00:00:05 Speaker 1: Hello, gorgeous, it is La La Cant Welcome back to the Give Them Laala podcast. I'm so excited because I have a freaking icon on. 00:00:13 Speaker 2: The pod today, Teresa Judaices. Do you still go by Judas too? 00:00:17 Speaker 1: Yes? 00:00:17 Speaker 3: Yes I do. 00:00:19 Speaker 2: Well, welcome to my pod. Thank you. 00:00:21 Speaker 3: I'm so excited to be on on your podcast. Thank you. 00:00:24 Speaker 1: So a lot of people said they wrote in questions which I'll ask you on the bonus, but some people were like, how did you guys become good after what you said? X, Y and Z. And I'm like, you know, you're a very I call you a gangster, Teresa, because not many women could go through what you've gone through and truly come out on top. 00:00:46 Speaker 2: And I'm not just saying that. 00:00:47 Speaker 1: I've had these conversations with people, whether I'm sitting in front of you or behind your back, no mic, no camera. I really really admire the person that you are, and I think watching your girls the true testament to who you are as a person. So I want to first say thank you for hearing me out when I when I wrote you that DM, I say things and they come across in a way that that was never my intent, and I feel like you and I bonded over that DM and you were so gracious and kind, so I just wanted to say thank you for Yeah. 00:01:21 Speaker 3: No, and then I mean, I think and then we have we use the same hairdresser, Lena, like she yes, Lena, yeah. And then and then I think Lena said, I think, you know, you maybe misunderstood Teresa or whatever. She's like, I think you guys would get along. And then so I'm glad you listened to her. And yeah, I mean, listen. We all have our perception like when we you know, when we see someone, we think the person's this way, but they're really not that way, or you hear things from other people, or maybe if you watched the show, then you think of, oh, that person's this way. But I always say never Judge always like, open up the book, read the book first, get to know the person, and then your decision, you know. 00:02:01 Speaker 1: So yes, there was a comment that someone had written in and they said, I would like to know because you know, for the outside world, they feel that they know you the ins and outs, Like it's almost like they think you're a robot who you only come to when a camera turns on and then you don't exist after that, Right, you're here strictly to entertain. They were wondering, you know, you're one way on Housewives and then a different way on House of Villains, which, by the way, people are loving House of Villains this season, so congratulations on that. 00:02:39 Speaker 2: What do you what do you. 00:02:40 Speaker 1: Attribute that to? Would you say it's production? Do you think it's your around a different group of people? Maybe a combo? 00:02:47 Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, obviously if they watch season one and season two, I think if everybody, you know, somebody made a good point. This is what they said to me. If everybody would watch Housewives, like all of the seasons currently and this time, like because now, don't forget I've been on TV seventeen years now. Yeah, so if everybody would watch the show now and watch it really about what actually happened. I mean, I did season one, Season two, it's Teresa from House of Villains. Then you get season three that all of a sudden, my family comes on the show like Lalla behind my back, like this was my first cousin and my sister in law married to my brother that I was getting along with that that at the time, listen my and then I think my brother had me listener's ear, like, I can't believe your sister's on a TV show, not putting us on it, and it's like it wasn't about them, it was about me. It was like that was my job at the time, and she kept being in my brother's ear, like saying, your sister's not putting us on TV. It wasn't about my family, and I never wanted it to be about my family. I you know, it was like it was about the man and Larita's family, like you know, it's like two sisters and a sister in law. Never in a million years, like if my brother and Melissa were on that show first, I would have never done what they did to me, Like I would have never gotten the show and like trushed our family the way they did, because now we don't speak anymore. And it's not because you know, people like look at it and obviously I don't even know. Once they came on the show, I stop watching it because if I would have watched it, the wars that would have happened in our family. I think Bravo should thank you for not watching it, because if I would have watched it, we would have never continued. So it was like better I didn't watch it because if I would have watched it, we would have never continued it. Like what happened now? Like we're not speaking, like that's it, it's done. Look we're on and now we're on pause. 00:04:45 Speaker 1: How do you feel about being on pause? Has it been a nice break? 00:04:49 Speaker 2: Well? 00:04:50 Speaker 3: We needed a change because obviously it couldn't continue the way it was going. And the reason why I'm different is because everyone's always coming for Teresa Judice. That that's why I'm always on the defense trying to defend myself because everyone's always trying to hurt me and now the person I love. 00:05:07 Speaker 1: That would be extremely hard, and I haven't. I haven't gone through. I mean, I've been through my fair share on reality TV. But I think Teresa, from my perspective, you are truly a household name now. And I think when people come onto the show and it's your house, they think if they try to dethrone you, it can then become their house. And if they come for you, they they they have a chance in their mind of making it their own house. But I think they also they're written about you know, people people like attention, whether it's negative or positive, and you're the key to the attention. 00:05:48 Speaker 3: Exactly, and everybody knows that. So you comfort Terisa. 00:05:51 Speaker 2: Everybody knows that. 00:05:52 Speaker 3: Yeah, you comfort Terisa. You get a storyline and listen, I have no like I'm still standing, you know, That's that was my my second memoir is standing strong, like so, yeah, everyone tries to dethrone me, and like they keep trying, but thank god, I'm still standing. So and like, obviously they played the game all wrong because now we are on pause and it's gotten really dirty and disgusting, and you know, so you know, I'm glad. Look, I'm sure they're kicking themselves for you know what they did. You know, Margaret's speaking to someone from Louis past, even my brother. It's like they it's like crazy. If you would know, actually the things that really happened, your mind would spin. Yeah, you know. 00:06:39 Speaker 1: And and I'm not gonna share your your story, but I have heard from other people who you know, no one has ever shared exactly, but they've said similar things to that, like if you only knew, And I'm just wondering, is there any version if if Melissa and Joe came to you and took accountability, would there ever be a gray that you guys could meet in and have at least be okay with each other. You know, you don't need to be spending holidays. 00:07:12 Speaker 2: That ship has sailed. 00:07:13 Speaker 3: Yeah, you know what, la la, because it's been over ten years and come on, it's like been so long. It's like like I just feel at peace now without them in my life. And it's like, listen, I'd rather forgive a stranger, because a stranger they're not your family. But when your own family fucks you so hard that you're like there's like no coming back from that. And it's like, I didn't think that my brother would do what he did to me, Like and it's like, here, I am so happy I meet this guy that he knew. I was so happy when I met Louie. And it's like and then I didn't even he was the one that introduced them on the show. I didn't even want to introduce Louis. I was trying to keep them on a on a down low, you know, just right. I didn't know my brother was going to do the same thing that he did with my ex to do the same day with Louie. Like I did not expect that. I even told Louis watched the show because I wanted Louis so smart and I wanted him to be aware of like what my look what my brother did in the past. So I wanted him to watch the show. And but Louis didn't. I mean, he said he watched a little bit of it, but he said he wanted to give my brother the benefit of the doubt, and he really didn't go into it like that. He didn't want to have any any perception or anything. 00:08:32 Speaker 1: I feel like that's a guy thing to do, because I would do the same thing, like I would just say, that's a show. 00:08:37 Speaker 2: I'm going to give him the benefit. 00:08:39 Speaker 3: And he did because he was my brother, you know, he's like, that's your brother. He's like, I didn't want to do that, and I'm like, but and because I see how Louis is with his sisters, he's not like that. But I'm like, my brother's not like you. I see the difference, Like Louise and the way he is with his sisters is not the way my brother is with me. 00:08:58 Speaker 1: So and it's can I ask you, do you think that if your parents were were still here that it would have gotten this bad? Or do you think that they would have been able to fix it and intervene. 00:09:10 Speaker 3: No, I mean I think if my parents were still here, like I know my dad would have loved Louis. They would have loved they would have adored Louie, like because you know, he always says he wishes he would have met my parents and I and I know my dad. I mean maybe my brothers would have kept his mouth shut and and not have done anything like that he did. And yeah, I think because you know, I think I don't know who knows I don't. I mean, look, he ruined his own son's christening. He started screaming at his son's christening. I mean that was like a shocker to us, to our whole family when he Yeah, I went up to him and I said congratulations, and then he's they like he told me to get out of his face. I was like, what, Like why do you invite me? 00:09:51 Speaker 2: Then? 00:09:51 Speaker 3: So you did that for camera? You did that, Like why did you invite me? 00:09:55 Speaker 1: Then you know, well that I mean that that would make sense. We get Teresa there, it's one hundred percent being covered if you know everyone knows. 00:10:05 Speaker 3: But imagine that's your brother, Like like I said. 00:10:08 Speaker 1: Well that, by the way, I can't imagine Teresa, because I think of me and Easton, my brother, who is obviously sitting down here, and I'm like, I'm like, I always wonder how it can get so bad, because I'm sure you didn't think it would ever be like this when you're like kicking it with your brother. 00:10:29 Speaker 2: You're single, he's single, you know. 00:10:31 Speaker 3: Together, of course we were so close. Everybody was like jealous of a relationship, how close we were, and then that's why so when like when I found out they were going to be on the show, was like, okay, what am I gonna do? Like, I mean, I wish they would have told me, because la la, I get phone calls like right now, I guess they're casting house They're looking for other housewives in Jersey, right, I'm getting phone calls like as we speak, like I just got to you know, they just reach out to me, like my own friends or even people that I don't even know, so well, let me know that casting is reaching out to them. And I'm like, oh when they ask, when they tell me, I'm like, good, look, my own family members didn't even tell me. So then when I got the phone call, I was like, all right, what am I going to do? And then imagine the first day of filming that happened at the christening, and I was just. 00:11:22 Speaker 2: Like, I truly can't even imagine. 00:11:25 Speaker 1: And you know what it's gonna it's going to take a lot to take you down. You've been through a lot of shit, like you're a fucking badass. 00:11:35 Speaker 3: And and I want to go at one more thing why I'm a badass because I walk with my head up hot, you know, like look like how my father always said, walk, go with your head up high. You have nothing to have, nothing to be ashamed of, because of course not. That's why I kind of resent my ex. Because my ex made the mistake. He's the one that didn't file taxes. And I signed one closing document for a home that he was flipping. And I should have never signed that closing document, like if I did not sign that day, and you know it was it was legit. It was in a lawyer's office. I was buying a home, but he was flipping the homes. Just by signing that one, you know, those documents for that one house, I went to jail. So I walk with my head up very proud and high, because I know I'm not a criminal. I didn't know you're out me try to commit a crime like I signed a you know, a closing. 00:12:34 Speaker 1: You were you were a woman who trusted her husband at the time, and there are millions of women who do that every single day. 00:12:43 Speaker 3: I know. If I wasn't on TV, I would have never went to jail. But because I. 00:12:47 Speaker 2: Was, they wanted to make an example out of you. 00:12:49 Speaker 3: And that's why I do walk with my head up. And that's what's sad, because like people judge me and like, you know, even girls on the show they called me criminal. It's like, oh please, Like even like Mark, it's like please, Like I like laugh at them because it's like what you give is what you get. And I know I'm like, I know I'm not a criminal, you know, so if anybody's trying to call me that, it's like, you know, like what a lot of people say, don't spit like it comes back to you right or like don't like I don't know that's saying what's still saying? 00:13:19 Speaker 2: I don't either, But I. 00:13:22 Speaker 4: Exactly a lot of us have watched you with Juicy Joke, where you. 00:13:33 Speaker 1: Are able to have conversations with him, you're able to co parent. How did you how did you remove yourself from the equation for your kids because you know, I find that I assume that would be extremely difficult. 00:13:47 Speaker 3: Yeah, and La La, I take care of everything, like I do everything like and thank god let me. Louis amazing too. And I mean, but you know, because Joe doesn't make the money they like, and he's in behind, so that's where he lives. And so I take care of everything. I mean, the kids have a small you know, you know, a small amount of money that Joe gives them, But I paid for colleges everything. It's all on me, so and I mean, trust me, I do it for my kids, you know, like I keep the peace for them. But I always tell them, like please, don't want to make the same mistake I did. Whoever you marry, ask a lot of questions. Don't be like me and don't sign papers like you know, I mean, unless you know your husband's like one hundred percent legit is doing the right thing. You know. It's like even till today, I'll ask you know, I'll say to Joe and La La, I asked him for a year straight. Because I didn't sign the papers right away, they chased me for a year. Everybody else signed on the dotted line. I took almost a year to sign the contract because I didn't know what I was getting myself into. So it's not like so it's not like I signed the papers like right away because I was like, what is this? I didn't know? And then that's sometimes me and Joe we fight about it. He's like, he's like, you're stupid show. He blames me still till today. You don't understand. 00:15:09 Speaker 1: You're like, this stupid show catapulted me and yeah, and my universe of being able to provide. 00:15:14 Speaker 3: And then I'm like, first of all, the stupid show. I'm like, I asked you, like, is everything legit? Is everything good with you? Like you know, because if you know, if you're not filing taxes, you don't ask why are you gonna tell me you want to take the show? Like I can't write. I just can't, like please, when I think about the stuff, I just can't. So it's not my fault. It's like it was his fault, and like he he did it to himself, you know, and he had a partner that you know, I wanted to screw him. See that's what happens too, you know, And like I think his partner made a you know, maybe called the government or the partner that the government went after his partner and then he rated. I think his partner ratted me out because really he had a partner and a lot of these properties and his partner didn't go to jail. And his partner, oh, he rolled over and they sing like canaries when there's a chance that they get him. Owned a lot, you know, he had, he had a partner that he owned a lot of properties with that his partner should have went to jail too, and he did it, and I think his partner rated said, oh, Teresa signed and I was on TV. So to them, that would make such a great thing for TV. Oh of course, yeah, and like. 00:16:25 Speaker 1: And as a viewer, it definitely did. But it was heartbreaking. I've watched your show from the beginning and everything from you know, the homemade sauce and and your dad asking if one of the women was menstruating because the sauce would spoil. 00:16:41 Speaker 2: Do you still make the sauce every year? 00:16:43 Speaker 3: I used to make it with my parents and then it's a lot of work. It's so yeah, it's a lot of work. Oh, my kids still make it with my ex mother in law. 00:16:51 Speaker 2: Yeah, that makes me very Yeah. 00:16:53 Speaker 3: So I'm high. And then of course you know she's sweet and she gives me some jars too. Yeah, she'll send some jars or g o by giah when you're made three hundred jars, so I still have like, oh my god, they don't go bad. They last. 00:17:08 Speaker 1: Yeah, so they only spoil if the person making them is on their. 00:17:11 Speaker 2: Parade, right, correct, Yeah, I love that. 00:17:15 Speaker 3: Yeah. 00:17:15 Speaker 1: When as we're going into the holiday, are there any because your family is obviously growing, your kids are older. 00:17:21 Speaker 2: It's which we just talked about this tree. 00:17:24 Speaker 1: It's wild to me that we like watched your children from the time. I mean one of them, was it Audriana that you gave birth to? 00:17:32 Speaker 3: Yeah, she's on the show kee now. 00:17:34 Speaker 1: Yes, it's crazy to me because I now know how how most viewers feel where it's like I know them, Like I could roll up on Gia today and we would be best friends because like I know her, And then I have to check myself and be like, no, bet you watched her on TV. 00:17:51 Speaker 2: She doesn't know who you are. You're an insane person. 00:17:54 Speaker 1: Do you have any regrets putting your children on on television? 00:17:59 Speaker 3: No? You know, I because is doing phenomenal. She's she's doing great. She's going to be on that show with the Bravo kids. Did you hear that about that? 00:18:10 Speaker 2: Wait? 00:18:10 Speaker 1: Tell me, I live under a rock, So tell me. I think I heard something. It's like kids of Bravo that are doing a show. 00:18:15 Speaker 3: A lot of like yeah, so it's you know, I don't want to give too much away because I don't know, you know, because you know, Bravo likes they like it, but they did announce it. There's a show coming out. There's you know, there's a few Bravo celebrities, Bravo children. 00:18:31 Speaker 2: And then and they are celebrities. 00:18:33 Speaker 3: Oh yeah, well that's what I'm trying to say, the right the right burd page. So yeah, Bravo. You know, it's like whoever's on Bravo the children like some Bravo guests, not guests, Bravo celebrities. 00:18:46 Speaker 1: Yeah, saying it, Yeah, the like the kids, the celebrity children of celebrity Bravo. 00:18:55 Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean there's yeah. So I don't want to sick because every time I say, they're like, don't say it. They're like Bravo has to say. But I think Bravo's did announce it already that it's coming out. 00:19:06 Speaker 1: Well, I think that's how I heard about it was through bras. 00:19:10 Speaker 3: Okay, so you did hear about it, okay, Yeah, so yes, yeah, shows coming out and they didn't announce when it's coming out, but you know early next year, and ok I'm excited about it. Yeah, so's I mean, you know what it was out there that you know, people took video of so certain people were on it, like for instance, it's my daughter. They were filmed from fans. 00:19:33 Speaker 2: Like it made its way to TMZ. Meredith and Mark Carson Brooks is on. 00:19:37 Speaker 3: It, Kim Zosiak's daughter Arianna, And I'm going to stop at there, you know. So you guys, the show is going to be lay and there's more, but I'm going to stop at there because I don't know who, you know, if they know who else. So, but that was you know, that footage was out there, you know, on social media because because I remember I was filming and they took video of us, and that was out there. 00:19:58 Speaker 1: You know, it's really hard to keep things under wraps these days because there's the fandom, the level of fandom that the Bravo universe brings in. 00:20:07 Speaker 2: I mean even you walking into. 00:20:10 Speaker 1: House Civilains, every single person that was a part of that cast knew they knew you, because again, you are a household name. Did you walk in the House and House of Villains and know every single person? 00:20:23 Speaker 2: Like, were you familiar with them? 00:20:25 Speaker 3: I didn't know. I didn't know. I don't think except for Larsa obviously when she came off. Obviously, I'm trying to think. I didn't know anyone. I didn't know this. 00:20:34 Speaker 2: Did you know Did you know New York? 00:20:37 Speaker 3: No? I didn't know New York either. No, I didn't know. I feel bad. I didn't know anyone. I never watched Love and Hip Hop, you know, I've Yeah, I didn't know anyone. I'm trying to think. No, I didn't know Candy Muse. I didn't know anyone. But like I loved everyone. Everyone was great. 00:20:54 Speaker 2: Did you leave with friendships? Oh? 00:20:56 Speaker 3: Yes, I got along with everyone. 00:20:58 Speaker 2: You're easy to get over. 00:20:59 Speaker 3: Even New York said sorry to me, and then I was just like, really, oh guy, Yeah, I was. 00:21:03 Speaker 1: Like, oh guys, well, I remember New York was on I think Flavor Flavor something. 00:21:10 Speaker 2: Yeah. 00:21:10 Speaker 1: She she really made a name for herself and I I love loving hip hop, so of course I knew Safari because you know, he likes to put his ding dong everywhere and it gets them into trouble. 00:21:20 Speaker 3: I know, we got along really great. I love Safari because we got We liked for coats together, you know, like the Fox for coats. Yeah, he walked in and I was like, oh, I love your coat. He's like, I love your coat. You know, yes, I were on point with the fashion, so we had we got. I got along, I have to say with everyone, you know. And I mean, of course, when Tiffany came from me, I was like what I was like, I thought that was like I just laughed at her. And then she apologized to Louie at the premiere party, which I was happy, and I'm like, poor Louis. He always like everyone's always coming for Louie. And it's like, because I guess they have nothing on me, so I guess they're trying to hurt me instead. And I guess they know to hurt me, it's of course hurt someone that you know she loves, you know. 00:22:06 Speaker 1: Of course, that's like he's just taking hits for his wife, hits for his wife. 00:22:13 Speaker 3: Hair. 00:22:13 Speaker 1: I know, did you ever did you always want You know, I'm the type where I always thought I was going to have boys only because a psychic told me that I was going to have all boys. So it did come as a shock when I'm here with two girls, and it did all something psychic. 00:22:29 Speaker 3: A bad psychic. 00:22:32 Speaker 2: Multiple. I'm like, our psychic's real. I don't know. Did you ever want a boy? You're such a fantastic girl, mom. 00:22:39 Speaker 3: Yes, I did want a boy because I just wanted to. I used to always say to Joe, I want to see what a boy looks like. You know, you know, you know I did want a boy. But now I have two step sons. 00:22:50 Speaker 1: That's what I was going to ask you, is it is it difficult stepping in as like I don't want to say mother figure because they're old? 00:22:57 Speaker 2: How old? I mean? 00:22:59 Speaker 3: We have Louis. We call him Little Lois because you know, you know, his father's Louie too, so we call him little Lowie. So Louis Is he just turned twenty one. We just celebrated his twenty first birthday this past weekend in Vegas. Oh had so much fun. Let Dom Dollar. We saw John Summit and Calvin Harris and in Las Vegas. We had the best time. 00:23:21 Speaker 1: I just think it would be so fucking wild to like have a totally normal life. You're like kicking it with your dad and all of this sudden Teresa Judas is now your stepmom. 00:23:32 Speaker 2: Yeah, like it would be fucking wild. You couldn't even wish for. 00:23:35 Speaker 3: Yeah, you know, we get along so good. And he like, I know, he always tells me he loves me. He writes me the nicest cards and and and he's the sweetest like boy, I mean young man. He is like I like, he's I adore him. He's like, I couldn't ask for a better step son. 00:23:54 Speaker 2: I'm so happy you would have been. 00:23:55 Speaker 4: I feel like I see you cheering at like little league games? 00:23:59 Speaker 2: You who would have been the best mom. I feel like like I would have been, like, that's my mom cheering for me over there. She did that with her girl. 00:24:06 Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, now she's notinning a Michigan football games, which I'm so jealous. 00:24:09 Speaker 3: Yeah. When I first met him, he was playing soccer and he played for He was a senior so when I first yeah, so I watched I watched his games. Yeah, he was really good. 00:24:20 Speaker 1: And how many who of the kids are still in the house. 00:24:24 Speaker 3: Well, little Louis lives here, Gia lives here, okay, and Gabriella just got home. She's at the University of Michigan, and Milania is at the University of Tampa and she's not coming home for thanksgiv and she's going she's in the Bahamas with her dad, so okay, Yeah, she's spending Thanksgiving with him. So he only has one and I have the rest. And Adriana lives here and she's fifteen. And then I mean that Louis has another son, Nicholas, that's twenty three GA's age, and he has autism and he lives with his mom. And we see him every other weekend or you know, if he's busy, you know, or every other you know, like we try to do every other weekend or every every two weekends. It depends are on our schedules because we're really you know, he's busy, he has things going on, We have things going on. But like he loves coming here. He loves the girls. They get along so good. 00:25:16 Speaker 1: And yeah, it's like a party house. It's like like that was my dream growing up. I always hated the fact that there were only two of us because my half brother, who I only call my brother, I don't throw the half in, but he's he's fifteen years older, so he had his own thing going on. And I always wanted just like a house full of kids or I guess grown adult children, and I wonder, like, what is Christmas going to look like at your house now? Because you have older kids, they you know, the parents are not together, so they got to bop around. What is your what is the tradition that you're going to try to keep? 00:25:52 Speaker 3: Well, I to Christmas Eve, so the kids are always Christmas Eve and then we stay, you know, we eat dinner, have dessert, and then twelve o'clock we open gifts. So they stay with me the whole Christmas Eve. So we start eating like I would say, I don't know, like we start a little early, like we start having appetizer maybe like seven, and then maybe eat dinner around eight or nine like that, you know, and then we just hang around talk, you know, play music, and then that's it and then have dessert and then twelve o'clock we open gifts and that's it. And then the next day, Christmas Day, we bed and the kids, like he goes to her boyfriends, they go see they all they're very close to Joe's family, So all the girls go see Joe's family and little Louis. I'm sure Christmas Day he goes to you know, he's going to go see his mom. Yeah like that. 00:26:47 Speaker 1: I do you guys draw names? I know this is a silly question. Do you draw names? Because since there's like five hundred of you, does each person or do you guys go all all week? 00:26:56 Speaker 3: You see, we still buy gifts for all of us. But and the girls they pick out of a hat, because there's eleven girls on Joe's side, like we have four girls. Joe's sister has four girls, and Joe's brother has three girls. So there's eleven girls. 00:27:12 Speaker 1: Any boys in the midst by oh my god, it's just like my dream. 00:27:17 Speaker 3: So they dream pick out of a name, and they buy one gift for each other, and there's like, you know, take of whatever over one hundred, get out a limit or whatever like that. So that's what they do, which is good because I like you. I used to buy. I had to buy for all the kids. It was like a lot. 00:27:32 Speaker 1: You know, No, that is a lot, and it gets expensive and I don't care if you're freaking balling, you're also taking you You're taking my time away where I have to. Like, I'm not big on gifts, Teresa, Like, I don't care if I receive them. 00:27:46 Speaker 2: I'm the worst at giving them. 00:27:48 Speaker 3: I'm the same way. It's just a lot, Like it's a lot of work for one day. You know, it's just a lot of work, you know. 00:27:54 Speaker 2: I like the day. 00:27:55 Speaker 1: I love that you guys vege during the day and just enjoy each other, because that, for me is what it's what it's all about. 00:28:02 Speaker 2: And I also don't like the cooking part. 00:28:04 Speaker 1: Which is why I I dismiss myself every time. Are you cooking for the family or are you having a catered Thanksgiving? 00:28:10 Speaker 3: We're gonna I'm gonna We're gonna cook. Louis and I are gonna cook together, and then Christmas. 00:28:14 Speaker 1: Eve. 00:28:16 Speaker 3: I used to cook with my parents. It's just too much with cooking all the fish. I'm not you know, I don't like cooking all the fish. 00:28:23 Speaker 2: What fish? 00:28:24 Speaker 3: What we the seven fishes? Do you ever hear the seven fishes? Okay? So I just we just Italians eat all fish, like fry calamari, I like shrimp abiada. This is what I do. I ordered, I ordered the food, so like, yeah, now I order from a great Italian restaurant, and I, you know, whatever we feel like even like like or Chilian sea bass or bronzino. So it's like we're big on fish and like, but Louis doesn't like fish, so I get he. He just likes shrimp and okay, shrimp. He likes fry calamari, but he doesn't like the sea bass, and I like, so I'll get him either like a like a meat or a chicken. 00:29:04 Speaker 2: So like, is Louis Italian? 00:29:06 Speaker 3: He's Spanish? Hispanic? 00:29:08 Speaker 2: What's his last name? 00:29:09 Speaker 3: Rue Ellis? Okay, his mom is Dominican and his father is half Mexican half Puerto Rican. 00:29:16 Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, you guys have that combination with the Italian is like all the culture in the world. 00:29:22 Speaker 3: And I'm so and I love my Hispanic husband. 00:29:26 Speaker 1: I do. 00:29:26 Speaker 3: Like he's very spicy, yes, I like, yeah. 00:29:31 Speaker 1: So yeah, remind what was like the point in time where you were like, this person's gonna be my husband? 00:29:38 Speaker 2: Like what about him just changed it all? I mean he's the most psych When. 00:29:43 Speaker 3: I first met him, he just was such a gentleman, just really sweet, like, you know, like I met him. We're walking literally walking, you know, walking by I was with my two girlfriends. He's packing up his house, his shore house. He's first time at the shore. He was leaving the shore and that was it. And then I was pointing at his car and I go, he think I thought I waved, so he waved back, and my married friends like, I'm gonna go talk to him. So my ma, because I was with me and my other friend was single and my and then I had a married friend. So my married friends like, I'm going to go talk to him. So she went to go talk to him, and she yes. 00:30:21 Speaker 1: Always count on the marriage and I have nothing to live. 00:30:25 Speaker 3: And then she was like start. And then her husband's like, oh, Dane, I want to go talk to him. I'm like yeah, but it was just she obviously did it for me. You know, it's called a wing woman, exactly, a wing woman. So like she went to go talk to him, and then I sit to my other friend. I'm like, well, let's go, like we can't leave her by herself. Let's just go say his And we went to go say hamick and then we all introduced ourselves. We shook hands or whatever, and that was it. And then yeah, I mean, that was it. And then we walked we left, and then he came driving up in his car and when his son was there when I met him, and and then I guess his son said, Daddy, did you know who that was? And he didn't know at first. Yeah, so louis like, that's Teresa. So then he came rolling driving up to us, because then we said bye and we left, and I don't even remember his son there la because I guess I was like a little nervous, you know, and he yeah, he was handsome and he was handed, and I was just like but then also he comes driving up to us as we're walking and he's like, my son wanted to know why didn't ask for your number, Teresa? And then like and that's and then I got embarrassed. I got because his son and his girlfriend were in the vack seat, and I was like and I was like, I got embarrassed. So I was like, well, before we left, he gave me his business card, so I said, well, I have your business card, I'll text you. And then because he gave me one, and he gave Dana one, the married friend, because he only had only had two of them ons and then he left and then I and then after that, my girlfriend took my phone Dana and she texted him and. 00:31:57 Speaker 2: I love Dana. 00:31:59 Speaker 3: So she was a good wing woman. Yeah, and then that was it. 00:32:02 Speaker 1: Wait, and then we talked if I come, if I come out your way, can we bring Dana out and she can be my wing woman? So, because twenty twenty five, Teresa, it's freaking on. 00:32:12 Speaker 2: I know I'm gonna get all. 00:32:14 Speaker 3: You wouldn't have a problem, trust you're. 00:32:19 Speaker 2: You're so kind. 00:32:24 Speaker 1: I want to know, because Jersey is on pause, if you could put together Jersey casts with with Ogi's, who would you pluck and put back into the mix for the next season of Jersey? 00:32:38 Speaker 3: I think, well, I think it would be obviously me, Jennifer Aiden, Dolores, Jackie Goldschneider. Really yeah, oh we're good. Yeah. Listen, she said sorry to me. I already knew she was talking, you know, I already knew she was doing what she was doing. I already knew it because right because I hurt her. So I get it. See see Lala, If I if I throw the first punch and you come from me, I get it. Girl, I'm like, all right, my hands are up. You're right. I came for you first. I'm sorry. So I knew that Jackie was her hands were dirty somehow, I already knew. And Okay, with Margaret, like she came to my wedding and I thought she was my friend, and she was in that whole thing the whole time too, and it's like, really, you're supposed to be my friend. Why are you doing that? You know? So that's why with Mark and even my sister in law she tries to play clean too. It's like they were all in it, you know, and I already knew. So it's like that's why it's just so funny to me. 00:33:39 Speaker 2: Do you still talk to Danielle stop? 00:33:41 Speaker 3: No? No, because you know what I tried with her and she's just like all over the place, you know, it's just like little ko. Yeah, I just can't know more. I'm like done with that. Yeah, she just yeah, it's just she's like wishy washedy, like a yo yo. It's like I can't you know. It's just like I don't know if if like everything she's been through, I don't know. It's just I can't. 00:34:05 Speaker 2: It's like yeah, and I get that. 00:34:07 Speaker 1: I feel like you've reached a point in your life where you have peace and there are moments and I and I've had this as well where people say, would you ever make up with so and so? And it's like you kind of have to look at your life and go, do I feel peace right now? 00:34:21 Speaker 2: Yes? So what would be the point? 00:34:23 Speaker 3: I mean, you don't even see if you really watched my show. Remember when I pushed Andy Cohen, did you ever guess it was like, Okay, she said to me that I didn't go see my nephew when he was born in the hospital. 00:34:37 Speaker 2: Trea, I have watched every single you know where she got that from? 00:34:41 Speaker 3: Do you know where Danielle got that from? 00:34:44 Speaker 1: Melissa tweeted her right, Messa called hering each other? 00:34:49 Speaker 2: Yeah, that would be very hurtful. 00:34:51 Speaker 3: I did not know that. Like see, this is how clueless I was back then, because I never thought that my sister in law would do that, Like so here I am was so mad at Danielle. Meanwhile, it did never dawned on me that Melissa and her were emailing each other, and that's where Danielle got that from. Like I never am I'm telling you, I would have took a bullet that day and be like, no way did my sister in law do Like I didn't believe it. I really blamed. I thought Danielle was coming for me just to and then to find out that my sister in law told her that. That's why she said that. And and Danielle never said that on the show, right, she told me that personally, she never outed my sister in law. You know what she said to me because I never wanted you in her to fight because of me. And I'm like, we were on a TV show. You should have just said the truth, you know what I mean. I was like exactly while she came from me and said stuff that I said, Meanwhile, you the person that really did all that to you that really hurt you, and you never outed her, you know, like they were emailing the whole time. I guess because she didn't want to look like the bad person because they're like they were doing it, you know off camera. You know, I don't have right, I can't tell you. 00:36:08 Speaker 2: You never know which way. 00:36:09 Speaker 1: I mean, the level of stamina you have to have to continue this shit when cameras are down. When cameras go down, I go live a good fucking life. 00:36:20 Speaker 3: No, I know, well, I mean that was happening before, that was happening before my sister in law even came on. You know, That's what That's how, That's what got her on because then Bravo saw how angry I got when she mentioned my nephew, and they're like, oh my god, this is gonna make great TV. 00:36:38 Speaker 1: And then the body checking of Andy Cohen, the strength on you, betch is fucking next level. I mean, you freaking it was like he was like a little hackey sack, like you could have punted his ass to fucking where did you film? Were you in Jersey when you film that? His ass would have been all the way to Los Angeles. 00:36:55 Speaker 3: I was shook. I mean that in the table flipping. I know, I used to be crazy. I used to be like I would go from zero to one hundred so quick. Yeah, I really would like I relate. I relate down now, which I'm so glad I have. 00:37:10 Speaker 1: You know, it's exhausting when newbies come on because you're like the og of iconic moments from the Andy Cohen too, the table flipping, just like who you are? You show up and you have these like effortless iconic moments when people come on, do you watch other housewives or do you stir clear? 00:37:26 Speaker 3: Yeah, now that like I have more time, I do like when I have time, Like right now, I'm watching so like City, I'm watching I'm so good, like a little bit of Potomac. Yeah whatever, Potomac is so good. I watched you do you you know? 00:37:40 Speaker 1: Yeah, yep, I'm I'm a heavy hitter when it comes to all of the housewives. But like I'll go back and watch og rony og Jersey. 00:37:49 Speaker 2: But do you watch newbies? 00:37:51 Speaker 1: Come on and you're like, girl, you've clearly watched too much Housewives. You are really trying to have that moment and it's not hitting because it's not authentic, Like you can tell that this you're trying to be you're trying to create the moment. 00:38:06 Speaker 3: Yes, yes, yeah, that's been on our season like this year. 00:38:11 Speaker 2: Ooh, can you tell me what moment that sticks out in your mind? 00:38:15 Speaker 1: On me? 00:38:15 Speaker 3: Come on, we're in twenty twenty, We're in twenty twenty five. Now, we'll no twenty twenty four and we're going I mean, you can't put your hands on anyone, you know, No, Like I'm just you just can't or you shouldn't get into someone's personal space, Like you can't get into someone's face so close and expect someone not to do because I'm sorry, if somebody got into my face that close, too, I think I would push them. And I always like, if somebody talks so close to me, I move back. I do move that because I don't, like, I don't want to smell your breath. Sorry, oh my god, I don't want to smell your breath. Like we should have a lot of distance between us and speak that way. I don't want don't don't get so close into my face. 00:38:58 Speaker 2: And that's what I love about Dolores. 00:39:00 Speaker 1: She's like, oh yeah, if if someone got that closed, I'd fucking hit them. 00:39:03 Speaker 3: Yeah, Like you can't, like yeah, like if you feel like you're being like like you know, like your your space is being invaded. Yeah, I mean I don't like that. Like you can't like scream and spit into someone's face as you're talking to that, I'm like, you can't do that. You know, have a normal it's called housewives. Yeah, have a normal conversation, like you know, like keep distance between us, not don't get into somebody's face. 00:39:30 Speaker 1: Like that, you know, right, My last question before we sign off when season one happened and you you know, and when I say just, I don't mean that in a derogatory or demeaning way. But you were you were a mom and you were a wife. Did you ever in a million years think that this was going to catapult you into such fame? 00:39:56 Speaker 3: No? 00:39:57 Speaker 2: No, what were your hopes and dreams did you? 00:40:00 Speaker 1: Do? You have like hopes and dreams of other things besides housewives and mom? 00:40:04 Speaker 3: I mean I did the show because I wanted to. Just I was like bored doing the same thing every single day. So I'm like, God, this will be fun. Like they're just gonna, you know, do They're gonna film us what we're actually doing, you know. And it's because sometimes in mom life, like if you're doing the same thing like you, like you I work out every day, so like you stay in your workout clothes, but like filming, it's like you get more dressed up. So to me was like fun, you know, getting more dressed up. But no, I didn't think it was going to ever become what it was never you know, it's absolutely insane to me. Well, just like you, I'm sure when you started, you didn't think the same, right, did you think it was gonna be well? 00:40:45 Speaker 1: I think that's I think that's the difference between Housewives back when you first started and with the show that I was on, because our show was based on a group of people working at a restaurant who we. 00:41:00 Speaker 2: Were really hoping for a big break. 00:41:03 Speaker 1: When we weren't working at the restaurant, we were going on auditions. 00:41:06 Speaker 2: We moved to LA with a purpose. 00:41:09 Speaker 1: So for me, it was like I certainly didn't think that this was going to be the end all be all. I never thought i'd be on reality TV. But when you started Housewives, it was just unknown. 00:41:20 Speaker 2: Yeah, it was very new. 00:41:21 Speaker 1: I think you guys were what the second or third Housewives franchise to exist. 00:41:25 Speaker 3: I think New York was on an oat and Orange County and it was us. So like I really didn't even and I didn't even watch the other show, so I didn't know to even and I didn't even go watch it before I signed the contract because I was so busy with the three kids, so I didn't even, Like I didn't watch any TV like always Barney, you know Elmo, Dora, that's on my TV. That's what I used to watch, so I never watched any TV. Yeah, and then by the time I then at that time when I went to bed, I would like pass out. I'm sure that's how you are now, right. 00:42:00 Speaker 1: Oh if pure exhaustion, And I too only get ready for a camera unless it's my own podcast. 00:42:06 Speaker 2: And then I look like this every single. 00:42:08 Speaker 1: Day because I'm just I'm doing well to not be covered and spit up at this point, now, I know that to me is a win. I had the best time with you on the pod. I'm so excited to do yours. What do you have going on? Is how the Villains wrapped? What are what are we doing? 00:42:23 Speaker 2: What are we on? 00:42:24 Speaker 3: Hows the Villains still is still going? So yes, okay, you know that's every Thursday night at ten pm. But yeah, it's still going. I think it's gonna be on a few more. 00:42:33 Speaker 2: Weeks, so state love it. 00:42:35 Speaker 1: Yeah. 00:42:35 Speaker 3: And then what else do I have going on? That's it? I mean, I'm you know, I'm doing appearances. You know here, I've been doing drag shows, which I've never been to a drag show before, and I love it, have so much fun. You're good. Yeah, And then I have a lip collection that just came out. I collaborated with Christian Audet. So okay, like Teresa's. 00:42:57 Speaker 2: I've been seeing this on your on your Instagram. 00:42:59 Speaker 3: So it's a lipsa so it's like three three lipstick colors. It's called best One's Best, so it's like a red. And then there's I Do it's like a Newdy beige. And then there's three six, three six, three sixty five, like three hundred, like you wear three hundred and sixty five days. It's like a mauve nude. 00:43:18 Speaker 2: Oh yeah. 00:43:18 Speaker 3: And then I have the slip gloss called love bomb. 00:43:22 Speaker 2: Oh oh, I love that name. 00:43:23 Speaker 3: So yeah, so did you see like you see all of the names like love bomb, like three sixty You know that movie three sixty five, three hundred and sixty five days, Yes, yes, so yes, I'm obsessed with that movie. I love that movie. So three hundreds. 00:43:36 Speaker 2: I love how you named it. 00:43:37 Speaker 3: It's like a lipstick that you were three hundred and sixty five days love bomb, and it's about like, you know, like I want to put the love out there because I wish, like I I want everybody to have like the love that me and Louie have. So it's like I want to, you know, like I want. 00:43:52 Speaker 2: You to find We'll send that my way. That's what I want it. 00:43:55 Speaker 3: Oh yeah, so like the I do and then what else? And what's the other one? I do? Love it best? So I picked get kissed. Okay, like kiss means Spanish. 00:44:09 Speaker 1: I love it. Thank you so much for being on the Give Them Lalla podcast. 00:44:12 Speaker 2: Tree. You really are man, Thank you. 00:44:14 Speaker 3: This is so much fun. We gotta do we gotta do it more often. 00:44:16 Speaker 1: Yeah, please, I would love it and I'm gonna come when I like my mommy brother. 00:44:21 Speaker 3: I love that you do with your brother. 00:44:24 Speaker 1: We keep it in the pod, always stay closed. 00:44:29 Speaker 3: I love that. That makes me really happy. 00:44:31 Speaker 1: Well he's never getting a wife. That's what I've learned from from this. You know what I've learned from this podcast episode is no new fronts. 00:44:41 Speaker 3: The only thing is I know when new blood comes in, that's when that's when things change. But you know you have to tell whoever on both your sides. Listen, my sibling. Can you please make it work with my sibling? 00:44:55 Speaker 2: Please? 00:44:56 Speaker 3: Don't you know? Take you know? Is it all used to? 00:44:59 Speaker 1: And our other our older brother who's forty eight, but he's got an amazing wife. 00:45:04 Speaker 2: And we're all very that's nice. 00:45:05 Speaker 3: See that's the thing you don't want to like. You know, you have each other, so you want you want to keep that family. You know, it's exact because I only have one brother and now I'm like, I feel like i'm and I lost my parents, so I feel like I'm an orphan. But it's okay because I have my four daughters, and I have my you know, husband, and I have my stepson. So I'm blessed. I'm really blessed. You know. 00:45:26 Speaker 1: I love that word blessed. That is the word that I live and die by. So thank you so much again, Teresa, and thank you guys for listening to another episode of the Give Them La La Podcast. 00:45:36 Speaker 2: I hope that you stay blessed. 00:45:38 Speaker 1: I hope that it's just love, love, love, and I will catch you next week. 00:45:41 Speaker 3: I love that
