WWE Week in Review: Drew McIntyre Attacks Randy Orton, More Chamber Qualifiers, Vince McMahon Car Wreck Footage

<v Speaker 1>So stay safe though, of course, as everything gets shut down,
<v Speaker 1>and probably off of work or telecommuting tomorrow and or Tuesday,
<v Speaker 1>and enjoy it because you know what, it's the end
<v Speaker 1>of February, and even if you get two feet of snow,
<v Speaker 1>March is next week, which means it could be sixty
<v Speaker 1>and then it could be thirty and doesn't last long,
<v Speaker 1>so we're kind of at the end of it. Even
<v Speaker 1>if you get a blizzard, it's at the point of
<v Speaker 1>the year where doesn't really matter.
<v Speaker 2>You know.
<v Speaker 1>It'll certainly be an interesting spring, though, is we got
<v Speaker 1>a lot of snow pack up here and be a
<v Speaker 1>lot of flooding for sure. So anyway, I didn't mean
<v Speaker 1>to give you a weather report, but just commenting on
<v Speaker 1>I know I have a lot of listeners down in
<v Speaker 1>the city in another major cities along New England. So enjoy. Well,
<v Speaker 1>we're not here to talk about the blizzard. We're here
<v Speaker 1>to talk about wrestling because in less than a week
<v Speaker 1>we have the Elimination Chamber, a lot of stories going around,
<v Speaker 1>a lot of potentials, a lot of big item tickets. Right,
<v Speaker 1>we have brock Lesner returning Tomorrow night in Atlanta, Georgia
<v Speaker 1>for Monday Night Raw. We'll find out who his potential
<v Speaker 1>WrestleMania opponent could be. I would imagine they'll tease it,
<v Speaker 1>or he could be the final entrant in the chamber,
<v Speaker 1>something crazy, right, So brock Lesner is a guarantee at
<v Speaker 1>Tomorrow's Monday Night braw. He's been advertised now for what
<v Speaker 1>two weeks, and it could be La Night, could be
<v Speaker 1>Obfemi could be something when I'm thinking of. So there
<v Speaker 1>is that. It also seems like bron Breaker is not
<v Speaker 1>going to be back in time for WrestleMania, which is
<v Speaker 1>a shame, a big shame for him. But he's young,
<v Speaker 1>He's got a lot more WrestleManias to go as long
<v Speaker 1>as he wants to stay with it. He is on fire,
<v Speaker 1>and I think when he returns he's is he an
<v Speaker 1>automatic babyface. How can he not be despite the fact
<v Speaker 1>that seth Rollins could be targeting him, I think people
<v Speaker 1>would side with Braun. He's the new shiny toy. He's
<v Speaker 1>a young guy that people want to get behind that
<v Speaker 1>feel good story. You know, he's got a lot of momentum.
<v Speaker 1>He's got star written all over him. He's shown that
<v Speaker 1>he can cut a good promo. So it's all right
<v Speaker 1>there for him when he returns, which looks like it's
<v Speaker 1>going to be post WrestleMania, sadly, maybe it will shock
<v Speaker 1>the world booboleselee. Outside of that, we saw a Vince
<v Speaker 1>McMahon videotape. Now, if you haven't seen this make the
<v Speaker 1>rounds yet, well go check it out because there is footage,
<v Speaker 1>body cam footage that it has been released, and it
<v Speaker 1>was in Let's see according to the New York Post.
<v Speaker 1>But by the way, you can go pretty much anywhere YouTube.
<v Speaker 2>And this is.
<v Speaker 1>According to the New York Post. I'll just read your
<v Speaker 1>part of it. Connecticut State Police at least stunning bodycam
<v Speaker 1>footage of Vince McMahon swerving his Bentley into another lane
<v Speaker 1>and striking a vehicle while driving over one hundred miles
<v Speaker 1>an hour in twenty twenty five. The video showed McMahon
<v Speaker 1>hitting the brakes on his Bentley Continental GT right behind
<v Speaker 1>a BMW. He then abruptly move over to the left lane,
<v Speaker 1>totaling his car while hitting the guardrail and rear ending
<v Speaker 1>the vehicle in front of him as debris flew across
<v Speaker 1>the highway. The former boss eventually pulled his car over
<v Speaker 1>and it was smoking from the crash, and he was
<v Speaker 1>approached by a trooper who was tailing him, and that's
<v Speaker 1>when we had Vince McMahon say he almost hit I
<v Speaker 1>think quote one hundred and fifteen miles an hour. He
<v Speaker 1>said he was trying to catch up and accused him
<v Speaker 1>or the trooper said he was trying to catch up
<v Speaker 1>to him and accused him of taking off, and McMahon
<v Speaker 1>denied that he had tried evading the trooper, saying he
<v Speaker 1>saw lights quote but it just looked normal, and Vin said,
<v Speaker 1>I'm not trying to outrun you. He admitted that he
<v Speaker 1>hadn't been driving a car and quote god knows how long.
<v Speaker 1>When the trooper was asked what led to McMahon striking
<v Speaker 1>the vehicle that was right in front of him, asking
<v Speaker 1>if he was on his phone or having a medical episode.
<v Speaker 1>He refused medical attention, and the eighty year old McMahon,
<v Speaker 1>who was charged with misdemeanor reckless driving and following too
<v Speaker 1>close resulting in an accident, appeared to audibly be upset
<v Speaker 1>with himself, saying that he hadn't driven the three hundred
<v Speaker 1>thousand dollars car in quote quite some time and that
<v Speaker 1>it was too fast. He said, God damn it, stupid
<v Speaker 1>effing fool, referring to himself. He didn't hurt anybody else, luckily,
<v Speaker 1>or himself, which is kind of a miracle. So that's
<v Speaker 1>kind of it. I mean, there is damage of the vehicle,
<v Speaker 1>which I mean the front right quadrant of the vehicle
<v Speaker 1>is demolished. It's a miracle. Again, he didn't kill himself
<v Speaker 1>or someone else, so that's a positive. But he's eighty
<v Speaker 1>years old driving a vehicle, which, let's be honest, driving
<v Speaker 1>a vehicle that old, most people are not equipped to
<v Speaker 1>be on the road. Mental decline, reactionary decline. It just
<v Speaker 1>it's the way it goes. I don't want to hear. Well,
<v Speaker 1>my grandma's chipper for an eighty year old, Yeah, for
<v Speaker 1>an eighty year old, But compared to a twenty five
<v Speaker 1>to a forty year old or fifty year old or
<v Speaker 1>even six year old on the road, you probably aren't
<v Speaker 1>equipped to be on the road. And then you add
<v Speaker 1>mental instability into it, which Vince McMahon clearly does seem
<v Speaker 1>to have issues going on, and you know he's he's
<v Speaker 1>I think trying if I was to just take it
<v Speaker 1>stab at what he was doing, probably trying to evay police,
<v Speaker 1>try to feel alive again. He's having a crisis. He
<v Speaker 1>just gave up his baby in WWE. He no longer
<v Speaker 1>owns the company. He may own stock, but he doesn't
<v Speaker 1>own the company. He has no saying what's going on
<v Speaker 1>in his own creation. He's having issues and saying, quote,
<v Speaker 1>it just looked normal that he saw lights from the trooper.
<v Speaker 1>What do you mean by normal? You're doing one hundred
<v Speaker 1>and fifteen. I see lights and I go think to myself,
<v Speaker 1>you know what, hum boy? That that camp? That just
<v Speaker 1>that looks normal?
<v Speaker 3>Yeah? Normal?
<v Speaker 1>If you're trying to get your ass pulled over, I mean,
<v Speaker 1>I I don't know. So clearly Vince is in a
<v Speaker 1>declining state of affairs. If you want to go check
<v Speaker 1>it out, I would recommend you do. It's not. It's
<v Speaker 1>nothing graphic other than seeing a car wreck. But there's
<v Speaker 1>nobody's dead, which again is a miracle. So Vince McMahon
<v Speaker 1>in the summer of twenty twenty five, if you want

<v Speaker 1>is back if you want to check out her review
<v Speaker 1>of SmackDown. We will also have, if it's not already up,
<v Speaker 1>the main event review from Daniel that'll be coming to
<v Speaker 1>you after this episode, hopefully next to Defeat. But I'm
<v Speaker 1>going to give you a little bit of my take
<v Speaker 1>on SmackDown. It took place in Sunrise, Florida at the
<v Speaker 1>Amart Bank Arena, and we had Cody Rhodes being recapped
<v Speaker 1>last week winning the Chamber qualifier, putting Sammy Zane down,
<v Speaker 1>and Cody comes out and ask the fans they want
<v Speaker 1>to talk about because that's just his That's what he does.
<v Speaker 1>It's incredibly formulaic, which is partially why he I don't
<v Speaker 1>think was a very successful champion, but again, I don't
<v Speaker 1>want to go down that road. I'll graze over it.
<v Speaker 1>But he was interrupted by Jacob Fattou. He told Cody
<v Speaker 1>that he had their triple threat won last week and
<v Speaker 1>said he and Cody both know it, and he blamed
<v Speaker 1>WWE champion Drew McIntyre for interfering and then called him out.
<v Speaker 1>Nick All just comes out and he gave McIntyre the
<v Speaker 1>night off. Fans booed, and he invited Fatu to join
<v Speaker 1>him in his office so they could talk about him
<v Speaker 1>getting his hands on McIntyre, and that's when McIntyre was
<v Speaker 1>heard saying some people can't keep the champ's name out
<v Speaker 1>of their mouth, now, can they. McIntyre was in a
<v Speaker 1>luxury box. He said he appreciated all this giving him
<v Speaker 1>the night off, but he's champion. He does what he
<v Speaker 1>wants and said he rented the suite so he could
<v Speaker 1>watch the show. Mcatyre said, Fatu is all bark, no bite,
<v Speaker 1>and he taunted Fatu until he ended up trying to
<v Speaker 1>chase him, but security stopped Fatu and he threw down
<v Speaker 1>a couple of security guards and all this. Then you
<v Speaker 1>basically said you'll know, you'll get what you want. But
<v Speaker 1>we don't know exactly when Fatu is gonna get that
<v Speaker 1>championship match. And there's a lot of speculation, rightfully so,
<v Speaker 1>of Fatu being injected into the championship match with Drew
<v Speaker 1>at WrestleMania, despite the fact that he may not win
<v Speaker 1>the chamber. He's not even in the chamber. But if
<v Speaker 1>he's not going to win the chamber unless he's somehow
<v Speaker 1>inserted as an injury replacement, which means Cody is a
<v Speaker 1>likely favorite to win. But you still have Fatu, who
<v Speaker 1>is due his opportunity at Drew. You have Cody who's
<v Speaker 1>likely going to win the chamber, and then you have
<v Speaker 1>now Orton being involved after Drew attacked Orton at SmackDown,
<v Speaker 1>which we'll get to. So is this transitioning at WrestleMania
<v Speaker 1>into a fatal four way for the w W Championship,
<v Speaker 1>the undisputed Championship. It seems like it might be headed
<v Speaker 1>that way, despite the fact that Cody has the cleanest
<v Speaker 1>path and the path that would you think would get
<v Speaker 1>him a one on one with Drew. These other two men,
<v Speaker 1>Randy and Fatu have a claim now and beef with
<v Speaker 1>Randy Orton or with sorry Drew, which means Fatu and
<v Speaker 1>Randy could inject himself into this match and make it
<v Speaker 1>a fatal four way, rendering the outcome of the elimination
<v Speaker 1>chamber completely useless because Cody now has his chances split
<v Speaker 1>into a quarter instead of just having him one on
<v Speaker 1>one against against Drew McIntyre. So this is likely seeming
<v Speaker 1>it seems like that's where they're going. I don't know
<v Speaker 1>how I feel about it yet, given the fact that
<v Speaker 1>Fatu is in the main event, but it's split with
<v Speaker 1>Orton and with Cody, it's a little more palatable rather
<v Speaker 1>than having Fatu versus McIntyre, which I think would have
<v Speaker 1>been a big disaster. Yeah, Randy Orton also could win
<v Speaker 1>the chamber. He's a secondary favorite and who what the heck,
<v Speaker 1>why not at this point in his career. I don't
<v Speaker 1>think we're seeing the most out of Randy Orton that
<v Speaker 1>we can either. By the way, I understand that he's
<v Speaker 1>not the future anymore, but we still should get the
<v Speaker 1>most out of Orton while he's here and still in
<v Speaker 1>incredible shape. So having him win the Chamber and go
<v Speaker 1>one on one with Drew at WrestleMania actually wouldn't be
<v Speaker 1>the craziest thing. But it seems like if we don't
<v Speaker 1>have Cody and or Fatu in that match with Drew
<v Speaker 1>at WrestleMania in eight weeks, then where do they go.
<v Speaker 1>You can't have Fatu versus Cody. We've done that. We've
<v Speaker 1>done that. You know what's on the line, really nothing,
<v Speaker 1>we've seen that. So Cody and Fatu they don't like
<v Speaker 1>each other, But you can't have those two going on one.
<v Speaker 1>It's not particularly interesting. So what do you do? You
<v Speaker 1>make it a fatal four way, have an incredible WWE
<v Speaker 1>Championship match, and that's probably what they're gonna do. So
<v Speaker 1>if Randy wins or Cody wins, just know it's seemingly
<v Speaker 1>likely that all four men will converge. Despite who wins
<v Speaker 1>the chamber at WrestleMania for a fatal four way. I'm
<v Speaker 1>not a fan of fatal four ways just in principle
<v Speaker 1>or triple threats imprinciple for championships, simply because I am
<v Speaker 1>a bit of an old school guy when it comes
<v Speaker 1>to wanting one on one at WrestleMania, I think you
<v Speaker 1>can get a deeper story. It's easier to digest. There's
<v Speaker 1>less going on. It's simplified. You don't have to worry
<v Speaker 1>about so many guys getting their crap in and making
<v Speaker 1>sure that the story makes sense, and it becomes a
<v Speaker 1>spider web that you have to make sure it makes
<v Speaker 1>sense and connects. So I don't like it, but in execution,
<v Speaker 1>it's gonna be a really good match if this happens.
<v Speaker 1>I can't see any other outcome really, so I don't
<v Speaker 1>care if Cody wins Randy wins. The chamber. Seems like
<v Speaker 1>that all four men are just destined to have that
<v Speaker 1>fatal four way at WrestleMania elimination maybe, or it's just
<v Speaker 1>a fatal meaning it's one fall to a finish, but
<v Speaker 1>that also means that there are no rules, no disqualification
<v Speaker 1>if there's a multiperson match again, that makes absolutely no
<v Speaker 1>sense on its face, but we've all just accepted it
<v Speaker 1>for some reason that anytime you have a triple threat
<v Speaker 1>or fatal four way that it's automatically disqualification. Notice, no acute.
<v Speaker 1>It just doesn't make any sense. But that's what we've
<v Speaker 1>just adopted. So nonetheless, let's move on. I think I've
<v Speaker 1>made my point more than once. So we have mctyre
<v Speaker 1>say everyone's jealous of him because he's champion, and Cody says, hey, Drew, not,
<v Speaker 1>the whole world's not after you because you're the champ.
<v Speaker 1>The whole world's after you because you're an a hole.
<v Speaker 1>And that's it. Oh so Cody, Oh, he's getting edgy.
<v Speaker 1>We've heard this before. You heard this before from Cody.
<v Speaker 1>It doesn't it doesn't change my view of him. You
<v Speaker 1>know that he's Oh he's edgy. Now he's not so
<v Speaker 1>soft and protected and you know, manufactured and family friendly.
<v Speaker 1>Oh my god, he said a hole. It doesn't do
<v Speaker 1>anything for me.
<v Speaker 2>Whatever. Uh.
<v Speaker 1>So we have then Dragon Off Iliot Dragon Off versus Tomatonga.
<v Speaker 1>The match went almost ten minutes, with Tomatonga beating Dragon
<v Speaker 1>Off after a cutthroat finish. Don't like the move I've
<v Speaker 1>said that before. The finish looks horrible, looks like a
<v Speaker 1>shoulder block. He can't really tell what he's doing. It's
<v Speaker 1>too quick, needs to change it. I'm not a fan
<v Speaker 1>of that finish. Again, a lot of it is because
<v Speaker 1>it doesn't look good at all. You don't even know
<v Speaker 1>what it is. The problem is this, here's a good
<v Speaker 1>litmus test for anybody who has a finishing move in
<v Speaker 1>pro wrestling. If somebody who's never seen it, never and
<v Speaker 1>they're a wrestling fan, if they look at it and
<v Speaker 1>go humh, and they don't react to it or even
<v Speaker 1>have a thought that crosses their mind that thinks, wow,
<v Speaker 1>that looks like it could be a finish, that looks devastating,
<v Speaker 1>then it's not a good finish. That's a good test
<v Speaker 1>to just give a random wrestling fan. Hey, look at
<v Speaker 1>this move. What are your first thoughts? If in that
<v Speaker 1>response nothing points to that looks devastating, looks like it
<v Speaker 1>could be a finish, that's a cool move. If none
<v Speaker 1>of those boxes are checked, change your finished Just change it.
<v Speaker 1>That's just the rule. I don't actually I don't make
<v Speaker 1>the rules. That's just how it is. Can anybody tell
<v Speaker 1>me that the cutthroat finish is a good finish, much
<v Speaker 1>like the Big Ending, much like even Cody Rhodes finish.
<v Speaker 1>I've hammered that a number of times. The Crossroads is horrible.
<v Speaker 1>Big EA's finish is probably number one, but I don't
<v Speaker 1>have to worry about that anymore. Anyway, the match was fine,
<v Speaker 1>Tom a Tongka beating Dragon off. It wasn't about that
<v Speaker 1>because afterwards, Solo cut a promo talking about taking the titles,
<v Speaker 1>and we had, you know, a bunch of guys get
<v Speaker 1>beat down, including Matt Cardona and Apollo Cruz, who gets
<v Speaker 1>absolutely no reaction anymore. And Uncle Howdie appeared on screen
<v Speaker 1>with the VHS style presentation and he talked about being
<v Speaker 1>having Solo be on his own and how he would
<v Speaker 1>he questioned if Solo would show up to face him
<v Speaker 1>by himself without his backup, and it was fine. And
<v Speaker 1>I think that I've been complaining that there's no character
<v Speaker 1>development whatsoever with the Wide Six among many other stars
<v Speaker 1>and female stars, but they at least attempted here, despite
<v Speaker 1>the voice manipulation that they did, which I don't think
<v Speaker 1>was needed, and it was kind of cartoonish, not even
<v Speaker 1>the makeup, which I just accepted, and the fact they're
<v Speaker 1>living on Bray's legacy. But I didn't need the voice manipulation.
<v Speaker 1>I don't need that. I don't need him to sound
<v Speaker 1>like he's Cane from nineteen ninety eight on a voice box.
<v Speaker 1>Remember that, those of you that are old enough to
<v Speaker 1>remember that. I didn't need that. I think it took
<v Speaker 1>away from it. But he at least spoke. And they're
<v Speaker 1>trying to get boil it down to the leader versus
<v Speaker 1>the leader, and there'll come to some kind of resolution. Right,
<v Speaker 1>this is the big blowoff Uncle Howdy face to face
<v Speaker 1>with Solo. Where does that end? What's the finish? I
<v Speaker 1>would actually argue that it's probably going to be Alo
<v Speaker 1>who comes out on top of her, and I think
<v Speaker 1>he should. What are you gonna do with the Wide six?
<v Speaker 1>What's the plan here? What is the plan? Doesn't seem
<v Speaker 1>like there is one. You can make them occasionally tag
<v Speaker 1>team champions, fine, but is there any real indication that
<v Speaker 1>they're gonna take any of these guys, including Uncle Howdie
<v Speaker 1>and make them solo act to make them bigger stars. No?
<v Speaker 1>I don't see it, and do I dare say that
<v Speaker 1>that group is better off on their own. Put Nicky
<v Speaker 1>Cross back in the women's division. I don't need her
<v Speaker 1>back as Nicky Cross. You could keep her in her
<v Speaker 1>kind of spooky character. That's fine, But right now as
<v Speaker 1>a group, they're getting so little TV time, and again
<v Speaker 1>they're just living off of bray. But okay, moving on,
<v Speaker 1>So we have Byron Sachson interview Randy Orton, fine, which
<v Speaker 1>didn't really nothing came of that. We had Jade Cargill
<v Speaker 1>come out and she yes cuts a promo she said
<v Speaker 1>she defends the title on her time. Because again, notice
<v Speaker 1>the contradiction, this incessant, almost OCD like reaction to make
<v Speaker 1>sure that it diametrically opposes what WWE has babyfaces say
<v Speaker 1>when they're champion, meaning I'm only going to defend it
<v Speaker 1>when I want to, and that actually should be the case.
<v Speaker 1>Why shouldn't you call your shot. That's not that's smart,
<v Speaker 1>that's smart business. Defend it when you want to. Now,
<v Speaker 1>you should be contractually obligated to defended every thirty days.
<v Speaker 1>I thought at one point that was in this imaginary
<v Speaker 1>WWE rule book. Remember that in this rule book there
<v Speaker 1>that there is this this rule that says that you
<v Speaker 1>must defend your championship every thirty days or be stripped
<v Speaker 1>of the championship. Now, I don't need that actually enforced
<v Speaker 1>because it does run into a lot of logistical problems.
<v Speaker 1>Maybe there isn't a pl coming up in thirty days,
<v Speaker 1>or the storyline doesn't warrant it, and then you have
<v Speaker 1>to remember every yeah, all the time that oh crap,
<v Speaker 1>you know, this championship hasn't been defended. What are we
<v Speaker 1>gonna do? We gotta have a championship match here? It
<v Speaker 1>gets there's a lot to remember, and they're always, you know,
<v Speaker 1>seemingly bringing out new championships. I don't need that actually enforced.
<v Speaker 1>But that said, if there was some kind of loose,
<v Speaker 1>overarching rule that forced the champion to defend the championship,
<v Speaker 1>then then I'm fine with it, and they'd probably pick
<v Speaker 1>and choose when that it's actually enforced. Thirty days is
<v Speaker 1>a little stiff because you could point to chapter I mean,
<v Speaker 1>Roman Reigns would have been stripped through to championship within
<v Speaker 1>like two months right in his run. He wouldn't have
<v Speaker 1>made it to you know, forty days, much less the eleven,
<v Speaker 1>thirteen hundred whatever it was. Okay, So but Jade did
<v Speaker 1>come out, she said, Grace tried her best, but it
<v Speaker 1>wasn't good enough and said live will make her Wrestlemanni
<v Speaker 1>decision on Monday and said, lucky for her, that's where
<v Speaker 1>she resides. And she listed potential elimination chamber Chamber winners
<v Speaker 1>and said that no matter who she faces, she'll come
<v Speaker 1>out on top because she's that bitch. Okay, fine, you
<v Speaker 1>know what, Fine, this was fine. Did it have career
<v Speaker 1>altering implications? No, But you know what, for all the
<v Speaker 1>complaining I do that she never gets a chance to talk,
<v Speaker 1>or they don't trust her to talk or both, I'll
<v Speaker 1>take whatever I can get and this I'm not going
<v Speaker 1>to criticize it. Was it short and sweet. Yeah, that's
<v Speaker 1>just kind of who Jade is. We still don't really
<v Speaker 1>know who and what she is other than she's just
<v Speaker 1>that bitch. Okay whatever that means. But it's a phrase.
<v Speaker 1>That's fine. But again, I would continue to do this.
<v Speaker 1>She needs reps. Continue this even if it's a thirty
<v Speaker 1>second promo and then then shut up to forty seconds
<v Speaker 1>and then a minute. Get it to the point where
<v Speaker 1>you can rely on her to cut a great home

<v Speaker 1>was kind of like walking her backstage, and Flair was
<v Speaker 1>one of the first ones. So that'll be fun when
<v Speaker 1>they get to this. So we have then Charlotte Versus
<v Speaker 1>Naya versus Keanna James at a triple threat qualifier with
<v Speaker 1>another one of these triple threat qualifiers for the Women's
<v Speaker 1>Elimination Chamber, and the match was twelve and a half
<v Speaker 1>minutes with Keana James, Yes, Kianna James winning, beating Charlotte
<v Speaker 1>and Naya Jacks. But how did she do it? Well,
<v Speaker 1>here's the finish. Flair went up to the top, she
<v Speaker 1>was cut off by Nya, who joined her on the ropes.
<v Speaker 1>Jax tried to put Flair on her back, but Flair
<v Speaker 1>slipped away and put her down with a power bomb.
<v Speaker 1>Flair then put Jackson the figure eight. Kana slid under
<v Speaker 1>Flare's back and hooked her into a p and got
<v Speaker 1>the three count. Well, nobody saw this coming. You can't
<v Speaker 1>tell me that Keanu James was exactly primed for this victory. Now,
<v Speaker 1>is she gonna win the Chamber match again? There's a
<v Speaker 1>better chance of you know, of them calling me to
<v Speaker 1>replace somebody in the chamber this Saturday. It's not gonna happen.
<v Speaker 1>It's not the point though. Again, shift your lens. Why
<v Speaker 1>did Kiana James win? Well, we already have a lot
<v Speaker 1>of stars in that chamber match. Could they have made
<v Speaker 1>it bigger and have more stars? Yeah, But you know what,
<v Speaker 1>you can't just have all the stars that are already
<v Speaker 1>they already have brand value. You can't stick them all
<v Speaker 1>in one match and expect also new stars to continue
<v Speaker 1>to be built. So having new stars have that moment
<v Speaker 1>in the ring, potentially big moments, maybe shocking moments in
<v Speaker 1>the ring, get in front of eyeballs. Is I agree,
<v Speaker 1>more important than just putting out the stars that are
<v Speaker 1>already over, plus they already I would think, have a
<v Speaker 1>story involving Flair for WrestleMania. You can't leave Flair out.
<v Speaker 1>And maybe it's there's rumors now of a Lexiblist turning
<v Speaker 1>heel and all the rest I mean, which I have
<v Speaker 1>mixed feelings on. I think that this is a good move,
<v Speaker 1>shocking move, one that I don't think anybody had their
<v Speaker 1>money on for this matchup, that Keana James was going
<v Speaker 1>to be one to take this matchup and qualify for
<v Speaker 1>the Chamber. But you know what, I'm not mad about it.
<v Speaker 1>And it also keeps Flair out of the conversation for
<v Speaker 1>the Women's Championship, at least for a little while longer still,
<v Speaker 1>which is I think a good thing for Charlotte. She's
<v Speaker 1>been living and dying for that Women's championship for so
<v Speaker 1>long that when she switched to the tag team division
<v Speaker 1>and worked with somebody as lovable as Alexa, it flipped
<v Speaker 1>the script completely on how the fans look at Flair.
<v Speaker 1>They finally found the formula, albeit likely accidentally to getting
<v Speaker 1>fans to actually get behind Charlotte, and they don't want
<v Speaker 1>to go back to I don't think having her chase
<v Speaker 1>the championship and then fans go, oh right, that's why.
<v Speaker 1>Wait a minute, yeah, we don't like you. I forgot.
<v Speaker 1>I think they want to keep her in the position
<v Speaker 1>she's at because she's in a good spot. It's not
<v Speaker 1>her it's not the most prominent position she's ever been in.
<v Speaker 1>But Flair is already I mean, she's as accomplished as
<v Speaker 1>you can possibly be in this business. She may be
<v Speaker 1>arguably the most accomplished women's wrestler of all time, one
<v Speaker 1>of the best women's wrestlers of all time, despite the
<v Speaker 1>fact that she for many years when they tried to
<v Speaker 1>turn her baby face or make her feel sympathetic, it
<v Speaker 1>was a big flop. She was definitely better as a heel.
<v Speaker 1>She's finally found the combination that she's threaded the needle
<v Speaker 1>of being able to be supported by the crowd that
<v Speaker 1>has hated her for so long. But she is as
<v Speaker 1>accomplished as it can be, and she's aging right, we
<v Speaker 1>all do so. The company is not going to put
<v Speaker 1>their the weight of the championship and the women's division.
<v Speaker 1>I don't think on Charlotte Flair anymore. She'll be I
<v Speaker 1>think definitely champion again. But I don't think they're looking
<v Speaker 1>at her going. Man, that's the future right there, because
<v Speaker 1>the future is always the next newest, shiniest toy and
<v Speaker 1>Charlotte anet. Charlotte say, a reliable, grizzled veteran with a
<v Speaker 1>lot of experience and a lot of star power, and
<v Speaker 1>you need those people in your rostrum. And not advocating
<v Speaker 1>for her to leave, but right now, Charlotte Flair, if
<v Speaker 1>I'm the company, I'm going, Hey, you know what, She's
<v Speaker 1>in a good position. Let's not question that. It's an
<v Speaker 1>opportunity to have eyeballs on a new star like Keanu James.

<v Speaker 1>a shame that I didn't qualify, and Sky said james
<v Speaker 1>partner Julia wouldn't be so lucky when she faces Ripley
<v Speaker 1>later in the show. All right, we had an Oba
<v Speaker 1>Femi and Kit Wilson male feminist segment. Whatever. It ended
<v Speaker 1>with Obafemi just destroying him in forty seconds. I don't
<v Speaker 1>think there was a single offensive maneuver by Kit Wilson
<v Speaker 1>on Obafemi. Whatever. I'm ready for Obafemi to move on.
<v Speaker 1>I understand squash matches have value, but you can't continue
<v Speaker 1>to have it to be the same guy. Kate Wilson's
<v Speaker 1>a fun foil. He's a heel, very unlikable. You need
<v Speaker 1>guys like that, but this combination, I'm a board move on,
<v Speaker 1>like Oba Femi needs bigger, better things to do. And

<v Speaker 1>lot to do with wrestling, so I'll move on. We

<v Speaker 1>twenty eight thing again, and that was teased, and Tiffany
<v Speaker 1>Stratton takes on Alba Fire, with her beating Alba Fire
<v Speaker 1>in about ten minutes. After Stratton went for a handsbring elbow,

<v Speaker 1>tornado DDT. Stratton tossed her to the mat and then
<v Speaker 1>she hit a rolling sent on and hit the prettiest
<v Speaker 1>moon soft for the victory. Kind of a standard victory
<v Speaker 1>here for Tiffany, as it should have been over Alba Fire.
<v Speaker 1>And that's not to say Albi Fire didn't look competitive
<v Speaker 1>here she did. Albu Fire I think had a decent
<v Speaker 1>showing when you look at where they are stacked on
<v Speaker 1>the hierarchy of where the star power totem pole, if
<v Speaker 1>there's such a thing in WWE, I mean Tiffany Stratton's
<v Speaker 1>towards the top. Albufire is clearly towards the bottom, and
<v Speaker 1>so as competitive as you could have hoped, it would
<v Speaker 1>be definitely not a squash. But the right person one
<v Speaker 1>here at Tiffany Stratton. And fine, yeah, but again I
<v Speaker 1>will say that Tiffany Stratton is in a weird place.
<v Speaker 1>I said that last week. I continue to say it.
<v Speaker 1>Fans are not where they used to be for Tiffany.
<v Speaker 1>It's hard to keep fans where you want them to
<v Speaker 1>be because fans are very fickle. They want what they want,
<v Speaker 1>and when they feel like they've used enough up of you,
<v Speaker 1>a lot of times, they'll kick you to the curb.
<v Speaker 1>And keeping long term support is difficult and very few
<v Speaker 1>men and women are able to do that. And tifty Stratton,
<v Speaker 1>I think is learning right now that she's on the
<v Speaker 1>decline when it comes to crowd support and one wrong move,
<v Speaker 1>wrong slip up, and one wrong opponent that the fans
<v Speaker 1>can look at and say, you know what, Tiffany's kind
<v Speaker 1>of annoying. From her shrill voice to her immature attitude,
<v Speaker 1>you know she's it's kind of just annoying, and especially
<v Speaker 1>if you watch her on social media too. In a
<v Speaker 1>real sense, all the character stuff aside as like a person,
<v Speaker 1>she's incredibly materialistic. She is your just I mean, she
<v Speaker 1>kind of adds to the stereotype of blonde. All the
<v Speaker 1>jokes and stuff I don't I'm not certainly making fun
<v Speaker 1>of people have blonde hair. But the stereotypes, I mean,
<v Speaker 1>stereotypes are stereotypes for reason. Stereotypes don't just come out
<v Speaker 1>of nowhere. A lot of stereotypes happen to be true,
<v Speaker 1>regardless of their offensive. A lot of them are just
<v Speaker 1>because that's just the way it is, not all, but
<v Speaker 1>some Nonetheless, Tiffany doesn't really, I think, counter that stereotype.
<v Speaker 1>And she's at least comes across as a superficial, very
<v Speaker 1>superficial person. And she does not appeal to me in
<v Speaker 1>any way, whether it's from a character standpoint or from
<v Speaker 1>a real persons standpoint. N Ring Yes, certainly, really good,
<v Speaker 1>very good, athletic young. When she puts on and you
<v Speaker 1>know her eighteen layers of makeup, you know, they think
<v Speaker 1>that she she looks like a completely different person without makeup,
<v Speaker 1>much like Ria Ripley. Yeah, I mean, I think there's
<v Speaker 1>just too much makeup going on. Yeah, I don't. I
<v Speaker 1>don't find it particularly attractive with I don't mean attractive
<v Speaker 1>in the sense that I need to have some kind
<v Speaker 1>of sex symbol on the show. I mean just in
<v Speaker 1>the sense of there's just too much. There's just too
<v Speaker 1>much makeup, Like it's just like a like. For example,
<v Speaker 1>even the men. I've seen the men wear makeup, but
<v Speaker 1>I've also seen a lot of the men wear too
<v Speaker 1>much face paint, for example. If you're a wonder what
<v Speaker 1>the hell I'm talking about. And this is a little
<v Speaker 1>bit different because the purpose of the makeup is a
<v Speaker 1>little bit different. But the MFTs, I don't. They're just
<v Speaker 1>the only thing they got going for them is makeup.
<v Speaker 1>That's about it. The MFTs have no identity. They're kind
<v Speaker 1>of in the same boat as the Wide six where
<v Speaker 1>outside of Solo, you don't really know anything about any
<v Speaker 1>of them, and they just put makeup on and make
<v Speaker 1>themselves a look more a little more interesting. They've got
<v Speaker 1>makeup and that's about it. Now with the women, it's
<v Speaker 1>a little bit different because the makeup is there. It's
<v Speaker 1>because they feel like that helps them make them more attractive.
<v Speaker 1>Otherwise you wouldn't wear the makeup. That's the purpose of
<v Speaker 1>the makeup. But I feel like there's just too much.
<v Speaker 1>And if you've seen a side by side, it's like
<v Speaker 1>a lot of these women don't even need it. A
<v Speaker 1>lot of them do have a lot of physical natural beauty.
<v Speaker 1>But Ria ripley Man, she looks like a totally different person.
<v Speaker 1>Tiffany Stratton too. It's just too much, too much in
<v Speaker 1>my opinion, that's all. But again, Tiffany Stratton needs to
<v Speaker 1>be careful. I think she's doesn't even know it, and
<v Speaker 1>she's on a tight rope now with the fans. Okay,
<v Speaker 1>moving on, because I got some emails to get to.
<v Speaker 1>We have Sammy Zane backstage with Cody and Tulling. Sammy,
<v Speaker 1>you have nothing to be ashamed of. Sammy said he
<v Speaker 1>helped Cody and Cody stuck any life in his back,
<v Speaker 1>and Cody said Zaane fell into the crossroads. And Cody
<v Speaker 1>said he took advantage of an opportunity and said Zane
<v Speaker 1>hadn't taken care of his opportunities and that's why he

<v Speaker 1>in the match. So Lash Legend Ria Ripley, they both strong,
<v Speaker 1>muscular women. That's kind of the cell here. Lash Legend
<v Speaker 1>the newcomer getting her feet wet with one of the
<v Speaker 1>biggest stars in wrestling for the women. Ria Ripley's I'm
<v Speaker 1>fine with it, and you gotta get these women established
<v Speaker 1>off the bat and her working with Jacks also is
<v Speaker 1>really good. Ni Jacks has some value now she's found
<v Speaker 1>her footing. Lash Legend and Nijacks are a great team.

<v Speaker 1>real wrestling and good stories. To be fair, I don't
<v Speaker 1>care if the wrestlers aren't well known. I only care
<v Speaker 1>about the equality and ticket prices. Of course, I'm not
<v Speaker 1>never watching WWE again, but I just don't care as
<v Speaker 1>much they are. Rather WWE is really not what it
<v Speaker 1>once was with Vince McMahon. That's it for me. Have
<v Speaker 1>a good one, Darius. You mean you hit it on
<v Speaker 1>the head. That's how I feel. At times. It's embarrassing
<v Speaker 1>to be a fan. There's no other way to put it.
<v Speaker 1>It is embarrassing to be a fan, especially as we
<v Speaker 1>get older. I mean, I'm forty one years old now,
<v Speaker 1>which is crazy to say. I still feel twenty five.
<v Speaker 1>I certainly act twenty five at times. You know, the
<v Speaker 1>older you get, the you just have to fake it more.
<v Speaker 1>I feel as men we just kind of freeze. Anywhere
<v Speaker 1>between like nineteen and twenty five is where our brains
<v Speaker 1>stop developing and our bodies continue to age, but are
<v Speaker 1>the way we think and act a lot of times,
<v Speaker 1>not everything, but there's like some core parts of us
<v Speaker 1>that just freeze and our bodies continue, but our brains
<v Speaker 1>are just the stay still. But that said, my point
<v Speaker 1>about that was, as we get older, it does feel
<v Speaker 1>like this we've kind of like outgrown this stuff. It
<v Speaker 1>sometimes feels like a child's product that I'm watching. It
<v Speaker 1>doesn't feel like a product made for me anymore. And
<v Speaker 1>when that happens, I feel embarrassed to watch because I'm
<v Speaker 1>trying to get into it, But the part of me
<v Speaker 1>that says, what are you doing? Just takes over it.
<v Speaker 1>Just your brain has kind of moved on to things
<v Speaker 1>that actually grab your attention and are more age appropriate.
<v Speaker 1>Now I'm slamming a product that I've partially made a
<v Speaker 1>living off of, doing this show and talking about wrestling
<v Speaker 1>for the last at least on this show, I've been
<v Speaker 1>talking about it for the last twelve years. That's true,
<v Speaker 1>and I still love wrestling. I guess I just miss
<v Speaker 1>what I used, what it used to be. No, that's
<v Speaker 1>what it used to be. You got to move on
<v Speaker 1>and everything progresses.

<v Speaker 1>Again, progression in and of itself does not mean better.
<v Speaker 1>There's a lot of things that progress that aren't good.
<v Speaker 1>I know, we've been led to believe that progression and
<v Speaker 1>evolution just in and of itself is good. It's it's
<v Speaker 1>an inherently good thing. And again, for example, cancer evolves,
<v Speaker 1>cancer progresses, that's not a good thing. Disease, any kind
<v Speaker 1>of disease progresses, evolves, adapts, and it's not always certainly no,
<v Speaker 1>it's never good if you're trying to stay alive. So
<v Speaker 1>I think we need to kind of reprogram our brains
<v Speaker 1>when we hear evolve and progress that it not necessary,
<v Speaker 1>it's not necessarily inherently good. And today's product, for me,
<v Speaker 1>a lot of the time feels childish. It feels like
<v Speaker 1>a product that I've outgrown, I've out aged it. It
<v Speaker 1>does feel like that a lot of the time. And
<v Speaker 1>I struggle watching some of the shows and some of
<v Speaker 1>the segments, and it feels like, you know, the sixteen
<v Speaker 1>year old me that was in the Attitude era still
<v Speaker 1>lives in me and is is looking for what connected
<v Speaker 1>me to that product in a way that I've never
<v Speaker 1>been connected to any form of entertainment. And I very
<v Speaker 1>rarely get that feeling in watching today's product anymore because
<v Speaker 1>it's not the same product. I'm not asking it to be,
<v Speaker 1>but it's the double edged sort of aging and things
<v Speaker 1>quote unquote progressing. So Darius Man, I get it. You
<v Speaker 1>don't have to sell me on it. And if you
<v Speaker 1>want to support smaller promotions, hey, I one hundred percent
<v Speaker 1>support that you don't need my endorsement, but I understand
<v Speaker 1>what you mean. You love what pro wrestling brings as
<v Speaker 1>a form of entertainment, You respect it. You want to
<v Speaker 1>support the industry, and there's no better way and no
<v Speaker 1>better impact than you can have than supporting a local
<v Speaker 1>wrestling promotion in your area. There's likely some. They're all
<v Speaker 1>around the country, right There are wrestling promotions all around
<v Speaker 1>the country, small medium wrestling promotions, independent promotions that you
<v Speaker 1>can support, and i'd highly encourage you to do that.
<v Speaker 1>And it's fun. I've been to a few local promotions myself.
<v Speaker 1>It's much different of an environment and a lot cheaper too,
<v Speaker 1>And I know that I'm sure that the performers there,
<v Speaker 1>wrestlers there, appreciate every damn person that's in that building.
<v Speaker 1>So yeah, I totally I'm with you. I am with you,
<v Speaker 1>And you know what, it's not also just the bad
<v Speaker 1>creative decisions, because those are plentiful right now. And Eric

<v Speaker 3>the three matches that I was focusing on for teen
<v Speaker 3>A No Surrender. The first one that I was focusing
<v Speaker 3>on was the singles match for the TEENA International Championship
<v Speaker 3>of the challenger in Trey Miguil versus the champion in
<v Speaker 3>Chatting Stacks Lorenzo. This match lasted ten minutes and fifty
<v Speaker 3>seven seconds. As surprisingly, we have a new T Day
<v Speaker 3>International Champion in Trey Miguil as he defeated Stacks. The
<v Speaker 3>second match to I focus on for Tenay's No Surrender
<v Speaker 3>was a singles match for the TNA Knockouts title of
<v Speaker 3>the challenger in Ariona Grace versus the champion in Lee
<v Speaker 3>Ying Lee formally known as Zai Lee. This match lasted
<v Speaker 3>thirteen minutes and twenty five seconds as Ariana Grace surprisingly
<v Speaker 3>defeated Lee Ying Lee to become the new TNA Knockouts
<v Speaker 3>Champion with the help from her boyfriend Stax. She also
<v Speaker 3>used the ifamous Cobra sock from her father that she
<v Speaker 3>stole while she had that emotional gesture of the previous
<v Speaker 3>episode of TDA on AMC, and followed by that, she
<v Speaker 3>used the Fireman's carry knee strike to seal the victory.
<v Speaker 3>As Ariana Grace wins her first title in TNA and
<v Speaker 3>her first title in professional wrestling. I guess it's safe

<v Speaker 3>on for Teena's No Surrender and that was the main
<v Speaker 3>of a tag team match of Eddie Edwards and nickname
<v Speaker 3>It versus the X Division Champion in Leon Slater and
<v Speaker 3>the TNA World Champion in Mike Santana. This match lasted
<v Speaker 3>twenty three minutes and nineteen seconds, which featured a whole
<v Speaker 3>lot of shenetigans. We had a referee bump. We had
<v Speaker 3>the appearance of Steve Macklin as he attacked it Mike Santana.
<v Speaker 3>We also had the appearance of Moose as he appeared
<v Speaker 3>take down all members of the system. However, Santana and
<v Speaker 3>Slater got the victory via Leon Slater delivering a swantown
<v Speaker 3>four to fifty splash too nicknameag to close off teenas
<v Speaker 3>no surrender And now to Joe Hendry. Last week Wednesday,

<v Speaker 3>that's what they do. And it's official. On Saturday, March seventh,
<v Speaker 3>at Vengeance Day, it will be Joe Hendry versus Ricky
<v Speaker 3>Saints for the NXT title. However, at the moment of
