Speaker 1: Welcome back to another episode of Inside the Bus, Episode thirty four, the big poppy episode. I don't I can't think of anybody else can't. Is there D'Angelo Williams, Jannis, you say.

00:00:13
Speaker 2: Jack Shack is thirty two?

00:00:15
Speaker 3: You don't mention?

00:00:18
Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah, j thirty four is d Angela Williams running back for the Panthers thirty four, right.

00:00:25
Speaker 4: I need to look that up, but I'm need to look on thirty Remember thirty four.

00:00:31
Speaker 1: As you guys can tell, JP is knocking the rust off and is in the because Matt.

00:00:36
Speaker 4: Figures aren't working as well as they used to.

00:00:38
Speaker 2: Matt is now Shaq did wear thirty four?

00:00:42
Speaker 4: What Shaq war at all man?

00:00:44
Speaker 2: What do I think he was thirty two? I think he did both.

00:00:47
Speaker 4: Well, you can't do both.

00:00:49
Speaker 2: At the time.

00:00:51
Speaker 1: Angela Williams thirty four, Charles Barkley, Chuck, what about Malone?

00:00:58
Speaker 2: Carl? I can't believe I insane? Nolan Ryan, Nolan Ryan, I can't believe I forgot about him downstairs?

00:01:05
Speaker 4: I know, damn. I think somebody's like Walter Walter Payton might be like rubbing their mic or something. I don't know. I just will hear like a thing. I don't know, it might have been it.

00:01:21
Speaker 3: Could have been me. My hand was like pretty close to the So.

00:01:25
Speaker 4: Just something to be mindful of.

00:01:28
Speaker 1: We need to know because I think I think everything's fine because every time, every once in a while, I don't know if the audience hears, but you'll hear some knocking and stuff just because people are just.

00:01:39
Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm guilty of that.

00:01:40
Speaker 5: I'm talking about because this is the stuff we're gonna be taking with us next week.

00:01:44
Speaker 1: Yeah, we will be at the super Bowl next week. Yeah.

00:01:49
Speaker 2: Unfortunately, I'll be holding it down team holding it down. I don't like that. I kind of think it's fire and all, like get it though.

00:02:00
Speaker 1: Coop is the fifth person here, like, so Coop is technically in charge when we are back because.

00:02:07
Speaker 2: You're s I was like, yeah, no, technically does work for you.

00:02:13
Speaker 1: You are the high, like the highest and chain of command. You are in charge.

00:02:16
Speaker 3: You're next up.

00:02:19
Speaker 1: What's the first thing going to be implemented?

00:02:22
Speaker 2: Curfew?

00:02:25
Speaker 5: There is no curfew, but if you're if you missed the bus at eight a m.

00:02:29
Speaker 2: You're not playing this. I'll just have rules for Matt, only for Matt.

00:02:33
Speaker 5: Everyone should have to eat every day.

00:02:35
Speaker 1: You should like, you should make something like every day field trips anymore that they have to do and like just send it into the chat or something.

00:02:42
Speaker 2: That actually color.

00:02:43
Speaker 5: Hey, you should make more color, like a Monday's.

00:02:45
Speaker 1: Blue if you.

00:02:49
Speaker 2: Wednesday, but the whole time we'll be we'll be working back here. We got stuff to do.

00:02:54
Speaker 1: What would be funny is if the like switch is going to be in here, like Monday morning, you get in here like before everybody else, and like you're just waiting, you're late.

00:03:05
Speaker 2: I just actually wear a suit for real.

00:03:07
Speaker 1: That would be funny.

00:03:09
Speaker 3: I think what you also should do not to throw additional work under your plate, but it'd be worthy of the cause. Create a graphic and it's a schedule Monday through Friday, and you can be like Monday Blue Day and then we can throw it inside the bus and bust and collab and if they don't see it, then.

00:03:26
Speaker 2: More carousels like the made bed thread to make sure everyone's doing their I do love the dude.

00:03:33
Speaker 5: The bed thread geeked me because when we put it on Instagram, I just mindlessly scrolling. I was like, man, why why do I know what this bedroom is? Thread?

00:03:45
Speaker 2: I think that rooms on Instagram we're gonna do that more often.

00:03:47
Speaker 1: Should we make that like every Friday, shoes the day or a different type.

00:03:51
Speaker 2: Of thread something like that.

00:03:52
Speaker 5: That was funny, kot dses every day everyone got to do a get ready with me video one day?

00:04:00
Speaker 4: Yeah, that would be a good one.

00:04:01
Speaker 5: That would be bro But on top of the or back to the you being in charge next week? The videos you know, like when you set up like the hidden camera and it's like showing what time people arrive to work.

00:04:16
Speaker 2: Yes, that's also a funny one because.

00:04:20
Speaker 5: If you get demons like the second to last person, it's over.

00:04:24
Speaker 1: You could also like I mean again, not to put more work on your plate, but making.

00:04:28
Speaker 5: We've got a couple of ideas for this is it's not this is brainstorming.

00:04:32
Speaker 4: Just you make a graphic every like of when each person showed up every.

00:04:35
Speaker 5: Day that yeah, we're here to out everyone.

00:04:42
Speaker 2: Everyone who's left here just like hates me forever. Just because of how I handled Super Bowl, y'all were all having fun. I was running this place like a dictator ship.

00:04:50
Speaker 5: Should we should we talk about I don't like the term B team.

00:04:55
Speaker 1: I don't like it either.

00:04:57
Speaker 2: All right, where did that did you have?

00:04:58
Speaker 3: You guty.

00:04:58
Speaker 2: You guys talk about this. I think I liked it because I coined it. I changed my opinion.

00:05:06
Speaker 1: It was definitely it's it almost sounds self deprecating, but like.

00:05:09
Speaker 2: That's I guess, I guess it does.

00:05:12
Speaker 5: What's the beast stand.

00:05:14
Speaker 1: For big body?

00:05:17
Speaker 5: Yeah, I just stick with that one.

00:05:21
Speaker 2: I don't even know how to explain myself.

00:05:24
Speaker 5: You're right, like it really is just like part of me is because like I want to be a part of that, but I also want you to be a part.

00:05:31
Speaker 3: Of You're creating something special, the whole team.

00:05:33
Speaker 2: This has been around for over a year because I.

00:05:36
Speaker 3: This is the first I've heard about it. I mean, like I've heard the termed. I've said.

00:05:39
Speaker 2: It started in the Tennessee Bama game last season, like last last season when the last supper, the last supper that Alback steakhouse or text roadhouse trip we did and it was I was like, this is like the bust and beat team right here. Because it was just me, Jared, I think Sharam was there, Voldemort, uh, some other people. Joe Joe was there, Joseph I, well yeah he went yeah he was there, and Alex was there. It really got the full effect well, and also that whole day we were the only ones for a little bit up in the stands and you all are like down on the field, which is fine like that. That's not like bitching. That wasn't bitching at all. I'm just telling the story.

00:06:25
Speaker 1: That's just what it was.

00:06:26
Speaker 2: That's just how That's just how it was.

00:06:28
Speaker 4: Damn.

00:06:29
Speaker 2: All seats were fire though. Yeah, my ears were rattling up there.

00:06:33
Speaker 5: Right under the shade.

00:06:35
Speaker 2: You know, those those seats. I wasn't bitching. Those seats were fire.

00:06:38
Speaker 1: Porter was trying to just get hammered the whole time, dude.

00:06:41
Speaker 3: Yeah, he deserved that. He deserved to get hanged.

00:06:48
Speaker 1: That's not like a knock on him, I know.

00:06:49
Speaker 3: But I'm just trying to always you know, I brought him.

00:06:51
Speaker 2: Up, Jacks be. That was. That was everyone's first that was everyone's first time meeting I was. That's my only time.

00:06:56
Speaker 4: I still haven't met him, which is crazy.

00:06:59
Speaker 2: But you weren't there, man.

00:07:01
Speaker 3: He's like, uh, he's funny cat find in the mountains.

00:07:05
Speaker 2: He's funny.

00:07:06
Speaker 3: He sees you, but you don't see him that much.

00:07:08
Speaker 1: He would like hit on or me, and like I think he was behind us.

00:07:13
Speaker 2: You Oh, he was he was on crazy Hey, like can.

00:07:16
Speaker 1: I go get a beer or something? I'm like, yeah, bro, this is a game, go have fun.

00:07:20
Speaker 2: Like yeah, oh, I thought you're gonna say, because like he's a balls fan.

00:07:23
Speaker 1: He was like.

00:07:24
Speaker 2: He was grabbing me and shaking me every big moment and he's like, I'm sorry, man, I'm sorry, I'm just excited. I'm like, you're good.

00:07:29
Speaker 1: Man. Then weren't we sitting next to each other and.

00:07:31
Speaker 2: You're like, get here crazy?

00:07:33
Speaker 5: Right?

00:07:33
Speaker 3: Yeah?

00:07:33
Speaker 2: He was him here on on the inside.

00:07:35
Speaker 3: Dude, that would actually, that would be a good time. I bet to make the trip down. He likes coming to Nashville. He almost moved before.

00:07:42
Speaker 2: And now he's not even in the He's not even the meetings anymore. Yeah, we used to see we used to see his face once a week.

00:07:48
Speaker 1: This is meeting.

00:07:49
Speaker 2: He just found out he's not in the meetings anymore.

00:07:53
Speaker 4: There's face. Alex Porter might be the most alpha of the whole how he's handled everything. Never had the meeting. He just denies moving to Nashville.

00:08:03
Speaker 3: Denied the full time he is working in the Shadows.

00:08:06
Speaker 1: Wait, so he was supposed to have alone MAT's job.

00:08:10
Speaker 3: No he did. Yeah, it was Jared's job, and then we hired Jared is more of like a flex position. Yeah, and and Porter is a ballnoer is. Yeah, that's why I was still for him to come. But he's good.

00:08:25
Speaker 5: Across from like almost all sports too.

00:08:27
Speaker 3: Yeah, he's a big hockey guy as well, big sports guy. But he's tapped in. He knows, he knows the Internet, which is what we need in in my lane. So the kid gets he gets the voice. I want to say he's like two or three years younger than us, but I'm probably I don't want to ask who Joe was because I I didn't want to be that guy. He was thirtieth time and.

00:08:50
Speaker 1: Joe Joe was the fan that won the Black Friday thing.

00:08:53
Speaker 2: Okay, gotcha a huge Notre Dame fan.

00:08:56
Speaker 5: By the way it works for us, I was like, I don't remember there.

00:09:00
Speaker 2: I he his lover Notre Dame. I respect it because we were at I think it was a top ten matchup, the Bama Tennessee game. I mean it was a big game obviously. Yeah, and he was watching und Georgia. It was like, yeah, like he was watching Notre Dame and they were up like forty and he just locked in.

00:09:16
Speaker 1: Yeah, it's like, bro, we have an all time game going on.

00:09:18
Speaker 4: It.

00:09:18
Speaker 2: He's like go irish, but like I get it. Love that, love it, love that for him.

00:09:23
Speaker 4: He's in Florida.

00:09:24
Speaker 2: Yeah, he's Tampa. What a beast, bro.

00:09:28
Speaker 1: Yeah, I felt bad for that trip when we were.

00:09:30
Speaker 2: We could have we could have done it better for him, but he.

00:09:32
Speaker 1: Was no one person could have done it better for him.

00:09:35
Speaker 5: But all right, Mitchell's the four drop the meme the.

00:09:39
Speaker 1: But we were we were waiting for Taylor because he was coming from Oh.

00:09:43
Speaker 2: I forgot about that.

00:09:44
Speaker 1: Where was he coming from?

00:09:46
Speaker 2: Vegas or Canada? Canada?

00:09:49
Speaker 3: Arizona was Arizona when he like broke down, it was Arizona.

00:09:53
Speaker 1: Yeah, we were, Yeah, we were waiting for him to get to the stadium and like Mell the More and Joe stayed out, stayed outside. Coop Coop coined it.

00:10:05
Speaker 5: Yeah, if Coop coined something, it sticks.

00:10:09
Speaker 2: Coop coin except for uh yeah, but yeah I didn't coin that.

00:10:20
Speaker 1: But great podcasting going on right now.

00:10:24
Speaker 2: I thought you're gonna finish.

00:10:27
Speaker 1: Joe was like stuck outside as we're waiting for Taylor.

00:10:30
Speaker 2: Didn't get the tailor, No he did.

00:10:33
Speaker 1: But like also like Joe should have gone into the game and the experienced pre game, because we by the time we got to the seats like the game was kicking off or already kicked off.

00:10:44
Speaker 5: Yeah, he could have blogged for me. That would have been sick. I would have switched, would you vlog? Curse what it could have been? Lifted exact? That's where it started. Yea, yeah, real warriors. So whateverybody do on their snow day?

00:10:59
Speaker 3: Oh yeahah, we can dive into that more or less of snow than ice. But I mean, we got one solid day where it felt like it was a snow day, and then it turned into armageddon here in Nashville. For those not familiar with what's been going on in the news, Nashville was supposed to have a historic snow day. They were saying anywhere from eighteen to twenty four inches. Weather model shifts, it goes north by two hundred miles, which then puts us in the ice factoring area, and we got ice. It was I know, G can attest too, as guys who've lived here our whole lives never seen anything like this. I would assume everyone in this room, whether you lived up in the north or down I don't know if you've seen ice worms like that. There's a new thing. Trees are exploding, as they say. It was eerie. Everything every minuscule branch you would see on a tree was covered in about a quarter inch of ice just around. All the trees in my yard are parallel or uprooted, except the magnolia tree. It stood strong. I did lose probably about thirty percent of the tree up in the top of it, maybe not that much, but it's still standing.

00:12:06
Speaker 5: It is crazy how fast it went from like, oh, this is six snows happening in the middle of the day on Saturday, to immediate ice.

00:12:15
Speaker 3: I mean, me and Garrett. We were out with three or four of our friends pretty much the whole day in our neighborhood, running around, and then we all went back to my house. We watched the Alabama Tennessee basketball game, We watched the alex Honold climbing event, and then we also watched UFC all three great stuff. After that, around like eleven thirty PM, it's like, it's snowing outside. What are you gonna do. You're gonna go outside walk around a little bit. So we were kind of and within about the hour we were outside. The last fifteen minutes you felt the weather shift from snow to rain, and it was it was miserable. It was cold as fuck, but it was really fun up to that point. Garrett he lives at the bottom of the hill that my house sits on essentially, and Garrett just wrote a sled down and it was like, I'll just bring this led.

00:12:58
Speaker 2: Back and like absolutely to do two days in a row.

00:13:00
Speaker 3: It's a big hill too, so like we watched him sled down it for probably twenty five thirty seconds where he is literally stopped.

00:13:07
Speaker 1: To be moving.

00:13:08
Speaker 5: Oh well the next night, well yeah, so after the UFC fight, we all kind of went outside and that's when it was everything had that like ice over crunch and it was so bright out. We're all like kind of geeking out and we're like, let's go hit this hill and Chevy did it first and took off ran back up the hill.

00:13:27
Speaker 3: Yeah. But the next white actually the next.

00:13:30
Speaker 5: Night when it like froze over again and was truly just ice. I wouldn't be surprised if I hit twenty miles an hour bro fulying cooking and got in like a groove of where a tired kind of dug a little bit, so I knew.

00:13:44
Speaker 2: I wasn't like veering out.

00:13:46
Speaker 4: It was just thinking about how fast you were going. And there's real college athletes are running twenty miles per hour on game day from.

00:13:53
Speaker 5: Offensive lineman almost running that fast.

00:13:56
Speaker 2: Yeah, but it was fun. Why I didn't make it U that?

00:14:01
Speaker 5: Yeah, Sledding down the hill was fun. I got to bring back my ride, don't you guess Jack's ride.

00:14:05
Speaker 1: I didn't hit any hitting any sledding. We me fall and Gabe went to the press game mid day because it was that shifted. It was that two got bumped up to twelve thirty because of the weather. But so we bought tickets like about like fifty dollars tickets, and then we got there and they were like, you can sit wherever you want because of the weather and people not being able to make it. But then then we were like, fuck, did we should have just bought the eighteen dollar tickets then, like just shave some money, But we were like we had like really good seats on the ice. They ended up losing, but when we were walking down there, it was like the perfect kind of snow. You're like, dude, this is sick, like this is a perfect day to kind of get after it a little bit, have like a two beers like at the game. Then we come out and that and it's like just that crappy rain. It's like, yeah, just completely killed the bott turned quick.

00:14:53
Speaker 4: I'll had tutsies though, Was that where you were?

00:14:55
Speaker 1: Yeah? We fun We read tutsies for like an hour, hour and a half and like it was funny right when you walked in. There was like obviously like out of town ors. They would just get super excited anytime somebody walked in and made like a human tunnel like we do for real every once in a while, and like would just get super like give high fives everybody. But like I just wasn't really feeling it. We're feeling it because the snow was done. I'm like, this is kind of boring now. Just I was just looking forward to like snow drinking, and it just stopped right there.

00:15:24
Speaker 4: There was no riding the ship on. You could have made good on the laying in the snow and drinking gatorade. Had we been given proper snow would have been a piece of redemption.

00:15:34
Speaker 2: Amen.

00:15:34
Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I still don't understand the hate that got. But I think I think.

00:15:40
Speaker 4: Were you saying was the visual.

00:15:43
Speaker 1: But you were saying it. And like for you guys down south, like you're you just you're used to like two to three inches of snow. Like up in like the northeast, we'll get seven to eight to ten inches of snow, so like enough for you to kind of like sit down and like.

00:16:00
Speaker 4: Snow.

00:16:01
Speaker 3: We've laid in snow breck bro we we we get decent snow. Like when we were in fifth grade, we got ten inches of snow.

00:16:10
Speaker 1: That's what's that to you?

00:16:12
Speaker 2: That's casual, that's a Tuesday.

00:16:17
Speaker 1: But like that's the type of snow where you you literally just sit down, pour some gatorade and just start licking away.

00:16:24
Speaker 3: Licking away, man, using your hands. You're just in there.

00:16:28
Speaker 1: Because then you're because then you just get you get gatorade all over hend. You just fair. You're literally like a dog eating out of it, that's.

00:16:35
Speaker 3: Wearing out of a and then you got the snow packed on the glove.

00:16:40
Speaker 1: And just because the the gatorade will melt the snow. Sure, so that's why you pour the ground and then like it'll like freeze it immediately.

00:16:51
Speaker 3: Give us a visual demonstration of what it looks like.

00:16:53
Speaker 1: You know what it looks like.

00:16:55
Speaker 3: No, I just needn't know.

00:16:56
Speaker 2: I think we all know.

00:16:58
Speaker 4: You're pouring it and you're just like, oh my god, dude, one more time, I wasn't on your camera.

00:17:06
Speaker 1: Poured in the snow and then you just get in there and you're Yeah.

00:17:11
Speaker 3: And for those watching on YouTube, yes, Midge does have an impressive tongue. It looks it's massive.

00:17:18
Speaker 1: Like that.

00:17:19
Speaker 2: Yeah, if you had that kind.

00:17:21
Speaker 3: Of you're using it.

00:17:22
Speaker 2: We just don't get it.

00:17:24
Speaker 1: Yeah, you just don't get the vision.

00:17:26
Speaker 3: What about you guys? Y'all have any snow day activities worth worth while? Man?

00:17:31
Speaker 4: I I went out there made the horrible mistake of I bought a cheap sled last year, and then when I brought it out and it's been outside all year. I brought it out to the hill that I that I took my first hill on last year. I want to hit the same hill for the first run of the year annual hill. I go get my running start. I jumped sled cracks breaks, I still rode it out, just a slow, gentle decline. But that was the only sledding I got done. But I love walking around, even just during the during the snow. It's freezing, sucks, but it's something enjoyable about it. But all I pretty much did was walk around.

00:18:08
Speaker 1: Your penguin video.

00:18:09
Speaker 4: Yeah, the penguin video. I was proud of that video. I wanted to My hands were freezing, Oh, trying to fly because one of my gloves is too big, so I can't get my dexterity going, so I take my gloves off. Hands were freezing, But shout out to the to the crew, the squad, they were all about. I was like, I can do this by myself because I have the drone. I could just fly it. They're like, no, no, we want to be in it. The video is funny. I was like, man, y'all just elevated this so much more, just.

00:18:36
Speaker 1: And like, I know what roads you're on and just walking like in the middle of that road, just up there. So funny.

00:18:41
Speaker 4: Cop drove by and didn't even swerve out the way. It wasn't in the video, but I watched it back and I'm just thinking, dude, what this is Why you get the reputation you do on the internet.

00:18:50
Speaker 2: Stuff like that knuckling the steering wheel.

00:18:53
Speaker 4: Yeah, bro, picture, but that was mine texta coop called coop when I was outside of it.

00:19:00
Speaker 5: Yeah, we we had just gotten in. We left field red.

00:19:03
Speaker 1: We talked talk about a good sledding hill from him to get from his apartment to yours.

00:19:08
Speaker 4: They do such a good job clearing it. You can never sled it.

00:19:11
Speaker 1: Damn.

00:19:11
Speaker 2: We saw two trucks like clearing the road. Me and Addie went on a walk, and two trucks like while we were walking, clearing it out. And we got out when the snow was like fairly decent mid midday Saturday. By the time we were walking back in it, that's when it started like getting real cold. And Addy's from Florida, so she really wanted to get out in the snow. And I was hoping we would get out there and like the Rich.

00:19:36
Speaker 4: For all.

00:19:36
Speaker 2: Though didn't watch last week. I'm not a big fan of snow. But we got out there and from my point of view in the apartment, I looked out, I can only see the courtyard. I don't have like a road view, and it was just white down there, and like, obviously that's a control little area. I'm like, maybe it's just white everywhere, And it was snowing heavy, and we get out there, and the roads are just brown and just muddy, and we still got a good walk in the in the Nations. But that's like about all we did Saturday. And then obviously, like y'all know, it got worse by Monday. I was actually losing my mind. It's funny because I don't go how much I had to get out. We went to fifty first Deli for fun good drake selection. We tried going on another walk, and we did, but I saw signs of life of fifty person. I'm like, we gotta go eat lunch at four o'clock.

00:20:22
Speaker 1: Yeah, you gotta before I lose my mind really sleeping on the four pm dinner.

00:20:28
Speaker 6: Hey, Danny Rezi, I hit a five to fifteen one this past week because two of our friends have a baby, and so they're like, you gotta just you know, you gotta understand we're on different scheduling our lives.

00:20:39
Speaker 3: No, it was great, but I mean I didn't go. It wasn't like we had a reservation. We went to right ahead a stranger and he like, you just pulled it to the counter.

00:20:46
Speaker 1: That place rips.

00:20:47
Speaker 3: Yeah, missing great burger, great burger if you never had it.

00:20:51
Speaker 4: There, dude, what Nashville doesn't really have any good food. What are you talking about?

00:20:56
Speaker 2: You're right.

00:20:56
Speaker 3: I don't know if you've seen any of the drama going on in the shop this week. But Taylor Lawan yet again with just the cold take after cold take discuss he's talking about how Nashville doesn't have good Mexican food because he's from Arizona, and obviously Arizona in the West Coast is gonna outrank Nashville Mexican food. But the main issue is that this guy acts like he's out in the streets ordering chips in kso getting in there waiting in line. This motherfucker's got a private chef. He's at home, he's warm, he's got generators. He's got a guy in his house Monday through Friday making every meal. He doesn't go out, so I don't think his opinion is valid.

00:21:37
Speaker 1: Last time he went out to dinner with his family list Oh good question.

00:21:42
Speaker 2: That is a good question.

00:21:43
Speaker 3: I mean, definitely twenty twenty five, but I mean probably before the football season.

00:21:49
Speaker 4: I don't know if he did go out.

00:21:50
Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean more credit like for him, that's awesome. He has a private chef. Jason is the man and he makes incredible finis. So if you've eat Jason's cookine, you would understand why there's no need to go out to Mexican restaurants.

00:22:05
Speaker 2: I've had a lot of good I like mexicanity is my favorite type of food, and obviously I've had a lot of good being from Texas. I've never had a problem with National's Mexican.

00:22:14
Speaker 4: I like thank you.

00:22:15
Speaker 3: I'd like they have a good representation of text Max like that it's text mex.

00:22:19
Speaker 2: Here is is good? Like is really good?

00:22:21
Speaker 4: Do you have a favorite stamp?

00:22:22
Speaker 2: Super Rica is my favorite? Or well, I mean super good here. I know there's one here, one in Atlanta, but I love that it's really good. That's almost exactly what you'll find like restaurants like that in Texas. Like that's really close. And then I mean I'm just a sucker for Chewies. Sharon was saying it earlier, like all the all the good like Mexican chains here are like che chew. We got the good ones, the chain, we got the good chains, the good like local, Yeah, what's.

00:22:49
Speaker 1: That place in midtown torches tor cheese but.

00:22:52
Speaker 4: Chew that's like, uh, there is a chews like.

00:22:57
Speaker 1: Where like Odie's and Stuff is on your right and if you're going left, like that's like whatever twenty first like.

00:23:03
Speaker 3: Towards downtown, Downtown I'm pretty.

00:23:05
Speaker 1: Sure like it's on the same road as Odie's, but it's not tor Cheese. But it's like on the right.

00:23:11
Speaker 2: It's on a corner.

00:23:13
Speaker 5: This kind of looks like it has like a car port like pulling thing kind of that's cheese.

00:23:17
Speaker 3: There is a cheese right right next to red Door.

00:23:20
Speaker 1: No, it's called it's like further down. It's like closer towards like where Kung Fu used to be.

00:23:26
Speaker 3: There's like a taco spot, but it's not like I said, velvet taco or something that's not.

00:23:32
Speaker 1: No, I know, I know it may not be there, but I feel like I've walked by like a Mexican spot that looks kind of fire.

00:23:39
Speaker 4: We haven't even mentioned Saco.

00:23:41
Speaker 3: Yeah, Sacho Saco is great.

00:23:44
Speaker 1: Og.

00:23:45
Speaker 3: I put Sacho in like a different lane than I would like a Suprika and stuff right for sure.

00:23:50
Speaker 2: A lot of other places where I'm just like their Mexican food is actual trash. It's not here.

00:23:55
Speaker 3: Yeah, I feel like it's hard to find a poor yeah, poor Mexican spot now fuel. But let's go around. I want everyone to name, Like, if you're gonna go in and a hostess sits you at a Mexican restaurant, where are you taking us? Where if if you go to a like you're to sit down Mexican restaurant, not a sack co, not like a burrito place, like a redheaded, not like a redheaded. It's got to be like a host seated, and then you have a waiter. Yeah, in Nashville, you're asking the guy, I think I have one that's fine, love it?

00:24:29
Speaker 2: Not really that. Let me think mine is gonna be Sinco?

00:24:32
Speaker 3: What location? Because for the locals, I think that that's important.

00:24:37
Speaker 5: I mean for the locals, I would pick the old one that used to be in Common Station. That one's gone, so I'd pick the one in the east. Yeah, it's not my favorite environment, but I would pick that one. The funnest environment and the one that is the most geeky to me is the one in Brentwood.

00:25:00
Speaker 3: Of one is, and I swear I think the quality of their food is better. Maybe that's truly, yeah exactly, But I do like the Brtwin location for Sinco too.

00:25:11
Speaker 1: That's what that is.

00:25:12
Speaker 3: I'll say, I know what mine is?

00:25:14
Speaker 2: That what you're talking about?

00:25:16
Speaker 3: What Sacho?

00:25:17
Speaker 1: Yeah, that's the same place.

00:25:19
Speaker 2: Yeah, San Antonio Taco.

00:25:21
Speaker 5: Yeah, good wings, That's what I was gonna say. Yeah, I would pick a Cinco. I'm I just like a classic. Just give me a freaking thing of k so let me get just like there's different Mexican places depending on what i'd order. But if I'm gonna take the gang, it's a Cinco.

00:25:40
Speaker 2: If they have good case or they have good food. That's like every every Mexican restaurant if they have good chips and like salsa and chips and case. So you can just tell.

00:25:49
Speaker 1: Two places sant and Ajo or Federales.

00:25:55
Speaker 2: It's a little more BOI.

00:25:56
Speaker 1: Yeah, well the Federals directly, like damn near directly across.

00:26:00
Speaker 3: Federals has awesome food.

00:26:02
Speaker 1: Yeah. I do like that.

00:26:03
Speaker 3: I think their food's really good. For like a I went there as like a bar atmosphere and didn't eat until probably the third or fourth time I was there, And I'm surprised.

00:26:12
Speaker 1: For whatever reason, Like Brooke and I felt the same way because we had it Saturday night for whatever, for whatever reason, right after, like we just don't feel good, like just feel like bloated and kind of and I don't know if that's just because it's Mexican or if it's something at Federals, But Santainejo's is fire too. They have good tequila. If you guys don't, have you done the ice shot at.

00:26:35
Speaker 2: Federal, Yeah, I have kind of fire.

00:26:37
Speaker 3: Yeah, it's a fun one. If you're not familiar with this. They give you a shot class that's molded out of ice. You take the tequila shot and then you throw it at this big bell you try and ring it.

00:26:47
Speaker 2: It's fun.

00:26:48
Speaker 3: Definitely sell shots. If I'm picking mine, I'm going I would normally do Sinko to Mayo. It's kind of raised me. My family and I went there on Christmas Eve like four years in a row, which is just hilarious to get sit down Mexican the night before Jesus and JP's birthday.

00:27:04
Speaker 1: Let's go.

00:27:06
Speaker 3: But my my new one these days is not far from here on Eighth Avenue. It's Cilantro and it.

00:27:11
Speaker 4: Used to be.

00:27:12
Speaker 3: It's worth going, man. They have a diverse menu that's not overwhelming, and the atmosphere and there is great. They also have an awesome little sit down bar if you just want to go and belly up. But yeah, really enjoy Cilantro. It's probably my number one has to be in Nashville right now. And the price point is you can't beat it in I up?

00:27:30
Speaker 4: Are you up?

00:27:31
Speaker 1: I'll go.

00:27:31
Speaker 2: My mine supposed to be basic, and it's purely based on like this scenario I have actually like this is where I do this every time I have someone visit me and I just go to super Eca and we've already talked about it. I like camping all like our boys per case. Yeah, bachelor party went there, my parents came, town went there. I've been there. My friend Ryan came in town. We went there, like I just take off, like all right, it's a good spot. They're normally coming from Texas. I'm like, there's good textbacks here. Wish it was in a different location.

00:27:58
Speaker 4: I've never been.

00:27:59
Speaker 2: Yeah, it's it's a little jam back there.

00:28:02
Speaker 3: Yeah, kind of like pegle Porkery exactly Iberian Pig. I like Suprika for what you're saying as well, because you could bring someone like your parents and it's.

00:28:12
Speaker 2: A nice little vibe in there.

00:28:13
Speaker 3: It's like a good atmosphere. It's nice. It's more upscale Mexican, so like you can kind of I don't know there all the.

00:28:19
Speaker 2: Time, so it's still like a good experience. So like I'm going there, like I go to Chewi's every week.

00:28:24
Speaker 4: There, oh my god.

00:28:25
Speaker 5: While JP goes, I'll look at the name of the other place I got.

00:28:29
Speaker 4: I got two if I'm going. Number one El Fuego. Love El Fuego, the vibes when it's warm outside. They have the huge outdoor seating area, great staff. And then I also love Los Palmas, the LP special.

00:28:45
Speaker 5: That's what I was just telling Jack earlier, was like Cilantro's there on eighth, but you can't forget about Los Palmas up in the corner by Kroger up there, dude, it's so good.

00:28:53
Speaker 3: There's also Lost Pamas like down off of Charlotte. Yep, yeah, it's hidden. I tried to go to that little cation the other night on Sunday when kind of like only Mexican restaurants and pretty much Asian cuisine is open because the ice storm our long.

00:29:07
Speaker 1: Wait.

00:29:09
Speaker 5: There's a spot in Green Hills El Polink. It's like in a strip mall type building. If you didn't know it was there, you would miss it. But that was a spot for like my family growing up that it was like you're trying to go get some like chips and kso, Like that was kind of like the secret when we go to because like growing up obviously Maslon, Yeah, but that place would be packed og hitter and then we got Sinco. But El Polink in Green Hills. If you're in Nashville, go check it out. It's just your classic, like it's gonna be what you need it to be. Tons of kso, tons of salsa chips, like you're in and out too. It's so fast. They also have the good mints on the way out.

00:29:51
Speaker 4: Oh dude, the Mexican restaurants hit with the little but with the jar outside on the way out, grabbing whether it's a mint or whatever, five pack a gu like the.

00:30:00
Speaker 1: Chewies or whatever.

00:30:01
Speaker 2: They If you.

00:30:03
Speaker 1: Go to any of those restaurants telling me it's not the best, ain't.

00:30:05
Speaker 4: You, dude?

00:30:06
Speaker 2: I need some Mexican food now.

00:30:10
Speaker 3: For vibes, El Fuego probably is the best vibes you can find in Nashville for Mexican so good.

00:30:19
Speaker 4: Fun fact, the first time I ever went there was with Donnie and it was like a large men's group and at the end when the checks came, shout out Sam Hunt. He picked up the tab without telling anybody. Also nuts to be at dinner with Sam Hunt because I'm a big Sam Hunt fan, didn't know he was going to be there, and he picked up the tab without ever saying a word.

00:30:39
Speaker 5: And I was just like, man's boss move. Did the check ever come to the table? No, that's the most boss moves. You can find a way to have it taken care of.

00:30:49
Speaker 1: I've done that one time, and it was when we went to I went to well, I was at Brooks visiting and like we went to that was when we went to ox nerd or Oxnar however you pronounce it, and like they had running out the beach house like like we went out to dinner a couple of times. I'm like, all right, I need to So like I snuck away to the bat.

00:31:09
Speaker 4: I was gonna say, if Matt was here, this is what he would have hit.

00:31:18
Speaker 1: But like I like snuck to the bathroom, and I had like cash on me, so I was like, hey, can I We were sitting outside and like we had to go inside to go to the bathroom. Got it done, and then they're, uh, They're like, I guess we're waiting for the check, and I'm like, I got it. Her dad like he was awesome. Shout out to him. It's like, oh, dude, that's awesome, And like I just felt like bucket, you know what I mean.

00:31:44
Speaker 2: Have like the biggest smile.

00:31:45
Speaker 3: Yeah.

00:31:46
Speaker 1: Internally I was like trying to like keep it in, but I like outside was like like, no, thank you guys.

00:31:52
Speaker 4: It's straight cash too.

00:31:54
Speaker 1: Yeah, like thank you guys for getting everything, for like the taking taking us out to dinner at the beach house, everything like that.

00:32:00
Speaker 4: I'm a hustler baby.

00:32:03
Speaker 3: If you don't have the bread to cover a dinner and you're wondering what can I do to kind of get one up on an event or some friends, just tell the waitress when she comes back, just put everything online and we'll split it from there. You look good to the waitress, you look good to the friends, and then you guys can split it up accordingly. Don't put your poor waitress through eight splits of a check just because you're scared you might not get a couple you know, couple ones back. Go ahead, just throw the car, make it easy. Everyone looks you like, dang that really kind of helped everyone out. That's when the hard part comes. Just immediately get the itemized receipt, split it and don't anyone leave until the way.

00:32:43
Speaker 5: How do you navigate the situation if there's one person that is against.

00:32:48
Speaker 3: That, like against what splitting it?

00:32:54
Speaker 1: We went out to dinner and I was like, you.

00:32:56
Speaker 3: Don't drink some drinks?

00:32:59
Speaker 5: Yeah, like you know, sometimes you'll go to you'll go to eat and it's just like just split it five ways.

00:33:05
Speaker 1: I don't whatever it is, I don't necessarily you don't do that. It's like you just kind of say for where we got right.

00:33:11
Speaker 5: That's what I'm asking is like so you would rather go hey, no, actually I need you waitress waiter to break this down into all individuals stuff.

00:33:22
Speaker 1: Sometimes like I feel like like we've done we've done that at neighbors where it's like I feel like they have like a they have the table on their little thing and then like seat. I think that, but like there because I have been in instances where it's like let's just split it five ways. But somebody got an app and they had like three drinks and then like someone clearly spent more money, got more food whatever, and now you're picking up the tab for them in like I'm like, come on, or just like it. Like if let's just say Coop was the person who got more stuff, I'm like, hey, just buy me a beer when we go out.

00:33:57
Speaker 3: Well that's what you get that if you if you don't want to split it, just straight up almost go to dinner. We just split it right down the middle. Each person pays their way get the itemized receipts. Yeah, and then you might have do a little extra math on the tacks, but that's the price you're paying.

00:34:11
Speaker 1: Well one one thing that I So I'll do that a lot because I have a Venmo card like a Venmo debit card, so I'll just keep a balance on my card. And like it makes it so easy because like you can like if I let's just say I have like a hundred bucks in the card and the uh, like the amount of the check is more than a hundred.

00:34:33
Speaker 5: Bucks, you can be like, I'll put one hundred down.

00:34:35
Speaker 1: Like I have a hundred on my card already. But also, hey, Jack's mail was twenty five, Coops was thirty. JP's was twenty. Like y'all can venmo me and immediately that money is on the card, so like it won't get like declined or anything. It's I think it's like a it's a very cheap all hack.

00:34:52
Speaker 5: It's also really good at math.

00:34:54
Speaker 1: It's completely like it's getting getting the Venmo card is is completely free and like if you went to a spec like a spid pay. What's that?

00:35:01
Speaker 4: Is this our first sponsored ad?

00:35:04
Speaker 1: Get it?

00:35:04
Speaker 4: The Vemo card is?

00:35:05
Speaker 2: Have a Vemo card? It's awesome.

00:35:07
Speaker 5: Yeah, Like I car the card itself. I'm saying, it's like it's cool looking. Yeah, like a galaxy.

00:35:13
Speaker 1: They have like college cards now too, so it's like you bring it like like if you want to like Penn State, you get a Penn State Vimo card. It's kind of sick. But I just have a blue one.

00:35:21
Speaker 4: How do y'all feel? What do y'all think on like tap us family style meals? Is there a number that's too large for it? Are you a fan of it in general? Would you rather order your own food?

00:35:34
Speaker 3: You're saying a number of people at the reservation?

00:35:36
Speaker 2: Correct?

00:35:37
Speaker 3: I don't think there is because no matter what, let's say there's twenty of us or five of us, Like if there's five, will five collectively do our own dinner and each section of the table. I think can do theirs, but I will say I don't want to organize one. I'm fine to be invited to one, but I'm not gonna be like, hey, let's all go to top us and I like, I like a two or three four.

00:35:57
Speaker 5: I'm also not the guy at the table like conducting the I'm never the one that's like, what do you guys want to do? Y'all get this over there. I'm I'm a behind the scenes.

00:36:09
Speaker 1: Noku is taught.

00:36:11
Speaker 4: Like yeah, it's like tap us, but they're one of the few places that gives you proper portions for top us. I think most top of specific restaurants freaking they they skim you on the portion size, so you got to order a bunch of them. No co you can legit feeds. However, many is with you?

00:36:27
Speaker 1: Yeah, Like i I'm not a big I'm like, I'm just saying, like, I'm not a big fan of like tapas restaurants. I would rather just like get my meal right, I know, like, yeah, I got to know that I'll fill me up and I know I'm not going to be hungry.

00:36:44
Speaker 4: Yeah, from That's how I feel too, and a lot of times if I'm with people and I know the type of orderer they are, it's like, I know this person's not going to tap into the menu. How I want to tap into the menu.

00:36:55
Speaker 5: If you're at a large group, that's when you see where they sit and you go right, it's nothing against him. I'm just gonna go order with my people.

00:37:03
Speaker 1: I will say Jay like and give jps flowers numerous times this week, Like if I'm going to get sushi with somebody, I wanted to be JP because he knows his sushi, and he like, I feel like you know me well enough now that you know my palette, and so it's like that is like a like a clean take. I guess have you ever had Yeah, I've had sushi. But it's also like I like the raw stuff scares me, but like.

00:37:27
Speaker 2: We should get some next week, san friend.

00:37:29
Speaker 1: Yeah, but so like he's like this is what this is, Like you'll be straight, Like you'll be fine. Like when we went to Orgon, he told me what to get and it was fire.

00:37:36
Speaker 2: Oh yeah, yeah, j'all go the same spot or a different.

00:37:39
Speaker 3: Portland Yeah, oh yeah, the place was good though.

00:37:41
Speaker 5: That was with the pink salt or whatever pink christ Yeah, yeah, pink rice.

00:37:45
Speaker 3: Yeah.

00:37:46
Speaker 1: Yeah.

00:37:46
Speaker 4: That we went to different ones, two different things.

00:37:48
Speaker 3: Yeah, the organ was the pink rice one. This was a different one.

00:37:51
Speaker 1: I was knocked out in that.

00:37:53
Speaker 3: You gotta try some uh some nagiri or sashimi and uh out west when we go there some raw fish just like one bite you can get like one portion of it.

00:38:04
Speaker 1: I thought in sushi normally raw and then that technically.

00:38:08
Speaker 3: Nigiri nigiri is when it's like actually over think.

00:38:12
Speaker 5: It's how it's presented, right, is when you get into the nagiri versus yea a role.

00:38:19
Speaker 3: It's a bigger portion of raw fish too, is what you're gonna eat. Yeah, so it's like a slab of fish yep, yeah, no, it'd be like that much like the size of like a cirkick, yeah, chicken nugget. It's almost like a butterfly butterfly philate spread open.

00:38:34
Speaker 2: We're gonna get you right, I'm excited.

00:38:36
Speaker 5: Hey in the comments, let us know where we should go eat in San Francisco food And if you're in San Francisco, say hey, pull up, you see us walking around, Say hey, you're gonna be on Ashburn Heights.

00:38:47
Speaker 3: Come on, come on for an episode two if you're cool enough.

00:38:51
Speaker 1: Yeah, real, did we did we talk about that? We haven't, so yeah, next week, obviously we're gonna be at the super Bowl. Unfortunately, Coop will not be.

00:38:58
Speaker 2: Holding it down. The home base, Home Home Beata.

00:39:02
Speaker 1: The four of us plus Clump will be out there and next week's episode will be shot out there and we'll talk about everything that we've been doing and whatnot. And then the following week we have off. However, the Coop's minions, I didn't want to say the beach.

00:39:21
Speaker 5: Whatever you want, Yeah, five times fine.

00:39:25
Speaker 1: Coop and the boys that are we're here, they're going to record an episode. Coop and the boys that are here, they will be recording an episode themselves, so it'll be a different cast of character that'll here the week after. But just so that way, we're always giving you the inside the bus. We're never missing a week.

00:39:43
Speaker 5: That'll be an interesting it's gonna be fun. If they get more views on us, I.

00:39:47
Speaker 4: Swear, god, dude, I didn't even think about that. I know.

00:39:53
Speaker 2: Big plans. We got a Turf four in the next two week. What are your plans? I can't tell you.

00:39:58
Speaker 4: We'll see who Cooper really?

00:40:00
Speaker 1: Yeah for real, if Coop starts talking more in this in that episode, we'll know.

00:40:06
Speaker 2: Good good working up for us, just got pat on the head good.

00:40:13
Speaker 5: I can't believe it is a super Bowl though, Like halfway through the football season, you're kind of like, obviously you hope that your team is still good. It's like the Titans were unfortunately not very good this year, so it makes the season twice as long. But the fact that we just recorded our last locker room episode just feels insane.

00:40:33
Speaker 2: So it's like a blur.

00:40:34
Speaker 1: It sucks. We're not gonna have Delaney and Clay in the office every week.

00:40:38
Speaker 2: Delay stops by.

00:40:40
Speaker 5: You have a Delaney we never might never see Clay again.

00:40:43
Speaker 2: He'll go like a few months without coming when it's not every week.

00:40:47
Speaker 1: But then like you know what, you know, that first day back, he'll be back there with us for yeah, hours, chopping it up, talking, telling random stories about what he's been getting into.

00:40:57
Speaker 2: What uh, what do you go?

00:40:59
Speaker 5: I mean, I guess we're gonna have another episode before the super Bowl. But do you guys have like an early prediction or thought of.

00:41:05
Speaker 1: Like the game Seahawks by ten?

00:41:08
Speaker 2: I think so too.

00:41:09
Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, you already know where I'm rocket.

00:41:13
Speaker 2: Yeah, what's that guy?

00:41:13
Speaker 5: He's he's like a new guy. He's kind of good dude.

00:41:15
Speaker 4: Number three on the Seattle Seahawks him yet Yeah, Safety, I'm on Wardy but NICKI yeah, you know, I'm rocking with the Seahawks. Hopefully he wins Super Bowl. MVP would have to be the first rookie ye defensive get a pick six pick six, Oh my gosh.

00:41:32
Speaker 5: After Cooper Dejeene had one last year. Yeah, true, but he wasn't a rookie last year?

00:41:36
Speaker 4: Was he Coop? He was a sophomore, wasn't he?

00:41:38
Speaker 5: Uh it's a second year?

00:41:40
Speaker 3: No, No, it was just for sure.

00:41:42
Speaker 1: I thought he was a rookie, a rookie last year?

00:41:44
Speaker 2: Really, yeah it was? It was oh white boy?

00:41:49
Speaker 5: Uh yeah, even the whole squad fly.

00:41:54
Speaker 4: Wasn't he Jones Man?

00:41:56
Speaker 1: Wasn't Coop and all pro this year?

00:41:57
Speaker 4: He was?

00:41:58
Speaker 3: Actually, I'm just more taking a shut of the what was thirteen?

00:42:01
Speaker 2: I wasn't paying attention to what third team?

00:42:04
Speaker 4: Damn?

00:42:05
Speaker 2: Yeah? That was that sounded bad. I gotta work on my delivery for I like no, I like that. Names don't change.

00:42:12
Speaker 5: I don't stay the way you see my delivery on saying you imagine if your delivery was different when you were talking about the old person at the gym.

00:42:20
Speaker 2: That was just unfiltered that I still I stand on that. I wonder what she's doing. She's still waiting. She probably still wait. She's probably still complaining.

00:42:28
Speaker 3: You got any pep? She she could be silence, Yeah, Coop, you got any pep? Peeves?

00:42:38
Speaker 2: No, not off the top of my head.

00:42:40
Speaker 4: Come on, man.

00:42:41
Speaker 2: Actually, when everyone's telling their good super Bowl memories and trip memories and I just have to sit there because I wasn't on it.

00:42:48
Speaker 1: I have one, but it's recency bias.

00:42:51
Speaker 2: Drop it.

00:42:52
Speaker 5: Yeah, go ahead, because I'm going to decide if I want to air out this douchebag and chricked fil a from earlier today. Wow to now Yeah, that was kind of like the off the glass to myself.

00:43:04
Speaker 1: My mine is like you know how like everybody here probably has their like this is my stuff. Don't touch it. I like it a specific way. Uh, oh, don't touch it?

00:43:18
Speaker 2: Is this internal?

00:43:19
Speaker 4: What do you mean in a way? It probably is internal?

00:43:23
Speaker 2: I think you're thinking of something else.

00:43:25
Speaker 1: But like just when people will go like no, people will go like get into your stuff and like completely you had it all dialed in the way you wanted it. Everything was straight like exactly how you wanted it, and people will just come in and just fuck it up for like.

00:43:44
Speaker 3: What do you mean by people?

00:43:45
Speaker 4: Is it?

00:43:46
Speaker 1: People are person someone? And then they like this could this could be?

00:43:50
Speaker 2: It's it could be, but who was it?

00:43:53
Speaker 1: I'm thinking of one specific incident, but that it has happened plenty within.

00:43:57
Speaker 2: The last forty eight hours.

00:43:59
Speaker 1: But like if if someone just moves your stuff around, it's like, dude, like one in this specific is sense, you're better than that. Two like, hey, just like don't touch my stuff.

00:44:09
Speaker 5: So I I I like, because I know what Mitch is talking about, definitely side with him. There are instances when like someone may mistakenly move some shit without knowing for sure, but for this specific thing, I understand where you're frustrated.

00:44:27
Speaker 1: It's also like like I don't know, like, did you guys have cleaning ladies growing up? It was in your house? Like I don't, like, I just remember you know you have I know this specific thing is in this specific spot at the house, and the cleaning lady comes and just cleans everything as they're supposed to do. But then you're just like, I know where, and then you can't find it, and it's.

00:44:47
Speaker 4: Like, yeah, I'll just be blaming in everyone too. Why'd you move it?

00:44:52
Speaker 1: Yeah?

00:44:53
Speaker 4: Well really, I actually probably misplaced it. You hit it from the reason I hate when people move my stuff because I also have it in a you know, a perfectly contained mess. I get upset because it's They're just kind of holding a mirror up to me where I like, I know that I should be better and my stuff should be more organized. And now I'm mad at them for bringing that to light.

00:45:12
Speaker 1: But like for you, like that's deep, but for you, like your your your desk may be a little bit messy, but I guarantee you know exactly where everything is right right right, And as long as you know where everything is, I don't see personally, I don't see an issue with it.

00:45:27
Speaker 2: What can I add on to that?

00:45:28
Speaker 4: Real? Quick?

00:45:28
Speaker 2: Go ahead, speaking of messy desk, let's go. I can't believe this pet peeve hasn't been said, and I'm not my hands aren't completely clean because at some point it just overwhelms me and I just let it happen. My pet peeve, my biggest pet peeve at work, his people just leaving ship on my desk. Now, it did win me an award like I got, you won Best Desk for it, but.

00:45:52
Speaker 5: It's kind of their community award.

00:45:55
Speaker 2: There's something new there every day, something new there.

00:45:58
Speaker 3: Every day. You're a highway of busting.

00:46:01
Speaker 5: I actually love where your desk is everyone, but it also is kind of in a bat spot.

00:46:07
Speaker 4: It's next to year.

00:46:08
Speaker 2: Everyone else loves where it is. It's their cup holder.

00:46:11
Speaker 1: Yeah, you're also if I said my water bottle hasn't ended up on there once or twice.

00:46:15
Speaker 2: At one point I was collecting all the water bottles and I was rounding them up, and one day I was just going to show everyone.

00:46:19
Speaker 4: Hey, you should start labeling. You should startling, start labeling the things people leave. So Taylor's a water bottle, just put t l on it.

00:46:25
Speaker 2: You know, the worst part is it'll happen when I'm not there, like when I got like so, I just don't know. So I can't even point a finger. Except for Will left his forum on mud. I think it's still down there. That one was definitely Will.

00:46:37
Speaker 4: This morning, we'll set a cam up.

00:46:39
Speaker 2: You should want to.

00:46:39
Speaker 5: Start putting it like next to his backpack.

00:46:44
Speaker 2: If you start skiming, I need to start scheming.

00:46:46
Speaker 1: But yeah, that's my pet, peeves. When people touch your ship and just like.

00:46:50
Speaker 4: So, who was Is it a male or female? It can be both, that's true.

00:46:58
Speaker 2: Wait wait at the same time, fluid.

00:46:59
Speaker 4: It can be like there's been many instances, right, But it's not an isolated incident, no, but it is recency bias.

00:47:06
Speaker 1: Yes, loved it.

00:47:08
Speaker 5: And directed towards a specific person.

00:47:12
Speaker 1: Foul, Yeah, foul always touches me.

00:47:15
Speaker 5: I was gonna go off about this dude from Chick fil A, but I'm not gonna let him win nice more than he already has growth. But my pet peeve, and this is a new one for me living in an apartment, but it is elevator etiquette. If I am on the elevator and the door opens, usually the person on the elevator gets off before the people get on the elevator.

00:47:39
Speaker 2: Correct.

00:47:40
Speaker 5: Yeah, yes, there are a handful of people in my building that don't understand that, and they are close to just getting the check in the freaking shoulder because I'm like dog, I can't get out of your way if you don't let me off the elevator.

00:47:55
Speaker 2: And they get mad at you for getting the way, like they.

00:47:57
Speaker 5: Just have attitude sometimes where I go, excuse me, my fault.

00:48:00
Speaker 2: The little attitude.

00:48:01
Speaker 1: Definitely definitely get a little bit loud.

00:48:06
Speaker 5: I'll throw a uh hey, that's on me.

00:48:12
Speaker 3: I'll get out, let me get out your way or passive aggressive elevator.

00:48:17
Speaker 5: It makes me so mad because it's like the easiest thing, Like I don't know, those kind of things just pissed me off. It's like holding the door for people, Like those types of things are just pissed me off. Or it's like if you're just a normal person with a brain, you're gonna understand how that operation works. Like if I hold the door for you and you look at me like I have fucking foreheads, I probably won't hold it for you next time. But the elevator etiquette pisses me off.

00:48:43
Speaker 1: I will find you and I will get there.

00:48:45
Speaker 2: They're like, I find it's not gonna be hard.

00:48:47
Speaker 4: Six floors I do.

00:48:48
Speaker 1: I do this skis like sometimes I get in my head about it. But like when you if you get on the elevator and you're on there first and somebody else gets on, and like when you guys are going I'm both to the same floor. You're going to flow one and like doors open, who gets off first?

00:49:05
Speaker 5: I regardless if I'm on first, on second, I always am gonna be the person that like puts my hand out there and lets the person go.

00:49:13
Speaker 1: I I in my head, I'm like, I.

00:49:15
Speaker 3: Should always strive to be the last person leaving an elevator.

00:49:18
Speaker 1: Yeah, I just that's what I try to let the person like if whenever, just let them get off first. But then you just kind of feel weird because you're standing there for like a half a second. It's like, go.

00:49:28
Speaker 5: I don't like when that's what That's why I just speak up, like when we land that the door starts with my head, y'all go ahead.

00:49:33
Speaker 2: I don't like when people are standing like right next to the door and they like they they try to like let you get off.

00:49:38
Speaker 1: I'm like, just go, just go, like you're there.

00:49:40
Speaker 2: Right next to the door, your door.

00:49:42
Speaker 5: One thing I have noticed though, is I because it is a new thing for me living in the apartment, I know like three people in my building. But that's purely because I just am not introducing myself. But I know about every dog in the building because when we get a the elevators. I'll talk to every dog and I'm always like, oh, what's their name? Not once have I've been like what's your name? Yeah, that's well, and it's one of those. At first, I was like, I could stand on here and not say anything, or I can at least interact with the dog.

00:50:17
Speaker 2: That's a safe play.

00:50:18
Speaker 5: Everyone loves dogs. Now I'm like, I really should know what Misty's parents name is.

00:50:25
Speaker 3: As a dog owner, though, and being asked what is my pet's name, I've never once had an issue with that. I could see myself feeling a little peculiar if someone's like, oh, what's your name?

00:50:36
Speaker 1: Too?

00:50:37
Speaker 5: Well, I think it's it's uh because we live in the same building. Yeah, the close community based where it should be, like, I'm Garrett by the way the elevator, you're Misty's dad.

00:50:50
Speaker 1: That's probably how you should go about it, like oh, what's your name? Like, oh, I'm yeah, what's what's her name? Oh I'm Gary by the way, talk pet, what's your cute dad's name?

00:51:03
Speaker 5: Hey, so what what room do y'all live in? But yeah, I have noticed because it is new for me. The elevator thing is I just I feel bad about like people that have dogs that live in apartments. That one's always tough for me because I think about that in like big cities, Like that's a hard one for me. I would love to have a dog, but like it's tough. Think about the last couple of days with the ice. Okay, hey buddy, we gotta giddy up. We gotta go hit the elevator ship. I mean that what if the elevator turns off? Who was it they got locked in elevator for five hours?

00:51:37
Speaker 3: My girlfriend told me one of her friends was on her story and she had locked stuck in the elevator for five hours.

00:51:43
Speaker 4: During the like here in the storm, and I would coop, she said.

00:51:52
Speaker 5: After an hour, she posted on her story, Hey, I'm stuck in here. Thirty minutes. I'm out the top.

00:52:01
Speaker 2: I'm even sweating right now to think about it.

00:52:03
Speaker 5: Bobby said, I've seen way too much Jason Bourne to be locked in there. I'm climbing out the top.

00:52:07
Speaker 3: Bro, it's five minutes for I'm calling every person in there.

00:52:11
Speaker 5: Yeah freak, I'll put it on my story, but I have a phone to call people. Yeah, the police, police, elevator about elevator.

00:52:24
Speaker 4: You know how you're supposed to let girls off on the elevator first. That's what I was gonna say. No, now that I'm married, if I'm in the elevator full of girls, I'm getting off first. I don't want to send the wrong idea.

00:52:32
Speaker 5: That's a good call. And so it's not being on the way out. You hit the clothes button right.

00:52:36
Speaker 3: If you're the back guy, you're like, STO, that's funny.

00:52:43
Speaker 2: Last elevator.

00:52:45
Speaker 5: When you get on the elevator, or you're already on, someone gets on, or you're getting on at the same.

00:52:48
Speaker 4: Time, I press all the buttons.

00:52:50
Speaker 5: You I was gonna say, are you you asked.

00:52:53
Speaker 2: Him like what floor?

00:52:54
Speaker 4: Yeah?

00:52:55
Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, the way the way my building.

00:52:56
Speaker 5: You didn't do that the other day and I had to like reach across and the.

00:53:00
Speaker 1: Way my building works. It's like you're like, say you're on floor five. You can't hit floor six for me? Yeah, I have we have to scan to scan it. You scan, it can only hit like you can only hit number like for me, the only four that works for me is six. So I can't be like, oh, what floor and like touch it for you because you have to scan your ship the only time. It doesn't like is if you're going to one, Yeah, that's you can leave it.

00:53:24
Speaker 4: So you know he living downtown.

00:53:26
Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm downtown with it, town with it man.

00:53:30
Speaker 2: Elevators.

00:53:30
Speaker 1: Man, how long we've been going.

00:53:32
Speaker 6: We've been going probably fifty two minutes f like it always lands on fifty two, so we're.

00:53:37
Speaker 1: Always between like forty two to fifty two.

00:53:40
Speaker 4: They're pros man. We know the attention spans. Yeah, it's the same same length. That's it isn't hers episode?

00:53:47
Speaker 1: Dog, Dude, I gotta get I told Brooke, I have you started it?

00:53:50
Speaker 3: No? I got to.

00:53:51
Speaker 5: I feel like, hey, you finish to night?

00:53:53
Speaker 1: Yeah? How long is it?

00:53:54
Speaker 2: It's six episodes, thirty minutes.

00:53:56
Speaker 3: Thirty minutes piece.

00:53:58
Speaker 1: Uh.

00:53:58
Speaker 3: Shrinking just came out tonight, even Wednesday. Yeah, new season came out tonight or will be coming out tonight. I believe it's from twenty eighth. Y.

00:54:05
Speaker 4: I wish Jared was up here so you could talk about how much he hates.

00:54:08
Speaker 3: It, dude, that pissed me off yesterday. No shrinking his and hers too?

00:54:12
Speaker 4: No, no no shrinking.

00:54:12
Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, rant about shrinking yesterday as they had me to. I gotta watch.

00:54:19
Speaker 1: It's amazing Jared's show opinions or they kind of.

00:54:24
Speaker 2: Yeah, disrespected he said.

00:54:28
Speaker 5: He said the other day in the car he liked the first season and then it just got too soft.

00:54:35
Speaker 3: He said, became too hard person the same storyline, same like characters. Yeah, I'm like, well, yeah.

00:54:41
Speaker 4: I do love the strength that which Jared stands on his opinions, though I do respect that about him. Yeah, I agree with them, but it's funny.

00:54:48
Speaker 3: You're swaying his opinion right, which is impressive.

00:54:51
Speaker 5: His his Marvel one or Superhero one has broads in a blender.

00:54:57
Speaker 2: Loves Harry Potter.

00:54:58
Speaker 1: Harry Potter rip. That's real, dude.

00:55:00
Speaker 2: I'm I'm yeah, based on Harry all his reasons. Everything else is the reasons he likes Harry Potter.

00:55:08
Speaker 4: There's actually a couple of superhero trailers that just recently came out. I just saw one. One was like one of these DC ones was so garbage, and I was like, man, what I don't I really don't understand how these movies can continue to get made, like bad superhero movies. That the playbook is out.

00:55:27
Speaker 2: There, maybe we're just starting to see we're just starting to see.

00:55:30
Speaker 4: Lens I can't remember, but like Avengers doomsay. I'm sure we'll hit, but also it's gonna be weird seeing Robert.

00:55:37
Speaker 2: Downey Junior as a villain except for every Spider Man.

00:55:39
Speaker 1: Did you all see the Did you guys ever see like the New Avengers or Thunderbolts The New.

00:55:44
Speaker 4: I started it on the plane about it.

00:55:45
Speaker 2: If I didn't watch it.

00:55:46
Speaker 3: I've seen it. I actually didn't mind Thunderbolts. I like the cast. I thought it was fun. I have zero expectation now for Marble and the Fantastic univers A in but fantasticar was great.

00:55:57
Speaker 1: But I feel like ever since Stranger Things opper David Harber is he's in. I've seen him.

00:56:03
Speaker 3: They're trying to shove him down your throat like him.

00:56:06
Speaker 1: But yeah, I like him too because he was in that. Obviously he's in Stranger Things and I just watched a trailer with him and Jason Bateman. It's like, I think it's DTF Saint Louis and like David Harbor and no like actually and like like I guess David Harbor like somehow like dies and it's kind of like I guess, sort of like the murder Mystery type deal, but it's like sexual yeah, they're but like Jason, like I will watch anything with Jason Bateman.

00:56:37
Speaker 2: He the same way.

00:56:39
Speaker 4: He's a beast.

00:56:39
Speaker 1: Bro.

00:56:39
Speaker 5: I saw a trailer for something earlier.

00:56:42
Speaker 4: Chris Hemsworth and Halle Berry, the new crime movie that's coming out February thirteenth and exclusive theaters only.

00:56:47
Speaker 2: No, not that third ad.

00:56:49
Speaker 4: Yeah, they I've been getting a lot of dms like, Bro, you so you look so much like Chris Hamsworth. I thought this was you in the movie. I was like, no, man, that's just that's.

00:56:57
Speaker 2: Just no, that's just big Bro.

00:56:58
Speaker 4: That's big Bro. Looks like it's gonna be good. Though.

00:57:01
Speaker 1: We gotta get Chris hams with on the pod.

00:57:03
Speaker 3: I know.

00:57:04
Speaker 4: We're actually message him the other day, but he's in Spain, so time changed.

00:57:07
Speaker 2: Off waiting for a response.

00:57:10
Speaker 4: Dang man, he went to Ravenwood.

00:57:14
Speaker 5: All right, make sure you tune in next week.

00:57:19
Speaker 1: No, he did not, Bro.

00:57:21
Speaker 5: Seriously, though, we should wrap so we can go play our new game downstairs. It's the only thing that got me up this morning, Square with quick at sign off all time.

00:57:33
Speaker 2: That's all folks.

00:57:34
Speaker 3: Catch us next week in San France, San France, where Mitch tries nageary oh.

00:57:39
Speaker 5: Maybe we should get it and he tries it on it.

00:57:41
Speaker 3: Oh, we could do that.

00:57:43
Speaker 2: Live delay try then, but also catch us back in Nashville with a different two weeks from now. Yeah, they catches two weeks from now.

00:57:51
Speaker 3: Hey. Also, it'll be a big content week on the inside the Bus page. We're gonna be doing some fun stuff.

00:57:57
Speaker 1: We got it for those of you that watch Inside the Bus religiously. We know there's a whole bunch of you out there million give. I don't want to. I don't want to cause a rift in between the squads, but like which one you liked more?

00:58:11
Speaker 3: Oh, from here to next week?

00:58:13
Speaker 2: A team or B team?

00:58:14
Speaker 4: Yeah, there's a world like if the B team does good, there's a serious world where we would have to consider every other week we switch.

00:58:20
Speaker 1: Yeah, and you guys, let us know if you want that.

00:58:23
Speaker 2: What if we're both successful and I'm just the glue, what if you are the glue?

00:58:27
