Yellow Eyes in the Forest: A Childhood Encounter | The Transparent Figure in the Louisiana Woods

SASQUATCH THEORY

In this episode of Sasquatch Theory, I speak with Paul from Louisiana about a chilling childhood encounter that took place near open fields and dense woods behind a friend’s home. While spending time outdoors, Paul and his friend heard an unnatural sound approaching from the tree line—something large and deliberate. What Paul witnessed next defied logic: a tall, roughly seven-foot figure that appeared hazy and semi-transparent, yet clearly defined enough to see glowing yellow eyes watching them from the woods. The encounter left Paul shaken, but it deeply traumatized his friend—so much so that when he told his parents, they dismissed the experience entirely. This episode explores the emotional aftermath of encounters that are ignored or denied, the possibility of cloaked or translucent entities, and why some sightings don’t fit the traditional physical Sasquatch description. Was this Bigfoot… or something else entirely?

<v Speaker 1>Tonight on Sasquatch Theory, I'm joined by Paul from Louisiana,
<v Speaker 1>who shares a disturbing childhood encounter that stayed with him
<v Speaker 1>for decades. What began is a normal day playing near
<v Speaker 1>open fields and woods behind a friend's home quickly turned
<v Speaker 1>into something unexplainable. As an unknown presence approached. Paul witnessed
<v Speaker 1>a towering figure nearly seven feet tall, appearing hazy, almost transparent,
<v Speaker 1>with unmistakable yellow eyes watching from the edge of the forest.
<v Speaker 1>This encounter didn't just leave questions, it left lasting fear, disbelief,
<v Speaker 1>and trauma. Tonight, Paul walks us through what he saw,
<v Speaker 1>how it affected those involved, and why some encounters don't
<v Speaker 1>leave physical evidence, only scars. If you enjoy listening to
<v Speaker 1>Sasquatch Theory like the video, subscribe to the channel and
<v Speaker 1>be sure to comment down below. And if you have
<v Speaker 1>your own bigfoot or crypted encounter you would like to
<v Speaker 1>share with me here on the channel, feel free to
<v Speaker 1>reach out sometime at Sasquatch Theory at outlook dot com.
<v Speaker 1>With all that being said, let's dive straight into Paul's
<v Speaker 1>bigfoot encounters from the state of Louisiana. All right, Paul,
<v Speaker 1>Welcome to Sasquatch Theory. How are you doing.
<v Speaker 2>Today, good Miguel, thank you for having me on.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, absolutely, Paul. If you would tell me a little
<v Speaker 1>bit about yourself, where you're from, and your bigfoot encounters
<v Speaker 1>and experiences from the very beginning, please.
<v Speaker 2>Sounds good man. So I live in southern Louisiana. I
<v Speaker 2>grew up in a town that is probably about twenty
<v Speaker 2>minutes or so from New Orleans. And the encounter that
<v Speaker 2>I had, I think I was around nine or ten,
<v Speaker 2>so it probably put me or put us in the
<v Speaker 2>eighties seventy nine eighty, probably around nineteen eighty it began.
<v Speaker 2>It was kind of spanned a couple of days, so
<v Speaker 2>I'll just kind of start at the beginning. I went
<v Speaker 2>down my street. I had a lot of kids in
<v Speaker 2>my subdivision that were around my age. You played together,
<v Speaker 2>hung up with friends, that type of thing. Went down
<v Speaker 2>the street to a particular friend's house, I think if
<v Speaker 2>I recall right, his name was Jeff or something like that.
<v Speaker 2>And across the street from his house there were a
<v Speaker 2>couple other homes, but kind of catty corner was some
<v Speaker 2>empty fields, some lots that weren't developed. They might have
<v Speaker 2>had trees on them. I think they had a couple
<v Speaker 2>of trees. But those lots backed up into the perimeter
<v Speaker 2>of a forest, right, So we used to go ride
<v Speaker 2>back in the forest in the woods, you know, quite
<v Speaker 2>a bit on our bikes, hanging out sometimes with build
<v Speaker 2>fires back there, and just kind of do kid stuff.
<v Speaker 2>I loved going in the woods when I was a
<v Speaker 2>kid with the were without friends, I was. I was
<v Speaker 2>always in there, hanging out, looking for things, just you know,
<v Speaker 2>it was it was fun. I mean, I've always appreciated
<v Speaker 2>the outdoors like that ever since I was I was
<v Speaker 2>a little kid. So anyway, this particular day, me and
<v Speaker 2>this fellow named Jeff, friend of mine. We weren't, I guess,
<v Speaker 2>real close, but you know, close enough to hang out periodically.
<v Speaker 2>So anyway, we were on our bikes and went to
<v Speaker 2>enter this forest. Again. It's it's across kind of Catecoria
<v Speaker 2>from this house, empty ish fields, and there was a
<v Speaker 2>ditch between the back of those lots right at the
<v Speaker 2>back of those properties. Again, no homes are one of
<v Speaker 2>these particular properties, Yet there was the ditch between the
<v Speaker 2>back of those properties and where the woods began. The
<v Speaker 2>perimeter of the woods. So there was a couple of
<v Speaker 2>like pieces of wood two by fours whatnot that allow
<v Speaker 2>you to walk over the ditch, you know, push your
<v Speaker 2>bike over, walk your bike over, that type of thing.
<v Speaker 2>So we had done that, hanging out in there, playing
<v Speaker 2>just you know, being silly and stuff. And I want
<v Speaker 2>to recall that that we had heard something. I'm not
<v Speaker 2>sure exactly what it was. It wasn't a growl anything
<v Speaker 2>like that. It was something though, that alerted us. I
<v Speaker 2>don't know if there's certain sounds. I want to say,
<v Speaker 2>it sounded maybe like something approaching us. Didn't see anything,
<v Speaker 2>Nothing was thrown, you know, no wood knocks or anything
<v Speaker 2>like that. No cracked wood or you know, no hollers
<v Speaker 2>it really anything like that. But I do recall us
<v Speaker 2>hearing something. You know, we stopped, we looked, kind of
<v Speaker 2>laughed it off a little bit, continued playing, riding our bikes,
<v Speaker 2>just you know, really messing around, and then heard it
<v Speaker 2>again and we're kind of, you know, let's let's just
<v Speaker 2>get out of here, right. I want to say the
<v Speaker 2>time of day, it was probably in the late afternoon,
<v Speaker 2>wasn't quite dusk yet, but it was you know, when
<v Speaker 2>you're the woods, you know, the tree still had leaves
<v Speaker 2>on them, so under the canopy it was kind of
<v Speaker 2>dark and it was getting darker. So were like, let's
<v Speaker 2>get out of here. So we left the next day.
<v Speaker 2>The next day I did. After that, we did the
<v Speaker 2>same thing. Hey, let's go, you know, right, bianks in
<v Speaker 2>the woods. And this is when I guess things started
<v Speaker 2>to get a little bit interesting. So as we're walking
<v Speaker 2>our bikes across that little wooden bridge, like I mentioned,
<v Speaker 2>I'm in front of him walking my bike. He's behind
<v Speaker 2>me walking his bike. We get into the woods probably
<v Speaker 2>I don't know, maybe thirty or so feet if that far,
<v Speaker 2>and we hear something in the bush, right, things shaking, moving,
<v Speaker 2>And then I look up and I see something. I
<v Speaker 2>don't know what it is. It's kind of it's how
<v Speaker 2>people describe cloaked Bigfoot. It wasn't like exactly like we
<v Speaker 2>see in the movie, you know, right, It wasn't like
<v Speaker 2>digitized or really I guess waving necessarily. But I could
<v Speaker 2>tell something was there, something kind of hazy, very tall.
<v Speaker 2>Outside of that, I couldn't make any at that moment anyway,
<v Speaker 2>any real distinctive, you know, impressions. Right. It was just
<v Speaker 2>kind of this this thing, and it looked like it
<v Speaker 2>was approaching us. So I'm like, oh, you know, well man,
<v Speaker 2>you see that. You know, we're both kind of you know, shouting,
<v Speaker 2>oh my god whatever. Jeff behind me, like he really
<v Speaker 2>he got very, very scared. And then that's a big
<v Speaker 2>part of this the story that I'm going to tell
<v Speaker 2>is how how different our experiences were, which which is
<v Speaker 2>kind of interesting. So he, you know, backs up, he
<v Speaker 2>gets out of here, he's he's in the in the lot.
<v Speaker 2>At this point, I turn around. I start walking my
<v Speaker 2>bike out, uh, you know, as fast as I can
<v Speaker 2>right without falling over and going into the ditch. So
<v Speaker 2>walking my bike. As I crossed the bridge, I looked
<v Speaker 2>behind me and well, I'm sorry, lead back up. Before
<v Speaker 2>I started pushing my bike across the bridge, I remember
<v Speaker 2>looking up and I think this is the first moment
<v Speaker 2>that I saw two eyes. And it wasn't you know.
<v Speaker 2>I was, like I said, ten years old, nineteen years old.
<v Speaker 2>I was probably like four foot something. I distinctly remember
<v Speaker 2>having to look up. So it was almost as if
<v Speaker 2>this thing at the time may have been around seven
<v Speaker 2>feet or so. And to let you know how close
<v Speaker 2>it was, like if it was you know, if it
<v Speaker 2>was if I could reach out and touch it. It
<v Speaker 2>was a solid object. It was within arm's reach as
<v Speaker 2>a kid, So I mean you're talking maybe like two feet,
<v Speaker 2>you know, my arm was maybe back then two two
<v Speaker 2>and a half feet. I remember looking up and I
<v Speaker 2>was again couldn't really make it out, but I remember
<v Speaker 2>starting to see two eyes or maybe what I thought
<v Speaker 2>was eyes. I crossed the bridge and as I'm walking
<v Speaker 2>through the field again hastily, right, we're going to his
<v Speaker 2>house because like we're scared, he's practically crying at this point.
<v Speaker 2>I want to describe his demeanor in a second. Two
<v Speaker 2>as I as I get into the field, I look
<v Speaker 2>back and this is where I saw two yellow eyes
<v Speaker 2>and they were lower this time. They were probably my
<v Speaker 2>eye height, you know again as a four four year old,
<v Speaker 2>five year old I'm sorry, nine or ten year old,
<v Speaker 2>I meant four or five feet. So whatever it was,
<v Speaker 2>right have either knelt down, crouched down, whatever it is,
<v Speaker 2>But the eyes were much lower this time. The eyes,
<v Speaker 2>as I recall them, were yellow, and it didn't have
<v Speaker 2>a perfect, you know, elliptical outline. It was almost as
<v Speaker 2>if it was kind of jagged edge with black black
<v Speaker 2>flex in it maybe, I know, that's strange to describe
<v Speaker 2>it that way. It's really hard to recall, you know,
<v Speaker 2>this far back because I'm fifty four now, so this
<v Speaker 2>is know, a long time ago, but I do remember
<v Speaker 2>seeing that. So we, you know, we go across the street,
<v Speaker 2>we go to his house and he immediately we don't
<v Speaker 2>even know if we get inside, but his dad is
<v Speaker 2>like around the doorway or whatever, and he starts telling
<v Speaker 2>his dad about this encounter. And this kid, Jeff, let
<v Speaker 2>me tell you about him. He is. He's a very
<v Speaker 2>i would say, stoic, intellectual kid. Right. He wasn't into sports,
<v Speaker 2>a little different. I mean, you know, nowadays might refer
<v Speaker 2>to him kind of as a nerd or something like that, which,
<v Speaker 2>you know, I'm a nerd. Everybody's a nerd in their
<v Speaker 2>own way. But back then, like he played Dungeons and Dragons.
<v Speaker 2>I remember that was a big thing in his collected
<v Speaker 2>a lot of Star Wars toys and whatnot. I mean
<v Speaker 2>a lot of kids did that at that at that
<v Speaker 2>point because Star Wars had just come out of you know,
<v Speaker 2>a couple of years prior to. But he wasn't a
<v Speaker 2>really gregarious kid, you know, kind of a loner, an introvert,
<v Speaker 2>very uh it just you know, kind of like an intellectual.
<v Speaker 2>I mean he appreciated science, you know that that type
<v Speaker 2>of thing. I do remember that about it. It was a
<v Speaker 2>smart kid. So as he is, you know, talking I
<v Speaker 2>say talking kind of screaming to his dad, he's he's crying.
<v Speaker 2>I mean this thing it really affected him in a
<v Speaker 2>much more profound way than it affected me. Now, I was,
<v Speaker 2>you know, scared and curious, but I didn't feel like
<v Speaker 2>as if we were going to be in harm's way.
<v Speaker 2>I just knew we needed to, you know, get out
<v Speaker 2>of there. We didn't know what it was. But he
<v Speaker 2>was really beside himself, I mean like ridiculously beside himself, screaming, crying,
<v Speaker 2>red faced. I mean, it was just it was bad.
<v Speaker 2>He's telling his dad hiss like a you know, basically
<v Speaker 2>dismissing him, which you know, of course upset the kid
<v Speaker 2>more because he's like, we're not lying about this. You know. Again,
<v Speaker 2>he's not a kid that was you know, big into
<v Speaker 2>imagination and you know things like that. He's not a
<v Speaker 2>kid that I would say did a lot of bad
<v Speaker 2>things or got into trouble. So you know, I guess
<v Speaker 2>his parents not believing him. His dad not believing him
<v Speaker 2>was a little unusual, right, straight lace kid. So I
<v Speaker 2>left at that point it got uncomfortable because again it really,
<v Speaker 2>whatever it was, really affected him to the point where
<v Speaker 2>I mean he was almost speechless. Now after that, again
<v Speaker 2>went home, really didn't think about it much until a
<v Speaker 2>few years ago I started kind of getting back into
<v Speaker 2>you know, looking into big Foot, sasquash, just things in general.
<v Speaker 2>And I'll tell you at the time though, you know,
<v Speaker 2>for a nine ten year old kid, in my mind,
<v Speaker 2>I thought it might have been a ghost, some type
<v Speaker 2>of spirit. You know. I don't know what it was, right,
<v Speaker 2>I can tell you the last thing I would have
<v Speaker 2>thought would it had been something at all related to sasquatch, Bigfoot,
<v Speaker 2>anything like that. That was absolutely not something in my
<v Speaker 2>mind or maybe even vocabulary. I mean, I knew about Bigfoot,
<v Speaker 2>you know, I'd heard things. Again, this is nineteen eighty round,
<v Speaker 2>so I knew about it and stuff, but nothing, you know,
<v Speaker 2>nothing too material or nothing that you know. I didn't
<v Speaker 2>read books on it. I didn't really see shows on it.
<v Speaker 2>Although I do recall my dad talking about the legend
<v Speaker 2>of Boggy Creek. I do remember that that was really
<v Speaker 2>my only you know, exposure to the subject. Now I
<v Speaker 2>will say this too regarding the woods, because that was
<v Speaker 2>one thing. As I look back, I'm like, okay, was
<v Speaker 2>that area even big enough, you know, for something like
<v Speaker 2>that to be there at the time. And again, this
<v Speaker 2>around nineteen eighty, a lot of where we lived was undeveloped.
<v Speaker 2>It wasn't rural, you know, it was a suburban area.
<v Speaker 2>But the perimeter of the of the woods, of the
<v Speaker 2>forest I'm talking about connected to right, like if you
<v Speaker 2>had an aerial shot of it. Right, let's say we're
<v Speaker 2>looking at Google Maps, We're looking down at it, and
<v Speaker 2>this is nineteen eighty. It was thousands and thousands of
<v Speaker 2>acres of woods, swamp, ponds, lakes, right, It really was.
<v Speaker 2>And it actually went all the way to Lake Pontratrain,
<v Speaker 2>So it was a big area. So you know that,
<v Speaker 2>I guess that kind of answered my question of you know,
<v Speaker 2>is the territory even place something like this would would
<v Speaker 2>go or care about or you know whatever. Right, I
<v Speaker 2>never did, as I recall it. I think I might
<v Speaker 2>have spoken with Jeff about this afterwards, but he was
<v Speaker 2>very he was very short about it. He really didn't
<v Speaker 2>he didn't want to talk about it. You know, I
<v Speaker 2>could tell it really affected him, though I don't even
<v Speaker 2>know how much I hung out with him after that, right,
<v Speaker 2>and I'd probably say a year or two later, him
<v Speaker 2>and his family had had moved again. Looking back, the
<v Speaker 2>strangest thing to me about it, and having looked into
<v Speaker 2>other stories, I watch a lot of channels on this,
<v Speaker 2>this type of thing, just out of curiosity. So I
<v Speaker 2>am a believer. I've got my own thoughts on on
<v Speaker 2>you know what it is, kind of taking facts from
<v Speaker 2>a lot of different sources. This event I experienced was
<v Speaker 2>different than how he experienced it. I had. I'd also
<v Speaker 2>did a podcast episode or or YouTube channel episode on
<v Speaker 2>Strange Familiars, and I remember talking to the guy who
<v Speaker 2>hosts that, right, and he said, one of his favorite
<v Speaker 2>stories is when there was another person, you know, the
<v Speaker 2>head encounter, and he too was with someone else, but
<v Speaker 2>they both experienced the encounter very very differently. One of them,
<v Speaker 2>like me, I guess it was, you know, non threatening,
<v Speaker 2>I would say, again, scary, unusual. You know, you know
<v Speaker 2>you're taking aback. I mean, you know you don't want
<v Speaker 2>to you want to get away from it. You know,
<v Speaker 2>you don't know about it. It's strange, but the other
<v Speaker 2>party was very threatened by it and saw it in
<v Speaker 2>a very dark light. I don't know, demonic. I don't
<v Speaker 2>want to go so far as to say it was that,
<v Speaker 2>but definitely something that went just beyond the you know, wow,
<v Speaker 2>I've never seen that before. This is strange, don't know
<v Speaker 2>what it is. You know, let's be cautious and get
<v Speaker 2>away from it, right, And he said again. The host
<v Speaker 2>of the other YouTube channel was like, you know, that
<v Speaker 2>was by far one of his most favorite stories, just
<v Speaker 2>because how differently two people at the same time the
<v Speaker 2>same encounter, if you will, perceived it differently, And you know,
<v Speaker 2>wondered whether or not the thing affected that, right, if
<v Speaker 2>my perception in living through the experience at that moment,
<v Speaker 2>was affected in a way by how he how it
<v Speaker 2>wanted me to perceive it as opposed to how Jeff
<v Speaker 2>perceived it. Interesting dichotomy, right, So but really that, you know,
<v Speaker 2>that's that's kind of it. It's not really a I guess,
<v Speaker 2>nearly as good as some of the other encounters. But
<v Speaker 2>one thing I have noticed is that since I recalled this,
<v Speaker 2>and like I said, I've been on a couple of
<v Speaker 2>other podcasts. I have heard stories, a few other stories
<v Speaker 2>so far obviously talk about cloaking, right, but I've even
<v Speaker 2>heard some talk about yellow eyes and describing them in
<v Speaker 2>a way similar to how I recall this, which I
<v Speaker 2>thought was very interesting, right because you hear about I've
<v Speaker 2>heard about red eyes, maybe even orange eyes. Nothing. I
<v Speaker 2>hadn't really heard anything about yellow eyes. But I have
<v Speaker 2>since heard some about that cloaking. Obviously, you know that's
<v Speaker 2>come up. It seems like that's coming up more and more.
<v Speaker 2>I've never seen any orbs that I recall. But whatever
<v Speaker 2>it was, I'm pretty sure whatever we had experienced a
<v Speaker 2>day or two before that made us want to leave,
<v Speaker 2>you know, get out the woods. It was the same
<v Speaker 2>thing that we encountered that time. And I do remember
<v Speaker 2>this thinking back on it, because I was leaving in
<v Speaker 2>the woods. The thing was so high. I remember thinking
<v Speaker 2>to myself, right, because it was the only I guess
<v Speaker 2>the thing I had frame of reference was as tall
<v Speaker 2>as like a horse, you know, when a horse obviously
<v Speaker 2>stands like looking up at a horse's eyes when you're
<v Speaker 2>a kid that's tall, you know, like that's a big horse.
<v Speaker 2>You have to look up to its eyes. I remember
<v Speaker 2>thinking that at the time, not that I thought it
<v Speaker 2>was a horse, but just from a scale standpoint. Then
<v Speaker 2>as I was walking out of the woods, it was
<v Speaker 2>very It was very close to me, which is kind
<v Speaker 2>of creepy. It was, like I said, so close that
<v Speaker 2>it wasn't like, you know, if it was ten fifty
<v Speaker 2>feet away, I would look up at an ankle to
<v Speaker 2>see the eyes. I had to literally tilt my head
<v Speaker 2>back and look up to see its eyes. So it
<v Speaker 2>was within two to three feet of me. Now it
<v Speaker 2>did stay at the edge of that edge of that forest.
<v Speaker 2>I don't recall it coming into those lots, you know,
<v Speaker 2>the empty lots that I mentioned. I don't recall it
<v Speaker 2>crossing the bridge. I just remember looking back seeing two
<v Speaker 2>eyes or what I think were eyes lower but at
<v Speaker 2>you know, at the edge of the at the edge
<v Speaker 2>of the forest. Before you know, one would get on
<v Speaker 2>walk start walking on that bridge to cross the bridge,
<v Speaker 2>to go into into those empty lots, you know. I
<v Speaker 2>thinking back now too, I can't recall if I had
<v Speaker 2>gone back in those particular woods. I probably didn't at
<v Speaker 2>that time or since then. And then you know, fast
<v Speaker 2>forward probably I don't know, five six seven, maybe a
<v Speaker 2>decade later homes were developed. There a lot of the woods,
<v Speaker 2>guess you know, within within close to my street and subdivision.
<v Speaker 2>A lot of that had been since developed. There's still
<v Speaker 2>a lot of acreage. Again, if you look on Google Maps,
<v Speaker 2>there's still a lot of acreage that's undeveloped, swamp area,
<v Speaker 2>you know, stuff like that. But yeah, so that's that's
<v Speaker 2>pretty much it. I don't recall hearing anything. I don't
<v Speaker 2>recall other than maybe you know, loud rustling of bushes
<v Speaker 2>and and things like that. We do recall that because
<v Speaker 2>that's what scared us out the first time, and it's
<v Speaker 2>what alerted us us to it the second time. But
<v Speaker 2>it wasn't how it wasn't you know, any type of growling.
<v Speaker 2>I don't think there were any wood knocks, but but
<v Speaker 2>it was there were. There wasn't enough noise to alert
<v Speaker 2>us to stop and look. And like I said, we
<v Speaker 2>weren't even I don't even know if we had gotten
<v Speaker 2>on our bikes to ride. That's how quickly it happened
<v Speaker 2>when we got into the woods that second time. I don't,
<v Speaker 2>you know, I don't know if it was expecting us.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know what it was, but whatever it was,
<v Speaker 2>it was close to the edge of the woods. We
<v Speaker 2>had maybe gotten in I think I mentioned this, maybe
<v Speaker 2>twenty thirty feet possibly, and then we immediately, you know,
<v Speaker 2>got scared, saw what I saw, and then then we
<v Speaker 2>crossed the bridge and went back. So that's that's as
<v Speaker 2>I can recall.
<v Speaker 1>All right, Paul, I appreciate you for sharing your experience
<v Speaker 1>with me. And the yellow eyes is the most common
<v Speaker 1>report when it comes to the sasquatch creatures. I've seen
<v Speaker 1>it before, and some people describe it as like a
<v Speaker 1>yellowish green color or just yellow. I mean, like you
<v Speaker 1>said before. Some say it's orange and others say it's yeah,
<v Speaker 1>but yeah, yellow seems to be the most common one.
<v Speaker 1>I've even heard people say I had like a like
<v Speaker 1>a silver color to the eyes, but yeah, it sounds
<v Speaker 1>like a cryptic creature. And sometimes you find these things
<v Speaker 1>in the least likely areas, places where you don't think
<v Speaker 1>they'd be at, but when you really look at it,
<v Speaker 1>it makes sense. There's usually a big forest nearby, or
<v Speaker 1>even if it's a small lot like a small woods
<v Speaker 1>it may be like a funnel area that connects two
<v Speaker 1>large forests to each other and they cross through there.
<v Speaker 1>But also people say that they're attracted to women and children,
<v Speaker 1>and I think that's true when kids are out there
<v Speaker 1>plane the things they take notice.
<v Speaker 2>I have heard a lot about about that. And what
<v Speaker 2>got me back into this, I would say the subject
<v Speaker 2>is I like put in. I don't, I guess go
<v Speaker 2>to them nearly as much as I'd like to, but
<v Speaker 2>National forests. Somehow I got a hold of David Poliitis's uh,
<v Speaker 2>you know, YouTube channel and started watching that and it
<v Speaker 2>was really really interest in missing for one one, which
<v Speaker 2>led to you know, the books he wrote and the
<v Speaker 2>subject matter, and just really just started listening to a
<v Speaker 2>lot of different encounters and recollections of things, and that
<v Speaker 2>attracted me to some other channels, and you know, there's
<v Speaker 2>certain ones that that I like more than others. You Know,
<v Speaker 2>one thing that I guess I'm particular about is I
<v Speaker 2>don't I don't look at this at all as something
<v Speaker 2>that's entertaining. I I try to stay away from heavily
<v Speaker 2>or what I believe to be heavily embellished encounters just
<v Speaker 2>you know, general hyperbole to make it oh fascinating, Like yeah,
<v Speaker 2>I'm sure you heard of Todd standing, you know, things
<v Speaker 2>that he said and done, Uh, and I'm sure he's
<v Speaker 2>a nice guy. It's not about that. I just it.
<v Speaker 2>I do believe there's something to this. Uh. You know,
<v Speaker 2>I think if if you're someone who spent enough time
<v Speaker 2>looking into this, uh, you know, from a factual standpoint,
<v Speaker 2>it's hard to deny just the math. Right, You're talking
<v Speaker 2>about centuries of experiences that have been reported around the world.
<v Speaker 2>You can't a person can't rationalize that everyone is lying
<v Speaker 2>about it? Right now? Is it? You know sasquatch all
<v Speaker 2>the time? Is it? Is it what we were thinking
<v Speaker 2>it might be? I don't know, but there's there's definitely
<v Speaker 2>something to it. So it it is happening, right And
<v Speaker 2>I'll tell you too. The more that I look into
<v Speaker 2>certain things it is, it's become difficult for me to
<v Speaker 2>not think that it doesn't have or you know, paranormal capabilities,
<v Speaker 2>right like, I absolutely believe it is. It could be alien.
<v Speaker 2>I don't necessarily think it's it's from here. I mean,
<v Speaker 2>the whole Ape thing I completely disagree with. I don't
<v Speaker 2>know if they've been here and have stayed here. Part
<v Speaker 2>of me thinks, you know, they can come here as
<v Speaker 2>they want or need to. I do think they can
<v Speaker 2>and have left certain locations instantly. Right. You hear about
<v Speaker 2>footprints just stopping in the middle of you know, in
<v Speaker 2>the middle of like a snowfield, right or things like that,
<v Speaker 2>And I mean, how does that happen? And it's not
<v Speaker 2>just once or twice, right, And it's not just uh,
<v Speaker 2>you know, the source making it up. There's enough encounters
<v Speaker 2>of that, the math of it, there's so much of it.
<v Speaker 2>It's hard to deny that that isn't happening, right, or
<v Speaker 2>something like that isn't occurring. So I do believe that,
<v Speaker 2>you know, people called the WU aspect of it. I
<v Speaker 2>don't look at as much as WU is. I think
<v Speaker 2>that's just something that that particular thing can do. And
<v Speaker 2>I think it does it. I think it it leverages
<v Speaker 2>its capabilities to cloak or disappear or come and go.
<v Speaker 2>You know. The ORB thing about many people having experienced
<v Speaker 2>both you know, very near to one another, same location,
<v Speaker 2>same time frame. It it definitely opens it up to
<v Speaker 2>think that, you know, is that or they associate with
<v Speaker 2>one another? Is that how they travel? Is that is
<v Speaker 2>that it you know, in an ORB form before it materializes.
<v Speaker 2>I think there's connections, you know, really through all that. Again,
<v Speaker 2>it's just it's hard to look at it a different way.
<v Speaker 2>Once you've experienced enough information, you've taken enough information from
<v Speaker 2>enough different sources to come up to your own conclusion,
<v Speaker 2>it's hard to think about it a different way because
<v Speaker 2>there's just so much I guess description right supporting these
<v Speaker 2>things happening. I mean, I could just say it's all bs,
<v Speaker 2>you know, it's it's but I don't see how someone
<v Speaker 2>can logically say that all of these things are are lies. Now.
<v Speaker 2>I don't think someone would outright say, well, no, you know,
<v Speaker 2>I'm not saying that all these people are lying and
<v Speaker 2>have been lying over these centuries. But it's definitely not
<v Speaker 2>you know, a bigfoot, it's it's something that's easily explainable,
<v Speaker 2>or you know, it could be some species of eight
<v Speaker 2>or you know, primate that's that's not been discovered. I
<v Speaker 2>completely disagree with that. I just again, the the I
<v Speaker 2>hope to and I believe they're the facts as I've
<v Speaker 2>taken them in. You know, and I've heard statistics of
<v Speaker 2>only about twenty percent at least in the United States.
<v Speaker 2>I came across somewhere that only about twenty percent of
<v Speaker 2>the cases are reported, which still I want to say,
<v Speaker 2>is four hundred four hundred plus a year, and if
<v Speaker 2>you do the math there, you know you're talking about
<v Speaker 2>multiple encounters a day if you were to get one
<v Speaker 2>hundred percent of the reports coming in, right, So there's
<v Speaker 2>a lot. There's a lot to this when you start
<v Speaker 2>really just looking at it objectively, you know, it's just
<v Speaker 2>it's very hard to disagree that something isn't happening, you know.
<v Speaker 1>Oh yeah, absolutely, and you feel like the thing that
<v Speaker 1>seemed to be invisible was what people refer to as
<v Speaker 1>cloaking and that's why you believe that they could be supernatural.
<v Speaker 2>Yes, And you know, look, man, until I started hearing
<v Speaker 2>stories and again, it started with missing for one, David Politis,
<v Speaker 2>and then I think it was Sasquatch Chronicles I had
<v Speaker 2>come across. Started listening to that and then a couple
<v Speaker 2>other channels. It started making me recall what happened. And
<v Speaker 2>I was like, well, you know, I remember that being
<v Speaker 2>part of the story, right. I remember not seeing an
<v Speaker 2>actual figure, but seeing eyes, and I remember seeing you
<v Speaker 2>know this this color eyes, even though I didn't realize
<v Speaker 2>as many were yellow like you had you had said,
<v Speaker 2>So that's that's good to hear it it's more common
<v Speaker 2>than I thought. But after hearing enough of it, I
<v Speaker 2>was like, well, maybe it wasn't you know, my imagination.
<v Speaker 2>Maybe it wasn't you know, erquit to hear a spirit.
<v Speaker 2>Maybe maybe it was a sasquatch. Maybe as crazy as
<v Speaker 2>that may sound, maybe that's what it was. I just
<v Speaker 2>didn't you know, have the terminology or the reference at
<v Speaker 2>that point. You know. The other thing too, about about
<v Speaker 2>bigfoot sasquatch. It's and this is just my opinion, right,
<v Speaker 2>but I'm going to share I'm getting tired of so
<v Speaker 2>many people is just trying to essentially monetize this for
<v Speaker 2>clicks and views. And I mean people, you know, good
<v Speaker 2>YouTubers that that have had you know, good credible channels
<v Speaker 2>for some time that are now starting getting into you know,
<v Speaker 2>big sasquatch just just to attract the viewers. Right. I
<v Speaker 2>understand that I believe in making money and capitalism all
<v Speaker 2>this stuff, but they're not doing it because they're trying
<v Speaker 2>to help to add to you know, the data, right,
<v Speaker 2>They're not helping to forward progress on this. They're just
<v Speaker 2>doing it to attract more viewers and get more clicks,
<v Speaker 2>and they don't seem to really give a give a
<v Speaker 2>crap about which real or isn't you know, And as
<v Speaker 2>a matter of fact, the more fantastic it sounds, the
<v Speaker 2>better because it's going to attract more. I just I'm
<v Speaker 2>not in it for the fantasy. I'm not in it
<v Speaker 2>for the entertainment. And it's you know, honestly why some
<v Speaker 2>I've had others reach out to me that I'm just
<v Speaker 2>not going to UH to speak to because I don't
<v Speaker 2>like how they do what they do. I do like
<v Speaker 2>how you how you've come about. You know, you've done
<v Speaker 2>a really good job. And I commented on this for
<v Speaker 2>someone who I think is you know, I'm gonna say
<v Speaker 2>fairly new UH having your channel and you you've got
<v Speaker 2>some fantastic individuals you know come on to UH onto
<v Speaker 2>your side and and speak through this. You've done a
<v Speaker 2>very good job with that. I like how you you
<v Speaker 2>view this. You know one thing that and you know
<v Speaker 2>this can be said for all the channels, right, but
<v Speaker 2>I remember sas Squatch chronicles and big for society. You
<v Speaker 2>know one thing that says, oh, we want to make
<v Speaker 2>this place comfortable for people to not be judged and
<v Speaker 2>just tell us your story. You know, you're welcome here
<v Speaker 2>every YouTube channel that's that's focused on big better sas
<v Speaker 2>Squatch can say the same thing. That's to me, that's
<v Speaker 2>not that's not reason enough to delve into this, right.
<v Speaker 2>I think if you're serious about it, and you really
<v Speaker 2>are passionate about it, then the mission should be trying
<v Speaker 2>to find out as much information as you can to help,
<v Speaker 2>you know, build out the puzzle of it, right, to
<v Speaker 2>fill in some blanks, build some consistency, get to the
<v Speaker 2>point where things are more easily proven and maybe you know, forecasted.
<v Speaker 2>If we can get to that you know, point of
<v Speaker 2>luxury right where we where we know, hey, based on
<v Speaker 2>these situations, maybe these situations are are primed for an encounter,
<v Speaker 2>right based on data and things like that. So that's
<v Speaker 2>one thing I want to ask you, is you know,
<v Speaker 2>when you started your channel, what what was the mission
<v Speaker 2>or is there is there kind of a you know,
<v Speaker 2>a goal that you have in doing this? What what
<v Speaker 2>made you want to do what you're doing with it.
<v Speaker 1>I wanted to learn as much as I could about
<v Speaker 1>the Sasquatch subject, and I figured I'd find other like
<v Speaker 1>minded people, especially around me here in Missouri, that have
<v Speaker 1>encountered these things. And I've met a few people around here,
<v Speaker 1>not too many, not like I thought I would. But overall,
<v Speaker 1>I've met a ton of other people, and I've learned
<v Speaker 1>things about the Sasquatch that I just couldn't figure out
<v Speaker 1>on my own. And I mean other than that, I
<v Speaker 1>mean hearing other people's stories, you know, keeps me grounded
<v Speaker 1>with what I've seen, and you know, reminds me that
<v Speaker 1>other people are seeing them as well, and that's kind
<v Speaker 1>of what motivates me. It's also a good feeling to
<v Speaker 1>listen to somebody's story when nobody else will in their life,
<v Speaker 1>and that's the way society is. But other than that,
<v Speaker 1>I don't know what I contribute to the community. I
<v Speaker 1>do monetize, but I mean, nobody's going to do any
<v Speaker 1>work for free. It keeps the channel running.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, there's nothing wrong with it.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, But other than that, it's really cool seeing people
<v Speaker 1>present their tracks. Some people contact me all the time
<v Speaker 1>with vocalizations and they don't know what it is, and
<v Speaker 1>I help them boost the audio and kind of bring
<v Speaker 1>it out. And yeah, it's it's really cool just getting
<v Speaker 1>out in nature. I think that's the main part, is
<v Speaker 1>just you know, stepping away from society and going out
<v Speaker 1>there and experiencing the activity that most people wouldn't believe
<v Speaker 1>or don't have the time to experience for themselves because
<v Speaker 1>they're too busy with their nine to five and their families.
<v Speaker 2>That's true, man, you you're hitting it on the head
<v Speaker 2>right now. That's one of the reasons that I listened
<v Speaker 2>to you in particular. Is it because of that? You know?
<v Speaker 2>One thing I was going to mention what I think
<v Speaker 2>would be interesting. It'd be it'd be attractive for someone
<v Speaker 2>like me to want to listen to. There's a few
<v Speaker 2>stories that have been told on other channels that I recall,
<v Speaker 2>and it'd be interesting to follow up somehow. I don't
<v Speaker 2>know how easy or difficult. It would be, probably pretty difficult.
<v Speaker 2>But there are some encounters that really stand out, and
<v Speaker 2>I would love to know or have someone you know,
<v Speaker 2>do another interview right with that person. There was a
<v Speaker 2>particular one that maybe the most astounding that I've ever heard,
<v Speaker 2>and I hope it's true. Again, I don't think there's
<v Speaker 2>any reason, you know, this person relay this story. I
<v Speaker 2>don't think they did it for money or you know,
<v Speaker 2>notoriety or anything like that, which is always you know,
<v Speaker 2>it makes you feel like it's more genuine that way.
<v Speaker 2>It was one and there was a female. It was
<v Speaker 2>a lady from the UK and the one I heard.
<v Speaker 2>She may have been another channels, but I think it
<v Speaker 2>was on Sasquatch Chronicles and she was in the seventies.
<v Speaker 2>It was on the West coast in California. I think
<v Speaker 2>she was attempting to take photographs of some wildlife. Get
<v Speaker 2>where she says it on the story in the encounter,
<v Speaker 2>I believe.
<v Speaker 1>I think it was like in Washington State, like on
<v Speaker 1>the beach, wasn't it.
<v Speaker 2>Yes, yes, you know that one. Her name's Claire, Yes,
<v Speaker 2>you know the what I'm talking.
<v Speaker 1>About where the creature looked like it was gliding.
<v Speaker 2>And she was like, I don't know if they knocked
<v Speaker 2>her out, Like she woke up in a different location
<v Speaker 2>than she recalled, you know, seeing these things. One was
<v Speaker 2>approaching her. She woke up sometime later in a different location,
<v Speaker 2>not far but you know, something happened, like they it
<v Speaker 2>attacked her maybe or something she saw more than one.
<v Speaker 2>That was absolutely astounding to me. I listened to it
<v Speaker 2>multiple times. I hadn't heard it in a while, but
<v Speaker 2>it would be wonderful to hear her story again. You
<v Speaker 2>know to see like ones like that, and that's not many,
<v Speaker 2>you know, it's probably less than ten, I think in
<v Speaker 2>my mind anyway, that really stand out that you like,
<v Speaker 2>you know, she sounded very genuine. That is an absolutely
<v Speaker 2>unique encounter. You know, I wonder whatever happened to that lady, right,
<v Speaker 2>and and I'd like to know also like where and
<v Speaker 2>I do think she said at least somewhat in the
<v Speaker 2>story where it was, but absolutely remarkable. I mean, it
<v Speaker 2>was just imagine that happening, Like how God, I'd be
<v Speaker 2>so scared. I just like there's no words to describe it,
<v Speaker 2>you know what I mean, It's like, oh my god,
<v Speaker 2>what the hell is going on? But she had physically
<v Speaker 2>physically been affected by it, like I want to say,
<v Speaker 2>she had bruises and stuff, and it was it was
<v Speaker 2>not a good situation. But I'm just using that, you know,
<v Speaker 2>as an example of it'd be interesting to follow up
<v Speaker 2>with these certain ones that that you know, had these
<v Speaker 2>types of experiences. But yeah, man, I think you're doing
<v Speaker 2>a great job, Miguel. You know, I appreciate what you've
<v Speaker 2>done and the people you've had on and I'm I
<v Speaker 2>like how you do what you do and for the
<v Speaker 2>reasons you do it, you know, And I think, yeah, man,
<v Speaker 2>And and you know, I think we all, even the believers,
<v Speaker 2>which we are, obviously we've had our own encounters, we
<v Speaker 2>all need to maintain some level of healthy skepticism because
<v Speaker 2>there there are a lot of stories out there that
<v Speaker 2>I think, you know, they're there. There are likely some
<v Speaker 2>facts in there, but it's the ones that get off
<v Speaker 2>the range a little bit that are a little questionable.
<v Speaker 2>I'm not saying it's you know, I'm not here to judge,
<v Speaker 2>but I do like the ones that you know seem
<v Speaker 2>to come from a more credible source. And I think
<v Speaker 2>that's one thing that's missing in this subject matter too,
<v Speaker 2>is having more people that I would say are well grounded,
<v Speaker 2>you know, just I guess individuals that you know represent
<v Speaker 2>uh kind of a different, to be more objective scientific
<v Speaker 2>strata of experiences, right. I think that would help bolster
<v Speaker 2>interest in this incredibility of it. But overall, yeah, I mean,
<v Speaker 2>you can tell, you know, it's it's getting enough exposure.
<v Speaker 2>I mean, I feel like there's a Sasquatch YouTube channel
<v Speaker 2>created every two or three weeks these days, but you're
<v Speaker 2>you're standing out, in my opinion on one that's doing
<v Speaker 2>it right. And I think your user base, I think
<v Speaker 2>you've grown as quickly as it has because of that, right.
<v Speaker 2>I think there's a lot of people that see what
<v Speaker 2>you do and how you do it and appreciate that
<v Speaker 2>as opposed to some others that you know, we're just
<v Speaker 2>taking maybe a little bit of a different path. So,
<v Speaker 2>but you do a good job.
<v Speaker 1>Thank you so much, Paul, and I really appreciate you
<v Speaker 1>for sharing your report from Louisiana. Did this happen anywhere
<v Speaker 1>near Caddle Lake or is this a completely different area
<v Speaker 1>of the state.
<v Speaker 2>It's in a different area, but I have heard stories
<v Speaker 2>about about that area, and you know, the the Chafalaya Basin,
<v Speaker 2>which is an area between Baton Rouge and Lafayette mainly,
<v Speaker 2>I guess you would say around lafayat Louisiana. There's just
<v Speaker 2>a tremendous amount of a swamp there and it's just
<v Speaker 2>a big wooded at least partly wooded area that's you know,
<v Speaker 2>just thousands and thousands of acres, and there's a lot
<v Speaker 2>of that in Louisiana though. There's a lot of places
<v Speaker 2>like that where you know, if you think about something
<v Speaker 2>like this existing, there's enough sustenance to survive, right, wildlife shelter,
<v Speaker 2>different things like that. I mean, it's absolutely prime for that.
<v Speaker 2>Now you don't have you know, mountains hills here. It's
<v Speaker 2>it's unfortunately it's ridiculously flat. But there's a lot of wildlife,
<v Speaker 2>you know, and I've heard there stories throughout or of Louisiana,
<v Speaker 2>not as many, I don't think in northern Louisiana as
<v Speaker 2>I would say southern Louisiana. Another area to me that
<v Speaker 2>stood out where I've heard several stories is what is
<v Speaker 2>referred to as the Big Thicket, which is an area
<v Speaker 2>east Texas kind of on the border of Louisiana. I
<v Speaker 2>don't know if you've heard of that before, if you
<v Speaker 2>haven't look into that, there's a lot of stories from
<v Speaker 2>that that area, which I think, if I had to guess,
<v Speaker 2>probably encompasses you know, one hundreds, if not thousands of acres.
<v Speaker 2>People go hunting there, you know, outdoor sportsmen and such.
<v Speaker 2>But I've heard quite a few stories encounters from from
<v Speaker 2>that area in particular, and that's always been you know,
<v Speaker 2>of interest to me because from where I'm at now
<v Speaker 2>here in Louisiana, that's I think two hours away from
<v Speaker 2>me maybe two and a half, so.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, that's not too far away. Yeah, Paul, we're finished,
<v Speaker 1>and I appreciate you for logging the report on the channel.
<v Speaker 1>It really means a lot. If you run into a
<v Speaker 1>cryptid in the future, definitely reach out or anyone that's
<v Speaker 1>seen these things send them my way. I'd love to
<v Speaker 1>hear about their encounters.
<v Speaker 2>I'll definitely do that, man. I appreciate it to go.
<v Speaker 2>Stay in touch, buddy, and I'd be happy to help
<v Speaker 2>with anything else. I have a good holiday, man, Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>happy holidays. You take care of yourself, okay, Youtoe ben
<v Speaker 2>O Baye.
<v Speaker 1>Paul's encounter reminds us that not all sightings are clear, physical,
<v Speaker 1>or easy to explain. Some experiences exist in a gray
<v Speaker 1>area where fear, disbelief, and unanswered questions collide. Whether this
<v Speaker 1>was a cloaked sasquatch, a dimensional phenomenon, or something beyond
<v Speaker 1>our current understanding, the impact it had was real. These
<v Speaker 1>are the stories that don't always make headlines, but they
<v Speaker 1>linger for a lifetime. As always, I appreciate you taking
<v Speaker 1>your time to listen to these podcasts and if you've
<v Speaker 1>had an encounter of your own, especially one that defines explanation.
<v Speaker 1>You're not alone. Feel free to reach out sometime at
<v Speaker 1>Sasquatch Theory at outlook dot com. Until next time, stay
<v Speaker 1>aware of what's watching from the tree line.
