Episode 80 - Ynnari pt3 - Cawl and Guilliman save the Imperium

The 40k Lorecast

On Today’s cast we finalize our coverage, for now, on the Ynnari story ark. This time we are focusing in the events of the imperium at this moment. We open with a back story on Belasarius Cawl, his birth and rise through the ranks of the Mechanicum and ad mech. More importantly we talk about his Soul Merging technology and the tasks given to him by the Emperor and Guilliman before their falls. From there we jump to the Cadia and the almost success followed by significant failure of that battle. We then end with John getting super hyped talking about the return of the best of the Primarchs, Guilliman.

[SPEAKER_00]: Welcome to the Forty K-Lorecast.
[SPEAKER_00]: Welcome to Forty-Ki-Lorcast with me, John Barsati, and Brad Chester.
[SPEAKER_00]: This guy.
[SPEAKER_00]: And today's cast, we're finalizing for now the Yenari story arc.
[SPEAKER_01]: I can't fully do it because it's still cliffhanger.
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, it's also like, eighty-five books.
[SPEAKER_00]: So we're actually only going to get about third of the weight into the Yenari story.
[SPEAKER_01]: And then we're going to still kissy and bitchy about this though.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's not subtle.
[SPEAKER_00]: So today we're going to get through the key part of the resurrection of Gilliman and some of the Imperium stuff.
[SPEAKER_00]: So
[SPEAKER_00]: For those of you who are new to us, the Forty K. Lord cast the weekly podcast.
[SPEAKER_00]: We've seen every Monday at seven p.m.
[SPEAKER_00]: Eastern time with a focus on the lower of the Warhammer Forty K universe.
[SPEAKER_00]: For those who have not, we always ask, please follow and comment on the cast, just to kind of boost our algorithm.
[SPEAKER_00]: We are doing great.
[SPEAKER_00]: We've got the tens of me more than tens of, close to a hundred thousand subscribers listeners.
[SPEAKER_00]: We're doing wonderful.
[SPEAKER_00]: And people really do like the cast.
[SPEAKER_00]: So for those of you who've been giving comments and liking it, that's how we got there.
[SPEAKER_00]: So thank you so very much.
[SPEAKER_01]: I want to go back up into the tops.
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't.
[SPEAKER_01]: I do so much.
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't care.
[SPEAKER_00]: Like, we're in the top, we're in the top, we're in the top, two hundred.
[SPEAKER_00]: We are in the ninety-nineth percentile of podcasts and Brad's like, well, I could be better.
[SPEAKER_00]: You're like, oh, they're the billionaire class.
[SPEAKER_00]: They're bad people.
[SPEAKER_00]: billionaire class.
[SPEAKER_00]: The bad work could have more money.
[SPEAKER_00]: You don't need it.
[SPEAKER_00]: But I could.
[SPEAKER_00]: Don't be a dick.
[SPEAKER_00]: Anyway, in the show notes, you'll see links to our website, the FortyKlorcast.com, along with our Patreon, our Discord.
[SPEAKER_00]: If you go to our website, you can find links to merchandise, the Patreon, the Discordself, Brad's coaching service and Brad's other podcasts.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, also you're going to find links too.
[SPEAKER_01]: The Motors City major sponsored by the Forty Kay Lordcast, coming June, six, seventh and eighth.
[SPEAKER_01]: If you want to come out, see some Forty Gay being played, hang out with us, tell bad stories or at least we'll tell bad stories.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: You'll probably tell them.
[SPEAKER_00]: You want to see Brad be a T.O.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's going to be impressive.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's going to be brutal.
[SPEAKER_00]: The only rule I have for that is Brad's going to be a T.O.
[SPEAKER_00]: You're only allowed to call for him when he's very, very far away.
[SPEAKER_00]: My legs are so short.
[SPEAKER_00]: You're going to be so tired from walking.
[SPEAKER_00]: My back hurts thinking.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, the only players who were allowed to ask you for a judging are the ones who were in the corner.
[SPEAKER_00]: People want to hit it.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's only in the corners.
[SPEAKER_00]: You have to go to all the way to the corner and has to end and end the other corner.
[SPEAKER_01]: We're going to hang out though.
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm also teaching a class that Thursday.
[SPEAKER_01]: So if you want to stop by, we would like anybody, even if you're not, you're not in the tournament.
[SPEAKER_01]: Just come by and come by.
[SPEAKER_00]: I'll be trying in it with not a good list because that's half the fun.
[SPEAKER_00]: Also known as my lists.
[SPEAKER_00]: But we also more importantly like to promote our discord.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's our totally free because all discord should be free.
[SPEAKER_01]: You are pretty crazy about that because it's like I know.
[SPEAKER_01]: I agree with you on that.
[SPEAKER_01]: You're you're almost as crazy about that as you're weird.
[SPEAKER_01]: I have the tiger.
[SPEAKER_01]: I want to set the world on fire with discord.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I do want to burn the discord down, but this is why it's a totally free thing.
[SPEAKER_00]: I made the discord.
[SPEAKER_00]: It was free.
[SPEAKER_00]: Why would anyone charge to have access to something that's free?
[SPEAKER_00]: I also don't put them much effort into it, too.
[SPEAKER_00]: So I should be free.
[SPEAKER_00]: So why do we not put it in effort?
[SPEAKER_00]: Because we have, because we have, because we have a lot of groups of moderators between Kevin, Nick, Maisie, Brian, Ethan, Steve, Ryan, and David.
[SPEAKER_00]: that it was all of you.
[SPEAKER_00]: Ronnie Bobby you're a king and Trevor and Trevor.
[SPEAKER_00]: Sorry, Trevor, your name was behind a little thing on the screen.
[SPEAKER_00]: I couldn't see you.
[SPEAKER_00]: So and Trevor.
[SPEAKER_00]: So, these guys have done an incredible job of organizing the Discord out in the way that's easy to follow.
[SPEAKER_00]: And that allows people to really interact well.
[SPEAKER_00]: Come to our Discord.
[SPEAKER_00]: We have stuff, you know, episode discussion, episode requests telling me all the things I get wrong, especially in pronunciation.
[SPEAKER_00]: But more importantly, for the listeners, it's about finding links to how, you know, what literature should I read next?
[SPEAKER_00]: Hey, I want to play the game.
[SPEAKER_00]: How can I play the game?
[SPEAKER_00]: Or just memes?
[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, video memes.
[SPEAKER_00]: Every thing, whatever you're looking for, the idea here is this was meant to be a positive community for people who are interested in the Forty Kay universe to really be able to interact and get further into it.
[SPEAKER_00]: So huge thank you obviously to the mods for keeping it alive because burn it to the ground.
[SPEAKER_00]: The other option, if you're looking for to play the game more, is Brad.
[SPEAKER_00]: Brad's actually played the game longer than a lot of our listeners have been alive.
[SPEAKER_00]: There we have, I guarantee we can numerous listeners.
[SPEAKER_00]: We know our listener base is late thirty's another leaf.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's our main base is I think twenty nine to forty.
[SPEAKER_00]: So it's right on that edge.
[SPEAKER_00]: But there are people listening to us who you started playing the game before their parents met.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: I've got models older than most of.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, you're older than a lot of their parents.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's also, it's also a point that went out too.
[SPEAKER_00]: You know, I'm old.
[SPEAKER_00]: I know.
[SPEAKER_00]: You have two ages.
[SPEAKER_00]: You've got how old you are and how old your body thinks it is.
[SPEAKER_00]: Which is not majoring in doing it.
[SPEAKER_00]: Not the good way when I make that joke.
[SPEAKER_00]: Not in the good way.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm significantly older.
[SPEAKER_00]: But for those who are looking to play the game a lot more, or just even getting first started with it, Brad's really is a great coach.
[SPEAKER_00]: She doesn't understand the game very well, and because he's got years of coaching experience, he doesn't understand the game at the most elite level.
[SPEAKER_00]: He's able to really help newer players pick up the game, understand the game, and make better decisions about how they're going to play the game, which is the most important part.
[SPEAKER_01]: So I go a call.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, let's dive in.
[SPEAKER_00]: So we're going to open today with Bellassarius call.
[SPEAKER_00]: So Bellassarius calls really, really cool figure, who'd actually did he exist in the game before, you know, I don't think so.
[SPEAKER_01]: I think he was originally made and created.
[SPEAKER_00]: Also, Ad Mac wasn't around the long unit.
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, that's true.
[SPEAKER_00]: I thought I bet I think call was introduced to the game right about with the you know with you with the United for sure.
[SPEAKER_01]: Because what's when it had make became an actual army is opposed to a it used to just be a forge rule attachment.
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, that's right.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I'd make was wasn't a real army.
[SPEAKER_01]: It was a forge rule.
[SPEAKER_00]: That's, they were good addition.
[SPEAKER_00]: Some armies, obviously, I have opinions on the game, but they were good.
[SPEAKER_00]: I like the addition of that.
[SPEAKER_00]: It made sense because there's such in the lore, there's such a major force in the Imperium.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's kind of weird to not have them in.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, it's just one of the armies that it makes sense because they actually are going across the galaxy trying to get technology.
[SPEAKER_00]: It makes everything about them being in the game makes sense.
[SPEAKER_01]: To be fair,
[SPEAKER_01]: They should probably mainly, I mean, it makes sense to be an army, but I think they make more sense and like, kill team actually because they do show up skirmishy.
[SPEAKER_00]: They do.
[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, it's usually like this because you could argue like, oh, if a world has something they want to, they would be coming up in there.
[SPEAKER_00]: But the irony that was actually they should, so actually you're both right and wrong.
[SPEAKER_00]: They should only be killed team and apocalypse.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, basically.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's like, they either show up with a couple dudes or three titans, you know, they show up with like a, a, a me, you know, a, you know, technical archeologists.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: I think you listen like three robots.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, to go to go grab something or they show up with we're going to conquer this world with everything.
[SPEAKER_01]: We have the titan legions.
[SPEAKER_00]: How many points at twenty thousand?
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't at least that doesn't seem fair.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's not.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, we don't.
[SPEAKER_00]: We aren't showing up.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I'd make don't fight there.
[SPEAKER_00]: All right, but let's, let's get, let's get to Bell Sarasco.
[SPEAKER_00]: So Bell Sarasco was actually born on Mars around the year, thirty one thousand.
[SPEAKER_00]: He, even at birth, he was unique amongst his peers.
[SPEAKER_00]: When made him unique, so all Martians were that born.
[SPEAKER_00]: This is, this is important because the amount of radiation on Mars at this time would have effectively made natural birth and possibly because as opposed to terror, which only got wiped out once, Mars got smoke showed.
[SPEAKER_00]: multiple times.
[SPEAKER_00]: He was born at the good point of Mars.
[SPEAKER_00]: Mars gets smoke showed again after his birth as a result of a horrors.
[SPEAKER_00]: But what happens is on Mars there's so much radiation that if you were to just leave it like natural birthing cycle, they would go extinct in like three generations.
[SPEAKER_01]: One of the biggest things on this tunnel is it's not even like they just do
[SPEAKER_01]: You know, babies and move up.
[SPEAKER_01]: They just, in a, they move that head.
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, you're literally a team.
[SPEAKER_00]: Let's have fun with this.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: So the mechanic for obvious reasons don't just do it.
[SPEAKER_00]: Light.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: And not a light touch.
[SPEAKER_00]: So they that grow everyone and they that grow them to teenagers and the whole time that they're in there, they just bombard them with knowledge.
[SPEAKER_00]: So the idea is that when born, you actually have all the knowledge to be a functioning member of society.
[SPEAKER_01]: They do both because they have implants early.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, right away.
[SPEAKER_01]: They give them.
[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
[SPEAKER_00]: But they also have.
[SPEAKER_00]: They actually have the screen on their face.
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah, but what's funny about that is that it doesn't work.
[SPEAKER_00]: You're like, like, ninety percent of people born on Mars, they come out of that, unable to speak.
[SPEAKER_00]: They have to be re-tutated, but they just plug them into something and give them the information.
[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, they download a matrix.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's purely a rip off the matrix, how this works.
[SPEAKER_00]: The whole idea, the problem with the mechanical is that this whole system doesn't actually work, but they sit there and do, because the mechanical really
[SPEAKER_00]: But they make the emperor look like Charlemagne, as far as being a good dad.
[SPEAKER_00]: It is insane.
[SPEAKER_00]: They could not care less about these vat grown.
[SPEAKER_00]: So what happens is they put all its effort in to educate them and doing all the stuff in the vat, and they come out of the vat, and if anything's missing, they jammed a wall, shoved something into their head, and then download the program.
[SPEAKER_01]: Also, I think it's hilarious that they also don't give even half of them actual names.
[SPEAKER_01]: No, there are numbers.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's all numbers.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's numbers.
[SPEAKER_01]: And or even if you get a name, it's your Jonesy seven eight seven eight five six seven eight.
[SPEAKER_00]: So it happens is that the call is a flip side of this.
[SPEAKER_00]: When he was born, he actually could speak, he actually, and he'd consumed all the knowledge while he was in the vet, which stood out.
[SPEAKER_00]: Because the thing about the Mechanicum II is that this is they're all somewhat interlinked with each other.
[SPEAKER_00]: The knowledge of call was spread around pretty quickly.
[SPEAKER_00]: And then within the Mechanicum, there became a competition for call.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, let's also talk, we've done, we talked about the MS before.
[SPEAKER_01]: And one of the biggest things is the majority of people in the ADMAC are glorified servitors.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, so you have
[SPEAKER_01]: But for every tech priest and thing like that, there's, let's just hungry.
[SPEAKER_00]: Let's call it up.
[SPEAKER_00]: The ad mech and the homonculi are not very distant.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I'm just saying.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's like it's it's one mad scientist when they bunch of servants whose brains are removed.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, are removed in time.
[SPEAKER_00]: So they could never betray them.
[SPEAKER_01]: Right, you've got a bunch of people with chips in their head, which you've got one guy who could have anywhere between ten and a thousand people that are linked to him.
[SPEAKER_00]: What's fun about the ad mechanism, and maybe we've touched this well enough, but I'm going to do it again as to make it clear, the ad mechanism is a collection of mad scientists with many armors.
[SPEAKER_00]: And each of these mad scientists are doing usually one task at a time, like the old R with the path.
[SPEAKER_00]: But unlike the elder who viewed their path as a way to help at, you know, it's kind of a communal path.
[SPEAKER_00]: The ad mech is not a communal path.
[SPEAKER_00]: Each of them is each ad mech scientist is convinced what they're researching is the most important thing for mankind and whatever one else is researching is stupid and pointless and won't work.
[SPEAKER_01]: In the world thing is its man's scientists that are also
[SPEAKER_01]: religious elements too.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, there's a lot going into this.
[SPEAKER_00]: And so he's going to suck.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, they really do.
[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, actually are in competition with the lords of terror and the ecclesiarchy for the worst part of and they could win.
[SPEAKER_01]: Sometimes forget how
[SPEAKER_01]: Brad, they all.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, the epic are horrifying.
[SPEAKER_00]: But anyway, so call, because of him being born like this, all of the ad mech magi or mago, sorry, all the ad mech magos were fought for in basically.
[SPEAKER_00]: They wanted him because they recognized this, this guy is a prodigy, and if I can bring him into my mad scientist world, it'll go really well.
[SPEAKER_00]: And the one who wins is a magos themed dominia.
[SPEAKER_00]: Hester, a Sparota, Sigma, Sigma.
[SPEAKER_00]: Apertilla.
[SPEAKER_00]: Apertilla, who works here called Apertilla from that one?
[SPEAKER_00]: Because I'm not saying that again, given I couldn't even say it right the first time.
[SPEAKER_00]: So Apertilla, and this is really important, by the way, Apertilla was focused on a unique method of preserving knowledge known as soul merging.
[SPEAKER_01]: This is actually legit.
[SPEAKER_01]: The way she comes about it is the stuff of horror movies.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, she's not a great person.
[SPEAKER_00]: But this is legit.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, so soul merging is where you transfer the consciousness of one being into another.
[SPEAKER_00]: Not like, you know, swapping it out, but just adding it.
[SPEAKER_00]: So in doing this, you effectively take all the memories, a knowledge of someone else and absorb them in an instant.
[SPEAKER_00]: So you could take
[SPEAKER_00]: In fact, by doing this multiple time, you could take hundreds or thousands of years of learning and get it instantly.
[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously, someone at GW watched the Matrix.
[SPEAKER_00]: Also, this is already other tech.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, obviously.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's everything that AdMek have is stolen technology.
[SPEAKER_00]: So this knowledge becomes ironic and very faithful for call, because he is a very independent mind among the Mechanicum.
[SPEAKER_00]: And you're going to assume there's going to be some soul Margie's new later.
[SPEAKER_00]: Call, and it calls actually one of the more positive, man doesn't have the error quotes there, members of the Mechanicum.
[SPEAKER_00]: He has a true belief, though.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: But different people believe he believes in the emperor of mankind.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, most of the
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, he believes Emperor is on the side.
[SPEAKER_00]: And he does believe that those two are one of the same.
[SPEAKER_00]: And he believes that the Emperor should rule over mankind as well as the mechanicum.
[SPEAKER_00]: And he also believes the Imperium's place is to conquer the galaxy.
[SPEAKER_00]: where call becomes a bit more heretical is actually in against the admec because call is looking around and watching the admec and their worshiping technology whereas calls of the belief that technology should serve mankind in the pursuit of concrete again exactly and where is that at the mechanical one to actually worship technology they feel that that they should be
[SPEAKER_00]: They should almost be subservient, that's the word, to technology.
[SPEAKER_00]: So, Cole wants to bring all this technology into heel to make the Imperium even more powerful.
[SPEAKER_00]: At the same time, though, it's not much as a good person.
[SPEAKER_00]: Call also as much as he believes in the Emperor and all the things the Emperor says and how we should follow the Emperor.
[SPEAKER_00]: He doesn't really want to be constrained by all of the rules of the Emperor.
[SPEAKER_01]: the ad Mac have their strict rules, which end up being the pirate code.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, the ad Mac have very, very strict rules, which are designed to that.
[SPEAKER_00]: If you later do something stupid, then we're going to point out, you know, how you broke all these rules.
[SPEAKER_00]: Book of rules, but then all your brain, but you're just ignores them.
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, the way to look at the ad Mac is it's basically the the ad Mac are
[SPEAKER_00]: Running a red light is illegal for the ad mech and they do it all day every day.
[SPEAKER_00]: But if you run a red light and hit a car, they're going to even take every running red light.
[SPEAKER_00]: But the cop who watched you run the red light wasn't going to give you a ticket to hit a car.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that's kind of how I look at the ad mech.
[SPEAKER_00]: And so the first thing called does is he masters this soul merging.
[SPEAKER_00]: He starts just merging random people into him.
[SPEAKER_00]: And now it's not this, by the way, isn't like always an evil thing.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's usually elderly.
[SPEAKER_00]: These are old magos or old, you know, servers, whatever, rid of the old scientists effectively.
[SPEAKER_00]: And as they're about to die, call will soul merge them into him.
[SPEAKER_00]: And this way, he's able to pick up massive amounts of information.
[SPEAKER_00]: The problem, and this is something that will dog him for his entire existence, is the amount of storage his brain had.
[SPEAKER_00]: So the first thing that Call starts doing is doing, these are exceptionally illegal, by the way.
[SPEAKER_00]: He starts running experiments on himself to artificially increase his mental capacity.
[SPEAKER_01]: I love it because if you know the game at all, Call's model on the board is giant.
[SPEAKER_01]: And he is
[SPEAKER_00]: point one percent.
[SPEAKER_00]: But he wasn't, this is what's funny.
[SPEAKER_00]: So at this point, you know, he, it's kind of starting, I think we'll take mega mind.
[SPEAKER_00]: That's like, that's my go because he's only experimenting with his head.
[SPEAKER_00]: That is true.
[SPEAKER_01]: He's just trying to increase mental capacity.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, he actually call.
[SPEAKER_00]: This this is a year thirty one thousand is talking crap on other if mechanical who are like putting all his weird like augments on their bike why and he's basically why would you do at why would you augment yourself you're already perfect he didn't have work on my team of the hypocrites no
[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
[SPEAKER_00]: You can actually, there's a picture in one of the codexes.
[SPEAKER_00]: I forget, but maybe a couple of them now of like a young call where he just got like a couple little bits of metal.
[SPEAKER_01]: Like a couple of ports.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's like, oh, yeah, just like that's a normal person.
[SPEAKER_00]: Look at the current model.
[SPEAKER_00]: He's a tank.
[SPEAKER_00]: He might be the, he might be bigger than a cast one robot.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, I think.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, yes.
[SPEAKER_00]: His model is.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's like, it's like, it's like when we talked to the Custodcast, the Custod model in the game is the same size of space, right?
[SPEAKER_00]: He's like, no, he's not.
[SPEAKER_01]: He's, uh, he's as big as a doom crawler.
[SPEAKER_00]: You know, you're right.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, he is fair enough.
[SPEAKER_00]: So, I mean, fast forward a little bit, Horace Harrisy.
[SPEAKER_00]: So, in the Horace Harrisy call gets caught up in a dark mechanic.
[SPEAKER_00]: And the reason why is that his mentor, a Persia, and partia, let me go to Persia, declared her allegiance to Horace.
[SPEAKER_00]: And call, by the way, is horrified of this, because he is a true believer in the Emperor.
[SPEAKER_00]: But he's also a survivor.
[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, Brad's got his own opinions this.
[SPEAKER_00]: Brad's view point is calls a heretic for doing this.
[SPEAKER_00]: I disagree, but call according to, well, I according to call as I, as I says, fair enough.
[SPEAKER_00]: According to his all.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: So we're going to read about his history and his own book that he wrote.
[SPEAKER_00]: That's true.
[SPEAKER_00]: It is we are taking, bringing the call autobiography.
[SPEAKER_00]: That's just making me immediately think of the Dave should pal bit.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: But you can go to story about yourself.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, man.
[SPEAKER_01]: He's probably going to come out.
[SPEAKER_00]: As the hero, I will find a courting to call.
[SPEAKER_00]: I would just call things his loyalty to Horace.
[SPEAKER_00]: And this happens because calls also not on Mars.
[SPEAKER_00]: He was on a forge road called Trisolian.
[SPEAKER_00]: And this forge road is was really, really important.
[SPEAKER_00]: The Trader legions, because it was just so heavily, you've got mineral wealth there, because of massive manufacturing.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's actually a world that went one hundred percent to court.
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, because horse personally conquered it.
[SPEAKER_00]: That's the thing.
[SPEAKER_00]: The horse showed up and so call, and this is why there's a cool thing about call, call physically looked at horse.
[SPEAKER_00]: Call has a memory of meeting Horace, chaos infused.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
[SPEAKER_01]: It wasn't also from far away.
[SPEAKER_00]: Horace was like, right there.
[SPEAKER_00]: And Horace talks to call.
[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
[SPEAKER_00]: And so what happens is call is horrified at what he's looking at because he's seeing.
[SPEAKER_00]: And remember, no one sees chaos corruption.
[SPEAKER_00]: They're all, I mean, call as a, as a high magos.
[SPEAKER_00]: And then the, at mec probably has read some stories about some stuff, but seeing a chaos infused primarck must have been a moment.
[SPEAKER_01]: So he's in Horace down the line.
[SPEAKER_01]: This is Horace when he's about to go to.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, this is not far before Horace coming.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, this isn't Horace.
[SPEAKER_00]: I just got out of the circuit law.
[SPEAKER_00]: This is Horace like in this section might be Horace post getting stabbed by.
[SPEAKER_00]: I think it is.
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't remember.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I don't remember.
[SPEAKER_00]: He's in but he's in but he's in but he's like like billowing chaos around him.
[SPEAKER_00]: So anyway, the opportunity presents itself a call at his loyal servant
[SPEAKER_00]: Friedish Adam ship Qvo.
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, we're in good Friday.
[SPEAKER_00]: There is no way you got close to any of them.
[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, but it's like these are written intentionally to make my life hard.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, like GW thought of they didn't realize it, but they they had a farcier like there's this guy John bar size the pronounce this crap at one time.
[SPEAKER_00]: Let's put weird vowel combinations together and see if his spelled out the accent can handle it.
[SPEAKER_01]: This is pretty funny though because they do, you don't want to pass over this because in this story, it is the lamest of death for her because effectively, just that they go, look, it's Elvis and just Sam.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's, yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: They did the my favorite thing.
[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, so I've been kickboxing most of my life.
[SPEAKER_00]: I still did you get to.
[SPEAKER_00]: I will occasionally say, oh my god, what's that?
[SPEAKER_00]: And see if someone will turn and then use that to pass their guard.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's very enjoyable.
[SPEAKER_00]: We all laugh afterwards.
[SPEAKER_00]: But that is really how it is.
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh my god, and she turned the stabber and they run away.
[SPEAKER_00]: So although before they ran away, call so merges with her and takes all of her knowledge.
[SPEAKER_00]: So he stabs her.
[SPEAKER_00]: She's dying.
[SPEAKER_00]: He goes, he like, let me hold on.
[SPEAKER_00]: He goes to hug her and absorbs her soul.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, like he's going to go hand really sorry, and then he's like, not really close.
[SPEAKER_00]: You all back.
[SPEAKER_00]: So call that point and free to run back to Tara.
[SPEAKER_00]: Now he's able to get back to Tara to Brad's point of being a heretic because he actually had an, I got him an invitation from Tara from a guy there named Ezekiel Sedane, who wanted to actually meet with him about the soul merging technology.
[SPEAKER_00]: So, Sedane is incredibly important for, actually, in the economic, even, he's astronomically important.
[SPEAKER_00]: Sedane is the director of the biotechnical division of the imperium, which is the division that oversees the creation of space.
[SPEAKER_01]: Let's say that's a long title that you could have just went.
[SPEAKER_01]: This dude's in charge of making new space.
[SPEAKER_00]: So he makes space.
[SPEAKER_00]: So he's the one, it was under him that the gene seed program was created.
[SPEAKER_00]: And obviously he's not the good at his job because twenty percent of the gene seeds don't work as we've discussed, but not important.
[SPEAKER_00]: Spitting acid, not important poison.
[SPEAKER_00]: So, to his credit, same was aware of the flaws in the Gen Z, and he wanted to do better.
[SPEAKER_00]: He knew that you could make a better space screen than he made, but Sedane is at this stage, ancient.
[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, he is.
[SPEAKER_01]: This way, call it had actually put papers out, basically, that said you can make a better space screen.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, or I can fix this process, as what he said, hypothetically.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and that's why sedane summoned him.
[SPEAKER_00]: Now, the truth is, is that sedane had an ulterior motive.
[SPEAKER_00]: Sedane because he's so ancient, he basically have him jammed, packed full of the most advanced life-preserving technology, and even that he's barely surviving.
[SPEAKER_00]: He reminds me of, uh, what's the guy in Rogue One?
[SPEAKER_00]: So in Star Wars Rogue One reason, he's like mostly machine at this point, just a kind of life.
[SPEAKER_00]: Everyone is talking about, and if you don't watch your own one, it's probably the best start with me.
[SPEAKER_00]: And so it's that level.
[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: And so Sedane actually his plan was to have, have called soul merge with him.
[SPEAKER_00]: Now not in a negative way.
[SPEAKER_00]: He wasn't a soul merge calling to him.
[SPEAKER_00]: He wanted to be so merged into call, because one thing we haven't mentioned about soul merging.
[SPEAKER_00]: So merging is not a transference of memories and knowledge.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's the entire consciousness.
[SPEAKER_00]: And this wouldn't really hard to explain.
[SPEAKER_00]: If it wasn't that amazing video game, you might have a couple years ago.
[SPEAKER_01]: Thanks.
[SPEAKER_01]: And for the fact that there's somebody that already takes me two seconds.
[SPEAKER_00]: We played Cyberpunk, twenty, twenty, four.
[SPEAKER_00]: If not, stop listening to our cast.
[SPEAKER_00]: Go play that game.
[SPEAKER_00]: And then come back to us.
[SPEAKER_00]: I'll see you in a few weeks.
[SPEAKER_01]: Do the ending now where you have to sit there forever.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, certainly way to get the good ending was those a new one now in the expansion.
[SPEAKER_00]: I just knew that you had to sit on the roof for you do that's the best ending of the wrong, but there's another ending now off of the DLC that came out, but it was last year.
[SPEAKER_01]: So the original
[SPEAKER_01]: bad.
[SPEAKER_00]: You're like, oh, right.
[SPEAKER_01]: There's three options.
[SPEAKER_00]: That's three options.
[SPEAKER_00]: That's a, that's, I actually like that.
[SPEAKER_00]: That's me.
[SPEAKER_00]: Anyway, if you played cyberpunk, the whole Johnny Silverhand taking over V's mind, that's a soul merge.
[SPEAKER_00]: We're only one personality is going to win out on the other one, but it's worse than the other one doesn't die.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's almost like we've been fooled.
[SPEAKER_01]: He lives in the background.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's terrible because you live in
[SPEAKER_01]: and you're basically watching your body get to move around.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Also, sedans, we don't, maybe I'm talking about it yet.
[SPEAKER_01]: I really think sedane is a hundred percent the entire time.
[SPEAKER_01]: Thinks he is going to take over.
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, it says that it says in the book, sedane is convinced.
[SPEAKER_00]: That's why sedamus, it's sedane once called to a soul merge with them because sedane calls a child, comparatively, right in age.
[SPEAKER_01]: So he said it, but I don't think they went into enough because he, he does, I feel like,
[SPEAKER_01]: He's wildly like, like, this isn't even going to be a good thing.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, what was today?
[SPEAKER_00]: And yesterday and actually, this is why how about it?
[SPEAKER_00]: So Sedane was so convinced he would win that he assumed call knew that and has to, and he had to force call into doing this.
[SPEAKER_00]: That's how convinced Sedane was.
[SPEAKER_00]: This would work.
[SPEAKER_00]: So that's what he does.
[SPEAKER_00]: So as they arrive on terrace, Sedane has his assistant shoot calls best friend.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, fried us.
[SPEAKER_00]: And then he tells Call, they he'll resurrect Friedish, but only if Call does a soul merge.
[SPEAKER_00]: Call goes, yeah, okay, man, no problem.
[SPEAKER_01]: I was going to do that anyways.
[SPEAKER_00]: Exactly.
[SPEAKER_00]: So, so they do it.
[SPEAKER_00]: Sedane then has the ultimate nightmare.
[SPEAKER_00]: He, these soul merges and discovers pretty quickly that Call's personality is like a three-time multi-year-old.
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, it was a day-old.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: And so, you know, my thing about this is, and I know they say they said he said I didn't, I just think they didn't get into his,
[SPEAKER_01]: wild ability of over confidence versus the fact that call it already done this multiple times.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, so he knows how to go about it and cause a full aware of all of his thesis call also just did a so much on his mentor.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but I'm saying he's done it on more powerful people than saying that one thing I will call out is that
[SPEAKER_00]: It does later in his life, this does become a problem for call, because there will be moments where sedamed or one of their soul merges, do come back to the foreround for certain periods of time, and then call has to knock them back down.
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, and it's usually when he's really tired.
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, say, it would be tired, or when the Emperor specifically went, I'm going to talk to him.
[SPEAKER_01]: And you went, oh, this guy's bananas more powerful than me.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, so that's actually Brad's getting a really cool story.
[SPEAKER_00]: So one of the best parts of this is that when called absorbs all the memories of sedane, he starts experiencing them.
[SPEAKER_00]: And he has a really key one during the unification wars, which when the emperor was fighting on Terra, sedane was with the emperor, because this is when the, this means so.
[SPEAKER_00]: Project is coming up because I think sedane made it in part of the Thunder Warriors too.
[SPEAKER_00]: The emperor at one point turns the sedane to give him a message of a purpose he's going to accomplish, but he doesn't say sedane.
[SPEAKER_00]: The emperor addresses call, looking at sedane because the emperor knew that one day call would take over sedane's memories.
[SPEAKER_00]: And the emperor tells call,
[SPEAKER_00]: A really scary thing.
[SPEAKER_00]: He says that he's going to take up the works, started by Sedane.
[SPEAKER_00]: And he was his purpose was to keep working a space-marrying project and see it to full completion.
[SPEAKER_00]: But he gave him a warning.
[SPEAKER_00]: And he said the Emperor tells Call that his work to keep doing his work even to the day where Call feels that he had betrayed the Emperor and everything the Emperor had ever stood for.
[SPEAKER_00]: Remember, call is a absolute true believer in the Emperor.
[SPEAKER_00]: He, this is kind of horrifying for him to hear this, but it is his God telling him to do something.
[SPEAKER_00]: So, all right.
[SPEAKER_00]: Sorry, we're going to fast forward to that.
[SPEAKER_00]: from there because that's really kind of the end of of calls bit in the harrisie because the harrisians calls not playing a key role he basically called back and stuff happened and he was making up caps yet we don't know actually what call was really he plays no key role in defense of terror but he does get well promoted after this point pretty far up within the mechanic
[SPEAKER_00]: After the fall, he then, Gilliman obviously takes over because all the other primarks go on to boots and mighty ass kicking journey.
[SPEAKER_00]: And Gilliman's like, hey, maybe we should, I don't know, do a little bit of rebuilding and they're out some shut up, shut up nerd.
[SPEAKER_00]: He had these blood offered to the galaxy.
[SPEAKER_00]: So Gilliman's left behind, like, fine, I'll fix it.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's hard to building those.
[SPEAKER_00]: So he's the Lord Commander of the Apparium.
[SPEAKER_00]: And what Gilliman then does is Gilliman actually finds calling polls on the side.
[SPEAKER_00]: And says to him, he's going to give call another task because call is just loading up with side quests.
[SPEAKER_01]: And this one, this is a boss.
[SPEAKER_01]: Side quiz though.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, these are these are what you're three side quests.
[SPEAKER_01]: These are these are the favorite.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah, true.
[SPEAKER_00]: These are these are DLC side quests.
[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, let's see.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's what we have each of these is.
[SPEAKER_00]: their own deal each of these is like forty hour dlc they're adding on top of a game so the first one is he tells call he has to make a special suit of armor known as the armor of fate and it's a special suit of armor that could preserve the life of the wear almost like a phoenix armor but
[SPEAKER_01]: And you're supposed to save what you are inside him.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's what you've also, but where's the Phoenix armor you can die wearing Phoenix armor, this one's meant to actually resurrect you back.
[SPEAKER_00]: The other one is he just hands call the Emperor's sword, which is a sword that the Emperor, I think, gave Gilliman and it has a piece of the Emperor's essence inside of it.
[SPEAKER_00]: It is the most powerful weapon in the entire Imperium.
[SPEAKER_00]: Not so much on a tabletop.
[SPEAKER_01]: still wildly better than your brain sword versus the lower versus stable top.
[SPEAKER_01]: Right, but I was just still doing dev loads of damage fair.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's slow to power source.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but what I'm saying is I just going to go ahead and say this.
[SPEAKER_00]: The sword with the emperor inside of it should probably do a little bit more damage to chaos beings.
[SPEAKER_00]: Sure, it's still not as sucky as your brains.
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah, it's not even close, but I just like it feels like I've got this sword in my hand that is the emperor in it.
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm fighting a demon prime mark.
[SPEAKER_00]: I feel like if I touch said demon prime mark.
[SPEAKER_00]: Send them back to where.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, you're now off the board.
[SPEAKER_00]: This is also kind of a big ask.
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, but call just takes a Gilman, effectively entrusted the entire future of the Imperium to call.
[SPEAKER_00]: And he knows this because if he were to die, Gilman were to die, he needs call to help raise an army that would see the Imperium through the darkness and effectively save humanity.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Spoiler.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
[SPEAKER_00]: That's exactly what it does.
[SPEAKER_00]: We'll be right back after a quick break.
[SPEAKER_00]: So now I move past the heresy.
[SPEAKER_00]: So call then spends the next like ten thousand years on one of the most aggressive knowledge hunts in history because the problem is that he was given this task.
[SPEAKER_00]: First off, you know, to make an armor of fate and to improve space marines, that technology didn't exist right now.
[SPEAKER_01]: So he has to go and he's also find it.
[SPEAKER_01]: He does not come across as the nicest of guys because call is pretty brutal about call is now single and purpose.
[SPEAKER_00]: And so over this time, first off, this is where call starts to change himself mentally and physically.
[SPEAKER_00]: So he has to keep living.
[SPEAKER_00]: So his whole thing of, like, you guys are weird with your, with your, sorry, I'm not going to answer this.
[SPEAKER_00]: That's, that's the way.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: He's also makes himself into a double, large, dread not.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: He's about three to four times a size of what he should be now because he just all machinery.
[SPEAKER_01]: He's a huge walker.
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, what I like about the stories on to is he's so heavily machinery that, like, machine spirits actually notice his presence when he gets near, like, even, like, there's stories of, like, nights will, like, turn their head.
[SPEAKER_00]: Like, it tightens, will turn.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, even in victims, that's why he buffs people.
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, let's say, but when he walks past him, a dormant night just standing there will shift a little bit, just because of his presence.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, the best part about it, all the things he has and going into that is he can just instantly interact.
[SPEAKER_01]: Like, you don't have any sort of security that he won't instantly bypass.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, he walks out the machinery and just like this.
[SPEAKER_00]: The other thing called those that's really important is he turns his brain into a super computer.
[SPEAKER_00]: Like he because what he's doing is that I want to set the stage really well for this.
[SPEAKER_00]: What call is doing?
[SPEAKER_00]: He has to make an armor of fate.
[SPEAKER_00]: He has to make better space Marines.
[SPEAKER_00]: The only way to do that is he has to make legions of better space.
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, he has the first make with how do you make a better space screen?
[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
[SPEAKER_00]: So he has to go out and there's, and the ad Mac are finding artifacts all over the galaxy, STC's, whatever it is.
[SPEAKER_00]: He has to interface with all of them, digest that knowledge, see how it interacts with other pieces and decide if it's good or if that's what he's just taking endless amounts of information.
[SPEAKER_00]: The problem is that his brain
[SPEAKER_00]: just can't handle this.
[SPEAKER_00]: So when he ends up having to do is actually is download his psyche into like storage units.
[SPEAKER_00]: And the reason he has to do this, like should have mentioned earlier, is call can't trust anyone else on this.
[SPEAKER_00]: What call is doing if you were to fall in the hands of the arch enemy?
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, they would make the better super soldiers win.
[SPEAKER_00]: Also, he just saw the heresy happens.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, he sees a call and
[SPEAKER_00]: That could your point.
[SPEAKER_00]: His mentor fell to Harris.
[SPEAKER_00]: He so call is really focused on not letting anyone get this information.
[SPEAKER_01]: He's also does the whole Egyptian pyramid builders kind of thing where he's like, thanks for helping me with this project.
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh he kills everybody.
[SPEAKER_00]: Every body who he comes through.
[SPEAKER_00]: But what I like about is that he build these encrypted data banks and every five hundred years he unloads all of the information that he doesn't find currently relevant into them.
[SPEAKER_00]: But he can plug himself in doing whatever he needs to.
[SPEAKER_00]: So this way he can just keep consuming information.
[SPEAKER_00]: This does have some downsides, though.
[SPEAKER_00]: Sometimes when he does this, for example, one of the people he's so merge will come back to the foreground for a period of time.
[SPEAKER_00]: He's also accidentally deleted himself a few times on his own brain, because he's forgotten who he was.
[SPEAKER_00]: Luckily, he also made pseudo clones of himself.
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, that happens when you're a tank.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: So sometimes you gotta go with, oh, yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, is he more tank or is he more dread not?
[SPEAKER_00]: He is, that's a tough call.
[SPEAKER_00]: I think he's more, he's more dreadnought because he has a consciousness.
[SPEAKER_00]: That's the thing, the tanks are just machine spirits, not even all of them.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I can give you that.
[SPEAKER_00]: He's just, he's so large.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I mean, I just think functionally he's a dreadnought, but you're completely right.
[SPEAKER_00]: He's not, he is a,
[SPEAKER_00]: Sorry, he's functionally attacked.
[SPEAKER_00]: He acts like a dread not because he's a walker.
[SPEAKER_01]: He's got everything.
[SPEAKER_01]: He's got the core.
[SPEAKER_00]: So I do like a call though.
[SPEAKER_00]: He also makes kind of many versions of himself.
[SPEAKER_00]: So what he's got is, this is funny.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, that occasionally, so call makes a bunch of versions of himself that are supposed to be his servitors, but a bunch of them get to the level of consciousness, and then he mercilessly slaps them out.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, he happens, he kind of, well, this is why I like call, call makes these assistants that are like pseudo clones of himself.
[SPEAKER_00]: like their servers, but as servers, not very smart.
[SPEAKER_00]: So he keeps like adding intelligence to them, adding intelligence to them.
[SPEAKER_00]: Absolutely.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, until he actually realized his edge of AI, they are full on it.
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, they're full on it.
[SPEAKER_00]: But to your point, we does, if he does that, and then all of a sudden he realizes that it's a clone of himself, which is a problem, so he has to kill it.
[SPEAKER_00]: And he does this a lot because he makes this mistake.
[SPEAKER_00]: He has that fear word that line is.
[SPEAKER_00]: He always goes past line and crap and murder next one.
[SPEAKER_00]: And so he lives this little world where he's got a bunch of hymps all around and they'll deal to date with each other.
[SPEAKER_00]: And the story is hilarious by that.
[SPEAKER_00]: If you read him correctly, they're very, very funny.
[SPEAKER_00]: Now the other the flip side of call though is
[SPEAKER_00]: He, like any leader of the Imperium, has done a lot of horrible things.
[SPEAKER_00]: All of it, because Carl really only has one purpose.
[SPEAKER_00]: And that is, you know, what you two purposes.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's new space Marines armor of fate.
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, and also don't lose the Emperor's sword.
[SPEAKER_00]: So that's what he's up to.
[SPEAKER_00]: Because of this, he doesn't care what he has to do to achieve it.
[SPEAKER_00]: What makes him even more dangerous, though, is that within the ADMEC, he has incredible prominence.
[SPEAKER_00]: Wild support.
[SPEAKER_00]: Every one of the ADMEC.
[SPEAKER_01]: What he keeps doing is no one knows what the hell he's doing.
[SPEAKER_01]: But he just keeps showing up going, hey, here's a bunch of new tech.
[SPEAKER_01]: Everybody can have it.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, see they're all like, okay.
[SPEAKER_00]: And like this is my favorite person.
[SPEAKER_00]: And so what happens is all of the admit, no, the call is a master of finding STCs in our geotech.
[SPEAKER_00]: So whenever he wants to do anything, he just says, hey, I need a Titan Legion and people here have mine.
[SPEAKER_00]: Can I have your scraps, please?
[SPEAKER_00]: And he's like, yeah, sure, why not?
[SPEAKER_00]: So what he's able to do is just wipe out entire areas.
[SPEAKER_00]: And let's just say there's a lot of Zeno species who are not in the game because of call because they either had technology he wanted or were on a planet that had something that he wanted or give it the other one.
[SPEAKER_01]: He thought you might
[SPEAKER_00]: The other one I like to is the call goes into the warp to get stuff, which that's the ultimate no-no.
[SPEAKER_00]: Like the ink was like, they're like, you like, you like started the soft job with correct phrase, heretic.
[SPEAKER_00]: He's not a heretic.
[SPEAKER_00]: He's just, he's heretic adjacent.
[SPEAKER_00]: Heretic adjacent.
[SPEAKER_00]: That's where he's at right now.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: If the inquisition knew what call was doing, they would have murdered it.
[SPEAKER_01]: In my mind, he's just on your street.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: And Abaddon lives next door.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's like one of those areas where like one side of the street is one state and one of those street to the other state.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's like, yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: We've got different zip codes.
[SPEAKER_00]: Everybody, then you're at my house.
[SPEAKER_00]: Exactly.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: So, the other one though, that is a bit more aggressive, is there's a lot of human lives that have been snuffed out by call.
[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, individuals, settlements, worlds, systems, these have all been destroyed by call, realizing there's something there that he wants or needs.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, it's also when he starts working on stuff, there he's big on.
[SPEAKER_00]: No.
[SPEAKER_00]: The only thing to see is what I'm doing.
[SPEAKER_00]: The only defense I'll give of call in that is that he's wildly successful in this.
[SPEAKER_00]: So what he's doing into the work to grab stuff, he's wiping out humans, the human settlements.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's for good.
[SPEAKER_00]: He does achieve his goal.
[SPEAKER_01]: But also the no witnesses policy is pretty big.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: So by the end of the fortieth millennia, call has achieved almost all of his goals.
[SPEAKER_00]: The armor of fate is completed, although he's not a hundred percent if it, if it, if it works, but he, it also only will work if a primary Wednesday, which is the problem.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: That's a flip side.
[SPEAKER_00]: He's also found a way to make new space marines.
[SPEAKER_00]: So, ten thousand years of research, he creates the primary Marine.
[SPEAKER_00]: They're bigger, they're stronger, they're faster.
[SPEAKER_00]: He also is able to make new equipment for them, better guns, better armor, new drug knots randomly, better vehicles, everything, everything that comes out.
[SPEAKER_00]: And all, but the only problem he has is he's built a new legion of space Marines.
[SPEAKER_00]: And it's like, this is a key thing that that needs to be me to focus on.
[SPEAKER_00]: He's built these new space Marines.
[SPEAKER_00]: He's got no equipment.
[SPEAKER_00]: The issue is that there's no way to actually introduce some of the legion.
[SPEAKER_01]: Let's go back just to smidge on that.
[SPEAKER_01]: Because not only is he making bigger stir and faster space Marines, he's doing it faster and better.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, he's wildly faster.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, everything about their primary sparring is an improvement, including equipment.
[SPEAKER_00]: The problem, though, is there a very serious silent hostility between the ad-mic and the space.
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, it's telling something.
[SPEAKER_00]: They don't actually actively go to war with each other, but if he were, if, if, if call were to show up, let's not even use space wolves because that's just, I was just going to go there with David Russell.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but I think we're not even responsible.
[SPEAKER_01]: But it's not really silent if leaving us around.
[SPEAKER_01]: He'll just be like, if you guys come within my sight, I will attack you.
[SPEAKER_00]: I won't murder you.
[SPEAKER_00]: But he reminds me, even if he were to go to Calgar.
[SPEAKER_00]: If he were to go to the fists, I mean, God forbid it.
[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, imagine him walking up to, is it Ulrich, who's the Black Templar?
[SPEAKER_00]: The head of the Black Templar?
[SPEAKER_00]: No, that's Ulrich the Slayer's the Spacewoman.
[SPEAKER_00]: No, who's the Helbert Helbert.
[SPEAKER_00]: Helbert, Helbert, which is murder him.
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Heard it dead instantly.
[SPEAKER_00]: He would kill him.
[SPEAKER_00]: So he's got a problem.
[SPEAKER_00]: He's got this.
[SPEAKER_00]: He's got a force that could save humanity.
[SPEAKER_00]: He can't introduce it to the space Marines because they would murder him and probably murder all of the force because he can't tell anybody.
[SPEAKER_01]: How did you go about this?
[SPEAKER_01]: Exactly.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, don't worry about it.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, the good news is that, not really good news, but the news is Aberdon just exploded back into the galaxy and all imperial forces are being called the Cadia.
[SPEAKER_01]: doesn't work.
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, it does to a point.
[SPEAKER_01]: So Katie stands.
[SPEAKER_00]: This story.
[SPEAKER_00]: So this next bit here is going to involve a couple different books that you should be reading.
[SPEAKER_00]: Anyway, like all of the Imperium call is brought to Katie in the defense of it because this is this is the end of the thirteen's Black Crusades.
[SPEAKER_00]: So at this point, Abadon just goes all in on the table and brings everybody out of the work.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, he brings everything, but the kitchen's saying, yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Call shows up and I have to give him credit.
[SPEAKER_01]: This is a cool thing.
[SPEAKER_01]: Call shows up with his flagship.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, which is the Ark Mechanicus, which is the largest ship with a buggy.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's the largest non-goofy thing.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, it's all the executor from Star Wars.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's so just gigantic.
[SPEAKER_00]: But it's also not just big.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's also powerful.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's got weaponry that can pull down fleets by itself.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, when he first engages stuff, he just instantly wipes one of the incursion fleets by himself.
[SPEAKER_01]: This ship literally shows up and goes,
[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, everybody's dead.
[SPEAKER_01]: What was the threat?
[SPEAKER_01]: I was supposed to take care of like that was it.
[SPEAKER_01]: He's like, Oh, never mind.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, his ship showed up and he basically, you know, for those who played games on PC, he'd be right a mod and just been invincible.
[SPEAKER_00]: He might press white alcohol.
[SPEAKER_00]: That was easy.
[SPEAKER_00]: Interesting thing, though, is that when he arrives in the chaos system, he's met by a somewhat unwelcome guest.
[SPEAKER_00]: There's a Harley Quinn shadows here.
[SPEAKER_00]: just appears in front of them because this is what this is what Harley Quinn's do and tells him hey don't go to Kadia before you go to Kadia if you go to Ariad for and just that's it and Harley Quinn's always kind of speaking of it in a little bit of mystery whatever you want to call it they never give you the whole story yeah yeah just go there there's always the there's a big communication we talked about this in the other on the cast
[SPEAKER_01]: Elder have inflection and everything else and there's so much faster.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, you're right.
[SPEAKER_00]: The Hulk and probably did give him all the information.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah
[SPEAKER_00]: To his credit, call nodes with a hard look when is, especially a hard look when Shadows here.
[SPEAKER_00]: So you recognize that it's probably not a trap.
[SPEAKER_00]: And this is important.
[SPEAKER_00]: So he does.
[SPEAKER_00]: He goes down to Ariad for.
[SPEAKER_00]: Ariad for was an imperial base that the imperial banded eight thousand years ago during Abidans fourth crusade.
[SPEAKER_01]: This is actually one of the things that Abidans did is part of his fourth crusade, because we did this in the Abidans cast, which a bunch of his crusades were setting up
[SPEAKER_00]: This is one of them.
[SPEAKER_00]: So down on Ariad, call discovery, it's actually in Necron, too, world.
[SPEAKER_00]: And more importantly, there's those black pylons that are all over Katie are here.
[SPEAKER_00]: And he's able to really discover what they really are.
[SPEAKER_00]: These are constructs from the Necrons, from the war in heaven.
[SPEAKER_00]: And these pylons when activated can create a web that's sever the material from the amitarium.
[SPEAKER_00]: This is like this is basically war ending technology for the Imperium and they've been hanging out next to it and like random and hero guards that have been like graffiti which is so funny.
[SPEAKER_01]: They're not they're the ultimate weapon against chaos.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but they weren't meant for that.
[SPEAKER_01]: They were the screw elder and they're psychic
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, it's also in screw the old ones.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it was, yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: And I laughed because I think again, this actually isn't canon, but I just have to assume that the one's on Katie, I've been like graffitied.
[SPEAKER_00]: You know, guys, they're just like messing around with it.
[SPEAKER_00]: Like, you know, like, stretch teenagers, climb them and jump off.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's one of those things, like, some of the skateboards that are doing all these off of it.
[SPEAKER_00]: You know, and then so call, look at this, Ed just goes, oh, crap.
[SPEAKER_00]: goes back to his ship and be lines for Katie.
[SPEAKER_01]: And also, hey, guys, for the last ten thousand years, you could have pushed the on button and closed the entire entire area.
[SPEAKER_00]: And we would have none of these problems.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, exactly.
[SPEAKER_01]: None.
[SPEAKER_01]: Like, hey, how do we fix chaos?
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, I pushed the button.
[SPEAKER_00]: First that, but yeah, push these three buttons here.
[SPEAKER_00]: It works.
[SPEAKER_00]: So we don't have time to dive into him on this cast.
[SPEAKER_00]: Trasin.
[SPEAKER_00]: Trasin, the infinite.
[SPEAKER_00]: read the book such a good book read the book it's it's fantastic and then the divine yeah isn't it's a great book so traison was an overlord of the necrons who was also a historian before he went into the deep sleep there's an issue with his sleep and he awakens massively early and then spends a bunch of time traveling around the galaxy uncovering its secrets but more importantly taking souvenirs including an inquisitor named grafax cool hat get to her in a second
[SPEAKER_00]: So, while fiddling around with the pylons on Cadia, call is confronted by Trasin and it's a very funny scene that I'm not going to ruin.
[SPEAKER_00]: You should definitely read the book because call just starts yelling at Trasin and Trasin just like, yeah, anyway.
[SPEAKER_01]: So Carl is just annoyed that he's not helping when do what he's doing.
[SPEAKER_01]: Not even weird at all that there's a Necron here.
[SPEAKER_00]: He's just like, it takes me, it first to the thing is that first, I'm gonna run this for everybody.
[SPEAKER_00]: Sorry guys, at first, Carl thinks Treason is an L-DAR because he's not even looking at him.
[SPEAKER_00]: He just keeps in his profile for it.
[SPEAKER_00]: He's busy and then Treason says he looks back up and goes, oh crap, you're a Necron.
[SPEAKER_00]: And Treason just like, yeah, anyway, you'll make sure I had to turn this thing on and Carl goes, yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: So because Trason has decided that effectively the galaxy falling to chaos would be bad for Necrons, bad for him and just kind of an overall bummer.
[SPEAKER_01]: The best part of the bottom is the only reason he wants to do it is he's like, hey, they can't take over the galaxy.
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to take over the galaxy.
[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm going to undermine this.
[SPEAKER_00]: So he does two things.
[SPEAKER_00]: He shows call how to reactivate, how to act with all the pylons.
[SPEAKER_00]: And also, like, just gives inquisitive grafax back to the galaxy.
[SPEAKER_00]: He just, he just, I'm free.
[SPEAKER_01]: It was cute.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it was fun.
[SPEAKER_00]: It just goes, oh, yeah, you can, you can be free now.
[SPEAKER_00]: But he did, not my memory, but read the book.
[SPEAKER_00]: It is quite funny what he does the gray facts.
[SPEAKER_00]: Anyway, because gray facts for the record was an inquisitor that let's just say when she went missing, the other inquisitors were super happy about because she was a psychopath.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: She showed up and you're like, oh, so you're here to ruin everything.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: It was a great fact.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's an absolute chest of the imperial rule.
[SPEAKER_00]: She anyone she mildly deems is heretical and anything can be heretical.
[SPEAKER_00]: Like not saying this pronouncing something.
[SPEAKER_01]: You know, it's just about to go with that.
[SPEAKER_01]: There is one.
[SPEAKER_01]: One of the stories over is someone mispronounces something and she just shoots.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: If you had a lisp, you cannot be around her.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: She murders you instantly.
[SPEAKER_00]: She's also in the flip side, one of the most powerful psychers in the imperial.
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, he also joke took her.
[SPEAKER_00]: She lost bad.
[SPEAKER_00]: She lost bad at her rules.
[SPEAKER_00]: Sock by the way, given all those things.
[SPEAKER_00]: Add again great model rules are like most powerful cycle in the galaxy.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, she does okay.
[SPEAKER_00]: So anyway, the act of getting the pylons online by call is is kind of this classic epic sci-fi because as they get going,
[SPEAKER_00]: Abid on figures about what they're doing and be lines at them.
[SPEAKER_00]: So the book is it's the gathering storm, the fall of Cadia.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's one of the better books.
[SPEAKER_00]: So go ahead and read it.
[SPEAKER_00]: So I, as you could assume, you know, Abid on the throw is full forces that call, and it's a really cool thing because all the forces of the Imperium know, also find out what calls do you.
[SPEAKER_00]: They see going to act through these Pilons.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's going to win the war.
[SPEAKER_00]: So guardsmen after guardsmen throw themselves into like possessed.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, they also are winning, starting to win back, except for the fact that Avidon goes, yeah, I'll just, not yet.
[SPEAKER_00]: Let's get, let's get, I'm going to, because the story, the story is epic, because what happens is,
[SPEAKER_00]: So what ends up happening is the imperial forces basically decide to jam the woodchipper.
[SPEAKER_00]: They just throw themselves at me.
[SPEAKER_00]: And this is Abid on full force.
[SPEAKER_00]: He lands, and one of the best scenes is Abid on lands himself to come deal with this problem.
[SPEAKER_00]: And as he rushes forward, saints Celestine appears and appears as Abid on slicing with a sword, she parries it with hers.
[SPEAKER_00]: fun to side note though on that.
[SPEAKER_00]: So Saint Celestine is now fighting Abidon.
[SPEAKER_00]: Grafax looks over at this and pulls her pistol out to you.
[SPEAKER_00]: Celestine.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, because Celestine is a demon.
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, I mean, he's just not wrong.
[SPEAKER_00]: Celestine's a demon and it's only because trays and action steps in front of her and goes, what are you doing?
[SPEAKER_01]: If you're in an audio books, the guy that does this audio book is fantastic.
[SPEAKER_00]: Is he good?
[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I really liked it.
[SPEAKER_00]: But this whole bit is really funny of like, she then has to have like, like, trays and literally has to have a chat with her about like, what are you doing?
[SPEAKER_00]: Like, you're out of your mind.
[SPEAKER_00]: He's like, you're super crazy.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, you need to get you pull your head and it's hot out of your ass.
[SPEAKER_00]: What are you doing?
[SPEAKER_00]: So anyway, fast forward call activates the pilots.
[SPEAKER_00]: And the second he does all the demons surrounding Abadam disappear.
[SPEAKER_00]: They're, they're, they're, they're just disappear.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's pretty brutal.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, Abadam's forces themselves are weak because it now they're just space Marines, which is still not a just, but they are, they're massively outnumbered.
[SPEAKER_00]: They only have power of the warp.
[SPEAKER_00]: Interestingly, so is Celestean.
[SPEAKER_00]: So Celestine and Abadon's battle gets a little bit more fun.
[SPEAKER_00]: He starts winning, then she stabs him.
[SPEAKER_00]: Anyway, Abadon has to call the retreat, and he leaves Cadia, but he decides that, you know, screw you.
[SPEAKER_00]: This isn't, I ain't going out like this.
[SPEAKER_00]: And crashes.
[SPEAKER_00]: his blackstone forces say it's not a ship.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's a blackstone.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's a blackstone.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's probably the blackstone forces is probably a what third the size of Cadia.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, so he crashes into Cadia breaking Cadia into pieces and breaking the pylons up.
[SPEAKER_00]: So
[SPEAKER_01]: recalling that that's not the news until he went.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, like it just drive this in here.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, blow it up.
[SPEAKER_00]: Also, it could have done that five thousand years ago.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: It did any point.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, then he actually brings the bigger the arcs.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: But you're bigger than the black stuff, more chances.
[SPEAKER_00]: So anyway, at this point, call and in the survivors organized like an ad hockey evacuation of K. Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: And they do this is why we have cadence in the game.
[SPEAKER_00]: Millions are taken off world and awaiting ships back into Imperial spaces, which I'm glad they did because otherwise I wouldn't have cast her
[SPEAKER_00]: which I enjoy playing gas seconds and cadence.
[SPEAKER_00]: So, but the problem is that there's two issues with this.
[SPEAKER_00]: First, the eye of terror explodes and becomes the rift, which makes warp travel impossible.
[SPEAKER_01]: The rope is just... Well, it's based warp travel around there.
[SPEAKER_01]: So, that's right.
[SPEAKER_01]: Right there.
[SPEAKER_01]: Right there is a big, big right there.
[SPEAKER_01]: The eye of terror, we go from the eye of terror to the rift, but the rift effectively cuts the galaxy in half.
[SPEAKER_00]: And this creep, but it also creates incredible tumultuousness in the work everywhere.
[SPEAKER_00]: So as they're escaping, they can't just escape these ships and then, you know, they have to go in hot percentage.
[SPEAKER_00]: So they have to go manually.
[SPEAKER_00]: Abid on, by the way, is not done.
[SPEAKER_00]: So he's yes, he lost his blackstone fortress, but he's stuck at the rest of his fleet begins pursuing the cadence.
[SPEAKER_00]: And this escape, tall takes his ship, the arc mechanic is and literally just turns it around and runs it straight out of bed and firing the whole way.
[SPEAKER_00]: It gets destroyed, but it takes out a nice percentage of Aberdon's fleet and this gives it gives the rest of the cadence fleeing enough time to get away.
[SPEAKER_01]: Which is funny because they had to take it seriously because they were going to ignore it.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: And then he like his first couple shots just rip.
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Abadans like was going to ignore like, why is this ship coming at us and like, Oh, God.
[SPEAKER_00]: Like flagships just just disintegrate.
[SPEAKER_01]: They just went right through their shields.
[SPEAKER_01]: He's like, Oh, so we have to do.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Just delays them enough.
[SPEAKER_00]: But calling his merry crew is like the column here.
[SPEAKER_00]: They were trapped.
[SPEAKER_00]: They have to evacuate this ship and they land on this frozen moon called Crisis.
[SPEAKER_00]: Once they land on classes, they're effectively doomed.
[SPEAKER_00]: Because when you say frozen moon, I don't mean like frozen like half.
[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, we're talking nightmare, ice storms, like wind, nothing lives there.
[SPEAKER_00]: This is the end.
[SPEAKER_00]: They're landing and they're basically going to they're going to die there.
[SPEAKER_00]: If it weren't for the fact that Abadan is coming down to make sure they die a lot faster.
[SPEAKER_01]: Also, we kind of forgot to mention, every name character is coming out of them.
[SPEAKER_00]: So on the moon is call, gray facts who's still coming in terms of crap, Saint Celestine, Marshall Amherick of the Black Templars, I think you have a Randy when they're just stuck there.
[SPEAKER_00]: There's so many named characters.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Good news is, Zionari cast.
[SPEAKER_00]: So guess what's it about to happen?
[SPEAKER_00]: Surprise.
[SPEAKER_00]: Surprise.
[SPEAKER_00]: There's a web way.
[SPEAKER_00]: Unclasses.
[SPEAKER_00]: Not only is there a web way.
[SPEAKER_00]: There's a web way.
[SPEAKER_00]: Three feet from where called the team was standing.
[SPEAKER_00]: They land the crash land get out of the ship.
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh my god, however we're gonna survive, and then you're brain, eldride, just gonna pop out of a web, where you go, hey guys, you should just come with, come with me.
[SPEAKER_01]: I just assume they gave you the Terminator line.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, yeah, come with me if you want to live.
[SPEAKER_00]: That's what pissed me off.
[SPEAKER_00]: GW should have written, come with me if you want to live.
[SPEAKER_00]: Instead, they wrote, your brain gives this massive, impassioned speech about how we're allies in this.
[SPEAKER_00]: And if you come with me, we can do blah, blah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Just say, come with me if you want to live.
[SPEAKER_00]: Let everyone enjoy themselves.
[SPEAKER_00]: Although I will happily die on the hill at Termiere II was the worst of the first three Terminator movies.
[SPEAKER_01]: Terminator the first one's the best.
[SPEAKER_00]: How'd you like the third?
[SPEAKER_00]: It's close to the plot twist at the third we're like they've destroyed skyd up the ideas you can never you can't you can't you can't you can't defeat fate this idea that's why I like the third so much and also the acting's like you're a better like Holy yeah, we're giving Schwartz nigger twenty more years of acting experience being a little bit better in the third one the first one to the two mains were really good
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's really good movie.
[SPEAKER_00]: Anyway, if you want to come to the discord and debate the terminators, that's fine.
[SPEAKER_01]: Smash on this.
[SPEAKER_01]: T. Two's wildly the most popular movie.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's not it's the worst of them.
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm just saying it's the well, no, it's not the worst of them.
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, yeah, it's not the worst of you.
[SPEAKER_01]: There's a. I actually, like, salvation.
[SPEAKER_01]: I'll fight you for that one.
[SPEAKER_00]: That the fourth one.
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, it's the one with Christian bail.
[SPEAKER_00]: I like that one.
[SPEAKER_00]: Of course.
[SPEAKER_00]: Like that one.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's actually a story.
[SPEAKER_00]: You know, desert.
[SPEAKER_00]: No, the reason there is I hate that I love that one's much because they have one of my favorite scenes in it.
[SPEAKER_00]: There's a whole thing where they're saying we can't go out at night because the terminators have thermal vision they'll find us and the next thing they do is build a bonfire for warmth.
[SPEAKER_00]: Again, can't get over there.
[SPEAKER_00]: What just happened?
[SPEAKER_00]: Did I just see that?
[SPEAKER_00]: Did I just see that?
[SPEAKER_00]: No alien versus predator too, which is anyway.
[SPEAKER_00]: So once in the web way, back to the cast.
[SPEAKER_00]: Once in the web way, the L-Drad you've explained to call about you need.
[SPEAKER_00]: and the Anari and really everything else.
[SPEAKER_00]: And they explain that the dark gods can be defeated, but they need the combined might of the Imperium and, you know, the skill of the Eldar as we what they do, say, they have the might of the Eldar.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's like, look, we're smarter than you, just do what we tell you.
[SPEAKER_00]: But more importantly, the point that the Imperium is way too fractured to stand right now.
[SPEAKER_00]: And so they propose, why don't we all go to Macreg together and raise Gilliman up to bring the Imperium back onto its proper footing?
[SPEAKER_01]: And everybody kind of was like, I don't want to hear anything your Zenos say until they're like, uh, uh, uh, Roboot, uh, and so everybody is against it until they say.
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, there's two things that happen here.
[SPEAKER_00]: First call is having that just mind blowing experience like someone who just incredibly high abilities.
[SPEAKER_00]: He's not a vision yet.
[SPEAKER_00]: He's just like so basically my entire life to work is coming together all for this exact moment right now.
[SPEAKER_00]: Like this is my destiny.
[SPEAKER_00]: This is a guy.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, he has the main character moment.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's like this is all about me.
[SPEAKER_00]: This is incredible.
[SPEAKER_00]: And the second is gray facts is losing her effing mind in the corner of this.
[SPEAKER_00]: She's in a web way.
[SPEAKER_00]: Band, you know, in the web, a band Zeno place to be.
[SPEAKER_00]: She's surrounded by Zenos.
[SPEAKER_00]: She's a company by an imperial demon, and they're talking about aligning with these Zenos, and they're going to take these Zenos to the only living in the material in Primark.
[SPEAKER_00]: She's just, like, I actually, this would have been a funnier story if she's had an aneurysm and died.
[SPEAKER_00]: So she's pulling through her most wanted.
[SPEAKER_00]: She's just like that one.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, she just like I think I don't know is was the yin car and also there is to really give her the extra bit of she was just in their brain would have exploded.
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm telling you again, GW does miss the ability funny sometimes.
[SPEAKER_00]: It would have been a lot of funny of great facts just died.
[SPEAKER_00]: She just had an aneurysm because I can't or just shoot herself in this.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, she's like, don't seem more on this.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, you have to just nope.
[SPEAKER_00]: I am a heretic.
[SPEAKER_00]: I can solve this.
[SPEAKER_00]: So, but the website is she realizes that this is the imperiums only hope and so she goes along with it.
[SPEAKER_01]: You have to wonder what your brain's charisma score is because she convinced a black template.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's like, oh, I forgot there's also a black template there.
[SPEAKER_00]: Like, yeah, she convinces a black template, Saint Celestean and Grafax that this is a great, cause call was easy.
[SPEAKER_00]: Call was like, hey, we're gonna think you've always wanted to do.
[SPEAKER_00]: All right, yeah, I'm in.
[SPEAKER_00]: You're at the end of the rest of the crew, we're like, so I'm stabbing you right now, right?
[SPEAKER_00]: Right now, now, now, now, now.
[SPEAKER_00]: Anyway,
[SPEAKER_00]: They get to Ultra Mar, and they discover Abadon has followed them there.
[SPEAKER_00]: So I don't actually know how Abadon figured this out, but Abadon goes to Ultra Mar, because he knows they're going to raise a prime mark, because it's not really great for Abadon's plans.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, Ultra Mar isn't a planet.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's a system of wildly heavily defended.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, because this is not Ultra Mar's first rodeo with Chaos, and we're going to do a warning now, but what's about to happen?
[SPEAKER_00]: You're such a fanboy.
[SPEAKER_00]: I am a massive fanboy of the Ultramarines.
[SPEAKER_00]: I just love them.
[SPEAKER_00]: I think they're great.
[SPEAKER_00]: They're my favorite faction in the Imperium by, well, them in Death Watch are my two favorite factions and just deal with it.
[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm going to get a little bit hyped here.
[SPEAKER_00]: So Ultramar is effectively the most powerful portion of the Imperial space outside of Salt.
[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, you can actually argue that major mors and solar, because it's also had more fights.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's why besides the Horace Heresy, souls never been attacked.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: It just has Mars.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's the advantage of that solar.
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm just saying.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, that's true.
[SPEAKER_00]: Like we have to say, an ultra Mars been under attack by some serious soldiers and ultra Mars at the amount of the, the, the, the Titan ratio between souls and ultra Mars.
[SPEAKER_00]: Slightly, and they did salt.
[SPEAKER_00]: And they bring the raw material hardcore.
[SPEAKER_00]: So, but to this point, Ultramar is incredibly powerful part of the galaxy because it's not just as it have troops.
[SPEAKER_00]: It also has weapons, food, resources.
[SPEAKER_00]: This system is effectively keeping the entire imperial functioning.
[SPEAKER_00]: That's why this is why I'm such a fanboy of the Ultramarines.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's not just that the Ultramarines are good in combat because actually not as good as some of the other factions.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's that they are keeping the imperial functioning because they're actually running the proper logistics, make sure everyone has food, weapons, armor, everything put in there.
[SPEAKER_00]: I think it actually may also have the highest percentage of colonized worlds in imperial space.
[SPEAKER_01]: everything's terrifying.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's because they're actually like, like, blood and ball.
[SPEAKER_00]: We're really like, why bother terraforming?
[SPEAKER_00]: The Ultra is like, yeah, if we terraform all the words, we have more people.
[SPEAKER_00]: And the blade is like, yeah, we didn't be as tough.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, we didn't get it.
[SPEAKER_00]: We didn't get it.
[SPEAKER_00]: We didn't get it around that.
[SPEAKER_00]: And then you have the space walls, like, but this is cool.
[SPEAKER_00]: Come on.
[SPEAKER_00]: Check it out.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, flips.
[SPEAKER_00]: I also, yeah, the Imperial fists are pulling their soldiers from, you know, from Necramunda.
[SPEAKER_00]: And the Ultra means like, what if we just make a bunch of worlds?
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm just throwing it out there.
[SPEAKER_00]: We have all awesome.
[SPEAKER_00]: They're all awesome because build great space.
[SPEAKER_00]: And what does do this thing called practice?
[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe all of their places look like Naboo.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, we don't have to just have higher all the murder children.
[SPEAKER_01]: They, it would be cooler if they weren't assaulted.
[SPEAKER_00]: every couple hundred years and they get the largest invasion ever of care because chaos Pirates orks everyone attacks alternians it turns constantly and every time Ultra mar puts on the because they can make the boots of my name and they just go and boom because they always wins we have so many named character the ultra brains because they're constantly
[SPEAKER_01]: giving you into the most epic concept.
[SPEAKER_00]: And that's why this is funny because like the ab and on launch themselves in ultra mar space and the ultra means are like, oh, who's here?
[SPEAKER_00]: Like chaos.
[SPEAKER_00]: All right.
[SPEAKER_00]: Let's let's do this again.
[SPEAKER_00]: But there's a sudden that I do love this arrival.
[SPEAKER_00]: So think about this from a different perspective.
[SPEAKER_00]: So suddenly, there's an arrival of a delegation, and they didn't land on McCrake.
[SPEAKER_00]: This is, they landed on a, I think, which, which random.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's just the, the most outer of it.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, they land most outer world.
[SPEAKER_00]: And so this communication has to go back of, basically, a soldier's seeing like, sir, I spotted, oh, all right, kill him.
[SPEAKER_00]: They have an arch, they have an arch magos with them.
[SPEAKER_00]: What?
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, end-of-block Templar and an inquisitor and a sister's demigot.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and they all seem to be friends.
[SPEAKER_00]: I assume that was about my whole police.
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm just assuming I passed out and the other guy picked up the com.
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's also one more thing too.
[SPEAKER_00]: They come out of a web way under the planet.
[SPEAKER_00]: The planet is on full attack by
[SPEAKER_00]: The chaos forces you have rain and her forces then go and kill all the chaos forces there and just go back into the web way not not you have rain, but all the force going back in the web way.
[SPEAKER_00]: So the ultra marines that's just a really weird communication to send back of like hey we we were fighting also you have to ask
[SPEAKER_01]: again, because I love the elder so much.
[SPEAKER_01]: You have to wonder with the period goes, can the elder just win at any point in time?
[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, they keep just showing up please.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, we're fighting and entrenched battle against chaos and the bunch of elder showed up beat them all up and then
[SPEAKER_00]: And then he's went and then disappeared again.
[SPEAKER_00]: Back flipped in the way you're like, I don't even know what just happened.
[SPEAKER_00]: And so also is there been a way to get there the entire.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, how did they?
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, no.
[SPEAKER_00]: So so that and then the delegation just says, Hey, we want to go back to McCregg and the ultra marines are just go.
[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, because probably they went to, if you're from that planet, you have to be like, I can at least feel like I'm in some sort of control.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: But if you said no, will you just show up there?
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, we're going to allow you to come here.
[SPEAKER_00]: And so, so you're brain and the this arc, join, you know, call Celestine Graefax.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: So if you look at the Vizard's model, who's letting that go?
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yes, you're allowing, I don't have a great, a better example of it, just how terrifying that thing must be because he's wearing red inked by armor.
[SPEAKER_00]: So sketch yeah, and so I will do your friends crunch.
[SPEAKER_00]: She'd left the yin car in the web way like I would have been a lot without a show of a visitor like yeah, everybody can go into the meeting.
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, not him.
[SPEAKER_00]: But next to him is Saint Celeste and just floating above him like blowing with wings like now he's with me and everyone's like
[SPEAKER_00]: Again, fine.
[SPEAKER_00]: So they go in and the delegation is immediately met by Calgar himself.
[SPEAKER_00]: And this is another really great scene because Calgar, you know, is very practical and a very good leader.
[SPEAKER_00]: And Carl turns the Calgar and says, so here's who I really am.
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, yeah, but here's the thing for this entirety of this in read the stories, they're very good.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: But my only thing about it is, there's the only reason, ninety percent of this keeps happening is because they're spending a lot of time name dropping the shit out of guilt.
[SPEAKER_00]: That call explains the Calguard that he was given this mission he's on by Gilliman himself, not
[SPEAKER_00]: He left that I'm not I'm convinced and continuing someone else's work.
[SPEAKER_00]: No, that primarq over and that building over there talked to me and my what used to my face.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's not here anymore and gave me this thing at which point of course Cal Margo's I don't believe any of that and has his own assistance look it up and they say they you have him based on the readout of like yeah, that's actually true.
[SPEAKER_00]: Those two men on this date.
[SPEAKER_00]: Here's a picture.
[SPEAKER_00]: There's a picture of Gilliman talking to Carl.
[SPEAKER_01]: That is indeed my bag baby.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
[SPEAKER_00]: And so Carl tells Calgar that, you know, this is my mission.
[SPEAKER_00]: And if you let me, if you let me fulfill it, I can bring your primar back to life.
[SPEAKER_00]: And I'll at bay to enter the crypt where Gilliman is preserved of fully resurrected.
[SPEAKER_00]: of note by the way, this is all happening.
[SPEAKER_00]: The chaos invasion is still happening everywhere.
[SPEAKER_00]: There's a massive war occurring all throughout McRag.
[SPEAKER_00]: Calgar is a good leader though.
[SPEAKER_00]: So, and he actually, he, he, he looks at all the information and says,
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, okay, go.
[SPEAKER_00]: And he allows call to enter the crypt.
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, also with your brain and the vessel.
[SPEAKER_01]: I'd be saying this is all cool, but it also is so absurd.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's one of those things where you're like, I think you were making this up, but for all of this to be happening is too bananas for this.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, this is not this is too hard for it to be.
[SPEAKER_00]: We're not unpunked.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, which you and I are old enough to have watched.
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like our last.
[SPEAKER_00]: So it happened with this next bits of really amazing.
[SPEAKER_00]: So as we said before in the primar cast, this does not go unnoticed in the world.
[SPEAKER_00]: But the god of chaos, the elements brothers, they all sense his soul stirring as called begins the process.
[SPEAKER_01]: This is a beacon.
[SPEAKER_00]: This is again, I have saw on, you know, they're just like boom, staring at one spot and the chaos forces explode.
[SPEAKER_01]: They'd be life.
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, because a gentleman is entomed in a massive temple on McCregg.
[SPEAKER_00]: And it's just, you know, like anybody's a temple in Forty Kay, it's heavily armored.
[SPEAKER_01]: But let's start about a few things though Gillum in there's prophecies attached to him for chaos.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, he comes back.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's bad.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, so the chaos is knows.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, I mean, so while they are in this fortress chaos drop pods start slamming into it forces are pouring out.
[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, everyone is fighting calls this process of getting the armor, you know, he's he's gotten it on Gillum's body but turning it on is hard because Gillum was stabbed by a chaos infused blade by
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's like, this is not a like, oh, hey, I took an injury.
[SPEAKER_00]: This is serious.
[SPEAKER_00]: And so they're starting to run at a time out of nowhere.
[SPEAKER_00]: All this death, not really out of nowhere.
[SPEAKER_00]: All this death happening around them is powering up your brain and powering up powering up.
[SPEAKER_00]: And she channels you need and turns and she uses the power of you need and just blasts into gentlemen.
[SPEAKER_00]: And this is so awesome.
[SPEAKER_00]: And this scene, I give gave me goosebumps because Gilliman just eyes open up steps out.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, he doesn't and he's pissed.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's not like Gilliman slowly goes.
[SPEAKER_01]: I've been asleep for thousands of years.
[SPEAKER_00]: No.
[SPEAKER_00]: No, this is, this is Undertaker.
[SPEAKER_00]: This is the Undertaker set up boom.
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm here now.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it starts wrecking.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's amazing.
[SPEAKER_00]: There are forces of chaos bearing down, and he just gets up, picks up the sword that calls it, brought with him, and just wipes.
[SPEAKER_01]: The best part in the thing about it is whether you think Bobby, like Bobby, you're not.
[SPEAKER_01]: He is what you're not.
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm just saying there's no good reason.
[SPEAKER_01]: He's still the best planner.
[SPEAKER_01]: He he comes out of a what eight eighty five hundred years as number.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and immediately assesses the situation starts kicking ass and giving orders.
[SPEAKER_00]: And what also happens is, and this is the part that's just amazing to me is at the same time they start casting like vox and video casts to every space marine in the entire system showing them Bobby G's personally killing demons.
[SPEAKER_00]: And then the first is a cast kid.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, who up along with Bobby G and ploring all of them to fight to these is people.
[SPEAKER_00]: They've only ever heard recordings of his voice.
[SPEAKER_00]: He is now speaking to them directly.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: The Ultra Marines start losing their shit.
[SPEAKER_00]: This is insane.
[SPEAKER_00]: Like these aren't that we've used the boots of mighty ass kicking theme too many times.
[SPEAKER_00]: This isn't that this is well beyond that.
[SPEAKER_00]: This is an absolute slaughter of chaos.
[SPEAKER_00]: Like the tide turns completely, Gilman then after wiping all the everything even near him walks into central command and just starts directing forces.
[SPEAKER_00]: So chaos went from fighting Calgar, who's a good strategist.
[SPEAKER_00]: to the best try to just in the history of the galaxy.
[SPEAKER_01]: And also get after just getting the mode that he gave the brave heart, airborne speech, all in one and everybody went, I'm gonna kill everyone.
[SPEAKER_00]: The fun bit of this.
[SPEAKER_00]: So after the battle, chaos starts retreating.
[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, they're still in, in this is the retreating.
[SPEAKER_00]: Calgar is basically tears in his eyes.
[SPEAKER_00]: Just a bit walks over and says, yeah, you're in charge now, right?
[SPEAKER_00]: And Gilman's like,
[SPEAKER_00]: Doug.
[SPEAKER_00]: Everyone gets in line because no one's seen.
[SPEAKER_00]: Again, no one's seen him.
[SPEAKER_00]: Eight thousand years.
[SPEAKER_00]: No one has seen him.
[SPEAKER_00]: So all of the ultramarines, they're just losing their minds.
[SPEAKER_00]: They're so happy.
[SPEAKER_00]: Word is getting back.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's going throughout the entire Imperium that the Primark has returned.
[SPEAKER_01]: However, it's the exact opposite for Bobby G. Yeah, because he keeps getting reports and going, what the shit happened to the American Bobby G is furious because I mean, in a couple of hours, he's consumed eight, five hundred years of history.
[SPEAKER_00]: And it's a threshold.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, he left because when he left,
[SPEAKER_00]: It was a shining force.
[SPEAKER_00]: The Imperium was heat right at it.
[SPEAKER_00]: They had logistics again.
[SPEAKER_00]: They're building up forces blah blah.
[SPEAKER_00]: And he's just learning about this.
[SPEAKER_01]: And finally, cropped fractured force wildly corrupt also wildly super
[SPEAKER_01]: raising religious rights.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Remember, there's no ecclesiarchy when he gets stabbed.
[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
[SPEAKER_00]: The lords of terror were a joke.
[SPEAKER_00]: You know, planetary governors would never step out of line.
[SPEAKER_00]: There's also, not really in the inquisition at that point.
[SPEAKER_00]: All of this stuff is wrong.
[SPEAKER_00]: And now he's there like, I am going to murder.
[SPEAKER_00]: He's so mad.
[SPEAKER_00]: He's so mad.
[SPEAKER_00]: And so now his next thing is like, all right, I'm fixing the Imperium.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, yeah, that's what he says.
[SPEAKER_01]: He says it.
[SPEAKER_01]: It takes him a long time to do it.
[SPEAKER_01]: He goes, I'm going to tear out to talk to whatever's left to the end.
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm fixing this.
[SPEAKER_00]: At this moment, a very proud, your brain and Eldrade just leaves because they're like, yeah, mission accomplished.
[SPEAKER_00]: We raised the right guy.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: He's like, I'm gonna
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to, yeah, so many people, I'm unifying this entire army and they're both like, yep, that's exactly what we wanted you to do.
[SPEAKER_00]: So they then leave because they have other things to do and they know they now have the ally they need.
[SPEAKER_01]: Also, this has to be a huge, but as a side note, a huge bummer for Abidon, because Abidon was thinking, I'm about to wreck Ultra Mars.
[SPEAKER_01]: And then he's like, oh, not only did this go terribly wrong,
[SPEAKER_01]: But Bobby G's back.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Probably wouldn't have gone worse as far as like me getting beat up.
[SPEAKER_00]: Bobby G's the worst one for them to come back because the things.
[SPEAKER_00]: Leaming will beat up a lot of guys.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: You know, we're very away from.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Exactly.
[SPEAKER_00]: Whereas Bobby G's like, I'm going to unify the entire forces of the galaxy and coordinate his strikes to make it so you can't ever succeed.
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh.
[SPEAKER_00]: because I'm a multiple on a multiple of a multiple smarter than you have it on.
[SPEAKER_00]: So Gilman though quick note though does say a little thank you to your brain and them.
[SPEAKER_00]: So he acknowledges them and doesn't just slaughter them, which he also could have done.
[SPEAKER_00]: And they move back into the web way for now.
[SPEAKER_00]: So, Gilliman now knows he has to go back to terror.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's going to take him, but first they have to secure Ultramar, which does take close to seven months.
[SPEAKER_00]: We covered some of this before because there are other forces of chaos that come in, namely, Mortarian, who takes a beating so bad at damages, nergles, gardens.
[SPEAKER_00]: While securing Ultramar, Gilliman also does though, let the galaxy know of his rebirth and he calls on all imperial forces that can make it to come to Ultramar.
[SPEAKER_00]: And this is because Gilliman knows from his last time trying to go from Ultramar to Tera that it's going to be a little bit tough and he's going to force to get there.
[SPEAKER_00]: So because last time was a little bit rough, he gathered this massive force in Ultramar and heads towards Tera.
[SPEAKER_00]: At that point, we're going to break because the next stage of stories also would be like, it would be a three-parter.
[SPEAKER_00]: We're going to do some other stuff.
[SPEAKER_00]: Endowment is crusade.
[SPEAKER_00]: No, this is the, uh, Terran sign-down.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's all set.
[SPEAKER_01]: Let's leave this lead.
[SPEAKER_00]: Let's leave this lead.
[SPEAKER_00]: We've got a lot to get through.
[SPEAKER_00]: But so this is a key story I wanted to get through.
[SPEAKER_01]: We've touched on, you know, and call us on your brain shows up six more times.
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah, yeah, your brain gets a very busy for a period of time.
[SPEAKER_00]: Then she just stops being busy.
[SPEAKER_00]: whatever.
[SPEAKER_00]: So we hope for those of you who, you know, have read this lore, this is a good catch-up for you, and those of you who haven't, this is a good introduction.
[SPEAKER_00]: Next week, we're up a month late from when I promised we'd do it from the discord.
[SPEAKER_00]: So guys, if you want to hear something go to the discord and request it, and I'll tell you, yay, nay, or maybe's.
[SPEAKER_00]: We're going to start covering nights, titans, and we're going to try and get dreadnoughts in there, because we should then dreadnoughts on the ultramar- on the ultramar- on the ultramar- on the space marine cast, but we didn't.
[SPEAKER_00]: I haven't written the episodes yet, so I'm not really sure what they're going to sound like.
[SPEAKER_00]: I think we're going to open with nights and then move into Titans, probably in part two, but whatever.
[SPEAKER_00]: So until then, this has been John Barsati and Brad Chester.
[SPEAKER_00]: See you next week.
