Speaker 3: Yes, all I can tell you is it's baseball, and things can turn in a hurry. I mean, they went up to New York and looked like crap for three days, and they came back and you know, for months played great baseball. I remember covering the Yankees in nineteen ninety six and they were outscored like nineteen to two in the first two games of the World Series against the Braves and then one four straight. So you can go hot, you can go cold. I know it's hard to convince it's gonna be different because it looked a lot similar to what it looked like last year in Game one. Just game one looked a lot like last year's Game one against the Mets. Convince you it can change. You got Blake Snell going. He gets a lot of wing and miss and he generates a lot of chase. Not a good equation for this lineup. So it's but it's still baseball. Things things can change in the herd. You have world class players in this lineup, Bryce Harper, Trey Turner, Kyle Schwarber. I mean they can get hot, so I know if things feel a little bleak, But I would say it's just one game and I might have a better answer for you after Game two.

I know they did not look great in spots. Yesterday, the offense had three hits after the second inning. You know, the bullpen fell apart there in the sixth and the seventh innings. But they are a good team, so to say like it's absolutely not going to happen, you know, I can't say that. I don't think anybody can say that.

So things can turn on and upward trajectory, like I said, like Rubin said, it's hard it's hard to believe it will when you see something as troubling is game one, but you never know game two is going to tell us an awful, awful lot.

Some of the national writers were like, you know, I'm booking my hotel reservations for the World Series because I'm definitely coming back. And they're like, you know, maybe I can sneak home for a few days because they're gonna sweep the Diamondbacks. That's how bad they were. Yeah, And then the Diamondbacks got to turn around, and did they were?

Thirty one thousand tickets sold ten piece. All proceeds went to Phillies charities. Phillies did a great job with that, and it just kind of shows you, you know, I heard for some people outside of Philly, because everybody in Philly knows it kind of almost wasn't even necessarily surprising. It was just like, wow, they did sell thirty one thousand, but it wasn't a stunner. People outside of Philly were like, that is friggin unbelievable, Like that is crazy that that many people showed up for a seven inning inner Squad game. But if you live here, you're not super surprised because you know how much people love the Phillies. You know how diehard Philly fans are in general, And it was just a great show of support, supported a great cause, supported a lot of charities. You know, they give grants out every year, Ruben, you went to those the Phillies Charity Dinner every December at Citizen Bank Park where they give out grants and whatnot, and so just.

He's expected to get further treatment on He got further treatment on Sunday, afternoon. Not sure if he will be available for game two on Monday night, but he is in play for game two on Monday night. We'll see a little bit a little bit later today Monday. But I mean, based off of the fact that he left in the seventh inning of a of a playoff game, I would have bet my house he would not play in game two. I was just wonder a couple more of these because they're all kind of the same vein. Why didn't Thompson have Strom start a clean inning. He's not the bets with the inherited runners.
