Episode 97 - World Eaters pt 1
On today’s cast we begin our coverage of the World Eaters. We open up with the creation of the 12th legion and their role as the emperor’s dogs of war. From there we flip over to Angron, his discovery on Nuceria, and the nightmare of his upbringing there. We then follow his rise through the gladiatorial pits and the subsequent implantation of the Butcher’s nails in his skull. We then cover the emperor coming to Nuceria and effectively kidnapping Angron. After that we flip over to Kharne and his early rise through the legion. We then close out with the first implantation of butcher’s nails into the World Eaters and the legion’s descent on the road to Khorne.

[SPEAKER_00]: Welcome to the Forty K-Lorecast. [SPEAKER_00]: Welcome to Forty Kaylor Castle with me, John Barsati and Brad Chester on today's cast, the second time in thirty minutes. [SPEAKER_00]: Sorry, guys. [SPEAKER_00]: Perfect, the record button again. [SPEAKER_01]: Hopefully we might be even more exciting at question mark. [SPEAKER_00]: It's usually better this second time around. [SPEAKER_00]: So if it kind of dies the thirty minute mark, it's because that was all the repeat stuff that we had to go start fresh. [SPEAKER_00]: But today, we're diving into one of the most tragic of all the trader legions, the world leaders. [SPEAKER_01]: Wait a minute. [SPEAKER_01]: My, what was Brad's first army ever put on the board in. [SPEAKER_01]: And I've got some opinions on them. [SPEAKER_01]: One, John and I are going to have some differing views on the world leaders, especially some of their main characters. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: He had a cable, the Legion, maybe. [SPEAKER_01]: He had a good starting with their card. [SPEAKER_00]: They were never good. [SPEAKER_00]: No, they were all in. [SPEAKER_00]: No. [SPEAKER_00]: His Gen C sucks. [SPEAKER_00]: We're doing this. [SPEAKER_00]: We're getting a little bit, but I just, I think, Angron, we're gonna spend a lot of time on Angron today. [SPEAKER_00]: I have a lot of opinions on Angron. [SPEAKER_00]: But, you know, the Gen C, you're like, the milk is going bad. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yes. [SPEAKER_00]: We put his Gen C in people. [SPEAKER_00]: What happened? [SPEAKER_00]: They became frothing murderers. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, well, I don't think they got it. [SPEAKER_01]: Did they become, or we'll talk about where they got them at first? [SPEAKER_00]: We will, fair enough. [SPEAKER_00]: But I just might point out like, Angron's first move was a murder of bunch of, it was Algarb, but still. [SPEAKER_00]: We'll get into that. [SPEAKER_00]: All right. [SPEAKER_00]: So guys, a lot of like, hey, here's what's coming today. [SPEAKER_00]: So before we begin as always, Forty K. Laura cast is a weekly show in the lower of the Warhammer Forty K universe, releasing every Monday at seven p.m. [SPEAKER_00]: Eastern Standard Time. [SPEAKER_00]: Please tune to follow the cast and comment on it. [SPEAKER_00]: It does help our algorithm a lot as pushed us out. [SPEAKER_00]: We're currently the number one cast on Warhammer actually globally overall. [SPEAKER_00]: And that's not. [SPEAKER_00]: I love to think a lot of credit for it, but it's because you guys are commenting and liking on it and Spotify and iTunes keeps saying, yeah, I'll keep pushing this thing. [SPEAKER_00]: Additionally, if you like the cast, want to hear more about it. [SPEAKER_00]: We now have a YouTube page. [SPEAKER_00]: You can find a link in the notes to it. [SPEAKER_00]: It's called the Forty K-Lorecast. [SPEAKER_00]: There, you're going to find old versions of the cast that have been converted to with imagery and subtitle. [SPEAKER_00]: So you can see what it was. [SPEAKER_00]: We were saying we were mumbling it to the microphone. [SPEAKER_01]: Sometimes, even the AI does know we're saying a lot. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, no, I manually do it all. [SPEAKER_00]: I have to go back to listen to them and type in the subtitles. [SPEAKER_00]: It's a lot of fun being like, what the hell were we saying there? [SPEAKER_00]: And I have to listen two or three times go. [SPEAKER_00]: That's what that word was. [SPEAKER_00]: But there's also our live, the Q&A sessions are in there. [SPEAKER_00]: Our show now, the history of Forty K is over there, which you guys have been getting links to on this. [SPEAKER_00]: And also, Brad's newest show coming out to Old Man in their handler, which will be a more of a competitive focused show on the whammy forty-care universe. [SPEAKER_00]: Additionally, in our show notes, it's linked to our Patreon. [SPEAKER_00]: Massive, thank you to everyone who's contributed to the Patreon in the last couple of years. [SPEAKER_00]: It really has broadness out massively. [SPEAKER_00]: That YouTube channel would not exist. [SPEAKER_00]: The microphones were recording you on today. [SPEAKER_00]: All of the stuff that we're doing, it's thanks to Patreon. [SPEAKER_00]: And we've changed it up a little bit now. [SPEAKER_00]: So now for four dollars and nine to nine cents, you can get the show ad free. [SPEAKER_00]: So you'd like to listen to the ads. [SPEAKER_00]: Or if you're in the Cayman Islands, because you're afraid of taxes, it's only four dollars and sixteen Cayman Island dollars. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: I know you're there on vacation. [SPEAKER_00]: Whatever reason you want to call it, but I think we know why you're in the Cayman Islands and wanting to pay your Patreon and Cayman Island dollars. [SPEAKER_00]: Do you, man? [SPEAKER_00]: Lastly, we do have a discord as you are all well aware, over nine thousand people in it at time of recording, which probably could be even more of a time of listening. [SPEAKER_00]: It's a wonderful place. [SPEAKER_00]: I cannot encourage you guys to come in there anymore. [SPEAKER_00]: We don't charge for it. [SPEAKER_00]: We make no money off of it too. [SPEAKER_00]: I just like having a place that's great for people to come into, learn about Warhammer, interact with people around Warhammer, [SPEAKER_00]: It's just, that's something that just gives me a lot of joy as a parent, candidly, that having a place that might, that might, my kids too don't do it now, but it could go to and learn about Warhammer, not just get flamed for asking a dumb question. [SPEAKER_00]: Big thank you to the moderator's there, Doc Snazke, Thulu, Salarsia, Steve, Maestro, Query, Nugos, Gersbeck, Iron, Megos, and Curl. [SPEAKER_00]: You guys are doing an incredible job of keeping it organized, keeping it easy to follow, and also I think a big benefit is bot-free. [SPEAKER_00]: One big thing that involves it, because you don't know with Discord's, when you hit nine thousand people, it's nine thousand actual people, not five hundred people in eight, five hundred bots. [SPEAKER_00]: But with that, let's get into the Twelfth Legion again. [SPEAKER_00]: The world leaders originally knows the Twelfth Legion. [SPEAKER_00]: What makes them different from their other legions though, and even their trader brethren, is that much of their history is redacted from imperial records. [SPEAKER_00]: not because they turn trader, because they don't have this for any other legions, like deathguard, thousand sons, it's not redacted. [SPEAKER_00]: These guys got redacted before they went trader, because they were that messed up of a legion. [SPEAKER_01]: Quit killing everyone. [SPEAKER_01]: We invaded the fortress, you're like, and I'm not in the hospital killing people. [SPEAKER_01]: Why are you there? [SPEAKER_01]: Stop, stop, stop, stop. [SPEAKER_01]: Okay, we can't let anybody know the better. [SPEAKER_00]: I think you can only follow down a few times. [SPEAKER_00]: Why is it every single building? [SPEAKER_00]: In every settlement in the world, you're used red paint all over the walls. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, God, that's not red paint. [SPEAKER_00]: So, twelve Legion formed during the unification wars like any other Legion. [SPEAKER_00]: However, they solve very little combat during this time. [SPEAKER_00]: At least according to Imperial Records. [SPEAKER_00]: What's more interesting about this time for them is how they were formed. [SPEAKER_00]: So as the emperor is conquering the techno barbarian tribes, he's assimilating them into his own forces. [SPEAKER_00]: And part of the simulation for whatever reason was a psychometric test, which implies that the emperor has an HR department. [SPEAKER_00]: which I now need to do a cast on. [SPEAKER_00]: I want to do a bunch of time on the Amper's HR department. [SPEAKER_01]: Who's the charge of the EPR's HR department, Macador, Valdoor, and the EPR? [SPEAKER_00]: It's worth it. [SPEAKER_00]: No, it's not who's like, that's who the HR department has to report to. [SPEAKER_00]: So people complain into the HR department and then the complain that HR has to go meet with Macador or Valdoor about something like, I don't know, [SPEAKER_00]: my boss is hammering nails into my skull. [SPEAKER_00]: And Nalkador and then look at Malkador and Valdors saying, what should I do about that? [SPEAKER_00]: And I'm assuming their response is going to be murder the person complaining. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: And again, we have to look at, okay, ready? [SPEAKER_01]: We're going to take these. [SPEAKER_01]: groups and separate them by their scores. [SPEAKER_01]: So you've got, hey, these guys are really good from the, we're going to go into where they came from. [SPEAKER_01]: The nobility for empress children, you know, iron hands were durable, technical waste guys, period of fist, were from the major cities, basically those legions that can operate. [SPEAKER_01]: One of the things that they're pure fisting really well, we talked about it was [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, operate inside cities and civilization and not screw everything up. [SPEAKER_01]: Or you have the other pile of, hey, are you wildly unstable in light killing people? [SPEAKER_01]: And that was a pile that you think would be like, we're not going to use these people. [SPEAKER_01]: And then you went, nah, we're going to make an entire legion out of these people. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I'm gonna reference a very good movie, young Frankenstein, when Igor is looking for the brains and it's abnormal, do not use, because Abby normal. [SPEAKER_00]: That's what there's a whole pile of, yeah, these people are just horrifying and all they wanna do is murder and kill. [SPEAKER_00]: Okay, cool, they're gonna go over to Section Four and we're gonna make a legion out of them. [SPEAKER_00]: What's interesting is to Brad's points, every other legion will not every, but a bunch of legions were at least, there was some ethnic grouping around them. [SPEAKER_00]: either they were nobility, they came from this certain sector, whatever was. [SPEAKER_00]: The rule leaders came from everywhere, and it was like, yeah, this person just likes murder, but also more importantly, doesn't do subtle murder. [SPEAKER_00]: Because we have a different group for subtle murder. [SPEAKER_00]: If you're more like, I'm really going to hiding in a doorway, jump down and get in somebody. [SPEAKER_00]: I got you the agent for that. [SPEAKER_00]: I need the person who runs straight at them with a sharp stick and goes, I'm going to poke everyone's eye out. [SPEAKER_01]: I would go farther than that though, because you can get the person that runs straight at them, heroically in combat. [SPEAKER_01]: These were, I will kill everyone around me in combat. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that's true. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm also, yeah, I'm actually, they're going to run over them to stab with a stick. [SPEAKER_00]: Then I'm going to take his body and stab other people with his body. [SPEAKER_00]: It's, they're a little bit loopy. [SPEAKER_01]: They had some problems. [SPEAKER_01]: Again, oh, no, they turned to chaos. [SPEAKER_01]: I can't believe it. [SPEAKER_01]: What? [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, they started in chaos. [SPEAKER_00]: The only story that's not redacted from this era is the deployment against the group of people called the South Africa. [SPEAKER_00]: Or is it again John? [SPEAKER_00]: South, South, South, South, South, South, South, South, South, South, South, South, South, South, South, South, South, South, South, South, South, South, South, South, South, South, South, South, South, South, South, South, South, South, South, South, South, South, South, South, South, South, South, South, South, South, South, South, South, South, South, South, South, South, South, South, South, South, South, South, South, South, South, South, South, South, South, South, South, South, South, South, South, South, South, South, South, South, South, South, South, South, South, South, South, South, South, South, South, South, South, South, South, South, South, South, South [SPEAKER_00]: There's no details about the engagement or any of all that is known is that the twelfth legion was made as a spearhead for the assault. [SPEAKER_00]: They pierce the enemy fortification and killed everyone there. [SPEAKER_00]: Not, no, they don't say the defenders. [SPEAKER_00]: It's quite likely they slaughtered the entire population once they got in there. [SPEAKER_00]: And I bring that up, I say that, it just goes, because they didn't see any more action. [SPEAKER_00]: Not only did they not see any more action in the unification wars, right after the unification wars, the emperor goes to conquer soul. [SPEAKER_00]: He sends every legion out to different parts of soul to bring, tie their conquer or bring something, or convince someone to be on their side. [SPEAKER_00]: Nope, the twelve legion did not get sent anywhere. [SPEAKER_01]: They were sensitivity training at home. [SPEAKER_00]: Yes. [SPEAKER_00]: which by the way, I don't know what sensitive video they were sent. [SPEAKER_00]: It was the wrong one. [SPEAKER_01]: They got worse, like wildly worse. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: They were going to send him, hey, here's a sensitivity training. [SPEAKER_00]: It's something that sent them like blood support. [SPEAKER_00]: They were like, ah, this is awesome. [SPEAKER_00]: We can do this, which is basically what they did do by the way during this entire period of time. [SPEAKER_00]: The twelfth Legion sat in their ships and trained and trained and [SPEAKER_00]: They did train on here's how you do siege warfare. [SPEAKER_00]: Here's how you do these things and I think every one of those every time that they brought up the here's how you use a tank you hurt an entire chorus of boo. [SPEAKER_01]: I feel the schedule was morning is everything else and afternoon and evening is punchy punchy time because they were focused on melee combat. [SPEAKER_00]: That's really all they wanted to do eventually though they do start getting deployed. [SPEAKER_00]: and the emperor discovers pretty quickly, he's created a monstrosity, not an abomination, because then abominations of failure, a monstrosity. [SPEAKER_00]: This is a monster that when he unleashes it, does horrible horrible things, and he was overjoyed with this. [SPEAKER_00]: To the point where he actually, well, he named them, sorry. [SPEAKER_01]: It's just, yeah, but it's just, it kind of is because the emperor [SPEAKER_01]: It is such a dish sometimes because their whole existence right now is to put other people in line, not the place they're on. [SPEAKER_01]: But to actually, oh, you know, you want to know what'll happen if we show up? [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, the emperor starts using the twelfth legion attack dog. [SPEAKER_00]: It's on the leash barking and snarling as a threat of, if I let go of this leash, you're not going to like what happens next. [SPEAKER_00]: And the irony is that usually we talk about a dog and a leash barking and snarling. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, well, it's barks worse than it's bite. [SPEAKER_00]: The best part of the twelfth legion was the bark. [SPEAKER_00]: That was the gentle tickle compared to what would happen if they were released. [SPEAKER_00]: But there was a problem with that. [SPEAKER_00]: And the problem is that when released, they would overkill. [SPEAKER_00]: So they actually did a second founding. [SPEAKER_00]: And the section might be where Gillib and God has original idea from, where they broke the legion up, down to less than ten thousand per, they didn't call them chapters, but I'm going to call them chapters going to make my life easier of twelve Legion. [SPEAKER_00]: But they were then done was they were then spread across and they were used in conjunction with the other legions. [SPEAKER_00]: Again, you couldn't deploy the world leaders with anyone else as a full agent because they're just going to kill everything. [SPEAKER_00]: There's only a purpose of this. [SPEAKER_00]: But what they would do is he'd send them out with thousands of sons and periodists, ultra marines and just say, look, if you guys are there into a problem or there's a defender who just a little bit too dug in, cool, fire some of these drop pods down there, they'll dig them out. [SPEAKER_00]: And actually, that's a good thing we should probably spend some time on is how the emperor's legions were set up, because the twelve legions really were quite unique. [SPEAKER_00]: You know, the majority of the twenty legions fell into what I would call traditional warfare, which is siege warfare, fortification warfare, lightning strikes, armor, assaults. [SPEAKER_00]: That's what, I mean, there's actually going to an overlap in most legions for that. [SPEAKER_00]: There's a few extras between the raven guard, knight, lords, and alpha legion that are what I would call psychological warfare. [SPEAKER_00]: The Alpha Legion are masters of infiltrating and actually causing rebellion. [SPEAKER_00]: So if you're a, for example, let's say you're running a system or even a planet. [SPEAKER_00]: And the emperor comes and says, you know, what would the emperor, but someone comes and says, we want you to join the Imperium. [SPEAKER_00]: Your citizen might be on team. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I'd be cool to join them, but you're on team. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't want to go broke. [SPEAKER_00]: So I'm going to say no. [SPEAKER_00]: All of a sudden, some of your best friends end up murdered in the night, and you realize, oh, I should probably say yes. [SPEAKER_00]: That's Alpha Legion. [SPEAKER_00]: You know, the next one is Raven Guard, who are more designed to make you realize your military is ineffective, because what they would do is add a no or they just lightning strike your military and your military will have sensors. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I love the Ravenguard for this though because they wouldn't crush their military. [SPEAKER_01]: They would just lightning strike them and take off. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, the Ravenguard suffered until they suffered all very few casualties in their engagements because a lot of times they wanted that military to be there after they were conquered because that became the planetary defense force and it helped out. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I mean, I think if you guys know like I kick box for a while, I think of the Raven guys having this really a fast nasty jab, but just that you just throw out to say, hey, by the way, this is how hard I could hit you if I wanted to. [SPEAKER_00]: Maybe you don't try to fight us because you're going to lose terribly. [SPEAKER_00]: And what happens, the military would go to the plant earlier and say, yeah, yeah, we're done, guys. [SPEAKER_00]: Let's go join this in pairing. [SPEAKER_00]: the last two months it's on time on. [SPEAKER_00]: The difference between them and the twelve legion is the night lords and then we're going to get to the dark angels in a second. [SPEAKER_01]: These guys are so much different because I think a lot of people think that just because they are a tarot, both of them could be considered tarot troops, but they don't work the same way. [SPEAKER_01]: It's not even close. [SPEAKER_00]: No, the nightlers do is again, dogs would deploy to a planet where you'd conquered part of it, or maybe a system where you've conquered one planet, and they would do horrible things there. [SPEAKER_00]: They are gonna play people alive. [SPEAKER_00]: They are going to do terrifying things there. [SPEAKER_00]: But the purpose of the nightlords was to sit there and say to the populace, [SPEAKER_00]: you don't want to resist me. [SPEAKER_00]: If you resist me, when I get there, I conquer you, I will do this. [SPEAKER_01]: They're trying to pacify the populace. [SPEAKER_01]: Exactly. [SPEAKER_01]: Why that has wildly different than the twelfth Legion is because they weren't there to pacify anybody. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: There is no populist. [SPEAKER_00]: That's the difference. [SPEAKER_00]: The nightlords are trying to pacify the remaining populist. [SPEAKER_00]: The twelfth Legion, there is no populist. [SPEAKER_00]: The twelfth Legion, when they were deployed, they were deployed in an exterminate style. [SPEAKER_00]: They are going to wipe out everyone, everything. [SPEAKER_00]: Every being dies, almost all your buildings are going to be destroyed. [SPEAKER_00]: That is what they did when they went somewhere. [SPEAKER_00]: because the idea of the Twelve Legion is that they were being, they would use them to make an example of what resistance to the Imperium is. [SPEAKER_00]: And the difference between that and the dark angels, the first legion we've carved before, is significant. [SPEAKER_00]: Both the first legion and the twelfth legion were used to exterminate a supply. [SPEAKER_00]: They would both leave nothing left. [SPEAKER_00]: But the first legion did it in the secret. [SPEAKER_00]: The first legion would go out and they would go, the emperor would be the emperor, maybe Malkador would send them somewhere where there's a zino, so they don't want anyone knowing about possibly chaos taint. [SPEAKER_00]: And they would be something there and they would wipe it completely. [SPEAKER_00]: And later, some settlers would arrive on a planet and go, wow, this place is really nice. [SPEAKER_00]: Why has no one settled it before? [SPEAKER_00]: And everyone go, no idea. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, these should exactly the opposite. [SPEAKER_00]: You want everybody to know. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, the cloth legion you would arrive on the planet and there'd be a giant pile of skulls and bodies from the prior inhabitants to make sure everyone understands, yeah, when we say comply, we mean comply. [SPEAKER_00]: And they embrace this pretty hard, by the way, as a Legion. [SPEAKER_00]: They take a lot of pride and not just conquering their foes, but doing it no way that it still's fear, not just in other planets, but even other legions, didn't like being around them. [SPEAKER_00]: Lord knows the guard and the imperial military as it didn't want anything to do with the Twelfth Legion. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, because you can't find anywhere near home, you're gonna get killed. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: And where the Emperor starts using the Twelve Legion for is two areas. [SPEAKER_00]: First is people who are resisting too hard, the compliance where you go to the system and they say, yeah, I'm not joining you. [SPEAKER_00]: And the Twelve Legion would just attack one planet. [SPEAKER_00]: And whoever's running the system would get to see, oh, they just slaughtered every single being on that. [SPEAKER_00]: Maybe we should take the Emperor's offer up. [SPEAKER_00]: Take a second shot. [SPEAKER_00]: But the bigger one they were used for was actually imperial compliance. [SPEAKER_00]: because you show up with your space-moving legions and say to a system, you're gonna be part of the imperial now or else. [SPEAKER_00]: A lot of them will say, yeah, yeah, sure. [SPEAKER_00]: They join, and then when all that military leaves, they're like, yeah, we're not paying that tax. [SPEAKER_00]: That's not happening, right? [SPEAKER_01]: However, the imperial tie, there's a real, you can do a lot of things. [SPEAKER_01]: If you are a governor, a planetary or system governor, and the thing that you can't do is not pay your tithe. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: And what would happen is if he didn't pay the tide, it's quite possible a bunch of twelve fleas and ships would appear in orbit. [SPEAKER_00]: And as a member of the Imperian, you know what that means. [SPEAKER_00]: And you've got a minute to decide, I think I should start paying the tax. [SPEAKER_00]: I should pay all the back taxes and any penalties therein. [SPEAKER_00]: Because [SPEAKER_00]: Nope, because otherwise they could deploy and new settlers will arrive on the planet. [SPEAKER_00]: Hopefully carrying a whole lot of club soda because there's going to be some stains in the furniture. [SPEAKER_00]: This is so hard to get out. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's like just really scrubbing like can we just can you guys print me a new one? [SPEAKER_00]: These are an STC for leather couch. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm just throwing it out there because this thing's wrecked. [SPEAKER_01]: But luckily, they're about to meet their primar. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, things are going to get so much better, right? [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, God. [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, it is funny because most of the legions when you hear about, they were lost and then they found the primar, okay, re-centered them. [SPEAKER_00]: The other way, that includes ones who went to Trader. [SPEAKER_00]: Not these ones. [SPEAKER_00]: These ones actually were doing the twelve legions was doing great and then Angron came in and they just kept doing it. [SPEAKER_00]: It just was like, yeah, we're going to do the exact same thing. [SPEAKER_00]: But let's talk about Angron. [SPEAKER_00]: And Grun's tricky. [SPEAKER_00]: Quick recap everybody, and Grun for those. [SPEAKER_00]: If this is your first time listening to us and bringing this stuff, every primarque was created by the emperor using a combination of his genetic material, tearing genetic material, and a whole lot of workpower. [SPEAKER_00]: Really, it was just a sausage. [SPEAKER_00]: It's a warp sausage. [SPEAKER_00]: It's a bunch of warp wrapped up in a human. [SPEAKER_00]: That's how I like to look at the primarques. [SPEAKER_00]: And we'll get to there shortly, but the creation of angry Grun is a bit more complicated because hard to discern what the emperor was trying to create there. [SPEAKER_01]: He's an empath. [SPEAKER_01]: He was legitimately an empath. [SPEAKER_01]: This is super power. [SPEAKER_01]: Every primer has a their signature superpower. [SPEAKER_01]: A grads before all the stuff happens to him was he's an empath. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, my theory on that. [SPEAKER_00]: We'll get there soon. [SPEAKER_00]: My theory in this, we'll get there in three minutes. [SPEAKER_00]: So all the primarks got teleported out of their gestation pods to random plants throughout the galaxy. [SPEAKER_00]: And each of the planet was meant to tempt the primarkin to falling a chaos. [SPEAKER_00]: by placing them in a setting that would encourage rebellion against the emperor, if they're by embracing the dark powers. [SPEAKER_00]: It was stars. [SPEAKER_00]: And it just has a ripple star wars. [SPEAKER_00]: They went all the primarks to turn on the imperial senate that could save Padme. [SPEAKER_00]: That was basically how this was written. [SPEAKER_00]: Some of the planets were a bit more subtle, like Ultramar was an interesting one to me, because Ultramar was actually meant to tempt Gilliman. [SPEAKER_00]: into being the facets of leadership, because he could see himself as the greatest leader in the entire galaxy, which the hope is that he would look at the emperor as a less capable leader and would therefore overthrow him. [SPEAKER_01]: And that didn't work at all. [SPEAKER_00]: No, but it's better. [SPEAKER_00]: It's a shot, but where his more tearing was on New Seria, where it was like, again, hey, everyone who's in charge and is a siker is a horrible person. [SPEAKER_00]: You should murder them all. [SPEAKER_00]: Do you've had lower guards probably the most subtle? [SPEAKER_00]: Because lower guard would just put somewhere where he would naturally learn about chaos. [SPEAKER_01]: That's not all. [SPEAKER_01]: They worshiped the gods of chaos on his planet. [SPEAKER_00]: It was a more assaulting of like when the emperor comes, he's actually know about the greatest secret that you have. [SPEAKER_00]: But it wasn't like they were trying to make him overthrow the emperor, probably because he was too weak to do it. [SPEAKER_00]: But all that being said, Newsyria was not subtle. [SPEAKER_00]: Okay, so Newsyria is a true world of nightmares. [SPEAKER_00]: This is as bad as it can be without having demons, or dark-held are running around, although I have a theory on that second part. [SPEAKER_00]: Is so bad that after the Emperor found Angron, he had its location and name purged from period records. [SPEAKER_00]: It's entirely possible that Newsyria never existed. [SPEAKER_00]: In fact, this kind of becomes a fun question of if [SPEAKER_00]: What is the real story here? [SPEAKER_00]: Because it could be a fan, this is more a fan fiction thing, but was anger on actually born on Terra? [SPEAKER_00]: Did all of this stuff happen in like a dark room? [SPEAKER_00]: And it's always a volcano. [SPEAKER_00]: This is a freaking GW. [SPEAKER_01]: Dr. Evil? [SPEAKER_00]: But yes, is that piece of, did New Syria actually exist? [SPEAKER_00]: I know, yeah, later they go there, but do they? [SPEAKER_00]: This becomes it because, but let's go with what New Syria's supposed to be. [SPEAKER_00]: It's supposed to be a technologically advanced world. [SPEAKER_00]: where all the power and wealth are concentrated within a wealthy set of oligarchs. [SPEAKER_00]: And they, the rest of the population is just an abject poverty. [SPEAKER_00]: And they were ruled with just extreme force, brutalizing. [SPEAKER_00]: Right. [SPEAKER_00]: I was saying, we were to lies a year. [SPEAKER_01]: Extreme force is one thing. [SPEAKER_01]: They were doing it as sport though, because they had full, they didn't treat anybody besides the oligarchs. [SPEAKER_01]: They just treated everybody else as nothing play things. [SPEAKER_00]: whatever, or workers. [SPEAKER_00]: Because this isn't like barbarous, where the leaders are super-powered, psych or necromancers, who actually can just poop and roll over it. [SPEAKER_00]: These were actually humans. [SPEAKER_00]: This was a human colony. [SPEAKER_00]: And so what they had was, they had a military, and they were just massively oppressive down. [SPEAKER_00]: But what they did, they didn't quote, pacify the population, was they took a page out of ancient Rome, and actually, if I'm being honest, modern society, and they just added sports. [SPEAKER_00]: Lots and lots of sports, but the sports are just murder sport. [SPEAKER_00]: It was all glad to have a combat. [SPEAKER_00]: And I'll point out that if you actually read more, the more you read about news area, the more it sounds like Comer. [SPEAKER_00]: And there is a hell of it. [SPEAKER_00]: There is a hell of it. [SPEAKER_00]: There is a hell of it. [SPEAKER_00]: There is a hell of it. [SPEAKER_00]: There is a hell of it. [SPEAKER_00]: There is a hell of it. [SPEAKER_00]: There is a hell of it. [SPEAKER_00]: There is a hell of it. [SPEAKER_00]: There is a hell of it. [SPEAKER_00]: There is a hell of it. [SPEAKER_00]: There is a hell of it. [SPEAKER_00]: There is a hell of it. [SPEAKER_00]: There is a hell of it. [SPEAKER_01]: There is a hell of it. [SPEAKER_01]: There is a hell of it. [SPEAKER_01]: There is a hell of it. [SPEAKER_01]: There is a hell of it. [SPEAKER_01]: There is a hell of it. [SPEAKER_01]: There is a hell of it. [SPEAKER_01]: There is a hell of it [SPEAKER_01]: because this was supposed to be Biden's circumstances, ancient Rome. [SPEAKER_01]: They took care of the populist by just giving them these huge events. [SPEAKER_01]: Also, they were taking anybody that could possibly rise against them and making them gladiators. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: So, an ambulance, a small child lands on his random mountain on New Syria. [SPEAKER_00]: And there's a local slaver who's wandering him out of looking for people to abduct. [SPEAKER_00]: And he comes up on an ambulance. [SPEAKER_00]: But what he comes upon is not just a child. [SPEAKER_00]: It's a small child. [SPEAKER_00]: It's hard to figure out how big Angron was at this point. [SPEAKER_00]: Basically lying on conscious surrounded by a pool of blood of dead Zenos, which we learned later as a book called The Slav of New Seria, they were elder. [SPEAKER_00]: A bunch of elder, that the theory is that the elder knew what Angron could become and actually went to go murder it. [SPEAKER_00]: And then, yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: Brennan both love Eldard, but aspect warriors are no match for baby primary. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm just assuming they sent dire Avengers or something. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it just got you could have said anything. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm sorry if you're not going to. [SPEAKER_00]: You're not gonna, there are no aspect wars. [SPEAKER_00]: They're gonna take out a print mark. [SPEAKER_00]: In the game they were, it's easy. [SPEAKER_00]: I've done it numerous times. [SPEAKER_00]: On the table top, it's nothing. [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I say that people who are currently playing Warhammer with the Lion are like, I got wrecked last week. [SPEAKER_00]: He died in one turn. [SPEAKER_00]: What are you talking about? [SPEAKER_00]: But in the theory, [SPEAKER_01]: This is why this the origin of or anger on makes me super angry though because it he's this powerful primer. [SPEAKER_01]: He didn't as a child, but like random head the slaver was able to instantly incapacitate him. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and this is why I do have a theory. [SPEAKER_00]: I actually do think Newsyria is in [SPEAKER_00]: of the web way. [SPEAKER_00]: I think news area is pre, I guess they were dark elder at this point. [SPEAKER_00]: That's my weird and wrong. [SPEAKER_00]: Don't get me wrong. [SPEAKER_00]: I know I'm wrong about this, but the stories make a bit more sense that way. [SPEAKER_00]: If he's being captured not by a human slave or who just, oh yeah, I can, this guy just killed fifteen elder, but I'll just put a pair of handcuffs on him and carry him off somewhere. [SPEAKER_00]: No, or this is a monk who actually was able to knock him unconscious and then take him back to the fighting pits. [SPEAKER_00]: But to Brad's point, Angron has a special power, and it is his empathy, sort of. [SPEAKER_01]: You know what? [SPEAKER_01]: You will not pull on this. [SPEAKER_01]: And also, we're about to use a movie comparison, and you will not pull on the green wire either, because that movie is magical. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I went. [SPEAKER_00]: All right. [SPEAKER_00]: So, [SPEAKER_00]: Angron's powers is the power of out of the name of the character in the green mile. [SPEAKER_00]: I guess it's a good one in Oscar, so it's probably a good movie, but it's if you never see it, you'll be fine. [SPEAKER_00]: That's more than I'm getting. [SPEAKER_01]: You know what, we're going to get hate for that because you're putting it in great mood. [SPEAKER_00]: It's a good movie, but what I'm saying is not like you have to have seen it. [SPEAKER_00]: Like I am more upset if you haven't seen the movie airplane than if you haven't seen Greenmont. [SPEAKER_00]: That's all. [SPEAKER_00]: That's all I'm saying. [SPEAKER_00]: All right. [SPEAKER_00]: All right. [SPEAKER_00]: That's fair. [SPEAKER_00]: Like, I can't get a board with that. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, one of them sad. [SPEAKER_00]: No, it was not. [SPEAKER_00]: There is a bit really sad. [SPEAKER_00]: We'll be right back after a quick break. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but Angron's superpower is actually, he can literally, like, the mental transference take on other people's pain. [SPEAKER_00]: He's able to, the idea is that he can absorb from you. [SPEAKER_00]: He understands what's the worst thing for your worst feelings, your worst everything. [SPEAKER_00]: He takes them onto himself and loads them onto himself, which may have overloaded him later in life. [SPEAKER_00]: But that's his power. [SPEAKER_00]: His other superpower is, Angron can fight. [SPEAKER_00]: And that's probably his real like super power. [SPEAKER_00]: We talk about it, but no, Angron, Angron is because this is where my issue with is I tend to lean more to the second one there because he's supposed to be this like compassionate and loving leader, but the twelve flea gen are made from his genes. [SPEAKER_01]: I really do think that he was supposed to be the person that was diplomating it up. [SPEAKER_00]: If I put compassion into a crazy person, shouldn't it middle them out a little bit? [SPEAKER_00]: If it just feels like it feels like we should be like, you should be taking the... No, you're not sharpening it. [SPEAKER_00]: He understands what you're afraid of, it murders you with it. [SPEAKER_00]: It is, that's the, it becomes this weird little thing of GW. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know what GW's trying to do here, because if anger on supposed to be, this person who has got great empathy and great, all, understanding of the needs, desires and fears of those around him, [SPEAKER_00]: why is his legion this violent? [SPEAKER_01]: It goes into, well, the nails are going to be a real problem with that. [SPEAKER_00]: That's definitely a thing. [SPEAKER_00]: That's definitely a thing. [SPEAKER_00]: But let's go into angron, what converts angron over to being the worst thing ever. [SPEAKER_00]: So angron arrives in the main city of Newsyria, and they really throw them into the pit of fighters. [SPEAKER_00]: And what they do is he's a small child, and they give him a, I think they gave him a sword, I actually even know, and he's standing on a ziggurat, which Google it, and with a bunch of other combatants. [SPEAKER_00]: all of a sudden the ziggurat begins descending and as it descends there's a pool of acid all around it and so as the further it goes down the less space there is to stand therefore kill each other and a crying angron murders everyone and until he's the only one standing there like a couple years old at this point at this point [SPEAKER_00]: The rulers of New Sarah say, yep, we like this pit fighter and they name him. [SPEAKER_00]: This is where he gets his name, Angron. [SPEAKER_00]: Angron, Tharol, Falc, Creeper. [SPEAKER_00]: Falc, Creep. [SPEAKER_01]: Child of the Mountain. [SPEAKER_00]: God, so lame. [SPEAKER_00]: Cause they found him on a mountain. [SPEAKER_00]: So they named him, Child of the Mountain. [SPEAKER_00]: You know who else was thought of the mountain? [SPEAKER_00]: Most of the other people. [SPEAKER_00]: That's my point. [SPEAKER_00]: I just, this is lazy. [SPEAKER_00]: Like, I'm sorry, does Robotech guillotine mean child of logistics? [SPEAKER_00]: No, it does not. [SPEAKER_00]: Stock giving people terrible names. [SPEAKER_00]: But, and Grons' abilities of warrior, starting foster as he's growing. [SPEAKER_00]: He becomes the greatest gladiator in the history of New Syria. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, his story is Spartacus. [SPEAKER_01]: It's just good. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yes, that's what I'm gonna go to. [SPEAKER_00]: And when we find out, when I say greatest warrior, I mean, it's more, now like, full-groom, because full-groom was this really, like, artistic warrior who could, he just cut your throat at a distance and, and Perry blows. [SPEAKER_00]: And Grons, [SPEAKER_00]: beat his opponents to death. [SPEAKER_00]: They didn't matter what you handed him. [SPEAKER_00]: He would win it. [SPEAKER_00]: Effectively, GW watched the original Gladiator, which came out in the year two thousand for the record, which does not make me feel good about myself at how old I am. [SPEAKER_00]: Gladiator came out in two thousand. [SPEAKER_00]: A lot of the anger on books came out on two thousand three, did through thousand six. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm just saying, I think we know where the idea came. [SPEAKER_01]: It bugs me that he keeps escaping. [SPEAKER_01]: He's not allowed to continue to be free. [SPEAKER_01]: Like he gets caught and brought back. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, just how? [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, so this is, again, one of the areas of anger that's a little bit annoying. [SPEAKER_00]: So, anger on doesn't, he's a primarque. [SPEAKER_00]: He doesn't really want to be caged, and as we said before, this is a planet in theory of humans. [SPEAKER_00]: I still think it's the, it could be dark out there, but there you don't know how to cage a primarque. [SPEAKER_00]: So he keeps escaping and every time he escapes, they catch him, which no explanation of really how that's functionally possible, but he keeps getting back. [SPEAKER_00]: And the mistake that he realizes later is that he keeps doing it solo and we'll get to that in a bit. [SPEAKER_00]: At this moment though, Angron is starting to get on the nerves of the leaders of New Syria, because not only is he escaping a lot, but he's not that well-behaved when they put him inside the arena. [SPEAKER_00]: Again, reference the movie Gladiator. [SPEAKER_00]: Angron is putting it in glad it's real combat to kill people, but he keeps sparing them. [SPEAKER_00]: Not all of them, just the ones who fight really well. [SPEAKER_00]: He won't, he spares their lives. [SPEAKER_00]: Even when the leaders of New Syria don't want him to. [SPEAKER_00]: And he slowly, again, I'm gonna keep putting out gladiator, becomes more popular and more popular. [SPEAKER_00]: So the populist begins to love him. [SPEAKER_00]: And so now, the leaders of New Syria have a little bit of an issue. [SPEAKER_00]: Their best fighter pit guy [SPEAKER_00]: is getting pretty popular, and they need to bring him to heal. [SPEAKER_00]: And, ha, butchers nails. [SPEAKER_01]: Just say that the age of technology was a super cool time. [SPEAKER_01]: But stuff that came out of that wasn't super great. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, when we discussed it, the age of technology, we've almost in all of our cast discussed it more as a positive, incredible STCs, weaponry, technology, all this stuff, all things are meant to uplift mankind. [SPEAKER_00]: There was some other stuff though, and one of them was the Butchews Nails. [SPEAKER_00]: created for really unknown purpose, although some recent books have hinted at the real purpose of them, and very long lost technology. [SPEAKER_00]: These things are metal rods of sort with electromagnetic power. [SPEAKER_00]: They're implanted into your skull. [SPEAKER_00]: Once they're in there, they actually will blind you to compassion and your IV to violence because they do it as a couple of pieces. [SPEAKER_01]: One of the things is that they hurt you anytime you do anything, compassion. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it was for monstrous pain. [SPEAKER_00]: But it does it basically makes your body stop producing a serotonin. [SPEAKER_00]: The serotonin is the chemical that makes you feel good. [SPEAKER_00]: That's what, you know, you joy. [SPEAKER_00]: It all comes out of serotonin. [SPEAKER_00]: what it does is when you're adrenaline spikes, your body will make it. [SPEAKER_00]: So in effect, it does is unless you're really active and being aggressive and doing things, you are miserable, getting more miserable. [SPEAKER_00]: It also will shut off some of your pain receptors. [SPEAKER_00]: So it turns you into just naturally, it's more of a Pavlovian response. [SPEAKER_00]: It drives you into being this just murder creation, because the only way you will feel any joy [SPEAKER_00]: is through killing and through adrenaline. [SPEAKER_00]: And if you don't kill, you feel sadness. [SPEAKER_00]: But also as you're killing that adrenaline is rushing through your system, you're also not feeling pain. [SPEAKER_00]: And so it's not so much that it makes you a horrifying warrior. [SPEAKER_00]: It's just you don't have a choice but to be one. [SPEAKER_00]: And these things are, these are, this is nightmare technology, a simply put. [SPEAKER_00]: I still think, comma, this doesn't sound like a creation of humanity, this is a humongous creation. [SPEAKER_01]: I just want to say, this is a covenanting for sure. [SPEAKER_00]: This is, yeah, this is one hundred percent something the covenant would inject. [SPEAKER_00]: And I still, [SPEAKER_00]: What are you, maybe it's all just redacted history, and Angron was actually on. [SPEAKER_00]: Maybe he wasn't in the web way, perhaps it was just one of the worlds that had been settled by the Eldar, and it was outside of the web way, but this just has all the markings of Dark Eldar all over it. [SPEAKER_00]: This level of manipulation, it's just, and it, the fighting pits, just pointing it out. [SPEAKER_01]: So do we want to go into your least favorite parts of all of the primar stories? [SPEAKER_00]: What? [SPEAKER_01]: His mentor. [SPEAKER_01]: His father figure. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, there's every time. [SPEAKER_01]: Your favorite. [SPEAKER_00]: Every time they have the primar. [SPEAKER_00]: And here's my mentor. [SPEAKER_00]: So fine. [SPEAKER_00]: Angron has the because of course. [SPEAKER_00]: There's some older pit fighter named Ona Mayus by the past tense. [SPEAKER_00]: who grew up in the pits and spent all his days fighting in the pits. [SPEAKER_00]: And he really had a taking to Angron and wanted to make him and made him into a better warrior. [SPEAKER_00]: And they were of course best friends. [SPEAKER_00]: And as best buddies, they would slaughter anyone and everyone in the pit together. [SPEAKER_00]: Anyway, this is just lazy writing. [SPEAKER_00]: That's why I can upset about this one. [SPEAKER_00]: At one point, Angron is in the pit, fight next to his body on a Mayus, and they actually were fighting to Ogrin, who'd had butcher's nails put in them. [SPEAKER_00]: At the end of the fight, they're victorious, and the rulers of their area in an effort to bring Angron to heal, tell Angron he now has to fight on a Mayus and to kill him. [SPEAKER_00]: to which Angron gives them the old stone cold Steve Austin salute and walks away. [SPEAKER_00]: That was enough. [SPEAKER_00]: The new serians were like, that's it. [SPEAKER_00]: We're done with this. [SPEAKER_00]: We're going to now put the butcher's nails in. [SPEAKER_00]: And the reason they hadn't done this before is anger on was a really good warrior. [SPEAKER_00]: And when you put butcher's nails in someone, yes, they can still fight, but they become a little less capable. [SPEAKER_01]: That's what we'll eventually die from. [SPEAKER_00]: Yes. [SPEAKER_00]: And so they didn't want to do it, but they did it. [SPEAKER_00]: And so they shoved the butcher's nails in there. [SPEAKER_00]: effectively he wakes up and he wakes up and on a Mayus is the only thing in the room with him at which point he actually tears on a Mayus apart with his bare hands. [SPEAKER_00]: After this, like moment, the clarity kicks in, he sees what he's done. [SPEAKER_00]: And Angron realizes that he has to leave. [SPEAKER_01]: This is, he focuses his rage on the rulers. [SPEAKER_00]: We're getting out of here. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: And he does, this is where we, now we're going to start ripping, instead of ripping off Gladiator, now we're going to rip off Spartacus because, you know, IP violations are fun. [SPEAKER_00]: And Angron leads a full rebellion of the fighters with a new area. [SPEAKER_00]: into a, and they break out from the bottom, which probably wasn't that hard. [SPEAKER_00]: If you're talking it basically, so all the best fighters in the entire city are concentrated in this one place. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: What's surrounding them? [SPEAKER_00]: Very squishy citizens. [SPEAKER_00]: And so they do so they break out and it's like they correspond by the way, do slaughter the entire populist between them, right? [SPEAKER_00]: Which is, but like when we, that's why we talk about, oh, Angra had a lot of compassion. [SPEAKER_00]: When his fighters broke out, they murdered Ted Eric and Sarah on their way up the door. [SPEAKER_01]: He's got butchers nails in by this point. [SPEAKER_01]: Yes, but I'm saying he did, but one of the big things about this is [SPEAKER_01]: They're dominating and they could have got the hell out of there and instead they just go into the mountains and chill. [SPEAKER_01]: Why? [SPEAKER_01]: Just like they know exactly where they are. [SPEAKER_01]: This is a terrible plan. [SPEAKER_00]: It's a weird thing because you exactly. [SPEAKER_00]: The rulers of New Seria don't anchoring these guys. [SPEAKER_00]: They slaughter their way out and the rules of the desert step back. [SPEAKER_00]: And they watch and anger on, they all go up to the hills. [SPEAKER_00]: And they just go, all right, we'll just do a war of attrition here. [SPEAKER_00]: And they keep sending warriors and fighters after them. [SPEAKER_00]: And over time, just to whittle them down. [SPEAKER_00]: And it's within a couple years. [SPEAKER_00]: And Grants forces have gone from close to two thousand that he escaped with to less than one thousand. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but he's also in a very rock. [SPEAKER_01]: They don't have enough food. [SPEAKER_01]: This is just such a bad idea. [SPEAKER_00]: It's a terrible idea. [SPEAKER_00]: But this is where everything turns for the worst. [SPEAKER_00]: And what all turns for the worst is a fleet arrives in orbit that no one gets in a planet can say. [SPEAKER_00]: It's the emperor. [SPEAKER_00]: And the emperor was drawn there by runs psychic powers. [SPEAKER_00]: Like he can with all of his sons. [SPEAKER_00]: And he looks down at the situation. [SPEAKER_00]: And he's joyed to see that Angron stood up to tyranny and freed his brothers from slavery. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, there's a lot of irony in that statement by the way. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, wow. [SPEAKER_00]: So he and some custos teleport down to the surface of talk to him. [SPEAKER_00]: And he congratulates Angron always accomplished. [SPEAKER_00]: He informs in that he's now earned his place to lead one of the Emperor's legions. [SPEAKER_00]: And come with me, an Angron looks at him, looks at the custodian says, no. [SPEAKER_01]: He tells him that this is a place that's not going to be a bad idea. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's all I'm saying. [SPEAKER_01]: He's just a bad idea. [SPEAKER_01]: By the way, the Emperor could have solved this in one point eight seconds. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah, the Emperor, but I do want to put this a key thing about Angron's power. [SPEAKER_00]: The Emperor emanates like a energy. [SPEAKER_00]: When you meet the Emperor, it makes you want to please him. [SPEAKER_00]: It also makes you see him, however, whatever way is the most beneficial for him. [SPEAKER_00]: Angron looked at him and went, yeah, and I'm not doing any of that crap and walked away. [SPEAKER_00]: And that is a little bit, this should have been a nice warring sign to the emperor of maybe this guy has got some issues. [SPEAKER_00]: The emperor then and his custodes leave. [SPEAKER_00]: He gets back up on his ship and he looks down. [SPEAKER_00]: He realizes, Angron's about to die. [SPEAKER_00]: The new series. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, they brought everybody. [SPEAKER_01]: They brought the kitchen sink. [SPEAKER_01]: They surround his forces. [SPEAKER_01]: And yeah, the emperor could have went flick. [SPEAKER_01]: I conquered Naceria, but... Let's go through. [SPEAKER_00]: It's an emperor here is faced with three choices. [SPEAKER_00]: Choice one, abandon an agron to die, probably would have been the better choice. [SPEAKER_00]: Option two uses massively superior force to invade Naceria, kill all those leaders, uplift the population, and bring a world and clear of the blinds, or option C. Right. [SPEAKER_01]: Let's do with the end. [SPEAKER_01]: Probably get a wildly loyal now, angron. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yes. [SPEAKER_00]: One of your leaders of the Netherlands and an amazing recruiting world for space marines. [SPEAKER_00]: Yes. [SPEAKER_00]: Or in those options, see, dick move. [SPEAKER_00]: Wow. [SPEAKER_01]: Also, you can't believe that this guy wasn't super loyal to me after this. [SPEAKER_00]: And I want to point out, again, this planet was technologically advanced, but not that advanced. [SPEAKER_00]: And the emperor had custodes with him and himself. [SPEAKER_00]: He could have conquered this thing in like an hour and a half while talking on the phone. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I was going to say. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, while he's also ordering out, trying to figure out, you guys want to create barbecue, we're going to get it. [SPEAKER_00]: Just this would have been nothing thing. [SPEAKER_00]: Instead, he does. [SPEAKER_00]: Here's a good TV reference. [SPEAKER_00]: He quantum leaps and grunk. [SPEAKER_00]: Okay. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: As Angron and his forces are rushing down to engage with the new serians, the Emperor teleports him out into the hold of his own ship, Angron finally from that hold watches as all of his brethren get slaughtered. [SPEAKER_00]: Because without Angron there to lead them, it doesn't go well. [SPEAKER_00]: Angron then turns he's surrounded by custodes. [SPEAKER_00]: And it's not the custodians. [SPEAKER_00]: And he shits about that. [SPEAKER_00]: Kills a custod in this process. [SPEAKER_00]: But he was bare-handed. [SPEAKER_00]: The custod's head spears. [SPEAKER_00]: And he killed one with his bare hands. [SPEAKER_00]: At which point, the emperor just knocks him out. [SPEAKER_00]: Psychically, angry on awakens and start screaming at the emperor. [SPEAKER_00]: Why? [SPEAKER_00]: Why would you do this? [SPEAKER_00]: You could have saved all of us. [SPEAKER_00]: Why this? [SPEAKER_00]: And the emperor says, quote, [SPEAKER_00]: You're, you lack of vision. [SPEAKER_00]: Question. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's question. [SPEAKER_01]: I said, it tells him basically we're doing this is we're not about small squabbles in this and he's with time. [SPEAKER_01]: You will understand what I did. [SPEAKER_01]: By the way, it does not work out that way. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm pretty sure if you're going to anger on right now. [SPEAKER_01]: He's absolutely not. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: And Grond is furious. [SPEAKER_00]: And so they then the Emperor just kind of goes, yeah, yeah, angry guy, go over there and they send him over to the twelfth Legion and just shove him in the hole of one of their main ships. [SPEAKER_00]: Because he just visit those guys that will have to themselves. [SPEAKER_00]: And he sits there by himself. [SPEAKER_01]: But also the Emperor bells and tells the Legion, hey man, convince him to run the Legion. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: But you can't attack him. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: And so what happens next is they start saying captains down there to talk to him. [SPEAKER_00]: The first one is the one I feel the most bad for because he probably went out there with awesome. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to go tell this guy. [SPEAKER_00]: We have our prime mark now. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to explain to him how great we are. [SPEAKER_00]: We are this incredible Legion here. [SPEAKER_00]: The world's we've conquered. [SPEAKER_00]: He actually get through the age of hello before Angron pulled his arms off of that. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Thank you. [SPEAKER_01]: I just took you like the juggernaut on. [SPEAKER_00]: And it's the second guy goes in there. [SPEAKER_00]: And it's the same thing. [SPEAKER_00]: So they get through this eventually seven Legionnaires captains enter an anger on beats them all to death. [SPEAKER_00]: until the eighth one goes in. [SPEAKER_00]: And before we got into the eighth one, backstory time. [SPEAKER_00]: For those of you who are newer to the game, having a primarck be part of the table top was crazy. [SPEAKER_00]: It was two thousand seventeen when we got our first primarck. [SPEAKER_01]: We never thought we would get one on the table because they were so wildly OP. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yes, they did technically exist in second edition, but as if you let's know a history of Forty Kay, you'll realize the second edition's a little bit goofy and it went away pretty quick. [SPEAKER_00]: So for six editions, all of the major factions were led by a key like kind of I would call mortal character. [SPEAKER_00]: Typhus, Calgar, Arrimon, Avidon, Torgadon, all those types of people. [SPEAKER_00]: That's who would be the most powerful and most influential part of your region. [SPEAKER_00]: for the world leaders, this was card. [SPEAKER_00]: And corn is going to come up right now. [SPEAKER_00]: Now, not to give his full, uh, full name. [SPEAKER_00]: No, because I cannot pronounce that full name. [SPEAKER_00]: There are limits. [SPEAKER_00]: No, no, no. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm saying, I'm talking about his moniker. [SPEAKER_01]: Cardo, the betrayer. [SPEAKER_00]: He's not corn the betrayer. [SPEAKER_00]: That is right now. [SPEAKER_00]: He's now. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm just saying, but you're talking about names, though. [SPEAKER_00]: Which, by the way, spoiler alert guys, this is gonna be a three part cast on world haters. [SPEAKER_00]: The third one we're gonna do a lot of car and he's important now. [SPEAKER_00]: He comes a little bit less important and then he becomes really important for the Legion. [SPEAKER_00]: So, carne is born on Terra. [SPEAKER_00]: He's one of the first members of the twelve Legion. [SPEAKER_00]: In fact, as a Neo fight, he was pretty obvious. [SPEAKER_00]: Hey, this guy can fight. [SPEAKER_00]: He was so savage that people were me like, yeah, this one's gonna be really good. [SPEAKER_00]: But a couple key foreshadder we have that's happened to Karn during his neophyte face. [SPEAKER_00]: Also, it is scout. [SPEAKER_00]: Also, it is Brad's sacrifice to the enemy. [SPEAKER_01]: You think it is what you always love his mentor? [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but the best about about him is they went, hey, everybody's not doing enough. [SPEAKER_01]: And you should help them by beating the crap out of them mercilessly. [SPEAKER_01]: That's how you're back. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: Grunner, this is why I say the twelve legion were evil from the start. [SPEAKER_00]: Grunner is helping train car and to be this incredible leader. [SPEAKER_00]: And they bond as not like as friends. [SPEAKER_00]: Barely as mentors, he's bonded as well with Grunner as you could for Grunner being a murdering psychopath. [SPEAKER_00]: And Karne, also a murdering psychopath. [SPEAKER_00]: Grunner wasn't baking him cookies and bringing them to him. [SPEAKER_00]: They were just like, hey, I'm gonna turn you into the greatest murder ever. [SPEAKER_00]: The important thing that Guru does for Karno is the traditions of the word dogs, the twelve legion. [SPEAKER_00]: He talks about something called the contest. [SPEAKER_00]: And at this point, by the way, this legion is three years old. [SPEAKER_01]: You go tradition. [SPEAKER_01]: This is, hey, bad, we occasionally do stuff. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, we've got a tradition in our three-year-old legion. [SPEAKER_00]: It's really important. [SPEAKER_00]: It goes back really far. [SPEAKER_00]: But anyway, it sounds cool. [SPEAKER_00]: We call it a tradition. [SPEAKER_00]: So the contest is literally a contest. [SPEAKER_00]: And all it it says is, for whoever can accumulate a thousand skulls wins. [SPEAKER_00]: That's it. [SPEAKER_00]: So Karne asks two questions. [SPEAKER_00]: First off, what do I get if I win? [SPEAKER_00]: To which Groenner shrugs his shoulders and says, I don't know, no one's ever won. [SPEAKER_00]: Spoiler alert, Karen's gonna win this later. [SPEAKER_00]: Question number two is where do I get the skulls to which groaner and the other spacers begin laughing? [SPEAKER_00]: Because it's implied, it's from the conquest and killing. [SPEAKER_00]: We're not gonna give you the skull. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm gonna give you the skull. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm gonna give you the skull. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm gonna give you the skull. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm gonna give you the skull. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm gonna give you the skull. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm gonna give you the skull. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm gonna give you the skull. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm gonna give you the skull. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm gonna give you the skull. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm gonna give you the skull. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm gonna give you the skull. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm gonna give you the skull. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm gonna give you the skull. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm gonna give you the skull. [SPEAKER_00]: So it's not long in before Karn elevates himself to a layer of command from the twelfth Legion. [SPEAKER_00]: He's more savage and ruthless than really anybody else. [SPEAKER_00]: Karn and Typhus have a lot in common. [SPEAKER_00]: They are both real examples of what this Legion's going to become. [SPEAKER_00]: Caron is, he's also tough as all hell. [SPEAKER_00]: That's probably his superpower at this point. [SPEAKER_00]: He is, the term I could use him is he's stubborn, but not stubborn like you can't, he's rude. [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, he was that as well, but it's more he's just too stubborn to die. [SPEAKER_00]: No matter what you do to him. [SPEAKER_01]: I didn't hear no bell. [SPEAKER_00]: That's he's. [SPEAKER_00]: Karen has a lot of actually similarities to a lot of the primarks in that in the sense of you put mass of adversity in front of them. [SPEAKER_00]: He doesn't care. [SPEAKER_00]: He just keeps going because with anger and hate. [SPEAKER_00]: So this all comes to fruition. [SPEAKER_00]: His car is of course the eighth important number person to walk into confront anger. [SPEAKER_00]: And as we said before, the emperor told them, you're not allowed to hit the anger. [SPEAKER_00]: You know stabbing anger on if you have to convince him with your words, which is just again, [SPEAKER_00]: Thanks, Galaxy's most powerful psych or none of us have that power. [SPEAKER_00]: So, Angron has been butchering everyone. [SPEAKER_00]: Karan walks in the room and Angri attacks and Karan just [SPEAKER_00]: keeps taking this beating and this beating and it's beating. [SPEAKER_01]: But he's telling him the entire time about the achievements of the Legion in why anger should be proud to be the leader of their Legion. [SPEAKER_01]: And he's beating current to death and he should be dead actually. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, we thought about it. [SPEAKER_00]: He's telling anger on about it. [SPEAKER_00]: He's basically as he's catching his breath from horrifying assaults is expunging all of the success of the Legion. [SPEAKER_00]: But the, what ends up moving anger on over, though, and what it's kind of halts anger on his salt is that at no point does car and beg for mercy. [SPEAKER_00]: Car and takes this beating and is beating and he never wants as for mercy. [SPEAKER_00]: He never pleads and anger looks at car and realizes this actually is a warrior I'm talking to here. [SPEAKER_00]: Because, you know, the other ones were, it was implied when we were cowards. [SPEAKER_00]: Because that was angry on the biggest thing. [SPEAKER_00]: It's he's given this legion and don't forget, he was in the middle of a battle. [SPEAKER_00]: And the emperor, rather than fight, took him and took the easy way out. [SPEAKER_00]: So he assumes that's how all of the imperium functions, they're cowards. [SPEAKER_00]: He would have fought. [SPEAKER_00]: But now he is corn, who just is taking this beating from him, no matter what he does to him, corn continues. [SPEAKER_00]: And so Angron says, all right, tell me more. [SPEAKER_00]: And Angron, let's car and explain to him all the histories of the Legion, all the accomplishments they have. [SPEAKER_00]: And he goes, OK, you've got something I can work with here. [SPEAKER_00]: You're not there yet. [SPEAKER_00]: But you got something I can work with there. [SPEAKER_00]: He got Moxie, kid, and I'm going to deal with this. [SPEAKER_00]: Now, what's fun about this is that Angron comes out still hates the whole Legion. [SPEAKER_00]: But basically says, I like this one guy. [SPEAKER_00]: It's the scene from a half-baked. [SPEAKER_00]: But there we go. [SPEAKER_00]: But that's car. [SPEAKER_00]: And he decides to promote current to be as equity, EQ, E, R, R, Y, equity. [SPEAKER_00]: Let me go with that query. [SPEAKER_00]: All right. [SPEAKER_00]: An equity is the personal compound of a primer. [SPEAKER_00]: It's the highest title within a legion. [SPEAKER_00]: but there's a little bit of an issue with car and getting that title. [SPEAKER_00]: Is that issue? [SPEAKER_01]: Hold on. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm jumping all over this, because you just said it's personal confident. [SPEAKER_01]: Now, the biggest thing that he's supposed to do is stay the hand of the leader when it's appropriate. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it shows car and as that guy who would not stay your hand. [SPEAKER_01]: If you were thinking about not killing someone, he would call you out and probably kill that person. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, that's what I say. [SPEAKER_00]: He wants to stay your hand. [SPEAKER_00]: He's supposed to be the voice of reason. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that's sure. [SPEAKER_00]: Fun story. [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I guess technically, Karn might be more of a voice of reason than an angron. [SPEAKER_00]: I actually know not at this stage. [SPEAKER_00]: At Karn at stage forty k Karn might be, and we are really, this is a complicated debate right there. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, angron puts the basis second and charge. [SPEAKER_00]: Many angron, which is great. [SPEAKER_00]: They're both susceptible fits of rage, both like killing everybody. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, in some ways pretty good setup. [SPEAKER_01]: And he also hate everyone, including themselves. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, themselves their own Legion and we're going to talk about the other way to Twitter. [SPEAKER_00]: So Angra now takes over the Legion because the shape and he does a couple things that I just find kind of funny. [SPEAKER_00]: First off, he's [SPEAKER_00]: The other primarks, by the way, did get to meet, and there's that little, I saw meet and greet moment, and overall consensus, we don't like Angron. [SPEAKER_00]: And fun story, feeling with mutual, and by the course when they saw him in combat. [SPEAKER_00]: It did really help that Angron would tell them how much he did not like them upon seeing them. [SPEAKER_00]: Interesting thing to hang around to, I should mention before, Karn was not the head of the Legion. [SPEAKER_00]: In fact, since the Twelfth Legion had left Terra, they'd had a chapter master. [SPEAKER_00]: And every other Legion had this, so some chapter master, they meet the Primark and they would seed control the Primark. [SPEAKER_00]: The Twelfth Legion was led by a guy named Ibrahim Greer, who just disappears. [SPEAKER_00]: This wasn't, he disappeared by the way, like before this whole thing anger was on. [SPEAKER_00]: He just stopped existing randomly. [SPEAKER_00]: Just weird side note did anger on murder him. [SPEAKER_00]: Did Khan murder him? [SPEAKER_00]: No, peppers throw about an airlock. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: But he just disappeared. [SPEAKER_00]: But Angron now takes full control of his legion and just decides they're going to be the ultimate conquerors. [SPEAKER_00]: Not the silly, rogled, dorn conquerors by the way. [SPEAKER_00]: We're going to go to a planet. [SPEAKER_00]: We're going to conquer it. [SPEAKER_00]: We're going to fortify it. [SPEAKER_00]: No, Angron's legion would be switched set up on anyone who resisted compliance and just remove them that stain that they are from history. [SPEAKER_00]: everything that any world they would go to, they would destroy and consume. [SPEAKER_00]: Other primarks, by the way, didn't love this system. [SPEAKER_00]: Angra did goofy stuff. [SPEAKER_00]: Like, he comes in there. [SPEAKER_00]: He saw the training pits they had and discovered that they were using like less than lethal rounds. [SPEAKER_00]: Nope. [SPEAKER_00]: They make sure every sort is sharp. [SPEAKER_00]: Angra starts to make taking his legion and turns them into pit fighters who aren't fighting in pits. [SPEAKER_00]: Oops, yeah, it's recorded at this era that every single world, they're called the world, you just bring every single world eater was covered in scars. [SPEAKER_00]: And it's from other world eater fighting. [SPEAKER_00]: But, you know, are you with the results? [SPEAKER_00]: They are faster, more violent. [SPEAKER_00]: They could pull imperial compliance better than anyone. [SPEAKER_00]: As Angra is building up this legion and making them better fighters, better fighters. [SPEAKER_00]: He also, he does it too in multiple facets. [SPEAKER_00]: Fast it one was, yeah, I'm just gonna make you guys train with live ammunition. [SPEAKER_00]: Terrible idea, that's what we're gonna do. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm also going to basically triple up your level of combat. [SPEAKER_00]: We are gonna be the best fighters. [SPEAKER_00]: But the biggest one he added was, you are going to succeed or else. [SPEAKER_00]: And he brings in decimation, which by the way, I'm trying to do this from memory, but I think Petaraba also did that, if I'm not mistaken. [SPEAKER_00]: And I first weren't way. [SPEAKER_01]: He was actually taking out like whole companies if they fail. [SPEAKER_00]: But it was, it was like, those two are the ones who are a little bit messed up in this one. [SPEAKER_00]: But yeah, so Angron's thing, and he was true decimation. [SPEAKER_00]: If you failed to achieve the goals and run set forth from you, then ten of you, one of you got to die by the other nine beating you to death. [SPEAKER_00]: And that was something he expected and that was just that was it. [SPEAKER_00]: Was not overly popular by the way. [SPEAKER_00]: The men, not huge fans of this method. [SPEAKER_00]: This then gets worse because anger on really was a crazy person. [SPEAKER_00]: He decides that they should be able to pacify worlds in under one new Syrian day, which is thirty one hours. [SPEAKER_00]: If they can't do that, then decimation. [SPEAKER_00]: That because multiple worlds are doing this on. [SPEAKER_00]: And sometimes they achieve it, most often times they did not. [SPEAKER_01]: This is we're talking worlds and systems now, not just a skirmish. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, not a city. [SPEAKER_00]: Thirty one hours space marines. [SPEAKER_00]: If the city's not space marines, totally a little bit, scouring a planet in thirty one hours. [SPEAKER_00]: Where this all comes to a head is a world called Gena, G-H-E-A-D-A. [SPEAKER_00]: So, I've got to see Gena. [SPEAKER_00]: Gena is a fringe world that had barely survived the Dark Asia technology. [SPEAKER_00]: Warp just ravaged it. [SPEAKER_00]: And so the population actually were living in life-supporting pods. [SPEAKER_00]: But using the various of like a bombable intelligence and mind control, they built synths. [SPEAKER_00]: And these synths were actually running the planet. [SPEAKER_00]: The world leaders are sent to pacify it and ground puts down its thirty one hour time limit and says go. [SPEAKER_00]: The world leaders deploy and they discover a problem. [SPEAKER_00]: There are so many sense here. [SPEAKER_00]: It's not that the sense can fight. [SPEAKER_00]: There's just too many. [SPEAKER_00]: They actually cannot shop through them. [SPEAKER_00]: There's not enough time to do it. [SPEAKER_00]: And the timer runs out and they go back to the ship. [SPEAKER_00]: to face judgment. [SPEAKER_00]: And there's a centurion here named Magos, who's going to be important for about the next five, six minutes of this cast. [SPEAKER_00]: Magos is a centurion and he comes in front of Angron, they have a back and forth. [SPEAKER_00]: And Angron tells him, you failed. [SPEAKER_00]: I expect you to decimate. [SPEAKER_00]: And Magos says, no, I'm not doing that. [SPEAKER_00]: And Angron screams, I mean, not only, and says, not only are you doing it, you're going to pick the first one who dies. [SPEAKER_00]: to which Magos again says, yeah, no, I'm not doing that. [SPEAKER_00]: Angron out of nowhere explodes with rage and begins, like just trashing the room. [SPEAKER_00]: And he starts killing other world leaders who are in the room. [SPEAKER_00]: Anybody with an rage. [SPEAKER_00]: Interestingly, no, who was it in reach? [SPEAKER_00]: Magos. [SPEAKER_00]: No, who didn't get killed? [SPEAKER_00]: Magos. [SPEAKER_00]: Magos. [SPEAKER_00]: They didn't explain how that happened by the way. [SPEAKER_00]: He was the closest one, two. [SPEAKER_00]: Angron, we flew into this rage and it was fine. [SPEAKER_01]: And also everybody else died. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, he's as this is going, though, the librarians, this is going to come up a couple times, used their sucking powers to knock Angron unconscious, like hard unconscious to not the little, hey, watch take a nap. [SPEAKER_00]: He's all the way out. [SPEAKER_00]: Now we're going to back up the story a little bit because this is all coming to fruition at the same time. [SPEAKER_00]: Angron felt that his warriors were too weak. [SPEAKER_00]: And the way he went to solve it was to take the butcher's nails that are in his head and put them in his legion. [SPEAKER_00]: because, you know, what work once would work right now over again. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: And there's an apothecary there named Sirlock. [SPEAKER_00]: Sirlock is an apothecary for the world leaders. [SPEAKER_00]: So we're not starting off well. [SPEAKER_00]: He's also an a disciple and close friends of Fabius Bial. [SPEAKER_02]: We're not doing great here. [SPEAKER_00]: Sirlock. [SPEAKER_00]: sees this idea of butcher's nails and goes, great idea. [SPEAKER_00]: I love this. [SPEAKER_00]: Genius. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: The only problem is that every time they tried to put them in people, they died. [SPEAKER_00]: They died horribly. [SPEAKER_00]: He's experimenting more and lots of legionnaires are dying. [SPEAKER_00]: Eventually, word gets back to all the rest of the legion that angrons planning on this. [SPEAKER_00]: And Magos, the guy who just told angron to go screw himself, and this has been before this moment, and some other centurion's like, yeah, no, we're not doing that. [SPEAKER_00]: Fast forward wall-angrons asleep, they discover that Sherlock has mastered it, and he's ready to actually, and there's our implanting everyone else. [SPEAKER_00]: So they go marching down there to stop it. [SPEAKER_00]: And as they march down there, they run into calm. [SPEAKER_00]: and explain to Karn, Sherlock is going to start putting these butcher's nails in everyone's head. [SPEAKER_00]: We have to stop him. [SPEAKER_00]: Are you with us? [SPEAKER_00]: And Karn kind of looked at them, and by the way, why did you ask Karn this? [SPEAKER_00]: And just says, no, and wanders off. [SPEAKER_00]: Why do you wander away? [SPEAKER_00]: Cause Karn was on his way down to go see Sirlock to have said what you're saying. [SPEAKER_00]: They were talking to patient zero and everybody died until Karn. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm till Karn. [SPEAKER_01]: Karn basically was so angry that he's ain't going out like that again ain't me here. [SPEAKER_01]: No bell. [SPEAKER_01]: It just popped up. [SPEAKER_01]: It was like I used to be mad. [SPEAKER_01]: That was not mad. [SPEAKER_00]: No, I'm mad. [SPEAKER_00]: Thanks to Khan, Sirlock Noun knows where to put these butcher's nails within someone's head. [SPEAKER_00]: I assume by the way, this point, Mago some of the crew had gone to a different ship because what happens next is [SPEAKER_00]: Sir Lock starts implanting hundreds. [SPEAKER_00]: I think there's a point of thousands of Legionnaires with these. [SPEAKER_00]: Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom. [SPEAKER_00]: Around this time, Angron wakes up. [SPEAKER_00]: And he does not wake up happy, I might add. [SPEAKER_00]: Angron wakes up and Karna is waiting for him. [SPEAKER_00]: And when he wakes up, Karna has the butcher's nails, which are very easy to see. [SPEAKER_00]: And Karna basically says, good news. [SPEAKER_00]: Pointside is head. [SPEAKER_00]: Look what I got. [SPEAKER_00]: And by the way, so do a few thousand other people. [SPEAKER_00]: I think we should go back down to Ghana. [SPEAKER_00]: And at that point, we're going to break. [SPEAKER_00]: And we're going to break because in the next cast, we're going to focus on more of HR crisis that is anger on. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm just saying as a manager, I've set through a lot of HR trainings. [SPEAKER_00]: They've never explicitly said I'm not allowed to put psychoactive nails in the skulls of my employees, but it was implied. [SPEAKER_00]: It was definitely implied that that was a no. [SPEAKER_01]: Also, this gets some pretty negative feedback from the rest of the Imperium. [SPEAKER_00]: Yes, so next week we're going to dive into that and really the ultimate fall of anger on it. [SPEAKER_00]: So hope you guys like this so far. [SPEAKER_00]: Doing a lot more of it next week. [SPEAKER_00]: This has been John Barsadi and Brad Jester. [SPEAKER_01]: This guy. [SPEAKER_00]: I'll see you guys next week. [UNKNOWN]: Thank you.
