Season 2 | Preview Adam: [00:00:00] Welcome back to the Yarn Library podcast with me, Adam Cleevely Georgia: and me, Georgia Denham at Tulipurl on Instagram. Adam: I'm sorry to disappoint you if you were expecting a whole brand new episode right now, but I absolutely guarantee you that the next one is very much on the way. Georgia: Yeah, 'cause it's already recorded and edited. Oh. Adam: Georgia has been working her magic. We're using new software, new technology technology Georgia: that I didn't even need to really work my magic because it was all just... accessible and worked, you know... Adam: [00:00:30] exactly how it should work. Georgia: exactly. Adam: But this is super exciting because, uh, I get a lot of questions about like, is the podcast coming back? We know, we talked to you about Game of Wool, all the rest of it. Uh, we are not going to talk about Game of Wool ever again. Um, that's... (both laugh) Georgia: Uh I don't wanna say ever again. Like it might come up in passing, but as in... that sounds shady. No, I just mean like. Well, you just mean I, I dunno what you mean, 'cause you need to speak for yourself, Adam. Carry on please, sorry. Adam: Thanks for the reminder. Thanks for reminding me to think for myself. Um, yeah, so we are gonna talk about all [00:01:00] sorts of things in craft and I'm very excited. I mean, we've, we've already recorded a few episodes. Georgia: Yeah Adam: So it's already in the bank but I wanted to let you know that those episodes are coming to you within the next couple of weeks Georgia: Yes. There's that statistic or something, the common phrase that like, "oh, podcasts don't get past their, like, first ten episodes" and I'm very aware that we've got our first ten episodes out and then we just died. So... well no, we didn't die... Adam: We haven't... what are you talking about? Georgia: Well, no, actually it was just, it was very intentional and we said we're taking a break for January. We'll be back in February and here we are. Adam: [00:01:30] And for season two. Georgia: The first season... (yeah) we were doing the twice weekly thing and we had one episode that was like, "let's talk about something to do with craft". If you kind of think of the vibe of those earlier episodes, that's kind of what we're going for in the sense that we're talking about different topics, different subjects. Also planning on throwing in some, uh, maybe not this season, but maybe interviews in the future. Adam: I've, I've, I'm super excited by the interviews that I've got lined up. Um, there are, I mean, there, there are people who have agreed to talk on this [00:02:00] program who are... I really, really, I, I love having a chat with them anyway, and I'm super excited to just get an hour talking to them. But I think you are gonna find them fascinating well. So, um, that's very exciting. Georgia: Yeah, so you're gonna hear origin stories, uh, as far as knitting is concerned. That's one thing we're talking about. We just uh, recorded an episode about friends. Friends. Oh friend. Adam: And then we're gonna talk about mistakes (yeah) which Freud had absolutely nothing do with the Georgia: maybe our friendship a mistake. Um, Adam: The connection of those two episodes. Georgia: What are you saying, Adam? We're [00:02:30] also getting to do a little bit of pre-planning reading. So I, I got my references. Adam: Georgia's managed to do her pre-planning reading Georgia: Well... Adam: My vibe is more chaotic. Georgia: Different perspectives. That's, that's the point. Have you ever listened to like The Rest is Politics? (hmm-mm) . I feel like that vibe of the different sides of the political spectrum. We're like, almost like the knitting equivalent of that, 'cause people said that they like us arguing. Adam: Well, I mean, uh, if you like us arguing, you're gonna love season two. Georgia: Oh yeah.[00:03:00] Adam: Anyway, I'm very excited that, uh, it's just a week or two until you get to hear the first episode. Uh, and we will be back with you very soon. Thank you for listening to this preview. Georgia: Ba-Bye. ___ Outro Georgia: You've been listening to Yarn Library Podcast with Adam Cleevely at CleevelyKnits and me, Georgia Denham at Tulipurl.
