Episode 34 - Deep dive into the Gods of Chaos pt 1 - Khorne & Tzeentch
On Today's episode we take our first of two deep dives into the ruinous powers. Our focus is on Khorne and Tzeentch. Who they are, what they represent, and their defining traits. From there we dive into their daemonic followers and a couple of their more famous units. Lastly we talk about how the Imperium (the inquisition primarily) feel about each god and the level of threat they pose to the Imperium itself.

[SPEAKER_01]: Welcome to the Forty-K-Lorecast. [SPEAKER_01]: Welcome to Forty-K-Lorecast with me John Barzati and Brad Chester. [SPEAKER_01]: This guy! [SPEAKER_01]: On today's episode, we're discussing the value of blood for the blood God and the powers of magic and deception. [SPEAKER_01]: Double episode on two of the four chaos gods before you begin. [SPEAKER_02]: Well, are we going to actually promote it? [SPEAKER_02]: Yes. [SPEAKER_01]: Please like and subscribe to the podcast. [SPEAKER_01]: for those of you who are one of them, we don't mention it enough by the way, Brad does Forty Kay coaching for any of you who are actually looking for someone to teach them how to be better at Forty Kay, how to play Forty Kay, both in the beginning level all the way up to kind of a better level. [SPEAKER_02]: That's right. [SPEAKER_02]: They're about the psychology and the betterment of the game also. [SPEAKER_01]: He's actually honestly a very very good coach, Brad, as much as I want to share talking at this moment in time. [SPEAKER_01]: And I really, really want to. [SPEAKER_01]: I have to admit, Brad's actually an exceptional player who sees the game in ways that I don't. [SPEAKER_01]: And it can be really eye-opening. [SPEAKER_01]: I have taken, I've played a game with Brad. [SPEAKER_01]: We've made a small list change and my list has gotten light years better. [SPEAKER_01]: He's available for that. [SPEAKER_01]: But also, please join our Discord. [SPEAKER_01]: There's great conversations there about lower books. [SPEAKER_01]: We also, you'll see us work in there constantly. [SPEAKER_01]: It's a great place to give us feedback on episodes and request future episodes. [SPEAKER_01]: That's actually what this one came from. [SPEAKER_01]: We had a bunch of people who reached out to us and said, hey, you guys haven't really covered the chaos gods in depth. [SPEAKER_01]: Do which I went. [SPEAKER_01]: Oops. [SPEAKER_01]: And now we're going to go. [SPEAKER_02]: We love feedback as for, again, future episodes, but also anything that we can improve anything that you think that you'd like to see us cover. [SPEAKER_02]: any all of the above. [SPEAKER_01]: Exactly. [SPEAKER_01]: We're working on the audio. [SPEAKER_02]: We're working on everything. [SPEAKER_02]: One of the biggest things is we we've been adding channels to the discord. [SPEAKER_02]: That's one of the things I'm proud about this. [SPEAKER_02]: The discord is grown so that we've added channels per your request. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: And I'd like to see more just more discord in our discord. [SPEAKER_01]: Good job. [SPEAKER_01]: All right, that's unnotice horrible horrible. [SPEAKER_01]: It wasn't even a pun topic in hand. [SPEAKER_01]: So as we discussed last time, there are four chaos gods. [SPEAKER_01]: And so we're going to do two two part episodes. [SPEAKER_01]: And we decided to do it in a way where we're going to have it. [SPEAKER_01]: So the gods who eat each other the least. [SPEAKER_01]: So today we're doing corn and zinch, which is going to do straight corn. [SPEAKER_01]: And then we're going to jump into zinch. [SPEAKER_01]: So not really going to bounce around a lot here. [SPEAKER_01]: So if you're interested in one of them, fast forward halfway through or skip the back half, one or the two. [SPEAKER_01]: So [SPEAKER_01]: Corn is the original. [SPEAKER_01]: He's the first chaos god who was ever who was born out of the warp. [SPEAKER_02]: I think he's the most base of the gods so he's the almost always not always but almost always the most powerful the gods in the forty-k realm because in the dark his in the dark the future of forty-k there is only war. [SPEAKER_02]: And that's why because corn is the god of war, the god of murder, the god of blood, the blood for the blood god. [SPEAKER_02]: And one of the biggest things about corn is also the most base. [SPEAKER_02]: So he came around first. [SPEAKER_02]: So the most base of impulse is [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and an important detail here is, like, you know, murder violence. [SPEAKER_01]: These will actually depending on their cause may actually feed, zeed, slenash, and even herbal in some cases, but not as much as corn. [SPEAKER_01]: That's one thing that I'm so about the chaos gods. [SPEAKER_01]: No action is ever fully singular and it's benefit, but [SPEAKER_01]: either the meat, the motion behind it, or in some cases as the occultist and whatnot, the declaration behind it will then promote it more or less within different gods. [SPEAKER_01]: So it's just the thing when we talk about you'll say, well, yeah, like [SPEAKER_01]: If you're a warlord and you're like conquering someone else and then burning the libraries the ground, you know, where's the interests of the nation fall into this? [SPEAKER_01]: Like, yeah, they can or a warlord to conquer a village and like, you know, slaughter all the innocents, corn like the first part of the nation like the second part. [SPEAKER_01]: It's okay to have both. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, the corn is the oldest, like Brad said, [SPEAKER_01]: He's the most base. [SPEAKER_01]: He was the first one to come to full consciousness in the warp. [SPEAKER_01]: It was during the dark ages of mankind. [SPEAKER_01]: It's becoming less time. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, depending on what you say on that. [SPEAKER_02]: I think it was by a long shot that Corin came online. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: I guess let me back that up. [SPEAKER_02]: He's the first for humanity to come online for sure. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's just the promise. [SPEAKER_01]: It's really not clear. [SPEAKER_02]: Like when they talk about the latest thing is he's the easiest of. [SPEAKER_02]: If you have three, if you have the full horseman, right? [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you're right. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm just saying like that's that's I disagree with this this writing. [SPEAKER_01]: I didn't I'm just I'm giving you guys the facts of what was written. [SPEAKER_01]: But to be the most basic is plague and decay because it's [SPEAKER_01]: literally how a mass extinction works and it had a fine. [SPEAKER_02]: You're talking about sickness. [SPEAKER_02]: I'm talking about getting a stick and hitting somebody. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, guess which one happened first. [SPEAKER_01]: I think the stick. [SPEAKER_01]: No, it was very much so that the. [SPEAKER_02]: I saw you were sick and I grabbed a stick and I hope you better enough. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: That theory of predates as multi-cell organisms. [SPEAKER_01]: by a wee bit of time just so you know, but I digress. [SPEAKER_01]: So corn though is the first one, it is the Brad's point. [SPEAKER_01]: The idea from the GW storylines, it's like a primitive, it's another primitive of the rock, and corn is pleased. [SPEAKER_01]: You know, the first civilization to come up, not through education or sanitation, but by just conquering their foes, corn. [SPEAKER_01]: He loves this thing. [SPEAKER_02]: And the thing is, as you need, for slenash, for zanech. [SPEAKER_02]: You need civilization. [SPEAKER_02]: You need a society to further their aims. [SPEAKER_02]: You don't need any of that for corn. [SPEAKER_01]: That's true. [SPEAKER_01]: Because if you look at like in white chimpanzees, we'll let go to war with each other. [SPEAKER_01]: That's what I mean, that corn would be right behind. [SPEAKER_01]: This is awesome. [SPEAKER_01]: But I'll make that chimpanzee into it. [SPEAKER_02]: You had to stick in a rock. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Corn. [SPEAKER_01]: Exactly. [SPEAKER_01]: So that is a in theory would make a lot of sense except for the fact that you double your rope corn coming into existence during duckages. [SPEAKER_01]: So, but it's going to the power of corn. [SPEAKER_01]: So, corn and actually, I think, Nurgle are the simplest of the gods to please. [SPEAKER_01]: Mame, burn, kill. [SPEAKER_01]: That is what corn puts. [SPEAKER_02]: Well, we have to go to corn because corn isn't just the god of victory. [SPEAKER_02]: get one is the god of battle conquest, you know, everything corn doesn't care if you win corn just wants their battle for two gladiators fighting in a pit corn loves it. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: He just have a favorite he made change sides during the battle. [SPEAKER_01]: I like that move. [SPEAKER_01]: This is now my champion. [SPEAKER_01]: He actually is powering them each of them. [SPEAKER_02]: Like you've seen the little bit more brave than you did. [SPEAKER_02]: So now I'm, I mean, he's not my champion, but, but I was your champion, not anymore. [SPEAKER_01]: Not anymore. [SPEAKER_01]: And so every single drop of blood that spills and now we have to be, I want to be Kevler in violence feeds corn. [SPEAKER_01]: The reason to say in violence is corn does not like needless slaughter. [SPEAKER_01]: A, you know, a war band that runs through a village of like women and children, kills them all, that's slenish. [SPEAKER_01]: Corn may actually corn in theory might shake away. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, he would possibly he would take away your treatments. [SPEAKER_02]: It's also sacrifices that don't have a purpose or don't have any don't have that anything provided behind that. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, there is a motion like blood for the blood God is not simply blood. [SPEAKER_01]: It is [SPEAKER_01]: I was about to make India hit jams in temple of doom reference, but I guess that's just, we're gonna lose everybody if we go that far back. [SPEAKER_01]: But corn's whole persona is about worthy battle, worthy slaughter, worthy blood. [SPEAKER_01]: Even if you're cutting your own head off to please corn, it is because I'm trying to raise a blood therster to create more war. [SPEAKER_01]: He's not just self-mutilation for the sake of, I don't know, [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, because I'm golf. [SPEAKER_01]: So as a result of this, corn is actually might be one of the most insidious by accident. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, him and Nurgle. [SPEAKER_01]: Again, I would be because actually, no, no, it's corn. [SPEAKER_01]: It's not Nurgle. [SPEAKER_01]: You have to reach out to Nurgle. [SPEAKER_01]: So it is corn. [SPEAKER_01]: He's in city. [SPEAKER_02]: Corn doesn't really require a reach out for him or you. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you just, you doing you makes corn. [SPEAKER_02]: You trying to be [SPEAKER_02]: A conquering Lord, you're trying to be better at battle. [SPEAKER_02]: You're trying to win the fight in the arena. [SPEAKER_02]: Whatever it is. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: That's a great point because I was thinking about that. [SPEAKER_01]: The thing about corn is, if I'm a warrior fighting, I mean, I even know corn exists. [SPEAKER_01]: Corn may not even be speaking to my ear or if he is, I don't hear it. [SPEAKER_01]: But me doing things, corn would actually still impue me with power. [SPEAKER_02]: because you just have to have the want to be better. [SPEAKER_02]: The want to win, the want to conquer. [SPEAKER_02]: Yep. [SPEAKER_02]: The want to spill the most blood in this battle. [SPEAKER_01]: Exactly. [SPEAKER_01]: Exactly. [SPEAKER_01]: All of those things. [SPEAKER_01]: That's all corn cares about. [SPEAKER_01]: So corn is an interesting God because he's actually providing boons to people who [SPEAKER_01]: don't want them from him or no he exists. [SPEAKER_01]: And he does not care. [SPEAKER_01]: He is just, and by the way, we're going to use word he a lot. [SPEAKER_01]: It's obviously these creatures have no gender. [SPEAKER_01]: Just to point that out. [SPEAKER_01]: Like it's, uh, uh, like, like, duh. [SPEAKER_01]: Like, duh. [SPEAKER_01]: But because like you'll hear like, I refer to Slenex as a, as a she a lot, but some people, but it's actually technically he who cares exactly who cares. [SPEAKER_01]: But anyway, so, I mean, you can imagine some of these scenarios where [SPEAKER_01]: Corn gets involved under high of Warband, you know, fighting through pit fighters who are like, you know, fight against everybody or help a squad of catacent jungle fighters. [SPEAKER_01]: They're fighting tiered, it's with chain swords. [SPEAKER_01]: Corn sees this and embues them with more power. [SPEAKER_01]: The towel? [SPEAKER_01]: No. [SPEAKER_01]: Corn, corn does not like ranged combat. [SPEAKER_02]: He doesn't. [SPEAKER_02]: I just love that. [SPEAKER_02]: I just look over the notes and I just saw all of the empty samples. [SPEAKER_02]: And then, of course, Tal John with Tal Nassury. [SPEAKER_01]: No, because maybe it's maybe the crew. [SPEAKER_01]: He might like the crew because they at least will hit something, but corn does not like ranged combat. [SPEAKER_01]: If you've ever played into any corn army, the shooting phase is really great. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's like, and yeah, I'm a charge now. [SPEAKER_01]: What are the blood angels? [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, again, corn worshippers. [SPEAKER_01]: The fun one, one of my favorite concepts would be a gray night squad fighting zincher slimesh. [SPEAKER_01]: I think the agents will protect you. [SPEAKER_01]: But again, the corn wants to help them, and not because he wants to corrupt them. [SPEAKER_01]: A corn is corn is needed. [SPEAKER_02]: He just wants to put down slenesh. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, he wants slenesh corrupt. [SPEAKER_01]: A lot of the other gods want to corrupt. [SPEAKER_01]: Corn just wants more and more chubby. [SPEAKER_01]: This is why like corn in Nurgle. [SPEAKER_01]: Because their end game is less selfish and more just I have a purpose in this universe. [SPEAKER_01]: And I want more of that purpose. [SPEAKER_02]: in the thing that they're more base and a thing. [SPEAKER_02]: It's easy on that. [SPEAKER_02]: There are also more true. [SPEAKER_01]: No, the thing about corn is people make deals with corn and that they very much so do. [SPEAKER_01]: But a lot of corn's influence is unknown. [SPEAKER_01]: You just feel stronger. [SPEAKER_01]: You feel more involved. [SPEAKER_01]: It's because you are. [SPEAKER_02]: But you also just win more sometimes and you don't know why. [SPEAKER_01]: You just stronger. [SPEAKER_02]: People think you're just lucky here because your blows land true more often. [SPEAKER_02]: Your opponents blows sometimes fall awry. [SPEAKER_02]: You know what I mean? [SPEAKER_02]: They just slightly miss you. [SPEAKER_02]: Remember that time that you didn't get the, you almost got a killing blow on you. [SPEAKER_01]: Yep. [SPEAKER_01]: And you just docked in the last second or they hit a tree right next to your head. [SPEAKER_01]: One thing that we went talk about with each chaos god is just a really quick one is numbers and colors. [SPEAKER_01]: So corn's numbers beat. [SPEAKER_01]: These don't matter. [SPEAKER_01]: Except when you play the game. [SPEAKER_02]: Whoa, whoa, whoa. [SPEAKER_01]: They don't. [SPEAKER_01]: It never comes. [SPEAKER_02]: Slow your role, John. [SPEAKER_02]: Corn eight. [SPEAKER_02]: Nurgle seven. [SPEAKER_02]: So next six. [SPEAKER_02]: Zean't nine. [SPEAKER_02]: These are a real thing. [SPEAKER_01]: Don't you say they have no purpose. [SPEAKER_02]: They have a hundred percent of a purpose. [SPEAKER_01]: Really? [SPEAKER_01]: Who are the eighth Legion? [SPEAKER_02]: Don't eat the eighth legion. [SPEAKER_01]: It was the night lords. [SPEAKER_02]: I just know that the number of corn is eight. [SPEAKER_02]: And it is a sacred number. [SPEAKER_02]: You do multiply this off it. [SPEAKER_02]: If you want to. [SPEAKER_01]: Okay. [SPEAKER_01]: Fine. [SPEAKER_01]: In the horse heresy, the eighth legion were the night lords. [SPEAKER_01]: The sixteenth legion. [SPEAKER_01]: We're the winner. [SPEAKER_01]: You know, this is why you need to be such a heresy, John. [SPEAKER_01]: It was I don't understand why they do it. [SPEAKER_01]: Is this random thing? [SPEAKER_01]: We're like, oh, corn has a love of the number eight. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, so world leaders were the eighth legion. [SPEAKER_02]: look no it doesn't matter the legion it matters the number of corn my friend yeah and also why's that to be like take your eight circles why do you have to be too dice why can't I just have it all one dice [SPEAKER_01]: Also throwing that one out there. [SPEAKER_01]: All right. [SPEAKER_01]: Colors wise corn has two main colors blood red brass and brass and the reason it's brass is for those who don't have brass brass is a very old like metal from if you listen to the humanity before we really work with gold and whatnot you saw a lot of brass and so [SPEAKER_01]: brass and red. [SPEAKER_01]: First off, they look awesome together. [SPEAKER_01]: That's a really great color scheme. [SPEAKER_01]: But the brass is meant to be this like almost dirty metal. [SPEAKER_01]: It's hard. [SPEAKER_01]: You can actually kill with it. [SPEAKER_01]: Blood metal. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, the blood metal. [SPEAKER_01]: You can do a lot more with it. [SPEAKER_01]: So that's why it's brass. [SPEAKER_02]: It is demons come down with that. [SPEAKER_02]: That is their armor. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: The armor is a brass. [SPEAKER_01]: It's brass. [SPEAKER_01]: And you've also got like they also see some yellows, some silvers. [SPEAKER_01]: If I'm, actually, I'm much more partial to Nurgle and from paying a scheme, but I will say people who paint corn arm as well, who they are beautiful. [SPEAKER_01]: Thank you, Bob. [SPEAKER_01]: Even though the colors look, you see for this and it's like it's just red and brass. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but it looks good. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: put some white highlights on that. [SPEAKER_01]: Looks sweet. [SPEAKER_01]: As we talked about in the last cast, the warp at this stage has taken form. [SPEAKER_01]: And so there's actually lands within the warp. [SPEAKER_01]: Corn has a region seen Chazarik and slenesh in there for everybody. [SPEAKER_02]: So this last time, and I want to throw this up there for everybody to yell at me if I don't. [SPEAKER_02]: The warp is still a twisting, untamed landscape, but that landscape has [SPEAKER_02]: a four-part topography. [SPEAKER_02]: Yep. [SPEAKER_02]: For the most part. [SPEAKER_01]: There's a map. [SPEAKER_01]: If you want to see what corn's map looks like, did you see Lord of the Rings? [SPEAKER_01]: Because GW didn't even try on this one. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's more not. [SPEAKER_02]: It is pure. [SPEAKER_02]: It's not even close. [SPEAKER_01]: It's just straight up more. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, when I say if you saw Lord of the Rings, I'm going to get meaner. [SPEAKER_01]: If you read Lord of the Rings, it's identical to Mordor. [SPEAKER_01]: It is [SPEAKER_02]: Not just is. [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, he's affected. [SPEAKER_02]: He also to be a corn looks like so. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: This is a dead rip and it's fine. [SPEAKER_01]: It's you're dead ripping the greatest sci-fi series in history. [SPEAKER_02]: So I mean, it's going to. [SPEAKER_01]: So again, if you're going to be more embarrassed if they rip off like battlefielders. [SPEAKER_02]: That's going to hurt myself like on that one. [SPEAKER_02]: Ah, that movie was bad. [SPEAKER_01]: So is he? [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, like the movie was bad. [SPEAKER_01]: The human being was worse. [SPEAKER_01]: So corn's round is a rum of fire and blood. [SPEAKER_01]: So which doesn't really mean anything. [SPEAKER_01]: It just means it's a giant wasteland that has rivers that run through it that are apparently more door. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, it's surrounded by, I do live. [SPEAKER_01]: It's surrounded by volcanoes that are always erupting. [SPEAKER_01]: Also, there's Mount Doom. [SPEAKER_02]: And it's also about rivers of lava. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, rivers of lava and rivers of blood. [SPEAKER_01]: I refer to his magma because I like what hot magma because I wanted to put some magma in here. [SPEAKER_01]: The Volcanoes are also sort of Volcanoes rim the outer edge of this, of this land. [SPEAKER_01]: And they're not even like tapered, like the Volcanoes we have in the earth. [SPEAKER_01]: They're just pointy scrags that if you try to climb, you'd fall down and die. [SPEAKER_02]: So, but also they didn't rock down you and you're dying. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and they're also always erupting. [SPEAKER_01]: So it's not really an overly enticing place. [SPEAKER_02]: Also, you'll get killed if you try to. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, and that's what gets better. [SPEAKER_01]: So, corns, again, corn is the god of battle. [SPEAKER_01]: He's the god of conflict. [SPEAKER_01]: So, obviously, his realm is built for conflict in battle. [SPEAKER_01]: And, you know, he's wrong. [SPEAKER_01]: He doesn't have a lot of cover. [SPEAKER_01]: No, it's just wide open planes that are, he doesn't have it, it's fortified. [SPEAKER_01]: You have to make up what you get to the fortification, but that's all that you go from the volcanoes in the end on the edge. [SPEAKER_01]: If you get past the volcanoes, you've got flat planes of fire, magma, and blood with beasts of corn running all around them, fighting each other unless a common foe arrives in which case. [SPEAKER_02]: I think what you meant to say was an intoxicating horror. [SPEAKER_01]: Sure. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: Good to hear, Brad. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Although I will laugh at this. [SPEAKER_01]: I didn't point this out from playing Forty K. You know who likes wide open battlefields a lot. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, the shooting army is not the melee armies. [SPEAKER_01]: It's like, if your entire thing is we like doing glorious combat, you should have to cover. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's a bummer when the horse shoot you. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's like, it's like, a lot. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I'll give to how this piece of credit. [SPEAKER_01]: If there's no cover, towel or incredible towel will win the engagement and coins won't. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yeah, they do great. [SPEAKER_01]: But in the center of it, there's a couple of little bits. [SPEAKER_01]: One is a lake of blood and fire, which is just a giant lake of demons, writing demon dragons. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, but it's, and it's, well, well, you're not doing this justice. [SPEAKER_01]: Let's do this. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: So one, it looks, if someone could do a panorama of this on a display board, it would be bonkersville. [SPEAKER_02]: Everything empties into this giant lake of bubbling bloodslash. [SPEAKER_01]: It looks like lava, but it's actually blood. [SPEAKER_02]: Yes, it's like liquid blood magma, whatever. [SPEAKER_01]: But it's also, yeah, blood supplies. [SPEAKER_01]: It's like liquid blood. [SPEAKER_01]: Okay. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm tracking, but [SPEAKER_02]: All I'm saying is things get reborn from here. [SPEAKER_02]: Like you, you have all of these awesome creatures. [SPEAKER_02]: All I'm saying is a blood therster jumping on top of a giant dragon coming out of a lake of that then. [SPEAKER_01]: Magnificent. [SPEAKER_01]: There's something else that kills them. [SPEAKER_01]: And after they kill it, the thing falls in the lake of blood is then resurrected by corn comes back out of the lake of blood. [SPEAKER_01]: And it's an endless battle on this lake of blood of flying dragons and blood therster. [SPEAKER_02]: This thing literally says, [SPEAKER_02]: at sea two in a row. [SPEAKER_02]: My letter at least. [SPEAKER_02]: But this thing also says vahala sucking. [SPEAKER_02]: This is this is the real deal. [SPEAKER_02]: Have any space walls been to corn's layer? [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, they would never come back. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, he would just be like, well, it's a mistake. [SPEAKER_02]: This is so much better. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, we're staying right guys. [SPEAKER_01]: Like look, we have to get back to the aquarium. [SPEAKER_01]: Prospero blows. [SPEAKER_01]: This is amazing. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, this place raw. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, this is my favorite place. [SPEAKER_02]: This epic boss combat. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so I get that I just jumped off of a dragon to kill another dragon and then jumped to another dragon to hit like I literally forgot. [SPEAKER_02]: Like bloodthirsty was riding the dragon. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm never going home. [SPEAKER_01]: This is my I live here now. [SPEAKER_02]: This place. [SPEAKER_02]: Woo. [SPEAKER_02]: Yes. [SPEAKER_02]: As far for combat, corns realm. [SPEAKER_02]: Pretty premium. [SPEAKER_02]: Oh my god, but off of this just off the center of the wake of blood is the brass set about, which is where we have to go into the description of this because depending on what you read and either has an infinite sea of skulls that you can never cross. [SPEAKER_02]: Or it has panoramic view that looks cool. [SPEAKER_01]: It's called the skulls. [SPEAKER_01]: It's got a lot of skulls. [SPEAKER_01]: And I view it as a very large mound of skulls, which then leads to the brass walls, which are a kilometer high brass wall that stands, it sticks up out of the sea of skulls. [SPEAKER_02]: And then what do you find inside there? [SPEAKER_01]: More skulls. [SPEAKER_01]: because he corn sitting on top of him because corn is sitting on a throne of skulls. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, it's a sort of brass on top of an endless scale of skulls of skulls. [SPEAKER_02]: Black with the blood guys are, it's, say they're, they're, come on now, say the thought for the blood God skulls for the skulls. [SPEAKER_01]: Because what happens is as a follower of corn in the mortal realm, when I kill something, I could dedicate its death to corn. [SPEAKER_01]: And when I do so, it's skull will appear in corn's life. [SPEAKER_02]: Because I have some infinity. [SPEAKER_01]: It's always growing, I guess it's getting taller. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't care how these physics work, it's on a real place. [SPEAKER_02]: So, I have a warp exist because things can, the laws of physics do not apply to the immaterial. [SPEAKER_02]: Thank you very much. [SPEAKER_01]: Exactly. [SPEAKER_01]: So in the center of all this, though, is corn. [SPEAKER_01]: And corn is actually one of the better described. [SPEAKER_01]: God's of chaos. [SPEAKER_01]: Um, Z jobBC is the least. [SPEAKER_02]: Corn is actually one of the more terrifying. [SPEAKER_02]: That's why you know, because also there's the threat of corn just showing up in the material world if enough shit went down. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: like he's already has a, this is my set form. [SPEAKER_02]: I will if enough things went in my way. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: I'll just be there. [SPEAKER_02]: I'll just appear and then what? [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: Exactly. [SPEAKER_02]: What? [SPEAKER_02]: Feel free to bring whoever you want or whatever you want. [SPEAKER_01]: Corn is described as a this impossibly large creature with overlapping plate mail made of brass and a face of pure rage. [SPEAKER_01]: Awesome, so us on. [SPEAKER_02]: One of the bigger things about this is if you come into the presence of corn, you are immediately no matter what. [SPEAKER_02]: enveloped by his range, so you now feel that way. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, all the gods have that. [SPEAKER_01]: All the gods, Nergos wants to let fun. [SPEAKER_01]: We'll get there next episode, but it's a little bit fun, but all the gods, if you're in their presence, they're most [SPEAKER_01]: You know, Premiere feature hits you like a ton of bricks and it just can't resist. [SPEAKER_02]: That's just what happens. [SPEAKER_02]: Well, you're there in when not even just the God itself, but when the God's in his realm. [SPEAKER_01]: Some of our listeners have been playing the game for a lot longer. [SPEAKER_01]: You are correct. [SPEAKER_01]: Corn used to be a beast man. [SPEAKER_01]: That's actually in the original. [SPEAKER_01]: He was viewed as kind of having horns and a head. [SPEAKER_01]: If you don't know what beast man is, now that his age is sick, more anymore. [SPEAKER_01]: Do soon. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that's hard for me. [SPEAKER_02]: That's hard for Brock. [SPEAKER_02]: That's not cool. [SPEAKER_01]: No, it was not cool in evaluating a freaking army. [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, also true. [SPEAKER_01]: That was just gold worlds. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I think you're playing old rules, I guess. [SPEAKER_01]: So, yeah, but he's had a few different, obviously. [SPEAKER_01]: He's effectively the ball rock. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, well he's the ball rock. [SPEAKER_01]: He's sore on it. [SPEAKER_01]: It moves around depending on the addition you're playing. [SPEAKER_01]: True story and it's in a game you're playing. [SPEAKER_01]: Like he's got different. [SPEAKER_01]: But in an unfinished whole world, yeah, he's covering his face. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: He's Conan asked covered in something. [SPEAKER_01]: You know what I realized we didn't mention and we probably should. [SPEAKER_01]: The gods of chaos overlap. [SPEAKER_01]: Warhammer fantasy, which is gone and now is back. [SPEAKER_01]: And Age of Sigma. [SPEAKER_01]: It is the same models. [SPEAKER_01]: It is the same gods. [SPEAKER_01]: So I just realized we never covered that in the last episode. [SPEAKER_01]: And I was like editing this in. [SPEAKER_01]: So I'm doing it now. [SPEAKER_01]: There you all. [SPEAKER_01]: If you play in a side note like there's some of the extra the sigma models are way better than some of the forty-day models. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm a Jesus Christ, but if you do play it just understand that it's the exact same court. [SPEAKER_01]: So a lot of times if you go to buy chaos demon kits, you'll order them. [SPEAKER_01]: It'll probably also age a sigma on it. [SPEAKER_01]: That's still a forty-day kit because it's the same world. [SPEAKER_01]: If you've already played old world, the bases are different, but still a GW model. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but it's the same story the same God the corn of Sigma or the corn of fantasy is the same as the corn of forty-day Which makes that timeline really really fun? [SPEAKER_01]: So, but GW did it before Marvel did, guys. [SPEAKER_00]: True story. [SPEAKER_00]: We'll be right back after a quick break. [SPEAKER_01]: So, next to Corn does have a kind of, is a super sword. [SPEAKER_01]: So what I would call it. [SPEAKER_01]: To giant, to him sword, known as the Warbringer, the Warbringer, the end of all things. [SPEAKER_01]: Normally, I wouldn't give a crap about this. [SPEAKER_01]: But apparently, this sword is so powerful that he actually could cut a hole in the immateriality. [SPEAKER_02]: That's my thing is that for me, he's the most terrifying in time, boss. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: Because of the fact that he already has the ability [SPEAKER_02]: to fracture reality. [SPEAKER_01]: Yes. [SPEAKER_01]: And the question is, does he know it? [SPEAKER_02]: That one, I don't. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that because one of the questions. [SPEAKER_01]: So followers of corn, I think we all kind of know [SPEAKER_01]: world leaders. [SPEAKER_02]: Some are easy, though, because of the fact that we already talked about, let's just do this now. [SPEAKER_02]: First off, you have trade allegiance. [SPEAKER_02]: You're always going to have any galaxy that is at war, carry the one, one hundred percent of the time. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: You're going to get followers of the guy that can make you better at battle when all you do is fight battles. [SPEAKER_01]: No, Harry, it's pretty simple. [SPEAKER_01]: So he's got his main retubing outside of his demons are, of course, the world leaders who have given their souls over him via anger on, but he also has war bands and war bands are a little bit different. [SPEAKER_01]: When we, I think it said, I want to draw this distinction early. [SPEAKER_01]: If you've given your soul to corn and corn owns you, [SPEAKER_01]: He embues you with different powers. [SPEAKER_01]: So a, like, I don't know, bizarre. [SPEAKER_01]: So berserkers are imbued with a power of corn. [SPEAKER_02]: In the thing is, as though with poor bands, you can have after the, after the fracturing of the world leaders, after carn, effectively fractured the workers. [SPEAKER_02]: You have [SPEAKER_02]: Zirkers and New Zirkers because people do put themselves body and soul to corn and you get new berserkers. [SPEAKER_01]: But you also get just regular chaos base marines because this is what Aramon was it. [SPEAKER_01]: Aramon was not with the world leaders when they found him. [SPEAKER_01]: He was with his day war band of corn. [SPEAKER_01]: So they were like they weren't imbued with corn there, but they were fans. [SPEAKER_02]: Well, their followers, they were followers that were abused by corn because again, if all you do is fight, which a lot of the time is what's going on, especially if you're a space green on either side, you're loyalist or cast, you're looking for an advantage. [SPEAKER_02]: Especially if you're living, I don't know, in the eye of tear slash the rift. [SPEAKER_01]: It's not a great spot. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, you, you, you might have to fist to cuffsocational. [SPEAKER_01]: Every now and then you might have to fight just knowing it out there. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's possible. [SPEAKER_02]: So I'm probably going to look for an advantage and that's how you get war bands of corn. [SPEAKER_02]: And the thing is weirdly enough, those make a lot of sense. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, they actually make the most sense of all of them. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: The people that make actually good sense again are cultists of corn. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Most of these I refer to them as the least subtle of all the cult. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Like you know when there's a corn cultists. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: When you when you show up and you see jackals. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: It's like what in the thing is these are just bands of [SPEAKER_02]: people trying to murder somebody else. [SPEAKER_02]: And again, I'm looking for a couple of PDs to make it happen. [SPEAKER_01]: And I'll be telling you what, have cities and then feudal workloads. [SPEAKER_01]: They guys do great thing. [SPEAKER_02]: I don't even understand how the high cities aren't. [SPEAKER_02]: Fifty percent corn. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: In the first place. [SPEAKER_01]: Because there's still some. [SPEAKER_02]: Or the under city. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, the under city is pure corn at this point. [SPEAKER_02]: It's just bad. [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, the royal rumble every day all day. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and what happens is just pies we said before, what corn loves to do is he loves a champion. [SPEAKER_01]: So if you're in the under city of a hive and you and your three buddies go start rating and conquering land, corn may just reach out to you. [SPEAKER_01]: But at the same time, if you're, you and your three buddies are looking to get a leg up, there also might be some weird priest around the corner who also will say, well, I can help make a deal with you. [SPEAKER_01]: and I can help you get a hold of these and we can grow. [SPEAKER_01]: So, cultists and corn. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, there's a lot of them guys. [SPEAKER_01]: Also cool. [SPEAKER_01]: I think what this news shows up. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: Also the fact that corn isn't super worried about whether or not you die in your attack. [SPEAKER_02]: So if you go down in a glorious pile of gunshots into your face. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, and we're going to get this was zinch, but like Zinch has a plan. [SPEAKER_01]: He's got deception. [SPEAKER_01]: So if you, if the inquisession captures devotees of corn, what are they going to tell them? [SPEAKER_01]: that we were going to punch a guy in the head blood for the blood God skulls of the skull from what well what's the grand scheme here we're trying to unravel this great mystery uh... i told you i was going to punch like that yeah i i have a chain sword and i was going to hit that guy a jane sword like that can use the guy with a chainsword that i'm standing across from i was going to hit him with my chainsword yeah this seemed this seemed fun [SPEAKER_01]: The next one I'm going to dive into is kind of the key demons of corn. [SPEAKER_01]: So all the gods of chaos, corn has specific demons that he manifests. [SPEAKER_01]: And his demons are the coolest. [SPEAKER_01]: They do look the best. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: I was thinking through. [SPEAKER_01]: So we'll start with the ones that you see the most bloodletters. [SPEAKER_02]: This is the battle line version of them. [SPEAKER_02]: This is also the most plentiful. [SPEAKER_02]: This is what you get when you have a battle that includes the forces of corn, one hundred percent. [SPEAKER_02]: You're going to get bloodletters in the forty cave game today. [SPEAKER_02]: You won't see bloodletters, but in the lore, you will get a detailed definition. [SPEAKER_01]: They just made the first pointless. [SPEAKER_01]: But bipedal creature all read big teeth, giant brass horns. [SPEAKER_01]: Soaring a makeshift sword. [SPEAKER_02]: So it's and or an axe and they stand both. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, not now. [SPEAKER_01]: It's all just a point to you thing. [SPEAKER_02]: And the thing is is that this is the the soldier. [SPEAKER_02]: This is the foot line soldier and they they haven't literally. [SPEAKER_01]: There we go. [SPEAKER_02]: Infinite them on and I'm using it correctly of this. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, there is a not there's a non stop amount of energy that corn can pull from to make more and more bloodletters. [SPEAKER_01]: But there is a level up from a blood letter, and that's called a blood crusher. [SPEAKER_01]: These are my favorites. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I didn't talk about juggernauts, but just a juggernauts real quick. [SPEAKER_01]: So a juggernaut is a demon bull. [SPEAKER_02]: That has flames coming from its nostrils. [SPEAKER_01]: It is so... It's also made of metal. [SPEAKER_01]: For some reason, it's made of brass. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it has demon engine. [SPEAKER_01]: And a bloodletter will ride it. [SPEAKER_01]: And that's called a blood crush. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and that's why it's freaking awesome. [SPEAKER_01]: So cool, aesthetically amazing. [SPEAKER_02]: It looks awesome. [SPEAKER_01]: Rules. [SPEAKER_02]: Rules have been okay for a long time. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: They've always been okay. [SPEAKER_02]: I also own the metal ones, which if I got mad at my opponent, get throw it out, I'm not pretty sure. [SPEAKER_01]: It would leave a bruise. [SPEAKER_02]: It would be, it would be a crime. [SPEAKER_01]: Those are heavy. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it would definitely leave a bruise. [SPEAKER_01]: From there, I'm moving to the greater demons. [SPEAKER_01]: And this really just one, because everyone just has one good or demon. [SPEAKER_01]: It's a blood therster. [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, there's some serious mojo with that, because we've had some great, great, named bloodthirsty. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: Big K that fought sanguinists, multiple times. [SPEAKER_02]: But you've had some great stories, because the bloodthirsty are [SPEAKER_02]: rage incarnate. [SPEAKER_02]: They're the direct will of corn. [SPEAKER_01]: These are raged and his layer may not be that steaming with wings that carries a whip and an axe or a sword depends in a thing is a model never done. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, these are yes, exactly. [SPEAKER_02]: And the thing is is that these are just [SPEAKER_02]: they can make the entire battle different for both sides. [SPEAKER_02]: We'll talk about Scarborough had Scarborough's aura is so big that he used to affect everyone on the table. [SPEAKER_02]: So he's amazing. [SPEAKER_01]: The purpose of a greater demon is to lead the forces for corn in the material. [SPEAKER_01]: Because that's bread said, corn in theory could make it into the material, but he'd have to manifest himself with all of his power. [SPEAKER_01]: So instead of doing that, what the gods of chaos do is they manifest their greater demons into there. [SPEAKER_01]: And when you manifest [SPEAKER_01]: A blood therster, it is not a great day for a lot of people. [SPEAKER_01]: Because this is, it is not only rage incarnate, it is battle incarnate. [SPEAKER_01]: They are incredible in their strength, their speed, their everything. [SPEAKER_01]: They can, they can slay entire legions if they need to. [SPEAKER_01]: And we'll even talk about one now. [SPEAKER_01]: So a good example is Kabanda. [SPEAKER_01]: So for those who are there for a horse heresy, Kabanda, or Bandha, one of them, [SPEAKER_01]: was the demon who exposed the blood, the blood, the red thirst and blood angels and almost killed Sanguidius. [SPEAKER_01]: He did do the look itself as before he did it. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, he did. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, later, the second meeting didn't go. [SPEAKER_01]: Did. [SPEAKER_01]: For coming on that. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Didn't go. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: Didn't go well. [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, sometimes you break your back, sometimes you know. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, the synchronized deathfully took out round two, but it's a good story to talk about how powerful Kalbanda is because he took out almost the entire blighting to Legion and their primarq single-handedly. [SPEAKER_02]: in the, sorry, blood angels, but he also single-handedly turned the tide in the devastation of ball. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's actually one of my favorite stories about him is, and we haven't covered this yet, but when the tyrannids come into the galaxy, they hit ball, which is the home planet for the blood angels. [SPEAKER_01]: And the tyrannids are not having a tough battle here, if I'm being perfectly honest. [SPEAKER_01]: They're getting great growth. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, the theory's just running through the blood angels. [SPEAKER_01]: Kabanda sees this and he had claimed that he would be the one to end the blood angels. [SPEAKER_02]: Such a crazy story. [SPEAKER_01]: So he shows up to start killing Ternets because he said no one gets to kill blood angels, but mainly so he and a few million blood letters fight off the Ternet invasion. [SPEAKER_02]: To which is that this is another thing that we have to talk about. [SPEAKER_01]: He destroyed high feet level. [SPEAKER_01]: This is the big by himself. [SPEAKER_02]: This is the big deal of corn though, because this is a battle that wasn't dedicated to corn either way, but battle was happening. [SPEAKER_02]: How much battle enough battle that it made a demonic incursion possible because of all the fighting, all the blood, all the, you know, the war that was going on. [SPEAKER_01]: And then that demonic incursion created so much more bloodlet that it actually fed itself. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, this was, we haven't touched on them yet. [SPEAKER_01]: I understand, but those who know here, and it's, this was high feet, high fleet Leviathan, which was the highest, the biggest high fleet got just record. [SPEAKER_01]: by Kabanda and a bunch of bloodlers saving the blood angels. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, you could go kill them later. [SPEAKER_02]: To get the over buying credit, oopsie, I did not see a million years ago. [SPEAKER_01]: This was not, this was not planned. [SPEAKER_01]: Another one that I actually, if I look at, if I ranked all the corn demons and with my favorites, scar brands my favorite. [SPEAKER_01]: And I just love the story of Chris Scarborough. [SPEAKER_02]: We're talking about origin of Scarborough. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: Zech whispered into the year of Scarborough that Scarborough was powerful enough to take on corn. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: So Scarborough was a blood therester wing blood therester because they all are. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: Except for him now came up and swung his mighty axe. [SPEAKER_02]: and hit corn in the foot and left a tiny mark. [SPEAKER_02]: And corn was not, ain't trying to hear that, say. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: And picked Scar Brad up in through him for eight days. [SPEAKER_01]: These days through the immaterial. [SPEAKER_02]: which ripped off his wings because he was mocked dying through the warp. [SPEAKER_02]: And then Scarbread was unbelievably pissed that this happened and has been trying to show everybody how awesome he is ever since. [SPEAKER_02]: Not even the showing people is awesome. [SPEAKER_02]: He's just been so [SPEAKER_02]: angry about. [SPEAKER_01]: He just angry and shows up. [SPEAKER_01]: And he's just he's effectively rampaging across the galaxy. [SPEAKER_01]: He's a maniac. [SPEAKER_01]: Looney tunes Tasmanian double star in the thing. [SPEAKER_01]: He just shows up places. [SPEAKER_02]: I know what Scarbren's rules are now, but Scarbren's. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, that's terrible now. [SPEAKER_02]: Yes, but Scarbren Jews used to be. [SPEAKER_02]: He gave extra attacks to both anybody. [SPEAKER_02]: Anyone in his presence. [SPEAKER_02]: In his presence. [SPEAKER_02]: Did matter, friends, foes. [SPEAKER_01]: You also would have any friends. [SPEAKER_02]: Yes. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: Anybody that was around him got caught up in his rage, which is awesome of a story. [SPEAKER_02]: Because his car brand is effectively mentally broken. [SPEAKER_01]: He's just, but being just his presence created rage in your inside of you could not stop it. [SPEAKER_02]: It was just you got caught up in the whirlwind of his rage. [SPEAKER_02]: It was crazy. [SPEAKER_01]: Yes, Scarborough is awesome. [SPEAKER_01]: Models really good too. [SPEAKER_02]: And always has one. [SPEAKER_01]: Cornjack good models. [SPEAKER_01]: Corn has really, really good models. [SPEAKER_01]: But I think of the demons. [SPEAKER_01]: You can do amazing things with keepers and with what's the two-headed bird or change or change. [SPEAKER_01]: They well painted those are incredible, but the line those lines in general, like me, the corn line is perfect all the way through. [SPEAKER_01]: It's not a percentage, okay. [SPEAKER_01]: Let's talk about corn and the Imperium, because it's corn, that's kind of what matters right now. [SPEAKER_01]: Do I see it from a lower point? [SPEAKER_02]: The thing is that sorry, Imperium lovers have the Imperium that's keeping corn going. [SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, but war is the business and business is good. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, in this we talked about some formal in the last cast a little bit. [SPEAKER_01]: One of the things about corn is [SPEAKER_01]: If you're the Imperium, and we'll do the Raggedan invasion, right? [SPEAKER_01]: We'll take those before Horace Heresy, but it's a good example. [SPEAKER_01]: You've got this massive war, or actually help the Leviathan coming in anywhere, not town. [SPEAKER_01]: Got town. [SPEAKER_01]: Anywhere that the Imperium is fighting? [SPEAKER_01]: corn is going to see it. [SPEAKER_01]: And you're right, maybe he's not able to infuse gray nights with his power. [SPEAKER_01]: But he's a catacent jungle fighter. [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, even if they don't need, even if they don't know it, unless you're actually trained to fight against warp influence, you will not even know that you're getting a boost to your power. [SPEAKER_02]: And I'm sorry, if I'm a cat kitchen, younger fighter, and I'm fighting off whatever. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, a tyranny warrior who's twice my size and I get has twice the arms and I and I get a little lucky. [SPEAKER_02]: I'm a little I seem to be a little fast or I seem to dodge just a little bit better. [SPEAKER_02]: I'm not worrying about where the hell that came from. [SPEAKER_01]: And corn's not reaching out to him saying, hey, I took care of you. [SPEAKER_01]: I just cut a toe off for me. [SPEAKER_01]: Like, no, just like, cool. [SPEAKER_01]: Can you go do that again? [SPEAKER_01]: Thanks for fighting. [SPEAKER_01]: Thanks for fighting. [SPEAKER_01]: There's more tear and it's over there. [SPEAKER_01]: What do you say? [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: And the thing is, again, you don't have to. [SPEAKER_02]: go out and say, I worship corn. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, just have to fight. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: And so this also this creates kind of a challenge obviously for the Imperium and the Inquisition. [SPEAKER_01]: Because the Inquisition obviously needs to stay about all influence of chaos. [SPEAKER_02]: It's impossible. [SPEAKER_01]: So what do you do? [SPEAKER_01]: Can't. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, it's more funny. [SPEAKER_01]: What do you do when you have a frontline force that's winning? [SPEAKER_01]: And it's like, well, [SPEAKER_01]: Do we want to go, we'll pretend it's guardsmen, not space marines, because they're the more expendable. [SPEAKER_01]: But if we've got a frontline of guardsmen who's just really wrecking shop on some necrons, do we need them? [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, do we need them because we realize that corn is favoring them? [SPEAKER_01]: They're not worshiping corn, but he's favoring them. [SPEAKER_01]: This is why corn in some ways is the most insidious part of the Imperium's challenges. [SPEAKER_02]: because you can't do because they're forever. [SPEAKER_02]: The Imperium is forever at battle from legitimately everywhere. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: The first point is to court is effectively being fed. [SPEAKER_01]: No, not everywhere. [SPEAKER_01]: And it's really hard. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, sisters of battle. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I would argue some of the saints. [SPEAKER_02]: They're just up on. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it was, I mean, you tell me, we'll do this on those acts of faith, you know? [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I'm not going to, I'm not going to throw a seat. [SPEAKER_02]: So let's see, you know, the under the, not the bruise, who's powering those, you know what I mean, and not everybody was going to yell, it's the emperor, but also all that powers come from the warp. [SPEAKER_01]: Is it the emperor though? [SPEAKER_01]: Let me, it's because again, he's not talking, it's all I'm saying. [SPEAKER_01]: He's these others and you're that was me guys. [SPEAKER_02]: He's not a real socialite. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I'm just sorry. [SPEAKER_01]: It's it's the difference between the emperor powering up a saint of that this that the sort of this and corn doing it's gonna look really similar. [SPEAKER_02]: Yep. [SPEAKER_02]: And the thing is is that corn's which is why he keeps [SPEAKER_02]: usually waxing, not a lot of waning, because the galaxy is at war. [SPEAKER_02]: When you're the god of war and the galaxy is at war, then business is good. [SPEAKER_01]: It's a good good. [SPEAKER_01]: I hope that's enough coverage for corn for all of you guys, and that gives you a good grasp of what corn is. [SPEAKER_01]: We'll now move on to the next part of this, which is in some ways the opposite, but there's actually a lot of similarities here. [SPEAKER_02]: I think there's a lot of things that goes on with zaching corn. [SPEAKER_02]: So this is one of the reasons why the brothers, they are, which they are, zaching corn go together so much while all the ruinous powers are always fighting. [SPEAKER_02]: Zaching guides people into battle. [SPEAKER_02]: which always feels corn. [SPEAKER_02]: So while they're none of the gods are going kumbaya and skipping through the forest together, corn and zinch get along as much as powers. [SPEAKER_01]: And much as they click. [SPEAKER_01]: That's the best way to explain. [SPEAKER_01]: I think yeah, exactly. [SPEAKER_01]: Because zinch creates scenarios for corn to benefit. [SPEAKER_02]: He literally creates discord. [SPEAKER_02]: He creates the seeds of conflict are put into play by Zehnch in most of the places fighting Zehnch. [SPEAKER_02]: Zeanx is crazy in city. [SPEAKER_02]: Zeanx is consistently making people fight. [SPEAKER_02]: Zeanx makes his own people fight quite a bit. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, so the thing about Zeanx, one of the things I was reading about it, which I liked the way they broke it down work, Zeanx is engaging in plots that last millennia. [SPEAKER_01]: But not just a single plot. [SPEAKER_01]: He's also engaging in millions of plots. [SPEAKER_01]: That's all he has on the layer upon layer to the point where it's actually impossible to tell not just what Zee just final goal is, but if Zee's even has a final goal. [SPEAKER_02]: And he's such a trickster about things because he's into [SPEAKER_02]: deceiving misinformation, giving, making you find stuff, but also he does it to his own followers where he has them on a series of quests, just to screw with them. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: And then just like why that guy could have been your greatest champion, you're like, yeah, there was kind of funny funny. [SPEAKER_01]: Let's see what happens. [SPEAKER_02]: Just like I just screwed him over at the end. [SPEAKER_01]: So why not? [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, Zeech, it's interesting because that, the difference is between Zeech and the laughing and cigarette. [SPEAKER_01]: Not massive. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's really is the older gods. [SPEAKER_02]: The laughing god. [SPEAKER_02]: I'm sorry other guys, but the laughing god is in charge. [SPEAKER_02]: They're pretty. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, they're, they're, they're, but they would be, I wouldn't be surprised if they have a shared origin. [SPEAKER_02]: Because as Zeanche is supposed to be a very serious god of knowledge, deception for mid-knowledge, he sends people on clown quests a lot. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: It depends on what you're reading with. [SPEAKER_01]: Because you're right, there was a period of time where I think Zeanche was pretty heavily in that. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, look, it's all forbidden knowledge. [SPEAKER_01]: The dark arts. [SPEAKER_01]: That's what Zeanj was. [SPEAKER_02]: And then over time, it's been this like almost trickster of like, yeah, he just he constantly sends you on nonsense, Phil, because he tests you, test you and the worst part about it is. [SPEAKER_02]: as much of the time as it gives boon sometimes he gives you nothing. [SPEAKER_02]: I achieved twenty two question or what was my final reward. [SPEAKER_02]: This is an empty box. [SPEAKER_02]: Doos is also there's a four hundred space frames outside that are going to kill you now. [SPEAKER_02]: You're like, but I did everything you asked. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I know you shouldn't have done that. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I was dumb. [SPEAKER_01]: I've got of deception. [SPEAKER_01]: You shouldn't have been smarter about that. [SPEAKER_02]: See you later. [SPEAKER_01]: The other what makes these really tricky though is. [SPEAKER_01]: Zinch is the only one who can actually both affect space and time. [SPEAKER_01]: So sometimes he'll have a plot that will actually conclude before it began. [SPEAKER_02]: It was also the fact that Zehnstein's forward and backward in time, but he also changes it when he looks at it. [SPEAKER_02]: We also talk about every time you look at the future, you change the future, which is what Zehnstein's constantly doing. [SPEAKER_02]: So he has five hundred thousand plots, did achieve the same goal possibly. [SPEAKER_01]: And that's all they might see. [SPEAKER_01]: No one can figure out what they're trying to do. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's just sometimes it just looks like deception for the sake of deception. [SPEAKER_01]: So let's dive into the kind of birth of Zehnch. [SPEAKER_01]: We don't know the only God whose birth is recorded this slunash, obviously, but GW has told us Zehnch was the second to come into the being, which I still think should have inertled, but whatever. [SPEAKER_02]: But the big thing is as we know how once civilization came into being, [SPEAKER_02]: We can not say that this was already, although whatever. [SPEAKER_02]: When human civilization came in to be, that's when you got people thirsting for knowledge. [SPEAKER_02]: You know, thirsting for power that came through knowledge, scheming. [SPEAKER_01]: It was like, it didn't plague what had happened first, but whatever. [SPEAKER_01]: But anyway, Zeech is actually in the early stages, the most powerful of the chaos gods, because Zeech is warp energy. [SPEAKER_02]: Well, he was the beginning. [SPEAKER_02]: He was the flashiest. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, he actually was, he was the most powerful person. [SPEAKER_01]: He was the first one because he's a god of knowledge, who, all these gods are awakening in the war. [SPEAKER_01]: Zeech was the first one to figure out how to use the warp. [SPEAKER_01]: So he actually was this massively powerful god. [SPEAKER_02]: It's also nice when your followers can again throw lightning bolts out of their butt. [SPEAKER_02]: You're going to get a lot of followers when you say, the corn dog goes, I'm a powerful warrior. [SPEAKER_02]: I can show this to you. [SPEAKER_02]: And the Zeanj followers goes, I will just shoot lightning both night. [SPEAKER_01]: I'll just make you. [SPEAKER_01]: It's the setting great. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's pretty easy for me to show you the power of my God. [SPEAKER_01]: I play a lot of D&D. [SPEAKER_01]: It's a beholder. [SPEAKER_01]: I look to celebration, right? [SPEAKER_01]: And you're done. [SPEAKER_01]: They failed that test. [SPEAKER_01]: Your character doesn't exist anymore. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: But it's funny about this story. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm four shadows. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to cover later. [SPEAKER_01]: Is the the other gods by this point, believe it was just an herbal and and the corn had enough of zinch and then actually came together to kill him. [SPEAKER_01]: And they took Zeech and he threw him against the mountain and he just shattered into billions of shards all around the galaxy. [SPEAKER_01]: Like, did he want to be shattered? [SPEAKER_01]: Of course he did. [SPEAKER_02]: Because he kind of came back more powerful. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: And don't worry. [SPEAKER_01]: Like, that story sounds like, hey, there's a more that story. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: They're like, it's just trust me, but I just want to get that. [SPEAKER_01]: So [SPEAKER_01]: As it currently stands though, Zeech is actually the fourth most, most prevalent chaos god. [SPEAKER_01]: He might be one of the least powerful. [SPEAKER_01]: However, despite him being the least prevalent in the Forty-K universe, he is by according to the Inquisition, the most feared. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, hundred percent. [SPEAKER_01]: And we'll get to there in a minute too, but like Zeech's powers are horrifying. [SPEAKER_01]: Blockly known, we can use them. [SPEAKER_01]: So, let's go into what those powers are. [SPEAKER_01]: He's a god of a bit of knowledge, deception, and magic, which is, I just think a trope, but anyway, he's really just the god of all knowledge. [SPEAKER_01]: And he has endless knowledge, and I, my opinion, I think you should just get to board sometimes. [SPEAKER_02]: Please play games in the games. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you just see, you'd just like to see, like when you start the rubric of our mind. [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, yeah, true. [SPEAKER_01]: So, [SPEAKER_01]: our mind is trying to cast a spell to release all of his brothers. [SPEAKER_02]: It's really, it's, yeah, Rubik and Harmon. [SPEAKER_02]: It's also the Rubik again. [SPEAKER_02]: Rubik and Danches. [SPEAKER_01]: Yes, sure. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Those are the same thing. [SPEAKER_01]: Oopsies. [SPEAKER_01]: What does he do? [SPEAKER_01]: He allows him to proceed. [SPEAKER_01]: He actually helps him be successful. [SPEAKER_01]: Testing. [SPEAKER_01]: Testing. [SPEAKER_01]: This test is working great. [SPEAKER_01]: No problem. [SPEAKER_01]: Go ahead and cast your spell arm on what's going to happen. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, that's what's going to happen. [SPEAKER_02]: You're like, those were your guys. [SPEAKER_02]: I know. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, he gained all of them to damn nation. [SPEAKER_01]: Why? [SPEAKER_01]: Hey, it was hilarious. [SPEAKER_01]: He thought everything was working out. [SPEAKER_01]: If you see our amongst face, he basically is punked. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and he does that a lot. [SPEAKER_01]: There isn't even, there are arguments that actually the ability to use warp powers may be a zinech thing. [SPEAKER_01]: It may be that everything in the galaxy that can use the warp [SPEAKER_01]: is a gift from Zeech. [SPEAKER_01]: That was, uh, that's a fan. [SPEAKER_01]: That's a fan. [SPEAKER_02]: That's a fan fan. [SPEAKER_01]: But I like it. [SPEAKER_01]: I like the idea that Zeech is so old. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, it sounds so ancient. [SPEAKER_02]: They said that that's one of the reasons that the old ones could only do certain things because they didn't want. [SPEAKER_02]: They knew that all of the ruinous powers could be what they are and they were trying to not let that happen. [SPEAKER_01]: Elder did not. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, no. [SPEAKER_01]: Elder did not listen. [SPEAKER_01]: They did not. [SPEAKER_01]: As a result, though, every single spell that's cast in the entire galaxy, Zeanch is aware of. [SPEAKER_01]: Every time someone reaches into the warp and does something. [SPEAKER_02]: Is that even that he's aware of? [SPEAKER_02]: He knows the spell. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, it basically doesn't, but one says he feels it. [SPEAKER_01]: So any psychic anywhere in the galaxy doing anything psychic, Zeanch is instantly aware of it. [SPEAKER_02]: It's not even just because I didn't say. [SPEAKER_01]: It is important to respect the fact that he's aware of it before it happens. [SPEAKER_02]: He knows the spell vote. [SPEAKER_02]: That's a big thing. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's true. [SPEAKER_02]: He knows every spell. [SPEAKER_01]: Not every spell. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, we're getting there. [SPEAKER_01]: I really do love that. [SPEAKER_01]: Those two little fuckers. [SPEAKER_01]: That's that word. [SPEAKER_01]: So Zeech is knowledge though. [SPEAKER_01]: Just to kind of put on a scale, the black library that the Eldar have held. [SPEAKER_02]: It's the repository of all the most knowledge in the galaxy. [SPEAKER_01]: That is effectively a child's bookshelf compared to what Zinc knows. [SPEAKER_01]: He is there is anything and everything that has ever happened or potentially will happen. [SPEAKER_01]: Zinc is aware of. [SPEAKER_02]: Or has a hand in? [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's the colors and numbers. [SPEAKER_01]: Zeanx is nine. [SPEAKER_01]: As we seven corn, these don't matter. [SPEAKER_01]: They totally matter. [SPEAKER_01]: They're useless. [SPEAKER_01]: It never comes up. [SPEAKER_01]: It only comes up because everything gets cast as spell and nine's a pain in the Asterole and two dice. [SPEAKER_01]: So it's not even a good one. [SPEAKER_02]: Zeanx is the models. [SPEAKER_02]: I'm going to throw this out there. [SPEAKER_02]: Cool models. [SPEAKER_02]: Don't get me wrong at all. [SPEAKER_02]: But Zeanx, like just like we said last episode when we're talking about Terminator armor versus Robes is a reality. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: One of the biggest things is, Zehnch's minions change form. [SPEAKER_02]: They don't respect reality of laws of physics. [SPEAKER_02]: Looking at horrors makes regular men lose their sanity. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: It is so hard to put that on the table. [SPEAKER_02]: How do I model something? [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's true. [SPEAKER_01]: I think with the exception of the lord of changes, Zehnch's models, [SPEAKER_02]: It's just hard because they're supposed to be changing and not respecting it. [SPEAKER_02]: It's the same thing when you're talking about cathulu. [SPEAKER_02]: Like they don't respect the laws of physics. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's a good point. [SPEAKER_01]: They are the shifting and not because it will get to the next second as the same way. [SPEAKER_01]: Like you're right. [SPEAKER_01]: The tabletop doesn't do the lower credit. [SPEAKER_01]: But how? [SPEAKER_01]: Because you couldn't. [SPEAKER_02]: You're like sorry, but we had to make three things and three dimensions. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: I didn't have five or six other dimensions to model this in, so my best. [SPEAKER_01]: So it's good. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, we're just going to do it in the one you can all, but you's always visible light. [SPEAKER_02]: But it is the thing of that because that is one of my favorite things about Zeech and Zeech's demons is, they win fights a lot of times, not because they're the most powerful. [SPEAKER_02]: Zeech physically demons are a lot of times very weak apparently, but when you break the minds of everyone you fight against before you, any shots are fired or any swords are strong. [SPEAKER_02]: Well, I'm probably going to win that one because the guys in the corner, shooting his pants because he can't figure out why reality is a work. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm probably going to win that fight. [SPEAKER_01]: It's fair. [SPEAKER_01]: We'll be right back after a quick break. [SPEAKER_01]: One cool thing about Zeej is where like corn has this great land with structure. [SPEAKER_01]: We have volcanoes. [SPEAKER_01]: We've got rivers of blood. [SPEAKER_01]: We've got all this stuff, the skull throne. [SPEAKER_01]: Zeech's land is just confusing. [SPEAKER_01]: That's the way to describe it. [SPEAKER_02]: It's ever changing. [SPEAKER_01]: It's ever changing. [SPEAKER_01]: There are the people who've been there to describe it as everything has no edges. [SPEAKER_01]: It's all like it's a dream. [SPEAKER_01]: trying to move through it, you know, one step could feel like impossible because somehow you forgot how to walk. [SPEAKER_01]: That's his existence is don't exist. [SPEAKER_01]: His entire realm, most people who visit it, you know, they come back and they're just crazy. [SPEAKER_01]: And they all end up committing suicide or the English and helps them with that process. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: Inquisitions like, oh, we'll just help you along. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, because mostly because the one challenges if you've been this inches realm and come back to the material, you probably know some stuff the Inquisition doesn't want to know. [SPEAKER_02]: Well, one of the big things is these inches often truthful on the fact of I will let you know the thing that you want to know. [SPEAKER_02]: However, your mortal brain can't comprehend. [SPEAKER_02]: the actual thing you want to know. [SPEAKER_02]: So he goes, no problem. [SPEAKER_02]: I'll show you it. [SPEAKER_02]: And then you go, oh, oh, my brain broke. [SPEAKER_01]: Sorry. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm now completely crazy. [SPEAKER_02]: And that happens so much in the stories. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: Zeanj breaks the minds of more people than he ever kills. [SPEAKER_01]: Lucas, he's giving so much heat when he does these dumps so much information and so much that you just can't comprehend it all. [SPEAKER_01]: And so you're just driven mad. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I mean, it's, it's so he, most of the stories of Zinch, people that are trying to either defeat Zinch, following Zinch, his greatest champions, a lot of times, he never smites them, kills them, defeat them. [SPEAKER_02]: He lets them have what they want and that thing that they want is often the thing that breaks their mind. [SPEAKER_02]: That's tons of the stories. [SPEAKER_01]: It's kind of cool because the next bit I was going to do here is the center of Zeanch's realm is his great laboring because Zeanch has no defenders. [SPEAKER_01]: If you were to walk into the realm of Zeanch, you could walk all with the laboring. [SPEAKER_01]: You might not. [SPEAKER_01]: You're probably going crazy in the process, but it's designed to just be this, look, if you want to get here, you can try. [SPEAKER_02]: Also tons of people that have went through the lab rest again, when in huge air quotes, no one's ever gotten through the lab rent. [SPEAKER_01]: That's the whole. [SPEAKER_02]: Well, that's the thing is plenty of people have thought. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, there we go. [SPEAKER_02]: They've gotten through the lab rent. [SPEAKER_01]: Is this impossible? [SPEAKER_01]: And we say lab rent. [SPEAKER_01]: When we talk about lore in general, I'm talking like mythology, all those things. [SPEAKER_01]: Labyrinth is always used as this like trope of. [SPEAKER_01]: It's an impossible maze. [SPEAKER_01]: No one can ever get through. [SPEAKER_01]: Except for one hero who pulls it off, not in this case. [SPEAKER_01]: No one gets through it. [SPEAKER_02]: It's also as each is labored. [SPEAKER_02]: It isn't just the minute our walking through a wall of things. [SPEAKER_02]: Zeans will put you through everything. [SPEAKER_02]: He'll make you replay every shitty event in your life and drive you mad. [SPEAKER_01]: And the lab with also is moving. [SPEAKER_01]: It's adjusting any success you have within Zeanx's lab run is because Zeanx wanted you to do it. [SPEAKER_01]: He's just waiting for the time that giving you failure is going to be the most painful. [SPEAKER_01]: And that's when he's going to do it. [SPEAKER_02]: True story. [SPEAKER_01]: Zeanx is kind of a dick. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: Things is terrible. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: So followers of Zeanx, equally important. [SPEAKER_01]: They're kind of complicated because they're the most, they're the fewest. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, they're also the most powerful. [SPEAKER_02]: But they're also the most at the same time. [SPEAKER_02]: And what I'm going to say is, Zeech Kaiser so Zee's more people. [SPEAKER_02]: Because a ton of people think they're doing stuff for something, but somebody else, including the Imperium and or one of the other ruinous powers. [SPEAKER_02]: But they're not. [SPEAKER_01]: They're doing something. [SPEAKER_02]: They're doing something because Zeanch whispered into the ear, and that person whispered into the ear, and this person whispered into the ear, and some followers of Slanesh are doing the thing that Slanesh told us to do, and you're like, I mean, are you? [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: But that's how Slanesh works though. [SPEAKER_01]: He, this is why the other God's age, Zeanch. [SPEAKER_01]: Because it makes their followers do his bidding. [SPEAKER_02]: Yep. [SPEAKER_02]: A lot also. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: One area that makes things really dangerous though for is psychers. [SPEAKER_01]: The thing about being a psycher and you only talk about this enough and we probably should do some casts on it is the act of using your psychic powers. [SPEAKER_01]: is training, it's experience, you have to learn, you have to learn to do all these things. [SPEAKER_01]: And we're talking, we talk about Eldar, right? [SPEAKER_01]: Eldar worked out their core at their prime. [SPEAKER_01]: We're able to just use second powers to create anything from anywhere, but they always could. [SPEAKER_01]: It's sixty million years of that. [SPEAKER_02]: It's also part of their DNA. [SPEAKER_01]: But mankind is new to this. [SPEAKER_02]: using psychic powers, especially for humans as evil, takes the term even done right. [SPEAKER_02]: taxes you, takes a tremendous, because you're like, hey, what's tired? [SPEAKER_02]: My soul. [SPEAKER_02]: How do you, how do you rest the soul up? [SPEAKER_02]: I don't really know how to stretch out before I, I didn't want to pull a hammy on my soul. [SPEAKER_02]: It's really hard to figure that out, especially if you don't have training, which a lot of Zeanch cultists [SPEAKER_02]: Do not have anything. [SPEAKER_02]: Zintia says, you got powers. [SPEAKER_02]: You should do stuff. [SPEAKER_02]: And he's like, what can I do? [SPEAKER_02]: Anything you want? [SPEAKER_02]: And then if you don't pause and go, is that going to have an adverse effect on me? [SPEAKER_02]: You're like, oh, yeah, you're going to die for sure. [SPEAKER_01]: But what makes Zintia nasty is that Zintia can go to a siker and say to them, hey, you made a lightning bolt, or you manifested some food or whatever it is. [SPEAKER_01]: What if I show you how to really do it? [SPEAKER_01]: So now we're talking, and we're going to cover this in a future cast, an unregulated cycle. [SPEAKER_02]: So dangerous. [SPEAKER_01]: Now has, it's not because the, a cycle, it's a weird way to look at it. [SPEAKER_01]: I look at this way. [SPEAKER_01]: Psychers aren't more or less powerful than other psychers. [SPEAKER_01]: It's their ability to pull power from the warping use it. [SPEAKER_01]: So that's what used to me is a knowledge thing. [SPEAKER_02]: I think it could become one of the biggest things though, Jonathan, for me is, [SPEAKER_02]: You can have these untrained psychers do things that other psychers can't do because of the fact that they don't know any better in the fact that they're going to die after casting that spell. [SPEAKER_02]: So you get people throwing down these just gigantic leggings for a store, whatever. [SPEAKER_02]: Right. [SPEAKER_02]: But the person gets snuffed out after that because [SPEAKER_02]: they get killed by channeling that much, and they get immediately murdered and zinched, doesn't care, and land, all right? [SPEAKER_02]: I wanted you to cast that lighting star here. [SPEAKER_01]: You mean nothing to me, but what this creates is incredibly powerful psychors, because that made it, it's just more my theory on this. [SPEAKER_01]: It's like, you look at some of the best psychors of the ones who can pull massive amounts of energy, but can kind of calm themselves as they use it. [SPEAKER_01]: Why can't I think of the Ultramarine Psycher? [SPEAKER_01]: Take yours. [SPEAKER_01]: Take yours. [SPEAKER_01]: Great example. [SPEAKER_01]: Take it. [SPEAKER_01]: Take his just a man. [SPEAKER_02]: But he was born just knowing how to do it. [SPEAKER_01]: Exactly. [SPEAKER_02]: Immediately. [SPEAKER_01]: And what Tiki does is just like any other. [SPEAKER_02]: Is he a father of zage? [SPEAKER_02]: Maybe he doesn't know it. [SPEAKER_01]: There we go. [SPEAKER_01]: Does it think what Tiki does is he when he casts, he can cast incredible powers, be able to keep himself calm and his soul clattering so that he can do it. [SPEAKER_01]: That is something that zines can give you. [SPEAKER_01]: But he also did that immediately. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, he's an interesting person. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I'm just saying he did it without strength. [SPEAKER_01]: Yep. [SPEAKER_01]: So you're going to imagine how enticing, giving your soul or making a deal with zinches and zinch loves himself a deal. [SPEAKER_02]: But it's also, it's so easy for Zanche on this, because his gifts are so obviously forbidden knowledge and he leads those people around, but we're talking about the cycle, it's part of it. [SPEAKER_02]: When you're a cycle, it is so easy for Zanche to take a hold of you, because his powers are so obviously the, you, you couldn't destroy things with lightning bolts from your fingertips, and now you can. [SPEAKER_02]: That seems good. [SPEAKER_02]: I'm going to keep worshiping this. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I want to kind of let's hang out with this guy. [SPEAKER_01]: He seems to be good for me. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, he's I was a lot less cool before the lightning bolt time of the fingers. [SPEAKER_01]: The other thing that makes it seem dangerous though is he also has knowledge and when we use a term for bid and knowledge, [SPEAKER_01]: You can take it different ways. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't take it as like, ooh, the dark arts. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean it as secrets. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, he knows everyone's secrets. [SPEAKER_02]: He can politicians. [SPEAKER_02]: The people in control are zinc. [SPEAKER_02]: So this is why zinc doesn't need the most followers. [SPEAKER_02]: You're like, hey, you've got all, you've got all these random, the unwashed matches. [SPEAKER_02]: You're like, masses, who are your followers? [SPEAKER_02]: So they're the president. [SPEAKER_02]: And the stick taker over here. [SPEAKER_02]: in this guy over here and the entire parliament is mine. [SPEAKER_02]: You're like, oh, how? [SPEAKER_02]: Because I let them have all of the knowledge of their competitors, all of the knowledge of the other powers, the other nations that we're trying to compete against me. [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, here's everything that they know. [SPEAKER_02]: Now you know it. [SPEAKER_01]: Yep. [SPEAKER_01]: And so powerful. [SPEAKER_01]: It's incredibly powerful. [SPEAKER_01]: And so what you get is politicians rise up from nowhere because they know [SPEAKER_01]: You know, so-and-so is skimming from the Imperium. [SPEAKER_01]: So now he can report it. [SPEAKER_01]: And then, yes, so-and-so is extremely dead now. [SPEAKER_01]: And you report it. [SPEAKER_01]: So now you move up a tear. [SPEAKER_01]: It's all these little things, these little changes. [SPEAKER_01]: And this also will even infest the military, because you want to be a greater general. [SPEAKER_01]: Zeeach could help you know your opponents' movements so that you become a more successful warrior. [SPEAKER_01]: This is what Zeeach does and is- Well, you can tell you of impending engagements too. [SPEAKER_02]: Zeeach, you can stop those before they even happen. [SPEAKER_01]: And it's all yours. [SPEAKER_01]: That being said, Corn is happy to just give his bones to anyone who wants a bone. [SPEAKER_02]: Well, that's the biggest thing. [SPEAKER_02]: Zeeach. [SPEAKER_02]: Corn gives no shit about who the victor is. [SPEAKER_02]: Zeeach does. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, Zeeach. [SPEAKER_01]: If he's going to give you something, there is a return. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, the the flesh curse. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, Siege doesn't. [SPEAKER_02]: Siege wants his pound of flesh after he's done that there are great return. [SPEAKER_02]: You can worship corn accidentally and not really get a whole lot of terrible things that happened to you. [SPEAKER_02]: If you worship Siege, [SPEAKER_01]: He's getting something. [SPEAKER_01]: You cannot worship zines without giving something. [SPEAKER_02]: And you should read the, the fine prints are pretty big deal. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: It's also written. [SPEAKER_02]: You should definitely get Daniel Webster to look on yourself. [SPEAKER_02]: Also, if you don't know what that is, read the read it down. [SPEAKER_01]: You're old. [SPEAKER_02]: I know, but it's good. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I stood there. [SPEAKER_01]: All right. [SPEAKER_01]: So we should also just like with Corna, where it spends time on some of the demons of Zech. [SPEAKER_01]: So starting off obviously with the lesser demons, which he actually has three, they're all horrors. [SPEAKER_01]: And I get kick out of horrors because they split because it's cool. [SPEAKER_01]: From the gameplay standpoint, the first one is a pink horror. [SPEAKER_01]: Pink horrors are just about a space marine size. [SPEAKER_01]: They have three arms, which is random. [SPEAKER_01]: and speak other pink. [SPEAKER_02]: Well, they don't, they model that through him. [SPEAKER_02]: They're ever changing and they look crazy. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and they run out you. [SPEAKER_01]: If you kill a pink horror though, it explodes into two loos, which are smaller versions of them, which then keep running out you and trying to hit you, then if you kill the blues, you get my favorites. [SPEAKER_02]: Bipstone. [SPEAKER_01]: It's a little, so the way to look at it from, if I can do you guys a visual here, a pink horror is a large bipedal thing with, you know, in the models, they have three arms. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: You can cast psychic powers, but they're about that. [SPEAKER_01]: Blues are about half the size of a pink. [SPEAKER_01]: but they kind of look similar to the pink, they're just blue. [SPEAKER_02]: And brims are just cute little marshmallows. [SPEAKER_01]: It's a little marshmallows of fire. [SPEAKER_01]: And what they do is they're made of fire. [SPEAKER_01]: What they love to do is light their opponents on fire with warp fire, then they join hands around the opponent and sing while the opponent burps the bit. [SPEAKER_01]: This is something brimstones just do. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, they're cute and they're adorable. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, they're adorable. [SPEAKER_01]: And yeah, they just want to burn their enemies to the ground. [SPEAKER_02]: Haralds. [SPEAKER_02]: Haralds can be several different things. [SPEAKER_02]: They have the most common is the Harold that leads other horse. [SPEAKER_01]: It's basically a juiced up pig. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's a big horse. [SPEAKER_02]: But then you've also got [SPEAKER_02]: The Zeanch has probably the most herald, I guess, ask. [SPEAKER_02]: Because there's a lot of named demons that have done a lot of different knowledge for Zeanch. [SPEAKER_02]: So they can appear as writing things. [SPEAKER_02]: They can appear as we're either walking horse. [SPEAKER_02]: They're just as the Lord of Change. [SPEAKER_02]: They can appear as a lot of wildly different corn aren't largely different. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, heralds are are kind of the on the battlefield. [SPEAKER_01]: The heralds are actually much more the leaders. [SPEAKER_01]: So we're going to get to the lords of change a second, but lords of change aren't really meant for good home. [SPEAKER_02]: He made the lord of change. [SPEAKER_02]: The demon just the zenech as the lord that [SPEAKER_01]: That's great. [SPEAKER_01]: We have something in the Grammar team. [SPEAKER_01]: The Grammar team is where is like when you look at the other Grammar team. [SPEAKER_01]: And so blood thirst, there's keepers and great on clean ones. [SPEAKER_01]: They are there to lead the armies. [SPEAKER_01]: Whereas in Zeech and we get there and jump in ahead, but we'll come back to it. [SPEAKER_01]: They're not, they're there to actually do the workings of Zeech. [SPEAKER_01]: The heralds of Zeech are the ones who let you lead the army. [SPEAKER_02]: Because the lords of change are actually fighting and actually changing things with powerful side. [SPEAKER_01]: Exactly. [SPEAKER_01]: One other group that I didn't, I don't know, wedge him in here because I'm not really sure. [SPEAKER_01]: We never talked about Zango as before. [SPEAKER_02]: It's the planet's exchange though. [SPEAKER_02]: That's what happens when you think on time. [SPEAKER_01]: Because Zango is aren't technically demons though. [SPEAKER_02]: No, they're they're they're zinch infused. [SPEAKER_02]: Whatever. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, these men is what is what describe that. [SPEAKER_01]: But so anyway, it plays the game. [SPEAKER_01]: You've seen Zango's actually might not because it rules it in garbage, but anyone who owns thousands of phones. [SPEAKER_02]: They go in the light they're pretty good. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but anyone who owns them was like, it was a begrudgingly. [SPEAKER_01]: So, there's no real origin on a Zangor. [SPEAKER_01]: So, Zangor is they're basically a beast man, but they have a bird face and horns. [SPEAKER_01]: That's the best way to explain. [SPEAKER_02]: But otherwise they're just... And they have a bunch of different. [SPEAKER_02]: They have the actual psychers and casters. [SPEAKER_02]: They have several versions of them. [SPEAKER_02]: They are planets. [SPEAKER_01]: Devoted to Zinc. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, there'll be entire planet's obsangles. [SPEAKER_01]: Yep. [SPEAKER_01]: And they've lived there, but they're actually created because the original thought was that they came from the plan of sorcerers, which doesn't make sense because they were there before the plan of the sorcerers. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, there was no plan of sorcerers before there was plan of sorcerers. [SPEAKER_01]: That's the thing. [SPEAKER_01]: So it's like they predate. [SPEAKER_01]: There's supposed to be on the plan of sorcerers, which is what all of the thousands. [SPEAKER_02]: There was more of them before. [SPEAKER_02]: I don't, they, they goofed themselves. [SPEAKER_01]: Each before is the problem. [SPEAKER_01]: Effectively, we don't know where they come from, but we do know that they will randomly appear. [SPEAKER_01]: So, I'll just ship that gets lost in the warp, the crew will get converted in designers. [SPEAKER_01]: So, we know Zeans makes them. [SPEAKER_01]: Are they demons? [SPEAKER_01]: No, because they move in the materialium with comfort. [SPEAKER_01]: They don't need to be summoned into the materialiums. [SPEAKER_01]: That's why they're not demons. [SPEAKER_02]: But they have casters. [SPEAKER_02]: They have psychic affinity. [SPEAKER_01]: They do. [SPEAKER_01]: The ones they say, they fall into weird category because they're demon prints. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: That's a good point. [SPEAKER_01]: Demon prints us. [SPEAKER_02]: They're how about their work touched is what I would say. [SPEAKER_01]: So, but from there, we move into the greater, which is the Lord of Change. [SPEAKER_01]: So the Lord of Change is really cool because as we said, he also doesn't has no form. [SPEAKER_02]: I know, but the greater the greater demons on the board function very well to the Lord. [SPEAKER_02]: Obviously, the bloodthirsty doesn't just kill everyone. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: But he is a devastating fool. [SPEAKER_01]: It's a great and clean one, just. [SPEAKER_02]: The Lord of Change, floor versus tabletop, is difficult because yes, he's powerfully. [SPEAKER_02]: He's pretty decent in combat, has some pretty great psychic abilities, but man in the Lord, these guys are just bending reality to their will. [SPEAKER_02]: We'll changing things the problem is done in the Lord. [SPEAKER_01]: They're not meant for combat. [SPEAKER_01]: lords of change exist in the lore to influence and corrupt. [SPEAKER_01]: That's what they're do there. [SPEAKER_01]: They are the ones who are interacting with, you know, they're with mortals. [SPEAKER_01]: That's what they do. [SPEAKER_01]: When you're making a deal with zinc, you're making a deal with the orders. [SPEAKER_02]: They're legitimately the devils. [SPEAKER_02]: They, they psychically project themselves a lot. [SPEAKER_02]: They don't always even show up. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: So there's a big them being [SPEAKER_01]: on the table, Tom doesn't really make a ton of sense because as we said before, the fight happening makes a lot of sense because they probably caused it. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, they probably caused it, but they're not, it's not their world. [SPEAKER_01]: They would actually more likely leave the inlet and let the followers of Zean Spidey because they're frail is what they are for deep for greater freedom. [SPEAKER_01]: It's even though they're the by far the weakest in combat. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, in psychic. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, don't melt your face. [SPEAKER_02]: It's just, it's hard to give them, you know, Lord, all of them are going to be. [SPEAKER_02]: We've already said that. [SPEAKER_02]: Lord to tabletop is always going to be tough. [SPEAKER_01]: One thing I like is, and the few different stories of inquisitors who are driven mad, because the turns out with the person that they're hunting down, [SPEAKER_01]: is a Lord of Change. [SPEAKER_01]: They finally get to the Lord of Change. [SPEAKER_01]: It basically melts their brain with the donation. [SPEAKER_02]: A lot of times, they again give them what they want, which is too much for their mind to handle. [SPEAKER_01]: They should do all of the corruption. [SPEAKER_02]: And this is love, crafty and stuff all over. [SPEAKER_02]: They do it all the time. [SPEAKER_02]: You're like, you shouldn't mean that deal with Catholic. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: But that being said, if a Lord of Change fought a blood therster, the blood therster is probably going to stop him anyway. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I guess the, all right, now I'm going to go to soda, I guess, so that that wasn't. [SPEAKER_02]: I thought who's the guy I'm supposed to fight? [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that this thing. [SPEAKER_01]: All right, is there a, can I fight three? [SPEAKER_01]: Like I just, I'm not really interested. [SPEAKER_01]: So. [SPEAKER_01]: As we talked before, when you go into the stories of any of the demons, you get a lot of named characters. [SPEAKER_01]: And so I just picked the two that I enjoy the most. [SPEAKER_02]: And I mean, let's go with the changeling. [SPEAKER_01]: Because the changeling is, it's just a herald of zinc. [SPEAKER_01]: And we talked about this in the last episode. [SPEAKER_01]: This is a lesser demon that has, that might be the most, one of the most powerful demons. [SPEAKER_02]: You're about to get a break line cut. [SPEAKER_02]: That's like it. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: This guy is nutty valve. [SPEAKER_01]: He's so cool. [SPEAKER_02]: He has manipulated wars. [SPEAKER_02]: He has made big dog characters do some. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: We're gonna, we're gonna talk about a couple of minutes a second. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: That's the changing has no form. [SPEAKER_01]: He just can appear as anything. [SPEAKER_01]: So, you know, I would actually argue with SIGARATH a changeling. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, that's kind of weird actually, but impossibly. [SPEAKER_01]: Then the just saying like SIGARATH has no form, SIGARATH likes to manipulate. [SPEAKER_01]: But anyway, so one of my favorites is on FENRIS, the changeling. [SPEAKER_01]: So when the thousand sons as we talked about with on the arm and one were attacking FENRIS. [SPEAKER_01]: a changeling appeared first the scout marine and then took his form of semi-L to convince azurel to attack Fenris. [SPEAKER_01]: That was a changeling doing that. [SPEAKER_01]: He also took the form of Lord solar at one point and convinced half of Lord solar is off on army to retreat. [SPEAKER_02]: And when you said half of the army, it wasn't like half of the buff tune. [SPEAKER_01]: No, this is up our meat. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Yes, he appeared Lord soul or previous and told them oh, we're good. [SPEAKER_01]: Go home and they all went. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, it's Lord solar. [SPEAKER_01]: I guess I'll just go home now. [SPEAKER_01]: Yep. [SPEAKER_01]: My favorite one is no idea why he appeared as a grudgeon. [SPEAKER_01]: to what a big Mac. [SPEAKER_02]: And he just to stop is a gun. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you're going to show him off, which made the gun explode when went to use it. [SPEAKER_02]: Just look over no, he just went and screwed. [SPEAKER_02]: This is tough. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, these are just some of the weird stories. [SPEAKER_01]: He also, this one is actually fantastic. [SPEAKER_01]: created a nergling woppy cushion. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm surprised you didn't kill for this one. [SPEAKER_01]: So the changeling snuck into the the skull throne with a bunch of nerglings tied them together. [SPEAKER_01]: and made it so when corn sat down, the New Orleans exploded, making a horrible sound and even worse smell. [SPEAKER_01]: Why did he make that the skull thrown stinky? [SPEAKER_01]: No idea, but he did it. [SPEAKER_01]: Indeed. [SPEAKER_01]: And this is why my question was, is Sagarath actually a changeling? [SPEAKER_01]: Because this is just what he does over and over and over again. [SPEAKER_01]: The changeling does not exist for a specific purpose, other than for chaos. [SPEAKER_03]: Yep. [SPEAKER_01]: They don't have it. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, they have a model. [SPEAKER_01]: It's hard to find. [SPEAKER_01]: They do have a model. [SPEAKER_01]: Are the blue scribes. [SPEAKER_01]: Those scribes are up to. [SPEAKER_01]: These things are just cool as hell. [SPEAKER_01]: So. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, they're like the two guards. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: But we talked earlier where Zeanj was thrown against a mountain and broke up into a million shows. [SPEAKER_01]: Each shard of zinch is actually a spell of zinch, and they're spread throughout the galaxy. [SPEAKER_01]: These are shards of a god. [SPEAKER_01]: So zinch would like his shards back. [SPEAKER_02]: Well, zinch also already got he is more than the summoned despards. [SPEAKER_01]: But he still wants all his shards back. [SPEAKER_01]: True story. [SPEAKER_01]: The problem is that [SPEAKER_01]: How, who do you send the collector's shard? [SPEAKER_01]: Because once they get a couple of them, they're some of the most powerful beings in the galaxy. [SPEAKER_01]: So he grabs two blue horrors. [SPEAKER_01]: And sends them out to go collect them all. [SPEAKER_01]: By the way, the document them all, actually. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, you collect them and document them. [SPEAKER_01]: This is one of those things where if someone like Aramon knew these shards existed, [SPEAKER_01]: I'd be scooping up after you could care less of the web way. [SPEAKER_01]: Like, I'm going here now. [SPEAKER_01]: So he's got two bluehars named Poterex and Zirx Optip. [SPEAKER_01]: I cannot, that's all I'm doing guys. [SPEAKER_01]: It's the same name spelled backwards. [SPEAKER_01]: P-T-E-N-A-R-I-X, and then the other way around. [SPEAKER_01]: So that's where it is. [SPEAKER_01]: Tatarix can transcribe any spell that he sees, but he doesn't transcribe it into a language he can read or comprehend. [SPEAKER_01]: Then Ziktar up can cast and read anything that Pick Carx writes down, but also can't comprehend them. [SPEAKER_01]: So these two little blue horrors are running around grabbing shards, writing them down, no idea what they're writing down, but they can read them if they're in trouble. [SPEAKER_02]: And they, but they don't know what they're casting. [SPEAKER_01]: They no idea what they're casting. [SPEAKER_02]: Just wait me anything. [SPEAKER_01]: These stories are hilarious. [SPEAKER_02]: They could see a comet. [SPEAKER_02]: It could be I created pancakes. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: That's yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: That's a great. [SPEAKER_01]: And there are some very comical stories about these two when they get corners. [SPEAKER_01]: They always run away obviously. [SPEAKER_01]: They've got, they have a disk of zines that they ride. [SPEAKER_01]: So they can actually jump in that in a material they can get anywhere. [SPEAKER_01]: But if cornered, [SPEAKER_01]: Zix our up to whatever. [SPEAKER_01]: Zix our up will then immediately start reading spells. [SPEAKER_01]: Not randomly. [SPEAKER_01]: He'll just fucking randomly read spells to see what happens. [SPEAKER_01]: And yeah, it might be you've got them cornered as breads at a comet hits you and blows you up or French toast. [SPEAKER_01]: Yep. [SPEAKER_01]: French toast is now is now there and it just looks at and keeps casting until it works. [SPEAKER_01]: They're awesome. [SPEAKER_01]: They have a cool model. [SPEAKER_01]: They're useless on the table top. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I mean, yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: And also, by the way, they also hate each other, which is what's really funny. [SPEAKER_01]: They're always caught arguing with each other. [SPEAKER_02]: And they're with each other, one hundred percent of the time. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: They are the main of existence for the in the game. [SPEAKER_01]: They have split a planet and half before with one of these spells. [SPEAKER_01]: Just because they were cornering didn't know what to do. [SPEAKER_01]: Nothing wrong with that. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: These things happen. [SPEAKER_01]: Last little bit we'll cover though is going to be zinch and the imperium and discuss kind of what the imperium's viewpoint on z inches. [SPEAKER_01]: And simply put as far as the inquisition is concerned, zinch is the greatest threat to the imperium. [SPEAKER_01]: So zinch and the imperium, the challenge for the imperium is zinch, though as we said before, it doesn't represent a lot of cults. [SPEAKER_01]: Zeanx is the most dangerous to the imperial because of who he corrupts. [SPEAKER_02]: The leadership. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Every noble throughout the imperial may be working for Zeanx. [SPEAKER_01]: And as we said before, unlike corn, where you could work for corn and not know it, if you work for Zeanx, you have made a deal with Zeanx, which means Zeanx is getting something. [SPEAKER_02]: which also you have made a shitty deal. [SPEAKER_02]: Zero people have made a great deal of exchange. [SPEAKER_02]: No one ever walks away going, I really pulled the wool over Zinches eyes. [SPEAKER_02]: I came away with that with the best deal ever. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, he Zinches in the promise you never know what these deal with Zinches goal is. [SPEAKER_01]: Zinches may make a deal with someone to give them knowledge and ask them to do something that looks benign. [SPEAKER_01]: But that benign act changes two different systems. [SPEAKER_01]: Exactly. [SPEAKER_01]: It's a nothing thing. [SPEAKER_01]: It is he's he's he's so corrupt and so the the inquisition is most obsessed with tracking down zinge corruption because it can affect the imperium. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, like be fair. [SPEAKER_01]: to court. [SPEAKER_01]: If a corn gets a hold of a system, it's just going to burn. [SPEAKER_01]: You send in some soldiers. [SPEAKER_01]: You kill the corruption. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, but it's the exchange gets an order of the system. [SPEAKER_02]: All of a sudden, his plan is that he wants to stop the shipment of corn. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, forty three systems over because he wants to have a battle go his way in a hundred years. [SPEAKER_01]: You don't know why he's there, but he's in every day, he's getting his fingers deeper and deeper into it. [SPEAKER_01]: It is terrifying for the Imperium, because once it, the only two is each is so crafty, once his plans have begun, you're not going to stop them. [SPEAKER_01]: The other one though, that's actually a lot scarier, our psychers. [SPEAKER_01]: And we're going to do an episode pretty soon, everybody on psychers and black fleets, I'm going to have you, but regulated psychers are scary to the Imperium. [SPEAKER_02]: Unregulated psychers that are worshipers are zing. [SPEAKER_02]: Again, zing gives. [SPEAKER_02]: Hold on, carry the one. [SPEAKER_02]: Zero shits, whether you live or die. [SPEAKER_02]: So he is willing to give you powers that will for sure kill you. [SPEAKER_01]: So what? [SPEAKER_01]: But kill you, you might explode like an atom bomb in the city. [SPEAKER_02]: Exactly. [SPEAKER_02]: In the middle of the high city, you might rack in period. [SPEAKER_02]: I'm shit, which is what he wanted you for in the first place. [SPEAKER_02]: He doesn't. [SPEAKER_02]: He gives no craps that you made a deal with him to become the most powerful psycher to take over the world. [SPEAKER_01]: And then now he, that was, you know, actually, let's dive into this just briefly here. [SPEAKER_01]: If you're an unregulated psycher in the Imperium, you are living a life of fear. [SPEAKER_01]: You know, you're not supposed to have these powers. [SPEAKER_01]: And everyone in the Imperium's aware of the black ships. [SPEAKER_01]: So you know that if people find out you have these powers, [SPEAKER_01]: they will take you somewhere and you don't know where. [SPEAKER_01]: So the only way to stay alive is the fight. [SPEAKER_01]: And you need power to fight. [SPEAKER_01]: Zeem's will give you that power. [SPEAKER_01]: And what ends up happening is, psychers and spoiler alert guys, psychers in the imperial are not rare. [SPEAKER_01]: There won't be one psycher in the high of city. [SPEAKER_01]: There could be thousands. [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, there won't be, you mean, you possibly, there is. [SPEAKER_01]: There are thousands in zinch, make connect all of them together. [SPEAKER_01]: So now you don't have, you could be a cup of, yeah, if you give a bowl of psychers, you don't have one or two psychers, you've got thousands of them. [SPEAKER_02]: And also, psychers are powerful by themselves. [SPEAKER_02]: The balls of psychiatrists can do world-multuring magic. [SPEAKER_01]: Yep. [SPEAKER_01]: And so this is why Zinch is such a threat to the Imperium. [SPEAKER_01]: But from there, I think we'll just conclude. [SPEAKER_01]: Next week, we're going into Slanesha Nurtle. [SPEAKER_01]: That's going to be difficult. [SPEAKER_02]: I need to do the six rooms. [SPEAKER_02]: There's no chance we're doing that. [SPEAKER_01]: We're not doing anything close to that. [SPEAKER_01]: I do not, this is going to cancel, but doing really well right now. [SPEAKER_01]: We're going to talk about all of the great baking championships that that's let Slash has going on. [SPEAKER_01]: So many baking championships. [SPEAKER_01]: Just incredible baking championships. [SPEAKER_01]: It really is like basically the entire Bravo network. [SPEAKER_01]: It's like, you know, top runway, you know, America's next top model, Project Runway. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't watch these things, but they all exist. [SPEAKER_01]: That's the mesh making so many faces right now. [SPEAKER_01]: All right, with that though, again, sorry for my voice everybody. [SPEAKER_01]: I really just gave out part of this cast. [SPEAKER_01]: This is what happens. [SPEAKER_01]: We try to do multiple in a day. [SPEAKER_01]: But with that, like and subscribe to our cast, join our discord. [SPEAKER_01]: It really is going very well. [SPEAKER_01]: We're coming up. [SPEAKER_01]: It's a good time to join the discord, by the way, because we're coming up on the end of some of our new written content. [SPEAKER_01]: So if you have some ideas, [SPEAKER_01]: Really good time to let us know. [SPEAKER_01]: Also, I keep forgetting we have a Patreon. [SPEAKER_01]: Jesus Christ, we're like eleven episodes in having said it one time. [SPEAKER_02]: You should probably mention that. [SPEAKER_01]: Two pensions that Patreon are bad. [SPEAKER_01]: But with that, this is John Barsani, Brad Chester. [SPEAKER_01]: See you all next week.
