<v Speaker 1>Welcome on into the Nontender Podcast. My name is Wood. <v Speaker 1>I am joined by the delectable, the delicious, the delightful. Oh, <v Speaker 1>Kimberly Tune. I promise she's here. Kimberly Tune. <v Speaker 2>Hello. <v Speaker 1>Okay, Yeah, a lot of energy going in today. <v Speaker 2>I'm very tired. <v Speaker 1>We're both very tired. <v Speaker 3>Actually we have a lot to talk about because there <v Speaker 3>was a big old. <v Speaker 1>Direct today, a sixty minute direct. <v Speaker 3>And speaking of sixty minutes, Kimberly cut the music, we <v Speaker 3>only have sixty minutes. Yeah, like you and I only <v Speaker 3>have sixty minutes to live, like certainly, hope not suddenly, <v Speaker 3>hope we have a bit more than that. No, because baby, <v Speaker 3>and we have your mom here taking care of baby. <v Speaker 1>She can't drive it night, no, so we do need <v Speaker 1>to get out of here. <v Speaker 3>Right old, she's not okay, well, she is helping us. <v Speaker 2>I'm kidding. <v Speaker 3>She's also not that old really respectively. I guess, well, no. <v Speaker 2>No, no, no. <v Speaker 1>No, no no no no no. You know what was worse. <v Speaker 3>I'm just already deviating, and I apologize. But when your <v Speaker 3>mum was here the other week taking care of baby, <v Speaker 3>she was watching Good Mythical Morning, yea, and she loves <v Speaker 3>good mythical morning. <v Speaker 2>She does. <v Speaker 3>We actually we were bonding over it because I like <v Speaker 3>it too, I know you do. And yeah, I was like, <v Speaker 3>man that yeah, they just seem so young, considering they're <v Speaker 3>both really old. She was like, wow old are Then <v Speaker 3>I was like, I don't know, like late forties. She <v Speaker 3>was like, okay, well they're much younger than me. <v Speaker 1>And I was like, yeah, well they're not that old. <v Speaker 1>They're not. They're not, you know, they're it's all perspectives. <v Speaker 1>They say sixties the new thirty. <v Speaker 2>Oh fuck, yeah, I hope not us. <v Speaker 1>All right, so wel come on in. <v Speaker 3>Sorry, So we have a sixty minute direct and I'm <v Speaker 3>already stalling. But here's the thing. I put a video <v Speaker 3>out on my main channel just now, which please go <v Speaker 3>and watch where I honestly I went through the whole <v Speaker 3>thing anyway. Yeah, So what I would rather do today <v Speaker 3>is I want to show you some things Kim that <v Speaker 3>you I don't think you've seen. <v Speaker 2>Well I haven't seen anything, so yeah, I definitely okay. <v Speaker 3>I want to show you a couple of things I <v Speaker 3>think you'll find fun, Okay, And then I also want <v Speaker 3>to look more so at the comments on my video <v Speaker 3>talking about the direct because I so when I cover <v Speaker 3>directs now, I try and just stay positive because us <v Speaker 3>unless it's really bad, and that's all I really have <v Speaker 3>to say. Yeah, I try and stay positive because anytime <v Speaker 3>I'm negative in a thumbnail, people just call it clickbait <v Speaker 3>and I get really sick of it. So I just <v Speaker 3>try and stay positive. But the flip side of that, Kimberly, <v Speaker 3>is now, because you have to like duck and weave <v Speaker 3>with audiences sometimes, because fans in general of anything can <v Speaker 3>be very fickle. So I started being more positive because <v Speaker 3>people were getting annoyed that I was always negative if <v Speaker 3>I didn't like a direct. <v Speaker 2>And now they're annoyed that you're positive. <v Speaker 3>And now they're being annoyed that I'm positive because everyone's <v Speaker 3>mad at Nintendo. <v Speaker 1>But like I'm ducking and weaving. <v Speaker 2>So like, what has Nintendo done this week? <v Speaker 1>Oh, Kimberlly, what have they done? Well, we'll look at the. <v Speaker 3>Comments, but I mean it's it's a lot of just <v Speaker 3>like the money stuff, like for example, yeah, in this <v Speaker 3>direct today they reveal Donkey Kong DC, which actually looks <v Speaker 3>pretty sick, but it's twenty dollars. <v Speaker 1>So now if you want and the. <v Speaker 2>Game was already I'm sorry how. <v Speaker 3>Much seventy yeah, just ninety. So people are like, you know, <v Speaker 3>people wanted me to be mad. People wanted the thumbnail <v Speaker 3>to be like, all right, sucked, And it's like, oh, <v Speaker 3>I I would have done that if I knew you <v Speaker 3>wanted that, I would. <v Speaker 1>Have done that. <v Speaker 2>In a situation. It's better for clicks in a situation <v Speaker 2>where you know you're damned if you do, damned if <v Speaker 2>you don't. Why don't you just say what you actually mean? Anyway? <v Speaker 3>So the thing is, I always say what I mean <v Speaker 3>in the video, like I don't lie. <v Speaker 1>Oh the thumb nail, but the thumbnail and the title. <v Speaker 3>I never know if I should go negative overly positive. <v Speaker 3>So I tried to walk a middle ground today. I <v Speaker 3>just call it there was a direct. Well, what I <v Speaker 3>did was I called it that direct was so because <v Speaker 3>the direct sixty minutes I said the direct was so <v Speaker 3>big and needed its own ZIP code. Was my title, <v Speaker 3>which I thought was funny, but then the video was bombing, <v Speaker 3>so I just changed it to so we need to <v Speaker 3>talk about that Nintendo directs A it's a it's a mess. <v Speaker 3>It was also because when people don't like the direct, <v Speaker 3>my direct reactions always get really poor views because what <v Speaker 3>happens normally is people watch the direct if they love it, <v Speaker 3>they want to see what people have to say about it, <v Speaker 3>and they also want to see like, oh, this happened, <v Speaker 3>I wonder what would thought of this? But when nothing happens, <v Speaker 3>there's no real reason to then go and watch me <v Speaker 3>talk about it for thirty minutes. Thanks for being here, <v Speaker 3>by the way, which. <v Speaker 1>Is why I don't just want to go over it again, <v Speaker 1>and I want to actually respond, I guess and look <v Speaker 1>at the comments of people are saying, So we're gonna <v Speaker 1>do that after I show Kimberly some things. Okay, if <v Speaker 1>I can deviate quickly one time, and I don't. I <v Speaker 1>don't want to get into this too much. But I <v Speaker 1>missed the last. <v Speaker 3>Two weeks of episodes, and also missed yesterday Thursday because <v Speaker 3>well that one's obvious because there was a. <v Speaker 2>Direct Today's Thursday. <v Speaker 1>Now I thought all day I thought today was Thursday <v Speaker 1>as well, because we do this on Thursday and also <v Speaker 1>directs and normally on Thursday. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, we don't really have a concept of time anymore so. <v Speaker 3>Much so yeah, yeah, no, I have no concept of time. <v Speaker 3>So also Bengal's not here because he got he that <v Speaker 3>pesky little, pesky little rat, pesky little sexy Italian guy. <v Speaker 1>He went and got a job. Yeah, yeah, sucks, a <v Speaker 1>fancy job, yes, suck. <v Speaker 2>That he studied for because Bingle, by the way, he. <v Speaker 3>Congrats, I already have to him, well, I'm very proud <v Speaker 3>of him. Actually, congratulations, Bingle. I don't know how much <v Speaker 3>he said, so I'm not going to say too much. <v Speaker 2>Don't don't reveal his. <v Speaker 3>But he's you know, he's he He's not sure what <v Speaker 3>his hours are going to be yet. <v Speaker 1>I would love to work the schedule. <v Speaker 3>Of the part around him, because everyone's been everyone likes <v Speaker 3>him so much, so. <v Speaker 2>Good, and he knows about this stuff. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, I don't so I definitely want to find a <v Speaker 3>way to work him in. I don't know if it's <v Speaker 3>if it's possible, because if he's working Monday through Friday, <v Speaker 3>the last thing he's going to want to do is <v Speaker 3>come up here on a Saturday. <v Speaker 1>It worked for him when he had nothing else going <v Speaker 1>on here. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I mean, maybe we could patch him in with that. <v Speaker 3>That's the other thing I was thinking. Maybe he could <v Speaker 3>be like if it was you and me, maybe he <v Speaker 3>could be a voice in the clouds. <v Speaker 1>You know, maybe he could. <v Speaker 2>Just edit him into a cloud. <v Speaker 3>Well, I figured he would just be on his in <v Speaker 3>his room on camera and he would just cut to <v Speaker 3>him sometimes. Okay, you know, we'll figure it out because <v Speaker 3>I love him and I want to get him involved. <v Speaker 1>And then just an apology. <v Speaker 3>For the last two weeks, I was tweeting about it, well, <v Speaker 3>I had Max tweet about it, and I was posting <v Speaker 3>in the discord just saying personal reasons. And I will <v Speaker 3>reveal to you now those personal reasons. I don't want <v Speaker 3>to get into it too much. But I was in Texas. <v Speaker 3>I went to Texas for a whole week because my <v Speaker 3>my friend, my family, my brother who I love with <v Speaker 3>all my heart and soul Billy from the game Chases, <v Speaker 3>and if you know him, you already know about this. <v Speaker 3>He found out he had a brain tumor, which is <v Speaker 3>obviously devastating, and he and his family were very scared, <v Speaker 3>and I just knew that I had to be there. <v Speaker 3>I knew that I had to go and support him. <v Speaker 3>So I went and I stayed in his hospital room <v Speaker 3>for a whole week. And you know, I don't want <v Speaker 3>to I don't want to talk about it too much, <v Speaker 3>because one, obviously it's very upsetting, but also it's his <v Speaker 3>journey and he hasn't said much about it, so I <v Speaker 3>don't want to be the one to say it. What <v Speaker 3>I will say is me and his family and his <v Speaker 3>friends are giving him so much love and support that <v Speaker 3>his mental space is I think, in a really good place. <v Speaker 3>He has a long road ahead of him. He's going <v Speaker 3>to be fine. We all know that he's going to <v Speaker 3>be fine, and he, more than anything right now, just <v Speaker 3>needs loves and prayers and support. He's big on the <v Speaker 3>prayers right now. So if you're religious, please because I <v Speaker 3>tried to pray with him and he said I did bad. Well, <v Speaker 3>we were playing around. <v Speaker 1>I didn't. I didn't. I'm not good at praying. I tried. <v Speaker 3>So if you, if you are, send prayers his way, <v Speaker 3>and yeah, because it all really, really really helps him. <v Speaker 3>The whole time I was there, he was reading those <v Speaker 3>comments and feeding off of them, and the positivity and <v Speaker 3>the mindset is what's going to get him. <v Speaker 2>Through this mindset and the fact that he is like <v Speaker 2>a very physically strong person. <v Speaker 1>He is buff, he's ripped, he's jacked, he's young, he's hot. <v Speaker 2>They were amazed by that man at the hospital. <v Speaker 3>H Yeah, the whole time, every doctor was like, yeah, <v Speaker 3>if anyone has a shot at. <v Speaker 2>You, great to hear. <v Speaker 3>Really like, he's inspired me to get back into shape <v Speaker 3>and to train it to get fit because and again, <v Speaker 3>I don't want to tell too much of his story, <v Speaker 3>and I don't know what he said. I know some <v Speaker 3>things are public. I know I'm pretty sure that it's <v Speaker 3>public that he lost control. <v Speaker 1>Of the left side of his body. <v Speaker 3>But because he is so gorilla strong, he was able <v Speaker 3>to start figuring out how to walk by supporting his <v Speaker 3>bad side with his upper body strength, and through that <v Speaker 3>he has made some incredible progress that I is so <v Speaker 3>incredible that. You know, again, I wish I could tell more. <v Speaker 3>I have videos on my phone, but it's all his <v Speaker 3>story to tell. And yeah, so anyway, it's been a <v Speaker 3>big part of my mind and my and my life <v Speaker 3>the last couple of weeks is his journey and being <v Speaker 3>there for him. So I gotta be honest too, And <v Speaker 3>that's all I'll say about that. Love you, Billy if <v Speaker 3>you see this, and uh, yeah, that's all I'll say <v Speaker 3>about that. But I got to say too, with all <v Speaker 3>of that on my mind and a lot of other things, <v Speaker 3>you know, going on recently in our personal life. It's <v Speaker 3>another reason why when this this direct, I gotta be honest, <v Speaker 3>I was just happy to sit down and watch something <v Speaker 3>for sixty minutes. Oh my phone's playing, Sorry about that. <v Speaker 3>This happened then and not when I was being deep <v Speaker 3>in sentiment. I gotta yeah, I'm totally I mean totally, <v Speaker 3>totally for real, just to because that this was also <v Speaker 3>the first thing I've done for content since I've kind <v Speaker 3>of been back in like my mindset's kind of gone <v Speaker 3>back to like, Okay, I think I can start making <v Speaker 3>some videos again. Yeah, it was nice to just sit <v Speaker 3>down for sixty minutes and wash the Nintendo stuff, and honestly, <v Speaker 3>like I didn't really care about anything. <v Speaker 1>I just it was just nice. <v Speaker 3>So I think that's another reason why I wasn't too <v Speaker 3>upset or like, I think it was fine. <v Speaker 1>It was honestly fine. Yeah, it was good. <v Speaker 2>It was you know, at the end of the day, <v Speaker 2>they're just telling you what video games are coming out. <v Speaker 2>It's just a video games. <v Speaker 1>It's not that serious, you know what I mean. <v Speaker 3>All Right, Okay, all right, cool, let's jump directly in. <v Speaker 3>Let's jump fifteen feet in if that's okay with you, Kim, <v Speaker 3>that a specific number. <v Speaker 1>Because I love you fifteen. <v Speaker 3>All right, So this this thing was an hour Kim, <v Speaker 3>and I just want to show you some of the highlights, <v Speaker 3>if that's okay, things that I think Kim will enjoy. <v Speaker 3>So firstly, we watched the Mario movie together and they <v Speaker 3>announced the Super Mario Galaxy movie. <v Speaker 2>That's not a lot of people were predicting was going <v Speaker 2>to be the next one. Yeah. <v Speaker 3>It was kind of set up and obvious because in <v Speaker 3>a great way because the lumor sprite you remember in the <v Speaker 3>prison with Luigi, that. <v Speaker 1>Was that's from Mario Galaxy. Yeah, so it was like <v Speaker 1>a really I know, you know, I'm just I'm explaining, <v Speaker 1>I know, you know. So Yeah, and then. <v Speaker 3>They had a little interview here with the I guess <v Speaker 3>the guy that's in charge of illumination whatever CEO, and <v Speaker 3>he was talking about how he's not only paying tribute <v Speaker 3>to the Galaxy franchise, but to Mario's like wider universe franchise. <v Speaker 3>And I have full faith in that because you know, <v Speaker 3>say what you want about the first movie, I really <v Speaker 3>liked it. I thought it was fun, it's cute, It's <v Speaker 3>not something I would watch, you know, repeatedly, but. <v Speaker 1>I liked it. I actually would watch it. I feel <v Speaker 1>like I would watch it again. Now I haven't watched <v Speaker 1>it in a minute. <v Speaker 2>I think we've only seen it the one we're sure. <v Speaker 1>At one time. Yeah. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, there were just so many like tributes and little <v Speaker 3>hidden Easter eggs and like, uh yeah, just references to <v Speaker 3>Mario law and I feel like you can rewatch that <v Speaker 3>movie a few times and still spot some of it. <v Speaker 3>So yeah, yeah, I have complete faith. The one thing <v Speaker 3>I ask, and he did mention that he's going to <v Speaker 3>be he did mention that he's going to be taking <v Speaker 3>the Nintendo music, the Mario music and doing like remixes <v Speaker 3>and like doing some cool stuff with it for the movie. <v Speaker 3>The one thing I ask is really lean into that. <v Speaker 3>Please Mario movie people, because if you remember Kim, the <v Speaker 3>first movie used so many licensed. <v Speaker 2>Like yeah, like Mario anything. No. <v Speaker 3>I remember when the worst one for me was when <v Speaker 3>I got in the Mario cuts and then they raced <v Speaker 3>around Donkey Kongs. Yeah, that would have been a perfect <v Speaker 3>place to put either like a Mario cut theme song <v Speaker 3>or the Donkey Kong country theme and like a remix <v Speaker 3>of that. <v Speaker 1>But you know what they did. I'm pretty sure that <v Speaker 1>was where they played the aha take on me. <v Speaker 3>I know they had that song in the movie. It <v Speaker 3>was it was, it was just I think that was <v Speaker 3>a song. It was a song that didn't fit. <v Speaker 1>It did not And every time I watch it back, <v Speaker 1>it's like, Oh, you're just cramming in generic songs for <v Speaker 1>the soundtras. <v Speaker 2>And why either because the licensing for that would have <v Speaker 2>been way more expensive. I know, I know the Nintendo <v Speaker 2>music that you already had. <v Speaker 3>I oh, I know, I know. So anyway, I thought <v Speaker 3>you would like that, even though there wasn't much of it. <v Speaker 3>I feel like I haven't. I'm gonna have a really <v Speaker 3>hard time not talking about some stuff. But they're also <v Speaker 3>bringing Galaxy one into in a combo pack, which I <v Speaker 3>don't know if this upset people will have to look <v Speaker 3>at my comments in a second or my video. It <v Speaker 3>bothers me a teeny tiny bit just because they already <v Speaker 3>released Mario Galaxy in that triple pack. <v Speaker 2>Yep. I was just about to ask. <v Speaker 3>If that that was five years ago, but that was <v Speaker 3>the triple pack they pulled from the show. <v Speaker 2>The limited one. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, so now they're re re releasing it. But they're <v Speaker 3>also adding in Galaxy to the Disney Vault. They are <v Speaker 3>taking out of the vault, and it's just a straight port. <v Speaker 3>It's it's not a remake or a remaster. It's just <v Speaker 3>the Wee game on switch to an email. <v Speaker 1>I don't think I could have been an email. <v Speaker 3>It could have been better, I think, And you know, <v Speaker 3>we don't know the price yet, but if that's like <v Speaker 3>the price too much, it was. <v Speaker 1>Just funny high five. It was just funny. I liked it. <v Speaker 3>One hundred dollars, No, it'll be like fifty or sixty probably, <v Speaker 3>but still. <v Speaker 2>Got two games and they're gonna want one hundred dollars. <v Speaker 3>There's two sick of mebos that go with it though, yeah, <v Speaker 3>one hundred yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, a piece. And it's <v Speaker 3>also it's April second next year, which is a way way. <v Speaker 3>But I guess, well, they're probably lining it up with <v Speaker 3>the movie really right, which I think. <v Speaker 2>Is they're already done. <v Speaker 1>What do you need to Did you like the tennis game, <v Speaker 1>the Mario Tennis? <v Speaker 2>I played it for a minute, so all right, never. <v Speaker 1>Mind, we can skip that thing. <v Speaker 2>Put in another one. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, I'd love to show you. I'm trying. <v Speaker 1>There. <v Speaker 3>We go it's uh, we're gonna go through the whole <v Speaker 3>thing if we keep doing this. But it's it's Mario <v Speaker 3>tennis fever. You have a fever bar now that does something? <v Speaker 3>Can't remember flame shot, who knows. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, it seems to be fire. <v Speaker 3>But there's all these different rackets and they do different <v Speaker 3>abilities like that one does like an ice thing, which <v Speaker 3>I was saying, I think that's great. I think adding <v Speaker 3>in like the abilities of like items from the Mario universe. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, to the tennis makes a lot of sense. <v Speaker 2>A basic game, like a tennis game, you have to <v Speaker 2>add some sort of other element because how else is <v Speaker 2>it going to be worth money to buy it? <v Speaker 1>Well, they had to do something because otherwise they'll just <v Speaker 1>be doing ACES again. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, that's what I'm saying, Like, it's just it's just <v Speaker 2>tennis like other things. But it had a story mode. <v Speaker 1>Right, I was about to say Aces actually had a <v Speaker 1>pretty decent story. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, you said you liked that one. <v Speaker 3>Out of all of the sports games, it was the <v Speaker 3>best one. And they have added a story mode in <v Speaker 3>this one too. Okay, well there you go then, so <v Speaker 3>hopefully it's one hundred, one hundred dollars, says Kimberly, I <v Speaker 3>feel like you're interested, So I'm having a hard time <v Speaker 3>not just tell yeah, yeah, yeah, that's what I mean. <v Speaker 3>I wanted to skip around, but I'm. <v Speaker 2>Having skipping around at it and going all right, next one. <v Speaker 1>This is Mario Wonder it's a switch to edition. <v Speaker 2>Oh, I'm just realizing that little cat thing was in <v Speaker 2>the old games and I was wondering where he came from, <v Speaker 2>the little guy. When you have your kid play the <v Speaker 2>game and they plays the little cat thing, the. <v Speaker 1>Toad cat, Well, know what do you mean. <v Speaker 2>Ninja looking cat thing? Mm, he's in like a little suit. <v Speaker 2>Yeah he was, you see him? Yeah? <v Speaker 3>Them, Oh that the his name's I don't remember. It's <v Speaker 3>a play. I don't know what it is. <v Speaker 2>But like, that little guy was in the old games. <v Speaker 2>And yeah, when I saw the new version of the <v Speaker 2>character that they've done, I didn't know that was the <v Speaker 2>same thing this whole time and been like, where did <v Speaker 2>that come from? Now I'm looking at it and I <v Speaker 2>feel stupid. <v Speaker 1>That's him. That's the cat man. It's Felix, Felix the cat. <v Speaker 2>No Felix, not that one. <v Speaker 3>So this is more doc so what Nintendo had been doing. <v Speaker 3>Kim and I'm sure you're aware of this. They've been <v Speaker 3>releasing switch to editions of games. <v Speaker 2>Like DC to make you buy it again. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, okay, so you get it. So this is a <v Speaker 3>lot of co op DC. So it's a lot of <v Speaker 3>like mini games and battle battle modes and stuff like that. <v Speaker 1>It's fine. <v Speaker 3>My my take on this was like a lot of <v Speaker 3>these older games I've already beaten, kind of like hung <v Speaker 3>back up on the shelf. I don't really feel the <v Speaker 3>need to dust them off, pump twenty bucks into them <v Speaker 3>and play some mini games. It's the kind of thing <v Speaker 3>like if it was in there at launch, I probably <v Speaker 3>would have messed around with it. Yeah, but it wouldn't <v Speaker 3>have been something I spent much time in, So why <v Speaker 3>would I drop twenty dollars on it now? <v Speaker 2>I think the demographic for these is more for like <v Speaker 2>the kids that haven't gotten to play these yet and <v Speaker 2>now they have their own switch. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, if you haven't played it yet, yeah sure, yeah, <v Speaker 3>but then it is it is also like some little <v Speaker 3>fluff yoc that's gonna cost parents an extra probably twenty <v Speaker 3>bucks on top of Yeah, so you know, it's kind <v Speaker 3>of why people are getting annoyed. <v Speaker 1>They also made a talking flower. <v Speaker 2>That's cute. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, I forgot to talk about that. <v Speaker 2>What is it? What's it for? <v Speaker 1>They didn't really say it just talks out. <v Speaker 2>Like the alarm clock. Fifty dollars. <v Speaker 1>You're probably not wrong, Okay. <v Speaker 3>The next thing is the thing that I that I <v Speaker 3>wanted you to see the most, And I think you're <v Speaker 3>going to get excited, and then I think I might <v Speaker 3>ruin it for you. <v Speaker 1>Oh and there's a nervous there's also no sound, but <v Speaker 1>she's watching. I'm interested, she's interested. Hooked me yo, she <v Speaker 1>isn't screen. <v Speaker 2>What's the catch this time? <v Speaker 1>Well, you're going to see Kimberly Kimbley's a big Yoshi fan. <v Speaker 1>So we have a talk. We have a talking book here, okay. <v Speaker 2>Oh is it a story book thing like the Page <v Speaker 2>Master movie? Yes, mcaulay culkin in this. <v Speaker 1>Yes, have you seen it? <v Speaker 3>No, McAuley Culkin's not in it. For like two seconds, <v Speaker 3>caulleay Culkin's not in it. That would be great though, <v Speaker 3>if he was. <v Speaker 2>Did you've ever play the Page Master game? That was <v Speaker 2>pretty good? <v Speaker 1>No? No, I didn't. <v Speaker 2>Ten dollars. <v Speaker 1>Ten dollars, now. <v Speaker 2>Well maybe I have it actually just play it? <v Speaker 1>Okay, free? <v Speaker 2>Yeah, free, for you. <v Speaker 3>Okay, well, here it is. Here's Yoshi book Master book Master. No, <v Speaker 3>it's something the Ventures of book Man or something. It's <v Speaker 3>but I don't know, I'm making it up. It's book something. <v Speaker 2>Well, that's cute and I'll play it obviously. <v Speaker 3>I know it's hard for you to tell because you're <v Speaker 3>watching on a smaller screen, but it's like a claymation <v Speaker 3>stop motion. <v Speaker 2>It's cute. <v Speaker 1>It's really cute. <v Speaker 2>So the thing they'd gone full claymation, Yeah. <v Speaker 1>The thing I was. <v Speaker 3>I was so I was excited because, like you know, <v Speaker 3>we played the last Yoshi game together on Switch. <v Speaker 1>It was very easy. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, and when I saw this, I was hoping it <v Speaker 3>was going back to more of the Yoshi Island roots <v Speaker 3>that we like. Yeah, difficult, but yeah, but the more <v Speaker 3>I look at it, the more I'm wondering if it's <v Speaker 3>just like a storybook kind of game where it's like <v Speaker 3>a pop up sort of kids game. <v Speaker 2>I think they've kind of relegated Yoshi to the kids. <v Speaker 1>Game section, which is really unfortunate. <v Speaker 2>I mean, they're still cute and conceptually they are doing <v Speaker 2>some interesting things, like the visuals are nice like this one, <v Speaker 2>and the crafted world. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, you were all about the craft. <v Speaker 2>Oh my god, it was so cool. But oh, that's <v Speaker 2>I like him. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, I thought you'd like him. He's awesome. <v Speaker 2>Yeah like that guy a little swampy. Yeah, it's I'm <v Speaker 2>gonna assume this is for kids. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, it gave me Princess Pete showtime vibes of like <v Speaker 3>little diorama areas. Maybe you jump into a page and <v Speaker 3>then you yeah, yeah, but. <v Speaker 2>It's cute and I'll play it, and you've got my <v Speaker 2>money one hundred dollars, one hundred dollars here, you go, <v Speaker 2>take my money. <v Speaker 3>So all of that, Kim was the first twenty minutes <v Speaker 3>of an hour long direct, and it was all the <v Speaker 3>fortieth anniversary Mario stuff. Okay, so kind of cool that <v Speaker 3>they did that last year or last time they did <v Speaker 3>a thirty fifth Mario. It was a dedicated direct and <v Speaker 3>they kind of just slotted it into this one, and <v Speaker 3>I'm kind of about that. It's kind of fun. Yeah, <v Speaker 3>I didn't expect it. Then we got to look at <v Speaker 3>a bunch of random games. This is Minecraft in Australia, <v Speaker 3>but yeah it's not Minecraft. It doesn't look like well no, <v Speaker 3>I mean it does, but it doesn't right. <v Speaker 2>Oh, I like the shark. Though. <v Speaker 1>You know there's a kangaroo with horns. <v Speaker 2>Oh you're going to play this? I'm sure? Why does <v Speaker 2>he have horns? <v Speaker 3>I think I think I'm a bad Australian, but I <v Speaker 3>think that's a different kind of animal. No, like a <v Speaker 3>like a jackalope or something. <v Speaker 2>Now, a jackalope is funny with antlers. <v Speaker 1>I don't not really. Well, well, kangaroos don't have horns, <v Speaker 1>so I don't right, they. <v Speaker 2>Just put them on there for no parent reason. <v Speaker 3>Well, maybe it's a mythical creature, or maybe they just <v Speaker 3>made it up for the game, or maybe I'm just <v Speaker 3>a bad Australian And somewhere in Tasmania they have. <v Speaker 2>Horned Kno, no, no, you would have heard of that. <v Speaker 1>I feel like I would have. But you know, what <v Speaker 1>do I know? <v Speaker 2>I think they're just adding things to animals that you <v Speaker 2>have to make it look more like sure, yeah, yeah, <v Speaker 2>Because what's that thing that was running behind the building <v Speaker 2>just now? <v Speaker 1>A honey badger? No, I don't know, I didn't see. No, <v Speaker 1>getting is cute? Where's the running behind the building? <v Speaker 2>In a second, it's like a weird animal that runs this? <v Speaker 1>Yet that's like a dingo? <v Speaker 3>D my baby fair Dan, Dan that dingo ate my baby. <v Speaker 3>The game is called dingkhm oh, that's that's cute. Anyway, <v Speaker 3>we spent much time on that. I said, I was <v Speaker 3>going to show you the fun stuff. Have you seen <v Speaker 3>Tomadacci Life? <v Speaker 2>Not the new one? Now? <v Speaker 1>Okay, well you'll probably like it. We don't have to. <v Speaker 2>We don't play these every time. What do you mean <v Speaker 2>did Tomaducci games we do? <v Speaker 1>I've never played one? <v Speaker 2>Yeah, on that. We played one on the DS and <v Speaker 2>then we played we played one. What you played it <v Speaker 2>on stream? Too? We played? <v Speaker 1>No, you're thinking of something else. I've not played Tomadacci Life. Yeah, who? Who? <v Speaker 2>What? I'm pretty sure you played it with somebody you <v Speaker 2>played a scoot or somebody. <v Speaker 1>Think you're thinking of someone else? <v Speaker 2>No, you've definitely played you're thinking of another boy? No, <v Speaker 2>definitely not. It's definitely that one. <v Speaker 1>What do you mean definitely not? <v Speaker 3>I don't like the implication that only you played a game, <v Speaker 3>that only this Norde would play Tomadatchi Life on stream <v Speaker 3>with say only I said specifically, I've not played Tomadatchi Life. <v Speaker 1>I'm not sure what you're thinking about. <v Speaker 2>Somebody posted screenshot in the I'd love to see it's wrong. <v Speaker 2>That would be nice, thank you. <v Speaker 1>I just saw a super Chat pop, so I'm going <v Speaker 1>to grab that one quickly popped over there. I don't <v Speaker 1>see it over here. Well, you're real funny girl today. Huh. <v Speaker 3>This was the worst director ever. Alright, come on ten <v Speaker 3>dollars super Chat. No, maybe it was maybe, I believe you. <v Speaker 3>For ten dollars. It was supposed to show off the <v Speaker 3>holiday lineup and beyond, and nothing impressed me. Where's Odyssey <v Speaker 3>two Star Fox and New Banjo New F zero? I'm <v Speaker 3>tired of the rehashes, the. <v Speaker 2>Animal crossing, that's the real question. <v Speaker 3>So I have I have thoughts on all of that. <v Speaker 3>I mean, a new Banjo that's Microsoft owns that IP <v Speaker 3>right now, so I think that's kind of Yeah, that's Xbox, <v Speaker 3>so I think that's kind of in limbo. <v Speaker 1>New F zero. <v Speaker 3>We literally have Mario Cutt and Kobe Air Riders. I <v Speaker 3>think we're a bit stacked for racing games. I'm not <v Speaker 3>saying F zero isn't gonna happen, but I think wanting <v Speaker 3>it now is that's a lot of racing games from <v Speaker 3>Nintendo in three months. So I think that's a bit <v Speaker 3>much Odyssey two. I know a lot of people really <v Speaker 3>want to see the next Mario Odyssey game or Mario game, <v Speaker 3>But I think what you have to remember is one, <v Speaker 3>we just got the biggest Mario franchise IP, which is <v Speaker 3>Mario kartt and Donkey Kong Bonanza was made by the <v Speaker 3>Mario Odyssey team, and it is a giant platform adventure <v Speaker 3>and it kind of is like the spiritual successor to <v Speaker 3>Mario Odyssey, Like it is that platformer like we need, <v Speaker 3>we need like a variation in releases here, which is <v Speaker 3>why I think getting something like fire Emblem is really <v Speaker 3>cool because it's such a stock opposite. We got Fire Emblem, <v Speaker 3>which we'll get to. It's such a stock opposite to <v Speaker 3>like the platformers and the marios, like you know what <v Speaker 3>I mean. And we also, like, you know, we had <v Speaker 3>a whole Mario forty a celebration where we got Mario <v Speaker 3>Tennis aces and a Yoshi game, and people are still <v Speaker 3>even after all of. <v Speaker 1>That, they're like, where's Odyssey too. <v Speaker 2>The thing is, I don't even know if there is <v Speaker 2>going to be an Odyssey too. I feel like they're <v Speaker 2>gonna do something different because they don't I agree with <v Speaker 2>usually do the same game. <v Speaker 1>No, they did Galaxy too, but that I think that's <v Speaker 1>the exception, and I think it. I think you're right. <v Speaker 3>A lot of people are saying that it probably won't <v Speaker 3>be Mario Odyssey, It'll probably be Mario something. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I don't know what it could possibly be. <v Speaker 1>Now, I feel like I agree, I agree with you. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, And when was the last Paper Mario game? <v Speaker 1>Also, Yeah, honestly, I well, I don't know. <v Speaker 3>I was gonna say, honestly, i'd rather Paper Mario probably not, <v Speaker 3>well depends, I don't know. <v Speaker 1>But that's what that's my opinion on Odyssey right now, <v Speaker 1>Like it's not. <v Speaker 2>Getting it right now, and I don't know what it's <v Speaker 2>going to. <v Speaker 1>Look like when we do exactly it's coming. I feel <v Speaker 1>like now is bad timing. <v Speaker 2>For next year. <v Speaker 1>It could be my guess, and then star Fucks. <v Speaker 3>That is the only thing that I think I'll give <v Speaker 3>you because no offense, but I was actually feeling what <v Speaker 3>we might see star Fucks today. The issue with Star <v Speaker 3>Fucks is it's it's not been handled well. It's not <v Speaker 3>a good seller, and it's in a it's in a <v Speaker 3>rough spot. It's in the same spot that Metroid was <v Speaker 3>in where they didn't really know what to do with it, <v Speaker 3>and I do think we will see the IP come back. <v Speaker 3>It's a really fun brand, Like I like, characters are great, <v Speaker 3>the setting is great, but they just can't nail staff Fox. <v Speaker 2>I want to see them bring the puppets back. That <v Speaker 2>was that just for commercials or was that actually part of. <v Speaker 1>It was for a direct presentation at one point? <v Speaker 2>Do that do something? Do Claymation do something. <v Speaker 3>They used to be really fun with the directs and <v Speaker 3>the presentations, and now it is very like formal. <v Speaker 1>It's very guy on green screen hosting. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I mean that's fine, but like it's very like <v Speaker 2>not it's very professional. For are the whimsy back in <v Speaker 2>the games? Please? <v Speaker 1>I would love some whimsy. <v Speaker 2>I would like some puppets if you don't mind, not <v Speaker 2>too busy. <v Speaker 3>That said KFB, I really appreciate the donor, And you're <v Speaker 3>also not alone in your opinion, because that's the sentiment online. <v Speaker 2>When people are waiting for the next Mario, and I <v Speaker 2>get it. <v Speaker 3>I'm definitely in the I guess the minority here with <v Speaker 3>kind of feeling like I want to get back to <v Speaker 3>the direct. But I felt I said this in my video, <v Speaker 3>I felt like this direct kind of needed to be <v Speaker 3>two things. The first thing was it needed to be <v Speaker 3>a big presentation that showed us all of these games <v Speaker 3>that didn't have release dates and give us release dates. <v Speaker 3>It did exactly that every game that I was waiting <v Speaker 3>to find a release date for got it, other than <v Speaker 3>Tamadaci Life, which they just narrowed it down to spring <v Speaker 3>next year. They gave Metroid a release date, Zelda got <v Speaker 3>a release date if it didn't already. Other games got <v Speaker 3>release dates. The second part I wanted it to be <v Speaker 3>is I wanted it to have a few, or at <v Speaker 3>least a couple really big new reveals. And I guess <v Speaker 3>it depends who you are, because getting ahead of ourselves <v Speaker 3>fire emblem is huge for a lot of people. <v Speaker 1>And then. <v Speaker 3>Resident Evil nine, the brand new Resident Evil that isn't <v Speaker 3>even out yet, is coming to Switch to the same <v Speaker 3>day as everywhere. <v Speaker 1>Else which company was going to do so. <v Speaker 3>I not an exclusive, but I and many people figured <v Speaker 3>that seven and eight Resident Evil games were gonna come <v Speaker 3>to the Switch too, because seven is on Switch one <v Speaker 3>as a cloud game. But uh, I figured they'd come <v Speaker 3>to the Switch to as physical games like actual like <v Speaker 3>not streamed. I never in a million years thought nine, <v Speaker 3>the brand new one that's not even out yet would <v Speaker 3>come Day one with all the other consoles. <v Speaker 2>So that's cool. Yeah. <v Speaker 3>I do think we got a couple of those big things, <v Speaker 3>but they're big for certain people. I don't think they're <v Speaker 3>big for everybody. They're more niche I do. <v Speaker 2>Also, I realized something when you said Tamadacci was next spring. <v Speaker 2>That probably means we're not getting Animal Crossing no a while, <v Speaker 2>because I would assume they would release that in either <v Speaker 2>summer or spring. <v Speaker 1>Yeah. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, speaking more towards summer, because you know kids. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, I was wondering if we'd see animals, so I <v Speaker 1>thought we would get one big thing in this reveal, <v Speaker 1>at least something like Animal Crossing. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. <v Speaker 3>My thoughts on that are that maybe Toma Dacci Life, <v Speaker 3>maybe they want that to come out first before they <v Speaker 3>start pushing Animal Crossing, since they're both kind of cozy <v Speaker 3>games and they're sort of similar. <v Speaker 2>Well, I could have released them at the same time. <v Speaker 2>That's why I was like, oh, we're not getting it from. <v Speaker 3>Yeah yeah, yeah, since we didn't see it, and I <v Speaker 3>don't think there'll be another direct this year. <v Speaker 1>I can't remember. I don't think they do directs past September. <v Speaker 1>I think the next window is like February, but I can't. <v Speaker 1>Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe we'll see it in February. I <v Speaker 1>don't know. <v Speaker 2>Maybe and probably not that much. We'll probably just get <v Speaker 2>like you. <v Speaker 1>Know, Oh, chat SAIDI were you thinking of me Topia? Yep, yeah, yep, <v Speaker 1>very similar. They're both mes yep. Yeah. Now Tomadaci Life <v Speaker 1>is and that was on we as well on the <v Speaker 1>three D well against me Topia. Yeah, Tama Dacia Left <v Speaker 1>is also on the three DS, which is why I <v Speaker 1>was getting confused. <v Speaker 2>Life. <v Speaker 3>So me Topia is like an RPG. Tamadaci Life is <v Speaker 3>kind of like Animal Crossing but with mees. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, so we played we played the other woman? Yeah, okay, <v Speaker 2>same character is wrong singing? <v Speaker 1>Yes, Yes, they talk in this one. Oh they talk <v Speaker 1>in like a weird AI voice, and it's kind of cute. Okay, <v Speaker 1>like I want to go to the beach to day. <v Speaker 1>It's kind of like that. I want to hang out <v Speaker 1>with a friend. This letter smells I'll play for you later. <v Speaker 1>That's pretty good. I think. <v Speaker 3>There's a clip in the trailer where they you you. <v Speaker 3>The player hands one of the characters a lettuce and <v Speaker 3>it has a roma and she smells it and then <v Speaker 3>she eats it. It's like a head of lettuce. And <v Speaker 3>I was like, if it's smell, if you can smell it, <v Speaker 3>if it hasn't aroma, you definitely shouldn't. You definitely shouldn't <v Speaker 3>eat it. But she was like, thank you for the <v Speaker 3>lettuce and then eats it. <v Speaker 1>Oh. <v Speaker 2>I thought she was saying the let us smell bad. <v Speaker 1>No, she like liked the aroma. She was like, let <v Speaker 1>us my favorite. <v Speaker 2>I feel like that probably wasn't let us. That's probably <v Speaker 2>the cabbage or something. <v Speaker 1>Then I met Sting last night. Yes, the good sting <v Speaker 1>who's the musician. <v Speaker 2>No he's not. <v Speaker 3>He's not bad, but the other sting. But the other <v Speaker 3>thing's way cooler. Sorry, I just remembered. Sorry, it's because <v Speaker 3>it let us. I know, we gotta we gotta, we <v Speaker 3>gotta hurry up, which is. <v Speaker 1>My fault, not yours. I know that you thought it <v Speaker 1>was yours. <v Speaker 3>I'm just gonna skim through and see if there's anything <v Speaker 3>else that you'd be interested in. I mean, I really <v Speaker 3>liked the Dragon Quest seven remake that's coming. Oh, Kim, <v Speaker 3>it's real, it's really cute. I'll show you later. Oh sorry, yeah, <v Speaker 3>show the people, Kim. Wait till you see this, one <v Speaker 3>of those wait till you see this. It's the virtual <v Speaker 3>boy coming to the switch. Come probably coming to the <v Speaker 3>switch online. And you know how like when they do that, <v Speaker 3>they have like the GameCube controller of the sixty four controller. <v Speaker 3>This time it's just the full console that you used <v Speaker 3>to be able to buy. You slot your switch inside it. <v Speaker 2>I'm wondering why they haven't tried to do that or <v Speaker 2>the power glove again. <v Speaker 1>Oh, the power glove would be sick Kimberly. <v Speaker 2>It would listen. If this does well, you might get it. <v Speaker 1>Why did I think about that? Dude? Honestly, if they <v Speaker 1>did this, there's no stopping them. They could do a <v Speaker 1>power glove. And also the power glove now would be <v Speaker 1>way better because before there was all these wires and <v Speaker 1>bars and chords because you had to like hang it <v Speaker 1>around your TV and it was a nightmare. I never <v Speaker 1>wanted to play it. <v Speaker 2>You don't need that. <v Speaker 3>Now you could just do mostion because you would put <v Speaker 3>the joy con. I think you would probably slot it <v Speaker 3>into the power gloves so it would know when you <v Speaker 3>were Oh, Kim act I invented it. No, I just <v Speaker 3>never thought about it. <v Speaker 2>I should get it. <v Speaker 1>Well, all fourteen. <v Speaker 3>When I say all fourteen, I literally mean all fourteen <v Speaker 3>Virtual Boy games that whatever made are going to be <v Speaker 3>on the service. <v Speaker 2>There was only fourteen, but also it was a spectacular fail. <v Speaker 2>Can believe zil was terrible, so I believe it and <v Speaker 2>I don't believe it. <v Speaker 3>There was two good games, I believe, a Warrior game <v Speaker 3>and like the Tennis one a little bit are supposed <v Speaker 3>to be pretty good. Yeah, I'm I'm very excited for <v Speaker 3>the Virtual Boy thing. <v Speaker 2>I think you love an accessory. <v Speaker 1>I do. <v Speaker 3>I think Nintendo thought people were going to go crazier <v Speaker 3>about that than they did because like when the GameCube drop, <v Speaker 3>people like literally. <v Speaker 2>Cracked their pants and everybody loves the GameCube I know, <v Speaker 2>but like still like, oh thank god a Virtual Boy. <v Speaker 3>Me you, because it's like Nintendo never acknowledges the Virtual Boy, <v Speaker 3>like it's just such a failed like they moved on <v Speaker 3>from it. Whenever they talk about their history, like outside <v Speaker 3>of the museums and stuff, whenever they showcase like Nintendo <v Speaker 3>through the Ages, it's they always leave out Virtual Boy. <v Speaker 3>And it's just cool that not only did they acknowledge it, <v Speaker 3>but they've remade it and you can re experience and also, like, <v Speaker 3>think about how many people have actually tried the Virtual Boy, <v Speaker 3>had the opportunity to play the Virtual Boy, Like this <v Speaker 3>is a chance for people to actually experience history in <v Speaker 3>that way. Here's as a retro collector. I just think <v Speaker 3>it's awesome. Why no new game, Well because the Switch <v Speaker 3>Online Service hasn't been doing that at all. <v Speaker 1>But you know what, I didn't think about. The Switch <v Speaker 1>Online Service does add online into a lot of those games, <v Speaker 1>and I wonder, I wonder if there's a way to <v Speaker 1>do like Tennis online Virtual Boy. That would be really <v Speaker 1>I don't that would be something, wouldn't it. <v Speaker 2>I don't know how that why they haven't made any <v Speaker 2>Virtual Boy game because they're not it's two colors. You're <v Speaker 2>doing two D the colors on the colors, do another <v Speaker 2>one of those. <v Speaker 3>The colors is the easiest part of the development, Kim. <v Speaker 3>It's not like the It's not like I can make <v Speaker 3>a game right now. If I only made it two colors, <v Speaker 3>making games as hard I could try. If they try, <v Speaker 3>I don't think they have interest, to be honest, would <v Speaker 3>it be cool, Yes, yes, it would be cool. <v Speaker 1>I agree with you, Kim. That would be that would <v Speaker 1>be something. <v Speaker 2>You know, it would be worth the two hundred dollars more. <v Speaker 2>I feel, oh you might like this. <v Speaker 1>There's a sequel to Sweak again. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I've only ever won that once. <v Speaker 1>Well, now it's on a three sixty orientation and you <v Speaker 1>throw them into the middle. <v Speaker 2>Oh, that's kind of better. I think it's interesting at once, <v Speaker 2>and then go back to my Hello Kitty. <v Speaker 3>Well, hopefully it'll also be two dollars like the first one. <v Speaker 3>They had another look at Metroid, which I talked about <v Speaker 3>this in my video. I didn't love this part. I <v Speaker 3>don't know how I feel about that part, like the cycle. <v Speaker 3>Well Metroid okay, well I talked about it in my video, <v Speaker 3>but Metroid is very like gritty and like claustrophobic and <v Speaker 3>like like puzzle shooting areas outside. I don't know how <v Speaker 3>I feel about it because the outside just looks so bland, <v Speaker 3>and it's like not really Metroid. And when I think <v Speaker 3>about playing Metroid, I don't really think about just right right, <v Speaker 3>like driving in a desert, like it's it's a different game. <v Speaker 3>I think it's a different game because like, look. <v Speaker 2>At this, the environment looks too happy. <v Speaker 3>Look at that it does, and then and then look <v Speaker 3>at what Metroid is you know, like, it'sh why not <v Speaker 3>it's two different games? <v Speaker 2>Why not a dark desert? That's yes, with what do <v Speaker 2>they call those little dirt double tornadoes? <v Speaker 1>It's it's I don't know what you're talking about, the tornadoes. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, we're seeing that. They just pick up a little bit, <v Speaker 2>doesn't and they've done google it. It's fun. <v Speaker 1>Okay, I'll google it later. <v Speaker 2>You'll enjoy that. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, I love you. I'm gonna move on big. It <v Speaker 1>doesn't matter, end of the day. <v Speaker 2>I don't like that she went outside, stay in the cave. <v Speaker 1>You make me sound like a misogyn misogynist. Yeah, that's <v Speaker 1>the word, right. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. <v Speaker 1>Is that someone that massages people? Misogynist? Yeah, okay, good, <v Speaker 1>it sounds like someone that massages people. <v Speaker 2>It does sound like someone who doesn't understand what that is. <v Speaker 2>It's trying to explain it. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, I'm it sounds like you are passionate about massaging people. Like, yeah, <v Speaker 3>I'm really, I'm a misogynist. I just I love getting <v Speaker 3>in there. <v Speaker 2>That's gonna get clipped. <v Speaker 1>It's okay. <v Speaker 3>I'm in a little tiny window that the resolution will <v Speaker 3>be bad. This is the Donkey Kong DC I was <v Speaker 3>talking about. So you might actually like this. <v Speaker 2>Well, I like the game. I just don't have time. <v Speaker 1>Story of my life even more so for you. And <v Speaker 1>what I mean by that, people, is that my job <v Speaker 1>is to play games. And even I have barely been <v Speaker 1>able to play anything, but at least my job is <v Speaker 1>to play games. So that's why I can play. Some <v Speaker 1>kim gets like twenty minutes on Hello. <v Speaker 2>Have been relegated too, But wench, that's kind of that's <v Speaker 2>what I've got. <v Speaker 1>You could you can make the videos. I'd be fine <v Speaker 1>with it. Oh yeah, it's put on a wig and <v Speaker 1>a little face if you If you randomly made a <v Speaker 1>video for my channel one week so that I could <v Speaker 1>just take care of baby, I would love it. And <v Speaker 1>I think my audience would love it. <v Speaker 2>To buy a brown wig. No, just be you, and <v Speaker 2>I must just do like. <v Speaker 1>Like Kim's ten Cozy games or something. <v Speaker 2>I gotta mustache. It's important to me, all. <v Speaker 1>Right, you do that? <v Speaker 2>Yeah? <v Speaker 1>Yeah, So you go to DK Island. <v Speaker 2>Oh like the other Don't Kong games. Yeah, and then <v Speaker 2>so you get to oh you do get to do <v Speaker 2>the mine card. Okay, that's all I cared about. <v Speaker 1>So you can explore the island. <v Speaker 3>But there's also a new mode that you can do <v Speaker 3>on this Island, which is a roguelike type mode where <v Speaker 3>you start a run and in that run, in that <v Speaker 3>timed run, you have to get as much emeralds as <v Speaker 3>you can, and as you smash things, you'll find perks <v Speaker 3>that will level you up and give you abilities and stuff. <v Speaker 3>And then at the end of the run, everything will <v Speaker 3>reset and you can try again, and it's different every <v Speaker 3>time kind of thing. And you can also do this <v Speaker 3>mode on other levels in the game. <v Speaker 1>But yeah, you might like this. There's a Weird Ditto <v Speaker 1>game where Ditto becomes a weird little child and then <v Speaker 1>as you find Pokemon around the world, your learn abilities <v Speaker 1>from them, like Bulbosto teaches you how to make grass. <v Speaker 2>Who's making this game? <v Speaker 1>I don't know. Actually it's a very good question, because. <v Speaker 2>I know who didn't make it because it looks good. <v Speaker 3>You don't think game Freak made it, so they can <v Speaker 3>make grass because you know you met. And then the <v Speaker 3>more you build things and the more you like make <v Speaker 3>a town, the more Pokemon. <v Speaker 2>Will randomly sit in this. <v Speaker 3>Okay, good, I'll be playing this. So then Squirtle teaches <v Speaker 3>you how to like water things and so on and <v Speaker 3>so forth. Now at first, I was like, oh, so <v Speaker 3>it's okay for Pokemon and Nintendo to steal ideas from Minecraft, <v Speaker 3>but it's not okay people to steal their ideas because <v Speaker 3>it looks very minecrafty. But after they build the town <v Speaker 3>out for a while and it zooms out, you realize <v Speaker 3>that's just how Pokemon looked. <v Speaker 1>That that just looks like Pokemon. <v Speaker 2>That's pretty cool. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, it actually is pretty cool. <v Speaker 2>That's really cool. So okay, yeah, this is this is <v Speaker 2>gonna be. <v Speaker 1>I'm glad you liked that. <v Speaker 2>I wasn't far hour of the year for me. Okay, Stamp, I'm. <v Speaker 3>Glad you liked that because I wasn't sure the name though. <v Speaker 3>Poco Pia Pocopia is what they called it. Yeah, I <v Speaker 3>wasn't sure how I felt about it, So I'm really <v Speaker 3>glad that you resonated with it. <v Speaker 2>Oh twenty twenty six, Yeah, I know, I know, I know. <v Speaker 1>Well it's a new reveal at least you know. <v Speaker 2>Well, wait it says game freek ow it. <v Speaker 3>Uh well it's it actually says game Freak and Koe Techmo, <v Speaker 3>So I guarantee you Koe Techmo developed it. Game Freak's <v Speaker 3>on it because it's Pokemon. But Koe Techmo does not <v Speaker 3>develop Pokemon games, which means because that name is on it, <v Speaker 3>they developed the game for sure. The uh and Kobe <v Speaker 3>Techmo has developed a lot of things. They're they're a <v Speaker 3>pretty big developer. <v Speaker 2>Well, I like it's a fresh concept and it's cute, <v Speaker 2>it's kind of it's kind of fresh, it's fresh with Pokemon. <v Speaker 1>I guess. <v Speaker 3>Oh this upset people too. So there's Pokemon z A, right, <v Speaker 3>which comes out in October. It's not out yet, not <v Speaker 3>out yet, not yet. Just remember that Kimberly not out yet. Okay, <v Speaker 3>So here what we're looking at is all right, sorry, <v Speaker 3>so here, now what we're looking at is Pokemon z <v Speaker 3>A DLC. <v Speaker 1>Do you do you know why people are upset? <v Speaker 2>Yeah? <v Speaker 1>Now why is that? <v Speaker 2>Because the game's not out and you already want more money? Yeah? <v Speaker 1>Yeah, there you go, there you go. Yeah, it's kind <v Speaker 1>of crazy. Hunh paid doc. <v Speaker 3>And also all they showed you was like two mega <v Speaker 3>revolutions for right, true, which like all this game has <v Speaker 3>been showing us is mega revolutions. It's like the whole <v Speaker 3>thing of this game. So why are these two specifically <v Speaker 3>paid DOOC? <v Speaker 2>Like? <v Speaker 3>Why why aren't they just in the game it's also like, <v Speaker 3>you know, out of all the mega evolutions I've seen, <v Speaker 3>most of them look pretty average. This is right true, <v Speaker 3>and actually they look kind of cool. So it's it's <v Speaker 3>like they've taken like the best one and they're like, oh, <v Speaker 3>this one's actually pretty cool. We should make people pay <v Speaker 3>for this one. <v Speaker 2>I figured it would have been like the guardivoir or <v Speaker 2>the what's the other one? <v Speaker 3>The creepy dudes, like the bunny that was quick, they <v Speaker 3>just get even hotter in their opinion, in the in <v Speaker 3>the creep's opinions and the people that like them's opinions. <v Speaker 2>I think we learned something unfortunate today. <v Speaker 1>I've seen mackapli as pastial pastial smash, pass, smash all pass. <v Speaker 1>You haven't seen that makaplia a few years ago, did? <v Speaker 2>Uh? <v Speaker 3>You should watch It's actually very funny. Every Pokemon pass <v Speaker 3>or smash, every single one. <v Speaker 1>Yes, he sat there. I don't know how long the <v Speaker 1>video was. It was very long. <v Speaker 2>How many are there? <v Speaker 1>Hundreds? And all he did the whole video was he <v Speaker 1>looked at one. This is all. He didn't say anything else. <v Speaker 1>You went pass smash, but didn't labor. <v Speaker 2>No, And that was it. <v Speaker 3>The whole time, and it was It's actually kind of <v Speaker 3>awesome because he would get to like a really weird one, <v Speaker 3>like a weird looking like robot thing, and you'd see <v Speaker 3>him go, h, it's like why why specifically that one <v Speaker 3>but not explaining it is what made it great. <v Speaker 2>The other one that they like, it's like persons. Uh, <v Speaker 2>Lucario was one. <v Speaker 1>Well Lucario for the ferries for sure, and they didn't help. <v Speaker 2>By making the life size one that you could buy <v Speaker 2>at the Pokemon Center. <v Speaker 3>All I know is the the two that I said, <v Speaker 3>maybe like one of the goth ones. Maybe some people <v Speaker 3>are in a Jinx. <v Speaker 1>I mean, what can she do? <v Speaker 2>You know? <v Speaker 1>I don't know. <v Speaker 2>I don't even know what Jinx's powers are. Jinx's psychic Pokemon. <v Speaker 1>Uh she can sign my kick? Sorry, sorry about that. No, <v Speaker 1>I don't Yeah, actually I don't know. I think so. <v Speaker 1>I think she's psychic. <v Speaker 2>She creeps me out, so I don't pick her. <v Speaker 1>Her and mister Mima, a very creepy mister. <v Speaker 2>Mima amuses me, especially the little British one that they added. <v Speaker 1>Okay, that one's fun, the little British one or the <v Speaker 1>one with like the top. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, any dances I like that. <v Speaker 1>You remember when I played Monstahana Stories. Yeah, this is <v Speaker 1>the third one. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, that's and then as I said, Resident Evil nine <v Speaker 3>Requiem again, it's a really like it's a triple A <v Speaker 3>big game. They've managed to do a pretty good job <v Speaker 3>putting it on the switch I think visually it's pretty impressive. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I think it's actual gameplay photogo because it is a. <v Speaker 1>Little bit Yeah. Well, the hair, that's I always mentioned <v Speaker 1>that the hair always sucks. I don't understand why you <v Speaker 1>would go to sow it's I can. It's hair is <v Speaker 1>really hard to render. That That's why, like, without giving <v Speaker 1>too much of a history lesson, but that's why old <v Speaker 1>like PS one games and everything, the hair was always <v Speaker 1>like a brick. <v Speaker 2>Because I'm familiar I played the sims. <v Speaker 3>The more follicles you have and the more MOULTIONI you have, <v Speaker 3>the bigger that it just sucks the system. So they <v Speaker 3>make the hair nice. But then when it comes to <v Speaker 3>the switch port, that's one of the first things that <v Speaker 3>hair physics have to get turned off. But also hair strands, <v Speaker 3>especially when they designed them for the bigger games. Nowadays <v Speaker 3>there's so many thousands of them. But when you try <v Speaker 3>and compress the resolution and compress the assets and compress everything. <v Speaker 3>They get really like like jittery, like each each one <v Speaker 3>gets really fuzzy. H It's hard to explain. <v Speaker 2>I know you've seen it, you know. <v Speaker 1>So every time you see. <v Speaker 3>A switch to port, the biggest giveaway that it's a <v Speaker 3>switch to game is always the hair because it's always <v Speaker 3>just so fuzzy and like staticky, and yeah, it really <v Speaker 3>is like a thing that honestly, because it happens every <v Speaker 3>time in these ports, it does take me out of <v Speaker 3>the game a little bit. <v Speaker 2>Because it's just lean into doing the clay hair and <v Speaker 2>just yea, yeah, I wish there was like a clay <v Speaker 2>hair look nice because like you can do it with <v Speaker 2>the sims. <v Speaker 3>I wonder if there's a way that you can you <v Speaker 3>can re redo the hair altogether, like a whole new <v Speaker 3>hair system. It's just it's illusion shattering for me because <v Speaker 3>I'm used to it. I go to it and I'm like, nope, <v Speaker 3>it's a similar thing. I don't know why I thought <v Speaker 3>of this, but it's a similar thing with platforming games <v Speaker 3>where they mark all the plat forming objects in yellow. <v Speaker 3>It's like a weird I'll show you later. There's a <v Speaker 3>whole video on it. But even like the new Style <v Speaker 3>Wars Outlaws, if you can climb on something like a ledge, <v Speaker 3>they paint the ledge yellow and they do that in <v Speaker 3>like every game with platforming. So every time I see <v Speaker 3>those yellow edges, I get thrown out immediately because it's <v Speaker 3>it's like a guide. It's like I realize I'm playing <v Speaker 3>a video game. Yeah, here's seven and eight coming to <v Speaker 3>the switch, as I talked about. And then finally Fire Emblem, <v Speaker 3>the new one, which I'm hoping is more like Three <v Speaker 3>Houses than Engage personally, because if it is, I'll be <v Speaker 3>very excited, and if it's not, then I will be <v Speaker 3>less excited because I liked one more than the other. <v Speaker 1>And that's that. Okay, you played three Houses. I loved <v Speaker 1>three Houses. I always regretted only doing one play through <v Speaker 1>because you can play through that like three times. <v Speaker 2>Yeah you could do yeah, all right, three endings. <v Speaker 1>Well there's three houses, right, and you can play through <v Speaker 1>in you know. <v Speaker 3>It's like it's like Harry Potter game for example, if <v Speaker 3>every time you play through, you could pick a different <v Speaker 3>house and have a completely different adventure with different characters <v Speaker 3>because you picked a different house. Yeah, that's what three houses. <v Speaker 3>All right, I want to look at the comments on this. <v Speaker 3>We need to talk about that big Nintendo direct because <v Speaker 3>they were coming in and they weren't super favorable to <v Speaker 3>the direct. I don't think people cared that I was, <v Speaker 3>you know, not being mean about it, but there was <v Speaker 3>a lot of opinions on the direct itself. So I'm <v Speaker 3>going sun to read some comments to wrap this up. <v Speaker 3>That we somehow managed to run out of time, which <v Speaker 3>is crazy. <v Speaker 1>No, it was fun. <v Speaker 3>Also if we missed it. I know I've missed a <v Speaker 3>lot of stuff over the last couple of weeks. So <v Speaker 3>if there's some like podcast topics you guys want me <v Speaker 3>to cover that I missed while I was away, leave <v Speaker 3>them in the comments section for today's episode, or leave <v Speaker 3>them in the discord, or I know, like the patents <v Speaker 3>that Nintendo have been filing with a big topic of <v Speaker 3>convers Anything I missed in the last couple of weeks <v Speaker 3>that you want to hear me talk about, please let <v Speaker 3>me know when I'll try and catch up on those <v Speaker 3>next week. I like, yeah, okay, so let's read these. <v Speaker 3>They make a game, sell eighty percent of it for <v Speaker 3>eighty dollars, then they sell the remaining twenty percent for <v Speaker 3>twenty dollars as DLC. <v Speaker 1>I can't blame anybody. <v Speaker 3>For seeing it that way when games are getting so <v Speaker 3>expensive and DC is being revealed before the games. Even now, <v Speaker 3>I think what I'll say in Donkey Kong only Donkey <v Speaker 3>Kong specifically, because I agree with that sentiment on pretty <v Speaker 3>much everything else. Donkey Kong specifically for seventy dollars, I <v Speaker 3>felt really worked hard to cram it full of content, <v Speaker 3>and this DLC that they've added does feel like a <v Speaker 3>very nice, extra, not necessary but cool thing, like hey, <v Speaker 3>we're gonna take you to DK's Island, which is like <v Speaker 3>from the old games. <v Speaker 1>There's no point to it, it's just fun. <v Speaker 2>And then that's the the DLC should be. I don't <v Speaker 2>think that you should feel like you're missing out on <v Speaker 2>part of the game. You don't give them more money. <v Speaker 1>Well, and then the extra gameplay mode is like a <v Speaker 1>roguelike mode, which is nothing like the rest of the game. <v Speaker 2>So yeah, I think that's fine. <v Speaker 3>It also is like you think about, you know, you <v Speaker 3>buy like an indie Rogue light on the e shop, <v Speaker 3>it's going to be twenty bucks. I mean, like Hades <v Speaker 3>is twenty bucks. A lot of roguelikes are around twenty bucks, <v Speaker 3>So for Donkey Kong specifically, I feel like there is <v Speaker 3>more than enough content in the base seventy dollars game <v Speaker 3>to be worth seventy. That game just kept giving and <v Speaker 3>I didn't even like do all of it, and I <v Speaker 3>felt like I squeezed so many hours out of it. <v Speaker 2>It's a very good game. <v Speaker 3>And then then the extra DLC for twenty bucks, I <v Speaker 3>think gives you enough value in that twenty bucks to <v Speaker 3>make that twenty bucks worth it if you want to <v Speaker 3>pick that up, because it's very unnecessary. So in that case, <v Speaker 3>one hundred percent I think is fine. Pokemon's out of <v Speaker 3>their minds showing. <v Speaker 2>DLC has been out of their minds for a hat minute. <v Speaker 1>Showing DLC for an already expensive game before the game's <v Speaker 1>even out, And the DC they showed was just two <v Speaker 1>mega evolutions, which the whole game is about mega evolutions, <v Speaker 1>So I don't really get, what are we paying twenty <v Speaker 1>bucks for ten dollars for each? Right? True? <v Speaker 2>Yeah? <v Speaker 1>Like, I'm sure there's story DC that come along with it. <v Speaker 1>I don't know if I missed it. There has to <v Speaker 1>be more, anything, There has to be more than just <v Speaker 1>rychous you'd. <v Speaker 2>Hope, but I mean for the amount people are paying <v Speaker 2>for scalped Pokemon cards, you never know. <v Speaker 1>People are really upset though. And then the comments here <v Speaker 1>obviously direct Donkey Kong was nine dollars all along and <v Speaker 1>Pokemon as DC again you. <v Speaker 3>Know my thoughts on both of those. I definitely agree <v Speaker 3>with Pokemon Donkey Kong is. I mean, I know it's <v Speaker 3>it's funny to say it's ninety, Yeah it's not. <v Speaker 1>It is seventy. <v Speaker 2>The Donkey Kong situation feels to me like when they <v Speaker 2>release Happy Home Designer for Animal Crossing because it was <v Speaker 2>a completely optional thing, yeah, that you didn't have to get, <v Speaker 2>but if you wanted to play a separate game, you <v Speaker 2>could play it and it integrated into yours if you <v Speaker 2>want it. I agree, and I I think that's how <v Speaker 2>all of it should be going forward, because I just <v Speaker 2>think it's ridiculous that they do sell you a half <v Speaker 2>completed game and they're like, okay, for twenty more dollars <v Speaker 2>you have the rest of it. <v Speaker 3>That sucks, Yeah, and then that also, like I also <v Speaker 3>have kind of an issue with like not really an issue, <v Speaker 3>but like with the Mario Wonder stuff, Like if that's <v Speaker 3>twenty more. I actually don't know how much more that is. <v Speaker 3>I'm assuming it's twenty more dollars like everything else has been, <v Speaker 3>and it's like a bunch of minigames. I guess again, <v Speaker 3>it's optional. Though you don't have to buy it, it <v Speaker 3>is optional, so you know, Yeah, I guess it's like, <v Speaker 3>do you think it looks good enough to buy? Because <v Speaker 3>like Donkey Kong, isn't ninety. You can't walk into game <v Speaker 3>stop and spend ninety dollars on Donkey Kong. You'll spend <v Speaker 3>seventy and then you'll go home and you'll decide whether <v Speaker 3>or not you want to spend twenty more. So yeah, <v Speaker 3>I guess it just depends on if you want it. <v Speaker 3>I mean, the DFC is all optional and as long <v Speaker 3>as the game itself has enough content, like everyone would <v Speaker 3>satisfied with Mario Wonda when it came out. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, and also it wasn't that game more so for <v Speaker 2>kids anyway? <v Speaker 1>It means his family game? <v Speaker 2>Or am I confusing it with the Wiu one? What <v Speaker 2>was that called? <v Speaker 1>I don't know. Mario Wonder is uh like the new <v Speaker 1>Mario platformer? Did you do play that? <v Speaker 2>I think it's similar to the one I'm thinking of <v Speaker 2>for the WU it's the one where you could play <v Speaker 2>as Mario Luigi, you or the little rabbit guy, and <v Speaker 2>it made it easier if you were the little guy <v Speaker 2>the kid. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I think so, all right, <v Speaker 2>same thing. <v Speaker 3>Nintendo is on very thin ice that getting on the <v Speaker 3>level of e A in terms of greed. Yeah, it's <v Speaker 3>hard to beat e A. <v Speaker 2>They have got their hands in your pockets at every <v Speaker 2>given opportunity. <v Speaker 3>I I feel the nintender have really ramped up who <v Speaker 3>said that Kim has personal opinions on the sims. <v Speaker 2>I have many a beef with EA, But go on, <v Speaker 2>people are so that. <v Speaker 3>We're in an Nintendo community right now, right so everyone <v Speaker 3>is a very angry at Nintendo, and they've definitely ramped <v Speaker 3>up their anti consumer practices when it comes to money. <v Speaker 3>That said, I think it is a bit disingenuous to <v Speaker 3>say that on the level of EA, because like, we <v Speaker 3>still don't have micro transactions in these games, like let's <v Speaker 3>not forget. <v Speaker 2>Oh, don't say it too loud, I'll write that down. <v Speaker 1>Yeah they might. <v Speaker 3>Actually, when Nintendo start putting micro transactions in their games, <v Speaker 3>that's when I'll take this argument. Until then, I really <v Speaker 3>do feel like EA and companies like that are on <v Speaker 3>another level and end of the day too with EA, like, yeah, <v Speaker 3>that some of their consumer practices aren't great, but also <v Speaker 3>their games aren't great, you know what I mean? <v Speaker 1>At least Nintendo are making great games. <v Speaker 3>They're just charging us ten dollars more for them and <v Speaker 3>then twenty dollars more for DC and then doing weird <v Speaker 3>like I like concepts with other things. I know, I <v Speaker 3>know it's not great, and I agree with you it's <v Speaker 3>not great, and I've complained about all of it. But <v Speaker 3>let's reel it in a little bit, you know, let's <v Speaker 3>keep it in check a little bit. <v Speaker 2>It's not that bad yet. <v Speaker 3>You know, we're not paying for skins and Donkey Kong. <v Speaker 3>We do get to still earn the skins by playing, <v Speaker 3>you know what I mean? <v Speaker 2>I do feel what was that that wasn't necessarily Nintendo's fault? <v Speaker 2>Was it that Pokemon game that was paid to play? Oh? Well, <v Speaker 2>you know that delightful miss What was that called? <v Speaker 3>I guess I should clarify because people are going to <v Speaker 3>point this out. EA puts micro transactions in everything, even <v Speaker 3>like single player. That's why like dead Space three got ruined. <v Speaker 3>That's a story for another time. But Nintendo have dabbled <v Speaker 3>in micro transactions, mostly in their mobile games, as Kim's <v Speaker 3>pointing out. <v Speaker 2>And I have a video mobile game that was on <v Speaker 2>the Switch. <v Speaker 3>I have a video on my channel called Nintendo's Greedy <v Speaker 3>to Glene with micro transactions from five years ago where <v Speaker 3>I called Nintendo out on that. So believe me, I <v Speaker 3>was on the front lines. <v Speaker 1>What game are we talking about for Switch? Pokemon? That <v Speaker 1>game the mobile one? God damn it. Pokemon Unite is <v Speaker 1>what you mean? <v Speaker 2>Is that the one where you could buy the little <v Speaker 2>outfits and it was like fifty dollars to get a <v Speaker 2>top hat for your blastoys. <v Speaker 3>I think so, I think you're thinking of Unite insane. <v Speaker 3>So yeah, Well, with Pokemon specifically, Nintendo and Game Freak <v Speaker 3>and Pokemon Company have really gone down an avenue of <v Speaker 3>putting games on mobile and switch. So that Unite game <v Speaker 3>was on mobile and switch. The New Champions game is <v Speaker 3>on mobile and switch. <v Speaker 2>Pocket camp. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, and and Nintendo did it with Mario Run or <v Speaker 3>the Mario Run was only like a that was like <v Speaker 3>ten dollars. <v Speaker 1>I don't think it had micro transactions. I can't remember. <v Speaker 1>I can't. <v Speaker 2>Actually it didn't remember much about it. <v Speaker 1>I think it did. <v Speaker 2>Actually you played it for like a minute. <v Speaker 3>They've dabbled in the in the way if it's on mobile, <v Speaker 3>and they do like a cross thing on Mobile and Switch. <v Speaker 1>Yes, those have micro transactions, but they're not the core titles. <v Speaker 3>It's not like they're paying you to get garrett Os <v Speaker 3>and Pokemon Za, you know what I mean, or having <v Speaker 3>you pay Sorry. Yeah, different mindsets between the two companies. Still, <v Speaker 3>I think to this day it's not a good sign. <v Speaker 3>But also that is the way that unfortunately gaming is moving, <v Speaker 3>like mobile games, Fortnite skins. Yeah, someone said, people say <v Speaker 3>Crafted World is easy, but one hundred completing it, one <v Speaker 3>hundred percent completing is a serious challenge. Look, we just <v Speaker 3>we just wanted to play it till the credits, and <v Speaker 3>until the credits it was very easy. <v Speaker 1>Kime on it. Um my mo mumumum. <v Speaker 2>What the disorder where you have to do on a game? <v Speaker 1>No? No, I've only done it a couple of times, <v Speaker 1>and it was back in the day. For Xbox achievements. <v Speaker 2>Achievements do they show up as like little metal or trophy? <v Speaker 1>Yeah, trophies, well kind of, it's now that gems. <v Speaker 3>They used to be little trophies came up, but I <v Speaker 3>think because PlayStation started calling them trophies. Oh maybe that's <v Speaker 3>why they changed them to gems when they come anyway, <v Speaker 3>ain't no way. Actually, anyone was actually impressed with in <v Speaker 3>Tener announcing DC for games that aren't out and remakes <v Speaker 3>they can charge you for again because they know that <v Speaker 3>you're a sucker. I feel like that's a mentality that <v Speaker 3>happens every direct. I again, I never said that I <v Speaker 3>loved the direct. <v Speaker 1>I said that it was. I mean, it served a purpose. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>And my point was, and I can. <v Speaker 3>I guess doing it with my video is disingenuous, but <v Speaker 3>my point was, and I'm gonna do it live and <v Speaker 3>then hopefully not be wrong. You can click around almost <v Speaker 3>anywhere in this hour long thing, and every game is <v Speaker 3>like a big okay, see, I'm already wrong. It's it's <v Speaker 3>tough because I can see the bar so I can cheat. <v Speaker 3>But every game, almost every game, ninety five percent of it, <v Speaker 3>I'll set confidently what game this one? This is eighties <v Speaker 3>two I'm really excited for. Actually, I should have showed <v Speaker 3>you that game that I clicked on, because I think <v Speaker 3>you'd like it. This is a weird co op game <v Speaker 3>where you like, you each have two colors you can shoot. <v Speaker 2>Oh, and it's similar to something else we played. <v Speaker 3>If you shoot like a thing with two and you <v Speaker 3>add a third to it, it'll like disappear, but you <v Speaker 3>have to work together with your two colors. And I <v Speaker 3>actually thought you and I would like this game. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, it's cute. <v Speaker 3>And my point was, you can click around almost anywhere <v Speaker 3>in this direct and you'll get like a big budget. <v Speaker 2>So you show me all this stuff, show me like three. <v Speaker 1>Things you'll get. I didn't think you would care. <v Speaker 2>That's cute. <v Speaker 1>Can I finish my sentence? <v Speaker 2>Maybe you can click. <v Speaker 3>Around anywhere in this direct and you'll get a big <v Speaker 3>budget IP or franchise or property or game. <v Speaker 1>And I know a lot of it. We already knew about. <v Speaker 1>Some of it's new. <v Speaker 3>Some of it was getting release dates. They didn't show <v Speaker 3>anything a second time without a reason. If they showed <v Speaker 3>you Zelder again, it was to give you more gameplay <v Speaker 3>and a release date. If they showed you Metroid, it <v Speaker 3>was to give you more gameplay and a release date. <v Speaker 3>There wasn't anything in here that they were just showing <v Speaker 3>you to remind you, So I thought that was nice. <v Speaker 3>I thought everything had a purpose at least for being <v Speaker 3>in here. This is for the new Kirby air Riders. <v Speaker 3>They have a new amibo and these ambos you can <v Speaker 3>switch the. <v Speaker 1>Parts around. Yeah. I liked that. <v Speaker 2>It reminds me of the really expensive ones the dragon Ques. <v Speaker 1>Mons that there was the only other no amebo has <v Speaker 1>ever done that. <v Speaker 3>The Battle for Atlas Ships did that, and maybe Skylanders <v Speaker 3>I don't know. I know Lego Dimensions did something. <v Speaker 2>Was a Dragon Quest, the one where they're on the <v Speaker 2>dragons and they come off of the dragons and. <v Speaker 1>They're so they do they come off the dragon? <v Speaker 2>Yeah, they come off. That's why they're so expensive. Becau <v Speaker 2>everybody loses the pieces. <v Speaker 1>Oh I didn't know they came off the dragons. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>well you taught me something. <v Speaker 2>Yep, there you go. <v Speaker 1>Anyway, I thought I thought it was I thought it <v Speaker 1>was good. <v Speaker 3>Because what we needed to know is the release schedule <v Speaker 3>of all of this, and like, I should pull up <v Speaker 3>an actual release schedule of games. Maybe I can really <v Speaker 3>quickly to end this because we're getting over time here. <v Speaker 3>Let me cut away, dark I know, I know, I know, <v Speaker 3>I know. <v Speaker 1>Hold on. <v Speaker 3>Own Ntender Switch Games release schedule twenty twenty five. Let's <v Speaker 3>see if someone's updated it. I don't know if I'll <v Speaker 3>be able to find this, but my point is going <v Speaker 3>to be that it's very stacked right now. I'm going <v Speaker 3>to do this as quick as I can, and I'm <v Speaker 3>only going to point. <v Speaker 2>Out the huh sorry, already distracted. <v Speaker 3>I'm only going to point out the big things right <v Speaker 3>because there's there's This whole list is big, so Sonic <v Speaker 3>Crossworld September twenty five, pac Man September twenty six because <v Speaker 3>I wouldn't say there's a huge Pokemon October sixteenth. Oh god, <v Speaker 3>this list kind of sucks. This is too much octopassber fourth. <v Speaker 3>This isn't updated unfortunately. Never mind. My point was going <v Speaker 3>to be, we have so many things coming out from <v Speaker 3>now until the end of the year from Nintendo. Like <v Speaker 3>every couple of weeks there's some big game coming out, <v Speaker 3>and the release window is just too packed for them <v Speaker 3>to right now just announce something and have it come <v Speaker 3>out like you know, before Metroid or in between Pokemon <v Speaker 3>and Metroid, or like before Zelda. <v Speaker 2>You know what I mean. <v Speaker 1>It's just that the release window is just so packed already. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, and also they always released the big ips around <v Speaker 2>the holidays or around like summer break. <v Speaker 1>So someone said, where was elden Ring. That's a really <v Speaker 1>good question. <v Speaker 3>It's up in the air whether or not the demo <v Speaker 3>of elder Ring that was taken to games Colm was <v Speaker 3>terrible or not. They might be working on it more. <v Speaker 3>I'm not sure, but we definitely need elden Ring and <v Speaker 3>we need Splatoon Raiders. We need to know about that <v Speaker 3>a little more, even though that was only just revealed. Yeah, anyway, <v Speaker 3>I would love to sit here more and talk more. <v Speaker 3>I also didn't look at Chat too much because I <v Speaker 3>was more focused on the comments on my video because <v Speaker 3>I saw they were coming in. <v Speaker 1>I think there's more, but we're out of time unfortunately. <v Speaker 2>Much. <v Speaker 3>Yes, guys, I do this to you all the time. <v Speaker 3>I was gonna say the bonus episode. I guess I'll <v Speaker 3>have to delay it, but I could do it on <v Speaker 3>my own quickly, and I just do it on my own. Yeah, <v Speaker 3>because Kim Kim's got to take care of baby Kim. <v Speaker 3>Thank you so much for sitting with me and talking <v Speaker 3>and this was fun. <v Speaker 1>Actually. Yeah, and if Bingle can't do this anymore, I <v Speaker 1>might need to get. <v Speaker 2>You in trouble. I feel like, what do you need something. <v Speaker 3>Oh, people don't care you. You're the voice of reasons. <v Speaker 3>Sometimes I'm just like, I'm just not that worried right now. <v Speaker 3>I gotta be honest when. <v Speaker 1>It comes to this. <v Speaker 2>I don't want to say that because I know that, <v Speaker 2>like we're on a podcast about video games and your <v Speaker 2>job is video games. <v Speaker 1>But I just it's just like, it's not that like <v Speaker 1>I have other things going on and this doesn't feel important. <v Speaker 1>It's that I have other things going on, and there's <v Speaker 1>already so many games coming out this year and so <v Speaker 1>many things I'm looking forward. <v Speaker 2>To, and so many things video games. <v Speaker 1>It's not even that, it's like there's legitimately so much <v Speaker 1>like look at PlayStation. <v Speaker 3>Look at Xbox, for Christ's sake, there's nothing. There's nothing <v Speaker 3>nothing for Xbox at all. PlayStation's doing nothing. They released <v Speaker 3>one game every quarter, and we have like five games <v Speaker 3>coming from Nintendo themselves before the end of the year, <v Speaker 3>then Zelder and Pokemon and Tamadaci Life and everything coming <v Speaker 3>at the start of next year. Like there's so much, <v Speaker 3>and it's like, yes, we all want f Zero, we <v Speaker 3>all want Star Fucks, we all want Animal Crossing. Give <v Speaker 3>it a rest, just like a little bit like Nintendo, <v Speaker 3>they just launched this console three months ago, and they've <v Speaker 3>already given us a brand new Mario Car, a brand <v Speaker 3>new Donkey Kong, and almost every single main ip they <v Speaker 3>have has a game that's almost ready to come out <v Speaker 3>other than a couple, and people will be like, well <v Speaker 3>what about this thing? Though they showed fire Emblem today, <v Speaker 3>a brand new fire emblem, which like, people love fire emblem, <v Speaker 3>and people are still. <v Speaker 1>Like, oh well, I didn't get a new Chibi robo game. <v Speaker 2>It. <v Speaker 3>These things will happen. Animal crossing will happen, f Zero might. <v Speaker 3>I don't know if Sero will happen because I don't <v Speaker 3>know if Nintendo cares. <v Speaker 1>But these things will happen. We have eight more years <v Speaker 1>of this console. Don't rush take it slow. Life is precious. <v Speaker 2>You know, know how to do that anymore? Because look <v Speaker 2>at how streaming is. You get an entire show dumped <v Speaker 2>on you in a day. I know you not to <v Speaker 2>wait for anything anymore. And anytime that they give you <v Speaker 2>a date, think about how you feel. And you order <v Speaker 2>something from Amazon it says it's gonna come two days <v Speaker 2>from now. You gough. <v Speaker 1>I know, I know, but that's that's my thing. <v Speaker 2>It's like I I just we've been conditioned to get <v Speaker 2>everything now. <v Speaker 3>I have been, so I've been This is the last <v Speaker 3>thing I'll say. I've been covering Nintendo stuff for eight years, right, <v Speaker 3>and there was periods where things were like things were <v Speaker 3>coming out like crazy, and then we had two or <v Speaker 3>three years at the tail end of the Switch where <v Speaker 3>like there was just I felt like there was nothing, <v Speaker 3>and then we were lucky to get anything. <v Speaker 1>It was very desert. Now, all of a sudden, we <v Speaker 1>have more games coming from Nintendo at one time than <v Speaker 1>I can actually recall, like even in the switches heyday. <v Speaker 1>I think we're getting more IPS represented, more games coming out, <v Speaker 1>more release dates, more things in the next six months <v Speaker 1>and the last three months than I think ever before. <v Speaker 1>Like we're gonna get a game in almost every Nintendo <v Speaker 1>franchise IP in the first twelve months of this console, <v Speaker 1>which is nuts. It's nuts, Like we are in such <v Speaker 1>we are eating so good, so good Nintendo, Like they're <v Speaker 1>literally other than the prices of things, other than some <v Speaker 1>of their practices when it comes to the actual experiences <v Speaker 1>they're giving giving, They're leaving no crump and people are like, <v Speaker 1>we's f zero, I didn't get anything new in this direct. <v Speaker 3>There was no new thing I didn't I don't care <v Speaker 3>about fire emblem or. I don't care about Resident Evil, <v Speaker 3>I don't care about you know, Pokey pot Pokey ped or, <v Speaker 3>I don't care about Dragon Quest seven. I don't care <v Speaker 3>about any of the other new things. I didn't get <v Speaker 3>f zero. This direct sucked, and it's like, yeah, yeah, <v Speaker 3>I don't think it was the best one they've done. <v Speaker 3>I think it was pretty good, though, Yeah, I think <v Speaker 3>it was pretty It was at least mid or better. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, it was definitely one of the better ones that <v Speaker 2>I've seen. Jeez had the actual release states instead of <v Speaker 2>just like at. <v Speaker 3>Some point, people are just so mad when Nintendo, and <v Speaker 3>it's like people get mad at me because I'm excited <v Speaker 3>about things. <v Speaker 1>I'm not Nintendo, and I know that somethings suck. I <v Speaker 1>can't do anything about that. I complained about it with <v Speaker 1>everybody else when the bad things happen. Yeah, but I'm <v Speaker 1>still excited for Zelda. I don't know what you want <v Speaker 1>me to do about that. <v Speaker 2>You know, it's a very me centric environment sometimes where <v Speaker 2>it just feels like everybody's got like one thing that <v Speaker 2>they want. If they don't get it, then the whole <v Speaker 2>thing's shit. It's like it's not necessarily other people got stuff. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, and again if like, if you don't want the <v Speaker 1>twenty dollar docs and stuff, just don't buy him. I'm <v Speaker 1>not gonna buy a lot of them. I'm out. I <v Speaker 1>bought the the Kirby One and I was playing it <v Speaker 1>and I was like, yeah, I don't got to do <v Speaker 1>this every time. So when I saw the Mario Wonder one, <v Speaker 1>I'm like, yeah, I don't got to spend twenty bucks <v Speaker 1>on that, and I won't. Yeah, but the Donkey Kong one, <v Speaker 1>I love a roguelike. I'll pick that up. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. <v Speaker 3>Anyway, I really have to get out of here, not <v Speaker 3>to actually get out of here. Someone said, not about. <v Speaker 1>You, bro, I'm literally saying that. I'm literally aging with <v Speaker 1>what we were saying. <v Speaker 3>Oh I don't think so, because I did dot dot dot. <v Speaker 3>But I'm literally that's literally what I'm saying. <v Speaker 2>Dot dot dot always feel offensive. <v Speaker 1>Uh, I don't know, but that's how your mom texts <v Speaker 1>dot dot dot. Charlie text like that too. He dot <v Speaker 1>dot dots things. <v Speaker 2>Dot dot dot anything, especially as a response to something <v Speaker 2>just ellipses. <v Speaker 1>Now. <v Speaker 3>I told him last night when I got to I <v Speaker 3>went to wrestling last night. I'm like, I'm here and <v Speaker 3>he where okay dot dot dot It's like I can okay, <v Speaker 3>I can leave. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, it feels it feels mean. <v Speaker 1>It's not, though, it's just some people type that way. <v Speaker 1>It's really weird the way you guys. I love you <v Speaker 1>so much. <v Speaker 3>I hope you enjoyed the episode today. Please let me <v Speaker 3>know your thoughts down below.
