[SPEAKER_04]: Welcome to Bergen with Brad. [SPEAKER_00]: The views and opinions shared on the bourbon with Brad podcast are our own, and those of our guests. [SPEAKER_00]: Nothing we discussed should be taken as financial, legal, business, or gambling advice. [SPEAKER_00]: Don't make investment, business, or betting decisions based on our conversations as you should always talk to a qualified professional. [SPEAKER_00]: Always drink responsibly, never drink and drive, and only consume alcohol if you are of legal drinking age. [SPEAKER_02]: Good morning, A.I. [SPEAKER_03]: Headlines are moving so fast, my coffee asks me for an employee review. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, that's going to get a work out there. [SPEAKER_03]: I see this coming up next up here for foreseeable future, yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I know doubt. [SPEAKER_03]: It seems like every time I do an apple update on my phone, but I time the update finishes, there's another one waiting. [SPEAKER_03]: So it's an ever-ending cycle. [SPEAKER_04]: Every time I do an apple update on my phone, the battery goes to shit. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, that's why I kind of waited until I was probably about six updates behind, because I have the same theory. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, for sure. [SPEAKER_03]: Sounds like you're feeling better today. [SPEAKER_04]: I feel exponentially better every day. [SPEAKER_04]: So it's a good thing. [SPEAKER_04]: Still a little congested. [SPEAKER_04]: My voice probably sounds a little bit funny. [SPEAKER_04]: But, uh, yeah, yes. [SPEAKER_04]: But I got my energy back. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: Almost back Sunday, Sunday kicked my ass. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I did literally later on in bed all day, which I hate because I'm my backbathers, because, you know, whatever. [SPEAKER_04]: I'm all about chillin and relax. [SPEAKER_04]: I'd rather do that chair drinking a bourbon having a cigar with my boys. [SPEAKER_04]: I mean a bed all day. [SPEAKER_04]: Yep. [SPEAKER_03]: Anyway, yeah, I'm good. [SPEAKER_03]: Thank you. [SPEAKER_03]: No doubt. [SPEAKER_03]: So first headline today. [SPEAKER_03]: Google expands Gemini 2.0. [SPEAKER_03]: flash across all their workspots workspaces on the android so worksplates i think you just created a new worksplates yeah it workspaces my my death which is is taking a little delayed reaction this morning it isn't kick any quite as fast that's funny now but it's uh you know again these these updates seem to be rolling out left and right google is fiercely just like apple uh in my opinion trying to catch up [SPEAKER_03]: make sure their models are performing well and become reliable for their long term users in their enterprises, whether it's Google Docs, spreadsheets, Gmail, they want to make sure that you're using their Gemini and you're not going off. [SPEAKER_03]: get out of the workspace to go to somebody else's platform. [SPEAKER_04]: It's going to be interesting to watch the, uh, I don't know if dichotomies are right word, but these companies vying not only to separate themselves from their competition and make sure that they make money from the consumer, you know, you and I, but also how they're going to retain those consumers because there's so many options. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, it would be interesting to see. [SPEAKER_04]: I know we've talked at length. [SPEAKER_04]: We did one episode about some of the differences between the different platforms, but I think we didn't even get through one platform yet. [SPEAKER_04]: It was a little bit of a struggle. [SPEAKER_04]: It was, I mean, the bourbon made it, made it a challenge at the being all being. [SPEAKER_04]: What I think we can all classify is non-linear thinkers. [SPEAKER_04]: Just talk to stay focused and stay on topic, but we'll do better. [SPEAKER_04]: But anyway, yes, I mean the vast majority of people are probably going to use it for mundane simple tasks like I use it for work. [SPEAKER_04]: Help me write a brief two paragraph email blah blah blah. [SPEAKER_04]: Those people are probably going to use it for that, so the platform doesn't really matter. [SPEAKER_03]: No, as long as it's performing well, right? [SPEAKER_03]: So that's the reliability and the performance level that they're trying to strive for and all these updates that they're making and that they're just as tug of war that's going on. [SPEAKER_03]: But it's also, you know, I think a lot of folks out there probably don't even realize they're using it because it's an bad at true. [SPEAKER_03]: You know, so, you know, let's true. [SPEAKER_03]: Check out what you're using and then just kind of pay attention and you'll you'll probably see a disclosure because of, you know, New York and California right now that you are using it and and they're telling you you're using it. [SPEAKER_03]: So. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I mean, if my belief is correct, that's remains to be seen, but I would have to think Microsoft and Google Gemini, Microsoft could have pilot and Google Gemini are going to have a huge advantage because everybody uses their product. [SPEAKER_04]: Well, the products into which they're embedding the AI. [SPEAKER_03]: They have a huge advantage in the sense that they definitely have the existing customer base, right? [SPEAKER_03]: It's there's to lose and that's and that's one of the headlines is that you might put the microsoft is kind of in the there's rumors, you know, a maving came out here on the next headline in the open AI trial, uh, microsoft's, uh, the Delah, you know, testified, uh, you know, microsoft CEO and he testified that, you know, they don't want to become the next [SPEAKER_03]: over. [SPEAKER_03]: I think we're going to get to the numbers. [SPEAKER_03]: I had them in front of me the other day period in the podcast, but I think I believe they have over a hundred million followers. [SPEAKER_03]: So or subscriber. [SPEAKER_03]: So that that's theirs to lose. [SPEAKER_03]: Wow. [SPEAKER_03]: You know, so if you're going to start jumping off, [SPEAKER_03]: The copilot ship and jumping on to the anthropic or chatGPT or Gemini. [SPEAKER_03]: Users tend to get comfortable with that and these agents start to learn you that another now having this memory recall function that's being built slowly in and they're learning and having this ability to go back and say, why remember you say it said this or we can [SPEAKER_03]: dot the eyes. [SPEAKER_03]: You don't have to recreate the wheel every time you put a prompt in. [SPEAKER_03]: Those things are improving. [SPEAKER_03]: So once you start going down that line as a user, you're thinking, do I really want to start all over with another platform? [SPEAKER_03]: It's like Dayton. [SPEAKER_04]: I guess so. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: I'm going to cover level with one. [SPEAKER_04]: And yeah, you want to stick with it. [SPEAKER_04]: I mean, I do that. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: So, you know, elements of my life. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: So I just hinted that, you know, the next big headline, the Musk Trials continuing, and they brought the CEO of Microsoft on, [SPEAKER_03]: And he testified that Elon never, at any point in time, you know, expressed any concerns to him. [SPEAKER_03]: But he also emphasized that Microsoft's billions were commercial investments and not donations. [SPEAKER_03]: So it's interesting to see. [SPEAKER_03]: And this also plays into what we talked about on the podcast is all these different companies that are actually investing into open AI. [SPEAKER_03]: They're actually now, you know, and we were talking about is it too big to fail. [SPEAKER_03]: And Microsoft was one of the biggest investors. [SPEAKER_03]: And if I recall that I think they were at one point three, four months ago, they were holding almost 40% of the investor share. [SPEAKER_04]: So today begin investing before they decide that they were going to compete. [SPEAKER_03]: And I think that's what they're growing them on the stand for is, you know, were you under the impression, you know, that's what they said, you know, that we're into the impression that it was always for profit. [SPEAKER_03]: I mean, they weren't given this money. [SPEAKER_03]: Why also didn't? [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I think this would be a conflict in their own interest for him to get on the stand and say, oh, yeah, it was just a donation. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, go ahead and just take it and run with it, right? [SPEAKER_03]: I don't believe that for a minute. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I don't either, so it'll be interesting to see how that all plays out. [SPEAKER_03]: It was kind of a double-edged sword when he was touched upon. [SPEAKER_03]: They couldn't get him to admit that, you know, he had had any discussions with Elon per se, but I think his actions and Microsoft's actions over the years with Open AI, you know, certainly, certainly shares that, you know. [SPEAKER_04]: background in opinion, where do you see that all going at g dot there? [SPEAKER_03]: Well, there's a couple variables that are unknown. [SPEAKER_03]: You've got a jury out in California, 12 peers. [SPEAKER_03]: That's always a wild card. [SPEAKER_03]: Well, it's always a wild card no matter where you're at, right? [SPEAKER_03]: But especially in Silicon Valley, you have tech being their biggest backbone. [SPEAKER_03]: It's not only the biggest back one in California right now. [SPEAKER_03]: It's the back one of America and the world. [SPEAKER_03]: So to pop that bubble in a way, that's kind of self-destructing. [SPEAKER_03]: But in today's page I don't, I don't put it by anybody. [SPEAKER_03]: And then finally, as I mentioned earlier, the judge has the final say. [SPEAKER_03]: So the jury may come out with one thing, but she has the final say in the matter, so she may. [SPEAKER_03]: have. [SPEAKER_04]: So they could come back with a unanimous decision that she could overturn. [SPEAKER_04]: She could. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I mean, she could at least definitely always hold that power. [SPEAKER_04]: There's a special different kind of trial. [SPEAKER_03]: I don't know. [SPEAKER_03]: I got to look into that Perry. [SPEAKER_03]: I'm going to look into that and I'll have that answer tomorrow because this is a little unique. [SPEAKER_03]: When I read that, it came out of a quote for her when she kind of reminded everybody, you know, I have the final say. [SPEAKER_03]: So yeah, because I don't know if she was hitting the damages or, you know, that she can adjust that, [SPEAKER_03]: verdict, you know, or, you know, decision as to how the jury comes down. [SPEAKER_03]: If she thinks it's a matter of abuse of their discretion or power, I don't know. [SPEAKER_03]: I mean, there may be some legal grounds for it that she was hitting that, but I'll look into see what that is. [SPEAKER_04]: I'm just going to carry this because I've never heard of that before. [SPEAKER_04]: I thought. [SPEAKER_04]: if there were a jury, like if it's a excuse me, I don't understand some of the terminology, like if you have a jury trial, say, you know, whatever a murder trial or something like that, and the jury comes back with a non guilty birth, the judge can't say, nah, I think he's guilty and yeah, that's criminal though. [SPEAKER_04]: So this is civil. [SPEAKER_04]: So the rules, the civil procedure, you know, they [SPEAKER_04]: There was a civil doesn't even have a jury, right? [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, you have the option, you know, much like a criminal trial, you have the option for a bench trial or you have the option for a jury trial. [SPEAKER_03]: And so they selected a jury trial here. [SPEAKER_03]: So, you know, that's where they're at. [SPEAKER_04]: Is that up to the defendant or the plaintiff? [SPEAKER_03]: I believe it's up to the defendant or either party. [SPEAKER_03]: You know, so I mean, it maybe they have to agree on it or something. [SPEAKER_03]: There's no green. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, there's no green. [SPEAKER_03]: They usually sell it. [SPEAKER_03]: Well, that's not early on when they're filing. [SPEAKER_03]: So, yeah, it's just been, I'm sorry to derail the conversation. [SPEAKER_03]: No, no, you're, you're interested in these are these are certainly questions that I'm sure. [SPEAKER_03]: Well, you know, now that I have, I'm going to go back and see what I can find on the judge. [SPEAKER_03]: Just give any more of it. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, you don't have too much to do. [SPEAKER_03]: No, no, I don't. [SPEAKER_03]: I'm sorry, buddy. [SPEAKER_03]: No, it's been, we're getting down to the final hours, do have lunch, so it's getting good for. [SPEAKER_03]: But Claude also updated anthropic with the 3.7 vision, you know, we were talking about it on the podcast here that dropped this week, that, you know, one of the weaknesses of anthropics that doesn't do, you know, it doesn't do imaging in video images, isn't something that it's trying to even, you know, [SPEAKER_03]: partake in right now it's it is you know it holds itself out to be the reasoning platform if you're looking to do financial dissecting if you want to do you know look something up legally you know it has that ability to kind of look to the next level and try to find something for you versus the chat GPT's or the co-pollets right now that just don't seem to be able to [SPEAKER_03]: look to that next level if they don't find it real quickly in a in a web scraped they just kind of give up or give you an hallucination so clouds really come through on that but they want to we talked about the multi-modal and that is the different context of how it's reasoning and so the vision is really you know they really improved on the 3.7 with the vision so now that it can actually [SPEAKER_03]: accurately and reliably look at images and videos for for users, images and specifically, I don't know if it's on videos yet. [SPEAKER_03]: I might be mistaken there. [SPEAKER_04]: So it's more about image and video analysis, it is to gain information not much about creating images like we talked about. [SPEAKER_03]: So for example, when you're uploading a PDF, you know, it's technically an image, you know. [SPEAKER_03]: Technically, right? [SPEAKER_03]: But it's dissecting that. [SPEAKER_03]: that it was actually extracting the text and putting into text format for itself. [SPEAKER_03]: So I'm not sure if that's one of the imaging updates that it made. [SPEAKER_04]: So working in the printing publishing and advertising world, PDFs, which are were amazing development 20 plus years ago when Adobe first came out with it. [SPEAKER_04]: stands for portable document format it's a it's a really cool way of embedding you know embedding the pipe faces into a document was always kind of the sticky part of it because at the time now Adobe pretty much owns that market too but at the time type faces came from several different manufacturers and it was the raw kind of legalities you had to dance around if I wanted to build a document and then I want to send it to Brad Martin no printing company [SPEAKER_04]: how can I do that legally because I had to send all the supporting graphics along with it including the typeface is which technically is legal because now it's going on another computer where all these it was such a pain in the ass so they when Adobe came out with pdf it resolved a lot of those problems because it embeds everything into the pdf so [SPEAKER_04]: So the typeface is there so that it can support it because it's still in a text format, which does make it easier to copy, you know, you can, I can send you a PDF that you can copy and paste that text and paste it into it. [SPEAKER_03]: No, and I have done it. [SPEAKER_04]: I won't take the typeface, but it'll take the text. [SPEAKER_04]: Right. [SPEAKER_04]: So, or you can flatten it, which is another format, which is what we use in printing. [SPEAKER_04]: We flatten them before we set them up. [SPEAKER_04]: That way, nobody can pull the images or the text out of it. [SPEAKER_04]: Nice. [SPEAKER_04]: But I'm guessing AI can still pull the text out. [SPEAKER_04]: It'll be my guess. [SPEAKER_03]: Well, if they can't, well, it definitely has been doing it. [SPEAKER_03]: In the agent form, it's been trained to go through these multi-stops, at least that's what it seemed like it was doing last night, when I was watching what it was interacting and using [SPEAKER_03]: using some sort of assistant helper to put it into text format so could easily read it and structure it the way it wants to for it's spreadsheet and for it's it's scheme of are there plagiarism concerns there no because plagiarism no because these are documents that I created [SPEAKER_04]: So what if I take a document that's a manual for my camera and I download it and it's in a flat and PDF format, but I want to copy and paste that into my own in your own. [SPEAKER_04]: And then I have a idea that if I just broken the law. [SPEAKER_03]: No, if you're using it for your personal use, that's kind of what manuals, therefore. [SPEAKER_03]: True, that's true. [SPEAKER_03]: If you're using it for a commercial use, that would be different. [SPEAKER_03]: And that neither way, that. [SPEAKER_03]: Those are the copyright claims right now, similar to what Microsoft that we were talking about yesterday's based on being able to track that. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, so I can't, for example, you know, when I'm training my platform, I've been very cognizant not to make sure I'm using any third party sites. [SPEAKER_03]: You know, it's all governmental sites that are open, you know, to the public taxpayer. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, just want to keep it, you know, you got to be very careful right now because that is a that is a a bottle that you can get caught in, you know, it's it's easy to do to say, hey, just go just go scrape this or find this. [SPEAKER_03]: Well, if you're creating a platform that you're going to be selling or you're going to be licensing in a commercial sense to somebody, then and even if you're not, you have to still read their terms and conditions of whatever you're doing to make sure you're [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, of course, it is interesting to see where it's going, but it's definitely getting better. [SPEAKER_03]: You know, if you recall them just six months ago, we were just talking about it in the context of a chat. [SPEAKER_03]: And we were all excited when you could just upload a document, right? [SPEAKER_03]: And added to it, whether it was just a text document or a word document. [SPEAKER_03]: Now we're under PDF documents. [SPEAKER_03]: We used to have to copy and paste. [SPEAKER_04]: And it doesn't do that. [SPEAKER_03]: No, and it's really nice. [SPEAKER_03]: of something and it's really quick and you can upload it and now this vision can look at that screenshot and pull the text out of it. [SPEAKER_03]: It's impressive. [SPEAKER_03]: And that makes it a lot quicker when you're working back and forth instead of having to either copy and paste or handwrite it out. [SPEAKER_03]: So Apple has financing, or, and we do when I were not financing, I was finalizing, you know, we're talking yesterday a little bit that the, you know, the next update with Apple coming out on the iPhone and Mac is, is possibly going to allow you to select a different agent rather than their own Siri. [SPEAKER_03]: So, [SPEAKER_03]: You know, but whether it's going to be anthropic, they're supposedly looking to finalize some negotiations as adding, and they're out in negotiating as we speak Cloud Intelligence add-ons with OpenAI, Google, and Anthropic, which would be nice because then you'd have chat, GPT, Gemini, and Claude, and at your disposal within your phone. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, instead of saying, hey, Siri, it'd be a Claude. [SPEAKER_03]: It was interesting last night, Perry, when I was working on cursor at one point, because I was, [SPEAKER_03]: It's really cool because the 51 agents that have go out every night for this, you know, to find all these different laws, you know, they're being, they're coming out left and right, especially in the proposals and especially in the state level, right? [SPEAKER_04]: This thing, this is software that you've created and you haven't really gone public with it yet. [SPEAKER_04]: It's couldn't come in a better time. [SPEAKER_03]: No, it's, it's, it's amazing. [SPEAKER_03]: And now that now that now that I'm, but, [SPEAKER_03]: three-force the way through manually reviewing all the first batch. [SPEAKER_03]: And so we're going back to January 1st, 2006, and then it's going to update every day, which will be a little easier on my sleep schedule, right? [SPEAKER_03]: But we integrated, and it was a really cool idea, because we had created, you know, I mentioned these PDF documents that I created. [SPEAKER_03]: And these documents are anywhere from 15 pages to 40 pages long of instructions. [SPEAKER_03]: And these are manual instructions that Cloud and I created as to exactly where to go for each legislative, I don't think it's a legislative. [SPEAKER_03]: proposed bill statute regulation, whether it's a court case, where to go, how to scrape it, you know, where to find it, what to look for, what day, you know, all that stuff. [SPEAKER_03]: Well, I found out cursor was not using these documents. [SPEAKER_03]: They were just kind of... [SPEAKER_03]: doing it on their own. [SPEAKER_03]: And so I'm like, well guys, we got to, so we integrated this and we went, we're going back and forth. [SPEAKER_03]: And now this is like a, this is a Chris Cross that every agent goes out has this that it's basically in its hands when it's going out and doing this. [SPEAKER_03]: It's pretty cool. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, that's pretty well. [SPEAKER_03]: But what I noticed last night is that there was a busy time on cursor, where gave me this warning. [SPEAKER_03]: It said, and this is again, this is on the agent stuff, this is in Claude. [SPEAKER_03]: uh... when you're creating uh... coding and it said the terminals very busy right now you have an option to select another platform really and guess what platform uh... was in it clod this was uh... this is the anthropics uh... cursor [SPEAKER_03]: Uh, grog. [SPEAKER_03]: No, it was Chatchy PT 5.5. [SPEAKER_03]: Really? [SPEAKER_03]: Which really kind of shout out of Dario knows about this. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, right. [SPEAKER_03]: Talk about it. [SPEAKER_04]: Just got a rogue. [SPEAKER_03]: His agents were pushing him to his archnames, right? [SPEAKER_03]: So I mean, somehow somewhere there's got to have been a deal struck between two of the. [SPEAKER_03]: two of the tops that are, you know, they can't even hold hands on stage, right? [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, well, I mean, money does talk. [SPEAKER_03]: Well, and I think remember we were talking about each, and I'm guessing it's reciprocal because, you know, we, you know, we talked about yesterday at the index where chat GPT 5.5 actually was scoring better this week than cursor. [SPEAKER_03]: I think, you know, the reliability and the loyalty you want to keep people on your platform. [SPEAKER_03]: So if you can't use theirs and they want to give you the best second thing is kind of what probably Anthropics looking at it, you know, or in I'm sure chatGPT is looking at it just the opposite way. [SPEAKER_03]: So keep your friends close. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: And now Apple, I mean, Apple, you know, it kind of gets me back to the headline we're talking about. [SPEAKER_03]: Now, Apple's saying, well, if you don't like Siri, then we want to keep you on our platform. [SPEAKER_03]: Don't leave our phone. [SPEAKER_04]: Do you think this is a knee jerk response to the lawsuit? [SPEAKER_04]: that they had to pay out, that they're like, they're going to, well, we have to add a quick now, or maybe there's going to be more. [SPEAKER_03]: You know, maybe, maybe, you know, that, but they settled that, and maybe there was part of the settlement, you know, terms and conditions. [SPEAKER_04]: Maybe it's one of those deals where they figured, so you're sure to use one of the ones, some of the big ones that are out there, and the, the mind you, that reinvent the wheel. [SPEAKER_03]: The, the, the alleged claims in that, and again, I'm sure they're not admitting any wrong in the settlement. [SPEAKER_03]: with the FDC, but it is based on what they are representing to their potential customers that they can do, and they weren't actually backing that up, so it was a misrepresentation claim. [SPEAKER_03]: So I'm sure Apple's marketing team knows is very cognizant of that, after cutting a check for $250 million. [SPEAKER_03]: That's all right. [SPEAKER_04]: I'm sure they've been instructed. [SPEAKER_03]: Yes. [SPEAKER_04]: Yes. [SPEAKER_04]: Did you get that? [SPEAKER_04]: I'm sorry. [SPEAKER_04]: I don't want to derail you again, but did you get that article I sent you in a loop last night? [SPEAKER_03]: I did not open that one up. [SPEAKER_03]: I didn't get it out of the 501. [SPEAKER_03]: That could be for tomorrow. [SPEAKER_04]: Matrix. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: We'll get into that. [SPEAKER_04]: It's relevant and it's good. [SPEAKER_04]: And answers a question a loop brought up in a previous episode. [SPEAKER_03]: Awesome. [SPEAKER_03]: Awesome. [SPEAKER_03]: Look forward to the reading it. [SPEAKER_03]: Amazon also launches a bedrock agents for enterprise automation. [SPEAKER_03]: They can automatically execute multi-step business work flows and then integrates directly with AWS services, such as Lambda, S3 and Redshift for the enterprise folks out there. [SPEAKER_03]: And early adopters include logistics insurance and retail. [SPEAKER_03]: So again, they're targeting the enterprise markets as well. [SPEAKER_03]: And it's going to be, you know, it's going to be a battle for these regulatory frontier markets. [SPEAKER_03]: You see IBM coming out with there with theirs now. [SPEAKER_03]: You see. [SPEAKER_03]: chat GPT coming out with theirs. [SPEAKER_03]: You see anthropic coming out. [SPEAKER_03]: There's a, you know, it's going to be, there's Google. [SPEAKER_03]: Obviously, with a juror, they have, they have a stronghold on the market as well. [SPEAKER_03]: It's going to be interesting to see who these enterprises decide at the end of the day might be the best platform when McKinsey and all probably AI will go back and look and take the stats on it, right? [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, it's crazy. [SPEAKER_04]: It's so hard to keep track of all this stuff anymore. [SPEAKER_04]: It is. [SPEAKER_04]: I see these stories, and I, and oftentimes, if I see it on Instagram, it'll be on one of these AI newsletter type services, and you'll have already liked it. [SPEAKER_04]: This is how I'll see it. [SPEAKER_04]: You'll show up there as people who like to get your friend of mine. [SPEAKER_04]: But it's, it's just like, like, God, and it was like one after another after another last night, and you had already seen most of them. [SPEAKER_04]: So, [SPEAKER_04]: I know I don't bother sending them to you because I know you already read it. [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, it's it's well, it's great. [SPEAKER_03]: I mean, yeah, it's hard to keep they are coming in fast and furious to the point where [SPEAKER_03]: I can't even finish my bourbon in the next next headlines out for you know then end up having to do two shows a day Yeah, no doubt. [SPEAKER_04]: I'll be coming over here. [SPEAKER_03]: These headlines. [SPEAKER_03]: Let's get this and these have less than five or ten minutes right there. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, here. [SPEAKER_04]: We are already 22 minutes. [SPEAKER_04]: I know of course. [SPEAKER_03]: I need to shut up I want to ask you because you're in the year in the photo business, especially when it comes to stockings to the levels stability AI have you heard of it? [SPEAKER_03]: No. [SPEAKER_03]: Okay. [SPEAKER_03]: So it improves photorealism, hands, faces, multi-subject compositions. [SPEAKER_03]: It's a new cinematic mode that just added, it's called stable diffusion 4.1. [SPEAKER_03]: It was a big quality jump. [SPEAKER_03]: And that's what we were talking about a little bit on the last show within video. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: And in mind, journey, you look at some of these other video. [SPEAKER_03]: and also kind of inherently built in the imaging side of it. [SPEAKER_03]: The quality is really the next leap, right? [SPEAKER_03]: So they just came out with errors. [SPEAKER_03]: And early testers say it's the first SD model that rivals mid-Journey. [SPEAKER_03]: So, which was fun. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, we'll see how. [SPEAKER_04]: Do you know, I mentioned, I subscribe to the Adobe cloud of software. [SPEAKER_04]: So I use Premiere, obviously a lot for the video, and I use Photoshop and Lightroom at Tan. [SPEAKER_04]: And then I use Illustrator and design as needed for, you know, invitations and stuff like that. [SPEAKER_04]: But anyway, [SPEAKER_04]: They all have AI built into them now. [SPEAKER_04]: I don't know if it's Adobe's own proprietary AI. [SPEAKER_03]: Well, that's all I was just going to ask you. [SPEAKER_04]: Maybe check it out and see what see. [SPEAKER_04]: See, I'll do some research on that today because I'm using their product for subsides for done here. [SPEAKER_04]: That's right. [SPEAKER_03]: Navidia is shipping their new chips to some of their biggest clients here. [SPEAKER_03]: First, obviously want to take care of those that feed the [SPEAKER_03]: feed the wagon, right? [SPEAKER_03]: So Google Cloud Oracle AWS are the early customers that are getting the black wool GPUs to the first cloud partners. [SPEAKER_03]: So it's interesting. [SPEAKER_03]: It's their replacing the H100s. [SPEAKER_03]: Blackwell, that was announced a couple of months ago. [SPEAKER_03]: It is coming out, but now they're actually [SPEAKER_04]: some time ago, we're still in front of the fire. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, now they're actually getting ready. [SPEAKER_03]: The bottleneck is creating these and meet the demand. [SPEAKER_03]: So they're shipping them out to the biggest customers and they're expecting five times as far as the efficiency. [SPEAKER_03]: Which, you know, when it comes to electricity right now, that is the, you know, [SPEAKER_03]: That five times performance per watt is a big number for them. [SPEAKER_04]: Does that also improve the cooling efficiency, the needs? [SPEAKER_03]: I think the more efficient it is, the obviously less electricity so inherently should be cooler. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, it should be more less strain, less cooling for more compute power. [SPEAKER_03]: I don't think they're going to use it less probably not. [SPEAKER_03]: I think they're going to backfill that in with more and more and more. [SPEAKER_04]: It's to do more with less chips, not less cooling. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, exactly so I get it. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: That's the headlines for AI Bitcoin in the crypto world. [SPEAKER_03]: It's still surge in a bit. [SPEAKER_03]: It was crestening around a tooth before cooling down here in the last 24 hours. [SPEAKER_03]: The ETF saw another little bit of a surge and institutions are positioning ahead of the May 14th regulatory hearings of the Clarity Act that we were talking about too. [SPEAKER_03]: So it'll be interesting to see how that that takes place as a sign of preps for that. [SPEAKER_03]: DeFi, as a result of the, of the, of the slip-up with the 40 plus platforms last week, there's been a ton of patches as you can imagine, the cybersecurity world going out on the DeFi wall. [SPEAKER_03]: It's to make sure that, you know, they are as what they promised to be, and that is isolated and secure. [SPEAKER_03]: So, you know, Dr. Bailey be pinging on that one. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, right? [SPEAKER_03]: It will be soon. [SPEAKER_03]: It will be pinging, yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: It's looking good. [SPEAKER_03]: Very, I'll have to send you a little sneak beefer. [SPEAKER_03]: It's a preview. [SPEAKER_03]: Awesome. [SPEAKER_03]: That's what I got today. [SPEAKER_03]: Otherwise, you know, I'm mopping. [SPEAKER_03]: I'll have another cup of Death Wish. [SPEAKER_04]: I'm going to have another cup of Death Wish while we do a quick edit. [SPEAKER_04]: I'm going to get a go to my real job. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, that's right. [SPEAKER_04]: Please for a while. [SPEAKER_03]: I'm back to the computer. [SPEAKER_03]: Help everybody as wonderful to everybody tomorrow.
