0488 Daily Easy English Expression PODCAST—my lips are sealed
Today’s expression and dialog: my lips are sealed Ryan’s birthday party is Friday. It’s a secret. You mean Brian? Oh, yeah. Brian. Don’t tell anyone. My lips are sealed. Let's REVIEW the last two days, okay: If you want to have people TELL OTHER people something important, use the expression "Pass it along" or "Pass it on". If you want to tell a person a SECRET and you do NOT want that person to tell anyone else, use "Mum's the word." Easy, right? So, what if someone tells you "Mum's the word." How can you respond? Of course, you could say, "Okay!" But if that person is going to use a cool expression, then you should use a cool expression, too. Right? So, I'll teach you one today!
