00:00:06 Speaker 1: Oh, I love the intro. 00:00:07 Speaker 2: Hello, my loves It is me La La Kent and we're here with Janet Caperna. 00:00:13 Speaker 3: Hello, my love. 00:00:15 Speaker 1: By the way, Jane and I have the best time together. 00:00:17 Speaker 2: I just have to say this now that we've warmed up, like no one makes me laugh more than you do. And when you came to me when you were filming your first season and we would like bounce off of each other because sometimes you do go, am I going insane? 00:00:32 Speaker 1: Yeah? 00:00:32 Speaker 3: Right, If you don't question whether you're going insane, then. 00:00:36 Speaker 2: It's a proper And I remember just thinking while you were talking, I'm like, to me, Janet is logical. 00:00:46 Speaker 1: She's got a good head on her shoulders. 00:00:47 Speaker 2: You can see that the life she's created is a testament to like how she works. And so I just adore you. And the theme of this episode. We also have Easton, who's part of my life. Yeah, but the theme of this bonus episode is your pod. So I didn't know that that would stick so much season eleven where I said I think of my family and my group as like a pod of orcas we just add to it, no one ever leaves, and it stuck like people literally are like we love, we love you talking about your pod and sometimes when are you talking about the podcast or my pod? 00:01:24 Speaker 1: And it really is like a pod, right, like a pod of orcas. 00:01:28 Speaker 2: And so I thought that the theme of this because Janet, you are very much a part of my pod. And I guess what that word means is people who have really stuck by your side in really horrible moments. You may have your ups for a long time, there are times where it's not so great, but they always come through for you. And those are the people you've added to your pod. So I would like to know who is a part of your pod and do you think about people who are in it, because maybe at one point in time it was like they were just an acquaintance, but then in a make or break moment in your life, you're like, holy shit, this person showed up and pulled through. 00:02:12 Speaker 1: And now, whether you like it or not, you're stuck with me, bitch. 00:02:15 Speaker 3: I would say, first of all, the whole pod mentality I copied from you. I saw how you've had it, like working. Sheena, same thing, she has her family, clothes, she has like a group around her. I am all for the pod mentality and the pod life. I think like if I could have a commune house where I get to build like six houses and we all have like a garden in the middle, and like that's like I think that works. Especially when you have a child, things change. You get a smaller group, Like very quickly you realize, like, I only have so many hours in the day. I can't be friends with fifty people, right. I can have fifty acquaintances and people I see and that I like, But you really have to concentrate your time otherwise you're taking away from your kid, and that can't happen. It's just it's a natural biological, I think reaction to be like I can't take this time away. So when I do take time away, who is important enough to me? I think that's sort of how you build your pod. You realize, like, these are the people that I'm willing to take an hour away from my child to talk to, to go get dinner with all of that, And I think it's it's just so helpful. And I think, like raising a child with a pod, it's like my son has like my mom around, who's like he adores and she adores him. It's like and I love seeing that grandparent relationship. The grandparent relationship is so important to me, Like I grew up so close to my grandparents. I adored them. They were alive until I was in my late twenties, Like I treasure that relationship. So seeing like my son build that relationship with my mom now, I'm like, this is so awesome. And even like you know, Jared is a part of our pod. He was like one of those people who I will say, like Jared and I cross path a lot. He was doing makeup for a lot of my friends and I would see him and he was always fun and fabulous, but we never really had one on one time until it was like right around the time Jason and I were getting engaged, where I was like, Jared's fucking awesome. I love him, And it was sort of like one day I was like, you want to come over like tomorrow, and then we just sort of never stopped hanging out. And that was somebody where I'm like I just like plucked him into my pod and I was like, you're here now, and now he's literally my son's number one favorite human being. 00:04:28 Speaker 1: I love no and he and Jared loves that too. Like the moment that. 00:04:36 Speaker 2: Cam shows up Jared is like out of the cart, like, yeah, holds on to him. No one gets to hold Cam because that's their time. 00:04:44 Speaker 3: Yeah, they have the best relationship and that's I'm so grateful for that. And I'm like, Jared's a constant. He will be a friend and feel like family forever. There's no breaking us up. He really is my husband. And Jason and Jared are also extremely close. That's important, so close. They talk sometimes more than like Jared. Sometimes we'll talk to Jason more in a day than he will be like because they talk about movies and I'm not a movie watcher like stuff like that. But like, Jared's very much in our pod. Jared's literally babysitting Cameron right now. My mom's sat back for another week. I was like, I really want to do law this podcast, but my mom's not here, and he's like, what are you talking about. I'll come over and hang out with Cameron. Jason's working from home, so like Jason will pop out, change diapers and do like the stuff, and then Jared entertains and gets to have fun. So yeah, he's very much like a part of our pod. And it's honestly, if I could build we built a guesthouse in our backyard for my mom. 00:05:35 Speaker 2: Well I want to talk about that, because your mom was living in Ohio and he's currently trying to make the move to Los Angeles. 00:05:44 Speaker 3: Yep, so she'll be out here. She's been here pretty much almost full time since the summer. Yeah, she went. She's went home for three weeks, like right after we were finished filming, she went home to get some stuff done. She's going to be back next week. And like when she is gone, man, it's rough, like even just I just like having somebody to do stuff with and talk to. Like Jason's working during the day, my mom's like, want to go to this zoo, want to go to this I'm like, yeah, let's go do something fun. Right, And then it's not just like me by myself with Cameron like trying to talk to him all day. It's like we can go do stuff together. 00:06:16 Speaker 4: Yeah. 00:06:16 Speaker 3: So she'll be out here soon and it's the best. Yeah. We turned our We had an unattached to car garage that we completely remodeled into being a studio apartment. And it's honestly when it. 00:06:28 Speaker 1: Was done like a little safe. 00:06:30 Speaker 4: I got to. 00:06:30 Speaker 3: Design it and everything and like pick out all the tie pick out, the flooring, all that. When it was done, and my mom was like moving stuff, and I was like, wait a second, I want to be back here the main house. 00:06:40 Speaker 4: With Jason in the bite. 00:06:42 Speaker 3: I'm going to be out here. Come get me when you No. 00:06:45 Speaker 2: Seriously though, and the spot when your mom went back, I think it was like she was planning on going back to Ohio. I'm not going to stay home because this is her now going back to Ohio. 00:06:56 Speaker 1: And I told my mom. I was like, I'm worried. 00:06:59 Speaker 2: Yeah, because if Claudia goes back to Hoi, Ohio and is like having some fun with her girls and they're single, I'm like, what if she doesn't come back now? My mom said, mark my words, there is nothing like being around your grand baby. 00:07:14 Speaker 1: She will be hauling ass back here. 00:07:16 Speaker 2: And not only did she holl ass back here, she came back earlier than she planned, totally like I. 00:07:21 Speaker 3: Would say, so she I was like, you know what they say, like if you love something, let it go and come back. She went home for a while and I was and she had all these plans. My mom's at every play opening. She's like, Oh, this new restaurant in town we were at this so she's very social and I, as a goer, I was worried, like, you know, my oma has a couple of friends here, mostly your mom. She has mom, but you know, she has she has family here, she has her brother here, but like you know, she has friends that she's had for her entire life in Ohio. 00:07:51 Speaker 1: Right. 00:07:51 Speaker 3: So those like three weeks after filming and she went home for a while, I was like, Okay, this is when I have to let the bird go and hope she comes back to me. And after three weeks I would FaceTime her with Cameron, and I knew that Cameron was at the age where he was starting to recognize people and he knew who his people are and then who strangers are. So when we had FaceTime, he would and like reach for the phone and get so excited when he saw my mom's face. My mom was like, oh, he doesn't miss me. He doesn't know yet they know. When she came back, he was giggling, reached for her, was like literally like couldn't contain his excitement. And when she saw that, she was like, oh my god. He did, like really he recognized me. And I'm like, yeah, bitch, you're his grandmother. You know, you spend so much time. So I think that when she went home she was like, yeah, I saw all of my friends. We had a great time and stuff. But I think that trip really cemented for her that she's like fully ready to come out here. 00:08:46 Speaker 1: I always ask my mom. 00:08:47 Speaker 2: I'm like, what is it like to be a grandparent, because I know now how my mom feels about me and how she feels about Easton. And I know because I'm a parent, but I always wonder and she goes, it's wild because it's a completely new love that I can't explain. And when I tell new moms that, I'm like, it's a love you can't explain. I now know that my mom is trying to convey how she feels about Ocean. And you have a husband, which is what I'm lacking. 00:09:19 Speaker 3: So don't have a husband. 00:09:21 Speaker 4: You don't. 00:09:22 Speaker 2: You don't have a husband, And that's great, that's fine. I'm so attached to my mom that even thinking about dating, because she's like, when you find your person, I'll move in to the back house. And I'm like, hold up, that can't work because you moving into the back house then removes Easton, which then removes land. 00:09:43 Speaker 3: In and then you guys will never eat again. 00:09:46 Speaker 1: We'll never eat again. 00:09:47 Speaker 2: But just he's so smart, And I'm like this pod that now landon is a part of like bringing a dudent. It almost brings me anxiety because I'm like, they have to be okay with the way that the pod moves through the waters because we've got it down, like we've got our hunting game down, We've got the swimming down. It would change the whole dynamic of the pod and I'm not willing to adjust it for a dude. And my next question is, why would my mama have to move out? Are you telling me the person that i'm why would he have to move in here? 00:10:17 Speaker 3: No, the right person will come into the pod and make it better, and it won't be we have to kick this person and move. The right person will come into the pod and you'll be like, Wow, my mom can stay and it's even better, Like my mom and Jason have the best relationship. Like thre's days where one of them's driving me insane and I'm like, go to bitch to the other one and they defend each other. I'm like, what the fuck is this sucks? Yeah, I like my mom like I'll be like, oh Jesus knowing me, he said this or he did this, or he was late or whatever. My Mom's like, you are lucky to have him, and I'm like, Mitch, i am your first born, and be nice to me. Just tell me for one minute that no. 00:10:57 Speaker 1: She remembers when you took the primary vessroom. 00:11:00 Speaker 4: She does. 00:11:01 Speaker 2: She will never forget Euston. Who's who would you say is in your pod? That isn't necessarily in mind because in mind, yeah, Taylor, tap good, tap good? Okay, okay, Rude Landon, No, Justin Easton always gravitates to the younger brother. 00:11:23 Speaker 4: Yeah. Noticed, Yeah, because I'm young at heart in your energy. Yeah, I feel like I got young energy. 00:11:30 Speaker 1: So it's a large pod. 00:11:32 Speaker 4: Yeah. 00:11:32 Speaker 5: My homies are like, I keep my homies very close. I talk to him every day. They keep me on good pass. I convent to them about things that like if you and Mom pissed me off, I convent to them and they're like, yeah, that's it, and I'm like, you're right, that is it, and then I'm fine. 00:11:47 Speaker 1: Oh, then I like them. 00:11:47 Speaker 5: They can be They're like, you're bitching about that, You're you got other things coming buddy, and I'm like, you're. 00:11:53 Speaker 3: Reasonable, though, that's like a handful of people. 00:11:57 Speaker 1: That's a nice sized pot. 00:11:58 Speaker 2: That's an orchipod once you get into the dolphins of it all. 00:12:01 Speaker 4: Yeah, but like those are much larger. 00:12:03 Speaker 5: Those are only three people. That's true outside because I view like the Russians is part of. 00:12:09 Speaker 1: The pod actually just got large. 00:12:12 Speaker 4: So like that's the thing there. 00:12:14 Speaker 5: It's I don't know, I'm looking at it as almost two pods because my pod is my family and the people that I But then there's this pot over here of friends that maybe I'm not close. 00:12:23 Speaker 4: To, but if you need anything, or if you need help hunting or swimming, I'll help you out. 00:12:33 Speaker 5: Yeah, So like that's how I look at it, and I feel like my friends are in that same thing. Like I don't talk to my homies every day. I could go a year without talking to tap Good, and if I picked up the phone, it's like we haven't missed a beat. 00:12:45 Speaker 4: And that's how I know it's a pod. 00:12:47 Speaker 2: Well, you know that's actually that is super important to have. And I've noticed that in my life there are moments And I love that you said this, Jannet, because once you do become a parent, you realize where you're time needs to go. 00:13:00 Speaker 4: Not even a parent, A lot of people like me, I'm single, but like, yeah. 00:13:05 Speaker 1: The ro of, but not even your father figure, well thank you. 00:13:08 Speaker 5: But even away from that, like work has gotten you know different, life has just grown, so my time has shrunk when you're yeah, so like that's the thing, Like Taylor, all of these people that are in my pod are in a different state, so usually I don't talk to them every day, but when I do, it's back to you know, square one. 00:13:29 Speaker 2: I'm not going to tell you how your pod should work. You know, you seem to be eating just fine, and that's all that matters. I've noticed that since having Ocean and then Sosa, there are moments that happen in my life. And I know that this sounds so shitty, but like all meet new people, usually through Shina because Shina has conquered the art of having fifty million best friends. Yes, and they're always so kind to me. But I'm such a weirdo because I feel so comfortable where I feel comfortable, and I think it's because maybe situations that I've been in my life where people who I trusted the most did me in a way where I've had a hard time. I don't want to say recovering because I bounced back scars. You have scars that you're It leaves yes, it leaves me wounded, and it leaves me with one eye open where I used to, you know, kind of just goes through life and the stakes weren't as high, and now there's a lot to lose, right there's family on the line, and I just I keep it really really tight, and I can't offer certain people like they'll send me these kind beautiful messages and it takes me weeks to respond. And it's not because I don't give a shit. I give a lot of shits, but I'm like, if I have time for this brand new person, I personally would much rather take it and put it into your existing God. 00:14:52 Speaker 5: I agree, yeah, unless you feel like that person can add to it. 00:14:55 Speaker 4: But that's a feeling that you just get. 00:14:57 Speaker 1: That goes off of just plain energy. 00:15:00 Speaker 3: And I think the people who burn you in the past, I mean we've all been burned by somebody that we thought we could trust. That's a little warning shot and you take it with you. But then that's one of those things you like you live and you learn, and now I'm the same way. If I meet someone new, it really is going to take somebody very special that I feel like an innate connection to to like put more energy into that. Otherwise there's nothing wrong, I think with just being like, it is so lovely to meet you and you seem great and everything, like, I'll see you around. 00:15:31 Speaker 1: You know, I love a good I'll see it around. 00:15:33 Speaker 3: Yeah, And there are people when I do bump into them, I'm like, goush, They're so lovely and I wish I had more time or more space in my life right now, but I'll just have to see them when I see them and laugh when I do. 00:15:44 Speaker 2: But don't you feel at times like it's so lovely seeing them? But once you start getting below the surface, that's when I know I could potentially get hurt. It's like, let's just stay right here because I enjoy you a lot. Let's not calm implicate things by like sharing the nitty gritty of our lives. 00:16:03 Speaker 4: Right, We're at a good place. Let's keep it here. 00:16:05 Speaker 1: Let's keep it there where the steaks are very low. 00:16:08 Speaker 4: You can always seeing you. 00:16:10 Speaker 1: Right, Let's not do one on one time. 00:16:12 Speaker 2: I'll see you in more of like a get together atmosphere, because anything beyond that, I'm then commit Oh my god, I'm I'm scared of commitment. 00:16:22 Speaker 1: That's what it is. 00:16:23 Speaker 4: Oh my god. 00:16:24 Speaker 3: I don't think you are. 00:16:25 Speaker 5: I think, oh, I think we are because I was getting heavy chested when you were talking and I was thinking, what the fuck's going on? 00:16:32 Speaker 4: And it's commitment. 00:16:33 Speaker 1: It's the commitment even in friendships. 00:16:36 Speaker 4: Plans. 00:16:37 Speaker 2: Yeah, but you know what, like with Janet, I could make plans with you and I never want to cancel. Do you know how many plans I want to cancel where I'm like fuck this every single it's because you like dinner at six thirty. 00:16:47 Speaker 3: She's got six thirty. What are we doing late night? Six thirty? You mean five? I in the last six months has been five or five thirty. 00:16:55 Speaker 4: No, I'm turning into these bitches. They were like, let's go to do it. We were in Palm Springs and they were like, let's go to dinner really early. I was like, yeah, like four thirty. They were like, we were thinking five. I was like, fuck. 00:17:06 Speaker 2: The difference by the way it really does. It does because you have to account for travel time. And when I see that we have dinner plans at five o'clock. I start panicking because I'm like, I can't arrive early because the restaurant opens it. 00:17:19 Speaker 5: Five, No, first one at the door, You're waiting for the valet to set up. 00:17:26 Speaker 2: Yeah there. Do I get a discount because I can't imagine this is? Or do I have to leave you that fat tip? Because it's like, no, I'm not the last, it should be free first one. 00:17:40 Speaker 1: But I do. Also, you have to be a part of the pod. 00:17:43 Speaker 2: And there are certain rules, like the gays have conquered the rules. I'm the daytime human, right, but I knew the Gaze were right or die when I needed to abort my relationship and they were like, bitch, where. 00:17:56 Speaker 1: Do you need us. 00:17:57 Speaker 2: I've got the I've got the white van, Leo's the black one. Let's throw the ship in the back and let's haul ask. 00:18:04 Speaker 1: They moved. They were the ones. 00:18:05 Speaker 2: That made it possible to move what I could of my life in four hours. Like those motherfuckers didn't play, and after that moment, I was like, you are stuck with me for life. 00:18:14 Speaker 3: They showed up. 00:18:15 Speaker 1: They showed up. 00:18:16 Speaker 2: They also know the drill, like they're the ones that go, oh, we want to go out tonight, but we'll make it to the Pumpkin Patch with you from four to seven. Well. 00:18:26 Speaker 4: I love how they like even talk to you and treat you like. 00:18:29 Speaker 5: Lauren will be like, you're coming over after this, and Logan, honey, we have planned honey. 00:18:34 Speaker 1: No, honey, it is a Thursday night. It is Leo's night off. 00:18:38 Speaker 4: We have to. 00:18:40 Speaker 1: This is what they do. 00:18:40 Speaker 3: I love hearing their stories about them out. 00:18:44 Speaker 1: It's wild. 00:18:45 Speaker 3: I live for them going out. If they didn't go out, I don't I think I would be fully disconnected from night life and last connection. 00:18:55 Speaker 4: If I need to go out, I'm like, I'm just texting them. I don't know anybody. 00:18:58 Speaker 1: No Easton will ask me like, hey, we want to go to this place. 00:19:01 Speaker 2: I'm like, if you think I have any connection in la I don't know who to call. I don't know what this bar is or club that you're talking about. Like, call the gusband. 00:19:10 Speaker 4: And they always take care of us. They always how many people? 00:19:13 Speaker 1: What names? 00:19:14 Speaker 4: All? Right? See, you know you're the greatest. 00:19:17 Speaker 2: I love a good gusband crossover too, because Logan and Leo and then you throw Jared into the mix. When you can find gusbands that all get along. It's almost like entertaining the husband. 00:19:28 Speaker 3: Yes, yes, yes, but I feel like husbands are even more picky. They are way more You can put two straight dudes together, they'll find a sport to talk about. Like the gays, they're territorial, like they're like, don't get them on. I think it's because Jared is mine and they know they're yours, so they're like, there's no turf wars here. 00:19:47 Speaker 2: I become very I'm territorial of my entire pot. But when it comes to my gaze, I will cut you. Like I remember, you know Elaine, Yeah Rattner, who's like she's fabulous, She's got this fabulous life. And I know that my gays are fun and I know that most people want them. 00:20:07 Speaker 3: But you steal them. 00:20:08 Speaker 2: So apparently something happened where like Elaine had invited them, invited them somewhere where I was not there to witness, right, and Sheena came up and overheard and she was like, skirt, she does. Let me be very clear, like La La is so protective of Logan and. 00:20:26 Speaker 4: Lee's poor gays don't get it go out and party. 00:20:28 Speaker 2: Yet Oh I told them, I was like, I'll see stories and I'm like, who the fuck is this? 00:20:32 Speaker 1: So you Tagg, what is this? 00:20:34 Speaker 4: Just invite me now gays my husbands? 00:20:37 Speaker 1: No, but I do get concerned. 00:20:38 Speaker 5: I'm sure walking in the house and she'll be like the gusbands were in a place I don't know if I liked them. 00:20:43 Speaker 2: Yeah, who are these new faces? 00:20:46 Speaker 1: I don't trust this. 00:20:47 Speaker 3: I fully get that and agree. 00:20:49 Speaker 1: With you, and you know you would get that way with Jared. 00:20:51 Speaker 3: Jared sometimes asks me permission if you can hang out with certain people, and I'm like, of course you can. I actually appreciate that you asked me, But this might be a little bit psychotic that we're at the steep in our relationship that you're like, am I allowed to hang out with this like girlfriend? 00:21:06 Speaker 4: Like you? 00:21:07 Speaker 3: You may per mission granted. 00:21:10 Speaker 2: It's like the more fabulous version of Jason, Right, Can I go out with this other group of friends tonight? 00:21:16 Speaker 4: Maybe? 00:21:16 Speaker 1: Who is no? But once you find a like la is a tough spot. 00:21:22 Speaker 2: I didn't realize that everybody wanted something until I hit a certain point in my life where I'm like, wow. 00:21:30 Speaker 1: People are messed up in this city. 00:21:32 Speaker 2: And I've always been told like new York is a different kind of vibe and people are straightforward, and I'm like, La is like that too. 00:21:40 Speaker 1: I have a great group of people. 00:21:42 Speaker 2: Now I'm looking around, I'm like, so, I have about four friends who I'm like deep, with Janet being one of them. And I'm like, is this a me problem? And I always feel like if you can look in the mirror and say is this a me problem? 00:21:57 Speaker 1: Then you know sometimes it might be. 00:21:59 Speaker 2: There are many friend in my life that have gone south and I go, you know what, I could have handled that totally differently, but I didn't, and this is where we are. But there's other people where I'm like, wow, I had a lot of fat that I had to cut. It's a little depressing, and I'm like, I really thought that that person was going to be in the. 00:22:18 Speaker 1: Pod for life. Its it's depressed sometimes. 00:22:21 Speaker 3: That once you realize though, if somebody's draining your energy instead of like recharging you, Like when we leave dinner at five at five forty five am, I'm like recharged. I'm like, oh, that was so light and nice, and now I feel like I can go home and like do my mom's stuff and like I got high time away to like enjoy myself and then now I can go back kind of refreshed. But when you leave somebody, maybe even that you felt like was in your pod, and you're like, oh, I'm like exhausted and like I'm feeling stressed and I don't know why. Like that's when it's time to trim the fat. 00:22:51 Speaker 1: I agree with you. 00:22:52 Speaker 2: Every time we go and get dinner, whether it's like you and me and Sheesh, Brittany's like, I always feel so good leave the dinner. 00:23:00 Speaker 3: Yeah, we like just laughed, goofed off, had a great time, right and like burn some steam and like got girl talk out. Yeah, when you leave somebody and you're like, oh, I don't like I feel like ikey, I feel like we just talked about stuff I don't care about the whole time, right, And there's a nice way to trim the fat. Sometimes it's just like I can't offer you my time right now. And maybe also somebody has a ton of availability and you don't and they're hey, what are you doing today? What are you doing today? And you're like, I'm I'm not an every day hangout kind of person, Like I need people Like if you say, hey, you want to get dinner time, like I can't I have this thing. It's not like I don't feel pressure. I don't feel like, oh I'm gonna if I don't go get dinner with her, I'm gonna let her down or it's gonna change our friendship. It's like, all right, cool, well let me know when you know. But when people are like what are you doing today, tomorrow the next day, and I'm like, oh, I don't have time for this, yeah, it's like we're not aligned. 00:23:50 Speaker 1: I don't I love that. Yeah, we're not in alignment. 00:23:53 Speaker 5: If I have to watch, Like if I'm worried about what I say around somebody, that's how I know it's fat or bad for that I got to cut off. 00:24:01 Speaker 4: Like when I go with my friends, there's no judgment. 00:24:04 Speaker 5: Whatever I say, it's either laughed at thrown back in a funny way that we all do. But like, if I'm with somebody that I'm worried about, that's how I know. 00:24:14 Speaker 4: Ye, I need to cut that bad fruit. 00:24:16 Speaker 2: I have a question for you, Tea, huh, because you are not you're technically not a parent, but you have and I think this was without your. 00:24:27 Speaker 1: Choice being involved in it. 00:24:30 Speaker 2: Things that I have done in my life where I have two kids and I really rely on you and Mom, And I know Mom's good with it because she's my mom. 00:24:37 Speaker 1: But you're my brother, right is it difficult that you have. 00:24:42 Speaker 2: To kind of make decisions in your life based upon the decisions that I made in mind? Like you can't go and say like I'm going to make a plan right now because you somewhat have to check and make sure you're not needed to watch ocean or so say you don't have to do pay God like he takes motion to school and picks her up many times. 00:25:04 Speaker 5: Yeah, but it's like that's the brightest day of the brightest moment of my day. Like taking her to school is like what kicks off an amazing day. And no, because I worked a nine to five, so like I was Monday through Friday at work from nine to five, So working with you it's the same, there's no difference. It's like, if I were to go and make a plan today, I would make sure that our business that me and you attend to I'm not needed. But just like that nine to five, I was at work all day, so I couldn't even do anything at three right June, So if I get to do one thing at that hour. That is an amazing upgrade from what I came from. 00:25:42 Speaker 4: So I don't really feel like I can't do anything because I can't. I have this schedule. 00:25:46 Speaker 5: I can look at you and just be like, hey, I'm going to get this, this and this done and go and do this, and that's already a grade above my job of I got everything done and now I'm handcuffed to a chair for three hours because I'm an hourly So there's no like working with you, for you and with. 00:26:04 Speaker 4: Like the pod that we have. 00:26:06 Speaker 5: I'm never like I can't do anything that I want to do because I couldn't when I was in a nine to five. 00:26:12 Speaker 4: So like, I have more freedom than I ever have with more like. 00:26:19 Speaker 5: What's the word I'm looking for structure, no commitment, no more responsibility, yes, more responsibilities, With more responsibilities, I still have more time, Okay, So that yeah, I've never thought like, damn today, I can't do this, my fucking sister thing. It's like, no, I worked a nine to five. I know damn well that this was structured. I have more time than I ever did, right and busier. 00:26:42 Speaker 2: Because I always think about that because I structure my life. 00:26:45 Speaker 4: I think about that. 00:26:46 Speaker 2: Okay, well, I'm a thinker, but I think about like just I gravitate towards people who are parents because they kind of understand, and like you said, there is no pressure because things changed like that one moment you're like, yeah, let's grab dinner. 00:27:02 Speaker 1: Well, the kid's sick. 00:27:04 Speaker 2: My kid doesn't want me to leave, and I'm sorry, like love you, but I'm not leaving my daughter who's losing her mind. 00:27:10 Speaker 3: I know that's the best. 00:27:11 Speaker 1: But then I also use them a lot. 00:27:13 Speaker 4: Yeah, or we'll have one, and she's like, let's just use Ocean. I'm like, I can get the text. 00:27:18 Speaker 1: Ocean really upset. I never use the sick card because more afraid. 00:27:23 Speaker 4: Of that she gets sick when you lie. 00:27:25 Speaker 3: Yeah, that is absolutely I missed the thing you don't want. 00:27:28 Speaker 1: To go damn it, one hundred percent. 00:27:31 Speaker 4: Karma. 00:27:32 Speaker 1: Karma is a bitch. 00:27:34 Speaker 2: Do you when you hang out with your friends Easton look around, you don't think like I do. But I'm like, Easton is basically a parent, and he's hanging out with these people who aren't parents, and he's not one as well. But also sometimes I punt responsibility onto him. 00:27:47 Speaker 1: That's very parental. 00:27:48 Speaker 5: Well, what's funny is people that I hang out with are the ones who bring it up to me. 00:27:52 Speaker 4: Okay, They're like, yeah, dude, how is it being like a dad. 00:27:54 Speaker 5: I'm like, dude, fucking great, Like I really enjoy it, And I think I enjoy it because I'm not the dad. 00:28:00 Speaker 4: So it's like, whatever fucking happens, happens. 00:28:02 Speaker 2: But I'm here, right, you can punt all the responsibility. 00:28:07 Speaker 4: I'm like, fuck, find you. 00:28:08 Speaker 3: Yeah, totally. I think coming it's interesting too because I also had like a normal nine to five before this life and when it's it sucks at the time, but it really does when you go from being stuck somewhere forty plus hours a week to then doing something way more rewarding, like you know, getting to take ocean to school. The fact that that's part of your like work day. I'm sure you're like, this is all work. This is so much fun, like best part of your day. So it's but it really does train you. When you're so used to that forty hour work week life. When you get like an hour in the middle of the day to do nothing, you really appreciate it more. So I see how you could like really really appreciate having this now because when you're. 00:28:48 Speaker 2: Stuck in a cubicle or in an office and. 00:28:51 Speaker 5: You're and that's the thing, you're done. And I know a lot of people are gonna relate with this. You're fucking done, yea everything. But you look at the claw and you're like, well, they've got me handcuffed here for three more hours, even though I. 00:29:03 Speaker 4: Could leave, Yeah, I to stay. So then you're just sitting there just scrolling things. 00:29:09 Speaker 5: So like that's where I'm gonna say, like, I never feel handcuffed because of that reason. 00:29:14 Speaker 2: Right, So not because your nieces, Well I just love. 00:29:18 Speaker 5: That, but no, but shout out to like the everybody working nine to five. 00:29:22 Speaker 2: And then going home and being a parent, Like, oh my god, yeah, I will say. Ocean does not go to bed even if I try to put her in, like bedtime starts, I like try to get her down by seven thirty, and she's stopped still until like eleven. And I did eat a pack of Milanos in. 00:29:40 Speaker 1: My back last night because I was not going to get her. 00:29:43 Speaker 2: I'm like, she had three cupcakes for Easton's ninety day celebration. 00:29:48 Speaker 5: There was a time where I get a text and I hear a door open, and I was like, no way. I get a text from her and she goes, did Ocean just come to your house. 00:29:56 Speaker 2: Because she knows how to unlock your don o'clock at night and she just comes up and she goes, I don't watch a movie in your room. 00:30:02 Speaker 4: I said, it is your bedtime. 00:30:05 Speaker 1: I know I heard sliding door open. I go, mom My. 00:30:09 Speaker 2: Mom goes yeah, and I'm like, fucking are you in full princess dress and crown. It's just, you know, I'm just thrilled that I have my pod. I'm thrilled you have yours to make those moments that you hear sliding door open possible right to just like hunker down. 00:30:30 Speaker 1: Oh shit, it's all good. Easton's handling it. 00:30:32 Speaker 2: I'm excited to post this video because I want all of you guys on my Instagram, which is give Them La La Pod, to comment. Who's a part of your pod?
