Episode 6 - Horus strikes at the Loyalist forces and the Loyalists begin to strike back at Horus

[SPEAKER_02]: Today, we're going to continue our coverage of what I would call a diaspora of stories.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's or anyone knows anything about warfare knows that that being the attacker is what you don't want to be the defender.
[SPEAKER_02]: It always has less casualties.
[SPEAKER_02]: I made a note here by Aging Core.
[SPEAKER_02]: So that's for those who

[SPEAKER_01]: I was just going to say, I'm such a dork in history.

[SPEAKER_01]: It's a big push in the glasses back.
[SPEAKER_02]: So Horace, his big push at this point is to disrupt the impairment and make it so they can't get as many reinforcements there.
[SPEAKER_02]: So that he can bring an overwhelming force and power through these gigantic massive licasualties, but he can power through all the way to his final goal, which is
[SPEAKER_01]: And we talked about this a little bit in the last episode.
[SPEAKER_01]: The problem with Horace sending his armies to do these things is
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh yeah, his armies are now infused with not just the power of chaos, but the influence of chaos.
[SPEAKER_01]: So everybody he sends to do something.
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh yeah, I don't know if you mentioned the name chaos that usually doesn't mean follow orders to the letter.
[SPEAKER_02]: I've been playing the game for
[SPEAKER_02]: little bit in totality, a decade plus spreads, maybe more than that.
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know a single purse plays off the Legion.
[SPEAKER_02]: You.
[SPEAKER_01]: We're going to have so many people hit us up on this one.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's been rut kind and it's never been completely done on.
[SPEAKER_01]: The problem with it is that, well, I want to go there, but the thing with the story is one, they've rut kind of multiple times.
[SPEAKER_01]: Alfredius was originally the last one to be found and then we found out he was actually the first one to be found and he was always in terrible use of secret agent and then he's actually a twin.
[SPEAKER_01]: So we have Alfredius and Megan.
[SPEAKER_01]: And did he turn to chaos?
[SPEAKER_01]: Did he not turn to chaos?
[SPEAKER_01]: Did one of the twins turn to chaos?
[SPEAKER_01]: And the other stayed loyal?
[SPEAKER_01]: And the answer is yes.
[SPEAKER_02]: That's again.
[SPEAKER_02]: So we're going to have to do a quick foreshadow to a future podcast of a group called the Cabal.
[SPEAKER_02]: We will spend a lot of time in the Cabal.
[SPEAKER_02]: The Cabal are a, we'll dig in this later.
[SPEAKER_02]: But just notice that there is a group of people.
[SPEAKER_02]: I think it crosses species that they're the aluminum out of.
[SPEAKER_02]: Forty count of the forty gate of Earth's.
[SPEAKER_02]: Alpharius and his twin brother ran into them randomly and were told by the Kabul.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, it's a big deal on this because they give them the outcomes of the Civil War and then they tell them to make a decision, which is the Emperor will win if you help the Emperor.
[SPEAKER_03]: Hmm.
[SPEAKER_01]: And the Imperium will be torn a thunder, and it will be a never-ending civil war, nothing will ever work.
[SPEAKER_02]: Eventually, eaten by chaos.
[SPEAKER_02]: And this is by this meeting happens well before the heresy.
[SPEAKER_02]: The affairous twins are aware of their son and make us know this.
[SPEAKER_02]: So their options are, bread said, the emperor wins, and humanity's eaten by chaos.
[SPEAKER_02]: Or Horace wins, and humanity dies.
[SPEAKER_02]: But the chaos gods survive because they need humanity.
[SPEAKER_02]: As much as the other species exist, humanity is the feeder of chaos.
[SPEAKER_02]: That's why these stories are so important with humanity.
[SPEAKER_02]: They're so interlinked.
[SPEAKER_02]: The elder are only fed one God.
[SPEAKER_02]: It's set it pretty well.
[SPEAKER_02]: But they made it.
[SPEAKER_02]: They made it.
[SPEAKER_02]: Works, I assume, are solace and probably so rare.
[SPEAKER_02]: It is.
[SPEAKER_02]: They're solace.
[SPEAKER_02]: They're solace out.
[SPEAKER_02]: So yeah, if you're feeding on solace, you kind of got humans in town.
[SPEAKER_02]: And I can shit talk to out for a while, but I will.
[SPEAKER_02]: So Elferas and I are going to give this choice.
[SPEAKER_02]: And they actually decide that what the emperor would want is chaos to die.
[SPEAKER_02]: So they should be on team kill the emperor.
[SPEAKER_01]: But they don't fully commit them.
[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
[SPEAKER_01]: And this is where we go into, we're going to do another episode on it because it's a big deal because the argument has always been, did they actually turn to Kass or not?
[SPEAKER_01]: Because if they turn to Kass, they did a super shitty job.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: They warn multiple systems of what Horace is doing.
[SPEAKER_01]: So the Emperor, basically, Tara learns of Horace coming to Tara way before Horace wants him to, because he's literally leading a campaign of disinformation.
[SPEAKER_01]: And Opharius ruins it.
[SPEAKER_01]: And he also ruins multiple other places.
[SPEAKER_01]: He ruins supply places.
[SPEAKER_01]: He destroys different planets that he should have.
[SPEAKER_02]: He all go horns that.
[SPEAKER_02]: My opinion, my opinion is I think how far is Nomegon were actually in it for themselves.
[SPEAKER_02]: And we've seen this die in the stories before where they were actually their viewpoint was they were trying to save mankind while also helping Horace and the Emperor.
[SPEAKER_02]: They I view it as they did a system by system conflicts by conflict decision.
[SPEAKER_02]: And we'll go into one of them actually pretty shortly here with the white scars.
[SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, they, they, they start crashing and just running with him.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it went like, man, but we'll get a bit of a deeper, but effectively these guys are a little bit confusing because
[SPEAKER_02]: You know, whereas we'll get into some later, who really turned to chaos.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, you also never know which one of the brothers is in charge.
[SPEAKER_01]: In charge.
[SPEAKER_01]: We also don't know because one of them is more cast than the other, but you don't know which one that is.
[SPEAKER_01]: And it's kind of a confusion up until this day to be honest with you.
[SPEAKER_02]: And as far as what they're going on, one of the first things that they're sent to do is the alpha legions actually worn the larger legions to.
[SPEAKER_02]: So Horace is actually able to wield them pretty powerful.
[SPEAKER_01]: the last season to be implemented.
[SPEAKER_01]: So they've also suffered the most the least amount of losses.
[SPEAKER_01]: They've had the least amount of campaigns.
[SPEAKER_01]: They also are super buttered about that and trying to prove themselves.
[SPEAKER_01]: Kind of goes into why they're
[SPEAKER_01]: We want to show you we're better than everybody else kind of think comes in and Horace with them much of the night lord's aside.
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to use the alpha legion to go and disrupt that's what their job is and they were in the weird thing is is that the alpha legion is too many places to be honest with you.
[SPEAKER_01]: They're everywhere harassing multiple other space marine loyalist legions throughout this time.
[SPEAKER_01]: They are literally season eight game of thrones jumping around the galaxy.
[SPEAKER_02]: And that one of the end to what Brad and I were discussing earlier in this cast where the warp distorts time and the Imperium is not really sure of who's on what side.
[SPEAKER_02]: The first real big
[SPEAKER_02]: blow up without the Legion is actually with the Space Wolves.
[SPEAKER_02]: So the Space Wolves have just finished attacking Prospero.
[SPEAKER_02]: I think that completely demolishing Prospero.
[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, thank you very much.
[SPEAKER_01]: I just want to make sure they pay attention.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: In the books, it's they're looking their wounds and they're rebuilding.
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm pretty sure they were just drinking because they were devastated after they had no while.
[SPEAKER_02]: But anyway, the Alpha Legion shows up at a nowhere and attacks.
[SPEAKER_02]: And the space wolves are brilliantly outnumbered.
[SPEAKER_02]: And during them early, but not knowing friend or foe, the space wolves sent out of this dress called the nearest legion.
[SPEAKER_02]: Who is the White Skars?
[SPEAKER_01]: Which the actions of the White Skars does not make them a friend of Lehman Russ.
[SPEAKER_01]: Also, Lehman Russ holds grudges.
[SPEAKER_01]: He might as well be a dwarf as much as he does.
[SPEAKER_01]: Lehman Russ is the grumpyest of the primers.
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, put Billy Empress.
[SPEAKER_02]: But unfortunately, he's also really cool.
[SPEAKER_01]: So he's also a super bad ass.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, he's amazing, but he's a grouch.
[SPEAKER_02]: So he reaches out.
[SPEAKER_02]: And this is the first time where Alfred is going to attack space, the space walls and just start slaughtering them.
[SPEAKER_02]: The space walls reach out.
[SPEAKER_02]: White scars and the white scars are watched is going, I haven't heard anything about it.
[SPEAKER_01]: The space walls also don't know that they're getting attacked.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's just their brothers showing up.
[SPEAKER_02]: True.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, showing up.
[SPEAKER_02]: And then they do start shooting out.
[SPEAKER_02]: They were just pretty good side of attack.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I'm just saying that you get a pretty good alpha strike when you go to shake somebody's hand and then you shake them.
[SPEAKER_02]: I'llfully begin to attack the space walls fleet and the space walls reach out to Jagatay cons help us help us.
[SPEAKER_02]: We're being attacked in Jagatay cons.
[SPEAKER_02]: right, but my two brothers are fighting each other.
[SPEAKER_02]: Both of you were saying the other ones are trader because Alpha Legion also said the same thing of we have to kill the space walls.
[SPEAKER_02]: They're traders to mankind and thanks to chaos and destruction of the war.
[SPEAKER_02]: They don't know the answer.
[SPEAKER_02]: So the white scars just kind of mows you away like, hey man, too bad.
[SPEAKER_02]: So sad.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, real dick moves.
[SPEAKER_02]: Luckily, there's another prime mark, who's not gonna put up with this crap.
[SPEAKER_02]: However, it shows up out of nowhere.
[SPEAKER_01]: And Russ is super not happy about this.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, of course.
[SPEAKER_02]: Now, it's a dark angel.
[SPEAKER_02]: Spoiler is a dark angel.
[SPEAKER_02]: Now, if you're a extremely tough fighter who prides himself and his ability to just kill anyone, you know who you don't want showing up to help you out.
[SPEAKER_02]: The guy in the shiniest of the shiny armor,
[SPEAKER_01]: The guy that you have, the since you've been born basically, enmity of that you're trying to connect like you want to kill him.
[SPEAKER_01]: You just want to do better than that.
[SPEAKER_01]: Your brother, the shiny brother.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, the shiny super brother who can do no wrong.
[SPEAKER_02]: is the one who shows up and saves your ass.
[SPEAKER_02]: And the only person that makes it worse is that the lions are good guys into the lion rub it in.
[SPEAKER_02]: No, not at all.
[SPEAKER_02]: He's just cool.
[SPEAKER_02]: Like, hey, I heard you were in trouble.
[SPEAKER_02]: Here to help out.
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm going to wipe out this alpha legion.
[SPEAKER_02]: And now you guys are cool or saved thumbs up, right?
[SPEAKER_02]: And then walks away, which makes you like, at least, I mean, at least glowed at me, make me look into what Lehman does after this later.
[SPEAKER_02]: It's actually quite hilarious.
[SPEAKER_02]: So the Alpha Legion lose obviously in this attack to the space we'll have to have to have to do.
[SPEAKER_01]: They don't even lose that much.
[SPEAKER_02]: They just, well, in general, once the dark angels show up, unless you're trying to die, you leave because that's the best way.
[SPEAKER_02]: However, suck at white scars, you know what happens next?
[SPEAKER_02]: all the way to the white sky now.
[SPEAKER_02]: So this is why we're going to now segue into the story of what the white scars were up to.
[SPEAKER_02]: So the white scars as we just discussed, just bail in the space.
[SPEAKER_02]: We'll be attacked by Alpha Legion like it was nothing.
[SPEAKER_02]: Still a dick move, dick move.
[SPEAKER_02]: And then all of a sudden, the Alpha Legion just appears, so that's appearing around the white scars.
[SPEAKER_02]: They might say appear around.
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, well, they're really, they're rounding.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, that's the best part is they don't do any you have that down.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, they really don't do anything.
[SPEAKER_01]: This is the best part showing up.
[SPEAKER_01]: I get again.
[SPEAKER_01]: I need to throw this up there.
[SPEAKER_01]: John takes a ton of time to really prepare for this and we have tons of notes and what I do is I try to just remember instead of looking at his extensive notes and it is amazing.
[SPEAKER_01]: But the Alpha Legion completely surrounds them.
[SPEAKER_01]: It just hangs out in space around.
[SPEAKER_01]: But they also don't communicate with them.
[SPEAKER_01]: They do a complete blackout of communication.
[SPEAKER_01]: But they just hang out.
[SPEAKER_01]: And they completely answer.
[SPEAKER_01]: And they also slowly, but surely in circle, the entire white scar is fleet.
[SPEAKER_02]: And they start getting closer and closer at which point at communication comes through from Brad's buddy, Rogel d'Ornstein.
[SPEAKER_02]: Rogel at this point tells
[SPEAKER_02]: jogging to come.
[SPEAKER_02]: Hey, there's a heresy going.
[SPEAKER_02]: You remember the thing that you probably could help people with a bunch of legions have turned on the emperor?
[SPEAKER_02]: I need you back at earth right now.
[SPEAKER_02]: Like now don't do anything else and come back to earth.
[SPEAKER_02]: The interesting thing is if you really understand alpha legion, alpha legion, more spy masters.
[SPEAKER_01]: their misinformation like the best.
[SPEAKER_02]: So there's no scenario where this communication from Mogul Dorn goes through their outer fleet into the of the Alpha Legion blockade into the White Scars without Alpha Legion being okay with that.
[SPEAKER_02]: At this point, they've surrounded the White Scars and the White Scars get a communication through from Mogul Dorn.
[SPEAKER_02]: laying though what's happened.
[SPEAKER_02]: So at this point, the alpha lesion attacks.
[SPEAKER_02]: The white scars are police around it.
[SPEAKER_02]: Now, I did put a note in here that Brad is laughing at where I wrote, I have the high-drowned Anakin because technically at this point, the white scars should be doomed.
[SPEAKER_02]: They are surrounded by a superior fleet.
[SPEAKER_02]: There is nowhere to go.
[SPEAKER_02]: They are trapped.
[SPEAKER_02]: Now, what are the white scars?
[SPEAKER_02]: How is the super special ability, though, Brad?
[SPEAKER_01]: They are the masters of maneuverability.
[SPEAKER_01]: They are the fastest.
[SPEAKER_01]: They can operate the best at high speeds.
[SPEAKER_01]: And all of their ships are effectively made just like their bikes to go faster than everybody else's.
[SPEAKER_01]: And also, just like, oh, yeah, I forgot their Mongol horn.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, let's just rip that off.
[SPEAKER_01]: So they can literally shoot accurately and engage accurately at full speeds that you shouldn't be able to do comment.
[SPEAKER_02]: A cool element about all of the primarxes.
[SPEAKER_02]: They're also tinkers.
[SPEAKER_02]: Every primarke has certain things that make their legion better at bulk enough.
[SPEAKER_02]: It's seen with fire, I mean, his melt-in, flamers of the best, gillin with collecting taxes.
[SPEAKER_02]: And having the most paper were done.
[SPEAKER_02]: Rogal dorn on adding a second layer of legos, the Lego fortress.
[SPEAKER_02]: Everyone's got their thing.
[SPEAKER_02]: But the White Scarce thing is going fast.
[SPEAKER_02]: So what no one in the outside of the White Scarce knows is the White Scarce ships are actually a little quicker and more accurate than every other ship.
[SPEAKER_02]: So as the Alpha Legion is coming in, they just decide, let's kick on our super hyperdrive and watch this and just blast right through the Legion.
[SPEAKER_02]: They don't even fight them.
[SPEAKER_02]: They just do that.
[SPEAKER_02]: They just go like, yeah, we're gonna go right through that.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you thought there was a blockade.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, whatever.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, we're now on the other side of that blockade.
[SPEAKER_02]: Those ships are between.
[SPEAKER_01]: We're going to leave now guys.
[SPEAKER_01]: So if you were wondering about where we're taking off to, it's, it's, we're gone.
[SPEAKER_02]: But the interesting thing here is that as Brad was talking about it without with the alpha legions, we don't know what's inside there on.
[SPEAKER_02]: The alpha legions let this happen.
[SPEAKER_02]: They do sound through this thing and go in the alpha legions.
[SPEAKER_01]: You think you're going to attack them at any time?
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, alpha legions.
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, they got away.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, see you never know what's going on with that.
[SPEAKER_01]: And as usual, because primaries are supremely powerful, unbelievably intelligent, the most powerful beings in the galaxy,
[SPEAKER_01]: And they make more mistakes than in after school special.
[SPEAKER_02]: So instead of going to earth, con just rolls out to talk to magnets, because con just decides for whatever reason that I'm just confused.
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know what's going on.
[SPEAKER_02]: So I'm going to go call my best friend.
[SPEAKER_02]: And they were, they were best friends.
[SPEAKER_02]: So every, every primar cat of buddy, some of them had more than one, some had less than one.
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm sure we may miss on the hit any friends.
[SPEAKER_02]: I think he had no friends and Conrad, but there was no chance.
[SPEAKER_02]: There was no one wanted to be friends with Conrad and leaving wouldn't be friends with anybody.
[SPEAKER_02]: So it's kind of the inverse of the two.
[SPEAKER_02]: But anyway, kind of sides he wants to go see Magnus.
[SPEAKER_02]: So he decides to shoot over to Prospero, which doesn't exist.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, he doesn't realize it doesn't exist and that's his kind of awkward.
[SPEAKER_02]: So he gets to Prospero.
[SPEAKER_02]: And so now we're going to dive into the white scar of story.
[SPEAKER_02]: This is another really kind of cool story.
[SPEAKER_02]: Please take the story in the way I like to take this in is as Forty K players were looking back in history knowing how the game is played today.
[SPEAKER_02]: Imagine being
[SPEAKER_02]: And these guys, it just like we were home with Sanguine's earlier.
[SPEAKER_02]: You don't know chaos exists.
[SPEAKER_02]: You don't know this corruption exists.
[SPEAKER_02]: The world, your entire experience of problems are alien races and you.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, it also makes no sense because this is, you've been hundreds of years with these guys.
[SPEAKER_01]: And they've been the most loyal.
[SPEAKER_01]: They've had your back in hundreds.
[SPEAKER_01]: If not thousands of battles,
[SPEAKER_01]: So there's no chaos corruption.
[SPEAKER_01]: This is unthinkable that this guy is no longer your brother.
[SPEAKER_01]: Like, what are you talking about?
[SPEAKER_02]: How could he not be like, of course he's there.
[SPEAKER_02]: on arrives at Prospero and it just looks odd.
[SPEAKER_02]: He can't the surface doesn't look right.
[SPEAKER_02]: Everything's wrong.
[SPEAKER_02]: And so they go to try and grab the surface and they can't.
[SPEAKER_02]: They can't communicate down.
[SPEAKER_02]: They can't even get, they can't land the, the atmosphere is, they're basically bouncing off the atmosphere.
[SPEAKER_02]: They can't put draw pods down.
[SPEAKER_02]: So he decides that the best thing to do
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know, Star Trek in the seventies is the teleport down to the plan that you can't see anything into.
[SPEAKER_02]: Just blindly just figure it out.
[SPEAKER_02]: I assume a bunch.
[SPEAKER_02]: I know their armors white, but I assume it's in red shirts with them just for shit.
[SPEAKER_01]: He also takes the every single person that's worthwhile in the command squad.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, so we're all going to go down and they go down to the surface of prosper.
[SPEAKER_02]: He will take a little bit of a left turn and go back to a prior episode about the warrior launches.
[SPEAKER_01]: portrayed in every single legion with word lodges, which actually on the surface are amazing.
[SPEAKER_01]: But they corrupted all of them.
[SPEAKER_02]: Do you know who really loves a good warrior lodge?
[SPEAKER_02]: The Mongols.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: So for a very obvious reason.
[SPEAKER_02]: The warrior launches are quite prevalent throughout the white scars.
[SPEAKER_02]: They are maybe one of the more infiltrated legions, instead of the ones who are unknowing.
[SPEAKER_02]: Obviously, the word bears were really open to these things.
[SPEAKER_02]: But the white scars, just what cool, we have this thing where all of us who are warriors can sit around as warriors and talk with each other.
[SPEAKER_02]: Again, it's equals.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: So they're, it's spread throughout.
[SPEAKER_02]: Problem is,
[SPEAKER_02]: the warrior lodges with even though Khan didn't know about the heresy, the lodges.
[SPEAKER_02]: And so he's because of Khan and his retoon of leopards down with all of the trains.
[SPEAKER_02]: All of these guys are down there.
[SPEAKER_02]: They're down on earth and leaves all the traders up in his fleet sitting in his ships.
[SPEAKER_02]: We're going to get there in a minute, but you can imagine how this is maybe we've now this story could might be about to progress pretty aggressively.
[SPEAKER_02]: Things don't go great.
[SPEAKER_00]: We'll be right back after a quick break.
[SPEAKER_02]: So on the surface, Khan is met with an empty planet.
[SPEAKER_02]: The libraries are gone.
[SPEAKER_02]: There's this hollow buildings.
[SPEAKER_02]: There's nobody there.
[SPEAKER_02]: He's wandering around a vacant world.
[SPEAKER_01]: Which is weird because at the time, this has been actually argued about, which is what is actually there.
[SPEAKER_01]: Because he does get attacked.
[SPEAKER_01]: But what does he get attacked by?
[SPEAKER_01]: Spirits, poltergeist, psychic entities.
[SPEAKER_01]: The problem is is that Prasfero
[SPEAKER_01]: is all in the process of being pushed into the warp.
[SPEAKER_02]: So it is not fully in real space, material space without knowing he's landed almost in the cemetery.
[SPEAKER_02]: And so that's why, and that's it.
[SPEAKER_02]: This is why he couldn't land.

[SPEAKER_02]: So a bunch of these white scars, fleets sit there and ships start appearing around them jumping out of the immaturium and standing around them.

[SPEAKER_02]: Much like with the alpha legion and the white scars earlier.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, they they're just sitting there.

[SPEAKER_02]: And so at this point we're going to end up it's still being transitioned to another legion who has appeared.
[SPEAKER_02]: Now out of nowhere juggernaut just killed a bunch of demons and

[SPEAKER_02]: Well, and in the subterraneanly, there's a whole thing in call where they're fighting the hero of call.
[SPEAKER_02]: They're the hero of us.

[SPEAKER_01]: They have a really bad model for him.
[SPEAKER_02]: But he is terrible.
[SPEAKER_02]: We're going to jump now back to the Imperium.
[SPEAKER_02]: So Malkador realizes that Horace is a real threat.
[SPEAKER_01]: There's also the thing that Malkador might be able to experience time to affect you.
[SPEAKER_02]: We should probably mention real quick as to a quick side of Brad, who's Malkador.
[SPEAKER_01]: The Emperor's best bro and another perpetual and the second most powerful sucker and humanity.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but the big thing is in on this because I actually
[SPEAKER_01]: They've made reference to it a couple times that I think that he actually experiences time differently because he's so connected to the work that he know they never just straight out to make references to it because he is so it's such a powerful cycle.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's kind of like the precog thing where he sees what's going on.
[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
[SPEAKER_01]: So he knows that this battle happened here and then they teleported over and then, you know, again, work travel manipulating time happens before he knows that that's going on even though he's not in that.
[SPEAKER_02]: Throughout the heresy, interesting thing with Malkudor, at least I noticed was Malkudor seems to be the one leading the effort against Horace.
[SPEAKER_02]: We don't really hear the Emperor doing it.
[SPEAKER_02]: It's always Malkudor.
[SPEAKER_01]: He's still doing his project, which is weird.
[SPEAKER_02]: He's got a lot of blinders on earth.
[SPEAKER_02]: Again, we're the overarching theme of the Emperor is the Emperor's selfish to key theme here.
[SPEAKER_01]: I think I heard things are falling apart.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I'm building the addition on the house.
[SPEAKER_01]: Go away.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I'm busy over here.
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know why you guys are bothering me.

[SPEAKER_02]: He would be the world's worst fireman.
[SPEAKER_02]: So Malkador decides that Horus has to die and begin sending assassins after we're getting devastating.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: It turns out sending and let's talk about the assassins for a minute.
[SPEAKER_02]: So there are multiple houses where they call it.
[SPEAKER_02]: It's just having groups of assassins and there are
[SPEAKER_02]: vindicare is there's ever source is co-axis.
[SPEAKER_02]: Each of them have their own specialty either shooting combat deception.
[SPEAKER_02]: They all work and they're saying them that kind of wanted a time after.
[SPEAKER_01]: They are getting rickering.
[SPEAKER_01]: But also, we have to pause on this because it's a big thing that we do need to talk about what Horace is, which no one knows.
[SPEAKER_01]: And even Malcolm or probably doesn't know at this point in time, which Horace is
[SPEAKER_01]: fully starting to be chaos infused at this point.
[SPEAKER_01]: This isn't Horace.
[SPEAKER_01]: This is Horace two point out.
[SPEAKER_02]: You're not trying to kill a human.
[SPEAKER_02]: You're trying to kill a man.
[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I think they're primarx saving humans.
[SPEAKER_02]: You're not trying to even kill a super human.
[SPEAKER_02]: You're trying to sell a superman infused with human.
[SPEAKER_01]: All four chaos gods choosing you up.
[SPEAKER_01]: Because he has made deals with all of them at this point in time.
[SPEAKER_01]: He is pinnacle of Horace at this point in time.
[SPEAKER_02]: So they decide, Malcolm or decides, all right, one assassin time isn't enough.
[SPEAKER_02]: We're going to go throw all of them.
[SPEAKER_02]: We'll grab one from every group.
[SPEAKER_01]: Which is another big deal.
[SPEAKER_01]: There we go.
[SPEAKER_01]: Assassins just don't fail.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: This is, he sent one at a time because why would they, they always kill whatever we send them to get?
[SPEAKER_02]: And it's like even close, by the way, they don't wound Horace.
[SPEAKER_02]: No, they can't hear it.
[SPEAKER_02]: It's like just gone.
[SPEAKER_02]: So they decide to put these assassins together.
[SPEAKER_02]: And one kind of cool footnote on this is the Imperium doesn't acknowledge assassins exist.
[SPEAKER_02]: This is one of these things in the story where like because even the imperium as much as we all like the kind of shit talk them they wanted to be the good guys so the good guys wouldn't use Evil that's evil infused with name it power assassins I mean if you ever want to have a fun story read about ever-saurus assassins and how they make those things super jack
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's like, whoa, okay.
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, the count is actually sorry.
[SPEAKER_02]: The collectus collects the collectus yet.
[SPEAKER_02]: It's just about the worst one.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, nobody.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: Not happy place.

[SPEAKER_01]: They get tortured forever.

[SPEAKER_02]: And so that's what these things are.
[SPEAKER_02]: So they aren't these incredible beings.
[SPEAKER_02]: And they decide to bring six of them together and go kill for us.
[SPEAKER_02]: They've got a planet in mind.
[SPEAKER_02]: They've got a target in mind.
[SPEAKER_02]: They realize that there's a planet that whores liberated for the emperor.
[SPEAKER_02]: called Dagonet.
[SPEAKER_02]: And Dagonet is this really impressive.
[SPEAKER_02]: I guess I would probably put it at where it's critical.
[SPEAKER_02]: It's got manufacturing, it's got everything you're going to need.
[SPEAKER_02]: The issue is that Dagonet went into complete rebellion during the horror's heresy because, but it's another one of those half and half.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, because half of the population, which is the populace love the emperor, but the leadership there were more of them.
[SPEAKER_01]: Horace.
[SPEAKER_01]: Horace corrupted all of the ruling class, but the people are, effectively, they were one of the planets that are already almost worshiping the Empress.
[SPEAKER_01]: God.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: And they love, they love the Empress.
[SPEAKER_02]: So now you've got a full rebellion.
[SPEAKER_02]: It's a, it's a, it's a standard like French Revolution.
[SPEAKER_02]: It's bottom up rebellion coming up.
[SPEAKER_02]: So they realize Horace is going to diagonal.
[SPEAKER_02]: This is their chance.
[SPEAKER_02]: little detour here and do everyone's favorite chaplain arabis arabis during all these assassination attempts towards chorus realizes well why can't I play this game why don't we get missassin and we'll just go kill the emperor with an assassin and he ends up
[SPEAKER_02]: through blind luck or whatever, getting control of a very special assassin called the Black Pariah.
[SPEAKER_02]: The Black Pariah was especially made, collects his assassin, who is an incredible blank.
[SPEAKER_02]: Real quick detour, a blank is someone who not only is immune to psychic powers, but actually absorbs psychic powers.
[SPEAKER_02]: So if you put a blank next to a sorcerer, the sorcerer can't cast.
[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
[SPEAKER_01]: And because they don't exist in the world.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: So it actually draws warp energy in.
[SPEAKER_02]: So you can imagine the power one of these has chaos can't see them.
[SPEAKER_02]: because they don't exist.
[SPEAKER_02]: So they're in same force.
[SPEAKER_02]: And this one was made by mankind to be the most powerful assassin ever.
[SPEAKER_02]: And then falls in the hands of chaos.
[SPEAKER_02]: Who then infuse this blank super assassin with the powers of chaos to make what is effective the most powerful assassin will be right back after a quick break.
[SPEAKER_02]: The assassins eventually make a planet side.
[SPEAKER_02]: They split up to go and track down Horace.
[SPEAKER_02]: The price smokes two of them.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, the price just comes out of nowhere.
[SPEAKER_02]: So now they've got a problem.
[SPEAKER_02]: They've got to kill Horace and they've got to kill this pariah because the one thing about assassins is they also realize this pariah is not their killer assassins.
[SPEAKER_01]: It will after this.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's kind of funny because the vindicare is super psych thinks he shoots horse in the head because horse is giving a speech.
[SPEAKER_01]: However, it's a huge set up because they kind of already knew which they should have known because they already know assassins were on the
[SPEAKER_01]: planet.
[SPEAKER_01]: So the body double horse, it doesn't actually work.
[SPEAKER_02]: And the funny part about this is that the kill horses body double and then horse decides to slaughter the entire planet.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, he was super excited that somebody shot at him, even if it wasn't hand.
[SPEAKER_02]: So at this stage, the assassins have realized that their mission is a failure, and they have no chance of killing porous.
[SPEAKER_01]: Whoa, whoa, nope, you're right, no chance.
[SPEAKER_01]: Absolutely no chance whatsoever.
[SPEAKER_01]: Which is, by the way, one of the books, it's laughable.
[SPEAKER_01]: Horace catches one of the assassins, holds him down like he would your little brother, like basically palms his head and explains to him how pointless it is.
[SPEAKER_01]: Also, that he knew about them,
[SPEAKER_01]: the whole time.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but he just wanted to see what they could do.
[SPEAKER_01]: And of course, at this point, horse is really current to the chaos, and doesn't really care that the assassin killed a bunch of people on his ship.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's just like I kind of want to know your capabilities.
[SPEAKER_02]: Let's see how it works out.
[SPEAKER_02]: So given that, they said, I will plan B. Let's go kill this black pariah before it kills the emperor.
[SPEAKER_02]: So they got said you go after that.
[SPEAKER_02]: This one Brad was successful.
[SPEAKER_02]: It takes one of them sacrificing themselves and then the other one's shooting him.
[SPEAKER_02]: But the vindicate does get him in the end and he is removed.
[SPEAKER_02]: least favorite assassin.
[SPEAKER_02]: Everyone's favorite assassin.
[SPEAKER_02]: Everyone loves a good sniper at home.
[SPEAKER_02]: Does that have a good hammer and bolter episode?
[SPEAKER_02]: So the funny part of this though is that this is where the fall of the word bears within Horace continues.
[SPEAKER_02]: Horace discovers that this black pariah thing exists.
[SPEAKER_02]: It's entire purpose was to kill the emperor.
[SPEAKER_02]: And Brett, what was it, chorus really, really wanted to do?
[SPEAKER_01]: Kill the Emperor.
[SPEAKER_01]: So not his favorite thing.
[SPEAKER_01]: Also, arabas is the biggest douchey of the galaxy.
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know about any other galaxy, but for sure, in the Milky Way, arabas is trashed here.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, he gets a little bit mad at Eribus who explains to him.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I want to go into this.
[SPEAKER_01]: Just a little bit.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Because of the fact that this is about the time, there were bears fall out of favor because of the fact that Horace is still led by the fact that he is the good guy doing bad things to do the right thing, even though he's doing a bunch of bad things, but his overall goal
[SPEAKER_01]: The ends justify any means absolutely, but the word bears
[SPEAKER_01]: But for him, they don't have honor.
[SPEAKER_01]: They're not doing it for the right reasons.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Huge air quotations, by the way.
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, the work from the word bears, the word bears were weirdly, they think they're the puppet master.
[SPEAKER_02]: And Horace is the puppet, Horace thinks he's the puppet master.
[SPEAKER_02]: And everyone else is the puppet.
[SPEAKER_02]: And we're going to cover more in later episodes of like how far this fall between Horace and the word bears get of
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, the workers are probably closer to correct though.
[SPEAKER_01]: Horace, you're going to defeat your father.

[SPEAKER_02]: Again, you talked about earlier, the assassins weren't even like canon for the Imperium.
[SPEAKER_02]: They were secret piece of the Imperium because they felt this type of warfare was wrong.
[SPEAKER_02]: And so when you're then trying to say that the Imperium is wrong and that they're the evil one, then you do their thing, but worse.
[SPEAKER_02]: We were supposed to put the circle back before this moment they have now the black pariah is dead Horace is not so I mean technically they did assassinate something and the black pariah was Didn't want to be the black pariah, which is another thing yeah, yeah, I was literally a
[SPEAKER_01]: I did not explain it on this one.
[SPEAKER_02]: It said, demonic and fused assassin will definitely have to do an episode on how assassins are made because it basically takes all the joy of making a space marine.
[SPEAKER_02]: And as complete as you.
[SPEAKER_02]: Horrific.
[SPEAKER_02]: Horrific.
[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, they're being facetious, but the joy of making a space marine there.
[SPEAKER_02]: This is the asses, the product of making about assassin is borderline chaos.
[SPEAKER_01]: And then the black pariahs, hey, was K.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, we heard you did something that was just awful.
[SPEAKER_01]: And we wanted to add to that.
[SPEAKER_02]: We want in on this.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: We heard it was the worst thing ever.
[SPEAKER_01]: And we were like, hmm, is it though?
[SPEAKER_01]: We can make it just a little bit.

[SPEAKER_02]: So at this point, they come to the realization that the assassinations of Horace are just not going to work.
[SPEAKER_02]: They can't use assassins on it.

[SPEAKER_02]: And the whole, that first story wasn't set up for the second story, because the second story is a lot more funny.
[SPEAKER_02]: When, if you don't succeed at first with all your assassins, know what you do, why don't you send the angriest of your primarcs to go deal with this?
[SPEAKER_02]: with his super special spear.
[SPEAKER_02]: So assassination attempt, Mark II, after attempting to assassinate Horace, they decide with a number of assassins, Malkador gets together with one of Brad's true buddies in life, Lehman spirit animal spirit animal.
[SPEAKER_02]: So what was Lehman's viewpoint of how to handle Horace Brad?
[SPEAKER_02]: Punch now.
[SPEAKER_01]: Sorry, get drunk first.
[SPEAKER_01]: Then watch the drunk punch horse.
[SPEAKER_01]: So, well, I mean, specifically stab horse with said spirit, but that was still the plan.
[SPEAKER_02]: That's still the plan.
[SPEAKER_02]: So they decide at this point.
[SPEAKER_02]: All right.
[SPEAKER_02]: We can't kill horse.
[SPEAKER_02]: What if we just rack him and slow him down?
[SPEAKER_02]: The Lehman sent also to go deal with him.
[SPEAKER_01]: I got the space flows have such an impressive win record and it is all in spite of their terrible.
[SPEAKER_01]: I love the space was by the way.

[SPEAKER_01]: But God damn their tactics are awful.
[SPEAKER_01]: They literally just go, hey, what's your plan?
[SPEAKER_01]: We're going to bomb into the horse's flagship, the ventral series.

[SPEAKER_01]: We're going to do so much damage that Lehman is going to you'll lose wagons in with a couple dudes and just go for it.
[SPEAKER_02]: Did their entire plan was we talked about before they were trying to set up in prior assassination tests.
[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe we can draw him out here and we can do this thing here.
[SPEAKER_02]: Lee and Russ went, oh, I know where Horace's ship is.
[SPEAKER_02]: I'll just warp, jump out of work.
[SPEAKER_02]: Isn't that attack the ship?
[SPEAKER_02]: Me and a bunch of my buddies with no plan of like, how are we going to get out?
[SPEAKER_02]: Door apparently run into the ship fight our way through all of them and then kill Horace and everyone because the problem with Lee and Russ telling this plan is you can't say, hey, dude, that's a stupid plan.
[SPEAKER_01]: because it's worked so many times.
[SPEAKER_01]: His plans are always terrible.
[SPEAKER_01]: They're air guard plans.
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm going to go in and we're going this way.
[SPEAKER_02]: At every moment, all right, go that way, isn't it suicide mission?
[SPEAKER_02]: And so, Lehman goes to his legion, the space holds as the space holds Brad.
[SPEAKER_02]: Hey, a bunch of hey, space holds me.
[SPEAKER_02]: Your prime mark is going to go on a suicide mission.
[SPEAKER_02]: Who wants to come with me?
[SPEAKER_01]: Everybody does.
[SPEAKER_01]: Let's do this.
[SPEAKER_01]: This is going to work for sure.
[SPEAKER_02]: There is no, why are you calling it a suicide mission?
[SPEAKER_02]: This sounds awesome.

[SPEAKER_02]: This is Horace's main fleet, not they didn't trick Horace in the getting himself alone on a planet.

[SPEAKER_02]: He's with his whole fleet.
[SPEAKER_02]: Cool.
[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, so I'm gonna go there.
[SPEAKER_01]: they basically slammed their fleet into the fleet to get him close enough to the ventures and then he just rushed his way through he doesn't even teleport onto the bridge he punches his way
[SPEAKER_02]: through the whole ship, just drives a ship into the other ship, gets out of said ship in the new ship and begins fighting everyone he can find in the ship.
[SPEAKER_02]: Not knowing where Horace is, just going, well, if I just keep killing them, obviously, and everyone.
[SPEAKER_01]: And also, he is like freaked out though, because the whole ship is whackily corrupted.
[SPEAKER_01]: There's like basically tentacles shooting out.
[SPEAKER_01]: There's corrupted
[SPEAKER_02]: The skittar.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, they're there.
[SPEAKER_01]: They're in the ship.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's just, and he, it again, to the people that don't really know about the war.
[SPEAKER_01]: You're like, Hey, man, what the shit is going on right now.
[SPEAKER_02]: But of course, right to the space wolves, their viewpoints.
[SPEAKER_02]: Hey, what the shit is that.
[SPEAKER_02]: Let's see what happens.

[SPEAKER_01]: They fought their way to, and they find out that Horace's brother is heavily corrupted, but that doesn't really do it justice.
[SPEAKER_01]: Horace is infused again with all four chaos gods.
[SPEAKER_01]: He is a chaos monstrosity at this point in time.
[SPEAKER_01]: And he also emanates chaos power.
[SPEAKER_01]: He has a pulsing wave of chaos coming off of him.
[SPEAKER_01]: So Horace Horace has talked to Lehman.
[SPEAKER_01]: Lehman is listens to him.
[SPEAKER_01]: I really think that Lehman only listened to him because he was so like stunned by it.
[SPEAKER_01]: Dude, what is wrong with you?
[SPEAKER_01]: Exactly.
[SPEAKER_01]: What the shit is he has.
[SPEAKER_02]: He's a type of a deputy.
[SPEAKER_02]: Your best friend is walked into your house with a Mike Tyson tattoo on his face.
[SPEAKER_02]: And you're just staring at him and he's like, what's happening here?
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: And then he literally was, he looks like the transformation to a bombination.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
[SPEAKER_01]: Lee from Marvel.
[SPEAKER_01]: You're just like, hey, man, it took me a second to go.
[SPEAKER_01]: What the shit is going on with you.
[SPEAKER_01]: He, he lets and give his whole speech.
[SPEAKER_02]: And then finishes is by going.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I really doesn't even think, yeah, listen to the speech.
[SPEAKER_01]: I really think it took him a second to go, dude, you're super weird right now, because Lehman Ross is not knowing to be the, you know, and screw the novel because they make him out to be clever.
[SPEAKER_01]: Lehman Ross to me, and we'll always be the dude that punches first ask questions like that.
[SPEAKER_02]: That's in that's his legion, their whole purpose is this.
[SPEAKER_01]: And to get him credit, he is never, never, ever, ever going to win.
[SPEAKER_02]: Horace is on all of the he tested positive for yes check oh yeah this is this is a battle and Lehman knew this Lehman knew he couldn't kill Horace Lehman was literally here just a stab Horace and you can take this from two different perspectives you can expect him a clever Lehman where he just he knows if he can wound Horace maybe he can help him in blah blah blah or my viewpoint where he just wanted to stab Horace
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm just going to punch my way through you and he just was like, I'm just going to fight my way through everything and stab.
[SPEAKER_01]: Giving the space with people, props, Lehman Ross did effectively start in the aftermath of the shift.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: And fought to the bridge.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: Beat the shit out of everyone.
[SPEAKER_02]: Every demons corrupted space Marines did not matter.
[SPEAKER_02]: Didn't matter.
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm going through all of you.
[SPEAKER_01]: He was just trying to check how many different things he could kill on his way there.
[SPEAKER_01]: He was on a he had a quest in work or after basically it was like,
[SPEAKER_01]: Like, make sure I kill one of everything doing this.
[SPEAKER_02]: But this point, Horace now is not going to have any more of this.
[SPEAKER_02]: They are fighting.
[SPEAKER_02]: And Horace, some sorry.
[SPEAKER_01]: Gouges.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: So effectively, Gouges, Lehman Russ, while Lehman stabs him with his spear of Russ.
[SPEAKER_02]: The cool thing with spear of Russ is spear of Russ is one of the more powerful.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's an artifact of
[SPEAKER_01]: Holy power.
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't even know what to say.
[SPEAKER_02]: And this suddenly pulls all of the chaos corruption out of Horace and Lehman is looking at his original brother and gives him a chance.
[SPEAKER_01]: However, Horace is already rationalized why he is right.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Now again, I think this goes back to way.
[SPEAKER_01]: We did this two cast ago when Horace has already rationalized all bad behavior, not just because he's casting crap, but everything that he was he already knew.
[SPEAKER_01]: He saw the visions of the future.
[SPEAKER_01]: He knew he had to do terrible, terrible things, but he has already convinced himself.
[SPEAKER_01]: that he is in the right.
[SPEAKER_01]: Then he obviously accepts a bunch of corrupted gifts to make him living in bodymen of chaos, but Horus is already internally already accepted the fact that I am right, I rationalized any literally any behaviors that happened.
[SPEAKER_01]: From now, till I accomplish my goal, anything I do is I am the right person in this argument.
[SPEAKER_02]: Exactly.
[SPEAKER_02]: Horace, when given a chance by Russ to stop his rebellion, says no.
[SPEAKER_01]: And it gives a reason though.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's when Russ and everybody, I mean, the readers know that Horace will never stop because uncorrupted Horace still believes now that he is in the right of this decision to stop the emperor who he now thinks is going to destroy mankind.
[SPEAKER_01]: And he has already convinced and the only person that he needs to convince himself that he is right.
[SPEAKER_01]: And then to give more space with props, he drops the people's elbow.
[SPEAKER_02]: on Lehman oh yeah and a bunch of space wolves who know for sure they are going to get wrecked body blocks just dropping and this is I mean this is one of the coolest stories we talking about because we talk about a lot of how much
[SPEAKER_02]: The Legion members love their prime mark.
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think any of them love their.
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm no one likes the primary.
[SPEAKER_02]: As much as.
[SPEAKER_02]: And so here we are, Horace is about to kill him and Russ Horace is a much, strong.
[SPEAKER_01]: Because he also reduces, but he effectively walks back.
[SPEAKER_02]: and powers back up.
[SPEAKER_02]: And what they do as a result is his, his, because once he basically pulls the spear out, he infuses the chaos, all comes back in.
[SPEAKER_02]: And the, the space wolves just jump on it for lack of it or just lift his body, little body block.
[SPEAKER_02]: They not chorus to the ground with so many bodies while in the case of this whole Lehman Ross back through the ship, fighting this and there are space with their space with just sacrificing themselves so that they're literally doesn't die.
[SPEAKER_01]: They are literally jumping into the woodchipper because maybe the next person that jumps into the woodchipper stalls the woodchipper and they do this.
[SPEAKER_02]: Eventually they do get Lehman back.
[SPEAKER_02]: He's drug back to the ship.
[SPEAKER_02]: He does escape back.
[SPEAKER_02]: Now this sad part of this is between this, Prospero, the Attack by Alpha Legion.
[SPEAKER_02]: The space wolves are pretty jacked up now.
[SPEAKER_02]: They're less than twenty-five percent of their original fight.
[SPEAKER_01]: Also in the escape, they end up going into roll the dice into the warp.
[SPEAKER_01]: They literally set the the course to not here.
[SPEAKER_01]: That is the plug-in course to somewhere that isn't right now here.
[SPEAKER_01]: And then they jump super far away unfortunately.
[SPEAKER_02]: The only advantage out of this is that Horace is actually pretty badly wounded at this stage.
[SPEAKER_01]: He never gets unwinded from this.
[SPEAKER_01]: He carries this.
[SPEAKER_02]: So what happens after this stage is Horace is now severely wounded.
[SPEAKER_02]: And we'll keep this a bit more linear.
[SPEAKER_02]: The challenge is much like what happened
[SPEAKER_02]: No, before Horace now is again, komitosen to dying.
[SPEAKER_02]: So well, what work last time?
[SPEAKER_01]: Let's go talk to the chaos guys.
[SPEAKER_02]: Talk to the chaos gods and again, they throw Horace's soul into the immaterial.
[SPEAKER_01]: This is where chorus becomes less chorus and more just pop it for the casket.
[SPEAKER_02]: He makes it.
[SPEAKER_02]: He has to make a new deal with the chaos guy.
[SPEAKER_01]: The shitty shitty deal.
[SPEAKER_02]: His first deal was the you get a freeze try.
[SPEAKER_02]: If we trial you come on in, Montju work with us.
[SPEAKER_02]: We'll help you a little bit.
[SPEAKER_02]: This one is Horace gave him his soul and his legion.
[SPEAKER_02]: He's up over to the chaos.
[SPEAKER_01]: He's full puppet style on this.
[SPEAKER_01]: This is where Horace becomes not Horace.
[SPEAKER_01]: Up until right now, Horace is still Horace, Horace is still possibly redeemable.
[SPEAKER_01]: Even though Horace has rationalized all of his behavior, he's still Horace.
[SPEAKER_01]: He actually still thinks he is doing
[SPEAKER_01]: the right, I'm gonna do a bunch of bad acts, but I'm still doing the right thing.
[SPEAKER_01]: Once he does this, this is the actual true failing of Horace.
[SPEAKER_01]: Horace finally goes, this is where Horace does wrong.
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, he does wrong.
[SPEAKER_02]: Horace, this point, he gives himself over.
[SPEAKER_02]: Up until his point, Horace felt he had control.
[SPEAKER_02]: Horace believed that he was leading in the chaos gods were as allies.
[SPEAKER_02]: at this stage.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, at this point, he still think that the nine and Ellis, he thinks he's using it.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: And then at this stage, he actually does give himself over to them so that to achieve this, this is the weak moment of Horace.
[SPEAKER_01]: This is where Horace loses control of himself and becomes a puppet of the cascades of the
[SPEAKER_02]: This feels really good point to break right here.
[SPEAKER_02]: So let's recap.
[SPEAKER_02]: So so far, traders have thrust themselves into a spread of attacks over the loyal forces.
[SPEAKER_02]: The loyalists are actually largely winning the skirmishes.
[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, dark angels are doing fine, blood angels are doing pretty well, but they are battered and they are bruised.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I'm going to go back on it.
[SPEAKER_01]: John says this and goes, they're kind of doing well.
[SPEAKER_01]: The problem is they are
[SPEAKER_01]: winning ninety percent of the fights.
[SPEAKER_01]: The ten percent of the fights that they don't win are holy crap slaughter fest stuff.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, when when they lose that they lose bad.
[SPEAKER_01]: Like Kansas losing by a pointer to it went to a judge's decision.
[SPEAKER_01]: When Chaos wins, it is a first round knockout.
[SPEAKER_01]: Everyone's dead.
[SPEAKER_01]: And also, they punch the guy in the corner.
[SPEAKER_02]: If there are no Raven guard right.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm just saying the bunch of guys hang an alley.
[SPEAKER_02]: Hey, remember everyone else?
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
