<v Speaker 1>One, well life. Welcome in everybody to the Non Tender Podcast.
<v Speaker 1>My name is Wood and I'm joined once again by
<v Speaker 1>my beautiful, radiant, glob available wife free even. I would
<v Speaker 1>say for me on the podcast, not for anyone else,
<v Speaker 1>thanks for being here. That music might be a little loud.
<v Speaker 1>Let me turn that down. It's like in my ears.
<v Speaker 1>How you doing today, Kim? How's uh? How's life? How's
<v Speaker 1>the weather? How's Pennsylvania treating you? It's getting rainy. We
<v Speaker 1>put new flowers into the garden, thankfully out front of
<v Speaker 1>this house that we're in right now, and I don't
<v Speaker 1>have to water them because it's been rainy. Hi f
<v Speaker 1>I was actually like worried I have to spend hours
<v Speaker 1>out there watering flowers this week. Welcome man in the
<v Speaker 1>Nontendo gaming podcast, where we talk about watering flowers. Speaking
<v Speaker 1>of delicate flowers. I am slaying right now in my
<v Speaker 1>new blonde doom. I died. I died. I died it
<v Speaker 1>I did. How does it look? It look good?
<v Speaker 2>Okay? It cost about thirty five dollars on Amazon. It's great.
<v Speaker 1>I'm wearing a wig. I actually have been streaming a
<v Speaker 1>lot of the news out it.
<v Speaker 2>Oh.
<v Speaker 1>I was going to get the switch.
<v Speaker 2>Oh, that's what you forgot.
<v Speaker 1>It's over there. I'm looking at it. There is actually
<v Speaker 1>someone in the room that could help and actually would
<v Speaker 1>be a good excuse for you to say hi as
<v Speaker 1>well when you when you bring the bring the box over.
<v Speaker 1>Just be careful, well you can bring it to me.
<v Speaker 1>You don't be careful with it, but hand it to
<v Speaker 1>me like really low because my address is on that box.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah yeah yeah, or like face it
<v Speaker 1>the other way, or do some kind of magic.
<v Speaker 2>Carrying it like a bomb.
<v Speaker 1>Do you also want to say hello on? No, she
<v Speaker 1>said hello, She said hello, my my dear friend Ali
<v Speaker 1>is in is in the house? Literally, it's not just
<v Speaker 1>an express cool expression that the kids say. Huh kids,
<v Speaker 1>all of them. Yes, they say, they say in the house,
<v Speaker 1>they say sick, they say lit, they say puggies, they
<v Speaker 1>say giat, they say ohio baby, gronk. What was that one?
<v Speaker 2>Oh? They do say that one. Beans beans and.
<v Speaker 1>Summon back beans. I have the Zeuder switch light that
<v Speaker 1>we can we can take a little bit of a
<v Speaker 1>look at the box. I had satisfy. Oh, so, welcome
<v Speaker 1>on and everybody, thanks for being here. Nice to see you.
<v Speaker 1>We have a lot to talk about. I want to
<v Speaker 1>talk about where the switches the switch to because you
<v Speaker 1>remember we talked about discussed with the dates are up, Well,
<v Speaker 1>the first wave of dates, we'll talk about it. Someone
<v Speaker 1>was pretty confident. What was I going to say before?
<v Speaker 1>I was like, let me get to the topics. I'm
<v Speaker 1>all over the place. I'm wearing my favorite shirt from
<v Speaker 1>Japan that I got in Japan. It's about three sizes
<v Speaker 1>too big, but it says there are two cats here. Uh,
<v Speaker 1>one day a cat comes to our house. Kitty, there
<v Speaker 1>are two cats here.
<v Speaker 2>Poetic.
<v Speaker 1>It's my favorite Japanese shirt. Oh you know what else?
<v Speaker 1>This episode sponsored. I was supposed to do this surf
<v Speaker 1>Shark VPN today's sponsor, and I can't thank them enough.
<v Speaker 1>I feel like even just the description of a VPN
<v Speaker 1>is lost on some people. VPN stands for a virtual
<v Speaker 1>private network private network. You know online, how nothing's private?
<v Speaker 1>You know that, right, Like, that's not the first time
<v Speaker 1>you've heard that. Well, imagine if you could get a
<v Speaker 1>private network. Oh, well you can, and it's a surf
<v Speaker 1>shark VPN. Essentially, what a VPN does is it creates
<v Speaker 1>a secure tunnel around your data, like an encryption tunnel
<v Speaker 1>that nobody can see into. It masks your IP address
<v Speaker 1>and lets you sidestep website blocks and firewalls on the Internet.
<v Speaker 1>That last bit's kind of more just a happy side effect.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, it's all about safety and privacy. But in
<v Speaker 1>doing that, you can just change your IP address to
<v Speaker 1>any part of the globe you want, London or Australia
<v Speaker 1>or the US. Wherever it is, you will be able
<v Speaker 1>to access all of that country's content online, whether it's Netflix,
<v Speaker 1>websites that are otherwise blocked, and so much more. Going
<v Speaker 1>out in public and to a coffee shop to do
<v Speaker 1>your work, or even your workplace to do your work.
<v Speaker 1>If you take your laptop, you might want to use
<v Speaker 1>a VPN because public Wi Fi is not safe. I
<v Speaker 1>don't know if you know that. On top of that,
<v Speaker 1>and some things I really like is you can get
<v Speaker 1>the same account on unlimited devices. So I have surf
<v Speaker 1>Shock on my phone as well as my PC or
<v Speaker 1>with one account and one price tag.
<v Speaker 2>Oh.
<v Speaker 1>I can't stress enough that the anti virus works. It
<v Speaker 1>just works. There's a built in anti virus as p
<v Speaker 1>out of the app. And I actually initially started using
<v Speaker 1>surf Shark VPN over a competitor I used to use
<v Speaker 1>because I heard the antivirus was really good and I'd
<v Speaker 1>just been hacked and I had a bunch of Trojans
<v Speaker 1>on my PC, key logging my computer and hacking literally
<v Speaker 1>my I was screwed, and surf Shark Antivirus found dozens
<v Speaker 1>of this virus spreading across my PC and shut it
<v Speaker 1>all down in one go. So if you want to
<v Speaker 1>check them out and get an extra four months, go
<v Speaker 1>to the link below or surf shark dot com, forward
<v Speaker 1>slash nontendo and use coupon code nontendo to get four
<v Speaker 1>extra months four months. That's almost like half a year extra.
<v Speaker 2>Here.
<v Speaker 1>It is Welcome back everybody. I just I just whacked
<v Speaker 1>it out of the box. I haven't even like out
<v Speaker 1>of the shipping box. I haven't actually even looked at
<v Speaker 1>it yet. The Nintendo Switch Light Hiral Edition. It's very pretty.
<v Speaker 1>I had a revelation about it. I haven't opened it yet.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know what it actually looks like. It could
<v Speaker 1>be horrible, it's probably not. I had a revelation about
<v Speaker 1>it because Satisfying messaged me, you know, the I'm taking
<v Speaker 1>this wig off.
<v Speaker 2>Sorry, how long it was gonna lae.
<v Speaker 1>Well, it was just a goof, just a goof. Because
<v Speaker 1>I've been wearing it on stream for a while, I
<v Speaker 1>thought it would be funny. Also, I haven't washed my hair,
<v Speaker 1>so my hair looks honestly worse than that thirty five
<v Speaker 1>dollar wig. And this is the head that God gave me,
<v Speaker 1>so imagine how I feel. Satisfyed message me and they
<v Speaker 1>were like they wanted my opinion. Do you think we
<v Speaker 1>should do a gold satisfied grip. I don't if I
<v Speaker 1>should even be telling this story. I don't know if
<v Speaker 1>he cares, he probably won't even hear it. And I
<v Speaker 1>was like, honestly no, because I don't know how much
<v Speaker 1>of this is going to sell. But at this point,
<v Speaker 1>with the switch to just around the corner, this is
<v Speaker 1>a collector's item. People aren't buying a switch light. Zelder
<v Speaker 1>addition in twenty twenty four in September immediately poorting all
<v Speaker 1>of their library of games they've been playing for forever
<v Speaker 1>from the main switch over to it, just to in
<v Speaker 1>a few months get a backwards compatible switch to it.
<v Speaker 1>This is quite literally I bought this for vanity. I
<v Speaker 1>bought this because it's gold and I want to put
<v Speaker 1>it on the shelf, and I love Zelda, which is
<v Speaker 1>a terrible I'm such a sucker. I am. I am
<v Speaker 1>literally exactly what Nintendo wants me to be as far
<v Speaker 1>as a consumer, not a YouTuber. They hate what they
<v Speaker 1>hate what I do with the YouTube side of it.
<v Speaker 1>All right, I'm not going to open that right now
<v Speaker 1>because I don't know if I'm going to do one
<v Speaker 1>actual unboxing video for on my channel and we don't
<v Speaker 1>really have a camera close enough for it. But it's
<v Speaker 1>going to sit right here with the game of SUPs
<v Speaker 1>that you can use Nintendo to get some if you want.
<v Speaker 1>All Right, So I actually have a lot of fun
<v Speaker 1>things to talk about today, but I want to start
<v Speaker 1>with an apology. Oh, I'll start with an apology. No,
<v Speaker 1>I'm usually really bad at addressing the previous week's show
<v Speaker 1>war what But do you think I'm going with? I
<v Speaker 1>don't know now, It's it's not real. I mean, it's
<v Speaker 1>kind of an apology. But I mean as soon as
<v Speaker 1>I ended and we rolled into the bonus episode, I
<v Speaker 1>was like, the comments on that are going to be
<v Speaker 1>a shit show. I know, I know for sure that
<v Speaker 1>they're all going to be like, what was copyright, pertons
<v Speaker 1>and copyrights would such a do? First, guess what I am?
<v Speaker 1>Guess what true? We did a bonus episode immediately after
<v Speaker 1>for patreons, and we actually did start asking chat GPT
<v Speaker 1>some questions and I don't remember exactly everything that you
<v Speaker 1>and I were like debating over on the episode, but
<v Speaker 1>we came to a conclusion that we were both wrong,
<v Speaker 1>but I was mostly the one wrong that looked like
<v Speaker 1>it hurts now I'm fine with it. No, So the
<v Speaker 1>whole rant I went on about Nintendo suing Power World
<v Speaker 1>for like copyright in fringe on the characters, just to
<v Speaker 1>then have someone in Chat be like, they're actually suing
<v Speaker 1>them for a patent. The copyright characters aren't even included
<v Speaker 1>in the lawsuit. To me, was like, but I just
<v Speaker 1>spent half an hour of this episode comparing the characters,
<v Speaker 1>so I kind of I didn't want to pull the handbrake,
<v Speaker 1>so I got a little stubborn about it. But I
<v Speaker 1>will say even still knowing, essentially, what we found out
<v Speaker 1>in the bonus episode was they are suing for a pattern.
<v Speaker 1>We don't know what pattern, but we can only really
<v Speaker 1>assume just by looking at the two games that it's
<v Speaker 1>the poke bull sphere type mechanic that Nintendo does have
<v Speaker 1>a pattern for, and powerwell does in their game completely Steel.
<v Speaker 1>While we're pretty sure that's what they're suing for, I
<v Speaker 1>think it's worth noting that I don't think Nintendo would
<v Speaker 1>have come after them for that alone if it wasn't
<v Speaker 1>for the fact that their characters so closely resemble Nintendo's
<v Speaker 1>and they're so obviously is a at least a marginal
<v Speaker 1>amount of theft happening in the in the in the
<v Speaker 1>way that their characters look, yeah, and then just the
<v Speaker 1>fact that you also happen to catch them that way.
<v Speaker 1>I feel like Nintendo, and this is what we can't
<v Speaker 1>talked about in the bonus episode, are going after what
<v Speaker 1>they can exactly. They're going after the thing that they
<v Speaker 1>really do own a pattern for and they can get
<v Speaker 1>them for. Whereas the copyright stuff they're gonna that's a
<v Speaker 1>little more. They're gonna have to find examples and argue
<v Speaker 1>like whether or not it's technically copying them. And I
<v Speaker 1>think it's a bunch of like logistics that they're just like, well,
<v Speaker 1>that's a whole hassle. Whereas we own a pattern for this,
<v Speaker 1>let's just get them for that.
<v Speaker 2>It would be a lot quicker of a lawsuit. Yes,
<v Speaker 2>it's way easier to prove everything else is circumstantial. You
<v Speaker 2>could get away with a lot of that.
<v Speaker 1>I really do feel like, even though they're not showing
<v Speaker 1>for copyright, all of the things I did talk about
<v Speaker 1>play a big part and one Nintendo was so upset
<v Speaker 1>with Power World, and I think another example of that
<v Speaker 1>is just to look at a game like tem Tem
<v Speaker 1>which yeah they use cards. Technically you throw cards at
<v Speaker 1>the Pokemon, but the whole concept is the same. You
<v Speaker 1>weaken them, you capture them, you then you then throw
<v Speaker 1>out the card. It's just it's a card, not a ball.
<v Speaker 1>But the whole game is a straight clone of old
<v Speaker 1>school Pokemon, from like the way it looks, the way
<v Speaker 1>it plays, how you visit towns, the roots along the way.
<v Speaker 1>It's literally Pokemon done different or done the same, done
<v Speaker 1>very similar, And Nintendo didn't care because the actual Pokemon
<v Speaker 1>didn't look like Pokemon and it was very clear it
<v Speaker 1>wasn't Pokemon.
<v Speaker 2>I think there's multiple elements to it. I think it's that.
<v Speaker 2>I think it's the fact that Powell World was extremely successful,
<v Speaker 2>especially with.
<v Speaker 1>Streams and stuff. We talked about that too, and then
<v Speaker 1>setting an example, the guns are obviously an issue because
<v Speaker 1>Nintenda doesn't like that because they're associated with their branding. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>so you and I were seeing i'd eye about a
<v Speaker 1>lot of things. The only thing that we were really
<v Speaker 1>butting heads on is you thought that they wouldn't have
<v Speaker 1>copyrighted every pokemon, which we look according to chat GBT,
<v Speaker 1>it could be wrong, but I also feel it it's
<v Speaker 1>pretty standard.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know what copyright every single one do that
<v Speaker 2>to copyright each individual thing.
<v Speaker 1>I don't think it's actually as hard as you think.
<v Speaker 1>I think they just like they have all the three
<v Speaker 1>D models and everything that they built for the pokemon,
<v Speaker 1>and they just they just give it to a lawyer
<v Speaker 1>or whatever and they're like, hey, copyright this, and then
<v Speaker 1>they pay a fee and it's copyrighted.
<v Speaker 2>Interestingly, if chat gbt is right, they do what it
<v Speaker 2>always is it. Also, they copyrighted their move sets, so
<v Speaker 2>that is interesting because if that's true.
<v Speaker 1>I feel like she's pulling that from somewhere for sure.
<v Speaker 1>But yeah, they copyright the move sets and and everything
<v Speaker 1>about them. Like there was other things about the pokemon
<v Speaker 1>they copyrighted too.
<v Speaker 2>I can't remember what it was.
<v Speaker 1>I can't remember watch the bonus episode. It was, it
<v Speaker 1>was a set. I wish the bonus episode was tacked
<v Speaker 1>onto the whole episode because it actually all the comments
<v Speaker 1>were literally I wish they had just googled, and we did.
<v Speaker 1>We just did it. The conversation rolled onto the bonus
<v Speaker 1>and then we actually did some fact checking, which we
<v Speaker 1>should have done earlier. But so I apologize for any
<v Speaker 1>frustration there. Also, people said I was talking over you
<v Speaker 1>a lot, which I don't really feel like I was.
<v Speaker 2>I feel like we both have the tendency to do that.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, and then I apologize if I was. I think
<v Speaker 1>with you, I've been creating content with you now for
<v Speaker 1>like six or seven years, and I'm used to you
<v Speaker 1>being kind of quiet and reserved and not really saying much,
<v Speaker 1>and so I don't really want there to be like
<v Speaker 1>dead air. If one of us isn't talking, I panic
<v Speaker 1>about that. So I'm constantly trying to keep talking, and
<v Speaker 1>I am expecting you not to. But that episode, you
<v Speaker 1>were doing awesome with talking, and I think I just
<v Speaker 1>kind of got in your way a little bit.
<v Speaker 2>I don't think so. I think we were just having
<v Speaker 2>a conversation.
<v Speaker 1>I actually think it was fine. Yeah, although I did,
<v Speaker 1>I just do it then.
<v Speaker 2>I mean, if you want to be technical about it.
<v Speaker 1>But I was agreeing with you.
<v Speaker 2>I don't care.
<v Speaker 1>Oh that's what I'm saying. That sounded like you were like,
<v Speaker 1>I don't care, no, not like also like I don't
<v Speaker 1>know if you know this, but I love you like
<v Speaker 1>it used to thank you like you're like my best friend.
<v Speaker 1>Oh jeez, and I would do anything for you. Oh
<v Speaker 1>she's looking at me right now. I wish you guys
<v Speaker 1>could see real quick.
<v Speaker 2>Look how sad I mean?
<v Speaker 1>And pets right now? All right, sorry about that, everybody.
<v Speaker 1>What do you guys think? Let us know down below right,
<v Speaker 1>comment and subscribe. All right, let's dive into this so
<v Speaker 1>off the top, I just want to talk about the
<v Speaker 1>title and everything. I just thought it was interesting that
<v Speaker 1>we are we are one day past this window that
<v Speaker 1>that we were given here by David Gibson. To be fair,
<v Speaker 1>he did say think, but everybody leaned into this pretty heavily.
<v Speaker 1>Think it might be September eighteen to twenty six, or
<v Speaker 1>in early October. You know, it's funny because being here
<v Speaker 1>now in twenty seven, it seems so bizarre to me
<v Speaker 1>to think that anybody could think that it would be
<v Speaker 1>between the eighteen twenty six window, because like this switch
<v Speaker 1>light just came out, and like Zelda just came out,
<v Speaker 1>and why would they Why would That's such a horrible.
<v Speaker 2>Time before putting out the announcement after they just dropped
<v Speaker 2>another console. I know that doesn't make.
<v Speaker 1>Sense, So I guess this tweet. I mean, I mean,
<v Speaker 1>I wouldn't say age badly because the tail end here
<v Speaker 1>is early October. But we also talked about how they
<v Speaker 1>always do that when it's like industry leaker insider, there's
<v Speaker 1>definitely going to be a Nintendo direct, either in the
<v Speaker 1>last two weeks of September or early October, or failing that,
<v Speaker 1>we'll definitely see one in November. It's yeah, I mean, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>you're scatters sport.
<v Speaker 2>I'm seeing what sticks.
<v Speaker 1>You know, at some point you will.
<v Speaker 2>Be right, Yeah, exactly, broken clock theory and all that.
<v Speaker 1>I remember. There was one time I was it was
<v Speaker 1>in the studio episode and someone had leaked something and
<v Speaker 1>then we looked at like what they leaked before, and
<v Speaker 1>it was literally that and they were getting credibility for it.
<v Speaker 1>They were like they were right when they said it
<v Speaker 1>might be in September, November or October. I also saw,
<v Speaker 1>oh I was going to put it in here. Let
<v Speaker 1>me see if I can find it real quick. There's
<v Speaker 1>another leak that came out today from somebody else regarding
<v Speaker 1>the switch to. We're just chasing all of these rabbit holes. Now,
<v Speaker 1>oh yeah, this is the last thing I want to
<v Speaker 1>talk about with the switch too, and then we have
<v Speaker 1>a ton of fun things.
<v Speaker 2>Oh.
<v Speaker 1>Actually, no, there's one more thing with the switch too,
<v Speaker 1>and then there's a ton of fun things. But this
<v Speaker 1>article I thought was interesting. So Nintendo switch to rumored
<v Speaker 1>to be ready for March April twenty twenty five launch.
<v Speaker 1>Now this one, it's actually I'm glad I mentioned Satisfy
<v Speaker 1>at the top of this because this has happened before
<v Speaker 1>with Satisfy and companies like that. So there are companies
<v Speaker 1>that make peripherals and accessories for Nintendo. Sometimes they work
<v Speaker 1>kind of close with Nintendo, and they're actually given three
<v Speaker 1>D mock ups or demo units or sometimes even like
<v Speaker 1>draft final units, I don't know what you actually call
<v Speaker 1>them of the console ahead of time so that they
<v Speaker 1>can design their switch grips, their peripherals, all of that stuff.
<v Speaker 1>I think Satisfy been in that position before. I know,
<v Speaker 1>I think D Brand sometimes has been in that position before.
<v Speaker 1>I Did I ever tell the story about how D
<v Speaker 1>Brand was trying to get my Zelder switch from me? Yes,
<v Speaker 1>I think I told that on an episode for it. Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>They they really wanted to make a skin that other
<v Speaker 1>people could buy so they didn't have to buy. That's
<v Speaker 1>their whole motto is they want and they call it.
<v Speaker 1>I can't say it because I don't swear. Really, I
<v Speaker 1>undropped the F word. But like they did an animal
<v Speaker 1>Crossing Switch skin that looked exactly like the Animal Crossing
<v Speaker 1>Switch Nintendo released, and it's literally it's called like the
<v Speaker 1>F Nintendo line. Oh and so when I revealed that
<v Speaker 1>I had this is a different tangent. But when I
<v Speaker 1>revealed that I had the Zelder Switch early, they immediately
<v Speaker 1>were in my DMS and they offered me ten thousand dollars.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, that was crazy for me.
<v Speaker 1>To ship it to them. They're like, we'll borrow it
<v Speaker 1>for two weeks because we want to make an F
<v Speaker 1>Nintendo Zelder skin, and I said no. Two reasons. One,
<v Speaker 1>I didn't want to get in trouble because I was.
<v Speaker 2>Already you would have already gotten in trouble.
<v Speaker 1>I was already walking on thin ice, and I just
<v Speaker 1>felt like, I don't know what if Nintendo find I
<v Speaker 1>was like, what if Nintendo does come knocking at my
<v Speaker 1>door after I post this video and I have to
<v Speaker 1>tell them I don't have it. I've shipped it to
<v Speaker 1>somebody else and they're like where, And then I'm like,
<v Speaker 1>it's a deep Brand or something like that, like I
<v Speaker 1>don't know if. And then two it was just like
<v Speaker 1>a moral thing of like, look, I already shouldn't have
<v Speaker 1>this thing early. I waited until Nintendo revealed it before
<v Speaker 1>I dropped my video. But I feel like, what what
<v Speaker 1>a stab in the back to then also help somebody
<v Speaker 1>rip them off and take their design? And also Deep
<v Speaker 1>Brand was really rude.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know if you want to talk about that part.
<v Speaker 1>They were super rude.
<v Speaker 2>They're really rude about it.
<v Speaker 1>They offered me a couple grande and then I said
<v Speaker 1>I'll think about it. And then a day, not even
<v Speaker 1>a day went by, and they wrote back cut the bullshit,
<v Speaker 1>how much do you want?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah?
<v Speaker 1>And I was like nothing now, and then they upped
<v Speaker 1>it and I said, no, thank you.
<v Speaker 2>Maybe don't be a dick thought.
<v Speaker 1>Anyway, Sorry about all that. Nintendo Switched to rumored to
<v Speaker 1>be ready for March April twenty twenty five launch. So
<v Speaker 1>this is because the CEO of Blade, not the Marble
<v Speaker 1>Hero unfortunately. Um that they make these kinds of things
<v Speaker 1>here that you're seeing on your screen right now, skins
<v Speaker 1>and accessories on that kind of stuff. Relate on their
<v Speaker 1>latest episode of Vandal Radio podcast. This person's name is Mercado,
<v Speaker 1>which is a sick name by the way, Ruben Mercado
<v Speaker 1>sounds like a sandwich, but like a cool sandwich. According
<v Speaker 1>to Miccado, the development of Switch to is complete and
<v Speaker 1>his company already has access to near final units of hardware. Actually,
<v Speaker 1>I want to I say this too. Screenwave, I believe
<v Speaker 1>has been in this position before because they started developing
<v Speaker 1>games around about the time the Switch was coming out,
<v Speaker 1>and we actually went there and did a tour of
<v Speaker 1>their studio and they showed us Switch demo units that
<v Speaker 1>they had ahead of time. Oh yeah, I don't know
<v Speaker 1>if I should say that. Well, I said it.
<v Speaker 2>The Switch is past now, so I know, but they
<v Speaker 2>could still. I don't think they'd get in trouble for that.
<v Speaker 1>Watching and if you are, do you think so let's
<v Speaker 1>talk hit me up? So yeah, I mean, he says
<v Speaker 1>he has a final unit, and Mikado also plans to
<v Speaker 1>uh it said. The planned release window is between March
<v Speaker 1>and April twenty twenty five, which lines up exactly with
<v Speaker 1>everything we've been saying recently. He speculates the former they
<v Speaker 1>need to boaster sales before the physical year or whatever.
<v Speaker 1>But yeah, I guess his uh well, what is this?
<v Speaker 1>He mentioned the joy Con controllers, which will be magnetic
<v Speaker 1>in feature a lock that keep them firmly attached. Oh oh,
<v Speaker 1>that's new news because we were wondering how those little
<v Speaker 1>suckers were going to stay in.
<v Speaker 2>Well, that's what a lot of people were saying in
<v Speaker 2>the comments of.
<v Speaker 1>The video, that that extra button was the lock. Now,
<v Speaker 1>that is interesting and that could be very much true.
<v Speaker 1>And we actually have a video I want to watch
<v Speaker 1>if somebody who thinks they've managed to design I think,
<v Speaker 1>but that lock, it looks so big, like it looks
<v Speaker 1>like a trigger. It's like a lot of people are
<v Speaker 1>I think maybe it's maybe it's actually revealed or announced
<v Speaker 1>or like obvious that it's a lock for the magnetic
<v Speaker 1>joy Cons. But it looks so big to me that
<v Speaker 1>it seems absurd, Like you look at the back of
<v Speaker 1>the switch. Now it's like a tiny little button and
<v Speaker 1>that's a lock. Yeah, so why is this one such
<v Speaker 1>a massive in your thumb way or in your fingers way, ruben? Oh,
<v Speaker 1>but any let me finish that thought. I like that
<v Speaker 1>it has a lock. I mean that I guess that
<v Speaker 1>should be obvious. But I was thinking to myself, like,
<v Speaker 1>what how strong is the magnet that it's not gonna
<v Speaker 1>I don't think I told you this, but I had
<v Speaker 1>a dream the other night that Nintendo invited me out
<v Speaker 1>to play with it early, and I was there with
<v Speaker 1>Christa and a bunch of other people and the switch
<v Speaker 1>the joy Cons. In my dream, they kept falling out,
<v Speaker 1>Like I kept trying to play and they would keep
<v Speaker 1>falling out, and I was like, oh my god, this sucks.
<v Speaker 1>And the other thing I dreamed was the screen. It
<v Speaker 1>folded like you know that Samsung phone that like folds
<v Speaker 1>a familiar with them, Yeah, you have like that one,
<v Speaker 1>but this was like, yeah, it was like a foldable
<v Speaker 1>screen with joy Cons. And I thought about that dream
<v Speaker 1>when I woke up, and I was like, I want
<v Speaker 1>to tweet like I dreamed. Nintendo invited me out to
<v Speaker 1>see the Switch too, and it had a foldable screen.
<v Speaker 1>And the most unbelievable part of that is that Nintendo
<v Speaker 1>invited me out because that was never going to happen.
<v Speaker 1>Ruben also appears to have teas the analog sticks might
<v Speaker 1>differ from the old ones, as his company won't be
<v Speaker 1>able to reuse those they have reproduced on the current
<v Speaker 1>Switch console. Okay, oh that's interesting. Well that's also kind
<v Speaker 1>of obvious because the analog stics had Joycondrift and a
<v Speaker 1>ton of issues. Yeah, they would need so definitely gonna
<v Speaker 1>have some kind of different hardware there. Confirmed that Nintendo
<v Speaker 1>is planning a global launch. Also, when he says confirmed,
<v Speaker 1>it's not confirmed, it's not confirmed until Nintendo confirms it.
<v Speaker 1>But I always find it funny when people like this
<v Speaker 1>who don't who have a reputation, I mean, they're working
<v Speaker 1>with Nintendo. Nintendo have sent them a console according to him,
<v Speaker 1>So he's either lying or he's really risking upsetting Nintendo.
<v Speaker 2>I wonder if they told him what he's allowed to say.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know. I think some people get drunk on
<v Speaker 1>power and they're.
<v Speaker 2>Like, but you're risking losing a lot of business.
<v Speaker 1>You are, but also, when's the last time you heard
<v Speaker 1>of blade?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah?
<v Speaker 1>Okay, mm hmmm, where are we right now?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah?
<v Speaker 1>Free promotion, Like maybe it's a trade off. Maybe he's like, look,
<v Speaker 1>I'm not going to get that switch three in eight years,
<v Speaker 1>but maybe my next eight years I will be popular.
<v Speaker 2>He couldn't work out, said, I hope it works out.
<v Speaker 1>Wait, I don't know. He couldn't share any definitive information
<v Speaker 1>about the price, So he speculates maybe between four hundred
<v Speaker 1>and five hundred. Right now, the leaked price from somewhere
<v Speaker 1>else is four hundred. Over the last week, we've learned
<v Speaker 1>the battery life of the switch too might be excellent,
<v Speaker 1>and there's a solid chance the console will be backwards compatible.
<v Speaker 1>Oh yeah, there's another interesting article that I saw. I
<v Speaker 1>don't know if I have I could probably pull it
<v Speaker 1>actually that they're talking about here. Oh, actually I think
<v Speaker 1>they might have linked it. Oh they linked it. Perfect.
<v Speaker 1>Nintendo doesn't want to get dragged into the performance console war.
<v Speaker 1>This is a whole side tangent that I find really interesting.
<v Speaker 1>Let me get to that. Actually, let me get to that,
<v Speaker 1>because I do find that really interesting. He talks about
<v Speaker 1>AI and Nintendo's plan as far as like game development, right,
<v Speaker 1>but this YouTuber actually three I don't know if it's
<v Speaker 1>I'm assuming it's three D printed, but they made out
<v Speaker 1>from the mock ups and judging by the specs and
<v Speaker 1>everything that's available, just by those renders, Chinese made a
<v Speaker 1>switch to it's pretty cool. So you can see the
<v Speaker 1>size of it, at least comparatively, and it's just it's
<v Speaker 1>a big boy. Yeah, it's big, and it is more rounded,
<v Speaker 1>which is interesting because again in my little fake three
<v Speaker 1>D mock ups, I did stress, can you make it
<v Speaker 1>more rounded? Because I just felt like that would make
<v Speaker 1>it look a little bit more futuristic. I don't know
<v Speaker 1>if it's really working for me though, the more rounded
<v Speaker 1>edges to it, but ultimately, like going back to last episode,
<v Speaker 1>kind of boring if that is it, if we're looking
<v Speaker 1>at what we're going to be playing with for the
<v Speaker 1>next eight years, I mean, it is just more switch.
<v Speaker 1>It's it's better switch.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, well I think that's what they needed to do.
<v Speaker 1>Oh yeah, yeah, we talked about that. But I know
<v Speaker 1>we've talked about this already. I just the one thing
<v Speaker 1>that's going to not bum me out but hear me
<v Speaker 1>out here. One of my one of the most exciting
<v Speaker 1>times in my life is like my birthday Christmas and
<v Speaker 1>getting a brand new console, like a brand new generation,
<v Speaker 1>sitting down opening the PlayStation five, opening the N sixty four,
<v Speaker 1>you know whatever it is that on that day one.
<v Speaker 1>I didn't get an N sixty four on day one,
<v Speaker 1>whom I'm kidding, I was broke, But the the just
<v Speaker 1>the concept and idea of like sitting down after eight
<v Speaker 1>years to open Nintendo's next console, after getting Gang Cube
<v Speaker 1>on launch, we on Launch, we you on Launch, Switch
<v Speaker 1>on launch, all of those being so different and having
<v Speaker 1>so much many new gimmicks and fun things to test
<v Speaker 1>and play around with, to just opening the switch again
<v Speaker 1>and being like, Okay, my games are gonna look better now,
<v Speaker 1>but look at.
<v Speaker 2>Every other console that's coming out. They're all just giant
<v Speaker 2>tablets nobody's making.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, well yeah, but this is Nintendo. This is this
<v Speaker 1>is what I know.
<v Speaker 2>But I feel like they probably just wanted to play
<v Speaker 2>it safe with this one, because what else could you
<v Speaker 2>possibly do.
<v Speaker 1>I know, I know we've talked about that. I'm just
<v Speaker 1>saying all of that stuff removing now and this and
<v Speaker 1>me acknowledging this is the way they needed to go.
<v Speaker 1>There is that element as exciting, no real mystery or
<v Speaker 1>excitement on that launch day.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, everything though, is looking a little blander these days.
<v Speaker 1>I know, everything's so commercial. Look at company logos.
<v Speaker 2>I know, I was just thinking about that yesterday. Remember
<v Speaker 2>this is a huge buzz.
<v Speaker 1>Sorry I just saw them. Buttons are that?
<v Speaker 2>If that's the lock? Why did they do that?
<v Speaker 1>Why is it so beefy? It's so chunky? Anyway? Sorry?
<v Speaker 1>What about the Burger king logo PayPal logo cutting?
<v Speaker 2>Do you remember going to McDonald's in the nineties with
<v Speaker 2>all of the cool stuff like the little fry guys
<v Speaker 2>on the chairs and stuff like that.
<v Speaker 1>Oh you mean like all the marketing of McDonald's.
<v Speaker 2>Yes, yeah, now look at it looks like a bathroom.
<v Speaker 1>Did you ever sit in McDonald's lap, the little statue
<v Speaker 1>like the Ronald McDonald that.
<v Speaker 2>Sat with his legs and take the picture with Ronald like.
<v Speaker 1>It's Sanna, But it's a creepy clown.
<v Speaker 2>It's a creepy clown.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah. You imagine you sit, you sit on that guy's
<v Speaker 1>lap and it and it like stands up and it
<v Speaker 1>would be horrible it's like that Halloween prank when people
<v Speaker 1>dress up as he's like, sit on the and it
<v Speaker 1>looks like it's a it's a statue or something, and
<v Speaker 1>then he starts moving. Honestly, Ronald McDonald doing that. You
<v Speaker 1>go to you go to a house on Halloween to
<v Speaker 1>get some candy and there's a Ronald McDonald sat out
<v Speaker 1>up front, and he stands up. I don't want your
<v Speaker 1>McNuggets anyway, anyway, Sorry about that. Sorry about that, everybody.
<v Speaker 1>I had an intrusive thought and forgot I was doing
<v Speaker 1>a The No Theme podcast. Yeah, that's all the switch
<v Speaker 1>to stuff I've got for you right now. I do
<v Speaker 1>still believe that we're going to see it pretty soon.
<v Speaker 1>I just don't really know when. I mean early October
<v Speaker 1>would be nice. I mean, my birthday's on the tenth.
<v Speaker 1>If Nintendo really loves me, that'd be awesome. What I
<v Speaker 1>just wanted to remind you my birthday's coming up. I'm aware,
<v Speaker 1>just in case you forgot to get me anything. What
<v Speaker 1>you get me, I can't tell you. Now, you get
<v Speaker 1>the thing I asked for, at least I did. Okay,
<v Speaker 1>all right, can I tell them what it is? A
<v Speaker 1>statue of LEVI from Attack on Titan. No, I'll show
<v Speaker 1>it on the episode.
<v Speaker 2>Oh when it comes.
<v Speaker 1>I don't need to see it. Now, what are we doing?
<v Speaker 1>Where are we going? I'm getting neck pains from looking
<v Speaker 1>at you, all right. I keep whipping my head to
<v Speaker 1>look at you, and it's wrenching my neck. Now I
<v Speaker 1>want to see you. You're pretty all right. Let's go
<v Speaker 1>to my sheer disappointment of trying to get a PlayStation
<v Speaker 1>five Pro.
<v Speaker 2>This week, surprised that they limited the units but didn't
<v Speaker 2>limit the amount of scalpers that could buy them.
<v Speaker 1>I agree. I found this out while I was making
<v Speaker 1>a Reactor ups video, which, by the way, everybody new
<v Speaker 1>channel Reactor ups go check it out. I was reacting
<v Speaker 1>to the state of play or something. I've done two
<v Speaker 1>videos on the channel. I've already forgotten what was in them,
<v Speaker 1>and I was like, I was kind of not praising PlayStation,
<v Speaker 1>but I was saying it was kind of a clever
<v Speaker 1>move to reveal the PlayStation Pro being seven hundred dollars,
<v Speaker 1>pissing everybody off, but then a couple days later going,
<v Speaker 1>but you can get it in an anniversary edition, and
<v Speaker 1>now all of a sudden, everyone was like, oh, okay,
<v Speaker 1>PlayStation five pro is actually kind of sick. Actually, I
<v Speaker 1>kind of want one. Then I found out there's only
<v Speaker 1>twelve thousand of those suckers. Twelve thousand.
<v Speaker 2>I kind of feel like they should have just made
<v Speaker 2>it look like that.
<v Speaker 1>What do you mean, oh, like just by default.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, because think about it, they'd be the only ones
<v Speaker 2>going back to the retro console. Look, everybody else is
<v Speaker 2>doing tablets and they're I mean, like the old school.
<v Speaker 2>Put the color back on the buttons. You know.
<v Speaker 1>I just don't know why you need to limit it
<v Speaker 1>to twelve thousand, Like because for an example of how
<v Speaker 1>little that is. I mean, I said in my tweet,
<v Speaker 1>they've sold sixty million PlayStation fives. Obviously a lot of
<v Speaker 1>that audience is going to want to upgrade to a pro.
<v Speaker 1>And if you're releasing Anniversary Edition around the same time,
<v Speaker 1>they're gonna want to try and get that one on
<v Speaker 1>top of that, Like, that's a huge install base of
<v Speaker 1>people that might want that. You think about limited run
<v Speaker 1>games when they release an indie game as a physical
<v Speaker 1>and they do a small run of like five thousand copies.
<v Speaker 1>But that's like an indie game from limited run, and
<v Speaker 1>I can guarantee you like most people don't haven't heard
<v Speaker 1>of limited run, like it's kind of a niche thing, right,
<v Speaker 1>And that's five thousand, and they sell out and they
<v Speaker 1>become scalped. So like, what's PlayStation thinking, Like, surely they
<v Speaker 1>know twelve thousand is not enough and it's it's it's
<v Speaker 1>all gonna get scalped. I don't have anything pulled up
<v Speaker 1>right now. I think I could maybe scroll down spawn
<v Speaker 1>Waves Twitter, because I know he tweeted it. But I
<v Speaker 1>mean that being sold online for like three thousand, thirty
<v Speaker 1>five hundred.
<v Speaker 2>Oh whoa, Okay, well that guy forgot where zero's go.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, this guy, I don't know what this guy was
<v Speaker 1>thinking thirty five thousand, Yeah he missed zero. That's insane.
<v Speaker 1>But yeah, I mean they're instantly being scalped and bought.
<v Speaker 1>I might add that the insane if you go to
<v Speaker 1>sold sold listings on eBay, people are buying from those prices.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I just I don't know, just on principle. I
<v Speaker 2>mean the scalping part sucks also, but like buying something
<v Speaker 2>that the other person doesn't even.
<v Speaker 1>Have yet, I know, and it's without going on a
<v Speaker 1>tangent about scalping, but it's everything now like we went
<v Speaker 1>to see Pearl Jam recently and we had to pay
<v Speaker 1>scalp for prices. Ye, and that's Pearl Jam who like
<v Speaker 1>sued ticket Master in like the nineties or whatever. And
<v Speaker 1>guess what we got our tickets?
<v Speaker 2>Fucking ticket Master.
<v Speaker 1>The hecking ticket Master. Bro. You're trying to and this
<v Speaker 1>you want to hear something wacky, Kimberly tune here. There's
<v Speaker 1>like a bear chair. There's like a chair that looks
<v Speaker 1>like a little bear. God.
<v Speaker 2>It's one of those home goods.
<v Speaker 1>It's at home Goods and it's like, I guess blown
<v Speaker 1>up on TikTok and Kim's been going to every home
<v Speaker 1>goods trying to find this bad chair. Every home Well,
<v Speaker 1>We've been to a lot of home goods in the
<v Speaker 1>last few weeks.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I just went to the ones near us because
<v Speaker 2>I'm like, surely.
<v Speaker 1>They'll have one, but you know where they are. They're
<v Speaker 1>on McCary, They're oncy being scaled two nd a bad
<v Speaker 1>chair from home Goods. And that's this year. Like last year,
<v Speaker 1>we spent the an equal amount of time going to
<v Speaker 1>every Marshall's Home Goods, TJ Max whatever, whatever Taylor Swift
<v Speaker 1>Fans store. You can imagine trying to find a cookie
<v Speaker 1>jar that looked like an apple from from Lady in
<v Speaker 1>the is it wizards snow white apple, snow white apple
<v Speaker 1>and a cookie jar And I almost bought it for
<v Speaker 1>you for Christmas from.
<v Speaker 2>McCary from a scalper And I said, don't.
<v Speaker 1>We were just lucky because I think we walked into
<v Speaker 1>a lunch box. We have.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, we happened to go into box lunch and they
<v Speaker 2>were lunchbox. I blame TikTok for a lot of that
<v Speaker 2>because the the.
<v Speaker 1>What Sorry, I'm just scalpers. I'm just scalpers. It's everything.
<v Speaker 1>It's every it's in everything. There's something that exists that's good,
<v Speaker 1>it's scalped. Yes, the Levi statue, I had a hard
<v Speaker 1>time finding one that wasn't a scalped one. Oh really,
<v Speaker 1>I linked you. I'm pretty sure isn't the scalped But
<v Speaker 1>like there were other like attack on Titan figures I
<v Speaker 1>wanted that were all like on Ebane's scalp. What were
<v Speaker 1>you going to say when I screamed, Uh, It's probably.
<v Speaker 2>A lot of the same with the scalper mentality of
<v Speaker 2>like feeling like you have to hurry up and get
<v Speaker 2>something so that you can actually have it, rather than
<v Speaker 2>having the ability to just leave it at the store
<v Speaker 2>and think about it for a little bit and maybe
<v Speaker 2>I want it, maybe I don't. The impulse purchase and
<v Speaker 2>it sucks.
<v Speaker 1>Man, it's in everything. I mean, I'm going back to
<v Speaker 1>Poe Jam. But like, we were standing in a line
<v Speaker 1>of merch trying to get the poster because they have
<v Speaker 1>an exclusive poster in every store, and they were letting
<v Speaker 1>everybody by two. It was a two minimum, and we
<v Speaker 1>were like ten people behind getting this poster. And then
<v Speaker 1>they were like, so are we sold out ten people
<v Speaker 1>ahead of us? Like, sorry, we in line. I'm standing
<v Speaker 1>in line.
<v Speaker 2>I pull up eBay. These fuckers are already putting them
<v Speaker 2>on eBay for three hundred dollars. I'm like, it was
<v Speaker 2>forty five dollars when you buy it.
<v Speaker 1>We were in the line though, like they were on
<v Speaker 1>sale for like half an hour and we were in
<v Speaker 1>the line told they were sold out. Yeah, and while
<v Speaker 1>waiting in the line, we saw one on eBay.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, that's insane, it's bad. It's ridiculous. Just let the
<v Speaker 2>people that actually want the stuff have the stuff. Why
<v Speaker 2>are you buying it if you don't actually want it.
<v Speaker 1>So going back to PlayStation. You guys know that these
<v Speaker 1>web these these pre order websites or whatever that you
<v Speaker 1>set up with a waiting room and all that crap.
<v Speaker 1>It's all butts waiting to buy them. Yeah, you know
<v Speaker 1>they're all going to get scalped. There needs to either
<v Speaker 1>be a better way, some other system in place, a
<v Speaker 1>staggered system, a spontaneous release system that bots can account for,
<v Speaker 1>or something I don't know, or just do more so
<v Speaker 1>that the value doesn't get drove up. Do just enough
<v Speaker 1>that maybe you have some leftover in a store, or
<v Speaker 1>that you can earn in a warehouse somewhere. It's okay
<v Speaker 1>to have some left over, you'll so you can sell
<v Speaker 1>them later. Like, just make enough that they don't have
<v Speaker 1>to be scalped. I woke up that they went on
<v Speaker 1>sale at ten am, our time. I woke up at
<v Speaker 1>nine and I opened my phone to get in line,
<v Speaker 1>to get in the queue, and it immediately said line
<v Speaker 1>has been paused. And I left my phone open for
<v Speaker 1>the whole hour and it just never moved past line
<v Speaker 1>has been paused because there was just too many people
<v Speaker 1>in the line. Yeah, and by the time I finally
<v Speaker 1>got in all the anniversary whatever was sold, and I
<v Speaker 1>was just trying to at that point, I was like,
<v Speaker 1>I'll just order a pro because I want to review
<v Speaker 1>it on the channel anyway. But the site was broken.
<v Speaker 1>Oh and it wouldn't let me sign in to buy anything,
<v Speaker 1>which is fine because I can probably buy a pro whenever.
<v Speaker 1>I'm sure that they'll make enough of those. Yeah, but
<v Speaker 1>twelve thousand, Kimberley, that's not enough for like our little
<v Speaker 1>county that we're in.
<v Speaker 3>Now, that's for the world. It's twelve thousand for the world. Yeah,
<v Speaker 3>there's two billion people in the world, Kim. Yeah, No,
<v Speaker 3>six billion. How many people are in the world.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>I think it's like six billion. Actually, sorry about that?
<v Speaker 1>Where's chat? Sorry about that? You guys still listening to me? Yell?
<v Speaker 1>Someone said, Kim said the F word. Yeah, you're looking
<v Speaker 1>at big d fault. When is the switch to coming out?
<v Speaker 1>Would stop stalling? We talked about it, but like a
<v Speaker 1>like March April, did you just growl at me, young lady?
<v Speaker 2>No, she's telling me she has to. Can you do
<v Speaker 2>that for a minute.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I can. Dollar's got to.
<v Speaker 2>I don't want her to have an accident. She's been
<v Speaker 2>very good.
<v Speaker 1>So sorry, I was just sorry. What are your listeners
<v Speaker 1>and and and video listeners? I was just staring at
<v Speaker 1>Dollar again, her legs wrapped around the light cord as
<v Speaker 1>Ali jumped at it to try and save it. Just
<v Speaker 1>fear and panic going through my eyes, thinking that it
<v Speaker 1>was about to fall down, all right, if I had
<v Speaker 1>to put money on it. When this thing comes out,
<v Speaker 1>I'm gonna say April. I'm gonna say April. They did
<v Speaker 1>March last time, so it's an easy, easy bet to say.
<v Speaker 1>It would be cool if they did March third again.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, it works so well, but just the way
<v Speaker 1>things are these days, I feel like everything gets at
<v Speaker 1>least a little bit delayed. So I'm gonna say April.
<v Speaker 1>And I think that well and doesn't that well and
<v Speaker 1>truly puts into a new physical year too. Did Eddie
<v Speaker 1>talk about scalpers? You mean Eddie Vetter at Pearl jam No,
<v Speaker 1>he didn't mention them at all. Wood's face. Yeah, sorry
<v Speaker 1>about that, all right. I'm gonna keep moving on with
<v Speaker 1>some things I have in the dock. Hit you don't
<v Speaker 1>want to sit in alle ninety everybody, I'd give you, Actually,
<v Speaker 1>I think I can give you a round of applause,
<v Speaker 1>but I find it.
<v Speaker 2>Can you give me like a physical round of applause?
<v Speaker 1>Let me see here I can. But I can do
<v Speaker 1>this too.
<v Speaker 2>Maybe yeah, yeah.
<v Speaker 1>No, no, I hit the crickets button and the button
<v Speaker 1>I hit way too many things.
<v Speaker 2>More crickets please. It makes everything I say just crickets.
<v Speaker 1>It makes it seem like the episode's going bad if
<v Speaker 1>I do crickets. Thanks for being here, you cut. You
<v Speaker 1>came to hang out for a couple of days, and
<v Speaker 1>it's very exciting here. You've only seen it at night
<v Speaker 1>and we we we got ramen and a milkshake. But
<v Speaker 1>what did you think?
<v Speaker 2>The milkshake was great? The ramen was great, and also
<v Speaker 2>the trees a great.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah. So you see it in the day.
<v Speaker 2>I've seen like out your window. Yeah, you did this
<v Speaker 2>this much during the day.
<v Speaker 1>I feel bad because we've been stuck in all day
<v Speaker 1>because I had to do this. But we're going to
<v Speaker 1>go explore some places meet up and meet up in
<v Speaker 1>Doyle's Town, fellow, Pennsylvania.
<v Speaker 2>What is a Doyle's Town.
<v Speaker 1>It's a town. It's a cute little town.
<v Speaker 2>I mean, I have to trust you on this.
<v Speaker 1>Sah, yes, here, you can do you can do this
<v Speaker 1>article with me before we sub Kim back in. If
<v Speaker 1>you heard a Deadlock, I have heard it.
<v Speaker 2>Unluck, I don't know much about it.
<v Speaker 1>There, so actually I think Kim would find this cute too.
<v Speaker 1>So Deadlock is a new game by Valve that I
<v Speaker 1>just found this adorable. That's it's like Legal Legends or Dodo,
<v Speaker 1>So it's like that, but like a first person shooter.
<v Speaker 2>All I'm seeing right now is frog.
<v Speaker 1>So here's the thing. Deadlock's new anti cheat let's players
<v Speaker 1>turn cheaterahs into frogs for the rest of the game.
<v Speaker 2>Can I just be a frog even if I'm not
<v Speaker 2>a cheaterd though, because that feels like a way of
<v Speaker 2>life for me.
<v Speaker 1>I love this so much. When a user is detected
<v Speaker 1>as cheating during the game session, the opponents will be
<v Speaker 1>given a choice between banning the user immediately and ending
<v Speaker 1>the match, or turning the cheetah into a frog for
<v Speaker 1>the rest of the game and banning them after. How
<v Speaker 1>adorable is that?
<v Speaker 2>That's wholesome?
<v Speaker 1>But I honestly just want the option to play as
<v Speaker 1>a frog, because that to me would sell the game
<v Speaker 1>to me. You play fun a fantasy rebirth? I know
<v Speaker 1>you haven't. Yeah, I have you have? Oh you plays
<v Speaker 1>a frog in that?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah? I know.
<v Speaker 1>Do you like that?
<v Speaker 2>I didn't like the frog.
<v Speaker 1>Fud that's your favorite part of the game.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, that's great.
<v Speaker 1>All right, thanks for joining us, Ali, I appreciate it.
<v Speaker 1>Alie niney on YouTube and Twitch just put out a new,
<v Speaker 1>very unsponsored video about Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed, which just got delayed.
<v Speaker 1>Actually all right, we got someone Nintendo stuff about the museum.
<v Speaker 1>There's two things about Nintendo's Museum, which I is it open?
<v Speaker 2>Is it?
<v Speaker 1>Did she poop?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah?
<v Speaker 1>Just making sure it was so quick. Yeah, this is
<v Speaker 1>really interesting. This is actually from our friend Luigi Blood.
<v Speaker 1>You remember Luigi Blood?
<v Speaker 2>Is that the person that leaked?
<v Speaker 1>That's I don't. I don't, I don't remember. I just remember.
<v Speaker 1>I make on of I just make fun of him
<v Speaker 1>all the time in like a nice way. It's just
<v Speaker 1>like I think he's like a four chan leaker or something,
<v Speaker 1>and I don't know he'd recently we covered a leak
<v Speaker 1>he did that I think ended up being wrong. So
<v Speaker 1>now every time I quote some random leaker, I call
<v Speaker 1>him like Mario Cream or oh just Mario Cream, sixty
<v Speaker 1>nine said, But this is actually just him reporting on something.
<v Speaker 1>Miamoto said, I shed this in the Nintendo Discord and
<v Speaker 1>him and Maxwell laughing at me about how Luigi Blood
<v Speaker 1>is like the unofficial new member of the show the
<v Speaker 1>amount of times I talk about him. Miyamoto confirmed they're
<v Speaker 1>using a switch to emulate the Virtual Boy at the
<v Speaker 1>Nintendo Museum during an interview with IG in Japan. So yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I mean, Miamoto said, they have a Virtual Boy on display,
<v Speaker 1>which is a hard way that's not often seen in
<v Speaker 1>the public eye. We're using a switch to emulate the
<v Speaker 1>Virtual Boy. So if you look closely you can see
<v Speaker 1>three D images from back then. That's super interesting. I
<v Speaker 1>wonder what software they're running to emulate it. But also
<v Speaker 1>I just it would be cool if they actually brought
<v Speaker 1>that out on the switch. I mean, I know it's
<v Speaker 1>a little late now, but if you use the LABOVR,
<v Speaker 1>there's no reason why you can't put the Virtual Boy
<v Speaker 1>games on the switch. Just utilizing the labor VR, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>not something you're interested in.
<v Speaker 2>I'm trying to figure out how they're going to do
<v Speaker 2>the labor thing for the updated one.
<v Speaker 1>They won't probably, I doubt they're going to do lay
<v Speaker 1>the Virtual Boy games.
<v Speaker 2>Could you not hmm to play them on the next switch, Well.
<v Speaker 1>You would just use Labor VR the cardboard. Yeah, I
<v Speaker 1>mean there are there are third party accessories out there
<v Speaker 1>that have made VR headsets that replica what the Labor does.
<v Speaker 1>You could buy one of those. But the thing, my
<v Speaker 1>thing is if Nintendo were publishing it, they're going to
<v Speaker 1>have to provide a way of viewing it themselves. Like
<v Speaker 1>they're not going to say, hey, we put Virtual Boy
<v Speaker 1>on the switch, get one of those third party accessories.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, they can't say that.
<v Speaker 1>So it's either going to be they could either they
<v Speaker 1>can either just do it and then release a Virtual
<v Speaker 1>Boy headset like they did with the N sixty four
<v Speaker 1>controller and the Nest Control and you just would be
<v Speaker 1>or they just put it out there and they say, hey,
<v Speaker 1>use the Labor.
<v Speaker 2>They're not even selling the label anymore, are they? They
<v Speaker 2>clear and still out They're gone.
<v Speaker 1>Well then yeah, I guess the best.
<v Speaker 2>Thing is they would have to make a new thing is.
<v Speaker 1>To release a little VR headset, which I mean, would
<v Speaker 1>it not have a couple other uses? I mean, I'm
<v Speaker 1>pretty sure you can do Smash Brothers, Mario Odyssey, not links.
<v Speaker 2>What's the other one?
<v Speaker 1>Mario Odyssey and Breath of the Wild all have VR options,
<v Speaker 1>so they could say, hey, this is for the Virtual Boy,
<v Speaker 1>and also if you want to use it on these
<v Speaker 1>select titles, you can.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>I mean that they'd only be thirteen games because that's
<v Speaker 1>all that was on the Virtual Boy.
<v Speaker 2>Is that enough for them to make a headset.
<v Speaker 1>Enough for them to do to go through any of
<v Speaker 1>this work and effort, especially when only like two of
<v Speaker 1>those games are good, like the Tennis game and the
<v Speaker 1>Warrior Ware game or the Warrior game. Yeah, and I
<v Speaker 1>think I think that was like the only ones people
<v Speaker 1>really liked. But I'm I'm a sucker for Nintendo and
<v Speaker 1>I'll buy it. Interesting though interesting. The other thing is
<v Speaker 1>about the museum. Also. I didn't mention this at the top,
<v Speaker 1>but thank you everybody for joining us here on Friday.
<v Speaker 1>I've been I was streaming Zelder Echoes of Wisdom all
<v Speaker 1>Wednesday and then my plan was to stream it Thursday.
<v Speaker 1>But I streamed for thirteen hours the first day, and
<v Speaker 1>then I appreciate everybody that was there for the stream
<v Speaker 1>the second day, but I got three hours in and
<v Speaker 1>just massively hit a wall. I was like, I just
<v Speaker 1>I can't, I can't keep streaming. So I uh, I
<v Speaker 1>had to bail. I had to bail, and I had
<v Speaker 1>to go. I had to go decompress. Actually almost I
<v Speaker 1>think I did fall asleep, Actually didn't. I yeah, I
<v Speaker 1>can't remember. I was. I went and lied down and
<v Speaker 1>the next thing I knew, it was like two hours
<v Speaker 1>had passed. Here's the museum store. This is the merch
<v Speaker 1>they have. Are you kidding me? This is sick. The
<v Speaker 1>Nintendo Museum merch store is actually insane. But I think
<v Speaker 1>my favorite items are the comedically oversized plush controller. Oh
<v Speaker 1>I want this so bad, Kimberly, I know, Oh I
<v Speaker 1>need this in my life. There's a giant and sixty
<v Speaker 1>four controller. I mean, if you guys watched or listen
<v Speaker 1>to the podcast when we were talking about the museum
<v Speaker 1>in general and all the massive controllers they have out
<v Speaker 1>on display that are working controllers that you can use,
<v Speaker 1>they've obviously leaned into that and they've made giant replica plushies. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I want it. I want and need them all. I
<v Speaker 1>highly doubt they'll sell them outside of the store.
<v Speaker 2>Oauz, you can find a third party website.
<v Speaker 1>What Kimberly a scalpook.
<v Speaker 2>Well that are like one of those services where you
<v Speaker 2>like pay the guy to go buy it for you
<v Speaker 2>and then they mail it to you.
<v Speaker 1>That's another thing, by the way, that was scalped now
<v Speaker 1>that you're reminding of me about Nintendo in Japan. Last
<v Speaker 1>time we went, we wanted to go to the Pokemon Cafe.
<v Speaker 1>Oh right, because the first time we went to Japan,
<v Speaker 1>we went to the Pokemon Cafe. And here's how you
<v Speaker 1>book the Pokemon Cafe. A month in advance, the cafe
<v Speaker 1>will release that date for booking, So a month like
<v Speaker 1>thirty days out, you can book to go to the
<v Speaker 1>cafe in thirty days and it's free to book. It's
<v Speaker 1>completely free to book. You just book a time, you
<v Speaker 1>put down your email and your number, then that's your
<v Speaker 1>time that you'll go to the cafe. And that's how
<v Speaker 1>we did it the first time. Somebody since we went
<v Speaker 1>in twenty nineteen found a nice little racket for themselves
<v Speaker 1>where they just book up every single time slot and
<v Speaker 1>then sell them on like wherever you sell them. I
<v Speaker 1>don't know, McCary probably, it's always McCary, yeah, usually, or
<v Speaker 1>Craigslist or Facebook, marketplace or whatever. And so our friends
<v Speaker 1>actually went because they paid like it was like fifty
<v Speaker 1>dollars a person. Yeah, but they paid somebody, yeah, who
<v Speaker 1>reserved them for.
<v Speaker 2>Free exactly and then had to pay on top.
<v Speaker 1>Kind of scalping. I refuse to go. I was like, no,
<v Speaker 1>that little fat Pikachu could cook by himself. I want
<v Speaker 1>nothing to do with him this time. Fix it.
<v Speaker 2>They're just letting the same person reserve all of the
<v Speaker 2>time slots. You think that they wouldn't let them do that, but.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know. They're probably using different emails and different
<v Speaker 1>phone numbers. It's probably that whole career. It's probably that
<v Speaker 1>whole last job just to make.
<v Speaker 2>You could have gotten a real job. The amount of
<v Speaker 2>time and effort you've put into I'm just saying.
<v Speaker 1>To make emails and phone numbers and accounts, to book
<v Speaker 1>out all these things and then sell them all. Oh god,
<v Speaker 1>people will annoy me so much anyway. Yeah, we could
<v Speaker 1>either pay scalpers or Nintendo. I mean we went to
<v Speaker 1>Nintendo's the stores in Japan, like their their actual stores.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, you can't buy any of that stuff online. It's
<v Speaker 1>all like specific to the store. I mean, you can
<v Speaker 1>buy it from scalpers, but like the unique things in
<v Speaker 1>every store usually not. I mean, like maybe maybe I'm wrong,
<v Speaker 1>but like I don't think you can like a lot
<v Speaker 1>of the little like like, for example, the the Mario
<v Speaker 1>and Zelda figure that me and Bob bought. You can
<v Speaker 1>only get those by going to the store, I'm pretty sure.
<v Speaker 2>But the mug that you wanted that they were sold
<v Speaker 2>out of at the store. I went online and there
<v Speaker 2>was like a Japanese company that did the thing. I
<v Speaker 2>don't know what they call it. It's like a back
<v Speaker 2>and buy it. They buy it for you and they
<v Speaker 2>sell it to you for the same price.
<v Speaker 1>Well if it's the same price, yeah, I'm okay with it.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, it's just like a what do you call it service?
<v Speaker 2>Not a courier service, but whatever it is, you just
<v Speaker 2>pay for the shipping.
<v Speaker 1>I mean. Still, that means Nintendo aren't going to sell
<v Speaker 1>these online, but if we can find a.
<v Speaker 2>Way, I'm not the way. What does that price.
<v Speaker 1>Say, thirteen thousand, two hundred yen, which is like one
<v Speaker 1>hundred and thirty.
<v Speaker 2>Dollars hundred and thirty dollars for one.
<v Speaker 1>I'll take three, please, good lord, I'll take seven please.
<v Speaker 1>I mean it's massive, and it looks soft like, it
<v Speaker 1>looks like it has that fab you know, that fabric
<v Speaker 1>that you touch and it changes and you can write
<v Speaker 1>in it, kind of the velvet. I mean, it looks nice. Kimberley,
<v Speaker 1>come on, one dollars Jesus.
<v Speaker 2>Well, actually it's less because the conversion rate.
<v Speaker 1>What does that mean?
<v Speaker 2>One hundred and thirty thousand is less than one hundred
<v Speaker 2>and thirty dollars.
<v Speaker 1>I don't really know exactly. I just go dollar for
<v Speaker 1>a dollar. It's like a dollar for every thousand yen
<v Speaker 1>or something every one hundred yen.
<v Speaker 2>The American dollar's worth more right now?
<v Speaker 1>Over there, three things a little cheaper, a little Well,
<v Speaker 1>then we got to get four.
<v Speaker 2>I don't think we need four.
<v Speaker 1>Well, we got to get all of them. We got
<v Speaker 1>to get the way we get one of each for sure.
<v Speaker 1>But I wonder if that's old. I wonder if they
<v Speaker 1>have like a GameCube one someway maybe. Oh I'd lose
<v Speaker 1>my mind if there's a GameCube one.
<v Speaker 2>I saw other pictures of the the museum store, and
<v Speaker 2>they have like merch for everything. They had like a
<v Speaker 2>whole virtual boy section. Huh, they'd like a whole virtual
<v Speaker 2>voice section in the museum store.
<v Speaker 1>Oh.
<v Speaker 2>Really like stuff you could get Yeah, each console has
<v Speaker 2>like its own little section that you can get stuff for.
<v Speaker 1>Pandy says, there's only ninety two us D.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, that's what I'm saying.
<v Speaker 1>It's gone down even more. No, I know, I'm just
<v Speaker 1>saying they did the math ninety two? We'll take seven?
<v Speaker 1>How many controller pillows to build a bet? I wanted
<v Speaker 1>to ask MOK what is not actually complaining about getting
<v Speaker 1>what we want? White one ticks? What does that mean
<v Speaker 1>Kim can make it for cheap? I'm not even sure
<v Speaker 1>if that's true. I mean, that's a big pillow.
<v Speaker 2>It's a large pillow if you can cheat a lot
<v Speaker 2>of things, but foam is obscenely expensive.
<v Speaker 1>Could Kim make a sick one? Yes? I could pillow
<v Speaker 1>down there you made?
<v Speaker 2>That's very nice that and then the switch ones around
<v Speaker 2>there somewhere. But yeah.
<v Speaker 1>One of the last things I got for you guys
<v Speaker 1>before I start panicking and trying to fill the last
<v Speaker 1>five minutes of the show is I've been playing zouder
<v Speaker 1>a lot, as I said.
<v Speaker 2>And.
<v Speaker 1>In the game you clone things and then you use
<v Speaker 1>those things to like get around and the level or
<v Speaker 1>like manipulate things. Right, And obviously one that was in
<v Speaker 1>the trailer, and one that I leaned into a lot
<v Speaker 1>on my playthrough was spawning an ungodly amount of beds
<v Speaker 1>to platform Nindendo have leaned into this meme and you
<v Speaker 1>can now get a bed avatar for your switch if
<v Speaker 1>you want your logo, your little avatar logo to just
<v Speaker 1>be the bed from Zelda Echoes of Wisdom. It's actually
<v Speaker 1>listed under characters, So the bed in Echoes of Wisdom
<v Speaker 1>is now Canony, a character in the Zelda universe. That's
<v Speaker 1>pretty fuck Another one you can get, which my community
<v Speaker 1>was really liking, was this the little sea urchin. Ut
<v Speaker 1>I used him non stop. Yeah, he's so op. He's
<v Speaker 1>like the first thing, the first creature you clone, and
<v Speaker 1>I swear to god, boss battles, just general like fights
<v Speaker 1>or anything in the game. I was just spamming sea
<v Speaker 1>urchins and yelling sea urch and sea urch and sea
<v Speaker 1>urchin like they were magic spells. Yeah, and nothing could
<v Speaker 1>touch me. Yeah, because yeah, it created a barrier and
<v Speaker 1>they would just walk into it. Yeah, it's awesome.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, it's a.
<v Speaker 1>Little silly, it's a little goofy, but.
<v Speaker 2>I think that's kind of the point.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah. No, I really liked the game. I mean I
<v Speaker 1>put out first impressions on my main beat him Ups
<v Speaker 1>channel and you can check that out if you haven't.
<v Speaker 1>I played for thirteen hours straight and I loved every
<v Speaker 1>second I I was addicted to it. It wasn't like
<v Speaker 1>uh Ta's of the Kingdom for me, I mean Tears
<v Speaker 1>of the Kingdom. I had a smile on my face
<v Speaker 1>the whole time I played that game, like it was
<v Speaker 1>it was a religious experience for me. Like I knew
<v Speaker 1>I was playing something that would go down as one of,
<v Speaker 1>if not my favorite game. Yeah, this definitely feels like
<v Speaker 1>a one time playthrough kind of game, Like I don't
<v Speaker 1>know if I'll go back to it, but I'm having
<v Speaker 1>a lot of fun with it still, and like I'm
<v Speaker 1>acknowledging it's very cute. You would really like it.
<v Speaker 2>I'm gonna play it for sure.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I think you should.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah. I do think it's more of like a not
<v Speaker 2>necessarily introductory level Zelda game, but it's definitely, yeah, geared
<v Speaker 2>more towards younger people or people that are you know.
<v Speaker 1>Well, I mean, yes, for a Zelda game, I think
<v Speaker 1>maybe good slightly. I don't think it's good any any
<v Speaker 1>younger than any other two D Zelda has been Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>that's yeah, and I will say that I talked about
<v Speaker 1>it in my video briefly, but the difficulty does start
<v Speaker 1>picking up in some of the latest Yeah, I did
<v Speaker 1>notice that, and also like it can depend on what
<v Speaker 1>you try to do. Like sometimes I tried something out
<v Speaker 1>and it just wasn't really, like in a boss fight
<v Speaker 1>and it just wasn't working, and then I died and
<v Speaker 1>I'm like okay, But then I tried something different and
<v Speaker 1>then all of a sudden it was way too easy.
<v Speaker 1>But that's kind of just the flow of the game.
<v Speaker 1>I didn't want to spend my whole first Impressions video
<v Speaker 1>talking about things I didn't like about the game, because
<v Speaker 1>ultimately I do like it. The only thing I really
<v Speaker 1>focused on was the UI is so bad, like trying
<v Speaker 1>to use the menus for all of the items and.
<v Speaker 2>Everything that you can't scroll, which it sucks odd.
<v Speaker 1>But if I had to complain about something else, I
<v Speaker 1>would say that there are definitely times where there's a
<v Speaker 1>fight of some kind, there's some kind of enemy, and
<v Speaker 1>I just Pokemon throw out whatever I want to fight it,
<v Speaker 1>and then I'm just kind of like waiting, Yeah, you.
<v Speaker 2>Don't really way you could, but you don't have to
<v Speaker 2>you could.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, I don't want to give too many spoilers.
<v Speaker 1>There is a a power up you can activate that
<v Speaker 1>has a limited time use that allows you to manually attack.
<v Speaker 1>That's the best way I'm going to do it without
<v Speaker 1>spoiling anything good. But I mean, you use it up,
<v Speaker 1>then you're back to where you were, you.
<v Speaker 2>Know, urchins at themand for the best. Well.
<v Speaker 1>Another reason why I like Sea Urchin is I'm actively
<v Speaker 1>spamming it so it feels like I'm fighting. It's almost
<v Speaker 1>like I'm like attacking with a sword. But like there's
<v Speaker 1>like strong enemies with like AI that you can clone
<v Speaker 1>that will just go to work fighting for you.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, that's cool.
<v Speaker 1>Those that they are cool, But that's where you end
<v Speaker 1>up just kind of sitting back and wait.
<v Speaker 2>That's also another option in the game that they give
<v Speaker 2>you though. If you don't care about box fights, you
<v Speaker 2>can just let it do it. If you just want
<v Speaker 2>to do the puzzles, you could just throw some guys
<v Speaker 2>out there and just you know, wait.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I mean, yeah, there's definitely options. I saw other
<v Speaker 1>people complaining that, like a there's very clearly creatures and
<v Speaker 1>enemies that are way more powerful, full and helpful then
<v Speaker 1>ninety percent of them. Yeah, because yeah, I have like
<v Speaker 1>fifty creatures cloned useless stuff, and ninety percent of them
<v Speaker 1>there's no point even looking at them again, like they're
<v Speaker 1>not going to do a damn thing. And then you
<v Speaker 1>have like that five percent that is just so strong
<v Speaker 1>and like you just pick one that you like and
<v Speaker 1>then right wreck every day. The War's cool, Yeah, but yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I like it a lot. The exploration is pretty fun.
<v Speaker 1>I described it in my video as a as a
<v Speaker 1>mix between link between worlds, Links Awakening and Tiers of
<v Speaker 1>the Kingdom. That's all mesh of all of them. The
<v Speaker 1>last dungeon I did I didn't like, so there's there's
<v Speaker 1>only one dungeon in the game. I think I have
<v Speaker 1>one dungeon left, and out of all of them, I
<v Speaker 1>think I've done four, there's only one that I really
<v Speaker 1>viscerally didn't like.
<v Speaker 2>I think that's a general consensus, though a lot of
<v Speaker 2>people said they hated that when they saved it for last.
<v Speaker 1>We'll see, We'll see what people think overall, but I
<v Speaker 1>would definitely compare it to like the Water Temple and
<v Speaker 1>our Karina. At times, it was h my biggest thing,
<v Speaker 1>and I want to go back and I want to
<v Speaker 1>like reassess my play through and see if I was
<v Speaker 1>if I just maybe I'm wrong. But all the dungeons
<v Speaker 1>and all the game up until then, you could solve
<v Speaker 1>literally everything the way you want to solve it, and
<v Speaker 1>then randomly in this dungeon out of nowhere, there are
<v Speaker 1>very specific puzzles that don't for the first time in
<v Speaker 1>the game, don't involve having to clone something like that. No,
<v Speaker 1>none of the mechanics that you've been using. It's like
<v Speaker 1>an actual puzzle, and you actually have to do a
<v Speaker 1>little bit of like backtracking to certain rooms. And it's
<v Speaker 1>like why now, And it's like my brain was my
<v Speaker 1>brain broke on it because I got stuck in this
<v Speaker 1>room and I could not figure out what I was
<v Speaker 1>supposed to do to progress, and every other part of
<v Speaker 1>the game the way to progress is just by trying
<v Speaker 1>some wacky cloning thing or some whacky way. But the
<v Speaker 1>answer was to leave that room, go back to a
<v Speaker 1>previous room, switch a switch, and then come back. And
<v Speaker 1>I was like, oh, so that's like an actual Zelder
<v Speaker 1>strict linear puzzle mechanic. I wasn't expecting that out of nowhere.
<v Speaker 1>That's like thirteen hours into the game. Maybe that's why
<v Speaker 1>they did it. But it happened twice in that dungeon
<v Speaker 1>where there was like a specific way of solving something,
<v Speaker 1>and I was like, oh, that's oddly specifically strict and
<v Speaker 1>counteracts everything that you've that you've taught me through the
<v Speaker 1>rest of the game. So that and just the fact
<v Speaker 1>that the layout of that dungeon was really confusing. I
<v Speaker 1>just didn't like it personally, and I was really tired
<v Speaker 1>while I was playing it, and it hurt me.
<v Speaker 2>And I was in a dress and a wigad.
<v Speaker 1>I was cutting off circulation to my brain and I
<v Speaker 1>think the one brain cell that was active might have
<v Speaker 1>been the wig.
<v Speaker 2>I think the wig just tweaked. The one cell that
<v Speaker 2>was working the puzzle.
<v Speaker 1>Might have been the wig. Yeah, I think I just
<v Speaker 1>bailed and went to sleep. But I do want to
<v Speaker 1>pick it back. I'm trying to wait to play it more.
<v Speaker 1>I want to pick it back up and play it
<v Speaker 1>on stream still, because my community was really having fun
<v Speaker 1>with it, and so was I up until that one.
<v Speaker 2>You'll have fun with it without the wig.
<v Speaker 1>I think that's I think I might do it wigless.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, there was a lot of pressure for you to
<v Speaker 2>you know.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, yeah, the outfit. I think the outfit was fun
<v Speaker 1>the first day.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, the second day.
<v Speaker 1>I saw having to come back downstairs that second day.
<v Speaker 2>Grudgingly hand me please can you glue this to my head?
<v Speaker 1>That that second day, I was like, I don't know
<v Speaker 1>if I have this in me again. It was cute
<v Speaker 1>the first time.
<v Speaker 2>That's how everyone feels that wigs.
<v Speaker 1>Now I'm a man in a dress for the second
<v Speaker 1>day in a row.
<v Speaker 2>It's not fun. But yeah, the same problem with the
<v Speaker 2>Link costume the first day.
<v Speaker 1>Honestly, yeah, it's not any different.
<v Speaker 2>And then yeah, when those ears on, you're like, can
<v Speaker 2>we just not?
<v Speaker 1>That's the when I did The Tis of the Kingdom one,
<v Speaker 1>I was in the Link costume for eleven days straight. Yep,
<v Speaker 1>I actually forgot about that. I did eleven days.
<v Speaker 2>Didn't you have to replace the costume at one point
<v Speaker 2>because you just fulked out of it? You were just
<v Speaker 2>so sick of it.
<v Speaker 1>I had to buy a new costume. Well it was
<v Speaker 1>that and it started to stink. Well, yeah, because I
<v Speaker 1>was just downsidely playing this wedding for eleven days straight
<v Speaker 1>in the same outfit. Yeah, yeah, that was that was frue.
<v Speaker 1>I said to my chat when I signed off, I
<v Speaker 1>was like, you know, I think I might be too
<v Speaker 1>old to sit here in an out for thirteen straight
<v Speaker 1>hours more than once. Like I can get I can
<v Speaker 1>give it to you.
<v Speaker 2>Once one day. Yeah, you know, day one.
<v Speaker 1>That whole time I was streaming too. My personal trainer
<v Speaker 1>was screaming at me, like why haven't you updated your food?
<v Speaker 1>Why haven't you worked out today? Paul, my manager, was
<v Speaker 1>messaging me like, hey, where's all the sponsor stuff? You're
<v Speaker 1>supposed to do this today? And I was just sat
<v Speaker 1>there like I have too many responsibilities in my life
<v Speaker 1>to be sat here for thirteen hours. I can't do this.
<v Speaker 1>I am really glad that I did it, though, because
<v Speaker 1>there was so much fun that first day and then
<v Speaker 1>three time, and then I immediately made a first Impressions video,
<v Speaker 1>and I think that video turned out really fun considering
<v Speaker 1>I filmed it after thirteen hours of streaming. Yeah, it's
<v Speaker 1>just the next day, I was like, you were done.
<v Speaker 1>I was done. I didn't realize I was done. But
<v Speaker 1>I'm not a I'm being a princess about being a princess.
<v Speaker 1>I don't want to be a princess.
<v Speaker 2>Anymore you want to be a man again?
<v Speaker 1>All Right, I think that's our show. I mean, that's
<v Speaker 1>everything I wanted to talk about. I hope you guys
<v Speaker 1>had a good time. I hope you guys had fun.
<v Speaker 1>I'm gonna try really hard next week to not talk
<v Speaker 1>about the switch to unless unless there's any like crazy
<v Speaker 1>new rumors or we actually do get to see it
<v Speaker 1>between now and there.
<v Speaker 2>I'm sure.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I just wanted. I thought it'd be fun to
<v Speaker 1>lead with it today, just because we're literally the day
<v Speaker 1>after that window of that first window that we were
<v Speaker 1>that we were supposedly in, but now that we're out
<v Speaker 1>of it, we're just gonna wait and see what happens.
<v Speaker 1>But you're one hundred percent going to talk about the
<v Speaker 1>switch to next week. Well, you can't help it, I
<v Speaker 1>will say, even though I don't want to, and I'm
<v Speaker 1>saying right now, I'll try not to. It is the
<v Speaker 1>most exciting thing, and we talked about this. It's the
<v Speaker 1>most exciting thing happening right now in the switch space.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, because it's it really feels like it's happening.
<v Speaker 1>Like the company saying that they have it. The production
<v Speaker 1>company are from Nintendo that make their units ramping up production,
<v Speaker 1>everybody in the industry leaking that they're going to talk
<v Speaker 1>about it soon, people saying it's going to be March
<v Speaker 1>in April. Even Nintendo addressed it fairly recently. Oh I,
<v Speaker 1>in the bonus episode, Kim, I want to talk about
<v Speaker 1>what Miyamoto said about he doesn't want to be included
<v Speaker 1>in the console race and their thoughts on Ai and
<v Speaker 1>developing games moving forward. So we're going to talk about
<v Speaker 1>that in the bonus episode that I'm actually really interested
<v Speaker 1>in that. So if you guys want to listen to
<v Speaker 1>that or check that out, we'll have to go to
<v Speaker 1>the patreon a nontendo patreon again. And thank you so
<v Speaker 1>much for watching and listening today. We have a lot
<v Speaker 1>to do tonight, so I want to try and wrap
<v Speaker 1>this up now. But yeah, I think that's everything I'm
<v Speaker 1>trying to think. I think I covered it.
<v Speaker 2>I think you got all the bullet points you wrote down.
<v Speaker 1>Thank you again for sitting with me. I really appreciate you.
<v Speaker 1>Thank you for being our audience. Ali and Dahala. All Right, everybody,
<v Speaker 1>if you're listening, watching whatever it is you're doing right now,
<v Speaker 1>like comment, subscribe, rate the podcast. I really appreciate it.
<v Speaker 1>Also make sure to check the link in the description
<v Speaker 1>for surf Shark and support the sponsors that support us.
<v Speaker 1>We actually had two back to back believe it or not,
<v Speaker 1>which is so awesome and really does help the show.
<v Speaker 1>And the other way to help the show is by
<v Speaker 1>going to the Patreon. You get a bonus episode every
<v Speaker 1>single week, a whole thirty minute bonus episode. And we're
<v Speaker 1>about to do it live right now, me and Kim
<v Speaker 1>talking about me and Moto and then I'm finally going
<v Speaker 1>to go shower today because my hand looks terrible. All right, everybody,
<v Speaker 1>let me hit this music. Let me hit this Patreons
<v Speaker 1>scroll that I forgot. Dollar is, Oh my god, just
<v Speaker 1>moseying on down Dollar. You want to say goodbye Dollar,
<v Speaker 1>You want to shake a bye to people. Come a
<v Speaker 1>big girl. Come he a big girl.
<v Speaker 2>You have to lift her up shit and like the camera.
<v Speaker 1>Oh yeah, she is. This is why you gotta be
<v Speaker 1>a video viewer and not an audio listener.
<v Speaker 2>You can well she can breathe into the microphone For
<v Speaker 2>the audio listeners.
<v Speaker 1>You guys got a little lick. I don't know if
<v Speaker 1>you heard it. You might need to boost that volume
<v Speaker 1>to hear a little lick. All right, guys, Oh she's
<v Speaker 1>giving a big cuddle now, all right, all right? How
<v Speaker 1>many times were I to say, all right, kim mute,
<v Speaker 1>the mics, lower the volume, hit the outro wave, goodbye.
<v Speaker 1>Oh that was right on beat.
