00:00:00 Speaker 1: You are listening to The Dan Patrick Show on Fox Sports Radio Hour two. 00:00:05 Speaker 2: On this Wednesday, Dan and the dan ET's Dan Patrick Show come on in stay awhile, Good morning. If you're watching on Peacock, our streaming partner and our radio affiliates around the country, numbering over four hundred cities that carry this award nominated program. Last day for Flaca Flaco Round and find Out T shirt at Danpatrick dot com. It's been a big hit, surprising hit, maybe not as big as Passhole with the Fritzy's tribute that T shirt that did. 00:00:37 Speaker 3: Is that a contest? 00:00:39 Speaker 4: Yeah? 00:00:39 Speaker 2: Did you just challenge the those getting a Flaco Round and find Out T shirt? 00:00:44 Speaker 5: Yeah? 00:00:45 Speaker 2: Yeah, but you can't get the Passhole t shirts anymore. That was a short run as well. But you can go to Danapatrick dot com. It's the last day stat of the day. Roddy do you buy? 00:00:57 Speaker 3: I think we're breaking up a little. Yeah, somebody reset the serve. 00:01:00 Speaker 2: Stat of the Day brought to you by Panini America, the official trading cards of the Dan Patrick Show. Well what happens during the commercial break? I tried to grab something to eat. Well, I happened to grab something to eat and put a little hot sauce on it. And the hot sauce is reminding me not to put hot sauce on something while you're doing a radio show. Yes, it was todd It was strategic and I'm trying to get some water here, wash it down a little bit. 00:01:26 Speaker 3: Yes, Seaton, what hot sauce did you go with? 00:01:28 Speaker 6: You go with the little Frank's red hot, something a little more spicy, something we're in the vinegar family. 00:01:33 Speaker 3: I went with Louisiana Hot sauce. 00:01:35 Speaker 2: Yea, And there was more out of the bottle, and I thought, Okay, then more people have tried this where there was another one in there and nobody had tried that one. I'll go, I'm not trying that one. So I tried a little hot, hot sauce and it's disagreeing with me right now. 00:01:53 Speaker 3: Yes, Paul, you. 00:01:53 Speaker 7: Guys put hot sauce on like a lot of stuff, Eggs, pizza, just about everything. 00:01:58 Speaker 3: Not pizza, eggs, Yeah, definitely eggs, big hot sauce on eggs. 00:02:03 Speaker 5: Yeah. 00:02:04 Speaker 3: What else? 00:02:04 Speaker 7: What's a rando pasta? 00:02:07 Speaker 3: No? 00:02:07 Speaker 8: No? 00:02:09 Speaker 3: Mmmm? Steak yeah, steak yeah, yeah. 00:02:17 Speaker 2: I mean I don't I it's probably just for eggs, but uh yeah, I got reminded not to do that. It's tough to grab something to eat, and then you come back and you may have something in your teeth. I remember one time, I think my my youngest sister said you got something hanging from your mouth. 00:02:36 Speaker 3: I didn't know it. I'm on the air and I'm like, oh, so you're like, uh ohoops. 00:02:41 Speaker 2: But hey, it's live, it's not scripted, and uh, well, hot sauce, yeah, hot. 00:02:48 Speaker 9: Literally showing how the sausage is being made in your teeth. 00:02:51 Speaker 3: Thank you, Tom, it's sauce, all right. Seat, Uh whole question, Get me out of this please. Yeah, I know this is a real show. This is what we do for a living. Yeah. 00:03:04 Speaker 6: We have up there for whom is tonight's game? More must winness right now? The Dodgers have about fifty four percent of that vote. We also put up there, who are you rooting for in this series? Blue Jays are Dodgers, And we did that on October twenty second. We did that same pole question and sixty nine percent of the audience we're rooting for the Blue Jays. 00:03:24 Speaker 2: Yeah, I get that. I could understand. You know, it's regionalized with California. I think there's three other states that there was some Pole survey that said they'd be rooting for the Dodgers. And you got Canada, although you have Japan rooting for and you start to think about these TV markets. I think there were pretty impressive numbers maybe six million viewers in Canada for the Blue Jays. So you get that, and you're also going to get the United States, and you're going to get Japan as well, so you're it's truly a world series when you think about it. You've got Canada, You've got you know, United States, you got Japan as well in there with show Heyo Tani and you might not you might not see maybe the revenue from that. I'm not a you know, TV ratings guy, but this feels bigger because you're talking about, you know, globally certainly with show Heyo Tani, and then you get the Canadian market as well. I don't know if the East Coast is all in on this or Midwest is all in on this, but you know it's a it's a pretty good reach, a global reach eight seven seven three DP show email address dpat Danpatrick dot com, Twitter handle at DP show. So the Blue Jays handled the Dodgers six', two tying the series of two games, apiece and they go back at it tonight, again and then you'll have a day off for, travel and then it resumes On friday, night and if you get to a game seven concludes On. 00:05:02 Speaker 3: Saturday, Yes. 00:05:03 Speaker 7: Paulin according to a couple different, Places Front Office sports said That games one and two average ten point seven million viewers In, japan the most Viewed World series games ever in the Country japan six point eight million In, canada the most Viewed Blue jay game, ever regular season or. 00:05:21 Speaker 5: Postseason. 00:05:22 Speaker 2: Yeah once, AGAIN i don't know how you monetize, that but but you are getting your. Product you, know you're reaching different. Markets it seems like this would be a positive for baseball that you're selling it. 00:05:34 Speaker 3: Globally it's being consumed. 00:05:36 Speaker 2: Globally, now If showhy is not in there next, year you know what kind of reach are you? 00:05:43 Speaker 3: Getting oh, sorry, yeah, yeah you want him in there every. 00:05:47 Speaker 2: Year and even With, canada with The Blue, JAYS i mean IT'S i always loved going To montreal and there's a there's a documentary out about The, expos like Who killed The? Expo and you, know it's a shame that they don't have baseball. There every TIME i went To toronto for Those World series, games great, crowds you, know the atmosphere was, wonderful And montreal was the same. Way montreal had as much talent going through their farm system and their teams as any team in. Baseball there was like a fifteen year period where it was, man The expos got that guy or they got that. 00:06:27 Speaker 3: Guy it was. 00:06:28 Speaker 2: Loaded and when you think About Rock, Rains Andre, Dawson Randy johnson before he Became Randy, Johnson. 00:06:38 Speaker 10: Gary, Carter, Yes, marv didn't The expos have the best record in baseball during the? 00:06:43 Speaker 3: Strike that was ninety? 00:06:44 Speaker 2: Four and then because they might have won The World series that, year didn't they Have Steve? 00:06:51 Speaker 3: Rodgers wasn't either ace in nineteen ninety? Four that's, right two years in a. 00:06:55 Speaker 2: Row, YEAH i loved going To montreal to WATCH i remember going up there to watch The mets play and uh JUST i appreciated the atmosphere. There but they needed a new. Stadium and there's a DOCUMENTARY i think it's Called Who killed The? Expos, Yes, marvin was. 00:07:11 Speaker 10: It a Young pedro on The? Expos, yeah that's almost like oh tiny on The. Angels, yeah people will forget that. Completely Larry, Walker Vlad Guerrero. Senior a lot of, Talent, yes a lot of. Talent, Uh BUT i enjoyed the atmosphere, there and, uh you, know maybe they get a baseball team. 00:07:32 Speaker 3: AGAIN i like THE. 00:07:33 Speaker 2: EXPOSA i love the uniforms. TOO i remember seeing somebody who is It Gordon? Levitt is he the Actor Joseph Gordon? 00:07:43 Speaker 3: Levitt, yes, YEAH i was. 00:07:45 Speaker 2: On a plane with. Him he had AN expos hat on and it seemed just kind of. Random BUT i, go all, right AND i did. IT i, said, HEY i love the. Hat he, goes. YEAH i don't think he knew what the significance of. It it just looked kind of hip and he had an but at AN expos hat. 00:08:04 Speaker 3: ON i, MEAN i don't know if. 00:08:05 Speaker 2: He's From montreal or any you, know he has baseball in his family or, something but just seemed like a Random all, Right i'm gonna give you a little tip of the. 00:08:14 Speaker 3: Cap, yes mor of. 00:08:15 Speaker 5: It as AN expos hat. 00:08:17 Speaker 10: Owner it's about the, style, like, oh oh you missed the expos, SURE. 00:08:23 Speaker 3: I MEAN i miss seeing this logo a lot. More, yes, yeah. 00:08:28 Speaker 7: Yeah Pub going back To japan and The World series that h eighteen and in game In japan that was right in the middle of the. Day that game started at nine to fifteen in the morning In. Japan it edited at three point thirty in the, afternoon so everyone around there got to see. 00:08:43 Speaker 3: IT i wonder how many people didn't go to work that. 00:08:46 Speaker 7: DAY i saw a report that they were broadcasting in schools and letting. Kids, Yeah i'm, serious there's photos ON cnn about kids in schools In japan got to Watch. 00:08:55 Speaker 2: OTANI i would still love to have an Afternoon there should be One World series game in the, afternoon and maybe when we get the commissioner on see can we make it a? Holiday can we do? That how about we have an Afternoon World series? Game AND i know they've talked about revenue and THE tv you, know all that. STUFF i get, that but not everything has to be about the. Money it, SHOULDN'T i. Know, RELAX i. Know here's another. ONE i mentioned this a while, ago a couple of years, ago that the goal for THESE tv executives was to bring you closer to the. 00:09:35 Speaker 3: Action if you weren't. 00:09:36 Speaker 2: Going to be at the Game, oh we're going to bring you right to the. Sidelines we're going to bring you into the, huddle we're going to make up, players we're going to take you into the, dugout and we're going to interview the manager during the game like you saw With Tom berducci And Dave. 00:09:50 Speaker 3: Roberts, uh we're going to talk to the coach as he goes off the field at. HALFTIME i don't need. 00:09:59 Speaker 2: It if you give me sound like sound is what brings me. Closer and when you have these microphones that will pick up when somebody, is you, know going to the, bag they slide into, second you're hearing things on the. 00:10:15 Speaker 3: Field BUT i DON'T i don't need an. 00:10:17 Speaker 2: Interview remember people used to make fun of the sideline, reporter and then what have we. Done we've added more sideline reporters. There and, Look i'm all for people getting an opportunity and getting paid and having a job like, this but as a, Viewer Tom berducci talking To Dave roberts, now the access was wonderful Because dave is very, Accommodating BUT i JUST i don't need those. Things and it feels, like what do we, do how can we give you now we. HAVE i think it's WHAT nbc And peacock. Have Like Austin rivers is on the, Bench Robbie hummel former college, player they're on the bench with a. Microphone there's. That that's the. 00:11:03 Speaker 3: Sideline how can you be a player coach and thinking you can talk on the sidelines and you got a reporter. There do you have to, say, hey off the, Record, god that. 00:11:15 Speaker 1: Was a terrible. 00:11:16 Speaker 3: Cut you know you're a bomb. 00:11:17 Speaker 8: Man. 00:11:18 Speaker 2: WHATEVER i don't. KNOW i think we got to be careful of infringing too. 00:11:24 Speaker 3: Much, Yes, tom. 00:11:25 Speaker 9: Perhaps it's a mean spirited on my, part but WHEN i see those, THINGS i root for something huge that happen in the game while they're in the middle of just having this little chat and someone just blasted three run all and ruins the whole thing and realizing we can't be doing this while alive. 00:11:37 Speaker 2: Moment BUT i like The All star game when they make up the PLAYER i. Do but that's an exhibition. Game this is The World. SERIES i as much as you, Know berducci is great and a caretaker of the, game And Dave roberts is. 00:11:52 Speaker 3: ACCOMMODATING i just want to watch the. 00:11:54 Speaker 2: GAME i don't and you know those coaches going off the Sidelines bill Cower on and he's, like, OH i hated. It you, know, hey what adjustments you're going to? Make many of. Them i'm not going to tell you LIKE i, mean he was, SAYING i didn't want to say anything to. 00:12:12 Speaker 3: Anybody. Coach they ran for four hundred and fifty yards on the first. Half what do we need to do different stop them from running so? Much all, right thank you. 00:12:19 Speaker 2: Coach, yeah but the sound in the, picture the quality is so much. Better by the, Way paulie was telling me THAT nbc paid more money to get a better signal or more powered to make their picture. 00:12:38 Speaker 7: Better so people have noticed THAT nbc having THE nba rights this, year the broadcast have felt very slick and professional BECAUSE nbc has always has good production. Value so some people are noticing that the actual picture on THEIR tv is better than other. Broadcasts and there's some truth to. That WHEN nbc redid some, studios they went to this like ten eightyp type STUFF instep seven to, twenty and so some of the games you see ON nbc in comparison TO tnt last year or EVEN, espn the actual picture quality you're getting from them is better than other, networks and so it's not just you think it's. 00:13:13 Speaker 5: Better it actually. 00:13:14 Speaker 7: Is and it's a conscious effort BY nbc with their new digital. Studios and some reporters were asking about. It it's a real. Story it's not just a. 00:13:22 Speaker 3: Coincidence, okay but why wouldn't other networks do. 00:13:25 Speaker 7: This cost so you can only afford so many broadcasts with this higher level of. Signal, yeah AND nbc does not have like two HUNDRED nba. Games they were able to do it Within if you Notice Notre dame games has the same. Thing if you notice this signal during A Notre dame football game ON, nbc it might feel a bit crisper than a random college football game you'll see on other. 00:13:50 Speaker 3: NETWORKS i haven't noticed, IT i mean Now i'll try. 00:13:55 Speaker 7: To bands were tweeting about it on social media the past two weeks WITH nbc as a, compliment and some reporters actually delved into and, said there's a reality behind us with that production. 00:14:05 Speaker 3: Value all, right let me take a. 00:14:07 Speaker 2: Break when we come, back we'll hear From Michael. Jordan he talked about load management in his sit down With Mike. Chirico we're back after this In The Dan Patrick. 00:14:15 Speaker 1: Show be sure to catch the live edition Of The Dan Patrick show weekdays at nine Am eastern six Am pacific On Fox Sports radio and The iHeartRadio. 00:14:25 Speaker 11: App hey Is covino And rich From Fox Sports Radio. Undefeated he's the third player IN nba history to score at least one hundred and seventy four points through the first five games of his, season and he Joined steph And Wilt. Chamberlain chamberlain had one hundred and seventy Four Steph curry one hundred and seventy nine. 00:15:19 Speaker 3: Points there. 00:15:29 Speaker 2: Brought to you By Pennine. America Austin. REEVES i think has one hundred and forty three points after three, games so he could actually join the list With Steph, Curry Wilt, chamberlain And Shay gilgis if he has a big night tonight or their next. Game BUT i think he's got one hundred and forty three points in three. 00:15:53 Speaker 3: Games, kids let me tell you about the old. 00:15:55 Speaker 7: DAYS i got to See Wilt, Chamberlain Steph, Curry Steph, curry And Austin Austin. 00:16:01 Speaker 2: Reeves all, Right Michael jordan did his sit. Down, WELL i think it's just a one time Only Mike tariko Visits Michael jordan In florida and they go over a variety of. Topics i'm assuming that's what this is going to. BE i hope it's. NOT i hope it it's. Timelier then we can talk bigger, pictures like you know this, story this, player something that, happened and you can get his reaction to. It not in real, time but let's say once a Month tarico is able to go. THERE i hope it's not just a one and done where you sit For, mike Sit mike for three hours and you go over a variety of. Topics but he did talk about load management last. 00:16:47 Speaker 12: Night what do you think of when you hear the term load management thrown? Around, well it shouldn't be. 00:16:55 Speaker 13: NEEDED i never wanted to miss a game because it was an opportunity to prove it. Was it was something THAT i, felt, like you, know the fans are there that watch me. PLAY i want TO i want to impress that guy way up on top who probably worked his ass off to get a ticket or to get money to buy the. 00:17:12 Speaker 12: Ticket you really cared about the guy who sat in the top back at The palace In Auburn hills to watch you when you came To. 00:17:17 Speaker 13: Detroit, yeah BECAUSE i know he's probably yelling at, me AND i want to shut him. 00:17:20 Speaker 14: Up he's calling me all kinds of. NAMES i definitely want to shut him. Up, right you have a duty that if they're wanting to see, you and as an, ENTERTAINER i want to show. Right so if the guys are coming to watch me, PLAY i don't want to miss that. Opportunity now, physically IF i can't do, it THEN i can't do. 00:17:37 Speaker 2: It, okay there's no news. Here Because mike wanted to. Play these, guys they're not going to be like, man did you hear What jordan? Said, now let's play seventy five. Games that's not going to. Happen i'm sure THE nba love this, too because THE nba is trying to get these players to play more. 00:17:56 Speaker 3: Games they're not going to do. 00:17:58 Speaker 2: It two much money to be, made and if you can somehow sit out instead of playing through something and an extends your, career you're going to do that because. 00:18:09 Speaker 3: The amount of money that's. There would we like you to play seventy five? Games? Yes would we like you to get paid for each game you? Play? 00:18:18 Speaker 2: Yes we Would wait till somebody is making a million dollars a game and they decide to sit out two. Games wait till that. Happens they're going to rest. Now and you can say you're, BAY i tweaked. Something, okay we have to believe. You but you, know you get load management with these. Guys LEBRON a couple of years, AGO i thought was trying to, Prove, Hey i'm going to play seventy. GAMES i think he played seventy one in seventy. Two hey in my, age look at. Me but then you, know like the prior five years to, that there were some seasons where he's playing fifty, games five games and he's one of the. Best, well it's probably been in better shape than any other. Athlete But mike didn't make any Head and If michael, said, HEY i understand load, MANAGEMENT i don't blame. 00:19:15 Speaker 3: Them now you're getting a. 00:19:17 Speaker 2: Headline but For, Mike, NOW i was kind of surprised That Mike terrico did ask the, question BECAUSE i, mean it's a. Topic but you, know WHEN i had the commissioner on it AND i, said you got to do, mandatory you gotta are minimum. Games you got to have sixty five games to qualify for postseason, honors and then he did. It now there's some people who weren't happy about, it still aren't happy about. It But i'm trying to get the most out of a. Product i'm trying to be able to see these players instead of you tune in and you, go, wait Where's Steph. Curry he's out all, Right i'm out. TOO i hate to see it. NOW i don't want you playing through something you know that could be. Severe and, yes grew up in a completely different era WHERE i never ever thought about. THAT i never, thought oh my, gosh you know he's going to sit out because why back to back. Games, okay today's athlete is in better, shape, travels better, nutrition has been all of, that but they're sitting out more. Games Like Kawhi. LEONARD i, mean when he, PLAYS i, go, oh be Damn kawhi. Played that's not good for the league for what he gets. Paid AND i know he's A hall Of, famer but to, me he's never been MUSTY. Tv he doesn't talk about the. GAME i don't know if he loves the. GAME i can say he's a good, businessman BUT i don't, go, oh let me See kawhi well lock somebody up or hit a fifteen foot jumper and just not interested in. It BUT i would still like to see him play for the benefit of The. Clippers But jordan's saying that last night didn't have any. Impact it just feels like Whatever mike, says, okay he going to make a headline or people are going to talk about. It Because mike doesn't talk about these. THINGS i just don't want to be talking about broad. TOPICS i want to make sure That i'd love to know What mike thinks About victor Wembin yama right. Now but you, know you do the interview a month ago or two months. Ago THERE'S i want, Timely Michael. JORDAN i don't want a documentary where he's sitting in a chair of a cigar and you, know. Tequila i'd LOVE i thought this was going to be What kobe did in details BECAUSE i thought it was fascinating Because i'm Watching kobe breakdown plays, players, teams and it felt like it was more, immediate and that's WHAT i would like to get out Of Michael. JORDAN i don't know if it's going to be that. WAY i hope, that you, Know tariko goes there and sits down and they wear different clothes and then they're going to be able to talk about some things that have happened in the season so. 00:22:02 Speaker 3: Far, Yes, Marv. 00:22:04 Speaker 10: I'm with you BECAUSE i would love to See Michael jordan's thoughts on somebody Like Shay Gildess, alexander a great two, guard a great, score just to see how he differs and how he just sees the game and in comparison to What Shaye Gilgess alexander. 00:22:17 Speaker 2: Does, yeah Because mike might be, saying you see how he draws contact here he shoots a lot of free throws, That, LIKE i would love to do that Where i'd say To, mike, hey tell me what you see With Shaye. Gilges how would you defend? It what is he getting away? With because he is getting away, with you, know pushing. Off but great players get away With mike got away with, It Magic, bird run down the, list they all got away with. Something BUT i would love to know What mike sees in. That i'd love for him, to you, know break Down. Luca any of these younger players would be. Great it'd be a lot of. Fun BUT i think that's the one thing that will miss out of this Is. Michael but it doesn't feel like it's. Immediate, yeah Morph. 00:23:07 Speaker 10: YEAH i would just love to Hear tarico ask, Him, hey what similarities do you see In Anthony? Edwards because people were talking About Anthony edwards being the closest thing To Michael jordan in What mike Sees. 00:23:18 Speaker 7: Yeah, paully going back to load, management it's one of those phrases where collectively everyone hates, it we talk about, it we put it at a. Poll is there any chance, though that if you had a do, over you kind of would wish that load management was around in the eighties and, nineties Would Larry bird had played till thirty five instead of thirty? One would you, know Like Steph curry right now is thirty seven still playing great? Basketball the first half of his career he played seventy five plus games all the. Time the second half it's close to like sixty five to. Seventy is that the Reason Steph curry is not retired right? Now and could that be like would you rather Have Larry bird for ten years for eighty games or thirteen years for seventy five? 00:23:57 Speaker 3: Games, Yeah i'd rather have a couple more years with. HIM i. 00:24:00 Speaker 7: Wonder you, know it's hard to, say but would it have been better for guys like that to occasionally do? 00:24:06 Speaker 15: That? 00:24:07 Speaker 3: Well they had. 00:24:08 Speaker 2: Injuries bird had a bad, back, right But Steve nash had a bad. 00:24:13 Speaker 3: Back but did. 00:24:13 Speaker 7: They Did bird exacerbate it because it's my. Back i'll play through a couple. 00:24:18 Speaker 3: Of nights because that's the way he. Played, yeah he couldn't change the way he. 00:24:22 Speaker 2: Played that's the. Problem Steve. Nash maybe you get a couple more. Years remember Nash on when he was out of a, game he'd had to stretch the entire time the number of players last year who played eighty or more. 00:24:36 Speaker 3: Games, todd do you want to? Guess don't happen? 00:24:41 Speaker 5: Anything what we played more than eighty? 00:24:46 Speaker 9: Games? Yeah, Uh Oscar Robertson. 00:24:51 Speaker 3: No, Eleven, marvin how many players played at least eighty games last? Year? 00:25:00 Speaker 5: HERE i thought you said all the? Time what was? 00:25:04 Speaker 15: It? 00:25:04 Speaker 3: Marvin? Seventeen, okay seat twenty, five twenty, two. 00:25:10 Speaker 5: Twenty eleven times, two it is twenty. 00:25:12 Speaker 3: Two No, todd no' sit. 00:25:13 Speaker 2: Out go back to twenty, fourteen it was fifty three. Players go back to two thousand and, four it was seventy. Two back to nineteen ninety four it was eighty three, players and back to eighty four it was seventy seven. 00:25:28 Speaker 3: Players so this is certainly a. TREND i understand. 00:25:32 Speaker 2: It it's just it's difficult to tune into. Something it'd be like going to A broadway show and the person you're going to go see has to stand. In are you going to stay for The broadway? Show, OKAY i got no other. Choice i've already bought tickets to, this or tuning in to watch a movie and the star is not. There but we've talked to the commissioner about. IT i don't think there's a solution because THE, nfl THE Nba Player association is not going to let you implement some kind of hey for play system where you get your paycheck when you show up to. Work that's not going to happen BECAUSE i can't force you to. 00:26:15 Speaker 3: Play, Yes, mark. 00:26:16 Speaker 10: The closest thing, is like you suggested That Adam silver. Trick, yeah it's like and THEN i start to dribble. Again it's everything's gray area when you think about a. Call is that holding that's a gray? Area is that pass interference that's gray? 00:28:09 Speaker 3: Area it's that? Traveling that's? 00:28:11 Speaker 6: GREAT i, mean, yea but that's WHY i like holding should just be. ALLOWED i, agree you should just let them do. It everyone is holding on every, play but you just decided to call this. One that's stupid or put them all in. Guy, yes and he wanted to play like The knicks in the, nineties not like the Showtime. Lakers The knicks in the nineties were really how he wanted to. Play let's fight that was, terrible such a bad basketball the people clamor for let's go back to the. 00:32:55 Speaker 5: Nineties are you? 00:32:56 Speaker 3: Sure, no the eighty three seventy nine they moved a three. 00:33:00 Speaker 5: Point line in because people were shooting the ball so. 00:33:02 Speaker 3: Terribly all, Right, well take a. 00:33:04 Speaker 2: Break more phone calls coming, up update the poll results as. 00:33:07 Speaker 1: Well we're back after. Right Track so i'll keep you updated. On that look out for that and also real quick you one of your one of your guys who's working mcloven made an argument about system QUARTERBACKS and i tend to agree with mc LOVEN because i have to really feel that some of these quarterbacks are a product of, a system Such as nino, last year which got him the job At, The Raiders sam donald when he got Me, in minnesota And Also. Baker mayfield so when mcgloven brought up, that argument Even When joe montana ripped them, ABOUT that i don't believe that you kind of supported mc glove and. On THAT so i want to know do you feel the same, way then or do you have your? FEELIES changed, i, hang listen. 00:35:00 Speaker 3: All, right well you can run. 00:35:02 Speaker 2: A System joe montana ran, a system but Then other niner quarterbacks ran the system and They Weren't. Joe Montana steve young ran the system and Became a Hall. Of Famer jim druckenmiller ran the. Same system. That's, Randall yes, so yes do you run. A System does sean McVeigh have? A, System Yes kyle shanahan has. A system there are these offensive minded head coaches who. Have systems does that make you a? System? Quarterback yes but you can run. The system you can run it at a, good level, great level Hall of, fame level or maybe an. Average level the system is, in place what you do with the system dictates how good. You Are uh Sewan, In Indianapolis, hi sean what's on your? 00:35:52 Speaker 3: Mind? Today? 00:35:55 Speaker 8: Hey dan talking about? Load Management and i'll see it about IT because i have a couple boys that play travel basketball and they just play so, many Games and, I'M wondering i don't like load management JUST because i feel able to go to the game and see. The Stars but i'm just thinking with ALL the aau sports and all the games that, they're playing just growing up at a high level before they even get TO, the nba they're just beating up. Their BODIES and i talk To The north peak surgeons and they share how they're seeing injuries on some of these kids that, are, seventeen eighteen nineteen years old that they used to see in, twenty seven, twenty eight twenty nine. Year, OLD so, I mean i do understand a little bit of low, a MANDMENT but i mean it's there's just so many games before they even get to that high of. A, level yeah, you KNOW the nba can't do anything. 00:36:44 Speaker 3: About this it doesn't happen IN. 00:36:47 Speaker 2: The nfl it gets rare if you find that somebody is. Load managing are there too many games they load Manage In Major? League baseball when's the last time, you said how? Many games is such an? Such playing how it. Doesn't happen you don't do that to. Baseball players we do it to, basketball players. Football players everybody's trying to play week in and week out for the. Most part if your team secures a home, playoff throughout you know the advantage of. Home field maybe you sit out for a game. Or two but we don't do this, for baseball and they're getting paid a lot of money. 00:37:26 Speaker 3: As. Well, yeah yeah like football as a sport load. 00:37:30 Speaker 6: Manages itself you basically play until you get hurt, and like, all right put the next guy. 00:37:34 Speaker 3: Out there and you're just a lot. 00:37:36 Speaker 6: Of players i'm not saying that no one has, any value but they're treated like pretty as, disposable parts like, all right then the next. Guy goes then? Who cares and go back in that tent and put the next. 00:37:47 Speaker 5: Guy in. 00:37:47 Speaker 3: Nobody cares but you're PAYING these. 00:37:50 Speaker 2: Nba players, once again we're going to get in the next couple, of years somebody's going to make a hundred million dollars in. 00:37:57 Speaker 3: A season. 00:38:00 Speaker 2: Million dollars in, a season and that's when we're going to look at. Load management that's when there's going to be. An outcry you got all these, YOU know tv network spending all. This money there's only so, much money like a certain percentage has to go to. The players so these guys are going to be making all of. This MONEY and I understand i would never have done load management. 00:38:23 Speaker 3: GROWING up i. 00:38:25 Speaker 2: WOULD never. I couldn't i wouldn't be able to. Understand that NOW should i have. DONE that i needed knee SURGERY when i was fifteen years of age and held off, doing THAT and i still have. Knee ISSUES now i have a replacement KNEE and i tell parents when ask, ABOUT it i do not, volunteer THIS but i do say make sure you manage, you know the number of innings that you're throwing it as a twelve, year, old like these are things that come back to. Haunt you i'd have, shoulder surgery, torn labram, you know the there's an accumulation. That happens but you. It's individual you have to know your child and just be careful because your body's not done growing and we treat them like. 00:39:10 Speaker 3: They, are YEAH sometimes i look at players say IN. 00:39:14 Speaker 6: The nba AND maybe i don't know if this is, a Comparison but i'm not a like vintage or luxury. 00:39:20 Speaker 3: Car buyer but the. 00:39:22 Speaker 6: Same reason that say you might spend two hundred and fifty third or a person might spend two hundred and fifty thousand dollars on a car and then keep it in their garage the, whole time and only they don't use that as their. Daily driver, you know the Logic of i'm paying this player all, this money SO now i need to run him into the ground because of. All, that well you maybe they're not your. Daily driver maybe you'd use them as much as you need to so that you don't, devalue it you don't run it into. 00:39:48 Speaker 15: The, ground. 00:39:51 Speaker 3: YEAH but i GOTTA get i gotta get value out. 00:39:53 Speaker 6: Of you you, Still are you're still getting plenty of value out of them with. 00:39:59 Speaker 2: Not with what you got guys making fifty million dollars that you have no idea who. They are i'm not getting any value out of some of. These, guys now your top, END guys i want you for. The postseason that's the most. Important Thing And greg popovich was doing this before, Anybody was and, you know they weren't. Exorbitant salaries then he knew that the goal was to. Win championships how many teams can have? 00:40:23 Speaker 6: That? 00:40:23 Speaker 3: Goal, Five seven take. 00:40:28 Speaker 2: A break more phone calls coming up will recap what happened. Last night look ahead to some of the matchups coming up, This Weekend Big Thursday Night game La mar jackson is Back And World series game five tonight
