<v Speaker 1>This is WWE superstar Drew McIntyre and you're listening to
<v Speaker 1>the WWE podcast.
<v Speaker 2>The show the one that everybody wants me godet for
<v Speaker 2>sixteenth So we Your ass is my arm. You can
<v Speaker 2>acknowledge me.
<v Speaker 3>Hey, guys, welcome to the podcast. It is Tuesday, August fifth,
<v Speaker 3>twenty twenty five. Is Manda that ra has concluded. It
<v Speaker 3>concluded last night and I was in the Barclay Center,
<v Speaker 3>I believe in Brooklyn with pretty big show, especially to
<v Speaker 3>close the show, no brock Lesner. But if you've listened
<v Speaker 3>to me and you've watched brock lesno over the last
<v Speaker 3>fifteen twenty years in WWE, you knew that he's not
<v Speaker 3>going to be the very often very sporad Still, people
<v Speaker 3>are up in arms about WWE and their decision to
<v Speaker 3>bring Brock back. You guys know where I stand on that.
<v Speaker 3>I am fully supportive of WWE bringing Brocklesner back. And hey,
<v Speaker 3>they have a whole legal team that has gone over this,
<v Speaker 3>and if this ends up blowing in their face, you know,
<v Speaker 3>if bronck Leser is indicted and there's a trial or
<v Speaker 3>anything like that, then this is on w's legal team
<v Speaker 3>who have presumably reviewed all the files and the evidence
<v Speaker 3>in the case, and perhaps this is going to arbitration
<v Speaker 3>and it's just going to be a non factor and
<v Speaker 3>that's their prerogative. That said, we now have brock Lesner
<v Speaker 3>back in the company, and I've alluded to last night
<v Speaker 3>if you listen to the Summer Slam review from night too,
<v Speaker 3>I said that there's a lot of matches that WWE
<v Speaker 3>could put together now with Brocklesner back in the fold.
<v Speaker 3>The roster has changed a lot since he was last
<v Speaker 3>in the company a couple of years ago. Fresh new faces,
<v Speaker 3>some returning faces, some that have a lot of history
<v Speaker 3>with brock Lesner with Roman Reigns with ciam Punk and
<v Speaker 3>bron Breaker and Gunther, just to name a few. So
<v Speaker 3>I think we'll get a lot of fun. Obviously, John Cena,
<v Speaker 3>that'll be the first one up before John Cena calls
<v Speaker 3>it quits, and he's going to do that in just
<v Speaker 3>a few months, sadly, as he wraps up his career
<v Speaker 3>in WWE. So I think it's going to be a
<v Speaker 3>fun ride. Despite what you think of Brock and everybody
<v Speaker 3>that says they're not going to watch the WWE again,
<v Speaker 3>and we all know it's just it's performative. We all
<v Speaker 3>know they'll be saying the one thing and doing another.
<v Speaker 3>The thing is, being a wrestling fan doesn't get out
<v Speaker 3>of your blood being a wrestling fan, it just sticks
<v Speaker 3>with you. For most of us, And even if you
<v Speaker 3>leave wrestling, I've talked to so many people that have
<v Speaker 3>left wrestling and they end up coming back. They end
<v Speaker 3>up coming back because it's just it stays in your blood.
<v Speaker 3>So if you don't think a name like Brock Lesner
<v Speaker 3>is going to bring people back, and I mean, then
<v Speaker 3>you don't. You don't understand what star power means for
<v Speaker 3>any organization, for any industry, star power will forever and
<v Speaker 3>always be the driving force for ratings. So certainly Brock
<v Speaker 3>is back. Brock being back on a semi kind of
<v Speaker 3>occasional basis is gonna be a big deal, and when
<v Speaker 3>he shows up, it's gonna be a big deal. But
<v Speaker 3>also positioning Brock, at least on paper as the heel
<v Speaker 3>against John as a John Sena a smart call because
<v Speaker 3>number one, John Cena wasn't gonna get booed against anybody
<v Speaker 3>at this point, because no one's gonna believe any any
<v Speaker 3>heal version of John Sena anymore. And they're just here
<v Speaker 3>to enjoy John Cena and give him, give him our
<v Speaker 3>flowers for the next four months, and then say thank
<v Speaker 3>you when he leaves and we all get all warm
<v Speaker 3>and fuzzy inside. So you might as well just go
<v Speaker 3>at the current and they have. But putting Brock against
<v Speaker 3>him not just because of that reason as a heel,
<v Speaker 3>but also because of the potential blowback of the the
<v Speaker 3>on going litigation where Brock Moser's name is mentioned is
<v Speaker 3>a smart call because if people are gonna boo him
<v Speaker 3>in person, and they're booing him because of that reason,
<v Speaker 3>well then it fits right in with the narrative of
<v Speaker 3>him just being a heel. So I think they should
<v Speaker 3>keep him heal, even though if people want to cheer him,
<v Speaker 3>they'll cheer him, but at least you have the cover
<v Speaker 3>of him being a heel. If people decide to turn, well,
<v Speaker 3>who cares, because he's on paper he is a heel.
<v Speaker 3>So I think that's gonna be fun. And we've got
<v Speaker 3>a lot to talk about, not with SummerSlam, as we've
<v Speaker 3>covered though all the last two episodes with Night one
<v Speaker 3>and Night two, but really Monday Night Raw, that's what
<v Speaker 3>this is for. Then if you want to join us
<v Speaker 3>on the ad free version of things. Ad free version
<v Speaker 3>side of things, you can head out over to Patreon,
<v Speaker 3>patreon dot com slash WWE podcast where you can go
<v Speaker 3>ad free for one dollar a month and benefits go
<v Speaker 3>up from there. All right, so let's start with it,
<v Speaker 3>all right, let's start with Monday Night Raw that emanated,
<v Speaker 3>as I said, from Barclay Center in Brooklyn, New York.
<v Speaker 3>And we have the SummerSlam package of the review of everything,
<v Speaker 3>every big item that happened we had seth come out
<v Speaker 3>with this whole group, and we have a CM Punk
<v Speaker 3>chance and Haim introduced himself. He pointed to the championship
<v Speaker 3>belt and said it's evidence that he's the goat. Haim
<v Speaker 3>had said, he's not just the greatest of all time,
<v Speaker 3>he is your humble oracle. He spoke about being humbled
<v Speaker 3>by being in the presence of bron Breaker and the
<v Speaker 3>travel Chief Reid. Because of Bronson, Reid has taken the
<v Speaker 3>shoes of Roman reigns twice. Now, I guess that's a
<v Speaker 3>sign of disrespect, I've been told. So it reminds me
<v Speaker 3>of remember when Lena Vega would slap her opponent in
<v Speaker 3>the face with the shoe. I guess that's a customary
<v Speaker 3>disrespect in Puerto Rico, which again I'm not from Puerto Rico.
<v Speaker 3>Why would I know this. But a sign of disrespect
<v Speaker 3>is taking someone's shoes? Is that just what culture says
<v Speaker 3>that disrespect? I mean it's illegal. I mean the law
<v Speaker 3>says it's illegal. But I don't know if in America
<v Speaker 3>we decide that it's disrespectful. It's disrespectful in the sense
<v Speaker 3>that it's someone's personal property. But I guess in other
<v Speaker 3>cultures there's a deeper meaning of taking someone's shoes that
<v Speaker 3>I'm not privy to. However, we get Bronson Reid, who's
<v Speaker 3>just after all of Roman Rains's shoes, so we have
<v Speaker 3>let's see. Hayman said that this is the point where
<v Speaker 3>he would introduce Roman reigns, but Hammond said he hasn't
<v Speaker 3>been champion for a year and a half, and he
<v Speaker 3>said he would be introducing CM. Punk is the champion,
<v Speaker 3>but Punk wasn't champion long enough to have side plates
<v Speaker 3>put on the belt. Kind of a good line, and
<v Speaker 3>he said Punk had one of the greatest matches with
<v Speaker 3>Gunther and said Rollins not only crashed the wedding, he
<v Speaker 3>stole the honeymoon with the title, and she was good.
<v Speaker 3>Hayman delivered a big introduction for Rollins as the new
<v Speaker 3>champion and then handed him the mic and uh Rollin said,
<v Speaker 3>shame on you. Shame on everyone who turned their back
<v Speaker 3>on him after he won the main event of WrestleMania.
<v Speaker 3>He said, shame on everybody who taunted him, and said
<v Speaker 3>the lesson is that people should never doubt him again.
<v Speaker 3>He said he's been a marked band for months. He said,
<v Speaker 3>shame and not only on the fans, but every person
<v Speaker 3>in the locker room who made it their mission to
<v Speaker 3>stop him from successfully cashing in his money in the bank.
<v Speaker 3>And said, everybody backstage think they're so smart, and he
<v Speaker 3>said he's always he always has a Plan B, and
<v Speaker 3>this Plan B was top secret. He said. He told
<v Speaker 3>two people in the world, his wife and Paul Hayman.
<v Speaker 3>Rollin said they achieved absolute power and no one can
<v Speaker 3>stop them. This is the way forward, this is the vision. Okay.
<v Speaker 3>So he just I mean, he essentially says, yeah, I
<v Speaker 3>mean by fake my injury and it's Plan B, except
<v Speaker 3>it's the worst kept secret. I mean, he did fool
<v Speaker 3>a lot of people that were still of the belief
<v Speaker 3>that this was work. I was in that camp up
<v Speaker 3>until the like the le last week where I said,
<v Speaker 3>this is just unprecedented that we don't have any kind
<v Speaker 3>of time frame, we've heard nothing. That's a big clue
<v Speaker 3>that they in a big hole. They missed in the
<v Speaker 3>logical step of things when there's a normal, real injury.
<v Speaker 3>So if they want to fool us better next time,
<v Speaker 3>that's the part where they fell down. But yeah, I
<v Speaker 3>mean most people were very skeptical, so to say it
<v Speaker 3>was you know, everyone thinks you're so smart, Well you
<v Speaker 3>didn't really outsmart a lot of people. There was a
<v Speaker 3>large portion of the audience that thought this was a work.
<v Speaker 3>So that said, though it was cool and it was
<v Speaker 3>the most convincing worked injury that I've seen in a
<v Speaker 3>long time. They just had some plot holes, as I said,
<v Speaker 3>that were missing that would have made it ultra convincing.
<v Speaker 3>So anyway, La Night comes out to a really big pop.
<v Speaker 3>That was very encouraged by that pop for La Night,
<v Speaker 3>very very nice reaction from the Rooklyn audience, and he
<v Speaker 3>congratulated Rollins and Paul Hamon and morons, and he said
<v Speaker 3>he wasn't there for a fight. He was there to
<v Speaker 3>get some answers and said that people wondered why Rollins
<v Speaker 3>had a fake an injury when he had the money
<v Speaker 3>in the bank. Briefcase, that was a good point brought
<v Speaker 3>up by Night. He said that Rollins faked the injury
<v Speaker 3>to avoid Knight's threat of taking his dignity. Knight reminded
<v Speaker 3>Rollins he was the last person to beat him. He
<v Speaker 3>said he would be the next person to beat him
<v Speaker 3>and said there was no better place or time and
<v Speaker 3>he wanted to face Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight
<v Speaker 3>Championship right now tonight, and Rolin said no, and that's
<v Speaker 3>when Adam Pierce comes out, and that's when he said
<v Speaker 3>that normally he wouldn't make it a World Championship match
<v Speaker 3>without any promotion. But normally a wrestler wouldn't have his
<v Speaker 3>medical team lie to the WWE medical team, and Pierce said,
<v Speaker 3>to hell with normal. He said Rollins would defend the
<v Speaker 3>championship against La Knight, and since Rollins stole a great
<v Speaker 3>moment from the fans at SummerSlam, it's only appropriate that
<v Speaker 3>he steal something from Rollins. Where Pierce said that Reed,
<v Speaker 3>Read and Breaker were banned from ringside, that was a
<v Speaker 3>nice moment, maybe the best moment Adam Pierce has had,
<v Speaker 3>and I mean that in the sense of a general
<v Speaker 3>manager role, where he just laid down the law and
<v Speaker 3>instead of going ballistic as he does every single week.
<v Speaker 3>I mean, he's got the hottest head of any GM
<v Speaker 3>I've seen. He's constantly screaming and yelling. But he laid
<v Speaker 3>down the law in a way that a babyface or
<v Speaker 3>not even a babyface, just a general manager, a neutral generalman.
<v Speaker 3>General manager, should you know you lied to us, You're
<v Speaker 3>gonna pay the price, period, end of story. And I
<v Speaker 3>really enjoyed that from Adam Pierce. That was a nice
<v Speaker 3>moment for him. So that was good. Now we then
<v Speaker 3>have the backstage segment here with Dom and JD and
<v Speaker 3>Finn and Roxanne and Dom was boasting about beating aj
<v Speaker 3>ST at SummerSlam, and Ron Driguez told Perez they should
<v Speaker 3>do go regroup and Dom Balery McDonough spotted LWO members
<v Speaker 3>Dragon Lee, Joaquin Wild and Cruise Del Toro and Dom
<v Speaker 3>asked what they were doing in his hallway. Lee challenged
<v Speaker 3>Dom to a match and Dom said he was on
<v Speaker 3>aj Styles showed up after the LWO trio left and
<v Speaker 3>Styles said what Dom did with his boot at SummerSlam
<v Speaker 3>was clever and said he was still coming after Dom,
<v Speaker 3>and he said Dom would run out of tricks and
<v Speaker 3>his time was running out. Cool. I mean, I'm fine
<v Speaker 3>with Dom and AJ continuing their program untild AJ eventually
<v Speaker 3>wins the Intercontinental Championship, which is a real possibility. The
<v Speaker 3>next time they meet, which presumably but not confirmed, is
<v Speaker 3>that the Clash in Paris event on August thirty first,
<v Speaker 3>So I think that would be a nice rematch AJ Styles.
<v Speaker 3>It would be a nice kind of not send off
<v Speaker 3>for AJ. He's not retiring yet, but one of the
<v Speaker 3>last remaining runs with any championship for AJ would be
<v Speaker 3>a nice run with the internal title and taking it
<v Speaker 3>from Dom would be no there's no shame in that
<v Speaker 3>Dom's had a nice little run here. So Clash in
<v Speaker 3>Paris would be a very plausible place for AJ to
<v Speaker 3>take the belt from Dom. But also if they want
<v Speaker 3>to keep the belt on Dom, the fans are starting
<v Speaker 3>to love the Edie Guerrero tribute finishes that he's doing,
<v Speaker 3>and I think the fans are just tired of tearing
<v Speaker 3>or booing Dom. So so Seamus and Russev is the
<v Speaker 3>first official match for Monday Night Raw and they fought
<v Speaker 3>to a double count out in ten minutes. And it
<v Speaker 3>happened after we had Russev grab him from behind and
<v Speaker 3>hit him. I'm sorry, Seamus hits the ten beats of
<v Speaker 3>the whatever whatever it's a Bauer bower and I don't
<v Speaker 3>know what the ten beats whatever it is. And then
<v Speaker 3>both men were counted out because they weren't paying attention
<v Speaker 3>to the referee. And after the match, Russev grabbed part
<v Speaker 3>of the ring steps slammed him into the head of Seamus.
<v Speaker 3>Russev grabbed the chalele, but Seamous hit him. Win a bro.
<v Speaker 3>Everybody's trying to pull them apart, and that was a
<v Speaker 3>nice I think, a nice little pull apart. Right again,
<v Speaker 3>I think generally pull aparts have been used too much,
<v Speaker 3>but it's been a hot minute, so I'm fine with
<v Speaker 3>pull apart being used here, that method being used here,
<v Speaker 3>because these two are just brawlers. They're stiff, respectable workers
<v Speaker 3>that have a long history, and I would imagine their
<v Speaker 3>next program is their last, or their next match is
<v Speaker 3>their last, and I don't know what kind of match
<v Speaker 3>it's gonna be. It's gonna be a no holds barred
<v Speaker 3>match at the bare minimum, so a clash in Paris. Again,
<v Speaker 3>presumably you would think that they're gonna go no DQ.
<v Speaker 3>I don't want cage match because cage matches have become
<v Speaker 3>a soft version of just a regular match. I mean,
<v Speaker 3>I'm sorry, cage matches have really softened over the years
<v Speaker 3>because of the stipulations of how you can win. But
<v Speaker 3>I think at the bare minimum, it's that bar minimum.
<v Speaker 3>It's a no holds barred or street fight, however they
<v Speaker 3>want to phrase it, and I'm looking for because these
<v Speaker 3>two it's reigniting something I didn't think i'd want to see,
<v Speaker 3>and I like it. I'd like to hear a little
<v Speaker 3>bit more from russ Up on the mic, though you're
<v Speaker 3>not getting a whole lot of logic or rather reasoning
<v Speaker 3>from him is probably a better way to put it.
<v Speaker 3>It's just they want to fight because they want to fight,
<v Speaker 3>and they have a long history. But I'd like them
<v Speaker 3>to pull on that history. Be nice to see, Hey,
<v Speaker 3>this is what they did ten years ago, remember League
<v Speaker 3>of Nations. And more than that, I mean, they were
<v Speaker 3>I believe tag champions, they were enemies. So that'd be
<v Speaker 3>fun if they could pull on the history, I would
<v Speaker 3>so then footage ared Eve earlier in the day, Kofe
<v Speaker 3>and Xavier wearing ridiculously over the top garb while continuing
<v Speaker 3>to more the loss of their tag team titles. Grayson
<v Speaker 3>Waller showed up and asked where they were the week before.
<v Speaker 3>Kinkson blame Adam Pierce for not giving them what they deserved.
<v Speaker 3>So then we get to the next match here, Penta
<v Speaker 3>versus Grayson Waller. Penta beats Grayson Waller in eight minutes
<v Speaker 3>and twenty seconds after he hit a destroyer, not the
<v Speaker 3>best executed one, but he hit one nonetheless that beat
<v Speaker 3>Grayson Waller for the one two three, And I like
<v Speaker 3>the fact that a destroyer is being used as a finish. It,
<v Speaker 3>like so many other previous finishers, has recently in the
<v Speaker 3>modern era, been redefined as just a transition move, as
<v Speaker 3>kind of like an impact power move that never does
<v Speaker 3>actually finish a match, And now that they're bringing this
<v Speaker 3>back potentially as a finish, it makes sense. It's a
<v Speaker 3>nice looking, devastating maneuver, and yeah, sure it wasn't executed great,
<v Speaker 3>but it's a believable finish and I'm glad that this
<v Speaker 3>was something that happens every once in a while, and
<v Speaker 3>it did here. So after the match, though, Kingston and
<v Speaker 3>Woods entered the ring and they bickered with Penta. Kingston
<v Speaker 3>knelt down to check on Waller. Woods got cocky with Pensa,
<v Speaker 3>who pushed him into Kingston, and then Penta cleared the
<v Speaker 3>duo and puts He put Woods's giant hat on, and
<v Speaker 3>then he threw it frisbee style perfectly into the new
<v Speaker 3>day on the floor. I don't know. I mean, seeing
<v Speaker 3>Pansa with a giant hat was funny. I wouldn't mind
<v Speaker 3>if that suddenly becomes a thing. What I would actually
<v Speaker 3>like to have seen him do, like the salsa with it,
<v Speaker 3>just add a little humor. But seeing him with the
<v Speaker 3>hat was actually funny and somehow fits. So if this
<v Speaker 3>can become a thing, maybe they could. Maybe there is
<v Speaker 3>something there. You never know with weird stuff like this,
<v Speaker 3>what's gonna catch on? But that big hat. If Woods
<v Speaker 3>can bring it back next week and Penta gets a
<v Speaker 3>hold out of it again, they could make this a
<v Speaker 3>little cute thing that see where it goes, you know,
<v Speaker 3>I don't know, maybe it'll it's probably one and done,
<v Speaker 3>but you never know. With weird oddball things like this
<v Speaker 3>that happened. What's gonna catch on? But yeah, so then
<v Speaker 3>had the let's see the Met's match here. Corey, Graves,
<v Speaker 3>and Cole were shown at the table. Cole said Nick
<v Speaker 3>Con and Paul Effect told him they reached out to
<v Speaker 3>Lesner a number of weeks ago and told them told
<v Speaker 3>him they thought it was time for him to come home.
<v Speaker 3>Cole said they told him that Lesner said, quote, let's
<v Speaker 3>do it. Cole hyped John Cena for Friday SmackDown, and
<v Speaker 3>Graves hyped World Championship match for later in the show.
<v Speaker 3>So that's the explanation we got is it's time for
<v Speaker 3>Leslner to come home. And that's going to satisfy absolutely
<v Speaker 3>nobody that doesn't like Lesnar here. I mean, that doesn't
<v Speaker 3>do anything for anyone. So they just say it's time
<v Speaker 3>to come home, and Lesler's like, okay, I want more money.
<v Speaker 3>That's it. By the way, I think Lesner's merch is
<v Speaker 3>the top three selling items on WWE shop. So if
<v Speaker 3>you think if you think the WWE is going to
<v Speaker 3>rescind their decision to bring Brock Lesner back, yeah, you've
<v Speaker 3>got another thing coming. Outside of a bombshe shall unexpected
<v Speaker 3>twist in this lawsuit. That's somehow you know, it completely
<v Speaker 3>indicts brock Lesner in you know, in the in wrongdoing
<v Speaker 3>where he's got legal action to the point of criminal
<v Speaker 3>and or civil. They are not going to touch brock Lessner.
<v Speaker 3>He's a magnet for attention, even if it's negative, and
<v Speaker 3>I think it's a it's a net positive. Ultimately, as
<v Speaker 3>I've said many times, you cannot like the decision from
<v Speaker 3>a personal perspective because he was named in a lawsuit.
<v Speaker 3>But here's the thing. Just being because you're named in
<v Speaker 3>a lawsuit forty four times doesn't automatically make you guilty
<v Speaker 3>of anything. It just means someone mentioned you forty four times.
<v Speaker 3>Last time I checked. That's not illegal. And there's no
<v Speaker 3>criminal or civil case right now against brock So okay,
<v Speaker 3>bring him back, all right? So I know it's hurting
<v Speaker 3>the lit of people's tummies that he's back, but I mean, honestly,
<v Speaker 3>grow up. So we have let's see here, then we
<v Speaker 3>have Oh, Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair come out, and
<v Speaker 3>you deserve it. Champ broke out. Flair said yes, she
<v Speaker 3>said that might be here first, you deserve it chant
<v Speaker 3>and thanked Brooklyn for that and said it felt amazing
<v Speaker 3>to be champion again. Bliss said she thought Flair meant
<v Speaker 3>it was amazing for the two of them to be champions,
<v Speaker 3>and Flair conceded it was nice. And Bliss thought Flair
<v Speaker 3>was about to say the F word friendship. Blair said, Bliss,
<v Speaker 3>say Flair, not Blair. Flair said Bliss, don't know why.
<v Speaker 3>That's such a tongue twister is a pain in her
<v Speaker 3>A word? Okay, so fine, And they got a little
<v Speaker 3>tit for tat. They're not going to call each other friends.
<v Speaker 3>Alexa wants it more than Charlotte little koy with who's
<v Speaker 3>gonna say their friends or not. It's an innocent enough storyline.
<v Speaker 3>It's a lighthearted storyline that Charlotte is in desperate need
<v Speaker 3>of to continue. The fans on their blindness to suddenly
<v Speaker 3>adoring Charlotte or respecting or at least not hating her.
<v Speaker 3>You deserve a chance for Charlotte. When's the last time
<v Speaker 3>that happened? She's exactly right, and from Brooklyn of all places, again,
<v Speaker 3>I'm happy for Charlotte who's finally getting some respect from
<v Speaker 3>the crowd because she's not talking that much now, and
<v Speaker 3>when she does it's lighthearted. It's with Alexa Bliss, who's
<v Speaker 3>very well liked by the fans. She's in a nice
<v Speaker 3>safe spot right now, not in the women's title picture.
<v Speaker 3>I've explained this before in my previous shows, so it's
<v Speaker 3>a nice spot for Charlotte and again and Alexa Bliss,
<v Speaker 3>not that they're going to be champions for very long
<v Speaker 3>because nobody is with the women's saxteam titles. So they
<v Speaker 3>took on Raquel and Roxanne with the women's tag team
<v Speaker 3>titles on the line, and this match went almost thirteen
<v Speaker 3>minutes with Charlotte and Alexa retaining the titles. The finish
<v Speaker 3>was Blair sidestepping Rodriguez. Flair knocked her off the apron
<v Speaker 3>with a big boot. Roxanne sent both champions to the
<v Speaker 3>floor and then set up for a suicide dive, but
<v Speaker 3>Alexa turned it into and cut her off into a
<v Speaker 3>sister Abigail and got the victory. I think this is
<v Speaker 3>a nice run here again for Alexa, who is doing
<v Speaker 3>the most relevant thing she's done since returning to the company,
<v Speaker 3>and as I said, for Charlotte taking a breather, it's
<v Speaker 3>like her career is taking a deep breath, not a pause,
<v Speaker 3>it's taking a deep breath and a much more relaxed story.
<v Speaker 3>That's what I think she needs. You know what, what
<v Speaker 3>else I think she needs? Believe it or not. And
<v Speaker 3>this is something maybe just generally, not specifically for Charlotte,
<v Speaker 3>but where's a love story where there's you know, one
<v Speaker 3>of the male wrestlers chasing one of the female wrestlers,
<v Speaker 3>courtship teasing. Are they gonna get together? Are they not?
<v Speaker 3>It doesn't have to be like an Otis and Mandy
<v Speaker 3>Rose story with Dolph Ziggler spoiling the day on Valentine's Day.
<v Speaker 3>If you remember that a Beauty in the Beast, a
<v Speaker 3>modern day beauty and the Beast. It can just be
<v Speaker 3>you see some flirting, not necessarily nefarious, nothing like with
<v Speaker 3>Dom cheating on RHEO with Live and then Dom potentially
<v Speaker 3>cheating on Live with Roxanne, you know, nothing like that.
<v Speaker 3>It can very much be a just a just a
<v Speaker 3>love story, and it doesn't need to last long, but
<v Speaker 3>it's something they haven't done it in a while, and it's
<v Speaker 3>I think occasionally it's it's fun to see see who
<v Speaker 3>has chemistry, see what happens, see some of the tension
<v Speaker 3>build again. I'm all for wrestling and stuff, but you know,
<v Speaker 3>love stories in pro wrestling is not groundbreaking. It don't
<v Speaker 3>need to be the focal point. It's just a suggestion
<v Speaker 3>that it's been a while. Yeah, just a just a
<v Speaker 3>pure love story where you know, these two wrestlers seem
<v Speaker 3>to be tensioned and seemed to have tension and they
<v Speaker 3>fall for each other and you know, nothing the farious,
<v Speaker 3>no cheating, just a regular love story, all right, I
<v Speaker 3>don't know, just a weird thought. So we then have
<v Speaker 3>EO Sky, who was talking with Oscar and Kyrie saying
<v Speaker 3>when Rhea interrupted and asked for a word with Eo
<v Speaker 3>and Oscar, insane left. And then Rhea said she heard
<v Speaker 3>that Sky went to Adam Pears and asked for a
<v Speaker 3>singles match for the women's world title. Sky said she
<v Speaker 3>didn't get pinned at SummerSlam. Ripley said, there's that There's
<v Speaker 3>nothing she would like more than to finally beat Sky
<v Speaker 3>and take the title from her. Sky stopped her as
<v Speaker 3>Ripley was about to leave and told her that she
<v Speaker 3>would never beat her. So interesting. Leo and Uh and
<v Speaker 3>Ripley with some real tension there, and then we get backstage,
<v Speaker 3>Valkyria catch up with Bailey and told her she didn't
<v Speaker 3>want to hear her excuses. Valkyrias said she screwed things up,
<v Speaker 3>and now for Bailey, and now who screwed things up
<v Speaker 3>for her? Valkyrias said they're not good for one another,
<v Speaker 3>and so they're not friends and told Bailey to stay
<v Speaker 3>out of her life forever. Valcaria is becoming very unlikable,
<v Speaker 3>very quickly. But we then have the fourth match of
<v Speaker 3>the night, Dom versus dragon Ly in a non title match.
<v Speaker 3>Here no inter Continental championship on the line. This match
<v Speaker 3>went eight and a half minutes with Dom beating Dragonly.
<v Speaker 3>Nice to see a champion get a non title victory.
<v Speaker 3>Typically it's a champion in a non title match loses
<v Speaker 3>the match so that ex wrestler can get have a
<v Speaker 3>claim to know the number one contendership since they beat
<v Speaker 3>the champion in a non title match. So it's nice
<v Speaker 3>to see that every once in a while. But the
<v Speaker 3>finish was let's see her, Oh the Americanos. There were
<v Speaker 3>three Grande Americanos in this match, that's right, we had
<v Speaker 3>let's see here. The first grond El Grande Americano ran
<v Speaker 3>out climbed down the apron. The second showed up, Lee
<v Speaker 3>knocked both of them off the apron. A third one
<v Speaker 3>arrived and took a cheap shot at Lee while the
<v Speaker 3>referee was focused on the other two. And then Dom
<v Speaker 3>took his boot off and hit Lee with it, and
<v Speaker 3>the referee turned around and counted the pin counted, counted,
<v Speaker 3>and I countered. And then after the match, Dom set
<v Speaker 3>up to hit Lee with his boot, but Aj comes
<v Speaker 3>out chased him off, and Aj ended up with Dom's
<v Speaker 3>boot and threw it at him. AJ styles shook handled Lee.
<v Speaker 3>I want to say, how, by the way, how is
<v Speaker 3>the boot in your hand using your arm to swing
<v Speaker 3>it less devastating than using your foot to kick somebody
<v Speaker 3>in the chiin for a superkick that doesn't compute. The
<v Speaker 3>math isn't mathing there. The physics don't physic that. That's
<v Speaker 3>not a thing. But you get my drift whatever. It's fine,
<v Speaker 3>it's just fine. My logical brain takes over sometimes. But
<v Speaker 3>it's wrestling. So we have three Grande Americanos. I don't
<v Speaker 3>know where this is leading. I don't even care. I
<v Speaker 3>don't think they know. It doesn't need to lead anywhere.
<v Speaker 3>It's just funny to see. This isn't a major storyline,
<v Speaker 3>it's not a main thread story. It's a little bit
<v Speaker 3>of comic relief. But at the same time, with Chad
<v Speaker 3>Gable being the original Grande Americano, you know that you're
<v Speaker 3>gonna get a quality match Dragonly and you know the
<v Speaker 3>Americanos and and it's all kind of just lighthearted stuff.
<v Speaker 3>I think this is not leading anywhere. I don't know
<v Speaker 3>if there's an actual plan, I highly doubt it, but
<v Speaker 3>it's fun. So Sammy Zain spoke with Jackie Redman backstage
<v Speaker 3>and said his win over Carrying Cross wasn't about proving
<v Speaker 3>him wrong. Zaane recalled having the pipe in his hand
<v Speaker 3>and assumed that cross scarlet and some people would have
<v Speaker 3>liked it if he used it. Zaine said it would
<v Speaker 3>have felt good if he did. He said it's not
<v Speaker 3>about who he is, it's about who he wants to be,
<v Speaker 3>and said he wants to be a world champion and
<v Speaker 3>he will be, but he wants to do it right. Okay,
<v Speaker 3>so the Zane world title story continues. It continues, and
<v Speaker 3>that's fine with me. If the goal is to ultimately
<v Speaker 3>put Sammy's Ain in a position to be world champion.
<v Speaker 3>You know this is going to bleed into nothing. I
<v Speaker 3>think the fans are going to be very disappointed. This
<v Speaker 3>story has been brewing for quite some time. He's always
<v Speaker 3>the bridesmaid, never the bride underdog Underground, you know, the
<v Speaker 3>underdog from the Underground and all the rest of it.
<v Speaker 3>Certainly a story that they can tell here with Sammy's Ain,
<v Speaker 3>I think the fans will get behind it. I do
<v Speaker 3>wonder though, if Kevin Owens, by the time Sammy's Ain
<v Speaker 3>is ready to win the world title, if he has
<v Speaker 3>something to say about it, whether he helps or hurts
<v Speaker 3>Sammy's Ain. We've seen them turn on each other four
<v Speaker 3>hundred times. But I don't I mean, I don't know
<v Speaker 3>what the timing is and how Kevin Owens's recovery is going.
<v Speaker 3>I would imagine we're still a year off from Kevin
<v Speaker 3>Owens coming back, so it's probably the answers.
<v Speaker 1>No.
<v Speaker 3>But if they go to if they go to Summers,
<v Speaker 3>I'm sorry, WrestleMania in April, does that give Kevin Owens
<v Speaker 3>enough time to potentially have something to say here With
<v Speaker 3>Sammy's Ain winning the world title for the first time,
<v Speaker 3>maybe I'd put it in the realm of maybe, so
<v Speaker 3>Seamus and Russ brawled into the area, bumped into Zayn
<v Speaker 3>and that was that. So then we have the interesting
<v Speaker 3>part of the night here that a lot of people
<v Speaker 3>are talking about, with Becky Lynch and Lyra Valkyria in
<v Speaker 3>this promo battle. I'm sorry Becky Lynch, not Lyra and
<v Speaker 3>Nicki Bella. So Becky Lynch comes out with her new
<v Speaker 3>entrance thong song, which is okay, I'm getting used to it.
<v Speaker 3>Gray's praised the song by the Wonder Years and who
<v Speaker 3>are hopefully working on a song here for which is
<v Speaker 3>heal husband. But anyway, Lynch boasted that Lyra won't be
<v Speaker 3>getting additional title shots, and Lynch said it's time to
<v Speaker 3>open the floor to new competitors. And that's when Nikki
<v Speaker 3>Bella's interrupts and said that Lynch is one of the
<v Speaker 3>greatest of all time and it was easy to step
<v Speaker 3>aside because the women's division was in good hands of Lynch,
<v Speaker 3>who thanked her. Yes, yes, Nikki, the entirety of the
<v Speaker 3>women's division, the very integrity of the women's division was
<v Speaker 3>relying on you to step aside. Yes, yes, the weight
<v Speaker 3>of the women's division was on your shoulders. NICKI yes, absolutely,
<v Speaker 3>and when you left there was just a big gaping
<v Speaker 3>hole that we did not know how to fill. I
<v Speaker 3>mean we were lost for years because of the great
<v Speaker 3>Nikki Bella and Brie Bella who left. We did not
<v Speaker 3>know how to cope. But you were gracious enough to
<v Speaker 3>step aside and let others come up and take your
<v Speaker 3>spot as you bravely pave the way. Give me a break.
<v Speaker 3>She is high on her own supply, there's no doubt.
<v Speaker 3>So by the way, somebody said Nikki Bella has a son,
<v Speaker 3>not a daughter, but I thought it was a daughter.
<v Speaker 3>It doesn't really matter to me because I mean my
<v Speaker 3>point about her a couple of weeks ago, saying that
<v Speaker 3>she came back primarily for her. Now, I guess son
<v Speaker 3>whoever her offspring to compete in front of them. I
<v Speaker 3>can absolutely on a human perspective, on a human level,
<v Speaker 3>respect that. But the idea that she carried the women's vision,
<v Speaker 3>or was any kind of trailblazer in the women's vision,
<v Speaker 3>is that it's a joke in what way, I don't know. Okay,
<v Speaker 3>I guess I'm just one of those ignorant men she's
<v Speaker 3>talking about. But Nikki said Lynch turned out to be
<v Speaker 3>such a disappointment and accused her of hand coffing the
<v Speaker 3>next generation. She said, yes, yes, yes, Nikki, Becky Lynch
<v Speaker 3>is a disappointment. You know, the same woman that Co
<v Speaker 3>Mayne evented the first ever women's WrestleMania. She's the first
<v Speaker 3>ever woman's match to main event WrestleMania. She was a
<v Speaker 3>part of that, were you, Nikki?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah?
<v Speaker 3>No, I didn't think so. Yes, the hottest act in
<v Speaker 3>pro wrestling. Just what six seven years ago was Becky Lynch?
<v Speaker 3>Can you even entertain that idea, as Nicki Bella, Yes,
<v Speaker 3>such a disappointment. Yes, Becky Lynch has been such a
<v Speaker 3>disappointment that she's a walk in Hall of Famer, that
<v Speaker 3>people will regard her as one of the best of
<v Speaker 3>all time. That she has had some of the greatest
<v Speaker 3>matches in women's wrestling history in WWE, her matches with
<v Speaker 3>one of them with Ronda Rousey, the heel turn at
<v Speaker 3>SummerSlam twenty seventeen, I think it was twenty seventeen against Charlotte,
<v Speaker 3>the matches he had with Sasha Banks, Yes, all of it. Certainly,
<v Speaker 3>she's such a disappointment. So she asked Lynch if she
<v Speaker 3>came back because she was jealous of watching Valkyria kill
<v Speaker 3>it now that's not it, or because Hollywood isn't what
<v Speaker 3>she thought it would be. And Lynch reminded Nikki about
<v Speaker 3>her role and happy givemore too, And then Lynch were
<v Speaker 3>called Nicki being on the set and then reminded her
<v Speaker 3>of her scenes were cut from the movie, and Nicki
<v Speaker 3>said she's not buying what Lynch says and accused her
<v Speaker 3>of being a liar, just like her husband. And Nicki
<v Speaker 3>said everyone bought Seth's lie, but no one buys Lynch's lies.
<v Speaker 3>And Nicki said, Lynch is some scared little girl. It's
<v Speaker 3>the same scared little girl she was when she entered
<v Speaker 3>the division. Yes, so scared that she's been here, you know,
<v Speaker 3>for the better part of a decade, truly a trailblazer
<v Speaker 3>in the women's division, one of the faces OF's division,
<v Speaker 3>still the face of the women's division again main events
<v Speaker 3>of WrestleMania. The resume goes on, Yes, so scared, she's
<v Speaker 3>so scared and disappointing. Yes, yes, of course this is
<v Speaker 3>so illogical for Nicky. But here's where it gets good.
<v Speaker 3>And everybody is, you know, it's reacting to this, so
<v Speaker 3>Lynch told Nicki not to talk about her hot husband,
<v Speaker 3>and Lynch claimed that she and Rollin's are the greatest
<v Speaker 3>wrestling couple of all time and said that that would
<v Speaker 3>have been Nicky and someone else at one time, but
<v Speaker 3>Nicky can't see him anymore, which was that was a
<v Speaker 3>good line, and the fans popped big, and Nicky smiled
<v Speaker 3>and nodded. I mean it's a great moment. I mean
<v Speaker 3>Nicky got fried there, just as the kids would say,
<v Speaker 3>she got cooked. Lynch said that when she came up,
<v Speaker 3>she did his combat Nicki's era. That's exactly right, That's
<v Speaker 3>exactly right. I mean that in the that is the
<v Speaker 3>essence of what's happening here. That's at the essence of
<v Speaker 3>this rivalry. Lynch represents an era that was fighting against
<v Speaker 3>what Nicki's era represented. Nicki's era represented the sanitized version
<v Speaker 3>of the sexualized attitude era for the women, one that
<v Speaker 3>was coveted with two minute matches still and butterfly championships.
<v Speaker 3>Lynch was one of the true faces of the change
<v Speaker 3>towards respecting women's wrestling. Lynch represents what women's wrestling should be.
<v Speaker 3>Nicki represents a division that wrestling should never again, be
<v Speaker 3>for the women. That's the big difference here. Nicki is
<v Speaker 3>still a face of that division. And yes, maybe Lynch
<v Speaker 3>should have also said, you know, speaking of little girls,
<v Speaker 3>how old are you, Nicki and you still come out
<v Speaker 3>here and do your stripper pole dance? I'm sorry, who's
<v Speaker 3>the young girl who that still wears a backwards hat?
<v Speaker 3>I'm sorry? Remind me again, m can you tell I
<v Speaker 3>don't like Nicki Bella? I know I'm hiding it a
<v Speaker 3>little bit. I'm being a little bit facetious. It should
<v Speaker 3>probably be a little more open about how I feel. So,
<v Speaker 3>Nicki said Lynch was afraid to face her during her era,
<v Speaker 3>then challenged her to a title match, and Nicki led
<v Speaker 3>the crowd in a yes chant. Okay, Lynch, you know
<v Speaker 3>what's sad. Nicki has to like prompt the fans to
<v Speaker 3>do and cheer things, say things for her, you know
<v Speaker 3>what I mean, Like she has to look to the
<v Speaker 3>crowd for a reaction instead of the crowd just reacting
<v Speaker 3>organically like, oh, oh, you need us to do something, gotcha,
<v Speaker 3>We'll do it. It's sad. But Nicki led the crowd
<v Speaker 3>again in a yes chan, and Lynch said she and
<v Speaker 3>Nicki never went one on one and she suck her
<v Speaker 3>punched Nikki, which was funny. That was a true sucker punch.
<v Speaker 3>It was good, all right. So Naomi was backstage. She
<v Speaker 3>warned everyone that she would leave somewhere with SummerSlam with
<v Speaker 3>the title and said she would defend her title against
<v Speaker 3>EO Unraw next week. We all know that's not gonna
<v Speaker 3>go anywhere, which is fine. Naomi should have the title
<v Speaker 3>for the next like you know, five months, all right.
<v Speaker 3>Stephanie Vacoor showed up and said she would face the
<v Speaker 3>winner of Naomi and Sky for the title at Clash
<v Speaker 3>in Paris, which is true. Let's see here we then
<v Speaker 3>have the following matchups for next week's Raw in Quebec City,
<v Speaker 3>which is Sammy's Ain versus Russev and Naomi versus the
<v Speaker 3>Sky for the World Championship. And La Knight was shown backstage.
<v Speaker 3>And then let's see, we had el A Knight versus
<v Speaker 3>Seth Rollins of course for the World Heavyweight Championship. This
<v Speaker 3>match went fourteen minutes. But this match ended in d Q,
<v Speaker 3>which is a nice protection for La Knight. I did
<v Speaker 3>not want to see La Knight lose again. Okay, I
<v Speaker 3>know l and eight beat Seth, but it was only
<v Speaker 3>because Seth sacrificed himself to fool people. So Seth beat
<v Speaker 3>La Knight in fourteen minutes by d Q because see him.
<v Speaker 3>Punk hopped the barricade and attacked Rollins, and then after
<v Speaker 3>the match, Punk worked over Rowlins at ringside. Knight was
<v Speaker 3>upset about Punk interfering in the match and pulled Punk
<v Speaker 3>off of Rollins. Punk blew off Night and went after
<v Speaker 3>Rollins the ringside, but bron Breaker comes out and does
<v Speaker 3>his thing as he does every single week, and spears
<v Speaker 3>Punk a Night went after Breaker, but Bronson Reid ran
<v Speaker 3>into him. Blah blah blah. They were all overcome essentially,
<v Speaker 3>as Reid held Punk and then Rollins gave Punk a stomp,
<v Speaker 3>Roman Rains his music hit people went crazy and he
<v Speaker 3>took out Reid with a superman punch, and he looked
<v Speaker 3>up at Rollins who was in the ring, and Rains
<v Speaker 3>climbed on the aprin and entered the ring. Rollins and
<v Speaker 3>did the cowardly thing and left. Breaker tried to hit
<v Speaker 3>Rains from behind, and Read went after Rains. Eventually, Rains
<v Speaker 3>got the better of everybody until it you know, he
<v Speaker 3>turned his back and that's when Rollins stomped Rains Breaker,
<v Speaker 3>held Rains down and hit hit him with two tsunamis,
<v Speaker 3>and that was that and a good night for Rollins
<v Speaker 3>and his his his cronies because they beat down the
<v Speaker 3>two top baby faces, the three top baby faces on
<v Speaker 3>the show. L A knight, Cmpunk Roman Rains, A really
<v Speaker 3>good night for the Heels, a good night for just
<v Speaker 3>good old fashioned heat on the on the on the
<v Speaker 3>top group in the company right now, which is Seth's group,
<v Speaker 3>whatever that's called, there's still no name, but I think
<v Speaker 3>it was overall a very effective night. We've now got
<v Speaker 3>let's see as in Saturday, it'll be three weeks until
<v Speaker 3>it's three weeks, yes, this Saturday will be three weeks, yes,
<v Speaker 3>until Clash at Paris, Clash in Paris or Clash at
<v Speaker 3>Paris on August thirty first, which is the next pl
<v Speaker 3>we have to look forward to. It feels like it's
<v Speaker 3>a long ways away. It feels like a long ways away,
<v Speaker 3>and that's because we're I mean, I'm gonna used to
<v Speaker 3>like a week and a half turnaround at this point
<v Speaker 3>for wwepls, whether it's Saturday Night main event, and then
<v Speaker 3>you get you know, some random Saudi event that we're
<v Speaker 3>all in love with so much. Then you have Summer Slam,
<v Speaker 3>and you had the Women's Evolution ple e. And then
<v Speaker 3>if you watch TNA or anything, I mean, forget it NXT,
<v Speaker 3>you pretty much had a pl E every weekend for
<v Speaker 3>the last three months. Now we get a bit of
<v Speaker 3>a breather and we get to wait until Clash in Paris,
<v Speaker 3>where things are shaping up nicely, things are shaping up
<v Speaker 3>real nice and then, believe it or not, that is
<v Speaker 3>the last I think. The last pl of summer is
<v Speaker 3>Clash in Paris, believe it or not, at least summer
<v Speaker 3>for here in the you know, the northern hemisphere. So
<v Speaker 3>a good night, no brock lessner. As I mentioned, they
<v Speaker 3>did not bring Brock out other than the mention of
<v Speaker 3>him and how he came back and Nick con and
<v Speaker 3>essentially say yeah, you come home and all the rest,
<v Speaker 3>which is fine. Again, if you expect Brock to be
<v Speaker 3>there even every other week or every other other week,
<v Speaker 3>you may be sorely disappointed. You have to just go.
<v Speaker 3>Brock will be there when he's there. He'll be there
<v Speaker 3>for the big events. He'll help build up a match
<v Speaker 3>or two and then he'll go away again for two
<v Speaker 3>months and come back. That is brock Lessner's schedule. It
<v Speaker 3>will forever be brock Lesner's schedule, and it's you know,
<v Speaker 3>it's just cool to see put all the legal crap
<v Speaker 3>aside if you can separate it, you know, in other words,
<v Speaker 3>if you're a grown adult and you can separate the accusations,
<v Speaker 3>okay from the wrestler brock Lesner, then it's kind of
<v Speaker 3>wild that in twenty twenty five we are still seeing
<v Speaker 3>brock Lessner. The same thing about John Cena, that whole
<v Speaker 3>class of brock and John Cena, the same one that
<v Speaker 3>Batista was in, the same one that Randy Orton was in.
<v Speaker 3>I mean, out of all of them, Randy Orton probably
<v Speaker 3>has the most years in front of him. But the
<v Speaker 3>fact that we still get to see brock Lesner in
<v Speaker 3>this day and age is pretty insane. Because brock Lesler
<v Speaker 3>came in and again in two thousand and two. If
<v Speaker 3>you remember, I believe he first feuded with the Hardys,
<v Speaker 3>and he was with Paul Hayman as the next big
<v Speaker 3>thing in two thousand and two. I was a junior
<v Speaker 3>in high school. I mean, I'm sure everybody within the
<v Speaker 3>sound of my voice. I think it was a live
<v Speaker 3>in two thousand and two, where maybe you were born
<v Speaker 3>in two thousand and two. It's very possible. But I
<v Speaker 3>was a junior in high school, which feels like four
<v Speaker 3>hundred years ago to me, and I just had my
<v Speaker 3>twenty year reunion. Well my twenty year reunion for high
<v Speaker 3>school was two years ago, but my point still stands,
<v Speaker 3>like I was a junior in high school. Maybe you
<v Speaker 3>were older than that, maybe were in middle school. Maybe
<v Speaker 3>you were an element score again, maybe you were just born.
<v Speaker 3>But take yourself back to O two and the fact
<v Speaker 3>that we are still twenty three years later, twenty three,
<v Speaker 3>almost a quarter of a century, and we are now
<v Speaker 3>still talking about Brock Lesnar competing in a wrestling ring.
<v Speaker 3>It's pretty damn special. Think about that. I mean, sometimes
<v Speaker 3>we just take things for granted. All legends come back
<v Speaker 3>and uh yeah, yeah, yeah, like this kind of thing
<v Speaker 3>from a pure wrestling perspective, If you are adult enough
<v Speaker 3>to separate all the legal crap from the actual accomplishments
<v Speaker 3>and what Brock means to a lot of different industries,
<v Speaker 3>particularly pro wrestling, then you can understand the really significance
<v Speaker 3>of Brock Lesner being here and just kind of the yes,
<v Speaker 3>there's nostalgia with it. There's that nostalgic element, but also
<v Speaker 3>just the damn like it's kind of unbelievable the Brock's
<v Speaker 3>been able to keep himself in this kind of shape
<v Speaker 3>and then we're still alive to see Brock Lesnar compete again.
<v Speaker 3>You can say the same thing for Randy Orton and
<v Speaker 3>John Cena. A class that is fading out, the attitude
<v Speaker 3>Ara stars have us pretty much all faded out. The
<v Speaker 3>Rock can still come back now and then when he
<v Speaker 3>wants to grace us with his presence and start to
<v Speaker 3>start a major storyline and then just leave and pretend
<v Speaker 3>he has nothing to do with it, you get the
<v Speaker 3>occasional Stone Cold stunner. And we did see a match
<v Speaker 3>at WrestleMania thirty eight with Stone Cold and Kevin Owens.
<v Speaker 3>Does could Austin go again? I guess he could. Undertaker's done,
<v Speaker 3>Triple Hs can't wrestle Big shows no longer here. That
<v Speaker 3>whole era, Chris Jericho's not in that whole era is
<v Speaker 3>pretty much done. So the ruthless aggression era that is
<v Speaker 3>now phasing out. The last few are still unbelievably with
<v Speaker 3>the company. Other than Batista, it's the top three of
<v Speaker 3>the four of that infamous OVW class that are still
<v Speaker 3>here in some way. Johnsen is wrapping up his career
<v Speaker 3>at four months. As I said, brock Lesner's back, I
<v Speaker 3>don't know for how long, maybe a year or two,
<v Speaker 3>probably no more than that. And then you have Randy
<v Speaker 3>Orton who's still semi regular and hasn't lost a beat,
<v Speaker 3>so pretty damn incredible. But those are the three big
<v Speaker 3>mainstays from.
<v Speaker 2>The h.
<v Speaker 3>That whole era of ruthless aggression. You know what it
<v Speaker 3>would be, And this is just I'm gonna leave you
<v Speaker 3>with this thought. People are up in arms as I
<v Speaker 3>said about Brock and everybody that's pretending to be offended,
<v Speaker 3>and male feminists that are just all women should not
<v Speaker 3>watch wrestling. I'm disgusted. It's just all just bowing in
<v Speaker 3>virtue signaling and nonsense and pretending to be offended. But
<v Speaker 3>if you think that reaction was bad, imagine if and
<v Speaker 3>I really don't know if this is possible, I would
<v Speaker 3>advocate for it because of just the pure reaction that
<v Speaker 3>it would elicit from not just the wrestling world, it
<v Speaker 3>would I think overlap, it would cross over into mainstream.
<v Speaker 3>If Vince McMahon were brought back, not in any kind
<v Speaker 3>of story or my gott a match the dudes eighty
<v Speaker 3>years old, but if he were brought back just as
<v Speaker 3>some kind of quick authority figure for a night, or
<v Speaker 3>if you're brought back for WrestleMania in a special spot
<v Speaker 3>where he would be I don't know, the referee, or
<v Speaker 3>he would be he could be the host of WrestleMania
<v Speaker 3>or something like that. I mean, imagine the reaction from
<v Speaker 3>people you think this was bad. Imagine Vince McMahon. I
<v Speaker 3>don't think they'd do it until everything is one hundred
<v Speaker 3>percent cleared with his Janelle Grant deal and Vince has
<v Speaker 3>put all the legal trouble behind him. But you thought
<v Speaker 3>this was bad, Just think about Vince McMahon being brought back,
<v Speaker 3>not again, not for a management position, an actual management position,
<v Speaker 3>not being hired by TKO, not being in for in
<v Speaker 3>the producer's meeting, or any kind of creative position, just
<v Speaker 3>as an actual performer on a very short term basis,
<v Speaker 3>to shock the world and to be involved in some
<v Speaker 3>major story. It would be I would I would pay
<v Speaker 3>top dollar to see that. To hear the reactions you know,
<v Speaker 3>fans whoever they are and wherever it happens, would explode.
<v Speaker 3>People would you talk about a holy s chant. If
<v Speaker 3>Vince McMahon's music were to ever hit and he'd walk
<v Speaker 3>down the ramp if he can still walk, the crowd
<v Speaker 3>would go insane. They would lose it. Fans wouldn't care
<v Speaker 3>about the Janelle Grant thing. They would just be happy
<v Speaker 3>to see Vince McMahon and be there for the moment
<v Speaker 3>and excited. And you think, oh that's no, people would No,
<v Speaker 3>they wouldn't in person in the moment. Fans aren't gonna
<v Speaker 3>give a damn. I would advocate for because the pure
<v Speaker 3>just insanity. It would bring the rating spike I think
<v Speaker 3>it would bring. It would bring mainstream attention. Sure, it
<v Speaker 3>would bring criticism on the company that have to be
<v Speaker 3>ready to defend it and be ready to handle all
<v Speaker 3>the legal issues. And you know, notice that they've stopped
<v Speaker 3>all the post shows. I know they stopped all the
<v Speaker 3>post shows. That's certainly not a coincidence. But I mean,
<v Speaker 3>I'm just thinking about that, and I'll be honest, do
<v Speaker 3>I think it's gonna happen. No, But I don't think
<v Speaker 3>we've seen the last of Vince Ookman on WWE television
<v Speaker 3>until he dies, because when he dies, there'll be a
<v Speaker 3>big tribute, and he's probably not far off to death
<v Speaker 3>given his age. So I don't think that, you know,
<v Speaker 3>I do think that before that happens and he dies
<v Speaker 3>and whatever the case, cancer, heart attack, you know, whatever
<v Speaker 3>normally kills men, I think that you will see Vince
<v Speaker 3>McMahon on WWE television again, whether it's in the Hall
<v Speaker 3>of Fame or it is in a big kind of
<v Speaker 3>cameo appearance moment at WrestleMania. That would be it would
<v Speaker 3>be just it'd be a sight to behold. You want
<v Speaker 3>to you want to piss off all these people that
<v Speaker 3>are all these you know, all these people that are
<v Speaker 3>just trying to shut down WWE, which is a joke
<v Speaker 3>and pretending to be angry. I would double down on it.
<v Speaker 3>Bring Vince back just for a very brief moment, very
<v Speaker 3>short term, to see what the fans do you talk
<v Speaker 3>about controversy that that would give you a little controversy.
