Revisiting WWE RAW 2006 - Joey Styles QUITS, Fallout From WWE Backlash

DEADLOCK: A Pro Wrestling Podcast

"I'm not good enough to call BACKLASH?!"

The May 1st, 2006 episode of WWE Monday Night RAW brings us the fallout from the PPV that took place the night before, Backlash! Of course, to capitalize on the momentum of this PPV, Vince McMahon opens the show & lets everyone know that he doesn't really feel like working tonight, and he is going to let all of the members of the Spirit Squad run the show. Yes, all of them. Kenny. Johnny. Mitch. Nicky. Mikey. All of them.

Of course, that comes with a lot of "interesting" matches, including John Cena defending his WWE Championship against the 20 year old Kenny. Three of the members of the Spirit Squad also very fairly put themselves in a 6-man tag against "The Odd Squad" of Eugene, Snitsky, & Goldust. Of course, that's not all the Spirit Squad does on this episode, as they decide to set their sights on the lead commentator of RAW at the time, Joey Styles.

The Spirit Squad, during the live broadcast, tell Joey Styles to go backstage to have a meeting with them, where they dress him down for being bad at his job, and not having enough "spirit". This, combined with Jerry Lawler poking his buttons, sets Joey Styles off, which leads to one of the most infamous 'worked-shoot' promos in the history of WWE, leading to some very memorable lines.

We also have Chris Masters' Masterlock Challenge, a Divas Cheerleader Tag Team Match involving Mickie James, Victoria, Maria, and Torrie Wilson, and the biggest match of the night; Rob Conway takes on KANE, who is being haunted by the mysterious 'May 19th' date.

All of that, and SO much more, on this episode of the DEADLOCK Podcast!

<v Speaker 1>Boys on Town.

<v Speaker 2>Today we are talking about Joey Styles not being good

<v Speaker 1>And now it's time to talk about WWE Monday Night
<v Speaker 1>Raw for May first, two thousand and six.
<v Speaker 2>All right, let's get into Monday Night Raw for May one,
<v Speaker 2>two thousand and six.
<v Speaker 1>Do we have to?
<v Speaker 2>Of course we do. Everybody was watching.
<v Speaker 1>No, that can't be fucking right. There's no way that
<v Speaker 1>everybody decided to watch this episode of Raw because it
<v Speaker 1>just can't be.
<v Speaker 2>It can't be. They literally tell you that the world
<v Speaker 2>is watching before the show starts.
<v Speaker 1>Well, they have never lied in the wwe have they and.
<v Speaker 2>They will continue not to fifty years of not lying
<v Speaker 2>or something like that.
<v Speaker 1>That's true, for over fifty years not lying about anything.
<v Speaker 1>Oh right, Well, before we get into this level episode
<v Speaker 1>of role, let's talk about what was going on in
<v Speaker 1>the world wrestling at the time with the Wrestling Observer.
<v Speaker 1>Newsletter from The Observer May one, two thousand and six,
<v Speaker 1>Melt to Rights in a shocking move designed a shake
<v Speaker 1>up World Wrestling Entertainment. Mince McMahon made a decision while
<v Speaker 1>flying to Europe on four to twenty to revive the
<v Speaker 1>EW brands, spearheading a number of changes. Okay, there's a
<v Speaker 1>lot there. First of all, one shake up WWE with ECW,
<v Speaker 1>especially now knowing what we know about how this goes
<v Speaker 1>is very funny too. Flying to Europe on four to
<v Speaker 1>twenty and deciding, ah, bring back ECW is very funny.
<v Speaker 2>And also make sure Edge gets stripped throat.
<v Speaker 1>I was on a plane with Van dam on four
<v Speaker 1>to twenty and I thought i'd bring back ECW, Why
<v Speaker 1>the fuck not? The meetings have been held the past
<v Speaker 1>few days with all different facets of the company to
<v Speaker 1>get ready to revive the brand name coming off the
<v Speaker 1>six eleven One Night Tin PIVOTEW at the Hammerstein Ballroom
<v Speaker 1>in New York. While most are assuming Joey Styles would
<v Speaker 1>become the voice of ECW and that it would lead
<v Speaker 1>to Jim Ross going back to the lead position on Raw,
<v Speaker 1>as of press time, that decision was not made and
<v Speaker 1>it was far from definite. There had been rumblings of
<v Speaker 1>Ross replacing Styles since WrestleMania, including that even for the
<v Speaker 1>ECW idea it could come as early as May. Hayman
<v Speaker 1>has always been negative in the company regarding Joey Styles,
<v Speaker 1>claiming the success in EASW was because they would spend
<v Speaker 1>four or five hours to voice a one hour show,
<v Speaker 1>and Hayman heavily directed him. He warned the company about
<v Speaker 1>putting him on Raw still for authenticity. Hayman was in
<v Speaker 1>favor of him being the voice of the first One
<v Speaker 1>Night Stand, and Styles at his spectacular job with Hayman
<v Speaker 1>producing him and feeding them him many lines. Still, much
<v Speaker 1>of the Styles weekly beatdown has been because of how
<v Speaker 1>he was handed or handled. Excuse me Styles first non
<v Speaker 1>eesedit of you appearance for We at Taboo Tuesday without
<v Speaker 1>Hayman and his ear saw Styles do a great job
<v Speaker 1>is lead announcer. He was fine in the early weeks
<v Speaker 1>of all but got steadily worse as the company attempted
<v Speaker 1>to remake him and killed all of his confidence in
<v Speaker 1>the process. Taking him off Russellmandi and putting Ross in
<v Speaker 1>his place, and having it done very publicly before the
<v Speaker 1>event was a very public slap in the face. So
<v Speaker 1>if you haven't known by now, if you've clicked on
<v Speaker 1>this episode, this is the episode where we begin the
<v Speaker 1>Joey Styles you know in ECW coming back deal or
<v Speaker 1>he quits on this show. But I the one thing
<v Speaker 1>I don't I don't know if I knew. Maybe you
<v Speaker 1>had heard about it, James, I didn't realize that this Hayman,
<v Speaker 1>Joey Styles and w E thing was. I didn't realize
<v Speaker 1>Jayman didn't go to bat for him. I figured he'd
<v Speaker 1>went to back for all the EW boys.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, me too. I didn't know that either. I was
<v Speaker 2>pretty surprised seeing that.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I mean, I'm there's a very good chance Mells
<v Speaker 1>I heard it directly directly from volume as well, so
<v Speaker 1>I'm sure that's that was the case. I mean, I
<v Speaker 1>always like Joey, especially in ECW. I don't have very
<v Speaker 1>fond memories of this era of w W at all,
<v Speaker 1>so I don't know if I can say which either
<v Speaker 1>way of Joey's performances, but I did like him in ECW.
<v Speaker 2>I have a very small sample size here, but the
<v Speaker 2>sample size being this show, But I have to say
<v Speaker 2>I didn't mind him being on comments ay here.
<v Speaker 1>No, it actually felt, like, you know, for I thought
<v Speaker 1>he did a good job, and I felt Lawler maybe
<v Speaker 1>wasn't as comfortable with him, so he wasn't as outlandish
<v Speaker 1>as he typically is though he I mean, he does
<v Speaker 1>have his moments obviously, but yeah, no, I thought styles
<v Speaker 1>did all right. But I mean, it makes the most
<v Speaker 1>sense that if you're bringing ecd B back, you'd put
<v Speaker 1>this fucking dude on it.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, especially if they were going off the one night
<v Speaker 2>standpay per views and all that shit. And the idea
<v Speaker 2>was we're bringing the real ECW like brand back. Sure
<v Speaker 2>there was no chance for this guy to not be
<v Speaker 2>the commentator.
<v Speaker 1>Well, Meltzer says the company idea at this point with
<v Speaker 1>ECW was to hire fourteen or so former e W
<v Speaker 1>stars for the authenticity excuse me of the brand man,
<v Speaker 1>How how different it could have been if they signed
<v Speaker 1>you know, all the legends. I mean Roadkill was there, right,
<v Speaker 1>he's an ov dub. I don't think he really does
<v Speaker 1>much on this show, another one, especially after what he
<v Speaker 1>did at the first one night stand. I'm really surprised
<v Speaker 1>Mike Awesome didn't make his way back here at least
<v Speaker 1>for a cup of coffee with this.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I think that he would have been a big
<v Speaker 2>draw for them.
<v Speaker 1>Your boy just incredible makes it back.
<v Speaker 2>Well, of course he was a part of the X Factor.
<v Speaker 1>That's what Vince said too about the one from the
<v Speaker 1>X Factor.
<v Speaker 2>Well, of course he was part of X Factor.
<v Speaker 1>Now the bald one, Albert, No.
<v Speaker 2>The one that was over albert A right, all right,
<v Speaker 2>Albert That Yeah, that's fine, also bringing justin Credible.
<v Speaker 1>In RH news, the ROH Versus season to be Dynamic
<v Speaker 1>in Philadelphia drew one thousand fans on April twenty second
<v Speaker 1>for the company's one hundredth show, most estimates, where the
<v Speaker 1>crowd consisted of seventy percent RH fans or in shouting
<v Speaker 1>competition for the CSONW fans. Uh. They set up the
<v Speaker 1>arena with the idea of being like a college basketball
<v Speaker 1>or football game, where there was a CZ to B
<v Speaker 1>side and an RH side. It made for interesting chance
<v Speaker 1>as when the CSONW side would chance CZW, the ROH
<v Speaker 1>fans would chance sucks. It ended with the season B
<v Speaker 1>fans channing USA and trying to come up with a
<v Speaker 1>chance the ROH fans wouldn't make fun of. That's fucking hilarious.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, that's good.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know how it still comes off well on tape,
<v Speaker 1>but I think being in it at the time was
<v Speaker 1>way more exciting than anyone could probably like enjoyed in
<v Speaker 1>after like being there was a big fucking deal like
<v Speaker 1>cs W shows for the most part, by the way,
<v Speaker 1>sucked fucking shit like cs B side of this was
<v Speaker 1>bad in hindsight, but I was a season to you
<v Speaker 1>die hard, So like even a glimpse, you know, fucking
<v Speaker 1>Jay Lethal shows up at best of the best. It's
<v Speaker 1>fucked a Lethal and I'm very excited if he loses.
<v Speaker 2>Well, it's a fun deal, you know. It's it really
<v Speaker 2>is like picking a team and you know you have
<v Speaker 2>root for that team regardless you know mm.
<v Speaker 1>Hmm, yeah, you fucking ride or die for them, man. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>even even if my team sucks, some thing's never changed.
<v Speaker 1>And uh yeah no. R chandeled this feud fucking fantastically.
<v Speaker 1>And you know what, man, I got to give it
<v Speaker 1>to Adam Pierce. Wasn't a huge Adam Pierce guy before that,
<v Speaker 1>and maybe not so much a few years after this,
<v Speaker 1>But Adam Pierce bled like a motherfucker for this R
<v Speaker 1>A season of feud and I will always remember that.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, that's pretty cool.
<v Speaker 1>In more, w w E News Network executive Palmer Cannon.
<v Speaker 1>Do you remember Palmer Cannon?
<v Speaker 2>Palmer Cannon.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, he was like he was on SmackDown and he
<v Speaker 1>was like I thought his name was Paul Murcannon, not
<v Speaker 1>Palmer space Cannon.
<v Speaker 2>That can't be right. I thought it was Paul Mercannon,
<v Speaker 2>Like Cannon was his last name, Paul murkh Cannon.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah. Well, so, okay, you do at least know who
<v Speaker 1>this is. At the very least.
<v Speaker 2>I only know who this is. And I only even
<v Speaker 2>remember who he is now because we talked about him.
<v Speaker 1>One time, okay, and he must have.
<v Speaker 2>Been I I don't. I have no idea who this is.
<v Speaker 2>Like in my brain, like, no, no, I have no
<v Speaker 2>idea what this is. I just remember us talking about
<v Speaker 2>Paul murcannon.
<v Speaker 1>Paul mrcannon, right, okay, to tell he's his gimmick was
<v Speaker 1>he was like Cyrus. He was the network representation for
<v Speaker 1>uh U Piano with a smack that was on at
<v Speaker 1>the time, and I think he was. He also brought
<v Speaker 1>in the Boogeyman or had something to do with that.
<v Speaker 1>So Paul mr cannon, this is not a good story
<v Speaker 1>for Paul mc cannon appears to have quit the company.
<v Speaker 1>He was being groomed too feud with the Mizz and
<v Speaker 1>he said, no, fuck that.
<v Speaker 2>No, yeah, palmer Cannon had a big feud coming out
<v Speaker 2>with the Miz and then he quit.
<v Speaker 1>Dude, I looked up palmer Cannon and you fucked me up.
<v Speaker 1>I spelled it p a U L. Dude.
<v Speaker 2>I didn't even know it was Paul mr Cannon. I
<v Speaker 2>legit thought it was Paul murcannon.
<v Speaker 1>He was gonna feel with the miss, and Meltzer says,
<v Speaker 1>as he was gonna feel with the miss as he
<v Speaker 1>was about the only guy the world's most annoying baby
<v Speaker 1>face probably wouldn't turn. So Meltzer doesn't seem to like
<v Speaker 1>the miss here, really shocking. I know he was riley,
<v Speaker 1>he was spent. Palmer Cannon was sent for the entire
<v Speaker 1>European tour more to serve as the babysitter for a
<v Speaker 1>deleep sing. You might know him as the great colleague,
<v Speaker 1>and he was just going to wrestle on the prelim.
<v Speaker 1>So Palmer Cannon is a worker, by the way, so
<v Speaker 1>I'm assuming he was gonna transition from just the backstage
<v Speaker 1>dude to working the miz, which always goes well. A
<v Speaker 1>couple more things here from The Observer, May tenth, two
<v Speaker 1>thousand and six. A new concept in pro wrestling that
<v Speaker 1>has been talked about to Meltzer by various people in wrestling,
<v Speaker 1>Eric Bischoff and Nick Bockwinkle most notably, will be debuting
<v Speaker 1>on the indie level in July. The UCW promotion is
<v Speaker 1>building a sixty four man tournament where they would have
<v Speaker 1>matches for five straight days. All the matches will be
<v Speaker 1>ten minutes with no finishes. They would then have judges
<v Speaker 1>picked the winner based on who was the best worker
<v Speaker 1>in the match, and that person would advance.
<v Speaker 2>That's a dogshit idea, like.
<v Speaker 1>It's one why the fuck what is everyone's obsession with
<v Speaker 1>reinventing the wheel? Why? Like everyone can't just let wrestling
<v Speaker 1>be wrestling. Wrestling is good. We can just do wrestling.
<v Speaker 1>There's stuff you can tweak and you know, make your
<v Speaker 1>own and and do this and that. We don't have
<v Speaker 1>to turn wrestling into something else. Wrestling can just stay wrestling,
<v Speaker 1>like everyone wants a to be MMA or whatever the
<v Speaker 1>fuck this is, Like, wrestling can just stay wrestling. This
<v Speaker 1>what You're gonna put dudes against each other with the
<v Speaker 1>idea that one of them shoot advances in this tournament,
<v Speaker 1>and you think they're gonna work together.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I actually don't even know how that would go.
<v Speaker 2>I guess two thousand and six. Maybe it would be
<v Speaker 2>the dude who had the coolest move.
<v Speaker 1>That fucking two thousand and six and we're coming up
<v Speaker 1>on all the coolest moves ever for the next like
<v Speaker 1>three or four years.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, Like that's what I'm thinking, is it has to
<v Speaker 2>be who would do like the craziest thing, Like if
<v Speaker 2>san Jay Dutt came in and did the moon stomp
<v Speaker 2>or something, they probably fuck, he's the best worker, go ahead,
<v Speaker 2>move him.
<v Speaker 1>On last thing here. Raw On May first drew a
<v Speaker 1>three point nine to six ratings, So that's the one
<v Speaker 1>we're about to talk about. Meltzer says, although the rating
<v Speaker 1>was just slightly below the recent average, the main event
<v Speaker 1>of Sina versus Kenny did a five point zero six,
<v Speaker 1>which is the highest rated raw match in probably eighteen months.
<v Speaker 1>So if you want to know where we are, James
<v Speaker 1>in wrestling, down swings or the highest of highs, we
<v Speaker 1>got a five point zero six for this main event here. Well,
<v Speaker 1>that is it for the observer. Now let's talk about
<v Speaker 1>w w E Monday Night Raw from May first, two
<v Speaker 1>thousand and six.
<v Speaker 2>All right, so let's get into this raw. Of course,
<v Speaker 2>we start with everyone's favorite bumper.
<v Speaker 1>Yes, sir, we promise you a great mad event tonight,
<v Speaker 1>and hell yeah, I mean classic intro. I understand shit
<v Speaker 1>has to evolve at some point, but man, this is
<v Speaker 1>a top tier to me, this bumper at the beginning,
<v Speaker 1>and then we just go into the worst shit ever.
<v Speaker 2>So we have a cold open here. Vince McMahon defeated
<v Speaker 2>Shawn Michaels and God at Backlash, and he's here to celebrate.
<v Speaker 1>Vince says, last time, my son Shane and I did
<v Speaker 1>what some thought would be impossible we defeated Sewn Michaels
<v Speaker 1>and God. So tonight I'm gonna do what God does
<v Speaker 1>all the time. I'm gonna take a day off. I'm
<v Speaker 1>gonna sit back and relax. And I announced five co
<v Speaker 1>general managers. They're gonna be running things here tonight. And
<v Speaker 1>they are okay. First, by the way, I was like, Okay,
<v Speaker 1>this is gonna be like just a bunch of heels.
<v Speaker 1>I figured they'll just get a bunch of shitters and like,
<v Speaker 1>each of them have an angle going on already, so
<v Speaker 1>they'll book whoever their next opponent is again somebody or
<v Speaker 1>some kind of fucking bullshit like that. I never did,
<v Speaker 1>I realize. I guess I just forgot where we were,
<v Speaker 1>because Vince introduces the fucking Spirit Squad. And the Spirit
<v Speaker 1>Squad are here, and they're an all green and they're
<v Speaker 1>fired up, and I'm looking at this and they all
<v Speaker 1>get a talking part, and I realize I don't know
<v Speaker 1>anyone here.
<v Speaker 2>The Spirit Squad comes in and Vince looks up and
<v Speaker 2>he looks at all five of them. Who the hell
<v Speaker 2>are you guys? Where's the Spirit Squad?
<v Speaker 1>What the fuck is that?
<v Speaker 2>Wait? This is the spirits?
<v Speaker 1>Okay, he points at Mitch's face. What the fuck is that?
<v Speaker 2>He pulls up the paper, he puts the little glasses on,
<v Speaker 2>he looked down at it.
<v Speaker 3>All right, So we have Penny Omega, Nick Bockwinkle, golf Ziggler,
<v Speaker 3>Mike Mondo.
<v Speaker 2>Oh we do have Mondo. Yeah, that's good.
<v Speaker 3>Uh and uh, Mitch, maybe James.
<v Speaker 1>I'm not fucking joking. I had to go back and
<v Speaker 1>fix my notes entirely because I wrote, I swear I
<v Speaker 1>wrote three of these guys names were Mitch. I didn't
<v Speaker 1>fucking know which one.
<v Speaker 2>Johnny possibly all right, well, you guys can run her.
<v Speaker 1>Off, you got that. I no one's watching it anyway,
<v Speaker 1>I mean, he gives a funk. The world is not watching, dude.
<v Speaker 2>I look these guys up, because, like you, I didn't
<v Speaker 2>know their names. I knew dog Ziggler obviously I knew,
<v Speaker 2>and Kenny I knew, oh yeah, and Kenny Dykstra. But
<v Speaker 2>I look these guys up. But apparently Mitch did MMA,
<v Speaker 2>and Okay, his first MMA match was against a young
<v Speaker 2>Derek Lewis.
<v Speaker 1>Whoa and he whooped Derek Lewis as I'm sure.
<v Speaker 2>No Derek Lewis beat the dog shit out of him.
<v Speaker 2>But a good note and a guy that eventually goes
<v Speaker 2>on to be a UFC legend.
<v Speaker 1>That is true. You know what, James, I'm not looking
<v Speaker 1>at this. That is not only his MMA debut. That
<v Speaker 1>was the last MMA fight he ever had. He lost
<v Speaker 1>to Derek Lewis my.
<v Speaker 2>TKO Grand Opening.
<v Speaker 1>But Mitch did date Tory Wilson as well.
<v Speaker 2>Oh we did date Tory Wilson. Yeah, I was. I
<v Speaker 2>think they opened up some sort of shop or something
<v Speaker 2>and they.
<v Speaker 1>Got I see, well, you know, listen what a run right, Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I mean real made it to TV. And then there's Johnny.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah I didn't. Again, I seriously, like in my notes
<v Speaker 1>right here, I legit have Oh man, I gotta remember
<v Speaker 1>these dudes names and faces. I think this is Mitch. Nope,
<v Speaker 1>that's Johnny. I don't know the three bitches on this team.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah. I mean they did a good job, you know,
<v Speaker 2>with like putting their names in the intro every time
<v Speaker 2>they came out, you know, try to get you familiarized
<v Speaker 2>with everybody on the back too. Yeah. Yeah, you're right, yeah,
<v Speaker 2>which is good. It helps in the in the matches
<v Speaker 2>later tonight. But still, man, good god, shitty super porky.
<v Speaker 2>The Sports Quad Super Porky. That would have been awesome.
<v Speaker 1>Crazy, Oh fuck, super crazy, super.
<v Speaker 2>Crazy super Porky and a young Derek.
<v Speaker 4>Lewis balls My ball's high drawn, super crazy.
<v Speaker 1>My balls like that one. I like that one. So yeah.
<v Speaker 1>Uh fucking Johnny says, we're here to break boundaries, just
<v Speaker 1>like we put Shawn Michaels through a table last night,
<v Speaker 1>and even though we're the tag champs tonight, we're gonna
<v Speaker 1>put the w W title on the line. What he
<v Speaker 1>fucked he fucked this up. Ah, that's not what he
<v Speaker 1>was trying to say.
<v Speaker 2>Hey, when the hell did we make you tag team champions?
<v Speaker 1>What a bitch? What the fuck is that?
<v Speaker 2>Somebody? Get the Spirit Squad in here? Who are these guys?
<v Speaker 1>Well, James, they drew Spirit straws and twenty year old
<v Speaker 1>Kenny will be going one. I want to get with
<v Speaker 1>John Cena for the WE title. How exciting is that?
<v Speaker 2>I mean he's only twenty years old here, that is
<v Speaker 2>pretty nuts.
<v Speaker 1>Well, Kenny says he's gonna make him proud. Vince McMahon
<v Speaker 1>and then Mitch or Johnny say, uh, you know, start
<v Speaker 1>things off right. We're gonna have a Divas tag match,
<v Speaker 1>but don't worry. They're gonna be dress up as the
<v Speaker 1>greatest performers in the world, and of course it's the
<v Speaker 1>Spirit Squad, so they will be dressed up as cheerleaders.
<v Speaker 1>And everyone's very excited about this. And so we're gonna
<v Speaker 1>have a Diva's cheerleader tag match to start the show,
<v Speaker 1>I believe, And uh, that's great.
<v Speaker 2>I'm gonna take the night off.
<v Speaker 1>When you find the Spirit Squad, can you let them
<v Speaker 1>know to come fucking talk to me.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know who the hell you guys are, but
<v Speaker 2>do what you need to do. I don't care.
<v Speaker 1>So Vince is super on board with the Spirit Squad
<v Speaker 1>and they're fired up for this fucking just surely great
<v Speaker 1>episode of Raw. Listen, man, this is this is like
<v Speaker 1>they got balls. They must have all the confidence in
<v Speaker 1>the world to start the show with this fucking freak
<v Speaker 1>Vince McMahon looking at me, staring me dead in the
<v Speaker 1>eyes in this camera. Then they bring on the Spirit
<v Speaker 1>Squad and say, the Spirits Squad's on the show. I'm
<v Speaker 1>fucking watching something else tonight.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I mean I I don't remember any of this,
<v Speaker 2>so I don't even know if I was watching. I
<v Speaker 2>don't think I was but super weird deal here. I mean,
<v Speaker 2>I think the Spirit Squad is a funny undercard deal.
<v Speaker 2>I think they have a spot here for sure. Five
<v Speaker 2>dudes you want to see just get their ass kicked.
<v Speaker 2>I mean just begging for somebody, some up and coming
<v Speaker 2>baby face on this show, like RPD or something to
<v Speaker 2>kick the dogs shit out of these guys. But I
<v Speaker 2>mean being in the main event running the show, dude,
<v Speaker 2>I mean just a little bit of an over extension.
<v Speaker 1>Probably this would probably work if it wasn't the fucking
<v Speaker 1>Spirit Squad two, or if maybe they weren't the Spirit Squad,
<v Speaker 1>like they could have just had five dudes that all
<v Speaker 1>kick ass. Maybe that would have worked a little better
<v Speaker 1>for their careers.
<v Speaker 2>So Joey Styles and Jerry Lawler welcome us to Columbus,
<v Speaker 2>Ohio for Raw Run by the Spirit Squad.
<v Speaker 1>Yes, of course, you got to look at the guns
<v Speaker 1>and the drugs from my generation, because that's still the
<v Speaker 1>intro here it is.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah with the Cane face.
<v Speaker 1>Okay, Kane face is a staple of this one, as
<v Speaker 1>well as John Cena yelling. They got Stacy in this
<v Speaker 1>intro too, which is the show.
<v Speaker 2>She wasn't on the show.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I think she might be doing the Dancing with
<v Speaker 1>the Stars thing at this time. Oh okay, so maybe
<v Speaker 1>that's why she's on there, because she's good. Call getting
<v Speaker 1>more popular somewhere else. Oh my god, good call, Jesus Christ.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, very good call.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah. We are in Columbus, Ohio. Though here, by the way,
<v Speaker 1>I wonder if Dom Gereni was here.
<v Speaker 2>No, he hadn't gotten it into wrestling yet. He needed
<v Speaker 2>MGK to come through.
<v Speaker 1>MGK all fucking day as they.
<v Speaker 2>Say, Yeah, it shows footage of Edge versus Mick Foley
<v Speaker 2>or WrestleMania and then announces Mick Foley will be on
<v Speaker 2>the cutting Edge.
<v Speaker 1>I knew you'd be excited about that.
<v Speaker 2>Of course. I loved w W talk shows.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I mean they show recaps of this match from
<v Speaker 1>Mania twenty two. What a fucking match that was, dude,
<v Speaker 1>good lord, I know.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, it is a very good match and it holds
<v Speaker 2>up still to this day. It is a fantastic match.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, they went for it crazy in that one. The
<v Speaker 1>amount of people that oh, Mick Foley residuals has got
<v Speaker 1>to be a fucking shopping list to people. It's uh, it's.
<v Speaker 2>Pretty grows every day.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, dude, still to this day.
<v Speaker 2>Folly.
<v Speaker 1>Uh, it can still make somebody here and uh Lawler.
<v Speaker 1>So they're talking about this, you know, for the first
<v Speaker 1>time since media's gonna go face to face fully on
<v Speaker 1>the cutting edge, and Lawler says, and believe me, Cole,
<v Speaker 1>this is gonna be very explosive. Okay, okay, already fucking
<v Speaker 1>doing that and uh oh and speaking of explosive, uh,
<v Speaker 1>and fucking Tory Wilson's coming out here, and Joey Style says,
<v Speaker 1>you're gonna explode king Oh, I might hopefully not prematurely.
<v Speaker 1>Whoo hoo. Puppies fuck thankfully that's the like, that's the
<v Speaker 1>worst he gets on this show.
<v Speaker 2>So we start off here with Tory Wilson with the dog,
<v Speaker 2>and the dog is dressed up too.
<v Speaker 1>That's wow, I mean commitment to the act. Chloe the Dog,
<v Speaker 1>I believe that was the name of the dog. Please
<v Speaker 1>show some respect to a Hall of Famer. They did
<v Speaker 1>officially announce this, though James as a tag team diva
<v Speaker 1>cheerleader match. I don't know if the rules change at
<v Speaker 1>all for a cheerleader match, but it didn't seem like it.
<v Speaker 2>No, it didn't seem like it at all.
<v Speaker 1>Actually, yeah, No, it was just they can put these
<v Speaker 1>in these put them on these outfits, and the heels
<v Speaker 1>agreed to be in the outfits as well.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, so Tory Wilson is teaming up with Maria here
<v Speaker 2>and they would take on Yeah, tell me all right,
<v Speaker 2>They're taking on Victoria and Mickey James.
<v Speaker 1>Mickey James is the women's champion. Maria is of course
<v Speaker 1>the inventor of the kiss cam, which is her. That's
<v Speaker 1>the only accolade they say here for her when she
<v Speaker 1>comes out here. But she does have they here. She
<v Speaker 1>comes against song which you can listen to on the
<v Speaker 1>new Reckless Intent album.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, they have a few songs throughout the show that
<v Speaker 2>are on that album.
<v Speaker 1>I own that album, well, I own the CD of it.
<v Speaker 1>I do remember this. I remember the well the one
<v Speaker 1>James has Homeboy on that nice it's got that, It's
<v Speaker 1>got everybody they see it's got I think on it's
<v Speaker 1>like the there's like a couple hidden tracks and I
<v Speaker 1>swear or maybe it's not a hint and one I
<v Speaker 1>know fucking there's like a song someone does like a
<v Speaker 1>cover of Walk and I was like, oh, they're gonna
<v Speaker 1>give this RVD. But it does not happen.
<v Speaker 2>It was supposed to be for paulmer Cannon. Oh right,
<v Speaker 2>fuddy quit.
<v Speaker 1>And they said, fuck this fucking song man. Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>So Trish dislocated her shoulder against Mickey at Backlash and
<v Speaker 2>it shows the footage here and yeah, it look pretty bad.
<v Speaker 1>I wrote, Uh yeah, Mickey Dumpstrish over the top and
<v Speaker 1>Trish discal locates her shoulder. James Darnell esk.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, mine was even more dumb, but it was kind
<v Speaker 2>of like that pretty much.
<v Speaker 1>You went over the top and then instead of the
<v Speaker 1>apron dislocated, dislocation you you went right to the floor. Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>I missed the apron and hit the floor and tore
<v Speaker 2>my apron. Yeah. I wish I would have just dislocated
<v Speaker 2>my old honestly.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah that's right. Yeah, sure, that's uh, that's worse. That
<v Speaker 1>is worse. But you know what, Trish thankfully did not
<v Speaker 1>do all that shit. And I don't think this needs surgery.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, she didn't even miss a day. Actually, she comes
<v Speaker 2>out here for this match.
<v Speaker 1>Yes. Yeah, Mickey is also fake crying as they showed
<v Speaker 1>the Trish clip on here. Mickey, Uh, Micky was great
<v Speaker 1>here in this She's you know, she was a bright
<v Speaker 1>spot of fucking you know this era she was super
<v Speaker 1>dialed into being just an asshole.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, so we start the match off here, Maria somehow
<v Speaker 2>gets the upper hand on Mickey and Victoria here hell
<v Speaker 2>yeah uh and sends them both to the corner and
<v Speaker 2>then does her popular taunt raising the roof, which of
<v Speaker 2>course makes Toy do her popular raising the roof. Of course,
<v Speaker 2>after you raise the roof, that means it's time to
<v Speaker 2>do the same face.
<v Speaker 1>You have to put your ass in somebody's face if
<v Speaker 1>you raise the roof, and I mean she pulls her
<v Speaker 1>fucking shit right up her ass, uh and then does
<v Speaker 1>a bubble stinkface to Victoria and Mickey here. But that
<v Speaker 1>is not enough, is it.
<v Speaker 2>She should have done the look back.
<v Speaker 1>Oh, I mean, dude, savat kick into lookback would have
<v Speaker 1>been huge. They're missing some vital parts here, dude.
<v Speaker 2>It would have been awesome. Yeah, wow, huge pop. I
<v Speaker 2>mean that place where they erupted.
<v Speaker 1>Sadly, we only got just the ass and the face parked.
<v Speaker 1>And this is I mean a commentary. They're like, it
<v Speaker 1>just doesn't this doesn't work. This Rakeshi's gigantic, fucking, insane,
<v Speaker 1>fucking ass is why this was a bad move. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>Like a commentary Lawler's like, oh what I should be there? Okay,
<v Speaker 1>well then who gives a fuck that? Yeah?
<v Speaker 2>So after the stinkface ordeal, Maria then hits the Bronco
<v Speaker 2>buster on Mickey James.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, she does the ride a Horse taunt excessively. Haven't
<v Speaker 1>seen that one and does the Bronco and then Tory
<v Speaker 1>gut kicks Victorian does the X Factor. You're stealing all
<v Speaker 1>Xbox shit, he's not even here.
<v Speaker 2>I got everything I ever world?
<v Speaker 1>Oh is he coming out? They heard the Vince fucked
<v Speaker 1>with X Factor heavy Bank stage and they said, oh,
<v Speaker 1>we're going for it.
<v Speaker 2>So Mickey goes for a soup lex to Maria from
<v Speaker 2>the apron here into the ring, but Trish comes down
<v Speaker 2>in an arm sling. She slips Mickey's legs and Maria
<v Speaker 2>pins Mickey James.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, man, like this was fine. I don't know. The
<v Speaker 1>cheerleader thing was fucking stupid.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah. I mean they're male cheerleaders, so I'm a little
<v Speaker 2>confused on why they wouldn't also want to have like
<v Speaker 2>one of the male teams do the cheerleader.
<v Speaker 1>Match, right, Yeah, the nex match?
<v Speaker 2>Why was it not spirit squad? Versus also Odd Squad
<v Speaker 2>in the cheerleader outfits.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, like they're trying to embarrass them or something. Right, Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>these are just here's four women that look really good
<v Speaker 1>in these outfits.
<v Speaker 2>WHOA, yeah, they should have done the Spirit Squad versus
<v Speaker 2>the Odd Squad with a cheerleader outfit, and the Odd
<v Speaker 2>Squad wins like they put him in a cheerle you're
<v Speaker 2>off fit, and they all actually think it's cool and
<v Speaker 2>they're down with it, and then they beat them.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, they do a great job with it.
<v Speaker 2>We have Spirit Squad versus Eugene gold Dust and Gene Snitsky.
<v Speaker 2>Up next, Mike Mondo is here to cut a promo.
<v Speaker 1>Johnny Mickey and Mikey I believe all come out here.
<v Speaker 1>They are five Way Tag champions, free bird rule crazy
<v Speaker 1>here they're calling it the Spirits Squad rule in two
<v Speaker 1>thousand and six, Mike Mondo, Mike Mondo says, earlier tonight
<v Speaker 1>we drew spirit straws back to the fucking Spirits straws.
<v Speaker 1>And it turns out that Kenny is gonna go against
<v Speaker 1>Johnsena for the w Championships and I eight two. But
<v Speaker 1>as far as US three go, that doesn't mean, we
<v Speaker 1>want the night off. We scheduled a six man tag
<v Speaker 1>right now, that's a very baby face thing to do.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, they didn't want to do like a three on
<v Speaker 2>one match or anything.
<v Speaker 1>Right, That's exactly right. That's what I was fucking gonna say.
<v Speaker 1>Like they put themselves in a totally fair situation.
<v Speaker 2>Okay, that's great. Yeah, what was the deal here? So
<v Speaker 2>you have to fucking team. You got five fucking guys
<v Speaker 2>that everyone wants to see get beat up. Yeah, and
<v Speaker 2>then like we're doing them versus Eugene gold Dust and
<v Speaker 2>Jeens Snitsky and shit, Like, there's so much more like
<v Speaker 2>creative stuff you can do with these guys, and like,
<v Speaker 2>we're just not doing it.
<v Speaker 1>We're not in the business of being creative at.
<v Speaker 2>Two thousand and six. That's tough, man.
<v Speaker 1>So Mikey says, you guys want to know why we
<v Speaker 1>did that while we booked this six man tag because
<v Speaker 1>we're the Spirit Squad.
<v Speaker 2>This reminded me of fucking what were you talking about?
<v Speaker 1>Uh, mister perfect, Hey man, it's me, mister Perfect, and
<v Speaker 1>I'm here because I'm perfect. Dude.
<v Speaker 2>You're right, it's exactly that we booked this match because
<v Speaker 2>we are the Spirit Squad and our opponents they're odd,
<v Speaker 2>they're the odd squad.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, you can call them the odd squad haha. And
<v Speaker 1>then mikey Mondo has the air horn, which popped me huge.
<v Speaker 2>I did like that, dude. I think the airhorn is
<v Speaker 2>criminally underrated. I think someone should use that all the time.
<v Speaker 2>There should be one guy that uses an airhorn all
<v Speaker 2>the time.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, like is he? I don't know how who else
<v Speaker 1>is done. Surely there's been other that done it. I
<v Speaker 1>just don't know, like other than CZW fans dresses referees
<v Speaker 1>that had the airhorn.
<v Speaker 2>Which is funny, which is tremendous.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I mean the closest thing was Fonsie with the
<v Speaker 1>whistle right like no airporn though. So, as James said,
<v Speaker 1>we have the Spirit Squad against the Odds Squad, and
<v Speaker 1>the odd Squad come out here and it's it's fucking Eugene,
<v Speaker 1>it's Nitsky and it's gold Dust and I'm like, wow,
<v Speaker 1>one insane Team two. Gold Dust is fucking always here.
<v Speaker 2>Hey, gold Dust is gonna work.
<v Speaker 1>Well, Just so you know, by the way, he's very
<v Speaker 1>shortly not here from WWE. I'm pretty sure he's gone
<v Speaker 1>very soon. Here, and I think that's when he goes
<v Speaker 1>to TNA.
<v Speaker 2>And becomes Black Rain.
<v Speaker 1>Yes, oh dude.
<v Speaker 2>The odd Squad makes their entrances here and they all
<v Speaker 2>come out to Eugene's song, and I swear to God
<v Speaker 2>and I might be remembered this wrong. I feel like
<v Speaker 2>Joey Styles the first thing that came out of his
<v Speaker 2>mouth was like, well, we have this foot fetish freak here, dude, which.
<v Speaker 1>One it seemed better James, because he does. He's not
<v Speaker 1>shy about it. That's the only thing I wrote about
<v Speaker 1>these entrances. Joey Styles says, well, we got this foot
<v Speaker 1>fetish freak snitsky here.
<v Speaker 2>Hey, hey, manail both of us is kind of like
<v Speaker 2>weird or solidd Yeah, I fuck these guys.
<v Speaker 1>Eugene's just here too, okay. By the way, we didn't mention.
<v Speaker 1>By the way, this is one night removed from Backlash.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know if we mentioned that Backlash was a
<v Speaker 1>night before this. So they're recapping Backlash a lot here tonight.
<v Speaker 1>And last time on Backlash, Eugene was in Matt Striker's classroom,
<v Speaker 1>which was of course another talk seg James on the show.
<v Speaker 2>On the pay per view.
<v Speaker 1>Mmmmm, yes, a schedule.
<v Speaker 2>Or was a w W talking show segment on the
<v Speaker 2>pay per view.
<v Speaker 1>With Matt Striker and you and Eugene pick this. Okay,
<v Speaker 1>this did get a good laugh at me, just because
<v Speaker 1>it's so fucking ridiculous. It sounds like it was like
<v Speaker 1>something we would fucking just write, or like we would
<v Speaker 1>fucking riff on the show. Eugene's in Matchwarkers classroom picking
<v Speaker 1>his nose. Matchwarker says, don't pick your nose and eat it,
<v Speaker 1>so your Eugene makes match Striker eat a booger and
<v Speaker 1>then it's one the starter.
<v Speaker 2>Scammer gets scammed.
<v Speaker 1>Like the fucker part was fucking fine enough. Eugene, I
<v Speaker 1>forgot that. Eugene does all the top guys moves. He
<v Speaker 1>sends with a stone called start. What the fuck is
<v Speaker 1>going on in this company? We're making Bunny here, fucker.
<v Speaker 2>Two thousand and six was awesome, man Like, there was
<v Speaker 2>so much cool shit going on and man like, what
<v Speaker 2>a what a great fucking year to exist, man Like,
<v Speaker 2>y'all want to play runskape for nothing? Like really, really.
<v Speaker 1>We're watching snitsky bitch, Like, really, guys, you don't.
<v Speaker 2>Like warld warcraft, have that Bernie Crusade's coming out around
<v Speaker 2>this point.
<v Speaker 1>You don't play that, No, come on, we got Raw
<v Speaker 1>is on. I mean, like we don't have time to
<v Speaker 1>watch the fucking I don't know what else was out there,
<v Speaker 1>what other games? Here's a war Twilight, Princess Bullieve.
<v Speaker 5>Yeah, wow, dumb, we gotta find Maria dom now, fucking
<v Speaker 5>turn that off.
<v Speaker 1>I gotta see the gold Dust match.
<v Speaker 5>Snitzky's got a foot, fetish, domb, Dumb, gold Dust is
<v Speaker 5>on Raw.
<v Speaker 2>Who's teaming with.
<v Speaker 5>Domb the pushing candy from the Spear squad?
<v Speaker 1>No not Kenny Omega Dog. By the way, Snitsky and
<v Speaker 1>gold Dust are like I have been teeming for a
<v Speaker 1>little bit here on heat have come to understand, dear.
<v Speaker 1>So that's why they have this special handshake at the beginning.
<v Speaker 3>Oh I didn't even notice a special handshake.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, they did a little little handshake at the start
<v Speaker 1>here is because just to show that they're boys. And
<v Speaker 1>then they fired gold Dust because.
<v Speaker 2>Of it, gold Dust in Eugene gold Dust and Snitsky
<v Speaker 2>oh okay, even had something to do with the foot.
<v Speaker 1>No, sadly it was not. It was not to do
<v Speaker 1>with the foot, just kind of little finger. Uh you
<v Speaker 1>can visualize that.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, very rocket power asking.
<v Speaker 1>I yeah, that's exactly what it was. Actually.
<v Speaker 2>So Mikey starts off with gold Dust and after a
<v Speaker 2>few arm drags go Dust decides he doesn't want to
<v Speaker 2>wrestle at all on this match anymore.
<v Speaker 1>Dude. Something definitely goes wrong here, right, Like gold Dust
<v Speaker 1>was supposed to come back in this match.
<v Speaker 2>He just didn't want to, you know, That's what they
<v Speaker 2>were doing earlier. It is like a little case fab
<v Speaker 2>sign there, you know. Ah, So we go backstage here
<v Speaker 2>during the match, Candace Michelle is here with Vince McMahon
<v Speaker 2>and she gives Vince a drink and cuddles up with
<v Speaker 2>them to watch Spirit Squad versus Eugene gold Dust and
<v Speaker 2>Jean Snitzky.
<v Speaker 1>Vince is there with a big smile on his face.
<v Speaker 1>There's no fucking chance he was watching this. He was
<v Speaker 1>watching something entirely different. He's watching goddamn I mean, has
<v Speaker 1>justin TV started yet. He's watching his stream. He's watching
<v Speaker 1>a man versus game. He's not fucking with the Spirit Squad.
<v Speaker 2>He's on that G four TV. He's watching X play.
<v Speaker 1>No, no one's ever sat there with a big smile
<v Speaker 1>on their face watching his Spirit Squad six man.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, he didn't even leave. What the hell he said,
<v Speaker 2>you're gonna take the night off, get out of here.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, with the fly he's the night off, is relaxing backstage,
<v Speaker 1>and now he's got a drink with Candace Michelle.
<v Speaker 2>Commentary informs us that Spirit Squad beat Big Show in
<v Speaker 2>Caine for the tag titles, which sounds fucking insane.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, well, I'm assuming it was something to do with one,
<v Speaker 1>there's fucking there's five of them, Jesus two. Uh, they're
<v Speaker 1>doing like the cane fucking May nineteenth shit. So he
<v Speaker 1>probably just lost his mind and hit Big Show with
<v Speaker 1>a joke slam or some shit.
<v Speaker 2>Well, Mikey comes in and starts throwing cross faced lines
<v Speaker 2>to Eugene so hard that Eugene has to actually cover up,
<v Speaker 2>and then he locks into Cobra clutch.
<v Speaker 1>Dude, I thought that was awesome. He was really giving
<v Speaker 1>it to him too.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I mean, if Mikey got fifteen more seconds, so
<v Speaker 2>he was going to hit a tiger driver on his gay.
<v Speaker 1>He's saying that for his rh TV title run Well
<v Speaker 1>the foot Fetish Freak jeen sniff, that's right. I mean like,
<v Speaker 1>what does.
<v Speaker 2>That have to do with this guy's like anything at all?
<v Speaker 2>What is what is what is happening here? They must
<v Speaker 2>have ribbed him, they must have found he likes he
<v Speaker 2>likes feet, and they were like, that's your on screen deal,
<v Speaker 2>Like that has to be your on.
<v Speaker 1>Screen that's one hundred what happened, yeah, because like it
<v Speaker 1>doesn't change anything about his character, Like nothing nothing here
<v Speaker 1>is about feet.
<v Speaker 2>He doesn't like stop and look at feet, He doesn't
<v Speaker 2>like do anything. Anytime ge Stinsky comes in, the only
<v Speaker 2>thing that happens is they say, wow, look at that freak.
<v Speaker 1>No one even try to taunt him with the feet,
<v Speaker 1>like someone has a really nice foot. They take their
<v Speaker 1>boot off and he's like, whoa, he's Stacy Keeler apron spot.
<v Speaker 2>I'm sure that happens on heat or something. I'm just like,
<v Speaker 2>I'm just trying to understand, Like did they just keep
<v Speaker 2>this guy around? And just like anytime they came up
<v Speaker 2>with the world's worst gimmick, they were like, let's just
<v Speaker 2>see if Snitsky will do it, And every time he
<v Speaker 2>said yes, because he goes from this character where he's
<v Speaker 2>the foot fetish freak. I mean, that's his deal and
<v Speaker 2>then he goes into the new gimmick of I Am
<v Speaker 2>the ugliest man alive. They rub butter on his face, dude. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>and they like got him to actually get acne.
<v Speaker 1>And shit yeah, and his teeth up.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah. He was there for a minute because of it.
<v Speaker 2>Just for the one h d bit and then never again.
<v Speaker 1>Right dud, that was all his for him then tirely Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>He uh, I mean he comes in here, he's a
<v Speaker 1>house of fire.
<v Speaker 2>He's hitting all the big moves. Yeah, he comes in
<v Speaker 2>for like ten seconds and Jerry Lawler says, what does
<v Speaker 2>he smell feet or something? Holy shit? Yeah, So the
<v Speaker 2>foot fetish freak Gene Snitsky comes in. Jerry Lawler says,
<v Speaker 2>what does he smell? Feet or something? And then Eugene
<v Speaker 2>hits the rock bottom for a double down, just one
<v Speaker 2>Holy fucking shit, dude, They say, Eugene just hit the rock.
<v Speaker 1>This this guy like fucking feet. Well, look at that
<v Speaker 1>freak over there you do with the rock bottom? Oh,
<v Speaker 1>here's his fucking freak friend. Does Snitsky get hurt here?
<v Speaker 2>By the way, I have no idea.
<v Speaker 1>Snitsky like kills Dolf Ziggler with a running big boot
<v Speaker 1>and then he's like, they're Gene up for a tag,
<v Speaker 1>and Sninsky is definitely supposed to tag gold Dust. He
<v Speaker 1>just kind of shittily tags Eugene and then rolls out.
<v Speaker 2>Well he should have done is double stack this triple
<v Speaker 2>stack this bear squad in the corner and then raised
<v Speaker 2>the roof and then shoved his as their faces.
<v Speaker 1>Oh my god, what's true? This fucking guy he's doing
<v Speaker 1>the longer stands up on the waving at the fucking ring.
<v Speaker 1>I fucking stop it. You're disgusting.
<v Speaker 2>You like feet oh my sons.
<v Speaker 1>For just in the middle of the bets me k you,
<v Speaker 1>Oh my god, sit back do Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>So Eugene goes for the stone called stunner here. Okay, right,
<v Speaker 2>but Johnny hits the Johnny go Round kick on Eugene
<v Speaker 2>and picks up the wind.
<v Speaker 1>One great name, two great moves, the fucking trouble Paradise. Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>My favorite thing about this team is the taunt spamming
<v Speaker 2>they do. And they didn't do it.
<v Speaker 1>No, they didn't because this dude, okay even stranger. They
<v Speaker 1>didn't really cheat to win here at all. They kind
<v Speaker 1>of just kicked Snitsky gold Dust and Eugene's s and one.
<v Speaker 2>That's what I'm saying, Like, what's going on here? Like,
<v Speaker 2>I feel like there was so much more to do
<v Speaker 2>with this than they did.
<v Speaker 1>Dude, he hits a Johnny go around, Nicky and Mikey
<v Speaker 1>running shotgun drop kick two styles Snitzky because they hate
<v Speaker 1>him and to cut him off for breaking up the
<v Speaker 1>pin Spirits Squad not only win, then the faces go
<v Speaker 1>up the ramp and the Spirits Squad stand tall in
<v Speaker 1>the ring challenging him to come back for more.
<v Speaker 2>I was waiting for Mike Mondo to do the taut
<v Speaker 2>with the.
<v Speaker 1>Hands, dude, Yes, yes, that's fucking.
<v Speaker 2>He's like throwing his feet back and ship. Yeah, get
<v Speaker 2>another guy out here to scratch his ass on the match.
<v Speaker 1>Is that Mikey or Mitch that does it?
<v Speaker 2>Or Johnny maybe Mitch, I don't know. Somebody come out
<v Speaker 2>here and scratch her ass in.
<v Speaker 1>The matt Now do the monkey assue fucking tar.
<v Speaker 2>Mike Monda, do the deal man.
<v Speaker 1>Fucking Dolf Ziggler, get a clue? Why not?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah?
<v Speaker 1>Figure it out? Yeah, dude, why the fuck are the
<v Speaker 1>Spirits squad? Like, Okay, I get it, that's the odd
<v Speaker 1>squad whatever, but shit, man, like Goldas has been here
<v Speaker 1>fucking twenty years. The Spirits Quad kick their ass and
<v Speaker 1>stand tall. Not even shitty.
<v Speaker 2>Gold Dust is a multi time champion of this fucking
<v Speaker 2>yeah man, he's a world champion of all of us.
<v Speaker 1>Eugene does all the top guy moves, so he's probably
<v Speaker 1>a top guy. And we fucking hate.
<v Speaker 2>This guy likes feet. It's a formal team.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah man, it's ridiculous. I don't know. The show is
<v Speaker 1>all over the place.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I feel like they had some pieces here. It
<v Speaker 2>was just one of those weeks.
<v Speaker 1>Man.
<v Speaker 2>Well, during the commercial break, Maria steals the Great Colleagues gimmick,
<v Speaker 2>It does the yes cam and uh, Mickey James attacks
<v Speaker 2>her because there's no disrespect to the Great Collie in
<v Speaker 2>this comedy. No, of course not.
<v Speaker 1>You weren't watching WWE dot com Unlimited. Like you couldn't.
<v Speaker 1>You had enough of raw that you didn't want to
<v Speaker 1>tune in to w dot com to see what happened
<v Speaker 1>during the commercials.
<v Speaker 2>I was playing the Elder Scrolls for oblivion. Uh like
<v Speaker 2>most normal people probably.
<v Speaker 1>No all of everyone. We yes, we were watching w
<v Speaker 1>W dot Com Unlimited.
<v Speaker 2>I yes, I was playing the Elder Crolls for oblivion you. Yes,
<v Speaker 2>you were watching the foot Fetish Freaks. You can get
<v Speaker 2>on your phone and you were playing my phone in
<v Speaker 2>two thousand six. Holy shit, I'm downloading JPEGs takes an hour.
<v Speaker 2>What am I downloading?
<v Speaker 1>You're watching the stream. I'm unlimited.
<v Speaker 2>I can get fifteen minutes of the internet for twenty
<v Speaker 2>nine ninety nine.
<v Speaker 1>And you want to watch the kiss cam.
<v Speaker 2>Holy shit, I can get Equity Hunger Force videos. Sit
<v Speaker 2>to me, it takes forty five minutes to get my
<v Speaker 2>to my phone. It's four minutes long, and I can't
<v Speaker 2>understand what beat Watts saying.
<v Speaker 1>I'm spending the rest of my night getting John and
<v Speaker 1>Michael's wallpaper.
<v Speaker 2>I'm getting SNS spammed. I'm getting fucked over here. This
<v Speaker 2>costs me money.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, see, you're getting Asky Cox said to you, I'll
<v Speaker 1>watch it common limited.
<v Speaker 2>Fuck you. I'm waiting until nine pm to make calls. Yes,
<v Speaker 2>that's right. In two thousand and six, this was still Thank.
<v Speaker 1>God I forgot about that. Wow.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah that's right.
<v Speaker 1>Wow, that's fucking crazy.
<v Speaker 2>I gotta wait until the raw Zone comes on.
<v Speaker 1>It's common to make a fuck call. Yeah, Mickey hits
<v Speaker 1>her fucking leaping DDTV Mickey DT. They really didn't dial
<v Speaker 1>that name in here.
<v Speaker 2>Huh.
<v Speaker 1>We're gonna takes this DDT pretty well though, I give
<v Speaker 1>her that.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, it looked good. I think it did look good. Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>If you were watching about common Limit and instead of
<v Speaker 1>being some Gerbrodi Mark, you would have fucking sawd this.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah all right, well you call Halo too. We'll see
<v Speaker 2>what you think when I put you down fifteen and
<v Speaker 2>oh on Warlock singles. You know, let's see what it
<v Speaker 2>really goes down.
<v Speaker 1>What's something done? Watching row for all of it that,
<v Speaker 1>I'll consider it.
<v Speaker 2>Don't make a call to my home either, I'll knock
<v Speaker 2>me out the air innet. We go backstage. Eugene is
<v Speaker 2>back here. He gets asked how he feels about losing
<v Speaker 2>to the Spirit Squad and he says, well, it doesn't
<v Speaker 2>feel very good. Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>Todd Grisham is here to interview him, and he says
<v Speaker 1>the Spirit Squad insisted I ask you how it felt
<v Speaker 1>to lose, and Eugene said, well, it didn't feel very good.
<v Speaker 1>If there's one thing my uncle Eric Bischoff wanted me
<v Speaker 1>to remember, it was to never quit. Oh wait, no wait,
<v Speaker 1>uncle Eric wanted me to quit every day. Uncle Eric
<v Speaker 1>was a jerk. He turns into the camera, he looks
<v Speaker 1>right in the camera. He gets my butt, Uncle Eric.
<v Speaker 1>At least I still have a job. He does the
<v Speaker 1>junkyard dog taunt.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, so he just fucking hits him with a book. Huh, dude.
<v Speaker 1>Mattreger runs in an violates him with a big ass
<v Speaker 1>dictionary and then he tells him to look the word
<v Speaker 1>up in the dictionary. They should have had Matt Striker
<v Speaker 1>doing concerto with two dictionaries.
<v Speaker 2>I had to pause for a second after this segment,
<v Speaker 2>by the way, and just like take a breather. Oh,
<v Speaker 2>because like every ounce of my fucking being, Like I
<v Speaker 2>knew I had to watch this for the show and
<v Speaker 2>write notes and all that shit, of course, but I
<v Speaker 2>had to fight against my better judgment of just closing
<v Speaker 2>the show out because it pissed me off so fucking bad.
<v Speaker 1>Like I cannot believe that, Like I.
<v Speaker 2>Just watched a segment with Matt Striker hitting Eugene with
<v Speaker 2>a book and that's the big angle and they're doing
<v Speaker 2>something with this on the show.
<v Speaker 1>Dude, this started at a pay per view, Like this
<v Speaker 1>is an ongoing angle match. Striker at his books.
<v Speaker 2>It angered me to see this and I had to
<v Speaker 2>dial it back in to lock in.
<v Speaker 1>I appreciate that, buddy. Yeah, of course that's very nice
<v Speaker 1>to you, because like, yeah, you you could have just
<v Speaker 1>messaged me and said no more like and I would
<v Speaker 1>have understood, like that happens, right, There's sometimes we could
<v Speaker 1>throw a flag on the play on in some episodes.
<v Speaker 2>Sometimes it's just not worth it. I had to stand
<v Speaker 2>up and take a breathe. I started shadowed box in
<v Speaker 2>our room. I said, I'm like that. I'm like that,
<v Speaker 2>I'm gonna sit back down. I'm ana finish the show.
<v Speaker 1>I could do it. I could do it. I got this, Well,
<v Speaker 1>what a mistake. You should have just fucking messaged me
<v Speaker 1>and said let's not do this one.
<v Speaker 2>So we get a segment here where WWE twenty four
<v Speaker 2>to seven presents this week in wrestling history.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I'm guessing that we're doing this often. And then
<v Speaker 1>this was like the Vince being an asshole version of it,
<v Speaker 1>because it's Vince doing a voice over here and it's
<v Speaker 1>Vince narrating over the match that they just had a
<v Speaker 1>backlash last night where it was Vince and Shane taking
<v Speaker 1>on Shawn Michaels and God and Vince says on April
<v Speaker 1>already twousand and six, Vincent Kenny McMahon and the product
<v Speaker 1>of his Seamen Shane McMahon did.
<v Speaker 2>He was really into that at the time. I remember
<v Speaker 2>this phrase.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, the Seman thing. Mm hmmm, yeah, yeah, that was well, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>of course it was. Of course it was. He said,
<v Speaker 1>we faced one of our greatest oh sorry, faced one
<v Speaker 1>of their greatest trials when they chung Shaw Michaels and
<v Speaker 1>his Savior and tag team partner God. So they show
<v Speaker 1>some spots here from the match, one involving Sean doing
<v Speaker 1>a running crossbody off the stage to Vince. That was
<v Speaker 1>fucking pretty crazy.
<v Speaker 2>I gotta say, in a million years, I never thought
<v Speaker 2>I would hear the phrase the passion of mcmahonism would
<v Speaker 2>not be denied. I literally cannot believe I just heard
<v Speaker 2>the phrase mcmahonism. It should not be a phrase. Actually
<v Speaker 2>that I said, insane.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah. Uh. They do a spot here where Sean is
<v Speaker 1>on top of a ladder and Shane and Vince are
<v Speaker 1>on two tables and He's gonna elbow drop them, presumably.
<v Speaker 1>But the Spirit Squad, if you didn't get enough the
<v Speaker 1>Spirit squad come out here and Sean jumps on all
<v Speaker 1>of them. Well, then Spirits squad kick the shit out
<v Speaker 1>of Sean, and this part's cool. At least they hit
<v Speaker 1>their finish on Sewan through a table, which if you
<v Speaker 1>haven't seen the Spirits Squad finish, o oh boy, is
<v Speaker 1>this thing fucking insane. It's everyone in the group grabs
<v Speaker 1>one of Sean's limbs and they throw him as high
<v Speaker 1>as possible in the air to throw him through a table.
<v Speaker 2>Dude, I love this. Also, they launch Sean Michael's about
<v Speaker 2>five hundred feet in the fucking ear. I mean they
<v Speaker 2>legit about lose him in the lights. There's only one
<v Speaker 2>guy holding like the bare end of his foot by
<v Speaker 2>the end of this, so he doesn't get lost.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, fuck dude, Like he he goes flying and this
<v Speaker 1>table breaks into a million pieces, Like this is sick.
<v Speaker 2>It looked awesome.
<v Speaker 1>Man.
<v Speaker 2>I would have launched Sean Michaels through that fucking table
<v Speaker 2>like that, and then I would have dragged my ass
<v Speaker 2>on the ground on the arms taun.
<v Speaker 1>Like get some heat.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, do the dog dragging their ass around the ring
<v Speaker 2>on Sean Michael's just going to circle around to everyone.
<v Speaker 1>Else is doing the fucking crazy gorilla. Dan said, this
<v Speaker 1>fucking one, dud. Dudes, Yeah, let him rip.
<v Speaker 2>Do Eugene's pissing on you top like go crazy in there, guys.
<v Speaker 1>Blow an airhorn in his face, give like get him
<v Speaker 1>it to him, Like how many chances you're gonna get?
<v Speaker 1>They should have did they easily with how high they
<v Speaker 1>got him, They could have thrown him up by all
<v Speaker 1>of his limbs and launched him out of the ring
<v Speaker 1>through the announced table.
<v Speaker 2>Dude, I mean it is so high. I couldn't believe it.
<v Speaker 2>I've seen this move a few times, but man, they
<v Speaker 2>really do launch Sean like super in the air there.
<v Speaker 1>Good for him for taking it too. I imagine it's
<v Speaker 1>the last time he ever took it as well.
<v Speaker 2>I guess we'll see. Yeah. Sure we go backstage the
<v Speaker 2>Big Three of two thousand and six raw back here
<v Speaker 2>watching the monitor, we have sewn Michael's Big Show and
<v Speaker 2>Charlie Haass.
<v Speaker 1>What what the fuck is dude? I swore I was like, Okay,
<v Speaker 1>Charlie Hoskins is ass kicked here or something happens? No,
<v Speaker 1>this is the new Click Big Shows. Seawn Michaels and
<v Speaker 1>Charlie os they're here holding court in the locker room
<v Speaker 1>watching w Unlimited.
<v Speaker 2>Of course.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>The Spirits squad come in and they tell hb K
<v Speaker 2>they'll be the special guest referee for the next match,
<v Speaker 2>which is Rob Conway versus Kane.
<v Speaker 1>Like you guys, right, Okay, Mitch doing the Chris Danger
<v Speaker 1>guy fucking six times. And the more I watched, I said, wow,
<v Speaker 1>this is Chris Chris on the so yeah, as you say,
<v Speaker 1>they they well they Mitch goes leave. He says one
<v Speaker 1>more thing, you got your own referee shirt, and he
<v Speaker 1>hands them a yellow shirt and all over it in
<v Speaker 1>different sized text and fonts says May nineteenth. And I realized, Oh,
<v Speaker 1>that's that's why this is going on. I see we're
<v Speaker 1>in the May nineteenth era here of Caine's career. Big Show,
<v Speaker 1>by the way, gives Sean some encouraging words of you'll
<v Speaker 1>figure something out. You've been around a long time. Okay,
<v Speaker 1>thank you, big dog. I appreciate that you're not gonna
<v Speaker 1>help me. May nineteenth.
<v Speaker 2>Huh yeah, what's that mean?
<v Speaker 1>Well, of course, James, you should know because we've watched
<v Speaker 1>this movie together. May nineteenth, two thou and six is
<v Speaker 1>when Cino Evil came out.
<v Speaker 2>Oh yeah, hell yeah, yeah, we.
<v Speaker 1>Watched that, and that's on our Patreon. Actually we watched that,
<v Speaker 1>and uh, they made this whole angle about that where
<v Speaker 1>Caine goes fucking crazy when we could talk about that
<v Speaker 1>here obviously, after, of course, we talk about w dot
<v Speaker 1>com talking about Backlash.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, so ww dot com has all the updates from Backlash.
<v Speaker 2>I love that they showed this super dated picture of
<v Speaker 2>the website.
<v Speaker 1>I love that. Actually it uh, I feel very nostalgic.
<v Speaker 1>It shows up shot at Triple H from the pay
<v Speaker 1>per view, super bloody, great fucking gig work here, Joey says, King,
<v Speaker 1>what a night it was? You were there? And King says,
<v Speaker 1>that's right, I was there, you were not. Okay, don't
<v Speaker 1>get to hying fucking God, make it weird, goddamn, And
<v Speaker 1>he says, well, what about Can in the Big Show?
<v Speaker 1>And Joey says, well, that is something we got to discuss.
<v Speaker 1>A strange situation as Caine seems to be haunted by
<v Speaker 1>this traumatic date from his past, which I'm not gonna say,
<v Speaker 1>and they recap Can versus the Big Show from Backlash,
<v Speaker 1>which during the match the lights go all red and
<v Speaker 1>then very obviously Caine over the PA whispers May nineteenth
<v Speaker 1>a bunch and do you know what happened on that date? Caane?
<v Speaker 1>And this makes Caine freak out so much that he
<v Speaker 1>starts headbutting the bottom turn buckle and Big Show to
<v Speaker 1>resolve this conflict where he is conflicted that his friend
<v Speaker 1>is going crazy, his plan is to hit Caine in
<v Speaker 1>the head with a steeled chair and.
<v Speaker 2>Then leave knock some sense into him.
<v Speaker 1>Well, Caine sits up and starts laughing about it, So
<v Speaker 1>I guess it might have did something for him.
<v Speaker 2>I'm gonna guess the entire arena, including the Big Show,
<v Speaker 2>could hear all this shit.
<v Speaker 1>No, that was inside Kane's head. We just happened to
<v Speaker 1>be able to hear that on the broadcast.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, they're like playing Kane's voice over the deal there.
<v Speaker 2>I imagine everyone two thousand and six just like, good God,
<v Speaker 2>just like come.
<v Speaker 1>On, No, They're like, good god, this is awesome.
<v Speaker 2>Oh my god. So we have Rob Conway versus Cane
<v Speaker 2>up next.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, Sean of course comes out. Uh, he has to
<v Speaker 1>wear the May nineteenth referee shirt. They could alwayst put
<v Speaker 1>stripes on this fucking thing, so I look like a
<v Speaker 1>ref shirt, but it's just a yellow shirt that is
<v Speaker 1>May nineteenth. To make them stand out as much as possible.
<v Speaker 1>He comes out here, but more importantly, just look at me.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah yeah.
<v Speaker 2>Rob Conway pantomimes the yeah from his theme song.
<v Speaker 1>By the way, Rob Conway sings his entire theme down
<v Speaker 1>to the ring and he points at the camera, which
<v Speaker 1>means he has to die.
<v Speaker 2>This is just La Night, Like, this is legit La Night, dude.
<v Speaker 2>I was like, wow, holy shit, two thousand and six,
<v Speaker 2>La Night.
<v Speaker 1>It's funny. We just watched recently the end of Rob
<v Speaker 1>Conway and w E and this is like, this has
<v Speaker 1>to be the beginning of a flourishing story.
<v Speaker 2>Right, I mean, he's good to get his ass kicked.
<v Speaker 1>I like Rob Conway here, that's his whole fucking angle
<v Speaker 1>here as Wow, this guy loses a lot hungh guys.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, So HBK checks for foreign objects on Rob Conway
<v Speaker 2>when he gets in the ring and just low blows
<v Speaker 2>the shit out of him.
<v Speaker 1>Dude punches him in the balls because Rob Conway was
<v Speaker 1>fucking making fun of his shirt. So HBK low blows
<v Speaker 1>him and then Sean takes the shirt off. He has
<v Speaker 1>a rough shirt on under it, and he puts the
<v Speaker 1>main nine Teeth shirt on Rob Conway.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, and it takes a damn long Hbk's all right,
<v Speaker 2>come on, come on, hit k's music.
<v Speaker 1>Come on, guys, because Rob Conway don't know, maybe he
<v Speaker 1>was supposed to sell a longer or whatever. But Rob
<v Speaker 1>Conway is like starting to get up and he just
<v Speaker 1>looks fucking stupid because he is not taking the shirt off.
<v Speaker 1>So once Kine starts coming out, now Sean is holding
<v Speaker 1>grub Conway so he doesn't look like an idiot keeping
<v Speaker 1>his shirt on.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, Caine comes out here with the fresh line right
<v Speaker 2>on the top of his head. That's evil, man.
<v Speaker 1>Get that shit cleaned up from me by man.
<v Speaker 2>That shit is mean and evil.
<v Speaker 1>Somehow less of a freak and snitsky though this guy.
<v Speaker 2>Kane seems normal compared to the foot fetish frea. Sean
<v Speaker 2>Michaels throws Rob Conway over the ropes and Kane starts
<v Speaker 2>kicking his ass.
<v Speaker 1>Dude, he beats the fuck out of him. He's I mean,
<v Speaker 1>he sees the shirt, which well if one he sees
<v Speaker 1>the shirt and then he starts punching himself in the
<v Speaker 1>head because uh, that's when you do when you go
<v Speaker 1>through a traumatic thing, you just fucking slam your head
<v Speaker 1>into a bunch of shit very often and get your
<v Speaker 1>hair lined up real nice dude, it's so so clean.
<v Speaker 1>It's like the straightest cut ever. Actually, like at haven't
<v Speaker 1>impressed how even it is.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, something very traumatic happened to Kane on May nineteenth.
<v Speaker 2>But also, just so you guys know, the new feature
<v Speaker 2>link film produced by WWS Videos that features Kane. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>that's coming out on May nine. Also, so you guys
<v Speaker 2>should go check that one out.
<v Speaker 1>He actually can see into the future. The traumatic event
<v Speaker 1>is the horrible box office for Sino.
<v Speaker 2>No, no, hey man, he gets a second one?
<v Speaker 1>You know what? He does, get a second one. Actually,
<v Speaker 1>now that I gotta check, I wonder what was the
<v Speaker 1>box office. I'm sure we talked about this. H Sino
<v Speaker 1>EVI grossed fifteen million in North America in three point
<v Speaker 1>eight million in other territories against the budget of eight million.
<v Speaker 2>Oh fuck, there it is. It succeeded. If you do
<v Speaker 2>double the budget, you're good.
<v Speaker 1>How about that?
<v Speaker 2>How about that?
<v Speaker 1>Maybe he must a second one. He looked superhead to
<v Speaker 1>May nineteen, two thousand and seven, which was bad box office.
<v Speaker 2>Shortly Yeah, I wanted to make Jacob Goodnight like a
<v Speaker 2>new horror icon.
<v Speaker 1>Gave up on that pretty quick.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, it just didn't work, man, No, I mean it's Kane, man.
<v Speaker 1>That's I mean, like they wouldn't have legit been better
<v Speaker 1>off making Kane the movie.
<v Speaker 2>If Kane saw the mask on his shit, and like
<v Speaker 2>Jacob Goodnight was Kane with the mask off of shit,
<v Speaker 2>it probably could have worked. Okay, that's just Kane, man. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>but that's just big showing Kane like that. That's like
<v Speaker 2>the tag team champ right there.
<v Speaker 5>Man.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, man, he's wrestling with Spirits Squad like. That's Kane.
<v Speaker 1>He just lost to them. Actually, I don't know what
<v Speaker 1>you want from me.
<v Speaker 2>He's been taking a beating on TV for a minute too.
<v Speaker 1>You could argue, though, you could argue that See No
<v Speaker 1>Evil might be the best W Studios produced movie.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know. I remember lacking Oculus a lot.
<v Speaker 1>Was that a W Studios movie? Uh? Huh? Oh shit?
<v Speaker 1>Is there a wrestler in Oculas?
<v Speaker 2>I don't even remember. I don't think there was. There
<v Speaker 2>might have been a cameo or something, but no, it
<v Speaker 2>wasn't even They actually went for a good movie here.
<v Speaker 1>During a scene in which the mirror is put up
<v Speaker 1>for auction. The auctionaire mentions as the item as was
<v Speaker 1>recovered by the Laveca state a reference to Triple h Ah.
<v Speaker 2>There you go. Oh there, yeah, there it is.
<v Speaker 1>Triple h is in it. And that's why I did well.
<v Speaker 2>Sean Mike was bringing Rob Conway back into the ring.
<v Speaker 2>Here he holds up Rob and points to his shirt
<v Speaker 2>and Caine comes at him like a bull.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, I actually did think that was pretty fucking funny,
<v Speaker 1>like blatantly lifting the shirt up that Rob Conway is wearing,
<v Speaker 1>a pointing down say just kick this guy's like an ass, Like,
<v Speaker 1>look at it, What the fuck is this guy's in.
<v Speaker 2>This is a famous picture, by the way, whenever you
<v Speaker 2>look up May nineteen, it's always Sean pointing at this shirt.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know if I knew it was Rob Conway
<v Speaker 1>wearing it, to be honest, so this was hitting the lore.
<v Speaker 2>I didn't know it was either. Yeah, I've seen that
<v Speaker 2>image like one hundred times, especially since we started Deadlock,
<v Speaker 2>and like it has never been Rob Conway to me
<v Speaker 2>until right now.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, a legend in the game, Rob Conway. He's done
<v Speaker 1>a lot more than I realized Joe's look at him.
<v Speaker 2>Hbk grabs a trash can from underneath the ring and
<v Speaker 2>stands there looking away till Kane grabs the trash can
<v Speaker 2>and he destroys Rob Conway in the head with it.
<v Speaker 1>He hits Rob Conway as hard as humanly possible with
<v Speaker 1>his fucking trash can like he annihilates him at one point.
<v Speaker 1>By the way, Kan like threw Rob Conway in the
<v Speaker 1>ring and Conway is trying to crawl away and Kane
<v Speaker 1>jumped on him as style. I thought he was gonna
<v Speaker 1>visagra him. He did not, though, he just punched him
<v Speaker 1>in the back of the head a bunch.
<v Speaker 2>Wow, that would have been nuts if he visagrid him.
<v Speaker 1>Well, that was like an ode to the movie where
<v Speaker 1>he has a three foot con.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, that veata that.
<v Speaker 1>Kane is going into business for himself. He had something
<v Speaker 1>to prove he's taking shit and Rob Conway's used to
<v Speaker 1>take it that move, so he would have taken the best.
<v Speaker 2>Kine then rips the shirt off of Rob Conway. He
<v Speaker 2>hits a choke slam and leaves. He doesn't even pin him.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, no, he was over it. The shirt was gone,
<v Speaker 1>so Caine he doesn't care about winning and losing. Here
<v Speaker 1>in the we, nobody does, so why would he not
<v Speaker 1>just leave? Well, Sean michaels and grabs a mic and
<v Speaker 1>he leans down next to Rob Conway and he starts
<v Speaker 1>just yelling May nineteenth, May nineteenth, and then Sean puts
<v Speaker 1>the mic on Rob Conway and turned knees around at
<v Speaker 1>the perfect time to see that the mic is just
<v Speaker 1>on Rob Conway. So Kane comes back, and then Bucket
<v Speaker 1>hits Rob Conway with a tombstone.
<v Speaker 2>So HBK grabbed the mic shout at May nineteen in
<v Speaker 2>the most Sean Michael's sounding voice.
<v Speaker 1>Of all try to hide it. Yeah, not.
<v Speaker 2>Is like exactly one to one. If you close your eyes,
<v Speaker 2>you weren't even at wrestling, if you were just in
<v Speaker 2>the street in New York and you close your eyes
<v Speaker 2>and Sean Michael said May nineteen, You like, that's fucking
<v Speaker 2>Sean Michael's that's the heartbreak kid, that's HBK.
<v Speaker 1>Dude. He could have just got on he could have
<v Speaker 1>just got on the mic and said, hey, it's Sean
<v Speaker 1>Michael's May nineteen.
<v Speaker 2>It's not Kane, because he thought that was Rob Conway,
<v Speaker 2>which I have heard that a lot of people were
<v Speaker 2>drawing comparisons between the Heartbreak Kid and Rob Conways.
<v Speaker 1>He's next, you know, he's the next one, right, I
<v Speaker 1>mean he it would have been the Raw six if
<v Speaker 1>they really had to figured some stuff out here. It's
<v Speaker 1>just Rob Conway. They didn't get them there. It was
<v Speaker 1>their fault.
<v Speaker 2>So Kine comes back and he hits the tombstone and
<v Speaker 2>wins the match, and yeah, man, there it is May nineteenth.
<v Speaker 2>That's coming.
<v Speaker 1>Kine does it over the shoulder style too. By the way,
<v Speaker 1>he doesn't go full You knew Rob Conway's shit would
<v Speaker 1>poke him in the eyes.
<v Speaker 2>Come on, that's Mark Gingerack.
<v Speaker 1>Oh right, well you know they're saying that Mark Jindrag
<v Speaker 1>is the next Rob Conway.
<v Speaker 2>Well, what the hell happens on May nineteenth in WWE here?
<v Speaker 1>Okay, so on May nineteenth, because it we're pretty close
<v Speaker 1>to this here, so they what the actual because it
<v Speaker 1>ends up they do the fake Caine thing with fucking Festus,
<v Speaker 1>which there not only should we review that, we might
<v Speaker 1>have to like review that soon because that's like coming
<v Speaker 1>up here May nineteenth, isn't it. If there was ever
<v Speaker 1>time to fucking talk about the fake Cane shit, good lord. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>we would have to fucking make a judgment call there,
<v Speaker 1>So that doesn't happen on May nineteenth. The fake Kane
<v Speaker 1>thing is not on May nineteenth. On May nineteenth is
<v Speaker 1>a SmackDown show, and fucking so May nineteenth SmackDown Cain
<v Speaker 1>shows up to face Raymisterio and he beats him because
<v Speaker 1>JBL picked him as his opponent. But what actually happened
<v Speaker 1>on May nineteenth, what was freaking Cain out? Did they
<v Speaker 1>eventually reveal, is that it was the date in which
<v Speaker 1>supposedly his mother and adopted family were killed in a fire.
<v Speaker 2>Albar died.
<v Speaker 1>No, not my dad.
<v Speaker 2>And his dad, because he's both of our fathers. We
<v Speaker 2>always said that, Wait a minute, they killed gold Dust
<v Speaker 2>and that led to a match with himself.
<v Speaker 1>Fastest now now that we talk about it, James Snitsky
<v Speaker 1>could have been fake Cane very easily.
<v Speaker 2>Dude, He could have been fake Cane. But instead they
<v Speaker 2>had something else for him that week. It was probably
<v Speaker 2>sniffing feet and taking a pen and looking at the lights.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, getting ship on. Fuck yeah, so yeah, it's uh,
<v Speaker 1>that was it. His adopted mother and his mother and
<v Speaker 1>adopted family were killed in a fire.
<v Speaker 2>Were killed by Festus.
<v Speaker 1>Festus was standing outside their house with drool coming down
<v Speaker 1>his lips, and then someone rang a bell and he went, not.
<v Speaker 2>Your thief, really, Fastest, I'll see you wrestler court.
<v Speaker 1>Oh my god. They should have Undertaker involved in the
<v Speaker 1>fake Cane angle. We gotta stop this guy. He gotta
<v Speaker 1>stop this guy. And he looks over.
<v Speaker 2>It's just a dude drooling and Kane's out.
<v Speaker 1>He's dangerous Kane. There's also a week where Undertaker gets
<v Speaker 1>confused and doesn't realize it's fake Cad despite the gigantic care.
<v Speaker 2>What about what Undertaker was?
<v Speaker 1>Kane? Oh yeah, he was fake Kate too, wasn't he?
<v Speaker 2>Goddamn Yeah, that's right, and Kant her Taker.
<v Speaker 1>And neither of them ended up. Well. Kane kind of
<v Speaker 1>looks like Festus. Actually that's pretty close. Fastest is based
<v Speaker 1>off of all of Kine's characters. Fastest and Kane have
<v Speaker 1>a similar.
<v Speaker 2>Cut Burnie Kate's house down, maybe man.
<v Speaker 1>Wearing their hair.
<v Speaker 2>The WWE Slam of the Week presented by tomb Raider
<v Speaker 2>legend Umaga beats Rick Flair at Backlash.
<v Speaker 1>He beats the fuck out of him. According to this
<v Speaker 1>fucking Slam of the week, Umaga hits all the moves
<v Speaker 1>and Rick Flair dies and then Umaga beats him.
<v Speaker 2>So we have Umaga versus Rory Fox up next.
<v Speaker 1>So Armando Alejandro Strada is out here.
<v Speaker 2>He does his whole.
<v Speaker 1>Spiel ESQM, everybody listen ha to me, he does the
<v Speaker 1>haha every sentence. I love this fucking guy. Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>Man, he's putting out one hundred percent here.
<v Speaker 1>He's got four cigars in his soup pocket.
<v Speaker 2>Dude, hell ya he does.
<v Speaker 1>That's fucking awesome. And dude, the cigar is his gimmick.
<v Speaker 1>That's what he tells Umaga. It's time to fucking end
<v Speaker 1>this shit. Dude.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, he just breaks in half.
<v Speaker 1>By the way, I do know, uh, we've I feel
<v Speaker 1>like we've seen Rory Fox before, and I only know
<v Speaker 1>of him because Zach Ryder h Matt Cardona talks about
<v Speaker 1>him a lot on the Major Pod because Rory Fox
<v Speaker 1>is a man that he wrestled on E CW W
<v Speaker 1>E E CW And I believe Rory Fox's gear broke
<v Speaker 1>during that match, so he's like Assid Dick and Ball somewhere.
<v Speaker 2>Alight.
<v Speaker 1>So I was curious to see if that's somehow happened
<v Speaker 1>to you with Ry Fox?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I mean he beats the fuck out of this dude.
<v Speaker 2>And I gotta say, man, Umaga is one of the
<v Speaker 2>bright parts of of this era of raw for sure.
<v Speaker 1>Yes, yes, he's fucking awesome, dude, great big guy.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah. I mean he comes in and he puts him
<v Speaker 2>on the top rope and this spot is awesome. Dude. Uh,
<v Speaker 2>Umaga puts Rory Fox on the top rope, grabs him
<v Speaker 2>by the neck and just overhead tosses him from the second.
<v Speaker 1>It's the Hernandez toss from the top rope.
<v Speaker 2>Oh you're right, Yeah, Hernandez will do it just stand
<v Speaker 2>as straight up, which is crazy as shit.
<v Speaker 1>Yes, that's already on its own crazy. But Umaga did
<v Speaker 1>this with this guy sitting on the top rope.
<v Speaker 2>That was fucking awesome. So Umaga follows it up by
<v Speaker 2>running his ass into this dude's head. He climbs the ropes,
<v Speaker 2>he hits the big splash.
<v Speaker 1>Dudee Maga splash is awesome, by.
<v Speaker 2>The way, Yeah, dude, it is awesome. It's sooner, it's
<v Speaker 2>it's super dialed in. I mean, he that's like the
<v Speaker 2>only thing he did when he was in three minute
<v Speaker 2>warning was like they would have these guys and they
<v Speaker 2>would do the fucking splash.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, that's fucking right. I forgot about that all he
<v Speaker 1>should Yeah, so.
<v Speaker 2>I mean he climbs the top rope, does the big splash,
<v Speaker 2>Armando snaps the cigar Umaga, hiss the Samoan spike and
<v Speaker 2>picks up the wind and.
<v Speaker 1>Rory Fox's gear breaks and his nick of ball's and
<v Speaker 1>ask come out.
<v Speaker 2>There's a few more years for that.
<v Speaker 1>All right?
<v Speaker 2>Okay, we go backstage. Vince McMahon is here with Canvas Michelle. Vince,
<v Speaker 2>of course, cured her chest cold from the pay per
<v Speaker 2>view before his match with God.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, and Canvas. Michelle's here to ask for another favor. Uh,
<v Speaker 1>she says, you know, speaking of her healing powers. Vince,
<v Speaker 1>I was wondering if you could help me with my
<v Speaker 1>laby agitis. And Vince says, sure, huh now that's enough
<v Speaker 1>out of you right now?
<v Speaker 2>What the hell is laby agitis?
<v Speaker 1>Is that real?
<v Speaker 2>Is this real?
<v Speaker 1>Vince?
<v Speaker 5>Sure?
<v Speaker 1>Waitit with your what canus? Michelle says, you know, with
<v Speaker 1>my laby agitis, And Vince says, layas I heard that before?
<v Speaker 1>Is it a cute? And she says, oh, I think
<v Speaker 1>it's pretty cute. Hey man, blow up all your TVs.
<v Speaker 2>Fuck this ship, It's time to start playing Owners goes
<v Speaker 2>more oblivion boys.
<v Speaker 1>That's right there. There's gotta be something else better to
<v Speaker 1>do here that listen to fucking these freaks talk about
<v Speaker 1>Laby Gina's fuck you like, come onas me too? I
<v Speaker 1>got I would like a bloe jomb syndrome. Oh whoa,
<v Speaker 1>okay that's what. What can you help? Oh no I can't,
<v Speaker 1>so vin says, yeah, I can help you with that.
<v Speaker 1>I'm a fucking old, old old freak of nature, and yeah,
<v Speaker 1>of course I can fucking help you with that shit.
<v Speaker 5>Right.
<v Speaker 1>So they start fucking making out and Triple h walks
<v Speaker 1>in with very very real bruises all over his head,
<v Speaker 1>as does all of the competitors from backlashes made events
<v Speaker 1>have very real bruises. Uh. They must have just hired
<v Speaker 1>a really really good uh like they had a makeup
<v Speaker 1>artist they just hired and said, fuck, let's let's go
<v Speaker 1>loose on this one.
<v Speaker 2>Let's get everyone bruised. Though, I'd rather them do the
<v Speaker 2>bruises thing than me having to watch another Vincent manne
<v Speaker 2>Ca and his Michelle segment that's fuck.
<v Speaker 1>I'll take that dead times over. Goddamn. So, Triple H
<v Speaker 1>is here and Vince stands up. He's all to shoveled,
<v Speaker 1>and Triple says his flashlo on your pocket. You're happy
<v Speaker 1>to see me?
<v Speaker 2>You got a heart on vents?
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I got a hard ass cock right now, hunter.
<v Speaker 2>Okay, cool, I want a title shot? No, all right?
<v Speaker 1>Imagine if it was that simple. In staid, we get
<v Speaker 1>a fucking five minute diet trap about fucking nothing, go
<v Speaker 1>back and forth the bullshit, and they're they're talking, and
<v Speaker 1>then talk about this fucking thing where Vince wants Triple
<v Speaker 1>H to be the special guest ref for the Kenny
<v Speaker 1>Sena match. All the while there's a big picture behind
<v Speaker 1>Vince's head of Seawan Michael's face being smushed into his
<v Speaker 1>ass like fuck. So yeah, Vince says, hey, man, you
<v Speaker 1>fucking you know you'd be a special guys reff and
<v Speaker 1>you can, I might give you title shotan trouble it
<v Speaker 1>says that, huh okay, and the next week the Spirit
<v Speaker 1>Squad's banned from ringside. When I face Kenny won on
<v Speaker 1>one for the WB title. I mean that is a
<v Speaker 1>completely insane sentence, man, Yeah, man.
<v Speaker 2>I uh, you know, I'm surprised he was even able
<v Speaker 2>to say that without like just dying laughing.
<v Speaker 1>Well, Vince says, you know, I would suggest you take
<v Speaker 1>my advice and be there special guest ref because you
<v Speaker 1>know you're the game. But I'm the boss. And what
<v Speaker 1>was it he called me a couple of weeks ago. Uh,
<v Speaker 1>a piece of shit, a foot fetish free.
<v Speaker 2>Oh wait, that's James Nisky.
<v Speaker 1>Old man. Well, if you'ren't taking my advice that X
<v Speaker 1>tile shot you get, you might be an old man.
<v Speaker 1>That's like the worst thing you could possibly be here
<v Speaker 1>is an old man.
<v Speaker 2>So now it's time for the cutting Edge.
<v Speaker 1>Lda's in the ring to start this off, and she
<v Speaker 1>introduces Edge, and Edge comes out through all the smoke,
<v Speaker 1>and of course Edge as the beanie with the brim.
<v Speaker 1>Of course, dude, that shit's clean, ain't it's his own
<v Speaker 1>one too.
<v Speaker 2>That was so sick too, Like, oh my god, hell yeah,
<v Speaker 2>what the fuck?
<v Speaker 1>This took me back entirely. I said, Wow, fucking beanie
<v Speaker 1>with the brim, that's n shit was clean.
<v Speaker 2>I don't give a fuck. It could be July, you
<v Speaker 2>know what I mean? One hundred degrees outside Beanie with
<v Speaker 2>the brim is coming with me.
<v Speaker 1>So Edge comes out here and he talks about Triple
<v Speaker 1>H and Sina and he says he gets no respect
<v Speaker 1>around here. And just like a WrestleMania one of the
<v Speaker 1>biggest victories of his career, and it was tarnished because
<v Speaker 1>it was called by some third rate East of your
<v Speaker 1>reject name Joey's stop Miles. And he looks over and
<v Speaker 1>Joey's just sitting there, and the Edge says, oh my god, Joey,
<v Speaker 1>you suck.
<v Speaker 2>Hey fuck.
<v Speaker 1>And Edge says, despight all that I sole the show,
<v Speaker 1>and I'd like to introduce the man who helped me
<v Speaker 1>make that possible, the man who I destroyed at Mania,
<v Speaker 1>the former hardcore legend Nick Foley. Holy shit, yeah, mankind
<v Speaker 1>theme it all and Lawler says, you know, we got
<v Speaker 1>a standing ovation for Mick Foley. What about what Edge
<v Speaker 1>said about you, Joey? You know you don't really suck
<v Speaker 1>that bad? Thanks gig.
<v Speaker 2>All right, man, can we call the matches? What are
<v Speaker 2>we doing?
<v Speaker 1>No, dude, that's the fucking not fuck it happened here,
<v Speaker 1>no fucking shot. So, yeah, Foley's here and he's he
<v Speaker 1>says that, uh, you know it, I haven't forgot about
<v Speaker 1>our little WrestleMania match, And he thought about it twenty
<v Speaker 1>four to seven. He watched the tape. He searched his
<v Speaker 1>soul to find out where things went wrong. But the
<v Speaker 1>more he watched the tape, he more he searched his role.
<v Speaker 1>I think he fucked that up. The more I came
<v Speaker 1>to realize the things didn't go wrong for me, they
<v Speaker 1>went very right. I got paid a lot, and I
<v Speaker 1>did a bunch of cool fucking spots, and I got
<v Speaker 1>to do a match with Hustle that was really cool,
<v Speaker 1>that was awesome, and they paid me even more. Somehow,
<v Speaker 1>How did Hustle paid me more than the UFS? And
<v Speaker 1>he says, if I if I did go wrong anywhere,
<v Speaker 1>it wasn't in not realizing that one night I would
<v Speaker 1>be face to face with the toughest son of a
<v Speaker 1>bitch in the WWE, and fully puts his hand off
<v Speaker 1>her handshake and edge. She thinks about it. You know
<v Speaker 1>he's reluctant, and he shakes his hand fully, shakes leave
<v Speaker 1>his hand and gives her on the cheek and he says,
<v Speaker 1>don't get me wrong, just because I lost doesn't mean
<v Speaker 1>I didn't get that defining WrestleMania moment. Let's take a
<v Speaker 1>look at it right now. So they replay Edge spearing
<v Speaker 1>Folly off the Apron through the flaming table, which is
<v Speaker 1>one of the coolest things of all time.
<v Speaker 2>Yes, I love it, dude.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>When I think of like WWE moments, like that's definitely
<v Speaker 2>one that I think of for sure.
<v Speaker 1>It's unfucking believable, and Edge is sell after it is
<v Speaker 1>top tier, and that's what they show here. He's like
<v Speaker 1>in a whole different fucking world. He's just gone through
<v Speaker 1>a traumatic event, and like he has it all over
<v Speaker 1>his face, and that made it like so much cooler too.
<v Speaker 2>I think that's the one thing that WWE was really
<v Speaker 2>good at, was like making a moment and then like
<v Speaker 2>talking about it and talking about it and talking about
<v Speaker 2>it and like just making sure the fans didn't forget
<v Speaker 2>about it. I think things also moved a lot slower
<v Speaker 2>back then. Like a good match back then would last
<v Speaker 2>for a while, you know what I mean. You didn't
<v Speaker 2>tend to forget like a standout match as quick as
<v Speaker 2>you would Nowadays, things just move so fast. The Aarnet's
<v Speaker 2>gotten so much more fast, right like you have about
<v Speaker 2>forty eight hours after a good match to hear that
<v Speaker 2>you had a good match, and then after that.
<v Speaker 1>Is done, Yeah, because the next best match ever just happened, right, Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>by the time you have the.
<v Speaker 2>Match, and like the next day, there was probably another
<v Speaker 2>match that happened that was just as good.
<v Speaker 1>As that match, if not better. Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, and it's just moved on from things just and
<v Speaker 2>that's that's not I don't want to say that's indicative
<v Speaker 2>of wrestling in general. I mean, there's probably some truth
<v Speaker 2>to that, but I also think that just time moves
<v Speaker 2>faster in general nowadays with all media, Like, yeah, a
<v Speaker 2>good movie is in and out within the time that
<v Speaker 2>it's in the theater. You don't really talk about it
<v Speaker 2>so much, and things like that. Like just media in
<v Speaker 2>general is like that. So it's it's interesting to see,
<v Speaker 2>especially during a time where things moved a lot slower.
<v Speaker 2>WW was good at like just bringing it up and
<v Speaker 2>bringing it up and showing you clips and making it
<v Speaker 2>look like the best match ever. And if you missed it,
<v Speaker 2>like you missed out on something huge because this match
<v Speaker 2>was awesome and like it. I mean, this match has
<v Speaker 2>a legacy to it.
<v Speaker 1>It says it's just the time too which is another
<v Speaker 1>you know, good part of it, because you know, I mean,
<v Speaker 1>how many how many matches in WW were ever like
<v Speaker 1>this one?
<v Speaker 2>Sure, I mean like Mick Foley had a bunch on
<v Speaker 2>with a bunch of guys, but not too many other people.
<v Speaker 1>No, No, I mean, like even even in terms of
<v Speaker 1>you know, you look at the Orton match or like
<v Speaker 1>the Triple H like fucking street fight or the hell
<v Speaker 1>in a cell, Like they weren't fucking using fire. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>I guess the Triple H one had the flaming barbar
<v Speaker 1>two by four on top of the cell, but you
<v Speaker 1>know that was not spear through flaming table to the floor, right, Yeah, yeah, dude, No,
<v Speaker 1>you're right, though, that's a that's a pretty I never
<v Speaker 1>thought about it like that, like how I how I mean,
<v Speaker 1>you know, obviously I also have watched up a jillion
<v Speaker 1>hours of fucking wrestling, So the amount of things I
<v Speaker 1>can retain as I get older is you know, uh,
<v Speaker 1>but you're right, I mean, fuck how much how much
<v Speaker 1>happens every single day? Every week there's a match of
<v Speaker 1>the year.
<v Speaker 2>Well, I mean, dude, especially as we get older, because
<v Speaker 2>you start you have to start worrying about your responsibilities
<v Speaker 2>as like a yeah, just making it day to day
<v Speaker 2>sometimes and like yeah, as a kid though, you know
<v Speaker 2>you especially when things moved slower, like I became attached
<v Speaker 2>to some things that like were told to me a bunch,
<v Speaker 2>you know, like that match became like a legacy in itself,
<v Speaker 2>just my you know, people growing up. I'm sure people
<v Speaker 2>that were kids and were watching this time, like this
<v Speaker 2>was a match they remember to this day. And even
<v Speaker 2>if they didn't, WB will tell you you should have
<v Speaker 2>and I still can just go watch it. You know,
<v Speaker 2>shit's fucking dope. So they were just good at that.
<v Speaker 2>I think that, you know, they always made sure. I
<v Speaker 2>think WB always made sure to have one foot ahead
<v Speaker 2>of their own history.
<v Speaker 1>Why didn't they do the same thing with match Striker
<v Speaker 1>and Uchine should?
<v Speaker 2>They probably tried. It's just yeah, sometimes you can't. You
<v Speaker 2>can't pull gold out of an ass crack.
<v Speaker 1>You could try.
<v Speaker 2>Sometimes it's just gonna be shit.
<v Speaker 1>Wow, that is a that's a phrase that should say
<v Speaker 1>this sense of time. I hope it's ten years people
<v Speaker 1>are saying exactly what you just like it said there
<v Speaker 1>that like should be held up in the legendary phrases
<v Speaker 1>of our era.
<v Speaker 2>I hope it's forgot about for hours.
<v Speaker 1>As long as somebody pusts about it just says, this
<v Speaker 1>is cool. I'll take that. So they show this clip
<v Speaker 1>and Fully says, there it is by defining WrestleMania moment
<v Speaker 1>looking at your eyes and knowing you never be the
<v Speaker 1>same again, and knowing that you knew that from then
<v Speaker 1>on that it was all downhill for Edge and knowing
<v Speaker 1>it took years off your life and you would never
<v Speaker 1>want to go through that typeell again. And Folly says,
<v Speaker 1>I want to go through it again, and that's why
<v Speaker 1>next week right here, Oh no, sorry, he says, that's
<v Speaker 1>why I want right now a WrestleMania rematch right here
<v Speaker 1>in clubs Ohio. He does a thumbs up to the camera, which.
<v Speaker 2>Of course I love that. The cheap pop you can't
<v Speaker 2>beat it.
<v Speaker 1>It always works, and Edge says, very cute. You know
<v Speaker 1>you wait until I go through a Hlacious trouble Threat
<v Speaker 1>match and I get blasted with a chair and sledgehammer,
<v Speaker 1>and you know what, I still have strep throat from
<v Speaker 1>doing raw in front of those Limeys in England.
<v Speaker 2>That was good man. I've had strep throat for a
<v Speaker 2>month and a half.
<v Speaker 1>What says, you know what, when it comes to you
<v Speaker 1>and I tonight, you're on and the crowd pops. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>it's a huge pop. Everyone's excited, and the Edge looks
<v Speaker 1>at him, You're on crack.
<v Speaker 2>Holy shit, man, that legit made me laugh. I was like,
<v Speaker 2>holy man, that was good, dude.
<v Speaker 1>That was like a rock level delivery.
<v Speaker 2>I was I did not expect that, dude, did not
<v Speaker 2>expect that, You're on Edge. One of his WrestleMania moments,
<v Speaker 2>and his biggest moment, was against Mick Foley, who is
<v Speaker 2>on crack.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, dude, it says, I'm not wrestling you matched, no way,
<v Speaker 1>but you know what, you were stupid enough to challenge
<v Speaker 1>me next week out a principal, I'll take you on
<v Speaker 1>in any match you want.
<v Speaker 2>The crowd just deflated, Yeah dude.
<v Speaker 1>They were like, fuck man, dude. And that's like, I mean,
<v Speaker 1>you know, I guess that's the thing w W does
<v Speaker 1>forever because they are a big fucking you know, people
<v Speaker 1>are watching this more people are watching it on TV
<v Speaker 1>than watching in the audience. But like, it's funny. That's
<v Speaker 1>something like we had to learn, like, hey, man, don't
<v Speaker 1>if it's not gonna be here, don't fucking say that
<v Speaker 1>it's gonna not be here just yeah, like we'll do
<v Speaker 1>it not out here because the crowd will not like this, dude,
<v Speaker 1>the crowd does not want to hear. They're not getting
<v Speaker 1>it right here, right now. But so that's what happened there. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>as you said, I mean, they advertise it's huge, he says,
<v Speaker 1>poor wire razor wire fuck tags anything I get my
<v Speaker 1>hands on. So I want you to go home and
<v Speaker 1>rest up from your strep throat.
<v Speaker 2>That's important, thank you.
<v Speaker 1>I don't want to get sick because it sucks because
<v Speaker 1>you're gonna need your voice to scream for mercy. And
<v Speaker 1>you think about that edge and then you try, you
<v Speaker 1>try to have a nice day. Bag bang, I mean
<v Speaker 1>full First of all, tremendous problem this guy, this guy
<v Speaker 1>could sell me fucking anything in the entire world. Man,
<v Speaker 1>he is so so good at this.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, he definitely still has his fastball here.
<v Speaker 1>Second, I believe, if I'm not mistaken, I don't believe
<v Speaker 1>they have any kind of match. I believe fully turns here.
<v Speaker 1>And this leads to the edge fully dreamer funk one
<v Speaker 1>night stand match. Hmm okay, sure, I think that's where
<v Speaker 1>this goes. And Folly like calls edge like the new
<v Speaker 1>hardcore legend. YadA, YadA, YadA. I'm pretty sure that's where
<v Speaker 1>this ends up because I don't remember a raw razor
<v Speaker 1>wire edge match, so I assume that's where this goes.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I mean the Folly and Funk stuff was cool, Yes.
<v Speaker 1>Dude, Oh my god. I mean I I love watching
<v Speaker 1>both those guys. Seeing Funk come I mean, Funk coming
<v Speaker 1>back to do that as cool as fuck, you know
<v Speaker 1>what I mean? Like m and he will all. He
<v Speaker 1>always went for it, dude, like there was no his
<v Speaker 1>body was beat to fuck.
<v Speaker 2>Wwe rewind brought to you by oxy chill factor. It's
<v Speaker 2>cool because acne isn't fuck.
<v Speaker 1>That's fucking That's a good That's a good one. How
<v Speaker 1>doesn't this How does in this last? Why does oxy
<v Speaker 1>chill factor not exist? Now?
<v Speaker 2>Shit probably burns your face off.
<v Speaker 1>I mean it had to be just the most alcohol
<v Speaker 1>fucking just wipe ever.
<v Speaker 2>Dude, waking up at five thirty in the morning to
<v Speaker 2>get ready for school, just putting on the oxy chill factor.
<v Speaker 2>I'm burning to death here, all right, go away.
<v Speaker 1>For the bus, rubbing acid on my pores. Oxy chill factors.
<v Speaker 1>Rewind is RVD doing the Van Daminator with the briefcase?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, Shelton Benjamin, I guess was the icy champion. Uh
<v Speaker 2>and RVD beats him and he's mister money in the Bank.
<v Speaker 1>Yes he's I I don't know if I remembered that
<v Speaker 1>that he had the intercnonal title and the money in
<v Speaker 1>the Bank briefcase at the same time. That's pretty cool.
<v Speaker 1>This guy is fucking awesome.
<v Speaker 2>WWE raw is brought to you my Subway. They got
<v Speaker 2>them sandwiches. Have you ever heard that?
<v Speaker 1>It's been so long, It's been so long.
<v Speaker 2>Since we've seen Subway as the sponsor for this show.
<v Speaker 1>I know, it's like visiting an old friend. Goddamn. Yeah, sandwiches.
<v Speaker 1>They got that new Italian trio.
<v Speaker 2>Tomb Raider Legend, a new video game, Skittles, a new food.
<v Speaker 1>Share, the Rainbow, James Taste the Rainbow.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, they fired fucking JR. He does the skittle atterid.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, they didn't want a Joe to give it a
<v Speaker 1>try or oh my god, skittles like that would have
<v Speaker 1>bought me a little.
<v Speaker 2>So now it's time for the Master lock Challenge.
<v Speaker 1>Oh shit, and lock him up, Lock him up, Lock
<v Speaker 1>him up. Holy shit, Chris Master's out here. He does
<v Speaker 1>his whole fucking entrance. Fucking awesome. He does the thinker
<v Speaker 1>pos Yeah, he does the pose. He does all the flexing,
<v Speaker 1>he does the lock him up taunt. He's got it
<v Speaker 1>all and he uh he says last night's match was
<v Speaker 1>a fluke. He wrestled Carlito. I said, holy fuck, man,
<v Speaker 1>you always wrestled Carlito when I watch this show. Oh
<v Speaker 1>my god.
<v Speaker 2>He was married to Carlita the entire time he was there.
<v Speaker 1>Man, they were a team. They were feud They team,
<v Speaker 1>they feud like. This is the only thing they had
<v Speaker 1>for these two guys was each other. This is stem
<v Speaker 1>Generico of two thousand and six, two thousand and seven
<v Speaker 1>or all.
<v Speaker 2>Holy shit, dude, if they had that'd be awesome.
<v Speaker 1>Oh my god, dude. And he fucking Master locks him
<v Speaker 1>through the rungs of the ladder. Oh he shit, Now
<v Speaker 1>we're cooking. Yeah, he comes out here. He says, if
<v Speaker 1>Carlito gets in my face, I'll drop that motherfucker. You're
<v Speaker 1>not gonna be spin apples, You're gonna be spinning teeth.
<v Speaker 1>Oh shit.
<v Speaker 2>Anyways, RVD, piece of shit.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, you suck, you suck, you.
<v Speaker 2>Had a good match last night, and you won't have
<v Speaker 2>one tonight, so come out here.
<v Speaker 1>I definitely thought this was an Intercondinental title match until
<v Speaker 1>he said, listen, you think you could do it all.
<v Speaker 1>You want the intercondal title. You're mister money in the Bank.
<v Speaker 1>Well there's one thing you can't do. And I said,
<v Speaker 1>oh shit, lock him up, lock him up. He says,
<v Speaker 1>you can't break this man's master lock. Let's fucking go.
<v Speaker 1>So I thought I was like, okay, no doubt in
<v Speaker 1>my mind. RVD comes out here, fakes doing the Master
<v Speaker 1>Loock Challenge because he's gonna pick the cheer up and
<v Speaker 1>hit the vandaminator. That is all this is for. I
<v Speaker 1>was wrong, you were wrong.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, Wow, would have been cool though.
<v Speaker 1>Wow. I like that?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah?
<v Speaker 1>Like that? How the fuck is that? Not? Like they
<v Speaker 1>don't they don't do that ever? Like I don't know, Like, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>that's unbelievable. He just already comes out the Intercondinal champion
<v Speaker 1>and mister Money in the Bank comes out and does
<v Speaker 1>the Master lock challenge.
<v Speaker 2>WHOA, Yeah, this is cool, I'll do it. Have they
<v Speaker 2>ever had Chris Masters do the Master Lock Challenge and
<v Speaker 2>win a time?
<v Speaker 1>Like oh, like he challenged somebody with the title on
<v Speaker 1>the line. M yeah, they did not, but they should have.
<v Speaker 2>I mean, him winning one of the lower tier belts
<v Speaker 2>that way is like ultimate shithead stuff.
<v Speaker 1>He like, he I don't think he even tried it, right,
<v Speaker 1>like he should have.
<v Speaker 2>The Master Lock just was over until it wasn't and
<v Speaker 2>then they just I think Bobby Lashley got out of it, right,
<v Speaker 2>that's right, Yeah, dude, yeah, I mean it just kind
<v Speaker 2>of went nowhere. They should have had him do the
<v Speaker 2>Master a Lot challenge, beat somebody that had the belt,
<v Speaker 2>like in the Master Lot Challenge, and then go into
<v Speaker 2>a feud with that guy until they can finally fucking
<v Speaker 2>break out the Master Lock or whoever got gonna win
<v Speaker 2>the title. So when they do break out the master Lock,
<v Speaker 2>they get the big pop, they win the match, win
<v Speaker 2>the belt.
<v Speaker 1>Like it's all right there, easy, it's easy.
<v Speaker 2>Carlito would have broke the Master Lock challenge because that's
<v Speaker 2>the only guy he's facing, and it's a ladder war.
<v Speaker 2>And in the middle of the ladder war, they sit
<v Speaker 2>down and do the Master Lock Challenge and then Carlito
<v Speaker 2>breaks out of Oh.
<v Speaker 1>My god, he hits the backstabber. He wins. They do
<v Speaker 1>the masterlock challenge with Carlito sitting on top of the
<v Speaker 1>ladder faster.
<v Speaker 2>Oh my god, holy shit, and then backstabber off the
<v Speaker 2>ladder to a bridged ladder. Oh my god, yeah, Steve
<v Speaker 2>Erica style. So RVD literally he comes out here, he
<v Speaker 2>sits down in his chair and Chris Masters locks him up.
<v Speaker 1>They do it. This is like there was no Shenanigans
<v Speaker 1>until there was. But it wasn't like Rvidy was about
<v Speaker 1>to lose the Maskelak challenge.
<v Speaker 2>I could break that, Hey, I could break that. I
<v Speaker 2>can break these cups. You think I haven't been shut
<v Speaker 2>down before. I could do this on concrete. This is
<v Speaker 2>not a problem to me. Shelton Benjamin thing comes down
<v Speaker 2>as RVD. I mean, he's legit about to lose the master.
<v Speaker 1>He's not even like didn't even hint that Arbady was
<v Speaker 1>breaking out of it, which probably would have made more sense,
<v Speaker 1>right like he like Arbaty's like nearly there, like Masters
<v Speaker 1>is wide eyed struggling, So Shelton has to come out
<v Speaker 1>and fuck Armity up. No, Armdy's like about to pass out,
<v Speaker 1>and Sean comes out and starts punching him in his head.
<v Speaker 2>I mean that is super funny.
<v Speaker 6>I means, has that ship in rv D. RVD is struggling,
<v Speaker 6>he's ragged on him and then Shutting Vision runs down
<v Speaker 6>and just starts punching in the head Like what the fuck?
<v Speaker 2>I mean that ship was funny as fun though. I mean,
<v Speaker 2>he just basically comes out of nowhere starts punching his
<v Speaker 2>ship out of his dude.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, dude, they set him up. They set rvd's ass up,
<v Speaker 1>and that is not cool.
<v Speaker 2>Carlino comes down with a chair and him and RVD
<v Speaker 2>get them out of the ring.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, man, Corldo hits masters with a chair and Shelton
<v Speaker 1>powders uh and thank god we I mean, we went
<v Speaker 1>to any segments without the Spirit Squad. So Nikki, wait,
<v Speaker 1>that's us. I'm here to show the world.
<v Speaker 2>That's all I'm looking for.
<v Speaker 1>So Nikki is here and he says, hey, knock it off.
<v Speaker 1>I'm the general manager, God damn it, and as co
<v Speaker 1>general manager, I've written a special cheer just for you.
<v Speaker 1>There's no need to scream, there's no need to shout.
<v Speaker 1>The four of you are now wrestling in a tag
<v Speaker 1>team bout and oh yeah that starts right now. Again.
<v Speaker 1>This is a babyface thing to do. He put he
<v Speaker 1>gave the people the magic they wanted to see.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I don't exactly understand any of this ship with
<v Speaker 2>the Spirit Squad. I mean, like, like I said, there
<v Speaker 2>is stuff to do with the Spirit Squad. There's a
<v Speaker 2>ton of stuff to do with the Spirit Squad, and
<v Speaker 2>they're just not doing any of it.
<v Speaker 1>Maybe they just they just no way. They just put
<v Speaker 1>shot through the table, right, that's just getting started. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>you're right. Huh.
<v Speaker 2>Super funny part here.
<v Speaker 1>So he announces this match and a custom custom Masters
<v Speaker 1>at ringside, and Master says, oh, come on, I'm not
<v Speaker 1>ready for that. I was doing the Master Lock Challenge
<v Speaker 1>and he doesn't talk. I was doing the Master shit.
<v Speaker 1>Go on. Fuck Instead, we gotta have a shitty match.
<v Speaker 2>Chris Masters is the.
<v Speaker 1>Heel and he's mad at the Heel general manager for
<v Speaker 1>making a mask.
<v Speaker 2>Dude.
<v Speaker 1>Something seriously lost the translation here, man.
<v Speaker 2>So yeah, man, we have Chris Masters and shouting Benjamin
<v Speaker 2>versus Carlito and Rob van Dam. During the commercial, Chris
<v Speaker 2>Masters hit a power slam on rv D and now
<v Speaker 2>he's getting some heat, of course, and.
<v Speaker 1>You would have seen that if you were on w
<v Speaker 1>dot com. Unlimited. You fucking stupid ass bastard like you,
<v Speaker 1>Why are you wasted time? Like, get on this fucking
<v Speaker 1>this is crazy.
<v Speaker 2>I'm in the middle of an oblivion gate right now.
<v Speaker 1>Dude, No fucking shot like w Unlimited's got what you need.
<v Speaker 1>You're fucking sit on your couch at home. Nothing. You
<v Speaker 1>gotta go on Unlimited. They got Maria, They got Maria Unlimited.
<v Speaker 1>That should have been the w fucking olimited commercial. Literally,
<v Speaker 1>let's pass as you by.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, So we go backstage. Vince McMahon and Candace Michelle
<v Speaker 2>are making out.
<v Speaker 1>There's no like, there's no one walks in. It's just
<v Speaker 1>they're just they just show that.
<v Speaker 2>Yep. And we come back to the match and Shelton
<v Speaker 2>is working on RvDs back now.
<v Speaker 1>Some more heat, brother, we needed some more heat on
<v Speaker 1>this show.
<v Speaker 2>A ref in hands, Joey Styles, a note just fuck you.
<v Speaker 2>It wasn't even like from anybody. They just came up
<v Speaker 2>with a storyline like on the flip the ref like
<v Speaker 2>shoot headed him, a note that said fuck you.
<v Speaker 1>A ref comes up and a note and it's a
<v Speaker 1>crude drog of boobs. J just's what.
<v Speaker 2>RVD says, what what was that?
<v Speaker 5>What was that?
<v Speaker 6>What he.
<v Speaker 1>Rob fucking get the ring? What the fuck? How are
<v Speaker 1>you over here? It's just he no, it's wrong, all right.
<v Speaker 1>So yeah, Lola says, oh, what's this now? You can't
<v Speaker 1>be handing notes of the broadcast called the match and Joey,
<v Speaker 1>you're telling me to call the match? Yeah, fuck you, buddy,
<v Speaker 1>he's son of a bitch. So Joey reads this note
<v Speaker 1>and he says, well, apparently the co general managers of
<v Speaker 1>the Evening the Spirit Squad, want to see me right
<v Speaker 1>now during a live television broadcast.
<v Speaker 2>Well, Shulton hits a high kick on Carlito. Here, RvDs
<v Speaker 2>up on top and he hits a sid kick all
<v Speaker 2>the way across the ring to Shelton.
<v Speaker 1>This is video game asque how much fucking distance r
<v Speaker 1>Wedy clears here? Like this is unreal impressive that not
<v Speaker 1>only he can do this get that distance, but land
<v Speaker 1>without breaking all of his legs.
<v Speaker 2>Chris Masters goes for the mother fin bomb, but Carlito
<v Speaker 2>gets down and hits the backstabber.
<v Speaker 1>I mean that's a good you know they were doing
<v Speaker 1>that all the time too, Like that was the finish
<v Speaker 1>of a lot of the house show matches for sure.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, they practiced that one a lot, for sure.
<v Speaker 1>Never in a million years, James, There's been a lot
<v Speaker 1>on the show that I couldn't predict. Never in a
<v Speaker 1>million years that I see what was coming next coming.
<v Speaker 2>Shelton goes to use the chair here, but Charlie Haass,
<v Speaker 2>one of the top acts two thousand and six for aw.
<v Speaker 1>The Click member, Charlie assins here.
<v Speaker 2>Thousand and six. Clit Clint, Yeah, yeah, you are in
<v Speaker 2>the Clint brother, you aren't in the Click.
<v Speaker 1>I'll tell you that I have the Click commander. Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>So as Shelton goes to use the chair here, but
<v Speaker 2>Charlie Hass shows up, grabs the chair, and this allows
<v Speaker 2>Carlito to roll up Shelton and pick up the win.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah. Charlie Haass leaves through the crowd because he did
<v Speaker 1>the deed. Carlito is very happy. He must think this
<v Speaker 1>is cool. Shelton is in the ring, very confused. He
<v Speaker 1>must not know that Charlie has still works here.
<v Speaker 2>Dude. I mean, Carlito on RVD is a cool team.
<v Speaker 2>I mean they both are fucking with cool heavy.
<v Speaker 1>Holy shit, You're right, that is fucking awesome. They should
<v Speaker 1>have ran with that for a while.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, he doesn't spit in an rvd's face.
<v Speaker 1>You, Uh, no, no, if anything, he's just blowing smoke.
<v Speaker 2>Dude, Holy shit, they should have been back chairs. Charlie
<v Speaker 2>hass coming out here, by the way and taking the chair.
<v Speaker 2>This match and this postmatch felt like twenty ten roh.
<v Speaker 1>Oh, my good god, you're right. What the fuck Jesus dude, Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>there's a lot of twenty ten roh on this entire show. Actually, right.
<v Speaker 2>Backstage segment, Joey Styles is now here with the Spirit
<v Speaker 2>Squad and he's just trying to do his job.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, so they invite him into what I assume is
<v Speaker 1>the Spirit Squad room. It's very similar to the Midian
<v Speaker 1>Room and the Black Rain Room. This is just the
<v Speaker 1>Spirits Squad room, which has green and white balloons. That's
<v Speaker 1>how they get down here. And uh, they invite Joey
<v Speaker 1>into the room and Kenny says, Joey, come on, Joey,
<v Speaker 1>sit down, and he pushes Joey down on the couch
<v Speaker 1>and the Spirits Squad are all surrounding him all like god,
<v Speaker 1>they're prankically on top of them, and Joey says, you know,
<v Speaker 1>we're doing a live TV show and Kenny says, I
<v Speaker 1>realized that we're the general managers. We've been booking a
<v Speaker 1>shitty as show. I know what's got here.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, we think think match. Thanks Joey, I probably think
<v Speaker 2>it sucks. Yeah, Mitch starts putting his ass on the
<v Speaker 2>ground and going around the room.
<v Speaker 1>It sucks. Joey lay on the floor. He's gonna do
<v Speaker 1>the ass fucking thing to Eve real quick.
<v Speaker 5>Well.
<v Speaker 1>Kenny says, you know why you're here because you have
<v Speaker 1>no spirit, and Joey says, I'm just calling the matches.
<v Speaker 1>I'm doing my job and Johnny says, well, you're doing
<v Speaker 1>a lousy job. Not me. Spirit squad, Johnny, he says,
<v Speaker 1>you have a distinct lack of spear. It's appalling. Kenny's
<v Speaker 1>about to become the youngest w champ of all time.
<v Speaker 1>He doesn't need your negative energy bringing him down. And
<v Speaker 1>Joey says negative energy. I'm just doing my job and
<v Speaker 1>Nicky says, you're gonna have to do a better job
<v Speaker 1>than that, and if you don't, we're gonna tell mister
<v Speaker 1>man you have to wear this next week. Joel Mikey. So, Mikey.
<v Speaker 1>They must have figured that this would like they did
<v Speaker 1>the thing earlier James, and then they were like, oh,
<v Speaker 1>we should have We should have embarrassed the dudes with
<v Speaker 1>this because he pulls out the cheerleader outfit and they
<v Speaker 1>put it on Joey's body and say, oh, you're gonna
<v Speaker 1>have to wear this.
<v Speaker 2>They should have brought out Cane's outfit. We're gonna make
<v Speaker 2>you wear this, Oh my god.
<v Speaker 1>So uh. Nicky says, we had four cheerleaders out there tonight.
<v Speaker 1>Next week it is gonna be one more, uh, and
<v Speaker 1>we made this inst your size, and Nicky says, let
<v Speaker 1>me hear you say it. The new w W champion
<v Speaker 1>is Kenny. And Joey says, are you serious? And they
<v Speaker 1>all fucking hound him to say it, and Joey says,
<v Speaker 1>the new w champion is Kenny. What the fuck? What
<v Speaker 1>the fuck? What the fuck? They are losing their fucking
<v Speaker 1>minds that he fucked us up. I'm surprised they didn't
<v Speaker 1>all just start stomping him Albaret there, which would have
<v Speaker 1>been very funny.
<v Speaker 2>By the way, Hey guys, I don't know if you
<v Speaker 2>watched the show. I'm not the color commensator. That would
<v Speaker 2>be Jerry Lawler steal.
<v Speaker 1>No, we don't watch the show. Can you see how
<v Speaker 1>the show's running. We don't watch the show. Yeah, So
<v Speaker 1>Joey says, the nude w B champion is Kenny, and
<v Speaker 1>Kenny says, let me show you how it's done. Oh,
<v Speaker 1>my god, the nude w B Champion Kenny Kenny. This
<v Speaker 1>may be dude. Okay, I did think that too. I
<v Speaker 1>was like, wow, there is this is pretty close. Kenny
<v Speaker 1>yelling Kenny at him did fucking make me laft because
<v Speaker 1>he just says it's so obnoxious.
<v Speaker 2>He's just staring right at him.
<v Speaker 1>Got a. He says, now get out here and start
<v Speaker 1>practicing and finish your job. And they throw Joey out
<v Speaker 1>of the room and Kenny throws a balloon at him,
<v Speaker 1>and Kenny is just staring out of the room. It's
<v Speaker 1>just him standing there. Got it? Got it?
<v Speaker 2>He's like a fucking Pokemon. Well now it's time for
<v Speaker 2>the Joey Styles backlash segment.
<v Speaker 1>My god, I cherished this promo. I have referenced this
<v Speaker 1>through probably. I mean, I don't know if there's a
<v Speaker 1>year that has gone by that I haven't referenced part
<v Speaker 1>of this promo on something I thought, especially on the legacy.
<v Speaker 1>I love this promo. Fucking so much. James brought up
<v Speaker 1>this episode to me and I immediately started quoting it
<v Speaker 1>to him.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, that was funny.
<v Speaker 1>I was super excited to talk about this. So Jerry
<v Speaker 1>Lawler is of course he had to call the rest
<v Speaker 1>of that tag match that we just saw. He was alone,
<v Speaker 1>and now Joey Styles is coming back the ringside and
<v Speaker 1>Jerry's standing up. He's on the mic so the house
<v Speaker 1>can hear him, and Jerry says, okay, everyone, he's coming back.
<v Speaker 1>Let's hear it for our lead announcer and future cheerleader.
<v Speaker 1>Joey Styles. Go on, Joey, and he says, let me
<v Speaker 1>hear you say you're lying. Let me hear you say
<v Speaker 1>the new w champion is kiddy God. Joey say what spirit?
<v Speaker 1>Joey's obviously not fucking having it, and Joey says, how
<v Speaker 1>about if we just do our jobs, King and call
<v Speaker 1>a wrestling match?
<v Speaker 2>I mean, it is so good. How about we just
<v Speaker 2>called the pro wrestling in the ring. How about that?
<v Speaker 1>What is that what we were doing? Fuck that? I'll
<v Speaker 1>do anything but fucking call another match like that one?
<v Speaker 1>You call this pro wrestling? Really? So Jerry says, come on, Joey,
<v Speaker 1>let's show us a spirit. If you were to a
<v Speaker 1>c W, you'd be that spirit. I can hear it now.
<v Speaker 1>Oh my god, Joey says, if I was in e
<v Speaker 1>c W, you'd be on correct. Yeah, Joey says, this
<v Speaker 1>was e CW. I wouldn't be working with a hack
<v Speaker 1>like you. No hack was hack was w CW. He
<v Speaker 1>was Sandman there.
<v Speaker 2>I hate you, dude.
<v Speaker 1>There's a group of dudes like in the front row
<v Speaker 1>right behind him that are super egging this on and
<v Speaker 1>they like added to a ton. So Jerry says, oh, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>you know what, that's good. Joey's showed some spirit, and
<v Speaker 1>Joy says, can you want to see some spirit? And
<v Speaker 1>he gives them a light push. How's that for spirit?
<v Speaker 1>He double shoves him. How's that for spirit? Then Joey
<v Speaker 1>slaps the fuck out of Jerry. Lawler gives him a
<v Speaker 1>fucking good one here, dude.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, and King pushes him back over. He says, you
<v Speaker 2>little idiot, drop.
<v Speaker 1>The normal fucking Lawler voice. Idiot Pie faces him, Joey
<v Speaker 1>flips over his chair and then Joey storms away. He
<v Speaker 1>goes up the ramp. There's e C dub chance.
<v Speaker 2>Dude, it's like super easy to forget sometimes that Lawler's
<v Speaker 2>commentary voice and then Lawler as a wrestler's voice are
<v Speaker 2>differently different. Yeah, like when Lawler came into E. C
<v Speaker 2>W and shit like the you little idiot thing sounded
<v Speaker 2>so much like Lawler from that time period with rushing down.
<v Speaker 2>He said you little idiot and then like he just
<v Speaker 2>goes right back to oh.
<v Speaker 1>Come on, okay, sorry got him? Yeah, So we uh
<v Speaker 1>we we got a commercial, we get a recap which
<v Speaker 1>just happened, and Lawler is still a commentary here. He's
<v Speaker 1>on the mic, the house mic, and uh, he says,
<v Speaker 1>let me all right listen. Uh during the break, I
<v Speaker 1>apologize to the fans, and right now, I'd like to
<v Speaker 1>take this opportunity to apologize to you. Joey styles my fault,
<v Speaker 1>you know, just trying to have a little fun. We
<v Speaker 1>just has a funny here on wrong I do. Joey
<v Speaker 1>walks back out onto the top of the ramp and
<v Speaker 1>he's got a mic. So Joey says, you want to apologize,
<v Speaker 1>like nothing happened, Like you didn't just knock me on
<v Speaker 1>my ass in front of millions of people worldwide. And
<v Speaker 1>I'm gonna come down there and work with you. I'm
<v Speaker 1>not coming back, and now, thanks to the magic of
<v Speaker 1>live television, I'm gonna show the whole world why. For
<v Speaker 1>seven years at ECW, I was the unscripted, uncensored, loose
<v Speaker 1>Canada commentary.
<v Speaker 2>He's like, un.
<v Speaker 1>He's ready to fucking go. Six months ago, WWE called.
<v Speaker 2>Me, all right, I love I love that first liner there. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>six months ago.
<v Speaker 1>W W called me. I didn't call this company because
<v Speaker 1>I was looking for a job. I didn't need a job.
<v Speaker 1>W w E called me because they had humiliated and
<v Speaker 1>fired again Jim Ross. Oh hell yeah, yeah, Joey, you
<v Speaker 1>fucking suns upches. Fuck you? What the fuck? So I
<v Speaker 1>get JR Spot and from week one, week after week,
<v Speaker 1>I got an ongoing lecture on the differences on professional
<v Speaker 1>wrestling and sports entertainment. Dude to howl, how old were we?
<v Speaker 5>You know?
<v Speaker 1>Six? I was what yeah? Okay, I was probably right
<v Speaker 1>there too. Then I was eating this up. Thirteen year
<v Speaker 1>old Johnny was dude. Thirteen year old Johnny was full
<v Speaker 1>smart already, and I was super fuck sports entertainment. Let's
<v Speaker 1>go to TNA. I'm indied out like fuck. All the
<v Speaker 1>rest of this ship.
<v Speaker 2>There was balance in the pro wrestling world. You know,
<v Speaker 2>you had to take a stand. Yeah, you were either
<v Speaker 2>sports entertainment or you were pro wrestling. Like you were
<v Speaker 2>either watching fucking czw r OH or you were watching
<v Speaker 2>WWE or you're watching TNA. There was like there were
<v Speaker 2>places to be for everybody, Like whatever you liked, you.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, and it was cool to like stay in your lane.
<v Speaker 1>That was fucking totally cool. And I was fucking riding
<v Speaker 1>for the wrestling. So I especially as an ECY fan,
<v Speaker 1>I was like, Oh, let's fucking go, Joe, you goddamn style.
<v Speaker 1>So Joece's I'm not allow to say wrestling. I'm not
<v Speaker 1>anna say wrestler. I gotta say sports entertainment and refer
<v Speaker 1>to the wrestlers as superstars. I'm told to ignore the
<v Speaker 1>moves and the holds in the matches so I could
<v Speaker 1>tell stories. Well, ignoring the moves and the holds is
<v Speaker 1>damn insulting to the athletes, the wrestlers who leave their
<v Speaker 1>families three hundred days a year to apply their craft
<v Speaker 1>in that ring. Whoa, I'm fist pumping. I'm fucking fist pumping, dude, craft, dude,
<v Speaker 1>they are fucking eating it up. So here's the best part.
<v Speaker 1>Because I'm not a sports entertainment storyteller, I get pulled
<v Speaker 1>from WrestleMania. I'm a company guy. I swallow the pill.
<v Speaker 1>And the reason I'm given is is that I don't
<v Speaker 1>sound like Jim Ross, who's the guy they fired in
<v Speaker 1>the first place. That makes sense, Right, Then I get
<v Speaker 1>bumped from backlash. I'm not good enough to call backlash.
<v Speaker 1>That is a legendary line.
<v Speaker 2>That's that's where the primo turned into legend territory.
<v Speaker 1>Yes, dude, I'm not good enough to call backlash, which.
<v Speaker 2>Like I get bumped from backlash.
<v Speaker 1>I'm not good enough to call backlash, which is like
<v Speaker 1>so fucking funny because like I don't even know at
<v Speaker 1>the time, like I understood that, like that's Joey's Like
<v Speaker 1>backlash is a shitty paper view view, right, and like
<v Speaker 1>I got, I'm not good called blacklash in ECW. I
<v Speaker 1>called live pay per views on my own solo no
<v Speaker 1>color commentators dragging me down wasn't done before me, hasn't
<v Speaker 1>been done since. Oh my god, oh my god, he's
<v Speaker 1>oh my god, you can't stop this guy.
<v Speaker 2>He's going for it.
<v Speaker 1>He's going for it. But I'm not good enough to
<v Speaker 1>call backlash because I'm not a sports entertainment storyteller. Well,
<v Speaker 1>you know what, I'm sick of sports entertainment. I am
<v Speaker 1>sick of male cheerleaders. I am sick of boogers and
<v Speaker 1>bathroom humor and semen, and I am sick of our
<v Speaker 1>chairman who likes to talk about his own semen. He
<v Speaker 1>mocks God, he mocks God.
<v Speaker 2>Holy shit, dude, dude, he mocks God.
<v Speaker 1>He mocked God.
<v Speaker 2>Like I am sick of semen, semen stayed dresses, see
<v Speaker 2>semen dresses, semen st Monica Lewinsky, More pigs, more pigs.
<v Speaker 2>You know what really pisses me off?
<v Speaker 1>More pigs, more semen stained, more pigs, more pigs, male cheerleaders, semen, pigs. Dude,
<v Speaker 1>I have quoted. He mocks God with slip like I mean,
<v Speaker 1>fucking up ka jillion times God God and makes up
<v Speaker 1>with the divas all defeat his own insatiable ego. I
<v Speaker 1>am sick of sports entertainment, and most of all, I
<v Speaker 1>am sick of you fans who actually buy into that crap,
<v Speaker 1>this sports entertainment circus. That's the only thing I wish
<v Speaker 1>he didn't do. He didn't have to fucking go like
<v Speaker 1>anti fan here, like he's got his own agenda. But
<v Speaker 1>I get it was more like make this as real
<v Speaker 1>as possible, so fucking fire on everybody, right, this.
<v Speaker 2>Was Roh was doing to the CZW fans that death
<v Speaker 2>match bullshit, and I was fucking thrown shit thing.
<v Speaker 1>Fuck you, fuck you, Jim Cornett, you fucking shit, fuck you.
<v Speaker 1>Zach dig beat his ass. I never needed this job,
<v Speaker 1>and I don't want this job anymore, and this is baller.
<v Speaker 1>Joey takes the flag off the mic and he chucks
<v Speaker 1>it behind him. I quit, and he flips the mic
<v Speaker 1>and walks out. Oh man, that's a bad motherfucker right there.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, Lawler says, all right, well, all right, damn.
<v Speaker 1>Shit.
<v Speaker 2>I try to get him out of the gutter. I
<v Speaker 2>guess he doesn't want to. Maybe joe form more at
<v Speaker 2>home in a bingle hall kiss Paul Hayman's ass.
<v Speaker 1>Anyways, had to try to get some heat back, right,
<v Speaker 1>But man, you got scorched, Like this is killer, This
<v Speaker 1>is a kill Like there are dudes that they're pushing
<v Speaker 1>that have never cut a promo like this in their
<v Speaker 1>entire lives, you know, Like he.
<v Speaker 2>For what they asked him to do or whatever they
<v Speaker 2>asked him for this segment. I mean, he had a
<v Speaker 2>great promo here. It's probably the most fired up and
<v Speaker 2>like pro wrestling esque promo on the entire show.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, dude, it's super memorable too, Like yeah right, how
<v Speaker 1>many of these like can you people remember and the
<v Speaker 1>Joey Styles turn like you know turn or what are
<v Speaker 1>you quitting? Fucking super memorable from this era. By the way,
<v Speaker 1>an interesting thing here from The Observer on me eighth.
<v Speaker 1>An interesting note to my says is that most assumed
<v Speaker 1>that it was Paul Hayman writing Joey's promo, but it
<v Speaker 1>was in fact not written by Hayman nor the w
<v Speaker 1>W writers. Hayman was not even aware of the content
<v Speaker 1>of the promo at the time. Styles deserves full credit
<v Speaker 1>for the promo as he was given leeway to say
<v Speaker 1>what he wanted based on reality, and Vince McMahon only
<v Speaker 1>asked him to go for the Juguler fuck Boy, oil
<v Speaker 1>Boy Diddy.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I mean, once you see it, it's hard to
<v Speaker 2>forget it. Well, now it's time for John Cena versus
<v Speaker 2>Kenny Kenny WWE Championship Match. Triple Ah is the special
<v Speaker 2>guest referee Todd Grisham is now on commentary and the
<v Speaker 2>Spears squad have an airhorn.
<v Speaker 1>Holy fuck man, it's a fucking nightmare.
<v Speaker 2>Man.
<v Speaker 1>I I ate too close to when I went to sleep,
<v Speaker 1>and this is what I'm dreaming up, this fucking scenario
<v Speaker 1>right here. Man. By the way, they did show a
<v Speaker 1>graphic earlier when they when they did it, eventually announced
<v Speaker 1>that Triple H was gonna be the ref and uh
<v Speaker 1>it was. They should have seen him, Kenny, and then
<v Speaker 1>of course Triple H had the photoshops refree shirt on.
<v Speaker 2>That's classic. I mean, we're not even too far removed. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>we're still in CRTI era. They love doing that. Shit.
<v Speaker 1>We're not h yet, are we. Yeah, I guess it's
<v Speaker 1>still it's still prevalent. Yeah, yah yeah. Triple H of
<v Speaker 1>course coming out to the King of Kings theme song
<v Speaker 1>is yeah from the album that yes on Reckless attent Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I know, you know when that came out, I did
<v Speaker 1>like that.
<v Speaker 2>Well, Sena comes down here, him and Triple H have
<v Speaker 2>a stare down. Kenny tries to take advantage early here,
<v Speaker 2>but Sina instantly takes him down and hits his patented
<v Speaker 2>elbow drop you.
<v Speaker 1>Don't even have to know anything about wrestling to see
<v Speaker 1>that off rip. Here, Sena is very loudly calling spots
<v Speaker 1>to Kenny.
<v Speaker 2>I'm gonna assume here that like just because you know
<v Speaker 2>Kenny's twenty, he's green, Like yeah, right, yeah, he's green
<v Speaker 2>in his first big deal here that like he just
<v Speaker 2>wanted to make sure the match didn't go off the
<v Speaker 2>fucking rails or anything. Sure, yeah, but yeah, yeah, once
<v Speaker 2>you see it, once you see it the entire time,
<v Speaker 2>it's hard to take your eyes off of it.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, a whole match to like even Sina super loud,
<v Speaker 1>he calls for like a stalling supplex. I'm like, oh man,
<v Speaker 1>he like has to walk him through this hole in
<v Speaker 1>his hand.
<v Speaker 2>Well, dude, you know, Scene is not the best at
<v Speaker 2>hiding his calls anyways, he never has been.
<v Speaker 1>No, he legendarily is a fucking call spot loud guy.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, and like once or twice I'm like whatever, you know,
<v Speaker 2>I know the deal, so I'm not like whatever, but
<v Speaker 2>it legit is, like it's pretty nuts. When you watch
<v Speaker 2>the match. He hits the delayed vertical suplex, like he
<v Speaker 2>grabs him for the suplex and like he like undoes
<v Speaker 2>the suplex for a second and looks down and tells
<v Speaker 2>him like, hey, delayed vertical suplex.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, bright, like you should. If if there's any reason
<v Speaker 1>to watch this match, it's just to see, like how
<v Speaker 1>Sena controls this and calls this.
<v Speaker 2>So KD goes for a cross body here, but uh,
<v Speaker 2>Sena catches him for the fu and of course triple
<v Speaker 2>h walks over and punches Sena in the head. Dude,
<v Speaker 2>I mean that not.
<v Speaker 1>Even like he wasn't fired up or anything. It was
<v Speaker 1>a very nonchalot. He walks up and decks Sena and
<v Speaker 1>lays him out, and the Spirit Squad so fired up
<v Speaker 1>about this. The air horns are going nuts. Kenny's about
<v Speaker 1>to win the world title.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, Kenny's shit cansm and then the Spirit Squad beats
<v Speaker 2>Sena's ass.
<v Speaker 1>Well you know why they did that, James, And how
<v Speaker 1>they're able to do that, right.
<v Speaker 2>Because they're the Spirit Squad. That is what they said earlier.
<v Speaker 1>That is fucking they did say that. You're right, but
<v Speaker 1>you know, the Spirit Squad they got that pack of
<v Speaker 1>dog mentality, dude, dude, really, holy shit, pack a dog.
<v Speaker 1>They got the pack of dog mentality. Hell yeah, they got.
<v Speaker 2>The pack of dogs. That's what it's all about.
<v Speaker 1>That's where legends are made. The pack of dog.
<v Speaker 2>So Sina goes to hit the ropes here, but Spirit
<v Speaker 2>Squad pulls them outside and throws them into the steps.
<v Speaker 1>They got that pack of dog.
<v Speaker 2>That pack of dog. It comes out at the worst times.
<v Speaker 2>It'll get you every time. Kenny hits a jumping elbow
<v Speaker 2>on Sena and it gets a two. He follows out
<v Speaker 2>with a neck breaker here for a too.
<v Speaker 1>Dude, uh, Sina very loudly like, once again, here, I
<v Speaker 1>only wrote the ones that I were like super obvious.
<v Speaker 1>He legit says, do your neck break?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, no problem. I was going to.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, that's one of my moves I have to do.
<v Speaker 2>So Johnsona tries to fight up here, but Kenny hits
<v Speaker 2>a DDT for a two. Kenny then gets up, fires up,
<v Speaker 2>he's pissed the fuck off, and he pushes Triple H.
<v Speaker 1>Okay one. I think it's very funny that Kenny's doing
<v Speaker 1>neck breaker DDT leaping back elbow and he's shocked that
<v Speaker 1>these aren't winning the matches. Well.
<v Speaker 2>Triple H then punches Kenny and then hits a pedigree
<v Speaker 2>on the mitch.
<v Speaker 1>Fuck God. Damn it. Min should have sold it by
<v Speaker 1>rubbing his ASDs on the floor and powdering you. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>he powders underneath the bottom rope this way.
<v Speaker 2>Triple H then takes off the ref shirt and says
<v Speaker 2>fuck you guys and leaves.
<v Speaker 1>He legit says fuck all you and just leaves and
<v Speaker 1>he goes up the ramp and then the Spirit Squad
<v Speaker 1>get in with that pack of dog and they beat
<v Speaker 1>the fuck out of SNA.
<v Speaker 2>Triple H then walks up the ramp. HBK comes out
<v Speaker 2>on the ramp. He's in a ref shirt because he
<v Speaker 2>had his from earlier, and they stare down who's the
<v Speaker 2>real referee?
<v Speaker 1>They both telepathically question if they want to go into
<v Speaker 1>a three month angle with the Spirit Squad starting now.
<v Speaker 2>Tripale Ah said, no way, but.
<v Speaker 1>Maybe we can dump a bunch of poop on them.
<v Speaker 2>Kenny hits a huge leg drop on Sena in the
<v Speaker 2>ring here. That would have been a three. Yeah, I
<v Speaker 2>believe that becomes Katie's finish right it is.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah. I don't know if it's a name, but it's
<v Speaker 1>it's in the games as it's finished.
<v Speaker 2>I know that much. Yeah, that would have been a three.
<v Speaker 2>But Sean stops counting it too, So technically, ay d
<v Speaker 2>did be John Cena here.
<v Speaker 1>I didn't even consider that. I mean, you know, he
<v Speaker 1>did get fucking spelunked by this Beard squad, but it
<v Speaker 1>would have been a visual three.
<v Speaker 2>Do you think they would have done it where everyone
<v Speaker 2>was the WWE champion in the team?
<v Speaker 1>Okay, like two thousand and six means nothing to me,
<v Speaker 1>like the titles or anything, So like they should have did.
<v Speaker 1>They should have like that happening and Masterlock challenge to
<v Speaker 1>win a title like he should have all been happening
<v Speaker 1>at the same time.
<v Speaker 2>Here, yeah, my man, Mitch is rubbing his ass on
<v Speaker 2>the ground with the w championship. That's even funny, like
<v Speaker 2>Manda doing.
<v Speaker 1>The to the Kenny wins it. Immediately the next week
<v Speaker 1>they're like, oh, we're all champion, and then goddamn fucking
<v Speaker 1>Mitch has to defend the title and immediately loses it.
<v Speaker 2>Oh sorry about that, fuck fuck man so sewn Michaels
<v Speaker 2>of course hits Kenny with the sweet Him music. Oh wait,
<v Speaker 2>no he didn't. Who do he hit with the sweetchim
<v Speaker 2>He was it Kenny?
<v Speaker 1>It was Kenny, because Kenny flips out and he pulls
<v Speaker 1>the shraps down. He's on a Shawn and then he
<v Speaker 1>fucking sweeching music something and then he eventually he sweeching
<v Speaker 1>music's Johnny when him and Sena start getting on the stong.
<v Speaker 2>Okay, right, that's where I'm getting mixed on my head.
<v Speaker 2>So Seawn Michaels hits him with the sweet Him music here,
<v Speaker 2>he tells the Spirit Squad to suck it. John Cena
<v Speaker 2>and Sean then beat the Spirit Squad's ass.
<v Speaker 1>Dude, yeah, they pillar to post.
<v Speaker 2>John Sena hits the five knuckle shuffle on Johnny with
<v Speaker 2>jumping theatrics.
<v Speaker 1>Dude, yeah, the fucking the Randy orton.
<v Speaker 2>Sean then follows up with a superkick here, and Sena
<v Speaker 2>hits Kenny with the fu and picks up the win.
<v Speaker 1>Yup. Sean counts to three, and the Spirit Squad had
<v Speaker 1>been dealt with, and Sena poses with the title as
<v Speaker 1>we end this show, Spirit Squad have been beaten. Of course,
<v Speaker 1>I mean, like, what's stopping Vince from always doing this? Hey,
<v Speaker 1>Spirit Squad, okay, just do it again.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, that's a great question.
<v Speaker 1>Like I'm assuming that Sena losing and I don't know
<v Speaker 1>how this goes obviously, and people will know. But like
<v Speaker 1>Vince saying, you guys did a fucking horrible job at GMS,
<v Speaker 1>would never do this again is probably why that happens.
<v Speaker 1>But yeah, like all right, Spirit Squad ressus Sena five
<v Speaker 1>on one for the w title. I do. By the way, James,
<v Speaker 1>I wanted to note this here. I have this from
<v Speaker 1>the Observer as well. We were talking about the rating
<v Speaker 1>of the show. I have the segment by segment's viewer
<v Speaker 1>gain and loss. If you're interested, sure, all right. In
<v Speaker 1>the segment by segments, spirits Squad versus Eugene Goldis and
<v Speaker 1>Snitsky gained the show three hundred and seven thousand viewers,
<v Speaker 1>though we're net positive for the Gold The Big Gold One,
<v Speaker 1>Caine versus Conway with michaels As the Ref gained one
<v Speaker 1>hundred and eighty two thousand viewers. Umaga versus Rory Fox
<v Speaker 1>plus Vince's Backstage with Candas and Triple H gained two
<v Speaker 1>hundred and twenty one thousand viewers. Edge and Lida Interviewing
<v Speaker 1>Fully gained one hundred and twenty five thousand viewers. Masters
<v Speaker 1>In Benjamin versus Already and Carlito lost four hundred and
<v Speaker 1>thirty four thousand viewers.
<v Speaker 2>Wow, holy shit.
<v Speaker 1>That's fucking nuts. The Spirit Squad, backstage stuff with Joey.
<v Speaker 1>I guess they showed a see No Evil trailer and
<v Speaker 1>then the Joey Lawler altercation lost eighty five thousand viewers.
<v Speaker 1>Meltzer says, I presume the Kane trailer was a turn
<v Speaker 1>off and lost four more than the other segments. The
<v Speaker 1>Styles promo gained four hundred and ninety nine thousand viewers
<v Speaker 1>in his setment that's usually a losing segment, and and
<v Speaker 1>the Big One scenea versus Kenny gained one million and
<v Speaker 1>eighty eight thousand viewers as one of the most successful
<v Speaker 1>segments of the year.
<v Speaker 2>There it is.
<v Speaker 1>How about that Kenny, the draw.
<v Speaker 2>The god ad KD Man give them a push?
<v Speaker 1>How about that? Well they try and then then they
<v Speaker 1>stop trying, very very quickly, very quickly, they stop trying.
<v Speaker 1>Odd show crazy, especially when you think this is coming
<v Speaker 1>off a pay per view, so like this was them
<v Speaker 1>coming out of a pay per view, like trying to
<v Speaker 1>keep people Like what an odd decision all around on
<v Speaker 1>this show. I don't know if there was one match
<v Speaker 1>worth ever remembering on this show.
<v Speaker 2>No, just the Joey Styles thing, yeah, like that's legit
<v Speaker 2>it which is?
<v Speaker 1>Which is crazy? Man? I'm watching R H and O six.
<v Speaker 1>Are you fucking out of your mind?
<v Speaker 2>Like what.
<v Speaker 1>Front? Yeah, Jamison's on the run the fuck out of.
