and this is a show where I take some of the best classic,
ultimate major defining moments from the Major Wrestling Figure pod cast rich five year history,
and I put it together in a neat package for new and old Major
marks to enjoy. I should say that I make it. I put it

What you're gonna learn all about in this episode of the Rewind because this week
we got the rest of the Darren Rovel interview as well as the not even
the rest because it was such a jam packed episode. But you're gonna hear
the boys making their Twitch debut, and this week they got some huge weekly
purchases, Purchase weekly purchases, as well as some special surprise guests including Always
Angry or Fox and the incomparable all Ego Ethan page. This is a fun
listen, man, that episode is so jampacked. Almost three hours on,
I had it condensed. I had to keep it going because twitches all the
rage now. So get ready relax, kip up your feet, or get

and I and Mark we were doing something earlier the day, the day of
your interview, and Brian's like, oh, by the way, you guys
want to like do an interview at like two o'clock. I'm like, dude,
I have to go to the gym and stuff, so no, I
can't, like you just it was a spur of the moment thing. However,
however, I finished early. I finished early, and I texted and
called repeat during the interview for me to come on, and they did not
let me in. Well, you texted the wrong Mark Facebook thing. That's
why I like pretty sure you said no to like go eat a sandwich,
because it was like it was like twenty minutes, no workout, I had
to go to the gym. No, we can't, guys, this is
just oh yeah, I think Brian was he was nervous that we would bond
more than you guys have bonded, because you know, we both work hard.
We both edit blogs. We both know a lot about production. Right,
set, look at your set, my set, Look at everyone set,
Look at Brian set. I got a light on, that's right.
I got more figure stuff than Brian has. I don't have a shirt on.
I'm living at the bare minimum gimmick here, that's that's all good the
wild he's got a hat that's covering his eyes too, which is not right.
And earlier today he did a professional shoot in his toy room with a
perfect background and it was just too much. Man, it just exhausted me.
My butt was tired. I was done. All right, let's go

it's coming to Pro Wrestling Tease any day. So they will be able to
put in for sales soon. So this would be a perfect item to bring
to the holiday toy drive and signed all four. That's a that's a great
idea. Yeah, it's a really good We're kind of not exactly sure how
many are for sale. Maybe it's two hundred. I don't even know really
because we've been going back and forth. It's between one and fifty and two.
I think like I said, the first ever naked wrestling figure, folks,
what did iconic night when that happened? A conic moment and we've turned
it into this character and that was going to have a figure with his kid
walking through the room. I'm sure I'm relaxed. Did I tell us when
Swagging I did Alaska together those two shows last month. I'm looking at Merchant
and I'm like, bro, we make stuff for you. You don't sell
any of your major pods. And he goes, I'm naked and all of
it. People come up to meet me, our little kids that can't be
selling these naked on myself. I'mine exclusive see you. So I have so
the night that's happened with Swaggle where he was naked upstairs in my apartment.
Not my apartment, my house. I just move to my new house.
I later find the pictures of naked with the internet title there is a video
now took that's right, that's when I fell in loved im, like if

weekly purchases. It was a weird week. Sometimes, I'm sure this happens
to all of us. You order something and then maybe you know, gets
the layed in the mail or whatever, and then the package shows up.
You're like, what is this? Like once a day, So it happened
to me today. It happened to me today. And the package was from
Europe, the Netherlands to be specific, and it's from the the If you're
a Wrestling Figs message board old school member, you know of the legend of
stom Rat not stop in Paradise, but stop ye. And he's been he's
been out of the game. He's been trying to slowly sell his stuff.
And there's something that for some reason was on my save search list, and
it was an item that I couldn't find. First of all, when I
showed to you, you say, like, why do you even want this?
But it was an item that he was selling in a large lot of
things. So just to get this item. I had to buy this whole
large lot of this stuff. And what I had to buy was the entire
WWE stack Down collection. What so the stack down like you do that the
stackdown are like fake legos? Right? Yes, but I got this because
it's Hogan and Macho. You know what I'm saying. It's very hard to
buy entire When I when I say the entire setup, I didn't maybe not
the entire set. I don't know enough about these, but it was like,
you know, isn't there like a ziggler where he's like a drug dealer
and like a motorcycle or so that one I didn't get in here, so
maybe I did get them all. I got five or six. I had
to get this. Uh, the Hogan and Macho man, it's just one
of those weird things that and I collect. Weird Hogan and Macho merched out
everything. But this one was really cool, and like I said, it
came with a bunch of things. I'm not even like it had like the
Wyatt family or like a Daniel Bryant thing. I'm not gonna show all those,
but this one is funny. This one I will show. This one
is the stack Down of the Rhodes Brothers. Now this, this, this
two pac if you Will got me blocked on Twitter from Cody because at the
because at the time, this is when he was doing Star Dust. He
we know, Cody's an absolute pro and everything he does right, and he
was so invested that he refused to admit to even to me that Stardust was
Cody. He refused to even admit it to me. But I said,
Cody, look, it says the Rhodes Brothers on there, and I tweeted
it and he blocked me on Twitter for that. Oh my god. So
so I will be sending this to him because is he's kind of been asking
me to find his figures and I've been setting him stup and I don't even
know if he's displaying it. But I know for a fact he doesn't have
this, at least I don't think so, because I didn't get it for
him. So again, bro, yeah, well I think I think he's
acknowledged now that he was Stardust. But at the time, you know,
k Fae was still alive, you know, so he legitimately blocked me because
I posted this when it came out and said, see you are Stardust.
It's true. It's it's proof, it's proof foreign error, packaging error.
So the company who made this the bridge, I guess. So these are
just like fake Legos. So I do think if the real Lego company made
WW it would be a hit. Yeahs coming together? Yeah, reason bros.
Did you pick up Rocky Johnson? I did? You must not be
watching our twitch because on the soft launch I axed him. I saw that
I watched it, so I got them right here. Oh cool, Yeah,
I gret them too from Ringside Collectibles. Uh. Pretty cool. I
mean it's so bare bones and basic, but it's still great. You know
how sometimes I complain about things. This is like a so Mac Cardona can
play and I know it's listen to this, but hear me out. Okay,
So we have said and we started something called rude Gate when they package
I don't know if you know about this, Uh Rick Rude. They they
shipped him with his robom and the material from the robe stained the skin underneath,
and we we dubbed it rude Gate, and we we we we brought
to Metel's attention, and to their credit, they fixed it. So they
started shipping Rick Rude and and figures after that with the robes and stuff on
the side, and that's how this Rocky Johnson came. Yes, but my
big was like, ooh, like that not is so perfect, Like how
do I do I unknot that to tie the knot myself. I do kind
of agree with your cyclists, like you need to analyze it. So what
I did was a picture and try to get it is. So what I
did was like a real psycho. I kept it like it was. I
just kind of slipped and slidered them for like ten minutes to get them because
but that was so nice. I didn't want to mess it up. That's
actually kind of you know what I'm saying. And then it was all like
it was all the shovel that I had to like move everything around, but
like this is such a good knot. That's like I do with my daughter
and her barbies. Yeah, oh dude, how hard is it? Barbie
clubs? Why why do they take the clothes off because they have to change
they for two days in a row. Bro, It's a real dad.
Can you do this? Also in that set was finally the long awaited Viking
Raiders. I went and grabbed them. I hate saying their names to this
day, Oh look at you. Mark. I barn Eric, Yeah,
I barn Eric Hanson. And we're never called the worth the wait one.
We said, I think maybe in modern times it might be the most toyata
guys on the roster right now. So to finally get done, and we
came him to a lot of ship because they've been on the roster for over
a year and a half and and and they checked off all of Bill's boxes.
You know, there should be no excuse, but they're unreal. They're
on unreal the way it's like a marvel, like a yeah, the way
they're unbelievable. The tattoos, the armor, the rock and roll hands.
I mean, it's like it's pretty epic trivia. Back. Our last w
W tag team match and our last tag team match together was against the Viking
Raiders, and that was on pay per view. And I'm making my return
to pay per views with all you get the page here also a tribut my
last ww matches against the Viking Raiders. Speaking of ringside, I got something
else now It's something I've already had, but I needed it to. I'll
explain a second. I got a little bit of the bubble the ring side
exclusive, A w exclusive. Now, I got this month ago when it
came out. Of course I opened it, I let it breathe, I
displayed it. But I have all the ae w H Series one mint in
package, so it was only fitting that I get another one of these when
they finally got back in stock. So the tote them up. That's it.
And I don't even know if I'm gonna do like series two and on,
but I have all Series one. You have to you train them.
JF. Well, I mean, are you familiar with my with my rules
for for wrestling for your collecting. No, I was actually looking around my
room and I was gonna ask you if this bothers you. No, No,
No, I don't breathe. No, that's fine. I think that's
great. But my rule for collecting wrestling figures that is is that so we
made our WWE debut in two thousand and seven, so that's when I consider
that we like made it. Right, So if a figure depicts after two
thousand and seven, like, I don't collect it. I don't buy it
because I only do stuff that was before I made it, If that makes
sense. I so like when you were like a fan, right right,
So for instance, so if Mattel makes the WrestleMania twenty twenty taker, I
don't get it. Oh disgusting, but now but if now you know,
we'll talk about it later. They're making like a Undertaker in the Purple with
the mask that comes out in twenty twenty, but the picks ninety six.
Oh I need it. See, I'm like, I'm with that. Yeah.
Julian has a very similar rule because if it's Dwayne Johnson, he collects
it. Right. Are you going to get Rocky Johnson to put on your
oh Rockey Johnson. You didn't see my face when he pulled it out.
Hey. Yeah. So that's why I stopped collecting wrestling toys. Was like,
once it once it became like my job. I was like, I
don't want my hobby to be my work. Sure, yeah, and you
said that. When you said that, I was kind of like, So
that's that's why I that's weird, That's why I kind of I never thought
of it like that. It was. So that's why I cut it off
at two thousand and seven. And sometimes I make exceptions, like, for
instance, they just made a Kofi Kingston uh, and it's called like the
Decade of domination because Mattel has been with WW for ten years, so it's
after two thousand and seven, but it's still considered a throwback and my good
friend. So I kept that. But these aw figures, this breaks all
my rules. But I was just going to have the whole series. I
just thought it was so cool that we have a new company making new figures.
It felt like, you know, the Monday Night Wars are back with
like toy bas versus Jacks. So I had to get these figures. That
had to check them out, so right, So I think I'll keep the
whole first set, but I don't think I'm gonna continue on. And they're
great figures, but that where do I draw the line? Hold on?
Hold on that Cody? That's a Chase? What series is that? Series
one? It's a Chans technically series one? So I have I have the
rings, the belts, and I'll just put those in a nice tote.
You know. Yeah, I guess, but you know Canada doesn't have any
well neither does the United States, So yeah, I guess they're not in
Canada then, because there's no Walmarts dots. Yeah, didn't they go to
Toys r us in Canada. I haven't seen any like I have fans asking
me to pick them up and smuggle them back in. I wouldn't buy them
from damn. Uh what did you pick up this week? Yeah? Say

original interview, they know that you collect Marvel figures, comic book figures,
things like that. Yeah. I think I think the biggest pop will be
from Matt. Actually, I uh, I don't do Star Wars much like
you can probably see like this little section. I didn't even know you.
I didn't know you dabbled Wars. I do very very they released. I
saw in Target a couple of weeks ago. It was from the Cantina at
Disney, So I had to pick the DJ. Yeah J now that I
have that, I saw this Hondo the Falcon Ride, and I was like,
I gotta grab it. Have you done Galaxy's Edge? Oh yeah?
Like fantastic right? Yeah? You need those? Yeah? So I had
to grab these. And my wife won't get hot at me for buying these,
because you know they're for her too, because she experienced the park with
me. So I appreciate what I like. Loophole What were your thoughts on
the Falcon Ride? Like blew my mind. And I was not even the
pilot until I wrote it for like the third time. Then I was like,
oh, this is unreal. I hated it. What I I loved
walking up see the Falcon right, like, oh my god, right,
because it's the scale, it's incredible. I love the cue, I love
the Hondo animatronics. I love the story of the ride. I love before
you go in there and there's the you know, the little chests whatever table
and then you get into the cockpit and it's so great, and it's like
and then the bell rang. It's like I didn't I want it, Like
I prefer Star tours. I just want to sit back and have the craziest
rye experience ever. I don't want like my my trip to be you know,
based on if the pilot is good, you know, the gunner and
my trip was so bad I wanted to puncher in the face. I understand.
I understand that because when I was the pilot, I was up and
down at a three year old left and right right, getting any I'm the
cargo guys, no, So yeah, I understand that for sure. If
you get six of your buddies in there. That's the best, right,
got to do that. Yeah, we'll do a major w pod retreat and
we'll go to Disney Disney. I want to do it so bad. I
just want Brian to go. He would love it. I would make him.
I would like, what do you mean you want to do my audio

offered him the stories. But when we were in France to go to euro
Disney, I would pay for us to go. He turned me down and
went by I went without him, and then you could have went on read

Tokyo Disney and Tokyo Disney c. He didn't want to go. I went
by myself. I went by myself too, because no one would go with
me there. How do you not go? Zero interest pal? I mean

Lily might never go back to Japan. That's a possibility. I mean,
well, well, now that we're talking about Disney, let me let me
segue into another weekly purchase I got and when you before you do that,
when you go to Disney with your daughter, it's going to change your life.

But I don't not want to go with Cardona. Like when I could
sleep in and get a workout and that's it, Like you can do both
anyway to make those things happen. Well that particularly day, no, okay.
So anyway, I always say like I'm on the fence about my funko
pop collection. Am I just gotta cut bait or what? But then they
made it's a sixty fifth anniversary of Disneyland this year, which, of course
Disneyland is not even open right now. It's crazy. But they made these
funko pops depicting some classic ride So I love this Mister Toad's Wild Ride.
So I had to pick this up. This is the sixty five anniversary.
I'm gonna let this baby breathe. So it's like the mister Toad in the
actual ride vehicle. And then this was really a jumbo pop. It's called
it's like he's bigger because he's in the vehicle, looks massive and it's not
like a regular sized pop that figure. No, no, the figure is
but he's got a vehicle, you know of the scales like that. Okay,
right, and then I also got this. This is the the mini
Mouse riding the dumble My god, where'd you get that? Amazon? And
what is that? Like? So this is this is Many riding the Dumbo
the elephant ride. That's cool. So so I don't even know, guys,
I was today's years old when I knew there was When I found out
there was ride figures, I had no idea there was Star Wars ride figures.
That's Mark, you find me. Yeah, there's there's there's haunted mansion,
pops. There's one that's in the ride though. Yeah, yeah I
have that. Of course, of course I can't find it. But I
got those, And uh, I don't know what I'm doing with this funk
your collection because we talk about real estate all the time. I'm maxed out.
I Brian, dude, tote them up. Wait until you get that,
uh that mansion in Massachusetts. I don't designated Mark, right, I
have a designated funkal wall and it is already maxed out. So I don't
know what I'm gonna do. But then I don't wanna. I don't want
to knock get these funk goals because some of them spike up really quick.
Yeah, yeah, you gotta just tote them up. Baby went in doubt
by yeah, I mean foam always real. So whatever, all right,
let me talk, let me rifle through some of these marble legends. Now
is the serious thing everyone trying to turn me on today? We we did
that interview and and you literally said, I mean it's sort of like changed
my my thinking. Oh yeah, I guess I didn't really tell you this
Mark like his life that day. My buddies, my buddies are, My
buddies collect the Hasbro figure and they always they just say like they collect you
know, the Marvel and the Power Rangers and the Gi Joe's now and they
always say like it's it's just so much better than Mattel. Like my one
buddy says, f Mattel all the time, Max Smash Master. It's easier
to find, they're they're cheaper, you don't have to spend a million dollars
on them. The accessories are always better, the figures are always better,
just like praising Hasbro. And I had been thinking about doing like an X
Men collection because I liked X Men like more than wrestling for years and then
but like we said, I think we said somewhere you can't become an X
Men, but you can become a professional wrestler. So that's where the business
goes, right anyway, So your thing when you were like, you know,
I started to collect this stuff because I didn't want my hobby to be
my job. And then I'm like, okay, let's rock and roll.
So literally after that, I just started buying up like all the classic X
Men figures. And I'll say this again Thursday night, eight o'clock, I
will be unboxing forty plus Marvel Legends figures on this Twitch with Max snash Master
and Dan Shepherd. But so real quick, I'll go through a couple that
I got Mark Kolona and your brother's a douchebag, Ross, I got this,
sent me that the Rogue. Now, please, I got I don't
even want these figures, but I wanted to mention this to you guys.
It's Deadpool, two different deadpools. But the build a figure. Okay,
I want sore On Yeakay, he's the guy. Yeah, so he's the
really awesome figure. Now when you build this figure, it's huge, it's
it's humongous, so I'm looking to get this one. For example, this
deadpool it's for the I'm looking to get the build a figure peace right,
But on on eBay it's like fifty something dollars. But I bought the figure
for thirty. So I'm just gonna get even if I sell the figure for
ten in box loose little a little coupons. Uh page. Let's just just
spark the something in my head. As a card guy, if there's an
awesome build a figure like that, you just eat that. You can't.
You can't, you can't. I uh look, whoa. That was not
what I was expecting you to say. Wow, I have to show you
guys then, just so you understand how serious these building figures are. It'll
take me two seconds. This is a visual thing though. All Right.
While he's doing that, I'll just say this real Hardy Heft He said,
what do you look? I'm at a connect I'm at a convention. What
are you looking for? I said, silock, He got me that,
thanks, Hardy Heft party halfed. I d MD him because he posted something
I needed. He ignored me. Yeah, good job. These are the
doubles. Oh my god? Those Yeah, well, I do figure photography,
so I'll just keep them for that. But yeah, okay, that's
smart. He's got like a hidden Instagram nobody know. Yeah yeah, yeah,
so real quick. I did the signing on Sunday. Uh went to
the Holy Yoak Mall to check out Heroes hide Out. It's a it's a
brand new store right by me. You guys went to this store in Pennsylvania.
It's it's in upstate New York or something. Is there? Two?
Now is where it is? Now? No? No, they're expanding.
There's this is the second one and there's gonna be another one. And I
I'm shopping and the guy goes, are you Mark Sterling? I said,
yeah, it's Stash Gordon, who's in the chat right now? Is what's
up? Slash up the screen? Baby, pull Stash up. He says,
uhh yeah. So and here's the thing Spider Man. Uh I'm not
getting for myself. I am like forcing my brother to collect Spider Man on
Christmas. I'm going to give him like an entire set of Spider Man figures
with uh the watch anything you do, literally nothing, he knows nothing anything
I do last thing. So to that for my brother. These are the
on These are the retro figure. That's more like those are technically Marble Legends
as well. Yes, okay, but these are the retro carding, which
is cool. Yeah, but as a Marble Legend collector, they pissed me
off because it changes the box. So like when I'm trying to display the
packaging, I was like, they're release. They're releasing like variants of figures
they've had, but with different paint or different faces. And I prefer the
retro ones, the ones they actually released, but I have the ones in
the packages that I want, So it's like driving me insane. I had
another question for you guys. So I had a signing this past Saturday in
Allentown, Pennsylvania. Shout out to everyone who came to that. It's a
great time. A lot of major marks and it's just a good time.
It's great to meet everybody in person. And you know, Earring Mulligan and
Johnny Cisco and those guys, you know, russell O, Presty Rando is
awesome. But anyway, it was at a collectible store. Dabbled in wrestling.
There's a little of the wrestler. It's mainly superheroes and comic book stuff.
What's the difference between a Marvel Select figure. Those are years prior,
correct, they still they still drop them. So because I saw rack of
those and I saw a giant racket these legends, and I was like,
they go, they go more like to scale of like the character. So
some of them will be like seven inches eight inches nine inches, the packaging
is bigger. You can buy them only at the Disney store or like a
comic book shop like that. They're usually more expensive too, uh and those
I would definitely take out of the package really yeah, yeah, very toy.
Yeah, but you know, I've bit hard, Like I said,
forty plus of these and and actually if you count the ones that I bought
from my brother a yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm an adult. I
have a lot for sale. Before I put them in the Facebook chat,
I'll like side okay, okay, yeah that's good. Yeah. There was
like an eight month period where Hasbro would send me cases, so like they
would send it to Walmart, Toy's arrest and Ethan Page's front door. I'm
not even joking. I would even get the like the two per case.
Oh I got two venoms cool, like Bro, all right, well,
yeah, let's check it out and maybe maybe the major wrestling figure past.
I have to bring my friend I got this week back in Oh yeah,
let's let's see it. So you got it this week? Yes? I
uh so on that one the real problem. And for those that can't see
us, this is a Jake the Snake Tanka Wrestling Buddy nineteen ninety one,
right Roskin. Yeah, so I had my eye on one of these two
weeks ago and I lost an eband and went for almost three hundred dollars.
And what really happened, I know what really happened was our major Wrestling figure
podcast. Buddies are coming out and I'm finally getting the dad moment that I've
been waiting for for three and a half years. I've been like literally every
day, like showing Mackenzie my action figure, like you don't sure, you
don't want to play with that, and it's always like could care less.
But this buddy came and she finally thought it was cool and she like wants
to bring in the car. Like sometimes I'll drop off at school and her
and the buddy are sitting next to each other like in the car seat and
stuff like. So I'm finally getting my dad, yes that I've been trying
to get for literally three and a half years. So maybe itchy for these
buddies that been said, I mean my wife and I were probably engaged,
but like I knew, I wanted all my wrestling buddies back for one day
down the line having kids, and I just envisioned myself, you know,
wrestling in the living room with them. So I bought Warrior, Macho,
Hogan, l D and boss Man all pretty quickly for a decent price back
in the day an event. And now these things are really kind of gone
up already. I didn't have Jake and dBase. Oh so you have these
like towed it up somewhere. Yes, they're actually my mom's attic and your
golden maybe once she was in love with my buddy I was. I called
it right up. I was like, are those in the attic going?
You need to bring them over. So we've been just like slamming around.
And that's what made me as you for Jake because I didn't have them.
That totally makes sense. Now he's probably the most rare and most expensive,
which I didn't know until all this went down. But Boss Men an led
or series two, Yes, and I had this on a save listings.
It popped up and I best offered the guy right away one fifty five,
and I was like, see what happens and he took it and I couldn't
believe it. Now he did give him. Did you give them the pillowcase
treatment? There? He smells, I have this for breeze, like uh,
fabreeze intergent, you know, I put them in the pillowcase. Use
this like athletic sport. It's meant for that, like for for breeze to
turn to this is like, that looks great, that's awesome. My ultimate
worry behind me is all squished up because it's the one to wrestle. I
didn't I used them when I was a kid. But you can still run
it through the wash in the pile at least smell good and the stains will
go, oh, it's it's great. It looks great, but it's squished
because man, I other ones are flat ish, but not like my l
O D are so flat. R l D and Jake are the embossed man
obviously the big ticket ones. Man, they're they're pretty pretty up there if
you're trying to scout these out. But going for I saw Hogan for four
ninety nine in the package. Yeah, actually, oh yeah, Oh,
if you're trying to get these in the box, that's a whole nother forget
about it. Yeah, you're basically looking if the seller's got to have a
lot of pictures, because you're looking for really bad stains. You're looking for
rips and tears and stuff. You know. I almost foun out debas and
then I finally zoomed a picture and there was like a cigarette hole in his
cheek. You know, you're like Cannick just texted me, he said,
not as as the major buddies. It is very soft. Look at Knicky
just sent me some other pictures without the uh, without the can weed the
can. It's accurate. So that's the front and the back. Look at
that the long flowing locks. I mean yeah, So these will be dropping
right before Christmas and we're doing the uh the YouTube video, and now that
I know you have them, Brian, you'll be able to show them and

Okay, another thing I got this week. I got this weird NXT card
that I'm on. I had that short run in NXT with with Joe.
Yeah, it says you now own an authentic event use NXT University of Central
Florida, twenty sixteen canvas Matt Relick. So funny story. This is,
uh the twenty nine out of fifty. I have the one out of one
hundred. I also had one out of fifty, but when I got it,
I accidentally sat on it and literally sat on it, literally sat on
it. Now this one I couldn't for The value to this one is these
cards are a little thicker, you know some of the cars cars are thick
man So like I sat on it and there was a crease in it.
But it was like hypros forever. Oh no way, hypro suck. But
can you play the leave the memories alone Hypro's now. But I kept it
as a placeholder because it was very hard to get out of fifty. So
it's been on my saved listings forever. So it came, uh the twenty
nine. I've been pretty deep into wrestling cards like that. I did not
know you had an NXT brother. Yes, so I have a at a
fifty out of one hundred that might be out of twenty five, might be
a one of one. I have no idea to add that to your collection.

how many signings are posting and people are going. I think people were just
so bored in this pandemic. They're so excited to come out and meet people
no matter what. And we got to sign it coming up and we're going,
oh and I'll give a little stick big here, uh me, Mark
and Swago will be doing an appearance November first at the brand new location in
Battlon, New York. So that's Long Island. It's a little further out,
you know, so different people can get to it. I thought it

the jack on my way to Creative for this week. I was like,
what did I just walk into? He had just purchased a collection and this
guy I dropped it off just boxes and boxes, boxes, and these weren't

twenty something years ago throughout like time, like it was. I opened a
case. I opened it of DTA too, was taking out mint blue blaze.
Well you need that blue blazeer to make accustomed because you're cheating in f
W. I opened, uh a case of Rules of Ring one and a
case Fresh Task that I'm gonna gonna bring to the holiday toy I mean just
like unreal stuff like like case fresh, and he hasn't even really you know,
scratched the surface on it. So get excited about that store and that

might be only time that I'll go to as signing wearing the actual Lawyer Wrestling
game. I negotiated that Mark will be wearing his red from the main event

I'm looking now for uh, the Donatello Michelangelo. It just holds up.
It's just still so eye catching. Right now, I'm looking for them on

didn't have squishy head as a kid, but if you bought it in a

see him in the store, I might get one of the Marty's. I
might get a bit if I see it, I mean, they're they're so
great and and this is like, you know, I was explaining this to
someone earlier, like why we express our love for these lines that like,

So it's so successful that they make more characters for me, A lot

We love Super seven. They're making hour figures. They make turtles, which,
by the way, Mark, have you been getting those turtles? Not
yet anyway, but they I finally bit the bullet on this. Oh yeah,
the Andre the Giant whoa. So I will say this. I'm gonna
do a live on boxing right now because I got this from Amazon and it
shipped in like this too big of a box with all my my dog's treats,
and it crushed and it crushed me the package. This is something.
So there's also an Andre like this. The other Andre isn't quite accurate though,
with like the shorts of the single top, it's a little off.
You know what I'm saying. But this is not the worst thing. So
I'm gonna let this breathe right now, Little Fike sniff, Little Fix sniff.
And then I love this because I guess technically this until the ultimate Andre
comes out. This is the first one with a beer can. Oh it
has its yeah, yeah, So I'm gonna try to pop in his hand
right now. I remember when they like showed these figures years ago toy Fair.

So our Super sevens are coming out very soon, well not very soon,
not in scale that, not very soon at all, right, but

and I think these are super cool, and they make them in so many
other lines. I do personally think it's better to keep these mint on card
because the package is so nice, and without it, these kind of look

ones and I dabbling them. They do look better on the car, and
I was opening them and I was like, because if you can't really do
them, they're they're still stuck in that right. Nineteen Star Wars I appreciate,

didn't want to use like my actual macho man bandana. So they have a
Halloween costume where it has already cut up a shirt and a band dan.
I want to use that, but there's certain things I need to customize,
and one thing I needed was a winged Eagle title. So I went to
Amazon and got the winged Egle from Mattel. But we've talked about before.
Do you know on Amazon they ship them like this, yeah, like like
this, so it's not the Coold Boss. Actually, Brian did he got
the tag team titles, didn't you? Yeah? I think like maybe a
year and a half ago we talked about I got techning titles like that.

go for some of his like street gear. Looks like they've made a mitel
where it's just like like blue jeans, like a brown belt or something like

yeah, you know what I'm saying, if you don't take that reflection pick,
you're a coward. Yeah, I'm saying that. Okay, here we
go, here's the belt. Oh, I do think the uh. I
do like the Mattel belts better than the Jack's Foam because these are like floppy,
like a real title would be you know what I'm saying, like with
a little flop yep. So it's actually pretty cool. I think it's like

it'll fit me, I hope, because I don't want to carry it around
all day, so hopefully it fits me. But and if it gets destroyed,

back on this and this is going to become the junk slab era. So

Every day? What's great? I can't even answer the question when people ask
us because the market is different, literally, like every week it seems you
got eBay sold listings. That's it. I don't care what some price guide
says. So it is. So it is eBay consummated listings and one thirty
point or whatever for buy it now offers. EBA is probably going to fix
that soon. But and when you're talking about figures sometimes or rare cards.
Sometimes it's too far and far between that you really you don't know, I
mean, and then then you tell someone it's between twenty ten and they're like,
come on, man, I'm like, no, no, no,
that's what it is, Like it is, that's what it is. So
the problem with what's going on now is people you have to know when to
take your profits. So I have a target. I had a weird situation
last night, and I don't know if I can ever sell it. I
was really close with Kobe, so I have some ridiculously unique things. But
I do have two signed tickets from his final game, and there's only eighteen
of them according to PSA, and I have two, one of them last
so one of them last night went for forty one thousand. Wow. And
I think that was like a moment in the ticketing game where people are like,
WHOA, this makes sense. There's only eighteen signed ones, like an
awakening, but it's like, how do you know, like to take money
off the table. It's like there are people who think this is going to
go up forever. It's not right right, But I will tell you that
the Sealed Wrestlers is in it's early stages. I don't think we're close.
I don't think cards in general, because I feel like they're behind the eighty
two. Listen, listen the eighty two All Stars. All the big money
is into that, and they've pumped and pumped and pumped. I mean,
like a Hulk sold signed, sold for like a ten sold for like thirty
five thousand or something, and I'm like, I can get Hulk to sign
a ten that I can buy for nine thousand for one hundred, Like that
doesn't make any sense. So there's been a lot of pumping, I think,
And it depends. You always have to look around and say who is
in this market? If it's like the Gary Vees and all his guys,
like you could say the market saturated. You know that everyone you know,
everyone who's who knows of a market is in this. And then I would
always say, know who's in your market? Right? Like I said to
my friend who's very wealthy but has a lot of Luka doncic Prism cards,
I said, you know you're not going to be able to keep those for
long? And he said, why I can hold I got all the money
in the world. I can hold them forever. I go, yeah,
but your problem is that the people who are collecting those are twenty to twenty
five year olds. The more over indexed Luka doncics twenty to twenty five year
olds, and they don't have liquid cash. So as soon as this market
goes down, that's the first thing that they sell and you become subject to
that. Right, you actually have to know. I always tell people,
and sometimes it's a guest, sometimes it's anecdotal stories. You actually have to
know who's collecting what you're collecting. Are easy to think about, right,
right, And because once, for instance, let's say for there, we're
gonna talk wrestling figures. For like instance, this this Hasbro one two three
kid figure. The run was cut short because the company lost his license.
So I'm just gonna make up this number. Earlier this year, it sold
for like eight hundred dollars. Oh my god. So someone's like, oh
I have it, and they put it up. It sells for nine hundred.
Oh I have it. It's els for a thousand, But then so
many people put up at once and the value starts to drop. It's still
not it's not worth that like whatever. It was fifteen hundred for a couple.
And then finally started going down. Yeah, So like some of the
things I'm in, they they're just they're just there, just can't be right.
Like that's that's the thing. Like, you know, if you're into
some markets where there just can't be trying to think of other you know.
I mean, I'm in black history. I love black history stuff. It
is so undervalued. It is so undervalued. I have a poster to go
get on a bus to the I have a dream speech. Oh wow,
wow, that's cool. How many could there be? Right? Right?
Right? Like you know, so it's like it's it's that you know.
So I would say, I would say when you go into those markets,
figure out kind of figure out, you know, how much will come to
light. You know. It seems like there were a bunch of them,
and obviously people go and they go and cash out. I think we're just
living, especially for the wrestling. I think the wrestling fans are just behind
and like in a couple of years, the figures, the cards. I
don't think they'll ever be as hot as basketball and baseball. But it's just
in the past year alone that they do not need to be right. There's
literally like the does AFA have population reports? I don't even know, we
have a hard time believing in AFA. They're not They don't have the reputation.
We don't think that PSA has no of course not so, of course
not. But but what I'm saying is so so so wata the video game
guys, they don't have population reports. But I got I said, my
goal is to get the best NBA JAM in the world. I need it
sealed. I need the best NBA Jam in the world. Why, because
that's the iconic game of my generation. Sure, plus Costco's coming out with
these small arcades, the new kids are gonna want it. So I got
a nine point eight out of ten, which is basically there are no tens.
And my seal was an A plus plus, which is like basically like
sucked to the like who is it could be? Oh yeah? And and
so that I mean, that is something that when I said to them,
I said, how many sealed nbagms could there be? Just tell me off
the record, I'm not going to say anything, although now I'm going to
say it. And they were like, there's probably twenty total, right,
And it's like that's crazy. So on the sealed wrestlers on the hulks,
like there might be two hundred and fifty total Hulk seals. So that's why
it's it doesn't even matter. I mean, like you know, I just
think it's just the total nostalgia play. And I think that it's taking people
longer because first they went to cards, and I think they were around cards
for longer. But when they see people who have wrestling figures in their man
cave, I think it's automatic. Oh my god, this just triggers something,
especially because the majority of people it was such a short period in their
life, like eighty five to eighty eight, eight ninety. I mean,
I think my whole group shifted into cars, and then by ninety two we
were out of cards just because it was junk. So I think there's a
lot of upside in wrestling. It's just it's a it's a wild time because
we start this podcast like two and a half years ago, and we started
there was a podcast just on this. I think, yeah, so like
it's it's like a special like niche of a niche of aniche, like you
know what, love it. I love it. But we've seen the growth
in the past, you know, two and a half years, like where
figures were valued at then to now and in the past six months has been
absolutely mind boggling. And that's why I'm so fascinated to see what the cards
are doing. Or you talk about the iPhone, The iPhone is mind boggling.
Wrestling cards we the first two years of this podcast, but we barely
mentioned them. You know, maybe you know what, we can't get to
an episode without talking about it. You know what I'd also say that's great
about the figures is that there's a natural seal and it's it's very hard to
fake that. So like I submitted a video game to and they said,
Nope, that's not the original HCM seal that was wrapped at a factory or
wrapped at a store. They rejected it. There's not really anyone who's really
good at all disciplines of ceiling. And I think, you know, I
have sealed music and and there's not someone who could evaluate whether the seal is
great on those. I think that that gives wrestling an advantage, right,
like you have, but you can't. What are you gonna what are you
gonna blow plastic around the guy? Right right? What are you gonna do?
Like I'm sure someone would try to fake it, but like it's attached
to the cardboard, like this is the best thing going in that the seal
is natural. First the wrestling figures. I know you probably a lot of
people probably ask you this kind of stuff if it hasn't really hit yet,
what what are some of like that if you're trying to predict uh, you
think like the people that people have like more of a like a better memory
for the Hulk, Hogans and things like that, or the Superstars or I
honestly think it's the first series, first and second series of one, the
ones that when initially you know, when the when the ring came out to
you know, so eighty five, eighty six, eighty seven. I think
those are the ones the mister Fujis Mean, gene Oakerland, Chic, Giant,
Hogan, Snuka, those I think once you're into like the Superstars,
which I think is like the other super So there's another there's a change in
packaging, right that goes to black and like eighty nine, right, those
are those are the hard ones to get their But but what's interesting is I
was out by that, right, so I had no So again, the
first generation of this, the first generation of this is guys like you who
who geek out. You're blowing my mind right now because I know what you're
about to say, and you're absolutely right. You have no connection out of
the curtains. But I see I've done this now in video games R So
the first generation geeks out about certain scarcity. The second generation says, I
just care about what I played right, and so sometimes sometimes there's a miss,
and that's what I'm going for. I'm going for. Well, the
first generation didn't pay attention to this right, So, like I cleaned up,
I was able to buy NBA jams best sealed in the world for twenty
five hundred will the first generation was buying ice climber and games that no one
played for twenty five thousand. I was able to get in there and say,
if nostalgia's the play, I'm going to buy the ten games that I
played that was the most mass played and I'm going to try to get in
there. So I said, right now, I'm taking one one thing I
learned by the way that I think people should if they're going to collect a
nostalgia you buy everything in one day. Explain this. I don't hear that
if you're gonna invest you you're gonna want to talk. It's human nature to
talk right, and it's not fruitful to talk right. Absolutely, if you're
so I invest, I I'm like, and I know not everyone can do
this, but I'm like, listen, I'm gonna invest twenty k in the
video games. I'm gonna do it all in one day. I'm gonna I'm
gonna try to sweep up everything that I would sweep up, and then i'm
gonna then i'm gonna shut it down. I'm gonna get the best stuff,
and then i'm gonna basically I'll talk about it. And I'm fine because I
blab my mouth and sure, you know you can't share your secrets, right,
So I like the idea of getting it out of the way. You're
gonna be paying in the same market. You're not gonna get caught with because
you talked. It's gonna go more crazy, especially you guys. And we've
done that inadvertently many times when we're talking about a particular line that we like,
if we're we're burying. There was one in the like the late nineties,
this line that has to do. They were called stop and you put
like weapons and guns on them, and they're absolute garbage. And because we
would talk about how bad they were, it since has like and we're talking
spike the value like from like five dollars to thirty dollars. We're not talking
big money, but still spike. And it's just like, ooh, maybe,
like if we like something, we should kind of shut our mouths for
a little bit well or just jump in on it. Like wait, the
CW figures for the past twenty years. You can find any of them for
ten bucks a pop. And we talked about them so much, how much
like we love them as a kid. You can't find them for less than
forty fifty bucks now and just the rare ones forget about it, hundreds of
Now. I would say there's one thing that is a barrier to toys and
that is space. People. You know a lot of people say, well,
why are the cards with the jerseys on it worth more than the jerseys
themselves? And it's a handheld thing, right, And you know, once
you get a wrestling toy, you got to like hold it with two hands.
It's hard to store. You got to keep the nice you have to
have storage. And I think toys by its nature are kind of constricted a
little bit in their growth because of the size of what they take up,
and that's always going to be the case. I wanted to buy the ring
sealed for fifteen hundred on eBay. I couldn't do it because I just I
can't have the space and the wife is going to know it. Come over
my house. I have a toy room and an office which has more toys,
and then a garage which is basically a storage unit because it takes up
a way too much reach. About the clean sweep man, Yeah, you
gotta get the packages in the house before she sees. Oh, oh,
it's so great I got That's that's the only reason I got the ring,
not that anyone's going to steal anything in my house, but because I need
to see the guy walking up so I can clear her out to get now
six Now, it's fine when they're small, but like when I got I
got a computer from Houston Command Control NASA from nineteen seventy that's seventy five pounds
and like this big because I thought it was just cool. That was that
was a struggle to uh to get to my office. Now now one one
last question for this has been literally like a light bulb went off when you
were talking about getting the guys that people in nostalgia with because I'm thinking,
not, what's he talking about? Warlord's worth more? But you're right,
because people come in they don't care about Warlord. They want Hogan, they
want Macho Man, they want Piper guys that, like you said, first
generation. By the last chance that you didn't open those guys is even is
even better the chances that you didn't I did open them, right to me,
that makes it even greater. So I guess my question would be this
a lot of this stuff we were we all, you know, we have
We're passionate about certain things. We buy certain things as investments. You clearly
do. Is there anything that you're you're buying right now that like you're buying
for yourself, like for nostalgic reasons or is it everything has like that that
flip at the end of the day. So everything needs to be potentially flippable.
That's that's my whole collection and I and I do it based on an
of verries just because that gives me a natural talking point. So like I
have the I have the ticket to Jesse Owens becoming the fastest man in the
world in front of Hitler the best graded ticket from the nineteen thirty six Olympics.
Like that's like ooh, but I have noted in my collection guide that
on August third, twenty twenty one is the eighty fifth anniversary, So I'll
back into that and that will be my key moment where I could where I
might be able to sell it. Wow, you know, so I have
every you know, I have everything noted, and it's very strategic. This
piece that I bought for one hundred and twenty seven thousand, I have,
I know the week I'm going to sell it two years from now. I
love this. This is like I mean, I bought I bought a I
bought a New York Times signed by the three Apollo eleven astronauts for twenty eight
thousand, and my wife was like, what do you guys, what are
you doing newspaper? And it was a year and a half away from the
fiftieth anniversary. I waited to the fiftieth anniversary. I waited to the week
of and I you know, two and a half times my money in a
year and a half. So like everything is strategic. There's very little that
I would not sell. I probably have one item I would not sell.

that's great. So the one item I would not sell is this. So
that's good because the credential that was around Kobe's neck at the two thousand and
eight Olympics. Oh my god, never sell. I can't ever, I

couple of major rewinds, but I'm back to it. I fixed up my
