<v Speaker 1>Welcome on in, everybody. It's the Non Tender Podcast, Take
<v Speaker 1>two this week because we just went live with no audio.
<v Speaker 1>But we're here now, and I want to give a
<v Speaker 1>huge thank you to Kim once again for the second
<v Speaker 1>time today for being here. I told you, well, no,
<v Speaker 1>I didn't tell you, but a couple of minutes before
<v Speaker 1>we went live, you jumped on because I was going
<v Speaker 1>to do this on my own today, I.
<v Speaker 2>Know.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, make sure today to it a lean in or
<v Speaker 1>if you're too pregnant, which you are so pregnant now,
<v Speaker 1>which is crazy, just to grab just to grab it,
<v Speaker 1>just to grab it, take it, run away with it.
<v Speaker 1>Treat it as as you will. We hit some lower
<v Speaker 1>thirds earlier and we laughed about Kim's lower third being
<v Speaker 1>a lower lower third.
<v Speaker 2>Today it's not as low as I remember.
<v Speaker 1>You know, it's still pretty. It's still oddly OCD annoying. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>sorry for going live with no audio, where once again
<v Speaker 1>I am manning all of this on my own. As
<v Speaker 1>far as the tech side goes, I haven't been feeling
<v Speaker 1>well the last week or so, so I told him
<v Speaker 1>not to come in today just in case I'm lethargic
<v Speaker 1>for any kind of reason. Literally, yesterday at like what
<v Speaker 1>was it, Kim, like three pm or something.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, somewhere around there.
<v Speaker 1>We woke up early like before that to go do
<v Speaker 1>an obg way and appointment. We're up to two. We're
<v Speaker 1>up to going every two weeks now. It feels like
<v Speaker 1>we're always in that office. It feels like every day
<v Speaker 1>we're in that office.
<v Speaker 2>Every time I turn around.
<v Speaker 1>I guess tried to go to the DMV and that
<v Speaker 1>was a nightmare. I don't know what is happening at.
<v Speaker 2>The n Standard. I don't. I mean, they said that
<v Speaker 2>you're supposed to have those real ideas, or you can
<v Speaker 2>fly domestically or some shit, but doesn't explain why there's
<v Speaker 2>a line down the street. We think, what is going on?
<v Speaker 1>So I got a new car, and I want to
<v Speaker 1>talk about that. At some point I ditched the TAS. Look,
<v Speaker 1>I'm so happy about it. Oh God, I feel so
<v Speaker 1>much better at the right moment. Would have been a
<v Speaker 1>year or two ago, to be honest, But I finally
<v Speaker 1>got rid of it. I mean, and I keep trying
<v Speaker 1>to go and register my new car, and every time
<v Speaker 1>we try boss the DMV, there's a line around the corner.
<v Speaker 2>It's like they're giving a weight, donuts or I don't understand.
<v Speaker 1>All we can assume is everyone's rushing to get these
<v Speaker 1>real ideas.
<v Speaker 2>Don't have to have it until May. And also you
<v Speaker 2>can still use your passport.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know what. I don't think people have passed.
<v Speaker 2>Unless it's on weekdays, like these people have to take
<v Speaker 2>off work this day and they're just standing outside all
<v Speaker 2>day long.
<v Speaker 1>I don't understand what's happening. But I don't have like
<v Speaker 1>four hours to wait at the DM.
<v Speaker 2>I just do wish that was only going to take
<v Speaker 2>four hours.
<v Speaker 1>It was probably will take longest. Oh anyway, and then
<v Speaker 1>we got home yesterday like three and I've been so
<v Speaker 1>tired for like a week, just like lethogic, like, and
<v Speaker 1>I've been I've been fighting off the naps. But yesterday
<v Speaker 1>I was like, I'm gonna lie down for a minute.
<v Speaker 1>And then so it was like nine pm, yeah, and
<v Speaker 1>I pretty much just had a whole sleep. And then
<v Speaker 1>at like two am, Ham was messaging me like, hey,
<v Speaker 1>am I coming tomorrow and I was like, my guy,
<v Speaker 1>I don't even know if I can sleep tonight because
<v Speaker 1>like I was up, I was asleep all day. So
<v Speaker 1>uh yeah, on the off chance that I'm sick. I
<v Speaker 1>told Ham not to come, and I told him like,
<v Speaker 1>I don't think I'm even going to do the podcast again,
<v Speaker 1>which is a shame because we missed last week and
<v Speaker 1>I talked about I tweeted about doing a two hour
<v Speaker 1>episode this week to make up for it, and then
<v Speaker 1>I didn't even know if I could make it. But
<v Speaker 1>then as I was mosey moseying down here this morning,
<v Speaker 1>I was like, you know what, I can't miss another week.
<v Speaker 1>I don't think we can do a two hour today,
<v Speaker 1>just because Kim is so immensely.
<v Speaker 2>Breagnant do two hours.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know. If I hour and say good night,
<v Speaker 2>I would rather take this.
<v Speaker 1>I'd rather do a two hour when we at least
<v Speaker 1>have like Ham and some Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>I think it would be better with him.
<v Speaker 1>It would be easy to bounce conversation for two hours.
<v Speaker 2>So we did a two hour with him and it
<v Speaker 2>felt like it was ten minutes. Yeah, So yeah, wait
<v Speaker 2>for him.
<v Speaker 1>So I think we'll just go to do a normal
<v Speaker 1>episode today. I might even do the bonus episode for
<v Speaker 1>Patreons on my own. I apologize for all of that.
<v Speaker 1>I apologized for missing last week. So last week, oh,
<v Speaker 1>I should have I can bring up my Instagram maybe.
<v Speaker 1>Last week we had Kim's baby shower and it was
<v Speaker 1>a It was a surprise, but not a surprise, so
<v Speaker 1>we knew our house was being used on Saturday. But
<v Speaker 1>Kim's beautiful, wonderful, lovely, adorable friends Kaylor and Live planned
<v Speaker 1>this whole thing. It was really quite a surprise to us.
<v Speaker 1>They put it was so insane, it was so nice.
<v Speaker 1>It was Richard Scary themed. I posted the photos up
<v Speaker 1>over on Instagram. Hopefully Instagram will allow me to show
<v Speaker 1>with them because I'm not lugged in here. Let me
<v Speaker 1>screenshow over here. So this was everybody that came minus Kristen,
<v Speaker 1>my friend, and all our friend and our boss. Well
<v Speaker 1>it's not real.
<v Speaker 2>It's fun. Yeah. I know.
<v Speaker 1>She's my manager at Screenwave, but manager in the sense
<v Speaker 1>of she helps me with YouTube and getting sponsor spots
<v Speaker 1>and handling merch drops. But but no, I am the
<v Speaker 1>I'm the guy. I don't have a boss, you know,
<v Speaker 1>technically she's the boss. And she came in and uh yeah,
<v Speaker 1>Unfortunately we didn't think about taking a group photo until
<v Speaker 1>she left. When she left a little early.
<v Speaker 2>Oh yeah, because she has her own bait.
<v Speaker 1>She has her own baby who just turned one yet.
<v Speaker 1>But here for the audio listeners. We're standing here with
<v Speaker 1>Ian Erica and their dog Chico, Bob and Hanner and
<v Speaker 1>their dog Zim Bingle in the back. By the way,
<v Speaker 1>Bingle has lost like one hundred pounds. Yeah, he is
<v Speaker 1>so hot and skinny.
<v Speaker 2>Now, Bingle has put in the work. I think got
<v Speaker 2>a tan as well.
<v Speaker 1>He's looking good.
<v Speaker 2>Can't prove it, but I think he's gotten.
<v Speaker 1>He's looking good. And you know what good thing I married,
<v Speaker 1>because he just came out and I'm telling you he's
<v Speaker 1>looking I mean, he's a hearty, loves video games. You know,
<v Speaker 1>we can play games together. We can bro out anyway.
<v Speaker 1>Then we have Kim's mom, Kayla and Matt, who unfortunately
<v Speaker 1>did not bring the head doggies. But Kayla was the
<v Speaker 1>one that I don't imagine.
<v Speaker 2>That drive would have been a nightmare.
<v Speaker 1>It's a long drive. They drive three hours to come
<v Speaker 1>hang out with us all the times.
<v Speaker 2>Did that drive once and I was like, we've.
<v Speaker 1>Done it twice once for their wedding. Oh and their wedding,
<v Speaker 1>I was sick, like I was like COVID sick. And
<v Speaker 1>I told them I was like I am so so
<v Speaker 1>I remember waking up and being like, I can't go,
<v Speaker 1>like I feel I was like the most I've ever
<v Speaker 1>been sick, and like I can't drive three hours and
<v Speaker 1>Kim doesn't really drive those long drives, so I would
<v Speaker 1>be driving. So I messaged Matt and I was like, look,
<v Speaker 1>I'm so sick, I don't think I can come. Thinking
<v Speaker 1>he'd be like it's okay, and he's like, it's an
<v Speaker 1>outdoor wedding. Well, quarantine in the course, it's an outdoor wedding.
<v Speaker 1>You'll be fine, And I was like, see you there.
<v Speaker 1>So I drove six hours that day. Yeah, I don't
<v Speaker 1>know how I did that.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah that was brutal and obviously the wonderful, gorgeous woman
<v Speaker 1>of the hour carriage. Yeah, but you look so pretty
<v Speaker 1>such a nice dress too. Then me and then Dalla
<v Speaker 1>and then Kip and Live Live was the other one
<v Speaker 1>that helped us, or helped Kim and get Caleb on
<v Speaker 1>this whole thing, and they did so I wish there
<v Speaker 1>was more pictures in here, some of the stuff they did,
<v Speaker 1>because I just took pictures of us. But they made
<v Speaker 1>Live and Kip stuffed and made like twenty what's his name?
<v Speaker 1>Slowly do you get a picture of the worms? They're
<v Speaker 1>not in here? Well so, actually no, Bob's holding one here.
<v Speaker 1>You can see there might be a better picture somewhere.
<v Speaker 1>And then our neighbor from across the street, Calli, came
<v Speaker 1>by too. She's very sweet. She wanted to be a
<v Speaker 1>part of it. There's me and Kim. There's the girls
<v Speaker 1>that put on the whole thing, and they did so good.
<v Speaker 1>They this was okay. So I love this picture so much.
<v Speaker 1>Kim and I are dying laughing because I went to
<v Speaker 1>grabbed Kim and I didn't know where my hands were going.
<v Speaker 1>I just just grabbed your boob.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah yeah.
<v Speaker 1>And then I think Kayla was taking the photos. She
<v Speaker 1>just started taking the pictures anyway. I love that picture
<v Speaker 1>so funny.
<v Speaker 2>And then me and kay well mostly Kayla, I'll say mostly.
<v Speaker 2>Kayla made the little the props that were holding up
<v Speaker 2>in the next one.
<v Speaker 1>Oh yeah, these lights.
<v Speaker 2>She did the cardboard. And then we just stuck a
<v Speaker 2>bunch of paper to them. Yeah, they barely tell. It's
<v Speaker 2>multiple sheets of paper.
<v Speaker 1>Much is scary. So there's all the boys and then
<v Speaker 1>there's all the girls. Now a lot of people have
<v Speaker 1>mentioned and said, well, not all people. I think Bob
<v Speaker 1>mentioned it that baby showers are usually just for the girls.
<v Speaker 2>But I don't see why, because.
<v Speaker 1>You decided pretty early on that you wanted it to
<v Speaker 1>be just everybody.
<v Speaker 2>Because here's the thing everybody's having, with the exception of
<v Speaker 2>like a couple people, everybody's having to drive this long
<v Speaker 2>distance to come to this, And I'm like, why would
<v Speaker 2>we not have all the same people that we had
<v Speaker 2>at friends Giving?
<v Speaker 1>It was essentially friends giving too, it was friends giving
<v Speaker 1>in the middle of the year. Yeah, and it was awesome. Actually,
<v Speaker 1>it was so much on. It was so sweet, It
<v Speaker 1>was so wholesome. It was nice to not it was
<v Speaker 1>nice to not feel like I I had to do anything. Really,
<v Speaker 1>I just had to kind of talk to people. I
<v Speaker 1>didn't have to plan it. So I just realized. The
<v Speaker 1>comment is the guy in the black black lungs leave
<v Speaker 1>your brother bingal. I guess we do look similar.
<v Speaker 2>I think they mean Matt, Oh.
<v Speaker 1>Matt, you know, Matt and I look very similar all
<v Speaker 1>the time. No, I've I said that to you before.
<v Speaker 2>Have very similar like head shapes.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, it's the same nose. I agree. I think Matt
<v Speaker 1>and I look very similar. He could definitely be my
<v Speaker 1>brother for sure. Bob. Every time I think he brought it.
<v Speaker 1>Every time we do anything at my house, Bob literally
<v Speaker 1>locks into my coffee machine for like two or three hours.
<v Speaker 1>He just will be making everyone coffee.
<v Speaker 2>He's just bista Bob.
<v Speaker 1>He brought his own beans. This time, there's Chris wed One. Okay,
<v Speaker 1>I snucker in.
<v Speaker 2>Oh. This was so adorable, such a cool idea.
<v Speaker 1>This was again Kaylor and Lived planning. But they brought
<v Speaker 1>a ton of baby onesies, all different sizes, bibs and
<v Speaker 1>bibs and then letters and stickers and then paint that
<v Speaker 1>like pen paint, and they had everybody design a onesie
<v Speaker 1>and then we did a competition. Everyone voted for their
<v Speaker 1>favorite and some and I think lives one up here
<v Speaker 1>in the top right it says what the and there's
<v Speaker 1>picture of a dove. And this was adorable. Hannah made
<v Speaker 1>a bunch of them.
<v Speaker 2>Hannah. Hannah went crazy talent that we did not know,
<v Speaker 2>and that is she's very good at drum.
<v Speaker 1>I know, I wish I had some close ups here,
<v Speaker 1>but she made one with the Teddy Fresh logo and
<v Speaker 1>it's like identical the Teddy.
<v Speaker 2>Fresh logan bought it like it's this one.
<v Speaker 1>Has a bunch of PlayStation symbols on it and it
<v Speaker 1>literally looks like official PlayStations.
<v Speaker 2>Where she got the triangle stickers because I thought she
<v Speaker 2>used letters and I got up close, I was like, no, that's.
<v Speaker 1>Free hande Okay. She did the Triforce and this game
<v Speaker 1>controller one too. Mine is the Dino one. I think
<v Speaker 1>mine is my favorite. Which one was yours, Kim.
<v Speaker 2>It's the one with a little bear in the car
<v Speaker 2>that just says.
<v Speaker 1>Beep, Oh yeah, I don't know. I think it might
<v Speaker 1>be covered.
<v Speaker 2>I think it's no, it's next to the it's that one.
<v Speaker 2>I think next to.
<v Speaker 1>The trip we should have we should have taken some Yeah, yeah, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>we're taking some better pictures of that.
<v Speaker 2>That's okay. Everybody brought the dogs though, because I love
<v Speaker 2>seeing everybody's dogs.
<v Speaker 1>I also Kayla made I should have got pictures of everything.
<v Speaker 1>But Kayla and her mom made these beautiful cookies like
<v Speaker 1>it's their business and they're they're so good. The pictures
<v Speaker 1>on them were all Richard stick scary characters. They were perfect.
<v Speaker 2>Are you sure you didn't get a picture of the.
<v Speaker 1>I have pictures, but I didn't put I have an
<v Speaker 1>uploaded Okay, well, I don't know if they're very cool.
<v Speaker 1>And I felt bad for the dogs, so I went
<v Speaker 1>and bought all the cookies and then all the three
<v Speaker 1>of the dogs got there. There it is, Okay, there's
<v Speaker 1>the one they made like twenty of those. Tell me
<v Speaker 1>those don't look like a fish or Richard's scary.
<v Speaker 2>It's like something that you would have.
<v Speaker 1>To When she walked in with those, I was like,
<v Speaker 1>where did you buy those? And she was like, I
<v Speaker 1>made them. And that's something about Kip and Live and
<v Speaker 1>our friendship is so bizarre because Live is an identical
<v Speaker 1>clone of you and vice versa. It's and Kip is
<v Speaker 1>an identical clone of me and vice versa. Yeah, and
<v Speaker 1>like she made this what the duck onesie for example? Yes,
<v Speaker 1>and you've bought both Kayla and Live packages of like
<v Speaker 1>thank you gissing.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah. I wanted to get in little baskets because they
<v Speaker 2>did so much stuff, and I'm like, well, I want
<v Speaker 2>to do like a thank you basket. And so we
<v Speaker 2>got them mugs and you picked out a Hello Kitty
<v Speaker 2>and My Melody and then I accidentally dropped the Hello
<v Speaker 2>Kitty one, so I had to go and get a
<v Speaker 2>different mug, and I forgot all about it, like what
<v Speaker 2>it said in it. It had like little pictures of ducks.
<v Speaker 2>I got it from Joe Anne's and then she sent
<v Speaker 2>me a picture when she got home. She goes, did
<v Speaker 2>you remember that?
<v Speaker 1>I was like, no, yeah, it said what the duck
<v Speaker 1>on the moment And.
<v Speaker 2>That's literally the onesie that she made.
<v Speaker 1>Completely unrelated. And then like Kip and I so like
<v Speaker 1>we played a game at the baby shower, yeah, where
<v Speaker 1>there was a strip of like measurement baby tape. You
<v Speaker 1>had to guess how big kid's belly is, and so
<v Speaker 1>we had everybody guess and then hang on the wall
<v Speaker 1>all these different sizes.
<v Speaker 2>Of crazy range except for and Kip.
<v Speaker 1>And mine were identical to the millimeter, like we're talking.
<v Speaker 1>Some people's were like a foot or two different and
<v Speaker 1>ours were exactly the same.
<v Speaker 2>Weird.
<v Speaker 1>It is weird. Our brains are bizarre. And not to
<v Speaker 1>take away from our friendship with Kayler on Matt either,
<v Speaker 1>because we love They usually go to bed so early,
<v Speaker 1>and we sat up until like one am Saturday night
<v Speaker 1>watching Kyla Saturday Night Live. Kayla was falling asleep on
<v Speaker 1>the gall our. Thing lately has been well, that was good.
<v Speaker 1>We were watching TV. But I thing lately has been
<v Speaker 1>finding really bad movies and watching them together.
<v Speaker 2>We've found some gems last time slather House, haven't. I
<v Speaker 2>highly recommend Velo Pasta yea very good look up.
<v Speaker 1>Those terrible movies.
<v Speaker 2>Delightful and they're getting sequels this year.
<v Speaker 1>So that was weird too. We watched back to back
<v Speaker 1>one night recently. Oops, well let's just play the intro,
<v Speaker 1>but I can't. I kept forgetting I was going to
<v Speaker 1>play that anyway, so that kind of worked out. I
<v Speaker 1>don't know if that sounded horrible or way too loud.
<v Speaker 1>I couldn't hear it for some reason.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>Sorry about that. Maybe you didn't even hear it? Did
<v Speaker 1>you even hear that? Was that even audible to you? Guys?
<v Speaker 1>Could have just been dead silent? Anyway, that was our
<v Speaker 1>baby shower. Thank you for indulging us in that. Reuben says,
<v Speaker 1>I thought this was the Nontendo podcast it usually is. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I think it. I think it still is. There's a
<v Speaker 1>big sign behind my head, isn't that?
<v Speaker 2>It's the slight tangent?
<v Speaker 1>What's your problem? What's your beef?
<v Speaker 2>Like?
<v Speaker 1>He didn't like slaughter house. Yeah, it's the podcast is
<v Speaker 1>supposed to be about, not us, Right, We're not allowed
<v Speaker 1>to have any personality here. You know what, Kim, Just
<v Speaker 1>don't be pregnant.
<v Speaker 2>Well it's a little late for that.
<v Speaker 1>Just stop being pregnant. Just stop being happy and excited
<v Speaker 1>for our baby. Terrible movie. I recommend Valhalla Rising. We
<v Speaker 1>will put it on the list.
<v Speaker 2>It's terrible. Do you mean delightful?
<v Speaker 1>Because it was all the movies we watched were delightful.
<v Speaker 2>They were so stupidly funny.
<v Speaker 1>Don't forget how many days left? Oh you're so right?
<v Speaker 1>Oh why can't I hear it?
<v Speaker 2>Only twenty?
<v Speaker 1>Hold on, let me try that one more time. All
<v Speaker 1>that I think this was a town? Okay, twenty days
<v Speaker 1>remain until and yeah, only twenty They's is just shia
<v Speaker 1>three weeks run and out of time. Also, the day
<v Speaker 1>before is April first, so we're nineteen days away from
<v Speaker 1>getting pranked, I'm sure by somebody, by a lot of people,
<v Speaker 1>by companies, by organizations. Do you have a name picked out?
<v Speaker 1>We are gonna tell you, but we have.
<v Speaker 2>We have two that we like, and uh, we're just
<v Speaker 2>gonna wait and see what happens.
<v Speaker 1>Basically, it's called Nontendo. It's not about Nintendo. That's I know.
<v Speaker 1>I know you get it because you're a fan and
<v Speaker 1>you listen to the podcast, But yeah, it is Nontendo,
<v Speaker 1>not Nintendo, which is my little scapegoat anytime we don't
<v Speaker 1>want to talk about Nintendo. Nontendo actually makes sense that
<v Speaker 1>they talk about everything else but Nintendo. Exactly. Why why
<v Speaker 1>are we one hundred and thirty one episodes in and
<v Speaker 1>having to explain this to you guys?
<v Speaker 2>I think it's just a little jarring. If you join
<v Speaker 2>late and you're just looking at pictures of a baby shower.
<v Speaker 1>I don't think and to that, I say, I'm sorry,
<v Speaker 1>We're happy and excited. Actually I think it's episode one
<v Speaker 1>thirty two. I think we the idea.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I don't know what day it is today Thursday.
<v Speaker 1>Five bucks. You thought about naming him link you get
<v Speaker 1>five bucks, you.
<v Speaker 2>Get five bucks. We were considering Lincoln.
<v Speaker 1>There is a reason why we can't do that, and
<v Speaker 1>it's because, well, I can say.
<v Speaker 2>The reason why is because the middle name is my
<v Speaker 2>granddad's na which is Franklin and Lincoln. Franklin Hawker sounds
<v Speaker 2>like a law firm.
<v Speaker 1>So Kim says that every time I don't. That's not
<v Speaker 1>even the reason for me, and I don't even hear it.
<v Speaker 2>Oh I do.
<v Speaker 1>Lincoln Franklin Hawker sounds cool as hell and not like
<v Speaker 1>a law firm. To me. The thing that I always
<v Speaker 1>say it sounds like is link frank which is literally
<v Speaker 1>literally just sounds like a hot dog. Now, if we
<v Speaker 1>get a sponsorship or onto something. Now, I intentionally don't
<v Speaker 1>want to talk about Nintendo apt for that one guy,
<v Speaker 1>but we do have some things to talk about, so
<v Speaker 1>we can dive in before this episode hits an hour
<v Speaker 1>and we bail. Thank you to everybody that actually cares
<v Speaker 1>about us and our lives. Thank you so much, love you.
<v Speaker 1>They're almost wasn't an episode today.
<v Speaker 2>I'll have you know to be grateful for the crumbs
<v Speaker 2>we give you.
<v Speaker 1>I can quit the show anytime.
<v Speaker 2>I live here. I could just close my laptop.
<v Speaker 1>I'm keeping it alive because I love doing it. But
<v Speaker 1>I don't have to. You know that, right, Um, Okay,
<v Speaker 1>let's talk about really quickly. I didn't actually did not
<v Speaker 1>know about this, or if I need it. If I
<v Speaker 1>did know, I forgot. But Nintendo San Francisco is getting
<v Speaker 1>a grand opening in May. Apparently, they announced it last
<v Speaker 1>May May four.
<v Speaker 2>I don't recall it.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I do a whole podcast about sometimes Nintendo today
<v Speaker 1>about a baby, and I don't remember ever talking about
<v Speaker 1>this a year ago. Now maybe I'm I don't know,
<v Speaker 1>I don't remember. But anyway, I have always thought it's
<v Speaker 1>really bizarre that Nintendo only have one US store. Nintendo
<v Speaker 1>is a sick place for it, but you would think
<v Speaker 1>California is a prime spot for another Nintendo store.
<v Speaker 2>I'm surprised they're not doing it in Los Angeles.
<v Speaker 1>I think San Fran makes sense. There's a lot of
<v Speaker 1>stuff happening in San Fran and I think gaming related stuff.
<v Speaker 1>And I'm pretty sure a kid and christ even live
<v Speaker 1>in San Fran. Not that Nintenda probably picked it for them, but.
<v Speaker 2>They're headquarters there or something.
<v Speaker 1>Uh No, the headquarters is in Seattle, which is another
<v Speaker 1>thing where it's like it almost makes more sense for
<v Speaker 1>them to do a store in Seattle.
<v Speaker 2>I wish they would do another Nintendo museum.
<v Speaker 1>That would be really cool. California would be a good
<v Speaker 1>place for that. I mean it would be California now
<v Speaker 1>has the park, so putting a store and a park
<v Speaker 1>in the same spot makes a lot of sense. People
<v Speaker 1>that are coming in to check out the park will
<v Speaker 1>also go to the store. Yep, yeah, it makes a
<v Speaker 1>lot of sense, and I hope to visit it one day.
<v Speaker 1>It opens in halfway through May May fifteenth, and obviously
<v Speaker 1>our baby will be babying by that point. Out they'll
<v Speaker 1>be crawling around by that point. You'll probably be even talking,
<v Speaker 1>knowing my brainiac child. Okay, so I won't be traveling
<v Speaker 1>for a while. I highly doubt i'll see this store.
<v Speaker 1>I mean we could maybe plan a trip end of
<v Speaker 1>the year start of next year, but definitely not anytime
<v Speaker 1>after it opens. I've been meaning to get out there
<v Speaker 1>because Kit and Christa want me to come do that
<v Speaker 1>show I was supposed to do kind of funnies show,
<v Speaker 1>and they're out there as well.
<v Speaker 2>I say, there's something else with Vinnie. You're supposed to
<v Speaker 2>do something with Vinnie.
<v Speaker 1>Probably everyone lives in California, so you know, I would
<v Speaker 1>love to go, but we're gonna have to time that
<v Speaker 1>one out. So yeah, someone go check out that store
<v Speaker 1>when it opens and send us some footage to show
<v Speaker 1>on the show. It's located at three three one Powell
<v Speaker 1>Street in Union Square. Oh my god, is that.
<v Speaker 2>Gonna happen every time.
<v Speaker 1>It's just a fun transition between topics of this story.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know how, I don't know. It's okay, it's
<v Speaker 1>a it's a great new song and we love hearing
<v Speaker 1>it all. Right, next up, now that we've done the
<v Speaker 1>transition into this part of the show, the main topic
<v Speaker 1>at hand, actually, let me do it. Let me do
<v Speaker 1>a post check here on chat. Canada needs one. I
<v Speaker 1>think Japan is the only place that has them outside
<v Speaker 1>of the one in New York. I think that's it.
<v Speaker 2>I do think that you could do one in a
<v Speaker 2>major city in Canada, like Toronto or something. I feel
<v Speaker 2>like it would do well.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, and Ntendo store would do well, I think
<v Speaker 1>in any major city.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>Probably, it just really it does. It does surprise me.
<v Speaker 2>It is weird, yeah, because I mean they they probably.
<v Speaker 1>Because in Japan there's like ten stores. There's one in Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I don't want to stop listing them all and forgetting them,
<v Speaker 1>but all of them, you know, like Osaka, Kyoto, uh Tokyo,
<v Speaker 1>probably one or two more that I'm forgetting. Yeah, and
<v Speaker 1>obviously Nintendo is huge here in America. There'd be no
<v Speaker 1>reason not to slap one on either side. Of the country. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>all right, uh jump scare love the intro? Yes, sorry, guys,
<v Speaker 1>I don't know what's wrong with me, buttons, I swear
<v Speaker 1>I know what I'm doing most of the time. When
<v Speaker 1>I live stream, there isn't issues. When I do the podcast,
<v Speaker 1>I can't help myself. All right, this is and hopefully
<v Speaker 1>when we cut back next time, the intro doesn't play again,
<v Speaker 1>because that's what's doing it for some reason. Pokemon Go
<v Speaker 1>the Niantic, the studio that made Pokemon Go. Pokemon Go
<v Speaker 1>was almost ten years at this point, I believe it
<v Speaker 1>launched in twenty sixteen, was sold in a three point
<v Speaker 1>five billion deal to mobile gaming giants scope Ly. Scope Ly.
<v Speaker 1>They also bought Pigman Bloom in that deal because Pickman
<v Speaker 1>Bloom I think runs off the same u bass that
<v Speaker 1>Pokemon Go does, where it's like a map of the
<v Speaker 1>real world. Yeah, so they've sold both those properties to them.
<v Speaker 1>Scopely owns Monopoly Goal and so there's a bunch of
<v Speaker 1>it's different. I want to read the article, but there's
<v Speaker 1>a bunch of different conversations going around here. One than
<v Speaker 1>the main one, I guess, is what's going to happen
<v Speaker 1>to Pokemon Go. Because it's uncommon for any game to
<v Speaker 1>get bort out and then the new owner not make
<v Speaker 1>a bunch of changes to try and make more money
<v Speaker 1>because they want to justify the three point five billion
<v Speaker 1>dollars they just spent and went. Apparently, and I'm not
<v Speaker 1>super informed here, so chat you can let me know more.
<v Speaker 1>But apparently when this company bought Monopoly Go, a lot
<v Speaker 1>of the player base were very upset at the changes
<v Speaker 1>they made and it became a lot more money hungry
<v Speaker 1>and money grabby.
<v Speaker 2>Well, they said the same thing about the Marvel game
<v Speaker 2>that they bought as well.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, Kim was telling me that too, Marvel Striker's Force
<v Speaker 1>or something Strike Force, some Marvel Mobile game. Never played it,
<v Speaker 1>don't even know what.
<v Speaker 2>It is now. I initially thought it was the card
<v Speaker 2>game that you played.
<v Speaker 1>No, that's Marvel Snap yeah right, yes, yes, And apparently, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>same thing. They bought that out and then it went downhill. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>and I already feel like Pokemon Go was getting it
<v Speaker 1>always was micro transaction.
<v Speaker 2>Heavy, very pay to play e but it.
<v Speaker 1>Was getting even worse. I remember, like I can't remember
<v Speaker 1>all of it that I haven't played in a long time,
<v Speaker 1>but I remember recently they added a thing where when
<v Speaker 1>you went to go look at your eggs, they would
<v Speaker 1>suggest you buy an incubator. I remember that was a
<v Speaker 1>new thing. Rather than the incubators being hidden behind like
<v Speaker 1>the in the shop, it would it would say, Hey,
<v Speaker 1>you can use the one you have, or you can
<v Speaker 1>spend money to get this one. I said, they were
<v Speaker 1>they're pushing you more and more into these. And also,
<v Speaker 1>by the way, the whole concept of incubators for eggs
<v Speaker 1>was such an under the nose way of doing loop boxes,
<v Speaker 1>like it's so funny, like it was such a perfect
<v Speaker 1>way of hiding a loop box. But essentially that's all
<v Speaker 1>it is. You're buying a key to a loop box.
<v Speaker 1>The incubator is the key. The loot box is given
<v Speaker 1>to you for free when you scan and skin stops,
<v Speaker 1>and then you're stuck with them unless you buy a key,
<v Speaker 1>unless you obviously walk a crap ton. But if you
<v Speaker 1>want to open them quicker. You have all these like
<v Speaker 1>loop boxes sat in your inventory.
<v Speaker 2>Yep, of them are duds.
<v Speaker 1>Most of them are duds yet or they were always duds.
<v Speaker 2>I am so stick those pink and yellow eggs, get
<v Speaker 2>them out.
<v Speaker 1>It's also silly, it's crazy to me because like other
<v Speaker 1>games loot boxes, you'll open them, you might get a character,
<v Speaker 1>or if you don't, maybe you'll get like some like
<v Speaker 1>monetary return, maybe some like some gems to respend, like
<v Speaker 1>get some of your money back, or some stickers or
<v Speaker 1>X Y or Z. You know, it's like, oh, I
<v Speaker 1>didn't get the guy I wanted or the hero I wanted,
<v Speaker 1>but I got a banner or something instead of customizable.
<v Speaker 1>But in Pokemon the eggs, you can't really stuff anything
<v Speaker 1>else in there canon Lee other than Pokemon, So when
<v Speaker 1>you've caught all the Pokemon and you've run out of
<v Speaker 1>ones to hatch, you're stuck just getting repeats for some candy.
<v Speaker 2>And they won't let you delete the eggs either.
<v Speaker 1>No, and you can't delete the eggs.
<v Speaker 2>So bad because you could totally be getting all of
<v Speaker 2>the new ones with the new Pokemon, but you're stuck
<v Speaker 2>with all the pink and yellows, so you.
<v Speaker 1>Just keep getting the same things related in a while
<v Speaker 1>and again without reading this yet, and I want to
<v Speaker 1>read it, but without reading this yet, the other thing
<v Speaker 1>I wonder is what kind of information did this company
<v Speaker 1>just acquire.
<v Speaker 2>Because a lot of mapping stuff.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, well, Pokemon Goal.
<v Speaker 2>It was an indexing app.
<v Speaker 1>It was based on an indexing app they had, but
<v Speaker 1>players for the last ten years have been using this
<v Speaker 1>app being geolocated and geo tracked. They implemented a thing
<v Speaker 1>where you'd have to go and take pictures of locations
<v Speaker 1>and pictures of stuff. Yeah, you know, and then you
<v Speaker 1>use your camera app. Sometimes people use the ar to
<v Speaker 1>catch Pokemon and like the real worlds in the background,
<v Speaker 1>their faces are probably in the apps. Like I don't know,
<v Speaker 1>they take pictures in their homes when they play with
<v Speaker 1>their little Pokemon and they pull them out. There's just
<v Speaker 1>a lot of information people with information and world information
<v Speaker 1>in this app that Niantic have just sold to another company.
<v Speaker 1>And maybe Niantic had the best intention for all of
<v Speaker 1>this information and this data that they've acquired, But you
<v Speaker 1>have to imagine this company buying the game. I don't
<v Speaker 1>know how long it's going to take them to make
<v Speaker 1>back their money on just the game with micro transactions,
<v Speaker 1>And I wonder if they had other reasons for wanting
<v Speaker 1>all this information.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know, because if they got the Pickman one too,
<v Speaker 2>and it's the same kind of mapping situation. I wonder
<v Speaker 2>if it's like just some data that they wanted about.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, that's what I'm saying, and just.
<v Speaker 2>In like what kind of games they could put out
<v Speaker 2>later to make more money? Like what did people like
<v Speaker 2>about these and what didn't they like?
<v Speaker 1>You know, I am wondering what they want to do
<v Speaker 1>with this information. And that's a good point too, like
<v Speaker 1>now they know the concept works, Now they have the infrastructure,
<v Speaker 1>they could release their own Pokemon Go type game with
<v Speaker 1>a different franchise.
<v Speaker 2>Really, a lot of people have done that. There was
<v Speaker 2>a Harry Potter one too.
<v Speaker 1>How would that work? O? What are you catching?
<v Speaker 2>Mythical creatures? It was the exact same thing as Pokemon
<v Speaker 2>was just a skin. I don't think it was Niantic
<v Speaker 2>that made it though. I think it was a different company,
<v Speaker 2>but it was the exact same thing.
<v Speaker 1>According to this, there's a Monster Hunna one I'd never
<v Speaker 1>even heard.
<v Speaker 2>That's what I'm saying. Like a lot of people have
<v Speaker 2>put them out.
<v Speaker 1>But Monster Hunna now not go Now? When do you
<v Speaker 1>want Monster hunt now?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah? All right?
<v Speaker 1>So uh yeah, a deal with scopely acquiring Niantic for
<v Speaker 1>three point five billion, bringing franchises like Go pick. Oh,
<v Speaker 1>so Niantic Niantic was the one doing Monster HUNTA that's crazy.
<v Speaker 1>I'd never even heard of it.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, me either.
<v Speaker 1>This is one other spinoff thing I want to have
<v Speaker 1>conversation about. Here is real. People really don't realize how
<v Speaker 1>big nintendois as a franchise. This is another reason why
<v Speaker 1>I cannot forgive the way their games look. And I
<v Speaker 1>apologize for continually going on that tangent. I'm making a
<v Speaker 1>whole half hour video about it for my main channel
<v Speaker 1>right now because I want to get my thoughts out there.
<v Speaker 1>I'm kind of going in and I expect to get
<v Speaker 1>a lot of pushback, so I do want I don't apologize.
<v Speaker 1>I know that upsets like Pokemon fans, but you have
<v Speaker 1>to understand most game franchises never even make three point
<v Speaker 1>five billion in sales ever, and Pokemon and Niantic just
<v Speaker 1>sold Pokemon franchise, sorry, a Pokemon ip a Pokemon game,
<v Speaker 1>a single game for three point five billion. Now, you
<v Speaker 1>could say that Monster Hunter and Pickman were in there,
<v Speaker 1>but let's be real, Pokemon.
<v Speaker 2>Money makers goes. Also, it baffles me that it's still
<v Speaker 2>worth that much after almost ten years.
<v Speaker 1>That's why I'm saying I think there's more reasons why
<v Speaker 1>they wanted it.
<v Speaker 2>Well, yeah, but I mean it's it's.
<v Speaker 1>And I also wonder what Niantic would done, I mean
<v Speaker 1>other than maybe they were like three point five billion.
<v Speaker 2>I think we are not gonna make that now. That
<v Speaker 2>is crazy to make that and more, I don't over.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I don't know what Niantic did before that, but
<v Speaker 1>the Pokemon franchise and and them getting the opportunity to
<v Speaker 1>make this game just netted them all billions of millions
<v Speaker 1>of dollar.
<v Speaker 2>How much money they've made off the app in the
<v Speaker 2>like almost ten years that they've had it, because.
<v Speaker 1>They're insanely rich. Now, nut's crazy. Yeah, they're like I
<v Speaker 1>don't think, and I could be wrong, but I don't
<v Speaker 1>think Zelda as a franchise is even worth three billion.
<v Speaker 1>I don't think so. I know, I don't like the
<v Speaker 1>entire franchise, let alone one little mobile spinoff game.
<v Speaker 2>Pokemon is a perennial product. I think I.
<v Speaker 1>Think Mario, the Mario franchise is worth like twenty billion maybe, so,
<v Speaker 1>I mean that one's up there.
<v Speaker 2>I could be wrong, actually constantly coming out with new
<v Speaker 2>iterations for it. So in that sense, yeah, it's worth
<v Speaker 2>more because it's going to continue on.
<v Speaker 1>Top video game franchises. I just want to see, like,
<v Speaker 1>what this one transaction of a mobile game kind of Mario?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah?
<v Speaker 1>So uh wait, this is selling the copy sold? I
<v Speaker 1>want like a top video game franchise net worth? What
<v Speaker 1>am I looking for here? Companies highest grossing I don't know,
<v Speaker 1>I literally top. Uh, I don't know what I'm looking
<v Speaker 1>for here? What did what? What did you say?
<v Speaker 2>I don't remember in a minute, you.
<v Speaker 1>Just said it.
<v Speaker 2>I know it's gone.
<v Speaker 1>Now all right, let's just do this title Max.
<v Speaker 2>Lego, Super Mario, Pokemon, Yeah, Final Fantasy.
<v Speaker 1>All right, we're just gonna I was trying to do
<v Speaker 1>a Wikipedia, but we'll use this this article and stuff.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, you know, you know, I don't know. I
<v Speaker 1>don't know all of them. Uh, Mario's ninety billion a Pokemon, sorry,
<v Speaker 1>ninety billion, Mario's thirty billion, Call of Duty seventeen billion.
<v Speaker 2>Just look at the discrepancy between the first two numbers.
<v Speaker 1>I know, I know it. That's what that's part of
<v Speaker 1>my video. Like, Also, do you want to guess Disney's
<v Speaker 1>uh Disney's franchise net worth? Like that? Like how much
<v Speaker 1>Mickey Mouse and Disney is worth?
<v Speaker 2>God? I don't even know nicol and dying here for everything?
<v Speaker 1>What was Pokemon ninety one? Nope? Fifty?
<v Speaker 2>What?
<v Speaker 1>Yep? That I I can't stop talking about this. Pokemon
<v Speaker 1>is the world's largest franchise.
<v Speaker 2>Okay, then there's no excuse for your game shit.
<v Speaker 1>I thank you, Kimberlive. Sorry. I don't understand how people
<v Speaker 1>ever defend it, ever defend it. The game game Freak.
<v Speaker 1>I'm making a video about this game Freak is Pokemon, right,
<v Speaker 1>the red and blue that's they made. That, that was
<v Speaker 1>their idea, their concept, their ip at this point now,
<v Speaker 1>in nineteen ninety eight, Pokemon, Nintendo and Creatures, the people
<v Speaker 1>that made the trading card game, they came together to
<v Speaker 1>form the Pokemon Company. They all owe thirty three percent.
<v Speaker 1>So game Freak is Pokemon. They are Pokemon and the games.
<v Speaker 1>When a game releases, that is the launching point then
<v Speaker 1>for the new cards, the new anime, the new everything.
<v Speaker 1>So the games are the first point of con tact
<v Speaker 1>for the entire ninety billion franchise to succeed. There are
<v Speaker 1>two hundred people working at game Freak. Two hundred, Kimberly.
<v Speaker 2>Does that seem like a low number for you know
<v Speaker 2>that you that's how much the company low.
<v Speaker 1>You know how many people work at Monolith Studios to
<v Speaker 1>make Zeno Blade games that sell two million copies three hundred? Like,
<v Speaker 1>I don't, I get it, game freak.
<v Speaker 2>You can literally afford a tree guy, just one guy
<v Speaker 2>that animates all the trees.
<v Speaker 1>Yes, you could afford a tree guy. Yeah, game freak,
<v Speaker 1>I agree, you should keep the company small. You know
<v Speaker 1>Rockstar and all of that that they have thousands of
<v Speaker 1>employees and that gets out of control. But you can
<v Speaker 1>do two fifty. If your games look the way they look,
<v Speaker 1>you can do Monoliths three hundred.
<v Speaker 2>Get a guy that knows how to do texture.
<v Speaker 1>If your games are the launching point of a ninety
<v Speaker 1>billion dollar franchise, then maybe, just maybe they should work.
<v Speaker 2>I just I don't want to. I don't. I don't
<v Speaker 2>want to blow smoke up Disney's butt right now. But
<v Speaker 2>I mean they did dreamlike Valley, and it looks good
<v Speaker 2>and it's it.
<v Speaker 1>Runs like ass on switch, but it.
<v Speaker 2>Does Yeah, yeah, it does look it looks good, and
<v Speaker 2>it's like, it can't be that hard to draw a tree.
<v Speaker 1>Right. Certainly people are gonna pick this upot later and
<v Speaker 1>tell me that I'm wrong for this somehow. But uh
<v Speaker 1>know what I'm about to say. I mean the legend
<v Speaker 1>of Zelder franchise period, dot point, full stop, everything Zelda
<v Speaker 1>ever is worth three point four billion dollars, just shy
<v Speaker 1>of what Pokemon goal was sold for.
<v Speaker 2>That is.
<v Speaker 1>That's how big Pokemon is Pokemon. I think about how
<v Speaker 1>Zelda looks, by the way, how many people made Zelda
<v Speaker 1>three hundred and fifty?
<v Speaker 2>Oh wow, yeah, you could do with a couple more employees.
<v Speaker 1>Imagine if Game Freak had three hundred and fifty employees
<v Speaker 1>like Zelda did, and we could actually get a Pokemon
<v Speaker 1>game that looked like.
<v Speaker 2>Zelder did Zelda. Did you borrow them for a week.
<v Speaker 1>Here's the issue. And I've said this one thousand and
<v Speaker 1>I'm spoiling my own video. Now. You are understaffed. Game
<v Speaker 1>Freak not underfunded. Zelder has three hundred and fifty employees
<v Speaker 1>on their new games, and they spend five years making it,
<v Speaker 1>whereas game Freak has two hundred employees and they try
<v Speaker 1>and rush out a game every year. Z and A.
<v Speaker 1>I think they've been working on it for longer. I
<v Speaker 1>think for at least a couple of years. They've pushed
<v Speaker 1>it back. I also, but like, still, that's crunch, that's insane.
<v Speaker 2>There's another disappointment there where it's like, if you know
<v Speaker 2>that you're going to be putting a game out every year,
<v Speaker 2>you need more people to help you do that, because
<v Speaker 2>if it's rushed every time, then that clearly means that
<v Speaker 2>you didn't have enough help.
<v Speaker 1>I know they don't have enough help and they don't
<v Speaker 1>ask for help. And unfortunately I hate to say it,
<v Speaker 1>but I love to say it. They don't know how
<v Speaker 1>to develop big three D worlds and three D games
<v Speaker 1>for these new hardwares. They have not adjusted to the
<v Speaker 1>switch to these these more home consoles. They've been making
<v Speaker 1>handheld games until like two eighteen. They only just started
<v Speaker 1>making console games, and they don't know how to do it.
<v Speaker 2>I just I feel like there has to come a
<v Speaker 2>point where the bottom line is not necessarily how much
<v Speaker 2>money can we keep?
<v Speaker 1>And it's oh, god, you know we're on such a tangent,
<v Speaker 1>but I agree with you one hundred percent. My thing
<v Speaker 1>is too, is that people say, yeah, but people still
<v Speaker 1>buy the games. This is all in my video. I'm
<v Speaker 1>ruining my video and my whole thought process, But yes,
<v Speaker 1>people still buy the games. The last game sold twenty
<v Speaker 1>two million. Yeah, despite how bad they were. Zelda sold
<v Speaker 1>thirty million. Tais of the Kingdom sold twenty two million
<v Speaker 1>or twenty five million or something like that. And we
<v Speaker 1>know right now that franchise is only worth three billion dollars?
<v Speaker 1>So why is it? Yes, people still buy Pokemon games,
<v Speaker 1>but why is it Pokemon, the world's largest franchise only
<v Speaker 1>manage and I say only, but get my point. Home
<v Speaker 1>Based only managed to sell twenty million. Why are those
<v Speaker 1>games not selling fifty million? What? Animal Crossing sold fifty million?
<v Speaker 1>Mario coott Deluxe sold sixty million. Why is Pokemon, a
<v Speaker 1>franchise that dwarfs Animal Crossing not doing insane numbers? Because
<v Speaker 1>even though they sell, and even though the hardcore fans
<v Speaker 1>will buy those games no matter what, there are way
<v Speaker 1>more people, or at least they even if you want
<v Speaker 1>to say fifty percent amount of people that look at
<v Speaker 1>the games and go, I do I'm too old for these.
<v Speaker 1>They They're too dated. Graphically, they look terrible, frame rate wise.
<v Speaker 1>I can't stomach it. There are people that will put
<v Speaker 1>up with it, sure, but twenty two million is low.
<v Speaker 1>I honestly feel like if they had a three hundred
<v Speaker 1>and three to fifty man team. They spent two or
<v Speaker 1>three years making a game, and they actually made it
<v Speaker 1>to the standard of any other Nintendo IP. You would
<v Speaker 1>be looking at a fifty million selling game off the
<v Speaker 1>back of just its own franchise.
<v Speaker 2>I think also the games that are put out once
<v Speaker 2>a year are valued a lot less by consumers because
<v Speaker 2>it's like, I don't really this one doesn't look that great.
<v Speaker 2>I'll just wait for the next one that's coming out
<v Speaker 2>next year, you know. But if you had to wait
<v Speaker 2>for it, I feel like there would be more anticipation
<v Speaker 2>for these Pokemon games.
<v Speaker 1>People bought Breath of the Wild and Says of the
<v Speaker 1>Kingdom despite those Zelda games so better than any other
<v Speaker 1>Zelda game by a Crapton, and it was because of
<v Speaker 1>word of mouth. It's because the games were incredible. Anytime
<v Speaker 1>you saw a gameplay of it or footage of it,
<v Speaker 1>or you heard someone talking about it, they were saying,
<v Speaker 1>it's the best game ever, and everyone wanted to buy in.
<v Speaker 1>Why can't we have that for a company that has
<v Speaker 1>endless resources, endless talent, polls to pull from. I don't
<v Speaker 1>It doesn't make any sense to me, and people will
<v Speaker 1>defend it to holy hell, saying well, if the games
<v Speaker 1>are fun, it doesn't matter. And I agree the games
<v Speaker 1>are fun. But they've been fun. They've been fun for forever.
<v Speaker 1>It's the same formula. It's always game though.
<v Speaker 2>It's the concept of Pokemon that you find fun.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, it's the concept that's fun. But why can't we
<v Speaker 1>have whole game? It's like, why can't we have both?
<v Speaker 1>Asking it to look like you know, Last of Us
<v Speaker 1>Part two Remastered seventeen, look like Naughty Dog Producers doesn't
<v Speaker 1>need to look like any of that. I'm not asking
<v Speaker 1>for it to look like any of that. I'm asking
<v Speaker 1>for it to.
<v Speaker 2>The standard of your run of the mill Nintendo game.
<v Speaker 1>Right now, you're so pregnant and you're so wise. Sorry,
<v Speaker 1>this is such.
<v Speaker 2>A I've run out of patients, I think. Is my problem?
<v Speaker 2>The baby ate all my patients? Baby eight your versions?
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, yeah, all right, sorry about all of that. Not really,
<v Speaker 1>but yeah, I am anyway, I'm not even gonna look
<v Speaker 1>at the comments right now. I'm terrified. Scopely, it's the
<v Speaker 1>studio behind a number of major mobile games. We'll look
<v Speaker 1>in a second. I don't want to lose my train
<v Speaker 1>of thought. In addition to the game Scopey World require
<v Speaker 1>Niantics companion apps Campfire and Wayfair.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>I think those I could be wrong. I think those
<v Speaker 1>are the base apps that the Pokemon Go is set on,
<v Speaker 1>like the whole, like a da data tracking, while building,
<v Speaker 1>geo locating of it all.
<v Speaker 2>Wasn't it originally the app that they bought to do
<v Speaker 2>Pokemon Wasn't it for hiking? I swa it was hiking?
<v Speaker 1>It was for something like that. It was just for
<v Speaker 1>like it was an indexing app. It was for explorers.
<v Speaker 2>Yes.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, the company say that the game, the Niantics Gaming
<v Speaker 1>Division has more than thirty million monthly active players.
<v Speaker 2>See again, I was baffled by that when I heard
<v Speaker 2>that number.
<v Speaker 1>You know, that's that's across all that games. You know
<v Speaker 1>most of that's from Actually I wouldn't even mind finding
<v Speaker 1>out how much of that is from Pokemon Go. How
<v Speaker 1>many monthly monthly Pokemon Go users are there?
<v Speaker 2>Uh? One hundred and forty seven million?
<v Speaker 1>The hell?
<v Speaker 2>Okay, these numbers are.
<v Speaker 1>Very at Google's AI said.
<v Speaker 2>Because down there it says one forty.
<v Speaker 1>Seven This game had over one hundred and forty seven
<v Speaker 1>million monthly users across May twenty eighteen, or over a
<v Speaker 1>billion global downloads by early twenty nineteen and gross more
<v Speaker 1>than sixteen billion in round number, So I mean. And
<v Speaker 1>then Google's AI said at the end of twenty twenty
<v Speaker 1>four they still had over ninety million monthly players. So
<v Speaker 1>I don't know what to believe here. Also, I'll show
<v Speaker 1>you all.
<v Speaker 2>The number that I saw in a video was eighty million.
<v Speaker 1>Well, either way, numbers from even if even if the
<v Speaker 1>lowest is thirty and previous highs were one hundred and fifty.
<v Speaker 1>This just goes into my point more with how many
<v Speaker 1>active Pokemon fans are in a game like this, like
<v Speaker 1>in the in the tens of millions for a game
<v Speaker 1>like this. Now, I know everyone has a phone, which
<v Speaker 1>makes it easier. Everybody can whip out an app at
<v Speaker 1>any time. Everybody gets bored these millions of people, and
<v Speaker 1>Pokemon Scarvin Violet only sold twenty two million, Like, I
<v Speaker 1>really feel like we can boost those numbers. You know,
<v Speaker 1>we can boost those numbers? All right? Where were we here?
<v Speaker 1>I think I was over here. Uh, there's no doubt
<v Speaker 1>Pokemon Go is the star attraction of the deal. The
<v Speaker 1>game has more than twenty million million weekly active players
<v Speaker 1>twenty million weekly weekly.
<v Speaker 2>She's a different.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, the antic has expanded the game into live events.
<v Speaker 1>That would I do actually love the live events. Never
<v Speaker 1>been to one, but I love the idea.
<v Speaker 2>No, I think we we were accidentally at one one time.
<v Speaker 2>The first time we went to Tokyo, there was a
<v Speaker 2>mewtwo thingy and there was like.
<v Speaker 1>So that hundreds was just we went in twenty eighteen,
<v Speaker 1>Kim and the game was still like hot.
<v Speaker 2>Do you remember that guy on the bike?
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I know, this guy had like ten screens on
<v Speaker 1>his bike.
<v Speaker 2>Crazy.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, the game was just still hot and we were
<v Speaker 1>in Tokyo and there was a mewtwo drop happening at
<v Speaker 1>the time, yes, and people were going crazy on the streets. Now,
<v Speaker 1>the live events are the ones you buy tickets for
<v Speaker 1>that they have in like New York City and stuff,
<v Speaker 1>and you go to you go to the park and
<v Speaker 1>you you will meet up and it's like a paid
<v Speaker 1>like fifteen dollars.
<v Speaker 2>I wondered what you got when you did stuff like that,
<v Speaker 2>because I don't know what I mean.
<v Speaker 1>There's like old shinies and like exclusive drops and you
<v Speaker 1>get a bunch of like free and stuff free you
<v Speaker 1>paid for it. Yeah, but you know what I mean,
<v Speaker 1>it's a whole thing. Okay, here's a segment of Niantic
<v Speaker 1>saying that they, uh, let me. I'm trying to skim
<v Speaker 1>it because I've been talking about it for so long,
<v Speaker 1>but it's an incredible joy to serve hundreds of millions
<v Speaker 1>of trainers in our real world community for the last
<v Speaker 1>ten years. I also wonder if they got sick people complaining,
<v Speaker 1>because people would complain every time they did anything. There
<v Speaker 1>were so many complaints about the game, which a lot
<v Speaker 1>of them were fair. I remember when when COVID was happening,
<v Speaker 1>they introduced some really cool concepts, the remote raids and
<v Speaker 1>a lot of remote things, and then kind of before
<v Speaker 1>COVID was fully dealt with, I remember they reversed a
<v Speaker 1>lot of it. Yeah, and it was like a lot
<v Speaker 1>of what they It was almost better the way they
<v Speaker 1>had it during COVID because you could actually play. You
<v Speaker 1>could still get out and be active, but it made
<v Speaker 1>it a little easier to play.
<v Speaker 2>I remember that one pass the day, and I really
<v Speaker 2>don't feel like that's that much to ask for.
<v Speaker 1>I think you still get I think they left some
<v Speaker 1>I don't remember. When we're not active enough anymore.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know if they still do their remote raid passes.
<v Speaker 2>I saw people complaining that they don't, so they must not.
<v Speaker 2>I don't.
<v Speaker 1>We still open it every now and then, mostly if
<v Speaker 1>we're out at lunch or dinner.
<v Speaker 2>If we're waiting on food.
<v Speaker 1>We're waiting on food. Yeah, we'll open mostly to see
<v Speaker 1>if there's like a stop near us or a gym,
<v Speaker 1>if they've.
<v Speaker 2>Added any new Pokemon or whatever.
<v Speaker 1>But that's really I mean, we've been through winter the
<v Speaker 1>last six months, but that's really all we play. We
<v Speaker 1>haven't gone for a walk with it in a long time.
<v Speaker 2>I'm done giving them people money.
<v Speaker 1>For me, it's kind of boring. I'm going to be honest.
<v Speaker 1>It's been ten years. It's just kind of boring now.
<v Speaker 1>You know.
<v Speaker 2>It also drains the crap out of your phone battery.
<v Speaker 2>It can, it does for me.
<v Speaker 1>A few games in the world have delivered the scale
<v Speaker 1>and longevity of Pokemon Go, which is reach over one
<v Speaker 1>hundred million players just last year. It's crazy. In connection
<v Speaker 1>with the deal, what remains of Niantic will be spun
<v Speaker 1>off into Niantic Spot.
<v Speaker 2>Oh.
<v Speaker 1>I probably should mention this too. I haven't read it
<v Speaker 1>in here yet and chat's probably been blasting it. I
<v Speaker 1>haven't seen, but I believe the team at Niantic is
<v Speaker 1>staying on. Okay, I believe that was something I read
<v Speaker 1>and that I forgot, so that the job. Yeah, I believe?
<v Speaker 1>Is that right?
<v Speaker 2>Chat?
<v Speaker 1>Yeah? I think Let me cut away.
<v Speaker 2>It says they're forming a new side company.
<v Speaker 1>In connection with the deal. What remains Niantic will be
<v Speaker 1>spun off into Niantic Spartial, Inc. A new geospatial AI
<v Speaker 1>AI company to be led by founder John hank uh
<v Speaker 1>will continue to own the game's ingress. Niantic Spatial will
<v Speaker 1>continue to own the games Ingress Prime and Perry Dot. Okay,
<v Speaker 1>so Niantic the company has relinquished the rights to POKEMONO
<v Speaker 1>and this new Niantic Spartial that they formed will not
<v Speaker 1>own it. But I do believe I heard somewhere that
<v Speaker 1>the original development team is staying on. Ah.
<v Speaker 2>I don't see it listed there, but.
<v Speaker 1>Uh, hold on, let me check chat and see if
<v Speaker 1>I'm right about that. I don't see it in this article,
<v Speaker 1>but I might have missed it. Chat, Am I right
<v Speaker 1>about that? Do you guys know?
<v Speaker 2>Is?
<v Speaker 1>Uh? Is Niantic the development team working on the game
<v Speaker 1>they stayed Have they stayed on with the new ownership
<v Speaker 1>or have they moved off as well? What about the
<v Speaker 1>Pokemon cons That's that's a whole different thing. Yeah, I'm
<v Speaker 1>gonna wait for chat to see if they can hit
<v Speaker 1>me with that. I'm not sure though. The team is
<v Speaker 1>staying with Pokemon goal. Yeah, okay, so it's the same
<v Speaker 1>team now, it's good. That is good. But when it
<v Speaker 1>comes to the new ownership and management, they can still
<v Speaker 1>they are the ones. The new management. Other ones are
<v Speaker 1>going to be like, hey, we want to have micro
<v Speaker 1>transactions here, or hey can you do this? Can you
<v Speaker 1>do that? The team will still be doing the stuff,
<v Speaker 1>but they might not. I don't think they have the say,
<v Speaker 1>I mean as.
<v Speaker 2>The knowing that. So I think it's pretty cool that
<v Speaker 2>they still work.
<v Speaker 1>Well, well, yeah, it's cool they still have their job, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>one hundred percent. I mean I hope, I hope they
<v Speaker 1>got a bonus or compensation out of this deal, right,
<v Speaker 1>because yeah, I don't know how all that.
<v Speaker 2>Company just made a ton of money, so you would
<v Speaker 2>hope that some of that would trickle down to who
<v Speaker 2>actually developed it. But we'll see.
<v Speaker 1>So yeah, I'm not totally sure how all that works
<v Speaker 1>and what the situation is there, But I don't think
<v Speaker 1>the team calls the shots. So while we'll still have
<v Speaker 1>the same people coding it, I think it's still you
<v Speaker 1>still want to keep an eye on the management there
<v Speaker 1>and see what happens with any kind of new micro transaction.
<v Speaker 2>I feel like you're going to see some new micro
<v Speaker 2>transactions because that just seems to be what most mobile
<v Speaker 2>games do.
<v Speaker 1>I mean not to draw a parallel to something uncomfortable
<v Speaker 1>to talk about right now, but it's the same as
<v Speaker 1>you know, when Musk took over Twitter and well, let's
<v Speaker 1>just keeping it, just keeping at face value here and
<v Speaker 1>focusing on the money. He spent like sixty billion dollars
<v Speaker 1>to buy it or something, and then immediately realized, I've
<v Speaker 1>got to make that money back. And like Twitter was
<v Speaker 1>making money at the time, but when you buy in
<v Speaker 1>and you invest all that money, you want to make
<v Speaker 1>it back quicker. You don't want to wait like ten
<v Speaker 1>years to get your projected sixty billion back. You want
<v Speaker 1>to get it back year one.
<v Speaker 2>I feel like they're going to have to start implementing some.
<v Speaker 1>Me He implemented a ton of things like paid verification,
<v Speaker 1>all of that stuff that he did that arguably ruined
<v Speaker 1>the website. That was on the back of trying to
<v Speaker 1>make that money back, so we and we could see
<v Speaker 1>the Pokemon. My point is we could see this company
<v Speaker 1>do the same thing, though.
<v Speaker 2>It doesn't necessarily. It sucks that there's going to be
<v Speaker 2>micro transactions, but there's always micro transactions with these mobile games.
<v Speaker 2>It would be cool if the micro transactions were worth
<v Speaker 2>the money. That would be nice to see. If you
<v Speaker 2>get like instead of the little eggies, you get a
<v Speaker 2>loop box or something that.
<v Speaker 1>I don't have to don't encourage them to add loop
<v Speaker 1>boxes because it's a slippery, slow, stipid little.
<v Speaker 2>Adventure boxes are like fifteen dollars anyway, No, he gets
<v Speaker 2>like two incubators and some pineapples. At least give me
<v Speaker 2>like this box might have a shiny Pokemon in it, you.
<v Speaker 1>Know, yeah, it'll be It'll be interesting to see what
<v Speaker 1>they do with it.
<v Speaker 2>A shiny egg would be a shiny egg.
<v Speaker 1>That would be you have to walk like a ton
<v Speaker 1>at hatch it. But a guaranteed shiny will upset the
<v Speaker 1>fan base. I'll tell you that now. The fan base
<v Speaker 1>hates when you make shiny hunting a guarantee or an
<v Speaker 1>easy whereas Ham today is he okay, yeah, I'm I
<v Speaker 1>think I'm not I think I might be getting sick,
<v Speaker 1>so I was worried about him getting sick again. Pokemon.
<v Speaker 1>I'm gonna be some comments here. Someone said, go to
<v Speaker 1>the DMV towards closing time. They're behind in the episode. Now,
<v Speaker 1>I know they will be I know they'll have to
<v Speaker 1>see me, But that's the worst time to go because
<v Speaker 1>you're going to be in the back of the queue.
<v Speaker 2>You're going to be there with all the people that
<v Speaker 2>just got off work.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah. Game freaking Pokemon. I totally agree. Could make a
<v Speaker 1>game that looks great if they wanted to. So that
<v Speaker 1>says they don't care. Yeah, they don't. I don't know
<v Speaker 1>what the deal. I don't know what the deal is.
<v Speaker 1>I couldn't know what I couldn't figure it out in
<v Speaker 1>my video. I tried doing a bunch of research, and
<v Speaker 1>I don't know why they don't care about the way
<v Speaker 1>the game.
<v Speaker 2>Looks because people are still going to buy it anyway.
<v Speaker 1>But as I said, and as I point out in
<v Speaker 1>my video, yes, people will still buy it, but they
<v Speaker 1>would buy double And you think about how much money
<v Speaker 1>the anime and merchant all of that makes on the
<v Speaker 1>back of a game that sells twenty million, imagine how
<v Speaker 1>much all that could make on the back of a
<v Speaker 1>game that sells fifty But.
<v Speaker 2>You also have to look at their bottom line, which
<v Speaker 2>seems to be all they're concerned was, to be honest,
<v Speaker 2>is they've made so much money with like very decent
<v Speaker 2>profit margins for themselves. I think making a better game
<v Speaker 2>and having more people develop it is taking a risk
<v Speaker 2>to some extent because you're having to spend more of
<v Speaker 2>the money that you wanted to keep.
<v Speaker 1>So I do wonder if that's what they're thinking, And
<v Speaker 1>clearly something is happening, so you're probably right. But at
<v Speaker 1>the same time, even one hundred people to hire one
<v Speaker 1>hundred extra people for a company like that is a
<v Speaker 1>spit in the ocean. Even if they manage to push
<v Speaker 1>out like a million extra copies other than twenty two million,
<v Speaker 1>they make twenty three million, they make the money back.
<v Speaker 2>On that investment money back.
<v Speaker 1>And they have to know that. They have to know that.
<v Speaker 1>I feel, especially with Nintendo owning a third of the
<v Speaker 1>company and having a third of the say in it,
<v Speaker 1>they can look at their own examples of Zelda and
<v Speaker 1>what happens when they invest extra time like a five
<v Speaker 1>years in development and an extra team. They know what
<v Speaker 1>game development looks like. Surely they're looking in at the
<v Speaker 1>company and going, hey, guys, we can give you fifty
<v Speaker 1>more people. We can give you the money for fifty
<v Speaker 1>more people. Like, what is happening here? I feel like
<v Speaker 1>the I feel like you're right, that does make sense
<v Speaker 1>for any other company, but just this one has never
<v Speaker 1>made sense to me.
<v Speaker 2>I think it makes sense. It's just disappointing.
<v Speaker 1>Because you know, those you hots and parties aren't cheap,
<v Speaker 1>said Ryan, Yeah, crazy, Sorry, what are you gonna say?
<v Speaker 2>Honestly, cannot remember. I think it's just, you know, it's
<v Speaker 2>disappointing as someone who enjoys the franchise and seeing all
<v Speaker 2>of the other stuff, get the money put into it,
<v Speaker 2>you know, yeah, and to just see it not go
<v Speaker 2>into the original reason why it exists.
<v Speaker 1>Well the other thing, I'm ruining my whole video. So
<v Speaker 1>I hope you guys still watch it. Think about literally
<v Speaker 1>any Pokemon merchandise or anime or spin off or anything.
<v Speaker 1>It's all the highest of quality, as it should be
<v Speaker 1>for the brand. The Pokemon cards, they're beautiful. There's so
<v Speaker 1>many of them. Some of them are so pretty and
<v Speaker 1>gorgeously drawn and illustrated that people put them in cases
<v Speaker 1>and protect them right and get them PSA graded, and
<v Speaker 1>they're worth a lot of money because the art gorgeous.
<v Speaker 1>You look at the animes, even like the spinoff animes
<v Speaker 1>like Pokemon Concierge, this gorgeous stop motion animation like Top
<v Speaker 1>of the Lines doesn't stop motion, and that's for a
<v Speaker 1>spinoff anime. And they invested that money and that time
<v Speaker 1>and that effort and that energy. The plushies are high quality.
<v Speaker 1>You can always tell when you get a knockoff. You've
<v Speaker 1>got toys, you've got everything, everything, everything is the top
<v Speaker 1>quality that you would expect from a ninety billion dollar brand.
<v Speaker 1>And you would expect no less from any of those franchises,
<v Speaker 1>and gamers and Pokemon fans and Pokemon fandom would expect
<v Speaker 1>no less from the Pokemon cards, would expect no less
<v Speaker 1>from the Pokemon nimes. But when it comes to the
<v Speaker 1>video games, the Pokemon fans and the people that stand
<v Speaker 1>true to them, they expect less and they're okay with it.
<v Speaker 1>And it makes no sense to me. It makes no
<v Speaker 1>sense to me why you can't be critical of it,
<v Speaker 1>why you can't point it out and why you can't
<v Speaker 1>why you can't expect more while still enjoying the games.
<v Speaker 1>I completed the Pokey decks in Pokemon Archias and Pokemon
<v Speaker 1>Scarlet and Violet was the one. I had fun doing it.
<v Speaker 1>But the whole time I was doing it, I there
<v Speaker 1>wasn't a moment that I was fully immersed in the
<v Speaker 1>game world, losing myself as a player and as a
<v Speaker 1>fan of the game and with nostalgia. There wasn't a
<v Speaker 1>single moment where I felt like I was in the
<v Speaker 1>game having fun, because every single moment I was like,
<v Speaker 1>there's a glitch, there's pop in, there's loyal resolution textures.
<v Speaker 1>This is ugly. That's ugly, this frame rate is tanking
<v Speaker 1>right now. There wasn't a moment I could fully immerse.
<v Speaker 2>It's just it's really difficult to look at, is what
<v Speaker 2>it boils down to. It's difficult to look at because
<v Speaker 2>you know that they could afford to do it better,
<v Speaker 2>and it's difficult to look at just because it's ugly.
<v Speaker 1>Someone in Chad just said, is wood going bolder? As
<v Speaker 1>I sat here with too much hair?
<v Speaker 2>Where would you be going bold?
<v Speaker 1>I don't know. I made a joke in a recent
<v Speaker 1>video about losing my hair, But I don't think I am.
<v Speaker 2>Actually, I think you're.
<v Speaker 1>Sometimes I wonder if my hairline is receding, but I
<v Speaker 1>think it's always looked like that.
<v Speaker 2>You've a scar there that has I've always seen that's true.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I think my hairline is always looked like that.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, and that's normal for most men. I feel like
<v Speaker 2>mine's similar.
<v Speaker 1>To be honest, I am. I am thirty. How old
<v Speaker 1>am I four? Five? This year my dad went bold,
<v Speaker 1>and his like twenties. My dad was a cubal by
<v Speaker 1>the time he hit thirty, and I always hip well.
<v Speaker 1>I always figured I'd lose my hair one day, and
<v Speaker 1>I've kind of always been okay with it because I
<v Speaker 1>always thought my dad looked fine bold.
<v Speaker 2>I think most people look better bald than hanging onto
<v Speaker 2>that toilet rug situation.
<v Speaker 1>No, I don't think I am, But honestly, if I did,
<v Speaker 1>I wouldn't be. I wouldn't I think you'd look fine.
<v Speaker 1>My hair is not like my entire personality. I just
<v Speaker 1>like my hair. I do often actually think of cutting
<v Speaker 1>it because I think all the time like I've gone
<v Speaker 1>through my entire twenties and thirties not knowing what I
<v Speaker 1>look like with short hair, and it would be nice
<v Speaker 1>if for a little bit I had that experience of
<v Speaker 1>having short hair.
<v Speaker 2>Well, you just recently got rid of the sideburn.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I did. Actually, yeah, that's true. It looks really
<v Speaker 1>maybe that's what they're talking about, I think. So I've
<v Speaker 1>always kept my sideburns down to here. Yeah, And I
<v Speaker 1>recently was looking at myself in the mirror and I
<v Speaker 1>was like, why am I doing that? Why am I
<v Speaker 1>keeping sideburns? Like is that like a nineties thing? So
<v Speaker 1>I just tried to shave them off. And I actually
<v Speaker 1>much prefer the way.
<v Speaker 2>It looks cleaner and it makes your head look smaller.
<v Speaker 1>So now my hair stops here. Apparently my head was
<v Speaker 1>huge before it. Call.
<v Speaker 2>No, it's just weird how it like slimmed down his head,
<v Speaker 2>you know what I mean?
<v Speaker 1>Yeah? Uh, ten dollars from Alexis. It's Fernando. Hey, Fernando,
<v Speaker 1>I miss you, buddy, your long haired brother from Houston, Texas.
<v Speaker 1>Congratulations on your channels and your new life you and
<v Speaker 1>Kim are bringing into the world. God bless your baby
<v Speaker 1>names Link or z Elder. Well it's a boy. But yeah,
<v Speaker 1>we didn't finish well, maybe we did finished that conversation,
<v Speaker 1>but is on the roster for baby too. If there's
<v Speaker 1>a baby.
<v Speaker 2>Too, there's a baby too.
<v Speaker 1>I gotta be honest, I don't think we're ever gonna
<v Speaker 1>want to go through this again.
<v Speaker 2>I well, here's the thing.
<v Speaker 1>Pregnancy is beautiful, but my god, it has looked so hard.
<v Speaker 2>It's difficult. But the thing is, it's different for every person,
<v Speaker 2>and it's different every time, so it's really a crapshoot.
<v Speaker 2>What you get can you get?
<v Speaker 1>By By the time the sun goes down, usually is
<v Speaker 1>in so much discomfort and pain and kicking her so
<v Speaker 1>hard that it's it's hard to like it's hard for
<v Speaker 1>you to do anything, and then hard for us to
<v Speaker 1>do anything as a couple. Like for the last few months,
<v Speaker 1>once sun down hits, you're pretty much in bed and
<v Speaker 1>it's like that.
<v Speaker 2>Pain is so bad, I literally can't even sit on that.
<v Speaker 1>I miss you because like I try and sit with
<v Speaker 1>you in bed as much as I can, but if
<v Speaker 1>I sit in bed, I fall asleep. Yeah, And like
<v Speaker 1>I can't be sleeping all the time, so well, I
<v Speaker 1>literally we've gone from hanging out most nights to not
<v Speaker 1>seeing each other until I come to bed.
<v Speaker 2>We usually have dinner, and then some time after that
<v Speaker 2>if we've watched an episode or something, then then I
<v Speaker 2>go to bed.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah yeah, yeah, And I don't know. I just just
<v Speaker 1>watching you in this much discomfort too, is really hot,
<v Speaker 1>and like not being able to do anything to help
<v Speaker 1>other than off it and make you like a hot tea.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, there's literally nothing you can do.
<v Speaker 1>It's just I just feel so bad for you.
<v Speaker 2>And you can't take pain medication either, and it's like
<v Speaker 2>a whole year of your life almost.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, we're gonna do that again in like what a
<v Speaker 1>year or two.
<v Speaker 2>This is the thing, Like I it puts so much
<v Speaker 2>into perspective for me. But like the older generations, like
<v Speaker 2>my grandparents were like one of fourteen, you know, and I'm.
<v Speaker 1>There, huh fuck, that's crazy.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah did they do that fourteen time?
<v Speaker 1>And I'm expecting this baby, by the way, to be
<v Speaker 1>a loving menace because of how much he is moving, kicking, rolling, hunting, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>pulling on August, I'm honestly expecting him to be running
<v Speaker 1>by the time he's three months old.
<v Speaker 2>He seems advanced and.
<v Speaker 1>To be a terrorizing toddler for the cats. I think
<v Speaker 1>we're gonna have our hands full with this guy, I
<v Speaker 1>just get there.
<v Speaker 2>I think he's gonna be fine. It's just uh yeah,
<v Speaker 2>he kicks all day.
<v Speaker 1>Just don't do a man bun. I hate to tell you, buddy,
<v Speaker 1>I'm any day ninety percent of the day because as
<v Speaker 1>much as I like having the long hair, especially like
<v Speaker 1>down for videos, it's impractical. It gets in the way,
<v Speaker 1>like it is always right in front of my face.
<v Speaker 1>I'll be trying to shoot b roll like for work,
<v Speaker 1>and like my hair's in the camera lens. If I
<v Speaker 1>try and eat with my hair down, I'll get hair
<v Speaker 1>in my mouth. I can't work out with it down
<v Speaker 1>because it'll get all sweaty and make me like overheated.
<v Speaker 1>So honestly, most of the date, ninety nine percent of
<v Speaker 1>the day my hair is up like this. I literally
<v Speaker 1>take it down to do the podcast and then I'll
<v Speaker 1>put it back up the second it's over. And this
<v Speaker 1>is me most of the time. I hate to tell you. Actually,
<v Speaker 1>for the first few months, it's going to be poop
<v Speaker 1>them ups. Get a diaper subscription service. Oh, I have
<v Speaker 1>heard actually those were good, the subscription service that. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>they I think that I could be wrong. I think
<v Speaker 1>there's even one that take away the dirty diapers and recycled. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I don't, we don't have to do that, but there's
<v Speaker 1>a there's a there's a service that will drop off
<v Speaker 1>diapers to your door weekly so you don't have to
<v Speaker 1>constantly be trying to run out and get.
<v Speaker 2>I guess I just always thought you would just like
<v Speaker 2>order those on Amazon on a monthly subscription for that.
<v Speaker 2>But I saw a video of a lady and I
<v Speaker 2>kind of want to do this too, just for fonzies.
<v Speaker 2>She showed like the month and how many diapers they used,
<v Speaker 2>not you did show they use ones, obviously gross, but
<v Speaker 2>like the number, and she was like, the first month,
<v Speaker 2>one hundred and forty one diapers, and it was like,
<v Speaker 2>that's crazy, that's that's an absurd amount of.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, we did not realize how many diapers you go
<v Speaker 1>through with a baby.
<v Speaker 2>That's something I've ever thought about because we never were
<v Speaker 2>like adamantly trying to get pregnant, So it's it's not
<v Speaker 2>like things that I've googled until now.
<v Speaker 1>We have. We have quite a few super chats here
<v Speaker 1>and I wanted to grab a couple, but this laptop
<v Speaker 1>has started taking a giant crap. Thankfully, I'm not streaming
<v Speaker 1>from this laptop. I'm streaming from that one. Yeah, but
<v Speaker 1>I can't get this one to move. I think it's
<v Speaker 1>time to throw this away.
<v Speaker 2>This is the one get a new one, and you
<v Speaker 2>just never do.
<v Speaker 1>I don't remember when I got this, but I think
<v Speaker 1>it was like when we first got together in the
<v Speaker 1>first house. I got this laptop and it is dying.
<v Speaker 2>We did because we went to microcenter to get it.
<v Speaker 1>It is dying like and well I think it was
<v Speaker 1>pre owned.
<v Speaker 2>As well, yeah, almost ten years old.
<v Speaker 1>Then I literally only use it for the podcast because
<v Speaker 1>I need two laptops and I only have one good one.
<v Speaker 1>I clicked like ten minutes ago, and it's still I
<v Speaker 1>can't even bring up my show notes and talk about
<v Speaker 1>anything else I had in my show notes.
<v Speaker 2>Can I just say how frustrating built in obsolescence in
<v Speaker 2>this day and ages?
<v Speaker 1>What does that mean?
<v Speaker 2>Things that are made to not be functional after a
<v Speaker 2>while because they want you to buy a new one.
<v Speaker 1>You know what's so funny, Kimberly, One of my show
<v Speaker 1>notes that I can't get to right now is a
<v Speaker 1>article about how super Nintendo's apparently are getting faster with age.
<v Speaker 2>That's so fun.
<v Speaker 1>That is such a perfect ductail into what you were saying.
<v Speaker 1>I don't think I can click on it. I just
<v Speaker 1>clicked on the on the tab. We'll see how long
<v Speaker 1>it takes for it.
<v Speaker 2>To actually load that tab, that's for sure.
<v Speaker 1>I can't let me bring it up on my phone
<v Speaker 1>and I'll just we might not be able to cut
<v Speaker 1>to any uh frozen yet it is completely it still
<v Speaker 1>hasn't loaded that tab.
<v Speaker 2>Well, the chat also is threatened it. See this is
<v Speaker 2>what I noticed. If you try to open something in
<v Speaker 2>a different technology format, it scares it.
<v Speaker 1>It still hasn't loaded the page though.
<v Speaker 2>It does that to me when I try to open
<v Speaker 2>SIMS on my old ass computer and I hit task
<v Speaker 2>manager immediately the game loads. Sorry, sorry it took so lot.
<v Speaker 1>His for me. It's if you control at delete all right, yeah, it.
<v Speaker 2>Pulls up task managers. You threaten it with ending process
<v Speaker 2>and they're like.
<v Speaker 1>No, It's like wait, no, I promise I can.
<v Speaker 2>Don't be good. I'm sorry.
<v Speaker 1>It's like loaded, but not really. I'm just gonna read
<v Speaker 1>it here. In a bizarre ton of events, it appears
<v Speaker 1>the oldest Supernintendo consoles are actually getting faster with age,
<v Speaker 1>rather than degragating completely or degrading completely. Sorry degregating, yes, sorry,
<v Speaker 1>I don't know where that came from. This was on
<v Speaker 1>Blue Sky actually from their own preliminary testing. This is
<v Speaker 1>from a Blue Sky user t as bot Uh. It
<v Speaker 1>seems as if the Nest was actually getting faster with age,
<v Speaker 1>as they explained, the main two to one m h
<v Speaker 1>z zpu clock uses a quartz crystal. It is fine.
<v Speaker 1>The twenty four point five seven six MHz APU clock
<v Speaker 1>uses a ceramic resonator. It is not. It seems to
<v Speaker 1>run faster years later. It also seems to speed up
<v Speaker 1>when warm. We should find out how real hot plate is.
<v Speaker 1>I don't really understand any of this. I guess the
<v Speaker 1>point is with age and as these consoles get warmer,
<v Speaker 1>maybe the Supernintendo is actually able to run things a
<v Speaker 1>little faster. I'm not sure how you determine any of that,
<v Speaker 1>and I can't pull any a bit up to find them.
<v Speaker 2>It's like, I wonder if there's a reason some.
<v Speaker 1>People are crazy with just randomly testing like old things
<v Speaker 1>like this. Yeah, but I love it.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, it's interesting information to have. I just don't know
<v Speaker 2>how they come about finding it.
<v Speaker 1>No, and also I don't know if there's any like
<v Speaker 1>video proof or this guy's just saying, hey, I tested it,
<v Speaker 1>I promise Superintendo apart and was like, whoo, anyway, there's that.
<v Speaker 1>I just thought it was.
<v Speaker 2>Interesting, well not similar, but it's the it's the opposite,
<v Speaker 2>and it's disappointment. Really. Uh, there's a certain type of
<v Speaker 2>DVD that no longer works because of this degradation no
<v Speaker 2>degenerationation know.
<v Speaker 1>But oh Ki Kim got me this today. I've been
<v Speaker 1>looking for this DVD for years. It's so hard to find. Yeah, sorry,
<v Speaker 1>you were saying, no, that was it?
<v Speaker 2>What I swear They said it was Lionsgate DVDs and
<v Speaker 2>there was like a specific reason why, but they didn't
<v Speaker 2>work it.
<v Speaker 1>Kimberly, let me tell you about this. I don't know
<v Speaker 1>if it's true. People have always said this, but disc rot.
<v Speaker 2>That's what it is. Yeah, they're saying disc rot. Ye.
<v Speaker 1>So apparently old discs, old DVDs at some point will
<v Speaker 1>just degrade away and stop working. I think some people
<v Speaker 1>have estimates on time. I don't think it's really started
<v Speaker 1>happening yet. It has, it has.
<v Speaker 2>Those are That's why I found out about it because
<v Speaker 2>a bunch of people were talking about it. Okay, I
<v Speaker 2>have to find out like this. You could probably just google.
<v Speaker 1>It, but I wish I could try on my phone.
<v Speaker 2>But yeah, just type in lions Gate this disc and
<v Speaker 2>see what comes up. I don't remember the reason, but
<v Speaker 2>I do think it's kind of crappy that we're going
<v Speaker 2>to be losing physical media forever now, and like the
<v Speaker 2>stupid streaming apps don't have everything. It's just there's so
<v Speaker 2>much stuff that's going to be long.
<v Speaker 1>No, it's funny. This is actually a Reddit thread from
<v Speaker 1>six years ago.
<v Speaker 2>Oh, I heard about it yesterday.
<v Speaker 1>Everything I just pulled up was from six years ago.
<v Speaker 1>I read something recently that six years ago. This was
<v Speaker 1>that older Lionsgate Blu Ray title stopped Blu Ray. There's
<v Speaker 1>a new being Readable or something along those lions I
<v Speaker 1>just popped in the Devil's Reject, which I bought a
<v Speaker 1>couple of years ago and never watched, de sided checking it,
<v Speaker 1>and sure enough it comes up with unrecognized disc. So
<v Speaker 1>was Lionsgate just using really cheap discs?
<v Speaker 2>I think that, yeah, probably, But.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, Kim, all of these games that I have, one day,
<v Speaker 1>I don't know how long, but one day they will
<v Speaker 1>all stop working. Supposedly, they say that about cartridges too,
<v Speaker 1>that cartridges are supposed to grade away, and those are
<v Speaker 1>all still currently working at least for the most part.
<v Speaker 2>I think it depends on the quality of the product. Also,
<v Speaker 2>because you look at old games like old Sega games
<v Speaker 2>and old Nintendo games, they all still work. I think
<v Speaker 2>the quality of the product was better before.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I mean yeah, the different DVD qualities will definitely
<v Speaker 1>make an effect. But I hate to be the one
<v Speaker 1>to tell you guys this if you don't know, because
<v Speaker 1>I try not to think about it. But this is
<v Speaker 1>another one of those we have the conversation a lot
<v Speaker 1>of physical first digital. This is another one of those
<v Speaker 1>ticks in the favor of digital that digital buyers will
<v Speaker 1>say that, hey, physical is great, you have the game.
<v Speaker 1>One day you won't though I don't know how long
<v Speaker 1>that will be, but eventually those games just won't work anymore.
<v Speaker 2>It's just unfortunate, honestly.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, yeah, I think a lot of it, though
<v Speaker 1>I think we will outlive a lot of it. I
<v Speaker 1>wouldn't be surprised if a lot of my games that
<v Speaker 1>I have now will still work when I'm seventy or eighty,
<v Speaker 1>you know, Yeah, Like I'll pass them on and maybe
<v Speaker 1>they'll stop working in in this guy's lifetime, you know,
<v Speaker 1>I we'll see.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, it's just yeah, the whole obsolescence thing is incredibly unfortunate.
<v Speaker 2>I think originally the tangent was because of your laptop.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah it was. I need a new one for sure.
<v Speaker 1>I've been wanting to get a Mac anyway.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, the MacBooks are nice. You go on from Costco.
<v Speaker 1>So we're past an hour, so we can I heard
<v Speaker 1>what you said. Yeah, we can go Costco. We get
<v Speaker 1>a hot dog while with there.
<v Speaker 2>Oh no, I don't mean you want to go today?
<v Speaker 1>No, no, no, okay, we should probably go before the
<v Speaker 1>next episode though, because this one does seem to have died.
<v Speaker 1>I use hands when Ham comes, but he's not here.
<v Speaker 1>I don't have one. Yes, the only other things there
<v Speaker 1>was a few things I had, but we can save.
<v Speaker 1>I can save it for the bonus. You don't even
<v Speaker 1>have to do the bum The other thing I did
<v Speaker 1>want to touch on selling my Tesla because I mentioned
<v Speaker 1>it at the start and it's really quick. I was
<v Speaker 1>also going to give my thoughts on Assassin's Creed, Monster Hunter,
<v Speaker 1>frag Punk, and then even a little bit on Marble Rivals.
<v Speaker 1>Just some games I've been playing recently, but if you're
<v Speaker 1>not interested in that, I could also just save that
<v Speaker 1>for the bonus.
<v Speaker 2>I'm still here so we can do the bonus.
<v Speaker 1>I know, but making sure I yeah quickly. I just
<v Speaker 1>want to say, and I don't want to make a
<v Speaker 1>big deal about it, even though part of me does
<v Speaker 1>want to make a big deal about it. I've been
<v Speaker 1>trying to decide if I should tweet it or not.
<v Speaker 1>But I mentioned on the bonus episode last week I
<v Speaker 1>was finally getting rid of the Tesla, and I think
<v Speaker 1>everybody should, you know, if you can give give it
<v Speaker 1>a shot. But I got mine a few years ago,
<v Speaker 1>and I mostly got it because well, it was post X,
<v Speaker 1>it was back when Twitter was a thing. And I
<v Speaker 1>mostly got it because I was having really bad driving
<v Speaker 1>anxiety and I thought the car driving itself would be
<v Speaker 1>for me. And I gotta be honest, I loved that
<v Speaker 1>car for the first year or two. I'm not really
<v Speaker 1>a car guy, so I didn't really know while I
<v Speaker 1>was driving it that it drove like, for lack of
<v Speaker 1>a better word, shite, like it was really bad to drive.
<v Speaker 1>I remember anytime someone got in the car and I
<v Speaker 1>had to make a hard turn, and it like it
<v Speaker 1>would crunch on a hard lock turn and they would
<v Speaker 1>be like, why is it crunching? And I'm like, they
<v Speaker 1>do that. I don't know that they have terrible turning.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know what to tell you. The handling is awful.
<v Speaker 1>But then everything going down recently online, you know, I
<v Speaker 1>was like already thinking, for a minute, I should probably
<v Speaker 1>get out of this thing. I don't want to be associated.
<v Speaker 1>I don't want the the swast car you know that name.
<v Speaker 1>That was my main thing. That was my breaking point.
<v Speaker 2>I also just feel like it's a very similar to
<v Speaker 2>the Pokemon situation. You have all this money and yet
<v Speaker 2>the product is cheap.
<v Speaker 1>Yes, that is just so much for the car was
<v Speaker 1>so cheap. The interior was so cheap. I had to
<v Speaker 1>replace the steering wheel because it peeled, it came upon.
<v Speaker 2>I'll do that to the point where they'd give you
<v Speaker 2>a warranty on.
<v Speaker 1>The wheel, which I did know. I bought a new
<v Speaker 1>one from a third party aftermarket.
<v Speaker 2>Didn't tell you that it cost me.
<v Speaker 1>So much money. And then I found out the wheel
<v Speaker 1>is always under warranty because Tesla knows that it sucks.
<v Speaker 2>How about you just make one that doesn't Peel.
<v Speaker 1>Anyway, the car sucked and I was already hitting my
<v Speaker 1>breaking point. Then the thing happened, and then that was
<v Speaker 1>my breaking point. So I was looking into getting rid
<v Speaker 1>of it, and I actually found a dealership that was
<v Speaker 1>willing to trade it straight up for a car of
<v Speaker 1>equal value. It was a really weird transaction because we
<v Speaker 1>met this guy somewhat random because he was like five
<v Speaker 1>hours away, so we met in the middle and uh,
<v Speaker 1>we just got in each other's cars, swapped titles, and
<v Speaker 1>went our separate ways.
<v Speaker 2>It was bizarre watching that colleague a giant Pokemon.
<v Speaker 1>But I went to test drive this car that I
<v Speaker 1>ended up getting, and while I was driving it, I
<v Speaker 1>was like, this car feels awesome to drive, Like it's
<v Speaker 1>so nice to drive.
<v Speaker 2>And it was still a battery car.
<v Speaker 1>And the the it keeps blurring and un sorry about that,
<v Speaker 1>and I think I'm looking here and not here. I
<v Speaker 1>keep looking at myself in this monitor. The guy at
<v Speaker 1>the dealership was like, yeah, that's because Tesla is a
<v Speaker 1>tech company, not a car company like they made It's
<v Speaker 1>a tech company making a car. They don't know how
<v Speaker 1>to make a car, Like they know how to make tech,
<v Speaker 1>but not a car. And he was like, we're a
<v Speaker 1>car company and we've made a car, and it was
<v Speaker 1>it was at that moment that it just went off
<v Speaker 1>in my brain. And man, I've been I've been driving
<v Speaker 1>my new car now for.
<v Speaker 2>A week or two.
<v Speaker 1>I drive it every day, and.
<v Speaker 2>Because it's nice to drive it, like it's it's my.
<v Speaker 1>First nice car. And I've never been a car guy,
<v Speaker 1>and I've never thought about like handling or the way
<v Speaker 1>a car drives or the way a car feels, and
<v Speaker 1>it's just so much fun and it's like, oh, this
<v Speaker 1>is this is what a car should feel like. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>because before then I always had, like, you know, back
<v Speaker 1>in Australia, I had like old like nineteen eighty six Silika,
<v Speaker 1>which I kind of I kind of want to get
<v Speaker 1>another one of those.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>The only reason as well, when I'm saying it, is
<v Speaker 1>because I put the Tesla into a few videos somewhat recently.
<v Speaker 1>I started hiding it after a while because I didn't
<v Speaker 1>want to be associated, but yeah, I made it public
<v Speaker 1>that I had one, and we talked about it on
<v Speaker 1>the podcast a lot. So in fact, it was a
<v Speaker 1>whole arc on the podcast of me trying to get one.
<v Speaker 1>If you remember when the podcast started, I was talking
<v Speaker 1>to Bob about wanting to get one, and then I
<v Speaker 1>finally got one, So yeah, I just want to I
<v Speaker 1>just wanted to say got rid of it, but thinking
<v Speaker 1>about tweeting it, but I don't even like tweeting anymore,
<v Speaker 1>so I think that's.
<v Speaker 2>The worst place to tell people you are your tesla.
<v Speaker 1>Be honest, it was. It was perfect timing too, because
<v Speaker 1>I got rid of it, and then it was like
<v Speaker 1>a week later something happened, and then like a couple
<v Speaker 1>of days ago, they were using the White House as
<v Speaker 1>an opportunity to sell the car, which or endorse the car,
<v Speaker 1>which is quite literally illegal. Yeah, it was just I'm
<v Speaker 1>so happy.
<v Speaker 2>It wasn't enjoyable for you anymore.
<v Speaker 1>To have it. No getting it was getting a stigma
<v Speaker 1>around it, and the car sucked. I lost from the
<v Speaker 1>I lost like five tires in it. It was awful
<v Speaker 1>to drive. It's full of so much tech, like being
<v Speaker 1>able to make the seats fought.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I would give up the fart seats and it's
<v Speaker 2>like a turn that doesn't sound like I'm on a bicycle.
<v Speaker 1>Why do I Why do I have the ability to
<v Speaker 1>make my seats fought? Why do I care about.
<v Speaker 2>It irritates me that that's what they spend money on
<v Speaker 2>instead of a wheel that doesn't peel off.
<v Speaker 1>It is actually quite bizarre, isn't it. It's quite insane. Okay,
<v Speaker 1>that's that, and then, uh, I guess I'll save everything else.
<v Speaker 1>We have some stuff about Xbox. There's a new Pokemon
<v Speaker 1>Clone game. And then I want to give my thoughts
<v Speaker 1>on Assassin's Creed, Monster Hunt, a Fragpunk Mave Arrivals, these
<v Speaker 1>few games I've been playing lately. I actually I think
<v Speaker 1>Assassin's Creed might be in embargo. Still, I'm not sure
<v Speaker 1>they gave me the game at No, it's not, Oh
<v Speaker 1>not for another week.
<v Speaker 2>Oh I saw the poster at game Stop and assume.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, no, they gave me the game a week ago.
<v Speaker 2>Oh maybe you're not. Maybe you shouldn't.
<v Speaker 1>And I haven't seen anybody else posting it. But I'm
<v Speaker 1>quite a few hours in at this point, and I
<v Speaker 1>have a lot of thoughts and maybe I should just
<v Speaker 1>do it in the bonus so that I don't possibly
<v Speaker 1>break any embargo. Yeah, because, as I famously said on
<v Speaker 1>an episode recently, I don't read things when I signed them.
<v Speaker 1>If you give me a contract, for something I want,
<v Speaker 1>I'll just sign it.
<v Speaker 2>You got to read a little bit, I think I.
<v Speaker 1>To this day it has not affected me yet.
<v Speaker 2>It affected me when we got the insurance on my gee.
<v Speaker 1>What was that about?
<v Speaker 2>But because it wasn't a jeep dealership, they wouldn't cover
<v Speaker 2>literally anything.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, but they they would weasel out of that no
<v Speaker 1>matter what the thing said. They sold us a warranty
<v Speaker 1>and insurance saying they would fix issues there for the jeep,
<v Speaker 1>and then we and then when we got there with
<v Speaker 1>an issue, they were like, we don't fix jeeps here.
<v Speaker 1>They lied, They literally lied. That wasn't even me reading
<v Speaker 1>the warranty. They just lied, yep. And also when you're
<v Speaker 1>at a dealership and you buy a car and they
<v Speaker 1>hand you a thirty stack piece of paper on the
<v Speaker 1>day and say sign here, sign here, sign here. Are
<v Speaker 1>you sitting there and reading all of it? Does anybody
<v Speaker 1>actually read all of it? What are you going to do? Say? No,
<v Speaker 1>you're buying a car and you're getting the warranty. It's
<v Speaker 1>what you're supposed to do. That's that's what they make
<v Speaker 1>you do.
<v Speaker 2>Try not to get it didn't work.
<v Speaker 1>This laptop has completely died. I don't even have a
<v Speaker 1>mouse anymore. I don't even know how I'm going to
<v Speaker 1>end the show because I usually hit end streaming here.
<v Speaker 2>Hit the open task bar.
<v Speaker 1>I can't even see chat to see if anyone's mad
<v Speaker 1>at me about the Tesla thing.
<v Speaker 2>I can't.
<v Speaker 1>I can't do it. I'm screwed. That's not I can't
<v Speaker 1>and that's not gonna help me. You think it's going
<v Speaker 1>to scare it into work. I did it and it's
<v Speaker 1>not even all right. Guys, I don't know how this
<v Speaker 1>episode's going to end, but I was just gonna give
<v Speaker 1>it one of these then we're gonna get out of here.
<v Speaker 1>Thank you so much for being here. I appreciate you all.
<v Speaker 1>I love you all. Thanks for watching the podcast. Don't
<v Speaker 1>think it's a life, comment and subscribe, smash this video
<v Speaker 1>with a life. And if you have a Tesla, by
<v Speaker 1>the way, and you were like me and you didn't
<v Speaker 1>know what you were getting yourself into and now you're
<v Speaker 1>stuck with it, I didn't mean to make you feel
<v Speaker 1>bad about that. I'm just saying that I feel much
<v Speaker 1>better about what I've done with my life. If you're
<v Speaker 1>not in the position to be able to trade it
<v Speaker 1>or sell it or get rid of it right now.
<v Speaker 1>And you're and you're stuck with it and you hate it.
<v Speaker 1>I'm sorry and I feel bad for you, but look them.
<v Speaker 1>Calm on it and check out some local dealers because yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I just straight traded like no money exchanged hands. It
<v Speaker 1>was awesome. I can't I can't get this to work,
<v Speaker 1>but yeah, I love you all so much. Like comment
<v Speaker 1>subscribe let us know down below your thoughts on the
<v Speaker 1>Pokemon stuff. Thank you, Kim Believe so much for during
<v Speaker 1>this episode with me. I honestly would have cried without you.
<v Speaker 1>And I'll see you guys next time. You guys think that. Okay, Bye,
