Cody Rhodes and Finn Balor share aftermath of respective injuries
Cody Rhodes and Finn Balor were in good spirits after their respective matches at WrestleMania 42 and Raw, respectively.
Rhodes suffered a rough-looking black eye after his WrestleMania match against Randy Orton. The WWE Undisputed Champion was busted open during the match, with his eye visibly swollen. Rhodes posted an update on his Instagram story, taking a comical outlook.
“You won’t lose the eye…” has to be the most positive yet absurd thing I’ve ever heard in a doctor’s office.
Rhodes appeared on Raw in a segment with CM Punk and was still selling the aftermath of taking an Orton punt kick. He is not advertised for this Friday’s SmackDown, as of Wednesday.
Balor’s lip was busted up following his match against JD McDonagh. He was left bloodied, and he posted a close-up of his cut lip, as well as the stitches he received from WWE personnel. He captioned the post, “We are so back,” referencing the return of the old version of his character.
