<v Speaker 1>This is WWE Superstar Drew McIntyre, and you're listening to
<v Speaker 1>the WWE podcast.
<v Speaker 2>The.
<v Speaker 3>Show, the one that everybody wants me gott fore sixteens
<v Speaker 3>just we Your ass is my earn. You can acknowledge me.
<v Speaker 4>Hey, guys, welcome to the podcast. As we roll into
<v Speaker 4>Clash in Paris, we've only got twenty four hours until
<v Speaker 4>that happens, and I think should be the show. I mean,
<v Speaker 4>I've been really looking at the card and after seeing
<v Speaker 4>a little bit of SmackDown, I haven't seen it all yet,
<v Speaker 4>I can pretty confidently say I think this is a
<v Speaker 4>pl that's going to exceed expectations, and I think that
<v Speaker 4>it's one that could have a couple of surprise. Is
<v Speaker 4>Brock going to be there? We'll see, but certainly it's
<v Speaker 4>going to be a show that I think we're gonna
<v Speaker 4>be talking about for the weeks to come. As we
<v Speaker 4>then roll into the next ple, which is not far
<v Speaker 4>away with Russell Balooza, I believe September twentieth, so not
<v Speaker 4>far away after that. As we know, time between ples
<v Speaker 4>is some kind of vortex. It just it just vaporizes
<v Speaker 4>so quickly we turn around and here we are. So
<v Speaker 4>this is the mailbag portion of the show, though as
<v Speaker 4>we get to the second half of the show, I'll
<v Speaker 4>be recording the audio version, but also for those on Patreon,
<v Speaker 4>I will be live for you. But of course that
<v Speaker 4>this is pre recorded now, so it doesn't really matter.
<v Speaker 4>You won't hear this until I actually hit live. But
<v Speaker 4>I wanted to let those of you who are not
<v Speaker 4>patrons know that you know we are starting to do
<v Speaker 4>live shows on Patreon. They now have a in house
<v Speaker 4>live option, so that'll be kind of cool as we
<v Speaker 4>get more and more ples that WWE loves to have
<v Speaker 4>and a good time to go on Patreon, here's you
<v Speaker 4>get that live action as well as a access to
<v Speaker 4>discord and of course add free everything at patreon dot
<v Speaker 4>com slash WWE podcast. All right, so with all of
<v Speaker 4>the self promotion out of the way, let's just get
<v Speaker 4>through the emails quickly. We don't have a bunch of
<v Speaker 4>them tonight, just a few, and then we will.
<v Speaker 2>Go to.
<v Speaker 4>We'll go to the all important predictions in preview that's
<v Speaker 4>coming your way. Now, let's start with Let's start with
<v Speaker 4>good old Djcuzmo. He's back at it again, and he says,
<v Speaker 4>let me quickly get to my Clash in Paris predictions
<v Speaker 4>and zero potential spoilers. Russev versus Seamus and a Donnie
<v Speaker 4>Brook match Seamus wins. You think that Roman Reigns versus
<v Speaker 4>Bronson Reid is going to result in Bronson Reid winning.
<v Speaker 4>John Cena versus Logan Paul John Cena wins, Becky Lynch
<v Speaker 4>versus Nikki Bella and the Women's Intercontinental title match. Becky wins.
<v Speaker 4>Seth Rollins l a Knight event, JUSO and cmpunk it
<v Speaker 4>a fatal four way for the world title. Seth Rowlinds wins. Unfortunately,
<v Speaker 4>no title match opportunity for Stephanie Vercorr will be happening,
<v Speaker 4>but Adam Pierce announced a mystery opponent for vercor in
<v Speaker 4>the coming days. I think it could be a returning
<v Speaker 4>I like this one, Bianca bell Air. This is DJ
<v Speaker 4>signing off. Have a great weekend, enjoy the last weekend
<v Speaker 4>of summer and Clash in Paris.
<v Speaker 2>Thank you DJ.
<v Speaker 4>We'll get to that Joe Hendry report as always in
<v Speaker 4>just a few moments. But let's see here we also
<v Speaker 4>have Corey. Corey says I already said my predictions for Clash,
<v Speaker 4>but I didn't mention Seamus versus Rus ever, Nikki versus Becky.
<v Speaker 4>I think that Becky will retain and Seamus will win,
<v Speaker 4>and good old fashioned Donnybrook, extreme rules, no holds barred,
<v Speaker 4>street fight, hardcore, and unsanctioned all mean the same thing.
<v Speaker 4>And it's kind of weird. Yeah it does, and it's
<v Speaker 4>all a matter of marketing. But it's all the same
<v Speaker 4>in reality, which is where I like to live. All
<v Speaker 4>of those slogans, all of those labels for that match
<v Speaker 4>of essential essentially no disqualification. You could label it whatever
<v Speaker 4>you want. It's a matter of marketing. Donnybrook, Extreme rules,
<v Speaker 4>no DQ, no holds barred, falls, well, falls kind of
<v Speaker 4>anywhere actually is a little bit different. But no holds barred,
<v Speaker 4>street fight, hardcore, unsanctioned, all of them, You're right, mean
<v Speaker 4>the same exact thing. It's I mean, it is weird,
<v Speaker 4>but it kind of makes sense because it makes it
<v Speaker 4>makes a match that you just don't want to sound
<v Speaker 4>like a plane all. No, there's no DQ. You need
<v Speaker 4>to have a little bit of spice and flavor to it.
<v Speaker 4>You want to add a little bit to it. When
<v Speaker 4>when you say the match and what it is, it's
<v Speaker 4>a it's a hardcore match, it's a street fight. It
<v Speaker 4>depends on again, it depends on the actual rivalry, what's
<v Speaker 4>going on, who's fighting who and why, and then they
<v Speaker 4>label it appropriately. I think Batista would be good at commentary,
<v Speaker 4>and maybe Paul Haman too, once he's done managing people.
<v Speaker 4>Has Paul Hayman ever wrestled the match? Just wondering. I
<v Speaker 4>don't think he did. Batista, I don't know if he'd
<v Speaker 4>be good at commentary. I mean, right now, he's too busy,
<v Speaker 4>you know, playing politics and wearing pearl necklaces and effeminizing
<v Speaker 4>himself that he may not be exactly good at commentary.
<v Speaker 4>He's too busy doing those things. But I mean, honestly,
<v Speaker 4>I don't know. As far as Paul Hayman, he has
<v Speaker 4>been a commentator before. He was a commentator in WWE
<v Speaker 4>for many years. Hey, he did an excellent job with JR.
<v Speaker 4>With Taz excellent. Paul Hayman on commentary is just he's awesome.
<v Speaker 4>But Paul Hayman's talents are actually best utilized in a
<v Speaker 4>story as a manager that he's again just like here's
<v Speaker 4>the same thing of being a wrestling manager today it's
<v Speaker 4>called well, Paul Hayman called himself an advocate, then a
<v Speaker 4>wise man, now an oracle. They're all the same thing,
<v Speaker 4>just like a no DQ match. It's just a matter
<v Speaker 4>of labeling it differently. And that's you know, it depends
<v Speaker 4>again because it fits the narrative or person you're managing.
<v Speaker 4>But same thing. And if you ever went to commentary,
<v Speaker 4>I mean, yeah, I can't do anything but help the situation,
<v Speaker 4>and he is just fantastic. What are your top five
<v Speaker 4>WWE theme songs not based on nostalgia? Well, I don't
<v Speaker 4>know what you mean. You mean theme songs like wrestler
<v Speaker 4>entrances or pl E or pay per view theme songs.
<v Speaker 4>I mean I could tell you my favorite theme song
<v Speaker 4>of all time is my way WrestleMania seventeen. In terms
<v Speaker 4>of theme songs, you know, back in nineteen or two
<v Speaker 4>thousand and one, but wrestler theme song, I mean, She's
<v Speaker 4>this is gonna bore everyone to tears, but Stone Colsey
<v Speaker 4>Boston one of my favorites, if not the favorite. I mean,
<v Speaker 4>this is so boring, but it is so as far
<v Speaker 4>as today's theme song, mhm, Sammy'sane's got a hell of
<v Speaker 4>a theme song, I may I'd agree with him on
<v Speaker 4>anything other, anything other than what he does inside the ring.
<v Speaker 4>But he's got a hell of a theme song. I
<v Speaker 4>do enjoy his Roman Rains's. I actually think was better
<v Speaker 4>without it being revised when he came back last year.
<v Speaker 4>I think he should just kept it as is. I
<v Speaker 4>don't know why they revised it. It's still fine, it's
<v Speaker 4>still good, but it didn't need revising. But Roman Rains
<v Speaker 4>is really good, you know, as far as the women go.
<v Speaker 4>I mean, Becky Lynch's changed, which is good. I mean,
<v Speaker 4>let's say, I'm trying to think whose entrance theme I
<v Speaker 4>really really enjoy it now? I mean, Cody Rhodes is
<v Speaker 4>I have to be honest, Cody Rhoads. I despise his character,
<v Speaker 4>but part of the reason he's so damn over is
<v Speaker 4>because his entrance theme is just perfect for pro wrestling.
<v Speaker 4>And despite what I feel about it, Cody Roadse's pro
<v Speaker 4>wrestling character, I can objectively say that his entrance theme
<v Speaker 4>is extremely catchy and I see why people love it.
<v Speaker 4>So all right, thank you, Corey? And that does that?
<v Speaker 4>Actually do it? Dare I say, all right, let's get
<v Speaker 4>to the one, the one voicemail I think that we
<v Speaker 4>have and then we will go right to the predictions,
<v Speaker 4>which again we'll be transferring into a live stream on Patreon.
<v Speaker 4>That'll be a live stream in Patreon once we start
<v Speaker 4>the predictions, because that's how I'm gonna do it. So
<v Speaker 4>all right, look at that voicemail.
<v Speaker 2>This is DJ coolesmel Back. Add it again on your
<v Speaker 2>mail back show record to live on a Wednesday board,
<v Speaker 2>and you know what time it is. It's time to
<v Speaker 2>see his name, man, he peers. I believe in Joe Hendry.
<v Speaker 3>I believe in Joe Hendry.
<v Speaker 2>That's right, folks, Joe Hendry is his name. As I
<v Speaker 2>take it to my fifty nine episode of the Junje
<v Speaker 2>Reboard and like always come into live from an undisclosed ocation.
<v Speaker 2>Now let's take it to a TV taping of Teenage
<v Speaker 2>Personally from last week, but we did not get an
<v Speaker 2>appearance of Joe Hendry. It seems like Joe Hendry is
<v Speaker 2>on a hiatus on TNA because I guess for the
<v Speaker 2>time being, he's making his transition as he's in his
<v Speaker 2>contract year. As he's making his transition from TNA to WWE.
<v Speaker 2>He has been making some frequent appearances on NXT. But
<v Speaker 2>now let's take it to what took place at this
<v Speaker 2>past Sunday lar from Lowell, Massachusetts, as we had NXT
<v Speaker 2>heat Wave they're nxtp a League. But we also did
<v Speaker 2>not get an appearance of Joe Hendry. But speaking of
<v Speaker 2>NXT heat Wave, we did have a TNA Knockouts Championship
<v Speaker 2>match a triple threat by the way of ash By Elegance.
<v Speaker 2>We had j C. Jane of course, which is the
<v Speaker 2>Knockouts Champion NXC Superstar, and we had none other than
<v Speaker 2>Masha Slamovich as she was planning to get back her
<v Speaker 2>TNA Knockouts Championship. And we got some good news for
<v Speaker 2>TNA and that is ash By Elegance formerly known as
<v Speaker 2>Dana Brook. She is now the new TNA Knockouts Champion.
<v Speaker 2>As now the TNA Knockouts Championship is now back in
<v Speaker 2>the hands of a TNA wrestler and now it's going
<v Speaker 2>back to TNA now with the possibility that coming at
<v Speaker 2>Boundful Glory when we probably have the matchup of Trick
<v Speaker 2>Williams versus mister Mike Santana, Mike Santana might be the
<v Speaker 2>one to the throne Trick Williams to bring back the
<v Speaker 2>TNA World Championship back to TNA, just like how ash
<v Speaker 2>by elegance this past Sunday lar from Lowell, Massachusetts as
<v Speaker 2>she brought it back home with this amazing win in
<v Speaker 2>the triple threat match against Jacy Jane and Masha Slamovich.
<v Speaker 2>But getting back to Joe Hendry, there's a possibility that
<v Speaker 2>just if you just say his name, he might just
<v Speaker 2>randomly appear. Well, apparently he appeared, but not last night
<v Speaker 2>of NXT. Let me quickly take you to these three
<v Speaker 2>past events that Joe Hendry made an appearance. One of
<v Speaker 2>them was a dark match, one of them was an
<v Speaker 2>NXT live event, and one of them.
<v Speaker 4>Was a house show.
<v Speaker 2>Not Let's take it to the dark match that Joe
<v Speaker 2>Hendry was a part of, and that took place last
<v Speaker 2>week Tuesday. On August nineteenth, which was the on the
<v Speaker 2>NXT Go Home show before they had that episode, Joe
<v Speaker 2>Hendry had a dark match against Channing Lorenzo aka Stax
<v Speaker 2>and he defeated Stax. That was August nineteenth, last week Tuesday.
<v Speaker 2>Then this past Saturday, at an NXT live event live
<v Speaker 2>from Seabring, Florida, Joe Hendry, in the main event had
<v Speaker 2>a match against Channing Lorenzo aka Stax and he defeated
<v Speaker 2>Stax once again. Then, of course, this past Tuesday yesterday,
<v Speaker 2>as part of w's Road to Clash at Paris live
<v Speaker 2>from Manchester, England, Joe Hendry answered the Miss's open challenge
<v Speaker 2>to a lot of applause as everybody was cheering for
<v Speaker 2>Joe Hendry as he made a random appearance as he
<v Speaker 2>had a matchup against the Miz And of course he
<v Speaker 2>defeated the Miz. And that was live from Manchester, England.
<v Speaker 2>And once again the question remains, what other random place
<v Speaker 2>will Joe Henry randomly appear? If you just say his name,
<v Speaker 2>always remember to believe, say his name, Always remember the
<v Speaker 2>words that Joe Hendry says anytime, any place, at any show,
<v Speaker 2>and most simplely, most simporly, always remember to do this
<v Speaker 2>strong science.
<v Speaker 3>Well believe you here.
<v Speaker 2>Once again, this is your guy. DJ Coulsbo, have a
<v Speaker 2>blessed week, be kai to one of too stays in
<v Speaker 2>my friends, Believe and peace.
<v Speaker 4>Well that's the question, DJ. Someone just needs to say
<v Speaker 4>his name. How else is he supposed to appear. It's
<v Speaker 4>incumbent upon us to say his name. Otherwise he's left off,
<v Speaker 4>He's left out. It's so we're the ones responsible. Uh
<v Speaker 4>waitch Again, thank you for the update. As always, thank
<v Speaker 4>you for giving us, you know, an insight into former
<v Speaker 4>talent of WWE who are now known as whatever their
<v Speaker 4>names are. And that's good to hear. And it does
<v Speaker 4>sound like he's in a transition Joe Henry, that is.
<v Speaker 4>It sounds like he's finally in a true transition. He
<v Speaker 4>comes and faces them is obviously it wasn't televised, but
<v Speaker 4>he does what he needs to do. I think ww's
<v Speaker 4>testing the water with him, seeing if the crowd still
<v Speaker 4>is with him past Wrestlemanian, the World Rumble appearance he had,
<v Speaker 4>and it seems like they are. That's good. But yeah,
<v Speaker 4>I'd say he's finally in that transition period to come
<v Speaker 4>to the main roster and be a big player. Is
<v Speaker 4>he gonna be world champion within the next six months? No,
<v Speaker 4>I don't think so, but I think it's really good
<v Speaker 4>to depend on how the crowd continues to react to him.
<v Speaker 4>Is it going to be a constant need for him?
<v Speaker 4>Is he just a one trick wonder? Is he kind
<v Speaker 4>of like a Bobby Rude where it's just glorious and
<v Speaker 4>then there's nothing else to his act, which is all
<v Speaker 4>Bobby Rude seemed to be hopefully not but thank you, DJ,
<v Speaker 4>I appreciate it as always. Hope all is well down there.
<v Speaker 4>Hope you have a great Labor Day weekend wherever you
<v Speaker 4>may be in your undisclosed location, and everybody, enjoy your
<v Speaker 4>Labor Day weekend. I'm not signing off, but before I
<v Speaker 4>mention before I don't mention it, I wanted to say,
<v Speaker 4>to enjoy your Labor Day weekend. As summer has somehow
<v Speaker 4>come and gone already, which is just really hard to believe.
<v Speaker 4>Where I'm at, leaves are already starting to fall. Leaves
<v Speaker 4>started to fall a couple of weeks ago here. I'm
<v Speaker 4>not saying they've turned colors and stuff, and it's not
<v Speaker 4>because it's been super dry, like the leaves have started
<v Speaker 4>to fall on certain trees. It's just you know, and
<v Speaker 4>then they fall here for the next four months, Like
<v Speaker 4>I'm serious, I clean up leaves up until like the
<v Speaker 4>week before Christmas. I got damn oak trees. The oak
<v Speaker 4>trees just they take forever to bloom, but then they
<v Speaker 4>take forever to fall. I want to just it's the worst.
<v Speaker 4>So anyway, my own personal gripes that no one gives a.
<v Speaker 3>Damn about.
<v Speaker 4>Well, that will do it, I think everybody. As we
<v Speaker 4>transition to the more fun part of this, as we
<v Speaker 4>get to Clash in Paris, which comes to us tomorrow night,
<v Speaker 4>and again, as I said, I think it's gonna be
<v Speaker 4>a great show. It's coming to us from the Paris
<v Speaker 4>lad Defense Arena in Nantourette, France, boided, I probably butchered
<v Speaker 4>the hell out of that, and it's gonna be I'm
<v Speaker 4>trying to think of the time here locally, probably like
<v Speaker 4>afternoon time. But let's get to it with the predictions,
<v Speaker 4>and let's see how this whole live thing goes with Patreon.
<v Speaker 4>I'm about to click that live button, so let's see
<v Speaker 4>how that goes. We're going to click it here and
<v Speaker 4>I just did, so bear with me in the audio feed.
<v Speaker 4>Only here are we clicked that goal live button. And oh,
<v Speaker 4>it looks like we're we're often running. So we'll see
<v Speaker 4>if anybody joins. I didn't promote it at all. I
<v Speaker 4>just said that I was going to go live, so
<v Speaker 4>we'll see if anybody actually follows into the live feed.
<v Speaker 4>If not, cool, But all right, let's get to Clash
<v Speaker 4>in Paris that is coming to us again as I
<v Speaker 4>said tomorrow night, and it starts with what I want
<v Speaker 4>to start with. I don't want to start at the
<v Speaker 4>top yet. Let's let's start with Becky Lynch and Nikki
<v Speaker 4>Bella for the Women's Intercontinental Championship. And this program, to me,
<v Speaker 4>has really overachieved. This program, to me, is infinitely better
<v Speaker 4>than Lyra and Becky was not from necessarily an in
<v Speaker 4>ring perspective, because to be honest, I think Lyra and Becky,
<v Speaker 4>if you looked it at it purely from a wrestling perspective,
<v Speaker 4>I think that Lyra and Becky is probably better because
<v Speaker 4>I don't exactly put Nicki Bella at the top of
<v Speaker 4>my pro wrestling achievement list. But that said, Nikki Bella,
<v Speaker 4>for all the things that I say about her, she
<v Speaker 4>has done a very good job of with this program.
<v Speaker 4>With Becky, they have chemistry, and that's a plus that
<v Speaker 4>really can't be manufactured. Sometimes you either have it or
<v Speaker 4>you don't, and right now, Nikki Bella and Becky Lynch
<v Speaker 4>have that chemistry. So I'm looking forward to this matchup
<v Speaker 4>from the perspective of not really match quality, because I
<v Speaker 4>think it'll be fine. Nicki Bella can hold her own
<v Speaker 4>and do a standard job. Becky Lynch obviously is one
<v Speaker 4>of the top tier women's wrestlers, at least to me
<v Speaker 4>in the company. But I don't think this match is
<v Speaker 4>really going to be about the wrestling quality, as it
<v Speaker 4>is much about the story and what is this really about.
<v Speaker 4>Does Nicki Bella even have a chance? My answer is
<v Speaker 4>probably know Now, Nikki Bella was originally supposed to work
<v Speaker 4>with Live Morgan. If you remember, Live Morgan got injured
<v Speaker 4>and there's pictures of her floating around the internet. I
<v Speaker 4>know I've come across them, But for all of Liv's accomplishments,
<v Speaker 4>I don't think she had any intention of dropping the
<v Speaker 4>bell to Nikki Bella. There was just no chance. So
<v Speaker 4>I think in the same way with Nikki Bella facing
<v Speaker 4>Becky Lynch's really just no chance of Nikki winning. I
<v Speaker 4>don't think she's here for very long. She might have
<v Speaker 4>signed again, I'm not an insider. I don't have insider
<v Speaker 4>her knowledge. It's just a hunch watching wrestling for thirty
<v Speaker 4>years that it's much more of a you know, six
<v Speaker 4>to twelve maybe six to twelve month the deal with
<v Speaker 4>w And with that said, it doesn't feel like Nikki
<v Speaker 4>Bella needs to be champion. She doesn't need to be
<v Speaker 4>champion because No, Number one, I don't think anyone really
<v Speaker 4>wants her to be champion. Becky Lynch as Women's in
<v Speaker 4>her Continental champion, is doing just fine. She just wanted
<v Speaker 4>back a couple of months ago. Just it's something that
<v Speaker 4>I don't think is needed. But the question is, really, Okay,
<v Speaker 4>she loses, we know she's probably gonna lose, Nikki, what's next?
<v Speaker 4>Is this a program that's going to continue into the
<v Speaker 4>Wrestle Palooza event on September twentieth. If so, how I mean,
<v Speaker 4>I have no problem with it. Fans seem to be
<v Speaker 4>into it. This program, as I said, has over delivered
<v Speaker 4>on the mic exceedingly well, and credit to both women
<v Speaker 4>for that. So we'll see if that continues. If they've
<v Speaker 4>got some nice content on the mic to continue with,
<v Speaker 4>I'm all for it. So all righty, where else do
<v Speaker 4>we want to go here? Let's continue here with let's
<v Speaker 4>go to Roman Reigns in Bronze and Reid. This is
<v Speaker 4>an interesting match because while Roman Rains didn't get a
<v Speaker 4>one on one at SummerSlam, he's getting a one on
<v Speaker 4>one now and it couldn't be with a better guy.
<v Speaker 4>I don't think not better guy in terms of somebody
<v Speaker 4>of ability a star power, but some somebody that I
<v Speaker 4>think needs a little bit of a boost, needs a
<v Speaker 4>little bit of a boost because and I'll be answering
<v Speaker 4>chat by the way, I've seen somebody wrote in the chat.
<v Speaker 4>I'll answer that in a minute. So those of you
<v Speaker 4>who are listening to this on delay, obviously it's not
<v Speaker 4>applicable to you, but I I am reading some chat here.
<v Speaker 4>So getting back to Bronson Reid, I think you have
<v Speaker 4>a guy that is and has largely been ignored in
<v Speaker 4>the Vision group, or at least he's he's taken third
<v Speaker 4>third rank, if you will. Bronson Reid has been a
<v Speaker 4>guy that where you You look at Seth, he's the
<v Speaker 4>head of the whole thing. You know what he brings.
<v Speaker 4>You look at Brown Breaker, who has been the muscle
<v Speaker 4>of the group. He's been the focal point. He's been
<v Speaker 4>We've been told many times, it's been declared and determined
<v Speaker 4>that Broun Breaker is a future main event of WrestleMania
<v Speaker 4>Player multi event of WrestleMania Player. We've been told it's
<v Speaker 4>just a fact apparently, And I mean I could see
<v Speaker 4>that we'll see if it actually comes true. And bron
<v Speaker 4>Breaker has been spearing the you know the hell out
<v Speaker 4>of everybody in sight. But really Bronson Reid has been
<v Speaker 4>a guy that has he's taken the shoes of Roman Reigns,
<v Speaker 4>but it hasn't He hasn't really got a chance to talk.
<v Speaker 4>He hasn't had that breakout, you know performance on the
<v Speaker 4>mic like Breaker did a few weeks ago. So it's
<v Speaker 4>I think imperative that they do something with Braun Breaker
<v Speaker 4>or Bronson Reid. And now they're doing it, what better
<v Speaker 4>way to do it than with the top guy in
<v Speaker 4>your company. The question is who wins this? You can
<v Speaker 4>make a case for both. This is a difficult match
<v Speaker 4>to Hedge a bed On, really difficult because you have
<v Speaker 4>a guy that's the face of the company that still
<v Speaker 4>has years left in the body if he wants to go,
<v Speaker 4>still is in the prime, still works at a peak
<v Speaker 4>high high high level, knows who he is, still not
<v Speaker 4>an a plus on the mic, but he doesn't he
<v Speaker 4>to be anymore in Roman Reigns. And then you have
<v Speaker 4>a guy who needs this attention, who needs the rub
<v Speaker 4>of Roman Reigns, who you don't want to lose particularly
<v Speaker 4>clean to Roman Reigns, even though there's no shame in it.
<v Speaker 4>If your goal for Bronson Reid is to move forward,
<v Speaker 4>move up, and move up quickly, you kind of have
<v Speaker 4>to have him beat Roman. On the other hand, the
<v Speaker 4>logic is, well, you have Bronson win in a loss,
<v Speaker 4>and that's a lot of what pro wrestling is is
<v Speaker 4>learning how to win in a loss. And I think
<v Speaker 4>that's where Bronson Reid is probably going to live. I'm
<v Speaker 4>going to give the win to Roman, but Bronson Reid
<v Speaker 4>is going to get his heat back afterwards and destroy
<v Speaker 4>Roman Reigns after And yes, the Vision could get involved
<v Speaker 4>the vision. You can see the Vision all night for
<v Speaker 4>God's sakes. I mean, they're probably gonna interfere in at
<v Speaker 4>least two matches as we know. But to me, this
<v Speaker 4>match is going to be fun. It's going to be
<v Speaker 4>This is about Bronson Reid and Bronson Reid having the
<v Speaker 4>most important match of his entire career, where for Roman
<v Speaker 4>it's kind of just another pl no disrespect, but it
<v Speaker 4>is what it is. This is about Bronson Reid showing
<v Speaker 4>up even if he loses. Here, it's about Bronson Reid
<v Speaker 4>making sure he makes a statement as w w would
<v Speaker 4>love to say, and making sure that he even if
<v Speaker 4>he loses to Roman clean, he is remembered for what
<v Speaker 4>the match was, not the outcome. So either way, if
<v Speaker 4>I'm Bronson Reid, I'm looking at this as the biggest
<v Speaker 4>match of my career. He should treat it like that,
<v Speaker 4>and I think he will. All right, let's uh so
<v Speaker 4>we got a comment here. I wonder if NICKI had
<v Speaker 4>pumped in the crowd cheer. Yeah, I mean probably, but
<v Speaker 4>I did. I will say when I hear crowd noise
<v Speaker 4>that doesn't sound right, and going back to Nicky and
<v Speaker 4>Becky for a moment, when I hear crowd noise that
<v Speaker 4>doesn't sound right, I look at the crowd. If it
<v Speaker 4>doesn't jive with what my ears are telling me, that
<v Speaker 4>usually is a sign. Because if you're hearing cheering and
<v Speaker 4>people are sitting on their ass, pretty good sign. It's
<v Speaker 4>not real. They've done that a lot. They did a
<v Speaker 4>lot with Roman Reigns when he was the big dog.
<v Speaker 4>They did a lot with uh. I can't remember who
<v Speaker 4>it was, but they've done it over the years with
<v Speaker 4>the SmackDown. Specifically, when you hear somebody that's getting cheered
<v Speaker 4>that the company clearly wants you to cheer for and
<v Speaker 4>the audience isn't complying, well, then WW will manufacture a
<v Speaker 4>positive reaction. But then you're looking at the crowd and
<v Speaker 4>they're not They're not looking as you would expect them
<v Speaker 4>to look if they're cheering at that level. So that's
<v Speaker 4>your cue. All right, let's continue Seamus versus russe Ev
<v Speaker 4>in a good old fashioned Donnybrook match. This match again
<v Speaker 4>no DQ, call it what you want street fight. As
<v Speaker 4>we mentioned earlier in the show, well I did it
<v Speaker 4>offline for the mailbag for those of you who are
<v Speaker 4>watching me live or on Patreon that the male I
<v Speaker 4>actually did offline, just coming on for the preview and
<v Speaker 4>predictions of clash in Paris. But on the mail bag
<v Speaker 4>somebody had mentioned, Hey, you know, what's the difference between
<v Speaker 4>a Donnybrook match, a no DQ a unsanctioned hardcore extreme rules.
<v Speaker 4>The answer is nothing other than marketing, right, That's it.
<v Speaker 4>That's it. It's marketing. But it's donny Brook match and
<v Speaker 4>this should be and it is going to be apparently
<v Speaker 4>their final match. We'll see if that holds true. But
<v Speaker 4>I'm looking forward to this from just a pure perspective
<v Speaker 4>of respect, the respect between these two men that they
<v Speaker 4>have for each other, that I have for both men,
<v Speaker 4>their history of being a tag team. Remember the League
<v Speaker 4>of Nations, the beloved League of Nations that on paper
<v Speaker 4>looked great and then an execution was just oil and water.
<v Speaker 4>But I think these two I'm looking forward to just say, quality, stiff,
<v Speaker 4>just physical matchup. That's all. This is going to be about.
<v Speaker 4>Who comes out on top, probably Shamous, probably, but I
<v Speaker 4>would argue maybe Rusev should Otherwise, Why are you bringing
<v Speaker 4>him back just to lose? I mean, what have they
<v Speaker 4>done with Russev since he came back. He's barely gotten
<v Speaker 4>a chance to speak, even though the promos he does
<v Speaker 4>or five seconds long. Again, I have no problem with
<v Speaker 4>Russev per se as a character, but I don't. I
<v Speaker 4>want to be refreshed about what he's about. Since you,
<v Speaker 4>since you came back, why are you here? What have
<v Speaker 4>you learned? You know? I want to know more about
<v Speaker 4>Russev and we'll learn a lot about this match, I think,
<v Speaker 4>in the outcome of what the WWE's plans are for
<v Speaker 4>both men moving forward, not that they're going to wrestle again,
<v Speaker 4>but rather who's going to be on TV? More doing
<v Speaker 4>more important things. That's to me what this is about.
<v Speaker 4>But outside of that, just a quality physical match from
<v Speaker 4>two guys that I respect the hell out of. So,
<v Speaker 4>by the way, who do I expect to win?
<v Speaker 3>Boy?
<v Speaker 4>This is a tough one. I would also stay the
<v Speaker 4>hell away from this. If you are betting on any
<v Speaker 4>wrestling events or outcomes for tomorrow night, probably probably shamous, probably,
<v Speaker 4>but I say that very not confidently. All Right, what
<v Speaker 4>else do we got here? Let's talk Well I'm not
<v Speaker 4>gonna talk to anybody, but let's go to John Cena
<v Speaker 4>versus Logan Paul. This match, now, again I did not
<v Speaker 4>see SmackDown with Anything that happened between these two doesn't
<v Speaker 4>really matter, or it shouldn't affect the actual prediction I
<v Speaker 4>have here. This match is going to be, as the
<v Speaker 4>kids would say, hella interesting because you have John Cena
<v Speaker 4>who's a step and a half slower than he used
<v Speaker 4>to be, and he admits it. He is, and he
<v Speaker 4>knows that's why it's time to go. You have an
<v Speaker 4>up and coming talent of Logan Paul that is half
<v Speaker 4>his age, five times his ability in the ring in
<v Speaker 4>terms of athleticism, not ring psychology, anything like that. Just
<v Speaker 4>pure athleticism, and he is inarguably probably the future of
<v Speaker 4>the company, maybe a future Hall of Famer, maybe a
<v Speaker 4>future WrestleMania main event, or maybe he's on track for it.
<v Speaker 4>With the lover hate Paul Logan, Paul, he just is
<v Speaker 4>so the really the diversity and ability in the ring
<v Speaker 4>here is astounding. You have one guy that is so.
<v Speaker 4>I mean, even in Johnsen his heyday, I think his
<v Speaker 4>muscle worked against him at times because his flexibility and
<v Speaker 4>his ability in the ring was hindered by how strong
<v Speaker 4>he was and the muscle mass he had on his
<v Speaker 4>body for all the power lifting he did and all
<v Speaker 4>of the incredible feats of strength he did in the ring,
<v Speaker 4>which were really incredible, the things he's done, and nothing
<v Speaker 4>but respect. I think at times it did hinder him
<v Speaker 4>to make him look a little bit stoic in the ring.
<v Speaker 4>And now you add twenty years to that on a
<v Speaker 4>body that's already got a large amount of muscle mass,
<v Speaker 4>and you are it's a Formula four A a really
<v Speaker 4>just wide range of ability in this in the ring here.
<v Speaker 4>I don't think it's going to be a bad match.
<v Speaker 4>I know that that sounds like a setup for a
<v Speaker 4>wow Logan Paul is this style, he's you know, incredibly
<v Speaker 4>gifted in the ring. His athleticism is altherworldly of John Cena,
<v Speaker 4>who's aged on a body that has too much muscle
<v Speaker 4>for his age, and he's you know, he's he's twenty
<v Speaker 4>twenty five years older and all it looks like this
<v Speaker 4>could be a disaster. I don't think so, I really don't.
<v Speaker 4>I think this match from a quality perspective is going
<v Speaker 4>to be very good. You bring the athleticism of Logan Paul,
<v Speaker 4>who's going to do a lot of the quote unquote
<v Speaker 4>heavy lifting in this match of making John Scena look
<v Speaker 4>good with his power moves that are going to you know,
<v Speaker 4>the pacing is going to be slower, but Logan Paul
<v Speaker 4>can do his end, and you add the athleticism part.
<v Speaker 4>John Scenic can add his part of ring psychology, timing, pacing,
<v Speaker 4>you know, all that kind of stuff that he brings
<v Speaker 4>just being a ring general. I think it's actually a
<v Speaker 4>pretty good fit, despite the fact that they are pretty
<v Speaker 4>much on the opposite ends of the spectrum from one
<v Speaker 4>another in terms of style and what their ability to
<v Speaker 4>do in the ring is. Right now, so who's going
<v Speaker 4>to win another tough one, another tough one for me.
<v Speaker 4>I mean, this is really really difficult. I know for
<v Speaker 4>some people it's all slam dunk that John Cena wins
<v Speaker 4>because ah, he's leaving. But isn't that also the same
<v Speaker 4>argument you could use to say that John Sene is
<v Speaker 4>gonna lose because he's on his way out. Wouldn't you
<v Speaker 4>want one last chance to give Logan Paul a victory
<v Speaker 4>against John Cena and they'd be able to brag about it.
<v Speaker 4>To me, that's more valuable. To me, that's more valuable.
<v Speaker 4>And I think Logan Paul wins. I think Logan Paul wins,
<v Speaker 4>and I think he actually should win. Now should he
<v Speaker 4>win be because he uses his brass nuts, he uses
<v Speaker 4>his you know, his steel reinforced arm or whatever he's got,
<v Speaker 4>or is it a brock Lessner interference? I don't care.
<v Speaker 4>I actually don't care. I don't want it to be
<v Speaker 4>a quick match. This needs to be a lengthy match.
<v Speaker 4>I would want this fifteen twenty twenty. Dare I say
<v Speaker 4>twenty five minutes. It's not gonna get that. I'll probably
<v Speaker 4>get anywhere from seventeen to eighteen minutes, that's my guess.
<v Speaker 4>But I would want this to be a Logan Paul victory.
<v Speaker 4>And again, if brock Lesner interferes, it'd probably be after
<v Speaker 4>the match, and that way you could maximize what you're
<v Speaker 4>getting out of this one time only Logan Paul John
<v Speaker 4>Cena match, which let's be honest, it's a one time
<v Speaker 4>only given how many dates John has left and who
<v Speaker 4>the you know, the potential future opponents are up until
<v Speaker 4>mid December, so I think Logan Paul needs to win this,
<v Speaker 4>even if it is by hooker crook, and then you
<v Speaker 4>know have John Cena look like he's gonna get you know,
<v Speaker 4>a little bit of revenge after the match. And here
<v Speaker 4>comes brock Lesner to wrap up their next and set
<v Speaker 4>up their next match, which is likely going to be
<v Speaker 4>at Wrestle Poloza, but could be after that. It could
<v Speaker 4>be at the PLI in October. Hell, it could be
<v Speaker 4>all the way a Survivors series. The way that brock
<v Speaker 4>Lesner's schedule is appearing, I mean the next time if
<v Speaker 4>he appears. Look, if if brock Lesner appears tomorrow night,
<v Speaker 4>we won't see him again until like Halloween. So you
<v Speaker 4>might want to get the most out of brocky Ken
<v Speaker 4>given the pacing and the frequency in which Brock Lesner
<v Speaker 4>is going to appear. So who the hell knows when
<v Speaker 4>the John Cena match with Brock is going to take place.
<v Speaker 4>I would imagine wrestle Palooza, but anybody's guess. So I
<v Speaker 4>think Logan Paul needs to win this. That's just my
<v Speaker 4>take on that. Again, I would stay away from this though,
<v Speaker 4>And Steven, you're saying I was very surprised that Logan
<v Speaker 4>got one of John's final matches. Yeah, but I see
<v Speaker 4>what you mean from like a nostalgic perspective, from the
<v Speaker 4>perspective of like, hey, John Cena is leaving, why would
<v Speaker 4>you waste it on Logan Paul. But if I'm the
<v Speaker 4>company and I'm also John Cena who has a say
<v Speaker 4>in this, they're trying to build for the future. You
<v Speaker 4>want to use your current assets to help build that
<v Speaker 4>next generation and to make sure that you know you
<v Speaker 4>are investing in the future. That's what this is about.
<v Speaker 4>That is what I think should be be their focus
<v Speaker 4>right now, and that's why I think they're putting their
<v Speaker 4>stock in Logan Paul. It really does say a lot, though,
<v Speaker 4>Stephen and really everybody that's wondering why the hell, they
<v Speaker 4>waste quote unquote a match with Logan Paul when there's
<v Speaker 4>so many other legends, and you know what about Edge,
<v Speaker 4>which I still really really really really want Adam Copeland
<v Speaker 4>to somehow be able to pull off a miracle and
<v Speaker 4>make it John's final match in December. But yeah, there's
<v Speaker 4>there's some fun matchups. There's some fun nostalgic matchups. People
<v Speaker 4>are talking about The Rock and John Cena, and people
<v Speaker 4>talking about Rowan Rains and John Cena. Again, you know
<v Speaker 4>there's others. But in throwing in there through all those
<v Speaker 4>fun nostalgic rematches and big starversus Big Star, you have
<v Speaker 4>to throw in a future investment match and Logan Paul
<v Speaker 4>is that That tells you where they think Logan Paul
<v Speaker 4>could be If they're putting him in one of Johnson
<v Speaker 4>It's extremely limited dates. They also have faith that Logan
<v Speaker 4>Paul is probably going to be one of the biggest
<v Speaker 4>stars the company has in the next five years, and
<v Speaker 4>you gotta keep building that next generation. It can't just
<v Speaker 4>all be relying on you know, attitude ARA Star versus
<v Speaker 4>Attitude A star, or ruthless aggression Star versus ruthless aggression Star,
<v Speaker 4>or those are fun, and don't get me wrong, those
<v Speaker 4>are those are box office, but they don't invest in
<v Speaker 4>anything in the future. They're just much more of a
<v Speaker 4>here and now type of match, and I love them,
<v Speaker 4>I want them, but you know we need these matches
<v Speaker 4>thrown in with younger talent. So all right, let's continue.
<v Speaker 4>Not too many matches left here. I don't think we've got.
<v Speaker 4>Is this all we've got left here? Well, we've got
<v Speaker 4>the World Heavyweight Championship seth Rollins, j USO, CM Punk
<v Speaker 4>and l A Knight Boy. Oh boy. This this is
<v Speaker 4>a This is a match that I think is going
<v Speaker 4>to be a it's a car wreck. But I mean
<v Speaker 4>that when I say that, and you guys have heard
<v Speaker 4>me before, I mean that in a very positive way.
<v Speaker 4>Since there's no disqualification you can guarantee, which again is
<v Speaker 4>stupid that there's no DQ just simply by the fact
<v Speaker 4>that there's more than more than two people in a
<v Speaker 4>match is just dumb. But that aside, the vision we
<v Speaker 4>all know is going to get involved. We all know
<v Speaker 4>Bronson Reid, even after his match, will be physically able
<v Speaker 4>to help. We all know bron Breaker is going to
<v Speaker 4>have a say. We all know that Paul Hayman could
<v Speaker 4>even have some influence of distracting the referee. That all
<v Speaker 4>is very very possible and very likely. I just hope
<v Speaker 4>that's not all there is now, only get me wrong.
<v Speaker 4>Seth Rollins is winning this. You know it. I know it.
<v Speaker 4>The world knows it. Seth Rollins is going to win.
<v Speaker 4>And you know what, Seth should win. He just pulled
<v Speaker 4>off to some one of the greatest hoaxes of all
<v Speaker 4>time with his feigned injury. That again, a lot of
<v Speaker 4>us didn't believe, and I was of the belief up
<v Speaker 4>until about a week or two before, and I said something,
<v Speaker 4>main right, they're not following through. We haven't heard anything.
<v Speaker 4>They're gonna make this real. They need to. They need
<v Speaker 4>to like think this through, and they missed some big,
<v Speaker 4>big gaps in logic. But you can't do that and
<v Speaker 4>then have him drop it. So this is a nearly
<v Speaker 4>guarantee that Seth retains. I just hope it's not just
<v Speaker 4>simply the vision doing their thing. Bron Breaker gets spear
<v Speaker 4>after spear after spear. Looks like Ciampunk's gonna win it.
<v Speaker 4>Oh Spear, Oh, here comes La Night b ft Oh,
<v Speaker 4>here comes Bronson Reid Tsunami. I. You know, I'm really
<v Speaker 4>really hoping that there's more to this than just that formula,
<v Speaker 4>because it's too obvious. Now, the obvious thing here is
<v Speaker 4>Seth wins and he should, and I don't care if
<v Speaker 4>it's obvious. I will take obvious because it's it's logical
<v Speaker 4>and it's the right thing to do. Those two things
<v Speaker 4>are simultaneous at this time. They are. They're sometimes not
<v Speaker 4>mutually exclusive. Sometimes what is right is not what's obvious,
<v Speaker 4>and vice versa. In this case, they are in lockstep.
<v Speaker 4>So that's off the table that Seth's going to lose
<v Speaker 4>the belt. If he does, I will be floored. The
<v Speaker 4>question is okay, Vision's gonna interfere check We know that,
<v Speaker 4>but like, okay, so two for two on things that
<v Speaker 4>guaranteed are going to happen. But how does Seth win?
<v Speaker 4>And after the match what happens? Is there a big return? Perhaps?
<v Speaker 4>Is there some kind of turn, not return, but somebody turning,
<v Speaker 4>somebody joining the vision? Not impossible. So that's really what
<v Speaker 4>I'm looking forward to is again match quality, which is
<v Speaker 4>going to be just a plus. This is going to
<v Speaker 4>be a fun ass match where you're going to believe
<v Speaker 4>and I hope there's times where I believe that. There's
<v Speaker 4>moments like you have those moments where you're like, okay,
<v Speaker 4>so that's gonna win. But can you make me believe
<v Speaker 4>this much during the match. That's those what I'm looking for.
<v Speaker 4>But on top of that, this is going to be
<v Speaker 4>a twenty five minute just I think it's going to
<v Speaker 4>be a I don't want to say classic, that might
<v Speaker 4>be a little bit too dramatic. It could be a
<v Speaker 4>four out of five star match. I think it really
<v Speaker 4>could be. Again, stars are very very much of a
<v Speaker 4>you know, a personal thing and kind of subjective to
<v Speaker 4>say the very least, but this match could easily be
<v Speaker 4>four out of five stars or higher. Now that's a
<v Speaker 4>high bar, but given the talent in the ring with
<v Speaker 4>jay Uso, Sampunk Knight and Seth Rollins, kind of a
<v Speaker 4>fair bar really when you think about it, with these
<v Speaker 4>four are capable of So it'll be fun again. Interference.
<v Speaker 4>Could brock Lesner interfere in this, and I guess he could,
<v Speaker 4>but he's already intertrying with John Cena. We all are
<v Speaker 4>looking and here's what I'm looking forward with with brock Lesner,
<v Speaker 4>and you know a lot of you don't like him
<v Speaker 4>from a personal level, and all the things he's involved
<v Speaker 4>with and everything else. But you can't tell me you
<v Speaker 4>put all that other stuff aside, the lawsuit in which
<v Speaker 4>you think you know he should do, and what ww
<v Speaker 4>should do, and why they bring him back, all the crap.
<v Speaker 4>You cannot tell me that it would not be incredibly
<v Speaker 4>compelling television if brock Lesner were to ever come in
<v Speaker 4>contact with with with Paul Hayman again, If Sampunk and
<v Speaker 4>brock Lesner and Roman Reigns are ever to come face
<v Speaker 4>to face with with Paul Hayman again and just surround
<v Speaker 4>him or just kind of stare at him, or even
<v Speaker 4>have a conversation with those three men in the ring
<v Speaker 4>with Paul Hayman. I mean, I think that's more of
<v Speaker 4>a WrestleMania type of story than it is a right
<v Speaker 4>now story. But if they have Brock back for any
<v Speaker 4>length of time that includes WrestleMania, which I'd imagine they would,
<v Speaker 4>this is where you go for WrestleMania. You go with
<v Speaker 4>a somehow Paul Hayman. You know, maybe it's a hell,
<v Speaker 4>maybe it's a fatal four way for the world title
<v Speaker 4>at WrestleMania, where you have seth Rollins in one corner,
<v Speaker 4>you have seampunk. In another corner, you have Brock Lesner
<v Speaker 4>and Roman Reigns and all Paul Haman guys now in
<v Speaker 4>one ring again kind of what they did last year,
<v Speaker 4>though it'd be a bit of a duplicate. But you
<v Speaker 4>add brock Lesner into the mix, who's obviously one of
<v Speaker 4>the biggest supporters of Paul Hayman and one of the
<v Speaker 4>obviously Hayman was the biggest advocate of brock forever. It
<v Speaker 4>just creates compelling television. So you put all that other
<v Speaker 4>crap aside. I don't want to hear it. You'd watch,
<v Speaker 4>you know. So now I am seeing here that the
<v Speaker 4>Wyatt six here, I'm trying to see if there's any
<v Speaker 4>other last minute event, last minute matches. I see there is,
<v Speaker 4>So the Street Profits are now going to challenge the
<v Speaker 4>Wyatt six for the tag team titles. Didn't see all
<v Speaker 4>of SmackDown yet, which is why I didn't mention it before.
<v Speaker 4>But I always check because I seemingly missed one of
<v Speaker 4>these last minute matches that WW throws at us. So
<v Speaker 4>the Wyat six, let's see here, I'm looking at the
<v Speaker 4>kind of a recap here it's the latest edition. Okay, okay, okay.
<v Speaker 4>It also feature Fate Forway, which I just talked about. So, okay,
<v Speaker 4>Street Profits become number one contenders against the Wyatt six.
<v Speaker 4>You know, I have gone over the Street Profits woes
<v Speaker 4>for a while now because they're plentiful. But one thing
<v Speaker 4>you can't take away from them. One thing you can
<v Speaker 4>on takeaway is their ability in the ring and their chemistry.
<v Speaker 4>Is a tag team as one of the few true
<v Speaker 4>tag teams in the company, because you can take anybody
<v Speaker 4>and throw them together. You can take anybody and throw
<v Speaker 4>them together and make them a quote unquote tag team.
<v Speaker 4>We've seen that time after time where WWE throws together
<v Speaker 4>a bunch of tag teams before WrestleMania and just creates
<v Speaker 4>the mirage that there's a division specifically with women. But
<v Speaker 4>the Three Profits are a true team that has chemistry, longevity,
<v Speaker 4>and ability in the ring and that intangible that you
<v Speaker 4>just can't put your finger on the like. They're that
<v Speaker 4>that's a team and they've got that maybe more than
<v Speaker 4>any other team does right now. And so the crowd
<v Speaker 4>still seems is positive towards them. They're getting a reaction
<v Speaker 4>because they're so good in the ring, and they're so
<v Speaker 4>just well oiled and they're just they're literally a machine
<v Speaker 4>in the ring as a tag team. So there is
<v Speaker 4>to be said for that kind of team against a
<v Speaker 4>wide six team that outside of the fact that, oh, yeah,
<v Speaker 4>we loved Bray and you did too, so cheer for us.
<v Speaker 4>That's essentially been their entire campaign for us to cheer
<v Speaker 4>for them since its inception, which at the time, you know,
<v Speaker 4>bray Wyatt was kind of still fresh in our minds
<v Speaker 4>about his passing, and they appeared on Raw and nearly
<v Speaker 4>seemingly murdered Chad Gable if you remember, who had like
<v Speaker 4>the worst night ever in the history of wrestling, and
<v Speaker 4>you know, he did that, and or they did that,
<v Speaker 4>and then they had the VHS tapes and you're like, okay, cool,
<v Speaker 4>they're doing individual character development. Then they disappear and they're
<v Speaker 4>gone for like six months. You're like, oh, yeah, they
<v Speaker 4>didn't do anything beyond that. They come back, there's not
<v Speaker 4>much development after that. It's very scattershot. There's so little
<v Speaker 4>going on with them from a character development standpoint that
<v Speaker 4>even the crowd's kind of like, like, we love Bray's music,
<v Speaker 4>we appreciate that this is a tribute group to Bray
<v Speaker 4>But you guys have to find your own identity. They
<v Speaker 4>have an identity crisis. Their entire foundation is built on
<v Speaker 4>bray Wyatt, who's no longer here, and so that can
<v Speaker 4>be a starting point, it can be a launching point,
<v Speaker 4>but it can't be your whole game the whole time.
<v Speaker 4>And so far it has been their whole game the
<v Speaker 4>whole time, and what has resulted in it. It's resulted
<v Speaker 4>in just feeling stale and flat, not people turning on them,
<v Speaker 4>just kind of going okay, cool, we get it. We
<v Speaker 4>like the entrance music. It reminds us of Bray and
<v Speaker 4>then they know they're in the ring. You're like, wait,
<v Speaker 4>why should I care about if you want to lose
<v Speaker 4>again just because you like the guy that I did.
<v Speaker 4>You know, it's a little bit. It's very, very very shallow,
<v Speaker 4>and we need more. And sure Bray White's brother is
<v Speaker 4>in there, his true brother. We get that, uncle, how
<v Speaker 4>do I understand? So then use it, use it to
<v Speaker 4>launch this group into a new level that has something
<v Speaker 4>to do with beyond just Bray Wyatt, and then people
<v Speaker 4>make care. So bringing that all full circle, my analysis
<v Speaker 4>of the street profits, my analysis of the Wide Six.
<v Speaker 4>Who wins? Boy, I mean, I'm gonna say the Wyatt's Six,
<v Speaker 4>but this is probably their last time. Retaining them as
<v Speaker 4>tag champions does not feel particularly interesting. And the you know,
<v Speaker 4>the Street Profits. While I have advocated for and rallied
<v Speaker 4>for them to golder separate ways and have monteses Ford
<v Speaker 4>break out into a singles role, which I've been I
<v Speaker 4>feel like I've been saying for like five years, six
<v Speaker 4>years now since the pandemic, there is a case to
<v Speaker 4>be made to keep them together as a team in
<v Speaker 4>a company that has a very thin roster and depth
<v Speaker 4>chart for tag teams. So there is that too, So
<v Speaker 4>I would say, I mean, honestly, I won't be mad
<v Speaker 4>either way who wins it. If the Street Profits Profits
<v Speaker 4>win it, great. If the White Six keep it, that's
<v Speaker 4>fine too, But I think they won't keep it very long.
<v Speaker 4>They're not a long standing tag team title holder. Just
<v Speaker 4>doesn't feel that way because here's the thing. Not only
<v Speaker 4>is their character development week and they're standing simply on
<v Speaker 4>the fact that Bray's die dead and hey, you know
<v Speaker 4>we were using his music, so cheer us. It's also that,
<v Speaker 4>like you know, they they haven'tdent any character development inside
<v Speaker 4>of the inside of it, and why should fans care,
<v Speaker 4>you know, and so there's not much to stand out.
<v Speaker 4>So all right, anyway, Yeah, I'm gonna go with the
<v Speaker 4>Wide six retaining and we'll see if I'm right. So
<v Speaker 4>so far, what a my, what my? What's my recap?
<v Speaker 4>So I think the Wide six retain, although again this
<v Speaker 4>is a hell of a toss up ple very much
<v Speaker 4>a toss up pl that is, just all of these
<v Speaker 4>matches scare me. Outside of Seth roles victory of retaining
<v Speaker 4>the world title, this whole match, this whole card is
<v Speaker 4>a trap for money. I would stay away, guys, but
<v Speaker 4>you do what you want with your money. Of course.
<v Speaker 4>I know a lot of people that do bet on wrestling,
<v Speaker 4>and people tell me all the time these odds that odds,
<v Speaker 4>you can go to Vegas, you can go Tho's other site. See,
<v Speaker 4>I would be very weary other than the Seth Rollins one.
<v Speaker 4>But again, your money, folks, So to recap. Yes, I
<v Speaker 4>think the Wyatt six retain. I think that Becky Lynch
<v Speaker 4>retains the Intercontinental title. I think that Seth as I said,
<v Speaker 4>Seth Rollins retains. I think that Logan Paul wins against
<v Speaker 4>John Cena. I think that Seamus beats Russev. How about that?
<v Speaker 4>So I'm going through one more time because I feel
<v Speaker 4>like there's always a damn match. I'm trying to find
<v Speaker 4>the actual Let's see here, the card is the USA today,
<v Speaker 4>I've gone to the Roman or the ww site. Let's see.
<v Speaker 4>I think that might be it. Yeah, I think I
<v Speaker 4>got it all. So this trend continues with the you know,
<v Speaker 4>Triple H Eric and the Paul lavec Era of having
<v Speaker 4>fewer matches, longer matches with his pls, And that's fine
<v Speaker 4>with me. More time to tell a story rather than
<v Speaker 4>more stories with less time. I'm a big fan of that. Also,
<v Speaker 4>I know Samy's Ain did win the US title against Solo.
<v Speaker 4>No objections against that none. Solo and his group are
<v Speaker 4>a spin off, as I said, of a spinoff that
<v Speaker 4>was a spinoff of a spinoff of a group that
<v Speaker 4>I think a lot of us are kind of like.
<v Speaker 5>Cool.
<v Speaker 4>It was a great story. Move on, and we'll have
<v Speaker 4>more to say on that. I'll have the SmackDown review
<v Speaker 4>up tomorrow morning from Amanda. I have that ready to
<v Speaker 4>go in the shoot, but I will put it up
<v Speaker 4>tomorrow morning for those of you wondering, and that'll be good.
<v Speaker 4>Also Kevin Owens news. Kevin Owens has recently been interviewed
<v Speaker 4>and he only had spinal fusion level one, which I
<v Speaker 4>guess is the best case scenario. He let his body heal,
<v Speaker 4>which apparently was extremely important, and then they did the surgery,
<v Speaker 4>which again was the best case scenario. Still in that
<v Speaker 4>great scenario, but the best of all possibilities, and he
<v Speaker 4>got the successful surgery, and now it's a matter of
<v Speaker 4>how well does the bone fuse together. It's a surgery
<v Speaker 4>that Austin had, that Edge had, and both of them.
<v Speaker 4>Eventually we're able to come back. So all's well so far,
<v Speaker 4>and it looks like Kevin Owens could be aiming for
<v Speaker 4>a late twenty twenty six return if all goes well,
<v Speaker 4>so hopefully for that. In about a year we could
<v Speaker 4>be talking about a Kevin Owens return. Maybe hey, maybe
<v Speaker 4>as early as SummerSlam next year. I'm not saying it's
<v Speaker 4>gonna happen, but perhaps any year we're bringing back Ko
<v Speaker 4>and I would love it. I mean, I wish him
<v Speaker 4>nothing but the best. When it happened, we were all thinking, oh,
<v Speaker 4>it's a work, please be a work, and it never
<v Speaker 4>ended up being a work with Randy Orton, and maybe
<v Speaker 4>they'll pick up right where they left off. You never know.
<v Speaker 4>That's the other thing too, Randy Orton's is not on
<v Speaker 4>the card here. Keep that in mind. I know that
<v Speaker 4>he and Drew have had their qualms, but with Drew
<v Speaker 4>not there and Randy not there and Cody Rhodes and
<v Speaker 4>I mean, it's kind of interesting, kind of interesting. Maybe
<v Speaker 4>these guys could show their faces on the event. Keep
<v Speaker 4>that in mind again with brock lesnar looming, but brock
<v Speaker 4>you know how he is with travel and everything else.
<v Speaker 4>We'll see if that happens. And lastly, one more thing
<v Speaker 4>and then I will be out of your hair. I
<v Speaker 4>certainly don't have any, so I got to use your
<v Speaker 4>metaphorical hair. I would say that the rumors about Chris
<v Speaker 4>Jericho and his return to w WE, I hope they're true.
<v Speaker 4>There's been and there's actually Chris Jericho him self on
<v Speaker 4>his own social media put a picture out of him
<v Speaker 4>sitting somewhere. I don't know if he's on a train
<v Speaker 4>or plane, I don't know what. And he's sitting there
<v Speaker 4>looking very intrigued, and it just said The caption was contemplation.
<v Speaker 4>I think we all know what that infers. He's contemplating
<v Speaker 4>if he should stay with AW or go back to
<v Speaker 4>the WWE, looking at his options to probably the money,
<v Speaker 4>everything that you'd expect somebody to look at. So I
<v Speaker 4>think in the end you will see Chris Jericho back
<v Speaker 4>in WWE on a limited in ring basis. Could it
<v Speaker 4>be at the Royal Rumble as a special return? That'd
<v Speaker 4>be fun. I wouldn't mind Chris Jericho back in the company.
<v Speaker 4>That think it'd be a lot of fun. Is he
<v Speaker 4>as good as he was?
<v Speaker 1>No?
<v Speaker 4>But I mean, my god, there's a lot of guys
<v Speaker 4>that are back that aren't as good as they were.
<v Speaker 4>But Chris Jericho back would be fun. Maybe he'll be
<v Speaker 4>back in time for John Cena. I doubt it, but
<v Speaker 4>if he is, then it'll be fun to see Chris
<v Speaker 4>Jericho back in the company, you know, just for nostalgic sake.
<v Speaker 4>We're all just we're all just violently, fatally ill with nostalgia.
<v Speaker 4>I mean, the millennial generation, we have a we have
<v Speaker 4>a problem. We all have a problem. And so we'll see.
<v Speaker 4>But I wanted to adjust those things with Kevin Owens
<v Speaker 4>and with of course the potential return of Chris Jericho
<v Speaker 4>to the company. So all right, that'll do it, I
<v Speaker 4>think everybody, So thank you those of you that are
