Speaker 1: Reality with the King is hosted by me, Carlos King. I'm an executive producer who have produced some of your favorite shows from the Real Housewives in Atlanta, New Jersey and my own creation, the Love and Marriage Franchise cam Bell Collective. Every episode, we recap reality television from the Real Housewives franchise to The Bachelor or Selling Sunset, in addition to celebrity guests, whether in the unscripted space or scripted as well. Hey, Rain, draw from today's episode of Reality with the King. We are recapping part two of The Valley Reunion and I am back with my amazing assistant, Livedy.

00:00:49
Speaker 2: Gang. Thank you for having me back. I'm excited. The first one was fun and I'm excited to dive into episode two of the reunion of The Valley.

00:00:58
Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, Yeah, yeah, Lizzy, this was a very entertaining reunion. The Valley really is one of those shows, Lizzie, where I can't keep my eyes off of it. It's like a train wreck. It's sort of like the train wreck of seeing Pamela Anderson.

00:01:17
Speaker 3: Day are you where? What's happening to say? Liam Ne said, being a couple.

00:01:28
Speaker 2: I am invested in it. I'm invested in too. Am ashamed to say that I have not watched her documentary that came out, and so I did us to the people the other day. I was like, does she not wear makeup? Sure enough? No, But I think she's beautiful, I mean gorgeous beautiful. I think it's so interesting to see pictures of her back in the day, who she dated, who she was, and then seeing her like in Puppy Loves Watch What Happens Live, it was so refreshing.

00:01:58
Speaker 3: Yeah.

00:01:58
Speaker 1: No, first of all, she's gorgeous about makeup, and I watched the I'm obsessed with her, and so it's honest. Apparently I watched her documentary on Netflix a couple of years ago, and that's when I instantly was like, oh, she is something. So look when I say trained wreck range John's I domin like it's a bad thing. I mean, it's like it's something shocking, it's unexpected, and I just can't keep my eyes off of it. But they look to be madly in love. So there were love to each other than Jackson Brittany. I can tell you that.

00:02:31
Speaker 2: Good transition there. But you know what is so great to me about this show is how much these cast members actually want to be there. I mean from the conversations like on off camera to even bringing up like, hey, you didn't really like your edit last year, the storylines. I mean, they really want to be a part of this show, which you know does have us glued to it, and you can't look away because they are living their their real lives for black and better words, but like, they really want to be on the show. They really want to fight with each other, they really want to find some juice and dig it up, you know, and I think that that's something that makes a good reality TV show.

00:03:12
Speaker 1: No. One thousand percent, one thousand percent Listen, they're all invested in the show. And we just got to begin with Jacks because I'm going somewhere with that statement you made, Lizzie. When it comes to them loving the show, it's sad, although.

00:03:27
Speaker 3: To me it's the right thing to do for him to be off the show.

00:03:30
Speaker 1: But it's said that when it comes to Jacks, you could tell this was his second win at reality television, you know, getting fired from Vanda Pump Rules and now stepping away. In ear quotes from the Valley, you could tell that somebody was in Jackson's ear prior to this reunion about apologizing, and I have to you know, agree with Brittney.

00:03:56
Speaker 3: I also thought it was.

00:03:58
Speaker 1: Performative to get your thoughts on that. But first, let's talk about the fact that Jack's has been diagnosed bipolar. He hasn't been taking his medication. Brittany said. He has made multiple excuses for his behavior due to him not taking his medication, and that was something that really drove her in terms of.

00:04:24
Speaker 3: Leaving the relationship.

00:04:26
Speaker 1: When it comes to Jack's situation, did you also feel like throughout this reunion parts one and two he was really going into it trying to redeem himself.

00:04:40
Speaker 2: Oh? Absolutely, I mean you could see that from a million feet away. You know, Brittany brought up you didn't fight for me. Unfortunately, the reunion is not the place to fight. You've already lost her, you know, fighting in to me. What she means was, you didn't go get the help, you did take your medication, you didn't show up for me as my husband, and you really didn't show up very great as a father either. And I hate to say that, you know, and he didn't fight for her. This was his last chance. Also, let me tell you, CHROs, we would have never gotten an episode like this if it weren't for a reunion, because no one can hold him accountable. Like we saw the guys try to do it, we saw him try to do it with Britney too, but then he turned around and gas lit her. So unfortunately we would we never would hear these things until a reunion. And that also means it's too late.

00:05:37
Speaker 3: Oh, it is certainly too late.

00:05:39
Speaker 1: Look, it was painfully obvious that he was trying to save up his job. And what is so sad about the tight situation is, Look, I don't want to ever see anybody, you know, being a destitute situation When it comes to Jack's, my belief is the fact that he can't handle fame. He can't handle it, you know, I definitely think in my opinion, right, I think fame brings out the.

00:06:08
Speaker 3: Demons that he's trying to work through.

00:06:12
Speaker 1: And again, I'm not sure what happened to him after you know Vada Pum Rules, what that break was like for him, Lizzie, Am I wrong? He wasn't in the news, right, he was no Like the moment Jacks was away from Bad the Pump Rules, we didn't hear anything from.

00:06:28
Speaker 2: Him they had a baby, they were living you know, like a life of husband and wife. They bought a house, they moved, you know. They Yeah, you're right, we didn't hear anything very negative. Now, who's to say that he wasn't going out and you know, doing whatever he does at the bars and stuff like that. But yet you're right. I mean, the platform elevates it, right, And I think that I think you just said it. You said he was trying to save his job. He wasn't trying to save his family.

00:07:01
Speaker 1: He was not trying to save his family. He was trying to save his job. That's what it was. Lizzie hit the nail on the head, Come on home, depot. That's exactly my clocket. No, that's exactly what it is. And that's the reason why because like even when Andy said I've never seen you hold you some accountaboat, Brittany's like, fuck that that's performative.

00:07:25
Speaker 3: I'll buy it.

00:07:26
Speaker 1: And for me, again, I'm not here to diagnose jacks, but I'm here to be a person who has worked with talent where it's sort of like Kim Richards, how it was said but not said that And I love Kim Richards. I know it was said and not said that. Look, there's something going on here and maybe the camera isn't the best place for healing. I'll just leave it at that. That's how I feel like with Jacks. I want Jackson in real life to get the best help he needs. I don't think the show and the fame, in my opinion, does Jack's any favors unless he's willing to do the work.

00:08:07
Speaker 3: And based on his behavior on the show.

00:08:10
Speaker 1: After leaving rehab, it was apparent and evident that he wasn't doing the work.

00:08:19
Speaker 2: Yes, absolutely, and I think that it would be different if he was absolutely needed.

00:08:24
Speaker 1: Now.

00:08:25
Speaker 2: First season, we transitioned from a few of the vander Pump casts to the Valley. I mean that's necessary, right, you know, we saw him with his family where they are now, and then really he was absent quite a bit from this past season, and it held. We talked about this last time too, you know, we it held its own. It was okay. And so I think that that's a really big just reality hit in general of like, oh that's kind of a bummer, but okay, no problem. We have Janet, we have Danny, we have Brittany, you know, and I think that performativeness was just comical.

00:09:03
Speaker 1: You know.

00:09:04
Speaker 2: I didn't believe the word that he said. I hate to kick him when he's down of you know, just not having this platform anymore. But it was it was it was filler fluff that we needed to hear because we've never heard him say yes, I did that. Yes, you know, I shouldn't have said that to Brittany. I shouldn't have treated her that way, but no one believes him. I bet he says that to her every other day on the phone. You know, she's done it before. So it was performative. That was nice. I definitely didn't think it was a waste of an episode. I wanted to hear it, but then I did feel really sad in my stomach of like, okay, but then after this, he's probably gonna call and scream at her tomorrow.

00:09:46
Speaker 3: You made it a little bid.

00:09:48
Speaker 2: You made me look like an asshole. I've done it. Everyone took your side. You didn't tell the truth like he makes her just as crazy.

00:09:55
Speaker 1: You know.

00:09:55
Speaker 2: So I know that there were faults on both sides, but yeah, performative was the exact right word.

00:10:02
Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah, And listen, kudos to Brittany for being able as a woman, a wife and a mother to clock it and then for her to really choose herself in the moment. Because even when Andy asked him, are you still in love with Britney.

00:10:21
Speaker 3: And he's like, move on, I'm like, what the angela basta?

00:10:27
Speaker 2: Yes or no? Did you like? That's all she wanted to hear. I mean she but you know, she made a really good point there too, like to to that response was it's hard to leave when you are not out of love. I had to leave. I didn't leave because I was out of love. I left because I had to, you know, and that and it does take a lot. And I also I just keep playing back, you know, anytime if she if she slips and falls back, like last week they talked about, oh well we went to see where chuck e cheese. They went somewhere, you know, and then they went to eat together. And it's like, of course, or the aquarium, of course, because that's your family, that was your husband, that was your person and the father of your child. Like it's okay if she slips back a little and was like, that was a really fun day, but you ultimately you you ruined this and that's what Zach keeps trying to say, you know, he's trying to get words in, and he's like that you ruined, that you left, that you destroyed, and that is just in Britain looked so beautiful, didn't she. I think it's she has ever looked. The yellow was gorgeous, her hair and it's okay if she has her tough days.

00:11:41
Speaker 1: Oh yeah, but no, Lizzie, is what you said. At the end of the day. She did not fall in love with him. She had to fall out of like living with him, She had to fall olive being so called dependent with him, the fact that he wasn't paying the mortgage and they put the house up while he was subtling his ire as death, like all of.

00:11:57
Speaker 3: These things that she had to do.

00:11:59
Speaker 1: I think the beauty that we all saw in Brittany at the reunion was a woman who feels maybe free, like to just free from the drama. And even when she said, yes, let's talk about my son because that makes me happy, I want to move on from Jack's that to me was definitive in the sense of like she is overhim, like she's.

00:12:23
Speaker 2: Done and as she should be. And then it probably would have embarrassed me a little to hear him say, you know, going back to trying to save his job. He said, I miss you guys. I don't get to hang out with you guys anymore. Kristin, I wasn't invited to your baby shower. First of all, what man wants to go to a baby shower? Okay? But I do know it is a fund these days my husband, not mine.

00:12:48
Speaker 3: But you know, hey, your husband didn't go to your baby shower.

00:12:54
Speaker 2: No he didn't, not no, but yes, I know a few of my guy friends were like, oh, we want to come. And then they said where is Where is he? And I was like, oh, he he's a home. His family came. How about that?

00:13:10
Speaker 1: There, he's at home and I prefer that way, thank you.

00:13:15
Speaker 2: But he needed to leave the car when we got home. Okay, but nat in itself, like he said, I want to be a part of these things. You want to go film the scenes with your friends?

00:13:27
Speaker 1: Yes, but that's the reason, Lizzie, that's the reason why go go got got shut.

00:13:33
Speaker 2: Not Hey, I want to come over and bring dinner to you and Cruz Brittany, Hey, I want to go to this baby shower. And Kristen, I could not have loved her more when she fucked up like that. She said, if you're nice to her, you can come if you treat her well. And it's like we're talking to a child here. That's what I do with my baby. If you clean up your toys, you can eat strawberries.

00:13:56
Speaker 3: Are these organic strawberries?

00:13:58
Speaker 2: And really to meet strawberries whenever he wants. Yeah, yes, but you know, like, what are we doing? If you're nice to her, you can come to my party. I just that is so he wants, he wants his job, and and I am interested. We're going to go back and look this up, Carlos. The announcement that was made. They shot this in April early April, I think you and I have to it was early. It was.

00:14:27
Speaker 1: I feel like I feel like four episodes aired when they shot this, like April.

00:14:32
Speaker 3: I think it was. It was.

00:14:33
Speaker 2: It was April, it was, And so I wonder where that, you know, where that came in to like afterwards, maybe he was let go. I don't know, but it did seem like it was his last plea right, oh.

00:14:45
Speaker 1: One thousand listen because remember, okay, you know I'm a journalist.

00:14:49
Speaker 3: Hey, Portia.

00:14:50
Speaker 1: The reunion for the Valley Season two was filmed on May second.

00:14:54
Speaker 2: Okay, which ago, why.

00:15:00
Speaker 3: Okay, let's see you know, let's let's let's let's let's do our job. Rain drops isn't happening in real time to suspense.

00:15:08
Speaker 1: This is crazy, this is reality with the King, and I'm Carlos King.

00:15:15
Speaker 3: Let's get back into the show. Okay.

00:15:19
Speaker 1: He announced that Lizzie hold On on July sixteenth.

00:15:26
Speaker 2: Then on a podcast. Yeah, yeah, two months he tried. I got he tried.

00:15:34
Speaker 1: Oh listen, he definitely tried. And I think that they also were trying to make sure he could redeem himself. My thing is, I don't know if something occurred. I don't know they saw the episode, because look, Jackson still saying he stepped.

00:15:54
Speaker 3: Away from it. So you know, on the record, he's saying it was his decision.

00:16:00
Speaker 1: We're alleging that perhaps this could have been everyone around him saying you have to step away. Because one thing we know, like when it comes to the housewives, when they are relieve of their duties, they get they get away. It's very nice. They get to make their own announcement. You know, I'm choosing peace over.

00:16:29
Speaker 3: It's like, okay, got.

00:16:32
Speaker 2: It, I'm choosing my family, Yes, and they always have other opportunities coming up to.

00:16:38
Speaker 3: Vote that we never see. Okay, so let's move on to a little shade.

00:16:44
Speaker 1: Let's move on to uh Jesse ed Michelle who went for the juggler.

00:16:54
Speaker 3: Lizzie.

00:16:54
Speaker 1: Jesse Michelle are arguing over the accusation of Jessie saying that Michelle.

00:17:01
Speaker 3: Cheated on him.

00:17:03
Speaker 1: She admitted that she did kiss another man while she was married, and Jesse said that has always been the ultimate no no for him. Michelle said that listen, she didn't feel, you know, like she was getting anything out of the relationship, and you know she fell.

00:17:24
Speaker 3: On the arms, Lizzie of another man. Are you Michelle in this?

00:17:32
Speaker 2: Honestly, I'm not saying I don't want to see them on my TV. I'm team. I don't care they shouldn't be together they I'm honestly, I watched it like this, okay.

00:17:45
Speaker 3: Lizzie.

00:17:49
Speaker 2: Because of how poorly he treated her last season, how poorly he treated her this season. And I like Jesse. I think that he's a funny.

00:17:58
Speaker 3: Person on the podcast, right, Like.

00:18:03
Speaker 2: Yeah, so endearing too. I mean, I think we got off of that and we were like, all right, I we Jessey fans like it was, but that's what you aim to do. Anyways, you know, we let him, you let him talk and and it was such a good it was a great interview, which is why I'm like, okay to both sides, like do your thing. I I don't think I don't doubt that Jesse messed around as well, But I also just don't think he ever really liked her from from the two years that we've seen them on the screen. May I remember their opening scene, I was just like, Okay, they live in this house together. She really begged, I feel like, for his attention. And I'm not saying that that there's there's something wrong, you know, if you go outside of your marriage for anything. And so I think that her first step where she did wrong was talking to another man about her relationship. She says that she didn't until only once. But you know that that's where you let a threshold come in where it's not supposed to do. You know, you break that and you and you you start to fall out of love with the person. But I don't really know how much in love they were, Like I said, you know, I was Michelle's talked about on podcasts before about how isolating the pandemic was for them too as a couple. She was also pregnant, she just had a baby, and they just didn't really seem to be on the same page. And I think that they're both incredibly attractive people, and I think that, you know, I think that they if they weren't attracted to each other, then then they should find someone.

00:19:45
Speaker 1: Cookie two attractive people in a relationship, and if you motherfuckers aren't attracted to each other, that there's a big issue there, right.

00:19:54
Speaker 2: And they have a civil child. But he was mean to her, please, I mean, he was mean to her.

00:20:03
Speaker 1: It was what I love Jesse. I love Jesse. He was mean to her. He admitted to it. He was definitely mean to her. And listen, the pandemic sort of brought out everybody's ulnerability, right in the sense of especially if you live with your significant other.

00:20:25
Speaker 3: It was the moment of do we like each other?

00:20:28
Speaker 1: Which is why so many couples broke up in the middle of the pandemic, because they're like, we don't have any distractions to.

00:20:35
Speaker 3: Sort of keep us company.

00:20:37
Speaker 1: We have to sit in this talk to each other and deal with each other.

00:20:42
Speaker 3: And look when it comes to Michelle, I'm with you.

00:20:45
Speaker 1: I'm not excusing a married woman kissing another guy.

00:20:50
Speaker 3: But what I will say is if she this is one thing I wish could.

00:20:55
Speaker 1: Have been asked, if she let him know how she was feeling, like I do feel like you're distant.

00:21:03
Speaker 3: I do feel like you're X Y and Z I do you know what I mean? Like this?

00:21:06
Speaker 1: She let him know, and if he didn't change his behavior, then that's one thing. You know, she gave him like a hits up, like, look, I'm feeling this way, what's going on? But as obvious that Jesse is upset about it. But what was funny to me is Michelle said, oh, really, cheating is your thig? After you said you wanted to divorce, you actually started seeing a married woman.

00:21:30
Speaker 3: And I'm like, WHOA.

00:21:32
Speaker 2: Well, we all said whoe with you? Probably ten times because the pause that he took to try to think in his brain who he was, what her name?

00:21:43
Speaker 3: It begins with an A. He's like, oh my ex girlfriend.

00:21:48
Speaker 2: I said, oh my ex girlfriend, and it's like what okay, yeah, and she said yeah, who's married? And he said something about twenty five years And I was like, can you have to do with anything.

00:22:03
Speaker 3: He has been married in twenty five years, and I'm like, I'm so old.

00:22:07
Speaker 1: She right, So I don't know if that meant like technically she's still married because she never got the divorce finalized. I was, I'm assuming that's what you've been okay. So it was definitely sort of like the semantics of it all. But Lizzy, you're fuddy. He dagged when she clocked that information. That revealed it to all of us. So I'm like, look here, Jesse, you can't say cheating is your thing when you're sleeping with a married woman, but look at his offense if she is divorced, seeing it is not finalized.

00:22:48
Speaker 3: These are two strange married people.

00:22:51
Speaker 2: Now that I agree with. And that's and that's what everyone has been saying about Jackson Brittany too. You know, anytime that there was like, oh, well, yeah, we've got girls over, you're going on dates, all of the chatter on the couches on from both sides, they say, well they're separated, they're getting a divorce, like they're not together anymore. But you know, you do know, and we talked about this two weeks ago that Michelle and the Honeyman broke up. Yes, yeah, yeh, so just right after she moved in with him, or announced that she moved in with him. So I'm sure Jesse is having a field.

00:23:29
Speaker 1: Day with that, and having a field day with a lot of other suitors because wait, are.

00:23:35
Speaker 3: They of sup? Well, Lizzie, are they still married? Technically?

00:23:41
Speaker 2: I feel like they are divorced.

00:23:45
Speaker 3: Let's find out. I don't like I don't think it was finalized.

00:23:48
Speaker 4: Lizzie, they've been separated. Yeah, twenty twenty three split. Oh, which is interesting. Okay, No they're no, they're not divorced yet.

00:24:03
Speaker 3: Yeah, well there you go. It's difficult.

00:24:07
Speaker 2: Oh they said that they're nowhere close to being divorced. Also, did you hear last last week that he's representing himself? And he had the nerve to say he said, yeah, I spoke to my attorney and all the girls. So what does that mean? You spoke to yourself. That's and that was Michelle's point. She was like, this all could go much quicker if you were not representing yourself. So he said he has a friend who is an attorney. I'm sure that's going to go just swimmingly. But but they they are very much like I separated. I don't think either of them obviously we saw it with with Jesse or with Michelle and the honeyman, they would not have a problem dating other people, like yeah, yeah, yeah.

00:24:53
Speaker 4: Now.

00:24:54
Speaker 1: So to add some levity to the tension that they both had. I think is funny that Jesse had to clear up how he got money sent from the gay guy, Like why do you even.

00:25:08
Speaker 3: Break that up?

00:25:08
Speaker 1: Like, Michelle, you knew what you were doing, You knew what you did, and you knew what you were insinuating. So Jesse said, a friend of theirs, who was actually at their baby shower happens to be a gay guy, and he zelled him some money on his birthday.

00:25:28
Speaker 3: But she was like, who said it was anything.

00:25:31
Speaker 2: More totally different than what she insinuated, right, I mean she did what she insinuated at that winery, which looked hot. It looked so hot. I was like, like they just wanted. She got up and left and she screamed at him, and I was like, yeah, that seemed like something else what we heard on that reading couch. We're all like, okay, that was a birthday present your friends, Like if my friends are having a bad day, oh, venmullum, some coffee mine and it's a bunch of girls. So say what you on.

00:26:06
Speaker 1: But no, well, the best part to be listening was Zach said it wasn't me Like, let's let's get that straight. So speaking of Zach, listen, I like Zach. I think Zach is hilarious. I think he's he's an amazing character on the show. Now we do have to get into the awful thing that he did say to Janet. And look, I know that Janet, miss Jackson, if you're nasty, it's not everyone's favorite, but no woman deserves to be told the way Zach said it.

00:26:43
Speaker 3: Again, in his defense, he said he blacked out.

00:26:46
Speaker 1: He doesn't remember it, but Zach said that he wishes Janet have a miscarriage.

00:26:53
Speaker 3: He apologized for it. Look, I'll be honest with you, I'm not.

00:26:57
Speaker 1: Sure that's something that if I I was Janet, I would ever get over like I to me, to me, I think those are fighting words, and whether you were drowned blacked out, I just don't think an apology.

00:27:08
Speaker 3: Would ever live up to that.

00:27:11
Speaker 1: That that statement not being a part of my memory bank as I see this person.

00:27:17
Speaker 2: Yeah, I think that that was really stomach turning for him as well to admit that, because I was under the impression that that what they were talking about with this whole miscarriage situation was what we saw at the end of last season, which was this is no better. I would like to preface it with that with this, but I thought that it was when they were all at Jacks's Bar the season finale, and and someone and she was stressed out because she and she and Zach were fighting. Jen and Zach were fighting, and she left and one of the other girls they were talking to Zach and they said, and you know, a high, high stress environment like this, that could cause her to miss carry And he said, I don't care. That is terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible. But that's what I thought that they had been talking about. And for for him to actually say, you know, out of his mouth apparently I said that I hope that she miscarried. That is that's really sad and really painful for Janet, for Janet's husband and for everyone, but also for him to sit there and admit, you know, on the stage, I thought that the whole thing was sad and uncomfortable, and you know, there's really no other words for that it's sad and she has every right to not move forward with him, but she seemed like she was trying to.

00:28:54
Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah, lit this, she's better than me, and look.

00:28:57
Speaker 1: I'm all about forgiveness and and all of the those things. But in his defense, he did seem sincere I would like to see the work that needs to be done to repair that friendship. Look, we have seen in this reunion that when it comes to Zach, his favorite by far is Brittany. Yes, and he like like he like Britty belongs to him. He's like, Brittany's my friend, That's my girl. That's all he cares about. He's just like this is this is who I need, This is what I need. And everybody around him is trying to figure out, like, Okay, what's going on here because the dynamic between him Brittany Janet Kristen. Did you give a sense that what the girls were saying that he only wants to be friends with not only but his friendship with Brittany seems to be the one he cares about the most that his friends just with the other girls.

00:29:56
Speaker 2: Yeah, and he's nervous that his beef with Janet is going to make Brittany pull away, and he does not want that, you know, That's what he is. He is worried and he feels what she has said, that she will always take Janet's side, even though he is this hometown friend, has been her friend for a long time. And I think that he sees this like full apart of their relationship if things go too left, and they really have gone too left with Janet, you know, and that's tough to be a friend in the middle of that too. And I think that Brittany, I think, I honestly think that Brittany, in her soul, deep down, I think that she is just a really lovable, kind person. She loves her friends, and it's hard to you know, it does seem very surface with Zach at the beginning of the season, because it's like, kind of what do you what do you say after you've just said this really terrible thing to my other friend. So I think that that their relationship makes Zach nervous.

00:30:58
Speaker 1: Yeah, gread you hit thenother head there again. One thing about Janet is the fact that in this reunion Lizzie, she was being accused of being a different person on camera than she is.

00:31:14
Speaker 3: Quote unquote in real.

00:31:15
Speaker 1: Life, Christen called her out, saying, look, Jane's cool as shit.

00:31:18
Speaker 3: She's a funk girl.

00:31:20
Speaker 1: But the moment they started filming, they said, who the fuck is this woman? You know, Christen said it, even Jesse said it. Jesse said that Janet is manipulative. Do you see that as you watch the show, Lizzie, that Janet is in her villain era? Listen, what we did say is the fact that Janet is the former assistant of Camera Diaz. She's a huge fanbout somebody. But I don't know, it makes me tickle that she, like was the assistant to Camera Diaz.

00:31:58
Speaker 3: I don't know.

00:31:59
Speaker 1: I think it's everything personally. Listen, Like what was it like to her dating Benji? Like?

00:32:06
Speaker 3: Is she cool in the carriage? You know what I mean? Like you're going to be like, are you the Corriccie best friends?

00:32:11
Speaker 1: Yes?

00:32:11
Speaker 3: Why? Ha? Has she acted in twenty years?

00:32:14
Speaker 1: Like?

00:32:14
Speaker 3: I would to know so much bout camerad as, But I digress.

00:32:17
Speaker 2: That's what they're gonna say about me when I joined the Real Housewives of Atlanta, They're say was the King's former assistant?

00:32:27
Speaker 3: I was, Lizzy?

00:32:31
Speaker 1: Tell them all the great stuff that's all true. Do you think Jenna acts differently on camera? Just based on her behavior and what Krista and Jessie was saying.

00:32:45
Speaker 2: I'm going to go out on a limb and say no, because if she was this big of a fan before, she's always been in it, you know what I mean. She's always if you like this stuff, you're always a stir of the pot, you know, I mean, yeah, yeah, I think yeah, I think that it's different now that there are cameras on her. I don't think she is different.

00:33:09
Speaker 3: That's the thing.

00:33:09
Speaker 1: Look, and I also think this you and our producers, right, so we know when it comes to reality stars.

00:33:16
Speaker 3: Hey, look I'm mad at it. Just be honest.

00:33:18
Speaker 1: Here, when you are on camera filming a theme, you're getting activated, you know, like like like in normal life, you're probably speaking a different tone. You probably won't pry as much. You probably you probably won't ask a tough question. But you know, look, I have two hours. In this scene, Lizzy called out the fact that ah It's the winery was hot as shit. Nobody wants to be in the heat, not delivering a good scene. They want to go home. They want to give back to their lives.

00:33:53
Speaker 3: So I think Janet just understands the assignment. I agree with you. I think I think she understands the assignment. And I'm not mad at it.

00:34:01
Speaker 2: Oh, I think, yeah, me neither. I mean, there there has to be a villain, right that that we like the villains, and I think that she was the same way. I mean, I think when you roll with that crew anyways, you know, it's good friends with Shena blah blah. I think that she always heard all of this gossip, you know, or all of the drama going on on vandor pump rolls, and I think she was just as invested. And I think that if the cameras were on her, then I think she did.

00:34:29
Speaker 3: The same thing for sure.

00:34:33
Speaker 1: And it's funny because listen, you have to be really good at your job to come with the line calling Danny Danny darkoh I know.

00:34:43
Speaker 2: And she was like, I think that's much better than dark side Danny. Like they stop saying about.

00:34:48
Speaker 3: You, Janet, you have a fan of me, bitch. I like it. I like it. I love We're fan all my Lizzy's at the episode at all.

00:35:04
Speaker 2: It is it is, you know in this and I would like to really fast go back and say, I think it's kind of the same as whenever they said this is this is not the same friend that we had off camera. I think that correlates exactly, poor Senshamia. It's always been your safe friend. Yeah, there is just now a camera.

00:35:26
Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, no, that's the thing. That's the thing. No, that's true. But that's a really good point. That's a good point.

00:35:33
Speaker 3: You know. Look, when it.

00:35:34
Speaker 1: Comes to Danny, maybe I'm the minority or the majority.

00:35:39
Speaker 3: I'm not sure, Lizzie. I I have a soft spot for Danny.

00:35:44
Speaker 2: You don't think he didn't and you think he did something wrong. You think that he addressed it, and it's like, move on.

00:35:51
Speaker 3: I think this he gives me a very nice guy. I think.

00:35:56
Speaker 1: I think in real life, Danny is that brand you in college who was like the fun friend, right, like like who was.

00:36:06
Speaker 3: The fun friend?

00:36:06
Speaker 1: Who was the friend that's sort of like you know, you would do like, you know, the liquor games.

00:36:13
Speaker 3: With, the one that you would just go to all the parties with.

00:36:16
Speaker 1: I think Danny is like every jocks bff, you know, maybe look girls on campus.

00:36:24
Speaker 2: You know, yeah, well yeah, I mean okay, I think Nia is stunning and I think he needs to hang right on to her.

00:36:31
Speaker 1: Oh baby, Clearly, Danny, you want with nia baby because I want to see the ex girlfriend you have one?

00:36:39
Speaker 3: Clear?

00:36:39
Speaker 2: But yes, yeah, he's a he's a fun, nice guy.

00:36:43
Speaker 3: Yes, And I think when it comes to his drinking.

00:36:46
Speaker 1: I said this before, I said again, I don't think he has a drinking problem, per se, I think he I think I think he.

00:36:53
Speaker 3: Drinks and he's a bad drunk.

00:36:56
Speaker 1: I do too. I think it's a bad drunk and does a dip between him and Jack's to me, like, look, even Jack's apologizing to him, which I was like Jack's, I can't.

00:37:09
Speaker 3: This apology tour draw me off at the next stop. I'm off this train. I can't take the tour to me.

00:37:18
Speaker 1: Yes, you should apologize, I get it, but I just don't feel that it's genuine. And you could tell that Danny was looking for answers like, no, dude, tell me why you would say those things about me when I was the only one really the hazard back. I know, dude, I'm sorry, it's like, no, I want answers here. When it comes to Danny, I think unfortunately the friends around him saw somebody that, like you said, it's a bad drunk and they used it for a storyline.

00:37:46
Speaker 3: That's what I think.

00:37:47
Speaker 2: Yeah, absolutely, and I think that I think that I think the situation was uncomfortable and not okay. But I did appreciate hearing all of Jasmine's side about, you know, when she said, I just don't feel like it was given equal apology treatment and taken as seriously as it would have been if it happened to someone else in the group. And and she was very transparent when she said, and you know, her girlfriend is not a cast member on the show. I think that, well, yeah, she's not right. I mean, she's not a main titler, So I think it. I think that it would have looked different, say, if he did that to Janet, And but what's Jane's usband's name, Jen and Jennet's husband Jason. Yes, you know, because those are two people that you see constantly on the show, so you're gonna have to really say I'm sorry to both and address both. And Jasmine didn't feel like the apology was, you know, addressed as as hard and as important as it should have been to her girlfriend and now fiance either. And I agree with that, you know, I think that that's and I think that she has every right to feel that way. And also, you know, Danny's saying, well, I just didn't really think we're going to bring that up, sir. You were on a reality show, hullo, the first all cast, you brought it up because just because it didn't happen on camera doesn't mean that we're not going to talk about it, because this is the way you made her feel and it wasn't appropriate. And I think that Nia she speaks a lot for Daniel, so she likes to call him and yes, yes, oh, I'm so sorry, but I think that she is I think Danny should have handled this more himself and taken far more accountability. And you know, if you don't want to move on, that's okay, that's okay, but he can't be surprised if she doesn't want to move on, and I think that she does. And I think that we're in this world where we have to relive it and and it is what it is, and she's allowed to feel every way that she wants to, especially about not feeling the same you know way apologize to and respected as the rest of the cast, especially with her fiance who's not on camera all of the time.

00:40:12
Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah.

00:40:13
Speaker 1: Jasmine then says Lizzie that she felt Danny's apology, you know, felt like shit. A lot of people think Jasmine was overreacting when it.

00:40:24
Speaker 3: Comes to that.

00:40:25
Speaker 1: Look, I think Jasmine put her foot in her mouth. Jasmine's also printed the show. Heye, Jasmine, I think this, I think is one of those things where Danny didn't apologize. But I am of the school is you can't tell somebody how to accept someone's apology, you know.

00:40:47
Speaker 3: What I mean.

00:40:47
Speaker 1: I think I think, I think I think a lot of people apologize just to move on from it, Like like we talked about Jack's earlier.

00:40:54
Speaker 3: So although I like Danny, I do agree with Jasmon.

00:40:57
Speaker 1: I'm like, look, if she doesn't feel like since here, give her that and maybe she'll come around to it.

00:41:03
Speaker 3: That's how I feel about that situation.

00:41:04
Speaker 2: Yeah, yes, absolutely, and that and that's okay. And he probably did mean it genuinely, but he but he did it in the same way that Jacks did, just you know, an apology. Hope we can move on. I am sorry. I'm sure he was sorry, but it was a much bigger deal and and I think that he should have asked what she needed from him to.

00:41:27
Speaker 3: Move Yeah, good one. Good.

00:41:29
Speaker 2: No, it's not always about you saying I'm sorry. It's then about how how do you need us to proceed as friends? You know, if if at all I would, I would like to respect that and I want to hear from you what you need out of this because I was the one in the wrong.

00:41:45
Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, that's a good one. I agree with that. I agree with that, Lizy.

00:41:50
Speaker 1: The reunion culminated Okay when Janet missus Jackson your nasty, the villain of the Valley said that Danny has been inappropriate with women as early as a Super Bowl, which the Super Bowl airs around look, I love football.

00:42:12
Speaker 3: Around January of this year.

00:42:15
Speaker 1: The reunion was taped in May, so in Janet's mind, that's what three four months prior to the reunion taking that's recent. Talk about a bomb drop with a great cliffhanger.

00:42:32
Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, obviously we're all gonna want to know who she's talking about. It's out there. So even if even if it wasn't really much like, the damage has been done by saying it, so we all as audience are like, okay, and you had a very pregnant wife at home then.

00:42:50
Speaker 1: You know right?

00:42:52
Speaker 2: Yes, four under four baby.

00:42:57
Speaker 3: Daddy boy? What did you do?

00:43:00
Speaker 1: Oh?

00:43:00
Speaker 3: What did you do? Well? Lizzie.

00:43:02
Speaker 1: We will recap part three next week. Thank you so much for hopping on, Liddie. I know you're very busy organizing your life and mind, so I appreciate you as always.

00:43:14
Speaker 2: Thank you for having me. And next week I'm gonna leave it on a cliphanger, hopefully just as good as Janet. Yes, I want to talk about with you what is next for the Valley and a TBD cast member for next season and how I think they are maneuvering to get back on the show. So we can listen next week.

00:43:35
Speaker 1: Listen next week, great drops for part three of the Valor reunion so that Lisa can drop a bomb.
