00:02:37
Speaker 3: Baseball Now, we.

00:02:38
Speaker 2: Talked a little baseball. In fact, we talked a lot of baseball. Now we're talking NBA and the Atlanta Hawks planning on their Magic City Monday Night, a quote cultural place in the city of Atlanta, a gentleman's club known for their wings and entertainment and performers. TI people are coming out for this big Monday Night and the row for people that like this is vulgar. The rub did I say the rub? There's robbing, no rubbing hands by your side. The rub would be that there's no women involved, there's no strippers. It is simply a night. You would have to imagine how that some legendary alumni would want to make a cameo and get on the big screen that night. Now, like Big Booty Becky or something, I like a section of tickets for the former performers from Magic City. Well, they are indeed moving forward with Magic City Monday in Atlanta. And the reason we bring it up was because we talked about last week Spurs Luke Cornett. Luke Cornett of the Spurs slams the Atlanta Hawks Magic City Night, saying what message does this send to women? So I wanted to keep it open in mind and let's let's come to our own conclusion here. Is is this a move that's disrespectful to women? Or is it just celebrating a fun spot in Atlanta? Is a little of bothca sometimes like two things could be right Truthfully, Yeah, it's probably that, you know, because you could just say, hey, it's a fun night and it's a celebration of what they're calling a cultural institution, a part of Atlanta. You know, sometimes I refer to Atlanta as Magic City, right, I mean, don't we say that sometimes because it's such a popular like even tourist attraction. Let me throw this out there. This is what Cornett said. Cornet of the Spurs, the NBA should desire to protect and esteem women, many of whom work diligently every day to make this the best basketball league in the world. We should promote an atmosphere that is protective and respectful of the daughter's wives, sisters, mothers, and partners that we know and love. Cornett added, the promotion will reflect poorly on the whole NBA, as it can make the league quote complicit in the potential objectification my mom agrees and mistreatment of women in our society. Regardless of how a woman finds her way into the adult entertainment industry, many in the space experience abuse, harassment, and violence which they should never be subject. He's bringing some real man's bringing the real talk into He's not wrong time, He's not wrong at all. That's why it makes headlines. If it wasn't a controversial move, we probably wouldn't have known about it. It sounds odd that they're doing this and embracing it. I know it's meant to be fun, and they're doing it when they play the Magic on March sixteenth, right Magic City Night, Magic City Monday. He's not wrong, He's not I don't think it's uh every dad's dream. I'm a girl dad, I don't think it's my it's not my my dream for my daughter to work at Magic City. One night we celebrate Chris Rock saying used to be uh, you know what's the dad goal? Keep her off the poll, and now now it's keep her off the only fans, keep the cheeks off the gram Yeah off fane off the of. So yeah, like we are sending mixed signals by celebrating that. Yeah, absolutely, he's not wrong, it's just you don't want to hear it. There's a there's a dark side of that industry. We all could accept that, and it's the sad realities. There's a lot of desperate women that do this. There's a lot of women trying to get a cheap that it was their dream gig and and but then there's other women that own it. They're like, I'm gonna own my sexuality and go strips.

00:06:19
Speaker 4: It empowers some women and it puts them through school. That that's another side of it as well. So that's why I oh is that.

00:06:26
Speaker 2: The Rob Parker Scholarship Fund yes, I'm sorry. I understand you know that two things could be right as a boring answer.

00:06:33
Speaker 3: But he's number twenty seven.

00:06:35
Speaker 2: It's the true answer. Yeah, I mean there's two sides to this. You could say a fun night and you could also say a disrespectful night. And I think also controversial enough that you know, Luke Cornett does make a good point, especially when the NBA so closely affiliated, i mean owns the w NBA, which is supposed to be empowering women.

00:06:54
Speaker 4: In the same time, how's it disrespectful? Rich They're not having the dancers in though is on thee.

00:07:00
Speaker 2: Because we're celebrating. Uh, they're celebrating now we I'm not even part of this. They're celebrating distance. But what he's saying, Danny g is like just gets in there there. They'll be like saying, hey, we're having Pornhub night at the stadium. Well we're not bringing any adult film stars here, so what.

00:07:17
Speaker 1: Just the night?

00:07:17
Speaker 2: Yeah, you're still you're still celebrating it and they're honoring it.

00:07:21
Speaker 3: You know.

00:07:22
Speaker 2: What's interesting is uh, what's interesting is that we live in a world now where women more than ever rightfully so own their sexuality, right like they there's no shame in like it used to be, Like, you know, if a guy hooked up with a lot of women, he's a stun If a woman did, she's a hoe like that. That narrative has changed and women are owning their sexuality more to the point where I remember was it some like Mightley Cyrus's brother someone said something a couple of years ago like oh, they're on OnlyFans, good luck dating someone quality after that, And they got a lot of crap for that, Like like there's a lot of defense of like what you ask a young kid, you ask someone that's forty ish or so, hey, would you ever date someone that was a stripper? You're gonna get a lot of people being like, no, you as some twenty two year old, Hey would you date someone that's on OnlyFans? They might be like, yeah, I guess so.

00:08:13
Speaker 3: Yeah.

00:08:13
Speaker 5: It's their passive income. It's a side hustle. Yeah, but making money is the stigma is not there? The That's that's the argument for what's the big deal? Because the stigma of women owning their own brand and sexuality is okay? Where it You know, if women felt like they were being pulled into the porn industry, or like there was an abusive atmosphere.

00:08:36
Speaker 2: Everyone else turned away, Like you're not Gary Vaynerchuk because you have an OnlyFans page. You know, you're not an entrepreneur. You're not you know, like, yeah, I get you're making some great money, but not everybody is. How many women are out there, you know, putting their stuff out there for twenty seven bucks a month. As the meme goes, I thought I was gonna become a millionaire. But now all my friends and family and everyone's seen my you know, goodies, and I made four hundred and twelve dollars. Yeah, so not everybody's slaying it like that. So it's an interesting moral I think it's both.

00:09:09
Speaker 1: I question.

00:09:10
Speaker 2: I commend him for being one of the only people I've seen of note to stand up against the league he plays in and says, hey, you know that's not cool. Listen, I'm not right because it's not a popular angle to take in today's world of anything goes. I can't say I like to listen, and I've never shot away from this. I'm not one that had the greatest moral compass when I was a younger man of my twenties. You know, we lived a fun time and still you're like the undisputed champion and still Rich Davis, I'm a pretty open, understanding guy when it comes to this type of stuff that's also known as pervert. Rich is a pervert ry. My point is, I'm not a judge of people for what they do in their bedroom or at a strip club. However, for me to say, when I heard Magic City Night, it made me ears feel a certain way like City there.

00:10:02
Speaker 3: But I'm not.

00:10:02
Speaker 4: I'm not judgmental at all either, and I come from when though.

00:10:07
Speaker 2: I mean, I take it clear though that the women weren't dancing, so they're trying to make it a family fun night.

00:10:11
Speaker 3: I guarantee you.

00:10:12
Speaker 4: My mom is the most religious person out of all of our moms. Not so much a Bible thumper, but she lives by the Bible. That's how she's lived her whole life, you know, my entire life. Now, she wouldn't approve of this, she wouldn't like this.

00:10:26
Speaker 2: But it's the Bible, say, according to Shila buff Yeah.

00:10:28
Speaker 4: But Rich, on the other hand, she doesn't think that gay pride knight at the stadium should be a thing either. You're talking morals and all that, So there's old school people who have feelings about lots of different things, not just that side of it.

00:10:44
Speaker 2: There's there's a there's gonna more progressive time, that's for sure. There's a type of listen, there's but you know what, here's the here's the other side of the answer. Right, you don't have to go. No one's forcing you to go. I know's right, but no, if you're one of those progressive types or a younger person where it's no big deal for you, go and have a blast. So that's what we have to understand. Like it's like a radio show, you get complaints. Guess what, guys, you don't have to listen. I'm glad you do, but there's other options on the Arhet radio app. But I do.

00:11:09
Speaker 1: You don't have to go but to Magic City Night. No one's forcing you.

00:11:13
Speaker 2: We live more in a world now than ever and listen all the stuff that you don't want to talk about because it's just depressing and divisive. Think of all the politics and all the stuff going on in the world that people fight about. It doesn't stop in sports and entertainment. We're talking about two distinct different types of people we all know. You can name one family member and one friend. Easily that is like who cares Magic City have fun? Gay Pride Knight? Who cares have fun? And then we all know someone an older relative maybe that's like, yeah, dude, they shouldn't have a stripper Knight and they should not have gay Pride Night because people come from different moral and religious and everyone has their own set of what they believe. So this is a you're right, there's no right answer to this question.

00:11:53
Speaker 6: You know what I think should happen. I think that this summer of the Las Vegas aces of the WNBA should hold thunder from down Under night a retaliation there, dude, we'll make it a proch trip.

00:12:07
Speaker 1: I mean I got the first leg to Barstow.

00:12:11
Speaker 2: Wait, I mean uh what?

00:12:13
Speaker 3: Uh?

00:12:13
Speaker 4: It's cool, Isaac Dad? Can we can we stop at the Del Taco in Barstow?

00:12:17
Speaker 3: Yes?

00:12:18
Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, there's an in and out in Barstow. You know what, I'm gonna put him on the spot, Shay, one of my favorite people. Check, come in here minute.

00:12:24
Speaker 4: Yeah, he's gonna be helping us with the last one standing, and he's.

00:12:26
Speaker 6: Gonna regret that he was just walking by the studio.

00:12:28
Speaker 2: Oh, she's my dude, I love Shae is uh. I think I call him sh Shehey, butter yo?

00:12:34
Speaker 3: What up?

00:12:34
Speaker 2: Sha Sha? Because he smells like those dude ye, yes, my dude, real quick. You're you're a younger dude, handsome guy living here in La.

00:12:43
Speaker 1: Yeah.

00:12:43
Speaker 3: I go to this mic.

00:12:43
Speaker 2: How old is Sha?

00:12:44
Speaker 7: Like?

00:12:45
Speaker 2: Twenty five twenty four old? Do you know anymore?

00:12:47
Speaker 3: Bro?

00:12:47
Speaker 1: I don't know twenty six, twenty six? Damn, you're getting old.

00:12:51
Speaker 2: Sha Shae. If you met a Hawk girl and she's like, yes, Shay at one point, I had an only fans page? Would you care?

00:12:58
Speaker 3: Ah?

00:12:59
Speaker 1: How does she like a ten?

00:13:07
Speaker 2: I need to because you put up with more exactly.

00:13:12
Speaker 3: I'm not.

00:13:14
Speaker 1: I dated a bottle girl that's similar, Yeah, bottle service.

00:13:17
Speaker 2: I have a question. You wouldn't tell your mom? Would your mom like her? Would your mom if you saw mom, I'm dating a girl that uh has an only fans page? Okay?

00:13:26
Speaker 3: Would she?

00:13:26
Speaker 2: Would your mom be uh like upset about this? Or Shay? Who cares? I get it?

00:13:30
Speaker 1: She would? Yeah, she wouldn't. I'd probably tell her she's a doctor or something.

00:13:34
Speaker 3: Yeah.

00:13:35
Speaker 1: I don't know if I would.

00:13:36
Speaker 2: Federational it really is, but you know it's a shallow and hypocritical. Dres a range rover. What does she do?

00:13:46
Speaker 1: Doctor takes care of me.

00:13:47
Speaker 2: It's it's also very hypocritical if you want to be real about it. And I didn't take the real angle Luke Cornett did. And I say that again because yeah, you could go to Magic City and have a great time, but if your daughter was there working, how would you feel about? But then again, that's that's a man. It's a tough one.

00:14:04
Speaker 5: We're forgetting to think something here that it's not just about Like, first of all, Luke Cornett, I think he's taking a stand just against the Atlanta Hawks, Like I guess they probably had to pass it by the NBA to see if this is okay. But it's also we're forgetting like there's children at a lot of these games. I know there won't be exotic dancers, but it's like the whole idea of having a theme of like a strip club night theme, is that really okay for families? Like there's also that you have to consider. I don't know if he talked about that as much, but I mean women, you know, if they're paying their way through school by being a stripper, then.

00:14:35
Speaker 3: That part of their life will just be left in the pass at some point.

00:14:37
Speaker 2: There's plenty of ways to try to make some money. So that's just an excuse.

00:14:41
Speaker 5: By the way they're playing the Magic which I thought was that a coincidence?

00:14:44
Speaker 6: Was that playing by the way Sam rais is a fascinating point. Do they actually have to check with the NBA about the sort of thing? And if they did, did the NBA approve or are all the individual team promotions you know, you're on their own and you don't need league approval.

00:15:02
Speaker 2: Interesting, that's true.

00:15:03
Speaker 3: I don't know.

00:15:04
Speaker 2: I assume they would have to run that by the NBA.

00:15:06
Speaker 5: But what do I This type of thing would not be probably happening in like Salt Lake City.

00:15:10
Speaker 3: If I say that.

00:15:11
Speaker 2: If I said, if I said to you, if I said you have to bet one thousand dollars right now, would you bet yes or no? That Adam Silver has been to Magic City?

00:15:25
Speaker 1: But that's not fair. Magic City is like a club, like I would You guys are talking like Magic City is this grimy like I mean there, That's what I'm saying. Like you guys have been.

00:15:35
Speaker 2: There, I wouldn't say it was this classiest place.

00:15:38
Speaker 1: Okay, it's definitely a strip club, don't get me wrong. But at the same time, I just feel like it's you get wings there, you sit down, you're having a good time.

00:15:47
Speaker 3: I said, it's a hot spot. It's a hot spot.

00:15:49
Speaker 1: Yeah, It's not like I'm going to like the Gentleman's Club and I'm hanging out with a bunch of truckers smoking a cigar. It's it's a very different.

00:15:57
Speaker 2: You do you think the NBA misstepping the so you think it's totally fun?

00:16:01
Speaker 3: I think it's cool.

00:16:02
Speaker 2: Cool.

00:16:02
Speaker 3: By the way, this an update. An update.

00:16:06
Speaker 4: Just three hours ago, Warriors Al Horford backs Luke's criticism of Hawk's Magic City Night.

00:16:11
Speaker 2: Well, you got to remember there are people with a different moral code that are in every league. Right, We've We've talked about it. I say this and not in a joking way. I say this just from an observational standpoint. And I'm not saying he went away, right, don't call it a comeback. He's been here for years, thousands of years in fact, Jesus, right, oh, Jesus. I've noticed a major major shift with young people. Maybe it's a pushback of a lot of the terrible things they've witnessed in their lifetime. But if you watch sports, which we all do, and you see who they're thinking at the end of the game, at the end of the fight, at the awards ceremony, you're seeing young people more than ever. And it's not just black kids, as everybody now really leaning into their their relationship with Jesus. On talk shows, I found Jesus and Jesus and Jesus, this Jesus that even Shialah baff talking about Jesus. It's been a very noticeable shift if you're paying attention to that, and young people are starting to live by that code and really starting to embrace religion in Jesus or whatever the case may be. You could see how a lot of people probably back Luke Cornett. So are you saying Jesus is the comeback player of the year.

00:17:19
Speaker 1: Would he be okay with it? I think he would be.

00:17:21
Speaker 2: Well, he's forget forgiving, I get it. I'm just saying Jesus, yeah, I look, yeah, Jesus was down with Mary Magdalen, right. But my point is I think that we're going through a shift of morality, and I think that there's a lot of young people that probably wouldn't be players in the NBA that wouldn't be okay with it. Now, there's gonna be a lot of parents that are going to have to have a serious talk with their kids when kids.

00:17:47
Speaker 1: Are like, what's Magic City?

00:17:49
Speaker 2: Mom? And those are uncomfortable conversation saying I get what you're saying. Forget the NBA, just in young men in general. For every guy that's like, yeah, magic City, let's go party time, I think there's for every guy that's like that, there's a Fernando Mendoza that's probably like my you know, yeah, it's against my morale, my morality. We're very divided. I think it's a fifty to fifty thing. I think it's meant to be fun and we're not trying to suck the fun out of it. But I think that Luke Cornette makes a decent point that not a lot of people probably want to speak out against I it wants to be the party pooper.

00:18:24
Speaker 5: There's plenty of Christians to go to strip clubs, and there's plenty of non religious people who would maybe have objection objections to this.

00:18:29
Speaker 2: I want to say that, yeah, I SA mentioned hypocrisy, like, I think there's a lot of hypocrisy here for sure. I think it's an interesting conversation. Hey, bring it up at dinner tonight with your wife. See what she says bringing up with the parents. Jesus is the comeback player of the year. And if you didn't notice it, you trust me, Navid I said it. It's awareness theory. You're gonna notice everybody. You're gonna be watching Star Search and watch every young person and Jelly Roll and everybody bringing up Jesus every three seconds.

00:18:55
Speaker 3: Now.

00:18:56
Speaker 2: I don't know what it is, but there's something out there. There's a morality rebirth, something like that rebirth of Slick or something. I don't disagree with them. All right, we got more Covene on Rich and we're gonna play Last One Standing, And I'm got Shay. 00:24:40
Speaker 3: Lamar Jackson.

00:24:42
Speaker 2: No, yes, no, no, he's a lateund first round sorry for the beginning of the second round. Should have been number one.

00:24:48

00:26:40
Speaker 1: Trey Lance? That was two thousand and nine.

00:26:43
Speaker 6: I know Carson Wentz was number two right that year?

00:26:52
Speaker 2: We'll figure it out. We'll figure it out.

00:26:53
Speaker 3: What's the good Second category? Rich derailing in the game. It's okay, Rich is looking at up right?

00:26:59
Speaker 2: What draft Trey Lance.

00:27:01
Speaker 3: It's gonna bother him. I know. Let's let you get it out of your.

00:27:04
Speaker 2: It was the third over. Who was the number one pick in twenty twenty one? He was Trey Lancer's number number three. And then we're Mac Jones. Oh, Trevor Lawrence, thank you to the rescue in the editing room. Yeah, t you, Trevor Lawrence. Duh? All right?

00:27:19
Speaker 4: All right, second category years on top of years, you have five seconds to name an MLB player who tops the all time list for most years played. Oh, the longest careers MLB player, most years played. We're gonna take the top thirty six. There's a lot of ties. All right, most seasons played. We will start with you Gunner in Eugene. When the timer goes.

00:27:41

00:27:46
Speaker 4: Yes, all time, longest careers, yeah, says cal Ripkin.

00:27:52
Speaker 2: Nope, no, not for years. I thought that's a great guess. I get you know what the longevity made you realize, Islo, Julio Franco good one. He's so funny. I wrote that down.

00:28:05
Speaker 3: He's definitely on that list. Ye yes, sir. How many years.

00:28:30
Speaker 6: Here's the one, okay.

00:28:32
Speaker 2: Jamie Moyer, Yes, yeah, oh that was really good one. I was thinking of that old as.

00:28:38
Speaker 8: Yeah.

00:28:39
Speaker 2: So we're talking about seasons.

00:28:40
Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, all right, back to Covino.

00:28:44
Speaker 2: Col have I got one for you. I want to I want to brainwave it to you.

00:29:05
Speaker 2: Give us some of the most names, yea. Jelias Darren Oliver played for two that came up to me. I had Willie Mays in my and I had Rich Hill. Didn't Rich Hill pitch like again?

Speaker 1: Don Sutton? Kyle Ripkins is not even on here?

00:29:29
Speaker 3: I know? But how many? So? How did he look him up?

00:29:31
Speaker 1: Pete Pros twenty four seasons, Rogers twenty four seasons, Tony Perez twenty three, Willy May's twenty three, ty Cop twenty four.

00:29:41
Speaker 2: I remember the rocket pitch when he was like eighteen. That's why too, we forget rocket pitched from eighteen until he was fortieth or so.

00:29:47
Speaker 1: Greg Maddocks, You guys didn't get Greg Maddicks.

00:29:50
Speaker 2: That's the idea that he was like mid eighties baseball.

00:29:53
Speaker 3: Ripkin played twenty one seasons.

00:29:55
Speaker 2: Oh wow?

00:29:55
Speaker 1: And today is m Street Carl m Stree Stremski, Yeah wow.

00:30:00
Speaker 4: Okay, all right, all right, battle, thank you guys. More you want to do one more category?

Speaker 1: Just okay with you guys?

00:30:06
Speaker 3: Please? All right? Gunner? Are you still there? Gunner?

00:30:11
Speaker 4: If you win this round, we will send you a prize pack. How about that? Give you one shot? What's going on here? Rich just gets some butted with another one. He's just so mad he didn't win around.

00:30:22
Speaker 2: I had a coffee's just quarter in junior high football, I had a coffee at a Monster energy drink, so I need to get some energy out.

00:30:31
Speaker 4: Somebody install a treadmill in the studio, Okay, packing them in, all right, listen, listen closely.

00:30:36
Speaker 3: All right.

00:30:37
Speaker 4: You have five seconds to name an NFL team that led the league in average total attendance this past season. So that is home games and away so you have to have a decent sized home stadium and be a good draw. All right, we're going to take the top eighteen teams. Covino, You're up first, starting right now.

00:30:54
Speaker 2: Sorry, you'll play twenty two years. Top eighteen teams average total attendance Dallas Cowboys.

00:31:01
Speaker 3: What number one?

00:31:03
Speaker 1: Umber one, number one, seventeen overall game?

00:31:06
Speaker 1: All right, Rich, I'm gonna say forty nine ers travel well, Frank, number eleven, al right.

00:31:11
Speaker 2: I love Green Bay Packers.

00:31:42
Speaker 1: Broncos are at number seven, Gunner, Google Eagles are at five.

00:31:50
Speaker 3: Yes, covena, what a battle?

00:31:52
Speaker 2: Steelers?

00:31:53
Speaker 1: Steelers are not on the line.

00:31:55
Speaker 2: Oh wow, right, Rich, Panther's kidding.

00:31:59
Speaker 3: Uh.

00:32:00
Speaker 6: Bills bills on list. Bills are on the list. Commanders, The Commanders are on the list. Number seventeen, Yes, or another second one, Gunner, Yet, Jets are on the list number twelve. Alright, back to Rich Mac.

00:32:23
Speaker 2: Three two Seattle Seahawks defending on the list.

00:32:28
Speaker 1: They're eighteenth.

00:32:30
Speaker 3: Just made it, Islo.

00:32:31
Speaker 6: Lions.

00:32:32
Speaker 1: The Lions are not on the left, all right, Gunner.

00:32:36
Speaker 3: That means you're alive.

00:32:39
Speaker 2: Who's up, Gunner?

00:32:40
Speaker 9: Yeah, I got not the left.

00:32:45
Speaker 4: To just guess any NFL team anything one Raiders.

00:32:51
Speaker 1: Raiders are not on the list.

00:32:57
Speaker 2: I'm so glad we've paid one extra round so Rich could walk away happy. Is the fifth quarter in junior high football? Honestly, I'm really glad we extended this so Rich be smiling right now. You know you're gonna be happy.

00:33:07
Speaker 1: Though in a second, remember when when he said Panthers and so confidently said, I'm getting Yeah, they are number tenth on the list.

00:33:16
Speaker 2: Oh you know what, I have a theory. I want the Panthers on the list. Maybe no, maybe on the road. They're a cheaper ticket and travel. You know what I'm saying, traveling. It's like, you know, a lot of times you'll go to a game. I'm surprised the Lions wearing on the list. I'm surprised the Steelers wearing on that list. I did say Panthers joking, Oh my god. Other time, Thanks Gunner, Gunner, thank you for playing Gunner.

00:33:37
Speaker 3: Appreciate you.

00:33:38
Speaker 2: I'm all right, all right, let's go to I Love for an update, blow and Crown. Oh, thank you guys. And he's the champion, the winner, Isaac.

00:33:46
Speaker 6: Yeah, I called my shot four times now, guys. The Arizona Cardinals and form quarterback Kyler Murray that they will be releasing him. Murray posting on social media, quote, I wanted nothing more than to be the one to end the seventy seven year draft for this organization. I am I'm sorry I failed this. I wish this community and my brother is nothing but the best. Will you just please just butt in and not raise your hand. It's your guys show.

00:34:10
Speaker 2: But mister professor Ji Cavino, professor, Yes, where does Kyler Murray go from here? Cavino? What I joked about, like, is he too old to try baseball now? Because remember he was the two Star the two sport athletes like twenty six? Is there a team right now in the NFL that you think would be like, let's let's invest our future in Kyler Murray and what he would probably be twenty eight and twenty eight? Now, I don't really.

00:34:30
Speaker 5: Absolutely has options, do you think?

00:34:32
Speaker 8: So?

00:34:32
Speaker 1: He has a Minnesota he has that option?

00:34:35
Speaker 2: Oh, okay, Minnesota is an interesting thought. They have nothing going on right now. But invest is the key word. I mean a team might be willing to give him a shot, but certainly not to a long term, big money contract. Speaking of big money, the Indianapolis Colts placing a thirty seven point eight million dollar transition tag on quarterback Daniel Jones and Cincinnati Bengals did not use the franchise tag on defensive end Trey Hendrickson. He's an unrestricted free agent now and in fact posted a good bye message to cincinnat out on social media. Seahawks did not use the franchise tag on Super Bowl MVP running back Kenneth Walker. He's also now an unrestricted free agent. ESPN reported Chicago Bears Pro Bowl center Drew Dollman retiring after five seasons in the NFL. Finally, Cavino, when a rich we have a college baseball strikeout update. After an Indiana Hoosier's pitcher had a rough outing over the weekend in a loss in a road game at Western Kentucky, the pitcher attempted to slide into the DMS of a local Western Kentucky co ed. The Indiana pitcher DM quote, well what are you up to tonight? Unquote, only to have the Western Kentucky co ed reply quote, partying dot dot dot you should probably sleep since you pitched like bleep unquote. Oh man, man, you slide into some random person's dms and cards out there are a huge college baseball fan. Back to you, guys, thought striking out. By the way, speaking of sliding into dms, I saw that Selena Gomez. She was not only kissing her husband Benny Blanco's feet and everyone's grossed out. She was randomly screeching baby Andre the giant baby Aujre at the Giant. She was looking up random people that they were calling out, and she was amazed how many random people that she wouldn't name had tried to slide into her DMS over the years.

00:37:49
Speaker 3: So I just brought up a demolition man by the police.

00:37:52
Speaker 2: Ah. I couldn't even remember what the reference was to, but it was. I knew it was being a demolition man. I know where a big dude wipe supporter. But have you ever tried the three seashells A stallone classic Tiltely you had a three seashells?

00:38:10

00:38:37
Speaker 2: The aftermath of last one standing, I can't tell you the aggravation. I feel like my brain is sizzled. I'm defeated, I'm made fine. You just kept saying the Hank Aaron, yeah, because we talked about longevity and MLB, and I couldn't think of Hank Aaron in that moment. Drives me bonkers because we have some of his later baseball cards right of course handed down my uncle Gate any one, and the print was so small in the back of his card. That's a small example of how you feel after that game, because it's like the certain things you know, it's the process of elimination, so someone will steal the answer you were about to say, but then there's other ones you knew, you knew, and then ah, it's so aggravating. But congrats again to Low and Crown. We'll do that usually on Mondays, by the way, but every day we're giving away prizes here on the show and if you want to qualify, follow our podcast, Covino and Rich on Apple Podcasts and leave a review, and if Danny g emails you, you win a prize. Simple as that. Pretty cool. Yeah, it's gotta be a nice review. Prett day, pretty day. Pretty cool. What are you doing tonight? Anything good?

00:39:40
Speaker 1: Tonight Tuesday night? Because I know, I know Steve Cavino.

00:39:44
Speaker 2: We're We're about a month away from Cavino watching one hundred and sixty two Yankee games. Whether he's at a restaurant, a work dinner, out on a date with his girlfriend, he's the I watch all one sixty two. So I'm trying to set how you spend your last few weeks of baseball freedom. Oh yeah, it's it's my joy. Really, it's just, you know, as background television. I'm not glued to every pitch, but I watch every game, and yeah, I love it. Man, life changes at the end of the month. Well, you know what WBC on Friday for a team US. I can't wait. So tonight My plans are to lay there and not be bothered. But then I get bored, so I gotta figure something out. I'm probably gonna watch I didn't watch a new Paradise. Yet I'll watch that. That show is fantastic. And is it weird that I get so excited to watch my kid play baseball? It's like my joy, Like I'm soorry I would that be weird? But I'm obsessed with it. Where to the point where I told my wife, I'm like, I got a chill a little bit, like it's I'm not living vicariously through him. I'm just getting so much joy watching him enjoy something. We want to be weird if you didn't find joy and what, No, But I know there's a lot of parents games and you didn't care.

00:40:52
Speaker 3: I know what I'm saying.

00:40:53
Speaker 2: There's a lot of parents that are like, oh, I'm another game, another practice, like I look forward to it. And where you whether you're you are an eager be versus we know. But what I'm saying, like whether or not you played football, baseball, basketball, lacrosse, whatever you did as a kid. When you see your kid play, I don't know, there's just like such a sense of like your kid's good and all, but he's not like that toddler kid wearing diapers, just hitting frozen ropes with his dad.

00:41:14
Speaker 1: That's all over social media. No, kid could ever be that kid? Sam, do you know this kid?

00:41:18
Speaker 2: I know you're like anti Instagram and everything else, but there's a little kid. He's like in his jammy's and socks and he's just doing all these hitting drills with his dad and fielding drills and his kid is in diapers. I'm not even kidding. And he's got like such fundamentally sounds. He's got like a Ken Griffy junior swing, and he's like catching ground balls and he's uh like he's O Marvis Gal.

00:41:39
Speaker 3: He's gonna be burned out by twelve.

00:41:41
Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly, that's so that's possible. I don't think it's weird to find joy and the greatest pastime now baseball is just so great and uh again World Baseball Classic. I was just looking at uh Dominican Republican Dominican Republic, Dominican Republic's lineup. Oh, they got a squad I think the third in power rank and they yo, it's it's gonna be fun to watch. Like I said, a sweet little appetizer. Consider it the spinach artichoke dip. Consider it the you know man buffalo chicken dip. Manby Ramirez's son is playing for Team Brazil, even though Manny is from the Dominican Republic, because his mom is Brazilian and the DR team is so stacked that he's like, oh, if I'm gonna play, I'll play for the Brazil team. So yeah, exactly, yeah, so he gets a chance to play for Brazil. So if you see me and Ramirez cheering on Brazil.

00:42:31
Speaker 3: That's why.

00:42:31
Speaker 2: And then that's who the US plays, right, Yes, in the opening round they win the booty Contest. We win the baseball Contest. I think that's how it goes, and it starts on Friday. Enjoy. We'll see you guys later. Until then, at covid O and Rich are even there, you baby, so you win the Promise Land
