QOF Episode 119 - Teresa Duryea Wong
Today on the podcast I interview a quilter and scholar who is best known for her prolific and meaningful writing in the quilting world.
She was recently a teacher and speaker at Quilt Con 2023. She has published five Quilt history textile books. And we'll dive into the pages of her 2 brand new books as well. She has written for dozens of magazines and presented lectures all over the world. She has the honour of serving as board member of the International Quilt Museum in Lincoln, Nebraska, the Scholar in Residence at the Visions Art Museum in San Diego, and Bybee Scholar at the Texas Quilt Museum and Bybee Foundation.
In her fifth book, she co-authored Stitching Stolen Lives, the Social Justice Sewing Academy of Remembrance Project with Sarah Trail.
