Hey, Hi, we're recording today. 00:00:15 Speaker 3: Hi. 00:00:16 Speaker 4: Hi, how are y'all? 00:00:17 Speaker 3: Hi? 00:00:18 Speaker 4: How are ya? 00:00:18 Speaker 3: It's a it's. 00:00:20 Speaker 5: Thursday, And tell everyone why we're recording today. 00:00:24 Speaker 1: Because I have jury duty on Monday. 00:00:29 Speaker 2: By the way, I've been fighting this. I've been fighting this for like over a year. And my business manager is like, you didn't deal with it. They sent me another letter. I'm like, I did. 00:00:38 Speaker 1: Deal with it, Steve, I dealt with it, motherfucker. Why do they keep coming for me? And he's like, don't even worry about it. I definitely believe you because they continue to send my mother, who's been dead for years, jury duty notices. And I'm like, I don't know how to tell you this in any other way except for she no longer exists on the planet. 00:00:56 Speaker 2: She's not here. 00:00:58 Speaker 4: You're lucky. What if you get a trial? 00:01:00 Speaker 1: Well, I'm secretly hoping it's murder because I'm I'm one hundred percent don't even need to hear he's guilty. 00:01:06 Speaker 4: They're not going to pick you. 00:01:07 Speaker 1: If you say I think the justice system has it all wrong. I think it should be guilty until proven innocent. 00:01:15 Speaker 5: Ah, we would need to build a many a jail. 00:01:22 Speaker 2: Lock them all up. 00:01:24 Speaker 5: Could you imagine if you do get trial and it goes on for months. 00:01:29 Speaker 2: Oh, I'd have a lot of podcast content. All you have to talk about it until it's over, that's fine, But. 00:01:37 Speaker 4: We could start a new podcast based off of the trial. 00:01:41 Speaker 2: Yeah, I know, I know. 00:01:43 Speaker 1: I'm secretly bummed out that I have jury duty. Like I've been trying to fight it, fight it, fight it, and finally they just got to me. And you know, I'm proud to be a productive citizen in Los Angeles, in the United States, And I'm totally kidding. 00:01:59 Speaker 2: Do not lock them until they're proven innocent. I mean, I should not be telling you how to run anything. 00:02:08 Speaker 4: No but government. 00:02:09 Speaker 6: If you hear this, I've never been asked for diry duty, and I'm starting to get a little offended because I'd really like to serve. 00:02:15 Speaker 4: So I'm here, I'm here, come get me. Isn't that crazy? 00:02:21 Speaker 1: In what other case do you need to be Do you need jurors like you need it just in trouble, Well, you need fraudulent fraudulents. 00:02:30 Speaker 6: I love the word of the year fraud eviction case is boring, but don't ask me on an eviction case. 00:02:37 Speaker 4: Ask me when you know. 00:02:39 Speaker 6: Yeah, I also a government did my own taxes a couple months ago, so yay for me, and I'm probably gonna be. 00:02:45 Speaker 4: In jail in six months. 00:02:47 Speaker 2: Wait, really, I know. 00:02:49 Speaker 4: I thought I did them really well. 00:02:50 Speaker 6: But my dad was like, Jessica, damn it. You shouldn't have done him yourself. 00:02:54 Speaker 2: I should have used like tax turbo or something I did. 00:02:57 Speaker 4: That's what I mean by myself. 00:02:58 Speaker 1: Oh well, then technically you didn't do it about yourself tax turbo did it? 00:03:01 Speaker 2: So tell your turbo tax turbot what I say. 00:03:04 Speaker 3: Tax turbo TurboTax. 00:03:08 Speaker 2: Well, either way, tell Jake it's not Jessica's problem. It's tax turbo TurboTax it myself. 00:03:14 Speaker 4: I thought, screw it. 00:03:16 Speaker 5: No, you never do it yourself. You don't know the ways. You can't get as much at you gotta. 00:03:21 Speaker 2: I don't even want to talk about what I pay in tax. Oh no, throw myself into oncoming traffic. It's fine. It's fine. 00:03:29 Speaker 6: Was it you guys telling me about the Family Guy episode where it's like they like break off from the government and then rebuild it and rebuild it, and then they end up paying taxes pretty much. 00:03:40 Speaker 3: As taxes is what it was. Again. 00:03:42 Speaker 1: No, I complain about every tax that I have to pay, and then when I see what I have to sign off on to pay taxes, and I'm furious about it. But then I'll be driving and I'm like, they need to fix this. I'll pay more taxes to have this fixed. 00:03:56 Speaker 2: Yeah. 00:03:57 Speaker 4: I gotta say, the tolls in New York so worth it. In my opinion. 00:04:01 Speaker 6: The highways are spotless, clean, gorgeous, no potholes. 00:04:05 Speaker 4: I kind of wish they had tolls here in LA because of that. 00:04:08 Speaker 6: Tolls like you pay when you're driving on the freeway. 00:04:11 Speaker 3: I think they do. 00:04:13 Speaker 2: Oh yeah, it's not a very productive system. I guess my bad. 00:04:18 Speaker 4: I take it back. 00:04:19 Speaker 3: Then. 00:04:19 Speaker 1: I love driving on the freeway sometimes, and it's like, this freeway will be complete in July of two thousand and eleven, and I'm like, wow, we're really bine. 00:04:28 Speaker 2: We should take that sign down because the fact that no one cares. Either cares, you don't need to finish the road, but at least take the sign down. You know, it's embarrassing for the day, and yet we all still choose to live here. It's wild. 00:04:47 Speaker 4: It's wild sheep. 00:04:49 Speaker 3: I tell you great weather. 00:04:50 Speaker 2: Great weather producer John pulled. Actually some amazing news for us. 00:04:55 Speaker 1: I get nervous when we when we record two episodes in one week because there are things that we're like not talking about quite yet. 00:05:04 Speaker 2: So like we rely on the news. So I'm gonna need Hollywood. 00:05:07 Speaker 1: And other people to like fuck up a little more so that I can have newsworthy shit twice in a week. Anyway, Actually, there's a lot going on in the world so much. 00:05:17 Speaker 4: Your mom sent us. 00:05:18 Speaker 1: A clip Lisa was on it. Producer John, who would like to start us off? I really want to talk about the streaming bundles because my life revolves around streaming services. 00:05:29 Speaker 6: Well, Lah, take start us off. Take us on the journey. 00:05:33 Speaker 1: Okay, Disney Plus, Hulu, and Max are all teaming together for a new streaming service where viewers for a low price can get access access. Oh the track is skipping access content from all three in one place. That is my favorite, because have you noticed at first, like Netflix was literally I think, like five dollars and now it's no longer a five. 00:05:57 Speaker 4: Dollars because everyone uses the each other's. 00:06:00 Speaker 2: It's a me. Yeah, it's a mini dollar now, but it's fine. 00:06:03 Speaker 3: I know he tried to give it to Taylor in it. 00:06:06 Speaker 2: The same household. 00:06:08 Speaker 5: Oh really they have rules now it like knows where your location is. 00:06:13 Speaker 2: Hulu has it too, and Palm Springs. 00:06:15 Speaker 1: They're like, Easton, we see that you're not in your normal location. 00:06:21 Speaker 2: Have you moved? And then if you do, if you say you moved, it kicks. 00:06:25 Speaker 1: Everybody out and you have to recite it. 00:06:27 Speaker 5: And I only had four times to do it, and I've changed my location four times, so Hulu, I don't know what the hell I had to do. 00:06:34 Speaker 3: If I move again, do I just cancel? And then they're like, you're. 00:06:37 Speaker 1: Hustling us because and you have moved forward to Well that's the thing, A have moved. But they're like, there's no way these people are moving four times in this period of time. 00:06:47 Speaker 4: Well do you know who doesn't have that slang? So hop on it while they're. 00:06:52 Speaker 2: Not love sleep that you were paying for that subscription? 00:06:56 Speaker 4: Welcome? 00:06:57 Speaker 3: Do I need to look into that. I've got Hulu. 00:06:59 Speaker 4: You have sling, You guys, use we use the same sling. Sling don't still kick us off? 00:07:03 Speaker 3: Does sling? Have Live TV. Yes, yeah, it's. 00:07:08 Speaker 1: We do not know if ESPN Plus will be included in this package. If you were to sign up for all three with ads, the price would be twenty five dollars ninety seven cents. 00:07:20 Speaker 3: I paid a lot more than I watched the ads. 00:07:22 Speaker 1: I don't give a damn. I started me well, I started playing Candy Crush, and there was a point in time where I was playing this like cooking craze game, and I was spending hundreds of dollars a month to buy spoons for more lives. 00:07:38 Speaker 4: You were addicted. 00:07:39 Speaker 2: I was addicted. 00:07:39 Speaker 3: Adicted. 00:07:40 Speaker 2: Yeah, I didn't have any talk. 00:07:43 Speaker 3: I'd ask her questions. 00:07:45 Speaker 4: And this was during the pandemic. 00:07:47 Speaker 1: This was like yesterday, yesterday, but it was when I didn't have a mortgage or two to pay. 00:07:54 Speaker 3: And so you're still ripping Candy Crush on the couch. 00:07:57 Speaker 1: So I ripped Candy Crush and to get more live when I don't win, in order I watch three ads. 00:08:04 Speaker 2: So I'm okay with the ads. 00:08:06 Speaker 1: Actually all of this is expected, not me crushing candy. The bundle is expected to be released this summer. But I have to talk about my home platform, which is Peacock because Netflix, Peacock, and Apple Plus team up. Not even a week after we learned about Disney Plus, Hulu and Max coming together to start new to start a new streaming service, Comcast has announced that Netflix, Peacock, and Apple Plus will be joining. 00:08:35 Speaker 2: Forces, joining the big dick of the streaming service as the streaming service. 00:08:43 Speaker 4: Peacock of it. 00:08:45 Speaker 5: It looks like it's just like going back in a cable I know, what are we doing rights in cable fall circuit. 00:08:52 Speaker 2: It reminds me of us talking about the government. 00:08:54 Speaker 1: How they're like, let's actually do this, and it's like, so what we've been doing. 00:08:58 Speaker 5: Pretty much, We've found that it was terrible. Let's go back to what we know. 00:09:03 Speaker 1: The streaming service will be called stream Saver. Comcast CEO Brian Roberts didn't specify on price, but said it will be vastly. 00:09:12 Speaker 2: Reduced compared to other streaming services. It is expected to be released later this month. 00:09:17 Speaker 1: They're sitting here going, how do we make it less than twenty five ninety seven but make more than Disney Plus, Hulu and Max. 00:09:26 Speaker 3: Yeah, you know, damn. 00:09:28 Speaker 6: I just hate like resetting and repurchasing all these streaming I have all the streaming apps. 00:09:35 Speaker 4: To cancel it all. 00:09:37 Speaker 1: I mean again, we have you just you'll be doing it for the family, be doing. 00:09:43 Speaker 4: It for all of us, but for her. 00:09:46 Speaker 3: For her. 00:09:46 Speaker 1: Well, I have a hard time breathing without someone telling me how it's not true. While while take you're the father of the house, you should see me at the airport. 00:09:56 Speaker 2: You're right. 00:09:57 Speaker 1: Fathers do have a hard time at the airport. They're always looking at the wife being like. 00:10:01 Speaker 3: And you want to get there three hours early just in case. 00:10:04 Speaker 4: So that's me. I make her get if I travel with lots. 00:10:06 Speaker 6: She's like, we're leaving at nine am for a four pm flight. 00:10:10 Speaker 5: I'm like, absolutely, We're gonna sit at the bar and wait for the plane. 00:10:14 Speaker 2: Can I tell you? I really do feel like a man, do you? Yeah? And I see everything that's wrong, Like I'm the man that. 00:10:24 Speaker 3: You're looking in the mirror and going, wow, this is really. 00:10:26 Speaker 1: Terrible, Like I'm not slacking. Why are all these men slacking? I've got it together. But I'm sitting there with my mother and we're looking at this cabinet in the house and she's like, the baby keeps taking all of the band days out and she's using all of them and wasting them. 00:10:41 Speaker 2: So she wants to maneuver the shelves. 00:10:43 Speaker 1: Right, LA homes, I just think newer homes they don't think about storage. And in Utah we had basements where you could like have a lot of storage to keep your stuff. 00:10:55 Speaker 2: La no basements whatever. 00:10:57 Speaker 1: So we have this like, uh dresser credenza down the hall, and I say to my mom, why don't we take all of these linens and blankets and put them in there? And my mom goes, good luck getting them in there. There's a bunch of beach towels in there, and in my head, I'm thinking beach towel. 00:11:14 Speaker 2: We've got beach. 00:11:15 Speaker 1: Towels coming out of our ears. I'm so shocked that she continues to buy so many beach towels. But whatever, I'll just let it go. Yesterday, she says to me later on, you know, I was thinking we could put the linens and things like that in the credenza. And I go, are you joking? I just said that yesterday and she goes, I didn't listen. I didn't hear you say that. And I'm like, I feel like a husband, where like the wife is like, we're not putting it in there because it's filled with beach toiwls and the husband's like, and she continues to buy more beach toiwels. 00:11:42 Speaker 2: But I'm not gonna question it. I guess we just have a lot of beach towels. 00:11:46 Speaker 4: That's what a day. It's the same energy. 00:11:48 Speaker 6: There's so much of that that goes on with you and Lise. 00:11:50 Speaker 2: It is. It's cute, it's depressing, it's very depressing. No, I love my bitch. 00:11:58 Speaker 4: She's great. 00:11:58 Speaker 2: I've been holding it down for thirty three years of my life. 00:12:01 Speaker 1: She sure has, he sure has. You can't spell Netflix without NFL, though it was announced that the streaming service will be the home of the NFL Christmas Day Games in twenty twenty four. I'm sessed with that. 00:12:19 Speaker 3: I love a Christmas Day game, love. 00:12:20 Speaker 2: A Christmas Day game. And also I love Netflix. 00:12:23 Speaker 1: And we're going to get into the Tom Brady roast, which I've asked you guys your opinion on because people are still talking about it. But I appreciate Netflix because they don't give a shit. They're like, these are comedians and we're going to let them say what they want, and we're going to continue to put things that aren't so PC and a little uncomfortable on the television because as much as you guys want to talk about it and be offended. 00:12:49 Speaker 2: There's more people who it makes really happy. So here it is. We're not taking Dave Chappelle off. 00:12:55 Speaker 1: We're giving him, actually sixty more specialists going to hope you a swallow. 00:13:01 Speaker 2: Him down your throat. I love it Chiefs versus Steelers and Raven. 00:13:09 Speaker 6: I'm a big Pittsburgh Steelers fan, Pittsburgh Penguins fan. 00:13:13 Speaker 1: Go Pittsburgh because your dad wanted to rub it in your grandpa's face, right, So we didn't like any teams. 00:13:19 Speaker 6: He raised the salt yep, No teams from New York raise us all die hard. I have a Pittsburgh Steelers tattoo that I behind my ear that I'm getting lasered off. 00:13:28 Speaker 2: Oh I can. I can mess with the Steelers who played for the Steelers. Bettis right. 00:13:33 Speaker 4: Oh my god, that is Troy Paula Mallow. 00:13:36 Speaker 2: Troy Paula Malu. 00:13:37 Speaker 4: That's what I'm saying. 00:13:38 Speaker 2: Done, I know. 00:13:39 Speaker 3: Yeah. 00:13:40 Speaker 6: Harris Harris, uh huge Harris producer John Harris. 00:13:47 Speaker 3: I'm blanking. I'm blanking, yeah, But he was huge. His last name was Harris. He was like number ninety. 00:13:54 Speaker 5: Yeah, but he would like work out with like chains on, but he. 00:13:58 Speaker 4: Was I'm low. No, I don't think it's Franco. 00:14:02 Speaker 6: I'm slowly but surely enjoying and thinking chains are hotter and hotter. And I can't tell if it's because my tastes are changing, are because you wear chains and I like the. 00:14:13 Speaker 2: Way they look to yo chain? 00:14:15 Speaker 3: Hey Loo? 00:14:15 Speaker 2: Do it wabble to the flow? Do it shine in the light? Is it platinum music? Can you throw it? It'll be a showlder? 00:14:22 Speaker 3: Is it? 00:14:22 Speaker 4: How to make it called hang Lo? Is that Joch just Aliday? 00:14:31 Speaker 3: Oh? 00:14:32 Speaker 4: No, oh, no, apologies for that. 00:14:34 Speaker 2: I don't apologize. I love when we do that. This is real life. The other game while you guys figure out who Harris is is Ravens versus the Texans, which we know where we'll be standing with the Ravens. Let's see where am i? 00:14:50 Speaker 3: Oh. 00:14:51 Speaker 1: Part of the three year deal with the NFL, Netflix also announced that in twenty twenty five and twenty twenty six they'll be streaming at least one holiday. 00:14:58 Speaker 2: Game per year. 00:14:59 Speaker 1: That's that's a big deal. That is Yeah, that's a very big deal. It is, And let's just say the two games in twenty twenty four on Christmas go like splendidly, Well, they'll absolutely give. 00:15:14 Speaker 2: Them both the games in twenty and twenty twenty six. 00:15:17 Speaker 6: Yeah you think, Yeah, James Harrison, James James Harris, producer. 00:15:23 Speaker 1: John This upcoming I found it last thing this upcoming season because we all love the NFL. 00:15:28 Speaker 2: Go Taylor Swift way. 00:15:32 Speaker 1: We'll stream across Netflix, ESPN plus Peacock Prime Video and YouTube TV. Thank goodness, that's gonna be a huge I think it's going to be a huge deal for Netflix. If Taylor Swift and TK don't break up that Chiefs Versus Steelers game. 00:15:50 Speaker 2: Oh, I'm gonna steal the deal. 00:15:51 Speaker 4: Can we go to an NFL game this year? 00:15:53 Speaker 2: You guys? 00:15:54 Speaker 3: We can go to all the NFL game one whole life. 00:15:57 Speaker 2: I've only been to one with you and broke and cheese. 00:16:01 Speaker 6: Let me tell you if we can go to one and pick a Steelers game because the terrible towels flip them around fun. 00:16:08 Speaker 3: You know. 00:16:10 Speaker 1: And tickets for the Chargers. I would like to get season tickets to. I would do Chargers just because she is there and I'm more into the company rather than like the actual game. If I had it, my way would be with the rams. 00:16:25 Speaker 3: Down for like an event. Yeah, so I would be down to go to like a Vegas game. 00:16:31 Speaker 5: Oh, that would be very fun, like the Raiders play somebody. 00:16:35 Speaker 3: Yea, yeah, yeah, but we got to make sure we picked the right hotel. 00:16:39 Speaker 2: Why. Oh, let's talk about that real quick before we get into the rest of the news. I think she sent it to the group chat Vegas. 00:16:46 Speaker 1: Some news platform just released the ten filthiest Vegas hotels. 00:16:50 Speaker 4: I got circus. Circus is on there. 00:16:52 Speaker 3: She didn't send it to me. Did she send it? 00:16:54 Speaker 2: She didn't send it to me either, She just sent it. 00:16:57 Speaker 3: Yes. 00:16:57 Speaker 1: So, and by the way, this was on I think either Instagram probably was a TikTok before. 00:17:04 Speaker 3: Right, my mother sent it in a DM. 00:17:06 Speaker 2: Oh, she sent it in the DM. 00:17:08 Speaker 1: This is based on how many, like the percentage of people who have complained, and based on reviews. So coming in at number ten Planet Hollywood nine, Horseshoe eight, Treasure Island seven, Mandalay Bay uh oh six. Oh it's at the very end of the strip. Who wants to stay there anyway? 00:17:26 Speaker 2: Yeah? 00:17:26 Speaker 3: Well, yeah, that's why they should keep it clean. 00:17:28 Speaker 4: I have to tell you guys, A quick story, keep. 00:17:30 Speaker 1: Going, okay, remember it six New York, New York, five Park, MGM four, Circus, Circus three, Flamingo second is the Luxor number one spot. 00:17:40 Speaker 2: Excalibur. Can't say I'm shook by that. 00:17:43 Speaker 5: And I think it was twenty eight percent of the people who leave there say they feel they left dirty. 00:17:48 Speaker 6: And let me tell you, in Vegas do not want to stay in a dirty hotel. We know people like to party, but wild shit goes down in those rooms, and like you want to be clean. 00:18:00 Speaker 1: I was at Hooters when the guy was flipping his dick out of the bar. 00:18:04 Speaker 3: It wait like you saw his meat flaps. I saw his meat just like sweat flipping in food. 00:18:11 Speaker 2: A time that that guy that was like, I'm battle over her head. I'm like, I'm traumatized. I saw dick flinging outside the room earlier. Got you ready to break bottles on my head? 00:18:24 Speaker 4: Dick's or not Dick's Hooters has Hooters has a hotel? 00:18:30 Speaker 2: Is that what you mean? 00:18:31 Speaker 4: Or you meant Hooters a restaurant? 00:18:34 Speaker 5: I thought you were talking about. There was just one guy walking around slinging his dick and the restore titties out I was like, wow, they're really it was. 00:18:43 Speaker 2: Like equality, you could share your deads. 00:18:46 Speaker 3: Here's my penis. 00:18:48 Speaker 2: Yeah, no, Hooters has a hotel. It's off. It's like not off. 00:18:53 Speaker 3: This is it kind of like hard rock. 00:18:55 Speaker 1: Yeah, it's kind of just like a little like hang left, hang left here, and you're gonna go off the strip of. 00:19:01 Speaker 2: Tad and hit Hooters. Oh it didn't make top ten. People are even happy and clean. 00:19:07 Speaker 1: So anyway, when we do the NFL game there, we won't stay at any of the Yes, I want to talk, We'll do Tom Brady last, because I did ask the pub what they think about it. 00:19:18 Speaker 2: But please tell me about the New York Dublin portal. 00:19:21 Speaker 4: Have you guys seen it. 00:19:22 Speaker 6: If you haven't seen the New York Dublin Portal before we discuss it, quick google if you're in your car, just wait, but quick google it because it's so cool. 00:19:31 Speaker 4: It's you saw this morning. Would you think did you think it was that cooler? Nowot? 00:19:34 Speaker 2: I thought it was great. I thought it was awesome. Yes, I loved it. 00:19:38 Speaker 5: I mean it was the girl in New York that did it to the people in Dublin, right, well, I doubt. 00:19:43 Speaker 2: Anyone in Dublin. I doubt anyone crazy. Oh does Dublin have freaky bitches? 00:19:49 Speaker 3: Oh? 00:19:49 Speaker 4: I think so. Okay, had she maybe tried to jump through and rob someone in Dublin or maybe pulled out a gun jumping through, maybe I'd be like, not the best ways, jumping their nipples. 00:21:57 Speaker 2: They're fun, don't fun? 00:21:58 Speaker 4: They're fun. 00:21:59 Speaker 6: Also, don't give me a portal until I can actually jump through and arrive in Dublin until you can do that. 00:22:05 Speaker 4: But so fun. They'll put the portal in. 00:22:36 Speaker 4: Okay, question for both of you. 00:22:37 Speaker 6: If you could a portal could appear right now and you could go anywhere. 00:22:40 Speaker 4: You have to pick one location? What can I do for you? 00:24:38 Speaker 6: We're in a downward spiral over here, ladies and gentlemen, and we are thriving. 00:24:42 Speaker 1: You know, the best thing about being a downward spiral is there's only one thing to do, and that's hit the ground, and then there's no way but up. 00:24:49 Speaker 4: That's true, there's nowhere to go but up. 00:24:51 Speaker 2: Nowhere to go but up. 00:24:52 Speaker 1: I actually fear being on top of the world, which I've never been there, so I'm okay with it. Because I had a quarter pan of brownies and I was like, I'm dying. 00:30:38 Speaker 2: That has happened to me before. Okay. I was driving to meet a friend at a hotel. A guy ooh, this was so long ago, so long ago, okay, And I knew him all right. We had bumped peepies hell of times. Okay. But and the edibles were. 00:30:57 Speaker 1: Like those stone brook asie and blueberry chocolate covered berries or whatever, you know what I'm talking about. And for some reason, I was so into the album that I was listening to it was probably like four by Beyonce, that I forgot that they were weed, and I just continued to eat them. When I was in Canada with James, I made him come to my room and he had to tell me you're safe. 00:32:03 Speaker 2: No, the time that I unzipped my bag and. 00:32:05 Speaker 4: It was so organized and crying, such a virgo. 00:32:08 Speaker 2: Why would I ever continue to smoke weed? 00:32:11 Speaker 4: No, it was just smoking. 00:32:12 Speaker 7: So that wasn't edibles or it was edibles and smoking. It was the joints, It was the pens, it was the pipes, it was the bong, it was all of it, just a lot a lot of things. 00:32:23 Speaker 4: Be careful if you do edibles. I you know you're good on edibles. So are you me. 00:32:29 Speaker 3: I could probably eat like two hundred and fifty millig. 00:32:32 Speaker 6: I ate five in Vegas and thought I was gonna drown in five milligrams. 00:32:36 Speaker 2: Yeah. 00:32:36 Speaker 4: I thought it was going to be drown in a pool. 00:32:38 Speaker 6: At My feet were hanging in the pool and I was like, I'm about to drown and Kyle's like relaxed, and I couldn't move though. 00:32:45 Speaker 4: I was like, I need to get out of here. I'm gonna drown and He's like, it's just your feet in the pool. Shut up. 00:32:49 Speaker 3: You know. 00:32:49 Speaker 1: That's the reason why I bathed before I took my edibles, ambrush my teeth. 00:32:53 Speaker 2: So I constantly thought I was gonna drown. Yeah, And I would get into my bed. 00:33:00 Speaker 1: Because it was like, I don't know, I need to become one with a soft surface. 00:33:05 Speaker 2: Sure. 00:33:06 Speaker 6: Sure, that kind of sounds like mushrooms or ecstasy, which I've never done, by the way, have you. 00:33:12 Speaker 2: No, I've done shrooms, but no, I would have to lock you lock all the doors, shut all the blinds, and you'll hunker down because. 00:33:22 Speaker 3: You're putting yourself in a bad place already. 00:33:25 Speaker 4: This is for shrooms. 00:33:26 Speaker 2: No, for weed, Jessica weed. 00:33:30 Speaker 4: Yes, I don't think I'll ever do edibles again. 00:33:33 Speaker 2: Oh, I'm sorry, I have to assume I wont either. 00:33:36 Speaker 3: I'm going to take a hundred milligrams and then come and do this show. 00:33:39 Speaker 2: I would love that. I like I said, we talked about it last week. 00:39:37 Speaker 2: I said it. 00:39:38 Speaker 1: Didn't need to be three hours long, but it was absolutely fantastic and brilliant. 00:39:43 Speaker 2: Chef's kiss. 00:39:45 Speaker 1: Tom Brady is not happy about it. He said, I loved when the jokes were about me. I thought they were so fun. I didn't like the way it affected my kids. He called the roast a good lesson and said I'll be a better parent as I go forward because of it. 00:39:58 Speaker 5: Oh so he did lose so much family, He did lose so much family after. 00:40:04 Speaker 3: This, and now he's fucked. 00:40:07 Speaker 2: Apologies, Lisa, and we continue to roast it, and Nicky Glazer believes it's impossible. Brady hadn't considered the repercussions. 00:40:17 Speaker 1: She said, maybe he didn't consider the backlash from his family and how it would affect them. But also, but I also think Tom Brady does not do anything without doing research and knowing exactly what he's getting into. No one's ever said a bad thing to him in the past thirty years. I really don't think he thought they were really going to go there. 00:40:36 Speaker 6: Yes, yeah, it's a roast, you're gonna go there, but everyone's gonna go everywhere. 00:40:39 Speaker 4: They're comedians, They're gonna low blow. 00:40:42 Speaker 2: And by the way, no one was safe. Kim Jay was taking blows wrong. 00:40:47 Speaker 5: Anybody would if I was Gronk, I would have got up and left. I would have been like, my name should be up here. 00:40:51 Speaker 3: I'm getting fucking rammed. 00:40:53 Speaker 4: Yeah. 00:40:53 Speaker 3: Yeah, he got worse than Tom Brady. Yes, yeah, he ain't saying anything. 00:40:58 Speaker 2: It just all took a be But she's used to being. 00:41:01 Speaker 3: Beaten up on a mat beet up. 00:41:03 Speaker 2: Guys. 00:41:04 Speaker 6: We didn't even mention this last week, but I've heard Giselle left Tom Brady for her jiu jitsu jiu jitsu coach. 00:41:12 Speaker 2: That's exactly right. She did, Okay, and Kevin's like eight class. 00:41:16 Speaker 4: He's a day. 00:41:17 Speaker 2: Tom got a thing. She's still a white belt. 00:41:22 Speaker 3: I First off, she's a belt. 00:41:23 Speaker 4: It's so much hotter now that Giselle does jiu jitsu. 00:41:27 Speaker 3: Second, Tom loves that she does it too. 00:41:30 Speaker 4: It is nice here. I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna be honest here. 00:41:34 Speaker 6: Okay, When you join jiu jit jiu jitsu as a female and you watch the men. 00:41:43 Speaker 4: Do their thing, it's there's multiple feelings. Number One. 00:41:47 Speaker 6: At first, it's kind of like, oh, this is interesting, like it's very close contact. But then when you see someone who's like good at it and like it's it is attractive and you feel empowered. I can see why Giselle, I can see why that happened. 00:42:02 Speaker 4: That's all I'll say. That's all I'll say. Because it is. 00:42:05 Speaker 3: Falling around her like a spider market. 00:42:07 Speaker 4: You know, it isn't art like jiu jitsu isn't like striking. 00:42:11 Speaker 5: This is like this is like ground place, grabbing her ass and then flipping her over. 00:42:19 Speaker 3: Fingers, spitting her when you're. 00:42:30 Speaker 1: Exsicitions ju jitsu is probably the most like I let's just take him off. 00:42:38 Speaker 2: No, I watched you do jiu jitsu. 00:42:41 Speaker 1: Sean at the old office on Beverly and I left wet. 00:42:45 Speaker 3: Yeah she would, I can't do it get too. 00:42:48 Speaker 6: Hot when By the way, so you guys know, when you're rolling in jiu jitsu, that's the last thing on your mind. It's actually the furthest away and it's like almost in the moment, like it's like. 00:42:59 Speaker 1: Really, the first on your mind is I pray, don't fart in his face? 00:43:03 Speaker 3: Mind or claw quef I was trying to make a pg. 00:43:11 Speaker 2: A wasting quef a quall. 00:43:15 Speaker 6: Like people fart all the time and jiu jitsu it's horrific. 00:43:20 Speaker 4: But like there are positions north South is like fully. 00:43:23 Speaker 5: Like sin, could you benefit from a good fart in jiu jitsu? Yeah, Like say you're not winning and you like just pound one in his face and he's like ship and you're like that's my brand. 00:43:34 Speaker 3: I'm used to it. And now you're flipping him. 00:43:37 Speaker 2: I feel like, women, that's your signature move. 00:43:40 Speaker 4: That's your signature move. 00:43:41 Speaker 5: It's a fart, Like, yeah, I just put him in, all right, there's nothing in the room yourol that. 00:43:47 Speaker 4: No, it's not illegal. 00:43:48 Speaker 6: It neither is Like guys on the way sneak I think a couple. Nobody does it, but Fingi's in the butt but also. 00:43:55 Speaker 3: Coach. 00:43:56 Speaker 2: But when you're you may lose so much family because of jiu jitsu. But it's but it's fine. Is she with him? 00:44:02 Speaker 4: Do we know this? 00:44:02 Speaker 2: Is this? 00:44:03 Speaker 3: Like? Are they still together? I believe so? Yes? 00:44:05 Speaker 4: And he's like handsome. 00:44:07 Speaker 3: I didn't the jiu jitsuga. 00:44:09 Speaker 2: Tom Brady is not my like. 00:44:11 Speaker 1: If I looked at him, I'm like, he's a good looking guy. I'm ah, is he my type of good looking where I would like holler at him? 00:44:17 Speaker 2: Probably? 00:44:18 Speaker 3: Not. 00:44:18 Speaker 2: My favorite thing was for the most part, he looked like he wanted to cry. 00:44:22 Speaker 5: I loved they were like his bottom lip is shaking and they zoom in and it was literally like. 00:44:29 Speaker 3: He was nervous. 00:44:30 Speaker 4: I need to I was gonna watch this last night and I didn't. It's damn it. 00:44:34 Speaker 1: I so but I wanted to know what the listeners, what the listeners or the outside world thought of the roast. 00:44:41 Speaker 2: Do people think that he that it went too far? 00:44:44 Speaker 4: We've got mixed reviews? 00:44:46 Speaker 6: Number one, I put another bonus episode in the making. Let's discuss did the roast of Tom Brady go too far? This isn't a bonus episode. So that was my bad, you guys. But so we got fully mixed reviews. 00:44:58 Speaker 4: I got a. 00:44:58 Speaker 6: Nope, no, no, it's a roast. It went exactly how it should go. Then we got only the Kim's vagina? Is that of all? Like what wtf? We got a little, but I still left my ass off. Feel really bad for Giselle. We got he produced the show and it was a way for him to give a big fu to his ex and Bill Belichick. 00:45:22 Speaker 2: M okay, Tom. 00:45:24 Speaker 5: Brady, I would say that, but Bill Belichick was like a part of it. 00:45:28 Speaker 3: So I don't think to try to do a big fu. 00:45:31 Speaker 6: Okay, we got to know he was getting paid to get roasted. That's so true. Crying, laughing, Oh okay. So I haven't watched it yet, so I don't know what they're referring to and trigger warning. But with yes, with the suicide slash death jokes? 00:45:47 Speaker 4: Were there suicide? 00:45:48 Speaker 3: Oh well, Aaron Hernandez, there were a lot of those. 00:45:52 Speaker 1: The thing with I think roasts and comedians. Andrew Santino said it best people say what can comedian and say what is going too far? And he says, we can say whatever we want to say, and you all are allowed to get mad about it. We're allowed to say whatever we want, you're allowed to not like it, and it's just a revolving door of That's how it works. 00:46:15 Speaker 4: One hundred percent. 00:46:16 Speaker 2: I don't know where the line is because there are things that you draw that. 00:46:20 Speaker 1: If you were to, if you were to ask me, how do you feel about Aaron Hernandez, it is absolutely devastating and heartbreaking those. 00:46:28 Speaker 2: Jokes that they were making. I did laugh at. 00:46:31 Speaker 5: It's because you're a good person and you can you know right from wrong. Well, if he's funny in that setting. 00:46:37 Speaker 3: It's not funny anywhere else. 00:46:39 Speaker 5: Just like I can make jokes about Michael Jackson pedophilia. 00:46:43 Speaker 3: I know that is a very serious thing. But if I hear a joke I can from Dave Chappelle right exact yes, because I can separate a joke from reality like that. 00:46:51 Speaker 6: And also, at the end of the day, comedians, here's my thought, it's the comedians. They're not going and maybe they will. They're making the joke. If they continue to not get the laughs or get negative feedback, their whole point is comitedians, I would hope, is to make you laugh or make you uncomfortable or make you question like ooh, the line where it is, they're not going to. 00:47:11 Speaker 4: Keep making them. 00:47:12 Speaker 6: So, like you said, Ethan, the audience does dictate a lot of comedy, a lot of jokes. So jokes are being made and if there are laughs, they're probably going to keep making them. 00:47:23 Speaker 3: And that's the thing. 00:47:24 Speaker 5: You go in and you do these fifteen to twenty minute sets to practice, and if you go through and you try that bit and no one laughs, you're not putting that in your sight. 00:47:33 Speaker 3: Well, and that. 00:47:35 Speaker 2: And that's what people do. 00:47:37 Speaker 1: Like Jess, you were saying that big names will go into rooms like at the at the comedy store under a fake name and test out new material there and I'm sure if it gets a big laugh from the audience, that's now a part of their bit. Let's say they have a Netflix special coming up, it's probably gonna make it on there. Now they're opening themselves up to a whole different beast of criticism, but they've. 00:48:02 Speaker 5: Done that bit enough in multiple places and had laughs that it is now you there's gonna be repercussions, but you've practiced it in front of people who have laughed, so you're getting it as like, okay, you can do it, yes, right, And a. 00:48:16 Speaker 6: Lot of people deal with I mean a lot of the greats. Have you deal with trauma or crazy life events with comedy, it's like a way to deal with shit. So the only thing which comedians do make a point of. And I'm like, they're so right. There's so many like TikTok stars and TikTok whatever social media influencers who now they'll watch a comedian and all of a sudden, they'll go on their TikTok and think, all of a sudden, they're a comedian. Santino was actually talking about this, and it's like and they start saying off color things that they're like, oh, but comedians do it. It's like, you're not a freaking comedian. That's what You're not a comedian. You're not funny comedies and art. It takes years and years and years. You can't just all all of a sudden become a comedian. And that's the stuff that's annoying. Yes, you will get canceled for that, or you will get shamed. You're not funny, go away. 00:49:08 Speaker 2: That's that's how I feel, too. 00:49:10 Speaker 8: Yes, And one thing I thought was interesting is. I believe it was Nicky Glazer. She said that she would get like a focus group together and she would try the jokes that made the Brady Roast to see how people were reacting to them, and she got positive reactions, did a couple of them. 00:49:25 Speaker 3: That's what I'm saying, Like these comedians don't just go that is a great drug. 00:49:28 Speaker 5: I'm just gonna try it, and willy nilly, they're like, no, I'm gonna go around see how they feel. 00:49:33 Speaker 1: You know, she didn't wing that by any means, and she was the star of that roast. 00:49:38 Speaker 3: I mean, Tony was like, shoes, bitch, did you get him in the divorce? He's so funny And that's He's the one. 00:49:50 Speaker 5: Who said, like the whale vagina fore, you got more funny. 00:49:57 Speaker 1: I've recently, I've always respected her and I've always, like I said, I don't watch Kardashians, but I don't think you need to watch to know what's going on in their life. I'm a huge fan, but just to watch the blows. I mean, she's been taking blow after blow for months. 00:50:13 Speaker 2: People are not digging her. 00:50:14 Speaker 3: Are we talking about sex? 00:50:16 Speaker 1: I'm talking about Kim Kardashian as just like verbal, no, but just verbal. 00:50:20 Speaker 2: I don't think. Maybe she has a lot of sex. I don't know. 00:50:23 Speaker 1: I find it in very inspiring that a woman, she's absolutely stunning. She's a beast in this world, right, And to see someone like her be single and have a hard time like finding a person and it's probably because she's got other priorities. Right For someone like me, it's like, Okay, that's inspiring. I can see a well rounded life and there's not necessarily a man involved anyway, her taking hit after hit recently, I'm like, I really have a lot of respect because she still goes out and she's like, I'm freaking Kim Kardashian. And by the way, I don't think it matters if you're a little old you or Kim Kardashian. People are people you know, and like your money don't keep you warm, and opportunities don't keep you warm either. It actually just opens up more criticism. Well, you're like, i'd really. 00:51:09 Speaker 2: Like you to end, yes, Like I really do just want to be able to be nice. 00:51:12 Speaker 6: Anyone who signs up for a roast, anyone who participates in a ros I have a mad respect for because it's like you put yourself out there. 00:51:20 Speaker 4: Yes, you're gonna they're gonna be low blows. 00:51:23 Speaker 6: If I ever signed up for a roast, I'd be like, you know whatever, like a personal roast, because you know, people do like jobs, will get comedians into roast their boss and stuff. 00:51:32 Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean Dana White, Yeah, yeah, kind of like the same thing. He was roast and he was like, you're kind of the I can't even remember who said it, but they were like, Dana White, You're. 00:51:41 Speaker 3: Kind of like Michael Vick, but with humans. 00:51:43 Speaker 2: Yes, who said that? 00:51:48 Speaker 3: Do you remember what it was? 00:51:50 Speaker 2: Tony? 00:51:52 Speaker 4: Tony so freaking funny. 00:51:54 Speaker 1: And by the way, what Michael Vick did was so horrific. But but now if it's all right, No, But what I'm saying is you can separate the topics and understand where we are right now at this roast or if I'm sitting down with a panel of people who are changing laws. 00:52:14 Speaker 2: Right, obviously, I'm not gonna crack a Michael Vick joke. 00:52:17 Speaker 1: No, But I think it's about being able to separate reality from reality. 00:52:23 Speaker 2: Like you have to laugh about things. 00:52:26 Speaker 1: The world is so intense that if we can't laugh about things that really aren't funny, it's gonna take us out. 00:52:33 Speaker 5: That's why I love Ricky Gervais because he's the one who always is making the jokes and always brings it back at the end of it and is just like, thank you guys for laughing. 00:52:40 Speaker 3: You guys know right from wrong. This is comedy. 00:52:43 Speaker 5: Yeah, that's why you're laughing at the wrong thing, because you know what the right thing is. 00:52:47 Speaker 2: Right, absolutely, yeah, yeah. 00:52:50 Speaker 1: So would you say for the most part, what you're reading just is it is very splitter. Do you think most people say if you signed up for a roast, this is what you got. 00:52:57 Speaker 6: Most people, if you signed up for a roast, this is what you get. They someone says, and I hear you, but they went too far with slut shaming. Kim k Everyone has a pass, doesn't mean we should shame people for it in a roast. 00:53:08 Speaker 4: That's exactly what you do. You gotta do because I hear you. 00:53:12 Speaker 6: But it's like a roast is different. 00:53:16 Speaker 2: She signed yeah. 00:53:17 Speaker 1: Like people were calling the jokes that people were making about Nikki Glazer like misogynistic, and Nikki was like, no, words like that don't exist in a row. 00:53:26 Speaker 5: Well, she's standing up there and she goes I know that I'm going to be called a cum guzzling horror and I'm this and I'm that, but I do have a boyfriend and I shoot you in the head to suck this guy's dick for a lot time. 00:53:42 Speaker 3: Like she even said, like, I know I'm gonna be called like ahor a cum guzzler, but we're at a rose. Let's go. Let's go. 00:53:48 Speaker 6: And she said she was on a podcast right after that and she said, how she has been good for you, Nikki. She's always she's been in the comedy scene forever. If you want to hear how she got started. It was from a really traumatic experience and she's been on podcast saying this. 00:54:04 Speaker 4: It was she uh trigger warning. She was anarexic. Then she got it was like she got hospitalized market. 00:54:12 Speaker 5: And now that is even funnier because I think it was Tony. Tony was like she they're so sick of like they're trying to shove her down our throats now like a joke. 00:54:27 Speaker 3: Of like, yeah, he did. She has been. 00:54:30 Speaker 5: Working out, so now they're trying to shove her down our throats. 00:54:34 Speaker 2: Oh my, because I had. 00:54:36 Speaker 3: No idea she had a disorder. 00:54:37 Speaker 4: Well that's how she. 00:54:38 Speaker 6: Got into comedy. But long story short, she's been in the game for a while. In this roast, she pitched herself for it. They did not invite her. She was like, I want to be on this roast. I want to be on this Yeah. 00:54:47 Speaker 4: They finally got her on and she was the first one. 00:54:50 Speaker 6: Which is amazing at a roast because people's jokes are while people don't realize as a comedian if someone is using like this same jokes, keeping made you then get rid of that joke because so you're like live editing your set, like, well, can't say that joke anymore? 00:55:08 Speaker 4: Oh, can't say so. 00:55:09 Speaker 6: Nicki was first and she said, long story short, she like has been popping off after that Rose. People are like loving her and like good for her because she's been in the game for a while. 00:55:19 Speaker 3: Goes, where the fuck was that your whole career? 00:55:22 Speaker 2: She's back, baby. It was a part of her journey. It was all the universe's plan for her. They were like, we're gonna give you a career that you're not so happy about, but you're gonna pop off on Tom Brady's rouse. 00:55:36 Speaker 1: You know, what's the nicky Glazer thing? Before we wrap this conversation up. She did say at the very end, you know how she. 00:55:45 Speaker 2: Hugs tom Oh. She revealed what he said to her. Yeah, he basically said, and this isn't verbatim, but thank you. 00:55:55 Speaker 1: I wish you the best. I was like, I'm never going to see you again. This is where we part ways. 00:56:04 Speaker 5: But like that's the other thing. She like auditioned to be on the road. She didn't ask if he would have asked, like he would have been like, yeah, I'll you soon. 00:56:13 Speaker 3: But it's like yeah. 00:56:13 Speaker 1: But Kim Cay slid into her DMS did she congrats and just said like, you were amazing. 00:56:21 Speaker 4: Kim continues to impress me. 00:56:23 Speaker 2: Sorry guys, and then Nikki went into her fan girl she said and was like, oh my gosh, you were amazing girl. 00:56:30 Speaker 1: Yeah, so wow, that was a really fun podcast. 00:56:34 Speaker 2: I won't even lie. Let's skip to Ache and Relief of the week. 00:56:39 Speaker 1: I know that we are doing back to back, but hopefully you guys have an ache and relief for double relief, maybe double ach. 00:56:45 Speaker 2: Jess, you want to start us off. 00:56:47 Speaker 3: Sure. 00:56:47 Speaker 6: My relief this week is my girl Ashley from mish Mash Studio send me this hat. I? 00:57:26 Speaker 2: I was gonna say it looks like mu meal. The word doesn't look like meal, but your hat does. 00:57:32 Speaker 6: So I love you, Ashley. This is so sweet. I'm obsessed with it. Oh she makes like a crocheted crop sweater that I want to get that's like these colors. 00:57:40 Speaker 4: So anyway, thank you. 00:57:41 Speaker 6: And then my ache is I chipped a nail before we started this. 00:57:45 Speaker 2: Every one the middle finger, the middle finger, and there we go. All right, I love it, east You want to go, yeah. 00:58:00 Speaker 5: Ache of the week, we'll start off with. The ache is in Doral, Florida. Okay, there's an animal shelter that is without a c there's over one hundred and fifty animals. 00:58:12 Speaker 3: I'm gonna post it on my Instagram. Okay, and they just have like a couple of fans. This is what it looks like. 00:58:19 Speaker 4: I'll post it, but oh this is heartbreaks. 00:58:23 Speaker 5: So they just said ideas are welcome, so we can help the one hundred and fifty plus dogs located at Metley off site shelter where they have no AC. 00:58:32 Speaker 3: Okay, I just said, does do you. 00:58:34 Speaker 5: Know anyone that works at a company or anything like that? So I'm gonna see if we can get somebody that does AC out there. 00:58:40 Speaker 1: And yeah, because they could even we could even try to figure out how to put in those those fans you know like I have in the the a. 00:58:48 Speaker 5: Du Yeah, and if they can do it for free, you know, I shout them out here. I don't know if that would do much, but yeah, I want to see if we. 00:58:54 Speaker 4: Can what we can contact them? Did you shout out the Instagram? 00:58:57 Speaker 3: I'm gonna post it on the Instagram. Put it on the Instagram. 00:59:00 Speaker 5: So that is my ache is these one hundred and fifty dogs and it's ninety five plus degrees. 00:59:05 Speaker 2: All right, let's try to figure it out as I am. 00:59:08 Speaker 5: So I'll post that, keep that the lookout, and then my relief is I don't know life. 00:59:16 Speaker 3: Love it. 00:59:16 Speaker 2: Landon comes home today. 00:59:18 Speaker 3: Landin comes home. I'm getting my house all in order. 00:59:21 Speaker 2: Piece of our pod has been missing, so he's back. 00:59:23 Speaker 3: I love that. That is my relief. 00:59:25 Speaker 2: I love it. T T thank you. My relief of the week. 00:59:29 Speaker 1: The iconic mirage in Las Vegas is closing after thirty four years. 00:59:35 Speaker 2: Yes, it's my relief. Flies it your relief because they had all those animals there. 00:59:40 Speaker 1: That's where like Sigfried and Roy or whatever their names are kept their tigers and things like that. 00:59:45 Speaker 2: And the rarest tigers. 00:59:47 Speaker 1: In the world are the white ones, and they would breed them and they'd come out all freaking inbread with crossed eyes. They couldn't do anything, so they're like hidden in the back of the mirage, and the animals were placed elsewhere. I would love to know where they were placed, if anyone can shed light.
