When you think about pizza in Louisville and the area, you think about Bear Knows have a great selection. They My guy from England loved it last night. I love it every time we get to eat. I feel sorry for these people right here who came in just to eat and then all of a sudden, all these Kentucky fans and had to turn away. You know, I'm sorry. We just got all the tables. What are you gonna do? You know, it's one day. They'll be open tomorrow. You can come down chan they have carry out. Yeah, you get carry out, but you have a hard time finding the table. Right now, That's what happens when we come to town. Let's talk about what happens tomorrow at five o'clock. There's gonna be very few busier five o'clocks in the history of Kentucky sports. Kentucky plays Louisville at five fifteen. Kentucky's women play at five o'clock. Kentucky place pitt in women's bat foot volleyball to go the final four or at five o'clock. All three games tomorrow are at the exact same time at the bar tomorrow. Just because of the logistics, we can't even have the women's game because we have to have it, because we have to put it on certain TVs. 00:02:13 Speaker 3: We can't do it, and it's complicated. 00:02:15 Speaker 4: But we will have the men's game and the volleyball game at the same time. 00:02:20 Speaker 3: We've talked a. 00:02:21 Speaker 4: Lot about the men's game, but Kentucky's women are playing for only their second Final four trip in the history of the school against Pitt. 00:02:28 Speaker 3: Tomorrow. They're playing the number one team in the country. 00:02:31 Speaker 4: Ryan Pitt almost lost yesterday to Oregon, went to five sets. 00:02:36 Speaker 3: They nearly lost. 00:02:37 Speaker 4: We were nearly able to avoid playing the number one overall seed. 00:02:41 Speaker 3: But we get them tomorrow with a chance for the Final four. 00:02:43 Speaker 5: You know, we maybe don't talk about the volleyball team enough. Eight straight conference championships and now tonight they got a chance to play tomorrow for a chance to play to the Final four. I mean, yeah, it's amazing. It's gonna be tough. Like you said, you got number one Pitt on their home floor there. 00:02:59 Speaker 4: But they almost lost last night. They played five seed Oregon. Oregan was up two sets to one, had a chance to beat them didn't do it. I think even though they're number one of all the top seeds, they played in the weakest conference. They might be the one that's the most vulnerable, so we might have a shot of taking them. 00:03:17 Speaker 6: You gotta play somebody good when you get to this point. And I watched the entire match of Kentucky Missouri yesterday and outside of the third set, where looked like Kentucky fell asleep for a minute, they were pretty dominant. So they're enjoying Pittsburgh so far. I don't know if anyone else watched it, but in the top right of the screen there was an entire section of UK fans had a nice little turnout there. I hope that's the case again tomorrow. But I'm wondering, if you're Mitch Barnhart, what do you do? Do you clone yourself? As you know normally he tries to attend everything. 00:03:43 Speaker 3: It probably go to the volleyball. 00:03:44 Speaker 6: I think you gotta go to significant What a what a predicament. And it's such an odd time five o'clock. 00:03:50 Speaker 4: How about that Chane all three of them at once tomorrow? When I go onto the postgame show tomorrow night, you know there's a chance they could be three and zero. I guess they could be owing three, but they got they got a chance to have a big run there. 00:04:04 Speaker 7: Not gonna be zero and three, but yeah, it's gonna be kind of difficult to keep up with every everything that's going on. 00:04:09 Speaker 8: Shout out to Craig skinner Man. 00:04:10 Speaker 7: I mean, he loaded up that first part of the schedule, played a lot of tough teams, and I think he's the reward right now for that. 00:04:19 Speaker 4: All right, I do have to ask you, Shannon. I mean, every time this comes up, we gotta go to you. I know you've read about the drones that are in New Jersey. So in the state of New Jersey, there are drones flying over people's uh these towns all over New Jersey. The federal government has announced that it's not federal government drones and it's also and they're not worried about it from in any sort of security standpoint, but they haven't said what it is. Which if I were the government, just say it so that people like us don't opene on it exactly. 00:05:00 Speaker 7: Government, just say it's aliens, full accepted, and then we'll know what it is. 00:05:04 Speaker 3: It's not aliens. 00:05:06 Speaker 4: Well, what do you think are the drones that are flying over New. 00:05:09 Speaker 7: Jersey it's anything to do with our own country. I think that possibly it could be another country spying on us. Now we had the spy balloon, I think you could see maybe something similar with that in in the form of a drone. 00:05:21 Speaker 3: But you would acknowledge that it's not an alien. 00:05:24 Speaker 8: It's an alien that's piloting the drone. 00:05:27 Speaker 3: So you think there's actual here. You think there's actually a foreign alien. 00:05:31 Speaker 8: There's a team with like a little remote control that's running the drones. They're looking at us. 00:05:37 Speaker 4: There's been some talk that maybe, uh, it might be it might be weather stuff. There's some talk it might be a foreign country if you lived in these towns, because there it's it's only over a handful of towns in New Jersey. If you lived in these towns, would you be nervous about it? 00:05:54 Speaker 6: Drew, Yes, I'd be very nervous that there are aliens above my house, which there are right now. Remember who brought this up two days ago. I've been following this since they first appeared. We're getting so close to disclosure of aliens matters right in front of us, it's right here. Well, would you rather it be a threat like a China, or would you rather be aliens who are just checking things out. 00:06:15 Speaker 4: I'm much more scared if there were aliens, which there are not. If there were aliens, I would be much more scared of them because they would be way advanced in technology. As I've said before, if they got here before we got even new where they were, then I'm scared of them. But I don't believe that happened, so they're not there, and I would I would, Yes, I would rather it be China because we can fix that. If there's aliens that have traveled from other galaxies, we're done. 00:06:42 Speaker 3: So. 00:06:42 Speaker 6: If they're just hear in peace though, just to make sure we're Earth. They're just scouting us out, making sure we're not throwing nukes at each other, so Earth, so good. 00:06:51 Speaker 3: I don't think. I don't. 00:06:53 Speaker 4: I think it's probably there's as with everything Ryan, I'm sure there's a benign explanation. 00:06:58 Speaker 3: But I do think if I lived in one of. 00:07:00 Speaker 4: Those towns, because they're small towns that these things are flying over, if you lived in one of those towns, you would wonder about it. 00:07:06 Speaker 5: Right, of all the states in the country, why would anyone want to spend any amount of time in New Jersey. I mean, I don't know why they're scouting New Jersey. 00:07:13 Speaker 3: New Jersey is a nice place. There's parts of New Jersey they're nice. 00:07:17 Speaker 8: Most of it's a dump. But on the other side, you know, you get killed in New York City. It's spider. Now. 00:07:21 Speaker 7: We shot down the Chinese weather balloon, right, I think, so why can't we shoot down the drones? 00:07:26 Speaker 4: Well, I think I don't know, but I would think the answer is if you shoot it down like in the middle of a city, and in all the debris has to go somewhere, that would you know it might cause problems if all this debris just falls on the people. 00:07:40 Speaker 7: Sure, I mean, alien might land on your house. But that's the price you gotta pay to find out what it is. 00:07:45 Speaker 9: A force filled around in this. 00:07:48 Speaker 3: I think. 00:07:49 Speaker 4: I think if a big drone falls from the sky, you know, it's like people, you say, if you throw a penny off the entire state building, I don't know what would happen, but they always tell you not to do it because something would. 00:08:00 Speaker 3: And I would think the same thing would be if a drone fell from the sky. 00:08:02 Speaker 5: Now, then we have a situation. Was it in Mount Washington where there were drones over people's houses shooting it down? 00:08:08 Speaker 3: He was just well, can you shoot it down? 00:08:12 Speaker 5: If it's over your house, can you shoot it down? Is that private property? 00:08:15 Speaker 3: Who's you? 00:08:16 Speaker 5: If I'm the homeowner? 00:08:17 Speaker 4: In New Jersey, You're not gonna you do you see how I have to hide these things up. 00:08:21 Speaker 3: You're not gonna be able to shoot it with a gun. 00:08:23 Speaker 6: I'm sure was a guy got arrested for shooting at him in New Jersey. 00:08:25 Speaker 4: I understand, But you're not like these things are way up there like they they're like people have like very strong telescopes. 00:08:32 Speaker 3: To see them. They're not just like right over you. They're like way up in the in the in the air. 00:08:36 Speaker 7: I would be concerned if I live there. I mean, you don't know what that thing is capable of. It could shoot, it could explode anything. 00:08:42 Speaker 3: Shoot you're worried it's gonna shoot you. 00:08:43 Speaker 8: You little lasers coming down. 00:08:46 Speaker 7: You gotta shoot him before it shoot you. 00:08:53 Speaker 3: I'm shooting it first of all. No, you're not stop acting like you're out here on the wild West. 00:08:59 Speaker 4: You don't even have a gun. Tell me how you're gonna shoot. I've never seen you shoot anything, and you're like, I'm shooting it. 00:09:06 Speaker 3: You're not doing a thing. 00:09:07 Speaker 4: Don't act like you you're gonna see if here's what's gonna happen, you're just gonna sit there and you're gonna go to bed and try to keep your dogs from yapp and you're not gonna do a thing to it. 00:09:16 Speaker 5: You're right, I ain't going to New Jersey. 00:09:19 Speaker 3: I don't know why you want to go. Even it was at your house, you wouldn't do anything to it. 00:09:23 Speaker 5: My dogs would be out barking at it. 00:09:24 Speaker 3: That that'll that'll show them who's up next. Ted, you're gonna shoot it? You gun? Ted? Go ahead, guy. Hey guys, I'm doing good. 00:09:39 Speaker 10: So quick quick question for you. We were fortunate enough to get the last minute tickets to the Kentucky Gamy Saturday. 00:09:48 Speaker 3: Seeing this crowd and getting the heck out. 00:09:51 Speaker 4: I'm sorry, I know you did this bearing those folks for business. 00:09:54 Speaker 3: I'm sorry. We're just running. 00:09:56 Speaker 4: Y'all gonna have to buy pizza because you have run all these people out. 00:09:59 Speaker 3: Of here, all be more welcoming, So you're you're gonna have to buy the pizza. I go ahead. 00:10:05 Speaker 10: Sorry, Uh, we got last met tickets to the Kentucky game. Initially we were gonna be sitting lower level mid court. They had long story, short double told the tickets to a former player, so they moved us to the. 00:10:18 Speaker 11: Floor on the end zone near the Louisville bench. 00:10:22 Speaker 10: Do you guys, do you guys know what that? What that you is like down there? 00:10:26 Speaker 12: And when we be able to. 00:10:28 Speaker 10: See everything just fine from the corner like. 00:10:30 Speaker 8: That, nobody stands up? Why are you? 00:10:34 Speaker 3: I mean, I love you, but why are you asking me that? Like? 00:10:36 Speaker 4: I mean, of course you're it's it's okay, of course you're gonna see. You got you got put seats on the floor, and you're complaining about it the game on the floor and you're asking me if you're gonna be able to see I think you're gonna be good. 00:10:51 Speaker 9: Just the whiskey thief, whole brag of the day. 00:10:53 Speaker 10: I'm not complaining, I promise you. It's just I was just curious. 00:10:58 Speaker 12: But I don't know. 00:11:00 Speaker 4: There's no there's nowhere in Reperena that I know that you won't be able to see. 00:11:06 Speaker 3: Okay. 00:11:07 Speaker 10: Other question is I saw something on on Twitter or x the other day that stated there might be four SND teams ranked number one in the in the tournament. Is that even mathematically possible with the way the. 00:11:23 Speaker 4: Yeah, it would work if I mean if you had and I appreciate the call. If if Alabama, Tennessee, Auburn, and Kentucky were to all only lose three or four conference games, which could happen, there's a world I could see you having four ones. 00:11:40 Speaker 3: Did i With State beat Iowa last night? They did? 00:11:44 Speaker 7: Okay, they're so nice now, but. 00:11:48 Speaker 4: But yes, there is a world Drew where that could happen. I think it's unlikely, but it's plausible. 00:11:53 Speaker 9: Yeah, it's extremely unlikely. 00:11:54 Speaker 6: But if those teams were to just kind of beat each other up and then go undefeated against the rest of the conference outside the I think you'd still need some other top teams to lose in their conference. 00:12:03 Speaker 4: We have, I mean, po we have the non conference schedule to do it. So like take Iowa State playing in the Big Twelve, they're not gonna get as many good games. So if they lose four conference games, Shannon, our four conference game losses will look better than there. 00:12:19 Speaker 3: So there's a world where it could happen. I think it's unlikely, but as possible. 00:12:22 Speaker 7: I mean, we've already got like half of the top ten in the SEC right now in week six, So I think there's a very good possibility that it does happen. 00:12:30 Speaker 8: You have four number one seeds off. 00:12:32 Speaker 4: I think there's a very good possibility that you get four SEC teams that are one or two, and then maybe like eight that are one through four seeds. There's definitely a world where we could like have like half the one through four seeds. 00:12:48 Speaker 3: I think, Ryan, that is distinctly possible. 00:12:51 Speaker 5: Can you imagine just that that's the final fourth the SEC tournament. I mean, you're gonna hear us say this a lot. If you got a chance to go to the SEC tournament, you need to go. This could be one of the best SEC tournament. 00:13:00 Speaker 3: This will be one of the most expensive SEC tournaments whatever. I mean. 00:13:04 Speaker 4: If you have tickets, don't sell them, or if you do, wait and get a premium, because I mean, think about just a few things to think about. 00:13:10 Speaker 3: First of all, probably the. 00:13:12 Speaker 4: Best the highest ranked Tennessee's ever going to be the first time the ain't been number one, right, so you got Tennessee is gonna be great. If you ask me, what are the five fan bases that travel the. 00:13:23 Speaker 3: Most for the SEC tournament. 00:13:24 Speaker 4: I'm gonna tell you four of them are the four best teams in the SEC, and the fifth is probably Arkansas that has a chance to be rejuvenated because of cow Texas has never had an SEC tournament before. I got a feeling their fans are gonna want to come just to be in Nashville for that event because they used to always have to go to Kansas City for their conference tournament. 00:13:46 Speaker 6: Austin's trying to be Nashville anyway. They gotta go take notes. 00:13:49 Speaker 4: So you put all of that together, I think, Drew, I think this will be a wild SEC turnament. 00:13:57 Speaker 6: Yeah, I'm really looking forward. As I said earlier, I'm just looking for the regular season as a whole. We're gonna have a few more losses than we want, but it's good to have the best basketball in our conference. We can take a little pride in that in football, and I think now that we're having basketball, the SEC is just getting more and more dominant across the board. 00:14:12 Speaker 3: What's up next? 00:14:14 Speaker 5: Dennis is up there? 00:14:15 Speaker 3: Dennis? Go ahead, Dennis, Hey, how we done good? What's going on? Oh? 00:14:21 Speaker 12: Not much? 00:14:22 Speaker 13: A couple couple of things on the portal and then a comment on Pickelster year on the portal. I like what Kentucky's doing going after some of these and I call him mic talent players has started for two or three years. But the only problem I have is that seemed like a lot of power full conference, our four conference teams doing this. 00:14:44 Speaker 3: Now. 00:14:44 Speaker 13: For example, the Bowling Green O lineman that's coming here, Jason, I can't pronounce his last name, but I think he's got some visits that's scheduled after Kentucky's visits. So Kentucky's gonna bench Marl's not to No, we're gonna. 00:15:01 Speaker 4: Get but you know, they've always done a pretty good job of that. I mean, they've always done a pretty good job of being able to out recruit the top schools for some. 00:15:08 Speaker 3: Of these guys. 00:15:08 Speaker 4: We're not gonna get them all, but I do think we'll get we'll get some. My question, though, is if you have to start of the twenty two starters on offense and defense next year, there's a decent chance eight to ten, maybe nine to eleven of them are gonna have to be portal people. And that's a lot more than Mark's had to start in the past and I we'll just see how that works. What's your second thing? Really quick? 00:15:30 Speaker 3: I gotta go to break, Okay. 00:15:33 Speaker 13: Buddy Mine from Kentucky Loves UK has lived down in Charleston, South Carolina for the last few years, and he absolutely loves Pat Kelsey says he's a great coach. 00:15:45 Speaker 4: So well, good for your friend, but we're gonna crush him tomorrow. Louisville expected to be busy tomorrow. 00:16:37 Speaker 4: I hope to see you there and then you can watch the game there as well. If we win, I'm gonna come do the postgame show down there for the post game as well. 00:16:46 Speaker 3: So hopefully that happens. 00:16:47 Speaker 4: Although I will say every time this year that I've said I'm gonna do the postgame at the bar if we win, we've lost, so hopefully that won't be true in basketball. It was true in football, but then again, we lost almost every home game in football, so there's nothing I could do about that anyway. 00:17:00 Speaker 3: A couple quick things. 00:17:01 Speaker 4: The NCAA has said they're likely to expand the tournament to either seventy two or seventy six. 00:17:10 Speaker 8: You hear the collective groans in here. 00:17:11 Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean, I you know what, I get it, But it doesn't bother me a lot, Shannon, because you're basically what they're gonna do is you're essentially talking about two more at large teams. They're gonna be if they go to seventy two, they'll do two more playing games, and then they'll do two more at large teams. 00:17:33 Speaker 3: So basically you're expanding. In my mind, you're expanding. 00:17:36 Speaker 4: It by two really, because if the small conference teams play each other, it doesn't it doesn't matter a lot. 00:17:42 Speaker 3: Do you do you what do you think of that? 00:17:45 Speaker 7: I don't love it, But it's two more games that no one's gonna pay attention to anyway. 00:17:50 Speaker 8: So like, at the end of the day, does it really matter that much? I guess not. Now we keep going, we go to like ninety six. 00:17:56 Speaker 3: That would be when I would have that don't want that? 00:17:58 Speaker 8: Yeah, Like at some point you got it, cut it off. 00:18:01 Speaker 4: I will say this though they've added. I mean, the argument for it is they've had forty five teams since they went to sixty four. It was sixty four, they went to sixty four, and like nineteen eighty five there were three hundred and twenty teams, and now there's three hundred and sixty five teams. So I think that's the argument Ryan why they're good with it, you know, and they want to make money. 00:18:22 Speaker 8: That's really that's the bottom line right there. 00:18:24 Speaker 5: When they expanded to sixty eight, I was like, I turn my nose up a little bit, But I watch those games now, you know, So. 00:18:32 Speaker 8: You're the one who watches them. 00:18:33 Speaker 4: If they go to say, I'm CBS sent me to those games for two years in Dayton. If you ever get a chance to go, They're awesome. I mean they really are awesome. The whole the whole city of Dayton comes. It's a great environment. I mean, it really is. It's one I would say the first four is a better environment in person drew than the average first and second round games in terms of just being a cool atmosphere. 00:18:58 Speaker 6: I like just having them to bet on to try to get a little money for the first round really starts. So I'm never gonna cry about extra basketball. I am a little kind of no to this. Like you said, it's not a huge deal, but I'm just gonna keep doing it and then we're eventually gonna get in the nineties. So I would if it was put in front of me, I'd vote no, But I'm not that strongly against it. What do you think about actually wonder not that this matters, but what would like the field of sixty eight? 00:19:19 Speaker 9: Do do they have to change their man go to field of seventh? 00:19:24 Speaker 4: The SEC Tournament, by the way, they're gonna do sixteen teams this year. But there's some talk that in starting next year, they might leave two teams out and only do fourteen, which is what a couple of conferences do. Now, I think the ACC is leaving a couple of teams out. 00:19:43 Speaker 9: Now, didn't would you? 00:19:45 Speaker 3: I think? I think you're right. I think Louisville didn't make it. What do you think, Ryan? Would you do? 00:19:49 Speaker 4: You? The reason being, basically, you know, they don't want to punish that. Now the team that finishes ninth is still gonna have to play five games in five days. This would allow the teams in the top ten to get a bye. 00:20:03 Speaker 3: Are you okay with that? 00:20:04 Speaker 5: We're gonna find out. I think this year, with those four games on Wednesday, I think there's gonna be a lot of interest in those games. I mean, I think they maybe want to keep it just because they're gonna expand the tournament for a full day of games on Wednesday. 00:20:16 Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean, it's it's again adding two more games. But like, let's just take this year. Let's look like, right now, the SEC has nine teams in the top twenty five. So if you're Mississippi State, you're ranked in the top twenty five, but you might still have to play on Wednesday in the SEC Tournament even though you're ranked in the top twenty five. 00:20:36 Speaker 3: Do you think that should we should try to avoid that. 00:20:39 Speaker 6: I get the argument, but just do better. I like the format as it is. Heck, some of my favorite games in Nashville or Georgia versus Missouri when we're the only seven people in the arena. So I like having all the teams there, even if they did have a stinking Remember. 00:20:51 Speaker 7: We went to that first night and it was pocked because they let everybody into preak. 00:20:56 Speaker 3: Nashville's done the right thing. 00:20:58 Speaker 4: Yeah, if you again, if you go to the SEC tournament, they now on Wednesday nights, and I don't know if they'll do this Wednesday day too. 00:21:04 Speaker 3: They just let everybody in for free. And so it is. It is. 00:21:08 Speaker 4: It is kind of a wild atmosphere. People get hammered and they are partying, and. 00:21:13 Speaker 3: It is it's fun. It's kind of fun. 00:21:15 Speaker 7: I remember walking in thinking we're gonna get a great seat for this game. We were up at the very top as the only seats we could find couldn't get in. 00:21:22 Speaker 3: Who's up next? UK? 00:21:24 Speaker 5: Greg is up there? 00:21:25 Speaker 3: You k Greg? How are you hey doing? 00:21:29 Speaker 4: Good man? 00:21:29 Speaker 13: Good to talk to you, Aufia. So tomorrow is really really exciting with all the Kentucky sports going on. You know, I'm fired up aout the basketball game. But let me ask you a question. I'm trying a hard time finding the women's game on iHeartRadio now that WLAP is not carrying it. Is there an iHeart station? 00:21:47 Speaker 3: Yea, that's Billy. 00:21:48 Speaker 4: Where's Billy? Billy would know the instance? What station is the women's game on radio? Ninety eight five? So the men are ninety eight one and the women are ninety eight five? 00:22:00 Speaker 13: Perfect? All right, thank y'all, go cash. 00:22:02 Speaker 3: That's why. 00:22:03 Speaker 4: That's why we have bills in the corner, answer the corner and just answers the questions to make sure they're right. 00:22:10 Speaker 5: Who's next, Johnny VERSACEI is up now. 00:22:12 Speaker 3: Johnny Versachi. Nobody hates Louisville more than him? What's up? Johnny Man? 00:22:18 Speaker 11: You know I hate Louisville. 00:22:19 Speaker 3: Is it okay? 00:22:20 Speaker 11: Have I gone a rant here? 00:22:22 Speaker 3: Sorry? Rick talked over you? What did you say? 00:22:26 Speaker 13: Is it okay? 00:22:26 Speaker 11: Have I go on a rant here? 00:22:28 Speaker 3: Forty seconds? Go ahead? 00:22:30 Speaker 11: Well, first of all, UFL is very inconsistent. Yeah, the collegiate headquarters of outside the line, adultery, extortion, vacated championships, and coaching searches. 00:22:43 Speaker 3: Okay, that's a lot. 00:22:46 Speaker 11: A bird with teeth is a pagan sign of the apocalypse. 00:22:50 Speaker 3: Wow, okay, And. 00:22:54 Speaker 11: Kenny Payne won those games and Eric Wood sucks hell down? 00:22:58 Speaker 4: Oh wow, yeah right, they'll never from me live down the Kenny win one those for eight talk so much trash about Kenny won those games. I appreciate the call, Johnny. That to me is the epitome of Louisville. Kenny won those games and he only went it ended up winning ten overall in two years. We'll take a break and be right back. This is Kentucky Sports Radio. Watermack, Kentucky Sports Radio. Love that here in Louisville. Great energy today here at bear nos Uh pizza is flowing and getting ready. Here we are in Louisville style pizza Louisville and Southern Indiana, pasta, salad, sandwiches, and right now you can get a five dollars gift certificate for every twenty five dollars gift card purchase, so you basically get thirty dollars worth of food for twenty five dollars. Here if you go to Beer Nos for Christmas ballid through December twenty third, Ryan the Ohio State fan bases in shambles. They have what ought to be one of their most exciting days of all time coming a week from Saturday. They host a playoff game. They host the Tennessee Volunteers. Who knows when the last time they played at Ohio Stay two massive programs an easy drive apart should be one of the biggest days in program history, but they couldn't sell out all their seats. When they put the tickets on sale immediately, a season ticket holder leaked the password to a Tennessee message board, and over five thousand tickets have already been sold to Tennessee fans. The Ohio State president came out and said, hey, buck Eye Nation, please come by tickets so that we don't end up with an Orange invasion, which of course is now making old Tennessee fans only want to invade even more. You know, there's ninety thousand people in that stadium, but you get ten thousand people in Orange, that's gonna be a pretty big group. Could could next Saturday be an embarrassment for Buckeye Nation in a game that should otherwise be really exciting. 00:25:22 Speaker 5: It is embarrassment. I couldn't believe when I saw that story that they had leaked out the pass code to Tennessee fans to let Tennessee fans buy tickets to the game in their home stadium. That's an embarrassment. I mean, Ohio State Buckeye fans are some of the most unrealistic fans in the world anyway, this is just taking it to another level. 00:25:39 Speaker 4: I saw one of the Ohio State commentators sheen and said that they think it might have been better for Ohio State to go on the road because they're worried. People are so mad at the coach for losing the Michigan that if they don't score in the first quarter, everybody will boo. 00:25:53 Speaker 3: And a road game at home. 00:25:55 Speaker 7: Who knew that Ohio State, first of all, had a rat. We gotta find this rat that leaked out that pass code. But they should be absolutely ashamed of themselves, especially if they let Tennessee invade their home stadium. 00:26:06 Speaker 4: With it so close, you got to assume there's gonna be a lot of Tennessee fans there. I mean, it's that was already the best game, but now you kind of really want to see what happens, don't you. 00:26:18 Speaker 6: Yeah, And as much as I hate Tennessee, to give them a little credit. They'll travel, they'll spend a little money. I think they'll have a good turnout. I saw one fan account put out a seating map where they're trying to checkerboard in Tennessee. Are I mean, obviously they can't do that, but that's what their mindset is, that they're at least making graphics to attempt it. 00:26:34 Speaker 8: Wow. 00:26:35 Speaker 6: If I'm Ryan Day and I don't win that game, I don't talk to anyone on a look anyone. I walk straight to my car, I drop out of Ohio, and I never. 00:26:42 Speaker 9: Go back to next state. 00:26:43 Speaker 6: Move oh he won't have to worry, they'll fire him. But I wouldn't even look at Ohio on a map after. If I lost that game. 00:26:49 Speaker 4: Then the other big game I think on Friday night is Notre Dame in Indiana. So I was thinking Kentucky play Saturday at five o'clock against Ohio State, And I got a bunch of friends coming to watch it, like it's like kind of our Christmas party, and so I go, you know what pregame show won't beatle two thirty. South Bend's not that far. I think it would be kind of cool to drive up. I might drive up Friday night and try to go to the Indiana No Name game. And then I saw, do you know what the get in price right now on the secondary ticket market is for Indiana not to day. 00:27:25 Speaker 5: It's gotta be hock. They never play. I mean they're in the same state, they're probably what two three hours apart, they never play. 00:27:31 Speaker 3: As of last night. 00:27:32 Speaker 4: To get into the game, not even a good seat, nine hundred and eighty dollars. Wow, to sit in the cold, to sit in the freezing cold at the top row. 00:27:47 Speaker 8: What a privilege that is. 00:27:49 Speaker 4: But that's what happened when you when you get two teams in the same state that never play each other, that it is a playoff game. 00:27:56 Speaker 3: It's a front. Notre Dame is Hope. 00:27:58 Speaker 4: You know, they have a national fan base, their host need a playoff game Friday night, prime time. I couldn't believe it though, that's in I'm not doing that. That's a crazy amount of money. 00:28:06 Speaker 6: I didn't have a number in mind, but the moment the bracket came out, I looked at that, knowing how close Indiana is they probably wanted that game for a long time. I figured it would be insane. I'm married into a Notre Dame family. If we didn't have Kentucky Louisville, I would have considered it too. Not that number, but that is gonna be a crazy atmosphere up there for that game. 00:28:22 Speaker 3: It is, I mean, nine hundred and eighty dollars. 00:28:25 Speaker 4: I mean you can get into you can almost get into the super Bowl for nine hundred and eighty dollars. 00:28:30 Speaker 3: It's insane that it is that. 00:28:32 Speaker 9: I ambout to watch Indiana play a football the. 00:28:34 Speaker 4: Indiana of all teams, and I hopefully that lady, are you sorry you're gonna pay for your wife to get nine hundred and eighty dollars for Notre Dame Indiana. 00:28:42 Speaker 3: It's not a chance, not a chance. We'll take her to the Louisville game. You can probably get a little cheaper. Who's up next? 00:28:48 Speaker 13: Jerry is up next? 00:28:49 Speaker 3: Jerry, Go ahead, Jerry. 00:28:52 Speaker 14: Hey Man. First off, I'll bet the end that drone thinking up being a bunch of really smart college kids having a lot of fun building. They see aircraft, they you know you. 00:29:03 Speaker 3: Can It's gonna be aircraft it's gonna be something like that. Like all these worries, it's gonna end up being nothing shading. 00:29:09 Speaker 9: You wouldn't say, okay, we'll see. 00:29:12 Speaker 3: Reason reasons shot down, or it's a bunch of college kids. 00:29:17 Speaker 8: Get shot down. 00:29:18 Speaker 3: It's college kids college kids. 00:29:20 Speaker 14: But well, two things, there's nothing strategic in New Jersey. Who the heck wants to go to New Jersey? Number two, if it was a bunch of terrorists, they'd be sitting over those drones to blow up, not just fly around. 00:29:32 Speaker 3: Uh. 00:29:32 Speaker 14: The second thing I want to ask you about, I haven't heard anything on Vandergriff as far as transfer portal. I've heard as I suspected he had a spring to ac joint all all year and he's throwing shoulder, which is a significant injury. But I haven't hear anything about him transfer and I expect he'd be one of the first guys in the transfer portal after from there on the sideline of the Little Game and. 00:29:54 Speaker 3: Or anything. I mean. 00:29:55 Speaker 4: I so, first of all, for those of you that watched, I didn't know this show was still on when I was growing up. My grandmother watched this all the time. But for those of you that watch the seven hundred club. They actually do an interview with Vander griff. I think I appreciate the call. Jerry that an answer it was. I think it aired yesterday. So there's a guy who is a Kentucky fan who works for the seven hundred club and actually came and interviewed him. I have heard that he is likely not to play football anymore. 00:30:27 Speaker 3: That was this is just what I heard. 00:30:30 Speaker 4: This may end up changing. But he was I think seriously injured in that Tennessee game. And I also think maybe the concussion especially maybe made him reevaluate whether or not he wanted to keep doing it. So I've heard he wasn't going to play. He has not entered the portal, which only further makes me think that's likely. But he hasn't made that announcement Drew, So I mean, I don't. 00:30:53 Speaker 9: Think it's inficial until he says that. 00:30:56 Speaker 6: I mean, he posted he's out hunting and he's still got his milk heads. He's posted on social media. But I just we're watching his accounts waiting for some piece of news. Figure it could come at any minute, but we've been thinking that since the season ended. 00:31:06 Speaker 4: But it also might make me wonder some of these guys in ile deals forced them to go to a certain period, and part of me wonders, I could be wrong about this, but I think because I think UK got some of their players to sign in ale deals that forced them to play the bowl game. 00:31:28 Speaker 3: Obviously we didn't have a bowl game. 00:31:30 Speaker 4: But some of them may actually be like extended out through a period, and his maybe one of them. And he has to get to that period before he makes announcement. That's just a gas, but that's I think that's. 00:31:41 Speaker 9: A says it to say that. 00:31:42 Speaker 6: But when he posted his milk ad just the other day, it made me wonder if he has an obligation to finish out some social media and a few other things before he truly can. 00:31:49 Speaker 3: I think that Ryan is probably the most likely scenario. 00:31:52 Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean he was beat up really bad this year. I mean he we got to get the guys from credit. He played through a lot of injuries and a lot of pain to try to do the best he could for our team. But I think I think you're right. I think mah, he is ready to walk away from football. 00:32:04 Speaker 4: And for those of you that have ever had like a real concussion, like a serious concussion, it can freak you out. 00:32:12 Speaker 3: I mean, I mean it can freak you out. 00:32:13 Speaker 4: And if you're already thinking, look, I don't know shit if I want to do this anyway, if the last time you stepped on a field you got knocked out, you could see how somebody might might not want. 00:32:23 Speaker 7: If he's not going to the NFL in his mind, is the juice worth squeeze, you know, in that situation, and maybe not. 00:32:30 Speaker 3: I think that's exactly right. Who's next, Poe? Go ahead, Poe, Hey, go good. Don't sound so excited. 00:32:42 Speaker 12: I am excited. I'm I'm excited for Kentucky more. 00:32:46 Speaker 4: All right, well let me hear it your boys hang on to second, Poe. If you're excited, I want to hear you sound excited. So let's start that call over, but with the excitement of uk. 00:32:56 Speaker 3: U of l tomorrow. Ready, Poe, go ahead, it go cat go much better? 00:33:05 Speaker 12: Right, go ahead, A good luckshning tomorrow. Back that man's head in that cage. And when uh he's. 00:33:15 Speaker 3: Talking about. 00:33:17 Speaker 4: I think he was just talking about Live your wrestling age tomorrow. 00:33:21 Speaker 3: Yes I am. 00:33:21 Speaker 7: I didn't know if he said he was going to bash my head into the cave or yes, I'll get him. 00:33:25 Speaker 8: I'll get him for you, Poe. 00:33:26 Speaker 2: No. 00:33:26 Speaker 12: I love you, man, I love y'all, and I'm glad you had a fun adventuress and especially safe trip out out west. 00:33:36 Speaker 3: Thank you very much, sir, go ahead. 00:33:39 Speaker 12: I want I want to say, as jumbled up as this he may be this this season, regular season, how much do you think that the tournament will mean more as far as seating will go. 00:33:53 Speaker 4: I ain't get a matter in the early rounds, but I appreciate the call. The NCAA has already said the champion doesn't matter the championship, but in the early rounds there'll probably there might be a game drew on Wednesday where the winner gets in the tournament and the loser does it. 00:34:06 Speaker 3: That's a possibility. 00:34:08 Speaker 6: Yeah, I mean, being so loaded. We don't obviously don't know the seeding yet, but I mean, if you had a UK versus Bammer in Auburn or Tennessee vice versa on Saturday or something that fight. 00:34:17 Speaker 9: For a one seat flip a seed line between the two teams. 00:34:20 Speaker 3: Yeah. Uh, Shannon. 00:34:21 Speaker 4: By the way, tonight we have ovw Inn Georgetown, a country boy. Come on out, Shannon will be there. We got actually our best roster, Our full roster is here tomorrow, tonight and tomorrow and then Saturday night. For those of you in Louisville, Kentucky, Louisville ends Historic Davis Arena. It's the first night we've ever done. Every match is in a cage, including Shannon. The dude is wrestling in a cage, which I think is the funniest thing I've ever seen. And I'm thinking about doing the postgame show there just to watch you get a beat up. 00:34:53 Speaker 3: Tomorrow it is. 00:34:53 Speaker 7: Start gonna happen. Put me in a cage. I'm like an animal. I'm gonna just destroy Adam Revolvery. 00:34:58 Speaker 3: He's probably never a lot of animals that go in cages though. 00:35:01 Speaker 7: And no, no, no, no, no, no, you wait to I'm like a possum in a cage. You ever seen a possum in a cage? 00:35:06 Speaker 13: No? 00:35:07 Speaker 8: Yeah, you don't want to. 00:35:08 Speaker 3: Mess what happens with apossible will tear you apart. 00:35:10 Speaker 8: Just like I'm gonna do to Adam Revolver tomorrow night. 00:35:12 Speaker 4: You're gonna be the cage of all the animals. Tiger's like, you're a possum. You could have chose any animal and you decided you're apossum. 00:35:22 Speaker 8: Play dad, and then when you think I'm dead, I get you. 00:35:25 Speaker 3: Are you gonna like clawmb on the cage or doing any. 00:35:28 Speaker 8: Jimmy Stipper plus snooka off the top of the cage? 00:35:31 Speaker 3: You would you would pass out out of out of you don't like high. 00:35:34 Speaker 7: You might get a nosebleed up there. But yeah, it's gonna be a lot of fun, all right. 00:35:38 Speaker 4: So Georgetown Tonight a country Boy, Tomorrow night Historic Davis. There are only a handful of tickets for Historic Davis Rena, so you need to go ahead and do that. Hey, the Kentucky Chamber, Uh, you know, housing ryan still matters? Shannon never wins a match at Historic Davis Arena. 00:37:15 Speaker 8: Tell me you never watch OBW. Without telling me you never watch OBW. I went all the time. 00:37:19 Speaker 7: Check the record books, I won my last match as a matter of fact, So yeah, I don't. 00:37:22 Speaker 3: Know if that's true. 00:37:23 Speaker 4: I was just saying to them, if I can laugh about this, you all can laugh about it. 00:37:29 Speaker 3: I didn't. 00:37:31 Speaker 4: Recently, I went back and I saw part of the clips from Wrestlers, and when I have the seizure incident, you go if you were to go back and watch. 00:37:40 Speaker 3: I know that's not easy for people to watch, but if you go back. 00:37:43 Speaker 4: And watch, as I'm coming out of it, one of the things they do is they sort of, hey, do you know where you are? 00:37:48 Speaker 3: And they go the verson. Jeff looks at me and goes, do you know where you are? 00:37:52 Speaker 4: And if you read the caption, it says garbled language, but I understand my garbled language, and I'm trying to. 00:37:59 Speaker 3: Say historic Davis Arena. 00:38:03 Speaker 4: Even in that state, Drew, I was trying to use the word historic, and we get a historic in there, so like, if. 00:38:08 Speaker 3: You hear it, you won't be able to tell, but I could tell that. That's what I was trying to say. 00:38:13 Speaker 4: All right, cats and cards tomorrow, Drew, what do you think is our best matchup against Louisville? 00:38:20 Speaker 6: Our best matchup is Kentucky? 00:38:22 Speaker 9: Versus Louisville, just all of it. 00:38:25 Speaker 3: I don't know. 00:38:26 Speaker 6: I guess an individual matchup, I think Andrew Carr might have a big game. He plays well when the light's a little brighter, especially in the second half. 00:38:33 Speaker 9: I expect a big game from him. 00:38:35 Speaker 6: I'm really just feeling good overall, and I'll feel even better if I see Lamont Butler in warm ups. But I just think Kentucky's a much better team right now, in the first year of this new era. 00:38:44 Speaker 3: Yeah, I think they're a much better team too. 00:38:47 Speaker 4: I love our bigs tomorrow night, to be honest, I think that, you know, most some of these teams have been able to dominate us with the size. I think this is actually a game rn where we will dominate them with size because our bigs, I think, are a lot better. 00:38:59 Speaker 5: Than Yeah, louisll was kind of perimeter oriented, and so if we do have an advantage, I think it is with the bigs. And I was gonna have Andrew carrs my MVP. You guys already talked about him a little bit, but it could be a game where even like Brandon Garrison has a successful they don't have anybody to kind of match him. Down low as at his athleticism. 00:39:15 Speaker 3: Well, we finally shoot well. 00:39:17 Speaker 4: I mean we shot thirty two percent from three against Kolgate and it was our best three point percentage in the last five games. I mean, there is a part of me kind of going, hey, we're gonna start needing to make and we're gonna start needing to make these threes. I mean, thankfully we had Brea to make five of them the other night, but we've we still struggle with these threes. 00:39:36 Speaker 7: I think he's gonna be key Finally, last game, Kobe Brea started to look like Kobe Brea from earlier in the season. He struggled for a stretch of games there. He's gonna be the guy that has to get back on track. Both teams shoot close to thirty three pointers a game, so we're gonna talk about possibly sixty three point shots going up tomorrow. 00:39:55 Speaker 4: Is gonna be a lot. You think we shoot a lot? You think our offense is dependent on threes? Watch Louisville and the and the difference is again I say, knock a wood. They don't actually shoot him very well. We haven't shot him very well recently. They really haven't shot him very well all year except for that Indiana game. But they want to do the same stuff we do. 00:40:14 Speaker 6: They take more than Kentucky at a worse percentage. Mark Pope's big thing is he wants to take thirty a game. They had thirty in the last game for the first time in a couple weeks. Louisville averages thirty two. But they're shooting like twenty seven percent. So if that continues, I think Kentucky's in a good spot all right. Through a three point in the last game, though, everybody not named Kobe Brea went oh for eleven in the first half and Robinson missed his first six, so they saved themselves in the second half. 00:40:36 Speaker 9: But it was still ugly there for a while. 00:40:37 Speaker 4: Yeah, they were. Robinson was two for eleven for the game. All right, So let's do this cats. Do we know the spread yet? I don't think it's as well. 00:40:45 Speaker 3: Ten and a half? Well, we guessed. 00:40:47 Speaker 4: I guess nine and a half, Drew Guest eleven and a half, so we got right in the middle ten and a half. 00:40:52 Speaker 3: Shannon, and who's going to win? And tell me the MVP? 00:40:55 Speaker 7: All right, obviously gonna pick Kentucky. They win eighty one seventy. We've been talking about Kobe Brea. I think he's gonna be the guy who gets hot tomorrow. He's gonna be my MVP. 00:41:05 Speaker 3: Kobe Brea. 00:41:06 Speaker 9: What about you? 00:41:07 Speaker 5: You know, two new teams, two new coaches, but there's one guy that knows all about this rivalry and it's Mark Pope. He played in this game for two years. He's the guy that understands what it's about. He knows the assignment. So Kentucky's gonna win ninety one seventy six. I'm gonna take I'm gonna take Andrew Carr before you guys get him. 00:41:24 Speaker 6: All right, what about you feeling good about the Cats? I'll say eighty eight seventy four. That's a cover and we are going to see a record broken tomorrow with my MVP. Kerkrease is gonna put his l's down on the bench more than anyone has ever put their l's down. He might walk out doing the l's down in his street clothes. So I'm taking Kerr as a kind of spiritual leader over there on the sideline. 00:41:47 Speaker 4: I think in the last few year, in the last couple of years, both programs kind of got away from what their fan bases were Kenny didn't have the effort to be the coach there, Cal was in his own world. I think, now you have two guys who embrace this rivalry. But I don't care about Louisville. I care about Mark Pope and I care about Kentucky. I think we're coming. It's gonna be a good game for a while. We'll probably get Louisville's best effort of the year, but we're not losing at home to Louisville With Mark Pope. Kentucky wins eighty seven seventy eight, and I will say, if you're gonna leave me Jackson Robinson, he ends up what scoring the most points most of the time. I will say this, there's gonna be a moment where we're gonna have a big play, will be like a two or three point game. I want to see Rupperina stand up and get loud, and let's beat the heck out of Louisville Cardinals tomorrow. Thank you all very much here at Bear Knows for coming out. We appreciate it. Our pregame show will be tomorrow at two thirty. Let's beat the Carns. This is Kentucky Sports Radio.
