00:00:19 Speaker 1: I don't think there's like a whole lot of benefits for Indy to his parents being in the entertainment industry. If anything, he gets annoyed by people, you know, recognizing me, like yeah, or just just knowing that, like and the kids at school know that, like you're dead. Was on a TV show. But I finally, like we just had the coolest I felt so proud to be able to provide an experience for Indy. He's gotten so obsessed with the Simpsons, like just every day, all day, every day, if he has control of the remote, it's Simpsons, Simpsons and I love it, Oh my god, because the show is so good and like I hadn't watched it since I was basically like a teenager or whatever, and to rediscover through his eyes. And he just loves cartoons. He loves animation, he loves voiceover, he loves all of it. And he's figured out how to do all the voices. He wants to know which actors do which voy Anyway, so it is so fun because there are so many Simpsons fans out there, like people you know, like so friends come over and they like quote episodes with him. And anyway, I was talking to my wife's producing partner hit his wife she used to be a writer's PA on The Simpsons, and I was telling her about how you know, oh yeah, and he's going, you know, he's just down the Simpsons rabbit hole. She's like, oh, well, does he want to go to a table read? And I was like, no, yes, and she's like, well, let me see what if they're having one. Three days later, we pulled about a school on a Thursday morning. You know, yeah, yeah, we told him and he just could not He couldn't, you know, he just was his jaw was on the floor. And sure enough, we went to Fox and we parked and it was so fun because you know, we're able to get out and we're like, oh, you know, this is where we met, Like Alex and I met on a Fox TV show on Fox, so I was like, oh yeah. Then we were walking him through the studio and then I'm like, oh, look, I think that's the stage where we shot. And sure enough, they actually had a plaque. You know, a kid couldn't believe because we only did thirteen episodes of Pepper Dennis, but there was a plaque for Pepper Dennis. Were like, that's where your mom and Dad met we like took a photo and next to the plaque, and then and then we walked into the table read and he had never been to a table reading, you know. And well they had like you know, couches around the table, and yeah, you just got to sit and watch this incredible cast do their thing. 00:02:33 Speaker 2: Uh. 00:02:33 Speaker 1: He got to see everybody bringing their voices, doing multiple voices. You know. I actually knew Gray Delisle was there, you know, will I kind didn't realize she does the Simpsons, so she's been doing it like the last five years. So I got to say hi to her. And then Matt Greening was there, and he saw Indy and he signed a script for Indy, so Andy has a sign script. I know. It was the like the kid just was so overwhelmed, you know, he was like super quiet and nervous. But then like he got to talk to Matt Greenigg. You got to talk to these actors, and like Gray came over and did a bunch of voices for him, and and then they walked us over to the writer's room. Afterwards. I got to see their beautiful writers. 00:03:09 Speaker 3: You know. 00:03:09 Speaker 1: It was just like it was so cool. I was like, this is like the thing we can provide is like access to something like this, so. 00:03:16 Speaker 4: One unbelievable experience. We'll remember that for the rest. 00:03:19 Speaker 1: Of his life, I know. 00:03:21 Speaker 3: I yeah, that's really cool. 00:03:23 Speaker 4: Memory absolutely made no doubt about it. 00:03:25 Speaker 3: That's so cool. 00:03:26 Speaker 4: And that was must have been fun for you too, I mean, like even just aside from Indy, Oh, I know, I. 00:03:32 Speaker 3: Was like I want to go of course, No, it's school, no problem. Yeah, it was. 00:03:38 Speaker 1: Just so fun to be at a table read again. It had been so long, you know, I guess basically since Girl Meets World for me like to be you know, but also voiceover table reads are just so fun because you're watching people jump from character to character and hear everybody. 00:03:51 Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean if you're doing if you're doing a primetime like a Simpsons or a Futurama something like that, then you'll do a table read. But all the episodic stuff we don't ever. Yeah, no, we do a read through. If we did like a Batman or something, just in the room, like all right, let's read through it once real quick. But an actual table read where you're kind of sitting around doing Oh, they're so great and the script was so good. 00:04:10 Speaker 1: I mean, it was such an honor to be in a room with, like, you know, some of the best writing staff in the world, and it's like and they're just killing it. This episode was hysterical. You can't talk about it because that kind of come out for another year. But it was amazing. It was so fun to be there for it and like, yeah, I just I mean, think about it. 00:04:28 Speaker 3: The Simpsons has been I think the first time the Simpsons ever did anything whatsoever was on the Tracy Ullman Show, right, and it was like nineteen eighty six or something. 00:04:37 Speaker 4: I mean about how long it's been going. 00:04:39 Speaker 3: It's insane. 00:04:40 Speaker 1: I know, I remember when it was all controversial. When it came out. I was like, ye, Bart was a bad kid, and he said, God, you know, disrespectful things avon middle schools. 00:04:49 Speaker 3: I think it was middle school. It must have been sixth grade or so. I had my family and I had just gone to Los Angeles. It was like the first time it'd ever been there. And I found a Bart Simpson eat my Shorts T shirt. 00:05:01 Speaker 5: Wow. 00:05:01 Speaker 3: Yeah, And I wore it to school and I got called into the principal's office because I had on and ate my shorts that Barts at Mike I walked in and I was the coolest kid in school. It's like, oh my god, it's Barts and no one had seen anything like it in school in Connecticut. It was so cool. 00:05:15 Speaker 1: Did they make you like, I don't know. 00:05:17 Speaker 3: I think it was you can't don't wear it again, and so it became like a sleeping shirt. But I eat my shorts. It was the coolest thing in the world. 00:05:24 Speaker 1: Man. 00:05:24 Speaker 3: They were everywhere, and I'm one of the there. There's a select group of us where I love Matt Greening so much. I really like The Simpsons, but Futurama, yes. 00:05:35 Speaker 1: And he's gotten into Futurama. I've never seen an episode of that show, but. 00:05:39 Speaker 3: Oh, it's so the writing and acting on that show. I mean again, Simpsons is will always be the Simpsons, but oh it's so good. 00:05:46 Speaker 1: Well, you know that's the other thing. And he's going to be a Bender for Halloween. So he got his Bender outfit and he put it on. And I of course know John Debagio, who did the voice of Bender. I've known him. I actually met John right when he got Futurama and his career just like Launch, and I've worked with him a bunch and he's just the best. He's the nicest guy. So I was like, hey, look who he's in. He's gonna be for Hollywood. He's like, kid's got good taste. 00:06:10 Speaker 3: Did you see Did he ever tell you the most It's one of the most amazing stories I've ever heard in my entire life. He was it was like eleven thirty at night, and he was driving somewhere and decided randomly to stop off and get a tattoo, and he goes it's like, Hollywood, it's this famous tattoo guy. He was open late and he's like, I'm literally driving by this guy maybe I I don't know where it was, but he said. He's sitting down in the chair getting a tattoo, and there's a guy next to him who's telling him a story, telling his tattoo artist a story about how he's flown all the way from Australia to have this guy tattoo bender on him. So John is sitting next to this guy randomly who's flown across the world to have this one guy put one specific bender tattoo on him, and the guy who voices Bender comes and sits down next to him. The chances of happening are so ridiculous. So of course he goes into the whole I'm bender and the guy starts crying. He's like, it was the most amazing thing that ever. It's such a cool story, so cool, crazy yeah, crazy. 00:07:19 Speaker 4: Well, we'll never know what that feels like to really change someone's. 00:07:23 Speaker 1: Life getting a tattoo next to. 00:07:28 Speaker 6: Him, Bill will for sure. 00:07:31 Speaker 3: We've seen all the Boy meets World tattoos. People get a toe. 00:07:34 Speaker 4: I know you're right. I was saying it in jest. 00:07:36 Speaker 1: We actually get one. 00:07:38 Speaker 4: Well, just because you like tattoos doesn't mean we all need to like tattoos. Get one. Writer also likes tattoos. Did you ever figure out what your other tattoo was? Did you get your second tattoo? 00:07:49 Speaker 3: Right? No? 00:07:49 Speaker 1: No, I haven't still him and nailed it down, but I'm planning to give it one probably. 00:07:55 Speaker 3: Well. 00:07:55 Speaker 4: Welcome to Pod Meets World. 00:07:56 Speaker 3: I'm Daniel Fisher, I'm rather strong, and I'm will Fredell. 00:08:11 Speaker 4: Welcome to season five, episode seventeen. And then there was sean. 00:08:21 Speaker 1: Wow, Wow, I can't believe we're here. 00:08:25 Speaker 4: I can't see. 00:08:26 Speaker 3: Yeah, I can't either. 00:08:27 Speaker 4: Feels like the beginning of the end. At this point, you know, because it does kind of like we're turning a corner. We're turning a corner, We've hit it. It feels like this. I remember when we shot this episode feeling like we were so well established at this point. Like I'm sure I felt that at other times, but I really remember this week being like, oh, we are we are a solid show. Our povs are pretty clear, even though now that I'm rewatching them, like. 00:09:00 Speaker 3: What who's PUV is this? But I remember at. 00:09:03 Speaker 4: The time thinking we are locked in, we know what we're doing, and. 00:09:08 Speaker 1: Well, it's just so it was so much fun, right, I mean, And the key, the key to the all the memories of this episode is just that we were all together. We're all in scenes together, and we just never got to do that. We always had a story B story, They split us up based on our school schedules or whatever, and this was one of the few episodes where I feel like we were an ensemble, the entire cast in that classroom in the hallway, just having so much fun. And like, actually watching the episode was a little anti climactic for me. As far as the episode itself, it was like, is that all that happens? Because it's so it looms so large in my mind because I have so many personal memories of it, and like I was just laughing mostly behind the scenes stuff the entire. 00:09:47 Speaker 3: Yeah, I felt the same. It was also though there was no audience, so it was just ours, right, There was something about it just being ours that I kind. 00:09:54 Speaker 4: Of There were some weird moments where that kind of bumped me, because at the very beginning of the episode there were moments that were very c clearly a laugh where I laughed out loud, and then they wouldn't put a laugh in right, And then a little farther into the episode they added laughs, but then later they would take the laughs away. And as I was watching, I kept thinking, like, is there a scientific reason for this? Is it because in certain moments it's dream like more dream? I couldn't figure it out, but I. 00:10:21 Speaker 1: Think they were. I think if they went back, they would have put more laughs in. I think they didn't know how it was going to go, you know, because we'd never had an audience, so they had to put those laughs in, going is this working? And yes, it was, like it should have just because it's absurd. 00:10:34 Speaker 4: From the gap of all romps, the best way I loved it. I mean I kept seeing all the different references. We had us running back and forth in the hallway looking exactly like Scooby Doo cartoons, Like all of that stuff is so funny, and and we embraced it so fully. It's I know writers mentioned it before when we've done a romp, like if we had taken it further, it would have felt better. There was no taking this one further. Yes, as are as it can go completely unhinged, and I love it. 00:11:05 Speaker 1: Yeah, it was great fun. 00:11:07 Speaker 4: So this was not a Halloween episode when it aired. It originally aired February twenty seventh, nineteen ninety eight, so almost. 00:11:16 Speaker 3: Second Halloween. 00:11:18 Speaker 4: Halloween. 00:11:19 Speaker 3: Everybody knows that that second Halloween. 00:11:21 Speaker 1: And then there was Seawan Day. That's what. 00:11:24 Speaker 3: Was Salem, Oregon as opposed to Salem, Massachusetts, totally different Halloween. 00:11:29 Speaker 4: Well, we wanted to fix that issue by airing this recap on Halloween. We are gonna pretend like this was planned because I can't imagine a better, more more perfectly produced idea than releasing and then there was Shawn on Halloween. But the truth is, because we are honest to a fault, this is a coincidence is that possible that. 00:11:52 Speaker 3: Sue said, She's like, wow, you're areas on Halloween. That was really well planned. I was like, from two years ago. 00:11:57 Speaker 4: No, couldn't have been land this way. 00:12:00 Speaker 1: Couldn't. 00:12:01 Speaker 4: No, absolutely not. So it's just a really fun coincidence, and we're excited about it. So this is constantly regarded as maybe the best episode in Boy Meets World history, and it's a ramp. Also worth noting Scream one had been released a little over a year prior, while Scream two and I Know What You Did Last Summer came out just two months before this episode, so we are definitely smack dab in the renaissance of the meta slasher. 00:12:30 Speaker 3: Yes, now I was there, I went, I went well while Love was shooting I Know what You Did Las Summer, North Carolina? 00:12:35 Speaker 4: Did you? 00:12:36 Speaker 1: Yeah? 00:12:36 Speaker 3: It was It was fun to see kind of the behind the scenes of how the horror stuff works because I'd never been on a set like that. 00:12:41 Speaker 2: Wow. 00:12:42 Speaker 3: Yeah, it was cool. 00:12:43 Speaker 1: And then they did pickups in Padega, like right by where I grew up in northern California, because I remember I ran into her. 00:12:49 Speaker 4: Oh that's right a mile from my house. 00:12:51 Speaker 1: So fun, and she was shooting because yeah, I guess they had to do pic Was it for one or two? 00:12:55 Speaker 3: Do you know? Oh? 00:12:57 Speaker 1: Maybe it was two. I don't know it was. It was definitely the weirdest thing to run into love. Like, like a mile from my house, she literally pulled her. She was in a limo and they pulled or a town car or something and they pulled in front of me, like as I'm leaving my house. And I was like what, yeah, I was so and then she yeah. We ended up talking and like catching up and she. 00:13:15 Speaker 5: How did you know? 00:13:16 Speaker 4: She was in the car. 00:13:17 Speaker 1: She got out of the sun roof and waved to. 00:13:20 Speaker 4: Me because she saw you, because she saw me. 00:13:23 Speaker 1: Because I was driving my car and I pulled out and she like got it was like Hi, I'm like why is this woman screaming? And I was like that's love, what what's happening? And then we pulled over and she's like I'm shooting the pandego. We're doing you know, reshoots or whatever. I was like, oh my god, yeah, so crazy, what a coincidence. 00:13:38 Speaker 4: That is so funny. Okay, So the synopsis, the gang finds themselves locked in the school all alone during detention. It was directed by Jeff McCracken. U, poor Jeff. I think this is probably the best place to tell the story. I think it's it's almost like boy meets world lore at this time. We've talked about it a million times. But in case there are any of you who don't know the story, this is the first and only time Jeff McCracken ever yelled at us, ever, ever, ever, ever, And boy, let me tell you, he was mad. He was mad, he was so mad, and we we will talk. Let's talk about it when we get to the scene, because it is we fully deserved it. And the worst part of the memory for me is that he lost his cool so much like just fully lid blue off, was so angry at us, deservedly, so we couldn't keep it together. We were being so unprofessional, and and he stormed off with his big mile long legs and his big limbs as he stormed across the set, and you know what felt like four strides, And the minute he was around the corner, we all just bust out laughing again because it was so it was talking and so out of character, and we couldn't we physically couldn't stop laughing. So yeah, sorry, Jeff, you know how much we love you. If we could go back and do it again, we'd probably do it exactly the same way. But boy, we just love you so much. 00:15:28 Speaker 3: So. 00:15:29 Speaker 4: It was written by Jeff Manel and guest starring Jennifer Love Hewitt as Jennifer Love Fefferman, one of the biggest stars in Hollywood at the time and the girlfriend to our young Wilfredell. She broke onto the scene and Disney's Kids Incorporated, and then found fame as Sarah Reeves Marin on Fox's Party five, and her true tie into this episode, besides dating the older brother on it, is her starring role in the aforementioned I Know What You Did Last Summer, a quintessential nineties horror film. Jennifer has appeared in movies like Heartbreakers and Can't Hardly Wait, and infamously in the Enrique Iglesias video for Hero. Most recently, she's been seen on The Client List, Criminal Minds, and as a star of Nine to one one. And then we have Richard Lee Jackson as Kenny. He is the brother of another Boy Meets World guest star that we have coming up soon, Jonathan Jackson, and was seen on Mighty morphin Power Rangers, and in Saved by the Bell The New Class. He is currently the drummer of Inanation, a band with his brother Jonathan as the lead singer. 00:16:34 Speaker 1: So they were already in a band back then, I. 00:16:36 Speaker 4: Think, Yeah, I think they'd been banding for a long time. 00:16:39 Speaker 1: Yeah, so one thing I remember that. 00:16:42 Speaker 3: The other thing I remember most about this episode was how much we liked him. 00:16:45 Speaker 4: Yeah, oh yeah, he's such a great so nice. 00:16:48 Speaker 3: Fit right in with us. We were all just hanging out, like, he could not have fit in better with us. He just it was because I mean, talk about craziness for a guest star coming on to a well established show in an episode like this with no audience where everybody's an ensemble man, that could have been daunting, and he just couldn't have been cooler. 00:17:06 Speaker 4: Yeah, super relaxed, super fun to work with, and didn't have the benefit like like Love did, where she was already familiar with our set, already familiar with our cast, obviously knew you so like she had that to me, Yeah, she had made she had that to make her feel a little more comfortable. He had none of it and fit right in. It was really really great. I don't even think we need to go over our overall thoughts of the episode, like let's just jump in hate it. 00:17:29 Speaker 1: Yeah, well I did feel a little bit like, oh this it felt thinner than I remember, you know, in my mind it had gotten so epic. But yeah, mostly I was just laughing at the end jokes and the memories, like you know. 00:17:41 Speaker 3: That there's so many, so so many that were just us making each other try to laugh. You and I, Wrider couldn't look at each other at times where I mean it was you could tell we're all staring off into space because we can't make eye contact with each other. It was, oh god, it was so much fun. 00:18:00 Speaker 1: It was so much fun. 00:18:01 Speaker 4: Jumping into the recap, we start in Phoenie's classroom. Sean strolls into Phoene's classroom and it is confused to see Corey sitting in a seat. Corey explains, the wife and I aren't together anymore, so I figured it would be safer if I had a buffer. Sean. 00:18:14 Speaker 1: Right off the bat, I was like, oh, right, this was We're very conscious of that whole thing that we were talking about in the last couple episodes where it's like this is this is a story of middle aged marriage. 00:18:23 Speaker 3: Yeah, well again, they're going to be engaged in five more episodes. 00:18:28 Speaker 4: True, that's crazy, that is weird thought. Everyone knows that shortly after you get cheated on and lied to, you get engaged. 00:18:41 Speaker 3: Down exactly. It's the it's the equivalent of our marriage is horrible and failing. Let's have a baby. 00:18:47 Speaker 4: Let's have a baby, baby, Let's have a third baby? How this does? 00:18:54 Speaker 3: That'll do it? 00:18:54 Speaker 4: So Sean sighs, this breakup is now having severe ramifications on me over here is and sarcastically notes, ooh ramifications. Nice word, Jughead. Sean points out, you see now Phoene knows I'm in the class, which is a real funny line. I feel like that's like, again a perfect Sean line where there's two. 00:19:13 Speaker 1: Lines in here that didn't feel like Phoenie to me. 00:19:15 Speaker 5: Though. 00:19:16 Speaker 1: The judge Jughead is like really a random reference and not even a reference that our audience would get. It's like it's out of step with both Foeni and our audience, So I don't really love that. And then the other one where he says shot up or whatever, I. 00:19:28 Speaker 4: Was like, yeah, this just doesn't sound like fhoemi. 00:19:30 Speaker 1: It was very different the rest of the episodes, but these two lines right in this first scene. 00:19:33 Speaker 4: I was like, what I agree, I really felt like watching this, especially this opening scene. I was like, feels like a dream sequence. 00:19:40 Speaker 3: Like that's what I thought it was too. 00:19:42 Speaker 4: Yeah, I was like, oh, this could very much be just someone's dream. So Corey pleads his case, if I sit in that seat, I can still smell her hair, hear her breathe, watch her sweater go up when she raises her hand. Suddenly, Sean's okay, was sitting here, however, he notes, I'm only between you two, I'm not in the middle of you. Then we see a cute erring boy Kenny lean over to Topanga to borrow her big pencil. 00:20:06 Speaker 3: Before pencil pencil again. 00:20:09 Speaker 4: Again, dream sequence is very much like what yeah. 00:20:15 Speaker 1: So this whole you think, this whole episode is a dream within a dream within a dream. So Sean's dream and then even this is all part of. 00:20:22 Speaker 4: Even this, It's all part of the fantasy of what it's kind of like to be in school, you know, when you have a dream and then you tell someone, well, this isn't going to make much sense, but I was in my house. But it was the house I grew up as a child, and that it's like like there's a pencil. It didn't make any sense, but it was. 00:20:38 Speaker 3: I think at the end of the day, this is all Morgan's dream. 00:20:41 Speaker 1: But what this is? 00:20:51 Speaker 4: My gosh. Before Tepenga can answer, Sean swiftly gets in between them. They're not divorced, Kenny, it's just a trial separation. Again with the marriage analogies. 00:21:02 Speaker 1: Wow, and why is it just a trial separation? 00:21:08 Speaker 3: No clue? 00:21:09 Speaker 4: Again his dream, so in his fantasy, it's not a real breakup. It's this is this is something where they're they're gonna come to their senses, right, And don't think I don't know what borrow a pencil means. Okay to Panga and welcome back Angela, Angela, She's there. So this bothered me too. I'm so happy to see Trina back, and yet where we have so missed her as as the character in these last couple of weeks. And where is her? What's her standing with Sean? 00:21:45 Speaker 1: That's the thing. They don't had any We never talked to each other the whole episode. 00:21:48 Speaker 4: She grabs your arm when she says she's scared, and you go, I like this, so wait, what are you guys together? Not together? 00:21:55 Speaker 1: And when I make a joke about being sick as you can with it, it's like no reference to her. She's all the way on the other side of the room. There's no like, oh, it's very yeah, it's it's strange. Yeah, I'm not sure what they were kind of thinking. I mean, she's hysterical to the screaming. 00:22:09 Speaker 4: She's great, she's so much Yeah, oh my gosh, a ton of work, really funny. Happy to see her back. But wish they had acknowledged in any way the standing of your relationship, even if it's somehow connected to the fact that this is about Corey and Tapanga being separated, it's a very easy tie in for how it plays into your relationships. 00:22:31 Speaker 1: She can easily just say at least we're still together, or you or I could say Sean. 00:22:35 Speaker 3: We talked about Sean. We talked about this last night on our date. 00:22:38 Speaker 1: You're taking this too seriously. 00:22:40 Speaker 3: We're taking into something one line and it would have been. 00:22:42 Speaker 4: Easy to Panga and Angela stare in shock because he aggressively continues. Nobody nobody's borrowed more pencils than Sean Hunter Corey pulls his friend back. Thanks for not getting in the middle of this. Angela chimes in, Kenny was just asking for a pencil. Sean responds in a sassy tone. I know what he was asking for, and if he asks again, I'll stab that big pencil through his heart. Angel asks to Beanga, why is Sean so obsessed with you two? Tabenga feels like he's taking it even harder than her and Corey. Peoenie interjects, we'll return to the Young and the Restless right after this word from Phoenie. And here is the word shut up, shut ah. Do you think Michael gave that line reading to building. 00:23:22 Speaker 3: We do, because that's it's such a Michael. 00:23:29 Speaker 1: Shut up. I think they wrote it phonetically, probably because yeah, I don't know. 00:23:35 Speaker 3: Because I can't imagine I know, or he would have said something during the notes like all Bill, oh, I got one for you. You got to say it like this, and Bill would have been like, are you giving me a line? You know the thing? You know? So it's but that was totally a Michael read. 00:23:52 Speaker 4: Oh yeah, I mean it's the most Michael read of all Michael reads. So Sean stands up. I'm sure if you can recall the pain of being stabbed in the back by a girlfriend. Topenga slams her hand on her desk. I didn't stab him, he stabbed me. 00:24:04 Speaker 3: Yeah what yeh, I'm sorry. 00:24:07 Speaker 4: What now? Cory stands, Oh, I'd stab myself before i'd stab you. 00:24:13 Speaker 3: I don't get it because he did. 00:24:15 Speaker 4: Did he did? I don't know what we're doing here. 00:24:17 Speaker 3: You're compulsive eater, like you can't. 00:24:19 Speaker 4: I mean, we're ret hanning something that happened moments before, right exactly the winners. Kenny, give me that pencil. Kenny shouts, I don't have one. Phoene's had enough. This class will not be more interested in the romantic goings on if it's students, than it is with whatever the hell I'm teaching. Very funny line. Also, he demands Corey sit on one side of the room while to Pega sits on the other. Sean begs Phoene not to do that. He's only furthering their apartness. Mister Phoene's trying to teach a class here, asking Sean about Nebraska, but Sean cuts him off. Don't try and change the subject, Phoene screams. Quiet one more crazy interruption and all of you nuts are going into detention, and then on cue creepy janitor Freddy, a man who may or may not even exist in real life. 00:25:11 Speaker 3: I think he was real. 00:25:13 Speaker 4: I know, we all our dream within the dream, we're. 00:25:20 Speaker 1: Going to wake up and still be on set trying to make this Episode's. 00:25:24 Speaker 4: Going to be screaming at us. 00:25:29 Speaker 3: Yeah how, I mean, nobody can remember this guy's anything about him. Somebody out there has. 00:25:36 Speaker 4: Got so wonderful. 00:25:39 Speaker 1: But it's not Janitor Bud, which we remember. We debated whether the janitor was, but it's definitely Freddy, creepy and he's got his own look. 00:25:47 Speaker 3: And it's got imagine that's why they did it. 00:25:50 Speaker 1: I'm sure, of course. 00:25:51 Speaker 4: Yes. So he enters the classroom with a garbage bin. Spooky music begins to play as he dumps a trash can and terrifyingly points to the class almost an eerie warning for each of them. Phoene throws his arms in the air. Oh that's it, and then we go to detention. But I don't get what it had nothing to do with them. 00:26:12 Speaker 3: But I don't get unfair. 00:26:15 Speaker 1: Set up was one crazy interruption. Yeah, it. 00:26:20 Speaker 4: Feels like like Freddy in third, if not explicitly stated that, it's if one of you. 00:26:27 Speaker 1: All it would have taken is one of us to react to the janitor, like if Sean had just been like that was weird? Wasn't that weird? 00:26:33 Speaker 3: And we're not going to ignore you saw him too, right, that's all you? 00:26:41 Speaker 4: Yeah? So anyway, I can't believe we can't find Janitor Freddy. If you or someone you know no of Janitor Freddy or grew up hearing about your next door neighbor played Janitor Freddy in that favorite episode of Boy Meets World, please let us know. 00:26:56 Speaker 3: Or if you are Janitor Freddy, that would work too. I think he could be a big fan. 00:27:03 Speaker 1: Are we not? Are we? 00:27:05 Speaker 4: Are we not going to not real? Okay, Baba yaga, it was it was almost thirty years ago, So okay. 00:27:13 Speaker 3: He still you're saying, you know, say he's gone. 00:27:19 Speaker 1: From this plane? 00:27:20 Speaker 4: Guys, how old do we think Jandorf Freddy wasn't. 00:27:23 Speaker 1: He was probably in his forties? 00:27:24 Speaker 3: Maybe you think I would have said probably early sixties. He's early hundreds. You said seventies seven. Really, I don't know. 00:27:35 Speaker 4: I'm not good at this game, but listen, I did think he was in his seventies, and so I was thinking, nearly thirty years from now, we'd be inviting a nearly one hundred. 00:27:42 Speaker 3: And seven year old onto the pod gas because he's fine. 00:27:46 Speaker 1: Wow, I assume that they just made him look worse. 00:27:49 Speaker 4: They may have a white makeup. It's not helping anybody in the dark hair, it's not helping anybody. I don't forties is right or strong. We're in our. 00:27:58 Speaker 1: Forties when we look old. You put me in white makeup. I could have been that creepy janitor. 00:28:04 Speaker 3: Do your point thing real quick, do the point thing real quick. Oh oh yeah, wow, Okay, you're right, You're right. What'sy? 00:28:10 Speaker 4: You suddenly look Sez, it's amazing. So we are in Phoene's classroom in attention to Panga Angela, Sean, Corey, and Kenny are all stuck together. As Phoene paces the room, Corey whispers to Sean, you know, I didn't think seniors still got detention. Phoene's eyebrows raised when he hears this. They do when they act like two year olds. Corey Mox's teacher repeating the line in a Phoene accent. It's just a phoene accent. 00:28:39 Speaker 3: Now I love it too. 00:28:41 Speaker 1: It's a great impression, Like it's great and that this episode, like so line by line he is just making he was killing me. This he's the funniest, He's the funniest he's ever This is probably Ben's best music performance. 00:29:05 Speaker 4: Also the most Ben consistently. Actually, this is this is the most Ben Savage you'll ever truly see. 00:29:15 Speaker 1: Doing impressions of people doing. 00:29:17 Speaker 4: The oh my god, I died murderer. 00:29:25 Speaker 1: I mean, that's what he would do every day rehearsal. It would make jokes, he would change the tones, and then like when it came time to deliver the scene, he would do it straightforward. But behind the scenes this is all the time, constantly because he just finds funny ways to say things. 00:29:41 Speaker 3: The whole the whole thing with the you know, mad enough to kill watch that. 00:29:53 Speaker 1: None of us could look at him, and that we're all just like gonna lose. 00:29:56 Speaker 4: It's just the best. So this was Oh boy, oh boy, absolutely love it so much so. An unamused Phoenie advises Corey when one mocks someone, one should wait until they're not looking right at them. Corey reminds him he's not in his regular seat, which again also in my regular seat. Not in my regular seat. Sorry, I'm off, my offa my game, you know. Phoene explains that that detention means no talking, moving, or fraternizing for the next hour and a half. That's a long detention. I've never been inttention ever either. No, I didn't. I was usually just col silent. How many times have you been in detention? 00:30:35 Speaker 3: Well, I mean I had a Saturday school once because I got caught leaving campus because again, you weren't ever allowed to leave school, so I and I think went to McDonald's of course, something like. 00:30:43 Speaker 1: That, eat my short shirt, eat my short shirts. No Saturday school, you had to go to school. 00:30:53 Speaker 3: Wow, that's it's like three hours in the morning. It was like, yeah, you get there at like eight, you're there from my gay to eleven. Yeah, and then I think there's regular detention in my school, though the middle school was pretty militant with things where it was like if you chew gum detention, you use you know, wrong pen detention. It was wrong. It was really random of a pencil. If your pencils too big and or you use it to stab somebody detention. 00:31:21 Speaker 4: Well, that makes sense. I get the second half of that. 00:31:23 Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, okay, the. 00:31:24 Speaker 4: First there is a little odd, but anyway, As he walks toward the door, Sean asks where Phoene's going. Phoene says he's not in detention, so he can do as he pleases, but he warns the students, don't think because of my absence from this room that you're not being watched now without a chaperone. Kenny pouts, all I wanted was a pencil. Corey responds, Oh, shut up, Kenny, You're lucky to even be here. Kenny says he doesn't see it that way the script. Then Sean stands to leave the classroom. If we're going to be in here for over an hour, then I'm going to my locker to get my cheese product. 00:31:54 Speaker 3: It's cheese. It's your spread, it's your cheese spread. She's just like. 00:32:03 Speaker 4: He tries to open the door, but it's locked. Can you believe this? 00:32:06 Speaker 3: Mean he locked us in? 00:32:07 Speaker 4: Corey shocked, he can't do that. 00:32:09 Speaker 3: It's against the Geneva detention convention. 00:32:12 Speaker 1: That line is so brilliant. I mean, how do you think like that? 00:32:16 Speaker 3: That is so clever. 00:32:18 Speaker 1: I guess convention so funny. 00:32:22 Speaker 4: God Sean peers out the window. Oh here he comes. He darts back to his seat and they all get quiet. But instead of feeni, we see the very pale janitor Freddy slowly walk past the room, peering inside. Scary music plays again, and the kids look very scared. As Freddy peruses the room, Corey asks do you think he works on that look? Shawn addresses the ghastly janitor beyond the door. 00:32:47 Speaker 7: Hey giggles, there's so many random throwaway lines that are just hysterical, and this is the scene again I'm talking about. 00:33:02 Speaker 4: There are laugh out loud moments that get no laugh because they just chose not to put them in. But like, hey giggles, is very funny. 00:33:12 Speaker 3: I think they wanted to keep it scary and spooky, which is probably why they didn't do the laughs. But it needed to. 00:33:17 Speaker 4: Laugh, it needed it. Do you have the key? We enter some rarely used POV shots for this as we see some of the situation from the janitor's perspective. Freddie holds up his gigantic janitor filled key ring. Corey nervously asks you want to let us out? Instead of responding, Freddy just gives them an unnerving smile and walks away to Pega. Scene enough, this is getting scary. Angela agrees what is going on. She rushes up to Sean and holds him tightly. Sean smiles, I don't know, but I like it. Then the world map at the front of the classroom zips open to reveal a message written on the chalkboard. It's possibly blood and it reads no one gets out alive. Angela screams the famous scream. John nervously admits, no, I don't like it as much, and then we go to a suspenseful commercial break. 00:34:06 Speaker 3: I love suspenseful commercial break. 00:34:07 Speaker 4: Can you imagine my favorite type of commercial tuning in? 00:34:11 Speaker 3: Oh yeah, like a kid in February. 00:34:13 Speaker 1: In February, you're like when you're like nine ten, and oh my gosh, this must have been so Jarry read that. 00:34:20 Speaker 3: I was gonna say, you read comments from people that are like this scarred me. 00:34:24 Speaker 4: Yes, this scared Jesus out of a lot of kids. And we're not expecting this. Oh yes, when guys in the episode when we kill Fannie, I was I who barely but truly barely remembered it happen, was like, I cannot believe we kill Kenny. We killed Teenie, not Kenny. I believe we kill Kenny. 00:34:47 Speaker 3: I can't believe we killed. 00:34:50 Speaker 4: Well he was. 00:34:50 Speaker 3: Therefore, that the only joke they missed, and it would have been brilliant, is if they'd put him in a red. 00:34:56 Speaker 4: Shirt oh, for him to become of. 00:34:59 Speaker 3: Star Trek for Star Trek. Anytime anybody's in a red shirt on Star Trek, you know you're dead because you're not one of the main casts. So if somebody had just from wardrobe and been like, we just need to put him in a red shirt, it's the only joke that was missed in the entire episode because it would have been I. 00:35:14 Speaker 4: Don't know that Julie Yang was a big Star Trek person, but we don't know she wasn't either, that's true. She could have been Yeah. 00:35:21 Speaker 3: Okay, so very quick tangent. 00:35:23 Speaker 4: Yeah. 00:35:24 Speaker 3: Do either of you have a show that when you were growing up, did a freaky episode that scarred you or that you remember going like, wow, wasn't expecting that that kind of changed my life? 00:35:35 Speaker 1: No? Nothing, No, I mean I never really watched that much, so I have this vague memory. I have no idea what this is. Maybe you know, will there was like a puppet special. Do you remember there's actually a famous eighties music video. I think it's a Phil Collins video where they use puppets and yeah, kind of creepy. 00:35:52 Speaker 3: Yeah they did. 00:35:53 Speaker 1: I think it was the same people that did that did a like TV night special that was like it was like all these references to other movies all combined, and it was horrifying to me as a kid, because I thought it was like a puppet show, like and I know how old. I was probably like six or seven, and I just remember it was like all these references to like old horror movies, and I just remember being terrified. 00:36:15 Speaker 3: I know what it is. 00:36:16 Speaker 1: Anybody knows what I'm talking about. I think it might have been an English show, not an American show, but it aired on television. I was at my grandmother's house so I could watch TV there, and I just remember thinking, oh, it's gonna be puppets, this is great, and being so disturbed and I mean nightmares for weeks. So but I had no idea what it was. 00:36:33 Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, you as an X Files fan, there wasn't an episode of X Files that likely. 00:36:39 Speaker 4: I was a teenager at that point and I didn't really watch a bunch of TV when I was a little kid, Like I have memories of watching Sesame Street, but I don't really remember other childhood shows. 00:36:51 Speaker 3: It was the eighties. Early eighties used to do that a lot. Like you know, Michael J. Fox's best friend dies on Family Ties. That was a really freaky episode. So Tom Hanks is on Family Ties and throws Alex down. He's an uncle who's drunk. I mean, there's some episodes that like stick with you after all these years, and I think for a generation of kids, this was it for them. I mean, this person that really mess them up. I love that. 00:37:25 Speaker 4: So we're back in Phoenie's classroom. Angela and to Panga are screaming now together and holding each other, which seems a bit superfluous since they've already seen the writing before the break, but I digress. Yes, Sean declares it's Phoene. Angela doesn't get it. There's blood on the chalkboard. Sean, I don't think it's because he ran out of chalk. Sewn assures them it's all fake. Phoenie's just pulling some elaborate hoaks. Kenny asks why, and Corey reminds them that Phoenie is always trying to teach them something to Pega asks what's the goal with this, and then Corey explains to pay attention or we die to Panga tells Corey he's nuts. Corey wags his finger at her. Stop attacking me. You've given up your right to attack me. Angela tells them this doesn't make any sense. Sean says it does if you've seen as many horror films as he has. This is classic. The locked door, the scary janitor, the bloody warning, and there's soon to be first victim. Any points to Kenny. 00:38:19 Speaker 1: To keep referring to when they're gonna kill Kenny. 00:38:23 Speaker 4: Kenny gasps, why me? Corey points out the obvious. Well, it's certainly not gonna be any of us. 00:38:30 Speaker 1: I remember loving that. We we just thought that was. 00:38:33 Speaker 4: The funniest We really did. We thought it was very funny. It was one of those meta jokes. We were like, right, right, we get it. 00:38:39 Speaker 1: Do you guys? Have you guys heard this term plot armor? 00:38:42 Speaker 4: No. 00:38:42 Speaker 1: I had never heard this, and India explained it to me. It's it's the concept that your your main character can't die because that the main character, So you call that plot armor. So it's like if a character is like, well, they're obviously not going to die, it's because the plot is going to protect them. And I love it, Like I actually use that term now teaching screenwriting because I'm like, yeah, be careful of plot armor. 00:39:02 Speaker 4: The group laughs along with Corey. They're the main cast. But then there's a thumping noise coming from beyond the door, but we can't see what's outside. Angela asks Sean, you're the horror film expert. What's that. Sean dramatically explains, that's the sound of our beating hearts. It signifies our heightened fear and the fact that something horrible is about to walk through that door right now. 00:39:21 Speaker 1: And now the door, the window is closed. I wanted us to close it at some point because we've already done so many. First of all, yes, and it never had a window before this episode, so it's like, yeah, we added a window and they had to take it away. 00:39:35 Speaker 4: Right when it's convenient to have a window, we have one. 00:39:38 Speaker 3: When it's not, we don't. It's also a TV hoping that the number on the door had some significance to a horror movie, like it was the room in the shining. So it was two fourteen, but there was As far as I could tell that it was just a random number they put. 00:39:52 Speaker 5: On the door. 00:39:53 Speaker 4: And then the door flies open. Jack and Eric are standing there, and Eric's holding a basketball in his best southar Our compression. Eric busts out a hottie. 00:40:02 Speaker 1: How I mean, we were just all we were just all obsessed with South Park, right was going on our writer's web, says every week we'd come in and be quoting it. 00:40:12 Speaker 4: Kenny is only named Kenny, so we could get that joke. 00:40:15 Speaker 3: Yep, absolutely correct. 00:40:17 Speaker 4: Everyone is relieved to see them. Eric explains, Jack and I had a hankering for some hoops. Missed the smell of the old John Adams locker room. You know, I love that they had to give that much explanation about. 00:40:27 Speaker 1: Why we. 00:40:30 Speaker 4: Wanted to play basketball and we had to play it here because we liked the smell. 00:40:34 Speaker 3: We passed nine different places on the way, but we needed to smell the locker room again. 00:40:40 Speaker 4: Cory worriedly asks, did you guys see Foenie out there? Jack shakes his head, Nope, not a soul. Actually it was kind of creepy to pang his eyes widen as she rushes to ask questions why creepy? Why'd you say creepy? Why creepy? Jack is confused. I think it has something to do with that janitor. Sean gasps, I knew it. Jack explains. Once they finished playing basketball, they went to the locker rooms to change. That's where they saw the janitor pushing his bin and emptying the waste baskets. Topeka's not sold. Well, that's not so creepy. Eric casually adds, oh, and there was blood coming out of the showers. To Pega lets out an exaggerated gasp of horror. Corey, completely ignoring the details, asks how is the pressure, Eric admits, really good, got all the soap out of my hair. So funny, blood in the showers. This is straight out of that horror film classic Blood in the Showers And again needed alaugh. 00:41:39 Speaker 3: It's so funny, but. 00:41:40 Speaker 4: Needed a laugh anyway. Shawna tests, no, this isn't the janitor. This is the work of a diabolical master villain. Corey quickly asks feene. Sean nods, absolutely Feene. I just feel so bad that Kenny asked to be the first to die. 00:42:00 Speaker 3: Oh god, my god, it's so good. 00:42:04 Speaker 4: Kenny defeatedly responds, I really wish you'd stop saying that. Corey breaks it down. I think he knows we're too old for detention to scare us, so he's turned the school into a total chamber of horrors. Kenny assures them that doesn't scare me. Nothing scares me. Then he turns to Sean and Topanga doesn't belong to your best friend Corey anymore, and if I want to borrow a pencil from her, I will, And what are you gonna do about it? Then a mysterious black glove reaches around the doorway and turns off the light. Now in complete darkness, everyone screams. Sean turns the lights back on. Eric is holding Jack like a little baby. Jack asks, have you put on a little wait since the last time you were scared that you've jumped into his arms many times? 00:42:43 Speaker 3: Of course, of course. 00:42:46 Speaker 4: Eric nods yeah a little. Then Angela lets out a terrifying shriek. Sean tries to tell her you scream when the lights go off. Doing it when the lights are on takes the effect away. She screams again, and Sean says, well, now you're just being loud then see what she's pointing at. It's Kenny with the giant pencil plunged through his forehead. Kenny's body slumps to the floor. As he falls down, the pencil marks a line on the wall behind him. Everyone watches in horror, and Corey makes his way over to the wall. He puts his finger on the highest pencil mark and eulogizes, We'll always remember he was that tall. 00:43:20 Speaker 1: It's it's okay. So I was watching with Alex who loves horror films and have never seen this episode. I've never heard her. 00:43:26 Speaker 4: Laugh harder really that she didn't know it existed. 00:43:29 Speaker 1: Before that, like I'll always know he was this tall. She just could not stop. That was like I wanted to do so clever, and I was just waiting for it, and it's like, oh my god, because you were like what how and then they make I mean, is. 00:43:44 Speaker 4: It possible that this is the most perfectly crafted joke in all of Boy Meets World? 00:43:50 Speaker 1: Yes, I think it's the funniest. 00:43:51 Speaker 3: It's I could argue that it's one of the best sitcom jokes. 00:43:56 Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, it's soul perfect. 00:44:00 Speaker 3: Yeah it is. I mean, literally, it's up there with anything on Seinfelder friends or all in the family or any This is a perfect I think, like I have other favorite jokes that we've covered on the show, but like in the like beyond my personal opinion. 00:44:15 Speaker 4: Correct of course, this is just a perfect. 00:44:16 Speaker 1: Joke, like this is there's yeah, I think. 00:44:18 Speaker 3: It's it's there's a few of those in this episode. Yes, I'll get it, as you. 00:44:22 Speaker 4: Can get dying. 00:44:24 Speaker 3: As another perfect joke. Yeah. So yeah, this this episode was on just a different level. It's yeah, it was great, just so good. 00:44:32 Speaker 4: Eric screams, keeping the south Park theme alive. Oh my gosh, they killed Kenny. This throws everyone to go to extreme chaos, running out into the hallway screaming at the top of their lungs. The lights flicker, and an old timey tune plays over the loudspeaker. Welcome to John Adams High where you are going to die and it's so great. 00:44:52 Speaker 3: Yeah, we I can't remember they we didn't have the songs playing for us, right, they were like and then the song plays, but we didn't actually think so hear what the song was, and well none of us are talking, so we could have played it, but I can't remember. They hadn't recorded I didn't. 00:45:08 Speaker 1: Heard this song, like, yeah, yeah, I don't think we. 00:45:10 Speaker 3: I can't remember if they played or if they played something for us, or. 00:45:13 Speaker 4: They might have played something. Yeah, I don't. I don't remember it in the moment, but they could have. It would have been great had we. I mean, but the light's going off and the way it shot, all of it feeling so out of character is really really fun. 00:45:27 Speaker 3: Kind of keeping it like the twenties, Grab a knife, grab it like it's yeah, super creepy. 00:45:32 Speaker 4: While everyone stumbles around, Sean critiques Feoene so low budget. Tapangas tell Sean to wake up. This could not be mister Feoene. Sean questions her theory, So what then there's some psycho killer on the loose. Just then Eric lets out a gut wrenching scream. Oh my god. Everyone jumps. 00:45:48 Speaker 3: What is it? 00:45:49 Speaker 4: Eric shouts, my basketball's gone to Jack walks up behind him. No it's not I got it. Eric happily takes the ball from him, caresses it to Pega shouts, I don't care who's behind this. I'm scared. Can we please get out of here? Sean reminds her, of course, we can't get out of here. Phoene is the only one with keys to all the doors, and they're all locked and chained by now everyone. 00:46:14 Speaker 1: Okay, well we. 00:46:15 Speaker 3: Also got it on door. 00:46:16 Speaker 1: Yeah, I know, how did we get out? 00:46:18 Speaker 3: Eric and Jack opened it? 00:46:19 Speaker 1: They could open it from the outside. 00:46:21 Speaker 3: From the outside, apparently, yes. 00:46:24 Speaker 4: Maybe they. 00:46:29 Speaker 3: Dream romp, which is a different kind of romp. 00:46:32 Speaker 4: Everyone bolts to the nearest doors. We get shots of them sprinting through a few hallways until they get to the doors, which yes, are locked. They pound on them and scream for help. We cut to Sean you gause remember that exterior door. 00:46:45 Speaker 3: No, no, I didn't. 00:46:46 Speaker 1: Remember ever, like where we set that up and then we only use it for that one shot. 00:46:50 Speaker 3: But yeah, and screen you can tell I yell. I obviously have a scripted line, and I yell it over all the screaming, really, which is yeah, so I I because I rewound it. I was like, what am I saying? And it's me going like, damnit, he's right. 00:47:05 Speaker 1: You sing everything because you're sitting back like everything's gonna. 00:47:08 Speaker 3: Relocked, And there's Eric going damnit, he's right. But you can't cure it over all the yelling. So they set up that entire shot just for the entire door, just for that one shot. 00:47:16 Speaker 4: Yeah, we'll have to ask you. We cut to Sean nonchalantly strolling in the hallway. Why won't you believe me? It's all so predictable? Jack asks, If so, then what's gonna happen next? Sean gives the script. First, There'll be some strange shrouded figure creeping behind us that none of us will see. They all quickly turn around to check for a figure, and while their backs are turned, a person dressed in all black wearing a skeleton mask darts past them. 00:47:38 Speaker 1: A great jump scare. 00:47:39 Speaker 4: It's a great jump scare right in front of camera, which is so good they don't see it. Sean continues. Then the lights will flicker and Feenie will pop up and reveal his master planned to us on cue. The lights flicker and the scary old timy music plays again. Here's a knife, here's a gun. They'll be fun for everyone. Death is on the menu tonight cakes. And then Phoenie does appear in the hallway. Everyone's mood lightens. Corey chuckles. I have got to hand it to you, Phoene, you have really outdone yourself this time. I mean killing Kenny obvious choice, but the pencil, George. 00:48:13 Speaker 3: That was genius of calling him George too, I know George. 00:48:18 Speaker 4: Also continuing with our theory of Phoenie and the dead bodies in the. 00:48:24 Speaker 3: Yard, I was thinking the same thing. 00:48:27 Speaker 4: Phoene hasn't even blinked, standing there motionless, Sean reveals, I knew it was you all along. What's the big lesson? What were you trying to teach us? He playfully smacks the Phoenie on his back, causing their teacher to dramatically fall to the ground. 00:48:40 Speaker 3: And do you remember Bill doing this? He did every take. He slammed on to his knees, every single take, pads but it was still every take straight down and then straight down to his hand. I remember he done it five times. 00:48:52 Speaker 4: Yeah, unbelievable the professional that man is and was. 00:48:56 Speaker 1: Yep. 00:48:57 Speaker 4: He lands on the floor, face first, revealing a pair of scissors stabbed into his back. Eric shrieks, oh my gosh, they killed Feannie. They all run away, screaming bloody murder. Sean stays behind, staring at Feenie in horror. He was wrong. So we have a dead Feoenie going into commercial break too. I'll call that also A suspends, spends, Will commercial right, and then we're in John Adam's High continuing to Panga's pacing. Phoene's dead. Mister Feoenie is dead. Corey's panicked. Phoene can't die. How can Feenie die? Sean states he was the first suspect. It's my fault. The second I suspected him. I signed his death warrant. Angela shouts, is any one of us safe? Sean nods, yeah, virgins, Virgins never die. Cory smiles and whispers to Topanga, Oh right, thanks for saving me. Eric declares I'm dead. Jack shrugs I'm dead. Sean admits I'll get as sick as you can get without actually dying. Love it so much. Angela wonders, what about Phoenie. He's dead. Eric and Sean smirk and start to dance. 00:50:04 Speaker 6: Go Feenie, sixty year old man. 00:50:13 Speaker 3: We're just realizing he's had sex at this point, but that was you and I. Then when we stop, both of us look down. 00:50:23 Speaker 4: Corey interrupts them, and we get a weird small mistake in the upper left of the camera shot, and Will looks like he's gonna Breaky yells okay, listen as happy as I am for Feenie. I am scared to death here. Okay, what do we do? Sean nods, let's calmly recap. Eric bluntly screams, Kenny's dead, Phoene's dead. We're trapped inside with the killer. Jack chimes in, we have to figure out who the killer is. Angela suggests that they should split up, but Sean cuts her off right away. Wrong, Angela, siye, Okay, we'll just stay right here and we'll all be fine. Then spooky music returns, and a squeaking noise is heard behind beyond the door. Sean beggs, don't say it. Corey doesn't listen. 00:50:59 Speaker 3: The janitors the killer. 00:51:00 Speaker 4: Sean's sighs, and that's. 00:51:02 Speaker 3: The end of the That's the end of the genus. 00:51:05 Speaker 4: So funny. Corey tells him to stop being crazy to Pega agrees Sean was wrong about Foenie, and he's wrong about this. Sean blurts out, and you were wrong to break up with Corey. The Penga's taken aback. What does that have to do with anything? Sean asks if any of this happened when the two of them were together. Pega says no, and Sean simply states, you've killed us, You've killed us all. 00:51:26 Speaker 3: Me Yeah, Merka your fault, your fault. 00:51:30 Speaker 4: Pega killed now, Corey. 00:51:33 Speaker 3: Yeah, you you your fault and your boyfriend didn't didn't cheat on you, and then. 00:51:39 Speaker 4: There were repercussions for that action. But so that means it my fault, not his fault. I just want to follow along and make sure we all that's one measure. Don't don't want to let it go exactly quite so easily. Eric jumps in Sean is overreacting. There's only two people that are horribly dead, and that isn't accept loss. 00:52:04 Speaker 3: Then the squeaking begins again. 00:52:06 Speaker 4: Angela screams, Oh my god, he's coming, He's coming for us all. They scramble out the door and back out into the hallway. They see the janitor's been moving along, but there's no janitor. Angela points screaming at the top of her lungs. Once again, Jack and myers, you know you really are very good at that. Angela thanks him for the compliment. Sean gives his brother a look of annoy. She's getting great. 00:52:27 Speaker 1: Because to scream and not like ruin your throat would also still sound like an emotion, and she does it, yes, every times over and every time. You're like, god, she's good. 00:52:38 Speaker 4: That means she did it every time for every take, Like. 00:52:42 Speaker 3: Yeah, she probably screamed fifty times. Yeah. 00:52:44 Speaker 4: Correct, she's screaming. 00:52:46 Speaker 1: For two She's right. 00:52:48 Speaker 4: Imagine it's hard to even breathe when you're pregnant. Much'll scream. Corey wonders where the janitor is, and Eric guesses he's on his way, but Sean disagrees. He asks Angela, you're sick of screaming. She says yes, so Sean warns Aer, then don't look in here. Everyone else gathers around the bin and shrieks. Corey shouts, there's like fifteen retainers in there. 00:53:11 Speaker 1: Such a good line. 00:53:13 Speaker 4: I had a retainer. I never had braces as a kid, but I did have a retainer. I had two. I had a space over here and a face over here, and I had to wear a retainer. And I threw it in the garbage. 00:53:21 Speaker 1: I don't know you would wrap it in a napkin right now. 00:53:24 Speaker 4: No, I had my retainer, my retainer container, but I would then I would take it out to eat my lunch, put it in its container and then put that container in my paper sacks, so it wasn't just like sitting on the table. But then when I was done with my lunch, I would ball up the paper sack. 00:53:38 Speaker 1: And yeah, always go through the trash looking for a retainer. 00:53:42 Speaker 4: Yeah. Absolutely they were expensive too, I know my mom. My mom was like, we are not getting another retainer. You'll dig through that trash. It shouldn't sound anything like that, but should we have retainer container. It's like the Geneva detention convention, the retainer can, Sewan adds, and this he pulls out the janitor dead. They all look to Angela and she realizes, oh me okay, and proceeds to let out a shrilling scream. Sean pushes the squeaky bin away and Eric realizes, wait a second, the killer's dead. We're off the hook up top. He looks for a high five, but everyone leaves him hanging. Jack admits, I don't get it. It had to be the janitor. Corey ads, there's nobody else in here, is there. They all turn around to check, but they see nothing. But once they've turned back around, the skeleton man runs by again, undetected. Depega asks Sean to explain this, he responds easy. The death of the Janitor signifies the end of the Last Obvious Suspects, just like in the cult classic The Last of the Obvious Suspects. Angela puts two and two together. That would mean Eric interrupts with a dundun du Cory looks around. The killer is one of us? Sean agrees, like in The. 00:54:55 Speaker 1: Killer one, Hito, Oh boy, it the movie is the line that we just said, that's four times. 00:55:03 Speaker 4: We do listen if it's funny one time, it's funny. 00:55:06 Speaker 1: Seventy, it's funny times. Because of the dune, Dunn finally helps it. 00:55:11 Speaker 4: Yeah you had a button. Yes, Eric hadds another Dune dundune and to Panga snaps at him and off. Already Sean looks at her with suspicion. Why do we upset you? 00:55:22 Speaker 1: And this is where we just could not keep it together. 00:55:24 Speaker 4: But this is so good, it's so funny and by the way I know we are we are. We have already talked about Ben being hysterical and the way he says enough to kill but writer you the way you deliver, why do we upset you? 00:55:42 Speaker 3: Do we upset you? 00:55:44 Speaker 4: So funny, so funny. It just the minute you started. I was like, I can feel myself, I can feel I can feel it. 00:55:51 Speaker 3: I couldn't feel it already. 00:55:53 Speaker 1: Yeah, but the murderer was what sent me over night because I I didn't remember that he actually did it in the episode. That's the kind of crap that Ben would do all the time. Yes, and I remembered it. Oh yeah. 00:56:09 Speaker 4: Cory narrows his eyes, upset you enough to kill? Eric adds a dramatic but it doesn't land well and he promises he's done. Corey announces we need to face it. Everybody one of us is a crazy, psychopathic said in a French accent, murdering. 00:56:30 Speaker 3: I'm starting to realize this is why this episode is so funny, not just to us, but why it's so natural when we look so good. It's because, for some reason this week, the stuff we used to do during only rehearsal for each other, we decided to do for the show. 00:56:46 Speaker 1: Yeah. 00:56:47 Speaker 3: So if it makes you wonder what the other episodes would have been like had we when we're screwing around during this rehearsal unhinged as we did, if we just did that, because we would do that all the time, trying to make each other laugh doing whatever. This entire episode was just. 00:57:00 Speaker 4: One moment of those after another, of the. 00:57:02 Speaker 5: Rehearsal, like it was great, oh so funny. 00:57:17 Speaker 4: The question is which one of us is it? Everyone stares at one another suspiciously, except Eric, who is the king? 00:57:24 Speaker 1: You guys, remember how many times we had to do this? 00:57:26 Speaker 3: This is the this is. 00:57:32 Speaker 1: He lost it in the library. This is just we couldn't I think if I remember, he was yelling in the library, Oh it was here, it was there where he wanted to get. Yes, he wanted to get the single shots. 00:57:42 Speaker 4: And we couldn't look at we couldn't do it. We would all we would all look at each other to know when okay, So the camera was right in front of us, and then we would look at each other as they were, as we were each making our faces to camera, and it would send us all into hysterics. So then it was like stop looking at it, just look straight ahead. But then we could feel it happening, and we could feel the camera coming to us, and then it was like we we literally had done it so many times and we couldn't stop laughing, and they couldn't get the shots that we needed, and. 00:58:12 Speaker 1: I don't think they ever got them because I think it didn't do it and started isolated to twos because they couldn't. 00:58:21 Speaker 3: Yes, we couldn't do it. 00:58:23 Speaker 4: And Jeff, I mean, I don't even remember exactly what he said, but I do remember I'm leaving. Let me know when you guys are ready to do your jobs. That's like the one thing I remember. And it was very loud, and he's an intimidatingly tall man. And then he took his big, long strides out of the set and the minute he was around the corner, I think I heard the door either like open or slam, one of the two, and then just went just because we couldn't. It was just and then and then he yelled and it was like, oh, we really made him mad. I'm never seeing Yeah, I think he's mad. 00:59:01 Speaker 3: I think he's mad. If it's also anybody who's experienced this, Once the giggles. 00:59:07 Speaker 4: Start and then they. 00:59:09 Speaker 3: Just they get bigger and bigger, and you can't stop them. It's like trying to stop a sneeze. Yeah, you just you can't do it. It's impossible. 00:59:16 Speaker 4: And well we had to separate. Remember that is finally what we had to do. We all had to go to different parts of the set. Yeah, we literally had to go and like take five away from each other. 00:59:24 Speaker 1: Oh god, it's so funny. 00:59:27 Speaker 3: Those are the moments I miss most. Those are the moments of doing the show, or. 00:59:30 Speaker 4: Jess like, maybe maybe the worst moment of his life directing us is the moments you missed the most. 00:59:34 Speaker 3: Yes, it's sure, just giggle, moments of just you can't stop it and oh god, there's so much fun. 00:59:41 Speaker 4: Well, what are you doing here? 00:59:43 Speaker 6: Are you like licking your thumb and are talking to my thumb? And weird to Panga breaks the tension. 00:59:53 Speaker 4: None of us is a killer. There has to be someone else in here, and there has to be another way out. Somebody has to find a way out. Eric volunteers, fine, and I'll do it. I'm the oldest. Jack corrects him, Actually I'm the oldest. Eric responds, yeah, but I've lived the longest. Jack size, Fine, you can go, Eric asks, what now. Corey explains that he needs to stay in the hall all by himself, and Eric's pumped. Then everyone walks back into the classroom and Eric slowly realizes the terrifying task at hand. He starts to sing to himself. 01:00:21 Speaker 1: This, of course not I know, but but I get it. Nothing makes sense. But like Sean has been driving all the decisions, and yet Sean has nothing to do with this decision like it should have been, you know, because I don't know. It was just I was like, oh, we just needed Will to be alone, so love come into the episode pretty much. Yeah, and it's like pretty much. I think we could have done a little bit more work with figuring that out, because that's all we needed is you to be alone in the hallway for her, for you to pounce on her and start kicking out with her, which is way intense. 01:00:55 Speaker 4: Even like how none of us thought. We know that they are a couple in real real life, but if you still make that. As far as the. 01:01:05 Speaker 3: Show, I don't remember it going that far. I was like, oh my god, nice to meet you. And then and also then just like kiss and all that kind of stuff. It was seriously like, wow, that's uncomfortable. 01:01:19 Speaker 1: Yeah, that's the only part of this episode. I'd be like, guys, really, don't do That's really not cool. And I don't know why we all thought it was cool, Like why because we knew we were. 01:01:28 Speaker 3: Dating and it was funny because it was like, oh my god. Then they just start making out in the holidays. 01:01:33 Speaker 1: Assume that our audience would know that you guys are dating now, you couldn't do that. 01:01:37 Speaker 3: It was super intense, and I've had people even say to me like, oh, I didn't when I was a kid, I didn't realize you guys were together. So it was just like, what the hell is going on? 01:01:47 Speaker 1: Eric, just like macing on some Oh my god, and I. 01:01:49 Speaker 3: Mean like it's full on making That is the most intense makeout we have on the seven years of the show. Is right there in the hallway, then kissing her neck while she's trying to talk and all this like we haven't even said our names yet. It's intense. 01:02:03 Speaker 4: It's intense, Yeah, for sure. He starts to sing to himself, Dun Dun dun and paces the hallway. Then he runs into a stranger. It's movie star Jennifer love you it. He starts screaming in her face, killer Keller, you're the killer. And I know you're gonna tell me you're not the killer because you're beautiful and you think I'm gonna believe you, but I'm not. This is like that movie killer killer. You're the killer and I know Josh, just keep doing it now you give it to someone else. No, my go She cuts him off. I'm not the killer. Eric is convinced I believe you, and he leans in for a passionate kiss. They start to make out, and as Eric kisses her neck, she explains, I'm a new student here and I was in study hall and I got locked in and I was frightened. Wow, you're very friendly, aren't you. Eric pulls away. I'm friendly enough to keep you safe from the bad, bad killer man. He introduces himself, and she returns the gesture. Her name is Jennifer Loveferman. 01:02:56 Speaker 3: Great, I call you Fefy. 01:02:59 Speaker 4: Eric memes, that's a beautiful name. Can I call you Feffi? She smiles. Everybody does. Then the two go back to making out. The others stand in the doorway watching Eric and Feffi. Jack admits she doesn't look like the killer, and Corey agrees, but he's not too sure about Eric. Sean reminds him, it's always the one you think can't be the killer. Corey to Panga and Angela walk out into the hallway and tell Feffe she can hang out with them. To Panga assures them if they all stay together, they'll be safe. Then the payphone rings and Feffi lets out an extremely high pitched scream. Angela is not pleased, and Trina's face that she gives her a ripe when she gives her that luck of like how dare you so good? And she lets out a scream of her own. She's the screamer around here. The phone rings and Jack answers The man on the other line, and his scream impersonation asks do you like scary movies? What's your favorite? Jack's aloof okay, Well, I like the one about I like the one with the hotty Hot hot from Party of five, Feffi asks Nev Campbell Eric's sideyes, duh. Corey feels saved. He realizes we can use the phone to help us. Eric agrees and snatches the phone out of Jack's hand. When we find out who the killer is, we can hit him with this, and then he detaches the phone from the wall. 01:04:12 Speaker 3: But even though it is a makeout session makes Eric strong. 01:04:19 Speaker 4: Everybody knows that everybody knows it's rum. The phone is still ringing, so Eric answers it. He tells the group it's the killer. He motions that the killer is rambling on, and. 01:04:32 Speaker 1: Now we can't hear the killer. My brain was like, wait, I thought we were gonna get this is also so writer. 01:04:38 Speaker 3: You and I were just talking about him, my friend George Wong, who wrote and directed a great film called Swimming with Sharks. There's a scene where Frank Whaley's character is listening to another producer rambling on and I'm just doing straight up Frank Whaley's Yeah. He's going like, oh, like all the all the responses that I do are all straight from Swimming with Sharks. So I called George afterwards, like, George, that was for you. Yeah, it's a straight steal of Frank Whyley and Swimming a Sharks. 01:05:04 Speaker 4: Corey asks what he said? Was he mad there? 01:05:08 Speaker 1: But it's not as like he was doing it bigger during rehearsal jur rehearsal, he would go was he mad? 01:05:15 Speaker 4: Was he mad? Eric calmly tells the group he said what all killers say. He wants to come here. He wants to kill us. He wants us to wait right. 01:05:23 Speaker 3: Here with this news. 01:05:24 Speaker 4: They all run away at top speed, but Eric returns the phone back to its rightful place and checks for change that I remember that yet, And then we're in the dark library. Sean opens the door and the rest of the group creep in behind him. We get another perspective shot of someone standing behind a bookcase, looking directly at Sean and breathing heavily. To Panga whispers to Angela, I don't trust this Jennifer love Fefferman anymore than I can throw her. Angela agrees we don't know anything about her. Eric is tiptoeing through the room and asks Jack when did this place get a library? Jack sarcastically responds, every day is a new adventure. Sean makes an announcement, as much as this goes against my horror movie instincts, I think we should split up. That way, the killer can't get to us all at once. Everyone separates into various parts of the library. Corey and Feffe are together, and he admits, I don't understand why anyone would do this to us. I mean, we're good kids. Topanga dramatically walks past the two of them with her eyes narrowed. 01:06:27 Speaker 3: Very it's a great walk. 01:06:29 Speaker 4: By FEFI tells Cory, we're all scared, but you know what, don't worry we're going to get out of this, and she gives him a little peck on the cheek, which no one ever in my life ever has pecked someone on the cheek to comfort a friend, like. 01:06:47 Speaker 3: After putting their hand. If you know this. She doesn't even put her hands on like I paused it. She doesn't put her hands on his arms. She puts her hands on his waist like that's so, and then kisses his chee. It's like, ooh, that was a whole weird. SU have been friends with many of people. 01:07:02 Speaker 4: I have given hugs to people the second I've met them. There's a lot of things that some people probably that I've done that some people probably don't do. But like, I have never once been like, oh, come here. 01:07:15 Speaker 3: Someone on the cheek. Does it to comfort them? It doesn't do. 01:07:19 Speaker 6: It never happened once in my entire forty three years. 01:07:27 Speaker 4: But I guess I'm the cheek. Then we've done it. 01:07:30 Speaker 2: Now. 01:07:30 Speaker 4: Sean Kissedapanga on the mouth. Yes, that's very strange. The boy means world universe does things where it's like, oh, that doesn't mean anything. 01:07:40 Speaker 3: It was totally benign, and yet you're like, but why was it done? At all, and were we doing. 01:07:45 Speaker 4: That at all? 01:07:46 Speaker 3: Yeah, I think we should make it a thing strangers after putting our hands on their waist. 01:07:52 Speaker 4: I'll let Susan know the next time we're on a plane together and the plane takes off and you're scared, I'm just gonna lean over and gole it's gonna be okay. 01:07:58 Speaker 3: Well to the lift. It's totally normal. Every morning, I'm just going to give you a good morning shoulder kiss, just fuck you. 01:08:10 Speaker 4: To know you and I haven't seen you since the night before. 01:08:13 Speaker 3: Exactly. That's the new normal people, Oh my gosh. 01:08:18 Speaker 4: Okay. Then she walks a couple of steps away and the books above her begin to shift. They fall onto her from the top shelf and she collapses. Man books, Yes, writer, Favorite Way to Go. 01:08:33 Speaker 1: I love it. There's like four of them to kill you. 01:08:36 Speaker 3: Of course, so exactly. Well, so I remember there's a story here where Michael told me later that he claims that the reason he brought love on was because I went to him. He and I were talking and I said, oh, yeah, no, we're going to be together forever, and He's like, I knew you weren't going to be so I wanted to bring her on and kill her right in front of you, so you'd see that this is what swear to God, what he told me, I'm going to bring around and kill he right in front of you, so you'd see that this was just kind of another relationship that you know. I knew as an adult that you weren't going to be together forever. So I brought her on and I killed her. I'll never forget that conversation, was like to say, weird yep, So it's like, I brought her on so I can kill her. I used our fictional show to teach you a lesson about your life. That is, yes, that you're in and it's the most Michael Jacobs story I've ever how about this though? How about also the contradiction of knowing we'd never be together, where Corey to Panger is supposed to be together for the rest of their lives, so strange. I will never forget that I brought around so I could kill her. 01:09:45 Speaker 4: When did he tell you? 01:09:45 Speaker 3: That? 01:09:45 Speaker 4: Was that during girl? 01:09:47 Speaker 3: No? 01:09:48 Speaker 1: No, no, no? 01:09:48 Speaker 3: This was this was shortly after she and I broke up. Oh yeah, this is he probably told me, because I think this was right towards the end of my relationship with love. I believe we weren't together too much longer after the scream episode, maybe another six months if that. And because he killed her in front of you, and that's. 01:10:09 Speaker 1: To get out of that. 01:10:10 Speaker 3: Believe that that's why he's That's why I brought her onto killer because I know and I'm like, okay, this is. 01:10:15 Speaker 1: The self serving logic. 01:10:17 Speaker 4: Yes, okay, wow, Well, the man in the skeleton mask is shown as the culprit he did it. She sprawled out on the floor with books surrounding her. Eric screams and horror. Fefe, I'll save you, He rushes to her side, but she weakly tells him, no, it's too late. But I think I know who the killer is. He protests, Oh, save your breath, Fefe. There will be plenty of time for that later. She reminds him that she's dying. Oh yes, then he'll take that information now, And just as Fefi is about to tell him who the killer is, another stack of books falls onto the two of them. It's instant death for both. Books are killers. 01:10:55 Speaker 3: We can kill you. And then Matt Lawrence is the ultimate Matt. Laura's here. 01:11:00 Speaker 1: It's the greatest straight up Matt Lawrence. 01:11:03 Speaker 4: Jack is extremely distraught. He's lost his friend and his roommate. 01:11:08 Speaker 3: But he didn't really know Feffe. 01:11:09 Speaker 4: That's it's like a call. 01:11:13 Speaker 1: Back to the tapangle line. 01:11:15 Speaker 3: It's not the same joke, but he's got that whole. 01:11:20 Speaker 4: I didn't really know her. 01:11:21 Speaker 3: I didn't really know her. 01:11:22 Speaker 1: None of this makes that he has no reference to Sean. He says he was my roommate. Half the wrench, and I went, who's. 01:11:30 Speaker 3: Paid should on? 01:11:32 Speaker 4: I did think until it comes back around and and Trina's Angela reminds him and brings it up. I did think, Oh, there's our answer. Jack is paying Sean to be able to live there, as like I don't know, to make up. 01:11:48 Speaker 1: For it that Eric would be paying a third, not fifty, which is what. 01:11:51 Speaker 4: He knows Jack. 01:11:53 Speaker 3: Jack would be paying to. 01:11:55 Speaker 4: H And I know unless he's not part two roommates, there's only two of us. There's a third person living here, but he isn't count I only have to pay. 01:12:07 Speaker 1: Also my brother. It's it's so bizarre, this whole. 01:12:12 Speaker 3: We were just killed by books. 01:12:13 Speaker 1: I understand. 01:12:16 Speaker 4: To be two thirds to the one third, and. 01:12:21 Speaker 3: It's just about the rent. 01:12:25 Speaker 4: Jack realizes that Eric paid for half the rent of their apartment. Now we won't be able to afford to live there anymore, he declares. If I can't afford to live there, then I don't want to live. And that is an unhealthy attachment to your place. It is fyn If you or someone you know that's your apartment that much, please get home, or if. 01:12:42 Speaker 1: Someone you know is killed by books, don't take it to heart. 01:12:46 Speaker 4: He runs to the library's window and makes his way out onto the ledge. Angela quickly follows and tells him to wait, Sean is still your roommate. Together, you can make the rent. Jack realizes she's right. He's relieved. They should head back inside now, but as they turn to go back in, the skeleton man gives them both a push and they fall off the ledge. 01:13:04 Speaker 3: She goes out on the ledge after him. Yes, not just through the window like, no, you're also would. 01:13:10 Speaker 4: Be two thirds. 01:13:11 Speaker 3: It'd be two thirds. 01:13:13 Speaker 4: It wouldn't be wouldn't be half. It would be right, It would very honestly, it would. He'd be paying two thirds. 01:13:20 Speaker 3: Right, but the pencil is supposed to be that big. Well, we'll remember he's this tall. 01:13:24 Speaker 4: So now, with nowhere to go, the skeleton is face to face with Corey, Sean, and Topanga. Sean tells his friends, I know I was wrong before, but I really really think this guy is the killer. Corey shouts at the anonymous figure, why are you doing this to us? He grabs Corey into Panga's hands and places them together. The killer just wanted them to be a couple again. Sean approaches the skeleton and unmasks him. We see the killer from behind, and it sure looks like it's Sean himself. Sean stares at his face in horror. We start to fade out and we find ourselves back in Poene's classroom. But before we get there, you think this is the scene where Jeff yelled at us because we couldn't keep it together, staring at our background actor that we had. 01:14:09 Speaker 1: Our actor who was who was not? We were laughing on his coverage, and Jeff was unfortunately. 01:14:16 Speaker 4: Yelling the background actor we wasn't taking it out on us, which he should have been. 01:14:21 Speaker 1: We felt so bad because this poor guy who had no lines and had been running around all week as the killer. Yeah, it sucked, that's what I remember. 01:14:30 Speaker 4: Well, yes, I remember that too, But and this of all the times where we've joked that we were being unprofessional. This was the worst because there was no way he the background actor whose name we do not remember, and we've asked now, also, if you are that background actor or you know that background actor, will you please reach out to us, because boy, we would love to talk to. 01:14:55 Speaker 6: You and apologize. 01:14:59 Speaker 2: Oh God, so Phoene's classroom. 01:15:12 Speaker 4: We're back in reality. Corey is trying to wake up Sean from a dream. Finally, I'm right. Finally Sean comes too and looks around. Everything's back to normal. Corey tells him that he fell asleep. He says, Phoenie looks like he's gonna kill him, and we see Phoenie at his desk utterly unamused, Sean corrects Corey, No, he's not the killer. I am. Corey's confused what. Sean tells mister Feenie to let everyone else go. It's not their fault they're here, it's Sean's. Phoene asks how he figured that. Well, Corey and Panga aren't together anymore. Phoenie nods, yes, I know, I too read team beat mister hunter. Sean goes on, I've been taking it really hard and I'm sorry, I disrupted the class and killed everybody, But I think I know why I did it, Phoene asks him. 01:16:00 Speaker 3: Tell. 01:16:00 Speaker 4: Sean turns to Corey into Panga. You guys have been together since before I even knew you. 01:16:06 Speaker 1: No, No, we all met together. Pen well, no, and the Lama. 01:16:13 Speaker 3: Pen doesn't he say this is the wife? So yeah, no, they're supposed to have been according to Lama Pen history, right, they're supposed to have been together when they met Sean. 01:16:24 Speaker 4: That's right, all right, okay, all right, And if you're not, then I guess I feel like there's nothing I can depend on, and it really makes me angry that there's nothing I can do to fix that. 01:16:35 Speaker 1: Parents. 01:16:37 Speaker 3: This has nothing relationship. 01:16:42 Speaker 4: Cory iss, sure, Sean, he's not responsible for this. To Panga chimes in, this isn't your fault. Phoene tells him, something bad happened, but for the very first time, you're not responsible. 01:16:54 Speaker 3: The very otherwise, as you didn't do this one thing. What yeah, what is happening? 01:17:03 Speaker 4: Because it's Panga's fault, it's a romp. Sean questions them, how come I feel so bad? Phoene explains, Well, because you're a troubled young man, I recognize that from the movie. Given everybody, Phoenie tells the detention crew that they all may go. It's obvious they've been punished enough. Everyone gets up to leave, and Phoenia follows after them. He turns off the light and closes the door. Then, once everyone is gone, we get the scary music and the skeleton appears from behind the computer monitor. He quickly sneaks out of the room into the hallway. What does that mean? 01:17:44 Speaker 1: We're still in the dream. We're still in the dream. And then it was not all a dream. It really is a killer? Is sean doppelganger? 01:17:52 Speaker 4: And then we're in the tag in Phoenie's classroom. Mister Phoenie is lecturing and Corey is back in his regular seat right behind Tapega. 01:17:58 Speaker 1: Did you guys remember this tag? 01:18:00 Speaker 3: Yeah? 01:18:00 Speaker 1: No, oh, I remember it once I started seeing but I didn't remember that it was part of this episode. It was oh really yeah, it's it's really funny. I just love it so funny, completely, like, let's just give his dream secret dream. It's so funny. 01:18:13 Speaker 4: I know. 01:18:13 Speaker 1: Did you guys tell that Bill had a cold? 01:18:15 Speaker 3: Yes? Yeah, yes, I'm like, oh, Bill has a cold? Right, now I said the same thing to Syeh, so funny. 01:18:22 Speaker 4: Mister Feoene is lecturing and Corey is back in his regular seat right behind Vega. Phoene asks the Great Society, mister Matthews. Corey proudly stands and answers Lyndon Johnson's agenda for his public policy. Sir mister Phoene, Sir, I love that in his dream we call him, Sir, mister Phoenie's. Sir Phoene shoots his next question. It's a panga Nebraska is Lawrence Tapanga swiftly stands, Gee, I don't know. You actually stumped me, Sir mister Feenie, Sir, He's ecstatic with this answer. He directs the same question to Sean Nebraska, mister Hunter. Sean stands and proudly answers the only state with the U nic cameral legislature, Sir, mister Feene. Sir Phoene gives some fist bumps for this, before directing his last question to Anne Pathagorean theorem is more. Angela stands and recites A squared plus B squared equals C squared, Sir mister Phoenie. Sir Phoene's grinning from ear to ear, Corey stands up and reveals, actually, I've written a thesis which disputes that theory. And when I accept my feelings met from Matthew, it's. 01:19:17 Speaker 3: Just like what in his dream sequence Phoene does. Teach everything. Man, I know history, government doesn't matter what it is. 01:19:25 Speaker 4: He says, I will be sure to thank you, sir, mister Phoenie. Sir. Then Corey rallies for the entire class to give it up for mister Feenie. They all give him a round of applause, and we fade out. This was also just a dream. In reality, the students are throwing crumpled up pieces of paper at one another, the classes in shambles, and Phoenie tries to corrus. 01:19:44 Speaker 1: Guys came out of the dream sequence. I could hear Ben doing his like like getting us over. He used to do the like let's be crazy. It's the kids want to jump. 01:19:52 Speaker 4: The kids want to jump. 01:19:53 Speaker 1: He's doing the kids want to jump, like tone to start us, like let's be crazy. It's I knew it. 01:19:59 Speaker 4: Oh my god. Sean Yell's back the seventy fifth State major export tortillas to Pangas sticks her arms up in the air and goes. The students continue to throw papers around the room and Poene clutches the metal scissors in his hand. Scary music plays as they zoom in on a very frustrated teacher who may bury bodies in his side slash backyard. And that is our episode. Really fun, talk about talk about it. 01:20:30 Speaker 1: We should have done this every season.
