Speaker 1: Welcome back to Bachelor Happy Hours Golden Hour. Thanks so much for joining us today. We are so excited to be back because we have very special guests. But first, sus in tummy, how are you doing, my dear, are you still praising your death?

00:00:19
Speaker 2: Excellent? I'm getting ready to leave the cold.

00:00:23
Speaker 1: And going to the islands. It's really been cold where you are.

00:00:27
Speaker 3: It was like nine degrees last night. It's the snow will not melt.

00:00:31
Speaker 1: It's like, can I tell you what my temperature here today is eighty five? Eighty five?

00:00:39
Speaker 2: All right, I'm going to the eighties.

00:00:42
Speaker 3: With that being said, we do have two very special guests. Actually they were my favorites from Bachelor in Paradise.

00:00:51
Speaker 2: Jess and Spencer are here with us today.

00:00:53
Speaker 4: Welcome guys, who.

00:00:57
Speaker 2: Finally get to chat.

00:01:00
Speaker 4: It's been a long time coming.

00:01:03
Speaker 1: There. I can't even First of all, you've matched perfectly your colors. You're blue? Was that purposely?

00:01:08
Speaker 4: Not even? Yeah, we didn't even plan that.

00:01:11
Speaker 5: That's just I'm actually how much of a match it is.

00:01:15
Speaker 1: I'm just telling you that they and you've got your two dogs there. I mean, you guys are just living the life, aren't you.

00:01:22
Speaker 4: We honestly are all right, there's so many.

00:01:27
Speaker 2: Questions we have.

00:01:28
Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, we're going to dive right in. We were going to do some small talk here, but honestly, you know me, I need answers, Jess, I need answer.

00:01:36
Speaker 4: I can't wait for you to just go down that checklist.

00:01:40
Speaker 1: First.

00:01:40
Speaker 2: First, start in Dallas proper. Are you in one of the suburbas.

00:01:46
Speaker 5: It's Dallas proper, like Greenville out?

00:01:52
Speaker 2: I lived in Arlington.

00:01:55
Speaker 1: Street, right, yeah, yeah, Greenville.

00:01:57
Speaker 5: Yeah.

00:01:58
Speaker 1: Okay, wait, I have a question. I want to know about the move. Let's back up. Talk to us about the move.

00:02:05
Speaker 4: At It was chaos.

00:02:07
Speaker 6: It was honestly a lot because not only did I have to move all of my things from San Diego, I like basically had to double move because his lease wasn't up. So they came and got all of my things and they were holding it in storage, and then I just loaded up everything I could fit my car and it was just kind of chilling in his little apartment for a little bit. And then at the beginning of January we finally moved into our new place together with all of our things and book our dogs. So it was it was a little bit of a double move for.

00:02:40
Speaker 1: Me, but are you in an apartment a house? Where are you actually living?

00:02:45
Speaker 7: Townhouse?

00:02:45
Speaker 6: Yeah, we're in a little townhouse. Actually it's not little. It's honestly huge. I get my steps in every single day now because we have flights of stairs.

00:02:53
Speaker 7: It's really ceiling. So that means to really.

00:02:56
Speaker 1: Buy it or rent it rent Okay, and her dog is going crazy right now.

00:03:02
Speaker 4: I'm so sorry.

00:03:04
Speaker 1: We can't hear a thing. But you know what I do, as I said before you came on. You know, with dogs, you can put them out in the backyard, lock them in a closet. Kids not so much.

00:03:12
Speaker 3: So he brought a dog to the relationship and he had a dog, right so now we have two now have to And how is that?

00:03:22
Speaker 5: It's it's been really good. I mean, she's very talkative right now. So I'm gonna go put her upstairs real quick.

00:03:31
Speaker 1: We can't hear.

00:03:32
Speaker 7: He's got to take over real quick.

00:03:35
Speaker 4: Okay, Oh my god, I'm so sorry.

00:03:36
Speaker 2: So did they get along right away?

00:03:39
Speaker 4: It's just the girls now they do.

00:03:42
Speaker 6: It was definitely a little bit of a learning curve because a dog, Charlie is used to other dogs like dogs and okay.

00:03:50
Speaker 1: Wait, wait, while he's gone. Wait while Spencer's gone, forget the dogs. We can get back to that when he goes back. What is it like living with them? What's his worst habit? Come on, give us good scooping you know what?

00:04:07
Speaker 4: He actually is so clean.

00:04:11
Speaker 6: I will say he has very stinky running shoes. Those downstairs, those those don't go in the upstairs closet.

00:04:17
Speaker 4: They stay downstairs. And he's so funny.

00:04:20
Speaker 6: He will like, I'll do the dishes and then he'll unload them, and then he'll leave the count doors open.

00:04:28
Speaker 4: Very interesting.

00:04:29
Speaker 6: It really doesn't bother me, but it's just been hilarious because.

00:04:32
Speaker 7: I'll walk in the access everything.

00:04:34
Speaker 4: Put up, and I know because the counts are.

00:04:37
Speaker 7: Open, cabinets, I'm putting things away.

00:04:42
Speaker 4: We're a little adhd around here.

00:04:44
Speaker 1: But so wait, I want to know what is the most Because when we were on Paradise and you know, you talked about movie that you were wanting to move in together pretty quickly, and I cannot tell everyone how what a fabulous couple you two are. You're just I'm so excited. But I want to know what is it like now? Uh, you're living together, you really are integrating your lives. What is it really, like it's.

00:05:13
Speaker 7: So much better than it was.

00:05:15
Speaker 5: Trying to figure out things apart and having distance is tough, and there was obviously a lot of logistics because two different states, and we had to figure out where we were going to meet. Would it be somewhere completely different, would I go San Diego, which you come to Dallas. And it was a lot of logistics to figure out, especially with lisas then on different dates and everything. So now they're finally here and we finally have furniture and everything, which was a whole other.

00:05:42
Speaker 6: And so fun to just like it sounds so boring, but it's been so fun to just be normal.

00:05:48
Speaker 7: It's made it very I haven't playing a house.

00:05:51
Speaker 4: Yeah, and also like I'm not gonna lie.

00:05:53
Speaker 6: I loved when we were going back and forth because like I loved showing him San Diego and he would show me Dallas. But how it's like I have my car here and I have my dog here, so it's like it's just so nice to like just be normal and like do normal things.

00:06:08
Speaker 4: Together and have our little routine. And yeah, it's just especially with all.

00:06:13
Speaker 7: The travel last year, I do not thrive without a routine, Like.

00:06:16
Speaker 4: I do not want to travel at all here.

00:06:19
Speaker 7: I'm like, I'm staying here. Whatever you'd like to do, that's totally fine. Home.

00:06:27
Speaker 2: What is Dallas's home for long term? Is that what you're thinking?

00:06:30
Speaker 6: Yes, I definitely think for at least well at least the next year for sure. But I honestly already love it. I think that Spence.

00:06:39
Speaker 4: Obviously loves it. He's been here for like a long time.

00:06:43
Speaker 7: We've twenty eleven.

00:06:46
Speaker 6: Yeah, so he's been here a while. And I mean I didn't have many doubts. I knew I would miss the beach, but all most of my family is in Tennessee, so I'm closer to get back home now.

00:07:00
Speaker 4: It's only positives for me, though.

00:07:02
Speaker 5: You have quite a bit of airline miles, so we want to go to the beach.

00:07:07
Speaker 7: We can fly the beach.

00:07:09
Speaker 1: Okay, I'm feeling really adhd here because I have so many questions. I got to back up for one second. Spencer, and I don't know if you've ever said this or if it even with tell vice, but I as you know, I adore both of you guys. But can you just tell We're going to get into your wedding plants and all that, But can you just tell everyone, and if you don't, I'm going to what you said about getting engaged to this beautiful woman about her dad, Do you remember what? Do you remember what you said?

00:07:42
Speaker 7: Yeah?

00:07:43
Speaker 5: So there were a lot of hoops I had to jump through to be able to speak to both of her parents. And it was really important to me that I talked to both her dad and mom about especially she's their only child, so and it was really big for me. So I told them, if they want an engagement on the show, they've got to let me talk to both that.

00:08:07
Speaker 2: I love that.

00:08:09
Speaker 6: Oh it Honestly, it meant so much to me too that he like he really wanted to talk to my dad.

00:08:15
Speaker 4: That was like his number one. But he knows how close I am with my mom too, so and I'm their baby girl, I'm their only cared so.

00:08:23
Speaker 6: It just like it it melted my heart a little that it was like he was like, if I don't get to talk to them, then I'm not doing it, Like sorry, baby, but.

00:08:29
Speaker 4: I'll do it later on.

00:08:30
Speaker 7: Well we'll do somewhere else.

00:08:32
Speaker 6: Yeah, Yeah, that's starting off on the bed foot.

00:08:35
Speaker 1: Cause Spencer, you had said we had talked about it, you had talked to a couple of different people about getting engaged and that after you said to me, and you were just so forthright, it just warmed my heart. You said, you know, there's no way I can't do it. I had you you told me after you talked to well.

00:08:54
Speaker 5: It was they for I mean, for a while it was looking like that wasn't going to be a possile building. There was a ton of logistics going on filming, and there were the competitions and all these things we had to work around. So it was actually I really appreciate them production being able to jump through some hoops, so I was able to do that because it really was like we were busy. There wasn't a lot of downtime, especially.

00:09:19
Speaker 4: Even like the night before it happened, we didn't even know. We were like, I don't even know if they're.

00:09:23
Speaker 6: Going to like give us some if they get engaged at this point, like.

00:09:27
Speaker 5: We had discussed it, but we're like, I don't know where the time is going to be for any of that. So we discussed it, but I don't know.

00:09:37
Speaker 1: I will tell you I was so bummed out. I said to the producers, what do I have to do? Like I'm going to hide out here because I want to see I'll hide behind a tree. I want to see them get engaged.

00:09:52
Speaker 7: That I told them it's not happening unless you were there.

00:09:57
Speaker 1: Well, listen, as long as I get BT to the wedding, I'll but I was, don't worry. Yeah, I was the best, the best.

00:10:06
Speaker 3: And I remember back when you were one hundred percent. You go, well, I don't know if I want to move.

00:10:12
Speaker 2: Remember, yes, I know you.

00:10:15
Speaker 4: Have to think great. Yeah, I was letting that little like devil on the shoulder test activity.

00:10:23
Speaker 6: And then I I actually got to talk to both my parents too the night before the engagement, and something that they said.

00:10:30
Speaker 4: To me that I like always.

00:10:31
Speaker 6: Love to tell the story because I was just letting my own my past like really come up and be like, you don't deserve this. It's too good to be true, Like don't do like you're rushing into it, like something's gonna happen all these things. And I was so scared also that like my parents were gonna be like, you're insane for this.

00:10:50
Speaker 1: You told me that, you told me that.

00:10:54
Speaker 4: Yeah, it's fine.

00:10:57
Speaker 6: But both of them and like I called them separately, like just so you all know, I called themsel Really they both said the exact same thing. They were like, we trust your instincts, and we trust what you feel. You're so in tune with your emotions and if you feel like this is your man and.

00:11:15
Speaker 4: This is what you want to do, then we support you.

00:11:18
Speaker 6: One like, they both have exact same response, and that was just like a oh my god, okay, yeah I'm doing this.

00:11:26
Speaker 4: Then we're good.

00:11:29
Speaker 1: And I love that they said that. You also said that to me when you told me what your parents had said, And I thought they must be amazing people to try, because I have to be honest or what you think? I'm not sure. Well, I'm a little crazy. How I would have what I would have what would have come out of this mouth if my daughter had called me and say, hey, I met this guy three weeks.

00:11:51
Speaker 8: Ago, and I was I was scared, honestly, I was like, Oh, I don't I think to be of your child there?

00:12:01
Speaker 7: I think you.

00:12:04
Speaker 1: Listen, if I met the right guy, I'd be engaged tomorrow.

00:12:08
Speaker 7: I was about to ask you about your man.

00:12:10
Speaker 1: Search We'll get to that. We'll get to that.

00:12:18
Speaker 3: While Jess was speaking just now, he couldn't take his eyes off of her.

00:12:22
Speaker 2: He looked at her just like on the show. I love this.

00:12:26
Speaker 1: No, it's so real. And I have to tell you. So, you guys that you live about three hours for me. You're in Dallas, I'm in Austin, and you guys came to Austin and I have to tell you it makes me cry. It was so nice to see you guys and see Susan. You're exactly right. The way they look at each other.

00:12:46
Speaker 2: Is it's it's real.

00:12:48
Speaker 1: My my belief. Susan. You and I've talked about this too. Lots of people get married, lots of people, but you guys are going to have that relationship for life that people wish they could find.

00:13:03
Speaker 7: It was so much fun visiting you too.

00:13:05
Speaker 5: We need an actual Austin trip, so we we went for the music festival. But I love Austin so much. Actually, when you guys were talking about staying put in Dallas, I don't know if either of us are, like, I have family here, I have friends here.

00:13:21
Speaker 7: I don't have super around a ton.

00:13:24
Speaker 6: You just say the word, we can go wherever. I'm down to experience anywhere. Let's just do it.

00:13:28
Speaker 1: Hey, Listen, you can come and live in my house and I'll go travel. You could just come and stay in my house, bring the dogs. I have two cats. It'll be okay.

00:13:38
Speaker 7: I'll figure it out.

00:13:39
Speaker 2: Meeting all his friends, jes you like everybody.

00:13:42
Speaker 6: Oh my gosh, I love one thing, and like I never thought of it, Like I don't know if it was just something that I hadn't noticed, but I was asked a question by someone like, oh, do you like all of Spinster's friends?

00:13:56
Speaker 4: And I'm like, oh, I love them.

00:13:57
Speaker 6: He has like these two guy best friends and they just have the most amazing wives, and they're so sweet and they brought they.

00:14:05
Speaker 1: Wait, did you say lives or why I'm sorry, the southern accent is coming out.

00:14:11
Speaker 4: Wives.

00:14:12
Speaker 6: Yes, they just welcome me in with open arms and they're so sweet.

00:14:17
Speaker 4: But something that stood out is like.

00:14:19
Speaker 6: He is so nice to everyone, Like this is the kindest man I've ever met, but he is very particular on who he actually calls a friend, Like he has standards, and I honestly love that, like, of course, be friendly.

00:14:34
Speaker 4: With everyone and be nice to everyone.

00:14:36
Speaker 6: But it's almost a little questionable, like, oh, you have all these millions of best friends, Like why you can't.

00:14:43
Speaker 4: Get super close to him?

00:14:44
Speaker 5: Many best friends I have, Like, I don't have agree of my the people I spend time with. My primary love language is quality times. If I'm spending time with someone, that's my way of showing them I care about them.

00:14:58
Speaker 7: And there's I.

00:15:00
Speaker 4: Stuck that he was picky about who he spent his time with. I don't know, Spencer, Did.

00:15:05
Speaker 1: You grow up in Dallas? Now I'm confused.

00:15:08
Speaker 5: No, no, no, no. I grew up in Utah. So I was born Wyoming, grew up in Utah. Was going to actually play football at the University of Utah, and my mom had gotten a new job in Dallas, and she brought my football film up.

00:15:22
Speaker 7: To the SMU offices.

00:15:24
Speaker 4: He's got me.

00:15:26
Speaker 7: They were like, oh, yeah, we have fun on the team for him.

00:15:29
Speaker 5: Then she flew me here and I was like, wow, Dallas is beautiful and there's no horses and expecting there and to be like people riding horses around his a motive transportation and that wasn't it at all. So in Fort Worth, Dallas is veryckyard. Yeah, it's.

00:15:53
Speaker 6: I feel It's one thing that I've had to get used to is like in San Diego, I feel like I could just walk around kind of looking like a bomb all the time, whereas here, like everyone's always so put together and like looks great, and I'm like, okay, wow, I need to like go get some cuter outfits or something like.

00:16:08
Speaker 7: I don't know what's so she did? Oh I did that prize money?

00:16:12
Speaker 1: Of course I did. Well, now we're talking about prize money. What else do we spend that prize money on?

00:16:19
Speaker 5: A lot of it went into savings good dad, like student loan, dead and stuff. And then when we moved into the new townhouse, we didn't really have any furniture because all my furniture was for a smaller one bedroom apartment. All of her furniture got left in San Diego.

00:16:41
Speaker 1: I gave it away.

00:16:42
Speaker 7: We had to.

00:16:42
Speaker 5: We've been we've been thrifty though we've been on Facebook Marketplace. I left the decision to buy the coffee table right there.

00:16:52
Speaker 7: Had the best.

00:16:55
Speaker 5: Three hundred twenty pounds and me and my friend had to lift it up a whole lot of stairs. On Facebook Marketplace.

00:17:03
Speaker 1: There there's great deals on that. So when we you remember when we were doing interviews about Keith and I were asking in Paradise, if you won the money, what would you spend it on and again everyone needs to hear us. You two unequivocally had the best answer. You said, we would put a lot in savings. I mean, as a mom, it spoke to me, you said, we'll put some in savings. We want to. I don't remember you saying that, but I'm sure you did. But the other thing you said is, you know, when we get married, we want to be able to put money down and have a house. And it's just you guys seemed so.

00:17:45
Speaker 4: Definitely for people.

00:17:47
Speaker 2: Let's talk about that.

00:17:49
Speaker 7: Yeah, so let take it away.

00:17:55
Speaker 6: We actually just had this conversation like a few nights ago, so we haven't started any planning yet. I think one thing that we we at first, we were like, okay, when it's been a year, maybe we revisit and start planning then. But our biggest thing is like we just kind of want to take time and like live life normally. I think that a lot of people forget. We had to be hidden and also live separately for a couple of months, so we lost out on a lot of time in hiding and then also waiting to actually move in together.

00:18:29
Speaker 7: Yeah, we've only been living here for.

00:18:31
Speaker 4: A month, literally one month limit kidding so.

00:18:35
Speaker 7: A month and a week.

00:18:36
Speaker 6: So we were like, ok so May's coming up real quick and it's going to be here.

00:18:43
Speaker 5: We're like, let's like, it's still so fresh that we're here, so when May comes around, it could very well be oh my gosh. Okay, yeah, let's start planning, but rush.

00:18:55
Speaker 1: Together, enjoy your time.

00:18:59
Speaker 7: Together and love.

00:19:00
Speaker 5: She has made this house so homey and so comfortable.

00:19:09
Speaker 1: Yeah, Spencer, I'm telling you, where the hell is your uncle? I want him.

00:19:15
Speaker 7: I got a couple of them.

00:19:18
Speaker 2: But they might not take after him.

00:19:20
Speaker 1: Kat was his family.

00:19:24
Speaker 4: His family.

00:19:25
Speaker 7: Yeah, and we made it through.

00:19:27
Speaker 5: I think, like obviously, every relationship has stressors, and it was a lot of pressure on us individually, us as a couple with the move, like her literally giving up her whole life, that everything she's own in San Diego, all those ties she had there to come to this brand new place that she's never been before.

00:19:49
Speaker 1: Yeah. But you know what, Spencer, because she came for you. It was nothing.

00:19:57
Speaker 7: And we made it through. Picking furniture we did.

00:20:02
Speaker 6: It's so funny, like the amount of dms that I get that are like, do you and Spencer ever?

00:20:07
Speaker 1: Are you?

00:20:07
Speaker 4: I want to be like, Yeah, it took us like four weeks. Did it's not on a rug?

00:20:11
Speaker 5: That rug, that brown rug. That thing took a couple of weeks to find.

00:20:18
Speaker 4: I we like made a joke. I think I commented on.

00:20:21
Speaker 6: An Instagram post or something. I'm like, we literally like almost.

00:20:25
Speaker 4: Broke up over a rug. Not actually so I'm going to be the next bachelor.

00:20:29
Speaker 7: Headline say that the Facebook pages.

00:20:34
Speaker 4: No, but it's been like, actually, I'm being so sorry.

00:20:37
Speaker 5: So many, so many big live hurdles that we've gone through and done really, really really well with. I'm really proud of us and where we are now, and it's like so nice to actually finally be in our home.

00:20:53
Speaker 7: We're moved in.

00:20:54
Speaker 1: We found it. I want to know who found this home?

00:20:59
Speaker 7: Was it? I wonder you found it?

00:21:02
Speaker 4: Was definitely me? Sure it was definitely mean.

00:21:07
Speaker 7: Yea where I found a realtor that found it. So okay, Now our realtor found this one and who found him?

00:21:15
Speaker 2: Found them different?

00:21:18
Speaker 1: Oh you did you did fight.

00:21:23
Speaker 2: She looked at it first? Or did you go together to look at it?

00:21:27
Speaker 4: We went together?

00:21:27
Speaker 7: This one, we went together.

00:21:29
Speaker 5: There was a couple when she was still in San Diego that I went and toured and I would take a video and everything.

00:21:34
Speaker 7: This one we actually got seat together.

00:21:36
Speaker 4: I'm also so weird. There was one.

00:21:38
Speaker 6: There was a lot of ones we looked at that were great and he really liked. And then I would walk in and I'm like, the vibe is off, like I'm so feeling it's just something okay.

00:21:49
Speaker 1: So let me real quickly. That is so true. When I bought the house that I'm in and my my husband's alive, we bought it together. My realtor called me and said, it's just came on the market if you can be over there. So I left work literally and and came over here. It was like fifteen minutes from work, and I walked in. It was like miracle on thirty four Street. I called that and I said, he said, I haven't left it. I'm in a meeting. I said, you don't have to bother coming. We're buying it. I said, you can look at it if you want, but we're buying.

00:22:19
Speaker 7: I will say.

00:22:20
Speaker 5: When we walked in this one, initially I was like, I don't think so I don't like it very much.

00:22:25
Speaker 4: Because she loved it.

00:22:28
Speaker 7: Okay, we'll move in.

00:22:29
Speaker 5: And I am so happy that I listened to her on that one because it's been perfect.

00:22:33
Speaker 2: What did you like when you walked in?

00:22:36
Speaker 6: I think that, honestly, I think that.

00:22:41
Speaker 4: Yeah, he didn't. What didn't you like? I don't remember.

00:22:44
Speaker 6: It was something like very He just there was one that we fell in love with, but it was like way too early to sign a lease when we found it, and so I think we did both. We compared everything to that first one. Yeah, And he's like, I don't know, and I'm like, we have like two weeks left before we need a place, so you're stressing me out.

00:23:05
Speaker 1: How many bedrooms do you guys have?

00:23:08
Speaker 7: Just too it's with an office, so well.

00:23:11
Speaker 1: As long as there's more than one, I'm coming.

00:23:14
Speaker 7: You have a guest bedroom already, then you're coming.

00:23:16
Speaker 1: To see, like we can share bed We haven't many.

00:23:22
Speaker 7: Rooms?

00:23:22
Speaker 2: Yeah, it is.

00:23:23
Speaker 3: They're nine years I lived there, and I really love that.

00:23:27
Speaker 2: The people are so great. They are kind.

00:23:31
Speaker 3: When you get off the plane in the back in Jersey or in New York or Philly, it's like yo.

00:23:36
Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, wait, so who does the cooking? Tell me how you divide the divide and conquer the chores? How does it work over there?

00:23:45
Speaker 6: He actually is both good cooks but he's a he's a better cook than me.

00:23:50
Speaker 5: Honestly, I don't know if it's better worse. I just cook more, does a lot, So I cook a lot.

00:23:56
Speaker 4: He does in particular about his like he weighs all this stuff.

00:24:01
Speaker 7: Well, I'm cutting weight right now, I'm going to cut what's that you're ready for? God? Get ready for the summer. So I'm.

00:24:10
Speaker 4: And I'm like, I don't know, like just what you just do it?

00:24:13
Speaker 7: I don't know.

00:24:13
Speaker 4: I don't know what you need.

00:24:14
Speaker 1: I don't know what's your big thing. What's your favorite meal to cook? Spencer? What's your what's your you know, if what's your meal to impress?

00:24:23
Speaker 5: So I apparently have now learned that two things. One I make a lot of the same meals, and two I make a lot of bowls of just like stuff like potatoes and eggs and steak just in a bowl.

00:24:41
Speaker 2: Yeah, you don't have a nice big steak.

00:24:44
Speaker 1: You don't have your chicken with you.

00:24:50
Speaker 6: The size of bowl that he uses is like what you would use a salad bowl.

00:24:55
Speaker 4: Yes, Like I'm not kidding, I'm like, what is happening? I'm he yeah, I love you.

00:25:03
Speaker 3: As far as finding groceries compared to California.

00:25:08
Speaker 2: Oh my god, different, isn't it?

00:25:10
Speaker 4: Everything here is also so cheap. I'm like, this is crazy.

00:25:16
Speaker 7: She's like a.

00:25:19
Speaker 4: Two dollars instead of seven.

00:25:21
Speaker 7: I had so much more of my paycheck.

00:25:22
Speaker 1: Yeah, welcome to Texas, y'all. That is so funny. So you you guys, we got to get back to wedding talk here. Do you I know you haven't planned anything, but Jess, I got to ask you, do you even have an idea of what you want your dress to be? Like?

00:25:43
Speaker 4: You know, I do not. I don't have an eye.

00:25:46
Speaker 6: I know that there's specific things that like, I definitely like you know these this whole area right here.

00:25:52
Speaker 4: I want that hidden. So I don't know what kind of dress.

00:25:56
Speaker 1: Wait, y'all can't see what Jess just did. What she pointed to was like the little area by your upper arm and shoulder, and I buy that.

00:26:08
Speaker 4: Stand over the tank top?

00:26:10
Speaker 1: Huh by that standard, Susan, You and I need to wear paper bags that started our neck and cover it right down to our feet.

00:26:17
Speaker 4: Speak for yourself.

00:26:18
Speaker 2: I'm always hot. I need next to.

00:26:23
Speaker 6: That is just And also I will say this too, so this is very specific as well that I definitely will be happening at our wedding. So you know, typically, like if you're looking at the bride and groom like you're in the audience, the bride is usually on the left.

00:26:41
Speaker 4: Can you believe you're staying this? We're switching that.

00:26:45
Speaker 2: I do weddings on my left side. I do weddings, as you know.

00:26:49
Speaker 3: And one couple said, no, no, no, I would be we can't see him.

00:26:54
Speaker 2: I want to see him the.

00:26:55
Speaker 3: Groom side, so they sat on the opposite side. I think it's a brilliant idea.

00:27:00
Speaker 1: I know that's not what she's saying. She's gonna stand on them.

00:27:03
Speaker 4: I'm gonna stand on the right dad.

00:27:06
Speaker 7: Side.

00:27:07
Speaker 6: Yeah, I was like, I am not going to settle for hating every single one of my wedding pictures because my right side is the one that she allowed.

00:27:16
Speaker 4: So we're switching it.

00:27:18
Speaker 3: Okay, were a bridal party? Do you want a big, huge wedding or like really popular right now? Is not even having anybody?

00:27:26
Speaker 7: We have talked about that too.

00:27:27
Speaker 5: We're like, do we want to do uh more intimate like destination wedding or the fuck with everyone? We're definitely going to have to do something close to Tennessee for her Maandma Madma.

00:27:42
Speaker 6: Yeah, she doesn't fly and she'll she'll be She's fine on a longer drive. But also, like I just think it would be so pre I'm from upper East Tennessee, so it's.

00:27:52
Speaker 4: Like mountains and it's so well, we'll most likely do Tennessee, but I don't know. We're still We're still open.

00:28:08
Speaker 1: I have a very important question. Two things. You know, how wedding parties, Like the new thing is to not have a wedding party. That's that's a new trend. So but here's my question. Those two pups of yours have to be in the wedding.

00:28:25
Speaker 4: They will be.

00:28:26
Speaker 7: They will.

00:28:27
Speaker 1: My daughter had there her dog.

00:28:29
Speaker 5: That's also my business, so I'm in the pet business. Yeah, that's bad for business if we don't have pets.

00:28:36
Speaker 6: Like I already thought about, Like we're gonna hire a dog sitter or.

00:28:42
Speaker 4: Be there for the ceremony.

00:28:44
Speaker 1: Yeah, wait, aren't the dogs going to be at the ceremony?

00:28:50
Speaker 4: Well yes, yes, my.

00:28:53
Speaker 1: Son in law's boxer. They haveing a boxer together. The dog literally walked up the aisle with a handler.

00:28:59
Speaker 4: Oh that's amazing.

00:29:00
Speaker 5: I don't know if I could train Rude to do that she's pretty fine, she's smart.

00:29:06
Speaker 3: I have a wedding coming in late August and northern California. It's two women and they're dogs. They each have a dog and they're the ring barriers. Both dogs are bringing up a ring.

00:29:17
Speaker 2: I go, are you serious? Do you trust them?

00:29:20
Speaker 5: I see the one thing I am worried about to her finding enough bridesmaids to match?

00:29:27
Speaker 7: How many are you.

00:29:30
Speaker 2: Don't have any?

00:29:31
Speaker 5: Between me? It's me and my three brothers. So there's four of us and then at least three three or four friends for sure that are going to and.

00:29:41
Speaker 6: I have no siblings, but that's okay. I have I have my best friends, and I have plenty of cousins.

00:29:47
Speaker 1: So so wait, would you have who are your best friends from Bachelor? Would any of those people be in a wedding party?

00:29:53
Speaker 7: Oh? Wedding?

00:29:55
Speaker 4: Leah? Yeah?

00:29:58
Speaker 2: Do you keep in touch with anyone?

00:30:00
Speaker 7: L sort?

00:30:02
Speaker 1: Yeah?

00:30:02
Speaker 5: We keep in touch with like Alex and Andrew. Yeah, we talked to pretty frequently.

00:30:07
Speaker 4: I talked to Jonathan Leah is my girl. I talked to Caitlin from my season. I talked to Lexi from also from my season.

00:30:14
Speaker 5: And Katie we'll talk to yeah, because they're really cool. Actually, that's why we need to visit Austin.

00:30:19
Speaker 1: No, no, no, you need to visit Austin for me and Zack and Katie and.

00:30:23
Speaker 5: Then my one of my best friends. So outside of my two best friends that live here, my other best friend was on Hannah Brown season long time ago, so we were friends before he was on the show or I was on the show.

00:30:38
Speaker 7: But so I guess technically that counts.

00:30:41
Speaker 1: But yeah, yeah, wow, that's amazing.

00:30:46
Speaker 3: So what do you hope twenty twenty six brings.

00:30:52
Speaker 7: I have a lot of hopes for twenty twenty six? What about you, babe?

00:30:56
Speaker 6: Honestly, just like, well, when it comes to us together, just like our growth as a couple, and I think also like I'm just so excited to spend all the different things together, like like our first birthdays together, and just like I am such a like memory person, like I love making memories and engs and yeah, trude new traditions, like all things. And also like we want to visit a couple of new places this year.

00:31:25
Speaker 5: Later in the year, god, finally, lucky with we have some flights we have to use before the end of the year.

00:31:33
Speaker 7: Yes, I think will be.

00:31:35
Speaker 1: Where you go on adventures. Where are you're going? You know?

00:31:39
Speaker 5: Well, well one of them is a surprise, because we are surprising our moms.

00:31:45
Speaker 1: Our moms on we can't I love to sleep on and then work. Do your moms know that they're being surprised?

00:31:56
Speaker 4: They know that they know that they're going on a trip.

00:31:59
Speaker 7: They don't know where they're going.

00:32:00
Speaker 1: Were moms know each other?

00:32:01
Speaker 6: Now they haven't men person yet, unfortunately, but on FaceTime plenty of times.

00:32:09
Speaker 2: They want to know each other. The dad's home, No, dad's allowed.

00:32:15
Speaker 4: Well, both of our parents are divorced.

00:32:17
Speaker 3: Okay, you have to do Yeah, it's going to say Spence and three women.

00:32:22
Speaker 5: It wouldn't be uh, it'd be a little awkward with yeah, never mind and so yeah that and then we we've looked at.

00:32:32
Speaker 7: Either Greece, yeah, or Italy soul. Yeah soul.

00:32:38
Speaker 6: We have some big we just have to sit down and actually plant it. But we're gonna go on some adventures this year.

Speaker 1: Yes, yeah, we're going to be We're going to be so fun.

00:32:53
Speaker 4: I'm actually going to be on that.

00:32:55
Speaker 3: So you expect us to work.

00:32:59
Speaker 2: I don't see how.

00:33:02
Speaker 5: I was telling her that yet, I was like, yeah, I can't wait for the cruise. I'm gonna like hang out the guys. He's like, you're gonna be working. I'm like, I'm gonna be working out.

00:33:13
Speaker 2: They're gonna be late for work.

00:33:15
Speaker 7: Yeah, I'm gonna be calling work.

00:33:18
Speaker 1: No, Spencer, you're gonna be calling. Here's this gonna be Spencer. Okay, everyone listen up w N five. He's gonna buy. That's gonna be Spencer.

00:33:31
Speaker 5: Will be fun because one of the bigger things we have planned is the Chicago Marathon.

00:33:38
Speaker 6: Because then he and I'll be there with the sign Yeah a minute, I.

00:33:43
Speaker 5: Saw your running Yeah for autism Speaks. So that'll be really really fun.

00:33:48
Speaker 1: Are you a marathon runner, Spencer?

00:33:50
Speaker 5: Oh yeah, Actually it's the Ultra marathons. So a fifty in Arizona.

00:33:57
Speaker 2: Wow.

00:33:58
Speaker 7: Yeah.

00:33:59
Speaker 2: I would follow him in the car, yes, with some water.

00:34:02
Speaker 4: Yeah. Yeah, I'm gonna be the parts.

00:34:04
Speaker 1: But didn't you start running?

00:34:06
Speaker 7: Yes?

00:34:07
Speaker 4: Oh I did?

00:34:08
Speaker 6: Okay, so that actually is so the only time I ever ran is I cheered in high school and so we would have to condition in the summer.

00:34:17
Speaker 4: But like we would run around the.

00:34:18
Speaker 6: Track a couple of times like maybe go a mile and likest.

00:34:24
Speaker 7: We had our first track run on Thursday, was well because he.

00:34:28
Speaker 6: Goes all the time, like literally, y'all. On Saturday he set an alarm for what was it four or five?

00:34:34
Speaker 4: It was four am.

00:34:35
Speaker 6: He set an alarm because his friends were our training for a different race and he wanted to go get some miles in with them, and he just ran a casual fifteen miles.

00:34:44
Speaker 4: On were raining for fun to go hang out with the boys.

00:34:47
Speaker 7: Seventeen seventeen.

00:34:49
Speaker 1: My bad, my bad, But do you remember at the beach, Spencer you I was always on the beach working out, and you would it's Spencer, you are a Every.

00:35:00
Speaker 4: Morning he would run and I'd be the last.

00:35:02
Speaker 5: Actually nothing. I'm sorry for all the podcast listeners here. Kathy liked to go on walks and not tell anyone she was leaving. Disappeared for like three hours. So one morning production came up to me and goes, we can't find Kathy. We know you like to run. Do you go run and find her? Know where she is? So I'm running up the beach looking for Kathy. She was five miles down the beach, live mile.

00:35:33
Speaker 2: That's her every day walk.

00:35:35
Speaker 1: Her walk five miles every day, and I'm well aware. I didn't know I was getting it into trouble. And then and then you guys would go off and run and I was like, you know me, like what's fair? And I was like, wait a minute, Spencer's going out and Rende said, well, you know they're safe and they're training, and I was like, what am I doing, chop liver? So yeah, you're right, you and you found Hey.

00:36:01
Speaker 5: The thing is you're much more valuable to the show than me, so day they have to keep you safe. So I was retrieved.

00:36:10
Speaker 7: Kay.

00:36:11
Speaker 6: I never knew any of this was going on because I was the last reason to show up every.

00:36:15
Speaker 1: Single morning, like, oh, I know.

00:36:17
Speaker 6: I would be laying in bed until they were like, Jess, everyone is out there except you get off to go, and I'm like, damn it.

00:36:25
Speaker 1: And let me just say Jess wakes up, rolls out of bed and looks as beautiful as she does right now.

00:36:32
Speaker 7: Yeah, lucky you.

00:36:34
Speaker 1: All right? Wait, I have to ask, speaking of Paradise, perfect segue here, what's something you'd love to see happen at the beach next season? I would love to know? And is there anyone besides Kathy here, who should get another shot at Paradise?

00:36:49
Speaker 5: First off, Kathy and I think bring Keith back to We need to bring Keith, I was about to say. And then I would love for my man, Jonathan's people go on there and find someone. Yeah, Jonathan's a really good guy. And I think that it.

00:37:05
Speaker 7: Might just not have been the right you know what to see happen. She wants drama, what do you want?

00:37:10
Speaker 6: No, no, no, no, not true. I would like to see us show back up and give some couple advice.

00:37:18
Speaker 2: Yes, you know what. I think that's a great idea.

00:37:22
Speaker 1: I think it's a great but I think it's a great idea. I think it's a great idea.

00:37:29
Speaker 3: Do you think with the new twist with all the money and I'm shocked.

00:37:33
Speaker 5: I will say, I don't know how they replicate last season again.

00:37:40
Speaker 7: This season because I think that people talk to us. He had no clue, and I do think people would go on.

00:37:48
Speaker 5: For difficult it would get to know each other right now and lie about it and go on to win.

00:37:54
Speaker 7: So I think it would be.

00:37:57
Speaker 6: One and done, be done at least like one, and then maybe do it again in a couple of years when no one Yeah.

00:38:05
Speaker 7: Yeah, I just think it'd be tough.

00:38:06
Speaker 5: I think that I think we got really lucky with the cast we had and the people there, because with all the money being introduced, they could have gone a totally different direction, I think.

00:38:20
Speaker 7: And yeah, no, I'm just I was really happy to be obviously.

00:38:24
Speaker 1: Yeah. You know, Keith I promised me he'd send me a quick fifty if we didn't go for the money. And I'm still waiting. Man, that's a joke. Now that's going to be the headline. That's a joke.

00:38:35
Speaker 4: Ye going to be on Facebook?

00:38:38
Speaker 1: Okay, way, question, Wait, I have one more question about Paradise. Tell me about Dale and Kat break.

00:38:45
Speaker 2: What you've read my mind?

00:38:47
Speaker 1: Sorry, so sorry, Oh look, all of a sudden, I got quiet.

00:38:53
Speaker 6: Well you know what, I was here Dallas, we got all the tea just a couple of weeks. We mean, yeah, and you know what, I think that, Like, obviously there's two sides to every story, but I just think at the end of the day, like there wasn't time being made for the relationship on Dale's side, and so I think that, you know, Oh you mean.

00:39:24
Speaker 1: Wait, I'm sorry, after Paradise.

00:39:26
Speaker 4: You're talking about Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, Wait.

00:39:29
Speaker 1: No, no, no, I know, I'm I just when you said time for the relationship, I didn't know if you meant pre you mean the fact.

00:39:38
Speaker 6: I just think that like he and there's you know, a lot more of opinions that I have, But I'm going to keep him to myself in that matter because I just I don't want to be involved in the drama.

00:39:48
Speaker 4: But I want what's best for Cat.

00:39:50
Speaker 6: She wasn't being treated the way that she deserved and like, don't settle.

00:39:58
Speaker 4: Yeah, I just think that, like, yeah, he just he wasn't putting.

00:40:02
Speaker 6: Time and effort in fair enough relationship. And like it it's hard. You have to be able to do that. I mean, take it from us, Like we were living in two different places. We both have full time jobs like along with like our relationship and doing trying to do influencing, Like there's so many different things, and like if you're not able to put time into someone, it's not.

00:40:25
Speaker 4: Gonna work out.

00:40:26
Speaker 3: All right, That does it for today's episode, but we'll be back for part two with Jesson Spencer later this week.
