<v Speaker 2>rewatching markets, Henry, could you tell us what was going
<v Speaker 2>on at the beginning of this episode.
<v Speaker 3>At the beginning of the episode, we see Blue living
<v Speaker 3>up her pillow and she gets five dollars out from
<v Speaker 3>under it that was given to her by the tooth Fairy.
<v Speaker 3>She goes run into the kitchen yelling, I got five
<v Speaker 3>dollars from the tooth fairyo.
<v Speaker 2>Wid box. Yeah, no, Fox, five bucks. That's what she
<v Speaker 2>left Old Blue's friends.
<v Speaker 4>Well, that tooth fairy's doing well for herself, isn't she.
<v Speaker 3>Chilli mentioned that Blue could probably spend that money at
<v Speaker 3>the markets.
<v Speaker 2>Blue sure was excited. I remember how excited these two
<v Speaker 2>kids were when they lost their first tooth. It was
<v Speaker 2>a whole thing around here, it was.
<v Speaker 4>They were so excited to wake up and find that
<v Speaker 4>money under their pillow.
<v Speaker 2>They're off to the markets. Stella, what his bandit playing
<v Speaker 2>with Bingo?
<v Speaker 3>He's doing this little piggy game thing.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, Bingo thought that was peak comedy. She was sure
<v Speaker 2>having fun with it. What did Bluie notice Stella about
<v Speaker 2>her money.
<v Speaker 3>She noticed that the tooth Fairy put a special sticker
<v Speaker 3>on it.
<v Speaker 2>She doesn't have any idea what to spend that on.
<v Speaker 2>And when they get to the market, we see Indy
<v Speaker 2>with her mom at their booth, and Blue asked Indy
<v Speaker 2>to go with her to help her.
<v Speaker 3>Stella.
<v Speaker 2>What was the first thing they saw?
<v Speaker 3>They saw these giant bubbles, and Blue and Indy were
<v Speaker 3>having a lot of fun popping them. Bluie thought that
<v Speaker 3>she might want to buy one of those, but she
<v Speaker 3>ended up deciding not to.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, that's tough. You see something cool right away and
<v Speaker 2>you want to spend your money right then, but there's
<v Speaker 2>a whole market to look at before you decide, and
<v Speaker 2>I think she made a good decision, Amanda. Where did
<v Speaker 2>they go next?
<v Speaker 4>Blue and Andy saw a lady that had a couple
<v Speaker 4>of ponies and she was selling pony rides. So the
<v Speaker 4>girls went over and they asked her what the pony's
<v Speaker 4>names were. One of them was Biscuits and the other
<v Speaker 4>one was Buttermilk. Blue decided she wanted to buy a
<v Speaker 4>ride on Buttermilk, and the lady took her money and
<v Speaker 4>she set her up on Buttermilk and Blue scooted back
<v Speaker 4>so she could make room for Indy, but the lady said,
<v Speaker 4>oh no, no, no, only one person can ride and
<v Speaker 4>Indy you could tell she was sad, but she said,
<v Speaker 4>oh it's okay, Blue, I'll just catch up with you later.
<v Speaker 4>And Bluuie decided that she did not want to ride
<v Speaker 4>the pony if Indy couldn't ride with her. So the
<v Speaker 4>pony lady was nice enough to get Blue down from
<v Speaker 4>the pony and she gave her her five dollars back
<v Speaker 4>and she commented on what a good friend Blue is.
<v Speaker 2>I thought it was pretty wild that the pony lady
<v Speaker 2>wouldn't just let her the thing. It's like, you can
<v Speaker 2>either get five dollars or you can get no dollars.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, it looked like there was enough room for two
<v Speaker 4>little girls to ride on the pony.
<v Speaker 2>There was. It was about the money.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>The girls are disappointed and they're saying there goodbyes to
<v Speaker 2>the beautiful pony. Buttermilk and we watched the Australian version
<v Speaker 2>of this episode, which is slightly different in this spot,
<v Speaker 2>and here's how the goodbye went.
<v Speaker 1>Goodbye Bye the Milk. It was so beautiful that was distop.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, can you just stop.
<v Speaker 2>I know you guys can't see it because it's an
<v Speaker 2>audio podcast, but you can guess what that sound was. Henry,
<v Speaker 2>what did you think when you saw that?
<v Speaker 3>I thought that it was pretty gross but funny.
<v Speaker 2>Oh, it was definitely funny. Oh my gosh. Yeah, we
<v Speaker 2>missed that in the Disney Plus version, but I'm sure
<v Speaker 2>glad we got to see it here. The next thing
<v Speaker 2>we see is Bandit running towards a booth yelling something. Henry,
<v Speaker 2>what is he yelling?
<v Speaker 3>He is yelling German sausage.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, he and Bingo want to get some German sausages,
<v Speaker 2>and Bluey thinks maybe she wants to get one too.
<v Speaker 2>She says she wants a German sausage and something. Henry,
<v Speaker 2>what did she want on it?
<v Speaker 3>She wants squirty sauce.
<v Speaker 2>Which was probably ketchup? You think probably? Andy said she
<v Speaker 2>can't have German sausages. Why was that?
<v Speaker 3>She can't have the sausage or any of the sausage
<v Speaker 3>because of additives.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, she's not allowed to have those things. Her mom
<v Speaker 2>doesn't let her. They probably eat more organic foods, which
<v Speaker 2>good on them, right. They hear somebody calling out another
<v Speaker 2>delectable treat. Stella, what was it?
<v Speaker 3>Someone was selling poffdgies.
<v Speaker 2>We get a little bit better. Look at what Indy
<v Speaker 2>can and can't have?
<v Speaker 1>Have these continued weak sugar glitchenor Darian them that's all.
<v Speaker 2>They've got him? Then a, Yeah, it looks like Andy's
<v Speaker 2>out of luck there. But Stella, what does blue see next?
<v Speaker 3>She sees someone with a toffee apple. But the toffee
<v Speaker 3>apple it's the last one that he has.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, And there's something about seeing where it's the last
<v Speaker 2>one that makes you think, oh man, they must be
<v Speaker 2>so good. I really need to get that. But can
<v Speaker 2>Indy have that?
<v Speaker 3>No?
<v Speaker 2>She can't, Yeah, because it has sugar in it. Bluey
<v Speaker 2>goes ahead and gets the toffee apple and they head
<v Speaker 2>over to where Banda and Bengo are. What's happening over there.
<v Speaker 4>Amanda, Banda and Bingo are sitting at a table quite
<v Speaker 4>happily enjoying their German sausages. We can see Bingo has
<v Speaker 4>ketchup all over her face. She's really loving that German sausage.
<v Speaker 4>But they're sitting at a table listening to a musician play.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah. We see a guy playing guitar standing on a
<v Speaker 2>microphone and he is played by Joff Bush, who is
<v Speaker 2>the musical director of the series, which is so cool
<v Speaker 2>that he got to be a voice in the show
<v Speaker 2>since he's doing all the music. That was really neat.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, that is really cool.
<v Speaker 2>He plays a song and a little kid comes up
<v Speaker 2>to put money in the guitar case. Thanks, buddy, that's
<v Speaker 2>a song. I think that scared that kid, don't you
<v Speaker 2>a little bit? Yeah? Just a little Bluey regrets buying
<v Speaker 2>the toffee apple. She's not sure if she likes it,
<v Speaker 2>and Andy can't have any and she wants to get
<v Speaker 2>her money back and put it in the guitar player's
<v Speaker 2>guitar case and bandit explained to her how the world works.
<v Speaker 1>Can I get my flat bucks back?
<v Speaker 2>That's not really how it works, kiddo.
<v Speaker 1>Once you've spent money, it's well gone. Oh okay.
<v Speaker 2>In the meanwhile, we see a chain of events begin
<v Speaker 2>to unfold. Amanda. What happens.
<v Speaker 4>Wynton's dad sends him over to buy him a German sausage.
<v Speaker 2>On his way past, we see Andy's mom and she
<v Speaker 2>is super into what the guitar players do and she's
<v Speaker 2>dancing listening to the music, and Winton gets to the
<v Speaker 2>booth to get the German sausage, and the man sends
<v Speaker 2>his son to go get some carrot juice. Henry, what
<v Speaker 2>was the son's name?
<v Speaker 3>His name was Gruber.
<v Speaker 2>Do you remember when we talked about this three years
<v Speaker 2>ago the sausage guy's kid's name was Gruber.
<v Speaker 3>Gruber sounds like a blugger.
<v Speaker 2>Geez, okay, let's not have any more of that stella.
<v Speaker 2>When Gruber takes off to go get carrot juice, what happens?
<v Speaker 3>He gets to the stand and pays, but there are
<v Speaker 3>no more carrots at the stand, So the lady running
<v Speaker 3>it sends her kid to go and get some carrots
<v Speaker 3>from a different seller. After she gets the carrots, Honey's
<v Speaker 3>mom comes up and buys some fruit or vegetables there,
<v Speaker 3>and she gets that five dollar bill back because she
<v Speaker 3>paid with the ten I'm guessing, And she goes and
<v Speaker 3>buys a cake from Indy's mom with that five dollar bill,
<v Speaker 3>And then Indy comes over and Indy's mom gives her
<v Speaker 3>that five dollar bill so they can go and give
<v Speaker 3>it to the guitar player.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, Bluie's money came back around, and she could tell because.
<v Speaker 3>She could tell because it had the sticker on it.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, it had the special sticker and she wanted to
<v Speaker 2>put it in the guitar case. And now it gets
<v Speaker 2>to go in there, and the guitar player was super
<v Speaker 2>happy about that. What fie fucks? Thanks, mate, that's just
<v Speaker 2>doesn't of a saw who liked to dance?
<v Speaker 1>Two?
<v Speaker 2>Three, four, Amanda, everybody's out there dancing. What dance are
<v Speaker 2>they doing?
<v Speaker 4>They are doing the floss yep.
<v Speaker 2>All of them, including bandit. It was awesome to see
<v Speaker 2>them all doing the same thing. He was holding the
<v Speaker 2>toffee apple but didn't eat any of it, and then
<v Speaker 2>we cut to them on the way home. What happens?
<v Speaker 4>Bluey decides that she likes the toffee apple, so she
<v Speaker 4>starts eating it on the way home, and once she
<v Speaker 4>takes a bite, she looks at the apple. Well, guess
<v Speaker 4>what she lost? Another tooth.
<v Speaker 2>Doesn't have a right And that was the episode. Henry,
<v Speaker 2>did we forget anything?
<v Speaker 4>Nope?
<v Speaker 3>I don't think so.
<v Speaker 2>Well, you know what it's time for Did we learn
<v Speaker 2>anything today? Before we talk about what we learned today,
<v Speaker 2>I would like to go back to the episode we
<v Speaker 2>did three years ago, the first time we saw this
<v Speaker 2>and see what we thought the lesson was Amanda, what
<v Speaker 2>were we supposed to learn in this episode?

<v Speaker 2>Yeah, you do have a point. That was one one

<v Speaker 2>Uh, well, what I think you guys?
<v Speaker 3>What Henry, You're just a baby in that?
<v Speaker 4>What the heck? Oh my gosh, you guys sounded so little.
<v Speaker 4>They do sound so little. They were just babies.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, and it wasn't that long ago, like three and
<v Speaker 2>a half years, right, Yeah, something like that. Oh what
<v Speaker 2>did you guys think about hearing yourselves?
<v Speaker 3>I was kind of surprised that that was my voice
<v Speaker 3>because my voice has changed a lot for me, So yeah,
<v Speaker 3>I was just a little surprised that that was me.
<v Speaker 3>It's crazy to think that I sounded that little when
<v Speaker 3>we started the podcast.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, that episode came out February fourteenth, twenty twenty three. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>that was just a little over three years ago. That
<v Speaker 2>is wild. But let's talk about today. Can anybody tell
<v Speaker 2>us what did you learn today?
<v Speaker 3>I think that the lesson is that whenever you're spending money,
<v Speaker 3>that you should try to think about what you're spending
<v Speaker 3>it on and just try to spend your money wisely.
<v Speaker 3>I agree with Sotill on this one. That's exactly what
<v Speaker 3>I was going to say.
<v Speaker 4>Honestly, I was going to say the same thing. And
<v Speaker 4>I think it's harder for little kids. When you have
<v Speaker 4>money like burning a hole in your pocket and you
<v Speaker 4>want to spend it on something. You see so many
<v Speaker 4>things that you want. You just got to really take
<v Speaker 4>a step back and think about what it is you
<v Speaker 4>just really really want. We can't just go and just
<v Speaker 4>spend it on just the first thing that we see,
<v Speaker 4>because you know you might regret it. And we do
<v Speaker 4>that as adults as well. You know, if you have
<v Speaker 4>some extra money and you really want to buy something,
<v Speaker 4>you just got to take a step back and think
<v Speaker 4>about it, make sure you're making the right decision.
<v Speaker 2>I agree, it is really tough, and when you're at
<v Speaker 2>some place like the markets, where there's a little bit
<v Speaker 2>to everything, it's really easy to get sidetracked by the
<v Speaker 2>first shiny thing. When your little five dollars seems like
<v Speaker 2>a fortune until you realize how expensive things are. I
<v Speaker 2>was shocked to find that a toffee apple was five bucks.
<v Speaker 2>That seems excessive.
<v Speaker 4>That seemed like a lot to me too.
<v Speaker 2>I mean, if it was a fried twinkie, then maybe
<v Speaker 2>we could talk. But for a toffee apple, and I
<v Speaker 2>like toffee apples, but they're no fried twinkie. If you've
<v Speaker 2>not had a fried twinkie, you gotta try one. It's
<v Speaker 2>pretty special.
<v Speaker 1>I've had.
<v Speaker 4>It's not terrible.
<v Speaker 2>It's like a corn dog, except inside is a twinkie dogs.
<v Speaker 2>There are a couple things that weren't necessarily lessons, but
<v Speaker 2>I do want to touch on them. Since Bluey's a
<v Speaker 2>little kid, I think it might have been helpful if
<v Speaker 2>her parents had given her a little more direction and
<v Speaker 2>assistance instead of just setting her loose. Because little kids
<v Speaker 2>don't understand the value of money. They don't realize that
<v Speaker 2>if they had one hundred dollars bill they would trade
<v Speaker 2>it for a candy bar and think that was great.
<v Speaker 2>They don't understand what they have, and so I think
<v Speaker 2>she could have used a little more direction. But the
<v Speaker 2>other thing I would say is that pony Lady, yes,
<v Speaker 2>I'm back on the pony lady. Pony lady, you could
<v Speaker 2>have let both of those girls ride that pony for
<v Speaker 2>the single five dollars, especially when you saw what a
<v Speaker 2>good friend Blue was being. Because I also want to
<v Speaker 2>point out there wasn't a line of people knocking down
<v Speaker 2>her door for the pony rides.
<v Speaker 4>That's true. Five dollars is better than no dollars exactly.
<v Speaker 4>She could have let Indy get up there too, And.
<v Speaker 2>It's not like that pony is going to go complain
<v Speaker 2>to somebody that they let two kids ride me for
<v Speaker 2>only five dollars. I've got words to say right. One
<v Speaker 2>other lesson I would say is what happened with that
<v Speaker 2>pony when they left was super funny and it should
<v Speaker 2>have been in the one on Disney Plus. I understand
<v Speaker 2>why they don't show that. It's for yes, it's to
<v Speaker 2>maintain the TV rating, but oh, man, come on, that
<v Speaker 2>was gold brown gold.
<v Speaker 4>Oh my gosh, no you didn't.
<v Speaker 2>Does anyone have any parting thoughts about the episode?
<v Speaker 3>I found it funny when the pony pooped.
<v Speaker 2>Well, I think most of us in here did. One
<v Speaker 2>of us in this room claims she's a little too
<v Speaker 2>high browed. To fine humor. I don't think you are.
<v Speaker 4>I am, no, you're not. I liked this episode because
<v Speaker 4>of how sweet Bluey she was trying to be by
<v Speaker 4>including Indie and her purchase. But yeah, we see how
<v Speaker 4>that worked out in the end.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, that was a tricky one.
<v Speaker 4>It was, and it looked like you said earlier. You know,
<v Speaker 4>it's hard for little kids when they had that money
<v Speaker 4>to spend, but her heart was in the right place.
<v Speaker 3>I like how they had like the music producer as
<v Speaker 3>a character in this episode. I thought that was cool.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, that was really neat. I really like Josh Bush
<v Speaker 2>and I'm glad he got to do this.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, that was pretty cool.
<v Speaker 2>One thing about this episode, and I don't know if
<v Speaker 2>I've mentioned this before, but that pony lady not given
<v Speaker 2>Oh hang on, I already said.
<v Speaker 4>That, enough with the pony lady, let's move on.
<v Speaker 2>This was a lot of fun, and I did like
<v Speaker 2>how blue was being to her friend and the thing
<v Speaker 2>with Indy and her dietary restrictions. That's pretty tough to
<v Speaker 2>find your way through something like a farmer's market like
<v Speaker 2>that and figure out what you can and can't have.
<v Speaker 2>And the fact that she was willing to stick to
<v Speaker 2>that and not try to go against her mom's wishes
<v Speaker 2>behind her back. I thought that was pretty commendable.
<v Speaker 4>It definitely was. She was being such a good girl.
<v Speaker 2>I also realized that even though we just ate the
<v Speaker 2>German sausages all the sweets, it makes me want to
<v Speaker 2>have some, So man, good job animation team on this.
<v Speaker 2>This episode was heaps of fun. I love Bandit's take
<v Speaker 2>on the whole thing with the five dollars and man,
<v Speaker 2>oh man, I get it. Well, guys, we think Bluie
<v Speaker 2>is awesome. And speaking of things that we think are awesome, Henry,
