00:00:54
Speaker 2: At eighty seven to seven ninety nine on Fox.

00:00:56
Speaker 3: In about forty nine minutes, Old School win fifty hits. Every Thursday on our show, we throw it back. But Happy Thanksgiving. Thank you guys for hanging out. We're talking about things that are wildly overrated right now.

00:01:08
Speaker 2: Some people think that.

00:01:08
Speaker 3: Thanksgiving meal in itself is overrated when it comes to turkey. Rich I don't those I'm not a big turkey guy. I think it's a personal thing.

00:01:17
Speaker 4: I think the idea of turkey being the central point. I can't disagree. I'm not saying some people make a better turkey than others. Some people roast their turkey. It's a little dry, got it. It's no better than getting a rotisserie chicken from the supermarket. I feel that. But fry a turkey, give it a little juicy or flavor. I said to this year, we're smoking our turkey in the green egg. I don't know how that's gonna turn out. You know, you gotta put you got to baste it and put all the spices and fruit on it. Maybe some people put bacon on it, spotty. I know you've You've cooked turkeys many aways, right, Yeah, I've I liked to Brian, that makes it juicy. There's a you can do a dry brine which also holds in moisture. I've covered it in bacon, which creates a great gravy at the end.

00:02:06
Speaker 5: So there's a lot of ways to do it.

00:02:07
Speaker 2: But I just don't overcook it.

00:02:08
Speaker 5: You gotta use a meat thermometer. That's that's the key.

00:02:11
Speaker 4: I do think though, that you shove your probe deep inside the breast. I'm sorry, come again, Wait, don't so my thought overrated? Maybe the turkey itself, because I think if you ask me what I love, I'm honestly gonna say like the stuffing and the potatoes, and the desserts and all the appetizers. Like, honestly, I feel like you start dipping into some of these dips and appetizers and boards of meats and cheeses that Wifey puts out ahead of time, I enjoy that more than the actual turkey.

00:02:44
Speaker 3: Well, the list that came out is that there are some sides that are also wildly over right. They went over the yams. Can I get to the yams. I'll get to the yams, those sweet sweet yams. By the way, how does the NFL's Mike Yam feel about this? Is he upset about this? Shout out to Mike Yam, our old colleague. They're saying yams are overrated? Yeah, green bean casse role overrated?

00:03:08
Speaker 2: Okay?

00:03:09
Speaker 3: And what was the third one that was highly Oh cranberry and the can cranberry sauce. And I agree, with that one, because there's so many better ways to present it. It's the presentation that's kind of asked. You got that, got that can, but you've got again.

00:03:23
Speaker 2: You usually likes I you know what I do. I'm not gonna lie. You nailed it.

00:03:28
Speaker 6: But like Campbell's soup executive said recently, things in cans are for poor people.

00:03:32
Speaker 3: Oh yeah, I mean did say that. That's what they said. We didn't say that. Now that brings us some canned food, No, for real, right, that brings us to something else that Jake Paul said. Now, Jake Paul, if you don't know successful influencer, but who the hell doesn't know that, you have to know that he is fighting Anthony Joshua December nineteenth, or super pumped about that. Even though we think it's ridiculous, it's gonna be awesome to see.

00:03:57
Speaker 4: I mean, it's gonna be awesome to see if if you've been waiting for Jake Paul to he get knocked on his ass, this is the aj the chance Anthony Joshua is a beast. He may he may hurt Jake Paul. But then again, there's people that there's other fighters that are saying Anthony Joshua was washed. Jake Paul's hungry, So that's December nineteenth, But that's besides the point. Jake Paul came out with a list that's creating some buzz on social media only against Jake Paul's you know, a loud mouth and he's popular. Can't deny that he came out with his list of who he said, we're talking about overrated sides. He has a list of the most overrated athletes.

00:04:31
Speaker 2: Do you want to start from number ten to number one? Rich? Because you are a countdown what top forty sort of guy? I mean, you don't want to hear Jake Paul do his own list? Do you want me to like? I mean, why not just play Jake Paul's list?

00:04:43
Speaker 3: Oh man, I think you're gonna do your best casey case of your best Spider Harrison, my best riggdees Rick des Anyway, let's hear Jake Paul, and I want you to take notes of who he says, because I want to know if you agree with any.

00:04:58
Speaker 2: Of these as being oh rated. All right, let's hear Danny g hit it.

00:05:05
Speaker 7: This is my top ten most overrated athletes. These are all facts. Bab Ruth overrated, Trevor Lawrence overpaid and overrated. This was gonna piss off a lot of people. We're Inaldough, Ryan Garcia, Connor McGregor, Dak Prescott insanely overrated, Anthony Edwards overrated, Canelo Alvarez overrated to a Tiger Voli off seed, overrated, and last league Anthony Joshua overrated.

00:05:35
Speaker 3: Wow, So don't h o that list obviously, for you know, a little little jab punitentially early. He's not a top forty pop radio guru like the great Rich Davis, because you start a countdown with number ten and you work.

00:05:50
Speaker 2: Your way to number one. He started with, yeah, number one, So.

00:05:54
Speaker 4: You know, let's let's work in reverse order, like we're doing a Casey Caseon countdown in nineteen ninety.

00:05:59
Speaker 2: Coming into number one. No, number ten, let's go backwards. Number ten. Anthony Joshua is Anthony Joshua overrated.

00:06:07
Speaker 3: Gold medalist Joshua had all the hype in the world.

00:06:12
Speaker 2: I think by the time the world.

00:06:16
Speaker 3: Started to recognize who he was, you know, he was already past his prime. That's what I feel like we always were as a fight fan. We were waiting for that big fury AJ fight at Wembley like for years and it just never happened. I just think he took too many punches. So you don't say, no, dude, he was an Olympic gold medalist. I think he has to say that because he's fighting him and he wants to you know, you know, he just wants to put that on his uh, he just wants to put that on his radar, just to get under his skin.

00:06:46
Speaker 2: I'll say this.

00:06:48
Speaker 4: I don't think my mom or like my wife or you know, people that don't watch boxing, my brother. I feel like Anthony Joshua is not a household name, so he can't be overrated.

00:06:57
Speaker 2: If you're a heavyweight gold medalist. If you're not a household name.

00:06:59
Speaker 3: That's bs, dude, because overseas he's a superstar.

00:07:02
Speaker 2: I don't live overseas, bro.

00:07:04
Speaker 3: Yeah, well guess what, pee brain. The world's a bigger place than your living room. And I really think and I agree with Deluxe Recordings who hit us up on the YouTube chat coven on rich FSR. Sometimes when you're exposed, it's hard to like.

00:07:20
Speaker 2: Come back from that.

00:07:21
Speaker 3: Like you know, Mike Tyson was never the same when he was knocked out.

00:07:24
Speaker 2: You know what, I mean went around the rousing.

00:07:26
Speaker 3: Yeah, like, when you're exposed, it's hard to get your confidence back. And when Andy Ruiz knocked him out, the little chubby Mexican dude became the first Mexican heavyweight champion.

00:07:35
Speaker 2: I was pumped about it.

00:07:37
Speaker 3: But when he got exposed that way, I think he really lost his footing and forgot about who he was in a way, and forgot that he was really a lion inside.

00:07:45
Speaker 2: So I think that was part of it. I don't think he's overrated.

00:07:47
Speaker 3: I think he was never the same after that for obvious reasons.

00:07:51
Speaker 2: Dude.

00:07:52
Speaker 3: That was like, imagine getting knocked out by Andy Ruiz when no one was expected. You were so happy about that. I was, so I think that's all part of it. I don't think aj was overrated. I think he sat exposed and he just never recovered fully from that injury.

00:08:06
Speaker 4: He said, he's he gets equal excited when a chubby Mexican gets an opportunity filling in for Dan Patrick.

00:08:10
Speaker 3: For the well, I'm happy to make the Vato local prown all right. So Anthony Joshua rated overrated nine.

00:08:17
Speaker 2: I don't know number nine.

00:08:20
Speaker 4: I think based on how much he makes and I can't believe Miami gave him that extension and that big money contract. I do think two is overrated. I mean, you know, great college player came in with hype. I don't I never understood.

00:08:34
Speaker 3: I think that's it rich when you think of the expectations and the money he gets.

00:08:38
Speaker 2: I have to agree with that one.

00:08:41
Speaker 5: I'm not sure who he was talking about exactly.

00:08:46
Speaker 3: Boy, our boy Colin Cowhert said that your boy brock Perty is a right handed tua.

00:08:52
Speaker 2: Colin, get out of here, please, he did. He said the multiple times.

00:08:57
Speaker 3: Canelo Alvarez number eight away, No way, no, how, dude, out in my face with that Canelo Alvarez the fighting pride of Mexico.

00:09:05
Speaker 2: He's a legend. Dude, he is a legend and he carries that torch.

00:09:09
Speaker 3: There hasn't been a dominant fighter to his caliber since who he'll see sar Chravis Man.

00:09:14
Speaker 2: So absolutely he loose points for being a Ginger. No, he gets extra points.

00:09:19
Speaker 5: That's got to be racist.

00:09:21
Speaker 2: Yeah, is Josh Ginger as a race? I love ed Sharon. All right, let's go to number seven, number seven.

00:09:27
Speaker 4: Anthony Edwards. The story's not written on him. He's like, you're still such a young player.

00:09:31
Speaker 2: I don't know.

00:09:31
Speaker 4: I think Danny g you're you're the biggest NBA fan of the room. But Anthony Edwards overrated?

00:09:37
Speaker 3: No, No, I mean I think he's rated, right, I mean plays Jake Paul's a troll, right, He's trying to say things to get people fired up, just who he is by nature.

00:09:47
Speaker 2: So when he throws a Canelo in there.

00:09:49
Speaker 3: He's trying to get his attention, trying to get under his skin, trying to cause that and create that buzz to get that eventual fight.

00:09:56
Speaker 2: And he might do it. He might get it because the money's there.

00:09:59
Speaker 3: Anthony Edward, I agree with you, rich, story's not written too soon, as say Anthony Edwards.

00:10:03
Speaker 4: By the way, put up thirty one yesterday. They had a great game. But still this Oklahoma City team is unbeatable. They're eighteen and one. They like this just it seems like other teams play solid basketball and they're still coming up short.

00:10:18
Speaker 2: One thirteen, one oh five.

00:10:19
Speaker 4: OKC continues to just dominate SGA last night, put up a forty plus spot all right, number six, number six, Dak Prescott. I think he's a victim of like just not getting enough love. Sometimes I feel like you see these numbers, Danny g Cavino where it's like, well, I'm so torn on dk.

00:10:44
Speaker 2: Oh.

00:10:44
Speaker 3: You know why, because I think Dak Prescott's a likable guy, and I don't think it all falls on him by any means.

00:10:50
Speaker 5: He's a good leader.

00:10:52
Speaker 4: I think, yeah, I feel like sometimes the ineptitude of Jerry Jones and how that organization is run falls on Dak, and it shouldn't.

00:11:00
Speaker 2: But when you but you could say, you could say the expectations.

00:11:03
Speaker 3: Of cowboys and the star players that that have run through during his time here, it's hard to say that he's not. But I just don't feel like it's all his fault. I agree, I agree with you, Okay. Number five, number five Connor McGregor again, another one. I think Jake Palfos in there because he sees dollar signs in the future. I think Connor McGregor is one of those guys that in his prime was the most electric guy.

00:11:34
Speaker 4: But I do think that overall his name is Mark. I think, what do you think.

00:11:39
Speaker 3: White would say, bro Dana White would say, when Connor McGregor was in his prime, was no one more electric, no one making more money, no one getting the casual fan to tune in than Connor McGregor. I know, Dana White says that John Jones is his goat, He's the all time goat. But Connor McGregor was must watch TV, must watch pay per view in his prime, and he's the guy that sort of started all these circus fights.

00:12:02
Speaker 4: But overrated. Maybe he's maybe Jake Paul's ride with Connor McGregor in that. Yeah, in his prime he was electric. You're saying all the things out of the octagon that made him and still make him intriguing, right, Like he's a loud mouth, gets in trouble, he's funny, he's a personality.

00:12:18
Speaker 2: He walks down to the ring.

00:12:20
Speaker 3: Him and Vince McMahon haven't a similar walk like he has the he created that Jake Paul blueprint in a way because he's legitimately that guy, legitimately that trash talking type of dude.

00:12:32
Speaker 2: Like he's the real deal? Or was was? Is he now? Overrated?

00:12:38
Speaker 7: Yeah?

00:12:38
Speaker 3: The guy hasn't fought in years? Okay, number was he then like in his prime?

00:12:42
Speaker 2: Now?

00:12:43
Speaker 3: Way?

00:12:43
Speaker 2: Man, I don't he might be a little overrated.

00:12:47
Speaker 5: Number four, number four, even though we don't do list radio.

00:12:52
Speaker 2: Ryan Garcia. This is not our list, it's Jake Paul's list. Ryan Garcia. I think Ryan gets in his own way.

00:12:57
Speaker 5: Man.

00:12:57
Speaker 2: I think Ryan has all the in the world if he took it serious. Ryan Garcia has said some dumb stuff in his life.

00:13:04
Speaker 4: Yeah he's been he's somehow only when he was high.

00:13:08
Speaker 2: Though, Dude.

00:13:08
Speaker 3: The fact that he got knocked out or lost to Roly Romero, I really like that shows you where he's at.

00:13:13
Speaker 2: Like, there's no way he should lose to Roly Romero.

00:13:16
Speaker 5: Like that.

00:13:16
Speaker 3: Dude is again electric power speed, He has it all good looks and he gets in his own way.

00:13:23
Speaker 1: Bro.

00:13:23
Speaker 2: So Ryan Garcia is.

00:13:25
Speaker 4: Ryan Garcy is definitely overrated because he's a super handsome guy. Women love him. He's popular on social media. If you took all that away, he'd be a good fighter. But I think we well know him because of the out of the ring stuff. So yes, overrated, I'll say this, he could be. He's overrated.

00:13:41
Speaker 3: I agree with you, but he doesn't have to be. He has all the tools to be a superstar. He just doesn't commit the way he should.

00:13:50
Speaker 4: All right, Number three, number three, According to Jake Paul, these are the most overrated athletes of all time.

00:14:00
Speaker 2: Ronaldo.

00:14:01
Speaker 4: I'm not a soccer guy, but I feel like Messi and other guys are are have a better pedigree of better history. But is Ronaldo more of just a famous guy than the best soccer player.

00:14:14
Speaker 2: I don't know.

00:14:14
Speaker 3: That's for the record, by the way, six hundred and sixty eight million on Instagram. Yeah, he's like Listiano Ronaldo. He's the most popular guy on earth.

00:14:21
Speaker 2: But is he? Is he that good on the field? Danenergy, I'm not a soccer.

00:14:24
Speaker 6: Well, it's interesting you brought up Messi's name because I'm not a soccer guy either.

00:14:28
Speaker 5: I looked it up and says.

00:14:29
Speaker 6: Some argue that Ronaldo is overrated, citing his inability to perform at his peak and comparing him to other elite players like Messi.

00:14:36
Speaker 3: Yeah, I feel like maybe Damn Hansome then because Kim Kardashi and if that's the beacon of popular in this country, three hundred and fifty four million on Instagram.

00:14:50
Speaker 2: And again he's over He's almost seven hundred million. That's insane.

00:14:55
Speaker 3: Yeah, it is insane, that's how popular he is. So if you want to say based on his popular larity, he might be overrated, like does his play on the field match that level of popularity. Did you might have a case here? Did you see when he went to the White House?

00:15:11
Speaker 4: President Trump put on social media in ai of him and Ronaldo like head budding soccer balls and playing in the old Office.

00:15:21
Speaker 2: Yes, very very all right, So.

00:15:22
Speaker 4: Ronaldo, I mean his look. You see the women he's been with and his wife is beautiful. He's Ronaldo's living life. Maybe a little overrated on the soccer field, but then again, I'm just saying what I'm thinking.

00:15:33
Speaker 2: I'm not a soccer guy.

00:15:35
Speaker 3: Yeah, hey, we open it up Fox Sports Radio Nation Dan Patrick Nation eight seven, seven ninety nine on Fox. This is based on wildly overrated sides on Thanksgiving and Jake Paul's overrated athletes. Guys, we're just going over two more quickies.

00:15:49
Speaker 5: I I number two.

00:15:51
Speaker 2: I agree with this one. Trevor Lawrence, wildly overrated.

00:15:54
Speaker 4: We keep like this guy came out of college as oh, he's a generational guy, and we'll talk about dudes like Andrew Luck, John Lway. There are guys that come out of college that are considered no brainers, like I don't care about Oh, you don't know what's gonna happen in the NFL. There are certain guys that are like a guarantee to be good in the Pro rich.

00:16:13
Speaker 3: Just to play Devil's advocate. And I'm not disagreeing with you or Jake Paul here. He plays for some weak ass teams.

00:16:20
Speaker 4: Yeah, but you know, you try to build teams around them. And it's not like Trevor Lawrence's single hand lead like carrying anyone.

00:16:25
Speaker 6: I got a flashback to earlier this season when he ran that touchdown in and beat the Chiefs. Remember, and you guys came on the radio the next day and said, Ah, here's the Trevor Lawrence we've been waiting for.

00:16:36
Speaker 3: Yeah, but I don't understand by that because we've been waiting for it because I feel like he sucked a.

00:16:40
Speaker 5: Lot of time.

00:16:41
Speaker 6: But you thought, like, this is a season, look at him and his team are arriving a little bit, so maybe.

00:16:47
Speaker 3: We'd get excited about it because we've been waiting to see this. Yeah, we've been waiting to see this Trevor Lawrence that everyone was hyping up. You know, the same college superstar that he was. We wanted to see that translated in the NFL. I always gave him the past though, because I thought his team sucked.

00:17:02
Speaker 4: Go right, Cole, let me ask you this, buddy, boy. You know how we always talk about, you know, this sad sentiment. I think everyone that's like forty ish or so, I was like moon time's flying. We all feel that way. How long do you think Trevor Lawrence's been in the National Football League. I'm not trying to put you on the spot.

00:17:16
Speaker 2: Five years. Oh you're right, man.

00:17:17
Speaker 4: This is this is year number five and his record in the NFL is twenty nine and forty two. He's got eighty three tuddies to fifty seven interceptions.

00:17:28
Speaker 3: Like I just and he escaped a lot of criticism for the first like three and a half four years, Like I don't.

00:17:35
Speaker 4: Know it, just you know, he's had This is his first like real winning season. He was nine and eight in twenty twenty two, but since then like losing, losing, and losing seven and four. Now he can shed a little the overrated He hasn't lived up to the expectation. If and only if somehow the Jags sneak into the playoffs or win that division and catch up to the Colts or something that's of right now, If they missed the playoffs again. You know what, how how long are you going to give a guy to be you know, year of the year no playoffs before you're like, yo, this guy stinks.

00:18:11
Speaker 2: And number one? Can I do my Spider Harrison?

00:18:14
Speaker 6: Yeah, hang out, we got a drum roll here.

00:18:18
Speaker 2: Coming in at number one.

00:18:24
Speaker 4: The babe, Babe Ruth, Now, yeah, yeah, she the babe. The babe overrated such a weird thing because back then, you know, they there's no black dudes, There was no Dominican guys, there were no Asian players. They didn't exist, babe, No, they just didn't exist any No. You know, remember back then, it was like Babe Ruth was the best among like a bunch of like random white dudes.

00:18:47
Speaker 2: The game wasn't global.

00:18:50
Speaker 4: However, Cavino will point out there were years when Babe Ruth had more home runs than like the rest of the league combined, so.

00:18:59
Speaker 3: You know, far superior than anyone else. So you know, when you have those goat conversations like he was by far the goat of the time, you know, could he play.

00:19:10
Speaker 2: In today's league? Yeah?

00:19:11
Speaker 3: I mean, if you practice and train the way the guys do today, you can't look at his swing now and be like, look at this guy, look at his fatso because then he was the beacon of awesome.

00:19:21
Speaker 4: Yeah, like today he might be if if Baber was if he was alive today and he still had those fundamentals. Maybe you know it's that generational dumb conversation we all have, like, all right, take a take a musical genius, like in a genre, right, like with a big country star or like doctor Dre.

00:19:38
Speaker 2: Right, if doctor Dre was.

00:19:39
Speaker 4: Born in a different generation, is his ability just to understand music? Would he have been a musician but just a different genre? Like do you think certain people are just so talented that they would have found their way singer songwriters? Would they have found their way in a different generation. I feel like if Babe played today, he'd be like a Kyle Schwarber type. He lift more, he'd be a little you know, I don't think Babe's overrated. I think we look at him and you're like, look at that tubb of goo, that was the best player ever. But he was a man amongst like boys.

00:20:12
Speaker 3: It seemed he was the babe and he garnered everybody's respect. He'd have sex with your wife and you were honored because it was the babe. He'd beaten hot dogs while hitting home runs and you'd pay to see it.

00:20:24
Speaker 2: However, he was the babe. That's why.

00:20:26
Speaker 4: However, you know, we've all athletes are so humongous now, right, Like when we were kids, there was one Lawrence Taylor. Now every team has a linebacker with the size and speed of Lawrence Taylor.

00:20:37
Speaker 2: Like we've just evolved as a species, right.

00:20:40
Speaker 4: You know, back in the day, they would depict a fat person on TV and now what used to be a fat person on TV is now like a tipic, like a regular like, oh, they're a little thick, but like what they used to think was fat, Babe, Ruth, we think of this guy's like some tubby baseball player. You know what his size was, Ruth?

00:21:02
Speaker 2: Do you now or know?

00:21:03
Speaker 5: I do know?

00:21:04
Speaker 2: Six two two fifteen. They have met six two two fifteen. That's gonna be.

00:21:09
Speaker 3: That's like that rich su after Thanksgiving dinner. Yeah, honestly, I'm play more than the babe.

00:21:16
Speaker 2: I'm sick. I'm six foot.

00:21:18
Speaker 4: I'll do my little Dan Patrick checking six foot one ninety three like I'm six ft in the one nineties.

00:21:24
Speaker 3: You tell me, Mabe, Ruth is like roughly our size. He ain't have a lot of muscle, a lot of belly. That's that's why I had a big fat head. Now, is that is that a two fifteen? Is that a two fifteen?

00:21:35
Speaker 2: How like President Trump says he weighs two hundred pounds. I don't know, but that's what they haven't all right, Yeah, I wasn't.

00:21:40
Speaker 4: Next, we're gonna go over the big TV games of the week courtesy of TCL.

00:21:45
Speaker 2: What gets the big TV?

00:21:46
Speaker 4: If you like are like me and you got the split screen, you roll out extra TVs every Sunday.

00:21:52
Speaker 2: We'll go over what games you need to have on the big screen this week.

Speaker 3: Plus we'll go over all the action in the NFL later today, coming up right here on rich Fox Sports Radio.

00:22:45
Speaker 3: Covino and Rich live from the Fox Sports Radio Studios. I'm live from Union, New Jersey. Smell a turkey ass.

00:22:53
Speaker 5: In the air.

00:22:54
Speaker 3: Oh yeah, Steve Cavino, Rich too, Yes, best part is super producing at eight seven, seven ninety nine on Fox. Still driving that trusty old ride. Keep it looking sharp with Mako from dense to faded paint. We've got you covered. Get a free estimate today. Uh oh, better get Mako action packed show left. We got Rich's big TV game of the week. We got Old School in fifty hits. So I want people to start thinking about family friendly holiday movies.

00:23:22
Speaker 2: Right because a lot of people visiting family.

00:23:25
Speaker 4: You know about that because you and I disagree on what I call one of the best holiday classics because you think it's vulgar.

00:23:31
Speaker 3: Well, look, when you think of family movies, you got little rug rats, nieces and nephews running around today. You don't need sex scenes or anything inappropriate, something that could offend mom My mom easily offended by the way, So we'll get to that. Get you involved the numbers eight seven, seven ninety nine on Fox.

00:23:49
Speaker 4: But right now, we do it every week on our show. Let's bring it to DP. It's our big TV game.

00:23:55
Speaker 2: Of the week. You should see my fat up.

00:23:58
Speaker 3: I got an extra TV the game game that I will have riches, Big TV game of the week.

00:24:05
Speaker 1: It's Rich's big TV Game of the week.

00:24:09
Speaker 4: Now, what started as you idiots making fun of me became a bit sponsored by TCL. Thank you TCL, t go big TV that maybe they did you know. I joked at you guys that you know you got the big TV in the living room, whether it's the seventy five or eighty five inch TV.

00:24:26
Speaker 2: That's the one that's the big TV.

00:24:28
Speaker 4: But if you're a true football fan, you might be an idiot like me and I roll out other TVs so I could have split screens and Sunday ticket riches like that.

00:24:36
Speaker 2: Nerdy av kid in high school that rolled the TV out. You know what, very similar I do that. Maybe pick pick me? I wanted can I get the TV? Miss Johnson?

00:24:46
Speaker 4: So to me, no better set up than having multiple TVs. I feel like you don't want it permanently set up because you want your house to a classy. That's why I roll out the other TVs and then just roll them back into other rooms in the house. So I'm I want my living room to look like at sports bar for eight hours a week Sunday football. But what we do every week we decide what game gets the big TV and one gets the little TVs on the split screen, and you know, you manipulate your Sunday ticket and Cavino, I feel like I turned you onto Sunday take it because you're a red zone guy. Yeah, and I think last week we watched football together and you're like, yo, you might got to You might have the right idea.

00:25:22
Speaker 3: When you see it. Yeah, when you experience its a totally different experience.

00:25:26
Speaker 2: Absolutely. Yeah, it was nice.

00:25:27
Speaker 4: Now the pickens are slim because we have a lot of great football over the next couple days. So today, I mean, every game gets the big TV because you know, we have three games, but they're all great games. We talked about Lions Packers being the biggest of all of them, so telling and then.

00:25:43
Speaker 2: The Chiefs and the Cowboys.

00:25:45
Speaker 4: You're talking about America's the team, the battle of Who's America's team?

00:25:49
Speaker 6: Which of the games today are you most excited about?

00:25:52
Speaker 2: Ooh, I you know what.

00:25:54
Speaker 4: On the we get out of here for DP and an hour and a half on the way home, I'm gonna be anticipating getting home and immediately turning on that Packers Lions game. I'm telling you the implications of whoever loses I think might be out of the playoff mix unless they get hot, because whoever loses that game is like sort of on the outside looking in in a major way. Tomorrow. I love the game of the game of first place teams. The Bears are they that? Are they that real?

00:26:21
Speaker 2: They?

00:26:21
Speaker 4: Vegas would let you think that, No, because there's seven point underdogs to the Eagles in Philadelphia. But when you get to Sunday Comino, that's when you have to make some choices.

00:26:30
Speaker 2: Right now, jag with your heart or head here?

00:26:34
Speaker 4: Oh, I'm thinking totally with both, because I mean, you can't ignore your heart. But the other game stinks. So I'll tell you what Jacks Titans. We'll talk about the early games. Jacks Titans. No one cares Saints Dolphins snap, No one cares. Falcons Jets stinker, Rams Panthers, Panthers trying to stay alive in the Rams. You know, ten point favorites. That's an interesting one. But now car a rich.

00:26:58
Speaker 3: Bigger stinker the aftermath of your Thanksgiving dinner or Falcons Jets.

00:27:04
Speaker 2: Oh, Falcons Jets, figger stinker.

00:27:06
Speaker 4: Yeah, but you know what, there's two games on Sunday in the in the early set that deserve the TV.

00:27:15
Speaker 2: I know the one you're thinking of.

00:27:17
Speaker 4: You're gonna say, Texans at six and five are playing in Indianapolis. They're two games behind the Colts, who are eight and three Indy favored by four and a half. And not only are the Texans six and five, that division is logjams because you got the Colts at eight and three, Jacksonville at seven and four, and Houston at six and five. So let me let me do a little manipulate a little schedule watching for you.

00:27:42
Speaker 2: Good.

00:27:43
Speaker 4: If the Houston Texans beat the Colts, they're seven and five, the Colts are eight and four, and the Jags if they win, they're eight and four. So you're looking at you're looking at a like the world should be rooting for the Texans to beat the Colts just to make that division, the tack them just to make that division even more ridiculous.

00:28:05
Speaker 3: So I think it's gonna be exciting to see if their defense can step up against the Colts in this situation, just to see how good they were the last game. You know, I think that's a really exciting, intelling game.

00:28:16
Speaker 4: So I'm gonna I'm gonna pull a lame move and say that I'm gonna that might be the game that gets the big TV later and maybe in the second half, but for the first half.

00:28:28
Speaker 2: Call me a homer.

00:28:30
Speaker 4: Forty nine Ers and brock Purty, who has not been good in conditions, go into Shadore Sanders home in Cleveland, Niners at Browns, and you might think, Eh, this game you really care. I'm a Niners fan, so I'm a little biased. But should or Sanders gets to start. They're saying it could be a snow game, So Niners versus Browns in the snow, should or Sanders versus shaky brock Purty why had his back all week saying that he had a rough game. The picks were, they were there, but I don't think there were was ill advised as people thought. So of course I like the Niners Browns. I think that's a really fun analogy.

00:29:07
Speaker 5: In the analogy.

00:29:09
Speaker 3: We're gonna talk movies later on. Let me give you a movie analogy here. Texans Colts is the original Rocky it's the best game. Forty nine Ers Browns is Rocky four. It's not the best, but it might be the most exciting.

00:29:24
Speaker 4: Yeah, or I mean exciting in the fact that it might be just like a sloppy defensive battle in the snow.

00:29:29
Speaker 2: And you know, but the forty.

00:29:30
Speaker 3: Nine Ers shardor Sanders, like, there's so much excitement there.

00:29:34
Speaker 2: There's so many Saxon names inlved.

00:29:36
Speaker 4: So I think there could be a lot of a lot of fun in that game. So those are your two games to choose from. I'm going Niners Browns. But that's a really you know, I'm surprised I missed that earlier when I was looking at my favorite games of the week, Texans Colts, because we forget that, Danny g that Texans defense that you've been talking about that could play a factor down the stretch because that division plays each other a bit and the Texans cults and we just talked about Trevor Lawrence fifteen minutes ago about how you know is it time for him to step it up? Because if they win this week and the Colts lose, now you're log jammed in that division. You got two eight and four teams and the Texans right behind them. So that division is far from written. Remember a couple of weeks ago we thought it was all cults. The Cults have stumbled a little bit now and the other teams have shown some life. So that's a hell of a great division right now to be interested in. Now later games again, there's only three to choose from because we have so many great games today and tomorrow on Black Friday. Vikings, Seahawks, Raiders, Chargers, No, so you gotta go Bills at Steelers. Bills are seven and four, Steelers are six and five. To me, they one of these teams. It's almost the story of like stop the bleeding, right Like could the Bills show some life and be like, ah, all right, we're back, we're eight and four, we won, or do the Steelers continue to give the Bills some woes and then the Steelers would be tied with the Ravens, who like their cove.

00:31:00
Speaker 2: Bills are Steelers. I like the Bills, and his Bills are only.

00:31:03
Speaker 4: Favorite by They're favored by only three and a half. It's in Pittsburgh, but that that could be a really fun late afternoon game on Sunday.

00:31:12
Speaker 2: The only thing is at Pittsburgh.

00:31:13
Speaker 3: But yeah, Bill's got to turn it around and really like make a statement here and get on the right track. So Bill, Steelers, I agree with you, Rich, And I know Danny G's gonna be watching his Raiders and all, but yeah, Bill's Steelers big TV game of the week.

00:31:26
Speaker 2: Danny, I know your theory is that you never root against your team. I get it. Like some people, like you know, they want their team to tank for the draft picks.

00:31:36
Speaker 4: They're playing the Chargers in LA, Like is there any instinct even try to get to the game, Like even if you got free tickets, would you'd be like I'm not even feeling it right now? Or like when your team stinks, do you even want to go see him live?

00:31:48
Speaker 5: Yeah?

00:31:48
Speaker 6: I mean I still want to go see live NFL football if I have the chance. And this game really is going to be whose O line is the most injured? In stinks the most as far as depth goes, because as I've been telling you guys, they both teams have third stringers playing on the line, and so you've seen the struggles Herbert's had and Gino Smith definitely does not handle pocket pressure well. So he's had an atrocious season because of that and other reasons.

00:32:15
Speaker 4: I know, you like to see, you know, when your team is sort of stinking, you like to look for glimmers like, oh, brock Bowers is doing good. Oh, Ashton Genty's finally gonna have a good game. Like you, you look for little things. Do you want like Frank spoiler to the charges? Is that appealing to you or do I geah?

00:32:30
Speaker 5: Yeah, right now.

00:32:32
Speaker 6: I do not like this coaching staff, So I cannot I'm not going to sit here on line and be like, oh, I see lots of hopefulness here, there's little things that I'm hopeful about.

00:32:41
Speaker 5: I'm not. I would rather Mark Davis sell the team.

00:32:45
Speaker 2: I heard that.

00:32:46
Speaker 4: I heard that Tom Brady there's some dissension because Tom Brady was very high on chim Kelly and some of some of the decisions the Raiders made that are not working out were like tom Brady driven, and there's a little a little dissension with him.

00:33:01
Speaker 6: I'm with Tom Brady on this. I don't think Chip Kelly was the problem necessarily. I think that him and Pete Carroll not being on the same page is a problem. But Pete Carroll brought his son in to be the O line coach, and from the very beginning they were stubborn with JPJ Powers Johnson, who's an elite center, but they played him out of position. They put Meredith and these other like third string guys on the O line, and oh surprise, the other teams are sacking your quarterback eight to ten times a game. They've made some horrible personnel decisions. And when a coaching staff is doing that and they don't have good schemes, that's when you need to clean house and get a new coaching staff.

00:33:39
Speaker 2: Well, speaking of your game, Danny J.

00:33:41
Speaker 4: Raiders Chargers that logjam I speak of in the AFC South with the Texans and that defense, the Jags and Trevor Lawrence finally trying to you know, put together a winning season to make a run. Those teams would be quite pleased if the Raiders won, because the Chargers of that seven and four team that right now, if the season were to end now they got that, they got that wildcard spot locked up. But the Chargers at seven and four, after they play your Raiders, they play the Eagles, the Chiefs, the Cowboys, and mark this game down a couple of days after Christmas. It might be one of those flex games you know to have Saturday and Sunday games the last couple of weeks Texans at Chargers that could determine who gets a wildcard spot Texans and Chargers. Then the Chargers got to end the season in Denver, and Denver could be fighting for a one seed. So unless you know old Khakis himself less Harbaugh, and you know that that team gets it together. Unless unless all of a sudden Madison Beer starts giving some sweet kisses.

00:34:47
Speaker 3: Then I don't know. I don't know if that team has it together. I don't I don't know. I don't know if the Chargers make it.

00:34:53

00:35:35
Speaker 2: Now. When I say old school, Kevino said it before.

00:35:39
Speaker 4: There's movies around the holiday season, Like a lot of people spend the time with friends and family today and tomorrow, and Kevino was like, Yo, maybe I'll watch out with my parents. And it's usually a question of what is a go to that you could definitely watch your family without offending anyone.

00:35:53
Speaker 3: So we want to make a list of those what are those go to movies that will not offend. We'll get to that and a bunch more NFL next right here Coveno and Rich.

Eight seven, seven ninety nine on Fox is something we call old school win fifty hits.

00:37:55
Speaker 1: There's a search.

00:37:58
Speaker 4: Y.

00:37:58
Speaker 5: What we gonna do is go back.

00:38:02
Speaker 2: Back into time.

00:38:04
Speaker 1: Throwing it back for a Thursday. Old school when fifty, that's fifty after CNR give you the time capsule topic and we reminisce together.

00:38:14
Speaker 2: Yeah, oh yeah, buddy.

00:38:17
Speaker 3: Now it's a Stranger Things weekend. Stranger Things buzzing, Wicked weekend. Everyone's talking about Wicked and what movies are we going to see? But the families are getting together, and when families are getting together, it's mixed company. Yeah, Uncle Fred, you got Aunt Nancy, you got all these little rug Rats, Right, all your nieces and nephew's running around, and when that trip, the fans starts kicking in and football is over.

00:38:43
Speaker 2: Hey, what are we watching? What are we doing?

00:38:45
Speaker 3: So if you're not meeting out with friends and family or friends later on, you might have to sit there in a living room and agree on something.

00:38:51
Speaker 4: So what you're saying is you want to agree on family friendly movies.

00:38:56
Speaker 3: It has to be, dude, because if you have a mom like mine, right, mom like mine, she's so easily offended by her slightest sexual reference, profanity that you name it. She's so offended because she gets like real embarrassed if her grandkids are around or even amongst her children who are adults. Meanwhile, my mom has five kids, so she won't be that much of a proove.

00:39:23
Speaker 5: What offends her more sex scenes or violence? Dude?

00:39:27
Speaker 3: My mom covered my eyes until I moved out of the house, so I would.

00:39:30
Speaker 5: Say you were twenty seven.

00:39:32
Speaker 3: Yeah, I would say any sort of sexual reference or nudity, oh my goodness, and all the unnecessary junk shots in today's movies my mom has.

00:39:41
Speaker 2: She doesn't want to watch movies. She's like fears for her life.

00:39:43
Speaker 4: Your mom only wants to watch a movie I like Clark Gables in it.

00:39:47
Speaker 3: Yeah, she's a very like old school classic film sort of movie buff your mom my mom stuff.

00:39:53
Speaker 2: Your mom prefers movies that have that are in black and white. So this is where we get involved. Yeah, she's clash. You got classes? What are you trying to say?

00:40:02
Speaker 3: So eighty seven seven ninety nine on Fox movies you endorse that are guaranteed to not offend everybody, but that don't suck either, right, Like, who wants to watch a suckass movie? So and it doesn't even have to be movies because I'm getting the feedback briche where streaming live?

00:40:17
Speaker 2: Cobino Rich FSR Becker Scott?

00:40:20
Speaker 5: What up?

00:40:20
Speaker 2: Becker? Becker hit us up?

00:40:23
Speaker 3: Says Yo, man, I watched Nate Bargates he stand up with my family members recently. Of all different generations, comedy works for all. So if you find that right guy too, it could be the right comedy stand up routine. What comes to mind? What's family friendly and safe but doesn't stink?

00:40:39
Speaker 4: Sebastian's got a new special out, so does Kevin Hart.

00:40:43
Speaker 3: Kevin Hart could be offensive as much as I like Look again, not cut you and I.

00:40:47
Speaker 2: But like your mom's that much for frude, it's there's kids are kids not a factor here? It's the holidays, they're not.

00:40:54
Speaker 3: If my kids hear a couple of curse, that's not you. That means that's that's bad parents. As far as I'm cana, when I was a kid, When I was a kid, you didn't think my dad was watching a Bachelor parties just because your goody dad. That it doesn't make it right. And I love your dad. You think they're the greatest game dad. When I was a kid, that's why you're a major pervert. When I was a kid, my dad was watching Dice Clay and I'm like, what.

00:41:15
Speaker 2: If that's not okay?

00:41:17
Speaker 5: Your bone?

00:41:19
Speaker 2: Those are the nursery rhymes where you should have grew up with.

00:41:21
Speaker 5: For comedy.

00:41:22
Speaker 6: At Thanksgiving, my stepdad always would put Bill cosby himself on.

00:41:26
Speaker 2: Howd that turnout?

00:41:28
Speaker 3: And by the way, you don't want like a family member to be offended. Get their kids put their coats on, like we're.

00:41:32
Speaker 2: Getting out of here and trying to keep it safe.

00:41:35
Speaker 4: Now every Thanksgiving. Now, spot you and your wife are joining our family tonight right Thanksgiving?

00:41:41
Speaker 2: That's correct? After the first After the Dessert.

00:41:45
Speaker 3: By Danny J.

00:41:45
Speaker 2: If you want to see with a dessert, we're there.

00:41:47
Speaker 4: Yeah, guess what we throw on every Thanksgiving night?

00:41:51
Speaker 5: Love?

00:41:51
Speaker 3: Actually, you should be embarrassed. Love Actually, I get it because guess what. I just saw the parade right and Santa came, dude, So the Christmas season has officially been eh. So holiday movie? You know that movie starts? You know the movie starts.

00:42:04
Speaker 4: The opening scene of love actually says five weeks till Christmas?

00:42:07
Speaker 2: Oh you know what?

00:42:08
Speaker 3: And nothing says happy Holidays and Merry Christmas like a porn scene in your Christmas movie. So love actually should not be in this conversation. Love actually should be in the trash. That movie's trash. That's a family there's a porn scene in that movie. It doesn't tell like a little tiny part where there's like a couple that are porn standing. I hope your eight year old daughter really loves that part. All right, your choices?

00:42:31
Speaker 4: What are those family friendly movies the whole fam could watch tonight?

00:42:35
Speaker 2: We'll take your feedback next
