<v Speaker 1>face to face with something screaming from the woods, stalking
<v Speaker 1>her home and growling outside her bedroom in the dead
<v Speaker 1>of night. Our next guest, Josie, believes sasquatch may specifically
<v Speaker 1>target women and children, and what she experienced still haunts

<v Speaker 1>Mississippi and Missouri. All right, Josie, Welcome Sasquatch Theory. How
<v Speaker 1>are you doing today.
<v Speaker 2>I'm doing real good good.
<v Speaker 1>It's a pleasure to have you on the show today. Josie.
<v Speaker 1>If you would tell me a little bit about yourself,
<v Speaker 1>where you're from, and your bigfoot encounters and experiences from
<v Speaker 1>the very beginning. Please.
<v Speaker 3>Okay, Well, my name's Josie Airs. I live in the
<v Speaker 3>Ozarks of Missouri. However, I had my bigfoot encounter in
<v Speaker 3>a little town called Morbille, Mississippi, which is oh outside
<v Speaker 3>of Tiffalow, Mississippi. And I was at that time, I
<v Speaker 3>was only fourteen. I'm seventy now, so this has been
<v Speaker 3>quite a few years.
<v Speaker 2>But to this day.
<v Speaker 3>I still remember it, and this day, each day, I
<v Speaker 3>still think about it.
<v Speaker 2>It stays with you. Yeah, I am retired and.
<v Speaker 3>That's about all I can say about me is I'm
<v Speaker 3>retired and I do crafting, and I walk in the woods,
<v Speaker 3>and I like the fish and.
<v Speaker 2>Load the camp. But I have never had an encounter
<v Speaker 2>since that day.
<v Speaker 1>Okay, we'll put me in your shoes and take me
<v Speaker 1>back to this encounter that you had when you were
<v Speaker 1>fourteen years old in Mississippi. What happened that day and
<v Speaker 1>how did everything transpire?
<v Speaker 2>Well, I my father.
<v Speaker 3>I was born and raised in Florida, and my father
<v Speaker 3>was a businessman and he had taken a job managing
<v Speaker 3>several stores in Missouri. So my mother, my little sister
<v Speaker 3>who was seven time or four at the time, she
<v Speaker 3>was four years old. We all did a layover with
<v Speaker 3>my grandparents in Morville, Mississippi, and so we had we
<v Speaker 3>were staying there with my grandparents. My father could find
<v Speaker 3>us a house to live in. And my family is
<v Speaker 3>from the Mississippi area, and my cousin lived right across
<v Speaker 3>the street from from where my grandparents lived. And my
<v Speaker 3>cousin and I had gone down to the schoolhouse on
<v Speaker 3>a Friday night a big bonfire and football rally, and
<v Speaker 3>it was about ten or ten thirty and she dropped
<v Speaker 3>me off and I went into the house to get
<v Speaker 3>the dog. Mom and told me if she wanted me
<v Speaker 3>to take the little dog out to go to go
<v Speaker 3>pee the before we all, you know, went to sleep
<v Speaker 3>at night.
<v Speaker 2>And so I had picked up.
<v Speaker 3>The little dog and I took the little dog out
<v Speaker 3>to the front yard and put it down, and I
<v Speaker 3>was just standing there, you know, looking around, and you know,
<v Speaker 3>more of a back then at that time it was
<v Speaker 3>all woods, about ten houses of post office at grocery store.
<v Speaker 2>That was about it.
<v Speaker 3>And so I was just standing there looking around, looking
<v Speaker 3>across the yard. There was my grandfather had a big
<v Speaker 3>yard light out about two acres out.
<v Speaker 2>And I was rubbing my arms because it was chilly,
<v Speaker 2>and down the road.
<v Speaker 3>Or down the hill, and in the holler, I heard
<v Speaker 3>a scream and it was like nothing, nothing I ever
<v Speaker 3>heard before in my whole life. And later on in years,
<v Speaker 3>I realized it was the Ohio yell or the Ohio screen,
<v Speaker 3>but back then it was just loud and it was horrifying,
<v Speaker 3>and it was it seemed too I could hear whatever
<v Speaker 3>it was down in the haller.
<v Speaker 2>Was coming up and I was just reached.
<v Speaker 3>Down and I too duped that little dog. And I
<v Speaker 3>ran back into my grandparents' house. And you know, it
<v Speaker 3>was an old house, about one hundred years old, and
<v Speaker 3>they didn't have any well, they didn't have a teeth
<v Speaker 3>for the locks, so I say it didn't have any locks,
<v Speaker 3>but they had a hunk of wood on the door
<v Speaker 3>where you just turned that hunk of wood and it
<v Speaker 3>would that was your door lock. And so I ran
<v Speaker 3>in and I closed the door and locked it to
<v Speaker 3>the room. And then I ran to the side bedroom
<v Speaker 3>that also had one of those old locks on it,
<v Speaker 3>and I closed that door and locked it, and I
<v Speaker 3>just I didn't even take time to put my pajamas on.
<v Speaker 3>I mean, I was scared, and I got in my
<v Speaker 3>bed and covered up. And my bed was this old
<v Speaker 3>shotgun house.
<v Speaker 2>It was.
<v Speaker 3>They're in the dining room, and I could hear it
<v Speaker 3>outside and I knew Number one, I knew it wasn't
<v Speaker 3>a dog, because you know, we had a dog and
<v Speaker 3>the dogs in the neighborhood and many many years ago,
<v Speaker 3>my grandfather yelled at me to get in the house
<v Speaker 3>because there was an old rabbit dog that came up
<v Speaker 3>and crawled up under the porch. And I knew this
<v Speaker 3>wasn't a dog, and I knew it wasn't a pig,
<v Speaker 3>either a wild hog or anything. And I could hear
<v Speaker 3>it on side of the house, not stomping, but moving
<v Speaker 3>up along the side of the house until it got
<v Speaker 3>to the dining room window. And since it was like
<v Speaker 3>the end of September, we didn't have the fan on
<v Speaker 3>because it was too cold, but we still had the
<v Speaker 3>span in the window.
<v Speaker 2>And the window was open, and I could hear.
<v Speaker 3>It out there, and it was just seemed like the
<v Speaker 3>sound just come up out of its chest and on up.
<v Speaker 2>It was just this real deep, long guttural growl.
<v Speaker 3>And I can remember just pulling the blankets up close
<v Speaker 3>around me, and I remember praying, praying, it.
<v Speaker 2>Wasn't going to come through the window.
<v Speaker 3>And for some funny reason, I am going to be
<v Speaker 3>quite frank with you, for some funny reason, I.
<v Speaker 2>Thought it was there for me because I was fourteen.
<v Speaker 3>I had just turned fourteen about four months before, plus
<v Speaker 3>I had just started my womanly minstrel period, and I
<v Speaker 3>just had that feeling that it was it had come
<v Speaker 3>for me, because you know, I had been outside by myself,
<v Speaker 3>and I was back in the house and.
<v Speaker 2>I couldn't see.
<v Speaker 3>It because the fan was there in the window and
<v Speaker 3>it was dark, but I could hear it, and.
<v Speaker 2>I was scared.
<v Speaker 3>I was just scared, and I, like I said, I
<v Speaker 3>just felt like it had come for me. And I'll
<v Speaker 3>never never forget that. And each day I think about it,
<v Speaker 3>and people do say that, you know, it has a
<v Speaker 3>smell to it. This didn't have a snall to it.
<v Speaker 3>But I do know that it was because the house
<v Speaker 3>set up about, you know, four feet off the ground,
<v Speaker 3>and it was an old house that had rocks that
<v Speaker 3>they built the house on. They had stacked rocks up
<v Speaker 3>and so the rocks in with the height of the window.
<v Speaker 3>It was about six or seven feet up and that
<v Speaker 3>thing was in the window. I could hear it clear
<v Speaker 3>as a bell, and so I know it wasn't an animal.
<v Speaker 3>It was something bigger. And that basically is my experience.
<v Speaker 3>And like I said, I've never had an experience since then.
<v Speaker 2>I do know.
<v Speaker 3>A couple months later I had when we had finally
<v Speaker 3>gotten moved to Missouri. I remember looking at a magazine
<v Speaker 3>my dad had a true story or something about Patterson
<v Speaker 3>and it just sort of I sat down and read
<v Speaker 3>it and it just sort of cemented that into my mind.
<v Speaker 3>I had a big foot encounter, and I, like I say,
<v Speaker 3>it's it's stayed with It has stayed with me, and
<v Speaker 3>that fear has stayed with me.
<v Speaker 2>All my life. It's there and.
<v Speaker 3>I do believe it. Well, this is funny, but I believe.
<v Speaker 3>I've had encounters other places, but I for some funt
<v Speaker 3>of reason, I've had a big foot encounter and I've
<v Speaker 3>had a UFO.
<v Speaker 2>Experience, and I do believe in bigfoot.
<v Speaker 3>I don't talk about it that much because there's a
<v Speaker 3>lot of people out there that don't believe. And like
<v Speaker 3>one of my friends, she said, oh, there's no such thing. Well,
<v Speaker 3>I don't want.
<v Speaker 2>To tell her that she's a liar.
<v Speaker 3>I don't want her to think I'm making up some story,
<v Speaker 3>So I just have always kept my mouth.
<v Speaker 2>Hut.
<v Speaker 3>That, being as I am seventy years old and all
<v Speaker 3>this information about paranormal and you know, Bigfoot and UFOs
<v Speaker 3>is now coming into light, well, I want my experience
<v Speaker 3>known before I do pass on, so that that's my story.
<v Speaker 1>All right, Josie, thank you very much for sharing your
<v Speaker 1>experience with me. And it certainly was a terrifying one.
<v Speaker 1>I can't imagine being fourteen years old and hearing the
<v Speaker 1>Ohio how there was a guy in Missouri that recorded
<v Speaker 1>it on his cell phone and it was terrifying. I
<v Speaker 1>can't imagine what it sounds like being there in person.
<v Speaker 2>It was loud.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, yeah, I'm sure it was. And I think you
<v Speaker 1>had a very good point that this creature was possibly
<v Speaker 1>attracted to you because it was that time of the
<v Speaker 1>month and it's scary knowing it came up the road
<v Speaker 1>and to the house and you feel like it targeted
<v Speaker 1>you specifically.
<v Speaker 2>Correct, Yes, I do, I really do. Wow.
<v Speaker 1>Did anyone else hear that deep guttural growl outside of
<v Speaker 1>the house or were you the only one that heard it?
<v Speaker 2>I was the only one that heard it.
<v Speaker 3>My mom had already gone to bed, and like I said,
<v Speaker 3>she had asked me, you know, when I come in
<v Speaker 3>to take a little dog out, and she'd already gone
<v Speaker 3>to bed and was sound asleep when I come in,
<v Speaker 3>she'd take well, uh, she had taken a sleeping pill,
<v Speaker 3>and she'd already.
<v Speaker 2>Gone to bed. And my my sister was well.
<v Speaker 3>Back then, we used to have we had a back porch,
<v Speaker 3>and my sister was back there sleeping.
<v Speaker 2>And my great grandmother was.
<v Speaker 3>In her nineties and she was in the back of
<v Speaker 3>the house sleeping, and of course she wouldn't have heard
<v Speaker 3>anything anyhow, And.
<v Speaker 2>I was it was just me. It was just me.
<v Speaker 2>I was the only one.
<v Speaker 3>Back then, my grandfather owned many acres around the house.
<v Speaker 3>There was none of the neighbors, Like I said, there's
<v Speaker 3>only about ten houses back then, and none of the neighbors.
<v Speaker 3>They you know, they were all well, foreigners and garden
<v Speaker 3>people and older people, and they were all asleep.
<v Speaker 2>And I like, they come in.
<v Speaker 3>From the football rally and this thing, it just come
<v Speaker 3>up from the from the holler, and it it was
<v Speaker 3>just me. It's just me.
<v Speaker 2>Me and the dog. Me and the dog, and the
<v Speaker 2>dogs did not bark. I think the.
<v Speaker 3>Top was startled because it was right very ready to
<v Speaker 3>go pee, and I just scoop it right up and
<v Speaker 3>on into the house. I ran, I was not going
<v Speaker 3>to stay out there, because, like I said, years and
<v Speaker 3>years ago, there had been a rabbit, a rabbit dog
<v Speaker 3>that had come up to the house and I just
<v Speaker 3>wasn't staying out there was something I didn't know anything about.
<v Speaker 2>I was coming in the house. And so yeah, that's
<v Speaker 2>my experience with.
<v Speaker 3>However, I do plan on when I I'm in Pennsylvania
<v Speaker 3>right now, and when I do, I've been watching your
<v Speaker 3>show and several shows, and when I go back to
<v Speaker 3>Missouri to my sixty eight acres, I plan on getting
<v Speaker 3>out and looking to see for signing a bigfoot, and
<v Speaker 3>I've been learning from your show what to look for
<v Speaker 3>and considering. My husband says he saw one down the
<v Speaker 3>lower pasture one time. I'm going to go down there
<v Speaker 3>and you know, just walk through the woods and see
<v Speaker 3>if I can find any sign of one.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, but other than that.
<v Speaker 1>Good luck when you go out there, be safe and
<v Speaker 1>just be mindful that these things are out there. The
<v Speaker 1>chances of running into on are pretty slim, but they
<v Speaker 1>are around. Can you tell me about your husband's encounter.
<v Speaker 1>What did he tell you?
<v Speaker 2>Oh? He well, he is.
<v Speaker 3>We have a We have sixty acres and it's bordered
<v Speaker 3>by you know, other people that own land, and so
<v Speaker 3>there's about intermitt and there's woods all over, but right
<v Speaker 3>there in my area, the guy behind us owns a
<v Speaker 3>couple hundred acres, the guy on the other side owns
<v Speaker 3>twelve hundred, and another guy owns twelve hundred and there's
<v Speaker 3>all woods.
<v Speaker 2>Back in there.
<v Speaker 3>And our house is, you know, sitting somewhat off the
<v Speaker 3>road and looking out from the house there's a pasture
<v Speaker 3>and then over to one side. I built the garage
<v Speaker 3>years ago, back in two thousand and three. The tornado
<v Speaker 3>that wiped out stopped and went across country and through
<v Speaker 3>or north of Urbana or south of Urbana, came down
<v Speaker 3>the road that I live on, and that tornado wiped
<v Speaker 3>our house out. It was a earth contact house, but
<v Speaker 3>the whole front was glass and the tornado came through
<v Speaker 3>the front and left the concrete but took the house out.
<v Speaker 3>And so when I rebuilt, instead of putting the garage
<v Speaker 3>onto the house. I put the garage down, oh, I'd
<v Speaker 3>say a couple of hundred feet down below that way.
<v Speaker 2>If I ever had or ever.
<v Speaker 3>Needed a second place to live, I could go live
<v Speaker 3>in that garage.
<v Speaker 2>And so my.
<v Speaker 3>Husband was out working on a car at our truck.
<v Speaker 3>He was out in front of the garage working on
<v Speaker 3>the truck, and he said he looked down and he
<v Speaker 3>saw something huge. It wasn't jet black, but it was
<v Speaker 3>dark brown, and it was not dusk but right before dusk,
<v Speaker 3>and it was walking down We have a big old
<v Speaker 3>creek down there, and it was walking down beside that creek,
<v Speaker 3>and he saw it just you know, walk across the
<v Speaker 3>lower pasture and on into the woods. And so I
<v Speaker 3>which this man has never lied, he's like he has
<v Speaker 3>never lied, at least he hasn't, and I haven't caught
<v Speaker 3>him in. But I truly believe that he saw something.
<v Speaker 3>And if he says it's a big foot, then it
<v Speaker 3>was a bigfoot, because I saw I've seen a black
<v Speaker 3>panther down in the pasture. They say, you know, no,
<v Speaker 3>there's none, But I saw a black panther down in
<v Speaker 3>that pasture, oh many many years ago, because we lived there,
<v Speaker 3>like forty years so, but so I had never said
<v Speaker 3>anything like I said to anybody about my encounter with
<v Speaker 3>big foot. And then one time I broke down and
<v Speaker 3>told him about it, and he said, well, I've got
<v Speaker 3>something to tell you. And he said that he had
<v Speaker 3>seen a large creature there by the side of the
<v Speaker 3>woods and it was a big foot. And then I
<v Speaker 3>started parking as close to the house as I could get.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, that's amazing. So this encounter took place, let's say,
<v Speaker 1>like west of Fort Leonard Wood. We won't say the
<v Speaker 1>exact area.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, well, yeah, yeah, it's west of west of Fort
<v Speaker 3>Land would oh, I'd say I north of Springfield an hour.
<v Speaker 3>It took place about north's Springfield, Missouri, about an hour.
<v Speaker 2>And it was.
<v Speaker 3>I believe it was in October, not for positive, but
<v Speaker 3>I believe it was October. And it was, like I said,
<v Speaker 3>it was right before dusk, and he saw just walk
<v Speaker 3>along line in its own business.
<v Speaker 2>And I do feel that.
<v Speaker 3>I I don't thanks here. I don't want to be
<v Speaker 3>around one. I do know that, you know, I do
<v Speaker 3>hear people say, oh, they're they're friendly. If you're a friendly,
<v Speaker 3>well you could stay friendly. I'll you know, stay friendly
<v Speaker 3>when you're around one, whether it's it's friendly or not.
<v Speaker 3>I would stay friendly, but I do feel that I
<v Speaker 3>don't want to be I'm very cautious and I don't
<v Speaker 3>want to be around one because I don't know what
<v Speaker 3>it would do. I don't know, I have no food
<v Speaker 3>what it would do. And I would just.
<v Speaker 2>Prefer it to.
<v Speaker 3>Mine my own business. So I'll say mine my own business.
<v Speaker 3>It's a lot bigger than me, and I'll just let
<v Speaker 3>it come and go is it.
<v Speaker 2>Wants to do.
<v Speaker 3>I do not want to get entanglement with one. And
<v Speaker 3>uh I do do you know fishing?
<v Speaker 2>I I did.
<v Speaker 3>I used to do deer hunt a lot, and that
<v Speaker 3>would I'd love to go here hunting, but I no longer.
<v Speaker 3>Since I've had a shoulder replacement, I can't shoot a
<v Speaker 3>rifle now, And so when I do go to the woods,
<v Speaker 3>I do carry a firearm just in case. And I'm
<v Speaker 3>not gonna let it take I'm not gonna let it
<v Speaker 3>takes that jewey of going out into the woods and
<v Speaker 3>going champion and or fishing or an I'm not gonna
<v Speaker 3>let it take that jory away from me of being
<v Speaker 3>out in the woods. But I do go prepared just
<v Speaker 3>in case. I don't know what I'm going to run into. Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>Absolutely.
<v Speaker 1>Do you feel like it's dangerous for a woman to
<v Speaker 1>be out in the woods alone, specifically whenever it's the time,
<v Speaker 1>that time of the.
<v Speaker 2>Month, Yes, I do, I really do.
<v Speaker 3>I do feel that if you're going to go out
<v Speaker 3>in the woods and as you know, really anybody, you
<v Speaker 3>should be you should cherry. You should cherry, and you
<v Speaker 3>should have your running shoes on. Make sure you have
<v Speaker 3>some these people that go out here with their their
<v Speaker 3>sandals and their short short and stuff. You No, I
<v Speaker 3>don't do that. I have to have my jeans and
<v Speaker 3>my my hiking boots or my heavy Tinnis shoes and
<v Speaker 3>so I can be prepared to run. Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>Absolutely, just be prepared, you know, be prepared.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah. It makes me wonder because the Native Americans said
<v Speaker 1>that they would steal women and children, and it could
<v Speaker 1>have been that they were abducting women because it was
<v Speaker 1>that time of the month. And also like with the
<v Speaker 1>children with grizzly bears, they'll take out the cubs so
<v Speaker 1>they can breed with the female again, and maybe that's
<v Speaker 1>what the Sasquatch are doing. They'll take out the kids
<v Speaker 1>to breed. Maybe it's something that's something they do instinctually.
<v Speaker 3>I think I think that's that is it. I do
<v Speaker 3>think that that's it. That they do.
<v Speaker 2>Look look for women that they can breed with. And
<v Speaker 2>I believe they look for.
<v Speaker 3>A lot of times, uh, the younger women, Like when
<v Speaker 3>you have this man and women are young teenagers, say
<v Speaker 3>that go to the woods and they find the I
<v Speaker 3>can't find a woman and the boys dead, or they
<v Speaker 3>take the boy and they bury him. Well you can't
<v Speaker 3>find him. But I do believe they take the women
<v Speaker 3>with them.
<v Speaker 2>I sure do. And and it it is for mating,
<v Speaker 2>and it is for mating, and.
<v Speaker 3>But I don't know. I can't get any farther than that,
<v Speaker 3>except that, you know, I do believe that they take
<v Speaker 3>to take single women or not single but young women
<v Speaker 3>and do whatever it is or go wherever it is
<v Speaker 3>they go.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, absolutely, it would be worth putting to the test.
<v Speaker 1>But I don't know if a female that's on that
<v Speaker 1>time of the month would be willing to go out
<v Speaker 1>and do research. But maybe, like I mean, I wouldn't
<v Speaker 1>want to ask, but like maybe if somebody set up
<v Speaker 1>an audio recorder and like put one of their US
<v Speaker 1>pads like next to the recorder and see what comes
<v Speaker 1>up at night. I know that's kind of weird, but
<v Speaker 1>I'm I'm thinking it might be a good experiment. Maybe
<v Speaker 1>that was wrong for me to mention it wouldn't.
<v Speaker 3>No, it's not wrong. It's a scientific experiment. Actually, it
<v Speaker 3>would be an experiment. See if you if that that
<v Speaker 3>older smell does draw men, and I think I do
<v Speaker 3>believe it would.
<v Speaker 2>I firmly believe it would.
<v Speaker 3>And I do believe that when they no, I think
<v Speaker 3>all they can. I think they're very sensitive to smell
<v Speaker 3>and that they can tell if it's a man or
<v Speaker 3>a woman. And I do believe that they are able
<v Speaker 3>to tell whether they have bred before or not. I
<v Speaker 3>think that that's because they are so sensitive, because you know,
<v Speaker 3>there's they've still got all their animal instincts were you know,
<v Speaker 3>years ago, many years ago when we lived out in woods,
<v Speaker 3>we had a lot of instincts and senses and stuff
<v Speaker 3>that we have basically we don't use now. Well, they
<v Speaker 3>still use their senses, and I think that they can tell.
<v Speaker 2>Who's out in the woods and you know, male female, and.
<v Speaker 3>How they about, how old they are, and that you
<v Speaker 3>know just a lot more about that person than what
<v Speaker 3>we give them credit for I don't think that this
<v Speaker 3>is up it's just a big you know, a Neanderthal
<v Speaker 3>or a big dumb beast or something. I think this
<v Speaker 3>is a very very very smart well sasquad for bigfoot.
<v Speaker 3>I think they are very smart and they yeah, I do.
<v Speaker 3>I think they.
<v Speaker 2>They use all their and they've used all their senses
<v Speaker 2>to survive. Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>Absolutely, it's obvious they have senses that we don't understand
<v Speaker 1>and they use them to avoid humans. And with deer hunting,
<v Speaker 1>people use dough and heat to attract a big buck.
<v Speaker 1>So I mean, I don't think it's too far out
<v Speaker 1>there to think that a human scent wouldn't attract one
<v Speaker 1>of these creatures.
<v Speaker 3>Possibly, Yeah, that's exactly. And I think that they can tell.
<v Speaker 3>They can they can even tell basically from just actually urine.
<v Speaker 3>Also that whether it's a male or a female. And
<v Speaker 3>I I think that you know, when maybe a young
<v Speaker 3>couple or when a non female do go out, Like

<v Speaker 1>Absolutely, And before we wrap up the podcast, have you
<v Speaker 1>ever had a paranormal experience anything that you'd like to share?
<v Speaker 3>Well, I've had, you know, an experience here and they're like, like,
<v Speaker 3>I've had this little bigfoot experience, and so all my
<v Speaker 3>life I've known that there was a bigfoot and then
<v Speaker 3>of course I've had my UFO experience, so I know
<v Speaker 3>that there's uufos out there. And my first husband, or
<v Speaker 3>my ex husband, he him and I were living with
<v Speaker 3>a friend up in Saint Joe, Missouri.
<v Speaker 2>We were living in.
<v Speaker 3>A big old Victorian house, big old things, three stories,
<v Speaker 3>and we lived on the bottom, bottom floor because once
<v Speaker 3>again I was pregnant with my second child and didn't
<v Speaker 3>want to climb the stairs, so we lived on the
<v Speaker 3>bottom floor.
<v Speaker 2>And then the man and his son.
<v Speaker 3>That we were living with, they lived on second floor,
<v Speaker 3>and we would When I first moved there, I kept
<v Speaker 3>hearing during the day. I would hear something upstairs, so
<v Speaker 3>I would go upstairs and I would look, and I
<v Speaker 3>didn't find anything. And then I come back down and
<v Speaker 3>it got to the point I mean, this house became
<v Speaker 3>very active because we could all be sitting in the
<v Speaker 3>living room and talking and we could hear people are
<v Speaker 3>here footsteps out on the staircase, and we could up
<v Speaker 3>and go look out there, thinking, well, maybe it's one
<v Speaker 3>of the kids. And then then we'd looked over the
<v Speaker 3>kids right over there, and there would be nobody on
<v Speaker 3>the staircase, and we, you know, sit back down and
<v Speaker 3>like we hear footsteps maybe halfway down the staircase or
<v Speaker 3>halfway up the staircase, and it was just one of
<v Speaker 3>those big, open old staircases. It wasn't walled in or nothing,
<v Speaker 3>so you could see up and around the banister and everything,
<v Speaker 3>and there wouldn't be anybody there.
<v Speaker 2>And then.
<v Speaker 3>During the day, you know, the guys would go off
<v Speaker 3>and they would go on and go to work, and men, I'd.
<v Speaker 2>Say, and babysit kid for two kids.
<v Speaker 3>And like I said, I would hear I would hear
<v Speaker 3>people walking around upstairs, and so I'd walk upstairs and
<v Speaker 3>nobody would be there. And finally we all moved from
<v Speaker 3>that house. And I loved that house, a big old
<v Speaker 3>Victorian house. There was so much fun, but you know,
<v Speaker 3>I finally moved to the country, and about ten years
<v Speaker 3>later after that, that house was up for rent and
<v Speaker 3>I just wanted to go see it. And I had
<v Speaker 3>taken another friend with me, and we went back to
<v Speaker 3>that house and there was about eight people standing in
<v Speaker 3>the yard across the street, and I can remember those
<v Speaker 3>people yelling over and saying, Oh, you don't want to
<v Speaker 3>live over there.
<v Speaker 2>That's the haunted house of the neighborhood.
<v Speaker 3>And I went on in and you know, looked around
<v Speaker 3>at the house and had my memories of the house
<v Speaker 3>and everything, but I'll never forget that coming back out
<v Speaker 3>of the house and they said, oh, you just don't
<v Speaker 3>want to live there. That house is so haunted. You
<v Speaker 3>just don't want to live there. And I didn't tell
<v Speaker 3>him I used to live there, but yeah, I can.
<v Speaker 3>We would go and we'd look at that staircase and
<v Speaker 3>everything would be quiet, and then we'd just sort of
<v Speaker 3>walk back into the living room because like it had
<v Speaker 3>one of those great big double door with the double
<v Speaker 3>door of sliding doors in it, and we'd go back
<v Speaker 3>in there and sit down and those doors would be open,
<v Speaker 3>and we could hear somebody walking up the stairs, and
<v Speaker 3>of course we'd look out and there wouldn't be anybody there.
<v Speaker 3>So after about five or ten minutes of playing look
<v Speaker 3>for the ghost or look for the people, we you know,
<v Speaker 3>just settle down and let them walk because we've got
<v Speaker 3>used to the different noises and the different walking and
<v Speaker 3>people walking in it that we just didn't We got
<v Speaker 3>to the point we didn't go check at all because
<v Speaker 3>we knew it was it was haunted.
<v Speaker 2>So that was my ghost experience.
<v Speaker 3>And that's about all all the experiences that I actually had,
<v Speaker 3>and I'm very thankful for them. I'm thankful because I
<v Speaker 3>know that there are ghosts, and I know that happens,
<v Speaker 3>and I know there's Bigfoot, and I know that there's UBOs.
<v Speaker 3>And when people tell me their story, I believe them.
<v Speaker 2>There's so many that that don't believe, and I do.
<v Speaker 2>I believe.
<v Speaker 3>I believe people in their stories, and I enjoy stopping
<v Speaker 3>and listening to what they have to say because it
<v Speaker 3>just adds more knowledge to what I have. And that's
<v Speaker 3>how I put you know, that's how we all put
<v Speaker 3>put our thoughts and our ideas together and are learning
<v Speaker 3>and and it's by listen, by reading and watching TV
<v Speaker 3>and stuff, but also by people and their stories and
<v Speaker 3>they teach us what other people teach us. Want to
<v Speaker 3>be scared of, and want not to be scared of,
<v Speaker 3>and want to be leary of. And like I said,
<v Speaker 3>I I would be leery of big Foot, but I'm not.
<v Speaker 3>I'm scared that night boy. But now I would be
<v Speaker 3>very now that I'm older, I would take a big
<v Speaker 3>breath and try and be very peaceful with anything that
<v Speaker 3>I ain't town, or to take a big breath and
<v Speaker 3>make sure my eyes are seeing it and be very peaceful.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, very true. And I do believe it's important for
<v Speaker 1>people to be open minded, and not open minded towards
<v Speaker 1>things that are morally wrong that we see with today's society,
<v Speaker 1>but open minded to the reality that's going on around us.
<v Speaker 1>And like you said earlier, there's a lot of stuff
<v Speaker 1>going on around us, whether it's in the woods in
<v Speaker 1>the sky, and it just seems like there's an entire
<v Speaker 1>community of I don't know, entities out there and they're
<v Speaker 1>just working around people and they keep their distance. But yeah,
<v Speaker 1>you did a great job today, Josie. I really appreciate
<v Speaker 1>you for telling your experience here on Sasquatch theory and
<v Speaker 1>the fact that you were a great speaker and you
<v Speaker 1>found a quiet place to talk. You'd be surprised how
<v Speaker 1>many people I interview that are just like driving in
<v Speaker 1>a car. They got kids screaming around them, and it's
<v Speaker 1>just really hard to get a good interview. So I
<v Speaker 1>really appreciate you for taking the time today to do

<v Speaker 3>now because like I say, I'm seventy and I'm retired,
<v Speaker 3>and I do work for my for my family. They
<v Speaker 3>have a business online business, and but I listen to
<v Speaker 3>your stories and I love them. I love them, and
<v Speaker 3>I do believe. I do believe you know a lot
<v Speaker 3>of people that they do. There's a lot of people
<v Speaker 3>who have seen something but they have kept.
<v Speaker 2>Their mouths shut. It just keeps their mouth shut.
<v Speaker 3>And I think it's coming to the day like me, Well,
<v Speaker 3>actually I don't well, I don't care if they're coming
<v Speaker 3>crazy or not.
<v Speaker 2>I just think that.
<v Speaker 3>There's a day coming that a lot of people will
<v Speaker 3>we do want to share because a lot more is
<v Speaker 3>coming out into the open, and you're not.
<v Speaker 2>You're not.
<v Speaker 3>As crazy as what they what they initially thought you were,
<v Speaker 3>because there's too many people out there that sad experiences.
<v Speaker 3>Absolutely so, but yeah, I do. I love your show.
<v Speaker 3>You can bet your bottom dollar every time you're on
<v Speaker 3>I listen to it, and I do I get on
<v Speaker 3>YouTube and I do go.
<v Speaker 2>And listen to your other ones because.
<v Speaker 3>What I do, I do a lot of desk work,
<v Speaker 3>crafty and stuff, and so if it's on TV, I
<v Speaker 3>can't really watch it, so I like to turn on
<v Speaker 3>stuff and listen to the different stories that.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, well, I'm glad they've been able to provide some
<v Speaker 1>type of insight. And that's what the channel was designed for,
<v Speaker 1>was for people who have had these experiences or people
<v Speaker 1>that are open minded to it. And no, you're not
<v Speaker 1>crazy for talking about this or in it. You know
<v Speaker 1>what you experience. And if anything, the people that don't
<v Speaker 1>believe in it, they're the crazy ones to think that
<v Speaker 1>there's not more out there on this planet and in
<v Speaker 1>the universe that we don't understand or know about.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, because God has he stays busy. God don't just
<v Speaker 3>sit around. He stays busy, and he's created a lot
<v Speaker 3>more than just us.
<v Speaker 2>He's created other worlds, and I mean he worked it,
<v Speaker 2>worked it.
<v Speaker 3>You know, we're his image, but there's a lot more
<v Speaker 3>out there that he created, and.
<v Speaker 2>You know he has to.
<v Speaker 3>He not only is with us every day, he's with
<v Speaker 3>them every day too, trying to guide them. And I
<v Speaker 3>just said, that's just the way I feel that he's
<v Speaker 3>the creator of the universe and he runs the universe
<v Speaker 3>and he's.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, he's there for us. And a lot of people
<v Speaker 1>dismiss God because he doesn't answer their prayers right away
<v Speaker 1>and he doesn't work like a vending machine. But I
<v Speaker 1>feel like, you know, people call him the father, and
<v Speaker 1>it's like, you know, if our parents came there and
<v Speaker 1>rescued us every time we needed something, we wouldn't be
<v Speaker 1>learning our lessons. And it's kind of like if you
<v Speaker 1>give a man of fish, he'll eat for a day,
<v Speaker 1>or if you teach a man of fish, he'll fish
<v Speaker 1>for a lifetime. And I think that's how it works.
<v Speaker 1>You know, once you get older, you're not a toddler anymore.
<v Speaker 1>So if you were to ask for something and God
<v Speaker 1>gave it to you every time, you know, he wouldn't
<v Speaker 1>be a good a good father figure. And I believe
<v Speaker 1>that's why our prayers aren't answered every time, because we
<v Speaker 1>have to figure it out on our own.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, and I think that he knows what's going on
<v Speaker 3>all the time, and he decides what's best for you
<v Speaker 3>because he is our father, and he decides what's best
<v Speaker 3>whether we like it or not. He'll always be our
<v Speaker 3>father and you'll all always be his children, and he
<v Speaker 3>will always decide what's best for us as fathers do.
<v Speaker 3>And yeah, he he, I do think that he's their
<v Speaker 3>father too. Absolutely believe he's their creator too.
<v Speaker 1>So it very well could be just like a father.
<v Speaker 1>Maybe he'll kick you out and say tough luck, figured
<v Speaker 1>out on your own, but it's because he wants what's
<v Speaker 1>best for us. And that's kind of how I feel
<v Speaker 1>like when my prayers aren't answered. It's like, man, you know,
<v Speaker 1>I've prayed for this one thing over and over and
<v Speaker 1>I feel like God isn't listening. But maybe he knows
<v Speaker 1>what's best for me. And that's the way I look
<v Speaker 1>at it.
<v Speaker 3>Well, he's always listening. He just has decided that you
<v Speaker 3>don't need what you need right now, maybe you should
<v Speaker 3>start in a smaller way. But like well, Steve Hardy Harvey,
<v Speaker 3>he says, if you're going to pray to God for something,
<v Speaker 3>make sure it's big. It's just I don't want the
<v Speaker 3>smaller stuff. I want the big stuff. But yeah, maybe
<v Speaker 3>God he's the one that decides, and he decides what
<v Speaker 3>you can and can't handle, and sometimes you have to
<v Speaker 3>take baby steps and sometimes you get the whole kitten to.
<v Speaker 2>Roodle the whole package.
<v Speaker 3>Like like I said, I I'll actually tell you I've
<v Speaker 3>been hit by lightning.
<v Speaker 2>I've been a tornado.
<v Speaker 3>The tornado just come to the house, took the house
<v Speaker 3>and sewed me up against the cement wall. I mean,
<v Speaker 3>I was trapped for like eight hours in the rain.
<v Speaker 3>And he only gives to us what we can handle.
<v Speaker 3>But he wants to make sure that you know it's
<v Speaker 3>wisdom and not well. I was born and with a
<v Speaker 3>lot of wisdom, lots of wisdom. I don't know nothing
<v Speaker 3>about math. I did not I don't do figures, but
<v Speaker 3>I do have was born with a lot of wisdom.
<v Speaker 3>And many times I keep my mouth shut over the
<v Speaker 3>whole thing because let somebody else figure it out.
<v Speaker 2>And I know what I know, but I do I I.
<v Speaker 3>Believe he sends stuff to us, you know, for us
<v Speaker 3>to learn and everything, and it depends on where you're
<v Speaker 3>at in your life. And like this talent that you
<v Speaker 3>have with the with talking to people and finding out
<v Speaker 3>about big put and the different paranormal and stuff I do.
<v Speaker 3>I believe that that is your one of your gifts.
<v Speaker 3>That's one of your gifts, and you have to figure
<v Speaker 3>out what your gifts are and build on them. Like
<v Speaker 3>mine is wisdom, but mine was caring for people. And
<v Speaker 3>so of course I went to work for the hospital.
<v Speaker 3>But I didn't want to be a nurse because nurses
<v Speaker 3>they have to deal with doctors and patients and the
<v Speaker 3>patient's family and the medicines and stuff. And I didn't
<v Speaker 3>want to deal with all that. I just wanted hands on,
<v Speaker 3>and so I went to work at the hospital of
<v Speaker 3>the CNA and I did the back rubs, and I
<v Speaker 3>gave bats and hubs and held hands and listened to what.
<v Speaker 3>I worked for hospice, So I listened to what and
<v Speaker 3>I learned a lot, a lot from working for hospice.
<v Speaker 3>And I listened to what my patients said, and that's
<v Speaker 3>just strengthened its strengths and my belief in God from
<v Speaker 3>what they had told me.
<v Speaker 2>And I do he takes, he takes you, he grows
<v Speaker 2>with you, and he pushed you to grow.
<v Speaker 3>And that's something about all I have to say.
