What does that even mean? I don't know. Is that possible? Who knows? 00:00:34 Speaker 2: Covino and Rich on Fox Sports Radio. I hope you had a great weekend. Is it your favorite president? Say Spurling? 00:00:40 Speaker 1: Say Spurling is my favorite president because he wasn't just a president, he was also a client. Yeah, true, a member. I hope you had a Texans Broncos, Eagles. 00:00:51 Speaker 2: Jets sort of weekend, Wow, Jets, not a good Giants scatabooze ankles sort of weekend at Steelers forty nine ers weekend. Not a tom aspinall poked in the ice sort a weekend. We'd be rocking out. It's a Monday, fun day. Let's go, we go GOP Danny go to the Dodgers game later or what we're seeing here? What is this tickets for eighty or one hundred and fifty dollars? Oh wait, I'm sorry, that's just parking. 00:01:18 Speaker 5: Yeah, I was gonna say, I have the parking money, if you have the ticket money. 00:01:22 Speaker 1: Yeah, that is wild. 00:01:23 Speaker 3: And listen, we've all been there. We've all been to a big concert or an event. But the minute you go to a venue where the parking is like one hundred bucks some more, that's where you lose me. 00:01:35 Speaker 1: Like what, that's insane? No for that lame. 00:01:40 Speaker 2: Mi's that ables as they say, We're gonna talk about Game three. It's a Game three World Series Monday. You got your Monday Night foosball Commanders at the Chiefs plus Last one Standing. It's the game that's sweeping the nation. If you want a chance to win some prizes, write the number down eight seven to seven ninety nine. On Fox, we're gonna talk punishments in football, punishments in life, and so much going on Sports Equinox tonight, and I hope you had a great weekend. 00:02:09 Speaker 3: Rich This weekend was action packed. Sport's Equinox. You're more of a twenty four hour fitness guy. 00:02:13 Speaker 6: I am. 00:02:15 Speaker 2: Got fitness kind of dude. But this weekend was homecoming at a lot of high schools, dances, Halloween parties, last minute Spirit Halloween runs, you had trunk retreats, you had world series about football. 00:02:30 Speaker 3: I don't want to be the guy costco runs. I don't want to be the guy that's talking about it. You know how things are expensive these days. 00:02:36 Speaker 1: I went to Spirit Halloween. I had to get one little thing for my daughter's costcume. It's always the case. You got to go there for fangs and fake blood. Yeah. 00:02:43 Speaker 3: Oh, we forgot some hairspray for you know, pink hair for those I just happen to take a little look around. I'm like, oh, let me see what. Let me see what the cool costumes are. Did you find Ozzie in a bag? The Ozsie in a bad costume? Or Phillies Karen in a bag? When you talk about the pricing again, I don't want to be the guy that's like, can you believe how expensive things are? I saw a ted Lasso costume at Spirit Halloween. This consisted of and you bought it. This consisted of a visor, a fake mustache, a whistle and like a soccer shirt sixty dollars. I'm like, it's just so wild how every adult costume was like sixty or eighty bucks. 00:03:26 Speaker 5: Oh that Spirit company cleans up. 00:03:29 Speaker 1: I ain't paying for that dime. 00:03:31 Speaker 4: I'm with you. 00:03:32 Speaker 2: So make that at home action packed weekend you like our parents. No, you could, though, like just buy a whistle. That's all you need. Really, that's it. So the point was so much going on this weekend, I said, even for my kid, it was like Halloween party, homecoming dance again, Spirit Halloween Run. It's just all over the place and you're trying to keep your eye on the games and everything else. So hope you survived it, and let's have a great week and let's get into something that we call things that made you go, things that make you go, things that make your goal, and it could be everything from the jets one too. Do you believe the prices at Spirit Halloween anything? Whatever the hell made you go this weekend? I'll give you one. 00:04:21 Speaker 3: We did the Trunker treat at the kid's school, and a great idea if you have that at your kids school this week or this coming weekend, if you have the ability to somehow through the Wi Fi and your fancy car or the power in your truck. Have the World Series playing, you're the center of attention. Oh yeah, if you somehow were able to stream the game. If your kids event is this weekend and football's on or something. Honestly, that's where all the dads linger and I saw that big time this weekend. You got to bring your tcl on standby. 00:04:50 Speaker 5: Yeah. 00:04:51 Speaker 1: But Trunker treats are fun. 00:04:52 Speaker 6: They are. 00:04:52 Speaker 1: I used to be that guy that was like, these are stupid. Why don't kids go to door to door anymore? 00:04:56 Speaker 5: What is Trunker treat? 00:04:57 Speaker 2: Well, it's the greatest thing in the world, same thing. It doesn't re place trick or treat. In my mind, it did, but when you have kids, you realize it's just the company's trick or treat. It's an enclosed safe and school parking lot celebration for Halloween where everyone decorates their their car and their trunks and they give away candy. 00:05:17 Speaker 1: But there's a dance party and the DJ and the kids have a great time. So picture hold on. 00:05:21 Speaker 7: Let me ask though, So the whole idea of trick or treat is when you go to the door, you say trick or treat, and then the person answering the door gets to say, and I know they only do this, but it's like, either do a trick or we'll give you a treat. No, but it's the same, like I know, it's a trunk to trunk. It's a it's a phrase. It's it's catchy, like you gonna what it's the trunk. The trunk is where the candy. 00:05:45 Speaker 2: Is, where the kids can have fun and dance and be safe. And the parents get together and walk their kids around. And Rich's wife goes all out decorating her trunk and man, she's got a nice one. But you know, it's just a nice i'd say, not replacement of tricker tree. It's just a company's tricker tree. It's just an added Halloween bonus for the little kids. So with all that going on, I hope you got to enjoy some Hey games, Sam. Picture this a parking lot at the school. Fifty parents volunteer, big circle, right, they got small school. 00:06:20 Speaker 3: They get smoke machines out everyone like someone could you know someone decorated their car with a bunch of skeletons and Blue Jays jerseys with go Dodger signs that was their car. We did a K Pop demon Hunter's thing. Someone else might do, you know, a Marvel Universe thing. So it's all cool things. 00:06:38 Speaker 2: And that's a contest in itself, like whoever does their trunk as elaborate as possible wins a prize. There's probably a costume contest, a little mini parade, and again usually a DJ and a dance party is a fun school event. 00:06:51 Speaker 7: Do people take like their old Ford station wagon and turn it into like the ghost ghost of lustermobile or something. They put fangs on the trunk. It's it's a whole deal. I used to pooh pooh on this, just like him. I'm like, trunk or treat, how freaking lame. And then you have kids and you're like, yeah, this is way more fun, way cooler. And I read a stat this is so discouraging, Sam. One out of five people ignore the door when tricker treats come by. People don't even want to open the door. You know how you you talked about how uh last week? 00:07:22 Speaker 1: In the eighties and nineties, you'd be like, oh, who's there? Now? You hide from your door? Who's that? 00:07:27 Speaker 7: The Humbug family, so Bashi and Man of Scalco talks about that in one of his specialists. Yeah, to me, I walk around my neighborhood and I live in a nice area. Everyone just no one answers the door every like fifth house. It's like get old later. 00:07:40 Speaker 1: They here's the new Milky Way. Sure sank. 00:07:43 Speaker 3: Honestly, it's the worst you gotta find, like special neighborhoods. It's specialized in it, like yo, that neighborhood's known for it. But I think trunk or treating better than trick or treating well besides driving up the hill to the very well off neighborhoods. Yeah, yeah, full size for most of us regular Americans across the country. There was a CBS news headline this morning forget the tricks. Halloween treat prices are spooking Americans for the large bag of candy. We used to spend like ten ninety nine at Target twenty five ninety nine for the large bag. 00:08:14 Speaker 2: Yeah, oh my god, pain that No, that's crazy. So the point is, with all this going on, you know you want to sit back and at least enjoy the games tonight, right, because the weekend was packed. But the other point here and Rich is right, if you have all this going on. You're the guy with the TV. Yeah, you got the most popular setup going on. Yeah, people still want to know what's going on and see some of the highlights as they happen, like yo ya, Immotos still in that, you know, you do want to see some of that as it all goes down. So things that made you go hum this weekend, the prices of Halloween, the fact that scataboos out for the season that made you say, ah, that was cruesome right now, So any of your observations feel free to share. At eight seven, seven ninety nine on Fox, we open it up to you and I'll start it off with a question to you, rich. 00:09:07 Speaker 1: Let's hear it. CJ. 00:09:08 Speaker 2: Stroud had a game three hundred and eighteen yards two tuddies. Was it the Texans just finally getting it together? Do your forty nine ers? Or was their defense just asked like I know, there's injuries all over the place, like how do you as they were asked yesterday, Yeah, the second half the Niners still they lost the ball control battle. I mean it was like I'm pretty sure it was like forty something minutes to nineteen if Vegas had this one, right, Remember we were speculating, like, what does Vegas know that we don't know because we thought the forty nine ers should have this game. 00:09:42 Speaker 1: There was a minute they didn't. There was a minute where just looking at the score. 00:09:46 Speaker 3: That's why I always say, like, just looking at the score, you don't really get a feel for the game. There was a time where the Niners were down by a touchdown, and they were not down by a touchdown, they might as well been down by twenty going into the into halftime. Fantasy players may have seen George Kittle catch a touchdown before that drive. With like fifty seconds left, the Texans had fourteen first downs to the forty nine Ers zero. The Texans had two hundred and fifty three total yards as an offense. The Niners had thirty. There was a point where you're like, what is going on? And Kyle Shanahan at halftime said everything they did wasn't working and the minute they got one good play was called back a penalty here there, but they were lost in the sauce. 00:10:29 Speaker 1: And Texans were running the clock too. By the time that game. 00:10:32 Speaker 3: There was a point where that was a touchdown game in the third and you're like, can the Niners somehow be in this game, and then the Texans took over again. dB, you were I'm sure you were watching that game that was not as close as it even looked. 00:10:43 Speaker 6: Forty nine ers at the ball for five minutes in the first half there, five minutes. 00:10:48 Speaker 3: You know why because every time it wasn't like first and ten, oh, fifteen yard pass, it was first and ten second and seven third and four first down, first and ten second and six. They we got fourteen first downs in the first half and the Niners had the ball. 00:11:04 Speaker 1: Like you said, five minutes you do with that? 00:11:06 Speaker 6: It was crazy, Like I looked at the stats and I'm like, wait a second here, and sure enough I even wrote it down on my notes. It was a five minute first half maybe give or take him even have been less than five minutes, to be honest with you. But it's also a match up there where you have Damiko Ryans who knows what San Francisco does, so you have knowledge on both staffs. So maybe it just wasn't meant to be for the forty nine ers. And Vegas was right, you know, yeah, they know something. 00:11:30 Speaker 1: Well, they play the Niners that is five and three. 00:11:33 Speaker 3: Now they play the Giants neck next week without Molik neighbors and without Cam Scattaboo Scataboo, and he got a scataboo Boocataboo. The one thing that was heartwarming out of this terrible Scataboo injury because now again just another exciting star. You could name twenty stars of the NFL that are out this year, Like long term, it's really discouraging, from Joe Burrow to Nick Bosa to Scataboo. Lamar's not back yet like this we're really talking about it. It's like the most banged w year I've ever seen in NFL history. But I did see a really heartwarming story. 00:12:08 Speaker 1: Could you know? 00:12:09 Speaker 4: Did it? 00:12:09 Speaker 3: Did it warm your heart when you saw Philadelphia and New York have a moment when Big Dom, you know, the Bacher Gloup security guy for the Eagles, he brought Camp Scattabo a cheese steak? 00:12:23 Speaker 1: Is that story true? Dan Byer, did I hear that? 00:12:26 Speaker 6: Yeah, pizza and cheese steak. 00:12:28 Speaker 1: No, I thought it was pizza and cheese cake. I may have misspoken. 00:12:31 Speaker 7: I mean they're Philly, I would think cheese steak, but maybe right, I don't know, but either are good either way. 00:12:38 Speaker 1: They're cut from that same cloth, So it makes sense, like big dumbs like he's a giant, but he's one of us. 00:12:43 Speaker 2: Yeah, and you never want to see a dude go out like that, regardless of your alliance. So the forty nine ers fell short. Vegas knew it all along, should have took that bet. Texans dominated the forty nine ers. And speaking of did you notice this? And I believe Scott Hansen said it, but I did notice it myself. There was no close games really at all, except for that Jets Bengals game thirty nine thirty eight. There was no close games, so rich if you were busy trunk or treatment, you didn't really miss much. If you if you kept an eye on the phone, on your app or whatever, there was no close games that would be really excited about. There's always fun seeing your team win. But for me, competive, For me, there was a. 00:13:30 Speaker 3: Heck of a lot of NFL network recaps and me watching like big plays on Sunday ticket. I didn't get to watch a lot of live football, just busy family stuff. And I feel like it was the one week if I was going to be busy. You're right, I don't feel like I missed the heck of the scores, none of them were close. 00:13:46 Speaker 5: Just how about they kept cutting the highlights of the Dolphins scoring. The Dolphins offense exploded out of nowhere, and then their defense came ready to play. That was a little surprising because of the struggles they've been going through. 00:13:57 Speaker 1: That was true. 00:13:57 Speaker 2: And man, you know, it's funny when your wife or girlfriend who don't follow as closely ask you questions. They're like, Kirk Cousins is playing again. You're like, yeah, like what happened? I'm like, that's a whole story. But it's so weird because he gets in there and you think that he's gonna have a shot against the Dolphins and then nothing. I feel so bad about his even though he's getting paid, you get it right, I'm not that ye. You've seen the breakdown of how much money he's made his career for. You know how many big wins. Kurt's such a weird story because you do think he's gonna come in there and play big. But no, you're right, Danny the Dolphins thirty four to ten over the Falcons. You know, Dan Byer and I he's a rich Davis guy, right, d B Still still yeah, no, No, Dan, he's kind of milking it a little bit. That doesn't annoy you, This annoys me still time. 00:14:41 Speaker 3: You know, we talk uniforms quite a bit, and a lot of people saying what putrid uniforms The Steelers broke out last night for a primetime Sunday night game, right, not the Charlie Browns. Those those Charlie Browns. They looked weak. But I don't want to talk about that. There are sometimes uniforms a team breaks out and you wonder, why are we wasting our time with what we got? 00:15:02 Speaker 1: Let's go back to this. 00:15:03 Speaker 3: Does anyone not think the Broncos uniform needs to go back to the orange jerseys? As I watch a highlight on the TV, now, you don't think that orange and lighter blue helmet, like isn't a time they say? 00:15:16 Speaker 1: Yeah, that's clearly the best uniform the Broncos ever had. 00:15:18 Speaker 6: Yes, and if you want to go back and on your Super Bowl championships, then you bring the other one back maybe for a one off. 00:15:26 Speaker 1: Late nineties l Way Trail Davis, I sent you that amazing story. That's uniforms. 00:15:33 Speaker 2: They did say that it was part of the nineties shift where it went from bright colors to sort of a darker vibe. Nike actually designed that that dark blue alway late always jersey, Yeah, so they sort of took responsibility for changing it. 00:15:48 Speaker 3: Every jersey went dark and even like the Eagles went away from the Kelly green to a darker green. Everything went a little more hardcore and some every team. 00:15:58 Speaker 6: Royal blue went to their navy said two different shades of blue. The same thing the Titans when they ended up transitioning from the Oilers to the Titans, there was a Navy brought in. Everything was was navy black or a dark green if you will. 00:16:13 Speaker 3: I know, styles change, but when you're just watching football and you don't need to be an old head to be like bring back the old Broncos, I really do think that that blue and orange much like like like you said, the Kelly green, you can say there's a subliminal swoosh in that in the panic Broncos people. Anyway, just an observation I make is while everyone's focusing on how ask the Steelers uniforms look like. 00:16:38 Speaker 5: They look like bumble bees with seat belts on, it's. 00:16:41 Speaker 1: Hard to like take that serious test, dummy. 00:16:43 Speaker 2: I don't know. Well, let's also point out the fact that the Steelers were in it until they weren't. 00:16:48 Speaker 6: Right. 00:16:48 Speaker 2: It's like, all right, man, Aaron Rodgers is gonna be the fourth quarterback ever to beat all the teams in the NFL, and he has to beat his former pack It was ty of a sudden. 00:16:59 Speaker 1: Jordan Love turns it on. It's like, oh what happened here? 00:17:02 Speaker 3: It was tight because I remember explaining to my kids for the first time a two point conversion because when the when the Green Bay Packers scored, they went ahead of the Steelers and they went for two to make it a field goal game, and then it was just that was all. After that, it was all sort of Packers And I do think their all white uniform is a cool alternate one if we're gonna talk uniforms. Yeah, but Tom Brady before the game was saying, like, make no question about it, because he's one of the four quarterbacks, right that have beat all the teams in the league. Yeah, he goes Aaron Rodgers is going all out tonight to beat his former team and make history. He's putting everything out there on the line. So he's telling the story of how bad Aaron Rodgers secretly wants this and there's no question, no secret in my opinion that he wants to win. And it seems like it all fell apart right before our eyes. But props to Jordan Love. Got to give pops where they're due. But you know he's burning inside. 00:17:54 Speaker 1: Dare I say. 00:17:57 Speaker 3: Aaron Rodgers for being a future Hall of Famer and a guy that you know, he's a veteran. The guy's like he's an old guy in the league. I'm gonna compare it to something is trivial, is like grown men's rex sports. He like, you know, even as a grown up, to not show up your teammates. You could be playing rec basketball and your buddy misses a throws up an air ball. You could be playing softball and your buddy misjudges a fly ball and drops a routine play. You learned in little league not to have your body language put your teammate in a spot where they look like an ass. Don't feel like Aaron Rodgers is the worst at body language when his player has a bad read, or drops a pass, or runs a route slightly wrong. 00:18:37 Speaker 1: Like there's a few times I thought it and he was gesturing to the officials. 00:18:42 Speaker 3: Yeah, but but there are times that his body language to me just feels like he's reprimanding his team at all times, like come on, lineman, you missed that block. Come on, receiver, your route wasn't tight enough this way. Like he just comes across like condescending, where if I was on his team, I'd be like, yo, suck at Rogers. 00:19:00 Speaker 1: Do you not see this? Yeah, he's like, you let me down. Yeah, there's something about it. 00:19:04 Speaker 2: Yeah, that happens because the dynamic is so different. You know, he's old enough to be there, parent, that's why. And it is noticeable shrugs. Five times I thought that he was saying to the officials, like how could you not call that? How's that not a penalty? But he's so animated. You're right, it's noticeable. So any observations you made Steelers, they're Charlie Brown jerseys. 00:19:26 Speaker 3: You're right, that was distracting. I'll give you an observation like that one the fight game getting poked in the eye. He's like so gross to me, and it's a really terrible way for a big fight to end. But you can't expect I mean, how do you expect something to go on when someone he said he was knuckled, knuckled deep O, that's what she said. 00:19:45 Speaker 1: In the eye socket. 00:19:47 Speaker 3: Imagine getting someone poke in their finger in your eye socket and nothing climactic. 00:19:51 Speaker 2: I'll tell you that. It's a heavyweight bounce UFC three twenty one. Everyone's there, fired up, and it ends with a three stooges move. Why I think, certainly right, you got to throw up that karate chop to block the poke in the eye. 00:20:06 Speaker 1: And you see the frustration in everybody. 00:20:09 Speaker 2: Aspinall gone, no contest, right, all this build up, nothing, and then Dana White is frustrated because he's trying to put on a show, put on an event. Millions of people are tuned in, and you're like, that's it so weak, it's such a letdown. They even ask him, they say, what's the difference between an unintentional I poke and an intentional eyebol? He's say, I don't know. Beats the hell out of me, cause what do you do? What do you do in that situation? It's a no contest. The fight couldn't go on. Aspinall's getting his eye fixed. I checked and everything, and now the question is, you know, do they run it back? Can Aspinall ever fight at John Jones. Will it ever happened? No, probably not, but very anti climactic, especially if you were waiting for this fight for weeks or months and had people over that ended in a no contest. So, speaking of fights, there was a news alert that broke right before our show. It's a rumor, but it's a solid rumor and involves two legends that might be fighting on Netflix. And we'll tell you about it because it made me say, okay, we'll figure that out and x plus more observations from the NFL Baseball World Series NBA is man surprisingly interesting as we are into the first week. So all that and more coming up right here could be known Rich Rich is Agon bark at the Moon. 00:21:33 Speaker 1: Bark at the Moon. 00:21:35 Speaker 2: By the way, lots of people Ozzy Osbourne for Halloween this year because well he's a legend and he passed away, so very popular costume, along with Phillies Karen and Brewers Karen and k Pop Demon Hunters and hey, whatever you're gonna be. Our rule is usually this be the best version of that, because if you're the weak Ozzi week Phillies Karen, it's like you suck the worst and don't be six seven, because nothing screams you're the lamest parent ever. 00:22:05 Speaker 1: However, yeah, did you say that? 00:22:06 Speaker 3: If you are six and your significant others a seven, maybe it becomes so lame the kids stops saying it. 00:22:13 Speaker 4: Whatever. 00:22:13 Speaker 5: That's what the meme says. Says parents, if you all do this for your Halloween costume and the scourge. 00:22:20 Speaker 1: That's true when the parents get to it. It's over right. 00:22:23 Speaker 3: Number one rule though, But listen to what Covio said. I want to add a little part to it. If someone has to ask you, hey, what are you it's a weak ass costome, then you failed. 00:22:31 Speaker 1: You you failed. No one should have to ask you. 00:22:34 Speaker 5: What you Wantatch the rule with tattoos also, and somebody has to ask you what is that tattoo? 00:22:38 Speaker 1: Then you fail. 00:22:39 Speaker 2: And sometimes it's too creative for its own good, right, like too obscure? Like yeah, great costume, but who the hell is that? So again failed failure. Broadcasting live from the Fox Sports Radio Studio. Remember if you miss any of today's show, catch the podcast. We still got to play last ones standing giveaway prizes. But we get to your phone calls now at eight seven, seven ninety nine on Fox your takeaways from this weekend. It could be NBA related, Basketball related, could be everything related. In fact, tonight is a sports equinox. 00:23:36 Speaker 5: Oh yeah, I got four major sports with games going on. So the question is what are you gonna have on the big screen. 00:23:44 Speaker 3: That's another that's another interesting one. Does the NFL win the ratings battle tonight? Just because it's the NFL or World Series Game three with a big market like Los Angeles and whole tider behind the Blue Jays. The Blue Jay has got some you know, as the me tea goes, people are rooting for the Dodgers. It's a little bip in Southern California. The rest of the country go Blue Jays. So that's an interesting one. 00:24:08 Speaker 2: You're seeing great baseball, though, Man, you're seeing why both of those teams are in the World Series my. 00:24:13 Speaker 3: Guests, believe it or not. Though NFL still wins tonight. I think it's gould be close, but yeah, probably NFL still wins. I think a big takeaway from this weekend is that it's only a matter of time. Are you there yet or not? Do you believe in the Indianapolis cults? Well, I think because they're not seeing teams separate. They're not beating teams. Could you know they should beat They're whooping teams they should be and they're seven to one. 00:24:35 Speaker 5: So I'm scoring forty points in every game. 00:24:39 Speaker 1: Yo, Kowa. 00:24:39 Speaker 2: The two Horsey teams, the Broncos and the Colts. You got the six and two Broncos and the Colts. 00:24:44 Speaker 1: Are seven and one now horse teams? Yeah? 00:24:47 Speaker 2: Are they the best teams in the league. It's looking that way. I dare I look at the schedule? 00:24:54 Speaker 1: Did you know? I love some schedule watching? I was saying, man, as still look at the schedule game watching. What happened to Booty watching? Davis? 00:25:06 Speaker 2: Oh? 00:25:06 Speaker 4: I love it? 00:25:07 Speaker 1: In the early two thousands. 00:25:08 Speaker 3: Yeah, itself watching h If you look at the Cult schedule, that's seven and one. They whooped the Dolphins. They beat the Broncos by one. You remember that game that Broncos the field goal that wasn't and then the next one they made. So that plays very big right now, we said it would that. That's the difference between which one's a one or two lost team, right a one point game. 00:25:30 Speaker 1: They whooped the Titans. They lost to the Rams. That was a battle. 00:25:34 Speaker 3: Matthew Stafford, good game. They whooped the Raiders, they whooped the Cardinals, they whooped the Chargers, and they whooped the Titans. Indiana Jones is looking like a g let's look ahead. They're playing at Pittsburgh. That should be interesting. The Falcons go to Berlin. 00:25:52 Speaker 1: That's a. 00:25:54 Speaker 3: Game overseas Jeminy. The real test comes on November twenty third. It's almost a month away. It's that that's how far away it is. But mark this down because I feel like if they have any chance to move this game to more prime time, they would Colts at Chiefs. If the Colts go into Arrowhead and beat Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid, who couldn't have then believe they're real. 00:26:24 Speaker 2: It's just because they're the cults and it's Daniel Jones. That's the only reason you're not buying into the hype. And because they can't buy surprise. 00:26:30 Speaker 3: And over the last couple of years they had coaching blunders, they had have a young coach. And by the way, Dan Patrick posed an interesting question like who do you believe in more out of the Broncos or the Colts. 00:26:41 Speaker 2: Keep in mind, the Colts beat the Broncos. But because the Broncos seem more legit and they have a veteran coach and they have a you know, a quarterback that you do buy into, you might be leaning Broncos there. But don't sleep on the Colts. 00:26:53 Speaker 5: Don't forget to give props to a healthy Jonathan Taylor. He already has ten touchdowns. 00:26:59 Speaker 1: Dude, serious, seven to one. What more do they have to do to convince you? 00:27:03 Speaker 3: A lot of kids probably have that Jonathan Taylor poster, the same way Cavino had a Jonathan Taylor Thomas poster. 00:27:09 Speaker 1: I still have it, but yeah, no, I mean the Colts. 00:27:12 Speaker 3: If you were to say in the AFC right now, if it were a playoff scenario and the Colts had home field. You know, someone had to go to Indianapolis. Do you believe in Buffalo or the Chiefs or the Broncoes? Dan Byer, let me ask you, I mean, your a guy that watches as close as anyone. Do you believe the Colts could compete with any of those teams? 00:27:33 Speaker 1: Right now? 00:27:34 Speaker 5: Absolutely? 00:27:35 Speaker 6: Yes, I do. And we forget for as close as that Broncos game should have been in the penalty, the Colts only lost is to the Rams on the ad and I Mitchell fumble at the goal line and then also the holding call. Iowa Sam was at that game. He was there in person, so was Danny g. They saw this and that's the only blemish on the Colts record. So we could be talking about eight to o at this point. 00:27:59 Speaker 3: Oh wait, a minut's the game he'll be questioning. Remember it'll lead in the game. Remember when Joe Montennas like, is that John Candy in the stands? Is that the one with Daniel Joneses? 00:28:06 Speaker 7: Like? 00:28:06 Speaker 1: Is that Ioa Sam? Yes? 00:28:09 Speaker 2: Why is he watching the Raiders game on his phone? Isn't this a good enough game to watch? There's a legend that's why they lost. 00:28:15 Speaker 1: Yeah. 00:28:15 Speaker 6: Wow, so you know, here, here's something about that Chiefs game because I looked. I looked ahead as well. It probably won't be flexed because the Chiefs have to play the next week at Dallas on Thanksgiving. So if you were to flex it to a Sunday night, that's even more of a quicker turnaround to go on the road and then travel and play on Thursday. 00:28:40 Speaker 3: Yeah, you're telling someone play the latest window on a Sunday and then you you're playing on Thanksgiving. 00:28:45 Speaker 6: Yes, yes, and in an earlier start on Thanksgiving than you would a normal like Thursday night game, even though it's a couple of hours. 00:28:51 Speaker 3: There's some of your early jim NANTZ Tony Romo ten AM West Coast early slot main game of the week that you know they'll highlight that, but I can't imagine that not being a big time. 00:29:00 Speaker 1: Yeah game and test to see where we're at in the a f C. 00:29:03 Speaker 5: Yeah, absolutely. 00:29:04 Speaker 2: And before we go to Dan Byer for his update, I promised you i'd tell you about a fight. Of course you FC three twenty one was this weekend and it was sort of a letdown. Dana White very upset. I saw Dern one in the woman's strawweight fight. But when it came to aspinall gone, what was the way? And you sent me with the girls ass cheeks? 00:29:24 Speaker 1: That was it? 00:29:24 Speaker 5: That was it. 00:29:25 Speaker 2: That was a jan Jan d Roba versus Dern. Watch that's Mackenzie Dern with the booty. By the way, also got the victory. But when it came to aspinall gone again no contest and everyone's like, ah, but as of today listen to this so far from me, I have this listed as a the fight I never asked for and wasn't sure I cared about. But there's two legendary fighters in talks with Netflix, and it's not Jake Paul and Tank Davis. That goes down November fourteenth, Mayweather versus Manny pac Man Pochiw currently in talks with Netflix, and it would be a legitimate fight, and honestly, people are really excited about it. Like real boxing officionados are like, oh, no way, Mayweather's coming out of retirement, putting his o at risk. He's fifty and oh and my first instinct is like, who gives a Diddley squat? 00:30:29 Speaker 1: These guys are way past their prime. Fight how about a decade ago and that was too late. 00:30:34 Speaker 2: I felt like, am I the only one that doesn't care about this, because it seems like everyone else is like yo, I'll take it two legends. It's an equal fight because they're both old and you hear Roger Clemens is gonna be pitching the Barry bonds next week. Well, but it is sort of a push like age doesn't matter here because they're both sort of old and past their prime. Even though Pochio fought for a reason, that doesn't matter if they're both past their prime. That's the question. I don't know, but people seem to be excited about it. But it's a legitimate rumor and there's legitimate marketing money involved with Mayweather Pakio. So when there's that much money involved, the chances of it happening are legit. And that's according to every news outlet. And like I said, Netflix is involved in this one. Is the only intrigue that Mayweather still has that Oh yeah, and you know they had a competitive fight, but again past Pakio's prime the first time, let alone this time. Well, so that's in fight news that made me say hmmm, But it is as of today. 00:31:28 Speaker 5: Covid says in talks. So yeah, yeah, do you think the whole time they'll just talk about the weather and their grandkids? 00:31:34 Speaker 3: Yeah, I think frank kids. All well, hey, let's go to dB for an update, Dan Bayer, what is doing with That's. 00:31:40 Speaker 6: The test balloon to see how people react to it, and then if they have your reaction. 00:31:45 Speaker 1: Maybe I won't do it. I'm a fight fan, don't watch any fight, but personally I don't care about that. I really don't. 00:31:50 Speaker 2: But the casual numb Skull was like, yeah, because they have name recognition. 00:31:56 Speaker 5: Yeah, absolutely, we know the name. 00:31:58 Speaker 6: Carson Wentz, the Vikings quarterback, is going to miss the rest of the season, placed on injured reserve today and he will have surgery on his injured left shoulder. We saw Wentz wincing a bunch in that loss to the Chargers on Thursday. The NFL network is saying that in their Week five game in Ireland that the excuse me in London. So it was the Week five game in London when they were taking on the Browns, Carson Wentz suffered a dislocation of that shoulder that torres labrum and fractured the socket. That's according to the NFL Network. So He then was able to play a couple more games after that, but shutting him down. Carson Wentz done for the year four in Minnesota. Yeah yeah, Carson Wentz Yeah. Very good. Week eight Commanders in Chiefs Tonight eight fifteen Eastern Tom Washington without Jayden Daniels for that game as Marcus Mariota gets the start. Another quarterbacking news. Panthers quarterback Bryce Young is a chance to practice on Wednesday, as he missed yesterday's game against the Bills because of his high ankle sprain. Bills defensive tackle ed Oliver out in definitely with a torn biceps, while Bengals quarterback Joe Flacco day to day with his shoulder injury suffered against the Jets and that loss yesterday. Ramswad receiver Pooka Nakou expected to play Sunday against the Saints, returning from a foot injury. Giants running back Camp Scattaboo had successful surgery last night on his dislocated right ankle. He's being discharged from the hospital today. Timberlops card Anthony Edward's gonna miss the next week of action because of a hamstring strain, and tonight it's game three of the World Series. Blue Jays and Dodgers coverage on Fox starts at seven o'clock Eastern Time. Series tied up at one apiece, Max Scherzer against Tyler Glasnow the Dodgers. Mookie Bets named the twenty twenty five or Berto Clemente Award winner. Guys, back to you, there you go, Thank you, dB. Mookie Betts. What a good dude. 00:33:39 Speaker 1: Huh, great dude. My son's great. My son wants me to call him Benny Betts when he plays baseball. You know, Mookie Bets. Honestly, Danny, you guys. 00:33:49 Speaker 3: I know everyone talks about shoe Hey and Freddy, but Mookie Bets just seems like such a good dude for baseball. And hey, tonight, who's going to be the star that steps up a Game three? I can't wait for that one. So we'll talk some more baseball, more things, a mide you go, and we'll play game give away some prizes. A lot of fun still coming up on this show, Cavino and Rich. But Benny Benny Bits. 00:34:14 Speaker 1: Calling Benny Bets dad all right, Bell, I. 00:34:17 Speaker 2: Call him Captain Underpants because every time I see Rich's kidd, he has no clothes on my. 00:34:21 Speaker 3: Kid can't be the only one, right, Anyone else have a son that head walk around as bey. 00:34:26 Speaker 1: In the bits Benny Bennie, Benny. 00:34:30 Speaker 2: Bennie Covino and Rich on Fox Sports Radio, It's time for our ti Iraq Play of the day. 00:34:37 Speaker 1: Iraq. The Jets use some trickery, trickery, trick or treat to seal their first win of the season. 00:34:45 Speaker 4: Two minutes to go in the fourth quarter, First and Gold Jets at the four yard line of Cincinnati. They need a touchdown to take the lead, down by six. I formation and now Ruckert motion's right, the lone setback for saw toss sweep to the right. 00:35:02 Speaker 5: Braceall, he's gonna throw the ball. 00:35:04 Speaker 1: Pump Swans crows back in the end zone. 00:35:06 Speaker 4: Let's caught Lason Taylor the option pass right by brace Hall for a touchdown and the Jets are a point after. 00:35:15 Speaker 1: Away from the league. 00:35:16 Speaker 4: Wow. 00:35:18 Speaker 1: Hey, big win, but more disappointing for the Bengals. 00:35:23 Speaker 2: That was just been good for the Jets. Aren't you a Maris Bengals? How do you lose that? 00:35:28 Speaker 7: That play was risky like that, Dan, I heard you and carry breaking it down. But that play did not look like it should have worked because the way he like grenaded it to Mason Taylor awful decision. 00:35:37 Speaker 6: To throw the football he pump faked as you heard in the highlight, and then actually throw it. It reminded me of Week one forty nine ers brock Purty throws that one. 00:35:44 Speaker 3: Oh, it should have been picked and it somehow finds its way into Pungus's hands. 00:35:49 Speaker 5: Yes, remind me of that. 00:35:51 Speaker 2: That's courtesy of Q one O four to three Jets Radio Network, our tire rack play of the day. You don't think of Q and O four three as classic rock? 00:36:15 Speaker 1: Of course I do. I used to call them up. It was the only radio station I ever called. You called, can you play some Alison Chains please? Hello, Jim Kerr, Hey, I'm calling can you play some tool? I really like that sober song. 00:36:28 Speaker 2: It was the only station I think I ever called because it's a little nerve wracking, except for this show. In fact, we welcome it and we get you involved as we wrap up things that made you go hm Week eight all right, eight seven, seven ninety nine on Fox. Speaking of the Jets, it was a pretty terrible loss, but a big win for them, and they celebrated like it was their super Bowl. I get it they're pumped, but I mean it was one win. You sell me like that, do you? 00:36:54 Speaker 1: I guess, I don't know. 00:36:55 Speaker 2: Celebrabe a relief. Speaking of the Jets and Ed got some last night. I got us saying I want to say rest in peace. Nick Manngold, Oh what a terrible story. And I've been forty one years old. I've only heard like tremendous things about whatever was. Yeah, terrible, terrible story forty one. Even Rex Ryan was in tears talking about it. 00:37:18 Speaker 5: It was to watching Rex Ryan. 00:37:19 Speaker 3: It was. 00:37:20 Speaker 2: We even heard from Mark Sanchez saying that he was like a brother to him. So a big loss in the NFL. We have to acknowledge that. As far as things that make you go hmm, and oh, I have a baseball observation, Rich As we get ready for game three tonight. 00:37:37 Speaker 1: What you got, buddy? 00:37:38 Speaker 2: Did you notice this over the weekend? I didn't notice it until they replayed the highlight. I don't think it happened live on TV. It happened on camera where in the postgame when Addison Barger hit that grand slam. All right, big puppy, Hey, Dedik, Dedik, welcome Madison, Barbara, Addison. 00:37:59 Speaker 1: You my dog, my dog. I give you this stupid T shirt. Oh, I could be here, I co be here, big poppy, Big poppy. Did you see? He gave Addison Barger the T shirt and he denied it, and that made me say whom? 00:38:13 Speaker 2: And I think the reasoning was like, I'm on the Blue Jays, I'm not accepting your stupid I'm a red sock. 00:38:19 Speaker 1: You're my dog T shirt? 00:38:21 Speaker 4: Right? 00:38:21 Speaker 2: So? 00:38:22 Speaker 1: I think he so respectfully he. 00:38:23 Speaker 2: Was like, hey, I'm not I don't want your Red Sox luck or Red Sox vibe in my Blue Jays world right now? 00:38:29 Speaker 1: Thanks? But no thanks? 00:38:30 Speaker 2: Right So he denied it. And then the next day your guy, Will Smith, Hey, hey, I think you should take this. Hey Dedick, Hey, Dedick, here's my dog. He's my dog, Will Smith. I want you to have my T shirt. Yeah, and I think you shall take it because last night he went oh for four after he didn't take my shirt, so he got denied and then he gave it to your boy, Danny G and your boy, as far as I know, accepted the shirt. We'll see what happens moving forward. But dude, would you accept that shirt from Big Poppy? Big Poppy's a champion, he's a guy with good luck. Well that's what made me go home, Like, even if you don't want it, as a gesture and just to be respectful, would you accept it? Because Barger did not, and I thought that was kind of wid The guy that hit the I understood the guy that hit the Grand Slam for Toronto. Yeah, Barger, did you see that? 00:39:19 Speaker 3: Before the game, someone from MLB Network randomly said, I know he's not in the starting lineup, but you know who's gonna get the big hit of the game. 00:39:26 Speaker 2: It was Dan Plea Sack and then police Sacks called it. He's like, yeah, he's gonna come up in a big spot. Everyone's like yeah, but he's not even in the light, but he goes yeah. He called it like exactly how it went down. It was amazing. 00:39:37 Speaker 3: So hey, we got more observations from the weekend NFL baseball fights, all next Cavino retch and surprises hang tight.
