaker 1>ready to be the guy if they want him to be.
<v Speaker 1>The company knows who and what he is. The fans
<v Speaker 1>have a hell of a connection with him, more than
<v Speaker 1>his brother. And I don't know how long this reuniting
<v Speaker 1>is going to last. We'll see and lot to discuss
<v Speaker 1>after this, after they reunite, and how long it lasts
<v Speaker 1>and all the rest. All right. We had then backstage
<v Speaker 1>Adam Pierce yelling at Nick all this, and Pierce agreed,
<v Speaker 1>said he agreed to let Jimmy and Usso appear on Raw,
<v Speaker 1>but he didn't agree to let the Bloodline appear, and
<v Speaker 1>Pierce told all this that he needs to control his
<v Speaker 1>damn roster and said he would call him back. I
<v Speaker 1>love this. Are they listening to me? Is somebody in
<v Speaker 1>creative listening to this show? Because I'm the only one
<v Speaker 1>who seems to care about this at least from the
<v Speaker 1>shows and commentary I've heard. It's nice to see them
<v Speaker 1>actually even for a moment, And this is That's all
<v Speaker 1>I'm asking for. I'm not asking for it to be
<v Speaker 1>a big deal that needs to run several segments. It
<v Speaker 1>literally can be solved with a phone call for ten seconds,
<v Speaker 1>which is exactly what we got here of Pierce and
<v Speaker 1>all this talking about how their stars should not be
<v Speaker 1>on their show, right, the SmackDown star shouldn't be on
<v Speaker 1>their show, and vice versa that thank you now, consistency
<v Speaker 1>on this is going to vary, right, Your mileage may
<v Speaker 1>vary on this, as they say, but at least for
<v Speaker 1>a night, they acknowledge that the brand's splits do exist.
<v Speaker 1>I don't think. I'm not confident that they're going to
<v Speaker 1>continue that, but I did enjoy that. Okay. We then
<v Speaker 1>had Ludwig Kaiser versus Seamus. This match went nearly ten minutes,
<v Speaker 1>really fun match, physical. The fans seem to be very
<v Speaker 1>much behind Seamus, who's in that legacy role right now,
<v Speaker 1>and he did beat Ludwig Kaiser with a brogue kick,
<v Speaker 1>some hard chops, as you'd expect. Seamus is just a
<v Speaker 1>an absolute beast of a human being. And you know,
<v Speaker 1>Ludwig Kaiser has also kind of stalled. He's sometimes the
<v Speaker 1>lackey for Gunter and sometimes he's not. Sometimes he's doing
<v Speaker 1>his own thing, sometimes he's not. It's kind of weird
<v Speaker 1>where Kaiser is. I'm not really sure. I don't think
<v Speaker 1>they know. But for Seamus, he's also in a weird
<v Speaker 1>spot because he doesn't get a ton of time to talk.
<v Speaker 1>He had his little uh spat with Pete Dunn, I
<v Speaker 1>E Butch. They had a fun program that seems to
<v Speaker 1>be on the back burner for now. They might revisit it,
<v Speaker 1>but then Kaiser's there. I don't know where Seamus is going.
<v Speaker 1>He's in a legacy role right now. He'll never likely
<v Speaker 1>be at the top ever again in terms of a
<v Speaker 1>top champion, but he's certainly a Hall of famer and
<v Speaker 1>he can still work, so he's in it an interesting spot.
<v Speaker 1>Right now, he has star power behind him, he's got
<v Speaker 1>respect behind him from fans and you know, backstage alike.
<v Speaker 1>So you do wonder what his role is moving forward
<v Speaker 1>for Shamus. But all right, we Ripley had a promo
<v Speaker 1>and said video promo, and she said, Raquel Rodriguez trying
<v Speaker 1>to paint a pretty picture of herself last week, and
<v Speaker 1>she said Rodriguez betrayed her with malice and ego, whereas
<v Speaker 1>what she's done to her and live has been deserved.
<v Speaker 1>Ripley conceded she's made mistakes in the past and she
<v Speaker 1>only cares about regaining the Women's World Championship. She added
<v Speaker 1>that Rodriguez and Morgan would have to kill her to
<v Speaker 1>stop her. A lot of death, a lot of death
<v Speaker 1>being brought into wrestling as of late. You have to
<v Speaker 1>kill me to stop me. Even Drew and Punk talked
<v Speaker 1>about that and their promos up to Hell and Us
<v Speaker 1>all you have to kill me to stop me. I
<v Speaker 1>guess Rea Ripley. Uh, I mean, she's continuing just to
<v Speaker 1>say this, and I don't you're you know, I have
<v Speaker 1>mixed feelings about it because you're never actually gonna follow
<v Speaker 1>through with that. They know he's actually gonna do that,
<v Speaker 1>so you know off the bat that that's just hyperbole,
<v Speaker 1>but it also elevates the seriousness of her statement, So
<v Speaker 1>I'll leave it at that. Backstage, the Uslos cross paths
<v Speaker 1>with Sammy, and that's where Jimmy h He looked at
<v Speaker 1>Jimmy while asking Jay if they could speak alone. Jimmy
<v Speaker 1>and Zane kind of stared at one another, and then
<v Speaker 1>Jay asked Jimmy to let him speak with Zaye. Zayne
<v Speaker 1>asked Jay if everything was really cool now after everything
<v Speaker 1>Jimmy did to him. He wondered if Jay was really
<v Speaker 1>going to speak with Reins. He said he thinks Solo
<v Speaker 1>is worse than Roman, and Jay told Sammy it sounded
<v Speaker 1>like he was on so Coa's side. Zayne said, He's
<v Speaker 1>not on anyone's side, which is weird. It's weird. Sammy
<v Speaker 1>zayin in this promo said I'm not on anyone's side,
<v Speaker 1>and then he said that he's on his side or
<v Speaker 1>something like. He completely negated everything. He just said. He's like,
<v Speaker 1>I'm not taking sides. I'm on my side or on
<v Speaker 1>your something like. That's something the effect of he said
<v Speaker 1>he's not on anyone's side, and then immediately the next
<v Speaker 1>sentence to Clarity's on someone's side anyway. He told Jay
<v Speaker 1>that he didn't have to choose sides and go back
<v Speaker 1>and that he wouldn't understand. Jay told Zayne, this is
<v Speaker 1>the I guess the zinger. So Jay told Zayne he
<v Speaker 1>wouldn't understand because he's not family. So there's a little
<v Speaker 1>tension there with Jay and Sammy. Obviously this is not
<v Speaker 1>going to lead to anything. Let's hope not imagine if
<v Speaker 1>they start another civil war like it's Jay versus Sammy
<v Speaker 1>and Jimmy attacks Roman. Oh my god, they can't and
<v Speaker 1>they would not. But that's all done and over. Any
<v Speaker 1>any tension you see with any of these men is
<v Speaker 1>long past. We've done every combination of people turning on
<v Speaker 1>one another. It's done. It's over. It's about reuniting and
<v Speaker 1>then maybe they go back through their separate way. All right,
<v Speaker 1>We've got Gunther featured in a video promo. He spoke
<v Speaker 1>about Cody and he's the golden boy for everyone and
<v Speaker 1>labeled him a gutlass champion. Gunther said Cody drags everyone
<v Speaker 1>into everyone else's business, including Orton, and then he hyped
<v Speaker 1>the SmackDown tag team match and told Cody to ask
<v Speaker 1>Orton what it's like to be choked out by him.
<v Speaker 1>Gunther said the same thing what happened to Cody and
<v Speaker 1>then called him a secondary champion. All right, so quick
<v Speaker 1>solid promo from gun through there hyping up SmackDown again. Crossover. Anyway,
<v Speaker 1>Zelena Vega comes out. She was with Joaquin Ryle Wild
<v Speaker 1>and Cruise del Toro. She took on Ivy and Isle,
<v Speaker 1>who was with the Creed Brothers. So in this case,
<v Speaker 1>Ivy and Ile beats Zelena Vega. Kind of surprising, honestly,
<v Speaker 1>you know, I thought Zelena had a little bit of momentum.
<v Speaker 1>There's a there's a small movement starting for Zelena on
<v Speaker 1>the internet. They didn't give it to her here, so
<v Speaker 1>I was a bit surprised, a little disappointed too with
<v Speaker 1>Selena Vega not getting the victory here. Again, not not
<v Speaker 1>the worst thing in the world. She just kind of
<v Speaker 1>she She's just the same. I mean, I don't think
<v Speaker 1>anything has really changed with her career here with this match,
<v Speaker 1>but certainly it's uh, certainly it's just kind of telling
<v Speaker 1>of where they are taking the temperature of her career
<v Speaker 1>in a current state in w W. E is kind
<v Speaker 1>of what this told me? So backstage again that the
<v Speaker 1>Bloodline reunion continues as Jimmy asked Jay how his talk
<v Speaker 1>with Sammy's en Jay went, and Jay recalled telling Zane
<v Speaker 1>that he wasn't family and Jimmy said, well he's not.
<v Speaker 1>Jay said that Sammy stepped up when Jimmy left, and
<v Speaker 1>Jimmy asked Jay to let Sammy him talk to Sammy.
<v Speaker 1>Jay was worried that something bad would happen, but Jimmy
<v Speaker 1>assured him that they would just talk. SETH. Rollins was
<v Speaker 1>shown them nexstage and we're hyping up Rollins here, who
<v Speaker 1>comes out and he said that Bronson Reid is reminding
<v Speaker 1>him of what he's capable of, and he kind of
<v Speaker 1>likes it. We do two, Seth, we do two. That's
<v Speaker 1>when Bronson Reid interrupts and Reid said he promised Adam
<v Speaker 1>Pierce that he wouldn't cause chaos. Reid said, if Rollins
<v Speaker 1>wants to haunt a monster, then he was waiting in
<v Speaker 1>the parking lot and Rollins told Reed not to move,
<v Speaker 1>and then a camera followed Rollins backstage. Adam Pierce, as
<v Speaker 1>he does every week, you know, busts a blood vessel
<v Speaker 1>in his head yelling, and he's trying to stop Rollins
<v Speaker 1>by saying he's already had his match, but Rollins blew
<v Speaker 1>him off. Reid tossed the security guard at side of
<v Speaker 1>the parking lot and Rollins arrived and fought him. So
<v Speaker 1>and we all know the rest as I described about
<v Speaker 1>what happened with the death valley driver to end it
<v Speaker 1>and the stomp on the car. So two things here.
<v Speaker 1>Security needs to I mean, how is no one being
<v Speaker 1>fine for every week attacking security. Now we know that
<v Speaker 1>they're just local wrestling talent that throw on security shirts
<v Speaker 1>and cosplay security guards, but it's just it's just fun.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, I've never seen security every week. I mean
<v Speaker 1>it's been It's hilarious. I love watching security get their
<v Speaker 1>ass kick. There's something about a guilty pleasure about watching
<v Speaker 1>these hapless people, who, if they're actual security guards, are
<v Speaker 1>some of the worst security guards ever because they're sure
<v Speaker 1>they're working with wrestlers who the company's focusing on. The
<v Speaker 1>company doesn't give a damn about the security guards and
<v Speaker 1>how they look. It's all about the security guards being used.
<v Speaker 1>I get that, But if you're actually security guard and
<v Speaker 1>you're being tossed around this much, and there's like ten
<v Speaker 1>of you who can't take out one guy. Then like, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>it's a little ridiculous, but it is a guilty pleasure.
<v Speaker 1>It's certainly a guilty pleasure of mine. I don't know
<v Speaker 1>how you guys feel. Secondly, this tells me that if
<v Speaker 1>both of them defied the promise that they made Adam
<v Speaker 1>Pierce that next week, both of them or one of them,
<v Speaker 1>probably one of the two is going to be banned
<v Speaker 1>from probably banned from the arena if this program continues
<v Speaker 1>beyond Crown Jewel, which it might. So if that's the case,
<v Speaker 1>then I'm fine with it continuing. If they want to
<v Speaker 1>go with Bronson Reid and Seth Brollins for another month,
<v Speaker 1>like I have no problem with that. If they don't
<v Speaker 1>have a bigger opponent set for Seth or a bigger
<v Speaker 1>match set up for Seth at Survivors series, working with
<v Speaker 1>Bronson Reid for another month is actually I think a
<v Speaker 1>great idea. Continues to elevate Bronson Reid. They seem to
<v Speaker 1>have chemistry. Let them go, man, you know, so pretty
<v Speaker 1>pretty pretty fun brawl here. As I mentioned, Okay, but
<v Speaker 1>we have let's see, we have them Miz and he
<v Speaker 1>showed up and tried to apologize to Truth, and Maxine
<v Speaker 1>told Truth not to listen to Miz, who said Truth
<v Speaker 1>shouldn't listen to snow White and the two dorks. I
<v Speaker 1>guess we're back in fourth grade. Truth said that Miz
<v Speaker 1>had a point and then danced with him before dropping
<v Speaker 1>him with a slap, and Truth said, good luck with
<v Speaker 1>the wyats. Y'all gonna die. Truth called Pete Dunn by
<v Speaker 1>the butcher by the name Butch as he walked past
<v Speaker 1>if he'd seen Pete. That was pretty funny, all right,
<v Speaker 1>Raymisterio and Dragon Lee versus Covie An, Xavier versus the
<v Speaker 1>war Raiders, Eric and Ivar for in a triple threat
<v Speaker 1>for a shot at the world tag team titles. Longer
<v Speaker 1>match Here eighteen minutes, the war Raiders took out Raymistereo
<v Speaker 1>and Xavier, Woods and Kofe. So the war Raiders win
<v Speaker 1>as they should have. Number one. The name is so
<v Speaker 1>simple and so just so compact, and I love it
<v Speaker 1>way better than the Viking Raiders, or remember they were
<v Speaker 1>their Viking experience. I'm old enough to remember that. So
<v Speaker 1>the war Raiders just is so much better and concise
<v Speaker 1>and just a very very solid name, So I hope
<v Speaker 1>they stick with that and they don't try to modify
<v Speaker 1>it anymore. Eric and Ivar have obvious chemistry. Now, Ivar
<v Speaker 1>was while Eric was injured, doing a very nice job
<v Speaker 1>in a singles role, if you recall so the matches
<v Speaker 1>he had, I mean, he was doing moon salts and
<v Speaker 1>all the rest, which I typically am not a fan
<v Speaker 1>of bigger guys trying to do things that they shouldn't,
<v Speaker 1>but it made me remember his singles run as short
<v Speaker 1>as it was while his tag team partner was injured.
<v Speaker 1>Now they're back together, they are forced to be reckoned
<v Speaker 1>with We know who they are, they have a name
<v Speaker 1>that actually isn't laughable, and it's fun to watch their
<v Speaker 1>entrance is you know it is. It's fine.
<v Speaker 2>We aren't.
<v Speaker 1>They aren't being referred to as Vikings anymore. So that
<v Speaker 1>that's that's ps ICH think the key that makes them
<v Speaker 1>less cartoonish, and it's it's just fine. It's fine. So
<v Speaker 1>Eric and Ivar, who I think are maybe the favorites
<v Speaker 1>here to win the whole thing. But the match was fun.
<v Speaker 1>The finish, which I didn't get to yet. We had
<v Speaker 1>Kingston set up Lee for the double team move, but
<v Speaker 1>Woods dropped from the rope, Woods charged towards Mysterio, who moved,
<v Speaker 1>causing him to tumble over to ringside. And then we
<v Speaker 1>had Dragon Lee get Kingston in position for a six
<v Speaker 1>' one nine and then performed a flip dive onto
<v Speaker 1>Woods ray set for the six to one nine. Chad
<v Speaker 1>Gables showed up and tripped him and the war Raiders
<v Speaker 1>springboard clotheslined into a German souplex combo on Kingston and
<v Speaker 1>Eric got the victory. So did I mean, did Gable
<v Speaker 1>really need to be there? I don't know. I do
<v Speaker 1>love Chatdy, I do love me some Chad Gable though
<v Speaker 1>it wasn't really necessary. But again, this is also not
<v Speaker 1>just furthering the war Raiders and their likely quest for
<v Speaker 1>the the likely destination of challenging for the World Tag
<v Speaker 1>team titles, but also the further continuation of Xavier and Kofe,
<v Speaker 1>which is going to be getting close to a boiling
<v Speaker 1>point here. We're only got a few weeks here, and
<v Speaker 1>I think we're going to be finally watching Xavier turn
<v Speaker 1>right after Crown Jewel. All right, so we had again,
<v Speaker 1>and this is kind of the theme here. Jimmy, You's
<v Speaker 1>looking for Samy backstage. Finally finding Jay outside the building,
<v Speaker 1>Jay asked Jimmy if he spoke with Sammy. Jimmy pointed
<v Speaker 1>the parking lot where Zane was and speaking with So
<v Speaker 1>and was speaking with Solo. Jimmy said he told Old
<v Speaker 1>Jay and added that the two of them in rains
<v Speaker 1>had to handle things, and Dominic walked on the stage. Okay,
<v Speaker 1>so a little bit of perhaps defection of sorts from
<v Speaker 1>Sammy going to the new bloodline. We know that's not
<v Speaker 1>gonna happen. It's it shouldn't happen. There's no need for
<v Speaker 1>it to happen. The og bloodline versus the the rogue
<v Speaker 1>bloodline is what survivisory should be. As it mentioned, no
<v Speaker 1>one should turn on anyone. No Jimmy turning on Sammy,
<v Speaker 1>or Sammy turning on Jay or sam none of that.
<v Speaker 1>We've been there. It's over. So this was nothing more
<v Speaker 1>than just trying to put in the minds of fans. Wait,
<v Speaker 1>he's just talking with Sola. What what's what's he? You know?
<v Speaker 1>What are they saying? Could could Sammy actually be considering
<v Speaker 1>joining the Yeah? Of course not No, all right, Damien
<v Speaker 1>versus Dominic Mysterio. So this match was thirteen minutes exactly,
<v Speaker 1>and interesting match from the perspective of how they left it. Now,
<v Speaker 1>Dominic Mysterio gets the victory. Here we had Carlito get
<v Speaker 1>beat out. He interfered and he gets beat up with
<v Speaker 1>the chair. He rolls to ringside, and that's how Dom
<v Speaker 1>got a roll up after a distracted Priest was messing
<v Speaker 1>around with the rest of the Judgment Day members, hitting McDonough,
<v Speaker 1>Carlito and Live Morgan and Roquelle showed up and it
<v Speaker 1>was just a Judgment Day mess as you'd expect. The
<v Speaker 1>roll up wasn't the greatest. I mean, Damian Priest just
<v Speaker 1>kind of laid there. Usually you try to create the
<v Speaker 1>illusion you're trying to get out of the pinfall, like
<v Speaker 1>kicking your legs or something, and he just laid there,
<v Speaker 1>which again minor, minor thing, but he was rolled up
<v Speaker 1>by Dom and you're thinking, oh, okay, well Dom gets
<v Speaker 1>the victory. He doesn't win a whole lot of matches
<v Speaker 1>late as of late, so that was a bit of
<v Speaker 1>a surprise. And that's you know, this is the main
<v Speaker 1>event here, so you're thinking, all right, that's how they're
<v Speaker 1>going to leave it. Well, no, they had Damien go
<v Speaker 1>on on an absolute tear here and make you for They
<v Speaker 1>made WWE fans forget all about him losing because he
<v Speaker 1>grabbed Tom hit the razor's edge as is after the
<v Speaker 1>match here, after he already lost, he went to ringside
<v Speaker 1>and slammed the chair on Dom's back repeatedly, and Priest
<v Speaker 1>left the ring, turned around again and he stood over
<v Speaker 1>Dom and the fans were chanting one more time. Carlito
<v Speaker 1>comes in. He got a kind of sloppy South of Heaven,
<v Speaker 1>not due to Priest but rather Carlito on that one,
<v Speaker 1>but it was fine. Priest then picks up Dom and
<v Speaker 1>gave him the South of Heaven and this was really
<v Speaker 1>about leaving Damian Priest looking strong despite the fact that
<v Speaker 1>he lost to Dominic here it tells you that there's
<v Speaker 1>more they have in store for Priest. Has he cooled
<v Speaker 1>off since his run with the world title? Yes? Should
<v Speaker 1>he move on soon from the Judgment Day? Yes? I
<v Speaker 1>would say Survivor Series in four weeks should be it.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know in what matchup, whatever formation they want,
<v Speaker 1>finalize it, move on. I'm ready. I think everyone else
<v Speaker 1>is ready for a Priest to wrap up this program
<v Speaker 1>with the Judgment Day. But it did send the message
<v Speaker 1>loud and clear that they have more in store for
<v Speaker 1>Damian that they didn't want your lasting image, your lasting
<v Speaker 1>feeling of Damian Priest losing the dominic mysterio in the
<v Speaker 1>main event via a roll up as the final lasting image.
<v Speaker 1>So that's clearly not what they want. It's not what
<v Speaker 1>they're going to get because fans are just gonna remember that.
<v Speaker 1>And it was fun, you know, it was a fun
<v Speaker 1>beat down by Damian Priest on the judgment day. Now,
<v Speaker 1>I want to shift gears here a little bit. There's
<v Speaker 1>a developing story about Vince McMahon and no, it doesn't
<v Speaker 1>have to do with hush money, doesn't have to do
<v Speaker 1>with any sex allegations, infidelity, we've been through that, or
<v Speaker 1>his health. In fact, Vince McMahon is resurrecting his career here.
<v Speaker 1>This is a report that is all over the place.
<v Speaker 1>Wrestling Incs carrying it all the big names that he's
<v Speaker 1>launching an entertainment company. Who that's enlisting former WWE personnel
<v Speaker 1>and we have According to p W Insider, McMahon is
<v Speaker 1>setting up a new entertainment company alongside former executives Brad
<v Speaker 1>Blum and Kristin Proudy, who will be involved with the company.
<v Speaker 1>Blum said Or was McMahon's chief of staff before his
<v Speaker 1>retirement in twenty twenty two, when both of them exited
<v Speaker 1>the company. Blum then returned with McMahon when the former
<v Speaker 1>chairman returned in twenty twenty three to facilitate the merger
<v Speaker 1>of UFC ANDWE under endeavor, and then resigned his position
<v Speaker 1>in May. The new entertainment company will not compete with
<v Speaker 1>TKO Group Holdings, which is the parent company of It
<v Speaker 1>is said to be focused on fiction and non fiction products,
<v Speaker 1>likely meaning movies and television, keeping it far from the
<v Speaker 1>sports entertainment world of pro wrestling and mixed martial arts.
<v Speaker 1>The company will reportedly be based in la McMahon resigned
<v Speaker 1>from his TKOW duties in January following the revelation of
<v Speaker 1>his civil lawsuit against him John Laurnidis an unnamed corporate
<v Speaker 1>officers for their role and their sexual abuse, harassment, trafficking
<v Speaker 1>of former employee Janelle Grant. McMahon, Laurynidis, and w B
<v Speaker 1>are currently awaiting the results of a federal investigation into
<v Speaker 1>any possible criminal charges that could stem from Grant's allegations.
<v Speaker 1>On top of Grant's allegations. McMahon, his wife, Linda w
<v Speaker 1>BTKO group holdings are currently the subject of a civil
<v Speaker 1>lawsuit claiming negligence in the infamous Ring Boys scandal of
<v Speaker 1>the early nineties, which alleges Vince and Linda knew, knew of,
<v Speaker 1>and did nothing about ring announcer Mel Phillips sexual abuse
<v Speaker 1>of minors. So while I just said that the story
<v Speaker 1>has nothing to do with his sex allegations, that's kind
<v Speaker 1>of like the that's really not the story. This article
<v Speaker 1>mentions it. But the real story here is about Vince
<v Speaker 1>McMahon's potential new entertainment company that is not about pro wrestling,
<v Speaker 1>and that he's teaming up with a former chief of
<v Speaker 1>s staff, Brad Blum. I don't know who Kristin Proud
<v Speaker 1>he was. I don't know what a position was or
<v Speaker 1>what she will be in this new company that we
<v Speaker 1>don't know the name over really anything about yet other
<v Speaker 1>than it's an entertainment company. But yeah, it should not
<v Speaker 1>be pro wrestling, And it just tells you is anyone surprised,
<v Speaker 1>I mean, is anyone really surprised that Vince McMahon, who's
<v Speaker 1>been doing this out of the womb, producing television that
<v Speaker 1>he wants to produce television again, is anyone surprised the
<v Speaker 1>guy is born for this. Love or hate him, and
<v Speaker 1>a lot of people have some negative feelings for him,
<v Speaker 1>and with some justification, no doubt, But this guy was
<v Speaker 1>born for this. This is all he knows. This is
<v Speaker 1>all he knows, and you know what, he was damn
<v Speaker 1>good at it. If he wasn't, we wouldn't be all
<v Speaker 1>watching a multi billion dollar company that has affected millions
<v Speaker 1>and millions of lives. Okay, So say what you want
<v Speaker 1>about him, and it's certainly not me defending any of
<v Speaker 1>his actions in the civil lawsuit at allegedly or potential
<v Speaker 1>criminal charges that may come from Janelle Grant's accusations. No,
<v Speaker 1>I'm talking about professionally only, right from a professional standpoint,
<v Speaker 1>not his personal actions and infidelities. His professional career was
<v Speaker 1>absolutely amazing and it doesn't surprise me and it shudn't
<v Speaker 1>surprise anybody that's going to do this. Now, what space
<v Speaker 1>is it going to be in? Is it going to
<v Speaker 1>be in the TV space, movie space? I mean, I'm
<v Speaker 1>not sure, but yeah, this shouldn't be pro wrestling, just
<v Speaker 1>that would be absurd to start his own pro Wrestling
<v Speaker 1>company outside of w W. I mean, he's what nearly
<v Speaker 1>eighty years old, and he likely doesn't have a ton
<v Speaker 1>of years left on this earth, which will make a
<v Speaker 1>lot of people happy. But I mean, honestly, it'll be
<v Speaker 1>sad to see when Vince goes. And I would suggest,
<v Speaker 1>because once he's gone, he's gone, that if we can
<v Speaker 1>get Vince on camera as much as possible, interview him,
<v Speaker 1>get his take on stuff, because once he's gone, you
<v Speaker 1>can't do that. I really hope that there's a production
<v Speaker 1>company out there. And I know there was a whole
<v Speaker 1>documentary down about Vince's you know, all the you know,
<v Speaker 1>the trials and tribulations, but you can do a whole
<v Speaker 1>lot more. You don't think it'd be awesome. You can't
<v Speaker 1>tell me that a Vince McMahon started a podcast that
<v Speaker 1>you guys wouldn't listen and before his and actually, well
<v Speaker 1>I should take that back. His voice, especially towards the
<v Speaker 1>end of his run in WWE, was horrible to him.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, you couldn't even understand what he was saying.
<v Speaker 1>His enunciation was poor. It's not I'm not saying he
<v Speaker 1>had any disability or any any you know, anything like that.
<v Speaker 1>I think it was just age on the microphone. He's
<v Speaker 1>really hard to understand. But I think maybe in a
<v Speaker 1>quiet setting, when there's no microphone he has to yell
<v Speaker 1>into in front of fifteen thousand people, like what I'm
<v Speaker 1>doing here in an enclosed room, no one's here, just
<v Speaker 1>my mic and myself, Then I think it might be
<v Speaker 1>worth doing you, just like the Undertaker's doing right now.
<v Speaker 1>Look what he's doing. Unbelievable successful. This podcast opened up
<v Speaker 1>talk to how many stories does he have? The stories
<v Speaker 1>that Undertaker has, I mean times that by ten with
<v Speaker 1>Vince McMahon. You don't think it'd be awesome to hear
<v Speaker 1>about the stories with of course, you know everyone's going
<v Speaker 1>to try to dig the dirt out, but I'm sure
<v Speaker 1>there's a ton of stories he could tell us about,
<v Speaker 1>you know, backstage goings on and potential storylines he wanted
<v Speaker 1>to do but never could you know, some funny stories
<v Speaker 1>and road stories and all the things. Sure keep the
<v Speaker 1>dirt and bring it to your grave. You know, I'm
<v Speaker 1>not advocating for him to bring that out and bury people,
<v Speaker 1>but there's a lot of content that I'd love to hear,
<v Speaker 1>Like how much stuff are we hearing? From Undertaker and
<v Speaker 1>you know others that have retired. I hope he doesn't
<v Speaker 1>take this to his grave. I want to hear about
<v Speaker 1>that kind of stuff, regardless of you know, the fact
<v Speaker 1>that he has some issue personally. It would be I
<v Speaker 1>think arousing success of Vince were ever to do that.
<v Speaker 1>It just you know, his own podcast. I would love
<v Speaker 1>to listen to that as long as his voice can
<v Speaker 1>hold up. I would. I would subscribe in a minute,
<v Speaker 1>and you guys know you would too. You'd say publicly
<v Speaker 1>you wouldn't, but you know that you'd hit that subscribe
<v Speaker 1>button behind closed doors because it'd be fascinating to hear
<v Speaker 1>what he has to say with all the you know,
<v Speaker 1>the stories and everything else that we don't know what happened,
<v Speaker 1>and well, when this happened, were you thinking of turning
<v Speaker 1>this guy heel? And it was discussed and how close
<v Speaker 1>were you to doing that? I mean fascinating to hear
<v Speaker 1>from the guy that took this pro wrestling thing from
<v Speaker 1>local to national to worldwide? Are you kidding me? One
<v Speaker 1>of the most successful businessmen in our in our lifetimes.
<v Speaker 1>Of course, it'd be fascinating. So I hope that, like
<v Speaker 1>I don't know what he's doing here specifically with these
<v Speaker 1>movies and television presumably, but I hope he does something
<v Speaker 1>on the side where he doesn't take a lot of
<v Speaker 1>his knowledge and a lot of his stories to the grave,
<v Speaker 1>you know, again, the things he wants to share. Of course,
<v Speaker 1>he's not gonna share everything. But anyway, because the time's
<v Speaker 1>running out, I mean, I really have to say, and
<v Speaker 1>I don't know if I'm the only one, but every
<v Speaker 1>time that I see a story about Vince, it's some
<v Speaker 1>of his names trending on Twitter, I'm like, oh, wow,
<v Speaker 1>he finally died. Huh. You know, you know, long life
<v Speaker 1>and all that, you know, and Vince is a tough guy.
<v Speaker 1>But even time will finally defeat Vince McMahon. He won't
<v Speaker 1>be able to kick out of that finish move, right.
<v Speaker 1>So anyway, just some kind of thoughts here. I didn't
<v Speaker 1>know I was going to really talk about Vince McMahon tonight,
<v Speaker 1>but that story is making the rounds on X on
<v Speaker 1>Twitter of course, on all the pro wrestling sites that
<v Speaker 1>we all know and love. It's all over the place.
<v Speaker 1>So yeah, we'll see what that is. And I have
<v Speaker 1>fun here tonight with the raw review. I'll be back well,
