Something Was Watching the Girls at the Ranch… A Florida Bigfoot Story (Monthly Visitations)

SASQUATCH THEORY

In this episode, I interview Karen — a horse rancher who spent part of her life in rural Florida, where she and several other young women began experiencing disturbing nighttime activity around their home. Karen would hear loud movements outside, but every time she turned the lights on, whatever was there vanished instantly.

One night, her cocker spaniels went wild, and Karen witnessed a tall, dark, long-legged Bigfoot bump directly into one of her outdoor dog cages. The creature had an unusual build: long legs, a small torso, and the ability to move across large distances in seconds.

The activity occurred monthly, always near a state park across the road. The girls in the house believed they were being stalked or watched. The ranch foreman dismissed their concerns, and soon the girls were forced off the property.

Karen now believes these experiences were connected to the UFO sightings she remembers happening in the area at the same time. Later in Iowa, she encountered chilling animal mutilations — including her cat being skinned and placed at her window — something she thinks may have been a deliberate message.

Karen has seen UFOs herself and has followed cases like the boy who vanished at Devil’s Lake in Wisconsin. Living near ancient burial mounds, she also believes giant skeletons may be hidden beneath the earth.

This is a wide-ranging conversation that connects Bigfoot, UFOs, indigenous legends, missing persons, and strange energies that follow certain people throughout their lives.

<v Speaker 1>Hey, everyone. In Welcome to Sasquatch Theory. In this episode,
<v Speaker 1>I speak with Karen, a lifelong horsewoman whose experiences stretched
<v Speaker 1>from the ranch lands of Florida all the way to
<v Speaker 1>the strange forest of the Midwest. What started as unexplained
<v Speaker 1>noises outside her window grew into a monthly pattern of
<v Speaker 1>activity that terrified the young woman living on the ranch.
<v Speaker 1>Something with long legs, dark hair, and an unnatural ability
<v Speaker 1>to move quickly was visiting the edge of the property,
<v Speaker 1>bumping into cages, peering through the windows, and pacing the
<v Speaker 1>yard whenever the dogs sounded the alarm. Across the road
<v Speaker 1>sat a state park miles of untouched wilderness, and something
<v Speaker 1>was crossing that boundary at night time. What makes Karen's
<v Speaker 1>story even stranger is how often these visitations coincided with
<v Speaker 1>UFO resorts in the same area, as if the activity
<v Speaker 1>on the ground and in the sky were somehow connected.
<v Speaker 1>In tonight's episode, Karen shares decades of strange encounters that
<v Speaker 1>challenge the line between the physical world and something far
<v Speaker 1>more mysterious. If you enjoy listening to Sasquatch Theory like
<v Speaker 1>the video, subscribe to the channel calming down below, and
<v Speaker 1>if you have a bigfoot encounter you would like to
<v Speaker 1>share with me here on the channel, feel free to
<v Speaker 1>reach out sometime at Sasquatch Theory at outlook dot com.
<v Speaker 1>So settle in. Let's step into Karen's world where bigfoot,
<v Speaker 1>UFOs and the unexplained All Clyde Karen, Welcome to Sasquatch Theory.
<v Speaker 1>How are you doing today?
<v Speaker 2>Pretty good?
<v Speaker 1>Good. It's a pleasure to have you on the show, Karen.
<v Speaker 1>If you would tell me a little bit about yourself,
<v Speaker 1>where you're from, and your experiences from the very beginning place.
<v Speaker 2>Okay, Well, I grew up in Iowa, and then I
<v Speaker 2>was going to college down at USF in Florida, lived
<v Speaker 2>near Tampa, and so I was going to college and
<v Speaker 2>I had a roommate that I took her to the
<v Speaker 2>American Invitational Horse Show and she goes, I want to
<v Speaker 2>do that, and I go seriously. So we started taking
<v Speaker 2>lessons together out at a farm called Two Rivers Ranch
<v Speaker 2>Two Rivers Hunt Club, which was just it's at the
<v Speaker 2>address is actually Zephyr Hills, but it was like across
<v Speaker 2>from the state park, and there was fox hunters out there,
<v Speaker 2>and there was a riding instructor and she gave hunt
<v Speaker 2>seat lessons and we started taking lessons. I was doing good.
<v Speaker 2>My roommate petered out and quit taking lessons, and I
<v Speaker 2>kept going out there, and then eventually I moved out there,
<v Speaker 2>and I was taking care of the fox hounds and
<v Speaker 2>living on a ranch, and I had a couple of
<v Speaker 2>cocker spaniels and it was an open area where the
<v Speaker 2>kitchen and dining room kind of all runs together, and
<v Speaker 2>then between the kitchen and dining room there was a
<v Speaker 2>hallway that went towards the outside, and in that hallway
<v Speaker 2>of the off of that hallway was a little washroom
<v Speaker 2>and I used to keep my cocker spaniels in that
<v Speaker 2>little room. And one we used to I had sometimes
<v Speaker 2>I had two roommates, but usually I just had one roommate,
<v Speaker 2>and about once a month, and I'm telling you, I
<v Speaker 2>didn't realize that at the time, but it was pretty
<v Speaker 2>much on a regular basis, like a once a month,
<v Speaker 2>and we would hear noises outside, and you know how
<v Speaker 2>when you are inside and you can't see outside because
<v Speaker 2>your lights are on, So we'd hurry up and try
<v Speaker 2>to get the lights off. But by the time we
<v Speaker 2>got the lights off to look out the window to
<v Speaker 2>see what was out there. It would be gone and
<v Speaker 2>we could hear it, and it was a wooshing, and
<v Speaker 2>it would It had to have had long legs because
<v Speaker 2>you could, you know how you can hear that it's
<v Speaker 2>close and then you can hear that it's far. It
<v Speaker 2>traveled fast. It was very fast, so it had to
<v Speaker 2>have long legs. Anyway, my dogs one night they were
<v Speaker 2>barking like bloody murder, barking like they were scared. And
<v Speaker 2>I had cleaned their kennel and it was laying out
<v Speaker 2>on the yard outside of the house area off that hallway,
<v Speaker 2>and the bigfoot bumped into that cage and that's the
<v Speaker 2>only reason why I saw him. And I only saw
<v Speaker 2>the back of him, and he was hairy, he was dark,
<v Speaker 2>and he was kind of like pumped over, like a
<v Speaker 2>slouched back. But he was tall, but his legs were long,
<v Speaker 2>his torso was short, his legs were long. I didn't
<v Speaker 2>ever see his face. But when these things would happen
<v Speaker 2>once a month, uh, you know, us girls in the house,
<v Speaker 2>we would be scared and we'd call the ranch foreman
<v Speaker 2>because you know, we didn't know what it was. We
<v Speaker 2>you know, is it a window peaker? We were on
<v Speaker 2>a ranch. I mean the property was huge. I mean
<v Speaker 2>the along the highway. It was six miles that the
<v Speaker 2>property was six miles along the highway, and so there
<v Speaker 2>was only three houses on the ranch, the riding instructor,
<v Speaker 2>us and the ranch foreman, and there was nothing across
<v Speaker 2>the road. Across the road was the state park, so
<v Speaker 2>there was no houses anywhere around. So like if somebody
<v Speaker 2>was out there window packing, they would have had to
<v Speaker 2>have driven there, which we never heard any cars anyway.
<v Speaker 2>So we'd call the ranch foreman and he pooh pooed us.
<v Speaker 2>He would come, but I mean he's driving up in
<v Speaker 2>his pickup truck with his headlights on with his engine running,
<v Speaker 2>so you know, of course he would never see it.
<v Speaker 2>And then when he talked to us, he'd go, oh,
<v Speaker 2>it's probably just an armadillo. And we knew it couldn't
<v Speaker 2>have been an armadillo. It couldn't travel. It traveled faster
<v Speaker 2>than armadelic could go. So we never the ranch forman
<v Speaker 2>never helped us at all. Eventually, Robert Thomas, the owner
<v Speaker 2>of the ranch, kicked us off. He kicked everybody off,
<v Speaker 2>He kicked the fox unders off, people boarded horses out, there.
<v Speaker 2>He kicked them all off. He just wanted it to
<v Speaker 2>be a cattle ranch. But I didn't notice at the time,
<v Speaker 2>and I never thought to look at see if I
<v Speaker 2>could see any footprints, or even when he tripped over
<v Speaker 2>my dog cage, if I could get any hairs off
<v Speaker 2>of the dog cage. You know, if I had it
<v Speaker 2>to do over again, i'd look for hairs so they
<v Speaker 2>could do a DNA on it. Nowadays they do DNA,
<v Speaker 2>they didn't really back then. This was in the nineteen seventies,
<v Speaker 2>late seventies, and so I didn't realize it at the time,
<v Speaker 2>but afterwards, maybe five ten years afterwards, it dawned on
<v Speaker 2>me that I remember hearing that there would be like
<v Speaker 2>a UFO report, like I could. You'd hear it on
<v Speaker 2>the radio that somebody reported a UFO, And it dawned
<v Speaker 2>on me years later that we would see we would
<v Speaker 2>hear the Bigfoot about the same time that there would
<v Speaker 2>be a UFO report or some UFO reports. I never
<v Speaker 2>put the two or two together at the time.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, that is very interesting. So you're saying when the
<v Speaker 1>UFO reports would take place, it was the same timeframe
<v Speaker 1>when you were experiencing Bigfoot activity.
<v Speaker 2>Yes, and it was always a full moon too.
<v Speaker 1>Oh wow, So you feel like the sasquatch would become
<v Speaker 1>active when it was a full moon. That's interesting. I've
<v Speaker 1>heard a lot of people mention that same behavior. Do
<v Speaker 1>you feel like the bigfoot was possibly attracted to you
<v Speaker 1>and the other girls or maybe it was fixed on
<v Speaker 1>the dogs? What are your thoughts about that?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I think it was us girls.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, so it had been watching you guys through the windows,
<v Speaker 1>which is creepy, but I mean the noises that you've
<v Speaker 1>that you heard out there, you couldn't dismiss there was
<v Speaker 1>definitely someone or something outside and.
<v Speaker 2>When yes, we could hear the footsteps, we could hear
<v Speaker 2>it washing away.
<v Speaker 1>Was it like like thump thump thump thump thump away
<v Speaker 1>or like what did it sound like? Like a swishing sound.
<v Speaker 2>Like whosh whosh whosh whosh whosh, like a big stride,
<v Speaker 2>like big strides going through grass.
<v Speaker 1>M So it's seem to know when you guys were
<v Speaker 1>alerted to its presence and when you got up and
<v Speaker 1>turn on the lights and you were ready to check outside,
<v Speaker 1>like it.
<v Speaker 2>Knew that No, we had our lights on and we
<v Speaker 2>would turn them off. Okay, so we could see outside,
<v Speaker 2>because you know how when you're inside and you have
<v Speaker 2>your lights on inside at night, you can't see outside.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, no, that completely makes sense. I feel like the
<v Speaker 1>creature was coming from the state park. Do you remember
<v Speaker 1>the name of the state park?
<v Speaker 2>No, but it's on Highway through OH One south of
<v Speaker 2>Zephyr Hills, between Zephyr Hills and Tampa.
<v Speaker 1>Okay, Okay, I'll look it up and see what I
<v Speaker 1>can find.
<v Speaker 2>I think it's just Florida State Park.
<v Speaker 1>Okay, and yeah, that's speak.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, he probably was over in the state park. I'm
<v Speaker 2>going to guess. Yeah, Robert, I'm a senior owned half
<v Speaker 2>of Florida, and he donated the property of the state
<v Speaker 2>park to the state so that trespassers wouldn't come on
<v Speaker 2>the ranch property. That's what young Robert told me.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah. Could you ever smell anything unusual when you were there?
<v Speaker 2>Yes, but I don't I mean, this is a long
<v Speaker 2>time ago. Now, this was in the seventies, so I
<v Speaker 2>don't really remember it. But but yes, I mean I
<v Speaker 2>can't say that we smelled it every time because we
<v Speaker 2>didn't you go outside. We'd call the ranch foreman and
<v Speaker 2>the ranch worm when we would come and knock on
<v Speaker 2>the door and stuff, and he looked around before he
<v Speaker 2>knocked on the door. And then he'd knocked on the
<v Speaker 2>door and asked, Okay, what happened and whatever. But and
<v Speaker 2>so we never went outside at that pint. The only
<v Speaker 2>time I went outside was when he tripped over the
<v Speaker 2>cage and I saw him and I went outside to
<v Speaker 2>check my dogs. That's the only time I saw him,
<v Speaker 2>And that's the only time I went outside. Wow.
<v Speaker 1>So this bigfoot creature tripped over the dog cage when
<v Speaker 1>it tried to flee the area.
<v Speaker 2>Yep? Wow?
<v Speaker 1>How big? Would you estimate the creature to be?
<v Speaker 2>Maybe seven or eight feet?
<v Speaker 1>Do you feel like it was just one or do
<v Speaker 1>you feel like it was a clan of sasquatch, skunk ape,
<v Speaker 1>swamp apes, whatever you want to call him.
<v Speaker 2>I felt like it was just one. But it could
<v Speaker 2>be that there were others not close, but we would
<v Speaker 2>only hear one. Every month when we would hear the noise,
<v Speaker 2>it would only be one.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, it's very possible there were multiple creatures, but from
<v Speaker 1>the sounds of it, this was one that was on
<v Speaker 1>its own. People talk about them getting kicked out of
<v Speaker 1>the group, and when they get kicked out, they'll they'll
<v Speaker 1>approach people's properties and try to steal food, and they
<v Speaker 1>become pretty territorial. I don't know for sure, but it's
<v Speaker 1>just information that's been gathered over time. And yeah, how
<v Speaker 1>did your dogs react when the activity first started? Did
<v Speaker 1>they growl, bark? Did they just look look at a
<v Speaker 1>tent like? Were they just very attentive?
<v Speaker 2>Like?
<v Speaker 1>Can you describe that a little bit more? I know
<v Speaker 1>they they lost their mind the last time.
<v Speaker 2>Well, yeah, when he when he tripped over the cage,
<v Speaker 2>they were barking like crazy. They would bark other times,
<v Speaker 2>but it wasn't as blood curtling as that one time
<v Speaker 2>when I saw him. So I don't know how close
<v Speaker 2>he was before, like me, maybe he never really got
<v Speaker 2>close enough before, you know, like the every month when
<v Speaker 2>we'd hear the noise the washing outside, It's possible that
<v Speaker 2>he was going to look in the windows, and then
<v Speaker 2>when we hear the noise, we'd run in, turn the
<v Speaker 2>lights off, and that would scare him away, and then
<v Speaker 2>he'd run away, and then he never really got to
<v Speaker 2>look in the windows. Wow.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, that's frightening. I can't imagine how you felt. My
<v Speaker 1>friend Steve, he had a wiener dog, and we were
<v Speaker 1>camping in a bigfoot area where the property owner was
<v Speaker 1>having activity. And you know, like most dogs, when they
<v Speaker 1>were sitting on your lap and something gets their attention,
<v Speaker 1>they'll jump off your lap and just start barking in
<v Speaker 1>the woodline or you know, approach whatever it is. He
<v Speaker 1>didn't do that. Like when he sat on his lap
<v Speaker 1>and the sasquatch approached, he just lifted his head look intent,
<v Speaker 1>like he was looking intently and he would growl and
<v Speaker 1>that was it. Did your dogs do anything like that?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, but you know it was out in the country,
<v Speaker 2>so you always think it's just an armadillo or you know,
<v Speaker 2>something else that they're growling at or barking at.
<v Speaker 1>Oh, yeah, for sure. And I mean, I'm sure there's
<v Speaker 1>a ton of people out there that have never ever
<v Speaker 1>experienced bigfoot activity, but they've had moments where their dogs
<v Speaker 1>are just growling and barking at something and when they
<v Speaker 1>go and check, they just never see anything. And most
<v Speaker 1>likely there's there's definitely something out there. The dogs won't
<v Speaker 1>bark unless there's really something. I mean, it could be
<v Speaker 1>a mouse, it could be a squirrel, or it could
<v Speaker 1>be a sessquatch. You just never know. Yeah, man, but
<v Speaker 1>that's frightening.
<v Speaker 2>But since this noise thing would happen, and like I said,
<v Speaker 2>we didn't know if it was a window peaker like
<v Speaker 2>a person. Since that happened, like it started happening on
<v Speaker 2>a regular basis, and we would hear it washing away
<v Speaker 2>real fast, faster than a human could go. I'm gonna say.
<v Speaker 2>I'm going to say that it was faster than a
<v Speaker 2>human could go. Wow. And and when and when we
<v Speaker 2>after a while, you know, when we would hear that,
<v Speaker 2>and we didn't still didn't know what it was at
<v Speaker 2>the time, you know, but because when I saw it,
<v Speaker 2>that was like one of the last times that I
<v Speaker 2>was there. Because Robert kicked everybody off the land eventually,
<v Speaker 2>not because of us seeing, you know, calling the ranch
<v Speaker 2>foreman every month. It wasn't because that he just wanted
<v Speaker 2>to get rid of the English writing people. He wanted
<v Speaker 2>it to be just a cattle ranch. But and and
<v Speaker 2>he's and it is still a cattle ranch. You can't
<v Speaker 2>go on it as private property. But I did sneak
<v Speaker 2>up the driveway one time, long long time ago, years
<v Speaker 2>later though, but I don't live down there anymore.
<v Speaker 1>So, Yeah, the UFO reports and the bigfoot activity. Was
<v Speaker 1>there ever any animals that were killed mysteriously, any animal
<v Speaker 1>mutilations anything like that.
<v Speaker 2>No, no, but I'll tell you what. I had animal
<v Speaker 2>mutilations when I lived in southern Iowa.
<v Speaker 1>Really yeah.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, Like one time my our cat was skinned and
<v Speaker 2>half of it and half and they threw it in
<v Speaker 2>the window will in our window Will. I just thought
<v Speaker 2>it was hunters and and that didn't ask for permission
<v Speaker 2>to hunt out there, and I was very pissed about that.
<v Speaker 2>But that happened a couple times where whatever it was
<v Speaker 2>killed a cat. Wow, And like I said, I thought
<v Speaker 2>it was just hunters being mean.
<v Speaker 1>So it like skinned it and you can tell like
<v Speaker 1>like it didn't look like someone used a knife.
<v Speaker 2>Well no, it didn't really looked like they just pulled
<v Speaker 2>the skin off.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>I found the same thing in the middle of the trail,
<v Speaker 1>except it was a squirrel. And I know, like when
<v Speaker 1>hunters kill a squirrel, like there's this method of cleaning
<v Speaker 1>them where you just pull all the hide off. It
<v Speaker 1>looked like that, except a hunter didn't do it, and
<v Speaker 1>then they put it right in the middle of the trail.
<v Speaker 1>And sasquatch are done to do that. Where did it
<v Speaker 1>leave the cat.
<v Speaker 2>In our window? Will in the house?
<v Speaker 1>Oh wow, Yeah, so it almost seems like whatever it
<v Speaker 1>was was sending you a message.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, it did kind of seem like that, or like.
<v Speaker 1>It gave you the feeling that you're being watched, or
<v Speaker 1>someone's out there, someone or something.
<v Speaker 2>Well, we did have people come in southern Iowa. Lived
<v Speaker 2>on a farm too, and it was a big farm,
<v Speaker 2>so there wasn't very many houses there, and it was
<v Speaker 2>gravel to our house and then passed our house, it
<v Speaker 2>was dirt, a dirt road down a hill, and we
<v Speaker 2>did have people come out. Some people would ask permission,
<v Speaker 2>but okay, So for example, a guy would ask permission,
<v Speaker 2>and I'd give him permission, and I would say, but
<v Speaker 2>I want to know when you come and when you leave.
<v Speaker 2>And then because I gave that guy permission and he's
<v Speaker 2>got a party of four or five people whatever, then
<v Speaker 2>the other party thinks that just because I gave that
<v Speaker 2>guy permission that on time, that now he automatically has permission.
<v Speaker 2>So then they would take it upon themselves to come
<v Speaker 2>out and hunt on the land without asking, thinking they
<v Speaker 2>had permission, which they didn't. It could have been a
<v Speaker 2>hunter that did that cat thing?
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, it could have been, but it's certainly something to
<v Speaker 1>keep in mind. Not too long ago, I had a
<v Speaker 1>lady contact me from Florida. She never gave her report
<v Speaker 1>on the channel, but we talked a little bit and
<v Speaker 1>she said she saw something massive and hairy and she
<v Speaker 1>doesn't know what it was, and something was braiding her
<v Speaker 1>pony's hair. And she actually got really good video footage
<v Speaker 1>of it. And it was braiding their hair and she
<v Speaker 1>doesn't know what it was.
<v Speaker 2>But it was dark and Harry, Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, a non known creature.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>Did you ever notice anything like that on the ranch
<v Speaker 1>where they were braiding the horse's hair.
<v Speaker 2>No, I didn't. I didn't even notice any horses. Like
<v Speaker 2>you know, if if a animal would, like say a
<v Speaker 2>bobcat or something like that, would come into the stable,
<v Speaker 2>the horses would make noise, they'd winny and you know,
<v Speaker 2>stomp around their stalls and stuff like that. And I
<v Speaker 2>never saw any of that. I don't notice any of
<v Speaker 2>the horses going wild in the barn at all, and
<v Speaker 2>we weren't too far from the barn. I would have
<v Speaker 2>heard them.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah. So that night that the sasquatch was out there
<v Speaker 1>and he tripped over the cage. You didn't hear the
<v Speaker 1>horses going nuts or anything like that.
<v Speaker 2>I don't remember.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, well that is interesting. I've also heard people mention
<v Speaker 1>in stud like, you know, sometimes the dogs they go
<v Speaker 1>crazy and they'll start barking, growling, looking intently. Sometimes the
<v Speaker 1>dogs just stay asleep through the entire situation. Did you
<v Speaker 1>have ever noticed that when things were happening outside, like
<v Speaker 1>the dogs were sedated?
<v Speaker 2>Hmmm? I mean there might have been one of those
<v Speaker 2>monthly visits that that might have happened where the dogs
<v Speaker 2>weren't making any noise at all. There might have been
<v Speaker 2>sometimes like that.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>Like I said, this was back in the seventies, so
<v Speaker 2>I don't really remember a lot did the I do
<v Speaker 2>remember seeing him, though, I'm never going to forget that.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, oh yeah, that's a day to remember for sure.
<v Speaker 1>Did they did they ever tap on the window? Tap
<v Speaker 1>tap tap tap, anything like that?
<v Speaker 2>No?
<v Speaker 1>No, what all did they do when they're outside? Months
<v Speaker 1>from more?
<v Speaker 2>I remember what the noise was that we were hearing.
<v Speaker 2>I just remember that we were hearing noises like probably
<v Speaker 2>just walking around or something.
<v Speaker 1>Okay, so something moving around outside and things banging around.
<v Speaker 2>Possibly, Yeah, just noises because like I said, we didn't
<v Speaker 2>know what it was.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I don't know what's more terrifying having some creep
<v Speaker 1>peeping through the windows or walking outside and seeing a sasquatch.
<v Speaker 1>I think I'd picked the Sasquatch.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know. Because now that it's all these years
<v Speaker 2>later and everything, and now you hear about abductions and
<v Speaker 2>UFO reports and different things. Now I think, well, you know,
<v Speaker 2>am I lucky that I didn't get abducted like UFO
<v Speaker 2>would be deducted? Yeah?
<v Speaker 1>No, I mean you make a very valid point. I
<v Speaker 1>have noticed when there's Sasquatch activity, I'm also seeing strange
<v Speaker 1>things up in the skies. I rarely talk about it,
<v Speaker 1>but it is something that happens, and I don't know
<v Speaker 1>if it's a coincidence or or if they're connected. I
<v Speaker 1>don't know. One day I was hearing something walking around
<v Speaker 1>outside in the woods. It was nighttime. It definitely sounded
<v Speaker 1>by pedal and it sounded like, I don't know, like
<v Speaker 1>trees were being pushed over, not big ones, but smaller trees.
<v Speaker 1>And at the same time I look up and there's
<v Speaker 1>these really strange lights up in the sky. So I'm
<v Speaker 1>having a hard time figuring out like do I want
<v Speaker 1>to pay attention to this in the woods or what's
<v Speaker 1>going on above me? And it was weird for sure,
<v Speaker 1>and it's.
<v Speaker 2>Not the first time it's related. Do you ever think
<v Speaker 2>it's related?
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I feel like there's some sort of energy anomaly
<v Speaker 1>taking place. And if the Sasquatch truly are interdimensional and
<v Speaker 1>they're utilizing portals, then other things are coming through, whether
<v Speaker 1>it's spiritual beings as far as the paranormal and UFO activity,
<v Speaker 1>and I feel like they're all using the same doorways
<v Speaker 1>and there's just other dimensions and other worlds right in
<v Speaker 1>front of us.
<v Speaker 2>Like I never thought of it before when it was happening,
<v Speaker 2>but now it's that I'm older and I look back
<v Speaker 2>at it and you hear all this other stuff. Now
<v Speaker 2>when I look back at it, I think that it's
<v Speaker 2>possible that well, before I thought it was just a
<v Speaker 2>rare animal that nobody ever sees. But it's not like
<v Speaker 2>it's an alien or it comes here from another planet
<v Speaker 2>or anything like that. But now I don't know. I
<v Speaker 2>think that it's possible looking back on it now, that
<v Speaker 2>it could be that Bigfoot is not of this world.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I definitely think so, because like, how do tracks
<v Speaker 1>just disappear in the middle of a field when there's
<v Speaker 1>snow out and nobody finds the remains? Like when one
<v Speaker 1>eyes or any of the bones and the orbs that
<v Speaker 1>are associated with the activity, the static sounds, the metal
<v Speaker 1>doors just shutting, and I don't know, there's all kinds
<v Speaker 1>of strange things the mind speak. I've never experienced that,
<v Speaker 1>but I've heard a lot of people talk about it,
<v Speaker 1>and it's just something you can't dismiss because there's too
<v Speaker 1>many people talking about the same things that don't even
<v Speaker 1>know each other, and the behavior definitely lines up and
<v Speaker 1>correlates with each story.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, and I never talked to about it to anybody
<v Speaker 2>because if I did, I thought they would think that
<v Speaker 2>I was crazy.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, did you ever tell the other girls what you saw?
<v Speaker 1>Did they see it too?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, we were all wondering what it was. We all
<v Speaker 2>thought it was a window peaker, and you know, we
<v Speaker 2>were all running around the house and we'd call the
<v Speaker 2>ranch forman and the ranch form and would just say, oh,
<v Speaker 2>it's probably just an Armadill said that every time. And
<v Speaker 2>you know, so, like I said, at the time, we
<v Speaker 2>didn't have any idea what it was We just knew
<v Speaker 2>that we heard noises outside. And I'm trying to think
<v Speaker 2>if I had any roommates the time that I saw him,
<v Speaker 2>because seems like to me, nobody at least nobody else
<v Speaker 2>was home. If I had roommates at the time, nobody
<v Speaker 2>else was home that time that I saw him. Nobody
<v Speaker 2>else was home. It was just me and my dogs.
<v Speaker 2>But the other times when we would hear noises and stuff, yeah,
<v Speaker 2>they'd be home. We'd all try to run to the
<v Speaker 2>lights to turn them off so we could see outside.
<v Speaker 2>We'd rush to the windows to see outside, and we'd
<v Speaker 2>be calling the ransforming and we didn't have cell phones
<v Speaker 2>at the time, you know, and so we just had
<v Speaker 2>to call on the landline and he would just have
<v Speaker 2>to jump in his truck and drive down to us. Wow.
<v Speaker 1>How many seconds would you say the encounter lasted? Was
<v Speaker 1>it just like a quarter of a second or was
<v Speaker 1>it a few seconds?
<v Speaker 2>Uh? You mean the monthly visits?
<v Speaker 1>No, the encounter where the sasquatch tripped over the cage, Like,
<v Speaker 1>how long was the sighting?
<v Speaker 2>Oh? How long did I see him? Yeah? Just to
<v Speaker 2>just a couple of seconds, yeah.
<v Speaker 1>And then it just vanished into the darkness.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, and by the time I got out in the
<v Speaker 2>hallway towards the outside to check on my dogs, it
<v Speaker 2>was gone. And of course I was scared as hell,
<v Speaker 2>so I didn't really want to confront if it. If
<v Speaker 2>it was an animal, I didn't really want to confront it. Wow,
<v Speaker 2>I don't want to be near it.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I don't blame you. Chances are the creature came
<v Speaker 1>back once you went back inside. He couldn't have gone far.
<v Speaker 2>If he did. I didn't hear him, because you could
<v Speaker 2>usually hear him.
<v Speaker 1>Usually they'll run back into the woods and hide behind
<v Speaker 1>a tree and just stand there and observe. I'm not
<v Speaker 1>saying that's what it did, but it's very possible.
<v Speaker 2>Who. Well, that creeps me out.
<v Speaker 1>And you know, these creatures rarely mess up, but every
<v Speaker 1>now and then they do mess up. And it sounds
<v Speaker 1>like this creature tripped over the cage when he thought
<v Speaker 1>he was being sneaky.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah. It was a wire cage, so it wasn't like
<v Speaker 2>a plastic kennel, so he obviously didn't see it.
<v Speaker 1>Was it in a different spot than what, like where
<v Speaker 1>you would usually put it or do you always put
<v Speaker 1>it in the same place?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah? Usually it was in that little side room and
<v Speaker 2>it was cleaning it, so it was sitting right outside
<v Speaker 2>the house.
<v Speaker 1>No, dang, Yeah, you caught him off guard.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah wow.
<v Speaker 1>Okay, Well, maybe maybe you got lucky. You never know,
<v Speaker 1>because there's like a lot of missing people reports. You
<v Speaker 1>don't know what this thing was up to. Maybe they
<v Speaker 1>are nice, they're kind creatures, or maybe they have other
<v Speaker 1>intentions and they're waiting to grab you.
<v Speaker 2>It's hard to say, yeah, well, I'm glad I was
<v Speaker 2>as far as I know, I've never been abducted.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, yeah, it's hard to say, right.
<v Speaker 2>And the name if it can make you lose your
<v Speaker 2>memory of it.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, there is that a lot of people have said
<v Speaker 1>that if you see a UFO, that you've actually been
<v Speaker 1>abducted and it's just them bringing you back. You just
<v Speaker 1>can't remember when you were abducted, which is kind of
<v Speaker 1>scary to think.
<v Speaker 2>Hmm.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, well you got lucky in this case. And it
<v Speaker 1>sounds like he wasn't trying to hurt you guys, and
<v Speaker 1>he was just really curious. Maybe he was looking for food.
<v Speaker 1>The Native Americans say they're attracted to women and children,
<v Speaker 1>and in this case, they were definitely watching the girls.
<v Speaker 2>And we were young and we were fair looking. Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>How old were you at the time, twenty ish? Okay, Well,
<v Speaker 1>maybe that's a tactic that I need to try, is
<v Speaker 1>bring a group of girls out the next time I
<v Speaker 1>go bigfooting and maybe they'll come in.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, he might not come if he sees you, though,
<v Speaker 2>you gotta hide.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah. That's when my friend David from a place called
<v Speaker 1>the Killing Fields, he said they won't come up to
<v Speaker 1>you because you always have your cameras out, and that
<v Speaker 1>kind of I don't know. That hit me hard, and
<v Speaker 1>I sat there and thought about it. I was like,
<v Speaker 1>maybe he's right. I'm always out there with my cameras
<v Speaker 1>on a tripod and they see all the gear and
<v Speaker 1>they don't approach me because when I'm not there, like
<v Speaker 1>people that are camping on that same campground have activity,
<v Speaker 1>but they don't have any cameras. They're just out there,
<v Speaker 1>you know, relaxing and enjoying nature.
<v Speaker 2>Thing about this this thing knows when you have a
<v Speaker 2>camera and when you don't. Oh yeah, sure it knows.
<v Speaker 2>And it doesn't it's not just because it sees it
<v Speaker 2>somehow or other else. It knows.
<v Speaker 1>Oh yeah. If I lived out in the woods and
<v Speaker 1>I was observing people. I'm not going to approach the
<v Speaker 1>people that have firearms or things that I can't understand.
<v Speaker 1>I'm going to wait till they go to sleep to
<v Speaker 1>harass them. I'm not saying I would do that. I'm
<v Speaker 1>just saying if if I lived out in the woods,
<v Speaker 1>like I definitely want to approach people if things seemed
<v Speaker 1>if he I feel like Sasquatch has that same ability,
<v Speaker 1>like it knows that something's not right.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah. I don't know if it's just instinct or if
<v Speaker 2>they have some kind of other sense.
<v Speaker 1>Definitely other senses and an intelligence that goes beyond our understanding. Yeah, yeah, Okay,
<v Speaker 1>do you have any other experiences that you can think
<v Speaker 1>of the maybe popped up into your mind as we
<v Speaker 1>were talking about everything, anything that we forgot.
<v Speaker 2>Well, you were talking about UFOs, and I have seen
<v Speaker 2>a UFO at times in other places. In fact, I
<v Speaker 2>live in Wisconsin now and I and I know that
<v Speaker 2>I saw a UFO here in Wisconsin living on our property.
<v Speaker 2>So in the back pasture it's looking north and it
<v Speaker 2>was a kind of looked like a blimp, like it
<v Speaker 2>was just oval like you see people say tiktoks, but
<v Speaker 2>it was close closer then you know, a far away
<v Speaker 2>TikTok would look. And so it looked bigger like a blimp,
<v Speaker 2>and it was going along and it was going east,
<v Speaker 2>and then the clouds covered it up, and then by
<v Speaker 2>the time the clouds dispersed, it was gone. Wow. Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>I seen the same thing when I was in South
<v Speaker 1>Carolina traveling to a place called the Stump House Tunnel,
<v Speaker 1>and on my way there, I noticed something that looked
<v Speaker 1>like a blimp, and I convinced myself that's what it was.
<v Speaker 1>And I'm not really sure. Maybe it was a blimp,
<v Speaker 1>maybe it was a UFO, but it was strange.
<v Speaker 2>But now are you But you're saying, if you've seen one,
<v Speaker 2>then you were abducted. You just don't have a memory
<v Speaker 2>of it.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah. Yeah, that's what people say, especially the people that
<v Speaker 1>are driving when they see one, or they wake up
<v Speaker 1>and they see lights outside their house and or a UFO.
<v Speaker 1>And that's scary to think about because I've had situations
<v Speaker 1>like the I hope I I haven't been abducted. Me too,
<v Speaker 1>because you hear a lot of stories where people wake
<v Speaker 1>up and there's like a gray alien standing next to
<v Speaker 1>their bed. I feel like there's a lot more to
<v Speaker 1>it than they just woke up and saw gray alien.
<v Speaker 1>I feel like that's just the missing that's just a
<v Speaker 1>piece to the giant puzzle.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah. Well, I have seen some what I don't know
<v Speaker 2>if they were UFOs or not, out my window at
<v Speaker 2>the same time every morning. But now it's not out
<v Speaker 2>that window anymore. It's out this other window. And then
<v Speaker 2>when I told my husband about it, he said, oh,
<v Speaker 2>it's probably just a drone, or he'd say, oh, it's
<v Speaker 2>probably just a satellite. And it could be, but I
<v Speaker 2>don't think it's a satellite because it's in a different
<v Speaker 2>place all the time, And if it was a satellite,
<v Speaker 2>you know, orbiting, it would be you could tell that
<v Speaker 2>it was in an orbit and it's in a different place.
<v Speaker 1>M Yeah, it's very likely it could be. You don't
<v Speaker 1>happen to live close to Hayward, do you, Hayward, Wisconsin.
<v Speaker 1>There's been a lot of strange reports from that area,
<v Speaker 1>but I'm sure there's stranges.
<v Speaker 2>Where is it near the Dells?
<v Speaker 1>Okay, I'm not familiar with that.
<v Speaker 2>The Dells is like a vacation area. It's like that
<v Speaker 2>water park capital of the world.
<v Speaker 1>Okay, Well, you never know. I mean, definitely keep an
<v Speaker 1>eye out for future activity and you might see something extraordinary.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah. I keep watching the skies because the Earth is wobbling.
<v Speaker 2>If you look at the moon, the Moon's orbit is
<v Speaker 2>not normal, and it's not the Moon, it's the Earth.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I'll keep an eye out for that in the future.
<v Speaker 1>But yeah, if you experience anything else in the future,
<v Speaker 1>especially bigfoot activity, contact me and give me an update
<v Speaker 1>as to how things unfold later on in your life.
<v Speaker 2>I've never heard of any bigfoots up here in Wisconsin
<v Speaker 2>where I'm from, but where I'm living now, but on
<v Speaker 2>my way from my home over to bear a Boo
<v Speaker 2>out in the country, there is a house and they
<v Speaker 2>have like a silhouette of a bigfoot. So I don't
<v Speaker 2>know if those people have ever seen a bigfoot out
<v Speaker 2>there in the woods. And then they just made a
<v Speaker 2>sign up that it looks like a bigfoot, you know,
<v Speaker 2>it's kind of like a yard decoration. M h. Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>I always wonder that back they have it by their driveway.
<v Speaker 1>M Yeah. Anyone that puts one of those out, they
<v Speaker 1>automatically become a suspect in my eyes that possibly they've
<v Speaker 1>seen a sasquatch before. Yeah, never know'd be worth.
<v Speaker 2>Asking anything they could be around here. I haven't seen
<v Speaker 2>any around here though.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah. I think the last report I took from Wisconsin
<v Speaker 1>was from a place called Wakoma I think is what
<v Speaker 1>it's called. What Toma, that's what it is. Yeah, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>that was the last place.
<v Speaker 2>There's a lot of Indian names up here.
<v Speaker 1>Mm hmm, yeah, I've noticed that.
<v Speaker 2>Another There is another weird thing up here near bear
<v Speaker 2>a Boo, which is only about twenty miles from from me.
<v Speaker 2>There is one of those man mounds. There's man Mound Park.
<v Speaker 2>It's if you heard of those mounds. Yeah, big mounds
<v Speaker 2>that people build. Well, they didn't realize it, and they
<v Speaker 2>put the road across it, so they cut his feet off.
<v Speaker 2>Then after somehow or other, some somewhere along the line,
<v Speaker 2>they realized that it was a man mound. And now
<v Speaker 2>it's preserved and they have like I guess they do
<v Speaker 2>spray paint around it, so it has like a weird
<v Speaker 2>shaped head like it looks like it could be an alien.
<v Speaker 2>And you know, some of these man mounds, they take
<v Speaker 2>some I don't know, some kind of X ray machinery
<v Speaker 2>and they they try to see what's under in the
<v Speaker 2>buried in the ground, and they they think that there's
<v Speaker 2>giants buried in the Man Mounds.
<v Speaker 1>Oh yeah, Yeah, that's all the theory. There's giants buried
<v Speaker 1>underneath these mounds.
<v Speaker 2>And I don't know if anybody's ever looked at Man
<v Speaker 2>Mound Park over in Bearboo, but I'd be curious to
<v Speaker 2>see if there's anything buried under there. No, but I
<v Speaker 2>went to visit there. I only went there one time,
<v Speaker 2>and I had weird feelings when I would visit it.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah. Here in Missouri there's a lot of mounds, and
<v Speaker 1>in Illinois on both sides of the Mississippi River, and
<v Speaker 1>Saint Louis is actually known as Mound City, and some
<v Speaker 1>of the mounds they look like pyramids from Egypt they're
<v Speaker 1>so big, and a lot of people speculate that there's
<v Speaker 1>giants that are buried underneath the mounds, and people have
<v Speaker 1>had strange supernatural encrypted encounters by the mounds. Yeah. Ohio
<v Speaker 1>is another one. They have the Serpent Mound there and
<v Speaker 1>all kinds of other mounds, and of course in Ohio
<v Speaker 1>there's the Ohio Grassman and a ton of supernatural activity
<v Speaker 1>taking place. I didn't know Wisconsin had the mounds too,
<v Speaker 1>So that's really interesting. It definitely points towards an ancient
<v Speaker 1>civilization that was connected all throughout North America.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah. I never even heard about giants until recently. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>Like I didn't really, you know, like the Bible talks
<v Speaker 2>about the Nephelem and the repem and stuff. I never
<v Speaker 2>even paid it. Even if I read the Bible, I
<v Speaker 2>never never dawned on me that they were talking about giants.
<v Speaker 2>I mean the only giant I ever heard about was
<v Speaker 2>David Goliath. Mm.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, yeah, this stuff goes way back.
<v Speaker 2>I guess there's there's saying that there's giants and that
<v Speaker 2>they are going to come back. Mm hmm.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah. That's what's interesting is the crypti phenomenon is a
<v Speaker 1>global phenomenon, and the giant the giant humans, that's a
<v Speaker 1>global phenomenon. And not only that, where they find the
<v Speaker 1>giant skeletons and the mounds or areas where the bigfoot
<v Speaker 1>or dog man reports are I'm from, it's all the
<v Speaker 1>same areas. Oh and the missing people too, They're all
<v Speaker 1>in the same areas on the maps, and you can
<v Speaker 1>just see a clump of reports in each area. So
<v Speaker 1>there seems to be a correlation between them all.
<v Speaker 2>Well, we have a missing person from our town, a
<v Speaker 2>boy three years ago. He was thirteen, he just had
<v Speaker 2>a he would have had a sixteen year old birthday,
<v Speaker 2>and he's missing.
<v Speaker 1>Did they ever find him?
<v Speaker 2>No, he's not found yet.
<v Speaker 1>M Yeah, I make you wonder. Did he go missing
<v Speaker 1>in the forest.
<v Speaker 2>Devil's Lake State Park?
<v Speaker 1>Okay? Yeah, well, yeah, that makes you wonder, especially since
<v Speaker 1>it happened at a state park. What was the name
<v Speaker 1>of the state.
<v Speaker 2>Park, Devil's Lake State Park.
<v Speaker 1>Well, that makes it even worse. It's got devil in
<v Speaker 1>the name. I mean, I'm saying that because I've heard
<v Speaker 1>a lot of places that have Douvile in it have
<v Speaker 1>had cryptid encounters like here, they have like the Devil's backbone,
<v Speaker 1>the Devil's elbow. All those places are Sasquatch areas where
<v Speaker 1>there's a lot of reports.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah there. I have heard that there are other people
<v Speaker 2>that have gone missing at Devil's Lake, but I am
<v Speaker 2>only aware of one local resident.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, it makes you wonder. A country that was found
<v Speaker 1>on Christianity, why would they name a place Devil's Lake.
<v Speaker 1>There had been something bad that happened, there is something supernatural,
<v Speaker 1>I mean, why else would you.
<v Speaker 2>Name with that. Well, the story that I heard is
<v Speaker 2>that the people from Chicago wanted to have an adventurous getaway,
<v Speaker 2>so they named the lake Devil's Lake to give the
<v Speaker 2>Chicagoan's an adventurous place to go to, you know, to
<v Speaker 2>hype it up. I mean, that's the story that I heard.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know if there's any other stories around out there.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, that's interesting because where I was talking about here
<v Speaker 1>in Missouri, the Devil's Backbone. They said the mob from
<v Speaker 1>or I don't know where they're from. I think Chicago.
<v Speaker 1>They used to come down from Chicago and hide bodies
<v Speaker 1>out there. Oh my mm hmm, yeah, speak area.
<v Speaker 2>They could hide easily at Devil's Lake. Yeah, it is
<v Speaker 2>a deep lake.
<v Speaker 1>Well, maybe there's more to it.
<v Speaker 2>There's a lake up here, Lake Delton, and the lake
<v Speaker 2>accidentally drained one year and all the houses along the
<v Speaker 2>lake went down the river and they can't even rebuild
<v Speaker 2>because the land isn't even there anymore.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I'd hate to hear that.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, Lake Delton, you can look that up too. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>the lake just drained. Wow.
<v Speaker 1>Okay, do you have any other experiences that you can
<v Speaker 1>think of? Anything else that you've heard from anyone else,
<v Speaker 1>anything you like to share before we wrap up.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know anybody else who has actually seen a bidfoot.
<v Speaker 2>I don't personally know anybody.
<v Speaker 1>Well, I appreciate you for contacting me and sharing your experience.
<v Speaker 1>I know you felt like it wasn't very much, but
<v Speaker 1>I feel like that that was an excellent report and
<v Speaker 1>you definitely saw something that changed your world that day.
<v Speaker 1>And yeah, you're a knower now, you know these things exist,
<v Speaker 1>They're out there, and you experience strange activity that most
<v Speaker 1>people can't say they have.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I know, but I don't know if that's a
<v Speaker 2>good thing or.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I don't know.
<v Speaker 2>I mean I consider it sometimes sometimes you can't kno
<v Speaker 2>what you know.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, absolutely, I mean you experienced something that most people
<v Speaker 1>will never see. So consider yourself lucky. You know that
<v Speaker 1>there's more out there than what we're being told. And
<v Speaker 1>definitely keep your head on a swivel in the future.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, well, thanks for letting me share my story.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, absolutely, Karen, and you stay warm. If you see
<v Speaker 1>anything else in the future, feel free to reach out.
<v Speaker 1>And I appreciate everything you did today.
<v Speaker 2>All right, thanks Michael.
<v Speaker 1>Yep, thank you, you have an excellent day.
<v Speaker 2>You too, Bike.
<v Speaker 1>Thank you all for listening to this episode of Sasquatch Theory.
<v Speaker 1>Karen's encounters stretch across states, decades, and entire belief systems,
<v Speaker 1>reminding us that sometimes the strange things we experience aren't
<v Speaker 1>isolated events. There are pieces of a much bigger pattern.
<v Speaker 1>If you've had an encounter of your own, I'd love
<v Speaker 1>to hear it. Share your story with me, and you
<v Speaker 1>may be featured on a future episode. Until the next time,
<v Speaker 1>keep your eyes open, your light's on, and remember that
<v Speaker 1>the woods doesn't fall silent without a reason.
