[SPEAKER_00]: Welcome to the Forty-K-Lorecast.
[SPEAKER_00]: Hello and welcome to Forty-K-Lorecast with me, John Barsati and Brad Chester.
[SPEAKER_00]: This guy!
[SPEAKER_00]: It's happening.
[SPEAKER_00]: We're doing this.
[SPEAKER_00]: Orcs.
[SPEAKER_01]: You know what?
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going off at a wild tangent.
[SPEAKER_01]: We're so excited about this orc episode that John and I were literally building orc lists before this cast for Hitler alert.
[SPEAKER_00]: The gargantuan squigoth has a lot of play.
[SPEAKER_01]: And it was awesome.
[SPEAKER_01]: By the way, surprisingly awesome.
[SPEAKER_00]: Like, wait, it does what?
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Also, the T-thirteen.
[SPEAKER_00]: T-thirteen with a strat to make it minus one to wound, are you implying that could be good?
[SPEAKER_00]: A lot of points.
[SPEAKER_00]: Here we go.
[SPEAKER_00]: We're going into Orcs and Orcs are so Brad and I have two favorite babies.
[SPEAKER_00]: They are Eldar and Orcs.
[SPEAKER_00]: I think we may both like competitively playing Eldar more, but we like the Orcs more as a
[SPEAKER_01]: Let's talk about who the orcs are.
[SPEAKER_01]: Orcs are a engineered race that was built for speed.
[SPEAKER_01]: It was made to fight.
[SPEAKER_01]: Period.
[SPEAKER_01]: Full stop.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, full stop.
[SPEAKER_01]: But also, it was a race that was designed to be a fighting race, the perfect fighting race.
[SPEAKER_01]: Literally psychic reproduces without any problems whatsoever, incredibly tough.
[SPEAKER_01]: incredibly durable and only listed to one person are one being race of beings and that race of beings left.
[SPEAKER_00]: Oops oopsies one thousand so when it comes to works one of the parts of works for those of you who maybe don't play forty games listening to this or people who knew the forty
[SPEAKER_00]: Orcs on paper are the most terrifying thing in the galaxy.
[SPEAKER_01]: They are the night man.
[SPEAKER_01]: We absolutely should be the thing that they sing, bedtime stories about everyone.
[SPEAKER_01]: This should be the most feared thing in the galaxy.
[SPEAKER_00]: And they are going along.
[SPEAKER_00]: But they're actually funny.
[SPEAKER_00]: This is why we all love playing, or because GW has done things right.
[SPEAKER_00]: They've done things wrong, cough, cough, cow.
[SPEAKER_00]: They've done these.
[SPEAKER_00]: They have gotten nothing as correct and as in perfect as it were.
[SPEAKER_00]: They are any orc player orcs can be the worst faction the entire game and they will still have numerous players in every tournament you go.
[SPEAKER_01]: I believe we popular.
[SPEAKER_00]: We are orcs are fun.
[SPEAKER_00]: They are enjoyable and if you don't own an orc army, you should be thinking about building one.
[SPEAKER_00]: That is it.
[SPEAKER_00]: That is a
[SPEAKER_01]: you can never hate an army that the more of them they are, the stronger they get, not because there's more because they actually become stronger.
[SPEAKER_00]: They are a hilarious, and we're going to cover a lot of this as we go through this.
[SPEAKER_00]: The stories that are the orcs are actually maybe the best part is because they're objectively hilarious stories or hilarious stories.
[SPEAKER_00]: They are great in every way you're from.
[SPEAKER_00]: First, you know, they miss pronounced half this stuff.
[SPEAKER_00]: So let's start off with what are the orcs?
[SPEAKER_00]: And I wrote a horrible joke here, but we're doing this.
[SPEAKER_00]: They're actually not a species like we think of.
[SPEAKER_00]: They're a fungus.
[SPEAKER_00]: because they are fun guys.
[SPEAKER_00]: God.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I'm doing it.
[SPEAKER_00]: I was literally going to pull it.
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, blow the race.
[SPEAKER_00]: No way.
[SPEAKER_00]: I made the notes.
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm making a damn joke.
[SPEAKER_00]: So the orcs are actually they're not traditionally reproducing species that like lays eggs or or mammals.
[SPEAKER_01]: It also means that screw guys and Laura, their mayor may not be the same special character out there a bunch of times because you don't kill orcs.
[SPEAKER_00]: You just delayed these delay them, which is why, and this is to cover that piece of other than why there's some terrifying, once Orcs hit a planet.
[SPEAKER_00]: The planet's ruined.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's over because the spores are there.
[SPEAKER_00]: You can't remove spores.
[SPEAKER_00]: They're just, we can't.
[SPEAKER_00]: You destroy the planet.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and I actually wrote here suck it all in or because.
[SPEAKER_00]: We ruined you forever.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, you defeated them at Ulnar, and then you had to rename it when Armageddon came out because the Orcs eventually were like, yeah, we're actually still here.
[SPEAKER_00]: And lady, cute parade you had, but Arton, they're also, they can literally stitch themselves back together.
[SPEAKER_00]: They can regrow limbs.
[SPEAKER_00]: But you're, you're, you're, you're not, you're not giving the proper thing.
[SPEAKER_00]: They can grab other Orcs limbs.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: And they get jammed them on themselves.
[SPEAKER_00]: And go, bro, this is my, I lost my shooting arm, but he lost his shooting arm.
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm a grab, hit his shooting arm, and look, I've got a new shot.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's actual stories that have happened with two work guys, lost one arm, and the other also lost the other arm, and they traded arms.
[SPEAKER_00]: And now they both, and they're back together.
[SPEAKER_00]: This by the way, is arms.
[SPEAKER_00]: They can put their heads back on something else.
[SPEAKER_01]: Also true, because they have to, because Orcs, again, orcs are the most powerful psychers in the galaxy.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: We're going to go like, I really do believe or absurd.
[SPEAKER_01]: They are the road brothers of forty.
[SPEAKER_00]: Most powerful species in the galaxy.
[SPEAKER_00]: I really do.
[SPEAKER_01]: I can't.
[SPEAKER_01]: Roadrunner.
[SPEAKER_00]: They just believe the things.
[SPEAKER_00]: They go right through anything.
[SPEAKER_00]: They are, they are the most powerful.
[SPEAKER_00]: They're thankful incredibly stupid, but they are the most powerful species.
[SPEAKER_01]: Wow.
[SPEAKER_01]: That was dumb.
[SPEAKER_00]: And that's again, what makes the fun.
[SPEAKER_00]: The only way to remove an orc completely is to burn it with fire.
[SPEAKER_00]: That's it.
[SPEAKER_00]: So sisters, you got your, you got your enemy.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: And they do hate emails.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: The sisters and salamanders, you should fight the yorks.
[SPEAKER_00]: Let's not send anyone just with balters because it's adorable.
[SPEAKER_00]: Orcs are also Greek and big.
[SPEAKER_00]: Although some of them may be purple and never seen one.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: You've never seen a purple orc.
[SPEAKER_00]: So
[SPEAKER_00]: say, they might be some purple ones and they're just very, very steep.
[SPEAKER_01]: Can we just say that red still goes faster though?
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, it's one of my favorite parts is it is a belief in based species.
[SPEAKER_00]: But so what an orchestra does you who aren't paying attention.
[SPEAKER_00]: They're green, they're large.
[SPEAKER_00]: Their skin is about the same density as space between armor.
[SPEAKER_01]: Let's just go to have you seen wow.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, World Warcraft is an option.
[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, honestly, the Lord of the Rings, anything you ever watch with involves it works.
[SPEAKER_00]: There's a consistency that they are big.
[SPEAKER_00]: They are green.
[SPEAKER_00]: But also, they're hard to say.
[SPEAKER_01]: All of those things I just said.
[SPEAKER_01]: Forty k-arks are way tough.
[SPEAKER_00]: Forty k-arks are of all of the fancy works.
[SPEAKER_00]: They're the best works.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's laughably.
[SPEAKER_01]: All those things we just said, luxury.
[SPEAKER_00]: Orcs are incredible.
[SPEAKER_00]: They also feel almost no pain.
[SPEAKER_00]: You can shoot Narkin.
[SPEAKER_00]: He will look at the hole and then continue his doing.
[SPEAKER_00]: There's even stories of Orcs who are dead and are still fighting.
[SPEAKER_01]: They just refuse to acknowledge their death.
[SPEAKER_00]: That's actually real story of Orcs are people kill the Orcs and the Orcs just keeps going.
[SPEAKER_00]: Just doesn't believe it.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, none.
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not dead yet.
[SPEAKER_00]: They also grow for their entire life.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's the thing on that because of the fact that as you get the Orcs get more powerful as they get older and as they accomplish more things because again, they believe.
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, they actually, the cool thing they have grown, they literally level up
[SPEAKER_00]: Like in a video game, if an orc defeats an enemy, he levels up and gets bigger.
[SPEAKER_00]: He gets more powerful because he believes he's more powerful.
[SPEAKER_00]: And it's not a stupid Skyrim world where you have dynamic scaling of opponents.
[SPEAKER_00]: They actually are better.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: And the thing is, is that the more things that they kill, the better they get, and they actually start really small.
[SPEAKER_00]: Works start really small.
[SPEAKER_00]: They start as boys.
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm saying, but they, nobody, well, they come out as boys.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but they come, does go.
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm saying, but they come out as boys.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: But they come out as the miniature.
[SPEAKER_00]: You should avoid this species and then they actually and then they grow and they become a knob and if once they become a knob they can then become a war boss.
[SPEAKER_00]: But what's fun about it works is remember at each stage year they have to beat up every other or to get there.
[SPEAKER_01]: But it's also they become specialized.
[SPEAKER_01]: You know what they become specialized on?
[SPEAKER_01]: Whatever someone told them that they need to do.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yep.
[SPEAKER_00]: This is what you are.
[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: If someone says you have to be this you go
[SPEAKER_00]: All right, it would say I do think that forty k orcs compare really well with warcraft orcs.
[SPEAKER_00]: The old okey dokey.
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm on it.
[SPEAKER_00]: That's orcs.
[SPEAKER_00]: If it made it this reference, you don't think it goes like go play warcraft.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's an incredible game.
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, tides of darkness so amazing.
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, I'm the I'm talking workcraft one.
[SPEAKER_01]: No, it's nothing, but the workcraft one.
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, you're tied to the darkness.
[SPEAKER_00]: It was the DLC.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, we had DLCs on disk.
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm Brad and I are old.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: What I'm saying is the thing is is that works.
[SPEAKER_01]: Become what the wad needs them to become.
[SPEAKER_00]: They're also what's called a collective mind, which I actually misspelled in my notes, so I'm realizing that right now, I just spelled that wrong.
[SPEAKER_00]: Anyway, orgs are collective, so the more orgs that are in one place, the smarter they get, and the more capable they get, and the more powerful they get though.
[SPEAKER_00]: And so orgs are, it, so this is again going into it, but for when orgs infest the planet, it's just kind of over already, and orgs also have one purpose, and it is,
[SPEAKER_00]: fight, it's also to fight, and then they're purpose of fighting.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's the thing is they don't care in the best part about this, and this is why Orcs aren't scary.
[SPEAKER_01]: Even though they shouldn't, like they were talking about in the beginning, Orcs should be terribly literally the boogie man.
[SPEAKER_01]: They should be scary than turns.
[SPEAKER_01]: scarier than the bug that reproduces than infiltration society, but because of the fact that orcs aren't inherently evil, they're just bread to do a thing.
[SPEAKER_00]: They have no purpose other than fight.
[SPEAKER_00]: Like we say, if there's nobody around, they will fight each other.
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm using the word fight not conquer for a very specific reason.
[SPEAKER_00]: They don't want to conquer.
[SPEAKER_00]: everything else wants to conquer.
[SPEAKER_00]: Orcs just want to fight if they lose, they want to tell everyone, hey, these guys beat me, you guys go for it.
[SPEAKER_00]: Not as they we need to win this because that was super fun.
[SPEAKER_00]: And I lost next guy up.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yep.
[SPEAKER_01]: And the thing is is that that's why Orcs are the funnest army.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: And
[SPEAKER_00]: why they're not the most terrifying.
[SPEAKER_00]: If you're playing Forty Kay and you play someone who plays Orcs and he loses and he's salty remind me of playing Orcs.
[SPEAKER_00]: Because it's literally the rule.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it doesn't even matter.
[SPEAKER_00]: You're supposed to go home.
[SPEAKER_00]: Orcs never lose.
[SPEAKER_00]: That's also true.
[SPEAKER_00]: And Orc is never be.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: And the thing is is that.
[SPEAKER_01]: So let's go, be let's go basics.
[SPEAKER_00]: Let's go back where do they come from?
[SPEAKER_01]: Where do they come from?
[SPEAKER_01]: The old ones created the Orcs specifically to find.
[SPEAKER_01]: They were fighting against the necrontair and the contan or the seetan.
[SPEAKER_01]: Listen to that episode.
[SPEAKER_01]: We never changed that we never did.
[SPEAKER_00]: We just guessed our way through and never as we would do about them.
[SPEAKER_00]: I will flip things.
[SPEAKER_01]: But the orcs are specifically they're literally genetically engineered to fight.
[SPEAKER_01]: Period.
[SPEAKER_00]: No stop.
[SPEAKER_00]: Nothing else.
[SPEAKER_00]: There was never.
[SPEAKER_00]: There's no poetry.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, they're also the perfect organism because they instantly do fighting.
[SPEAKER_01]: They, they're, tear-nits, or we'll do this much later, tear-nits are, the Zerg, or the Starcraft, they adapt to whatever.
[SPEAKER_01]: Orcs are already perfect for everything they need to do because anything they need to do, they just effectively imagine it.
[SPEAKER_00]: Orcs are also encoded with genetic memories.
[SPEAKER_00]: Every other species that exists in the universe may be tyrannies, is the other way they might have this, have to learn a behavior.
[SPEAKER_00]: They are created, they grow up, and they learn to be of orcs.
[SPEAKER_00]: Once they pop out of the fungus, or out of the spore, just know how to do things.
[SPEAKER_00]: Everything needed to do.
[SPEAKER_00]: Why do you why?
[SPEAKER_00]: They just do.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's pretty obvious that this is where Brad had a discussion with the old ones about, you know, created races versus uplifted races with works where obviously created because they're also stupid, which the old ones, I think, did intentionally.
[SPEAKER_00]: I think they realized, hey, if I'm going to make the greatest fighting force in the galaxy, let's not let them have a lot of strategy intelligence because they would win everything.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I think that it's time to just that.
[SPEAKER_01]: I think that they made it so that they
[SPEAKER_01]: the old ones didn't plan on losing.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: So the old ones said, I'm going to create this perfect fighting force, but I can't have it have its own will, because then it will go do possibly.
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, I know Necron tiered of various plans.
[SPEAKER_01]: We need to be fully thumb on this race and then oops, we left.
[SPEAKER_00]: And this is probably what makes the work so fun is that they get kind of losing earlier.
[SPEAKER_00]: Orcs are fun because, yeah, they are
[SPEAKER_00]: this violent race that conquers and destroys a galaxy, but they don't do it with intent.
[SPEAKER_00]: There's no desire, or, like, for example, a difference isn't if Orcs land on a planet, or they arrive on a planet, and there is a giant space marine base and a ton of civilians.
[SPEAKER_01]: They only attack the marine.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, because that's where the fighters, they, they, they find no joint killing all this place where they will be made fun of.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, maybe mock by that works for like, are you killed a bunch of like dudes like this?
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, this was a real fight.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: No, but, but the bunch of orcs who like the orc boy who by himself goes and and takes his chop and tries to take out an imperial night, that man that is that is the orc of legends.
[SPEAKER_00]: So they are, they are fantastic.
[SPEAKER_00]: The problem for the orgs and this comes to what we discussed earlier is they were created sixty million years ago with a very specific purpose of killing the Necront here, or actually Necront's as stage and a satan, and being subservient to the old ones.
[SPEAKER_01]: The old ones, they have nobody in charge.
[SPEAKER_00]: The old ones disappeared and they old ones never passed over the control codes to the L-DAR.
[SPEAKER_00]: So the orgs have spent sixteen million years wandering around looking for a watering around in an El Camino.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Driving very rusted.
[SPEAKER_01]: Driving bar to bar.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Taking fights with
[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, yes.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's fairly accurate.
[SPEAKER_01]: Also, and then you believe that you got stronger by beating a guy up and you do.
[SPEAKER_00]: That is, we'll get the forty first millennia because we talked about this even the thirty thirty of millennia and prior that the mankind kept bumping into orcs.
[SPEAKER_00]: Never thought they did.
[SPEAKER_00]: It was a huge problem.
[SPEAKER_01]: And they've been everywhere.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's just funny because the orcs have a legit and the thing is, is that orcs kind of stagnate if they don't find an opponent.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, they actually struggle quite a bit.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, they will actually diminish and orcs have kind of almost died out in some of the stories.
[SPEAKER_00]: because they have to have no one to fight.
[SPEAKER_01]: They have to fight someone or they have no purpose.
[SPEAKER_01]: And if they don't have any purpose, they just start to go away from here.
[SPEAKER_00]: I want to dive into some of the reasons why we love works and important stories.
[SPEAKER_00]: The first one because one of my favorites is the God's in question mark of works rotation.
[SPEAKER_00]: So you have Gork and Ormork.
[SPEAKER_00]: And this is fun for, if you want to say books, this is what makes Orcs so much fun.
[SPEAKER_00]: The Orcs have two gods, maybe.
[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe.
[SPEAKER_00]: So they're pretty sure that they have gods, gork, and mork, but they might only be one god.
[SPEAKER_00]: But also, it's two.
[SPEAKER_01]: And also, they might not be gods, they might just not, they might be big or.
[SPEAKER_00]: They might have been original cork.
[SPEAKER_00]: And one was definitely probably called Gork, and the other was definitely probably maybe called Mork.
[SPEAKER_01]: And one is brutal but cunning, and the other is cunning but brutal.
[SPEAKER_00]: We know, and we're not sure which one is which.
[SPEAKER_00]: And if you don't understand why that's funny,
[SPEAKER_00]: take a few minutes and understand that's awesome.
[SPEAKER_00]: They are fantastic.
[SPEAKER_01]: And so everything they can't, by the way, the or gods might not be gods.
[SPEAKER_01]: They might just be big orcs that wandered off.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, they wander at one point because as we said, orcs always get grow for their entire lifespan.
[SPEAKER_00]: And so we have sixty million years.
[SPEAKER_00]: You know, there might have been two orcs who were a million years old.
[SPEAKER_00]: Everyone went and one was named.
[SPEAKER_00]: Gwork, they may work, or there's just one of them in who cares.
[SPEAKER_00]: But the entire art culture is built around this.
[SPEAKER_00]: And the other cool thing about is that the orcs also believe that the gods favor them in combat, which wouldn't get to in a little bit, the power of orc belief is something really great because it's real.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, they, it orcs believe in it.
[SPEAKER_00]: It is real.
[SPEAKER_00]: So, let me go on Mark, please.
[SPEAKER_00]: Let's not think about it or then go on Mark's.
[SPEAKER_00]: Or culture has a very complicated structure, which is what's the biggest, cool, in-charge.
[SPEAKER_00]: That's the entire structure.
[SPEAKER_01]: I'll say, the biggest guy is almost like the Alps structure, which is biggest hat.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, biggest hat, yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Orks are biggest god.
[SPEAKER_01]: And by the way, it is physically the biggest guy.
[SPEAKER_01]: Also,
[SPEAKER_01]: This is the best part about anyways.
[SPEAKER_01]: When the biggest guy is in charge, everybody else believing in the biggest guy in charge means he gets big.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yes.
[SPEAKER_01]: Then believing that he is in charge physically makes him bigger.
[SPEAKER_00]: These things are good.
[SPEAKER_00]: Although the irony is that there are a creature who gets them to go to Gretchen, who actually do all the work.
[SPEAKER_00]: So if you have a giant or who's in charge, and they show up places to wage war and the Gretchen kind of hand them a stick or hand them a gun or whatever is.
[SPEAKER_00]: So what we say who runs the or who runs Oerks, the biggest one is in charge, the Gretchen run everything.
[SPEAKER_01]: I was going to sing the answer in a second there, but that's just in this.
[SPEAKER_00]: That's not going to work.
[SPEAKER_00]: So there's types of works.
[SPEAKER_00]: The first one is a like all true works.
[SPEAKER_00]: So we haven't worked.
[SPEAKER_01]: But they start small.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it starts small.
[SPEAKER_00]: Exactly.
[SPEAKER_01]: Which side.
[SPEAKER_01]: We already we already ended this out.
[SPEAKER_01]: They have, you start as the smallest of works, which is the base work, which is the boy, but you are, even, you are effectively boy-light, you are tiny, and you legit, again, I can't stress this enough.
[SPEAKER_01]: As you do things you level up and you literally get bigger.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, this is the indie guys.
[SPEAKER_00]: This is pure D&D.
[SPEAKER_00]: Like, faculty will go, like, sit back whenever it goes down.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's works.
[SPEAKER_00]: But they do that.
[SPEAKER_00]: Once you graduate from or can you fought enough battles and you believe in yourself, you become the next level up, which is a knob.
[SPEAKER_01]: which is just a bigger version of a boy.
[SPEAKER_01]: And then you grab a larger weapon because you believe you can, which again, we will get back to.
[SPEAKER_01]: And then if you get long enough, you hit enough people, you become a war boss, which you also can go other places.
[SPEAKER_01]: Again, we have to specify that when enough works are together,
[SPEAKER_01]: They believe in each other.
[SPEAKER_01]: They make things happen.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's a real thing.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's amazing.
[SPEAKER_01]: And then you just go, hey, we need more of this.
[SPEAKER_01]: And all of a sudden, you go, I need guys to be more durable.
[SPEAKER_01]: And then they just decide there's a guy that makes you more durable.
[SPEAKER_00]: And why?
[SPEAKER_00]: More durable.
[SPEAKER_01]: Why does that work?
[SPEAKER_01]: Because you think it works.
[SPEAKER_00]: There are most powerful species.
[SPEAKER_01]: And this is why sometimes you have an entire unit that doesn't have a head.
[UNKNOWN]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Because the pain boy said, you guys are fine.
[SPEAKER_00]: I am going to continue this in this podcast, our podcast.
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, so the most powerful species in the galaxy.
[SPEAKER_01]: There's actual stories about almost dead or units, but they're convinced that they're fine, even though they're dead, that make charges.
[SPEAKER_01]: It literally, it's not undead.
[SPEAKER_01]: They just all believe they're still alive.
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm still alive.
[SPEAKER_01]: There's guys with literal holes through their chest.
[SPEAKER_01]: And they're like, yeah, but the the guy in charge said that I'm okay.
[SPEAKER_00]: So apparently I'm going to go over there.
[SPEAKER_00]: Hit that guy.
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm fine.
[SPEAKER_01]: He said you're fine.
[SPEAKER_01]: Just grab your weapon and go.
[SPEAKER_00]: And yes.
[SPEAKER_00]: Another key point of works are odd boys, which is it?
[SPEAKER_00]: No, just great name for them, which is specialized or specialized.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
[SPEAKER_00]: They're just born with knowledge, and they can do things like doctors.
[SPEAKER_00]: Now again, we say doctor, it's not a doctor.
[SPEAKER_00]: They literally stitch people by the other.
[SPEAKER_00]: Those orcs.
[SPEAKER_01]: But it's real fun, though, because they have literally guys that do, I mean, one.
[SPEAKER_01]: They just know that psychics happen.
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, did I mention the fact that they get better with psychics?
[SPEAKER_00]: If there's more people in the world, because they all believe in my believe in a psych.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: That's how this works.
[SPEAKER_00]: We've got it.
[SPEAKER_01]: And maybe it may be I blow up because too many people believe in me.
[SPEAKER_00]: That's actually a bad loss for tentative vision.
[SPEAKER_00]: That was one of the best parts of the night edition was that year.
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I got thirty boys nearby.
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to roll.
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to roll this.
[SPEAKER_00]: All right.
[SPEAKER_00]: I rolled a fourteen.
[SPEAKER_00]: They really believe in me, but they believed a little too much.
[SPEAKER_00]: Now I'm very exploded.
[SPEAKER_00]: God, really sorry.
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm a bitch about tenth edition of it.
[SPEAKER_00]: But, orcs are we have orcs for food, we have orcs for logistics, we have orcs drivers because if you're gonna go fast, you have to believe again.
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, you gotta believe you go fast and paint paint your color.
[SPEAKER_00]: The next species within their art collection.
[SPEAKER_00]: what you're awesome is grots.
[SPEAKER_01]: So in the grots, legitimately, fix everything, they make everything and they kind of make our society good.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, they fix it, they clean stuff, they load all the weapons, because it looks can't figure that one out.
[SPEAKER_00]: They actually, your fun one story is they actually run black markets where they sell guns, because orcs do have a currency of teeth.
[SPEAKER_00]: We'll cover that at some point.
[SPEAKER_00]: It teeth.
[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you very much.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, of teeth.
[SPEAKER_00]: And it's worth an hour.
[SPEAKER_00]: So the Gretchen are actually the,
[SPEAKER_00]: The smart ones and we'll cover brain boys probably in the now their episode because it's kind of a fun one else side.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's different.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's different.
[SPEAKER_00]: But where they kind of come from, but Gretchen are actually the more intelligent, but they're diminutive in size.
[SPEAKER_00]: The Gretchen or correlation ship is not even close.
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, the Gretchen or what?
[SPEAKER_01]: A quarter.
[SPEAKER_00]: The core of the size, but the cool thing is the Gretchen like the relationship because, yeah, they kind of abused and whatever, but they're very safe because they're surrounded.
[SPEAKER_01]: They also write on top of other arts.
[SPEAKER_00]: Gretchen do a lot of cool things, though, but they also are used in warfare, and they're used in some of my favorite ways.
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, that's grandma.
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm so good about that.
[SPEAKER_00]: You now love Amoran.
[SPEAKER_00]: They're five, but really we're going to compare them to being the actual weapon.
[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, that's pretty old.
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't like we've got grott bomb pilots, which is a grott in a rocket that gets shot out things and they steer it into and also
[SPEAKER_00]: fly all of the planes.
[SPEAKER_00]: If I all of the planes, they also will get entuned into a killer can.
[SPEAKER_00]: They manage gun crews though.
[SPEAKER_00]: So like all the big guns.
[SPEAKER_00]: They shoot them.
[SPEAKER_00]: They drive actually a lot of the vehicles because they should have better vision.
[SPEAKER_00]: Hello, do they drive?
[SPEAKER_00]: Are they to think they drove all of them?
[SPEAKER_00]: No, the battle wagons and they're talking about transports.
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm talking about the actual like the so they things issues.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's this thing.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's all the planes or it's fly almost all the planes all the guns.
[SPEAKER_01]: All my guns.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, the killer cans.
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
[SPEAKER_00]: They're there.
[SPEAKER_00]: They're big part of Gorkenauts and Stompos.
[SPEAKER_00]: They shoot all the guns and
[SPEAKER_00]: Sure, they sure that they also do the gargants and the starships.
[SPEAKER_00]: They do all the logistics.
[SPEAKER_00]: They do most the cooking, actually.
[SPEAKER_00]: They do all the weapons.
[SPEAKER_00]: They run all the big guns.
[SPEAKER_00]: They are actually in driving all the big vehicles and our ammunition.
[SPEAKER_01]: But they seem legit.
[SPEAKER_00]: They are incredible.
[SPEAKER_00]: And for those of us who play forty-eight competitively, they hold objectives better than most things in the game.
[SPEAKER_00]: I can't believe he dropped snoutlings.
[SPEAKER_00]: We'll be right back after a quick break.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's not links.
[SPEAKER_00]: Snoutlings are pointless.
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, no, snoutlings are food.
[SPEAKER_00]: So, snoutlings are a smaller version of a grot.
[SPEAKER_00]: They are, they're used for a couple of different things.
[SPEAKER_00]: They actually can be food sometimes.
[SPEAKER_00]: They heard a lot of the works squigs.
[SPEAKER_00]: The squigs will also be the snoutlings, but the snoutlings have a very important role.
[SPEAKER_00]: And the important role is there's a shock attack gun in the game because they get jammed in the back and they get fired on the front.
[SPEAKER_01]: But wait a second, what's in the middle?
[SPEAKER_01]: The warp.
[SPEAKER_01]: Sometimes things change between now and that.
[SPEAKER_00]: This is a gun and for those of us who play orcs, we love this gun even though it's kind of sucked for about six years.
[SPEAKER_00]: This is a gun that has a vacuum in the back that sucks a snottling through the vacuum.
[SPEAKER_00]: Spins it through it speeds it up to a warp travel speed and fires it out the front at an enemy.
[SPEAKER_01]: Weirdly enough, snowings are all these snowlings.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Like everything else gets better.
[SPEAKER_00]: They're just not links.
[SPEAKER_01]: Except for snout links, snout links, sorry, snout links.
[SPEAKER_00]: You are always snout links.
[SPEAKER_00]: The last one, those are another is actually, I'm going to keep saying my favorite because I don't have a favorite in New York sense.
[SPEAKER_00]: I love the fact that you've said everything's your favorite.
[SPEAKER_00]: Because they're all fantastic.
[SPEAKER_00]: Squigs.
[SPEAKER_00]: Now, oopsie, squigs, we're going to jump to what a squig is and talk about how great they are.
[SPEAKER_00]: Squigs are tearing it.
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, hold on.
[SPEAKER_00]: A Rick is sworn.
[SPEAKER_00]: Sometimes, as they squake scores.
[SPEAKER_01]: So like, let's talk about the movie aliens.
[SPEAKER_01]: But aliens happens on board an orc vessel.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, which is effectively what happened in aliens with humans.
[SPEAKER_01]: They killed the humans.
[SPEAKER_01]: They hunted them down.
[SPEAKER_01]: And everybody was terrified when aliens happened on an orc vessel.
[SPEAKER_01]: The aliens showed up on the orc vessel.
[SPEAKER_01]: No one was terrified and they went, oh, look at this pretty alien and they made it up.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, they, and they bred it.
[SPEAKER_00]: They went, they took it home and a leash from a cat.
[SPEAKER_00]: This is canon.
[SPEAKER_00]: The first race in the Milky Way to encounter tyrannids.
[SPEAKER_00]: who made them pet.
[SPEAKER_00]: They domesticated them and immediately like this.
[SPEAKER_00]: They legitimately put them on a leash and went, oh, we're just gonna ride them.
[SPEAKER_00]: Let's just have some fun with squigs for a bit.
[SPEAKER_00]: So squigs vary in size from a thing that's actually on a stick that you chew on all the way up to someone called an orcasaurus.
[SPEAKER_00]: which is a giant.
[SPEAKER_00]: So the orcs for who knows how many millions of years have been breeding growing.
[SPEAKER_00]: And the best part is is some of the spirits.
[SPEAKER_00]: Some of the spirits.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, some of the squigs they've domesticated to blow up.
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, squigs are just awesome.
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, what do you do with them?
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, I didn't mean they blew up genetically.
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean,
[SPEAKER_01]: They made them wrapped a bomb on the I strap bombs to them and I made them super friendly so they run and want to play with whatever it is in front of them space marine and they I mean and they've had a dog run towards you with joy that imagine it's it's a dog with a
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm trying to dynamite.
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm just wondering, I want to be your friend.
[SPEAKER_00]: You don't please don't.
[SPEAKER_01]: And there's so much dynamite on the screen.
[SPEAKER_00]: Squeaks are awesome.
[SPEAKER_00]: Squeaks, they're rides.
[SPEAKER_00]: So for squid hog boys, swig offs, they're not, they have not let me build an orchestra yet, but the second they do.
[SPEAKER_00]: Lookin' your way forward.
[SPEAKER_00]: Lookin' your way forward.
[SPEAKER_00]: Lookin' your way forward, rolled, you know.
[SPEAKER_00]: But again, you sell a man literally.
[SPEAKER_00]: No, an orchestra.
[SPEAKER_01]: What is probably the scariest thing in the galaxy and the Orcs of media reaction was we should make this our pet.
[SPEAKER_00]: And also, boo on you, Territis, that the Orcs were able to make a gargantuan squigoth and what did you give us?
[SPEAKER_00]: A dime, my Karen, that's adorable.
[SPEAKER_00]: Weeks of compared to squigoth.
[SPEAKER_00]: A gargantuan squigoth is a hundred times cooler.
[SPEAKER_00]: They're awesome.
[SPEAKER_00]: And we can ride them.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, we are there by them.
[SPEAKER_00]: Open top twenty.
[SPEAKER_00]: They're also used for weapons.
[SPEAKER_00]: There's there are squigs who they use for oiling their weapons.
[SPEAKER_00]: There are bomb squigs.
[SPEAKER_00]: They strap bombs to burn a squigs.
[SPEAKER_01]: You're not going to do the alliteration that you already set up.
[SPEAKER_01]: Screw you, I got this.
[SPEAKER_01]: Go.
[SPEAKER_01]: Bomb squakes, a furnace squake, boom squake, buddy squakes, buddies.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I didn't do that by accident.
[SPEAKER_00]: I, for, for our notes, I kind of, I capitalized my, I have the rights, the orcs of the squakes that you ride, then the weapons.
[SPEAKER_00]: Ed, yeah, the oil bomb, but also boom.
[SPEAKER_00]: And this is an important distinction.
[SPEAKER_00]: A bomb squig is a friendly squig I put dynamite on.
[SPEAKER_00]: A boom squig blows up on its own.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and my favorite one though is still by these squigs.
[SPEAKER_00]: Guess what by these squigs do.
[SPEAKER_01]: Wait for it.
[SPEAKER_01]: They're pretty aggressive.
[SPEAKER_00]: They're not that domesticated.
[SPEAKER_00]: And they're kept on leashes and war bosses carry them so that you get extra attacks.
[SPEAKER_00]: And that's great.
[SPEAKER_01]: They legitimately just let them go.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: And then they try to murder whatever is in front of them.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, there's what a bite bite bite bite bite.
[SPEAKER_00]: You also have your buddy squigs like your attack squigs and your heard squigs equally enjoyable.
[SPEAKER_01]: I do love the fact that they literally have
[SPEAKER_01]: heard squeaks.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: You have to shut it, squeak.
[SPEAKER_01]: You have a literally dollar squeaks.
[SPEAKER_01]: The squeaks are not going to hurt themselves.
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I've had that dog and it is a dumb dog.
[SPEAKER_00]: They can be I've also had heard.
[SPEAKER_01]: Herdsquake for me is my undead.
[SPEAKER_01]: Same thing.
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I don't try to catalogue.
[SPEAKER_00]: He was smart, but he was also gonna be dead.
[SPEAKER_01]: Mine was not.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Then you have your food squigs, chew and squig, and again, if you don't take joy in the naming mechanics that orgs use, I can't help you with this way.
[SPEAKER_01]: The cabsquake is literally a chicken.
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, you know it.
[SPEAKER_00]: There's a chewing squig.
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: The chewing squig is an overly tough piece of meat.
[SPEAKER_00]: He's the beef jerky.
[SPEAKER_00]: So the cow's squig is literally your meal.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's KFC, but they also use her a life by the way.
[SPEAKER_00]: A chewing squig.
[SPEAKER_00]: They chew on a chewing.
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: That's a lie.
[SPEAKER_00]: It wasn't in your squeaks while you'd like down on the way and just keep and because he's going to do, when an orc needs to do some thinking,
[SPEAKER_00]: They grab a chewing squid, which is a squishy squid going to stick, and they just nod it while it squeaks, and they do their thinking.
[SPEAKER_00]: A gob squig is when you're a little bit hungry, and you throw it in your mouth, and you chew on your gob squig.
[SPEAKER_00]: I can't say bucket of KFC, but an orc bucket.
[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, it is squigs are great, but I just want to bring back this as an important point here.
[SPEAKER_00]: They're tyrannists.
[SPEAKER_00]: And squigs are in my mind, a swelp.
[SPEAKER_00]: Do theories have that they have that the materials do have a boom squig effectively because we have spawn.
[SPEAKER_01]: They still have a warp entity.
[SPEAKER_01]: They're breeding warp entities.
[SPEAKER_00]: And they don't care.
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm just going back into the fact that Orcs captured and domesticated tyrannids and their version of tyrannids might be better in tyrannids.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, they also, again, eat them, use them as weapons, and also sometimes paths.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and back to those paths and ride them around.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: The irony here, I want to point out to when we touched this last episode briefly is there is a belief in the forticated group that tear in its are old ones.
[SPEAKER_00]: I like the idea that the creature that created the Orcs, the Orcs have now domesticated.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
[SPEAKER_00]: And chew on when they want to do something.
[SPEAKER_01]: By the way, accidentally with no plan.
[SPEAKER_00]: What sort of just happened?
[SPEAKER_00]: Like these things look cool.
[SPEAKER_00]: Tom, I mean, I can guarantee you the first or committed tyranny.
[SPEAKER_00]: The tyranny bit the orcs are him off and the rest of the orcs went, that's our new pet.
[SPEAKER_00]: That thing's awesome, we're keeping this.
[SPEAKER_00]: Like, everything else from it has, has shot us or run away.
[SPEAKER_00]: And this thing tried to bite us.
[SPEAKER_00]: Let's make it friends.
[SPEAKER_01]: I've been waiting to do this part for a while now.
[SPEAKER_00]: Here we go.
[SPEAKER_00]: We're just diving to save us for the end of this episode.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's literally going to shoot me away.
[SPEAKER_01]: By the way, I'm going to be headed out of so much of my own episode.
[SPEAKER_00]: Of course, yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: One of the greatest pieces about Earth.
[SPEAKER_00]: is the power of the leaf.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, if you couldn't hear that sound that was sound of Brad rubbing his hands together, it looks like the entire thing.
[SPEAKER_00]: This is so many things to talk about.
[SPEAKER_00]: We're just wondering for a while.
[SPEAKER_00]: The great Orcs greatest power is their power of belief.
[SPEAKER_00]: Orcs go.
[SPEAKER_01]: Psychically believe things into being.
[SPEAKER_01]: Not, okay, they don't.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's bigger than that.
[SPEAKER_00]: Tyrionids, second, third, third, Eldar.
[SPEAKER_00]: Psychically believe something and it manifests.
[SPEAKER_00]: orcs affect the universe with their thoughts.
[SPEAKER_01]: They just make things happen into being, and that's just how they are.
[SPEAKER_01]: One of my, I'm going to get two back-to-back stories about orcs being awesome and believing things.
[SPEAKER_01]: One, this is from an inquisition stories.
[SPEAKER_01]: Humans, the inquisition has captured an org.
[SPEAKER_00]: And I was a lot of work by the way.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, and he has a, they throw down a boulder.
[SPEAKER_01]: which is what a slug at.
[SPEAKER_01]: Sorry for them, which is literally a piece of metal.
[SPEAKER_01]: Literally.
[SPEAKER_00]: Grat metal, kind of shaped like a gun.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's just, it's like you just took a... There's no chamber, there's no ammunition, there's no pin.
[SPEAKER_00]: There's nothing, yeah, there's nothing.
[SPEAKER_01]: It is literally if you just took your welding torch and carved approximately what a gun would look like out of a piece of steel.
[SPEAKER_01]: And no one can figure out why, what is happening?
[SPEAKER_01]: And they had an order and they unleashed him from his cage and he grabbed that piece of metal and shot everybody.
[SPEAKER_00]: And it made it happen because, well, clearly that's a gun.
[SPEAKER_00]: My gun.
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm shoots ammo.
[SPEAKER_00]: And if I go, if I go this way, it makes boom boom noises and things die.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
[SPEAKER_00]: What's the issue?
[SPEAKER_01]: The next better part is Orx Spaceships.
[SPEAKER_01]: Orx.
[SPEAKER_01]: not real precision welders, wide open spaces in their spaceships.
[SPEAKER_01]: But they just believe that their spaceships, so they just fly into space.
[SPEAKER_01]: Because, well, I was told it's a spaceship.
[SPEAKER_01]: So clearly it's a spaceship.
[SPEAKER_01]: And then when people board the spaceship and they go, hey,
[SPEAKER_01]: This ship has three to four feet between all of the walls.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's not even, it's not even just not airtight.
[SPEAKER_01]: This isn't watered time.
[SPEAKER_01]: This isn't anything tight.
[SPEAKER_00]: This is, there's no atmosphere in here in the York.
[SPEAKER_00]: So they're going, yes.
[SPEAKER_00]: Of course there is.
[SPEAKER_00]: I just believe that there is.
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm sitting, I'm breathing.
[SPEAKER_00]: So obviously there's that.
[SPEAKER_01]: So all of their ships are literally scrapybs.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, they're basically, hey, I've got seventy to a thousand pieces of metal.
[SPEAKER_01]: If you weld them together and we all believe that they can fly, they just do.
[SPEAKER_01]: And you're like, that's not a real thing.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, it's for sure is.
[SPEAKER_00]: And this is what we see.
[SPEAKER_00]: This is like warps with their power.
[SPEAKER_00]: They are the most powerful species in the galaxy because their abilities actually warp the reality around them.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so by the way, those things keep happening for other people.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's not like they just believe.
[SPEAKER_01]: So ready, the Marines show up on an orc vehicle or our spaceship.
[SPEAKER_01]: And they show up and they're like, hey, there's four feet of space between every piece of metal in here.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: They're still atmosphere.
[SPEAKER_01]: It works for the Marine.
[SPEAKER_00]: The Marines have atmosphere too.
[SPEAKER_01]: They are still traveling through the warp when they're traveling through the warp because they just decided that they are.
[SPEAKER_01]: And one of my favorite things is the hood of it's Peter Pan because it just is.
[SPEAKER_00]: But for murder.
[SPEAKER_00]: But for murder and murder.
[SPEAKER_01]: So, but the biggest thing is is that they just believe things happen and they do because again, they're the road runner of forty K. Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: that it's more hundred percent.
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm gonna I'm gonna draw a tunnel in this rock.
[SPEAKER_00]: It just happens just run through the tunnel.
[SPEAKER_01]: And the thing is that that's the reason that they're most powerful, but then they're most fun because they don't know that they're the most powerful.
[SPEAKER_01]: And they don't understand because if they had any self awareness, they would have already dominated the galaxy.
[SPEAKER_01]: a couple million years ago.
[SPEAKER_00]: We would be at an org Galaxy.
[SPEAKER_00]: So some of my favorite ones, one of my favorite ones about Orcs is colors.
[SPEAKER_00]: The Orcs have a genuine belief that things are a certain way they're better.
[SPEAKER_00]: The most commonly known one is red.
[SPEAKER_00]: But if they piece me something red, it is faster.
[SPEAKER_00]: Brad's about to get really mad about the colors with the game because I know where he's coming from because I believe he was seventh edition.
[SPEAKER_01]: This means that this was forever.
[SPEAKER_00]: You know, this is forever edition until eight.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Orcs went faster if you pain in the bread.
[SPEAKER_00]: Period.
[SPEAKER_00]: It was the rule.
[SPEAKER_00]: Not if you just had a orc vehicle that was read.
[SPEAKER_00]: You got an interest.
[SPEAKER_00]: One answer one is your more movement.
[SPEAKER_00]: that affected everything.
[SPEAKER_00]: So if you paint it red, answer goes faster.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yellow hits hard.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yellow explodes more.
[SPEAKER_00]: If you painted your weapon yellow, it exploded more.
[SPEAKER_00]: It was obviously more powerful.
[SPEAKER_00]: Dive, everybody knows that.
[SPEAKER_00]: More so it's more powerful.
[SPEAKER_00]: My favorite one though is actually blue.
[SPEAKER_00]: Because it's lucky.
[SPEAKER_00]: Blue, yeah, blue.
[SPEAKER_00]: Everybody knows this.
[SPEAKER_00]: a red truck would go faster than a non-red truck, a yellow rocket would explode bigger.
[SPEAKER_00]: But a blue orc actually affected reality and was harder to hit.
[SPEAKER_01]: Which is why you made your shock attack guns blue because they just rolled better than the chart.
[SPEAKER_00]: But if you try to shoot a blue orc blue vehicle orc, you would miss more.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, because you rolled ones because it's lucky.
[SPEAKER_00]: Because it dodges blue.
[SPEAKER_00]: It would dodge them.
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know why you're saying this, John.
[SPEAKER_01]: These are realities that you need to accept a new one.
[SPEAKER_00]: If you need to make a very sneaky orch, you painted purple.
[SPEAKER_00]: Now unfortunately no one's going to be able to see it because no one's ever seen a purple orch.
[SPEAKER_00]: And that's because they're just that sticky.
[SPEAKER_00]: And the reason I like that story is that there might be actually be purple works.
[SPEAKER_00]: Like that's how powerful their belief is.
[SPEAKER_01]: It is entirely possible that there are an entire range of purple orcs in Forty Cave that are just you know winning wars and don't want to see us out there right now because I am that kind of person could someone please paint me one unit of purple commandals.
[SPEAKER_01]: No.
[SPEAKER_00]: I will never deploy them.
[SPEAKER_00]: I can't see them.
[SPEAKER_00]: That's my point.
[SPEAKER_00]: They give you, they will give you back ten bases.
[SPEAKER_00]: I like that.
[SPEAKER_00]: This would be the better way.
[SPEAKER_00]: And if you're running a tournament, you'll allow me to do this.
[SPEAKER_00]: I will happily show up with just bases.
[SPEAKER_00]: And that is my purple army.
[SPEAKER_00]: I can't see them all.
[SPEAKER_00]: I'll paint the bases.
[SPEAKER_00]: I will paint the bases.
[SPEAKER_00]: I will add texture.
[SPEAKER_00]: I would do the bases.
[SPEAKER_00]: There will be no miles in the bases because
[SPEAKER_00]: Cannot see a purple lurk.
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, clearly I assume the only downside is that they would I be able to run the invisible space wolf from the addition.
[SPEAKER_00]: Is that do we do we have actually making this on run?
[SPEAKER_01]: We just had to stand there together.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I think we can actually just become an unfunner.
[SPEAKER_00]: One thing that also makes or super funny is
[SPEAKER_00]: They travel through the warp, but they don't realize that they do.
[SPEAKER_00]: They just want to be famous.
[SPEAKER_00]: They're players somewhere.
[SPEAKER_00]: So you will have stories literally of Orcs falling out of the sky, where space marines have engaged the Orcs and they're fighting and the battle is close.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's going well.
[SPEAKER_00]: And the sky opens up and a million Orcs fall out of the sky onto the ground because Orcs
[SPEAKER_00]: communicate with each other, but not nail like I'm calling you on the phone.
[SPEAKER_00]: They just sense that someone doesn't get fight.
[SPEAKER_00]: You can't even be happy to get.
[SPEAKER_00]: Or it's a good fight.
[SPEAKER_00]: No.
[SPEAKER_00]: Or it's just no.
[SPEAKER_00]: There's a little sense.
[SPEAKER_00]: No.
[SPEAKER_00]: That's sense.
[SPEAKER_00]: This is confidence.
[SPEAKER_00]: No.
[SPEAKER_00]: And they will appear somewhere out of the sky falling out of the sky because there's a good fight.
[SPEAKER_01]: And the thing is, is that orcs don't travel with a free determine where we have to go.
[SPEAKER_01]: Orcs travel with a, I need a good fight.
[SPEAKER_01]: Take me to the fight.
[SPEAKER_00]: Good fight.
[SPEAKER_00]: Which is a fun little side note here is that if you are in a member of the Imperium and you don't want to get killed by orcs, just be on a planet with no space marines.
[SPEAKER_00]: Don't never show up.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, they need to fight.
[SPEAKER_00]: Don't ever show up.
[SPEAKER_00]: The tiering is the one right over here.
[SPEAKER_00]: Everyone's the one right over here.
[SPEAKER_00]: So it doesn't work out all the way.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, you know, you'll get ruined by chaos to do today.
[SPEAKER_00]: Much of other stuff can't tell you, but the orcs were only going to show up.
[SPEAKER_00]: when there's a big fight to happen.
[SPEAKER_00]: They have no interest in it.
[SPEAKER_00]: The problem is that when they show up, all of them show up.
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, that's a bigger thing.
[SPEAKER_00]: Open, or there's a beautiful space craft.
[SPEAKER_00]: Screw this.
[SPEAKER_01]: Actually, just to my seat for this one, I'm going to get psyched after this one because I'm going to talk about the law.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, let's get into the law.
[SPEAKER_01]: When we get started, the more works to show up, the more the log increases.
[SPEAKER_01]: If you get a big enough fight,
[SPEAKER_01]: all of the works.
[SPEAKER_01]: And I don't mean some of the works.
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean all of the works.
[SPEAKER_01]: It depends how big of a fight it is.
[SPEAKER_01]: So I don't know.
[SPEAKER_01]: Let's say Gazgol starts a fight, which is how Gazgol became Gazgol, which is he started the biggest fight in the galaxy.
[SPEAKER_01]: and all of the orcs noticed because orcs don't think they know there's a fight they didn't sense it they knew that there was a fight to be had
[SPEAKER_01]: The bigger the fight, the bigger the wad, the more arcs that know.
[SPEAKER_01]: Orcs either do, orcs are, there is no try.
[SPEAKER_00]: Orcs are binary.
[SPEAKER_00]: We are, we are there.
[SPEAKER_01]: There is either do or do not.
[SPEAKER_01]: There is, you know about a fight or you don't know about a fight.
[SPEAKER_01]: When you know about a fight, well, you go to the fight.
[SPEAKER_01]: There's no, there's no second option.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, there's just, you go to the fight.
[SPEAKER_01]: We're going to travel through the warp.
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't care about the warp.
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm just going to show up.
[SPEAKER_00]: It orcs in the warp are actually, I really just can't harp on this enough.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's one of the funnest parts of this because they seem to have been imbued with the power of the warp by the old one.
[SPEAKER_01]: No, no, all the bad things.
[SPEAKER_00]: I never got any of the bad things.
[SPEAKER_00]: They just, well, their heads do explode.
[SPEAKER_01]: They just don't accept that the warp has anything in it because they don't the demons want to mess with them, but the orcs don't know they exist.
[SPEAKER_00]: So for the orcs, they don't let's do that story.
[SPEAKER_00]: We're going to close this episode on one more ork story because don't worry, this is not we're doing another work episode.
[SPEAKER_01]: We're going to close the corn.
[SPEAKER_00]: This is actually clear.
[SPEAKER_00]: This is the best stories ever.
[SPEAKER_00]: So, a orc war boss and tribe got in a battle with a number of corn demons and defeated them.
[SPEAKER_00]: And then the corn demons rose up and killed them back.
[SPEAKER_00]: And corn watched this and went, well, this is the greatest species in the galaxy.
[SPEAKER_00]: I want this battle to keep happening.
[SPEAKER_00]: forever.
[SPEAKER_00]: So there is a small section of the warp where an orc warboss and his tribe are perpetually reincarnated by corn every day.
[SPEAKER_00]: Every day to fight his armies that is armies of chaos.
[SPEAKER_00]: And not because he's trying to improve their fighting prowess or to or spraying them and how to fight orcs.
[SPEAKER_00]: because it's the greatest fight he's ever seen.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's also worldwide.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's a, it's not like there's twenty guys fighting in like a temple.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's a worldwide battle of works on corn demons and corn just watches it with joy.
[SPEAKER_00]: Blood for the blood God and Ben, do works have blood.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's a fantastic.
[SPEAKER_00]: This is why works are great though.
[SPEAKER_00]: It works are great because they are the greatest fighting force in the galaxy.
[SPEAKER_00]: being orcs.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: There is nothing better than orcs.
[SPEAKER_00]: They are truly unique.
[SPEAKER_00]: They are fantastic.
[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, it is just a, but they are.
[SPEAKER_01]: The orcs are have the purest intentions of any race.
[SPEAKER_01]: They're meant to fight and they keep fighting.
[SPEAKER_01]: You know, how long they've done it?
[SPEAKER_01]: Carry the one, sixty five million years of fighting.
[SPEAKER_00]: And they just travel around the galaxy smashing their ships into things.
[SPEAKER_01]: You know what they've done different?
[SPEAKER_00]: Nothing.
[SPEAKER_00]: They got the secret recipe.
[SPEAKER_00]: They're like, yes, they did pick up squigs in the way at some point.
[SPEAKER_00]: You're sure you made it.
[SPEAKER_00]: Terran is.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, actually.
[SPEAKER_00]: Like, as a side quest, all these things are awesome.
[SPEAKER_00]: Let's make them a pet looking at you towel.
[SPEAKER_00]: But from there before this excitement actually literally overwhelms us.
[SPEAKER_00]: We're gonna pause and we're gonna move into our next episode and next other we're gonna dive even further into the or this is possible Yeah, because we can I we could I could do twenty minutes on the work.
[SPEAKER_01]: But we haven't actually done one story by the way.
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, we're doing them.
[SPEAKER_00]: That's the next thing.
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm just saying we talked about ours, but we haven't talked about I don't know.
[SPEAKER_01]: Gas call McCurry.
[SPEAKER_01]: Mm-hmm.
[SPEAKER_01]: Moserog.
[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, are my getting arm again.
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, I'm sorry.
[SPEAKER_01]: The biggest work battle.
[SPEAKER_01]: in the last ten thousand years.
[SPEAKER_00]: The biggest battle in the last ten thousand years.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's your story actually.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's battle like the dozen years.
[SPEAKER_00]: Like we are going to dive pretty heavily into Oracle.
[SPEAKER_00]: Or from here on out, but history stories of the works, but also talk about individual work units.
[SPEAKER_00]: There's no scenario where I can spend ten minutes on flaskets.
[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, yeah, you give me or pirates.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's pirates.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: And they want shiny shit.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Who are not even pirates?
[SPEAKER_00]: I think they might have just caught an old recording of pirates, the Caribbean, but yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Johnny Depp is my spirit.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to go where I hat now.
[SPEAKER_00]: This is awesome.
[SPEAKER_00]: How many necklaces do you have?
[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I mean, I can do I can do it long section on storm boys, you know.
[SPEAKER_00]: Space Marines have jet packs.
[SPEAKER_00]: These guys put an exploding rocket in their back, which ones cooler.
[SPEAKER_00]: Like, there's, the entire or climb is in of itself incredible.
[SPEAKER_00]: And we're gonna spend a bunch of time on that.
[SPEAKER_00]: So with that, please show us next week for more or coverage unless you don't like or coverage in which case that's your problem.
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm counting this.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I'm John Barside.
[SPEAKER_00]: This is Brad Chester.
[SPEAKER_00]: This guy.
[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you and we'll see you next week.
