Undertaker's debut, he did have a little tans because you think he's coming off
a mean mark. I don't think, and the gimmicks not fully developed yet.
That makes sense. Actually a lot of it's kind of accurate if it's
to that exact event for him to a little Tansky. Yeah, just weird
having a tan Undertaker in your collection. But you don't ever know, because
I feel like you're gonna display with the jacket anyway, and it is what
it is. If you guys have any other follow up from last week,
I do not well Rush Collectibles. Those figures are still really bad. I
think all three of us are officially blocked on social media. Oh I didn't

And then whenever we go through Long Island, I try to wear you
know, Long Island color. Sometimes I'll do that where the color of the
town. So specifically, we had a nice segments going in the business for
himself, trying to get a cheap pop yep, yep, yeah, we
had an old bob. Yeah but yeah, but this I was mgf's lawyer
on this episode and he was a big baby face. You know what I'm
saying. Come on, he was wearing all it was a face. Yeah,
well I was in the ring with him. Keep going anyway, Long

So cool. I thought this was a customer. This is a real
product. It's a real product, but it's really illegal. Uh yeah,
I'm not really sure. I hear. I believe the head is so bad
that this guy was able to like, I think it's the whole thing.
Yeah, yeah, like it's pretty cool. I got two versions of this
of this Dolph Lungren said that Mattel one came out and it was so bad.
I just didn't even get it. But I bought this head and then
I bought it today. It's still on Mattel Creation, so I have that
coming in the mail. But I got two Dolph Lungren's heads. That's what
I got. Is the Mattel One's supposed to look like Dolph Lungren. Uh
yeah, well you know they can't do yes exactly right exactly, but it's
the same gear or whatever you would say. It's the same look from the
film. Got us two of the exact same heads, but they have different

figures didn't look like the cartoons. You were like twenty when that came out,

was it was a very weird, very weird character choice, you know for

So in a world where we're getting better figures now, well, is it
just gonna have hands and new elbows? Are we talking like a different version?
I think you could fix it. No, And I'm saying like a
fixed version of whatever? The thing? I mean, I would love to
have a nice Jimmy's stuck in the town one sucks. Yeah, But I
think he's saying like it's gonna just be the fixed elbows and stuff. Then

then I can't put a different like different parts on them era of Jimmy

But man, if you were able to have different hands and you could kind

I'd want them to reduce some of those bread harts with and corrected glasses every

you guys the success you guys have had carrying on the Vandels line and then
continuing on the LG line. Is there another defunct toy line that's next down

how Figure Collection is doing that bone crushing style, which I would have picked,
you know, but I didn't even think it was possible to do.

expensive for him. So serious too. He's not even gonna have the bone
crunching. I don't think you need it, but I think we're gonna stick
with the big rubber guys from Yeah, there's no plans. But the only
thing that I would even consider major Sweat, I would the only thing I
would even consider. I would actually I would get it as well. I

M yeah, well yes and no no, I guess there was for
sure. And I don't know about right now, but w B, like
you weren't allowed to just get a drastic haircut or a tattoo because like,
it's not really toys, it's everything. It's like photos and you know,
promotional things that they have you on, you know, and it kind of
depends on your status of how much you could get in trouble about that.
You remember like Umaga, I remember Maga coming in with the was a Samoa
and stuffy what the fuck? And then they just forgot about it. Like
of course the back is I get in trouble. The major brothers did that,
we would have been five, you know. So that that's the reason
behind that, and that to to coordinate toys to take a year to make
with people's outfits on television real time is virtually impossible. And tell us try
a couple of times. It's it's just and then and then and then Another
thing is the boys are doing the opposite, like when we used to rive
a punk back in the day he was purposely changing his gear NonStop to get
more toys, so like like it was literally on purpose, but but also
in a world where, like, you know, the television product is the
most important thing possible. The angles on TV that the character changes, like
they're not in a room going, man, we really need to like,
you know, get this guy out of this group and then somebody's going.
But they have an Inner Circle figure coming out, so we can't do that.
You know, people would be like, we don't care if that figure
doesn't sell a single one. We have to do this this change. I
don't think that's ever come up in any booking meeting and all of wrestling.
Yeah, exactly, exactly. Well, what we got a celebrity first time

bowler. Mat I mentioned the cast Layer from Super seven before, so I
was wondering, is there a premium item from another toy line that is kind
of a grail item, something big, massive from the toy line you guys
would like that could go into productions. They're like an item you design,
maybe like a techno drone from Turtles or something like a really big one that
with oncest you want you wanted the uh the Jurassic Park gates right now,
one of those goddamn Jurassic Park gates that we're not going to get. But
I said the technodrome. Look, I just said on this podcast that I
was considering getting contradict getting out. Yeah, but I guess if you were
going to do a big thing, uh, you know, if this,
if this ThunderCats thing does great and they report great numbers from it, I
could see Super seven or Neka doing a Technodrome type of thing that's same size.
For sure. That would be you would be huge, bro, the
same size, literally the same size of that thing you could do. Yeah,
oh my god, I mean if that thing is huge, Yeah,
the Technodrome would be huge. I think it's just unfortunate that the Nitro stage
and get back, I mean in the wrestling landscape. Yeah, it's tough
to even imagine once now that that didn't get back. So I don't think
Mattel's gonna try anything that size. Keep saying like a terry, like a
bloody terry funk with the ECW entrance way, you know, Yeah, that's
that could be. That could be a market though, Yeah, well,
I'm thinking that's the meat on the bone that it's like, you know,
bloody or something that would keep it out of the stores would be too big,
don't we think just like a premium raw stage, Like I don't even
know if it needs to have some sort of this is the ninety seven stage
or whatever, like couldn't you just do a premium raw ramp with it with
us? But how do you execute the trown? I don't know. But
you can just pick a time that that looks good. I mean, there
was a give someone a stunner on it, like I don't know if that's
like I mean, uh, you know what a flashing lights? I don't
know. I don't know, raw raw logo something that's the problem. Yet

like to see you guys crossover with, like in an ideal situation, So
Rocking Alo was supposed to be a Joe. I think the Turtles are like
horring themselves out so much. Well, let's let's just a major Turtles,
a Dylan Postle with the Muppets. What I would like, ghost bust sacrifice
myself for a Dylan Postle and the Mupples? Who would but who would they
be? Just let's officially make him a Muppet like we always knew that he
was. Oh my god, that's horrible. I would love I would love
turtles. That's what I'm actually premium minum. That he could sell a muppet
swaggle. Yeah, well he wasn't a Muppet movie, I know, but
make him a mule. How has he not made that already? He could
get somebody to design a swaggle muppet and then he could just make it sell

guys have accomplished the five years for the podcast, like the most surprising where
they never called would ever happened, and here we are. It's here,
like almost everything. Yeah, I think because I didn't know when we started
the podcast. It was just us fucking talking about toys. I think the
first one is like forty five minutes. We didn't think that there would be
merch where there would be or on figure line or T shirts or whether we
get fired. Yeah, everything, I mean, everything can changed. Like
you know, it's like I can't even think to what I was thinking back
then because it's everything's drastically changed so much. You never expect. You never
thought, guys, that you would be making a Ric Flair action figure Okay,
yeah, wiring him money, wiring Ric Flair money. Didn't think that
would happen, not going through, and then him being pissed, then having
a pay palot and then he getting set the paypalt his pants. Oh my
god. Yeah, just everything. Uh, I mean I say it all
the time, but I I am forever grateful that Matt pushed me to do
this because I did not. I didn't have the vision of what it could
have been, and I don't I don't think you did either, But at
least you do something, and like it was just life changing that we you
know that we we did this. So it's been been a wild ride.
I'm you know, I don't see an ending ever. So I mean it's
been so cool, turned into like a real business, like a full blown
job, really feel like work, you know, we're talking about toys or
designing toys or it's just it's so much fun. But yeah, like we
didn't think any of this. This wasn't like the plan in the beginning was
to you know, now even just that we'd be at a power cord and
talking about toy you know, like this isn't even a wrestling eventution around it
right now. It's kind of like surreal in that sense, right, Like
that's how far Less has come, you know. So that's that's a great
question. I will say that. On the other side of it, I
think I feel like I saw it. I mean I saw that through here.
No I've said I've told this story before, but I saw Brian was
my wrestling teacher, and I saw him tweet would you guys like it if
me and Matt did a wrestling figure podcast? That's what I saw, and
I immediately texted him and said, if you guys do this, I want
to help because I had just launched off the hop rope, and you know,
I sort of was thinking, I just want to have a good time
to start this podcast, get a new brand out there, whatever, But
I also was thinking that down the line, like what's the business plan here?
How could I monetize this? Where could this go? What would I
need to do to have that happen? And then so when I saw Brian
say that on Twitter, all I saw where that could go. I saw
the success that I was imagining in my head off that rope, but times
a million, because these guys were even more of an expert about the topic.
They were the perfect spokespeople for the wrestling figure industry. It was just
I saw it. I saw that the podcast would be very successful. However,
I did not see this. I thought that the audio podcast would be
a successful venture. I was like, like, as far as I saw,
I was like, we'll have a T shirts store and prossing team we'll
sell some funny shirts from time to time. Those about it, like even
in the beginning, I've talked about it before, Like we presented the idea
of to WWE whatever it was gonna be, like the Zach and Kurt Wrestling
figure show, and they said no, and they said, you know,
they didn't see anything in collectibles or podcast. Luckily, somebody who may or
may not be in his room sead just go ahead and do it. So
thank you very much the insight pal. But yeah, and then you know
when we got fired, luckily it was Matt and Brian because it would have
been gone and we were able to build upon it and grow it. And
uh, we got a question here, got Clark Kent, can we help
you? Good question from uh? Is that is that the that number one
referee bending? Yes? The referee bending number one? No. The big
guys are great. I'm excited to see that iconic as towy line kind of
continue almost What goes into create a toy line? What goes what kind of
work? Can you talk a little bit about fit sign that? Sure,
that's a great question. So let's let's let's say starts with us in our
the eight Connections we've made in the wrestling business for twenty something years. So
we figure out who we want to make and then we actually have to approach
them, approach them, sign them. And we don't do exclusive contracts.
I want people to make as much money as they can sign with whatever other
company want. I don't give a shit. The only exclusivity in our contracts
that no one else can make a fully rubber figure of that style. No
one else wouldn't happen so at the moment. So then you know, we
kind of decide like what gear we want them to be and what look,
and then we have ttd our artist who is incredible, and he he gives
us We send him reference shots of things of what we'd like it to be,
and then we go back and forth with him, and then we send
it to Psycho d Freedom who corrects it, dissects it, it makes it
even more perfect and accurate. And then we have to send it to a
three D sculptor who makes it a three D sculpt of it, and then
that gets sent to China where they make the prototype, the hand paid a
proto type. They mail it to us. Then we review that because there's
always something wrong with it. We send it the de freed and who dissects.
That's never just like yep, thumbs up. It's always like this that
yeah, it's and then once we have like once we approved the hand painted
prototype, then it's it's pretty easy. You know. There's always like a
snap through, like and packaging concept, packaging concepts sure, like you know,
for instance, for power Con, we would have all we could have
just in the same package. We wouldn't have all different exclusive packaging. I
think it's fun that way, and we wanted these to be you know,
we like to let him breathe. But we know there's a lot of men
on card collectors. So that's why all our packaging is receialable, so you
could take it out, take pictures of it, figure photography, and then
put it back in the in the box if you wanted it. So,
but it's a big team effort with connecting TTD really doing the hard work.
I would say, yeah, it connects up at the crack of dawn,
like in contact with China and like that. We had a fiasco the other
day where he called them and screamed at them about something. So like he's
the one who's really getting his you know, fingernails dirty, like doing all
the hard work really Yeah, like the SDL figure that was made, like
her face just kept looking off and off and off and off, and then
eventually, like Connect yelled at the factory and like they did an investigation.
They realized whoever was making the molds was letting air into the mold and it
was like warping her face. Yeah, so it's just a lot goes into
it, but you have to be like hands on twenty four seven or that's
why a lot of these companies take so long. Like if you get an
email from trying to get her spun right away, you know, you can't
respond a couple of days, like it has to be done. And that's
why we started this toy line. It's because we wanted to be our top
priority. You know, Super seven is great, being with Ringside is great,
but we're not their top priority, which is fine. I'm not expecting
to be. Yeah, but the only way to guarantee that us and our
figures are our top priority is we just do it ourselves. And even then
it's still process. It takes time no matter what. Yeah, so that
was a great question. Yeah, awesome, Ken Bruno says, well,
we've got Life seventeen coming up, Guys, He says, who is the
best guest for a live show that fell through? Fell through? Yeah,
nobody, nobody bails on us. Maybe not bail, but I feel like
there was somebody big we Christian once but then he like, oh yeah,
he never agreed, he never agreed to do it. He agreed, but
then didn't. I just would have been a prick anyway. I wonder if
I could pull up the text, that's not even like I thought there was
somebody in Dallas. Didn we have somebody big that was gonna do Dallas and
then Undertaker? Yeah, Mark No showed that one. Yeah we had Undertaker
and Dallas, guys, But I can't there was a lot of we don't
know if they're going to be here. We were. I always love when
people come and they have no clue what they're gonna into and then they have
the best time ever. That's like my favorite thing. Let's turn this into
a positive. What about people we didn't expect and they just showed up,
Like Kevin Nash, My god, that was a whole collapse. We put
him at the end. Well he's the main event, but we were like,
if if he doesn't show up. If he doesn't show up, like
we'll go to this segment or whatever. Yeah, we had plans and he
did. Yeah, he just gave the front door shoes. Shoes can tell
he's the best story. When he walked in here. Yeah, when he
walked into the back. Yeah, I use these mics, so yeah,
come on right up to the stage. That one's not to you. It's
not going here, it's going to he's got a pipe. Guys, don't
write him out. Shoes, what was it like, come come to my
mic, shoes? What was it like when uh, big keV walked in
backstage in Orlando, It's like seeing the face of God. Uh, We're
all standing there, we're setting up for the show, putting merch together,
the gift bags and all that, and all of a sudden, it's motherfucking
diesel right through the front door. And you're just saying, that's fucking Kevin
Nash. And now, I've been around Kevin Nash, like I was on
the indies for a long time, so i've you know, I know who
he is. I'm not in tim dated by Kevin Nash, but this is
still Kevin fucking Nash in a major pot, like walking into this bar in
Orlando with a line of major marks waiting to get in. Who are all
going, that's fucking Diesel? And he just comes in. He goes,
hey, where are you guys sitting me? They take him into this back
hallway that hasn't been mopped in I don't know, thirty one years. It's
the back of a restaurant. It's horrible. It is literally a hallway.
And my man just sat down everyone in the back, every single one of
us there, like bent the knee for fucking Diesel. Sir, if you
want to say anything, we will listen to it. We will eat it
up with a spoon. And that man just held court for like the entire
night until it was time to go out, and he goes, all right,
I guess I gotta go make my money now. And he just went
and did Kevin Nash shit. Because when I was seventeen, I was like
one of these guys like, oh, fuck Kevin Nash. He knows,
he does his five moves. He sucks forty year old me. Kevin Nash
is the fucking man. And all I want to do, all I want
to do is hang out with that man. He is the best. He
could club Baby Seals and I would be like, dude with Kevin Nash,
