00:00:03 Speaker 1: Reality with the King is hosted by me, Carlos King. I'm an executive producer who have produced some of your favorite shows from the Real Housewives in Atlanta, New Jersey and my own creation, The Love and Marriage Franchise and Bell Collective. Every episode, we recap reality television from the Real Housewives Franchise to The Bachelor or Selling Sunset, in addition to celebrity guests, whether in the unscripted space or scripted as well. Hey, rain drops. On today's episode Reality with the King, Alexis Jansen and I are back to talk about part one of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion. Alexis is recovering, so if she sounds a little muffled. 00:00:58 Speaker 2: Well, well we'll just say I have had an elective procedure done and everyone's gonna have to wait and just see next week or the week after just what I will unveil on Carlos King. 00:01:10 Speaker 1: I can't wait to see the end result of whatever it is that you're doing, because I know one thing, Honey, you will look just as gorgeous as the ladies of Beverly Hills did it as reunion. 00:01:21 Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, right stunning. I wanted to talk about their fits. I didn't know if you were going to go there, but okay, let's go there. Who was your favorite? 00:01:32 Speaker 1: Oh good, ques, you know what? Okay, because maybe unpopular opinion. I don't know. I haven't seen what people have been saying. I like rachel Zoe's. 00:01:42 Speaker 2: The most well shocker. 00:01:45 Speaker 1: Well, I know, right, no, because she's rachel' zae. Although it was it was very covered up from like neck to fucking toes. I just thought it looked really regal and yeah, and. 00:01:57 Speaker 2: Well it was. It was vintage jade that Mendel. Did you say that? No, it was vintage Jamie Mendel, So that's really rad. But I loved hers. I loved well. I loved the way Kyle looked because I just thought it's such a different, unique look for her. But freakin Jennifer Tilley when she came out on one of the clubs from from when it's half her faces on the gown, I mean, what, oh my gosh. 00:02:19 Speaker 1: I love it, love it, love it. I can't wait to see her in next week's episode. But I love that too. With you, I thought Kyle looked very I didn't know the back was out, so I liked that the back was out. Yeah, she had a perfect hair make up for it. Durie looked pretty and soft. I like bows. 00:02:40 Speaker 2: I love bows over the top. She was like she was like an ornament. Not I mean, she was just over the top. But I just I loved all their outfits. We keep going, you go down the line, so then and then Erica Jane looked great, stunning, yep. 00:02:53 Speaker 1: Always and some looked nice. 00:02:55 Speaker 2: I loved setting stressed for her. I thought that was so. That's such a good look for her. Yeah, love and Amanda's. I thought Amanda's was so. I loved something about that. I don't know if it was the light paint that was on it or if the fact that it slit went all the way up to her booty. I don't know. I liked that one too. 00:03:13 Speaker 1: No, I thought that was good too. Thought it was really good. But nah, I thought all the girls looked gray. And my favorite part of the reunion is how it began when the re arrives on stage and she has enter on the side of where Kyle and Eric car is sitting at and she walks by them and doesn't speak. 00:03:35 Speaker 2: Well when she walks in. Though, first of all, It's hilarious. She has someone walking in with her because her heels were too high and her dress had guess had was it a train? Did have a train? I mean, why did she have someone walking with her? But anyway, she did come in and go hi girls, like as soon as she got on set. 00:03:50 Speaker 1: So I think that was. 00:03:51 Speaker 2: Her way of getting around saying hi to everyone individually, you know, like so she could just walk past Kyle and Erica. 00:03:59 Speaker 1: Yeah, it was. It was so awkward. And what made things even more awkward is when Andy asked at the top of the reunion if they see any reconciliation, and you know, Dere's like, she's always hopeful, and Kyle kind of said the same thing, and Erica says she has no hope. 00:04:18 Speaker 2: I know the others are trying to be a little bit like, okay, maybe you should leave a little room open, and Erica like slammed that door. 00:04:26 Speaker 1: Erica's like, I'm done with this. I think she knows that Derey is going to gaslight her way out of her answers and not hold herself accountable. That's what I got from it. But yeah, I don't think that. I think Erica's just like it is what it is is going to be Derie and there's nobody that can change her. So to start it off that way, because you can tell Andy's like, look, he wants this show to go on with the same cast and maybe a newbie, but he also knows that it has to make sense that they're friends, Yeah, which is why he wanted to sort of like address it at the top so that he can't implant in their minds like get it together, girls. But Eric is like, no, I'm not. 00:05:15 Speaker 2: I don't believe so do you don't you think it's like Okay, when I thought that Derey would have watched the whole season, you know, play out and see it play on in front of her and watch all the episodes, I thought she was going to come into the reading and softer. I really did, because I thought she was going to see how maybe she wasn't having as much empathy for all the other women as she should have been, And she came in harder. She's harder. 00:05:38 Speaker 1: No, that's like, that's who she is. I'm telling you, geez, geez. 00:05:45 Speaker 2: I mean there's I mean, even on this part when they on this part of the ring and when they were saying, you know, Derey. You know, we all have things going on. She still seemed like I was going through a lot in the Hampton's, you know, and this and that and or in Italy, and it's like, so were all the other women. She never it just is like over her head. It goes right over her head. 00:06:05 Speaker 1: No, it was insane. So we'll get into that. Speaking of things going over the head, we got again into this Rachel Zoe beat that occurred when she talks about Roger, her ex husband, and Andy's like, look. First of all, he gave her a big compliment. He said that, you know, when it comes to her being on the show, he never thought he'll see the day that she would be on this couch. We all love her and know her from the Rachel Zoe project, when now she's on the Housewives, and he thought she's doing a great job. Once he talked about Roger and acts if Roger was happy or had any things with the way he saw her talk about him, she admitted that he isn't happy with it, but she doesn't have any regrets either, and that you know, that's just the way it is in terms of their relationship. But the one that's thung the most is when she says she can never see herself being friends with Raga's girlfriend. 00:07:12 Speaker 2: Yeah, and I you know, I had a I had kind of a weird feeling when she said that, because in my mind it's like, I mean, I'm not going to be best friends with them or whatever, but it's like I actually did become best friends with one of Jim's ex girlfriends. I mean, she was at my wedding for God's sakes, really, and she was really good to my kids when they were together, and you know, she even helped me with my kids when I need them to stay somewhere. She would, you know, and I'd watch her daughter and her daughter come to stay with me, and we were like just one big, happy family. So I do think there's room for, you know, if you're going to have someone else in your kid's life, for there to be a friendship there, and who knows where it'll come from, you know. 00:07:49 Speaker 1: But how did you navigate fad yourself? Because I was waiting to talk to you about this because I'm like, what did this ex due to Rachel that she seems to hate her. She didn't say those words I'm saying yet, but the way she responds to her on the show, talks about her on the show. It appears to me she hates her, you mean. 00:08:12 Speaker 2: Roger's girl, like you mean Rachel appears to hate Roger's girlfriend. Yes, yeah, I get that too. I mean, I'm picking up on that as you are. But I think here's the dell first of all time, heals everything. I mean, I wasn't friends with with this said girlfriend of Jem's at the time, and when we first when they first got together, I was Withdrew and they it was it was kind of contentious, and it was like, you know, she'd be mad where I parked in the driveway and I shouldn't park there, and I need to do this, and it was just like there was just a little stupid crap that was going back and forth between us the whole while I'm just trying to keep friendly with in front of the kids. You know, it's all about the kids when you're doing pick up and drop off. But then over time it just became where we became friends, and then some a huge thing happened and then her and I got really really close and we've been good friends ever since then. Been broken up now for like three years or something or other. But four years probably, but we're just really good friends, and I just think I think Rachel's just gonna have to get over the factor unless unless Carlos, there's something more missing that happened between Roger's girlfriend or something about her that we don't know. That is why Rachel hates her so much, because I would think Rachel would want to have some kind of conversation about you know, they're with the kids, that she has the kids part of the time. So yeah, there's got to be something more to the story. 00:09:29 Speaker 1: The thing that isn't clear is whether or not this is the woman that you think broke up your marriage. Now, granted Roger broke up your marriage, I wouldn't say she did. Even if they had an affair, she's part of it, but your husband was the one that had the commitment. True, But I don't. I don't think that Roger's girlfriend was his mistress. 00:09:54 Speaker 2: I wish we would know that because you know what, though now you just said that, I have the recollection of when Kayas said, oh, then I realized that is the girl. That would mean that's the girl that broke up the marriage. So it is the mistress, and that's how his mother describes her yet right, So then in that case, Carlos, it changes the whole scenario. I get where Rachel's coming from, because it's like, you didn't have the audacity to at least make this, you know, do it the proper way, and you all had an affair, even though it's not really the girl's fault. I mean, at the end of the day, it takes two and it's Roger was the married one, you know. But I mean, but it does change things, and I can see where if that is the truth, and I think, now you're right, I think that must be the mistress. 00:10:32 Speaker 1: But that's the thing. We don't. But but the thing is, we don't know whether or not she was the mistress or she is the right We don't. Rachel hasn't said it. Maybe Lissa, if she is, and she hasn't said it, is it because she can sue you, which I'm like, if you are the mistress, that's right, whatever, But I don't I don't think she's the mistress. I think I just don't. Listen, Rachel strikes me as the type of woman who wants to see Roger suffer, and what makes her upset is he's not suffering. And he's moved on and she can't deal with that. I think when I think when people are going through a divorce, I do think there are couples where you don't want the best for your ex, you know what I mean? Like the Karda do you kind of want him to be a shell of himself? You you want him to struggle. And I think when it comes to Dread and Rachel, that's what they have in comment. Their exes have moved on and they haven't. 00:11:46 Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, I mean, I don't know. I feel like I wish I wish Rachel didn't have so much resentment towards Roger because it actually it actually is only gonna fester in Rachel and make Rachel more unhappy. You know, she could just move on and move past it. You know, she had the hot guy Sasha on the red carpet, so holy heck, I mean, spend more time with that guy, but right, I mean he was he was good look good, and they've like a very cute couple. Yeah, I wish she would would move on past that pasty anger. 00:12:20 Speaker 1: The thing is, Rachel I saw the pick of Sasha. She definitely has a type. She likes a pretty boy, because Roger was a boy here. Yeah, she likes metro sexual man. 00:12:34 Speaker 2: Yeah, but it doesn't look Yeah. I dont wonder if he's too young for her, or maybe he likes the older woman too. He looked he looks about He looked ten or so years younger. I don't know, but they look really cute together. 00:12:44 Speaker 1: Yeah, she's because the thing is this, she's fifty. 00:12:49 Speaker 2: Four, Yeah, and he looks thirty five ish. 00:12:52 Speaker 1: He definitely looked like he's in his thirties. Yeah, so she has a type. She liked you an that looks a little. He's into his his skincare, he's into fashion. 00:13:04 Speaker 2: Okay. 00:13:05 Speaker 1: He likes a manny petty. He likes to blowout, you know at dry bar. 00:13:14 Speaker 2: Well. I make John go get manny petties with me, So don't make fun of that. 00:13:17 Speaker 1: I take a pot. I'm just saying that does John like a blowout? 00:13:23 Speaker 2: And no, he has his He definitely has his set dates on when he gets his hair done. He gets his hair cut every every four weeks at the exact same time like he's he's he takes care of himself. I'll just say that it's it's nice. He's very groomed. 00:13:36 Speaker 1: I love it. That's what I'll say. Rachel likes a very groomed Yeah. 00:13:41 Speaker 2: She's not gonna be dating the mountain man with the beard and the and the cowboy hat. You know, she likes the She does like the the clean cut, groomed guy. But I mean it's Rachel Zoe. Look at her, hello, No, everything. 00:13:54 Speaker 1: She's everything, beautiful woman. 00:13:56 Speaker 2: Did you notice when did you notice when Andy asked Rachel about what he does and she was Andy was talking about that, And did you notice Amanda's looks wheneverever Andy would say something about he was a online motivator or whatever, and all the way Amanda would look like she was like she was smirking, and I don't know, I wondered what was going through her head. 00:14:19 Speaker 1: I am going to give you my strong POV of this ship right here. Okay, brain drops. It was revealed that you know, Rachel's dating this guy, and I thought it was too the way she was sort of like very diddy, because you know, like you know, as girls, when you first fought to love, you're just like, oh not love. When you put the butterfly you like somebody, you wait. 00:14:44 Speaker 2: Carlos, she was acting like they're just friends. You think they're more, because she was like, we are friends, we are friends or friends. I mean she was acting like, no, they're more. 00:14:53 Speaker 1: Okay, I think listen, do I think they're they're exclusive? Maybe not, but they're definitely boinking. Their friends would be their friends would benefits, and she was getting over this guy. The best part was when it was revealed that Rachloseau's boyfriend as a relationship coach and personal development expert, how he does like love and intention And you look at Amanda and I'm like, Racheloseau, you big hypocrite. You dragged what Amanda did for a living throughout the entire season. I don't understand your manifestation courses. Her man sells online courses as well. He does things with alignment, intention, love and all that shit, so does Amanda. You thought it was a crockets shit with Amanda do it, but because of your groomed boyfriend with the dry bar blowout, because he does it too, it's acceptable. But I was mad because Alexis. I wish Amanda would have said something like I need you to clock in. I would have said, well, how rich is that, Rachel? How rich is that? 00:16:17 Speaker 2: You're so right? I didn't even think about it. I didn't think about she was, but you know what, you know what happens, Tonny, when you're at those reunions. Sometimes you'll remember something and it'll kind of fester in you, like when you have your hour lunch break or whatever, and then when it comes on Amanda and they're talking to Amanda, that might be when she looks at Rachel and addresses it. There might be another time where it actually registers in Amanda that that just happened and she can go, you know, and I didn't appreciate the fact that your cracking on me, but your boyfriend does almost what I do. You know, there might be a time it might come back and you don't leave hoping Amanda yet Amanda had clocked in. I will say that she does not. She clocks in for this season. She doesn't miss a beat. 00:16:53 Speaker 1: So she did, she did, and we'll get to her too. So No, I just thought that was very rich because to say they he does things with like mind body alignment. I'll was like, once again, Amanda is vindicated right now. She was vindicated again in the rest of the episode. But up next we have Erica Jane, who by the way looked gorgeous. Is she clocked in? I felt like she was co hosting the reunion, by the way, right. 00:17:23 Speaker 2: I just love her. I just I just love her. I don't know. And even after this episode, like the whole season actually, but then this, you know, this reunion, I just I just love her. I just think she's got she's got so much more to her than She's kind of one of those that slow rolls out, you know, like throughout the last ten years she's been on or whatever nine years it's been, she kind of slow rolls out. But I just you get to know more about her, and it's just like, yeah, and she did. She was she was basically running the show. 00:17:51 Speaker 1: I loved it. I loved it. I loved it. What she talked about in her package was, obviously she spoke about the fmastic abuse. She was yes, and she said the way she left the relationship was her calling mine one one, which you know, she talked about that to Denise Richards. But the stuff that surprised me was when she was talking about her ex husband, Tom Gerardi, when she said that he was emotionally and financially abusive. 00:18:29 Speaker 2: Can you even believe that she was with him for that many years and pulled it together on a national television show all the while, and did not let us see one glimpse of that when they would film together, that he was emotionally abusive to her. I just can't even I can't believe it. It's so hard. She lived a lot of years like that. Weren't they together twenty yes? Good God? 00:18:54 Speaker 1: And then when she said he did not talk to her for six weeks. 00:18:59 Speaker 2: Your husband, who you live in a house with, guarantee this week. But yeah, yeah, Carlos. Their house is the size of a hotel, so it doesn't matter. They could be in someone could be in Barbados and someone else's as Mohamas. It's fine, but like, but no, it stills still. It's like, oh my gosh, six weeks is like, what would you do. I wouldn't be able to do that. I'd go sit down and say, let's talk. Like I couldn't go six weeks. I couldn't even go six hours. 00:19:22 Speaker 1: I'm gonna say, I, okay, what was the longest time you every day? Your husband or anybody in the past. The silent treatment. 00:19:36 Speaker 2: I don't want to talk about like boyfriends. I would only talk about like my husband or John or Drew, because those are my three main relationships in life. I would say not even twenty four hours. I mean like, I mean, if if one of like Drew, lived on the other over a mountain and I lived here, and I think I think one day we got into something, he left and we didn't talk that night, and then we talked the next morning. I mean, it's nothing. It would not be. I can't. I can't sit on stuff like that, you know. I I got to talk it through. 00:20:05 Speaker 1: That's why I'm shot. The longest I gave my ex was I mean, listen, I'm a talker like you. I want to say maybe, I don't know, six seven hours, you know. And then he I remember him saying this to me because he's like, of course, this is when we made up. He said, I'm with you because you're talking to him. So your solid treatment bothers me because it's sort of like who he doesn't recognize me? So to go six weeks of living in a house with somebody and they're not talking to you ghost to show you how emotionally abusive, narcissistic, what the type of man he was, which is why unfortunately to listen I don't wish battle anybody, only God right us. But it goes to show you that the stuff that you did to these victims, it goes to show you that Tom never really had a genuine heart. 00:21:13 Speaker 2: Well, there's two things I want to say. First of all, what would you do if you were with one of your people, the people you've dated, and they just wouldn't talk to you? And like, in my mind, I'm like, did Erica even try? Did she go in and try to talk to him and he would just not talk to her? Or did they did he literally like just leave the house and not come back, or like because how? Because I would be like I would follow John around until he finally just sat down with me. I'd be like the little annoying and okay, well now what you know, and just follow him around? So what what would you do? 00:21:43 Speaker 1: Hey, listen, I'm like you. The thing is this, I would do the solid treatment. And because I knew that I have power in the situation, just based on me being a talker and Alexis I was always right. So but I want to say there was one time he gave me the solid treatment, and I just remember giving him his space, right because I gave him a space, but I've made sure I was in the house. And then we had this rule where we had to say good morning to each other somethink. The next morning I said good morning and he was like, good morning, and that broke the eyes. So I can't imagine doing that for two months. 00:22:30 Speaker 2: But that was that was good that you guys have that rule, is what I want to say. But yeah, I just can't even I can't even put myself in the position of where Erica was to where you go for six weeks and you don't because I mean, even if I'm mad at John or something, I'm still we still say Hi. It's like Hi, we still talk, you know, like it's like, yeah, we really get mad very often. I'm just saying, but it's like it happens. But it's like I can't And if you and I don't look at it as silent treatment with my relationships, I look at it as we both need to process and think about what just happened and then talked about it a few days A few not a few days, excuse me a few hours later, Like I don't look at it as I don't think silent treatment is a very healthy thing. So I really try to still stare clear that what about the fact that Tom never went to any of her Broadway shows or any of her performances or read or read her book. Wouldn't I mean John would probably be in on every page I was right as I was writing it. If I was writing a book like interested, you know what I mean, Like it's so weird. 00:23:26 Speaker 1: But I'm gonna tell you. I'm gonna tell you what that means to me. What because he had the money in the relationship, and because he and this is this is Tom Gerrawi's mind. To me, he felt like I rescued you from a waitress, and I've given you this great life we live in. We live in the Pacific Palisades, you get to jet say and do all these things. He's like, I don't have to do much. I can do the bare minimum because of what I've given you, you would still be waiting on tables. You're so right. It wasn't for me so to know why he never showed upting her events or her Broadway shows, he did not read her book, and how she admitted that she protected him even on the show, and then to add insult to injury when she said how she would be so afraid to film with him because she never knew what would come out of his mouth. 00:24:37 Speaker 2: Yeah, no, no, it wasn't that. Well, maybe she said that too, But the other part was she was worried about what she was going to say and then what ramifications would happen when she got home. Yeah, she said, I was worried about what I would say, and I had to worry about constantly, worry about what I would say and if it was going to be bad, and give her a silent treatment again for six weeks. You know that she lived twenty years of agony. You know, I'm sure there were a good time thrown in there, Carlos, But you know, and that I think a lot of men do think that. I think a lot of men think if they've got the money, that I'm doing my job. I don't have to do a lot of ELTs. I don't have to have the emotional connection or the physical It's just I'm I'm the money provider and here you are, You're the candy on my arm kind of thing. 00:25:16 Speaker 1: You know. That's it. That's how they feel. 00:25:19 Speaker 2: And I'm just so glad that it didn't break Erica and she literally like flourished during that time, like she still was obviously you know, giving time for her talents and knowing that she was a talented human and and didn't just curl up in a ball and and you know, she look at what she blossomed into. 00:25:36 Speaker 1: It. 00:25:36 Speaker 2: It was it was a great story. 00:25:39 Speaker 1: Yeah, it was. It was really really really sad to know that this was what she was going through at that time. And when Andy said, if you could ask him one question, what would it be? And she said, why did you throw me out like this? Yeah, for me to with all of the stuff that I have to go through. 00:26:03 Speaker 2: And by the way, stuff I didn't know about lies and things you did behind your my back and you left me in this position. 00:26:09 Speaker 1: H It's it's just it's it's and that's. 00:26:13 Speaker 2: Why I get really frustrated with dere because when you because I could even feel in my stomach is heavy and my heart's heavy right now for Erica knowing all of that, and it's like, how can Duret, who was one of her best friends, simply on the reunion even just kind of like washed by it, Like, well, I'm sorry, you weren't talking about it, so I'm sorry. 00:26:30 Speaker 1: Yeah, like someone's. 00:26:31 Speaker 2: Saying it's like someone's saying, well, I'm sorry your mom died. You don't talk about it, but I'm sorry she died. And it's like, well, I don't have to talk about it. She died and I think about her every day and it's very sad, and you know, it's like that's where it feels like it's so it's like just because you're not talking about it every minute of the day, the pain's not there, right. 00:26:50 Speaker 1: And it's not and that and that's the thing for me, is like it's not even fair. But no, I thought Erica gave some much more insight in her world because we know she's private, which of course is an oxymoron because she's on a reality show, but nonetheless she nonetheless you know she is. She is still private, and even Teddy Mellencamp said on her podcast that de Re definitely knew that Erica went through all of that at this time, even prior to the show, which is why it was her like, I just don't believe anything to Reed says, but alexis one of the best moments, and listen, maybe the best moment of this reunion is doing the commercial break yes to read if she is using the chandel makeup kiss she gave her a few years ago. Reges, yes, that's how much she meant to me, and Erica screams same and rolls her eyes, and I'm like. 00:28:01 Speaker 2: And then and then Erica goes under her breath, Erica goes, you get what you give. Oh, it's great, great? 00:28:11 Speaker 1: What did you think about that? Like, why do you think Eric coughs up in me to make a point of. 00:28:16 Speaker 2: That, because she's trying to say, I love you so much. I bought you a makeup bag and you're still using it, and it's like, that's how close we are, Like, and that's a Channel makeup bag, that's a three thousand dollars makeup bag. So it's like, you know, I love you this much and you love me enough that you're still using it. So I think she wanted to make a point and be like, we used to be real friends, like we used we used to be true friends, and you're forgetting all of our history and then you want to act like someone you've known two seasons is better friends with you than what the decade we've had a friendship. It's all deeper. It's deeper than just that makeup bugs. 00:28:49 Speaker 1: That makes sense, That makes sense, and do you think what do you think they're knew what she was trying to do, which is why she made that comment of yes, And this pretty much goes to show you how much I care about you, Like I don't think I shouldn't make up kid meant that. And I also wanted to clarify did Erica gift her the bag? Did she loan it to her? And did we never gave it back to her? 00:29:23 Speaker 2: That me no, because Erica said, is that that bag I gave you at that one holiday? And it's like Erica couldn't even remember if as a birthday or Christmas or what And Dreik goes, yeah, and that's how much I think. Honestly, Erica was just trying to be a little bit of a you know, a little bit of a fucker and saying being like, look, girlfriend, you know like I gave you good gifts, you gave me good gifts where you were friends. Like I think she was just trying to stir the pot and make a good little teaser for the break, which she did. She clocked in at that moment. 00:29:52 Speaker 1: It was so good, It was so good. I love that speaking of Dree, she talks about p K, and in this moment, she accuses Kyle of telling Mauricio things that Durit was saying on camera, and then Mauricio would take those things that Kyle told him and he would tell p K. And then she said, p K will taunt her, texting her saying oh you're not doing well, pretty much the same thing that you know she's saying. 00:30:29 Speaker 2: You know, I really didn't believe much of that, though. I don't. I don't know what do you were do you said on it? I don't really believe. I think I think Durit it's very easy for Durit to say it got back to PK. Because PK is not talking to any of those women. It's very easy for Durit to say whatever she wants about PK. So I don't think PK really heard every anything and was like, was like, oh, you're not doing well. I just I just think I think d wants everyone to you know, think that. 00:30:56 Speaker 1: I agree with you, because my thing is this, if you felt that way, you would not have wanted to meet with Mauricio one on one. 00:31:04 Speaker 2: But yeah, good point, Like you're sitting there, you're actually braining fueled with the fire because you're meeting with PK's best friend right now, and you lost that fight. You lost that that round. 00:31:14 Speaker 1: You know, which is why she's acting that way. She's acting that way because she lost that battle. She lost the battle of try to turn the audience against Pique by using Mauricio sit down, and because of backfire, that's why she's now making these accusations towards Kyle. 00:31:33 Speaker 2: I agree, I agree, And I think Kyle handled it fine. She didn't blow up, and it kind of just it was a very short snippet of it, and I think, you know, I mean, Kyle's got a lot of anger in her though. You can see she's going to go off this reunion, I can see it. 00:31:48 Speaker 1: Do you think Kyle wasn't the wrong when Dared said, you know, she doesn't understand why Kyle's worried about her spending habits. Rachel Zeau had a friend who closed the store down, and Deree wanted to spend money because the frank closed the store down, and she wants to make sure that, you know, he got something out of it, and she spent four thousand dollars. But Kyle was like, you are not in the same I'm not in the same financial position as you. 00:32:19 Speaker 2: I don't think there's anything wrong with saying that it's true. I mean, do you you you don't agree with me? I mean I think I think there's I don't think it's anyone. Let me say it this way, it's not really anyone's business what Dereit decides to do with her money. But I mean, with how much Derrett has has kind of crapped on the other girls in the group this season, I mean, I don't think it's any wrong that Kyle says to her. You know you you don't You're not in the same financial situation. I mean, Carlos, her house is getting foreclosed on. So four thousand dollars is a lot of money when you think your house is getting foreclosed on. So I mean, there's just not much else to say than that. And and I don't think there's anything wrong with Kyle pointing it out, Like maybe it's nobody's business. But at the same time, you're on a reality show trying to pull all these things out of each other. 00:33:07 Speaker 1: So I think listen, all is fair in love, money, and war. So if you're going to say that, you know you better hope that one day you don't be in my position. And Kyle's like, I'm not in your same financial position, like I'm just not. I think that's fair to say, because listen, I don't think Kyle is saying to her, you know, poor reed, the way Ston did last season, right, poor read. I think Colin saying, don't try to even put that on me, because I know how much money is spent, I know who's paying the mortgage. I'm aware of where my money is coming and going, right, And I think that's what Kyle was trying to say. But again she said in a very snippy way, and I think I thought it was fair to say that. 00:34:03 Speaker 2: So I killed you good point about what you just said, because here's the thing they asked story point blank. They said, but do you know that PK is paying off the house now or did you know he was going to pay off the house? And she said I thought he was. So their point is you're not on top of the finances. You're not on top of knowing what's being done and what's being paid because it didn't get paid, and so that was part of their point. So that was you're right, You're absolutely right. 00:34:27 Speaker 1: About that, and that's why. 00:34:28 Speaker 2: Wow, that's why she ended up sent Kyle ended up saying, and I'm not in the same financial situation as you. Like, that's part of that too. It all ties in together. 00:34:37 Speaker 1: If it is what it is, And that's why when she when Deie was trying to say, like, you know, I don't have any money problems, and Erica under her breath was like, but your home, your home is being proclosed on, and she addresses the foreclosure by saying that p K p K is going to bring the house current and they will then look for a house. Baby, you are delusional. P K is not Why the world would p K pay his past due balance and then find you a brand new house. It makes no sense. 00:35:20 Speaker 2: And why wouldn't have already paid it all off exactly? Why wouldn't it already been if he was going to do it, what's he waiting for? It would be made current already. 00:35:30 Speaker 1: And that's the what calls like, bitch, I'm not we're not the same financial position, because not And we'll learn this next week. Kyle owns half of the agency. 00:35:40 Speaker 2: I know. Wasn't that a I was like, I mean, it's true, you're on half of whatever your partner and you have together as long as you're married, so it's not like it's legal. She gets half of it period. I don't even think Mauricio is the type that cares. I don't think he's good. She's gonna be no a non factor in it. She just gets part of the money. She's not to be an operating fact. 00:36:02 Speaker 1: You know, yeah, I heard. The reason why I don't think he cares either is because I think for him, I think he's just like he. I think Mauricio understands that Kyle, because she said this. She was the one that encouraged him, like we're both going to take our real estate exams, okay. And when he did lead Kathy Hilton's husband Rick Hilton's the Hilton Incorporated Agency, they had a falling out and Kyle still by his side. Kyle and Kathy did not speak for years because Marie, you know, and I think Mauricia knows that you encouraged me to take my real esteat exam. You encourage encourage for your brother in law's company. You urged me to start this company with you. And on top of that, let's be fucking clear, this massive show that you've been up for fifteen years, helped thank you be a household name. Thank you so thank you Kyle. I could. I think Marisa knows I literally could not do this with value. 00:37:21 Speaker 2: Yeah, I agree, And you know, I also think that they have such a love for each other, like like they're not like the typical divorced people getting going through this operation. I think they both have such a love for each other that even though they're not going to be married, or maybe they will work it out in five years, who knows, but I think that they just they don't have that animosity about, you know, and they have three beautiful daughters together. I just think they have a really there They're the epitome of what you would want a divorce to look like, you know, annakable, not fighting over money, just understanding the value each of you bring to the table, because they both bring value. M hm. 00:38:00 Speaker 1: I can agree. More so, then Erica tries to give advice to Derey, saying she knows what exactly she needs to do. But I feel like is falling on depth airs. For I just think the refeels like I got this all figured out and the staff part is and this is no shade to the ree I just think dry. I don't think dere is savvy enough to understand the mechanics of how to get out of the situations he's in, because she also, you have to know how you got in it to get out of it. Yes, you know what I mean, Alexis and I don't think. I don't think she has the tools to hold herself accountable when it comes to you put yourself in this situation. 00:38:55 Speaker 2: Well, I wonder if even if they're inamicable enough place, dre And and Piquet to talk about it at all, like the way he would sit down and tell ladurit and say this is what we need to do to get out of it. I feel like they're they're almost like like do they ever even talk about it? Like what are the next steps that need to happen? 00:39:12 Speaker 1: Yeah, well she did say that they're cordial now and she yeah, yeah. 00:39:21 Speaker 2: I didn't know if I should believe that or not. 00:39:23 Speaker 1: What do you think it's true? 00:39:25 Speaker 2: I don't know, Carlos, It's just like they're it's like they're never they never have been. I just wonder why now. Maybe because he saw how bad it was when they weren't talking, so maybe they should be amicable. 00:39:34 Speaker 1: I don't know, yeah, yeah, yeah, it's it's. 00:39:39 Speaker 2: I just I'm sad because I really really really thought and I loved to Ree and you've told you this, like I am going to read her books. I think she's fascinating. But I'm sad because I really thought she was going to come in softened after watching herself. And it just makes me sad because I think she is a good person and I think she's just does she's a little she's not singing clearly right now. 00:40:00 Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I just don't think she has the I don't think she has the tools to be sensitive or to hear people out. I think I think it is what Erica said. I think she's just self absorbed. 00:40:16 Speaker 2: But is that because it's something new or was she like this on other like the last couple of seasons. 00:40:21 Speaker 1: I believe she was always like this. It's just now more compounded because she is unapologetic about it, because she's being rewarded for being like this because it gives her airtime and she gives to keep her job. So it's having a good performance review based on her. 00:40:38 Speaker 2: Employer at the expensive two of your best friends. 00:40:41 Speaker 1: Though, I think she feels like I care more about me and not being left on the streets. I think I think Derie has big concern about being poor and that means I lose two friends out of it. That I do believe that. How did you feel when dere wanted to make sure that she addressed Amanda's comment that Amanda made to her husband this season where she said that is to be mad because she outsourced her financial will being to a man and it did not go well. 00:41:26 Speaker 2: Pretty brutal to say. And I agree with Rachel Zoe because when she said, you know that it kind of attacks women who want to be a stay at home mom, because that's where the category I fell into, you know, Jim and I agreed I would quit my career and I would be a stay at home mom and it didn't make me any lesser of a you know, hard working human. But it was just it was kind of a low blow. I didn't love that. Erica said that, what did you think or did you think it or Amanda said that I know, I'm sorry abandoned or did you think that that was a well deserved thing to say? 00:42:01 Speaker 1: Well, look, I think it's shade for shade. I think I think if we go back to where Amanda was at the time she said it. This was right after Derte would not stop talking to her about her issues when she had formed her Today is the anniversary of my son's death, and Dery still felt the need to attack her verbally. I think Amanda at that time of when she said it again, I believe in you can't teach me how to fight fair when you when you do the first glow. Now, if she would have said that independently and Dere's crying, then I yeah, that's a fucked up thing to say. But I think based on the history of Derit and Amanda at that time she said it during filming, I think Amanda was warranted. 00:42:52 Speaker 2: That's a good point. I forgot about the fact about that it started with Derete and Amanda's first He was talking about her firstborn died and it seemed like Dorit had not one compassion in her body. But that goes back to what I've been saying all season, is that Dery just doesn't have empathy for anyone right now. But you're right, it started there. I just I don't know. I still just I guess I feel like maybe the low blows don't just don't need to keep going like maybe you know, but I do. I do appreciate that Amanda apologize. She did say, yeah, I can see how you've be taken that way, and I apologize for that. So I like that she turned that around. Amanda makes things positive even when that's negative. 00:43:29 Speaker 1: So that's good, yes, and that's why I love Amanda for the show. Speaking of Amanda, here is a time where Honey, Andy Cohen is ready to talk to Amanda about what she has going on, and he says, not since Camill Grammar let up an audience, which is a that's a heavy statement to make because I remember the Camill Grammar days. 00:43:56 Speaker 2: What was what did? What did Camille do that let everyone up so much? What her persona like? 00:44:01 Speaker 1: Okay, so season one of Beverly Hills, Camille was unapologetically herself. She will brag about having four nannies because she has four kids, and she's like, I need a nanny for each child, and she said it in a way that you were like, oh, okay. But but then she would say because I'm so busy, and then you would cut through her ling by the pool. You're like, ah, we want to get busy doing right and then she would just say certain things that wasn't PC. So Camille Grammar was on the cover of US Weekly magazine with the title the most Hated Housewife. 00:44:47 Speaker 2: Oh so she So the audience did not like it, Like, they didn't take her. 00:44:50 Speaker 1: They didn't like her, no, which is why, because she was polarizing. 00:44:54 Speaker 2: Got it. 00:44:55 Speaker 1: So when Andy made that reference to Amanda, it's sort of like, well, I want that she took it as a compliment or not. But her eyes did light up and she like feathered her hair. Was like, let's be clear, Amanda loves the moment. You know, she manifested it for her, So she loved it. And this is the part that I'm curious how you're gonna feel because I feel very strongly about this. The ladies have it out for a Manda doing this segment. All the ladies, yes, when they said, we do feel like you emasculate your husband. Yes, the way you talk about bringing the breadwinner, the way you talk about you bought the house. You know, these are things that men don't like. And we're trying to tell you that this isn't a good look and no man's gonna stand up for it. And in my mind. I felt this way. All Amanda has to say is will raise your hand if you're so married? Oh, because apparently it's working for me. And I think this, this is how I feel. But I would love to get your thoughts because you and you and these women besides Amanda, y'all are the same age and come from a different generation. So I wanted to get your thoughts on this. 00:46:22 Speaker 2: I mean, I am not the same age as them. I am forty nine. I am not sixty. Most of them sixty. 00:46:27 Speaker 1: The only one who was six sons sixty. Dere no, dere is young. 00:46:32 Speaker 2: Oh okay, okay, gonna know I'm like, I am not sixty. Okay, you after after what you're looking at. 00:46:39 Speaker 1: Right now, you think I was, well, babe, you'll be twenty nine next week. Okay. So with that being said, I felt that Amanda. I didn't think Amanda deserved their advice in terms of what a man doesn't appreciate when Amanda this comes from a very different generation, and I think the women of a couch comes from a generation to where yes, you don't talk about your husband that way, especially on camera, even if you are the breadwinner. And when Rachel said I would have never done it. Rachel Zo, I love you, but I gotta keep you honest. I watch all five seasons of the Rachel Zel Project, and Rachel zol you did talk to Roger that way. Rachel, you emasculated Roger and his bangs. Definitely used to talk crazy to your husband. And I'm not gonna say this because it's made come across from me and I'm not trying to be Maybe that's why you guys are having issues today because Rachel was not was not, you know, the kindest to Roger. Well, I took it at y'all worked together, and maybe that's just the dynamic y'all have. But what do you think? Do you think the Ladies Wow was warranted for the advice they gave. 00:48:19 Speaker 2: Okay, well, first of all, yes, I think they're warranted because this is a show about you're supposed to you're supposed to give advice and feelings and you're supposed to talk things through. So yes, I think it's warranted. Here's the thing I think when like, like my ex husband was the breadwinner and the one that made all the money and I raised the kids. He didn't go around talking about it and bragging about it. He just everyone knew like stays home. She's she's the stay at home mom, and I'm I'm the one that brings in the money. So I just feel like, like I don't really know many men whose wives I know are the stay at home wives that go around boasting about, Oh but I bought the house, not my wife. Oh but I bought the cars, not my wife. Oh but I paid for the kid's school, not my wife. I just don't I bought my bags, not my wife. I don't know that that's just a normal thing. So I think if you look at it and from that kind of perspective, like whether it's male or female, man or woman, I just think it's awkward to be the one that goes I did all this. You know, if you're in a loving relationship, it's teamwork, and it's every it's everything. Everything's everyone's but so and I do think the women came from a place of, especially Erica Jane, a place of your husband's going to resent you at some point. It does get down there in fester and even though he acts like it doesn't, he's trying to play it cool. He wants to look like the you know, the big guy you know there's times people hurt my feelings and I brush it off and say, no, that didn't know. It doesn't bother me at all, But it hurts. Didn't hurt my feelings, But you don't want to make a big deal about it. You know, there's a chance for her husband could be doing that and be like, I don't want to make a big deal about this, you know, because I know that Erica or I know that Amanda is very strong in her career and strong in her belief system that women should rule this world and or be you know, be su We'll not rule the world, but be very successful and manifest what they want. I don't know, So I just think that if if she just would lessen it a little bit, it's fine. I mean, she said one thing like, you know, I'm just really proud of myself because I've actually bought our house, and that's the only thing she said on the whole time about bragging about everything that she does. I think it would it wouldn't be a big deal. I don't think the husband would care at all. But when it's every single time they're sitting down talking, it seems like she's always the one saying that It's like, how many times do the women need to hear that? They know now and so does all of America. I feel bad for the husband, and he seems like a great guy, you know, he. 00:50:35 Speaker 1: Does no he's mine. But I do like the fact that he did tell her that one comment that bothered her because he said it made it seem like he just pretty much wasn't doing anything right. 00:50:46 Speaker 2: So that just shows you, Carlos, that just shows you if that one comment he was honest about, there's four more that he didn't say. Oh, just let you know. There's there's more that bothers in that he's just letting. He just mentioned the one hoping he could get her attention and maybe she sh'd stop, But that means there's more. So Erica Jane is right. It's gonna sit in fester in him, and in ten years you don't know what resentment comes out of that, which is not good. That's why I tell John when I first met him, I said, we have to talk everything through, doesn't matter how small it is. If we have a problem one of us doesn't like something, you talk it through right that minute, even if it seems small, because the small thing's not small. In ten years they grow. He's clapping his hands. You can't hear him. 00:51:28 Speaker 1: But oh, that's good advice. That's okay, that's good. 00:51:32 Speaker 3: I No, you got me with if he mentioned that one thing that bothered him, oh, trust and believe there was four others before that. 00:51:45 Speaker 1: Oh well. 00:51:46 Speaker 2: It's kind of like they say, there's that saying that it says if people one person think, if one person says it, there's seven others that are What is that saying? I can't think of it now, but it's the ratio of one in seven. It's like, if one person thought it, seven others thought it too. I don't know, I can't. I shouldn't have started. 00:52:04 Speaker 1: That that that actually makes sense. But the other thing with Amanda too is I do feel like when they're saying you lead with the money, you lead with the the the labels you have, And she was like, but I'm on a show with other women who are also rich and they like labels. And I'm like, again, I'm not trying to take the for Amanda all the time. But I unders like Andy said, the fucking set is Dalo Drive. There's a big right here, there's shopping bags here, there's mannequin Donald Royce. Yeah, like, what are we doing here? So and then Erica said, you told me camera guy to get the to get your person. She was like it was a cute perse. And maybe I'm a little bit non affected by or none by it because I am a producer and who did Housewives, so I can tell you this. We were told to show those things, and the women knew they had to show up wearing it. And not only that, the girls would I'll speak for my cast when I did a lantern jersey, those housewives would definitely say, okay, bitch, get my shoes. But I how about the car I got? But Alexis, they were get excited, Carlows, but I got some a good old nasty shoe for you today, And I'm like, oh, I get wait to see it. So I didn't think that was a big deal. Because Jennifer Tilly talks about her forty thousand dollars Gucci bag that broke, I don't know. I thought they would be too hard on her there. 00:53:45 Speaker 2: I think it's I think they were too hard on her about that only because they also they also don't like her a ton right now because they're thinking she's not letting them, Like Erica said, you're not letting us see your heart. You're only talking about your money and what you can buy and what you do, and you're not talking about like you're not You're not letting us see who you are. So I think that part of it is they they don't want to hear any more about her money. And I think it's also Jennifer Tilly doesn't go around talking about her money all the time. She talked about her forty thousand dollars back because it's lost its nose and its ear and its tongue. So you know, I feel like I feel like it's totally different. I mean, if one of the girls say one thing about an item, no one's gonna care about it. They're going to move on. But it's because of the fact that Amanda keeps reiterating all of it throughout and I'm I'm with you. I mean, you are on a TV show with a lot of rich people, and that is what all these shows are about. You want to see the style, you want to see what they're coming out, and you want to Yeah, you know, it's half the fun. 00:54:39 Speaker 1: You want to see it, and shit, I want to see it. The moment that Bows you know I love you, and I said before this is your greatest season. I'll all call this or a sophomore's slump. This moment officially was the final nail the coffin of Bows. This is the worst season for you. So amandam Bows are going at it and Bowse decides to tell Amanda because they're talking about the online courses, and Amanda's like, but you told me your courses were losing money, and was like, I would never tell you that. Why would I say that to you. We weren't even close like that, while I tell you my business if that was the case, and it's not the case. I teach at Harvard. I do all the means of Harvard, and it's like, both, I love you, my dog. A diver can get into Harvard. At this point, Harvard is not. And this is no shame. This is no shade Harvard. And I need people to understand this in case they don't know. There is Harvard University where college students are there based on their academia. How then there's Harvard where Harvard has these business courses. Tarvard Banks took these courses. My personal friend in the business went to Harvard, and she was in the same class as Michael straighthand for two days. And you walk away with saying you went to Harvard because Harvard is so prestigious that just blurting the word out and having any association with Harvard means a lot of people. And listen, kudos to you. And I want to say this, it ain't free right when you when you're doing this. So when when bo says she was teaching at Harvard, it was like you were a professor. You were doing things based on what that particular institution has. That makes it more welcoming for other people who are getting in based on their academic record, right right. So when she was talking about that, and then once again she said, I never said it. Oh baby, in the world, how Richard's to Nancy. I mean, Natalie, Natalie, you were forgotten already. No Shade rolled that beautiful bean footage and bows. Alexis Bowles said it verbatim. 00:57:30 Speaker 2: Yes, I don't make any money on that. She said those words and then, but she never owned up to it. I don't think that they showed her the be roll. I don't think they showed Bose the b roll. No, they didn't so Bo still has no idea until she watches this reunion that she looks like a dumbass on that section, like like she said it, she said it. 00:57:50 Speaker 1: Wow. 00:57:52 Speaker 2: I mean, I you know you you have kind of had it out for Bose, like she's irritated you all season because you know, I guess you loved her so much last seas them. But maybe she'll come around next season. Maybe now she's in her she'll be in her junior years. There's something about her that I really like her though. I just love there's even her outfit. I know it's over the top. I know it's crazy. I know people are probably like, Okay, what in the hell she's wearing. I freaking loved it. I thought it was awesome. 00:58:17 Speaker 1: No, she looked gorgeous. She looks stunning. And for me, now listen, the thing I like about her is listen. I'm gonna tell you exactly the mistake that bowls may and both. If you're listening, feel free to go on my DMS and it'll be fine. The thing with Bows is this Bows last season was a breadth of fresh air because she was in her own element. What happened with Bows was the fact that she survived her first season. Everyone liked her, I think, and they all do it. So Bows's no different than any other realities are. When you're so herald did your first season, you kind of go into your second season filling yourself and you want, especially on Housewives, and you want to make sure that you're a part of the cool girls. Because I don't care what anyone says, there is an element to Beverly Hills Housewives, unlike any housewives, where everybody wants to be a part of the clique, which is why Deree is saying Kyles want to get her army, and I think Bowles felt comfortable knowing that she had she survived her first season and she had these friendships, and Bowles fell into the unfortunate trap of hazing the new girl because it was an easy target. Ah, it was an easy target to get Amanda Yeah. And what Bows didn't, what Bose underestimated, was the audience liking Amanda. 00:59:54 Speaker 2: Yeah, and both forgot how hard it was to be the new girl that she was once sat in those shoes, That's what she quickly forgot. 01:00:01 Speaker 1: Also, yes, yes, yes, that's exactly what happened. So that's why for me It's one of those things where I'm just like, I think Bowse listen, She's gonna be fine. But I think bows Is going to have to realize that we fell in love with you because you stood on your own. We didn't mind you befriending your your you know, to read, because we saw how it made sense for you. So we said, okay, fine, but this you, you teaming up with the ladies to go against a new girl was a bad move. And you're caught lying twice. You lied about referencing her with the mask. I did say that. 01:00:46 Speaker 2: Oh I forgot about that one. 01:00:50 Speaker 1: Yeah, yes you did. Then my man was like, you said you were losing money, and I would why would I tell you that? I don't know you. I would never tell you that. Yeah, only to say, you know, I lost money on my businesses and I'm fine with that. Yeah, so will the real bowl stand up? Who is the slim shady? And That's how it ended. But I will say this, Alexis, you were right because I said, oh gods, three parbar unions and maybe filler. But this first part was really good. 01:01:26 Speaker 2: Yeah, and see I thought this first part was boring, but I watched the Root for the next one, and I'm like, oh, it's gonna be good. Now. They had to do that little the little beginning of it of what they did just now, But the next two are going to be so good. 01:01:38 Speaker 1: Yeah. I was into it. I was into it. So rain jobs.
