[SPEAKER_00]: Welcome to the Forty Kaylor cast. [SPEAKER_01]: Welcome to Forty K. Lorcast with me, John Barsati, and of course Brad Chester. [SPEAKER_00]: This guy. [SPEAKER_01]: All right, so Brad. [SPEAKER_01]: Heresy is written. [SPEAKER_01]: Where are we today? [SPEAKER_00]: We've got Horace fully corrupted determined to do anything for the greater good. [SPEAKER_00]: He's going to do any bad act betraying his brothers is now okay. [SPEAKER_00]: We've got three horse plus three. [SPEAKER_01]: So Horace plus three. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: They're plotting on how they're going to hit more, but they're also plotting on how they're going to get rid of anybody that's not loyal to him, specifically in the legions. [SPEAKER_00]: So effectively, he only wants the people that are corrupted, but it's more of the people that are only willing to do anything that their primary says. [SPEAKER_00]: He wants to weed it out to have only the most fanatical because they're going to do some bad shit and they're going to really rationalize the crap out of it. [SPEAKER_00]: They're basically saying, well, we have to do this horrible thing. [SPEAKER_00]: And then we're going to do the next horrible thing. [SPEAKER_00]: And they got to have people that are willing to rationalize their terrible behaviors or in the case of the world leaders. [SPEAKER_00]: Just tell them to do stuff because they were already going to do some terrible show. [SPEAKER_01]: The old leaders are going to world leader. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: They were, we want you to do this. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, that's too fly. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, you already doing it. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Do you want any direction? [SPEAKER_00]: No, no, you're all cool. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, come on. [SPEAKER_00]: You guys are going to murder people already. [SPEAKER_00]: Cool. [SPEAKER_01]: So we're going to start here with [SPEAKER_01]: East Von VIII. [SPEAKER_01]: This is, I was just talking about. [SPEAKER_01]: Horace has, as it needs to purge his legions. [SPEAKER_01]: We've got a certain number of, so the one interesting thing about this is that the legions come from multiple places originally. [SPEAKER_01]: Once the primarks were discovered, and they began conquering plants, they built their own little sections of the galaxy that their space marines would come from. [SPEAKER_01]: But initially, a lot of them actually came from terror. [SPEAKER_01]: A lot of them were actually, the ember found them. [SPEAKER_01]: infused them with the primarx gene seed and then made them part of the legion. [SPEAKER_01]: Those soldiers are exceptionally loyal to the emperor and terror. [SPEAKER_01]: So we got a little bit of a challenge here. [SPEAKER_01]: So as Horus or as Fulgram or Mortarian, I've gotten, as a leader, I have to get these guys out of my arm. [SPEAKER_01]: Because if I go and say, I'm going to go attack the empire, then all of a sudden, like the captain, one of my spaceships might not be loyal to me. [SPEAKER_01]: And he might fly this spaceship into the sun, or [SPEAKER_00]: worn down or worse. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: Go back and worn dad or be a ship that I have to even best case scenario. [SPEAKER_00]: Be a ship that I have to fight now. [SPEAKER_01]: So what Horace realizes is that he's got a clever plan. [SPEAKER_01]: He does this a lot and really Horace is one of the better tacticians in the stories of Forty Kay. [SPEAKER_01]: I think Gillibon's better, but more so as Gillibon shows up. [SPEAKER_00]: He's beer on it. [SPEAKER_00]: But he's also beer. [SPEAKER_01]: What he decides to do is that this worldist Von III, he tells everyone is in rebellion against him. [SPEAKER_00]: Which, by the way, the instrument system is going to be bad news, but yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: So, I mean, Brad's we put, was this Von III in rebellion to the Emperor? [SPEAKER_01]: Absolutely not. [SPEAKER_01]: What he does is he said we're going to attack it and then handpicks who's going down. [SPEAKER_01]: And it is all of the, what we'll begin a little referring to now is the loyalists. [SPEAKER_00]: And the boil list of certain things is that in this, though, there is members of the lodges. [SPEAKER_00]: They go down there and they kind of start figuring out, hey, man, everybody's been acting real funky lately. [SPEAKER_00]: And they start figuring out, hey, I've been really ostracized by the guys that used to be my closest of my brothers. [SPEAKER_00]: We never had anything. [SPEAKER_00]: We shared everything. [SPEAKER_00]: And all of a sudden, I'm not invited or there was a meeting and weirdly enough, I didn't get to go to that one. [SPEAKER_00]: And now I'm going on this very fishy [SPEAKER_01]: exhibition to go kill a populist but they do it and they go down there and they slaughter the people of this fun and kill because they did not have defense there's no defenses they didn't know they were coming and they also were like we didn't go anything wrong what's happening so they begin fighting through and this is the moment and now [SPEAKER_01]: Just as they win, the poorest decides to eliminate all of his opposition from orbit with. [SPEAKER_00]: Fire's bomb. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, he basically sends down Nuke's plus. [SPEAKER_01]: the world leader by this. [SPEAKER_00]: It legitimately kills all organic, yes, on the planet. [SPEAKER_00]: It's to, it's when you want to use the planet later and you've got terraforming, so you don't care. [SPEAKER_00]: And you just want to make sure nobody's left there. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, it melts all of your organic matter in terms of nothing, which it then lights on fire. [SPEAKER_01]: And so you get it is this thing. [SPEAKER_01]: First, every living thing dies, and then the entire planet explodes into a ball of fire. [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, that's not optimum. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, it's it's efficient. [SPEAKER_01]: But now we're in one of the cooler parts of the story, which is as with all good stories, the good guys have a play. [SPEAKER_01]: And so two players here, Salt Harvits and Darrell. [SPEAKER_01]: So, tarvots is from emperor's children, so phlegms army, the perfectionist, the avatis, the vain one, the vain one. [SPEAKER_01]: And Garo is from deathguard, so mortarians army. [SPEAKER_01]: And I believe, Garo at that belief had, well, I believe. [SPEAKER_01]: Garo was a loyalist, but couldn't be sent down, because he had to get a cybernetic implant in his leg. [SPEAKER_00]: And he finds out, kind of by chance to be perfectly honest. [SPEAKER_00]: He had some pretty big plot armor in this book, actually, but Garo is cool. [SPEAKER_00]: Garo is fantastic because Garo has as well as a lot of the deathguard. [SPEAKER_00]: They have a very straight moral code of what they want to do because of the fact that, more Terry and originally, [SPEAKER_00]: was came from a planet that had tyrannical rulers. [SPEAKER_00]: So he was very against the bully, the tyrant. [SPEAKER_00]: So he taught his legion to be against that, which he was very, very big. [SPEAKER_00]: I, to be honest with you, I can believe in his first name, I just know he's gone. [SPEAKER_01]: So Nathaniel Garl and Tarbit. [SPEAKER_01]: So these two actually together, their friends. [SPEAKER_00]: And so even though they're from different legions with the legions used to fight together all the time, I don't know if we've done a good enough job about that. [SPEAKER_00]: And I apologize for that. [SPEAKER_00]: But the legions consistently were doing joint operations. [SPEAKER_01]: all the time when this was the because it was the purpose is why the emperor made them with different positive attributes so each of them excelled in different areas and it was designed not to make them all independent bodies but actually make it so whatever we're fighting if we if we have to go fight someone who's got very good defenses you know we're gonna [SPEAKER_01]: bring the iron warriors. [SPEAKER_01]: If we have someone who just has a lot of bodies, we have to get through it. [SPEAKER_01]: We're bringing an angron, but usually you wouldn't just have one, you'd have multiple. [SPEAKER_01]: So maybe we would bring the iron warriors to break the defenses, then angron to go through it and do the pieces. [SPEAKER_01]: This is how these guys all fall. [SPEAKER_01]: The deathguard were a really cool army because they were very controlled. [SPEAKER_01]: They moved, infiltrated, authentically, and methodically moved forward. [SPEAKER_01]: They would take land, conquer land. [SPEAKER_01]: And you could imagine partnering them with some like an emperor's children who a perfectionist had artillery and all these things, or you partner them up with the blood angels, whoever to make a combo that's to mind it. [SPEAKER_01]: It's to mind our forces. [SPEAKER_01]: It's unbeatable. [SPEAKER_01]: these two tarvots and garot discover not only kind of into rather a whirlwind of events discover a chaos exists kind of so our primarx who in worshiping have turned against the emperor they want to kill the emperor and but before they want to kill a bunch of our brothers on a fake mission down on this planet well it'd be you can make the emotional impact right though [SPEAKER_00]: your dad, you just found is on his way upstairs to shoot you. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: And you're not a hundred percent sure why, but you just found out he also did a whole bunch of bad things before he's coming upstairs to do that. [SPEAKER_01]: This is coming. [SPEAKER_01]: And so these two [SPEAKER_01]: the hero thing and they go and they effectively take a ship. [SPEAKER_01]: And I heard a ship. [SPEAKER_01]: I honestly I read the book a couple times and I'm gonna in my head kept calling the Einstein and then I was when I read the search and realized I missed an S. It is the Einstein. [SPEAKER_01]: It's the Einstein. [SPEAKER_01]: It's the Einstein. [SPEAKER_01]: It's the Einstein. [SPEAKER_01]: So they steal the Einstein. [SPEAKER_01]: One thing that Horace had done and the people down the surface thought was odd was there was no communication with the spaceships. [SPEAKER_01]: All of these soldiers fighting down the surface [SPEAKER_01]: It was dead air going up. [SPEAKER_01]: So they assumed that there was Ray, you'll blockage whatever it was. [SPEAKER_01]: It wasn't. [SPEAKER_01]: It was actually Horace just wasn't telling them anything and letting them fight. [SPEAKER_00]: They were also busy murdering all the loyal ship crew, the actual regular humans, the non-marines. [SPEAKER_00]: And they were effectively throwing these guys in a wood shepherd. [SPEAKER_00]: That's pretty much what was happening. [SPEAKER_01]: So they decide to tarvots and garrow grab this ice and sign and they fly it out of the surface and they just broadcast the message. [SPEAKER_01]: Open frequency because that's a thing inside. [SPEAKER_00]: The other members. [SPEAKER_00]: Garvin's also down there. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh yeah, we'll get the Garvin here. [SPEAKER_01]: But they send us burgers that they're ready to say, hey, you're about to be attacked effectively. [SPEAKER_01]: Take cover. [SPEAKER_01]: Take cover. [SPEAKER_00]: You're not going to be attacked. [SPEAKER_00]: They're virus bombing was called the planet. [SPEAKER_00]: You need to get underground, not just underground. [SPEAKER_00]: You need to get underground in a shelter that can withstand a nuclear, again, nuclear blast plus one. [SPEAKER_01]: So they fly through this message goes out and actually a lot of the space and rings do hear it. [SPEAKER_01]: And they do take shelter. [SPEAKER_01]: And then the eyes and starting decides to take off and fly back there. [SPEAKER_01]: We're going to do it. [SPEAKER_01]: We're going to do that. [SPEAKER_01]: They're going to second place. [SPEAKER_00]: I'll be playing it though. [SPEAKER_00]: The biggest things because they have some big fights down there. [SPEAKER_00]: They have actual cast and few things down there. [SPEAKER_00]: This is why they get what is cast, why am I being attacked by a tentacle monster? [SPEAKER_00]: Because there was cast spawn and all these, there was a bunch of slenetions used things down there from the emperors children. [SPEAKER_00]: There's a bunch of things that they're fighting and they've never seen before, which is all this cast off. [SPEAKER_00]: And also while you're battling this thing you've never seen before, you're one of your brothers goes, hey, they're virus bombing the planet. [SPEAKER_00]: So you've got some serious, it's not a great day. [SPEAKER_00]: It's not the best day you've ever had. [SPEAKER_01]: Duck. [SPEAKER_01]: So the good news is for the good guys is the Space Marines are playing do take cover. [SPEAKER_01]: They go, they're not all them, but a lot of them do. [SPEAKER_01]: And the ice and the Stein takes off towards Earth. [SPEAKER_01]: It gets horribly beat up. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, we're gonna get it. [SPEAKER_01]: We are not. [SPEAKER_01]: I am not going to do a cast on this and not. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it's a full book. [SPEAKER_01]: They're the whole book on it. [SPEAKER_01]: We're going to do it. [SPEAKER_01]: He played of the Einstein is a novel. [SPEAKER_01]: Very good book at that. [SPEAKER_01]: So we're going to spend some time on this for a lot of very good reasons. [SPEAKER_01]: So they blow up then. [SPEAKER_01]: Angron. [SPEAKER_01]: Horace realizes that his bombing campaign of his loyalist brother and doesn't go quite the plan. [SPEAKER_01]: The bunch of them alive. [SPEAKER_00]: In fact, then I'm just a little bit. [SPEAKER_00]: Angron was already mad because he wasn't personally allowed to kill everyone in the planet. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Angron's plan was so that Horace's plan was we should preserve our soldiers. [SPEAKER_01]: We'll trick the loyalist. [SPEAKER_01]: We'll go down there. [SPEAKER_01]: They'll fight a bunch of people. [SPEAKER_01]: They'll die during that. [SPEAKER_01]: They will bomb. [SPEAKER_01]: You know what I mean? [SPEAKER_01]: You just let me go on there and kill each other one by one. [SPEAKER_00]: I'll punch everybody in the face individually. [SPEAKER_00]: Also, never when we said Horace brilliant tactician, no one's really ever said that about anger. [SPEAKER_01]: Your own tactician is I am here and I'm going there and everything between here and there, I'm going to hit for the chainsaw. [SPEAKER_01]: This is really a little moment, but this story may not seem important right now, but it speaks to kind of stuff we're going to cover later about some of the challenges that the trader legions had. [SPEAKER_01]: And this is an anger on to good example of it. [SPEAKER_01]: So Horace's plan has gone partially to plan, but it's not all the way there. [SPEAKER_01]: There are still loyalists who were alive on the surface. [SPEAKER_01]: So what you would normally do in this situation is bomb it again. [SPEAKER_00]: Weath them out. [SPEAKER_00]: They have nowhere to go. [SPEAKER_00]: No way. [SPEAKER_01]: No way. [SPEAKER_01]: They're in a legitimate underground bunker. [SPEAKER_01]: So just bomb it again. [SPEAKER_01]: Or if you're anger on, grab a bunch of leachens and drop pods and launch yourself down there with all of your got the fifty companies and just go kill the survivors hand to hand. [SPEAKER_00]: on a planet that's currently on fire. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, again, if they ever make cinematics of the show, this one's got some potential for them. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: It's going to look pretty good. [SPEAKER_00]: We're at it. [SPEAKER_00]: This CGI budget's going to be pretty high. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: This is going to be cool looking. [SPEAKER_01]: So they launched down and now, I mean, everyone goes, all the people follow. [SPEAKER_01]: He's not alone in this one. [SPEAKER_01]: And they begin fighting and killing the loyalists and the lawyers or fighting back. [SPEAKER_01]: It's effectively coming to hand-to-hand combat because the Brad's point, the way don't fire. [SPEAKER_00]: Like there's no fire in everybody's, there's rubble. [SPEAKER_00]: It's just destroyed everything. [SPEAKER_00]: On the world's on fire, everything's destroyed. [SPEAKER_00]: You were literally fighting guys as you find them because you jumped over a destroyed building into a wall. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, there's fifty guys standing right there. [SPEAKER_00]: So go time. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, exactly. [SPEAKER_01]: And I think that's one thing I thought we could cover here is a fun little side story. [SPEAKER_01]: I think it's an important, but it's quite as luscious. [SPEAKER_00]: Also, good at Warhammer plus he is as a fantastic cartoon on there right now. [SPEAKER_01]: Lucius is a fun side story and a good example of the corruption of chaos. [SPEAKER_01]: So Lucius is a champion in every show. [SPEAKER_00]: He's a he's a dualist. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: He's an actual [SPEAKER_00]: before he came completely into chaos, he was a wildly overconfident duelist that got ruined by multiple people. [SPEAKER_00]: The reason he gets corrupted is because he suffered back to back losses when he hadn't been losing ever before. [SPEAKER_00]: And they basically went, we will make it so you know, losing tomorrow. [SPEAKER_00]: He was like, gone, done. [SPEAKER_00]: You have to stab all ladies in the face. [SPEAKER_01]: He's like, yeah, I don't care at all. [SPEAKER_01]: The Lucius was interesting one because he was sent down with the loyalists because he was friends with a lot of the loyalists. [SPEAKER_01]: And they, and Fulgram didn't think he could trust him. [SPEAKER_01]: And so he was sent down there to go die. [SPEAKER_01]: And while down there, he survived the virus bomb. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: He also does not do good with all the people of Syriva. [SPEAKER_01]: And turn. [SPEAKER_01]: So he actually turns wallets there. [SPEAKER_01]: And I like this story a lot because we talk about the way that these people were being corrupted. [SPEAKER_01]: This was an individual corruption. [SPEAKER_01]: It wasn't this thing of there was no mind control here. [SPEAKER_01]: Each space marine who joined the traders joined the traders will also a lot of these people. [SPEAKER_00]: Lucius included the cast gods are [SPEAKER_00]: persuasive. [SPEAKER_00]: They are in cities. [SPEAKER_00]: They individually corrupt a lot of these people. [SPEAKER_00]: This isn't a full-groom overall plan. [SPEAKER_00]: This is the chance, God's individually going to each person and going, what is the thing you most want? [SPEAKER_00]: He most wanted to be the best. [SPEAKER_00]: I want to be the best hand-a-hand dulyst of all time amongst all my brothers and they went, cool, got it. [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, he technically has never lost ever again. [SPEAKER_01]: The reason the Lucius though is interesting is that Lucius is standing with the loyalists, preparing for this attack by the traders. [SPEAKER_01]: And the loyalists, all of a sudden out of nowhere, Lucius explodes and attacks from the inside. [SPEAKER_01]: So not only did they get betrayed once, but if you happen to be near Lucius, you got betrayed twice. [SPEAKER_00]: The best swordsmen you know has just decided to start cutting people down. [SPEAKER_01]: And he just cuts and cuts and cuts. [SPEAKER_01]: Eventually, this all results in Horace does kill the rest. [SPEAKER_01]: He is able to convince Angron to leave. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, because they were one, they get buried beneath rubble and everything else. [SPEAKER_00]: They accidentally don't kill people, but mainly because of building fell on that. [SPEAKER_01]: And it couldn't get them, but he bombs him again from space. [SPEAKER_01]: He does eventually do what he wanted to do, which is bomb them again from space. [SPEAKER_01]: So the other thing that's kind of cool about this is that we're now talking about, uh, thousands, tens of thousands of died all at once. [SPEAKER_01]: And a virus, you know, sorry, the virus bomb billions, but as you trillions of died, an entire planet has suddenly died. [SPEAKER_01]: What this does, which actually helps Horace out, is it actually makes the warp unstable, which they have red can twice. [SPEAKER_00]: Let's not just go with what my favorite there is is what the the cascads are helping chorus out by making the work and stable that is not the full cannon, but it makes the most sense is that if anytime right now the emperor finds out what's actually happening. [SPEAKER_00]: He signals the rest of his brothers, stops the corruption, stops what's happening. [SPEAKER_00]: And none of this goes down. [SPEAKER_01]: I took it as the that level of death violence, because the virus is going to is going to feed Nurgle because it's played. [SPEAKER_01]: It's both horned from the violence. [SPEAKER_00]: But I'm saying, my thing, my take, and you can take this anything, but that's the problem is we've had multiple stories about why, because this is, again, forty years in the making of the same story that's been added on. [SPEAKER_00]: So this is, I agree with what you just said, and also what I just said, because everyone's right. [SPEAKER_00]: It powers you, it powers them up to do what I was saying, but like the sheer body count in the first place. [SPEAKER_00]: can do all this stuff. [SPEAKER_01]: Exactly. [SPEAKER_01]: And I think what happens, it's to make this important is that this now clouds the warp. [SPEAKER_00]: And so this and well, that's the biggest thing is that they can't, again, if there's real communication, all of this goes down right now. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, immediately the emperor is aware, there has been a revolution ending. [SPEAKER_01]: Horace is done. [SPEAKER_01]: So now Horace is actually shielded. [SPEAKER_01]: No one knows this is happening. [SPEAKER_01]: If you want to go tell the Emperor that Horace turned on him, you have to go physically tell the Emperor. [SPEAKER_00]: But you also have to find out that it's happening. [SPEAKER_01]: You could try and pierce through the the psychic barrier around him and then. [SPEAKER_00]: Good job, Magnus. [SPEAKER_00]: But also, this leads us to, well, I guess we do, we do be flight before us to drop some mascara because it's actually happened before. [SPEAKER_01]: So that's true. [SPEAKER_01]: So going back to a documentary earlier with Gero and the loyalists on the on the Eisenstein now they have they have come out of [SPEAKER_01]: It's fun free and they try sending a message to Earth. [SPEAKER_01]: I just doesn't go anywhere. [SPEAKER_01]: They realize pretty quickly. [SPEAKER_01]: That's not going to work and they need to go. [SPEAKER_01]: They all, so at this point, have to deal with a little problem on their ship in that they come and did this ship, but unlike Horace, they didn't do a little like stat check on everyone on board. [SPEAKER_01]: You guys are with us, right? [SPEAKER_01]: Yes, so about half the ship's not. [SPEAKER_01]: So he's actually, they're all of spaceship in a war zone, wherever one's pissed off, and half of spaceship is traitors. [SPEAKER_00]: So there's an issue here. [SPEAKER_00]: They're not even, but we had backed that up. [SPEAKER_00]: They're traitors that think that they are loyal. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's true. [SPEAKER_00]: It's now, that is, you know, remember, that's the narrative. [SPEAKER_00]: By versus Spice. [SPEAKER_00]: What's the narrative? [SPEAKER_00]: Is that? [SPEAKER_00]: We are actually the ones fighting for our fellow brothers. [SPEAKER_00]: You were the one fighting against it. [SPEAKER_01]: So on this ship, they get attacked by the other half of the ship effectively. [SPEAKER_01]: Their astropath actually gets killed. [SPEAKER_00]: And that's why they can't get back to the town. [SPEAKER_01]: They have a whole fight and it's giant fight breaks out within the ship. [SPEAKER_01]: And we should about this ship's not static. [SPEAKER_01]: This ship is moving. [SPEAKER_01]: It's moving towards like, through atmosphere, doing all this stuff. [SPEAKER_01]: So this story would look like happens in, I don't know, five minutes, six minutes of absolute chaos. [SPEAKER_01]: We'll be right back after a quick break. [SPEAKER_00]: The battle breaks out. [SPEAKER_00]: I literally turned away from my microphone for this. [SPEAKER_00]: I love that we set up a bomb on the ship. [SPEAKER_00]: And the next line that John put up is super good idea. [SPEAKER_01]: Always going to have your gun fight around the world eater bombs. [SPEAKER_01]: It's like if you want to dock for a cover, nothing quite like a giant thing of TNT to hide behind. [SPEAKER_01]: So they're having their fight and eventually the fight ends up in the bombing day because again, that's where you go to fight. [SPEAKER_01]: And a stray bolter bullet, again, I promise you if you read the books, most of them are good. [SPEAKER_01]: Some of them are kind of like, come on man, it's just lame. [SPEAKER_01]: But anyway, all of the traders happen to be in the bomber bay, fighting the loyalists, and someone shoots the propane tank, which starts with a whizzing sound, and the one hero jumps on the airlock and hits it, and closes it, and everybody goes, and everyone gets killed by the virus, either bomb, and the ship is able to move on. [SPEAKER_01]: We're not done yet because now they enter orbit. [SPEAKER_01]: And once they're up in orbit, the terminus S. Battle Cruiser, which is Typhus's chip. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so the more terrians got a right hand man named Typhus. [SPEAKER_00]: who is actually more down with NERGLE than more Terry. [SPEAKER_01]: And so so much more typists. [SPEAKER_01]: It was all in on this one, typists is typists. [SPEAKER_00]: For some other reason, typists win Lord of decay. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm in. [SPEAKER_00]: Everybody else had to be tricked. [SPEAKER_00]: He was like, this sounds great. [SPEAKER_01]: It's fun. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm just doing this now. [SPEAKER_01]: So they now on their [SPEAKER_01]: You know, I mean, again, it's not a tiny ship that eyes in the Stein, but compared to Battle Cruiser, he could dock this ship. [SPEAKER_01]: This is a Star Destroyer versus the Millennium Falcon, but it's a slower Millennium Falcon, and not as cool. [SPEAKER_01]: But so they now come out and immediately, Typhus just starts shooting. [SPEAKER_01]: And this is where blowing this thing out of the sky. [SPEAKER_00]: And they take catastrophic damage. [SPEAKER_01]: They barely, they do the whole, you know, jump to work. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't care where they win in a random direction. [SPEAKER_01]: Boom, get me into the war. [SPEAKER_00]: They also have no one to guide them. [SPEAKER_01]: They just went, we're going to go that way. [SPEAKER_01]: and into the warp. [SPEAKER_01]: They jump into the warp and they're in the warp. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, is it rudderless directionless moving? [SPEAKER_01]: But more importantly, their Gellerfield has failed. [SPEAKER_01]: Yep. [SPEAKER_01]: And the Emperor did not tell anyone what's in the warp. [SPEAKER_01]: So these guys are in the warp and they're getting told where our Gellerfield is down. [SPEAKER_01]: And they go, so, Brad, why is it bad when a Gellerfield is down? [SPEAKER_00]: Because the demons have free raid inside your space now. [SPEAKER_00]: That used to be your private space. [SPEAKER_00]: It is now the very public space and the public is real shitty. [SPEAKER_01]: So now we're starting to see and this is kind of where the story gets really cool. [SPEAKER_01]: We start getting all these things that are commonplace and and forty and what we would call forty. [SPEAKER_01]: Okay, but now this is the first experience. [SPEAKER_01]: This is the first plague marines of here. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, they also made [SPEAKER_00]: If you've ever real played or you've ever written, get a wish from a genie or anything like that, always read the fine print, because while they're in the warp, they be a horrible routing disease. [SPEAKER_00]: And Nervole comes in and says, I can totally help you out. [SPEAKER_00]: And they go, I will do whatever it takes to not die from this disease. [SPEAKER_00]: And he goes, no problem. [SPEAKER_00]: You won't die from the disease. [SPEAKER_00]: And they don't. [SPEAKER_00]: The disease doesn't go away. [SPEAKER_00]: They just don't die from it. [SPEAKER_00]: They horribly suffer from the disease. [SPEAKER_00]: They continue to suffer from the disease, but they're effectively never going to die specifically from the disease. [SPEAKER_00]: And they can pass the disease on to others. [SPEAKER_00]: So they are this bloated [SPEAKER_00]: I can't even, I want to not undersell that. [SPEAKER_00]: They are such a bloated carcass inside their armor. [SPEAKER_00]: Imagine a suit of, they just power out. [SPEAKER_00]: But it is, you are so bloated, you're busting out. [SPEAKER_01]: Everyone's see if you've, if you've never seen, again, if you're new to Forty Kay, we've all seen a night in, in armor. [SPEAKER_01]: Imagine that armor bursting from the inside with like, postuels coming out of it. [SPEAKER_01]: Just a purple blue colors, everything. [SPEAKER_00]: with such force that it's busting out of futuristic, sealed space on it. [SPEAKER_00]: There's no in and out of anything. [SPEAKER_00]: You're blowing that out. [SPEAKER_01]: And by the way, you're also the thing about it is super angry. [SPEAKER_01]: So if you're not one of these things, that thing's common to kill you. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, you're not super excited that [SPEAKER_00]: one of your guys made a deal with a chaos entity. [SPEAKER_00]: And now you would like to die, but you can't. [SPEAKER_01]: And so now that thing is fighting you. [SPEAKER_01]: So Garo and the other loyalists are stuck on this ship. [SPEAKER_01]: fighting possessed space marines. [SPEAKER_01]: And they're losing the space marines. [SPEAKER_00]: It's a big thing on this. [SPEAKER_00]: You have a good note on this book. [SPEAKER_00]: I want to throw it. [SPEAKER_00]: They eventually realize that if they stay in the warp anymore, they have no chance. [SPEAKER_00]: Because this, the warp is actually fueling more and more and making them actually more powerful. [SPEAKER_01]: So I wrote down realizes his only chance is to leave, is to come out. [SPEAKER_01]: So they just drop out of the warp. [SPEAKER_00]: But they're also in the middle of no, no, no. [SPEAKER_00]: With a busted ship and a bunch of effectively, zombified, the name is homified there. [SPEAKER_00]: Just non-dying play. [SPEAKER_01]: These are guys invincible. [SPEAKER_01]: I would do that. [SPEAKER_01]: Effectively, yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: In principle, death warrior. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, you, they were literally in the books. [SPEAKER_00]: They're just putting unbelievable amounts of boulder shots into people's [SPEAKER_01]: faces and everything else and they're just not care. [SPEAKER_01]: Whatever. [SPEAKER_01]: So, but luckily, as soon as they drop out of the warp, they're able to kill them. [SPEAKER_01]: Once they've got to the warp, the Nurgle's power is not strong enough. [SPEAKER_01]: And now they become like just diseased plague, disease, space marines, and they're able to kill them. [SPEAKER_01]: So they kill them. [SPEAKER_01]: But they're still, as Brad just said, kind of a middle and nowhere with a broken ship, the broken ship. [SPEAKER_01]: And Garrow again, I actually, we should circle back on this. [SPEAKER_01]: We've talked about the fort. [SPEAKER_01]: The pride out prepared, even a regular space marine is a genius. [SPEAKER_01]: They are tactically geniuses. [SPEAKER_01]: They're able to diagnose situations and come up with solutions. [SPEAKER_01]: That's what makes them so powerful. [SPEAKER_01]: It's not that they're just bigger and stronger and faster than anybody else. [SPEAKER_01]: They're smarter than everybody else. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, they can also take in more information than a normal person. [SPEAKER_00]: Like by a hundred times, you can give them orbital relay information. [SPEAKER_00]: Everything that's happening on the planet, everything else. [SPEAKER_00]: And they [SPEAKER_01]: Boom. [SPEAKER_01]: Right. [SPEAKER_01]: Just like regular space. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, not a prime market, regular space. [SPEAKER_01]: So, Gary realizes that they can't go back into the warp, obviously. [SPEAKER_01]: Their thousands of light years from where they need to be. [SPEAKER_01]: They have no communication. [SPEAKER_01]: What are we going to do? [SPEAKER_01]: So, he decides to blog one of his work drives. [SPEAKER_01]: Just overloads it, kicks out the ship and it blows up because of blowing up warp drive, everyone can see. [SPEAKER_01]: The entire universe can see. [SPEAKER_01]: And Brad's favorite primar is watching and rogule dorn. [SPEAKER_00]: He does exactly what you expect him to do. [SPEAKER_00]: Be a deck. [SPEAKER_00]: We're trying to warn you of something happening. [SPEAKER_00]: We barely made it out alive. [SPEAKER_00]: We're fighting for our lives the whole time. [SPEAKER_00]: What's rogule dorn, do? [SPEAKER_00]: No. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't really believe you. [SPEAKER_01]: One of the story while in prison. [SPEAKER_01]: So, Rogel Gratt without even letting you tell your story. [SPEAKER_01]: Rogel Gratt's the whole shit throws them on the break of his ship blows up the eyes and the stines of that thing's gone and jumped. [SPEAKER_01]: That's right for that. [SPEAKER_01]: Just blows it up. [SPEAKER_01]: So, no, that thing's gone and jumps. [SPEAKER_01]: But he won't take them back to Earth to see the Emperor. [SPEAKER_01]: He takes him to Luna, which we almost, it's the moon. [SPEAKER_01]: But he takes him to the, and it's a giant fortress on Luna. [SPEAKER_01]: It takes them there. [SPEAKER_01]: Then gets super butt hurt when he's told that his brothers all turned on the Emperor. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, Brad loves Roguel, so I'll let Brad discuss how cool Roguel was at this. [SPEAKER_00]: He legitimately had every single information. [SPEAKER_00]: Also, all of the information is on the ship. [SPEAKER_00]: You could have said, hey, what happened? [SPEAKER_00]: These super computers that are literally sentient, basically, could have told you everything. [SPEAKER_00]: Instead, you're going to have me verbally tell you a story that you could have confirmed instantaneously. [SPEAKER_01]: Hey, look, there's the video footage of the plague marine. [SPEAKER_00]: Also, you could have said a message to the emperor so long ago, if you would have just paid any attention. [SPEAKER_01]: Luckily, eventually, Roguel does come around and this, the size they go tell the emperor, who believes him instantly? [SPEAKER_00]: And because of, you know, the overwhelming evidence. [SPEAKER_00]: And again, the basically futuristic black box on the plane, which confirms every single thing we've said, [SPEAKER_00]: You could have just looked at that, you know, instantaneously, but sorry Imperial fish fans. [SPEAKER_00]: I hate roadblocks. [SPEAKER_01]: Now the cool thing is we're gonna stop talking about gyro now, but don't worry. [SPEAKER_01]: He comes back up later. [SPEAKER_01]: For a lot and a lot. [SPEAKER_01]: So these guys have recently, like we just side-tracked there into somebody and now we're not gonna talk about him for a little bit, but don't worry. [SPEAKER_01]: He's gonna go back hard in the near future. [SPEAKER_01]: So Horus now, we're gonna jump back to Horus. [SPEAKER_01]: So Esteban Threes conclude. [SPEAKER_01]: He's purged his legion. [SPEAKER_01]: He's purged the world leaders are purged. [SPEAKER_01]: The world leaders, there's no purging. [SPEAKER_01]: They killed the one guy exactly. [SPEAKER_01]: There was Eric who was like, I'm not really into this. [SPEAKER_01]: And they were like, no. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: So now we're gonna have to raise you. [SPEAKER_01]: Eric's gone, but the rest of them are all there. [SPEAKER_01]: Emperors children have been purged and death go in purged. [SPEAKER_01]: So he has him. [SPEAKER_01]: He was effectively an, of course, Lord. [SPEAKER_01]: So, Lord, those was pre-purged. [SPEAKER_01]: And we're very, we're very, we're pre-purged. [SPEAKER_01]: So he has five legions that are ready to go. [SPEAKER_01]: They're rocking and rolling. [SPEAKER_01]: We can do this. [SPEAKER_01]: Now, he needs some more, and he's got a kind now make a tactical decision. [SPEAKER_01]: Who does he go and reach out to about, hey, want to go help me kill our dad? [SPEAKER_01]: And a couple of them, I think, are hardnosed. [SPEAKER_00]: The blood angels are literally led by space Jesus. [SPEAKER_00]: So they're probably not going to go any more going. [SPEAKER_00]: The ultra marines are led by the ultimate bureaucrat who would literally bore you into telling you that you're not going. [SPEAKER_00]: He would also confuse you because he would make it you believe that you were wrong the entire time you didn't talk about it. [SPEAKER_00]: So those two are right out. [SPEAKER_00]: And one of the other one, which is always kind of funny. [SPEAKER_00]: Like the lions, whoopsie. [SPEAKER_00]: The lion is totally loyal. [SPEAKER_00]: And you're present loyal here. [SPEAKER_00]: Lion. [SPEAKER_00]: And he thinks everybody else is good. [SPEAKER_00]: And actually everybody else with him is good. [SPEAKER_00]: Things at home don't go well. [SPEAKER_00]: He's adopted dad, Luther. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, we're going to get there. [SPEAKER_01]: We'll get there. [SPEAKER_01]: But like Horace makes this call blood angels, ultrimaries, dark angels. [SPEAKER_01]: No way. [SPEAKER_01]: They're not getting them. [SPEAKER_00]: And then makes some pretty easy calls. [SPEAKER_00]: He goes does the Legion led by the psycho killer that drafted only prison sociopath murders is going to turn to cast. [SPEAKER_00]: Good call that they weirdly were super okay with it. [SPEAKER_00]: Big shock. [SPEAKER_00]: He got my favorite turn. [SPEAKER_00]: Purcharabo of the iron ore is who hates Rogaldorn so much. [SPEAKER_01]: Which he really couldn't turn. [SPEAKER_01]: So we should mention Rogaldorn and Con were too close to earth. [SPEAKER_01]: So he had no way to con. [SPEAKER_01]: So he had to go. [SPEAKER_00]: I give her what during a lot of people wouldn't have turned. [SPEAKER_00]: Robodorn is literally the pallidium that that guy is like firmly his intelligence is for but he has maxed all those other stats also he's kind of a bad ass. [SPEAKER_01]: So so so so if you're not gonna get rogledorn you automatically get rid of a well [SPEAKER_00]: Let's be honest, one is a siege master and what is a fortification master and one talks so much shit to the other one. [SPEAKER_00]: So, uh, Puerto Raba with which side's roguelon, uh, almost effectively to his face. [SPEAKER_00]: Just like you can try to attack me right now. [SPEAKER_00]: I'll just run away. [SPEAKER_00]: But like, if he's on the other side, I'm in. [SPEAKER_00]: And then of course, Alpha Legion who are with that that one's tar though, because talk about redcon holy shit. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, now Ferris has a twin brother. [SPEAKER_00]: One of them is still alive and you can argue with me about it because there's been four different stories and there is a [SPEAKER_01]: particular cannon no one knew that they they had that the radical twin don't know which at this point no one knows that there's two of them but they also we don't even know from a story standpoint who said what to who like we don't know who what are them supposedly was loyal and one of them was not [SPEAKER_01]: So right now, Alpha Legion comes over, Iron Warriors and the thousands of sons. [SPEAKER_01]: And we're going to get to them in a second. [SPEAKER_01]: They came over in a bit of a weird way. [SPEAKER_01]: But he's got these guys. [SPEAKER_00]: The challenge while we're says, they came over to Wadeway after leaving Russ bane magnets over his knee. [SPEAKER_01]: They can't remember in the sense that like the thousand sons weren't necessarily and we'll get we were going to tell that story to second guys so hold on we'll feed you. [SPEAKER_01]: But the issue right now that he does have is he's got raven guards, salamanders, iron hands and space walls. [SPEAKER_01]: Space walls leaving was never coming over. [SPEAKER_01]: And I think I don't believe he was getting [SPEAKER_01]: Salamanders and ever you're never doing a Vulcan Vulcan is the only good guy in the entire area of impure and Corex is actually we're gonna go over it how much a badass Corex is pretty sure he's an invisible ninja assassin that's also a demon primary but he kind of one of the coolest acts of betrayal that he all said that Horus does is marks [SPEAKER_01]: We discussed before one of the only ways that Matt, the Emperor, was able to stretch into the Great Crusade was the deal he made with Mars. [SPEAKER_01]: He goes to Mars. [SPEAKER_01]: Mars is this planet that's actually really a factor. [SPEAKER_01]: It is a planet that's a quite a factor in making it a worship. [SPEAKER_01]: The things they make basically. [SPEAKER_01]: They make spaceships. [SPEAKER_01]: They make weapons. [SPEAKER_01]: They make everything. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that's his mechanic is Mars. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: And so the Emperor makes a deal with him. [SPEAKER_01]: The deal he makes with them is if you [SPEAKER_01]: provide my army, my army, my empire with equipment and all this stuff. [SPEAKER_01]: I will help find you more technology. [SPEAKER_01]: I will give you technology. [SPEAKER_01]: And so that is their deal. [SPEAKER_01]: Horace knows of this deal. [SPEAKER_01]: But what Horace also knows is that the emperor is lying. [SPEAKER_01]: That the emperor knows how dangerous some of the technology is and won't give it all. [SPEAKER_00]: Because he was alive during that time and he's also a deck. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, exactly. [SPEAKER_01]: So Horace knows this. [SPEAKER_01]: And so Horace realizes that he could get if he got Mars on his side. [SPEAKER_01]: Now he has all the weapons, which is a good when you're waging war pretty good. [SPEAKER_01]: Seems strong. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's really strong. [SPEAKER_01]: If I have all the weapons and my opponent has pointy sticks, see conquistadors. [SPEAKER_01]: It didn't work out while Horace does this trick where he reaches out to Kelbor, who's one of his ad-meck liaisons. [SPEAKER_01]: And he sends him back to Martin and tell them with a gift, it's an STC. [SPEAKER_01]: He presents it to fabricator of Mars and STC. [SPEAKER_00]: STC is the device back from the old times they could effectively create anything. [SPEAKER_01]: And this is the thing, Admit, care about more than anything. [SPEAKER_01]: It is, again, it's the holy grail they only want STCs. [SPEAKER_01]: And so for Horace to just have one, creates a bit of a problem. [SPEAKER_01]: Because the deal, the Emperor made with Admit, was that they got all of these. [SPEAKER_01]: So why does Horace have one? [SPEAKER_00]: And I have we never gotten any. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, how? [SPEAKER_01]: Horace makes a deal with them and says, look, the Emperor's been lying to you. [SPEAKER_01]: Just like he's this similar, he's come to say, where he's been lying to you. [SPEAKER_01]: I will give you this STC and I will give you more of them. [SPEAKER_01]: Not only that, but I'll also remove the Emperor's restriction of using AI, which they are, by the way, they worship that. [SPEAKER_01]: So, you just to say, Mars goes, yep, we're in, and the Emperor loses a planet, his own solar system, and maybe the most important production facility in the world. [SPEAKER_01]: This is like, like, laughably. [SPEAKER_01]: So now, though, the Emperor notes, he knows it's been betrayed, and Emperor's gonna react. [SPEAKER_01]: Luckily for Horus, at this stage, Wargar is still somewhat useful. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, I do like our line here. [SPEAKER_00]: So he knows he's been found out. [SPEAKER_00]: Horus knows he has to get rid of some people fast, or he's not gonna be, because he needs to push now. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Because he'll go time. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, he also doesn't know. [SPEAKER_00]: We have, again, millions of worlds, [SPEAKER_00]: I know how many space breeds I have. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know how many worlds I'm going to have. [SPEAKER_00]: I might just lose to like right now. [SPEAKER_00]: If you play a parallel guard, I might lose to the endless hordes of guards. [SPEAKER_00]: Yes. [SPEAKER_00]: So he has to go and he has to go to Tara and he has to do it now. [SPEAKER_00]: How's he going to go about doing that? [SPEAKER_00]: He needs to lose some space springs that aren't with him. [SPEAKER_00]: And he lays traps. [SPEAKER_00]: He lays about actually, he lays double digit traps. [SPEAKER_00]: Like there's your bookwise constant traps actually. [SPEAKER_00]: But it's all really good. [SPEAKER_00]: For the thing is, is that for us actually lays double digit giant schemes that all go at the same time. [SPEAKER_00]: He makes Kaiser so say, look like he's not in much. [SPEAKER_00]: Like just all of there's multiple novels. [SPEAKER_01]: We are that we shouldn't refer to Kaiser so say like you're welcome. [SPEAKER_01]: It was a great movie when I was in high school, right? [SPEAKER_01]: You were not school or your parents hadn't met yet. [SPEAKER_01]: Awesome. [SPEAKER_00]: He sets up trap after trap after trap and all of these are set to literally go off at the same time. [SPEAKER_00]: Because again, we still have communications problems, but people don't know why we right now. [SPEAKER_00]: We have no idea why we have communications problems. [SPEAKER_00]: And then we're about to have what's known as the drop out and drop say massacre. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: So before the drop that massacre is, it's fun five. [SPEAKER_01]: So we run it's fun three last time. [SPEAKER_01]: Word has gotten out. [SPEAKER_01]: Horace has turned against the emperor and Word goes to all the primarks go kill Horace. [SPEAKER_01]: In secret, though, right before, as a soul-happing right before, it's not clear at timeline, but Lord God brings out various petarabo and Conrad plumes onto his ship and explains to them what Horace is doing. [SPEAKER_01]: Horace is turning on the Emperor to save them, and they are all given the sales pitch [SPEAKER_01]: As we discussed, our pet Robo just went, where's Robo Dorn? [SPEAKER_01]: It's with the Emperor. [SPEAKER_01]: Cool. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm with you. [SPEAKER_01]: Conrad Cruz is a psychopath who goes to you. [SPEAKER_01]: So I want to be a murder people. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm just going to do that anyway. [SPEAKER_01]: And then I'm furious. [SPEAKER_01]: Just kind of so sure. [SPEAKER_01]: Maybe we don't know if he really if he had fingers crossed what he did. [SPEAKER_01]: It's a little bit this. [SPEAKER_01]: But in fact, the Emperor doesn't deserve their loyalty. [SPEAKER_01]: Empires don't need to see blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. [SPEAKER_01]: So they agree to turn trader. [SPEAKER_01]: But no one knows this. [SPEAKER_01]: So as far as the imperium is concerned, our trader legions are Luna Wolves who are now who've now changed the names to the sons of Horus, Deathguard, Emperors Children, and of course the word fairs. [SPEAKER_01]: They know this. [SPEAKER_01]: And we're leaders. [SPEAKER_01]: And oh, the world is. [SPEAKER_01]: So now the Salamanders, the Iron Hands and the Raven Guard are [SPEAKER_01]: coming in with attack. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, these guys are all hanging out on a planet. [SPEAKER_01]: Let's go down to that planet. [SPEAKER_01]: They're weirdly standing on this X. There's this X thing with a big like welcoming parade for us to attack. [SPEAKER_01]: Definitely not a trap. [SPEAKER_00]: They were supposed to basically vanguard push and then they were going to be supported by the brothers. [SPEAKER_00]: And one of the big, the reason that actually made a little bit of sense is one of the brothers was the iron warriors who are siege masters. [SPEAKER_00]: So, hey, you give me some space and I will set up and I will take down all their defenses. [SPEAKER_00]: You go over there first. [SPEAKER_01]: So they do. [SPEAKER_01]: This is going to hurt Brad. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm sure because he really loves himself some salamanders, but the salamanders line like nobody's business. [SPEAKER_01]: So they all land and they just start tearing through. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, this is the difference is with the exception of the world leaders. [SPEAKER_01]: There was anger in the salamanders and the iron hands and the raven girl. [SPEAKER_01]: There was genuine. [SPEAKER_00]: They had betrayed her. [SPEAKER_00]: Which is one of the reasons why it actually makes sense that they fell to this because they felt so betrayed that they're beyond logic. [SPEAKER_00]: They are trying. [SPEAKER_00]: They are basically striking out inventions and they're angry because they're actual brothers and they're betrayed them. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and killed them. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, not just betrayed them. [SPEAKER_01]: Remember, this isn't, they're not getting the notification that Horace says he's against the Emperor. [SPEAKER_01]: They find out the Horace killed his own [SPEAKER_00]: soldiers, his own gene seed. [SPEAKER_00]: Also, the books are well worth reading because there is a bunch of chapters which are dedicated to how badass the primarism is. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, and the core acts who's being king of fight is. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, core acts is doing stuff. [SPEAKER_00]: A Vulcan is literally being a giant with a hammer. [SPEAKER_00]: A sledgehammer. [SPEAKER_00]: He looks like Sauron at the beginning. [SPEAKER_00]: He's just. [SPEAKER_00]: No, I can't believe. [SPEAKER_01]: And so they are just ripping through the trader legions. [SPEAKER_01]: And as they're doing this, alpha legion, iron warriors, and then like the reinforcements of land. [SPEAKER_01]: And so now they've fought the traders have actually started retreating. [SPEAKER_01]: And we've now, is the Urgal depression, we have secured it. [SPEAKER_01]: Cool. [SPEAKER_01]: Our buddies are here. [SPEAKER_01]: Go get a Miron Warriors. [SPEAKER_01]: And what happens next, Brad? [SPEAKER_00]: She goes down. [SPEAKER_00]: One Vulcan catches a nuke to the face. [SPEAKER_00]: So it was cool. [SPEAKER_00]: By the way, I'm not actually like Ha Ha, funny. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm not making fun. [SPEAKER_00]: He literally takes a nuke. [SPEAKER_00]: Ground zero to his head. [SPEAKER_01]: It disappears. [SPEAKER_01]: Now the attack comes from the new traders are attacking and then of course the old traders come just wrecking towards them. [SPEAKER_01]: And so now they're trapped. [SPEAKER_01]: You've got the loyalists there between they could not be in a worse position. [SPEAKER_01]: They're actually to quote Star Wars. [SPEAKER_01]: They have the low ground, not the high ground. [SPEAKER_01]: They're being shut down on by siege masters. [SPEAKER_00]: And again, certain parties, they're pretty spread of part. [SPEAKER_00]: They know this sounds like one big like type, but it's planet wide, which is, again, why Vulcan took a nuke. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: A legitimate maneuver there. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: Also, they were kind of like, we won't, we don't want to deal with him. [SPEAKER_00]: Let's get it with a nuke. [SPEAKER_00]: Let's just nuke. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, this is the big thing though. [SPEAKER_00]: We have to go on this. [SPEAKER_00]: The word, sorry, word, there's so many people with symptoms. [SPEAKER_00]: The word bear, Lord Gars, the guy that initially started this, shows up with his legion, but his legion has secretly been just accepting demons into them, into them. [SPEAKER_00]: So they are the first [SPEAKER_00]: possessed marines, which they are marines, but they have demon souls inside them, which makes them faster, stronger, able to cut through armoured like butter basically. [SPEAKER_01]: They're hands. [SPEAKER_01]: They're called a gal vork. [SPEAKER_01]: It's the term that they use for them. [SPEAKER_01]: And they are just lightning fast. [SPEAKER_01]: And they start ripping through the space marines. [SPEAKER_01]: However, they're not fry mark fast. [SPEAKER_00]: And Ninja Warrior, Ninja Warrior Primax, the primarce of the raven guard effectively starts doing killer combos every morning. [SPEAKER_01]: And just begins just slaughtering them. [SPEAKER_01]: So again, back to the wall, it's time to fight. [SPEAKER_01]: And Corax just starts slaughtering these, what were supposed to be perfect soldiers. [SPEAKER_01]: Weave after wave and just, like, it's nothing. [SPEAKER_01]: And then, Lord, Gar, and that's the only way to probably pronounce his name. [SPEAKER_01]: By the way, is Lord Gar, gets upset that his possessed brothers are getting killed and decides to jump in and fight. [SPEAKER_00]: Sorry, we're bare fans. [SPEAKER_00]: But correct beats him down like a red. [SPEAKER_00]: Like it's something. [SPEAKER_01]: It's just he's like explodes. [SPEAKER_01]: Relax has been fighting for like, twenty two hours at this point. [SPEAKER_01]: It's fighting, demon infuse, space marines kills them up. [SPEAKER_01]: Rhymark shows up and he just beats him silly like it's nothing. [SPEAKER_00]: He does a whole con Loki on. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: She's no. [SPEAKER_00]: It isn't a close fight. [SPEAKER_00]: He pommels him. [SPEAKER_01]: Pommels him. [SPEAKER_01]: Only to be saved by Corax's weird vampire cousin Conrad Cruz jumps in. [SPEAKER_00]: Even though he's a super weirdo, the nighthunter is a bad guy. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, he's a fight. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, he can fight. [SPEAKER_01]: He's just super weird. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: It's like, well, I mean, my people are always like, I was like, I was like, Corax was kind of goth, where I was like, Kirk's actually better. [SPEAKER_01]: That's super weird. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I'm actually about. [SPEAKER_01]: Also read his book. [SPEAKER_01]: It's fantastic. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, it's great. [SPEAKER_00]: It's alien in forty-care. [SPEAKER_01]: So curves jumps in and that at this point, corrects test of flowing. [SPEAKER_00]: Okay, we got a back up a little bit here. [SPEAKER_00]: The gene seat basically is what makes Marines and they have to it's an actual gland in the Marines. [SPEAKER_00]: that they make other rains from and he's worried that I will not have a legion. [SPEAKER_00]: I want to have a chapter. [SPEAKER_00]: I want to have a core of a barbershop quartet at the end of this. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, me and everyone I care about is about to die. [SPEAKER_00]: So he grabs some bros. [SPEAKER_00]: and literally gets out of here. [SPEAKER_00]: And we're talking, I can't even remember what the number is. [SPEAKER_00]: I think it's like, fifty years or something. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's tiny. [SPEAKER_01]: So he then runs away, so to speak. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, but again, when we say runs away, he runs away on the planet that surrounded by his enemies and are hunting to kill him. [SPEAKER_01]: At the same time that this is all going down for the other Marines who are stuck out there, Morphtarian, Angron, and Horace, end up planet side. [SPEAKER_01]: and they brought some titans with them. [SPEAKER_00]: In the thing, it was like, while this is all going on, a ton of people don't still know what the hell's happening. [SPEAKER_00]: because they think they're supposed to be battling X and Y Z and Alpha of all shown up. [SPEAKER_00]: And they don't know who's supposed to be fighting who who's or Lee, who's fighting with me, who's not. [SPEAKER_00]: There's actually tons of parts of the story where these guys, cause the communications were jammed and they're running back down here in Warriors going, hey, these bubble, we got attacked by someone. [SPEAKER_00]: So they're like, man, that's a bummer and then they get shot the face. [SPEAKER_00]: So they're just like, oh man, this is the worst way ever to die. [SPEAKER_01]: So I like calling out some of the firsts that happened here. [SPEAKER_01]: And so we got a cool first here. [SPEAKER_01]: And the first is all death of a primar. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, it's not even a death of a primar. [SPEAKER_00]: It's the death of it's the death of a primar for the hand of his best friend. [SPEAKER_01]: So I'll let Brad spend some time here, explaining the friendship between Ferris Ferris Manis and Fogrum were legitimately [SPEAKER_00]: like tighter than anybody else. [SPEAKER_00]: They were, they were the best of friends. [SPEAKER_00]: They were, they did things together. [SPEAKER_00]: Ferris Manis made full-grams weapons. [SPEAKER_00]: As this is my finest craftsmanship. [SPEAKER_00]: The, this is one of the best. [SPEAKER_00]: Weirdly enough, the prime marker of the iron hands has iron hands. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, Jesus. [SPEAKER_01]: Every now and then you step your head. [SPEAKER_00]: But he's a forged master. [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, not as good as Vulcan. [SPEAKER_00]: But I have some favorites here, everyone. [SPEAKER_00]: It's fine. [SPEAKER_00]: So these guys are tightest of tightest. [SPEAKER_00]: They've been. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm pretty sure they've been on more engagements and worlds together than any of the other primers. [SPEAKER_00]: And they, but they fought side by side for five hundred years. [SPEAKER_00]: and Fulgram is now going to cast. [SPEAKER_00]: And Ferris Manis actually, before this, is told that Fulgram went to cast and refuses to believe it. [SPEAKER_00]: They got to buy other. [SPEAKER_00]: But can't, there's no chance. [SPEAKER_00]: There's no chance my best friend and my brother would turn to cast. [SPEAKER_00]: It cannot, no. [SPEAKER_00]: You're saying the sky is pink. [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, up and down is up, not a chance. [SPEAKER_00]: They meet on the field of battle and Ferris won't fight him at first. [SPEAKER_00]: Like actually won't, and then you get through the point where he realizes [SPEAKER_00]: that his brother is actually falling a cast and Fulgram's trying to turn him at this point in time. [SPEAKER_00]: And Ferris Manus has none of it. [SPEAKER_01]: He's still trying to like process both trying to turn each other. [SPEAKER_01]: Right. [SPEAKER_01]: Just unfortunately, one of them is more turned than the other. [SPEAKER_01]: Let's put it that way. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, Fulgram's gone at this point. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, Fulgram's gone in Ferris. [SPEAKER_00]: doesn't want to fight and wants Fogram to come back. [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, it's actually really sad. [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, it's a pretty hardcore thing in the book. [SPEAKER_00]: And they eventually get to the point where I fired Fogram's just, if you're, it basically, he does the, he does the Star Wars, you know, you're either with me or against me, you either join or I'm gonna kill you. [SPEAKER_00]: And then takes the blades that Ferris created for him, like his personalized weapons, that Ferris made for Fogram, [SPEAKER_01]: And so they begin fighting in fullroom. [SPEAKER_01]: There is beats. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, he's dominant. [SPEAKER_01]: He's beat other. [SPEAKER_01]: But he cannot kill him. [SPEAKER_00]: And he's got multiple. [SPEAKER_00]: He misses two different kill shots. [SPEAKER_00]: So he, well, he's, he's, he can't because he talks to me. [SPEAKER_00]: Literally he gives him the, what are you doing man? [SPEAKER_00]: Come on man. [SPEAKER_00]: What do you do? [SPEAKER_00]: We're best friends. [SPEAKER_00]: And then it really gets the kill shot effectively while he's talking. [SPEAKER_01]: and then full-groom at this time is actually has two blades. [SPEAKER_01]: One is the one Ferris gave him another, which he's been fighting with all time. [SPEAKER_01]: But also has a demon blade that he doesn't know is a demon blade, but it's totally different. [SPEAKER_00]: When we say demon blade, it is legitimately a weapon that has a warp entity, a demon, a greater demon, inside of it a powerful entity. [SPEAKER_00]: So it is a plus plus plus, it's plus five weapon. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, plus five vocals or yeah, and so as a verbal circuit, that's what it does. [SPEAKER_01]: The sword itself cuts off ferrisus head. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, actually guides his hand. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, guides his hand in. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, that's over. [SPEAKER_01]: That's when he begins to be overpowered by and in the book, even talks about the full-groom tries to stop it. [SPEAKER_01]: The full-groom doesn't want to kill him, but the blade goes [SPEAKER_00]: The program is fully convinced to cast, but he also doesn't want to kill. [SPEAKER_00]: Again, he's a friend and the blade just the blade also takes him over, but the best part about the blade is you don't know because they the loot to it in the book, but there's a chance that Fulgram might see that he's wrong right now. [SPEAKER_00]: And they basically seal the deal of him going to cast. [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, he is cast, but they seal the deal that he can't, he has no redemption art by the sword taking his arm over and literally cutting off Harris, man. [SPEAKER_01]: And then at this moment, Ferret, the full grum is someone I've applied about killing his brother. [SPEAKER_01]: which then allows the demon to possess his body, although it's a weird possession. [SPEAKER_01]: It's not like, well, there's lots of possessions that come up. [SPEAKER_01]: This was last of a possession, more of an imprisonment. [SPEAKER_01]: Fulgram was inside the sword. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, Fulgram was inside with inside, but the demon now possessed Fulgram. [SPEAKER_01]: Even though Fulgram said I was totally in charge of the allies, the Fulgram marks get a little bit weird, and you're into a snake spoiler. [SPEAKER_01]: Now go back to Korax. [SPEAKER_01]: Because it's kind of, this is, we talked about how, you know, not only you just get destroyed. [SPEAKER_01]: So Korax is buddies in the Ravenguard. [SPEAKER_01]: They're, they're, they're hiding. [SPEAKER_01]: And when you, when you run away, you know who likes chasing people who run away. [SPEAKER_01]: It's just in this cycle. [SPEAKER_00]: And God, they get the, the guy that's in charge of ads. [SPEAKER_01]: Yes. [SPEAKER_01]: So don't do no boss battles, just add kills. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, what I'll be honest, if I was fleeing an army, the army with the nails and their skulls who went out carrying chains, there was chasing me seemed a lot more intimidating than a lot of the other ones. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, like they're probably not going to give up anything. [SPEAKER_00]: They also, they looked at their calendar and they said, uh, looks like it's open except for murder. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, they were partying. [SPEAKER_01]: So Corax and the Ravenguard of fleeing, they're being chased and [SPEAKER_01]: and run get some cornered eventually and they're ready to do this. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know where because they're raven guard and they are sneaky. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, that is a big thing. [SPEAKER_00]: The raven guards, full ability is they are stealth masters. [SPEAKER_00]: They are forward deploying. [SPEAKER_00]: They're sitting next to you in the guard post going, I wonder if anybody's going to attack guys. [SPEAKER_00]: These guys are [SPEAKER_00]: a stealth masters. [SPEAKER_00]: So they are leading them on a merry chase. [SPEAKER_00]: Also, they are outnumbered. [SPEAKER_00]: Yes to fifty at this time. [SPEAKER_01]: And we're going to kill them. [SPEAKER_01]: Luckily, one of their captains who came from their homeworld to help out appears out of nowhere. [SPEAKER_01]: to bombs a bunch of the world leaders dropped effectively does a drive by and they all jump on the ship and peace out off world. [SPEAKER_01]: So Correx is a Correx is very hurt at this point and he's got like eleven friends. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so that it's like there's not a lot left there now off. [SPEAKER_00]: He's still not doing as bad as Vulcan did. [SPEAKER_00]: Vulcan went, hey, I wonder if they've got something they can make more guys on. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm Tara. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: You know, remember when we took a nuke to the face? [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I was sucking on all of me. [SPEAKER_01]: So at this point, Horace is celebrating three of the lawyers. [SPEAKER_01]: We will always are effectively destroyed. [SPEAKER_01]: They didn't. [SPEAKER_01]: Corax is wounded. [SPEAKER_01]: Ferris Manus is dead and they believe Vulcan is dead. [SPEAKER_01]: So he's killed two or the three primaries. [SPEAKER_00]: They actually, it's a big thing on that. [SPEAKER_00]: They don't actually know that he's eternal at this point. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, no one does. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't actually think he knows. [SPEAKER_01]: I think the Emperor knew it. [SPEAKER_01]: Probably. [SPEAKER_01]: The Emperor knows. [SPEAKER_01]: The Emperor knows. [SPEAKER_01]: And so they effectively think they killed two out of three primaries and they eliminated three legions. [SPEAKER_01]: They just, they're minimal losses. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, the numbers, they vary around a lot because this is a part of the history that's obviously not recorded because you don't write down your losses. [SPEAKER_01]: But the expectation is that there's less than a hundred thousand. [SPEAKER_01]: It's like that they took less than a hundred thousand losses. [SPEAKER_01]: Whereas these three leagues are all gone. [SPEAKER_01]: So this is a great thing. [SPEAKER_01]: But now we're going to jump over to Magnus with what Brad was saying earlier. [SPEAKER_01]: Horace launches all these traps the same time this way. [SPEAKER_01]: This is this is done to just confuse and we just want to communication either. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, because anytime, if anybody found out is to then happen, Prospero happen, they would go, oh no, and be prepared for. [SPEAKER_00]: So he has them all happen at the same time. [SPEAKER_00]: So at the same time of this, we go to the Kafka stolen Egyptian world across the world. [SPEAKER_00]: And we come down and Lehman Ross has been told to burn this place to the ground. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, the Lehman was told, go grab Magnus and get him. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that's true. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm my bad. [SPEAKER_00]: He was told by the emperor to go grab your brother and bring him back here. [SPEAKER_00]: Horace said, [SPEAKER_00]: No, he is really offended the Emperor. [SPEAKER_00]: You need to murder Magnus and set the planet on fire. [SPEAKER_01]: You need to murder Magnus and everyone around him and so leaving totally in on this one. [SPEAKER_01]: Also, it doesn't even like magic. [SPEAKER_01]: You just start with, Magnus needs to be an ally for Horace or do not exist. [SPEAKER_01]: Windman, either way. [SPEAKER_01]: So Lee Min's on his way. [SPEAKER_01]: Horio, so what happens is though, the space wolves arrive at Prospero to attack. [SPEAKER_01]: And the Magnus goes, hey, guys, I know you're here to grab me. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm ready to go face my judgment. [SPEAKER_01]: And Liam Rush just goes, nah, I'm killing everybody. [SPEAKER_00]: He actually makes an impassioned speech with logic and sense, leaving with, yeah, like, I'm still gonna wreck you, bro. [SPEAKER_00]: We're doing this. [SPEAKER_00]: And so I don't know what this whole talkie talkie take. [SPEAKER_01]: We need to move this one along. [SPEAKER_01]: I brought my whole army with me and we're going to kind of wipe out your army. [SPEAKER_00]: And he doesn't just in the thousands sons, they he goes buck wild. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, he has the thousands. [SPEAKER_00]: He has the space wolves go. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, if you live on Prospero, you're gone, y'all. [SPEAKER_01]: One interesting thing I thought about this is that thousands are the only Siker on at this stage. [SPEAKER_01]: When it's Siker heavy army, Lehman is not. [SPEAKER_01]: So he does plan ahead. [SPEAKER_01]: And he brings sisters of silence with him because their blanks, which we'll get into later, but they bring in the ability to stop. [SPEAKER_01]: Stop sucking powers and also brought custodes with him because you're. [SPEAKER_00]: Because why not? [SPEAKER_00]: When you're going to win, why win by fifty when you're going to win by all hundreds of fifty. [SPEAKER_00]: This thousands of never had a chance here. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, they never had a chance, but it's not helped by the fact that Magnus is just kind of, wow, he was full he-mo. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, well, he fights. [SPEAKER_01]: The Magnus eventually, you can only be passive for so long, and the thousands begin to fight back. [SPEAKER_01]: They do fight back, they fight back with psychic power, they do all this stuff, but they're losing. [SPEAKER_01]: And Magnus will tell. [SPEAKER_00]: Is doing that though, actually almost was a bad idea, because [SPEAKER_00]: They were originally, man, they weren't super psyched up. [SPEAKER_00]: As soon as they started using the heresy powers, because the space wolves are no bueno about the story. [SPEAKER_00]: They basically, in Ray, all the bizarre librarian heavy army. [SPEAKER_01]: All the visitors hit the rage button and double their tax. [SPEAKER_01]: They all come in hard. [SPEAKER_01]: Magnus realizes what's going to happen. [SPEAKER_01]: He goes to Araman who comes up much more later. [SPEAKER_01]: and says, grab everybody, go into the temples and hide the temples. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to go deal with this. [SPEAKER_01]: And he goes out and meets Lehman Rust in combat. [SPEAKER_01]: Now, in a sparring session, Lehman Rust would beat the living piss out of that. [SPEAKER_01]: Yes. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, which he does, which would in an actual fight where magus doesn't really want to fight and Lehman Rust is used to the nines. [SPEAKER_01]: He is is a ruins is so long. [SPEAKER_01]: literally lifts him in the air and breaks his back over his knee. [SPEAKER_01]: And then as Magnus is lying there with a broken spine, Lehman comes to kill him. [SPEAKER_01]: And as he kills him, Magnus decides to joins each. [SPEAKER_00]: We decided to join Zeta in basically time doesn't operate the same way in the work. [SPEAKER_00]: So, Magnus in the actual, in the time of the killing stroke has a long conversation with Zeta about what's going to happen to my sons, what's going to happen to you. [SPEAKER_00]: my planet and everything else and he says no problem. [SPEAKER_00]: I will take care of that and prosperity of version of prosperity. [SPEAKER_00]: I guess gets teleported into the war the I the I have terror the the go between between the warp and the real world. [SPEAKER_00]: So you have prosperity just chilling out in the I have terror and as with all [SPEAKER_01]: deals, he made with demon princes. [SPEAKER_01]: Didn't go out. [SPEAKER_01]: Zeench said the truth that they all would not die, but they're souls of the entire thousand son army and everyone on prosperity, prosperity, now belong to Zeench. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, that was, we'll go into the era mine on that. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: The river your damnation was a whoopsie. [SPEAKER_01]: There's also that piece. [SPEAKER_01]: Magnus the same time with his broken back and everything else also he sells himself out and becomes the second. [SPEAKER_01]: demon Christ to be tough to fall to become a demon prince. [SPEAKER_01]: Now he's on the trader side. [SPEAKER_01]: Horace now. [SPEAKER_01]: What next steps brings in his buddies. [SPEAKER_01]: So he's got world leaders. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, nine. [SPEAKER_00]: There's nine and nine. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, nine and nine. [SPEAKER_01]: Sort of. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I'll say. [SPEAKER_00]: You've got nine and well, the thing is, is that to be too. [SPEAKER_00]: The trader legions lost. [SPEAKER_00]: There's nine legions and while, yes, they slaughtered three of them. [SPEAKER_00]: of the others, their legions aren't doing great either because they purged themselves. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: Half of each of their legions. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: So yes, they have the advantage, but they also have point five point point five kind of thing coming in because they decimated fifty, sixty percent of their own guys. [SPEAKER_01]: And so at this point, Horace has to decide what the next move is. [SPEAKER_01]: And the next move is twofold. [SPEAKER_01]: One, get to earth, because as Brad mentioned earlier, we know how many worlds are in the Imperium. [SPEAKER_01]: We don't know how many of them are going to side with each one and logistics are a real thing. [SPEAKER_01]: You don't have a ton of time to wage these wars before you run out of problems. [SPEAKER_00]: Yep. [SPEAKER_00]: You run out of food, you run out of vehicles, you run out of every bullets, everything else. [SPEAKER_01]: And this time it is the longer you do it, the longer the empire can bring everyone together and have a overwhelming force. [SPEAKER_01]: What he decides is I'm sending five of you sort of, I mean, I'm going to send five of you to Mars. [SPEAKER_01]: The sort of is we're going to cover later as far as how it gets there. [SPEAKER_01]: And then the other remaining four are going to wage where effectively terror campaigns throughout. [SPEAKER_01]: We're going to just disrupt this route. [SPEAKER_00]: We're going to try to disrupt logistics. [SPEAKER_00]: We're going to try to get people to come, which actually doesn't work out even more. [SPEAKER_01]: Not even in the ballpark, but it's fine. [SPEAKER_01]: Some of this makes sense. [SPEAKER_01]: Iron Warriors, hey, go attack the fists. [SPEAKER_01]: I think they're going to do that, whether you told them to or not. [SPEAKER_00]: Nightlords go harass people. [SPEAKER_00]: I was they might have been doing that. [SPEAKER_01]: Go find random planets and kill people on it for fun. [SPEAKER_01]: All right. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, the ones who are the ones who are already on. [SPEAKER_01]: And then the alpha legion is kind of workout that gets better a lot of time on them because it really this is where Brad's kind of about alpha legion. [SPEAKER_01]: We don't really fully grasp what was going well wasn't going on with them, but we'll cover it. [SPEAKER_00]: They either did terrible. [SPEAKER_00]: Or they were still lead. [SPEAKER_01]: Also, that's, so as we come into the end of this episode, let's just make sure everyone's following along at home. [SPEAKER_01]: So, Horace, the traitor legions have Horace, the Luna Wolves, Fulgram, who is now a demon, the Emperor's children, Magnus, who's also a demon with a thousand sons. [SPEAKER_01]: Petra Robo and his iron warriors. [SPEAKER_00]: We have to deal with Magnus real quick. [SPEAKER_00]: Magnus currently doesn't have a full real Legion and we'll go into more in the next episode. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Mortarian with his deathguard, Laura Garre with his word bears and ground the world leaders. [SPEAKER_01]: Conrad crews in the night lords and alfarious plus without the Legion. [SPEAKER_01]: He also has Mars and all four chaos gods. [SPEAKER_00]: which means that he has effectively, you can make a demonic incursions from the warp as long as you're doing whatever their thing is. [SPEAKER_01]: So he has the warp on his side action on top to like the other way also has the warp on his side. [SPEAKER_00]: People can't travel. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: The Imperian has Rogel Dorn, who's at full strength, Jagadi Khan, who's at full strength. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, the big biggest thing is his role, Dorn being into the Terra, you have your literal fortification master. [SPEAKER_01]: at your fortification. [SPEAKER_01]: I should place that the enemy's coming. [SPEAKER_00]: You know, so Tara is a planet size fortification. [SPEAKER_01]: So also the Himalayas. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Lehman Russ, he's on his way back after, at the wrecking Magnus. [SPEAKER_01]: So Lehman Russ is also mostly full strength. [SPEAKER_01]: Then technically have the Salamanders. [SPEAKER_01]: We think the Primark is dead. [SPEAKER_01]: We don't know how many are left. [SPEAKER_01]: Gilliman on the Ultra. [SPEAKER_01]: I think might be the largest of the armies by far, but he also longs it wildly far away because Horace [SPEAKER_01]: Send him, we're going to cover some of this stuff in front of you. [SPEAKER_00]: For us literally sent people that he, the people that he couldn't kill, he's, and then he couldn't turn, he said, hey, will you go get the snarf on the other side of the universe? [SPEAKER_00]: And they were like, that sounds weird, but whatever. [SPEAKER_01]: And even charged, we'll go there. [SPEAKER_01]: Theris Manis is [SPEAKER_01]: Dead, the iron hands are decimated. [SPEAKER_01]: There's a few left. [SPEAKER_01]: And then Corax is heavily wounded. [SPEAKER_01]: And the raven guard are a bleak club right now. [SPEAKER_01]: There's barely anybody out there. [SPEAKER_01]: They also do have the adaptus custodists, though, and they have a sister silence, and the most powerful being in the galaxy. [SPEAKER_00]: Like laugh, I believe I am. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, by far. [SPEAKER_01]: So that's kind of where we're at. [SPEAKER_01]: So, as a conclusion, you know, at this stage, our traders have the upper hand. [SPEAKER_01]: They have a number of the space Marines, and they're on the offensive. [SPEAKER_01]: They got powerful allies, and more of the biggest things they had going for them is that they're singular and purpose right now. [SPEAKER_01]: They just want to go conquer. [SPEAKER_01]: Whereas the Imperium has to govern and defend itself and kill its traders, which is stretching them a lot thinner. [SPEAKER_01]: And so our next episode, we're going to cover some of the really cool side stories of a journey to the gates of Tara by the Trader's legions. [SPEAKER_01]: For those who are new to this, this whole area has thirty, forty books. [SPEAKER_01]: Death, it covering this. [SPEAKER_01]: So what ends up happening is a first chunk we've covered here is fairly linear. [SPEAKER_01]: What we're going to do now is kind of these more non-linear stories of all this then kind of happens at the same time. [SPEAKER_01]: Because we're talking about a seven-year period. [SPEAKER_01]: But the universe is three dimensions. [SPEAKER_01]: So things are happening all over the universe. [SPEAKER_01]: At the same time. [SPEAKER_01]: Once again, I'm John Barside. [SPEAKER_01]: This is Brad Chester. [SPEAKER_01]: It's guy. [SPEAKER_01]: And thank you for listening to the forty-kloricust.
