Speaker 1: Welcome everyone.

00:00:01
Speaker 2: It is the local toenty Dealers KSR postgame show the Kentucky Wildcats when at home against Murray State tonight forty eight to six, covering the spread by half a point in a very long, somewhat cold game, but one that gets Kentucky a victory moves them to four and six on the year. If I'm nine two eight oh twenty two eighty seven, we will take your calls. This is one of those I will freely acknowledge. Kind of boring games with not a lot of storyline, So this is one where I really want to hear from you all.

00:00:36
Speaker 1: If you're not.

00:00:36
Speaker 2: Steve, you have a hard time getting into a postgame show, this feels like the one to do it.

00:00:40
Speaker 1: If I'm nine two eight oh twenty two eighty seven.

00:00:42
Speaker 2: Also, while while this show is gonna be going on, the Kentucky Women are playing against the Louisville Women at Memorial Coliseum, a packed house. It looks like an awesome, awesome environment down on campus right now. Louisville leads Kentucky fifteen to fourteen in the first quarter, but it's it's it's been a good game to start so far, and we will keep you up to date, so let's.

00:01:04
Speaker 1: Get going with the game today.

00:01:07
Speaker 2: I don't know that there's a whole lot that you can take from today's game. I'll give you the things that stood out to me. It was a sluggish game kind of all the way around. I can't say Kentucky played badly, but I also can't say that they played necessarily well. They scored forty eight. Murray State's defense is pretty bad. Most of the six points they gave up were actually kind of on turnovers, So I don't know that you can you can really fault the UK defense for that.

00:01:38
Speaker 1: But it was nice. You got to see some people play that we haven't seen play a lot.

00:01:42
Speaker 2: I thought you saw a lot from the young receivers, hardly Gilmore, Anthony Brown, Stevens. I think that's a good sign for the future because there's I mean, you're almost certainly gonna lose dang Key, you might lose Berry on Brown as well. So to see those guys contribute was nice. You know, I think a lot of the conversation after going to be about Brock, vander Griff and Cutter Bowley. Brock was not great. Uh in the first half, you know, we did he did have twenty four points at halftime. But I thought he made some Obviously, his first two throws were terrible, but even after that made some poor throws, he also made some plays, uh cut her in the second half.

00:02:20
Speaker 1: Thought looked good. You know, nice to see him.

00:02:24
Speaker 2: We hadn't really got we only saw him in that spot situation at Florida.

00:02:29
Speaker 1: Thought he looked good.

00:02:29
Speaker 2: Now, you do have to remember he's playing the second team defense on the second to worst defense in all of Division what's the equivalent of Division two. So I mean that's you know, that's not the highest competition in the world. But thought he looked good. Thought he made good decisions. He actually looked in some ways more comfortable in the pocket than Brock looks. So I thought it was really kind of a good debut. I'll call it a debut for him, even though it wasn't technically his first game. Jamarion Wilcox, it was excellent. I think, you know, going forward, keeping him has to be a priority because I think he has all the makings of being a really, really great running back. Offensive line still had issues, gave up three sacks in the first I think seventeen minutes of the game. Against the team that was last in all of them, in all of Division one, Double A or whatever we go. I guess we called FBS now. They were last and pressures on the quarterback and we gave up three sacks early. That's not a good a good sign at all, but got better as it went on. I thought the quarterback had a lot more time as the game went on.

00:03:37
Speaker 1: On defense.

00:03:38
Speaker 2: I mean, you know, generally we're able to keep Murray State outside of the one drive in the third quarter, which Billy I have to say, I've watched a lot of Kentucky football. I'm not gonna say it was the worst football game I've ever seen, because I was at the Kentucky Indiana three to zero game many years. But that drive in the third quarter that Murray State had, which I think was eighteen plays, but there were nine flags on the drive that might have been my least favorite football drive in the history of the sport.

00:04:10
Speaker 3: Was it five consecutive plays with a penalty.

00:04:12
Speaker 2: Seven seven consecutive penal, seven consecutive plays where they threw a flag.

00:04:17
Speaker 1: I think they picked one up on the on.

00:04:18
Speaker 2: The sixth play, but seven consecutive plays where they threw a flag I'm not sure that I've ever disliked anyone more than I disliked the officials during that play, not because they were cheating, just because it was like, can we just stop, like you all realize this is over right?

00:04:35
Speaker 1: It was. It was awful. I mean it was awful.

00:04:37
Speaker 2: Even the one they picked up they called potentially grounding and it wasn't even close to grounding. The the guy was not in the pocket. He threw it thirty yards downfield and there was a guy there. Like the three elements, Billy, he didn't complete.

00:04:51
Speaker 1: Any of them.

00:04:52
Speaker 3: I'd say we didn't have the A crew the officiating team.

00:04:55
Speaker 2: I think we didn't have the A crew of of the announcing either. You know how many people they said on the court are on the on the field that the staff really likes him.

00:05:06
Speaker 1: I think they said that about seventeen people on the TV broadcast, oh so radio.

00:05:11
Speaker 2: But with all that said, you know, look, Kentucky just need to win this game, not get any more injuries.

00:05:17
Speaker 1: I thought it was it was fine. I mean, I thought it was a fine game.

00:05:21
Speaker 2: Nothing to I don't think for me, it's not anything that makes me any more worry. But it's also not anything that makes me any happier. Next week they're going to go to Texas, and you know, my initial inclination is to completely write them off. But that's what I did at Old Miss and they won. That's what I did at Tennessee and they were really competitive in that game. So so who knows. And then you know, you get Louisville in the final game, which I think is is While it doesn't have an effect on making a Bowl game, I think it is kind of important for this fan base going into the offseason what happens against the Cardinals.

00:06:00
Speaker 1: You know, we have we've we've owned them, and this year I don't.

00:06:05
Speaker 2: Think beating Louisville will will cure what ails the team this year. I think a lot of fans kind of were over that after the win last year. But I do think you lose that game, especially if you lose in a way that is embarrassing, it could be it could be pretty bad. Hey, if I'm nine two eight h twenty two eighty seven, Louisville leads by one point right now. On the Kentucky women's team, these officials are taking the view of I think letting letting these teams physically assault each other do you have this game on like they just they are just let there's gonna be all out trench warfare here in a minute. They don't call any fouls. I mean, look at that bullet she's got thrown to the ground. No call, uh, but we will keep you up to date. Take your calls. I'd like to hear what you think. Not even so much about this game. You can call about the game if you want, but just the program where we go from here, and.

00:06:56
Speaker 1: Also shout out to Kentucky fans.

00:06:58
Speaker 2: By the end of the game, it was empty, but there were more fans there than I thought there'd be.

00:07:02
Speaker 1: To be quite honest with you, I thought it was gonna be dead empty.

00:07:06
Speaker 2: When we first started the pregame show at the bar, it had all the makings of no one was gonna be there. But then by the end of the show bar was full, and I think the eight people ended up going to the stadium, although they did I think go home before it was over for a lot of them. Eight fi ive' nine two eight oh twenty two eighty seven. We will take your calls. Cats get a forty eight to six win, we'll talk about it next.

00:07:28
Speaker 1: This is the local Toy Dealers KSR post game Show. Welcome back.

00:07:33
Speaker 2: It is the Local Toy Dealers KSR Postgame Show. Kentucky women struggling with turnovers eight early to start the game. They are still up or they are down three to Louisville. Florida takes the lead on LSU after LSU fumbles a kickoff return. Florida leads LSU twenty to thirteen. No big upsets really as of yet in college football today. The big game of course tonight is is Georgia and Tennessee.

00:08:00
Speaker 1: I will say to.

00:08:00
Speaker 2: You, you know, a good sort of look at, Hey, how is this fan base field right now?

00:08:09
Speaker 1: Would be the phone lines we still have, we have a couple opening, we're just starting.

00:08:14
Speaker 2: That's not First of all, it's not a great sign for Billy and I having to do this show.

00:08:18
Speaker 1: This could be one of the shorter postgame shows of all time.

00:08:21
Speaker 2: But it's also I think a statement of I don't want to say apathy, but there may be a little apathy right now on UK football. I think part of people being so excited about the basketball team, you know, I think that may be part of it. So hopefully you'll you'll join us. Hey, if I'm not two eight oh twenty two eighty seven. We do have some ond so let's get started.

00:08:44
Speaker 3: Who's up first, Billy, Yeah, Jimmy's on first.

00:08:46
Speaker 1: Jimmy, go ahead, Jimmy.

00:08:50
Speaker 4: Hey, Hey, guys, Jimmy loves you, guys, even Billy, even Billy.

00:08:56
Speaker 1: Hey.

00:08:56
Speaker 5: That that's that.

00:08:57
Speaker 6: Driving the third period there, Matt was unbelievable.

00:09:01
Speaker 5: You know, I've never seen that many flags since I.

00:09:03
Speaker 4: Drove by a Trump rally right before the election.

00:09:07
Speaker 2: All Right, Jimmy less comic relief, right, like just just like a regular conversation, you know, like we don't need it doesn't need to be stand up?

00:09:19
Speaker 1: Is he gone? He's still on? He hung up?

00:09:25
Speaker 2: Okay, yeah, I mean I was a little bit like, uh, what is it the guy on Seinfeld who would do?

00:09:32
Speaker 1: Who did the stand up? But Jerry what was his name? All right? Come on, what is his name? Baca? You know he wanted to do he wanted to suit? What Billy, did you watch Seinfeld?

00:09:43
Speaker 3: I've watched some, not all of them, and I wanted to go.

00:09:47
Speaker 1: To he wanted a suit or was it dinner? I don't remember. He was on a few times. Anyway, that guy was trying to be him.

00:09:54
Speaker 2: Somebody's gonna remind me of of what his name bach Bala or Manta. Anyway, uh my tempt at remembering is as good.

00:10:01
Speaker 1: As his joke. Who's next, Jason, Jason, Go ahead, Jason.

00:10:07
Speaker 7: Hey, Matt, first time, long time?

00:10:09
Speaker 1: Oh well, what's up?

00:10:10
Speaker 7: Huge Kentucky fan? Yeah, man, he's Kentucky fan. My boys went there. I was there in the nineties, so I've seen the good, better best of Kentucky football. I love the team. I just am a little disappointed today because I wanted to see a lot more of the younger talent, Like I thought they could have put Cutter in the heck of a lot earlier. And also, like you look at the young talent, like like Rodriguez, every time he's touched the ball this year, he's got positive yards and I just.

00:10:38
Speaker 2: Feel but he also makes but he's just he's he's really struggled blocking and you saw that. I don't know if you saw the one play where basically there were two guys even block either one of them and they both sacked.

00:10:52
Speaker 1: They sacked Cutter.

00:10:53
Speaker 2: I think Willie is without question the tight end they have that can make the most plays. But as I understand that blocking is a huge issue there and and some of that was showcased today in the second half when he was when he was playing quite a bit.

00:11:07
Speaker 7: Well see, I thought he rated out pretty well in Tennessee. Maybe I've got misinformation.

00:11:12
Speaker 1: Well, he may have. He may have.

00:11:14
Speaker 2: I'm just telling you if you want to know, if you want to know why we haven't seen him in huge amounts, the block Almost always when it comes to tight ends or receivers. If the question is why didn't they play, you kind of have to look at their blocking.

00:11:30
Speaker 7: Well, I appreciate you guys and go taps.

00:11:32
Speaker 2: Yeah, appreciate the call. I mean he will he's going to be super ten I remember too. I mean that's a true freshman, so I'm not I think he's going to be great. But there was a play at some time in the second half where they ran it was almost like a little bootleg and and Cutter got sacked by two guys, and when they showed the replay rodri somebody missed their block, like somebody wasn't even there. So Willy wasn't supposed to block them both, but he ended up blocking either one of them. And I think when you see that that that's the kind of thing that has kept him from getting minutes. Although I did think he looked good today. I wanted to see a little bit more of the younger guys. But in the second half, Billy, there were people out there playing I had never seen before.

00:12:10
Speaker 1: Right, there were names, did you know?

00:12:12
Speaker 2: There were names that they were calling that I didn't even know were on the team, including the guy who got the interception at the end.

00:12:18
Speaker 3: Yeah, we didn't have him on the death chart on the broadcast, so.

00:12:22
Speaker 1: He didn't have Schultz on the depth show.

00:12:23
Speaker 3: No, I think they had him. There was a couple guys that they did not.

00:12:27
Speaker 2: Yeah, Jackson Schultz, who I learned. I learned his mother is.

00:12:33
Speaker 1: A partner at the law firm that I used to work at. How really, I didn't know he was on the team.

00:12:40
Speaker 2: I do remember that his mother was at the law firm, but I did not know she had a son that was I think when I was at the law firm, he may have been like a little child. And now he's getting the game ending.

00:12:53
Speaker 1: Interception kind of like now, Yeah, I think that's right.

00:12:59
Speaker 2: I also saw but man, one more thing about Jackson Schultz, since he got it, I saw it said that his Well, I want to find him because I like his bio on.

00:13:08
Speaker 1: UK athletics kind of entertained me. I'll do it after this next call. Who's next? Ed?

00:13:14
Speaker 2: Ed?

00:13:14
Speaker 1: Go ahead?

00:13:15
Speaker 8: Ed hey Man, A comment and a question for you. Comment is I think Kentucky did what he was supposed to do today and they didn't struggle and they won, which was I just I just take it as a positive. And then I just I was just wondering, do you know that back in the eighteen hundreds, like eighteen ninety two, that Kentucky went undefeated and not only undefeated, but it wasn't a team that scored a single point on him, and they went seven and old and her nickname was the Immortals.

00:13:55
Speaker 2: I did not know that in eighteen in eighteen ninety two. Do you have who they played in eighteen ninety two, because back then they would literally play like like railroads and stuff like that in games.

00:14:08
Speaker 8: Oh well, it was I just looked it up and I didn't rick the information now, but it was I think one was like the Louisville Athletic Club and then we're just a couple of colleges mixed it. It was.

00:14:27
Speaker 1: Like King I love looking at the old at the old.

00:14:32
Speaker 2: You know, football records back then, because who they played was always kind of funny, like they would play a completely different type of team. Now I'm looking this up and you said eighteen ninety two, this says we went two and four.

00:14:46
Speaker 8: Okay, well then I'm off on the ear. I'm off on the here. But the way I looked it up was did Kentucky ever go undefeated? And it just popped right up?

00:14:55
Speaker 1: Gotcha, the Kentucky ever go underfeed? All right?

00:14:57
Speaker 2: Well, uh, I appreciate to appreciate the call. I would like to see if Kentucky ever went undefeated. I'm sitting here looking did you know the Eastern Kentucky Billy in eighteen ninety three played football as Central Kentucky Universe.

00:15:13
Speaker 3: Hmmm, and they changed their name since then.

00:15:16
Speaker 2: I go to be honest with you, though, it should be Central Kentucky, like Richmond is a lot more central than it is Eastern.

00:15:22
Speaker 3: Yeah, man, Bowling Green's not in the western part of the state.

00:15:25
Speaker 2: In the western part, it's like the It only is like that if you think the state only goes from like London to Madisonville.

00:15:33
Speaker 3: Kentucky State College went undefeated in eighteen ninety eight. According to Wikipedia, they were seven and zero.

00:15:40
Speaker 1: Do you have who they played and now?

00:15:42
Speaker 3: Do not have that? I would like to know who we can see if we can find it.

00:15:46
Speaker 2: Okay, so let me let me get the Jackson Schultz here thing, because I would just I do. I really enjoyed his bio. Here's his bio. This is the guy who made the inding interception. He's played at Kentucky for four years.

00:16:01
Speaker 1: But he didn't know that. Did you know?

00:16:03
Speaker 7: He was?

00:16:03
Speaker 1: He a walk on? He was a He's a preferred walker.

00:16:06
Speaker 9: Yea.

00:16:07
Speaker 2: His dream job is to own a business, so good luck with that. And the person he most admires is his mom. That's very nice. I'm like that as well. But the three words he uses to describe himself are funny, chill, and hyper. I think that's funny because I don't know how billy you can be both chill and hyper.

00:16:28
Speaker 3: Those are opposites.

00:16:30
Speaker 2: But maybe he was being funny insane that he was chilling hyper like he was being ironic. Could that be what Jackson Schultz was doing?

00:16:38
Speaker 3: He's trying to be ironic in the three words to describe in a.

00:16:41
Speaker 2: Three words, which would be really aggressive if Yeah, so, I just don't know how you can be chill and hyper.

00:16:48
Speaker 1: But he got it great. That was a great interception he had at the end. Who's up next?

00:16:52
Speaker 3: Jake is next?

00:16:53
Speaker 1: Jake?

00:16:54
Speaker 2: Go ahead, Jake, Jake Cake, Okay, answer right, Jake takes his time. Adam Adam, go ahead at him.

00:17:11
Speaker 1: Hey, Matt, you know normally, Billy, but you know what we don't. We don't.

00:17:16
Speaker 3: We haven't had a ton of choosing.

00:17:18
Speaker 1: I'm gonna give them time.

00:17:19
Speaker 2: That's right, go ahead, Billy, Adam Adam.

00:17:24
Speaker 4: I wanted to call in glad to know that we were still beating, you know, the Louisville Athletic Club back.

00:17:30
Speaker 7: In eighteen ninety two.

00:17:31
Speaker 4: So y what we were, and Billy, sorry about our Tops. That was an embarrassing homecoming performance.

00:17:40
Speaker 1: And you lost me money.

00:17:42
Speaker 2: I had a five team noon game parlay that all of it hit and then Western loss. So yeah, I'm glad you brought that up. I was pretty mad at Billy about that, but go.

00:17:51
Speaker 4: Ahead, Madam, right there with you. Out of sixteen parlay, Tops were the only one to lose.

00:17:56
Speaker 1: So the Tops that was that should have been a slam dunk right there.

00:18:01
Speaker 4: Yeah, Hey, I don't know if it's I don't I really appreciate what Stoops has done, obviously the winnings coach in the Tege football history, but it's almost it's it's just like it's stale with like the end of the Tubby years. You know, Tubby wasn't doing terrible, but it's it's kind of like we expect more and and really he's the byproduct of his own success, Like he Stoops set the bar high with the success, so now he's not living up to his own success, and it's just like, well, you know, where do we go from here?

00:18:41
Speaker 2: I kind of h I kind of agree with you on that. I mean, there is the staleness of the end of the Tubby era is actually not a bad analogy because I don't feel like Stoops is in the place that Cal was at the end of last year, where I think the majority of the fan base is ready for him to go. I do think it's kind of like the Tubby era, where everyone liked Tubby. There was a loud, vocal people, group of people ready to make a change, but most people didn't necessarily want that, but they did feel like, you know, it's just we keep losing in the second round of the NCAA Tournament as an eight seed, and I just don't know if we can keep doing this. I do wonder to some extent if this is a little bit like that, like you say with Tubby Smith.

00:19:26
Speaker 4: Right right, and that it's not like we're trying to run Stoops off, But it's just more of I think, the face questioning, like what is the next step? Where do we go? You know, next year? Does it look more of the same, or you know, is improvement on the horizon.

00:19:41
Speaker 10: Where we go?

00:19:41
Speaker 1: That's my worry.

00:19:42
Speaker 2: My worry is only about and I appreciate the call. My worry is not like Stoops deserves if you're just looking at the word deserves. Stoops deserves another year and Stoops deserves.

00:19:56
Speaker 1: A chance to kind of write the ship. I do believe that, But.

00:20:01
Speaker 2: There's a difference between deserves and is this going to get better? And that's my concern with the Stoops thing. My concern is not whether he deserves.

00:20:10
Speaker 1: To be here.

00:20:11
Speaker 2: It's does he have the motivation, the desire and the plan to take us into college football's new era college You know, if you listen the morning show, I say this all the time. College football is entering a new era. There's about one more year of sort of fluctuation and then the next year it enters in the twenty twenty five twenty twenty six school year, college sports is going to enter the phase it will be in from now on. And is Mark Stoops ready for that? I think Mark Pope is ready for that. Is Mark Stoops ready for that? That's my question, And it's really a question he has to ask himself, because I think he's certainly capable of doing it, but is he ready to do it? Because we're going to go from zero of revenue sharing to eighteen million dollars and we're going to go from you know, an era where people recruited and developed to an era where you could end up with different players every year. And his Stoops ready for that? And that's only he knows, uh, the answer to that question. Who's up next?

00:21:20
Speaker 3: Taylor?

00:21:21
Speaker 1: Taylor? Go ahead? Taylor?

00:21:24
Speaker 8: Hey, what's up?

00:21:25
Speaker 11: Hey?

00:21:25
Speaker 12: I just want to give a big shout out to LaRue County, the Bowley and the Hornback and Kessinger family. I grew up with them and Cutter's cousins, so it was super fun just hanging out with them during the game and all the LaRue County crowd that was out there supporting Cutter, so I thought he did an awesome job and had a heck of an arm and some throats out there, but yeah, just big shout out to them. A quick question to you, Matt, how do you feel if Brock has a or start to Texas is a Cutter gonna fill in? Is he on deck or or what you think?

00:22:04
Speaker 2: Yeah, although I wouldn't put it past him playing Gavin too. I mean they set him out more as a precaution this week, but I think I think there are three quarterbacks that could, you know, depending on the situation, could see time next week. So I appreciate the call. I wouldn't say Brock is on Locke to ryme next week, but I still think you go with Brock. Here's here's the reason for me. You play Brock if we were playing Texas and then say, you know Texas A and m I think you could make an argument to try Cutter. But we play Louisville in two weeks and we have a shot at beating them, and I think you gotta put the guy in that gives you the best chance to win it. And I think that's still Brock today. That's why I would do it. If they were both games like Texas, where you're where you were huge underdogs, then I could I could get the argument, but we can beat Louisville and we got to put the guy in with the best chance to do it, which I do think at this point is Brock. It's Bonya.

00:23:10
Speaker 1: That's who it was, Billy Oh, it from Seinfeld, Kenny Bonya. Yeah, you need to watch those out.

00:23:16
Speaker 2: He's in like three or four different episodes. He would say it's Gold Jerry Gold.

00:23:19
Speaker 3: Oh, I remember that guy?

00:23:21
Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah.

00:23:21
Speaker 3: Was he a dentist?

00:23:23
Speaker 1: No, No, he was a comedian. Okay, that's what I was saying.

00:23:26
Speaker 2: He was a stand up comedian and he wanted to go, uh to dinner and I don't remember why I needed dinner and then like he only ordered soup and he said it didn't count as dinner anyway.

00:23:37
Speaker 1: No souper. That's a different episode. I know. That's now two references you've done that were not the thing I was.

00:23:43
Speaker 2: There's obviously clearly a lot of people listening, because a lot of people sent me to Bondia answer.

00:23:47
Speaker 1: So that's good.

00:23:48
Speaker 2: Hey, if I'm nine eight OHO twenty two eighty seven. We will take a break. It is halftime for the UK women. Did you get an updated score there, Billy?

00:23:58
Speaker 3: Yeah, they're done by three.

00:23:59
Speaker 2: I believe down by three thirty to twenty seven at halftime. UK Women in Louisville should be a big second half. That game is on the computer. It's on SEC plus if you want to watch it. We will take a break and be right back. It's a local Toy Dealers KSR postgame show. He's a local toy Dealers KSR postgame show. A couple updates. Louisville was a twenty point favorite today on the road at Stanford in an ACC battle. Yes, those teams are in the same conference now and Stanford. Louisville's led big whole game, the whole game, but Stanford has come back. They now have the ball down seven with two and a half minutes to go, driving down the field the Stanford the cardinal Billy trying to uh put some shockways on the Louisville Cardinals. It is a singular cardinal versus a plural cardinal.

00:24:48
Speaker 3: I was kind of hoping Louisville would have a chance to make the ACC championship game when they played Kentucky. But we wouldn't affect that though, Oh we wouldn't.

00:24:58
Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean if they would either be in or out, regardless of what.

00:25:00
Speaker 3: Happened, it'd still be nice to beat them. I did get the win result record of Kentucky State in eighteen ninety eight when.

00:25:08
Speaker 1: I went seven and zero.

00:25:09
Speaker 3: Week one, Kentucky beat Kentucky State eighteen to zero, so they got the win.

00:25:14
Speaker 1: There, so we were both called Kentucky.

00:25:16
Speaker 3: It was Kentucky University versus Kentucky State, and it was eighteen to zero. Then Kentucky State beat Georgetown Week two, twenty eight to zero. Got the win there. School I teach at Kentucky State in Week three beat Company H eighth Massachusetts fifty nine to zero in Lexington.

00:25:35
Speaker 1: Company H eight Massachusetts.

00:25:37
Speaker 3: That's right.

00:25:38
Speaker 1: They had a good squad that year, did they? Yeah? They did. Who played next?

00:25:43
Speaker 3: Week four was a bye, but they got back at at Week five when they played the Louisville YMCA at League Park in Louisville. They won that game sixteen to zero. Week six, Kentucky State beat Center six to zero. That was a close.

00:26:00
Speaker 1: Center was really good back then.

00:26:01
Speaker 2: Center famously, Billy beat Harvard when Harvard was number one in the country. It was called the upset of the Cinch.

00:26:09
Speaker 1: Wow when it happened, did you know that?

00:26:11
Speaker 3: I did not know that?

00:26:12
Speaker 1: All right? What are the other two? All right?

00:26:14
Speaker 3: Week seven Kentucky State got the best of one sixtieth Indiana seventeen to zero. The name of it it is one sixtieth Indiana on.

00:26:23
Speaker 1: November eight, One sixtieth Indiana. Yep.

00:26:26
Speaker 3: Back in eighteen ninety eight.

00:26:28
Speaker 2: That means, all right, somebody, this is what the tax machine is for seven seven two seven, four five two five.

00:26:34
Speaker 1: Why was there a team.

00:26:35
Speaker 2: Called one sixtieth of Indiana? Are there sixty counties in Indiana? Could it be like one county of Indiana?

00:26:43
Speaker 3: That would be a weird way to pose it as one sixtieth even if there were sixty counties.

00:26:49
Speaker 1: That's a great name, right, what's the last Well?

00:26:51
Speaker 3: And there was one more game, and that was Week eight when Kentucky State put a thirty six to zero beat down on Newcastle Athletic Club.

00:27:00
Speaker 1: New Castle? Is that like for that could be from England? Right?

00:27:04
Speaker 3: No, No, but one sixtieth Indiana.

00:27:07
Speaker 1: Schedules back then one sixtieth.

00:27:09
Speaker 3: Of Indiana, Louisville YMCA.

00:27:11
Speaker 1: What was the name of the one in Massachusetts.

00:27:13
Speaker 3: Company h eighth Massachusetts.

00:27:17
Speaker 2: Wow, that's great, I love it. Apparently Eastern Kentucky University.

00:27:22
Speaker 1: I didn't know this.

00:27:23
Speaker 2: Billy was originally supposed to be in Prestonsburg, which is why it was named Eastern Kentucky University. But for some reason they changed the location, but then not the name. How about that seems like and I said, Bonya, It's Banya. That's right. Thank you for pointing that out. I pronounced it wrong. The dentist on Seinfeld. By the way, Billy was played by Brian Cranston of Breaking Back.

00:27:47
Speaker 3: Ah see, I was. I was in the That's what I was thinking of.

00:27:50
Speaker 1: See, we learn so much during the course of a show.

00:27:55
Speaker 3: Who's up next, Ryan, Ryan?

00:27:57
Speaker 1: Go ahead? Ye yeah, Ryan, you got the cigarettes? Yeah.

00:28:07
Speaker 5: I just wanted to say that that that one sixtieth Indiana team was really good.

00:28:12
Speaker 1: However, I know, yeah, the Louisville.

00:28:15
Speaker 5: The Louisville YMCA team that year was really hard to guard. They had a really quick secondary. There was a lot going on there and uh, anyway, my point was to get back to serious here. I thought that cal sucking had a whole lot to do with Stoops being so popular. We were so done with basketball and watching them lose the teams in the first round when they're out talenting everybody, and football was like it was, you know, it was fun. And now I think the shoes on the other foot, I think I think Pope's got it going on, and uh and Stoops don't and I hate it for the football. And you didn't answer the guy earlier like where do we go from here?

00:29:04
Speaker 8: Matt?

00:29:04
Speaker 5: What happens?

00:29:05
Speaker 11: Man?

00:29:05
Speaker 2: Well, I mean, first of all, I appreciates call. I think the cal Perry point is not a bad one. I actually think that's a pretty good point. I think there was a lot of frustration with cal Perry and then that led to people sort of finding joy in football, and that probably helped a lot of Mark's popularity. I think that's a I think that is a very very valid point. Where do we go from here? I think, I mean it's up to Mark. It's whatever Marx wants to do.

00:29:34
Speaker 1: Ultimately.

00:29:35
Speaker 2: I mean, they're not gonna fire him. I don't think they should, but they're definitely not going to So it just depends on what he wants to do.

00:29:43
Speaker 1: And we'll see. Florida just scored, so they're gonna.

00:29:46
Speaker 2: Beat LSU, and LSU, had they won tonight, was probably gonna hit a good chance to kind of back into the SEC championship game. Not now, Florida gonna gonna get the win. Who's up next, Scott, Scott, go ahead, Scott, Hey, Matt.

00:30:07
Speaker 5: Jack then can you hear me?

00:30:11
Speaker 1: Matt? Yes? Go ahead?

00:30:12
Speaker 6: Sorry, sorry, I did not expect all the Jackson Schultz talk to start the postgame show, But there was one thing about him that I thought you might find interesting. If you remember, several years ago, there was on the Seneca Park golf course, there was the accident where a drunk driver hit the golf cart and killed him. Man, do you remember that?

00:30:35
Speaker 1: Okay? I vaguely remember that.

00:30:37
Speaker 6: Yes, So I'm almost one hundred percent sure that the man that was killed was Jackson Schultz's father.

00:30:46
Speaker 1: Is that right? Okay?

00:30:47
Speaker 6: And I just yeah, So I'm just really really happy.

00:30:51
Speaker 1: I didn't know it, and I didn't know his father had passed away.

00:30:54
Speaker 2: I did not know it was that so exactly right, even more reason to celebrate that.

00:31:00
Speaker 1: That's a cool moment at the end of games.

00:31:01
Speaker 7: Like this.

00:31:02
Speaker 2: For a kid like that to not only get in, but to have a play like that and to get to get celebrated on this show.

00:31:07
Speaker 1: Uh, that's very cool, right, that's all I have.

00:31:12
Speaker 2: Thanks appreciate it, that's uh yeah, I do vaguely remember that happening now. And uh that's a that's a really really sad story. So eight five to nine two eight oh twenty two eighty seven. What I was saying there is Stanford has the ball. It's fourth and one. Uh, they needed there at the twenty yard line, trying to get a first down to keep this game going against Louisville.

00:31:33
Speaker 1: Louis has been so weird this year.

00:31:35
Speaker 2: They win at Clemson definitively, but you know they've they've barely beaten a couple bad teams, and now they have this performance against Stanford. All the guys open, touchdown, Stanford, touchdown, Stanford, Billy do you go for two down one on the road?

00:31:51
Speaker 1: You gotta go for two?

00:31:52
Speaker 7: Right?

00:31:52
Speaker 3: Well, they're at home, right, so.

00:31:55
Speaker 2: But you're playing like a much better team and seven, yeah, you're two, Vin, you're playing a.

00:32:02
Speaker 1: Much better team.

00:32:04
Speaker 3: You go for this, right, Normally the formula is your home.

00:32:08
Speaker 2: They're gonna care, they're gonna kick. I wouldn't do that. I would boy, that's a heck of a throw by that quarterback. He got nailed and he let it go for a twenty five yard touchdown pass. Gutsy call to fourth and one, they throw it twenty five yards down the field.

00:32:22
Speaker 1: Who's up there?

00:32:23
Speaker 3: Butler?

00:32:24
Speaker 1: Butler? Go ahead?

00:32:25
Speaker 10: Butler, Hey, my long time no talk.

00:32:29
Speaker 2: Boy, thank you for calling. By the way, he bout missed that extra point, but go ahead.

00:32:36
Speaker 10: I didn't get to watch the game of at the hospital, even in my mother in law. But it didn't really bother me that I missed the game. I guess because it was against Murray, you know, I guess that big of a deal now Texas. I'll be tuned into, you know, in Louisville, of course.

00:32:53
Speaker 4: But I wonder how many pick out there's like.

00:32:55
Speaker 8: Me on that.

00:32:56
Speaker 1: But I think there was a batch. I think there was a batch.

00:32:59
Speaker 2: I mean, I you know, I have a lot of I mean, obviously I care and the people around the thing, but I have most of my close friends in the world are kind of casual UK fans, right, They don't they don't sort of live it and breathe it like you and I would. And I talked to a lot of them to see what they were doing, uh tonight, and none of them have watched the game.

00:33:17
Speaker 1: So I do think that you're right.

00:33:19
Speaker 2: I think this was not I think a lot of people were fine missing it, right.

00:33:25
Speaker 10: Yeah, I'm the same way. I just I don't a lot of it. I think is Hope just has all of us so infused with that well, that it is just and that it's been a horrible season for course football was. But second thing, uh you know, I mean I call this Butler, that's actually my last name, my first name. But now do we have a Butler on the basketball team and this jerseys number one?

00:33:49
Speaker 1: I got to get me one of those you have to get.

00:33:53
Speaker 2: You gotta get it because that's not gonna're right, that's not gonna happen very much.

00:33:58
Speaker 10: Exactly. And first of all, I wanted to ask h.

00:34:05
Speaker 2: That's all right, Well you can do it next time, Butler. I appreciate the call that you gotta get to Jersey.

00:34:10
Speaker 1: Yes you do.

00:34:11
Speaker 2: It's like, uh, there was a guy on the Bears that was a Jones and I got a Jersey many many years ago. So you gotta do you gotta do it. If it's if there's a butler on the UK team, Uh, you gotta do it.

00:34:22
Speaker 1: Who's up next, Kyle? Kyle? Go ahead, Kyle, turn it right down down, Kyle. Who are what's up? Yeah?

00:34:32
Speaker 13: I'm back. Well, first, before I get the soups, I want to apologize for a caller that made a nasty phone call to you a week and a half ago, Chaff from Chicago.

00:34:45
Speaker 1: Wow, you don't have to apologize. I mean you wouldn't you that did it?

00:34:47
Speaker 8: Like?

00:34:48
Speaker 1: So it's okay, I mean, you know I.

00:34:50
Speaker 13: Do, Matt Man, I gotta apologize.

00:34:53
Speaker 4: That's my brother.

00:34:57
Speaker 1: And that's you, that's your brother.

00:35:00
Speaker 13: That's my big brother. I'm Kyle from Chicago. That was Schaf from Chicago that called it in there and disrespect to you like that?

00:35:06
Speaker 14: Did I did?

00:35:10
Speaker 13: I was right next to him. I told him to stop doing it. He wouldn't listen to me, So I apologize.

00:35:14
Speaker 2: Well, that's very nice of you, but you know we can't all be. It's not our fault how our brothers turn out all the time.

00:35:20
Speaker 13: So yeah, he's turning out the wrong way. So again, I'm sorry, But I do want to give you a little background of what we're what we're about. So our dad is from Harlan County. He went to Everards and our nephew, Yes, and our our nephew Jonah played with Trent Noah on the Harlan County basketball team. You went, You went to high school with my oldest brother, Kevin's wife, Jessica.

00:35:50
Speaker 1: What's her like? What was her maiden name?

00:35:55
Speaker 13: Her last The only last thing I knew of her was co Coe. But I she said that she went to high school with you.

00:36:02
Speaker 1: I that may be true.

00:36:03
Speaker 2: I don't know that last name, But if she said she did, I'm sure she did.

00:36:07
Speaker 13: Middlesbrough wasn't that big, right, And I just I'm just I'm just letting you know all this because it's more of a smaller world than you think it is, all the way up here in Chicago.

00:36:17
Speaker 2: Well there you go from Harlan County to a wife from Middlesbrough, to two brothers living in Chicago, one of whom was not very nice and the other one's nice.

00:36:27
Speaker 1: The world is a small It's a small world. Thank you very much, sir. I appreciate it.

00:36:32
Speaker 6: Yeah.

00:36:32
Speaker 13: Can I get on? Can I get on stups real quick?

00:36:35
Speaker 1: Yeah? For sure?

00:36:38
Speaker 13: Okay. I know you said bring him back for a year. I get it. He's done a lot in fourteen years. I don't want to start over. I know you don't. But are we gonna keep giving him a pass for no?

00:36:49
Speaker 9: No?

00:36:49
Speaker 1: Let me be clear, let me be clear.

00:36:51
Speaker 2: I'm not saying yeah, I'm not well, but okay, those are two different questions. So I'm not just saying just bringing back for a year. I don't want him to come back unless he's committed to getting Kentucky football into this new era, which I think is a three or four year proposition. I do not think it's a one year proposition because of the changes that are coming to the sport. The question of are we just gonna be accepting of a Music City Bowl, that's a different question, okay, because we're not going. I think what's unacceptable is what we've done this year. Now, more broadly, is like going to the Music City Bowl an acceptable standard for UK football?

00:37:32
Speaker 1: You know, we may have disagreements about that.

00:37:35
Speaker 2: I think in this new sec going seven and five or eight and four is gonna be a hell of a hard thing to do, and if you do it at Kentucky, I'm generally gonna be satisfied if you are consistently six and six, seven and five, eight and four, you about once every three or four years, are going for nine and three, ten and two. That's what I want if you if you're expt dictation is we need to be better than seven and five every year. I just don't know how you think that's gonna happen here on a regular basis.

00:38:08
Speaker 1: But I do understand, sir, there are people that believe that.

00:38:13
Speaker 2: Oh I hung up, Okay, appreciate the call, small world, right small?

00:38:19
Speaker 1: Fourth and ten. Now for Louisville, they're in a unique spot.

00:38:22
Speaker 2: They're at midfield, Billy with eleven seconds to go, but it's fourth and ten. They go for it and don't get it. You give Stamford a chance, like to make a play and maybe kick a long field goal. So I don't know what they're gonna do here fourth and ten. So they're gonna punt, So this game's gonna go to overtime. Billy thirty five, thirty.

00:38:39
Speaker 3: Five, Yeah, I hate that from brom Just thrown out, get out of bounds, get the first down, kick the field goal.

00:38:45
Speaker 2: But they didn't do that, and now they're gonna head the overtime on the UK Louisville Women. Right now it is thirty four to thirty Louisville, six minutes to go in the third quarter.

00:38:55
Speaker 1: We will keep you up today.

00:38:57
Speaker 2: We're gonna take a break and come back for our final segment eighty seven.

00:39:01
Speaker 1: This is the Local Toy Dealers KSR Postgame Show. Welcome back. It is the Local Toy Dealers KSR Post game Show.

00:39:09
Speaker 2: All right, So, Billy, those two teams that that Kentucky played, what were they again.

00:39:14
Speaker 3: One sixtieth Indiana.

00:39:17
Speaker 1: Yeah, and then Company H eight Massachusetts. Yeah, something like that. Yeah, they were military units.

00:39:25
Speaker 3: Okay.

00:39:26
Speaker 2: One sixtieth Indiana was a military unit in the Spanish American War.

00:39:33
Speaker 1: Wow, Wow, it's right, and we beat them.

00:39:37
Speaker 2: And then the H whatever it was Company H eighth Massachusetts.

00:39:43
Speaker 1: That's it.

00:39:44
Speaker 2: Also a Massachusetts Militia regiment.

00:39:49
Speaker 1: Huh.

00:39:49
Speaker 3: So we played took it to them.

00:39:52
Speaker 2: A military unit from the Spanish American War and a Massachusetts militia regiment in football?

00:39:59
Speaker 1: How about that?

00:40:00
Speaker 2: And they Stamford has a fifty seven yard field goal a tip. Louisville went for it, didn't get it. Stanford ran a quick play and now they will kick from fifty seven yards to try to beat Louisville instead of going to overtime. This would be an amazing line.

00:40:16
Speaker 1: Louisville is off sides, so fifty two yards? What are terrible off sides? Right there?

00:40:23
Speaker 2: Bow?

00:40:24
Speaker 1: Well, Jeff Bromm is losing it. He's absolutely losing it, Billy.

00:40:29
Speaker 2: I feel like we have to stay here before we go to calls, because I would let if they lost this game with the hubris of Jeff Brohm to go for it with eleven seconds when he should have punted it, and then Stanford doing the smart thing and just checking down and calling time out. Now, a fifty two yard field goal, I'm I will take glee, Billy if they.

00:40:49
Speaker 3: Make against two and seven Stanford, who had twelve people, and.

00:40:55
Speaker 2: There's no one at this game, no one but I hope that no one could storm the f If this kick goes in, Billy, all right, the snap is up, kick is up.

00:41:09
Speaker 1: Good. Louisville goes down. Wow, Louisville loses. Unbelievable. What a loss.

00:41:20
Speaker 2: One of the all time choke jobs. Lov was up like twenty in the fourth quarter and went for a hail.

00:41:27
Speaker 1: Mary in Law. Wow. Unbelievable.

00:41:32
Speaker 2: That is if you I'm sure you're not watching the ACC network, but if you were, that is one of the all time chokey losses I've ever seen.

00:41:42
Speaker 1: All Right, So you gotta have some joy after today?

00:41:44
Speaker 13: Right?

00:41:44
Speaker 1: Game? Wasn't that much fun? That was a lot of fun. Who's up next? Ethan? Is next? Ethan? What's up Ethan?

00:41:53
Speaker 5: Hey?

00:41:54
Speaker 14: Mat, I got a question for you. Who would you rather have Rock Vandergriff or Devin Leary?

00:42:00
Speaker 1: That's a good question.

00:42:04
Speaker 2: Hm, Well, I think Brock has more upside, but I think Devin Leary.

00:42:16
Speaker 1: Was better than Brock has been so far. Does that make sense?

00:42:22
Speaker 14: I totally agree with that. And also, do you think dan Key and barry On Brown will stay?

00:42:28
Speaker 2: I don't think dan Key will because I think he will get drafted, so because of that, I don't know about Barryon.

00:42:37
Speaker 1: I really don't. I think Barryon.

00:42:40
Speaker 2: I think that Barryon and the offensive staff it's been kind of I don't want to say love hate because I think they get along fine. But I think it's been hot and cold, so I think it will depend. I don't know. To be honest, I get if you made me make a bet, i'd say no. But I don't think that's certain, Whereas I think Dane I would be some if he doesn't go, because.

00:43:01
Speaker 1: I think he'll be drafted.

00:43:04
Speaker 5: I app appreciate that.

00:43:05
Speaker 2: I appreciate the call. Uh eight nine twenty two eighty seven. Wow, fear the tree. I'm sorry. That was one of the all time losses.

00:43:15
Speaker 3: Seventeen points in seven.

00:43:17
Speaker 1: Minutes, seventeen points in seven minutes.

00:43:19
Speaker 2: And then the fact that they tried to throw that hell Mary and it backfired.

00:43:26
Speaker 1: Unbelievable. Who's up next?

00:43:28
Speaker 3: Jacob is next?

00:43:30
Speaker 1: Oh?

00:43:30
Speaker 2: By the way, they committed back to back penalty, I didn't see the first penalty, Billy. They committed a personal foul on the penalty before that put them in field goal range.

00:43:41
Speaker 3: To put them at fifty seven, and then the thing.

00:43:43
Speaker 2: Yeah, and then a penalty. And by the way, he wouldn't have made it from fifty seven. It was fit like he would. He barely got it over. Unbelievable. I mean, that is one of the worst losses I can remember a team getting.

00:43:54
Speaker 1: Who's up next, Jacob? Jacob puts up Jacob?

00:43:59
Speaker 15: Just pick up man?

00:44:04
Speaker 7: Hey man.

00:44:04
Speaker 15: I don't want to be too negative because I've been on such a high this week after the basketball game. But like I got two things, by the way, But with the offensive lineman, they struggled with Murray State at times, and I'm just wondering, like, how did these guys even end up on an SEC roster if they can't even block Murray State? You know what I mean?

00:44:23
Speaker 1: Uh?

00:44:24
Speaker 2: Well, I mean I I don't know the answer that question. I think I I it was not a good performance at the beginning. Now, let me be fair, it was a tough start. The offensive line played much better as a game win.

00:44:35
Speaker 16: On Yeah, yeah, you're right, It's just I couldn't help but wonder and also, man, I don't know if it's all too lane blowout Navy thirty five to nothing, And I just wonder if you in the back of your mind saying like if we end up with the Stoops for another year or two summer all goes to like Arkansas, you know after this year, Well that's exactly turned them around.

00:44:56
Speaker 2: Like, yeah, that's exactly why I say what I say about That's why I would say to Mark Stoops, I only really want you back if you want to be here and want to put three or four years into this, because you're exactly right, There would be nothing worse than having him come back, stay a year, leave right before this big transition in college football, and in the interim some aer all goes somewhere else, you know what I mean, sir, Like that would be the worst scenario.

00:45:26
Speaker 1: So yeah, I agree, So we got.

00:45:30
Speaker 2: If I'm Mark, I would say to Mark Stoops, if I'm Mitch Man, are you feeling four years? Because if you are, let's get behind you and do it. But if you're not, just having a year really doesn't do us any good. And I think that's where we are right now.

00:45:48
Speaker 16: I totally agree, man that I love Stoops, so I appreciate everything he's done for us. But if, like you said, if he's not really feeling it, I hope he makes the right decision.

00:45:55
Speaker 7: Whatever it is.

00:45:56
Speaker 1: I appreciate it, appreciate the call. I can't believe I can.

00:46:03
Speaker 3: We got to watch it live.

00:46:04
Speaker 1: I'm telling you, that's like that cheered me up way too much. All right, let's do uh how many you got on there?

00:46:09
Speaker 3: We'll get four on the line.

00:46:10
Speaker 1: Let's just do those four. Who's next, Jake, Jake, what's up? Jake?

00:46:15
Speaker 17: Hey, Matt, can you hear me this time?

00:46:18
Speaker 1: Yes?

00:46:20
Speaker 17: Okay, So I just got home from the game, and I was happy to see the some of the young guys get some playing time. I apologize if this has already been brought up. I don't know if they showed this on the broadcast. But did you see right before halftime there was a moment where I believe it was Dylan Ray and Coach Wolford. They were up in each other's faces and Dylan Ray was absolutely screaming at Coach Wolford and they had to be separated by one of the other coaches on the staff. I don't know if you saw that or if anybody it.

00:46:54
Speaker 2: Did not see it. Had someone text it to me? So was that on the broadcast or No?

00:47:02
Speaker 17: I don't know if it was on the broadcast. I was, I was at the game, so I had somebody.

00:47:07
Speaker 2: I had somebody at the game text the text machine and say that it was it was Wolford and Dylan Ray had to be separated.

00:47:15
Speaker 1: But I did not see it. That's why I didn't bring it up.

00:47:19
Speaker 2: If anybody else, I'll say you brought it up, But you're not the only person that told me that happened.

00:47:24
Speaker 7: Okay.

00:47:25
Speaker 17: I was just wondering if anybody knew why that happened. But I feel like that's just kind of another that's just another example of I think like the discipline issues that we've had on this scene. Because I mean, as a form, as a former athlete myself, if I ever got enough up in one of my coaches faces, I don't think that would have turned out too well for me. So I don't know that. I like that these players feel like they can just do that and maybe not suffer any repercussions from it.

00:47:53
Speaker 1: So yeah, well I appreciate Paul, Thank you, Jake.

00:47:56
Speaker 2: I have not seen anything in the media reports from the game about it. I didn't see anything online, but I did have, uh, at least one person right the text machine and say that happened. So and if you're if you're the second, then I think, I mean, I don't think two people would have randomly said that, So there's probably a good chance that that did happen. I actually rewinded it. I want to see this personal foul, Billy, to see what did they do. I didn't realize Orlando Franklin and jorgees Sidonia were on the call for this game, Billy, both guys I've done.

00:48:28
Speaker 1: ESPN radio shows Small World.

00:48:31
Speaker 2: The Small World had the Harlan Middlesborough thing, and now jorgees Sidanio and Orlando Franklin, both guys I've hosted with. So let me see what the personal foul was. I saw the off side there got Now this is the personal foul. They just throw a little out. Oh yeah, No, he was out of bounds and he kind of did an ankle lock on his ankle out of bounds. Kind of a weak call. But that was really stupid, dude, Like, why'd you do that? You know, Louisville does dumb things. Man, that that team has been dumb this year. That was really stupid. All right, three more?

00:49:07
Speaker 1: Who's next?

00:49:08
Speaker 3: Actually? Two more? Now somebody hung up?

00:49:09
Speaker 1: Two more?

00:49:10
Speaker 3: All right, Chase is next?

00:49:11
Speaker 1: Chase? Go ahead, Chase.

00:49:14
Speaker 11: Hey man, I'll be honest. I only watched about the first house of the game. I was at a Russell County in Pulaski County girls scrimmage today. But anyway, anyways, the rest of the year, once should our expectations be and then pursuits. What are some key dates with live recruiting and some other things that would be a sign that he might be leaving or he might be staying.

00:49:45
Speaker 2: I think you'll find out his future immediately because the way this works, December fifth is signing day, okay, And I think if Stoops were to decide, he didn't. And by the way, I'm more and more expecting Stoops to stay. Originally I didn't. I'm kind of leaning more and more than he will. But if if he were to not, I think you'd find out immediately because signing day is December fifth. That's that Friday, I think, or maybe that Thursday. That Thursday or that Friday.

00:50:19
Speaker 7: And.

00:50:21
Speaker 1: They will.

00:50:23
Speaker 2: He would owe it kind of to the team, and I think we would well know immediately. But yes, signing day is December fifth, and they have a really good class. They lost one of their guys this week, but they have a really good class, assuming that they're able to keep.

00:50:38
Speaker 1: Them all all in.

00:50:40
Speaker 2: Man, I can't believe that I keep doing this, can't believe the Louisville lost. All right, let's do one more. Who's next?

00:50:46
Speaker 1: Tim? Tim? Go ahead?

00:50:48
Speaker 9: Tim hey Man? First time?

00:50:53
Speaker 1: Who Hey?

00:50:56
Speaker 9: I was wondering. I've been a big, big supporter and still William and I do think he'll he'll be back, kind of like what you reiterate what you said. The one person, that one thing I think he struggles with. To me, it's his evaluation of talent of his staff. And it's funny that I've been waiting here the two people bopped offensive line. There's no way he can bring back that guy again.

00:51:24
Speaker 1: Yeah, oh way, you.

00:51:25
Speaker 2: Know that's I think that's gonna be hard. You're exactly right, and especially with what the guy said earlier. I mean, you know, it's funny the offensive line. Over the years, there's basically there have been people everyone loves Schlarman, there were people that really liked Yinzer, there were people that really liked Wolford the and then there were people who felt the exact opposite way. So I never really know exactly what to do. But there's no doubt the performance has been bad this.

00:51:55
Speaker 9: Year, but for you know, he's gone back to the will twice with him. Yeah, and you know, if I was cutter boldly or at a quarterback looking, I'd be scary out of my wits. Uh, look, you know what's coming at my blind side.

00:52:09
Speaker 2: And you know it's not like they have this huge group of depth. I mean, they're probably gonna have to go into the portal and hope it works.

00:52:16
Speaker 1: You know. I mean that's and that's that's danger. We have to go into the portal and just hope it works. Yeah.

00:52:23
Speaker 9: And you know, a good thing. We know with any leader, whether it's coaching or business or whatever, we try to, you know, we take other people's strengths and try to hide other people's weaknesses. Yeah, you know, to kind of cover up. And I just don't you know, whether it's blocking schemes or play calling or whatever. We're not doing that for those guys, and you know, they're just so exposed.

00:52:46
Speaker 1: I agree with you, appreciate the call. I totally agree with you.

00:52:49
Speaker 2: It's been you know, when you're trying to figure out how good's Barack, it's hard because it's hard to know, because it's hard to know because he gets so little time so often, you know, it's hard to know.

00:52:58
Speaker 1: Thank you all very much.

00:52:59
Speaker 2: Ended up with the phone lines the whole time, good show. We learned about what the one sixtieth Indian unit is in the Massachusetts h and had a good evening. This day started early, really started at nine thirty, at seven thirty at night, But thank you all for sticking around the Louisville women have gone on a little run to lead Kentucky's women forty six forty two at the end of the third quarter.

00:53:25
Speaker 1: Hopefully we can pull it out in the fourth and get a victory.

00:53:28
Speaker 2: We'll see you all on Monday. This has been the local Toy Dealers KSR postgame show
