<v Speaker 3>I've lived mainly in northwest Arkansas for the last twenty
<v Speaker 3>something years, but growing up I did live outside of
<v Speaker 3>an area called Charleston, Arkansas. My family has some land
<v Speaker 3>I guess about fifteen minutes outside of town.
<v Speaker 2>It's close to an area where there's a.
<v Speaker 3>Place called Potato if anybody knows where that's at. The
<v Speaker 3>big Foot encounter was October twenty eighth, twenty fifteenth. I
<v Speaker 3>was leaving my mom's house to go pick up my children.
<v Speaker 3>It was the morning after my dad had passed away.
<v Speaker 3>He passed away around eleven, twelve o'clock at night.
<v Speaker 2>Sometime around one.
<v Speaker 3>Maybe two o'clock in the morning, the corner came and
<v Speaker 3>picked him up. So there was a lot of you know,
<v Speaker 3>lights and movement going on outside, which I guess maybe
<v Speaker 3>drew attention, I don't know. So around six am I
<v Speaker 3>got up to leave to go pick up my two
<v Speaker 3>oldest kids who were back up in northwest Arkansas. And
<v Speaker 3>as I was leaving the home, I noticed something and
<v Speaker 3>it was standing in the tree line next to the
<v Speaker 3>driveway and you know, like across from where the house is.
<v Speaker 3>So if someone was driving up the driveway, you have
<v Speaker 3>to walk across the driveway to get to the tree line,
<v Speaker 3>and it was white, and it was unusual. I'd never
<v Speaker 3>seen anything like that, and I'd grown up in this
<v Speaker 3>area in the woods, and I've never seen anything like this,
<v Speaker 3>especially white. You're always taught about black bears and a cougar,
<v Speaker 3>so you know, white is like alarming.
<v Speaker 2>That might be a cougar. So I'm looking and.
<v Speaker 3>As I'm walking towards the gate, I'm realizing, this is
<v Speaker 3>not a cougar.
<v Speaker 2>This is weird.
<v Speaker 3>And it had two legs standing bi pedles standing upright.
<v Speaker 3>I wasn't sure what I was looking at. Again, it's
<v Speaker 3>very early in the morning. My dad had passed away,
<v Speaker 3>so I'm kind of looking through the tree lines to
<v Speaker 3>get an idea, but I don't think to look up.
<v Speaker 2>And it has.
<v Speaker 3>Hands, and the hands are down past the knees, very
<v Speaker 3>long arms. And as I opened the gate, the cast
<v Speaker 3>iron gate, the gate screaks and the thing turns and
<v Speaker 3>it picks up its leg, the right leg and the
<v Speaker 3>arm in the motion like if you're going to take
<v Speaker 3>off and run from something, and it takes a couple
<v Speaker 3>of steps and it just disappears into the woods and
<v Speaker 3>it's gone, and I don't know what it was. I
<v Speaker 3>didn't see a face. I didn't think to look upwards.
<v Speaker 3>You know, I was never a believer in big Fuddy
<v Speaker 3>used to make fun of people who thought Bigfoot was real.
<v Speaker 3>So I wasn't looking for a Bigfoot.
<v Speaker 2>I wasn't. I didn't know.
<v Speaker 3>All I saw was the motions of it was.
<v Speaker 2>It seemed very tall, very big, and it was white. Okay,
<v Speaker 2>that was my main encounter.
<v Speaker 3>I've had a few other strange encounters with weird noises
<v Speaker 3>that are unexplained and knocking sounds out there. You do
<v Speaker 3>get a sense when you're out there that maybe something's
<v Speaker 3>watching you. But again, these woods have things like bears, cougars, boar,
<v Speaker 3>so you're always looking over your shoulder for a wild animal.
<v Speaker 2>But yeah, way.
<v Speaker 1>Can you describe the knocking sounds that you heard.
<v Speaker 3>The knocking sound were as if it were trying to
<v Speaker 3>communicate it was. It would knock, for example, like three times,
<v Speaker 3>and then I would knock back three more times to see,
<v Speaker 3>you know, if it's going to knock back, And then
<v Speaker 3>it would knock back two times. And I did it
<v Speaker 3>in different in different patterns to make sure that it
<v Speaker 3>wasn't some kind of echo coming back off the trees
<v Speaker 3>or around me, and it was knocking in a way
<v Speaker 3>that this is no way, this is an echo. If
<v Speaker 3>I would knock three times, it would knock back one time.
<v Speaker 3>If I knocked one time in response, then it might
<v Speaker 3>knock back three times or four times. But that went
<v Speaker 3>on for a little while. Yeah, so that was a
<v Speaker 3>one time incident. The noises that you hear out in
<v Speaker 3>the woods, there's a lot of I don't even know
<v Speaker 3>how to describe the noise that you hear. I'm sure
<v Speaker 3>a lot of other people have heard it too and
<v Speaker 3>could probably describe it better than me.
<v Speaker 2>Some people think it's sport chappy. I don't know.
<v Speaker 3>It sounds like a roar over the tops of the trees.
<v Speaker 2>It's loud, but it's not loud.
<v Speaker 3>It's almost like when you're standing at the ocean with
<v Speaker 3>the waves and how it's really loud you can't hear
<v Speaker 3>somebody really close to you, but it's not that loud.
<v Speaker 2>At the same time, what this noise is like, say,
<v Speaker 2>like a roar over the tops of the trees. I
<v Speaker 2>don't know what the noise is.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, that's freak, you said.
<v Speaker 2>They have a.
<v Speaker 3>Lot of jets and things that fly around there, like
<v Speaker 3>military planes and things.
<v Speaker 2>So I don't know if it's like jet engines, I
<v Speaker 2>don't know.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, it could be. You said your brother had an
<v Speaker 1>encounter as well.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah.
<v Speaker 3>So my brother said he was running down the road
<v Speaker 3>and there was something. He felt like something was next
<v Speaker 3>to him, and he looked over his shoulder and there
<v Speaker 3>was something running in the woods with him, and it
<v Speaker 3>was white.
<v Speaker 1>Also, I wonder if that's the same creature. Was this
<v Speaker 1>in the same forest, Yeah, I was in the same area. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>that's creepy. What do you think the creature was doing
<v Speaker 1>there in the driveway? Do you think the commotion possibly
<v Speaker 1>caught its attention?
<v Speaker 3>Honestly, yes, I think that whatever it was has been
<v Speaker 3>there and it probably knew my family was out there
<v Speaker 3>for a while and probably saw them build their house,
<v Speaker 3>and when my dad passed away, it probably came.
<v Speaker 2>I think it was watching, maybe even been aware. Maybe
<v Speaker 2>it since a death.
<v Speaker 3>I don't know, but it was weird the way it
<v Speaker 3>was standing there, as if it was looking at the house,
<v Speaker 3>just standing there.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, it sounds like I noticed something different all kinds
<v Speaker 1>of people, and it wanted to come in and check
<v Speaker 1>out the area.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, and so when I left that morning, I caught
<v Speaker 3>it off guard when I came out of the house,
<v Speaker 3>and obviously I was not expecting to see what I
<v Speaker 3>was seeing. And from a psychology standpoint, your brain doesn't
<v Speaker 3>recognize anything it's never seen before. So I saw something white,
<v Speaker 3>and I'm kneeling down to look through the fence as
<v Speaker 3>I'm walking towards the gate, and of course it's not moving,
<v Speaker 3>but I can see the hands down below the knees.
<v Speaker 2>And of course your brain is like, what in the world.
<v Speaker 3>And as I approached the gate, I reached through the gate,
<v Speaker 3>opened the lock, pushed the gate open. It made the
<v Speaker 3>screech noise, and the thing turned, lifted its leg and
<v Speaker 3>its arm, and that's when I realized.
<v Speaker 2>Oh my god, what is this? And it literally took
<v Speaker 2>a couple of steps and just was gone.
<v Speaker 1>How tall do you think this creature was?
<v Speaker 3>I would say about ten foot and maybe twelve foot.
<v Speaker 3>You know, it was hard to judge because I didn't
<v Speaker 3>see exactly how tall it was because I never actually
<v Speaker 3>saw the head or the face because I didn't look upward.
<v Speaker 3>I didn't thing to look upward. I was just so
<v Speaker 3>what am I looking at? When I saw the hands
<v Speaker 3>hanging down beside two legs, but white fur. It was weird,
<v Speaker 3>and so I was like, what in the world. And
<v Speaker 3>when it ran off, I don't know. It had to
<v Speaker 3>have been about ten foot maybe twelve foot.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, that's terrifying.
<v Speaker 2>It took a couple of steps and it was gone.
<v Speaker 1>And how long was the fur?
<v Speaker 3>Oh gosh, it wasn't like super long, like compared to
<v Speaker 3>my dog, it wasn't. She has like German shepherd in
<v Speaker 3>her and so she kind of has long hair in places.
<v Speaker 3>It wasn't like super long. But it wasn't short. It
<v Speaker 3>wasn't like a cowhide or anything like that. It did
<v Speaker 3>you could tell it was fur maybe like a bear.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, so a couple inches.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, but bears don't walk around on their two legs.
<v Speaker 3>And that particular area right there, there's black bears and
<v Speaker 3>there have been a lot of black bear sightings in
<v Speaker 3>that area, and my mom has had some problems with
<v Speaker 3>black bears, but not a white bear, a polar bear.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah. Have you heard anything from the neighbors regarding Bigfoot
<v Speaker 1>or anyone in the community.
<v Speaker 3>In the community, Yeah, you know, I've never really talked
<v Speaker 3>to the neighbors, honestly, but I could probably ask the neighbors. Honestly,
<v Speaker 3>I just it's kind of a weird situation. There's only
<v Speaker 3>two neighbors on that particular road, and one of them
<v Speaker 3>he's just kind of a hermit type guy.

<v Speaker 3>They call him old man Spencer, and he just lives
<v Speaker 3>out there and he probably has stories. I just never
<v Speaker 3>thought to asking because I've.
<v Speaker 2>Never talked to him. Yeah, the Duns probably do have stories.
<v Speaker 2>They've lived there for a long long time and they
<v Speaker 2>probably do have stories. But yeah, people in the community.

<v Speaker 1>Okay, yeah, it might be worth asking some of the
<v Speaker 1>neighbors if they've ever seen anything, and what exactly have
<v Speaker 1>you heard from people in the area.
<v Speaker 3>I was same thing, that there's something in the woods
<v Speaker 3>that there they've spotted a bigfoot. Some people claim they
<v Speaker 3>have found footprints.
<v Speaker 2>You know, I don't know.
<v Speaker 3>I didn't actually find any footprints, but those are the
<v Speaker 3>things people are saying they're finding in the area.
<v Speaker 2>Is being like hair on the trees.
<v Speaker 3>But they're finding brown hair and stuff, and I saw white, so.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, they come in all different colors. Okay, what else
<v Speaker 1>has happened or what else can you share with me
<v Speaker 1>about the Sasquatch.
<v Speaker 3>Well, there's a lot of bosiding throughout time that have
<v Speaker 3>been linked to the Sasquatch, even in that area.
<v Speaker 2>Look back.
<v Speaker 3>There's an organization outside of Ozark that says a lot of.
<v Speaker 2>Back watch hunting.
<v Speaker 3>I don't know the name, the exact name of it,
<v Speaker 3>but it's not hard to google it. They have a

<v Speaker 2>They've done a lot of studies into that because.
<v Speaker 1>They're I'm having a real hard time hearing YOUFO sightings.
<v Speaker 2>There's a lot of Bigfoot sightings at the same time.

<v Speaker 3>of people saw it and then they said it was

<v Speaker 3>of way. It seemed like it wanted to get away

<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I've heard some frightening stories from Arkansas, and it
<v Speaker 1>makes me think it's a gugway. I don't know if
<v Speaker 1>you've ever heard of that, but it's kind of like
<v Speaker 1>a sasquatch, but it has ears and a snout, and
<v Speaker 1>I don't know, it almost looks like a grizzly bear

<v Speaker 3>a cryptid, but they may have mentioned a cryptied and
<v Speaker 3>I just kind of overlooked it.
