00:00:08 Speaker 1: Hey, my loves It is Lala Kent with rand I love it. We're back at it for another week. Last week we had such a fun podcast with the Bostics, the Skinny Confidential. 00:00:22 Speaker 2: I had no idea who they were. I've heard of The Skinny Confidential, but I didn't know, like it was one person, two people, husband and wife team. Like that was so cool, so inspiring. 00:00:31 Speaker 1: So we've had like a pretty fun week. Randall just got back from Miami how to Go. 00:00:38 Speaker 2: I found a new condo for us. I'm very excited. I think it'll be in the Armani building. Shout out to Harmani. 00:00:46 Speaker 3: Oh lovely. 00:00:46 Speaker 1: I can't wait for people to know and just say Randall loves to just blast us. Oh my god, why didn't you give them the exact actuals? Maybe give them the apartment number? 00:00:57 Speaker 3: I don't know. 00:00:58 Speaker 2: So I went through and it got us the com right signing the least. But what I'm more excited about is today in twenty four hours. Yes, it's your motherfucking birthday. 00:01:10 Speaker 3: I know. 00:01:10 Speaker 2: I'm happy birthday to you. Have birthday to you, have birthday, dear La La, I have birthday to you. 00:01:16 Speaker 3: Early thirty one years old. 00:01:18 Speaker 1: I feel like it was just yesterday that I had turned twenty one and I was passed out in downtown Salt Lake City on my spiked bracelet and a cop came up to me and was like, you gotta go, girl, and I was like, I did turn twenty one. 00:01:32 Speaker 3: And I was like, that's great, gotta go. So let's talk about crazy, but. 00:01:37 Speaker 2: Let's talk about how different this birthday is. Okay, now you have a child, which is like even crazier. And so now we're going to Miami for your birthday, which. 00:01:47 Speaker 3: We like Miami. Can you tell. 00:01:51 Speaker 2: Shout out to Miami? 00:01:52 Speaker 1: No? 00:01:52 Speaker 2: But but what I'm saying is we're going on this trip with Jackson, Brittany. 00:01:55 Speaker 3: Yes, and their baby and my usbands. 00:01:58 Speaker 2: Yes, and we're having this like great little weekend. And what's cool about it is we're bringing ocean. So if you rewind the tape the last two three years, I'll go through it. Yeah, we had a birthday in Cabo, which was insane. Thirty forty people. 00:02:14 Speaker 3: Right. 00:02:14 Speaker 2: We've had birthdays in Vegas after we got engaged, we celebrated birthday in Vegas with all your friends. Insane. We've had birthdays in La insane. This is like the first kind of family birthday. So I'm really excited. 00:02:29 Speaker 3: So can we talk about this real quick. 00:02:33 Speaker 1: It was a year ago on this day that we announced we were pregnant. What Yeah, last year on my birthday, I said, I got the greatest gift. 00:02:43 Speaker 3: In the world. 00:02:44 Speaker 2: O MG, go ocean. 00:02:51 Speaker 1: Like now this podcast, we're listening to her right now. She could be cooping, but I think she might be crying. 00:02:58 Speaker 3: But don't worry. I think she's well. 00:02:59 Speaker 2: Taking Oh you mean you just didn't leave her in the room. 00:03:02 Speaker 3: No, she was well taking care of while mom and dad do the podcast. 00:03:05 Speaker 1: By the way, can I tell you something that I just realized, I, for pretty much my whole life, thought that the word infamous meant that you were super famous. I didn't realize that infamous meant that you were famous for something bad. 00:03:21 Speaker 2: Okay, that's scary. 00:03:22 Speaker 1: No, it's terrifying because I remember say, you're infamous, Well, I am infamous, that's true. But when we did the podcast with Sly, I literally said the infamous Sylvester Stallone because I thought it meant like, if you were infamous, you were like a legend. 00:03:40 Speaker 2: No, he's he's just famous as fuck. 00:03:43 Speaker 1: So now I know, okay, because I had heard it in like rap songs and I thought that they were talking about like they were just like the most famous people ever. 00:03:52 Speaker 3: And I was like, fuck, yeah infamous. 00:03:55 Speaker 1: You know. 00:03:56 Speaker 2: Yeah. No, I'm glad you figured that out today at thirty one. That's good. I just want to say that a lot of big news with Ocean this week. I think that I was, you know, it's moving so quickly now, like at first it was like Google Gaga, but now it's like things are happening right. Like I was sitting in the kitchen the other day feeding her real food, and like just two weeks ago she was sucking on your tips. So no, and not only that, I came home from Warwick, which you know, I you know, it's like it's just weird because you know, in this house there have been no infants, right, so this is the first infant in this house and we're sitting there. I walk in the door and I go to have dinner with you, and all of a sudden, at the head of the table there's a little baby chair and Ocean's sitting there. I'm like, head of a house, What the fuck just happened? She was like laying in the thing sucking on the breast and now I'm eating my pork chop and Ocean's eating her hard food. And I'm like this, this is crazy, I mean literally, And you always preach us about you know, I'm just going off a little bit, but you always preach about how like you know, you really want every second, don't And really I'm seeing because, like I'm talking it seven days ago, she wasn't sitting at the head of the table. She was in her little ah you know, so it's moving so quickly. Now. 00:05:24 Speaker 1: I know Ocean officially is eating purees like nanas and rice cereal. 00:05:31 Speaker 2: Right, but I mean it's like it just happens. 00:05:33 Speaker 3: I know, I'm seeing what the fuck this is. 00:05:36 Speaker 1: I literally lay in bed some nights and inflict pain, mental pain on myself by going back to the time that she was like you and. 00:05:47 Speaker 3: I walking into labor and delivery. Yeah, and it's like, well, she wasn't. 00:05:52 Speaker 2: Here yet, No, I mean, you're just going back to that moment. 00:05:55 Speaker 1: I go back to the time when people ask me an interview is like where'd you come up with the name? And I'm like, we came up with the name three years ago. She exists now she's in the other freaking room right now, party partying. 00:06:06 Speaker 2: I listen. I used to kind of make fun of you a little bit, to be honest, because I thought, you know, like you were holding on to time a little too tight. It was like the first week. But I think you kind of set the bar for us to kind of say it is going to go quick, because you know, time does go quick, obviously. I mean I see it with the two girls, and you've said it, but infant time right, it's lightning speed. It's good that you've said this to me so that I try to cherish the little things because because in three more months, I'm you know, she's gonna be walking around chilling. So I want to enjoy the fact that she can't go anywhere right now. 00:06:51 Speaker 1: I enjoy it because a blink of an eye and she's going to be off to the races and I will lose my mind, because I lose my mind daily. 00:06:59 Speaker 2: But yeah, on that note, I want to take a break. 00:07:02 Speaker 3: Let's take a break. 00:07:06 Speaker 1: I love the fact and I'm sure every mom loves this that like their baby knows that you're the mama. Like there was last week, Randall and I are in our bedroom after a night of dinner, right whatever, And I'm like, oh my god, my gland on the left side feels a little swollen. And for thirty minutes, Randall is telling me, oh my gosh, you have COVID. What else do you feel? Do you have body aches? Do you have chills? Are you coffee? Hold of fever? 00:07:37 Speaker 3: And I was like, I don't have any of those. 00:07:39 Speaker 2: Hold a seconds. I was concerned because COVID is real right now. 00:07:44 Speaker 3: And the lot COVID has not been real. 00:07:46 Speaker 2: No, I know, but I'm saying, it's it's funny right. 00:07:49 Speaker 3: Now, rampant and a different variant and right. 00:07:52 Speaker 2: Thank you for the I get what you mean, right, And I'm saying, so we have to be extra cautious. We have a lot of people, you know that that are helping out in. 00:08:00 Speaker 3: The right right, We're right. So I was totally. 00:08:02 Speaker 2: I was concerned. 00:08:03 Speaker 3: I get it. And you said, as you should be, And you. 00:08:05 Speaker 2: Said to me, I said, babe, here's what I think. I think I should go down and sleep in the other room and we'll wait till the morning and we'll get you tested in the morning, just for safety. Even though I know you're not out or about, but you could. 00:08:17 Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm definitely not out in about. 00:08:19 Speaker 2: But you could catch it anywhere. 00:08:20 Speaker 1: It doesn't Oh, of course, it really doesn't matter. But the point of this is I go to bed and all of the sudden I wake up it right because I'm like, I don't have it, Like my gland is swollen, but nothing else is wrong. But the questioning for thirty minutes with Randall. For some reason, I wake up at three in the morning and I'm like, oh my god, I. 00:08:38 Speaker 3: Do have body aches. I do have body chills. 00:08:41 Speaker 1: Keep in mind, due to the line of work that I am in that you're in, I am tested every seventy two hours on the dot, same time, every seventy two hours. 00:08:51 Speaker 2: Right, but you oke me up at four am until. 00:08:53 Speaker 3: Me and I told you I need you to go in the other room. I'm concerned now too. 00:08:56 Speaker 2: Okay, So now so I call the doctor at four am. 00:08:59 Speaker 3: Right, doctor comes, Doctor number one comes. I get the test back. It's negative. 00:09:04 Speaker 1: Second test comes back. That's negative too. So I did not have COVID. 00:09:08 Speaker 3: It's thank goodness. 00:09:10 Speaker 1: But the point of this is number one, the mind is a powerful thing. I literally talked myself into every symptom of COVID. I'm not even kidding you. I don't because once they came back negative, I was like, I feel great, you would have gone to work today. 00:09:23 Speaker 2: Yeah, you were like a different person, right sure. 00:09:26 Speaker 1: But the hardest part was that I obviously wasn't. It was the first morning that I didn't get to see my kid. You know, I usually every morning I wake up to my baby, and you facetimed me with her. I was sobbing and she was very fussy that morning, like crying, and every time she heard my voice she would scream, and I just thought, you know, she's teething, she's going through a rough patch. When I got my second negative COVID test and I held my baby, she completely calmed down, and I was like, she no, like she finds comfort and her mama. Of course, I know, but you when you're just with your first kid and you don't realize, you know. 00:10:05 Speaker 2: Oh yeah, yeah, I mean I get yeah, but I mean I just I mean you could see when you walk in the room how lit up she is, and how lit up she is when I walk in the room. She loves her mom and dad, very different than when like family's around. Like I noticed that like when her grandma. And this is not taking away from anywhere or our nanny. There's a lot of love. She's happy, she feels warm and saying yeah, but there's like a sparkle, like like when I came home yesterday, I could see she just wants to stare at me. 00:10:31 Speaker 1: Well, when you were gone and you would FaceTime me or even talk on the phone, she was dead stare at that phone really yeah, like she knew your voice. 00:10:40 Speaker 3: Yeah, it's so cute. 00:10:41 Speaker 2: And I think and the same like when when you were not able to be with her for the time, we were being safe and I facetimed you. You know, she was in it, you know what I mean, Like I just I listen to a mother and a father of is just that's just a bond that nobody can come between. 00:10:56 Speaker 1: I know, And I just keep realizing it more and more every day. How how much comfort she finds in her parents. 00:11:02 Speaker 2: Well, I think I think you're going to be even shocked in face two and she's like talking to you and like fall out. You know. 00:11:08 Speaker 1: I always say I can't wait for that. I can definitely wait for that, but I'm excited for that stage. 00:11:14 Speaker 3: I'm excited for all of the stages. 00:11:16 Speaker 2: Well, I think I think if anybody and I have a lot of friends, a lot of friends with kids, you know, old, young, all types of things. I'm older than you, and one thing I would say is one thing that you're doing beyond right is you're living in the moment, every moment of our baby's life. And I think I'm not discrediting my friends because a lot of them do this too. But but you don't know how in the moment people are because you don't go home with them at night. But you every second you're making counts. So I don't think you're leaving it all on the table. I think when Ocean's a year or two years or three years, I don't think you're going to have any thing that you didn't do in terms of time and love and being in the moment. I'm very proud of you that you do that. 00:12:00 Speaker 1: Well, thank you for saying that. So the my birthday palette that I've been working very hard. 00:12:05 Speaker 2: On, we're plugging. 00:12:06 Speaker 1: We're of course we're plugging. It's my freaking podcast with Randall, so yeah, I'm plugging. 00:12:11 Speaker 3: Give them Lala Beauty. 00:12:12 Speaker 1: We did give them Lala Beauty. Shoot for the birthday palate. Yes, and it was absolutely fantastic. Ocean came to work with me. 00:12:19 Speaker 2: Oh wow. 00:12:20 Speaker 3: It was the first day that she's. 00:12:23 Speaker 1: I mean, she's she's filmed, but at that stage, and she was, you know, sleeping most of the time. 00:12:28 Speaker 3: Now she's like a full person. 00:12:30 Speaker 2: Yeah, and she. 00:12:32 Speaker 3: Was so cute. 00:12:34 Speaker 2: She was having fun. 00:12:35 Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean she got a little irritated after a while, because like a baby on a photo shoot for like five hours is like, all right, we're enough already, you know, like the music, the flashing nights, I'm over it. 00:12:45 Speaker 2: But you were just happy that you had your baby with you versus s her sitting at home. 00:12:48 Speaker 1: Well, I hope that I can do that for a long time. Like I hope that whenever I go and do things like that, is she gets older that she comes. That was always my number one thing. And you know this because obviously I work, you work. We have to have childcare, so we have a phenomenal nanny that's there when you and I have to go to work. But my game plan has always been if she can come with me, you're gonna take I'm gonna take her, and then when I need to hand her off to actually go do what I need to do, then that's what I'll do. 00:13:16 Speaker 2: I love it. 00:13:17 Speaker 1: Do you think people get sick of us talking about babies? Probably you think, Yeah, I don't know. 00:13:22 Speaker 2: I don't know. 00:13:23 Speaker 3: I don't even have an identity except for ocean. 00:13:25 Speaker 2: Okay, that's a little extreme, but I liked. 00:13:28 Speaker 1: A lot of mom Like I was talking to Stossy and she was like that, she's my identity, Like I'm who am I I'm Harford's mom? 00:13:34 Speaker 3: Duh? 00:13:35 Speaker 2: Do you know what time it is? 00:13:36 Speaker 1: So? 00:13:36 Speaker 3: What time is it? 00:13:37 Speaker 2: Spill the tea segment where we go deep, we take our teapots out, we spill the tea. 00:13:45 Speaker 1: With La la, Let's spill the piping hot English breakfast. 00:13:50 Speaker 3: Right now, I. 00:13:51 Speaker 2: Would like to do a let's spill the tea round up? Okay, what happened between you and that housewife and the sea? 00:14:00 Speaker 1: You know? I give Kelly Dodd a lot of credit because she is not as predictable as I thought she was. 00:14:05 Speaker 2: Wow, what happened? Sure? Oh? 00:14:07 Speaker 3: It just did anything happen? Jess? 00:14:10 Speaker 2: See, there we go, So that tea is that tea is spilled. It's now cold and we can move on. 00:14:15 Speaker 1: The beef has been consumed it doesn't exist anymore. 00:14:18 Speaker 2: Well, there you have it, guys, on spill the tea. 00:14:21 Speaker 3: Who knows? 00:14:22 Speaker 1: She just she She announced a couple of weeks ago, maybe a month ago, that she and her man are coming out with the podcast, so that could be where her platform to like get people to listen. 00:14:34 Speaker 2: You know, Oh you mean you think the tea could be picked up off the floor put back in the part? 00:14:38 Speaker 3: You could go back, she could go back to every. 00:14:40 Speaker 2: Good you reheat the tea. 00:14:42 Speaker 3: I'm asking you can always reheat tea. 00:14:44 Speaker 2: You can even when it's spilled on the floor, because that tea seems like it's already evaporated. 00:14:51 Speaker 3: Maybe, I don't know. 00:14:52 Speaker 2: We'll see. Well, let's wish you know what, I'd like to wish her good luck on her podcast. 00:14:58 Speaker 3: I wish everyone nothing but luck on their podcast. 00:15:01 Speaker 2: Okay, now we can go to a break. 00:15:02 Speaker 3: Okay, we're back. Guess what I'm doing after this? 00:15:11 Speaker 2: What are you doing? 00:15:12 Speaker 1: I Am going to a mommy's lunch with Brittany Stasi Shina Summer Moon Cruisy in Hartford, Me and ocean. 00:15:24 Speaker 2: Wow. 00:15:25 Speaker 3: I know, wow. 00:15:27 Speaker 2: Wow. 00:15:27 Speaker 1: Is the first time that we will all be together. 00:15:31 Speaker 2: Four moms, yes, four babies. Yeah, in the same restaurant. 00:15:35 Speaker 1: And we were all texting and we're like, Okay, we want to go to the grove, right, but the place we used to go to, we're now going to. 00:15:42 Speaker 3: Have four strollers, not going to work probably. 00:15:45 Speaker 1: So we're like, I guess we do the Farmer's market because you can there's like much more room, the babies can cry if they need, you know, like all of these things that we used to think about. Can I tell you it's still a shock to me. Yeah, like being a mom because I was stuck seeing with my friend. 00:16:00 Speaker 3: Her name's Danny. We grew up in Utah together. She's in New York. 00:16:04 Speaker 1: I'm in LA and we're like constantly trying to get together, constantly trying to plan trips. And now I'm like we finally have been, like this is the date we're going. And then I'm like, wait a minute, I have a kid. Let me sort this out first. And then it's like I don't want to leave her. 00:16:22 Speaker 2: No, oh, you would take her with you. You're not leaving her anywhere. 00:16:24 Speaker 1: My mother left me I think I was I think I was like maybe six weeks old. She left me for like two weeks. It was supposed to be for a week, and she extended her vacation. 00:16:34 Speaker 3: You're joking, I swear to God. Okay, well, Lisa, and I love my mom. 00:16:39 Speaker 2: Nobody said you didn't love you. 00:16:40 Speaker 1: No, I no, but it's just crazy like my mom because I would feel guilty. I'm like, you don't feel guilty. She goes, do you remember it? You know? 00:16:48 Speaker 3: She was like, no, I don't feel guilty. 00:16:49 Speaker 1: You know. 00:16:50 Speaker 2: But we talked about that, like when you have to work, like there are going to be times like where you're gonna have to go on a work trip for two or three days because you're a boss, and that happens. 00:16:57 Speaker 1: Yeah, thank you, But two weeks is strong. She extended another week to make it two weeks. 00:17:03 Speaker 2: Was she working? 00:17:04 Speaker 3: What do you think, Randall the vacation. I think she went to Hawaii or something. 00:17:08 Speaker 2: Oh so the ocean. 00:17:10 Speaker 3: She was living her buzz life. 00:17:12 Speaker 2: Wow. Yeah, okay, I love your mom, So I'm gonna step out of this one. 00:17:16 Speaker 3: Okay. 00:17:16 Speaker 1: So speaking of leaving your kid behind, Sheena and I were tripping because we were gonna do Bravocan and we were constantly in contact, like what do we do with the breast milk? 00:17:26 Speaker 3: How do because that is like liquid gold. How do we get it back to la By then it. 00:17:29 Speaker 2: Would have been no breast. You would have been done with that part of it. 00:17:32 Speaker 3: I want to breastfeed for a year. 00:17:34 Speaker 2: Listen, it's your decision. And if you want a breast years, you can breastmant. 00:17:38 Speaker 3: For of course. 00:17:39 Speaker 1: And by the way, Ocean only gets on the boob twice a day now and for a very morning and right before bed and very short time. Right otherwise she has the food and she has the bottle. But Sena and I were worried. We're like, we're leaving our babies for four days. So for us, it was bittersweet that bravocn was canceled. We wanted to go because who doesn't want to go to Bravocon. They treat us like we're the Beatles. That that's like the place that we're like the most famous, and that's fucking fun. 00:18:06 Speaker 3: That's fun to me, all right. I like that. I like being like the Beatles. 00:18:11 Speaker 2: But you know, you can just go to top Timers, sir and have the same experience. 00:18:14 Speaker 1: Been there, done that. I wanted to be in New York at Bravocon. But then the sweet part was like, oh we don't have to worry about leaving our babies behind. 00:18:23 Speaker 3: So it all worked out. 00:18:24 Speaker 2: Right and you and you don't have to go away and be stressed. 00:18:26 Speaker 1: Yeah, So that that's what I'm doing today. 00:18:29 Speaker 2: I think that's going to be a great date for you. I think the four ladies with their babies, lunching it, power, launching it, talking about what mothers talk about with their babies and all your different kind of stories are going to be a lot of fun. 00:18:44 Speaker 3: I think I think it will be too. 00:18:46 Speaker 2: I know it's a great bonding experience for you guys. 00:18:48 Speaker 1: I know. 00:18:48 Speaker 3: Can you believe we've never done it. 00:18:50 Speaker 2: It's crazy we've all. 00:18:51 Speaker 3: Hung out individually. 00:18:52 Speaker 2: Sure, you send me a picture. 00:18:53 Speaker 1: I'll send you a picture it so I want to talk about mom. Bod's real quick and I know what you're going to say. 00:19:00 Speaker 2: That you're hot? What are you talking about? 00:19:03 Speaker 1: And everyone's bounced back looks very different. But I was at Zara the other day trying on clothes and can I tell you this is the first time in my whole life that I've actually had to try clothes on. I'm usually pretty true to size, can fill my cart up. For the most part, everything works out. I can't do that anymore, just because things are different. Parts of my body are a little bigger than they used to be, like hips, my ribcage is strange. 00:19:26 Speaker 3: I got it. 00:19:26 Speaker 1: I created a person. My bounce back was on point. I'm not complaining. 00:19:31 Speaker 2: Okay, However, what happened. 00:19:33 Speaker 3: The lighting in the Zara. 00:19:35 Speaker 2: Dressing room did not work for you. 00:19:38 Speaker 1: I looked and my skinny ass legs that had cellulite on them. 00:19:43 Speaker 2: Okay, stop, I'm stopping this. You do not have cellulite on your fucking legs. 00:19:48 Speaker 3: I do, and that's okay. 00:19:49 Speaker 1: But what I'm saying is is every I was thinking about this and every single mom it doesn't matter if someone looks at you and says you look incredible. You don't feel like your body is yours anymore. You don't want to go to the gym because you're fucking tired, or you work and on your off time you want to hang out with your kid, and things just look different. Okay, you know even though from Afar, definitely I get it. My bounce back was on point. I'm not complaining, but I have insecurities. I didn't buy anything at Zara that day because I was like, I don't feel hot, Oh my god, and. 00:20:22 Speaker 2: You not buying something is like, honestly, me. 00:20:25 Speaker 1: Not eating It's the same me not buying something that's on sale at Zara. 00:20:29 Speaker 2: It's like me not eating an ice cream cone or whatever, or a chicken sandwich. 00:20:34 Speaker 1: So now it just like it put things into perspective when I've had certain friends that have had babies or people on the Gram who are like, how did you get your confidence back? And I've never understood because I'm like, I'm looking at your photos. I'm looking at you. You look incredible period, not you look incredible for just having a baby. You look incredible period. But it's your mental state. 00:20:57 Speaker 2: Well I think that people. I think obviously you were very lucky, because everybody has a different bounce back, and some people it takes longer, some people it takes less. It's all different. But at the end of the day, having a baby is a is an incredible feat. So you know, I don't care what a woman looks like or what she wants to look like after she has a baby, because to me, any woman that has a baby is beautiful period the day after that. But it's true because first of all, there's no man that can carry a child for ten months ago through it. Y' no, no, we couldn't handle it. 00:21:33 Speaker 3: You don't even get it, by the way, in the last. 00:21:35 Speaker 2: Month, when you're when you're when you're like I barely can sleep because you can't move left or right. I mean, I don't know how I give. I give women all the props in the world, but what I want to say is this, you look stunning. I've told you this, but I think the way you phrased it today versus how you fraided it for me because I'm always like, you cannot complain about how you look because I think you look stunning now. I also I'm biased because I don't think of you anything about that. But I think the way you said it to me today, and I think to men listening to this podcast, I think it's different. I think you said something very different that kind of got my attention, which was even though people might say you look beautiful, or or your body bounce back so quickly, or whatever they're saying to you, I don't know, inside you still have a lot of insecurities about things that you don't feel as beautiful as maybe you felt before. So that is probably a really big challenge for any woman you know going through a post pregnancy, And I think that makes a lot of sense to me. Now, me saying because I would get annoyed. I'd say, babe, you look stunning, what are you talking about? And then you like Kiah, But I don't feel it or I don't doete it up. But I think it makes more sense. You're saying, well, my body isn't exactly the way I knew it, so I'm still have a lot of, you know, insecurities. And then I think that that's okay. I think the more you talk about that stuff, the more, at least the more I understand it. You know what I mean, because for me, you look perfect, but you know, I don't ever look at you different. But I think I understand what you're saying this today. 00:23:05 Speaker 1: I know, well, when you hear women who look incredible complaining about there, you know, I've seen it on Instagram. People are like, I just don't feel like myself and you're looking at them and you're like, your hottest fuck please shut up. 00:23:14 Speaker 3: It GE's annoying. 00:23:15 Speaker 2: But maybe people say that, but people say. 00:23:17 Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying, But it's a real thing. Your your mental state is just different, right, And. 00:23:23 Speaker 2: I think that that is something that I think we don't see always through social media. I think people aren't as raw as you are, like saying, just because physically, maybe I look perfect in my bounce back, I'm saying, and maybe to some people might say that to you, I think that there's also in a mental catchup and you're not feeling that right now. And you went into Zara and you walked out because you didn't know what I'm saying. You didn't feel, you didn't feel beautiful, or you didn't feel you just didn't feel it. No. 00:23:55 Speaker 1: I looked at my mom and I said, I need a Wetzel's Pretzel and a. 00:23:58 Speaker 3: Fucking coke cry. That's what I need in order. 00:24:02 Speaker 1: For me to not use my shit. I need a motherfucking Wetzel's Pretzel. 00:24:07 Speaker 2: And by the way, I think all women, you know, whatever their body might look like, are stunning people after giving after giving birth to a child, I think any woman, and I'm saying it in my opinion, my opinion, it's my humble opinion, should not have to ever justify their physical being after giving birth because they're now raising a newborn, feeding a newborn every minute. And and by the way, to me, they're superheroes because to be able to do what you women do in raising our children the way. You know, we can't give them milk, we can't give them our nipple. You know, we can't do the things you do. And that's that's been that makes you guys superheroes. 00:24:53 Speaker 3: So we are superheroes. You are my ocean's godmother. 00:24:57 Speaker 1: My best friend Olivia from that has four children, god, no help at all, still gets her ass to the gym and at five in the morning takes. 00:25:10 Speaker 3: Their kids to school. I mean, she is a superhero. So with that being said, I want to tell. 00:25:16 Speaker 2: You one, I'm very proud of you, and I'm all very proud of all of the women. 00:25:20 Speaker 3: Out there who this it's more of a venting podcast today. 00:25:23 Speaker 2: Yeah, I like it too. Well, it's preventing. Can I just have a one minute vent? 00:25:27 Speaker 3: Totally? Do it. 00:25:27 Speaker 2: Mine's a little different. Mine's about my flight home yesterday. 00:25:31 Speaker 1: Oh God, do we have to talk about the fact you didn't have Wi Fi on the plane? And you almostlash your mind? 00:25:35 Speaker 2: No, but I'm bigger. 00:25:36 Speaker 3: They're good for you. 00:25:37 Speaker 2: But I think that people don't realize. I think everybody's laughing at me saying this, but I just want to say this, when you travel as much as I do for work part of your day, when you book a flight in the middle of the week for me and listen, I know it's a it's a bougie thing to say, but the truth is this, there are deals sometimes that are going on that are very time sensitive for me, and so I'll book a flight in the middle of the day because I know I can work the whole flight with emails and stuff. And I got on the plane and I was on a time sensitive deadline, true story, and there was a hurricane. There was a lot of weather, okay, and I was very nervous. I'm a bad flyer. And and by the way, my prayers go out to all all of the victims and people that are being affected and being affected by the hurricane that just hit Louisiana again six It was sixteen days after Andrews. So like it's just that's a horrible, horrible strategy. So my thoughts and prayers go out to everybody that's being affected. I just want to say, though I got on the plane and the wife I didn't work. 00:26:39 Speaker 1: And I haven't been and you have to know Randall has a lot of things that he needs to find out if Kylie Jenner is pregnant or not. 00:26:47 Speaker 3: That is that's why he needed his wife. 00:26:50 Speaker 2: That's not true. But okay, I might be checking. I've checked the gram a few times. 00:26:54 Speaker 3: He fills me in on pulp culture. 00:26:55 Speaker 2: But listen. But the thing is, I'm just saying it's the it's more of an experience, not really plane. I have not been on an airplane for five and a half almost six hours without any internet. And we took off and there was no movies, no nothing. So we took off and they told us the Wi Fi wasn't working. People around me looked like they were yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. And I just sat there. And here's the other thing. When you're in a bad flyer. 00:27:20 Speaker 3: This is what is all you boogie first class ters no Wi Fi? 00:27:24 Speaker 2: They didn't have it in coach. I would have sat in the last row. But listen, all I'm saying is here here's the part that's the worst. I'm a bad flyer. So I tracked the turbulence and I tracked our flight path and it's like gives me peace, like to know where we are, where the turbulence where the weather is. So for the first time in like years, I didn't know where we were, we were flying, what was going on. And I had to sit there and just look out the window literally for five and a half hours. And everybody on that plane had their shades down. Yeah, and I had all three of my shades up. 00:27:54 Speaker 3: With your compass on and yes, because. 00:27:56 Speaker 2: You can use your compass on your phone. 00:27:58 Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm so done. 00:27:59 Speaker 2: No, listen, you could use your compass on your phone. And I know we're supposed to be heading west, so we're heading northwest. All of a sudden, we're going southwest, so I know there's weather, so I'm freaking out. Then we turned back west, so yeah, I was monitoring the flight the entire way. 00:28:11 Speaker 3: IVY. 00:28:14 Speaker 1: I want to remind you guys, if you have questions, comments, concerns for the give them all with Randall Podcast. You can call us at one eight six six La La Pod. You want to give us our first voicemail rand. 00:28:25 Speaker 4: Yeah, Hello, Lala and Randall. I'm sending you love from this funny, hot, scorching Arizona. I just wanted this very I love you both. I love your dynamic. When I am working hard on my small business. I just have your podcast paying and then just laugh and it makes time go quicker. So I cann't thank you both. My question is, do you ever like make a gesture at one another or make faces and get mad at one another that we can't hear. Because I just think if I was on a podcast, is my significant other, I would make like mad faces or shut up faces or shock faces, or I don't know, just have like a silent language with my partner. So I was just wondering if you two do the same thing. I love you, Go bye. 00:29:16 Speaker 1: So actually exciting news in the podcast studio, we are having cameras installed so people will be able to actually. 00:29:24 Speaker 3: Watch the podcast's scary. It's scary, scary, it's terrifying. 00:29:31 Speaker 1: And when that was suggested to us, I wanted to fall into the best. 00:29:35 Speaker 2: I'm so excited that's going to be. So there's going to be more fiat theater and drama from you watching our podcast and listening to our. 00:29:43 Speaker 1: Podcasts if you were, if you were to actually watch, there's a lot of times where I look at Randall and gesture to my throat to remind him, please don't clear your throat. On the mic, there's a lot of like main mugging. 00:29:54 Speaker 2: No. The answer, the answer is very simple. Yes, she fucked and looks at me like she wants to, you know, assassinate me. She looks at me like she's pissed. She looks at me like, why the fuck would you say that? 00:30:10 Speaker 3: Do I ever look at you loving me on the podcast? 00:30:12 Speaker 2: Not much? 00:30:13 Speaker 3: Wow, that's so rude of me. 00:30:16 Speaker 2: No, I'm kidding. I'm kidding. You look at me all the time with love, But I'm saying there are moments where, of course you look at me with love. I think we both look at each other with lots of love, and I think there's little moments where we kind of check each other. There's moments where I've said to you, Han, really and then you look at me and like okay. But I think you'll see some of that when when we start showing the video. 00:30:35 Speaker 3: I think that'll be fun. 00:30:36 Speaker 2: That's a great question though, I love that question. The answer is, yes, we have a very shorthand with each other where she can just kind of turn and look straight at me and I know she's like, we didn't need to say that, or or vice versa. She knows that I'm not happy with something she might have said, but for the most part, the truth is, I would say ninety five percent of what we say. You hear, we don't. 00:30:57 Speaker 3: Really our facial expressions. 00:30:59 Speaker 2: You mean yeah, but I mean even what we're saying on the mic, like we're not really edited. We kind of just let it roll. We just kind of garry so we are. 00:31:07 Speaker 1: So we want to thank you guys for listening to another episode of Give Them Laala with Randall. Remember it's my freaking birthday tomorrow and I have the birthday palette coming out, so get yours. 00:31:18 Speaker 3: I give them Lala dot Com. 00:31:21 Speaker 2: I'm going to leave us with a famous song called Happy Birthday. Happy birthday to you, Happy birthday to you, Happy Birthday, dear La La, Happy birthday to you. Everybody give Laala lot to love tomorrow. It's her birthday, Thursday, September second. We are grateful for you, Lala, to have you in our life, Ocean. I could not live without you. 00:31:46 Speaker 1: Thank you, I appreciate it, and thank you guys for listening.
