edition of the Major Rewind, the only show that takes some of the best,
classic, ultimate, and defining major moments from the Major Wrestling Figure Podcast,
and I put it together for new and old Major Marks to enjoy.
This week on the show, we're all hungover from WrestleMania baby ha ha.
We hear some classic weekly purchases from twenty nineteen, as well as the infamous
TAZ WTF what the bleep Figure of the Week. And then we got the
world's largest incarnation of domination, the Giant, the Big Show Paul White,
and one of my favorite stories about The Big Show Paul White is told in
this incarnation. And let me tell you something, Jack, If you like
Q and Day, well, we got a whole bunch of it. We
have Q and Day from episode seventy three, as well as Q and D
from a special Q and Day episode from the WrestleMania Hangover baby ha ha ha.
And one of the cool things about this Q and Day is you hear
Matt and Brian prophesize about a potential action figure line made under the Major Pod
banner. And it's always cool when you hear I hear back a lot of
these clips, and you know, almost since the beginning of the podcast,
this has always been in the back of their minds that eventually they were going
to go out and do it. They were going to make their own figures,
and they willed it to existence. There's a lesson there. That's it.

weeks ago, so I'm still transitioning to calling them wrestling figures. I listen
to these guys every single week as I'm driving from Roda SmackDown with many legit,

right, weekly purchases time mother some might cost it a little some might cost
a lot, but I'm the thousand dollar Browski and your figures will be bought.
All right, guys, it's weekly purchases. Time. I got a
bunch of things on here. We're a little backed up, a little backed
up, if you will. Um. The first thing I'm gonna go with
is the Perfect ten Jack's set, Jack specific, I finally got it.
We haven't done the pod, but I thought you got it months ago when
we talked about this. No no, no, no me, you and
David c Andrews it we're talking about it. Maybe that's what I'm mixing up
here. It's it's ten figures. It's called the Perfect there's two versions of
it, okay, and only Billy Guns different. Well Triple H is like
a DTA version, but that Yeah, everything has been released in another capacity.
Well it's so it's so weird. The bone counters like what was released,
what wasn't released. It's all like what you consider to be unofficial release
or not, because some things are a loose collector. All you need is
that Billy gunn Okay, So everything has been awesome. Something Rock, Triple
H, xbox Mankind, Big Show, Billy Gun, Road Dog, Cane
Undertaker and a kid Size in the back. But all those figures were released
in some other capacity except Billy Gun is in a white shirt and that is
in a black shirt, right, Okay, I believe that's the only thing,
pretty sure. So I got that. Um, not a bad deal.
I I got it for twenty nine dollars ten figures. What well,
twenty nine dollars shipping as well? I was okay, yeah, shipping.
But to get the one Billy Gun, to get a hall of paper,
Billy Gun in that black I think I says, come get some, Yeah,
come get some from that too tough. Yeah, but he's in the
white. Um. So I needed that, And I think there might be
some minor differences, but that's the most U dramatic difference. That's my first
weekly purchases. There's my story, and I know you're gonna cut a promo
on me here, let's hear it. Uh. So, I don't know
how this came about, if I found it or Tommy Boy from Massachusetts found
it. Some smart sweets, no, I wish. I wish we had
some right now that'd be hit the spot anyway. Uh, there's a lot
on eBay one, two, three, all three versions of Brett Hart and
hasbro Form. What do I need? A loose all away? But it
doesn't count? Why not? I don't know if this guy opened the back,
dude. If it's not, I don't know. If it's not in
the bag, it doesn't count. But how do I know this guy didn't
open the bag? And this is you don't know. That's why it doesn't
count. So how are we ever gonna? I really want to? I
mean, I thought you were the Scottie Pippin. I didn't realize you were
the you can't name another basketball players. He's never gonna. I can't count
anything. I can't name it. Okay, So anyway, so we find
this auction and we agree to cut a deal. I said, I need
the mail away bread or the foreign card Bret, whatever you want to call
it, and your neck of the Woods. And he needed the other two
Brets. I don't know why you didn't have either regular Bret. I think
Brett too. It's hard to get Brett two has become very difficult, and
price and I don't I don't know he needed both. I said, okay,
I said, here's the deal, whatever it ends at, I'll pay
half. You pay half and I get the the one I want, you
get the other two. It's a horrible deal on a voice part. Why
because you're getting this, You're not getting a real mail away. You're getting
this like but today people loose. That's there's no difference, and that is
what it is. And the farn one has become so you cannot it's not
the same man. A card is still gonna go for a time money.
You know, John from Brings Out has like five of them in the office.
Non information that could have been brought to my attention. Yeah, jod,
I need that anyway. So, uh, like we were all prepared
to spend like a decent amount of money on that lot. Like what would
you expect this lot to end at two fifty? Right? Okay? So
I said, hey, I have right here two h five or something I
put in. I said, that's the most you know, one hundred bucks
each ish you know, let's go at that it ended at one seventeen fifty.
That's proof right there that you didn't get the real mail away. But
there's no way I've ever proven that. And so I mean they came in
the bag. I have holding out of the bag now, So like there's
no point I'd have to go backwards. Okay, So I understand what you're
trying to do here. You know I need a loose taker, and I'm
done. You're trying to convince yourself. But I know that you know.
I don't know that. I know that you know because this Bret heart that
you have is that foreign one or the one that's not necessarily foreign. It's
just like the purple heart variant. Okay, and you know it's at the
mailwadre, but you don't want to admit yourself it's it's not the man.
How many people in nineteen ninety three you got these mailawaise and just opened them
out of the bag zillions. I don't know if there was a zillion bag,
but a good portion a lot. How we ever going to prove that
right? But you know in your loose collection, just you know in your
heart of hearts that Brett is nine times out of ten probably the regular Bret.
That true, That may be true. But if I'm a loose collector
saying figure, if you want to look at me your eyes, daddy has
a mad on card, I'm sorry, I'll lose collection. And this Brett's
a fake if you want to look at your daughter in the eyes to say
that, I think, go ahead. Do you expect me to pay twenty
times the price or something and then open it out of the bag and then
now it counts. It's not my loose collection. I think you should have
manned up and got all of them in the bag. Man, this bread,
I'm sorry, this bread does not count the bag I was, I
was. I don't know if I was dreading explaining this to you or it
doesn't count. I'm sorry. I have a bread, a purple heart bread,
and you know where it is. It's in the closet like I have
it. Like it's there, but doesn't count. It's not the man you
have the bag one on display? Yes, But isn't your bags the wrong
numbers? Yes? So you're not gonna ever fix that? Maybe one day,
pot kettle anyway, And I don't know what that means. We're moving
on all right. Another that I got, um okay um. You said,

little piece of my cost a lot. Give me the thousand dollars getting two
weeks of glory. You couldn't let me just fast, and your poppies will
be bought piece of a thank you to Matt Chappelle. Um, he had
all the poppies and full disclosure. I was working on a big deal to
get him all men on card and the price was going to be very,
very astronomical, over ten thousand dollars. God. And I'm like, listen,
I'm gonna open these mofos up. There's no way I'm paying these.
Yeah, I'm a loose collector. I'm not in the game to resell them.
And I like things. I want to let him breathe, to let
him breathe, especially the poppies. Carding is a little bizarre. There mostly
smashed and mush. Matt Chappelle legend in the business, unsung hero. Um,
he had the whole set. He said, Hey, I'll sum to
you for what I bought him for. I said, ching jing jing jing.
And I still had to be a decent man. Money. It was
decent amount of money. Let's talk about it. I'm not gonna talk about
well, you're being a real scumbag and you you I'll say this, I'll
say this less than three thousand, Okay, it's not horrendous for was it
ten? Yeah? And these are in fantastic shape. They go for like
two to four a piece. Loose right at him, all one shot,
all right? Not not bad. So thank you. Matt Chapelle. He

but I feel like he's someone who like doesn't want to be known. And

something it's still not on for sale. Huh, it's hill. It finally
hit the target. Okay, I sell people obviously many a week was a
little hectic and I wasn't so glued to my phone, but it did not.

figures. Oh my god, all hell breaking list. Oh geez, we
had like ten figures a year. Chill you give me till a ninety minute

I'm just so thrilled that I finally have it and it's not gonna not come
out, and I'm glad it's not like in some bin burning with all those
Harley Race Michaels. Those are coming big, the big lots. I believe,
I truly believe it. Marshall's one day they will be like the whole
Harley Race sets here and it's three. But that Terry Taylor is amazing,
all those things like the sho Isaac Yanko. You tell sorry, lest we
were Dad called him mister Rooster. Yeah, like we were liked at WrestleMania
and he kept called him mister Rooster. That's incredible. Oh man. Anyway,
great figure, pick it up Target dot com. I mean it's just
it's perfect. And I mean that's just one of those things I love,
Like Terry Taylor has had a figure, but I love when the only figure
has had him was that TNA figure. So it's like whatever, but just
the red Rooster never had a figure, So like this is fantastic. The
Jackets great, the red Mohawk. It's if you're a mint card collector,
it's fantastic. Um all right. Also, I want to talk about our
good friend, Hastele toy. Um, I got something from him. Friend,
Well he's our friend, Okay, I got has is gonna set about
that he finds all these hasbros. And uh, he's been rebuilding my little
brother Andrew's collection. So he got me a Yoko Zuna the red and black.
It was minty Minty loose. Got it from my brother Andrew. So
Hastle Toy, I want to say thank you for that. Um, last
time my list, I don't know if you have a ton more more.
Okay, well we both received retro series. Yeah, what are your thoughts
that Macho Man, Randy Savage, Samoa Joe, Randy Orton gold Dust.
I'm gonna say this right off the bat. I love these ret shows.
I don't want them to go anywhere. They are incredible. The matcha man.
When I first got it, I think we both said I thought it
was broken. It was broke. He doesn't do the clothes and he does
the chop. It scold us to end macho I know. I was like,
what's going on? But they do the flare. It's Flair's mechanism to
do the chop, not the Randy or Zach Ryder mechanism to do the forward.
Yeah. So it was like at first, I'm like, oh no,
what happened here? But it's pretty it once you realize that that's fine.
I take a comparison shot of the Macho Man with the green trunks Macho
Man, like only all podcasts can do that? Ye know, the podcast
could do that? So cool. Mattel did a great job switching to that
color or decided to do that color. I feel like apologies are in order
that Samojo is fine in that patented T shirt. Yeah, it's it works
like it's not it's not like a bad figure. I'd rather that than no
smo. Joe. I agree, and I we like made fun of it
a bunch on here. I'm still gonna make fun of it like that.
It was instead of like initially, and I'll admit this, I thought it
was like a lame tactic or like cheap. Now I feel like it's like
crafty and it like worked. It's a way to get him in the line,
a way to use that not a lot of hefty molds and has the
shorts in that line. So they in the shorts. Yeah, but there's
not like big dudes, So they did what they had to do. It
got some mojo on the line, So we're cool with that. M Randy
Orton's great. The deck and gold us finally with a gold es, I
don't have to use my thing. The yellow. I think gold is my
favorite of this and the way it comes off way it comes off, it
looks really cool. The face is a little heavier. It's just perfect.
I love that Ringsyle Collectibles has series eight and nine before the stores even have
eight. Well that's their business, but two sets ahead, that's true.
Yeah right, yeah, that's pretty Yeah, that's right. Your figure hasn't

Though I tried to have a to just like purposely not buy stuff.
It's very difficult. Next week I might have nothing. I was very busy
to wrestleman a week. If you uh too busy to buy toys, believe
it or not, it's a good problem to have them. Um. I
went back to the devil. I went back to the bushman himself, Lord
Um, and he he took me to an agency and it was the Acolyte
Protection Agency, and I got a Acolytes. This is pre APA, but
Acolytes Bradshaw bone crunching action head unreleased. Why why did I get it?
Yeah, because he offered it to me for a good price and I had
to get it. And it's it's bone crunching, not it's not new bone
crunching. It was supposed to be in the bone and short short hair Acolyte
Bradshaw. So apparently like Docommission's best friend Bradshaw. Too right, It could
be right. It was that who say that style short? But I guess
at one point there was supposed to be some sort of ministry of Darkness four
pack um. It was rumored. All those things were rumored. Who knows.
They never made Midian, they never made for Ruth, they never made
Brado was justin Hawk Bradja for Rouke and Henry. Oh Godwin, I'm sorry,
Phineas, I got it, like Jeremy came on board and like O
two, we need someone pre je. We need a pre Jeremy guy to
like run some of this stuff by and we don't have any sources. But
I want to thank you the bush Man for give me the h Acolyte brad
show. And you know what, it doesn't look a thing like Bradshaw.
Yeah, not at all. But that's those like Nelich outlaws figured they're horrible

out to dinner the other night. We're at Ruth Chris, a very expensive
steakhouse. And was it just you the women involved the women were there.
They were there. You never know these days. He enjoys some mediumware stays
and wine and he pulls out this bag and what's inside is a dog faced
gremlin Rick Steiner WCW Wrestling Buddy, very very hard to get in pretty damn
good condition. There was a couple couple of little rips in it. But
the fluff was there. You know what I'm saying that he wasn't deflated,
no good fluff. Yeah. I washed him about five times in the five
Yeah, I just keep going in a pillowcase. First time pillowcase, other
four times, no pillowcase. Why just do it? Just watch risky move,
folks. I don't. I don't condone that. If you don't like
me, bite me. I guess the dog the dog based gremlin h w
CW Wrestling Buddy. He also got me a thousand dollars Browski Hasbro figure.
Oh yeah, what was up with that? It was incredible. It was
so well done. It was using a matel head and with these figures,
you know, with Hasbro's the Hasbro figures have Next and Mattel figures, don't
whoever made this custom had a custom neck. It was so well done on
the back. It had the z R sign with like the dollars sign.
Also, yeah, so Marty, thank you very much. Marty's a good
friend and good friend of the pot. I feel like you owe him now
you need to get him something, something good. Well, I had the
pressures on. Sorry, um, and that is I think it from my

Yes, it was very hard to get that figure, believe it or
not. All right, Up next is the Incarnation of Domination. The Incarnation
of Domination is a weekly segment where we choose a superstar and every week we
try to stop each other and we discussed our favorite versions of that superstar.
This week it is my turn to stomp you. But already spoiled it.
You did spoil a little bit. But you know what, Sally, it's
Paul. Why so are we eliminating giant figures? Every every Paul White figure
is on the table here. That's a lot, a lot, a lot.
I'm not gonna talk about all now. Saying his San Francisco Toy Bakers.
He's at the vibrator. He's got the rubber ljan and the plastic one.
Wait what like the plastic like Hasbro rusque style one. Yes, yeah,
um, he's in the first toy basin amazing choke slam hand. It's
great and it's like it's gigantic. What about the two packeries at the neck
brace? Was just stupid? But might be one of my favorites, if
not my favorite, the one right off the bat, the one that comes
with the ray that does the choke slam. It's like pretty perfect. The
first figure, even though his figures aren't that great style. Yeah there's no
beard, Yeah, but he didn't when he first first came, it was
it was a very but there was nothing on this figure. Five o'clock shadow
could have could have helped. Yeah. Um, I used to use my
Hasbro Giant Gonzales, not as the Giant, but like I would use him
like the Giant. You know what I'm saying. I guess you give him
that kind of push, you know. Um. Yeah, so that the
the action feature Toymaker. No, see yeah, the vibrator all those times,
even though is he like slightly bigger than the other ones? Are they
all the size of the vibrator. No, not the vibrate but the other
one. He's slightly bigger, but the vibrators are all the same. Was
really like tast match the same size as the Giant. Ridiculous, okay,
see you But the toy Biz one, especially the ones, but the brace
I love the brace one. There's the I would actually love to get him
on here now if he's back to tell the story about going to toy Fair.
Oh, that's right, taking those picks. I think he would do
it. He would do it. It's been over twenty years. No,
but I mean, like, come on the pot, That's what I'm saying.
Yeah, but um, series nine, the rumor always was is that
he was still in her contract but took reference photos at toy Fair for Jack's.
That's why that first Jack's figure comes out so fast, and it comes
out with him in cloth T shirt jeans because that's what he was wearing.
And they repaint a bunch of times, even as a ref Yeah, what's
that figure? Although not a bone count, is still pretty awesome, so
that counts, but not under the drive. It's not a bone counter actually
feature, but it's meant to be in the line that was not meant to
that's a novelty pack of figures. Um. So many Titan Trons, which
are pretty cool. Yeah, he has very because of his size. His
figures are always pretty unique, but I think in the Titan Trons they're never
quite right. I don't think Jack's really nails it until we get to ar
three. He's also changed his look like all Big show there's like ponytail short
hair show. What about the one that has the al snow shirt. That's
ridiculous, um J C. Penny exclusive actually pretty rare. That are three
big show I think changed the game for figures, and that's my favorite big
show. I think to this day it is still like perfect. It's so
perfect. They use that mold with Ruthless Aggression figures, right, probably they
used it for Entre the Giant. I mean, his mantels are pretty sweet.
I know you don't really dabble in the modern day guys, no,
but I love his giant figure. I know I love his current big show
one from like the Survivor series esc era, like right when he won the
title the first time. Yeah, a brand new one. Yeah, that
one's good. Yeah. The modern day ones are like pretty good, like
with the last one that uh that fan central one that went was on like
on the deathbeded Toys r Us. It's a really nice figure. I think
I'm gonna have to go with the toy biz just because I love that figure
when as a kid and playing with it its size alone, I'm gonna go
with the new It's cool about that, and like I think this is putting
it into perspective because we just did the Ljan episode, Like Andre was a
giant, but they crouched him down and there's nothing you can do about that.
But this had joints and stuff, so like, if you put him
fully extended, he's a giant. I think my favorite one is definitely the
R three and not they made a cooler. They added like tattoos and stuff.
Later on Bob original R three, she had the perfect choke slam hand.
He's way bigger than everyone else like that. Jeff Hardy put it next
to that that figure was ahead of its time. He's had a lot,
so many we didn't even scratch just toys, Bro, We're forgetting so many.
I mean it's it's a lot. That's why I said, are we
doing giant? Paul? Like? What are we doing now? Is there?
He has Jack's class of Superstars figures many What if Mattel can make one,
uh flashback Big Show, Paul White, what would you want a recanmobile
with a hearst and a casket? Oh, come on, my dad,
I want them to make um hm, that's a good question. I want
him to make like like almost like a Series nine, like a big show,
like in the street clothes. I guess right, but at this point
his debut from like Saint Valentine's Day masker, like what is that what he
wore? That? It's something similar similar? Right? Yeah, I guess
that wouldn't be it. Yeah, he's had a very blessed figure career,
like and it's a cool dude, no no left. Remember remember when we
worked up the first time? You remember he said to us. I know
exactly what he said. He pulled us into a room and it was just
come back but edgead Era and it was like we were on a tour and
they randomly changed the card like we weren't doing what we were normally doing,
and it just said like two on one handicapped match like Hawkins Ride against Big
Show. And he pulled us into a room and he's like talking to us,
He's just did you guys ever work with a giant before? And he's
like, well, let me rephrase that, did you ever work with a
giant that can work before? I was just thinking about that whole statement.
Clearly he can work. It's great. Clearly that was a shot at Kellie,
but he wasn't even there. So like Collie wasn't even on the roster
at that point. Definitely he was in the way. So wait, he's
there were edgeheads Kylie's Way before us, Kylie Tab six he did, Yeah,
it was after us. He was like almost a year before us.
Oh, okay, damn. He wins the belt like our first month on
the road. Okay, yeah, a year later due Collie Wrestling at our
WrestleMania where we ran into the main event. Was even on it. Oh
wrestling, Buddy was in the battle year before. He's against Glenn and that's
thinker, Oh my god, you're right he was on the roster. Yeah,
and then that year I don't know what he does. There's some some
weird questions. Tag team match I had in Japan where I'm team with the
Big Show and he's wearing a Broskie wig. It has like these giant orange
sunglasses that to this day I still have. That's unbelievable, like giant.
He's one of a cod I love. I love Paul. All right,

Gobby, can you please explain the difference between Titan Tron R three and Ruthless
aggression figures? Hashtag ask Major pot, Well, Dan, how do you
want to tackle that? All right? So I realized we use a lot
of terminology that sometimes we get the folk might not and we get really uh
too caught up in how deep our discussion is sometimes, and that's our fault.
The Titan Tron figures these came out in nineteen ninety nine or two thousand
ninety nine, very end of ninety nine, very end of ninety Yes,
it was a Titan tron Um play set. It came with Vince McMahon and
all these figures. They were now more articulated. They were all plastic,
no more rubber. Um. This is this is the transition from a bone
from bone crunching action. Also um. When referring to all these or looking
them up, sometimes you'll see the abbreviation, so youhould probably know that TTL
Well here bone crunching action BCA Tighten Tron live, which is what the placet
was called. That's how they got that name, is TTL R three.
That's an easy one, R three and then ruthless aggression. You'll see sometimes
as an R A figure. And these tighten Tron figures had little metal chips
on the bottom of the feet and you would put that on the Titan Tron
and they would read the chip and the Titan Tron had um not that many
pictures on it. But like, for instance, Gangrell, if he went
through the tron now during the Titan Tron kind of like the opening of our
podcast, yes exactly, that's exactly what it is, and it would read
Gangrill, and it would Gangrels picture would light up and it would play like
a horrible crabby version of his song. Yes. So Series one, Titan
Tron Live and the Double Slam two packs which are also Titan Tron style figures,
and the Titans Tron itself all kind of came out the exact same time
with the Titan Tron came with an exclusive insct Man, right, and that
was the big like it was a super cool, big debut, super cool
concept, but the execution is like, okay, now we after series one
and two, we only have like ten guys on the Titan Tron, so
guys nowhere to go. Yeah. So for instance, like I think Edging
Christian would use Gangrel and they would Gangrel's music would light up or his picture
would light up. But then like you would just use like Ken Shamrock would
just play the generic WWE so and then they made other playsets to go along
with it, to update it, but it was never never still the test
of time. So what basically came of it is the name Titan Tron stuck.
But the concept kind of went away, and I think, yeah,
and like they even took out the chip, yes, eventually, Yeah,
so those early ones they actually those early ones don't have real scan, which
is very obvious because the faces are. Then they had horrendous likeness. Then
they added the real scan and kind of got away from the chip, but
the style of figure and the name Titan Tron live lived on. Then we
got to Our three. Right now, this is kind of weird because Titan
Tron was still going on during R three, but Our three had its own
set, right R three real scan, real scale, real something else.
R three get it, Yes, And in theory, the whole body was
gonna be real scan, not just the face, so everyone was gonna have
their unique body, which I think Series one and two do have, right,
So like Jeff, but then they just got big Show is one of
the best figures ever. Jericho was really good, Jeff Hardy. But then
yeah, then they started just reusing the bodies, and that's when I stopped
liking it personally. Um, so, I mean same, what's the three
rs. I'm trying to find it real scale, real skin, real reaction.
And these I liked because it had like the articulation was cool and like
you said, the ones that were they were made the way they were supposed
to be made, are like really nice. Um, But then just the
laziness kicked in, you know where they weren't um putting the effort into new
guys like they did the original guys and just using the same bodies and stuff.
So then the R three run is very very short, right, it's
only a couple of years long. I think it's a couple of years.
But that big show they would use forever, so that will get to that.
Okay. Then, as we've covered many times, the ruthless aggression style
figures kick in in the spring of two thousand and three, when those are
the ones that kind of stood the test of time. That when what the
classic Superstars are made out of and whatnot. The whole like, um,
ruthless aggression was the thing, and John Cena, that's how I picture Rule's
aggression is that series on John Cena because him Brock, because Brock was real
popular. But like John Cena in his promo is opening promo to Kurt Angles
is ruthless aggressions. This is big thing any time, and he's in series
one. I have a I have an vintage on boxing on our YouTube channel
YouTube dot com slash excuse me, take a shot major podum. But then
those figures, those body types lasted till the deathbed of Jack's and even the
Classic Superstars are using the ruthless aggression bodies And right, did you mean to
say FTC guys those as well? They say, though not, but they
all know um. And then to wrap this all up, what gets real
confusing is that even though ruthless aggression guys were the predominant line that Jackson is
producing, they mixed in basically as like a laziness slash cost cut egg slash
whatever, Um, Titan, Tron, R three and ruthless guys sometimes all
in the same series. So it would be a series will come out and
I mean Classic Superstars one as all three correct, bro unbelievable, Yeah,
because Tron on the Digger and R three Andre the Giant on a big show
body and in a term that we've kind of made up on the show.
We call it the mixed error. This went on totally mixed for a way
too long. Um, I want to say, into like oh five or
six, maybe they finally stopped, like it's it's disgusting. Yeah, no
excuse for it. It really is no excuse for it. Um. But
that's pretty much. That's that's really it. That's the uh I think we
exist of it. It's too I mean, if you didn't live it to
know what happened, it's definitely very confusing and bizarre. But that's, uh,
that's just the history of it, I think. Yeah, I mean,
just just storing your Google machine and you'll and you'll find it. And
uh, like I said, it's kind of it's kind of hard because,
for instance, you're searching for tighten tron lies, but then Stacy Keibler and
Tory come out during the rule discussion era, but they're in tightened Tron live
figures. So you gotta be very careful when you're finding your checklist completely completely
all over the place, all over the place. Okay, Um, this
one is from huss Underscore Berserker. I love the old Jack's box sets,
but Mattel's had been kind of disappointing. What do you think could have been
or should change to get some winners, more accessories, price points, better
character choices hashtag ask major pod Um. If you grew up in the Jack's
bone crunching era, those box sets were like, so do apport your collection.
But I think we're I think we just had these nostalgic feelings. If
you look back, some of them are absolute garbage. And make the selection
of who's in him. Okay, I'll make make less than I'm gonna say
a set right now and you're gonna say, what the okay, Stone Cold
Steve Auston for the first time, we're one of those first versions of him
in Austin three sixteen, which is a huge deal. Brett the Hitman Heart
okay, a referee and Ahmed Johnson with a ladder like what But at the
time it was so cool because what's triple threat? Triple threat? Mark merrow
yokna and with a yellow chair? Okay, two yellow chairs? How did
that happen? That was But what they did was what Jacks would do sometimes
is that would be the only way to get get a figure. So that
was the only time to get yokozuna. UM, I do agree. I
think a lot of it is sentimental for sure because we grew up with it.
But on the flip side, in their defense and whatnot, um,
I think where I mean, I think it's obviously an elite figure and Mattel's
attempt at four packs a big cost. Okay, these things were Jack's four
packs were nineteen ninety nine. There's no way mattel can company that one figures
nineteen eighty nine. Um. Also, to give them some credit, the
packaging was always pretty special. Yeah. On the Jack's box sets, there
was like a very eye catching and colorful and theme to something. Um.
The mattel Onans have been kind of bland and and they're like my last point
on this and it's the same boat. The Jackson's were also like almost handheld,
whereas like the Mattelans have been giant nor so much wasted space waste at
space on the shelves and even in your collection, that's a that's a lot
of real estate. You're gonna keep that inbox. I mean, like the
last mattel One I can remember is that target. I don't even know what
you want to call it. Mish mosh like Larry's Abisco. It was w
W Nitro guys, that's what they call which I'll give them a pass because
it was their way of getting Zibisco out. I think there's so much which
no offense the Larry legend, but if he was sitting on the shelves by
himself, no, I agree to now forget about well so they. I
think we sometimes forget that. Mattel has made some cool ones, like the
Undisputed Era three pack. I think we're not considering that a box set.
I guess that's okay. That's a big exception of that one rules and it
is selling very well. Yeah, but these are all I guess these are
new. Do you count milk Romania as a box set? It is a
box set? But I think I don't know why. But to me,
Jack's one's before and these are three, so there's something about that that's different.
I agree, And I think the best Jack's four pack of all time
is the one that came to the titles for the first time. Yeah,
I mean, I can't there's so many cool ones at its time. Now,
like we get titles, we take it for granted. Yeah, you
know, literally the only way to get Yeah, it was the only way
to get them was in these four packs until later on, like they would
they would do it, but not for bone crunchers. Yeah, you got
to get these special four packs hardcore four pack a hardcore title, but that
you needed that because it's the only way to get hard again. Yeah,
yeah, so Appreciate had no hardcore title than he had four Um so what
can matell do differently? I don't know. I think I would love to
see the four pack come back. Uh, you gotta cut the packaging size
down maybe, And I mean and then you know, this is this is
way out of our wheelhouse. But like it's it's got to be cost effective.
But like I said, you can't. You're not going to compare to
the nineteen ninety nine. There are some good Mattael ones, like we just
said, but also you know which one I really loved, the one with
Bobby Heenan Andre Big John Stuff family. I mean, the four horse the
only way to get Big John stuff. I don't know, you weren't actively
collecting motels on that four horsemen pack came out at the tail end. That
was like the way the city though, no, no, no, at
first It was very similar to the way people just went nuts to get this
Aust Black set. You know, people just did like the set's going to
be on the shelves, and people went nuts to get it right away.
It was the same thing with this four Horsemen said, I mean people were
going nuts to get I remember it was at a convention for like one hundred
and fifty bucks, so people really buying it. But uh, and then
eventually it was just there. You know. I feel like that for that's
the only way to get Barry within them, right, which I think is
cool. That's what I'm saying. If you're gonna make a four pack,
and of course they're gonna be repainting there, of course, but give us
an exclusive in there and make people want to go get this four pack or
three pack or sometimes they make like six packs, right like those Net spotlights
school now old school toys arrust ones there, but those are basics. Hyeah,
all right, that was a good question. Cool, alright, mine.

the figures that come in the slam crate worth collecting? Don't care about them?
Don't like them? Hashtag asked major pot Um. I don't collect them,
not saying I don't like them, I just, um don't. I
guess know enough about them. I've seen them. They're in rings, right,
they're displayed in rings. Um, So what what about these that intrigues
me? And why I picked this question is because they're designed by Brian Batty.
Are you familiar the old custom guy? Yes? Wow, I didn't
know that. I was wondering if you knew that or not cool? And
he There's the reason I even know this is because I did a baseball crate
that UM had the same thing with baseball guys in the same style and stuff.
And then I was connecting all the dots and I actually think kabana m
i'd even told me or something. Oh you know what? Yeah, I
think so too, Yeah yeah, or maybe he told us both or does
he knows Brian Batty? He went to school and we're talking. He's like
a Chicago guy or something. There's something about that. But that's why I
think they're cool. I don't collect the Can you show me a picture of

Wrestling Figs forum, someone remember Brian Batty, and there's a whole thread about
people talking about so very talented customizer. He was like a breathtaking customizer and
like the attitude infancy of figure forums and stuff, and would post stuff and
people would be like, how are you doing this? You know, there's
a picture, there's a Sasha, there's a Seth, a Hunter Taker with
the mask. So this is like his site with all his art and stuff.
That's cool. I mean he's very very talented, there's no doubt about
that. Oh wow. But these aren't all figures though, these are just
like this is just art. There's the ww guys. Oh wow, that
warrior damn wow. I mean he he's he's the real deal. It's very
unique. Everything is an enlarged head, but it's Michael Jordan. Now these
real figures that are just see I think some of them are just concepts.
Yeah, oh yeah wow. I might have to go back and get some
of these. Very cool. I wonder if slam Create wants to be a
sponsor, send um some, send us some. So there's one figure,
there's whatever, one a month, and uh, I mean they're cool.
I I've contemplated my cne one eBay maybe, I mean, you'd probably want
more of the classic guys. I'm a classic guy because the classic guy,
the Stone Call, is really cool. Oh yeah, it's definitely something worth

Desco at Disney and Beyond. If Mattel made a major w pod line of
figures and there were five figures in a series one set, who would those
five figures be, all pertending to our show, all pertaining to much You
already know my opinion. So, like you're talking like Tommy Boy from Oh
No, if I like, first of all, would never be Mattel figures
of this podcast because this this podcast is technically not affiliate with Mattel or WWE.
Yeah, we're actually full of schools are working on a toy line.
Um by now there might be some news out there on that. But if
I could, if I could really pick series one, and I don't even
know if we could do this, it would be us in like our podcast
Street Clothes, us in Stop in Paradise Gear, and then I would have
Horns Boggle Naked with the title Yeah, that would be my five. Okay,
I can't talk right. I didn't understand the question A fair was like,
but the hornspogle, how do we do it naked? I think if
you take the title off, it's all like blurry. I think he just
has h tan trunks on trus. Yeah. Um, but we we obviously
we wouldn't be able to do all. We'd have to get tattoos and but
we'd have to uh buy the rights to the Rakishi Titan trone to get the

figure of the week is figure when you look at it, you go,
what golf bleep that mark? This week it's some more good friends at Ringside
Collectibles. And I already told him we were doing this, so they're not
gonna get all pissy. Yeah, but it is a Ringside Collectible's exclusive.
Now also full disclosure. I said on Twitter that we were looking for this,
looking for wtfs and if you suggested it, we's a new best it
wishes aight by ten. So the guy who suggested this to Chris Marino at
Crusader six one, eight eight, you will be getting the Best Wishes eight
by ten and his suggestion was the Ringside Collectible exclusive TAZ Classic Superstar. But
it's how do you scribe this? Uh? Okay, I don't. I'm
trying to You said, you asked John about this and he didn't really give
you too much detail. Gave me just like what happened. Okay, So
it's tax It's a Taz ecw TAZ in the singlet, he's got a towel.
Who was now for the towel that he'd wear on his head, but
this package, oh no, has it clipped around his waist. Valvenus.
So there was some some kind of really bad mix up with Jack's where they
be. Instead of putting the towel next to him in the packages and accessory,
wrapped it around his waist and clipped it onto. It looks like he's
wearing a black black dress. It looks like Saturn and the dress. So
this figure when it came out was oh my god, bad. But when
it come out, it didn't come out. Ringside didn't. Ringside sold it
loose. Yeah, but they knew it was a mess up, and they
unpackaged them and sent them out. But then I guess they kept some and
then eventually did I can't think. I think they kept some because like,
obviously they're embarrassed by this too, and then like, hey, here's some.
Did sneak through the cracks and get released with that? I think they
purposely kept like fifty of them or so or whatever, But so Ringside would
sell them loose with the towel off it. Sometimes the towel would stain the
guys. The major problem no pun intended with all Jack's cloth accessories. I
think Mattel as well. I think so too, but I'm also so nuts
about it that I won't even take him. I okay, well I don't
do that, but I like, if I'm not going to display, if
I don't want to figure displayed with this cloth accessory, I take it off
and I put it in a zip buck and then and I don't let it
even touch a plastic because I don't want it to stain it. But it's
a big problem. Like anyway, I was thinking about, like I watched
those Viceland docks and stuff, and I was thinking about the free Birds and
the von Erst. That freebird set is the number one thing I think of
when I think of his Jack's stained product, Like all three of them are
just destroyed. When you open those now there there's no turning back. And
it's been years and years and years. If you open a min on card
freebirds, do you think, oh, it's men on card, It's gonna
be great. It's destroyed. You just gotta like accept it. But with
this TAZ, they originally, like I said, released it with the towel
around his way, but then they fixed it regular packaging towel on the side.
Yeah, yeah, they fixed it. So if you were to buy
this, if you had a pre order, I guess back in the day,
you would get it loose. I'd be pissed. I think the real
thing here is and if John doesn't, well, yes, and if John
doesn't know, then we'll never know, like what the numbers are, like
what was how many? How many had the towel around the waist, how
many got opened, how many didn't, how many got replenished and fixed?
Right, And it's just it's it's literally clipped on like the Valdesta. It's
kind of it's very google ble. Imagine like Trevor or John's face when that
shipment showed up. Man, that's gotta be all time, like twenty thousand
tads like that? Noah, I think like three or five thousand or that
still has to be like what the well, that's why it's the WTF figure
of the which is right, I believe after tads got upset about the one
night saying mumu that yes, So it's like he's got like he's cursed.

How many Dave Lees are there that you need to You couldn't come up with
something else anyway. I've started buying w W retro after years away from collecting.
Some of the figures I bought I don't really want, such as two
Stings to Kevinoa's Triple Ah, et cetera. Do you think I should sell
or keep to complete the collection? There's a couple of things about this,
well, like okay, you gotta but okay, really you really your collections?
Your collection? You set the rules. Sure, so you know you
need to first decide am I completest or am I not? If you're completest?
Yes, he just like random and Triple Asia you didn't want it or
something because the variant trilated the one logo. Maybe but I wouldn't count I
don't think he's counting that that. Listen, the variant triplation is a mess
up. I don't count that. I think that's ridiculous. Uh too,
but like there's no like you're the boss of your own collection. So if
you're a completest, you're completest. If you're not, then you make up
your own rules and you get what you want to get and that's your deal.
So if you don't want something, you got to decide that. I
think, you know what, don't listen to Hawkins. Um it's two actually
figures to stay in the KO just also gonna regret it at this early in
the game. Like retro line is gonna be around forever and ever and years
and years. I mean, why wouldn't it the best and best linements gated
the most popular thing in Mattel history. So uh, only it's right now
the retros right now, literally right now, you're thinking about two stings and
two cavzones, the only repeat spend the fifteen we're coming on ten sets.
You know that's not that's not like a big deal. And I get it.
The KO listen, I'd love KO. I wish there wasn't two a
ko though, but it had to be done, and that or no figures
that are yeah, I mean people get fired and whatever I'll happen. I
don't remember idiots and yeah whatever, I don't remember who he replaced, but
he had to replace somebody very last minute. So it's not not a Bill
Endell. And luckily he's different. He's not the same figure and sing wolfpack
sting and even really that doesn't bother me at all because that's like significantly different
in my opinion. That's like saying you don't have to get both macho Man's
right, you have to Uh, that's your call, buddy. I mean
a collections what you make of it. There's no set rules. You're the
boss. You make the rules. You know, collector which one I would
get them now? Just because they're gonna go up in value and that's supposed
to be going on too. Yeah, and now we're like we're making these
retro rings stickers and ropes and like, yes, it's a plug for our
stuff. But at the same time, it's not like one day these rings
are going to disappear, you know what I'm saying, Like they're not going
to be available on Amazon Overside or whatever. They just have to right,
So I would say buy them up all now, either to like you have
them as like gold in your closet, or to make retro rings like we're
just yeah, just to be safe, you know. Yeah, that's what
I would say. And uh, I mean I don't think it's retros are
going anywhere. That the best thing Matell's got going right now. Um,
I say get them all collectible, That's what I say. Uh. That's
a great question though. When my question comes from Ryan logs don At it's
our fl hashtag ask major Pod when coming up with WrestleMania gear, do you
take into consideration what it will look like in figure form? Congrats on your
success her, I've well, me, I don't know what you're gonna say
about this, but I don't think I've ever gotten gear where I wasn't thinking
about the toys. But that's every time. But that's me and you because
we're psychopaths and toy addicts and think very differently than our colleagues. When I
wore my like sting Usa inspider jacket, I thought for sure, like,
oh, if Mattel makes this, they'll just like repaint the great American bash
Sting jacket, but no Bill won the actual mile. Maybe a brand new
nikof jacket and this WrestleMania, I mean this WrestleMania obviously you know we're not
gonna talk about it, but something cool habit for us. And but we
didn't know that when we got the gear made. Dude, you know,
my gear in my mine just because the rest of my name was in our
hometown and all my friends and family are coming. Well one my favorite,
my favorite, it's my favorite football team, Okay. And I had this
idea like one night only, Like I've only worn orange and blue since two
thousand and four, oh Man twenty thirteen. I haven't worn any other colors,
and I was gonna be one night only thing I'll never do it again,
which was still the idea. And I was like, and hey,
you know what, my friends and family are gonna be there. They can
pick me out of the Andrea a lot easier in this bright green outfit.
Right. That was literally what I thought. So that's all I'm saying about
that. Um So, mine a couple of things. First of all,
I want to thank TTD Wrestling, the guy who designs a lot of our
major w pod T shirts. I went to him and got some gear made.
You saw what I came up, and he's like, oh, I
need him to make my gear. You showed me what he and I just
blew my mind. I went, oh, man TTD wrestling kills. I
had my idea, but it had no way to like execute it right.
And then he did it for me, which I can't. I can't ever
thank him enough for that. Well. I knew that we were coming back
to New York, New Jersey, whatever you want to call it, and
the last time WrestleMania was in New York, New Jersey. We didn't do
but I had specially gear made up for that day. It was like statual
liberty with a headband. It's a odd but ended up wearing it on the
raw the next day. I was a big a man. I don't think
I had gear. I don't think I had I had a gear, and
I had all those stickers. We're not gonna talk about what we know about
that, sorry, but I don't think. I don't think I was disillusioned
enough then to like have I was totally disilusioned. This is like going on,
I had it? Was it still a thing? Yeah? In twenty
thirteen. It was like, ye're was mark or April twenty thirteen? Is
that media? Oh so maybe it was the tail end. It it just
ended. It just ended in that January. Yeah. Oh I'm dead,
like buried alive. You know, I'm over. But this year I knew
it would be special to be in New York, New Jersey. Uh So,
I wanted to pay tribute to Christian, one of my favorite wrestlers.
When I I guess, well, he probably doesn't have a friend, but
I think he's a friend. Uh he's he's very Bill mckenas. Yeah,
I don't know if he actually likes here. Yeah yeah. Um So I
wanted like the Wrestle Many twenty year. I love that figure. I love
that gears, that white with that gold. Um so, I got like
that kind of design, but I wanted I wanted logos um that kind of
told a story. You know, my gear told a story, so like
I mean told a story to me. If you're looking at it, probably
like what they but um so it had like that Wrestle Many twenty christian esque
style. Uh and the waist band and then um on one kneepad. It
has like the the Broski logo, but on a skeleton like the Browski's Dead,
Like no one else would know that except for like me, if you're
really like analyzing it, you know, this question just got so deep inside.
Whereas like if you I feel like if you asked like nine out of
ten, it's red, because I picked red, like there's nothing too well,
I mean, that's what I wanted. On one kneepad it was like
a skeleton like with the headband and the crack. It was a cracked glass
like the Browski's Dead. And the other kneepad was like the rated OAR Superstar
but ZR. And the back was instead of like the still Here, it
was the still major um. And I thought like this would be great,
like as gear, but I didn't. I didn't think anything would ever come
from it. And then I had awesome entrance gear that I got from Maya
from clayde Man. She makes the Backsheet Boys stuff, and it just so
happened by time I ordered it, it came in time, and then like
we ended up getting that match, so I was like, well, I'm
wearing all this like it's gonna be a great night. And then we ended
up winning, which which is cool. And if we get figured out of
this, like wow, um my gear, said c U R T Kirk
Kirk Kurtains, j E T S Jets, Jets, Jets, Oh my
god, we're gonna end then that Broski just came at me with some sports

It became easier for me to download stuff directly from the Patreon feed,
which after certain amount of episodes, includes all of the ad free and early
shows, and a lot of those the ones I download because it's also a
smaller file size are the ones that don't have the jingles. And you know,
listen, I'm a diehard major Mark just like all of you. Just
like all of you. I listened to the episodes. I know what the
jingles are and I could I hear them. I could repeat them verbatim with
a gun to my head. If it were a million dollars, I would
be a millionaire if I were told to repeat one of these jingles word for
word. Unfortunately, you know, I don't know. I don't know if
