<v Speaker 4>It is Friday, June twentieth, twenty twenty five. I hope
<v Speaker 4>everybody's doing well right before the weekend here. Most of
<v Speaker 4>us had yesterday off and some of you made it
<v Speaker 4>a very long weekend. So hopefully whatever you're doing, you
<v Speaker 4>are enjoying yourself on this first day of summer in
<v Speaker 4>twenty twenty five. That'll go quicker than we think it
<v Speaker 4>always does. So let's jump into it. I'm for the
<v Speaker 4>mail bag. Time to reach into the metaphorical mail bag
<v Speaker 4>here and see who I pull out first. It's let's
<v Speaker 4>see here, Let's go to Kiernan. All right, let's go
<v Speaker 4>to Kiernan and he says, hey, sorry for the absence,
<v Speaker 4>but I'm a huge hockey fan and although my team tanked,
<v Speaker 4>I watched all and listened to Oh great, okay, greetings
<v Speaker 4>from Toronto. A few things not overall impressed too much selling,
<v Speaker 4>not enough work. Goldberg's return is stupid, but only for
<v Speaker 4>merch Gunther who is legit must be pissed. I actually
<v Speaker 4>don't think he would be pissed. The reason is Number One,
<v Speaker 4>he doesn't have to work that hard in the match.
<v Speaker 4>We all know what Goldberg's stamina is for matches. We
<v Speaker 4>all know what his over under in matches is probably
<v Speaker 4>around four minutes tops. If he goes longer, then they're
<v Speaker 4>just simply trying to troll the fans. But it's also
<v Speaker 4>a big risk to troll the fans of Ah, you
<v Speaker 4>thought it was going to be a three minute match,
<v Speaker 4>you're getting a ten minute match. But the problem is
<v Speaker 4>with that is you're going to make Goldberg look horrible.
<v Speaker 4>You know, we already know what his limitations are. We
<v Speaker 4>already know his strengths and weaknesses are, which means, go
<v Speaker 4>ahead and troll us. Oh you thought it was gonna
<v Speaker 4>be three minutes, it's ten twelve minutes. Okay, Well, then
<v Speaker 4>you're also putting your talent at risk because the longer
<v Speaker 4>Goldberg goes, the higher risk of injury. Number One, he's
<v Speaker 4>not exactly known as a safe worker. He doesn't have
<v Speaker 4>a very diverse move set. So yeah, go ahead and
<v Speaker 4>troll us with a higher risk of injury for a
<v Speaker 4>longer match simply to troll us. And you're also going
<v Speaker 4>to try to have him do maneuvers that he's never
<v Speaker 4>done before or has very rarely done. And the match
<v Speaker 4>quality just generally beyond the safety part is going to
<v Speaker 4>be just god awful, even if you have Gune there
<v Speaker 4>in the match, who's going to be doing most of
<v Speaker 4>the work. So sure, go ahead and troll us. See
<v Speaker 4>how that works out. But I don't think Goldberg is,
<v Speaker 4>or rather Gunther is really pissed. In fact, if our Gunter,
<v Speaker 4>I'd be kind of excited about this. Legitimately number one. Again,
<v Speaker 4>my match doesn't have to be good because no one's
<v Speaker 4>expecting the match to be good, so the bar is
<v Speaker 4>really low. I don't have to work that hard because
<v Speaker 4>we all know what kind of match Goldberg can deliver.
<v Speaker 4>And also I get to put on my resume that
<v Speaker 4>I defeated Bill Goldberg. So it's a win win win
<v Speaker 4>win win for a Gunther for I mean, that's it.
<v Speaker 4>The loser, of course, is the fans. It's us we
<v Speaker 4>lose because we all know what this match is going
<v Speaker 4>to be we all know the outcome of the match.
<v Speaker 4>There's no chance of Goldberg winning, and if they do,
<v Speaker 4>I mean watch the ww melt down. Okay, if they
<v Speaker 4>have Goldberg win the championship, look out. Even again, I'm
<v Speaker 4>trying to pretend that I'm them thinking that. Ah, the
<v Speaker 4>fans think they know what we're gonna do. We're gonna
<v Speaker 4>put the belt on Goldberg. Yeah, go ahead and do that.
<v Speaker 4>Let's see what happens.
<v Speaker 1>Right.
<v Speaker 4>I'm not stupid enough to think they won't do that,
<v Speaker 4>but I hope, I hope they're dumb enough or smart
<v Speaker 4>enough not to be stupid enough to do that for
<v Speaker 4>the simple fact of trying to swerve us.
<v Speaker 3>All right, So.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, okay, love Rollins and his brood bron is so good.
<v Speaker 4>I agree. There's really nothing about Seth's group I don't like.
<v Speaker 4>I love what they've done so far. Paul Hayman is
<v Speaker 4>a nice addition. I don't think he's a really Honestly,
<v Speaker 4>even if you took Paul Hayman out of this group,
<v Speaker 4>the group would still be just fine. Paul Haman is
<v Speaker 4>just gravy on top. The group would survive and thrive
<v Speaker 4>because Seth is more than capable and has been more
<v Speaker 4>than capable of leading his own group for a long time.
<v Speaker 4>If you look back, he had at first Jane J Security,
<v Speaker 4>which again wasn't really about building Jay and J. If
<v Speaker 4>you remember back with the Authority, it was kind of
<v Speaker 4>a baby, kind of a baby faction that really had
<v Speaker 4>no end other than Seth eventually, you know, leaving and
<v Speaker 4>turning face. It wasn't really about Jay and j getting over.
<v Speaker 4>We had then AOP with that I thought got sadly
<v Speaker 4>cut short because of injury due to AOP and we
<v Speaker 4>never got to see that really play out during the pandemic.
<v Speaker 4>And then of course we have now the best of
<v Speaker 4>the three different iterations of a SETH group, which is Braun,
<v Speaker 4>Breaker and Bronson Reid. So I love this. Braun is great. Yes,
<v Speaker 4>you and I differ about Tiffy. Maybe the brat persona
<v Speaker 4>could be changed, but she's the real deal. Needs to
<v Speaker 4>have a mentor Electricih or even Charlotte. Yeah, this is
<v Speaker 4>just simply a difference of opinion, and that's fine. You know,
<v Speaker 4>I'm not going to try to You're not going to
<v Speaker 4>change my mind. I'm not going to change yours. We're
<v Speaker 4>just stating our views and that's fine. See we can
<v Speaker 4>have a very civil disagreement, agree to disagree. I don't
<v Speaker 4>think actually she needs a mentor. In fact, that if
<v Speaker 4>she had a Now when you say mentor, though, do
<v Speaker 4>you mean on camera or behind the scenes, because if
<v Speaker 4>he did it on camera, that would I think make
<v Speaker 4>her look a little bit like she's taken a stick
<v Speaker 4>at back, that she needs assistance, that she needs somebody
<v Speaker 4>more experienced as a crutch, and I don't want that
<v Speaker 4>for her. I do want her to continue to evolve.
<v Speaker 4>My only criticism of her is not in ring. That
<v Speaker 4>is more than taking care of itself. I even expect
<v Speaker 4>her to continue to improve. That has never been the issue.
<v Speaker 4>It's just her delivery of promos that she needs a
<v Speaker 4>little help with with, I would argue, is a lot
<v Speaker 4>of ways more difficult than it is in ring, and
<v Speaker 4>she just needs to in my mind, again my opinion,
<v Speaker 4>she needs to get rid of the obnoxious way she
<v Speaker 4>delivers promos as this, as you said, spoiled brat persona.
<v Speaker 4>If you're a babyface, you don't want the high screeching voice.
<v Speaker 4>A lot of times Mercedes Mona, who obviously was better
<v Speaker 4>known in w B Asasha Banks, was a babyface and
<v Speaker 4>she would deliver promos in just the most off putting
<v Speaker 4>way you could imagine this shrill, totally just off putting persona,
<v Speaker 4>and she did it so many times, and I'm just
<v Speaker 4>how are people cheering for this? She's so obnoxious And
<v Speaker 4>she still is. She still is even in aw and
<v Speaker 4>she's talking about how she's so glad she went there. No,
<v Speaker 4>she's not. That's a company that, of course has a
<v Speaker 4>fraction of the ratings of WWE. You may have a
<v Speaker 4>little more creative control, you may be able to allow
<v Speaker 4>yourself to look more like a fool on camera, because
<v Speaker 4>creative isn't as much of a micromanagement as it is
<v Speaker 4>in ww right now, well comparatively not under Vince, but
<v Speaker 4>even to WWE now it's a much more managed. So again,
<v Speaker 4>I don't want to go on Mercedes Mona rant that
<v Speaker 4>every time I see her in my mind, her stock
<v Speaker 4>value just drops. And I'm so glad that WWE did
<v Speaker 4>not re sign her. I know that a lot of
<v Speaker 4>you love Sasha Banks as she had a lot of
<v Speaker 4>good moments in the company. She was one of the
<v Speaker 4>four horse Women. She was one of the faces of
<v Speaker 4>the revolution, unlike Nikki Bella, who pretends that she was
<v Speaker 4>some kind of paver. Sasha has much more of a
<v Speaker 4>case for that in some ways in w w E regardless,
<v Speaker 4>I'm just so happy they didn't resign her. She's just
<v Speaker 4>so obnoxious and she thinks, I mean, she is certainly
<v Speaker 4>uh her, she believes in her own hype much more
<v Speaker 4>than anyone else does, and I just I don't think that.
<v Speaker 4>I don't think it's there. She is not as good
<v Speaker 4>in the ring as she thinks she is, and certainly
<v Speaker 4>on the anytime her mouth makes any noise to me,
<v Speaker 4>her stock value plummets. It's just a reminder. She may
<v Speaker 4>have the look and she yes, she is good in
<v Speaker 4>the ring, to very good. But anytime her any any
<v Speaker 4>sounds come from that voice box at all, the second
<v Speaker 4>her lips part to make any noise, her stock value
<v Speaker 4>just tanks. It's just a reminder of, oh yeah, like
<v Speaker 4>she's just, in my mind anyway, the epitome of narcissism.
<v Speaker 4>She is a narcissist at her core, and I don't
<v Speaker 4>mean in just a wrestling personality, although that comes through
<v Speaker 4>and she can't help it come through. She had to
<v Speaker 4>come through on the Stone Cold podcast. The I think
<v Speaker 4>it was the Broken Skull sessions. She was obnoxious as
<v Speaker 4>hell on that when she's supposed to just be herself,
<v Speaker 4>which told tells me that she truly as a person,
<v Speaker 4>not as a personality as a person, is genuinely just
<v Speaker 4>a textbook narcissist.
<v Speaker 3>I don't know.
<v Speaker 4>That's how I feel about her, So I don't know
<v Speaker 4>how I got on that, but let's continue. I wish
<v Speaker 4>only the best for Live She's awesome. Accidents unfortunately happen,
<v Speaker 4>and they do. Yeah, I live right now. I'm hearing
<v Speaker 4>anything from three to six months, which is about what
<v Speaker 4>I expected based on what I saw. Again, I'm not
<v Speaker 4>a doctor, but based on shoulder injuries I've seen in
<v Speaker 4>the past from wrestling and really every other sport, you
<v Speaker 4>know that that is about a you know, I said
<v Speaker 4>it could be up to pass WrestleMania or you know,
<v Speaker 4>a rumble, but it looks like it could be right
<v Speaker 4>up to the rumble. I fully expect that she should
<v Speaker 4>be aiming for a Rumble return. I think Live Morgan
<v Speaker 4>right now should be aiming for that, which is about
<v Speaker 4>six months away. But it is February, so perhaps she
<v Speaker 4>comes back in December. She could come back even a
<v Speaker 4>little earlier than that, but I would aim for if
<v Speaker 4>she comes back at all in twenty twenty five, I
<v Speaker 4>would be pleasantly surprised. But when she comes back, she's
<v Speaker 4>probably gonna get a big baby face pop. We'll see
<v Speaker 4>what they do with that. Of course, the landscape in
<v Speaker 4>six months could be totally different. We don't know whose babyface,
<v Speaker 4>we don't know who's champion, what the WrestleMania plans are.
<v Speaker 4>But yeah, I feel bad for Live and wish her
<v Speaker 4>speedy recovery. All right, Cody, Sina, and Punk no comment,
<v Speaker 4>dislike them all did not work boring? Yeah, that's I mean, Cita, Cody,
<v Speaker 4>and Punk. I don't know what they're doing there. I
<v Speaker 4>mean I know that Punk and Sena are trying to
<v Speaker 4>relive and rehash their magic of twenty eleven. I look,
<v Speaker 4>he's one of the best talkers in the company the
<v Speaker 4>company's ever seen, and seen it also is right up there.
<v Speaker 4>So you'd imagine these promos should be earth shattering, you
<v Speaker 4>know that they should be otherworldly, that we should get
<v Speaker 4>just absolutely scathingly awesome promos because of the sheer talent
<v Speaker 4>of both seeing It and Punk on the mic, And
<v Speaker 4>it's been anything but Punk stumbled over his words, he
<v Speaker 4>couldn't find his train of thought. He's talking about being
<v Speaker 4>real this past week. It did not come off well,
<v Speaker 4>I don't know. And then Punk is talking about defending
<v Speaker 4>the people and all the stuff that he's just I
<v Speaker 4>don't know. It really fell flat for me this the
<v Speaker 4>Punk promo. I don't know if you guys felt the
<v Speaker 4>same way. It wasn't a bad promo, just scattershot, not
<v Speaker 4>nearly living up to what we hoped it could be.
<v Speaker 4>And I think the crowd also felt that way. In kind.
<v Speaker 4>They weren't I don't think particular literally excited about what
<v Speaker 4>Punk had to say. Uh and Sina also, now that
<v Speaker 4>he's heel, you'd think he's you know, he doesn't have
<v Speaker 4>any kind of chains on his mouth. He can do
<v Speaker 4>whatever and say whatever you want. So it's kind of
<v Speaker 4>a great scenario to be set up. The platforms there,
<v Speaker 4>the table is set, and it just did not work.
<v Speaker 4>Now they still have another week of promos that they
<v Speaker 4>want to if they want to get him out and
<v Speaker 4>retry again. But yeah, it's been is not good. But
<v Speaker 4>uh yeah, so overall is a fan of fifty years,
<v Speaker 4>I'm dissatisfied. I will always listen.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah.
<v Speaker 4>See, that's the thing. That's the thing that is with
<v Speaker 4>w WE wrestling. Generally, we can sit here, we can complain,
<v Speaker 4>and I certainly do my share at fair share. But
<v Speaker 4>at the end of the day, guess what we do.
<v Speaker 4>Guess what we do. We go back for more, We
<v Speaker 4>go back for more, and we can't help ourselves. That's
<v Speaker 4>just what we do. We're gluttons for punishment. But the
<v Speaker 4>problem is this actually not even a problem, it's it's
<v Speaker 4>the mindset of a wrestling fan and sports fans. I
<v Speaker 4>would say, generally, we complain about our team, right, if
<v Speaker 4>they're doing poorly, what's wrong, what's bad? This is horrible.
<v Speaker 4>They should have done this, They should have done that.
<v Speaker 4>That goes for all sports, particularly MLB, NFL, all the
<v Speaker 4>big sports we know in the US especially, I can't
<v Speaker 4>speak for soccer overseas or hockey in Canada. I would
<v Speaker 4>think it's kind of the same way because we're all
<v Speaker 4>human beings. But we all complain. But then what do
<v Speaker 4>we do. We don't stop watching. We usually don't stop watching.
<v Speaker 4>We have such a passion and love for this, whether
<v Speaker 4>it's a professional sport or professional wrestling, that we want
<v Speaker 4>to see it get better. We want to be able
<v Speaker 4>to vent our frustrations and we have the right as
<v Speaker 4>paying customers to do that, and we want to see
<v Speaker 4>it get better. So yes, we complain a lot, no
<v Speaker 4>doubt about it. We have the right to though, So yeah,
<v Speaker 4>I mean that's just what we do as wrestling fans.
<v Speaker 4>We're really no different. I mean, I know that wrestling
<v Speaker 4>fans get a bad rap all this that, and wrestling
<v Speaker 4>fans complain online the innit wrestling community. Okay, well, go
<v Speaker 4>to look at any major sports team in any field
<v Speaker 4>and go on the internet and see if there's any
<v Speaker 4>negativity about it. Of course, there is the way that
<v Speaker 4>this is managed. That's managed. This trade should have happened.
<v Speaker 4>This person should have got this salary. They're hitting the
<v Speaker 4>salary cap. They should have restructured, they should. You get
<v Speaker 4>it everywhere. So I know wrestling fans get it especially,
<v Speaker 4>but it's in every sport because that is just the
<v Speaker 4>nature of sports itself and being a human being. Okay,
<v Speaker 4>let's talk to talk to Hector. I haven't talked to
<v Speaker 4>Hector in a while. And Hector says, Hi again from Chijuana,
<v Speaker 4>like the dog Mexico. Oh, Chihuahua. Oh, Chihuaha got it happy.
<v Speaker 4>Late Father's Day, by the way, thank you, watched World's Collide,
<v Speaker 4>and this past Sunday we had the Triple A WrestleMania,
<v Speaker 4>which is called Triple Mania. We had the TNA champion
<v Speaker 4>defend his title against two Mexican wrestlers and Joe Hendry
<v Speaker 4>the Garza from Santos Escobar Legatto del Fantasmo won the
<v Speaker 4>tag titles. But the most interesting thing I noticed is
<v Speaker 4>that JBL's hanging out in Triple A. He's part of
<v Speaker 4>Alberto del Rio's faction, calling Alberto a wrestling god. I
<v Speaker 4>find it ironic since JBL's character at one point was
<v Speaker 4>kicking Mexicans out. I find it. Found it really funny
<v Speaker 4>watching him insult people in Spanish, which is epic. Wanted
<v Speaker 4>to share keep up the great work, thank you. I'm
<v Speaker 4>sure we'll hear that from DJ in a moment as well.
<v Speaker 4>But that's cool. I mean, it's cool in the sense
<v Speaker 4>that you remember that because it brings this whole thing
<v Speaker 4>full circle and is maybe they hope that you don't
<v Speaker 4>remember that. But if you guys don't know, Okay, this
<v Speaker 4>is back in the mid two thousands, I want to
<v Speaker 4>say when JBL first became JBL, which actually happened in
<v Speaker 4>four he was Actually there's a skit on SmackDown where
<v Speaker 4>JBL was quote unquote at the Mexican United States border
<v Speaker 4>kicking people out who are trying to cross over. So, uh, yeah,
<v Speaker 4>there's that thing. I don't know. Did he ever get
<v Speaker 4>involved with the mexicools? Did that ever happen? I don't know,
<v Speaker 4>but yeah, that is kind of ironic. Thank you Hector
<v Speaker 4>for reminding me about that. All right, so let's talk
<v Speaker 4>to DJ. He says, just a quick side note out
<v Speaker 4>of outside of wrestling, the way how quick this year
<v Speaker 4>is going with the proverbial rat race at the every
<v Speaker 4>week work grind. To me, it feels like being inside
<v Speaker 4>of a hamster wheel and chasing the dangling carrot. Sometimes
<v Speaker 4>I feel like just shutting down for three months on
<v Speaker 4>some sort of vacation or living in the forest, to
<v Speaker 4>be off the grid and away from life's responsibilities. Not
<v Speaker 4>to sound too depressing, I don't know if anyone feels
<v Speaker 4>this way. Let's get to some wrestling, well, DJ, I
<v Speaker 4>mean I could jeez, I mean I could go on
<v Speaker 4>that for an entire show as well. Yeah, I mean,
<v Speaker 4>here's the thing too. As you get older, you hear
<v Speaker 4>that time goes faster, and then as you get older
<v Speaker 4>you realize time does go faster. Now it doesn't actually
<v Speaker 4>go faster. We're still only experiencing it one second at
<v Speaker 4>a time, but our perception of time changes. And I
<v Speaker 4>remember watching some something. I don't know if it was
<v Speaker 4>on the Discovery or the Sci Fi channel, I can't remember.
<v Speaker 4>But the reason is there's actually science behind that. It's
<v Speaker 4>not just a you know, wives tale or some trope
<v Speaker 4>that people say, oh, when you get older, time goes faster.
<v Speaker 4>It's like you hear that, you're like, yeah, yeah, whatever,
<v Speaker 4>But there's science behind And the reason is because as
<v Speaker 4>you get older, this is in part not whole, but
<v Speaker 4>you're experiencing time in the same at the same pace.
<v Speaker 4>But the reason you anticipate or see time go quicker
<v Speaker 4>perceptually is because each second, each day, each week, each month,
<v Speaker 4>each year that goes by is a smaller portion of
<v Speaker 4>your life. In other words, if a year goes by
<v Speaker 4>when you're forty, that's one fortieth of your life. When
<v Speaker 4>you experience one year when you're five, that's a fifth
<v Speaker 4>or twenty percent of your life. So it feels longer.
<v Speaker 4>But when you're older, you've experienced all this time up
<v Speaker 4>until this point, and now a year is doesn't feel
<v Speaker 4>like long because you've experienced a number first of all
<v Speaker 4>forty times using this as an example, and it's a
<v Speaker 4>smaller portion of your total life. That makes sense. Now,
<v Speaker 4>I think there's other reasons for the way you're actually
<v Speaker 4>your brain chemistry works and how it perceives time, but
<v Speaker 4>that I know was part of the reason, which is
<v Speaker 4>kind of interesting. It makes total sense to me. So yeah,
<v Speaker 4>But as far as my whole point about saying that is,
<v Speaker 4>I agree. I mean, I feel like there's times I
<v Speaker 4>just I honestly have considered just just quitting my job.
<v Speaker 4>I can't afford it. My whole life would crumble. But
<v Speaker 4>theretent times, I'm like, you know what, but could I
<v Speaker 4>make it work? Could I could I just say f
<v Speaker 4>this and just could I do it? Retired forty years
<v Speaker 4>old and just bounce? Is there a way for me
<v Speaker 4>and my family to make could we do it? Yeah?
<v Speaker 4>I mean it does. You just you feel like you're
<v Speaker 4>just repeating It's Groundhog's Day and we are creatures of habit.
<v Speaker 4>We have routines, which routines are good, but they also
<v Speaker 4>can be monotonous and you get very bored with them.
<v Speaker 4>Totally agree, Yeah, I think all of us can relate
<v Speaker 4>to that. Okay, so I know this is not a work,
<v Speaker 4>but now that Live is going to be out of
<v Speaker 4>action for what seems like till later on in the fall,
<v Speaker 4>it would be interesting to see how WWE books this
<v Speaker 4>rock Sande Perez and Dirty down potential relationship with Dirty
<v Speaker 4>Don becoming a baby face over time with the crowd.
<v Speaker 4>Does WWE book Dom to be seduced by I Roxanne
<v Speaker 4>only to then have Finn be the mastermind of removing
<v Speaker 4>Dom from the Judgment Day. I think yes to that,
<v Speaker 4>meaning yes that Finn is going to be the heel
<v Speaker 4>in this whole thing. I've said that for a few
<v Speaker 4>months now because Finn number one hasn't done anything of
<v Speaker 4>significance at least, well, I shouldn't say that. That's a
<v Speaker 4>little dramatic. Finn has not been the focal point of
<v Speaker 4>anything going on in The Judgment Day since its inception
<v Speaker 4>outside of attacking Edge. Remember, he has almost never been
<v Speaker 4>the focal point. He's always a background, supporting character. So
<v Speaker 4>for him to do this I think would bring domin
<v Speaker 4>to the front and more importantly, bring Finn Balor back
<v Speaker 4>to the front where he's been absent for a long time.
<v Speaker 4>And I think Dom would play a better babyface because people,
<v Speaker 4>I think are tired of it. They've they've gotten all
<v Speaker 4>their hatred out of Dom. It's time to change things
<v Speaker 4>and you're seeing that right now. Okay, So wwe could
<v Speaker 4>book Roxande to replaced the injured Live to team up
<v Speaker 4>with Raquel for their potential tag team match at Evolution
<v Speaker 4>two against the Belatwins, which I think actually is probably
<v Speaker 4>the case. I think Roxanne will replace Live. However, as
<v Speaker 4>I continue to think this through, I think later in
<v Speaker 4>the year when Live returns, there's going to be a

<v Speaker 4>too far with that placement, I will easily watch something else,

<v Speaker 4>a nostalgic fan. You never you never really grew up

<v Speaker 4>we had and now it's gone. That happens with every
<v Speaker 4>phase of life. You don't know you're in the good
<v Speaker 4>old day, so they're gone. Famous saying so true. But
<v Speaker 4>the I think the biggest reason in our generation is
<v Speaker 4>sick with nostalgia is because we are the first generation
<v Speaker 4>to have video recording capability. We're the first generation to
<v Speaker 4>have a digital footprint on this world. So we're able
<v Speaker 4>to view our past in a way that no other
<v Speaker 4>generation that ever came before us has. Right, we can
<v Speaker 4>look at old videos, old pictures from a digital camera,
<v Speaker 4>you know that kind of thing. And generations preceding us
<v Speaker 4>are going to have an even, I think even higher
<v Speaker 4>sickness of nostalgia because the quality of the video has
<v Speaker 4>exponentially increased the pictures. Imagine now the kids who have iPhones,
<v Speaker 4>who are ten, eleven, twelve years old right, having an
<v Speaker 4>iPhone at that age is dangerous for a lot of reasons.

<v Speaker 4>to the entire world in their pocket, and we all
<v Speaker 4>know a few things they shouldn't see. But they now
<v Speaker 4>are going to be growing up with high definition four

<v Speaker 6>Intensity. That's the same for Seth Rowlins. The guy is
<v Speaker 6>the supposedly strategists, architect and everything. Okay, it's fine, but
<v Speaker 6>you need to show intensity.

<v Speaker 3>You have two big guys fighting for you, Seth Rollins.
<v Speaker 7>You need to show intensity because the guy he knows
<v Speaker 7>how to show intensity as a face in a fake

<v Speaker 7>the violence with at first, I'm talking about Seth Orleans

<v Speaker 4>you mean I do this podcast, But I honestly, as
<v Speaker 4>I've said in many podcasts before any episodes, I don't
<v Speaker 4>watch every single minute of every single show. A lot
<v Speaker 4>of you do, and I give you credit for that.
<v Speaker 4>I number one, don't have the time to watch every
<v Speaker 4>minute of everything, and that's why I miss stuff and
<v Speaker 4>it happens. But yeah, sometimes you just naturally drift away
<v Speaker 4>and it seems like you drifted away a little bit
<v Speaker 4>because of the lack of intensity, is what your claim is,
<v Speaker 4>and I can absolutely I can sympathize with that. Now,
<v Speaker 4>not everything needs to be intense. Not everything needs to
<v Speaker 4>be a blood rivalry or have everyone shouting at the
<v Speaker 4>top of their lungs that it's a life and death.
<v Speaker 4>Not every rivalry should be that, Nor would it be
<v Speaker 4>that with Seth. I think you know you're right, there
<v Speaker 4>needs to and I think even more than intensity, I
<v Speaker 4>will say intensity is on my list of issues with
<v Speaker 4>that particular story. Although I think it's going fine, I
<v Speaker 4>wouldn't say it's awesome, but I'd say it's it's doing
<v Speaker 4>fine and it's really helping Braun and Bronson read. But
<v Speaker 4>more importantly, it's they're not getting a lot of momentum
<v Speaker 4>Bronson and Braun are. I mean, they've already lost matches
<v Speaker 4>before Seth you know, has you can count on one
<v Speaker 4>hand where he stood tall at the end of a show.
<v Speaker 4>WWE has this, I guess chronic issue that they need
<v Speaker 4>to let the crowd go home happy all the time,
<v Speaker 4>and that shouldn't be the case. Anger is a hell
<v Speaker 4>of an emotion. Anger will keep you coming back to
<v Speaker 4>see that group or that person get their ass kicked.
<v Speaker 4>Sometimes you need to piss off the audience in a
<v Speaker 4>way that makes you want to have them pay to
<v Speaker 4>see a babyface come in and kick their teeth down
<v Speaker 4>their throat. And with Seth and his group, they need
<v Speaker 4>to get more vicious. I would say intensity on the
<v Speaker 4>mic is fine, but I think intensity and what they're
<v Speaker 4>doing hurt people try to I mean again in story injure,
<v Speaker 4>people try to break people's legs, stomp them on the concrete.
<v Speaker 4>And again, safety first, guys. I'm not actually advocating I
<v Speaker 4>know some people somehow read into them. I'm advocating for
<v Speaker 4>people to get really injured. No saying in story, stomp
<v Speaker 4>somebody on a chair, make someone bleed. Do it consistently.
<v Speaker 4>This group seems too vulnerable and it shouldn't. I would
<v Speaker 4>argue consistency in their booking of looking dominant is what
<v Speaker 4>is missing, even more than intensity. Intensity is a close
<v Speaker 4>second for me, but I would argue that it needs
<v Speaker 4>to be consistent booking of dominance where the baby faces
<v Speaker 4>very rarely get over on Seth and his goons. And
<v Speaker 4>I say goons respectfully. Of course, Bronson and Braun are
<v Speaker 4>not there. Goons in the sense that Seth is a
<v Speaker 4>more established legacy star and he's clearly helping these two
<v Speaker 4>guys move up, and that's fine, But goons in the
<v Speaker 4>sense that, sure Seth is the main boss here. I'm
<v Speaker 4>not saying final boss, but he's a boss and he
<v Speaker 4>has his henchman. But Seth, people should very rarely get
<v Speaker 4>to Seth because of Bronson and Braun, and I think
<v Speaker 4>that is something that is also missing, is just a
<v Speaker 4>lack of consistent dominant booking. They should not be getting
<v Speaker 4>their ass kicked on a weekly basis. Shouldn't be happening.
<v Speaker 4>But yeah, I mean again, this story is still interesting
<v Speaker 4>to me. It's still something that I one approve of
<v Speaker 4>with the ultimate goal of building Braun and Bronson. Both
<v Speaker 4>of those guys were already on their way to stardom.
<v Speaker 4>But this will help escalate or what's the expedite the process.
<v Speaker 4>So yeah, I feel you, though I feel you. You
<v Speaker 4>know what, Sometimes it's also the natural cycle of wrestling,
<v Speaker 4>of the wrestling season where it's not always go go
<v Speaker 4>go big stars. I mean, look how many people dropped
<v Speaker 4>off after WrestleMania, a crazy number, and WrestleMania, as we
<v Speaker 4>all know, nine two left a really bad taste in
<v Speaker 4>I mean the majority of crowds, majority of people's mouths.
<v Speaker 4>It was just horrible, as we all know. And then
<v Speaker 4>on top of that, you have star power drop off
<v Speaker 4>drastically after WrestleMania. Roman Reigns, you know, is nowhere to
<v Speaker 4>be found for several months. That's just his normal cycle. Now,
<v Speaker 4>Johnsena went on to be a part time champion as
<v Speaker 4>expected that that you know, outside of Cody Roads the
<v Speaker 4>last five years have been essentially an absentee champion with
<v Speaker 4>that belt. So you have that, no final bosses we
<v Speaker 4>all know, you know, just a natural down cycle of
<v Speaker 4>wrestling until it ramps up a little bit. We have
<v Speaker 4>a nice spike for Summer Slam usually with star power
<v Speaker 4>and big storylines that they're already looking to wrestle next
<v Speaker 4>WrestleMania four with WrestleMania forty two again in Vegas. So yeah,
<v Speaker 4>I mean, once we get past Mania, it's kind of
<v Speaker 4>a normal cycle. And the ratings bear that out too.
<v Speaker 4>Look at the numbers for Raw and SmackDown, following WrestleMania,
<v Speaker 4>beyond the Night after and the SmackDown after, ratings typically
<v Speaker 4>fall and then plateau and slowly build back up for
<v Speaker 4>Summer Slam. And that's the normal cycle. But there's a
<v Speaker 4>reason for that. It's star power, man star power, and
<v Speaker 4>usually quality storylines. The big ones have fallen off or
<v Speaker 4>have come to a close because WrestleMania is over and
<v Speaker 4>they're just trying to recycle things and restart things. And
<v Speaker 4>that's it's not an easy business.
<v Speaker 3>You know.
<v Speaker 4>As much as I criticize WWE and Triple H, and
<v Speaker 4>I stand by all all those criticisms, I also can
<v Speaker 4>acknowledge that it's not easy. It's not easy to do.
<v Speaker 4>We all think we could do better, but the problem
<v Speaker 4>is of the butterfly effect. Oh we would have done this, Okay, Well,
<v Speaker 4>if you did that, then what about these three things
<v Speaker 4>that that would have affected, and then those three things,
<v Speaker 4>I've all four things that would have Like, it's not easy,
<v Speaker 4>so I can absolutely appreciate that too. But all right, well,
