The One About Who Does Sosa Look Like?
It’s a rare afternoon pod for Lala and Easton, fresh off a family trip to Vegas! They drop parenting milestones (Sosa’s clapping AND waving), and spiral into conspiracy theories involving helicopters, AI Barbies (wait till you see Lala & Easton’s), and dire wolves. They’re also serving up deep thoughts on SNL and Aimee Lou Wood, hard opinions on Coachella and Miss Rachel, celebratory chat on the all-female space flight complete with predictions about Katy Perry’s inevitable (and on-the-nose) space anthem! Plus, who does Sosa really look like? And would you go to space if Dramamine was included?

00:00:06 Speaker 1: Hello, my gorgeous people. It is La La Kent. Welcome to my podcast. 00:00:11 Speaker 2: It's good to be here. 00:00:13 Speaker 1: We are recording in the afternoon. I prefer mornings. 00:00:19 Speaker 3: I would take a morning over this any day. 00:00:22 Speaker 1: I usually this is when I start to unwind, not start the dark the day. 00:00:27 Speaker 2: Yeah, it's going to be a very hard podcast for me. 00:00:31 Speaker 1: I think it's going to be fun. We just got back from Vegas. We ended up driving, which that's the money move for me. I don't know what it is about flying that gives me so much anxiety, And it has nothing to do with all the plane crashes that have been happening. 00:00:44 Speaker 2: No, it's just time. 00:00:45 Speaker 1: It's the time, and like if you don't leave exactly when you need to, like there's a chance you could miss the flight. There's always something that happens to our family when it comes to flying. So with the drive, it just seems so much easier because I can pack as much shit as I want. 00:01:01 Speaker 3: Well, that's the one thing I liked. I like just pulling off when we wanted to. I like having everything that I need. I can buy more stuff and don't worry about getting at home. And by the time we even like left got to Vegas. 00:01:15 Speaker 2: You're looking at what four hours and. 00:01:18 Speaker 1: A half, but because there was no traffic, we hauled ass. 00:01:22 Speaker 3: Honestly, it's three and a half hours going to the airport, flying getting out of the airport. 00:01:26 Speaker 1: So I woke up the morning that we were gonna leave for Vegas, and I was like, why are we in such a great mood with no stress? Because anytime we travel with the two kids, I'm like so on edge and so high strung. And it was just a breeze, no traffic. It takes longer to get to Palm Springs. 00:01:47 Speaker 2: It feels like yeah. And I was just in the back watching my show. 00:01:51 Speaker 1: It was just busy, relaxing, just relaxing. Guys to do is relax. Anytime I call him, I'm like, what are you doing? 00:01:58 Speaker 2: No, I'm a great a relax relaxing. 00:02:00 Speaker 1: I'm like, oh, I suppose to what else? Relaxing, relaxing and chilling. Before we left for Vegas, my baby Sosa hit a milestone. Now I spoke about this, I want to say a week ago, two weeks ago, where it started, where I compare my kids, where I'm like, hold on. At this point in time, Ocean had done this like, is something wrong. 00:02:26 Speaker 2: I don't know. 00:02:27 Speaker 1: But then I was talking to my other mom friends because I have those now. They were like, no, the clapping and the waving doesn't need to come into like I think it's between like nine months and twelve months. So I'm like, Okay, I'm gonna take the stress off of myself and the pressure because you guys, when I tell you, I've been working with her in a pretty obsessed way, the clapping and waving. Dude, I'm working out with Jenna and I put soas in the ballpit and I go hi baby, and she full on waves to me. 00:03:03 Speaker 3: Oh full because I've been doing that now every time I see her, I wave yeah. 00:03:08 Speaker 1: And then not but a few hours later, the girl freaking claps. She's really holy shit, oh damn, not just one but two gets. 00:03:20 Speaker 2: She's she's ahead of her time. She is. 00:03:23 Speaker 1: I It literally made me so happy. And now she's just been clapping up a little storm and waving yeah. 00:03:29 Speaker 2: And those little legs are moving. 00:03:31 Speaker 1: She can't wait, those little legs are moving. We did a bonus or that was a Q and A and I missed this question and I do want to answer it. Someone wrote in do you ever, wonder what so says bio dad is like, or wonder what way she is like him versus you? And I have to be honest, now, I don't even think of the guy. 00:03:55 Speaker 2: I don't even think of the guy doesn't exist, not. 00:03:59 Speaker 1: Even a little bit. However, we went to Vegas and we went with my mom's best friend since junior high school and her children, who you guys know, Danny Shay was on vander Pump a few times. Madison is her younger sister who's six months older than me. So it was all of her kids, your friends with them, yep, and all of their kids. So it was three generations of just. 00:04:23 Speaker 2: Like kids and family. 00:04:25 Speaker 1: Friendly family units. But they were asking like kind of the same question. And so I went back and I looked up the little photos of the donor. There's like the first I. 00:04:40 Speaker 2: How many photos of them did you get? 00:04:41 Speaker 1: Only two? 00:04:42 Speaker 2: Okay? 00:04:42 Speaker 1: And it was the first like toddler photo and then his first school picture. And I will say, she does have his ears. What else I want to say? The smile, the little smile, Okay, the nose I'm still I'm iffy about. I'm like, she doesn't have my nose and Ocean has my nose, So I'm like, does she have Gigi's nose or does she have the donor's nose? But through the eyes she is through and through. 00:05:15 Speaker 2: She's gig in the eyes. 00:05:18 Speaker 1: Weird, the weirdest Shiloh, one of the friends, he goes, when you gave birth, did you feel like you gave birth to your mamas? Like Shiloh, that is a weird question. 00:05:31 Speaker 2: And the answer is yes, I did, shoved out. It was weird. 00:05:35 Speaker 1: It was very weird, and I try not to think about it too much, but I am happy that I have a kid that looks like me. Yeah, and like the family well, because Ocean looks more like uh my ex through the eyes and she's kind of got those eyebrows, and then the smile and nose is more our like our family's side. So yeah, the answer is I don't think about the guy until I guess this weekend, keep dive into this. Also great news. I took Lily into the vet because I told you guys, she had a stroke a week before I gave birth to Sosa. She's rough on the feet, but she still got still got spirit. Yes she do, and that is literally what she sounds like seven if she's not doing that. 00:06:30 Speaker 2: No, yeah, And she's turned into a little fucking cricket too, crying. 00:06:34 Speaker 1: But I feel bad because usually when she does it, it's because she has to go to the bathroom. And I would be lying if I said she has not shipped herself before. And then she looks at us like, you motherfucker should be cleaning up my shit. I was trying to tell you I needed to go outside. So she just has a hard time on her feet. But the breathing, I'm like, I'm worried because she does have masses on her right and I battle. I'm like, Okay, if I take her to the vet and she's there like she's riddled with cancer, I can't. 00:07:00 Speaker 2: Put her on No, we would just now know she is riddled with cans. 00:07:04 Speaker 1: Now, quality of life? How do we give her the best quality of life? Take her in. They do extensive X rays and extensive blood work. I get a phone call the night before we leave her vase and they're like, so your dog's very healthy. 00:07:19 Speaker 2: Are we sure we're talking about the right dog. 00:07:21 Speaker 1: They're like, she's just old. We're talking about dump. She's fourteen and a half, has black lab and Golden, which both of those breeds, especially Golden. Even the vet was like, I'm thrilled to be making this call because it usually does not go this way. 00:07:38 Speaker 2: I'm thrilled that we got that call. 00:07:40 Speaker 3: But I'm glad that even now that she's panting and annoying me, I at least know she's not in pain. 00:07:46 Speaker 1: Which is oh no, she's straight chilling. 00:07:48 Speaker 2: No, she's hanging, chilling, annoying the hell out of us, and we're loving it. 00:07:53 Speaker 1: There are times where I'm trying to watch a show and I'll pause, I'd be like, Lily, shut well, she's just. 00:07:59 Speaker 2: Like not even anywhere. 00:08:00 Speaker 3: She's not looking at us, She's looking up at the sky, just doing it, and it's like, what the fuck. 00:08:04 Speaker 2: Do you want? 00:08:04 Speaker 1: She's kind of blind. So anyway, before all the great news or after all the great news, between Lily my child clapping, we go to Vegas. You guys, let me just tell you so. About four or five years ago they switched the hard Rock Hotel in Vegas, which, if you guys remember, the hard Rock is where I performed in the Tupac Onesie with hoops that I could fit my arms through. Waste it out of my mind, it was just not a good series. Okay in the moment, maybe I didn't know where I was or what I was doing. But they switched it to Virgin. 00:08:44 Speaker 2: Yeah, and it's great. 00:08:46 Speaker 1: It was phenomenal and they redid so. I got a suite for myself and my family. Madison stayed with me, Jamie was in mom's room. Yeah, you got your own room. 00:08:58 Speaker 2: Yeah, and it was a sweet yep. 00:09:00 Speaker 1: The rest of the Apple and Alps got their own room in the hotel. If you guys are looking, because I assume most of the people who listen to my podcast their parents, Yes, if you want to have like a Vegas experience, but you also have children, highly highly ri you. 00:09:19 Speaker 3: Don't love the hubbub of the strip and you're looking for like a nice, fun hotel that's easy to get into, easy access the Virgin and you're only a. 00:09:27 Speaker 1: Mile away from the strip though, and they have cars take you to the strip. On top of you don't have to pay for valet. Nope, it's only tips that they rely on. I really loved it. I was nervous because we went to Vegas for a baby shower. The youngest of the Apple and Elp just up Crew is having. 00:09:49 Speaker 2: A baby, which is weird. 00:09:51 Speaker 1: It's so crazy. I just remember him sitting on our couch watching Disney. 00:09:55 Speaker 2: Channel, drinking eggnog, sneaking. 00:09:58 Speaker 1: Snacks before his mom got home to tell them we couldn't have them. 00:10:01 Speaker 2: I know he'd always asked me. I'd be like, fucking you, I don't care. 00:10:04 Speaker 1: No, But I liked it because there also wasn't a lot of like smoke. Yeah, that was my biggest fear of taking the kids because you basically like you're in the room, but you're kind of living in like the lobby and going to the restaurants and you have to cross through the casino. You can still gamble there, you can still do all the bits. Glorilla performed there over the weekend. 00:10:28 Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean there was a lot of stuff. 00:10:30 Speaker 1: There was a lot of stuff going on, but a car show stil, there was a car show. 00:10:34 Speaker 2: Yeah, they had the like the lowrider show down there. That's what we were passing all those when we were on the way. 00:10:40 Speaker 1: They were like lowriders that were like pickup trucks, eighteen wheelers, willers. 00:10:47 Speaker 3: No, no, just a truck with a trailer, an eighteen wheeler. What wasn't eighteen wheelers semi truck. Oh that has eighteen wheels, hence eighteen wheeler moving on. 00:11:01 Speaker 1: I cannot breathe anyway. I highly recommend staying at virgin if you guys want to do Vegas and still have children. So I was very into doing the Ferris Will as well because we had some time to kill before the baby shower. Yes, so Shiloh and I took the Ocean and his daughter Everley, who's six. Ocean plays so much better with the older kids. 00:11:25 Speaker 3: Yeah, and well I think she's like older. 00:11:29 Speaker 1: Yeah she there's just way less drama, way less tattle telling. 00:11:35 Speaker 2: Yeah. 00:11:36 Speaker 1: Yeah, so we we had time to kill. We did the Ferris Wheel, which was awesome. 00:11:40 Speaker 2: Ocean like, how so do you does that thing ever stop moving? Or does that thing? 00:11:44 Speaker 1: No? No, no, no, it never stops moving like. 00:11:47 Speaker 2: You're getting off while it's moving. 00:11:49 Speaker 1: Yeah, it's like it's like when you go on a Disney thing. 00:11:54 Speaker 2: It doesn't stop. 00:11:55 Speaker 1: Yeah, it just goes way slower like this key thing's tall ass. 00:11:58 Speaker 2: Yeah, that thing I was watching. I was like, is that thing moving? And I see like the other parts start coming over a building. I was like, that thing is moving. 00:12:04 Speaker 1: It is moving, and one of them is an open bar, and I heard people get wasted. They can barely get off. In fact, when you get off, there's like a net in case you fall, it catches you. 00:12:17 Speaker 2: Oh my gosh. Maybe just serve less liquor. 00:12:21 Speaker 1: Oh no, Apparently they encourage like, drink, drink, drink. 00:12:25 Speaker 2: Oh not me. 00:12:26 Speaker 1: Oh, I can't imagine be wasted that high in the sky. 00:12:29 Speaker 3: Oh, I'm just in that confined room, just hot with other drunk people. 00:12:34 Speaker 2: I vomit. 00:12:35 Speaker 1: I thoroughly enjoyed it during the day and we're all eight of us on the thing. 00:12:40 Speaker 2: Oh, that's good. 00:12:41 Speaker 1: It was awesome. Ocehan was making tiktoks. Don't ask me how she knows what a TikTok is, but she does. Speaking of kids, did you see TikTok? I guess that Drew Ski did a like a parody type thing that what it's call the parody. 00:13:01 Speaker 2: Yeah of miss Rachel. 00:13:03 Speaker 1: No, but and he's like doing it and then it cuts. It's just the green screen and he goes and like does blow with like one of the producers and then like talks about it. He's like, I don't give a fuck about these kids, and then it like flashes back to them like dancing pans over to one of the producers, like smoking a joint and he's doing the ABC's and a lot of people in the cart section was like, ell, it's for lawsuit, Like, dude, do you know who Miss Rachel is? She makes so much money, She's like a multi millionaire. You buy books, She's now on Netflix. 00:13:35 Speaker 2: Can he get sued for doing a parody? 00:13:37 Speaker 1: No, you can sue for anything, like Erica Jane says, we're in the business, you sue, you get sued. Well, what, it's just what you do. 00:13:45 Speaker 2: It's just what you do when you're bored and you want to just have a little lawsuit. Why not? 00:13:49 Speaker 1: I don't know, though, can I tell you? I think people are just a little too sensitive. I hope that it's not like, come on, we all love Miss Rachel, but like, give the parents a laugh. Drewski gave us a laugh, like we love you, Miss Rachel. But at the same time, like I can sometimes watching the videos make me want to relapse. So I'm like, oh my god, but I don't turn it off because ocean and so well, so obsessed. She squeals, Miss Rachel has. 00:14:19 Speaker 2: These kids in a chokehold. 00:14:20 Speaker 1: Yeah, mam Ma. 00:14:24 Speaker 2: Good. 00:14:25 Speaker 3: I watched I was watching a video and it's a kid dead asleep and he goes hi, and he goes. 00:14:34 Speaker 2: Oh, he was ready, and he's just like looking at his mom, like, where's Rachel's on again? 00:14:38 Speaker 1: Yeah? How did not fall in love with her? You know her? Her husband is a composer for like Broadway, and she started it because her son was like delayed in speech. And honestly, I won't even lie. I put Miss Rachel on all the time for Ocean and she speaks incredibly well. 00:14:57 Speaker 2: They do like the sign language. 00:15:00 Speaker 3: I like how they do like more like I like how they she's teaching that as well. 00:15:05 Speaker 1: Yeah, she has patients that as parents just don't. 00:15:08 Speaker 2: Yes, that's why we watched Drew Ski exactly. 00:15:12 Speaker 1: Tiktoks for the adults and Miss Rachel for the children. Uh did you see that scientists are bringing back the dire wolf? 00:15:22 Speaker 2: I did not. 00:15:23 Speaker 1: You know what a dire wolf is? 00:15:25 Speaker 2: Right? 00:15:25 Speaker 1: Did you watch Game of Thrones? 00:15:28 Speaker 2: No, it's like a giant wolf. Okay, as we're just bringing it back, but semen, And I'm no. 00:15:35 Speaker 1: Scientist, I'm not quite sure. But every time I think about like replicating, I always go back to that Family Guy episode where Stewie replicates himself and his body just like falls apart. 00:15:50 Speaker 3: Oh yeah, because he has to make him just a little dumber. 00:15:53 Speaker 1: Well, it's just I don't know why we're doing that for me, Like it's just the way of the world world, right, like dinosaurs when it's well that's biggest is I think, what is at some point going to go extinct? Like we're not going to be rocking it forever. 00:16:09 Speaker 2: But like what is bringing that wolf back going to do for. 00:16:14 Speaker 1: Well, it says this is this is about animal engineering. 00:16:17 Speaker 2: It's not about the world. I don't know. 00:16:20 Speaker 1: It's like, you guys, are you are we so bored that we have to just like. 00:16:23 Speaker 3: Are there too many deers and this this thing is going to like help out and like keeping clear down and killing them or are we just bringing it back for no reason? 00:16:31 Speaker 1: I'm not really sure the point of it. But there was someone his name is Neil Shubin. He's a professor at the University of Chicago, and he said, this is about animal engineering. It's not about resuscitating ancient species. He then went on to say, do we bring old species back? The conversation is we're creating new kinds of creatures. We are modifying creatures in new ways. Should we be doing it. There's a lot of science here that's potentially very interesting, but give it and how colossal that's one of the that's basically he's doing it, he said, we're basically not having the conversations that should have it. Yeah, and this is in Rolling Stones that scientists warnedt dire Wolf could bring unintended consequences. 00:17:14 Speaker 2: Now, so it could bring consequences. 00:17:18 Speaker 1: Let me tell you, Okay, hear me out. We've spoken about this before, Deep Blue cy Do you remember when they took the sharks and tried to do modifications and use science, and these sharks got so smart that they started hunting like actual human beings and figuring out a way to like break through glass sink boats. Like it kind of got a little scary, and I just think, let's leave shit alone. 00:17:48 Speaker 2: Yeah, they're leaving us alone. 00:17:52 Speaker 1: Well, they may not, depending on how smart these people make the dire Wolf. I mean, did you see Game of Thrones, They like really messed people up. 00:17:59 Speaker 2: Yeah. 00:18:00 Speaker 3: I just have a feeling that the human race is going to be the biggest downfall to the human race. 00:18:06 Speaker 1: You don't say, you don't say. Also, did you see that the Department of Justice released that University of Michigan coach hacked thousands of intimate images from like people on campus. No, yeah, sick. Fuck he's going to trial. Obviously. They interviewed one victim and she was like, I feel so exposed and vulnerable, Like I didn't know that these images that I have or had of myself in a protected space would be tapped into by a coach. 00:18:40 Speaker 2: How did he tap into him? 00:18:41 Speaker 1: Genius? He's a genius. I won't even know the first thing of how to get someone's The other day, I was like, why is my face ID not working? And I googled and I tried like turning off stolen protection. Googled again. It was like, try cleaning your camera. So I did and it worked. 00:18:58 Speaker 2: Wow. Who would have thunk? 00:19:01 Speaker 1: Who? So I don't ask me how someone does that. 00:19:06 Speaker 2: I don't. 00:19:06 Speaker 1: I have no idea. I'm just surviving in technology. 00:19:10 Speaker 3: I just wake up and hope to God that everything goes well. Well? 00:19:14 Speaker 2: Are you always well? 00:19:17 Speaker 1: Speaking of hope everything goes well, did you hear about that helicopter that went down? Yes, obviously everybody did. Wild is just sitting there flying literally loses all of its blades and falls into the Hudson. 00:19:31 Speaker 2: Just seeing that, it makes no sense of how that even could happen. 00:19:34 Speaker 1: So the helicopter was owned by New York Helicopter Tours, but I would I'm curious to know who like manufacture the actual helicopter. And I won't say why, but I know of this case going on that involves a helicopter and someone ended up passing away. 00:19:54 Speaker 2: But what's in a surrendous manner. 00:19:57 Speaker 3: Yeah, but what's weird is just like, yeah, the manufacturer the helicopter, but then it was purchased by this you know tour. It's weird to me how the tail falls off and then the top blades. To me, that's not even the manufacturer. 00:20:10 Speaker 1: That's like, oh you think someone messed with it. 00:20:13 Speaker 3: I'm not even gonna say mess with it, but I just feel like they didn't like repair it correctly, or the maintenance on it wasn't done right. There's just something to me that's weird when a whole tail is falling off as well as props weren't. 00:20:30 Speaker 1: There are some conspiracy theories that the there was a guy on board who was said to be someone who was gonna start shaking things up in his industry, and Mom sent you. It's why I don't know much about it now because Mom sent you a video and I was like, make sure Easton gets it. And now it's been removed, yeah. 00:20:51 Speaker 3: The day after because we're knowing too much, and if we know too much, they. 00:20:57 Speaker 2: Take it off. 00:20:57 Speaker 3: There's so many things that like I've even sent Mom and I'm like, I have to show you this, and she'll be like, it didn't send and I'll try to find it and I can't find it. 00:21:05 Speaker 1: Do you think Easton, let's just say a lot of these conspiracy theories end up being true, which they actually there are a few that aren't there in trials right now where you know p Diddy, the Ariana Grande conspiracy theory where she's looking very very different, right, and. 00:21:27 Speaker 3: We've talked about like she has to go in back to that place and they can maybe give that memory back to her. 00:21:34 Speaker 1: Right. So, what I'm wondering is with TikTok and Instagram and I guess Twitter, which is now x or whatever, do you think that who's ever responsible. Let's say that these conspiracy theories are true, do you think they're tripping that people are getting smart for their own good. We're catching on or do you think there's still enough sheep left to kind of keep things calm? 00:22:07 Speaker 3: Oh, that's a really good question. I think there's enough sheep that they'll continue to keep doing what they're doing. 00:22:13 Speaker 2: But I think it's. 00:22:14 Speaker 3: Called Blackstone or black Rock or something like that, which is a huge corporation, and like, if you look into that, there's some crazy things. 00:22:22 Speaker 2: Yeah, I'll put a link up for that one. 00:22:24 Speaker 3: Me and Landon look at it all the time because it's like how crazy they're involved in everything. They're worth trillions, yeah, and it's just weird. But they're behind a lot of weird conspiracy things, even with the Palisades fired, Like the conspiracies around that black Rock is behind it and there, you know. 00:22:42 Speaker 1: There's just a lot of there's some that I think are so far fetched, But then I wonder, I'm like, wait, is someone planting the ones that are super far fetched to make conspiracy theorists look super crazy, so that even the ones that they're spot on with, they're like, wait, you've got me, you've got me. Oh wait, now you talk and you have care on an island like creating music together, you kind of lost well, you know, Okay, So back to the helicopter. New York Helicopters is the one that manufactured the plane, and the New York Times interviewed like the CEO or whatever of New York Helicopters and he's like, we don't know what went wrong. 00:23:19 Speaker 2: It's like, but that's the thing. 00:23:21 Speaker 3: You can't You sold a great helicopter and you're like, all right, you purchased it, maintenance is now up to you. 00:23:27 Speaker 1: But Easton, I feel like that's on what planet? Do you hear about a maintenance issue resulting in the whole helicopter falling apart? Tell me it seems like you're missing some studs and bolts. 00:23:38 Speaker 2: I would like to know how many how. 00:23:41 Speaker 1: Many tours it did before that happened. 00:23:42 Speaker 3: Yeah, was it its first tour? Or has that thing been in their fleet for five years? It seems sus It just seems weird. Yeah, blades to not be on there's maintenance that. I'm like, you know, maybe you guys didn't do something. 00:23:55 Speaker 1: I mean, I've heard that people do, like when they're trying to mess with somebody, they like, unscrew the lug nuts or whatever on tires. 00:24:06 Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, cut their people cut their brake lines. 00:24:11 Speaker 1: Yeah, it's seeming like that, but in an aircraft. 00:24:15 Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know. 00:24:16 Speaker 1: Let's move on to something a little lighter, which is what's more lighter than freaking white lotus? 00:24:25 Speaker 2: Right? Oh beautiful? 00:24:27 Speaker 1: So SNL did a white Lotus parody? 00:24:30 Speaker 2: Did you see it? 00:24:31 Speaker 1: I watched the clip. 00:24:32 Speaker 2: Did you like it? 00:24:34 Speaker 1: I kind of thought it was really funny. Did you watch it? I just watched called White Lotus. If you guys haven't seen it, you can obviously look it up on the peacock app. 00:24:43 Speaker 2: Yeah, but no, I thought it was I thought it was funny. Who was upset? 00:24:48 Speaker 1: Amy lay would did? So you saw like what she was upset about? 00:24:54 Speaker 2: No, I just saw that she was upset. 00:24:55 Speaker 1: Well, John Ham makes like a little bit of an appearance on the yacht and he plays RFK Junior and they're talking about how they're gonna take floride out of the water and he's going through it in his mind like what will that do to people's teeth? And she's like, uh, flora, I'd for teeth? What's that day or whatever? They just like made a dig, but it was like about hygiene I guess, and she said I did find the SNL thing mean and not funny, such a shame because I had such a great time watching it a couple of weeks ago. Yes, take the piss, for sure, that's what SNL is about, but there must be a clever, more nuanced, less cheap way. And then SNL apologized, I truly don't know how I feel about this because I try to put the shoe on the other foot, and if someone made fun of me like that, I would feel extremely hurt and I would be like, come on, that's like such. 00:25:49 Speaker 2: A like she's like cheap, yeah, like you can come up with it. 00:25:53 Speaker 1: Not clever at all, it's just rude. But at the same time, I feel like everyone's getting so sensitive. 00:26:01 Speaker 3: Yeah, I think I think people just need to be able to take a joke. Like she could have just been like, yeah, that was funny and moved on. 00:26:07 Speaker 2: And I don't know. 00:26:08 Speaker 1: But again, it's about her appearance, so we always talk about how we don't like that, so it's just again nuance. She used the word there's got to be a more nuanced way. I thought the whole bit was absolutely hysterical. I thought it was great and maybe I'm like, it's all good girl, because I'm obsessed with her. I'm like, how could anyone knock you down? But I saw an interview that she thought HBO would not hire her for White Lotus because she's ugly and that's her word. I'm doing quotes air quotes. Yeah, that I did not think they would hire. 00:26:40 Speaker 3: Me because and what's so crazy is when I saw her, I was like, how I loved her because she was so like authentic looking on the screen. 00:26:47 Speaker 2: I was like, I love looking at you. I just love it. 00:26:50 Speaker 1: She like stole my heart. When I say I could not eat, drink sleep after that finale. It devastated me to my core. Yeah, and I did not see it coming. 00:27:03 Speaker 3: No, they really have a good way of just like throwing way out of left field, Like I could have never thought that. 00:27:10 Speaker 1: Well, can I tell you what it's about. I don't know about you guys who also watch, But when you see the first episode of White Lotus, and you always see the body and you know either water it's been at water. Actually I think all three times, but I always fixate on who's the killer rather than who's dead. Yeah, I did not even go there for season three of like, I just immediately said, this is who I think the killer is. I didn't think about who died. 00:27:43 Speaker 2: No, is that weird? Yeah? 00:27:48 Speaker 1: Are you joking? Easton? It's truly offensive. 00:27:52 Speaker 2: It really is a I watched it again. 00:27:55 Speaker 1: You've been My best friend. Madison, who literally does not watch TV, watched it whitead. 00:28:00 Speaker 2: No, it really is good. 00:28:01 Speaker 1: I'll tune into Night White Lotus and then I would rewatch Game of Thrones with you. 00:28:06 Speaker 2: Let's do that. I would be down phenomenal. Okay, are you. 00:28:13 Speaker 1: Seeing the new AI like Barbie? 00:28:16 Speaker 2: Yes, thing going around that everybody's posting of themselves. 00:28:19 Speaker 1: Yeah, did you see ours? 00:28:21 Speaker 2: No? 00:28:21 Speaker 1: Okay, just wait, Oh god, I'm gonna show. You're gonna die. But Lebron James has become the first male athlete to have a Ken doll. The doll feature are we clappy? 00:28:32 Speaker 2: No, that's dope. I think that's way cool. 00:28:34 Speaker 3: And everything behind it, like the uh he got, like the I promised wristband. 00:28:38 Speaker 2: There's like a lot of cool things that come with it, he says. 00:28:40 Speaker 1: The doll features the Los Angeles Lakers basketball player in his pregame fashion and reflects his height. It's an inch taller than the standard Ken doll. Hot. Come on, Barbie, are you kidding me? Do you know what I would have given back in the day? 00:28:56 Speaker 2: Have a Kobe doll? 00:28:57 Speaker 1: Oh my god, let's not get it. Let's started. Don't get me started. It includes an Ohio patch because isn't that where he's from? Okay, and a crown patch on one sleeve in the number twenty three his basketball jersey number on the other, and on the back it says Lebron boldly printed, along with the phrase just a kid from Akron. That is adorable. 00:29:22 Speaker 2: Yeah, no, it's it's a cool doll. 00:29:24 Speaker 3: And I mean what people are saying is if you can get your hands on when they're going to be a collector. Well, shit, look it up, dude, I already did, trust me already I looked. 00:29:32 Speaker 2: Yeah. They were sixty bucks brand new, and right you buy one. They were sold out. 00:29:38 Speaker 1: Oh okay, that's fine. 00:29:39 Speaker 2: Yeah, and now on stock X like they're selling for one sixty buy it. Okay, I'll buy it today. 00:29:47 Speaker 1: All right. Under the jacket, the doll wears a shirt that reads we are Family, a nod to the Stars Foundation. The doll includes accessories like a basketball, headphones, and sneakers. You guys, this doll sounds what hot. 00:30:03 Speaker 2: It's a cool doll. 00:30:04 Speaker 1: I think we need to get it for ocean, But then you got to keep it in original. 00:30:07 Speaker 2: Package to open it. Then you might as well just not buy it. 00:30:11 Speaker 1: Yeah, And I remember Mom would buy Collector barbies and I'd go in her closet and just stare at them how badly I wanted to open them. 00:30:18 Speaker 2: Yep. 00:30:18 Speaker 1: And where do you think they are? 00:30:19 Speaker 3: Now? 00:30:20 Speaker 2: In a storage unit still shut. 00:30:22 Speaker 1: I don't even know where they are. 00:30:23 Speaker 2: Yep. Aren't you glad that you got to have so much fun with someone? 00:30:25 Speaker 1: I wish I would have. I wish I would have been able to. But then I look back on my Spice Girl barbies and I'm like, dang it, I should have left them in the box. 00:30:32 Speaker 2: You always won't what you can't have. 00:30:34 Speaker 1: Okay, are you ready to see Easton? You're gonna die. So basically what you do is you send you just like send, you put photos. 00:30:48 Speaker 2: Of yourself in it, right, and then it just generates. 00:30:52 Speaker 1: So let me show you. Okay, so this is the photo that we sent him you. Oh boy, So we submitted the photo Easton and then you kind of have to like tell it what to do right, like what to add the accessories? So here's yours. Oh my gosh, you've got a pit bull. 00:31:16 Speaker 2: I've got a pit bull. 00:31:18 Speaker 1: Some carkis right, car keys, Yeah. 00:31:21 Speaker 2: I kind of like it. I kind of want that doll. 00:31:25 Speaker 1: It's a good one, by the way, though. Love the nikes. I think I have those. 00:31:28 Speaker 2: Jordan's. Yeah, those, I like that whole outfit. 00:31:31 Speaker 1: Now, I got a few, and I can't tell which one I like the most. So here's mine, host of give them la la. I also have Jordan ones on love it. But then I have ones with Ocean. I have a breast pump, a chic bag. Here's me an ocean, and we both have babies. 00:31:52 Speaker 2: I love that I wish. 00:31:55 Speaker 1: And then here's the final one. Some of the ones that I've seen, they look IDENTI cold to the people I have, And you know what, these probably look identical to me, just depending on when I've been injected and who's injected me. I wear many faces depending on who's holding the needle. Oh there was this woman who was like, I did a TikTok because I'm active on TikTok now, sort of love it. And when I say I'm new here, I was sending someone my videos to post on TikTok because I don't I didn't know how to do it, so now like I'm personally doing it. So I did this one about sleep and it was morning, so I was extremely swollen because that's just what happens to me. My lips are so big, and I was looking at them and I was like, damn, I love how banking look like I'm trying to go. I'm trying to go get them injected. There was one comment the comment section on TikTok is harsh. 00:32:54 Speaker 2: Dude, No, they're violent in there. 00:32:56 Speaker 1: Yeah, Like I feel way better about myself when I'm on Instagram, which is I'm saying something. I'm like, take you back to the gram with all the grandmas. They're kind. But this old woman actually she was older. It was like stop. I was confused why she was even there, Like how, yeah, how do you even know what TikTok is? Graham? She said, you need to stop touch your lips, okay, and like everyone started getting into it. That's my favorite part is when one person says something and then. 00:33:22 Speaker 3: And then they're all arguing with each other about what you're doing, and You're like I'm not even here right now, what the hell? 00:33:29 Speaker 1: But I wanted to say life is so silly while you're telling me to stop injecting, I'd like to tell you to start. And then I was like, that's rude. I'm not going to say it. 00:33:39 Speaker 2: Yep. Then your backlash is ten times heavier. 00:33:41 Speaker 1: I know they can say whatever they want, but we can't say shit. It's very intense. 00:33:46 Speaker 2: Bite those lips. 00:33:48 Speaker 1: How do you feel about Coachella? 00:33:52 Speaker 2: I don't feel like I until I feel about Cochilla right there. Ya on. 00:33:57 Speaker 3: I don't think I'm missing out on anything, and I feel like it's like the new cool thing to do for everyone. 00:34:02 Speaker 2: Is to like show how miserable Coachella is. 00:34:06 Speaker 3: Yeah, Like I never see like videos of like the music anymore, like people walking cute. 00:34:15 Speaker 2: At each other. It's like two hours for the fucking bathroom, and it's like you knew what you were getting into. You knew well. 00:34:22 Speaker 1: Kylie Jenner attended with Timoshy, with Timothy Shalome. They were like all over each other. Whatever. Charlie XCX, you guys, the amount of times that I talk about her and call her Charlie. 00:34:39 Speaker 3: Sex, Charlie sex should be it I saw her performance, might as well be Charlie Sex. 00:34:47 Speaker 1: She's really not my type of person, but it just does not you know. I went last year after not going to a music festival in so many years, and I went fully pregnant, and I will say I had a really good time. But if you were to say, if you didn't go, would you feel like you were Did you have such a great time that you feel like you would have missed out if you hadn't gone. No, and it was a really great time. But I also could have said, like, but I could have stayed home. 00:35:17 Speaker 2: Yeah, Like it was take it or leave it for me, right. 00:35:21 Speaker 1: There are certain moments that I'm like, oh my god, I had the best time. That was amazing. This was great. If I wouldn't have gone, that would have been great too. But Lady Gaga did a two hour performance. 00:35:32 Speaker 2: Damn. You can't go wrong with Lady GGA. 00:35:35 Speaker 1: Everyone loves her. She's like insanely talented. Benson Boone had a surprise cover with Queen guitarist Brian May. 00:35:46 Speaker 2: Oh Yeah, and it was. 00:35:47 Speaker 1: A cover of Bohemian Bohemian rap. This nows and me be way too aware of how I sound Bohemian rap City be nicely done. No one reacted. 00:36:03 Speaker 2: I would have well, that would have been just ea. 00:36:06 Speaker 1: The crowd just sat there. So people are like, maybe they don't know who this is. I don't know. It's it doesn't it doesn't look fun. 00:36:15 Speaker 3: And that's how like it's people are going to like not have fun. 00:36:19 Speaker 2: Now it seems like. 00:36:20 Speaker 1: It just isn't what it used to be. I don't think. And it's and it's not because I'm not drinking anymore. Like I just truly feel like the spirit of it is no longer there. 00:36:32 Speaker 3: Like I said, you didn't see anybody complaining about their tents, the heat or anything like that. They were at Coachella and you just saw them having fun, dancing like girls, like walking with all their friends, like waving like a thing with the art in the back, you know, like there were those videos and that's when I was like dancing. 00:36:48 Speaker 1: I want to feel very content driven. 00:36:52 Speaker 3: Now Now it's like how people are like twenty dollars for this shitty sandwich. 00:36:58 Speaker 2: It's like, what do you knew? You you knew? 00:37:02 Speaker 3: Just eat the sandwich that cost you twenty bucks, don't say anything. Everybody help had to pay the same We all know you know what you got into, eat the sandwich, and then go make good content about having fun. Because all the content about Coachella now today depression. 00:37:17 Speaker 1: I saw a lot of people talk like doing the whole bit of how much fun they're having. But for me, because I kind of know how this works. Fun fun, fun, fun fun while filming. 00:37:28 Speaker 2: Post and then sit in the corner. 00:37:31 Speaker 1: Yes, and that's why I feel like it's just it's like a bit now. 00:37:35 Speaker 2: Yes. 00:37:36 Speaker 1: Whereas when I would go with my friends, we were lucky to get a picture. Everyone else was getting content for us, and then they would send it be like, here you go, here's a picture of that we got of you girls at you know, Coachella, and it's like, oh, thank god, we have this memory. That's so cute. But we were so in the moment. It doesn't seem like anyone's in the moment anymore. 00:37:58 Speaker 2: I think that you just nailed it. 00:38:00 Speaker 1: It makes me really sad. In fact, Hayley Bieber and Justin Bieber just said that they will no longer be attending Coachella. They just don't feel like it's for them anymore. And maybe it's because of where they're at in life. But I can't say that. 00:38:16 Speaker 3: I just feel like Coachella is kind of just going down that route right now. 00:38:20 Speaker 1: Yeah, and then Bernie Sanders made an appearance. He introduced Clara, which I don't know who that is, but he basically like urged people to fight for justice, respect it wholeheartedly. And it's probably an unpopular opinion. I'm like, can we just save this one weekend to not be about politics and what's going on in the world. Everyone needs a moment to just have fun, break away, and I hope that that doesn't come off the wrong way. But I was talking to a friend and she was like, do you ever feel that it's unnatural that human beings are not equipped to handle what's going on at every single moment in time all over the world. And I'm like, well, that's why we're all including me in Constant Hysteria twenty four to seven. Because it's a helicopter clash, it's two planes clydie, it's a war that's broken out. It's well where toddlers in a car accident and dies. It's a shooting the twelfth of the day that he's just heard about. It's devastating, and so. 00:39:35 Speaker 3: Well, we're desensitized now where everybody is just desensitized. And there's a comedian who I absolutely love, Dave Chappelle, and he talks about pretty much just that, and he was like, you know, back in the day, you heard something that was close to you right in the newspaper and it was like, oh, that's something crazy. Now with technology, it's like you see a crash in New York, you see something in another whole different country over in Dubai. You see that they're creating rain and it's like or a shooting anything like that. So it's like, how can you give a crap about something when. 00:40:09 Speaker 2: You know everything? Right? 00:40:11 Speaker 3: So it's like I can't care about a helicopter crash, like this poor family, they're gonna be tomorrow's news with another helicopter crash somewhere else in the world. And that's where you just can't even carry It's just hard to be sensitive to things because it's like it's I know all of it now. 00:40:28 Speaker 2: It's like plane. 00:40:29 Speaker 3: Crashes are gonna happen. I already know there's probably gonna be one this week. Sensitized and so it's like you can't care about anything when you know. 00:40:37 Speaker 2: About everything. 00:40:39 Speaker 1: That's so true. Wow. 00:40:40 Speaker 2: And he's the one who said it. 00:40:41 Speaker 3: He was like, you just can't care about anything anymore because you know about everything. 00:40:45 Speaker 2: Yeah. 00:40:46 Speaker 1: You know, Bernie Sanders had when he was running for president, had his little hub in West Hollywood and it was on the corner of where the shot. 00:40:56 Speaker 2: Yeah, in that diner. 00:40:58 Speaker 1: Yeah, that's exactly right. Yeah, you know, I love me some fucking Bernie Sanders. I'm sorry that called for the F word. 00:41:07 Speaker 2: I'll take it. 00:41:07 Speaker 1: And I'm like, Bernie, can we just like maybe just take a load off for just a minute, just like take a load off. 00:41:12 Speaker 2: Yeah, just come out and be Bernie, just come up. Well he was Bernie, Oh, don't be too much, Bernie. 00:41:20 Speaker 1: And can I tell you Kylie looked very understated. I'm so into her vibe right now. Just like a little hat, white T shirt. 00:41:26 Speaker 2: Right with some jeans on. Yeah. She yeah. I think she just is very happy. It seems like cove it for her. 00:41:32 Speaker 1: Also, something incredible that happened today what U Blue Origin said, it's rocket up with Katy Perry, Gail King, and Jeff Bezos fiance Lauren Sanchez. Took him like eight minutes to get up there. The eight minute flight traveled more than sixty two miles into the atmosphere past the Carman Line, which per Blue Origin, is the internationally recognized boundary of space. Katy Perry said it was like the highest high that she's ever felt. Obviously, I want to do it like it's the highest high. 00:42:10 Speaker 3: You don't say, miss Perry, you don't say no, but like, literally no, literally it's the highest high. 00:42:17 Speaker 1: Yeah, you're right, that's absolutely correct, and it is surrendered to the unknown. Trust I could. I couldn't recommend this experience more. 00:42:25 Speaker 2: How much does it cost? 00:42:26 Speaker 3: Just like a cool five hundred thousand? Fuck, let me get my check book out, fucking bitches. 00:42:31 Speaker 1: And she said she will one be writing a song about it. Is it gonna go? Because I went to space? She? I love her music, but she's always right on the nose, you know, Like her wedding song was like I've never won white. Yeah, and I'm standing here tonight like oh yeah, night. 00:42:49 Speaker 2: And me and my husband and I hope we don't fight. Yeah. 00:42:54 Speaker 1: Yeah, that's what you get for Vegas. Like it's literally verbatim exactly, like there's do. 00:43:03 Speaker 2: You feel like a plastic bag? Is that her? 00:43:07 Speaker 1: Wow? That's pretty deep though, because I often feel like a plastic bag just getting through the wind. Oh and that has a lot of meaning. A plastic bag blowing through the wind hoping to start again recycle. 00:43:23 Speaker 3: Yeah, she really does go really deep, doesn't. 00:43:26 Speaker 1: She also looking like her mind is being wiped clean? 00:43:32 Speaker 2: Right we all are? I think no one's even talking to me, and I'm like, there's severance? Is really here? 00:43:42 Speaker 3: Yeah, terrific, it's like you made this show because I that's true. 00:43:47 Speaker 1: But before I do signe off those speaking of space, if someone gave you the opportunity, would you go. 00:43:53 Speaker 3: I let me put it this way, I would love to. I would need a lot of dramamine. 00:44:00 Speaker 2: You're very sick, and I think i'd throw up. 00:44:04 Speaker 1: I would have to see the rocket ship first, like what, like, what are we talking? How big is this? Because I get claustrophobic there. 00:44:11 Speaker 3: It is like that the ocean gate the little submarine when they went down. 00:44:15 Speaker 2: Even if that thing came back up, I was like, claustrophobic, I'm dead in there. Anyway, No, I would win at the time. 00:44:22 Speaker 1: I think I'd give a hard pass. I'm sorry, I just don't need to see what's up there. I can look it up or down there or down there. I don't need to go up or down. I'm I'm fine here in the middle. 00:44:33 Speaker 3: We're fine at about you know, a couple three hundred feet above sea level. 00:44:37 Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't need to defy gravity. I'm perfectly happy with it. 00:44:41 Speaker 2: I said to be here exactly. 00:44:45 Speaker 1: What's that? What's that movie? 00:44:47 Speaker 2: Though? 00:44:47 Speaker 1: Real quick before we set off where she's like, oh, it's Phoebe from Friends where he talks about gravity. She's like, I don't really feel like I'm being pulled down as much as I'm being pushed. 00:45:00 Speaker 2: That's wow. I do too. I don't feel like I'm being pulled. I feel like somebody just pushing medway we all do. 00:45:05 Speaker 1: Welcome to humanity these days, you guys. On that note, I hope that you have an epic rest of the week. It is hump day. Just two more sleeps until Friday. Enjoy Frye. It's Friya. Thank you for listening to another episode, and we will catch you Monday for the bonus and we will catch you for a regular episode on Wednesday. Catch you next week. Bye. 00:45:28 Speaker 2: Na.
