Episode 64 - "Where are they now" Primarch edition - the Loyalists

The 40k Lorecast

On Today’s cast we conclude our listener cast on “where are the Primarchs now” with a focus on the Loyalists. After a very quick trip into very dead Ferrus Manus, we spend a bunch of time on John’s favorite Primarch Guilliman. He is awesome, sorry. Then we throw Brad a bone and jump into Leman Russ. We follow this up with Sangunius and Corax, and then Vulkan. Then we make Brad admit that Rogal Dorn is awesome, and then conclude on the Lion.

[SPEAKER_01]: Welcome to the Forty K-Lorecast.
[SPEAKER_01]: Welcome to the Forty-K-Lorecast with me, John Barsati and Brad Chester.
[SPEAKER_01]: This gap.
[SPEAKER_01]: On today's cast, we're concluding our series of where are they now?
[SPEAKER_01]: Primarch edition with a focus on the Loyalist Primarchs.
[SPEAKER_03]: Can they get a pizzazz that out?
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_03]: Where are they now?
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, they actually the best part about in writing this, they realize the traitor Primarchs are all doing a lot better than the Loyalists are.
[SPEAKER_03]: By far, it's not even close.
[SPEAKER_01]: Mostly just not being dead.
[SPEAKER_03]: Also, their influence is mostly in the not being dead thing.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, they're not being dead.
[SPEAKER_03]: Things are huge thing.
[SPEAKER_03]: And or being trapped somewhere or you're, yeah, we'll go into this.
[SPEAKER_03]: I'm really curious right now.
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm super excited about this cast.
[SPEAKER_01]: I like Gillibon.
[SPEAKER_01]: Be ready.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, you do.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, be ready for that.
[SPEAKER_01]: But before we get as always, please continue commenting and liking you guys doing a great job.
[SPEAKER_01]: Those of you who are doing it, those of you aren't.
[SPEAKER_01]: Please, but whatever, don't have to.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's really great.
[SPEAKER_01]: I got said, but numerous has four.
[SPEAKER_01]: I read these comments in the morning.
[SPEAKER_01]: One drinking coffee.
[SPEAKER_01]: It makes me laugh.
[SPEAKER_01]: My goal is to kind of get this podcast large enough that I get a note from GW that just says, come on, stop because we do have some fun of their expense.
[SPEAKER_03]: I will be talking to them this weekend.
[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, it'll be in the past in the past.
[SPEAKER_03]: But now it's in the future.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Stop saying this weekend when it's going to be this episode.
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not putting out weeks after.
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm just saying I didn't put a date on it.
[SPEAKER_01]: I said for me this week.
[SPEAKER_01]: You guys were seeing me at the grocery store over there.
[SPEAKER_01]: This Thursday at two p.m.
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm like through.
[SPEAKER_03]: I consider myself Schrodinger's Brad.
[SPEAKER_03]: I exist and don't exist at the exact same time.
[SPEAKER_03]: You don't know.
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't, I don't make it.
[SPEAKER_01]: So he has a given your health when you're in a box in the ground.
[SPEAKER_01]: We all know.
[SPEAKER_01]: He doesn't exist.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that cat's dead.
[SPEAKER_03]: I showed her and came back with that.
[SPEAKER_03]: That's, that's it.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, no, this one, this one we can for sure.
[SPEAKER_01]: We call it.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, we call it as someone.
[SPEAKER_01]: Additionally, for those of you who like the cast and looking for a place in Iraq, as we always point out, we have a discord, totally free discord.
[SPEAKER_01]: Please, it's in the show night.
[SPEAKER_01]: If you're looking for a spot to really talk about Forty Kay at any level, something from as as low as, hey, I'm just learning this game.
[SPEAKER_01]: What is it?
[SPEAKER_01]: All the way up through competitive literature advice, painting advice, even Brad's coaching advice.
[SPEAKER_01]: We all have in the discord.
[SPEAKER_01]: Real big shout out to Kevin Macy, Brian, Ethan, I'm going to keep going out.
[SPEAKER_01]: You spell your name wrong.
[SPEAKER_01]: Steve, Ryan, Trevor, and David.
[SPEAKER_01]: Ryan, you're a team, Mike.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yep.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, these guys that they're great is guys and women are great.
[SPEAKER_01]: They've done an incredible job of reorganizing our discord.
[SPEAKER_01]: So one of the main things about our discord was we wanted to get away from DACA DACA read it a lot of these places where if you don't really know what you're doing or you ask an innocent question people seem to like want to mock you and be a jackass about.
[SPEAKER_03]: I hate that so much.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, this is meant to be a place because we recognize a lot of
[SPEAKER_01]: This is meant to be a place where people can come, who are newer to the game, and are people who are also new, but also have experience for the goal to be kind of improved your knowledge and enjoy the game the same way everybody else does.
[SPEAKER_03]: For everything from gaming, we have everything from literature to video games to just forty-k-long.
[SPEAKER_03]: There's something going on for everybody.
[SPEAKER_03]: I really do love it.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's a great discord.
[SPEAKER_01]: Aside from discord, we also have a Patreon for those of you who've been listening long enough, you know, how bad the audio used to be.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's because of Patreon.
[SPEAKER_01]: Patreon has fixed a lot of our audio issues.
[SPEAKER_01]: Patreon is why we have an audio engineer.
[SPEAKER_01]: Patreon is fixed.
[SPEAKER_01]: Why we're getting sound dampening for the studio soon.
[SPEAKER_01]: Studio aka my basement literally.
[SPEAKER_01]: Like my weights are over there.
[SPEAKER_01]: My kids' toys are over there.
[SPEAKER_01]: There's a bounty on it.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's just how it works.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: But we get some stuff that got to help out every time Brad, which is Dr. Pepper Down, which I called out as he was drinking in Dr. Pepper.
[SPEAKER_01]: He had to watch him very gently put it down, which always makes me laugh.
[SPEAKER_01]: Uh-huh.
[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, my shiki.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: If you're going to help, it's very funny.
[SPEAKER_01]: Remember you call it Brad Out for something you will adjust behavior instantly, and it's very enjoyable.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_03]: I don't really like how that sounds.
[SPEAKER_03]: I feel like people are just going to follow me around with spray bottles and be like, no, bad bra.
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, so that if you put up Brad is short, you will set up.
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not kidding.
[SPEAKER_01]: He does do that.
[SPEAKER_01]: Your pies are changed.
[SPEAKER_03]: I'd like to refute that, but no, that's a hundred percent.
[SPEAKER_01]: Like there's no chance that that's not your thing.
[SPEAKER_01]: Or he'll flex.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's one of those dudes will have it every time.
[SPEAKER_01]: Or both.
[SPEAKER_01]: Or both.
[SPEAKER_01]: So we at lastly, we do have a website, the forty-kloricast.com.
[SPEAKER_01]: You can go there has links to our Patreon or Discord.
[SPEAKER_01]: But actually our merchandise, if you want to get some clothing, we've got some clothing.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's funny.
[SPEAKER_01]: Don't worry, I actually put an effort into it.
[SPEAKER_03]: I just stole John's hat, just so I made sure it was comfortable.
[SPEAKER_01]: It is.
[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm getting one.
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm very proud of my other talsher.
[SPEAKER_01]: I put on there about never forget, never forget.
[SPEAKER_01]: Never, let's stupid shield drones.
[SPEAKER_03]: Anyway, just want to tell you, it's comfortable.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's good.
[SPEAKER_01]: Also, there's dice too, and I've used them, and I won.
[SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, I spiraled into weird.
[SPEAKER_01]: Last thing that we always cover is Brad's coaching for people who are interested in playing Forty Kay.
[SPEAKER_01]: It can be a little bit daunting to get into.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, donning on or whatever everyone you want to use.
[SPEAKER_01]: And what Brad has is over ten years of coaching experience at multiple levels.
[SPEAKER_01]: This can be everything from I'm brand new to the game to I'm brand new to playing competitive to I do all those things.
[SPEAKER_01]: I want to and I want to be better at it.
[SPEAKER_01]: Brad's there.
[SPEAKER_01]: His goal, though, the nice thing about him is that his goal is to actually not just have you have a better time, but have you make better choices, which allow for you to have a better time.
[SPEAKER_01]: So Brad's goal, though, is to make people have a better time with table top.
[SPEAKER_01]: So if you look at for coaching, please reach out to him.
[SPEAKER_01]: You can go to our website, go to our Discord, or you can keep ruining
[SPEAKER_01]: the amount of span he gets by making him say email him at old man bread for decay at gmail.com.
[SPEAKER_03]: I love the fact by the way that we cut this out and then people with we want this to happen what I love actually more is not if you get to see what happens.
[SPEAKER_01]: When we used to do this, Brad would he would post you up, he'd put his hand out and speak like it was a Shakespearean play giving up his email address.
[SPEAKER_01]: And now it's PTSD.
[SPEAKER_01]: Every time I bring this up, he makes this like sad face of, I am gonna get so many emails about lonely, fifty-year-olds in your area.
[SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, all of it off of the loyalists.
[SPEAKER_01]: Last week, we opened the traders with a quick one and we're gonna say this week.
[SPEAKER_03]: I want to say that you're back to back weekends of Dick move man.
[SPEAKER_01]: What, opening with with the quickest one, Ferris Manus.
[SPEAKER_01]: He's dead.
[SPEAKER_01]: We're all dead.
[SPEAKER_01]: Super.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, super dead.
[SPEAKER_01]: He was on.
[SPEAKER_01]: He was on the drop site, master your Istvon five and then full room cut his head off.
[SPEAKER_03]: with a demon blade, back that up real quick, not just full-groom.
[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, who was full-groomed a man?
[SPEAKER_03]: Ferris Madness, always best friend.
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Actually, forgot that was right.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: He, Ferris was fighting his best friend, full-groom, who used a demon blade to cut his head off.
[SPEAKER_01]: And then the demon blade, possessed full-groom for a while.
[SPEAKER_01]: One of like ten times.
[SPEAKER_01]: A numerous times.
[SPEAKER_03]: Weirdly, if I said ten times as a high high, and I think it is actually six or seven.
[SPEAKER_01]: That was fun.
[SPEAKER_01]: Let's do a long one.
[SPEAKER_01]: He's big.
[SPEAKER_01]: He wears a lot of blue, and he's the best prime mark in the entire game, Gilliman.
[SPEAKER_01]: And when I say that, just understand, I really do.
[SPEAKER_01]: I love Gilliman.
[SPEAKER_01]: And I would argue, and my argument for him is that no prime mark to me is more involved with Forty K. Law than Gilliman.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, especially now, he launched a tradition.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Thirty-K, Laura, whatever.
[SPEAKER_01]: Forty-K, Laura.
[SPEAKER_03]: I'm saying, like, modern, because we're right now we are in the tenth edition of Forty-K in the game.
[SPEAKER_03]: G-Man got resurrected in the eighth edition.
[SPEAKER_03]: And that was when we started pushing the story.
[SPEAKER_01]: Let's go back further.
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm sorry.
[SPEAKER_01]: Seventh edition.
[SPEAKER_01]: No, code.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's a start.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's that's Gilman.
[SPEAKER_01]: Where did the where did that come in?
[SPEAKER_01]: That's before for us.
[SPEAKER_03]: I don't even know.
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm so sad.
[SPEAKER_01]: What I'm talking about.
[SPEAKER_01]: No, I'm not.
[SPEAKER_01]: I say that.
[SPEAKER_01]: I was saying modern.
[SPEAKER_01]: Forty.
[SPEAKER_01]: Forty.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: He's more about what I'm saying is that he is.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, he wrote the book.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: He wrote.
[SPEAKER_01]: He wrote the code extra.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, sure.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: He restructured the entirety of the Imperium.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Gilman's important.
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't like him.
[SPEAKER_01]: I get it.
[SPEAKER_03]: I want you to talk to me.
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't can it because Brad is like going.
[SPEAKER_01]: I know that.
[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, because you're like all the other products are rushing off to like I'm going to go.
[SPEAKER_01]: I was slap chaos in the face and kill them and it's like we should feed people.
[SPEAKER_03]: I feel people should know that I actually prefer bad decisions at all times.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Let's focus that because this is actually important to me.
[SPEAKER_01]: So Gilliman missed the siege of Tara because he, just like the lion and Lehman were held up by Alpha Legion and word bears and, et cetera, et cetera.
[SPEAKER_01]: So Gilliman was not thrilled about this and he arrives at Tara with three thousand capital ships just as the traders are booking out as fast as they could.
[SPEAKER_01]: Now, this is why I like Gilman, where all of his brothers were raised to launch themselves after the traitors and take chase them out of the galaxy.
[SPEAKER_01]: We're just ready.
[SPEAKER_01]: They did.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, they were originally ready to, and they did anyway.
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm saying, they did, they just left the Gilman around, and he realized he's got this incredible fleet.
[SPEAKER_01]: He has the largest, I think, I believe he was at this point the largest legion.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's him and Dark Angels.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's hard for me to remember exactly which one was larger.
[SPEAKER_02]: There's a lot of planes at this point.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: He could have pursued chaos and done a bunch of damage, but instead he did the right thing.
[SPEAKER_01]: He looked around the Imperium and decided to save the Imperium from his own.
[SPEAKER_01]: The Imperium was trashed.
[SPEAKER_01]: It was completely going to collapse.
[SPEAKER_01]: The first thing he does is he secures terror.
[SPEAKER_01]: He goes through impurgents and he and all chaos forces.
[SPEAKER_01]: We talk about the siege of terror.
[SPEAKER_01]: We forget
[SPEAKER_01]: It was in the Himalayan mountains, which was, you know, the palace, I think they'd say it was, it was large, they'd say it was a few thousand square kilometers.
[SPEAKER_03]: This is the source thing around this world.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so for those of us in America, that's about five, five hundred thousand cascos.
[SPEAKER_03]: Never use the metrics system.
[SPEAKER_01]: And if any of you are brought down over to cascos, that is actually your loss.
[SPEAKER_01]: I wrote history chicken and that hot dog.
[SPEAKER_01]: Just so much stuff.
[SPEAKER_03]: That's played some spirals.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, the problem is that at five hundred thousand Costco's in size, it's still not the earth.
[SPEAKER_01]: And so Gilliman and his ultra marines went down to like Brazil and found the chaos cult is there and beat the crap out of them.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's Gilliman did not have a light touch.
[SPEAKER_01]: No, that's the outcome, because Gilming gets a lot of grief for being this like bureaucrat, and it's like, yeah, he is, but he's a bureaucrat with the most powerful army in the Imperium, and he uses it accordingly.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, he did flatline all of the shit.
[SPEAKER_01]: The next thing Gilman does though is re-established control of the Imperium.
[SPEAKER_01]: We've discussed this before too, and I was the drive-in-home, that the Imperium was run by the Emperor and Malkador.
[SPEAKER_01]: The lords of Terra, they'd always been there, but they were nothing more than figureheads, but the most powerful being in the galaxies in charge.
[SPEAKER_03]: Well, he's when the emperor in Malkador were alive.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_03]: And would could possibly just show up.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_03]: It was just, you can't really misbehave that back.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, and it's all the pieces that you don't want to make decisions is a bigger problem.
[SPEAKER_01]: You're like, oh, we should do wait for it.
[SPEAKER_01]: Wait for emperor's here.
[SPEAKER_01]: What are we doing, emperor?
[SPEAKER_01]: You're doing this.
[SPEAKER_01]: Cool.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's what we're doing.
[SPEAKER_01]: Now he's gone.
[SPEAKER_01]: And they genuinely have no that they were not ready for it.
[SPEAKER_01]: Because they were, you take a figurine photo.
[SPEAKER_01]: They sought from the start.
[SPEAKER_01]: What I love about Gill, I'm gonna know is that he sees this scenario of these effectively useless lords of terror, and he could have given him a good pep talk.
[SPEAKER_01]: Really helped him.
[SPEAKER_01]: They'll help him get through it.
[SPEAKER_01]: Instead, he just made himself a Lord commander of the Imperium.
[SPEAKER_03]: They only get, not only get the thing.
[SPEAKER_03]: The best part about him doing this is that we already was one.
[SPEAKER_01]: There was.
[SPEAKER_01]: And he was, it was currently Roguel Dorn.
[SPEAKER_01]: And I expect that Gilliman called himself the Lord Commander.
[SPEAKER_01]: Roguel went, hey, I'm the Lord Commander.
[SPEAKER_01]: And then Gilliman pointed pointed at all of Terran said, yeah, he did a really great job of that, Roguel.
[SPEAKER_01]: And then I'm going to fix the chair, right?
[SPEAKER_03]: If you leave me, I'll be fixing things.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and so he takes control of the military, which gives him really effectively control of the imperial.
[SPEAKER_01]: And it's because when we say the military, he's not just commanding the troops, he gets everything that comes into that.
[SPEAKER_01]: All the logistics, all the shipping lanes.
[SPEAKER_03]: Let's go, because we're going to have to do a little recap on this first.
[SPEAKER_03]: Horace Harrisie.
[SPEAKER_03]: Ty.
[SPEAKER_03]: At this particular time, the imperial was the military.
[SPEAKER_03]: period.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: It was just because we went from the great crusade straight into the Horace Harris.
[SPEAKER_01]: There was no like, oh, there were no peace time.
[SPEAKER_03]: No.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's it.
[SPEAKER_01]: And so that the military was everything.
[SPEAKER_01]: So all of your commerce, trade, logistics, they were all based largely around feeding the military beast.
[SPEAKER_01]: So taking control of the military really put Gilman in charge of everything.
[SPEAKER_01]: And with a galaxy on fire, this is really, really important because people have to get fed.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's what we're talking about here.
[SPEAKER_01]: If he just don't want to know how people had done.
[SPEAKER_01]: the food would have stopped flowing.
[SPEAKER_01]: The galaxy that the Imperial Party would have starved to death.
[SPEAKER_03]: I'll give you this.
[SPEAKER_03]: G-Man is next level in bureaucracy.
[SPEAKER_01]: But not the bad kind of bureaucracy, not the like, let's make five TPS reports.
[SPEAKER_01]: Now he was like, yeah, he was, he's a little, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's the TPS.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Now, the funny thing about this is that the other, like, primark brothers who were there with him were not exactly cool with this.
[SPEAKER_01]: They weren't like looking for a new boss.
[SPEAKER_01]: And all of a sudden, their brother, who is an equal, effectively, says, I'm in charge.
[SPEAKER_01]: And my view point of the conversation, because I actually can see him and Lehman Russ having this.
[SPEAKER_01]: I believe in Russ to say, you can't declare yourself Lord Commander.
[SPEAKER_01]: Why should Nibian charge?
[SPEAKER_01]: And then to which Gilman says, do you want to sit here at Tara?
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, everyone else goes and punches traders and Lehman Russ will go, fine, you can be Lord Commander.
[SPEAKER_01]: Someone grabbed my Chinese ass kicking boots.
[SPEAKER_01]: We're out of here.
[SPEAKER_03]: You're like, oh, so you have to fill in all this paperwork.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I don't know.
[SPEAKER_01]: You're, you're, you know what?
[SPEAKER_01]: You do it.
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm, you want to, you want a bigger hat?
[SPEAKER_01]: I heard that's how they did.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, Peter Obo went that way.
[SPEAKER_01]: Bye.
[SPEAKER_01]: Like, you know, I got to go do some stuff.
[SPEAKER_01]: And then once left in charge by his brothers, Kiliman, I think at this point just decides to be a kind of a dick and goes, hey, I'm going to write the code extra stardies now.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's just, yeah, this went over well.
[SPEAKER_01]: This was not the most receipts.
[SPEAKER_03]: Hey, you're going swimming.
[SPEAKER_03]: Here's this anchor.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, no, he was a good idea.
[SPEAKER_01]: Unlike, unlike the warrior lives.
[SPEAKER_03]: It was.
[SPEAKER_03]: We'll talk about it when we go into Lehman.
[SPEAKER_03]: Because he writes the codex to start is specifically because he said too much power in one person's control will lead eventually to corruption.
[SPEAKER_03]: Ultimate power ultimately grabs.
[SPEAKER_03]: So he breaks everything down to which a couple of people cough, huff Lehman.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, we'll get to them in a little bit.
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm just saying it's went over, but his concept was good.
[SPEAKER_01]: And that if you look at the space marine legions, they were all, it was
[SPEAKER_01]: that reaching a hundred thousand now they down below ten thousand side note, but hundred thousand soldiers super soul just crazed soldiers in the galaxy outside of the city of the biggest thing they were self-contained because they had that they had a navy they're own navy yet they have their own guard detention it's all of these pieces and so with if a primar turns
[SPEAKER_01]: You have to take on an entire legion.
[SPEAKER_01]: What Gilliam has said was, no, we're going to fracture this down.
[SPEAKER_01]: And we're going to remove the effects of remove the primarks from the top and go down to chapter masters.
[SPEAKER_01]: And that way, we get lots of small, you know, we have called groups of military.
[SPEAKER_01]: So if there was a rebellion, they're easier to put down.
[SPEAKER_01]: Sort of, is it my only issue here?
[SPEAKER_01]: Because the sisters are set up just like the space of a space where they weren't at the time.
[SPEAKER_01]: They weren't included in the kind of stuff.
[SPEAKER_01]: I know, it's ad-meck.
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, yeah, but we we already talked about that.
[SPEAKER_01]: And that's what I'm saying is like this this only it was a nice idea, but it only a thick of the space.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, that's all I'm saying.
[SPEAKER_01]: And this way again.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, it's a fine idea.
[SPEAKER_01]: I guess is what I would say fine-ish.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Now, that being said, the primarx had a pretty solid, hey, what WTF moment.
[SPEAKER_01]: What do you do this?
[SPEAKER_01]: Because they were just about to go, again, on their ass taking missions and found out, wait, and I got to break my entire legion up to which, fifty percent of them didn't.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yep.
[SPEAKER_01]: But they should have.
[SPEAKER_03]: No, they should have.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, they should have.
[SPEAKER_03]: Like a game for life.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's not a good situation.
[SPEAKER_01]: Although, I guess the lion technically broke his legion in half, but even knowing it.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
[SPEAKER_02]: True.
[SPEAKER_01]: Oopsies.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: He was ahead of the game, actually, technically.
[SPEAKER_01]: He's trying to... Now, that being said, the code of six starlies, the code of six starlies, also affected the Imperial Army.
[SPEAKER_01]: This is when we got the split between the Astro-Militarum for intellectual property reasons, and Imperial Navy, which had no models.
[SPEAKER_01]: So I guess we could just call it a Navy.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, intellectual property doesn't matter if you're not going to make any models to patent.
[SPEAKER_01]: So the Astro-Militarme, even also though it got split even further.
[SPEAKER_01]: Before this moment, just for those, into the Astro-Militarme cast, the regiments were all put into the Imperial Army kind of ad hoc.
[SPEAKER_01]: Now, this is when the regiments came up.
[SPEAKER_01]: And this was again designed to control and prevent the spread of rebellion.
[SPEAKER_01]: If a planet were to rebel and be against the emperor, that planet, those soldiers don't ever work with, or associate with social-miller planets,
[SPEAKER_03]: It's a big deal on this because G-Man was, well, everybody in all his brothers were going out and effectively beating the shit out of chaos.
[SPEAKER_03]: He was reclaiming all the supply lanes and logistics and re-conquering planets.
[SPEAKER_03]: And at first he had a real problem with, I got this planet back and he'd leave and then he'd have to put the bus in reverse and go fix it.
[SPEAKER_03]: So he had to go, how can I stop this as much as possible from happening?
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, one of my favorite things of this era is this was actually the Gilliman invented the commissar.
[SPEAKER_01]: That was a Gilliman move.
[SPEAKER_01]: Because he realized we needed a way to control this all the other things.
[SPEAKER_01]: We have these regiments who are from planets, but I don't basically go in with you, but I don't trust anybody any now.
[SPEAKER_01]: And I don't want, basically, but I don't want to put the different planet regiments together, because if one of them got chaos, it'll spread to the other, like an infection.
[SPEAKER_01]: But what I will do is put one dude in that regiment whose job is to shoot them in the head when they do it.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yep.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: So they go, Gilman made commissars.
[SPEAKER_01]: And to my list of reasons I like Gilman.
[SPEAKER_01]: It was the cool ass model.
[SPEAKER_01]: Now, the beauty of Gilman is that once he did all this, the Imperium started getting its footing back.
[SPEAKER_01]: Logistics started working again.
[SPEAKER_01]: Food was flowing.
[SPEAKER_01]: Weaponry was flowing.
[SPEAKER_01]: Everything was moving.
[SPEAKER_01]: So Gilman began to kind of look outward now.
[SPEAKER_01]: And looking outward, it also looked at the wake of a Lehman Russ and Lion of just pure destruction behind them.
[SPEAKER_03]: The biggest thing about this is I'm going to give him a little fall on this because Gillen has started doing good shit.
[SPEAKER_03]: Really good stuff.
[SPEAKER_03]: But he's the person that's holding everything together.
[SPEAKER_03]: When you're the person holding everything together, maybe you don't beam down with the away team.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, he's still, he's still a prime mark.
[SPEAKER_01]: So Gilman at this moment realizes the imperium needs more food, more raw materials, more troops.
[SPEAKER_01]: So he grabs to Brad's point his legion, which is now multiple legions, but there's our multiple chapters, the Navy and the Guard, and starts heading out to start reclaiming worlds and traders.
[SPEAKER_01]: Not doing what he should have done, which is order it from behind, he led from the front.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, and it started off pretty ram is holding on by strings and they are the strings held by G, man.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I'm sorry.
[SPEAKER_03]: He's a ultra genius.
[SPEAKER_01]: And this doesn't, it starts off pretty well and then adds pretty badly.
[SPEAKER_01]: So the first one he runs into is Alpha Legion.
[SPEAKER_01]: We talked about this last week.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's called Escredor.
[SPEAKER_01]: In the Alpha Legion, we're attacking Ultramarines there to try and gain the control of the right side of the galaxy.
[SPEAKER_01]: Gilliman leans them himself.
[SPEAKER_01]: And this is actually kind of a cool story about Gilliman.
[SPEAKER_01]: So alpharius or on my ground, whichever one was alive at this point, no one knows.
[SPEAKER_01]: set a trap.
[SPEAKER_01]: And the trap was based around he knew how Gilman functioned.
[SPEAKER_01]: And he planned, well, the ultramarines are only going to do, they're going to follow the book.
[SPEAKER_01]: And this is how they're going to attack.
[SPEAKER_01]: And when they attack this way, we're going to get him.
[SPEAKER_01]: And Gilliman actually came around the back side in an alpha strike squad team and just took them out at the at the hit headquarters.
[SPEAKER_01]: And as we said, let's like killed alfarias.
[SPEAKER_01]: So Gilliman pretty tactical.
[SPEAKER_01]: But then there was the Sala, which is when Gilman decide to take one on one.
[SPEAKER_01]: I need you to follow him.
[SPEAKER_03]: Am I, if you could hear the marble shaking in my head right now?
[SPEAKER_03]: This is such a bad idea.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_03]: Again, he brought a tiny forestop for.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's the story's good.
[SPEAKER_01]: So I don't want to split it with who want to read it, but if Gilliman falls for a trap for like a better phrase with Fogram.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and Fogram obvious trap and in the end, Fogram who again, Gilliman is a primarque, so he's a large man, like three meters probably, you know, a ton ton of the half.
[SPEAKER_01]: full rooms two to three times that size with twice the arms half the legs, but all the wings and a giant demon blade.
[SPEAKER_01]: So he uses the view and blade, he ends up sliding Gilman's throat with it, at which point the alternately see this, grab Gilman and his body and take it and take it back with them.
[SPEAKER_01]: They jump, they shove in a stasis pod and then they shove the stasis pod in McCrick.
[SPEAKER_01]: And for ten thousand years,
[SPEAKER_01]: In the States, it was hangs out there.
[SPEAKER_01]: That was the end of Gilman's story until two thousand seventeen or so.
[SPEAKER_01]: It might have been six.
[SPEAKER_03]: Weirdly enough, this took a little while.
[SPEAKER_01]: Gilman was putting ship together for a while in the more seriously.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but this happened in M. thirty-two.
[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's the same thing.
[SPEAKER_01]: The writing is where you read it.
[SPEAKER_01]: Like, well, Gilman got a ton of stuff.
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, the affair is a primarx isn't asleep.
[SPEAKER_01]: He got a lot done in a couple hundred years, basically.
[SPEAKER_01]: And then he did a nine thousand year nap.
[SPEAKER_03]: And then we had the end of seventh edition, the gathering star books.
[SPEAKER_03]: And we got G-Man back.
[SPEAKER_01]: Good G-Man back.
[SPEAKER_03]: And so we're going to do a story line, too.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, we're going to do a whole cast of story lines.
[SPEAKER_01]: So if you feel like, you know, not satiated, what we're about to do here, neither are we.
[SPEAKER_01]: I would have spent a lot of time on Unari.
[SPEAKER_01]: I love this story.
[SPEAKER_01]: So Bellassari is called St.
[SPEAKER_01]: Celestine and a few others who were on Katie at its destruction.
[SPEAKER_01]: ended up jumping into the web way with some help with some new Eldar friends that they've made while traveling in the web way.
[SPEAKER_01]: Call was able to perfect a suit of power.
[SPEAKER_01]: He'd been working on forever called the armor of fate and this armor made it's it's where impervious the poison.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's what it does, Brad.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's what it does.
[SPEAKER_01]: The regular space marine armor couldn't do this, obviously.
[SPEAKER_01]: But luckily, this one suit of armor, specifically, I didn't write the book, someone else did.
[SPEAKER_01]: It actually did all, in addition, he had the power of the ember and the warp in of itself.
[SPEAKER_01]: Let's just say, the next part of the story is longer than I'm about to say.
[SPEAKER_01]: They came out of the web way on McRag, walked up to the temple
[SPEAKER_01]: in which Gilman's body is being stored in the stasis and tried to just walk into it.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, Marty.
[SPEAKER_03]: It's Calgary.
[SPEAKER_03]: It was not super.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, Marty.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's Calgary.
[SPEAKER_01]: It was on team.
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't, I'm going to murder you with my double power fist.
[SPEAKER_03]: Well, so, why are there seen us there?
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, exactly.
[SPEAKER_01]: Also, there's Eldar.
[SPEAKER_01]: You're not bringing Eldar into my primar.
[SPEAKER_01]: But that's what I'm doing.
[SPEAKER_01]: And they load.
[SPEAKER_01]: We literally short speech, by the way.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it wasn't.
[SPEAKER_03]: They were like, come on, man.
[SPEAKER_03]: And he was like, excellent argument.
[SPEAKER_01]: They were with pretty please.
[SPEAKER_01]: And that was enough.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: So they do let him in.
[SPEAKER_01]: They take Gilliman's basically dead body and they put him in the armor of fate and instantly, Gilliman wakes up.
[SPEAKER_01]: And well, well refreshed by the way.
[SPEAKER_01]: But he was in a little bit of a mood.
[SPEAKER_01]: He woke up as he wakes up the black legion attacks and Gilliman puts on his boots of mighty ass stealing my line.
[SPEAKER_03]: He did.
[SPEAKER_03]: He gets up.
[SPEAKER_00]: It just goes awesome.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: What?
[SPEAKER_01]: No.
[SPEAKER_01]: No.
[SPEAKER_01]: And water's out there.
[SPEAKER_01]: And just beats the hell out of this Black Legion invasion.
[SPEAKER_03]: And that's not even the cool.
[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, that battle's super cool.
[SPEAKER_03]: However, G-Man goes man, I'm assuming after I got after I was filmed, that you continue to do exactly what I was doing in reforging the imperium into the unlanded.
[SPEAKER_03]: amazing galaxy spanning empire that we were going to look around the crag you why is this place shitty why and then he basically went oh let me down low the last ten thousand years of news and just went
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I'm going to beat the shit out of everybody.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, he effectively, not effectively.
[SPEAKER_01]: He did downloaded all the goings on the Imperium and just went, I'm going to Terra.
[SPEAKER_01]: Right now, now, and started going back towards Terra at which point this resurrection of a primarck is to say it wasn't an easy path.
[SPEAKER_01]: He has to get through Magnus, a bloodthirsty.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, Cairo's fate, we either, weaver.
[SPEAKER_01]: Also, but luckily, he did have, and by the way, he murdered that bloodthirsty.
[SPEAKER_01]: Horlain, Cairo's was a little bit closer.
[SPEAKER_03]: He does have a posse of peeps with him.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, he did have your brain, numerous Harley Quinn's.
[SPEAKER_01]: Cypher shows up randomly.
[SPEAKER_01]: This is a silence, custodes.
[SPEAKER_01]: Four different chapters showed up at some point in time.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: All the help him reach his final destination.
[SPEAKER_01]: He then gets back to Tara, him and Trajan Valoris enter the Emperor's chamber.
[SPEAKER_01]: And I'll put a, Gilman went into the Emperor's chamber pretty pissed off.
[SPEAKER_01]: The Emperor apparently does wake up and speaks to them while in there.
[SPEAKER_01]: No record of what was said and Gilman and Trajan are telling, but Gilman comes out of the chamber more angry than he went in the chamber.
[SPEAKER_01]: comes out and makes himself now the Lord commander of the Imperium, as well as the Imperial Regiate, which is also as the dictator of the Empire of the Imperium.
[SPEAKER_01]: There is no one more powerful in the Imperium than Gilliman, not even close.
[SPEAKER_03]: Remember all this stuff he didn't we is breaking stuff apart.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, he just took your troll of the entire get all of its under me now and he this is again.
[SPEAKER_01]: He's a benevolent dictator though.
[SPEAKER_01]: He's like the watchers of the dark versus Nargling's.
[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, the Lord's retired and he has been
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, but if you put on them again, I hate them so much.
[SPEAKER_03]: I'm so happy when they tried to turn on him and trade in.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and they just just like, you know, I'll just be ahead of all of you.
[SPEAKER_01]: What do you basically did?
[SPEAKER_00]: So not all of them.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yes.
[SPEAKER_03]: True.
[SPEAKER_01]: Not every single one of them.
[SPEAKER_01]: They did think they were slick.
[SPEAKER_01]: They worked well.
[SPEAKER_01]: And then now.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Then work on still.
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, they've also went after Gilliman and trade in.
[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, they were in a room with trading while they tried to turn on it.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_03]: Well, they also thought trading was turning on, and then he was like, yeah, that was never happening.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, here's my sword, actually my spear sword, but anyway.
[SPEAKER_01]: So Gilman then tries to write the ship.
[SPEAKER_01]: So him and Carl work together, they finalized the employment of the Primera's project.
[SPEAKER_01]: So he just effectively rearm's the space marine for us with better troops and weapons.
[SPEAKER_03]: This is a big thing because he also they make a shit ton of new marine.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, any new marine.
[SPEAKER_01]: Huge.
[SPEAKER_01]: Who are bigger, stronger and faster?
[SPEAKER_03]: The endowment is crusade is the biggest.
[SPEAKER_03]: It might even be bigger.
[SPEAKER_03]: on scale than the original crusades were.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I'm still mad about because they, you know, I know what chaos players boo you.
[SPEAKER_01]: So this was great.
[SPEAKER_01]: They made the primaries Marines in eighth edition.
[SPEAKER_01]: They had two bones and every other space Marine had one moon and the chaos players lost their minds until ninth edition releases and now they're all the same.
[SPEAKER_01]: And I don't like that.
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm sorry, deal with it.
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't like it.
[SPEAKER_01]: I think primarismarines, I'm okay with the primarismarines being bigger, stronger, faster than chaos marines and maybe they're marines.
[SPEAKER_01]: Not then what are the, what are the, what are the infected chaos called the possessed that the possessed, but you know, just due to the warp, whatever.
[SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, the next thing Gilman does is he writes what's called the Codex Imperialis, where the Codex are star days, rewrote the military structure of the Imperium.
[SPEAKER_01]: The Codex Imperialis rewrote the Imperium itself.
[SPEAKER_01]: And actually, again, guys a master just killed a lot of bureaucracy and the redundancy that was making the Imperium stagnate.
[SPEAKER_01]: It allowed the Imperium to actually move a lot.
[SPEAKER_03]: Please, I was trying to work from inside.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, because he originally, his original thoughts were
[SPEAKER_03]: I'll just destroy all of this.
[SPEAKER_03]: And then he gets convinced, hey, it's just too big to devastate.
[SPEAKER_01]: And also, there's a lot of good pieces to it.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's just, it's stuff like he started, he pulled a lot of power away from Piero governors.
[SPEAKER_01]: He started the punch department making it crazy.
[SPEAKER_01]: He started making it so that, you know, your power is derived from what you're doing for the Imperium, which was a much better way to do it.
[SPEAKER_01]: After that, Gilman declares the first of his crusade, which is the endominous crusade, where it's just, he's looking at the galaxy.
[SPEAKER_01]: This is, again, post the Gil, this is postabbed on breaking Kadia.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, chaos is running rampant throughout it, and Gilman just went,
[SPEAKER_01]: No, those are not chaos worlds.
[SPEAKER_01]: Those are of period.
[SPEAKER_03]: And let's just set the table forward, Jim, and this gives us into matter of time.
[SPEAKER_03]: Jim, it comes up.
[SPEAKER_03]: The Imperium is not the Imperium that he left.
[SPEAKER_03]: You know what I mean?
[SPEAKER_03]: It is all ultra religious, you know, which is anti what he thought.
[SPEAKER_03]: And it is just layer upon layer of nonsense.
[SPEAKER_03]: And oh, yeah, a bunch of things he never knew existed are right up on the gates.
[SPEAKER_01]: The only two is also the Imperium was losing a lot.
[SPEAKER_01]: And under Gilman, you know, the Imperium, like the difference is before Gilman took control, the Imperium was basically just a propaganda machine where the world's systems would disappear.
[SPEAKER_01]: And the Imperium would be like, oh, yeah, just a solar flare.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, or they never existed.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, exactly.
[SPEAKER_01]: And what happens is that the Imperial citizens knew they knew the impereing was, maybe not losing, but they were dying.
[SPEAKER_00]: They weren't.
[SPEAKER_01]: We were getting clushed.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I'm not saying the citizens have been out of known that, but under German, they began reclaiming world.
[SPEAKER_01]: The impureum started to win again once Gillham and came back.
[SPEAKER_01]: Because I think that's where you came back.
[SPEAKER_03]: We were getting crushed by chaos.
[SPEAKER_03]: We were getting crushed by the Sherenens.
[SPEAKER_01]: uh... we're getting smashed by necrons because no one would acknowledge they exist exactly and gilliman just was like no we're going to and for the first time imperial citizens see a light it's a very distant light at the end of the tunnel but it's a light this then of course takes the back foot to eight horrifying the aggressive tyranny and invasion of the galaxy
[SPEAKER_01]: And what's Gilliman do?
[SPEAKER_01]: Nope.
[SPEAKER_01]: He marshals the forces and takes the Imperium to go systematically destroy each and every tendril, which for those of you who play space marine too, that's the backdrop there.
[SPEAKER_01]: You're doing your part of this crusade, the Leviathan.
[SPEAKER_01]: This is also while taking out chaos incursions, jukari raids, necron tomb worlds, whatever the hell the tower up there.
[SPEAKER_03]: He's putting out fires across the entire gas and effectively too.
[SPEAKER_01]: He's not just pushing forward before he came in.
[SPEAKER_01]: They're being pulled in fifty different directions.
[SPEAKER_01]: Now he's here.
[SPEAKER_01]: And he's like, no, we're still being pulled into fifty different directions, but we're going to win forty eight of them.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: So that's Gilman.
[SPEAKER_01]: He does have a nice little piece of ring at two later, it's that he's no longer the only primarks of parting the Imperium, which is a nice change.
[SPEAKER_01]: So they deal because not only is he powerful, but he brought a bunch of forces with him.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and we'll get to them a little bit.
[SPEAKER_01]: But before we do, let's get this out of the way.
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, Leeeman Russ, this is Brad's.
[SPEAKER_01]: This is Brad.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, actually, it's Vulcan you like more, but we're pretty close.
[SPEAKER_01]: It is very close and both.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's very close.
[SPEAKER_01]: We'll be right back after a quick break.
[SPEAKER_01]: So we just talked about how Gilman stayed behind at the end of the siege of Territ, a rebuild the Imperium.
[SPEAKER_01]: You know, who didn't?
[SPEAKER_01]: The great wolf.
[SPEAKER_01]: He had stuff, he had some stuff to do, which was, and everything he had to do involved punching and kicking traders.
[SPEAKER_03]: And he does a bananas job of it.
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, he's exceptional.
[SPEAKER_03]: If you're looking for someone's as to get kicked, you do call the space rules.
[SPEAKER_03]: You do.
[SPEAKER_03]: Are they good at policing, trafficking, bureaucracy?
[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, any leave is not.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's actually functional after.
[SPEAKER_03]: No.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: No.
[SPEAKER_01]: But if you just want to W.
[SPEAKER_01]: You're the W, yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, Lehman was very happy to give Gilliman the reins of the, of the Imperium until he got his hologram.
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, he said one back.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, but it was just a picture of his butt sitting on the facts machine.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, exactly.
[SPEAKER_01]: He gets a telegram of, hey, I'm breaking up the legions.
[SPEAKER_01]: This is the code of custodians.
[SPEAKER_01]: You have to follow it and Lehman did not.
[SPEAKER_01]: Lehman very politely said, no, thank you, sir.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_03]: very politely.
[SPEAKER_01]: Very politely.
[SPEAKER_03]: He's upset.
[SPEAKER_03]: It is.
[SPEAKER_03]: He's holding his monocle.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, there was actually some interesting reasons behind that, namely that you cannot draw space wolves from any planet other than Fenris.
[SPEAKER_01]: It doesn't work very well.
[SPEAKER_03]: Also, you can't do the bananas kind of shift in the space we'll have to deal with out a lot of support.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: So Lehman at this stage is pretty singular and purpose and thought.
[SPEAKER_01]: And that was tracking down every single one of his fallen brothers and bringing them to justice.
[SPEAKER_01]: The problem that Lehman ran into though with that was that they were all inside the eye of terror.
[SPEAKER_03]: And his legion said, we can't go into the eye of terror.
[SPEAKER_03]: That's the a material.
[SPEAKER_03]: You can't go there.
[SPEAKER_03]: So Lehman, this is actually part of this is can.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_03]: Lehman throws a giant party in one of the great halls.
[SPEAKER_03]: It gets bonkers nuts and effectively just goes, dooses, bro's, I'm gonna go beat up the eye of tear by myself, which he did.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_03]: And then he just, in my mind, he also just doesn't ignore the laws of physics and was like, the map says it's like super close.
[SPEAKER_03]: I'll just walk there.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, because it doesn't say how he got there.
[SPEAKER_01]: No, it just says, yeah, they did a, he had a big party and he went out for milk and cigarettes and ever showed and never came back.
[SPEAKER_01]: He did not come back.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: And so this, that's it.
[SPEAKER_03]: And he'd lead you in after him.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: But the space wolves do still, all right, this is, they do find this stupid, and I'm just gonna go and go.
[SPEAKER_01]: So there's something called a great hunt in which case the space wolves get together and go on a hunt to go track down their primarks somewhere in the galaxy for no reason.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_03]: Well, the only thing that pisses me off is like the whole lore was when the thirteenth season came back.
[SPEAKER_03]: Ross was going to be with him.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_03]: The wolf ended everybody else came back and we don't have Ross.
[SPEAKER_03]: Well, she got us last year.
[SPEAKER_03]: Actually, she got us two years ago.
[SPEAKER_01]: Mm-hmm.
[SPEAKER_01]: What I will say is that the expectation is that Ross is not dead because if he were to die, you'd see it in the space.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, they would, they'd feel the same explanation.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, he's not dead.
[SPEAKER_01]: But where he is, it's probably somewhere in the warp and we get the correct.
[SPEAKER_01]: She'll discover that may not be a good thing.
[SPEAKER_03]: Also, again, we know the time works wildly different, so he might think that he left last night.
[SPEAKER_01]: True.
[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
[SPEAKER_01]: Let's do a quick one.
[SPEAKER_01]: Sanguenius, also very dead.
[SPEAKER_01]: Ultra dead.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, space Jesus.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: We'll do a blade in those cast.
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't have much else to say about Sanguenius.
[SPEAKER_03]: He is so wild.
[SPEAKER_01]: The OP.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, no, he is not.
[SPEAKER_03]: He was, sorry.
[SPEAKER_03]: What he is.
[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, at the time, he was the best, the Ferris, the, he has angel wings.
[SPEAKER_03]: He was like a rock star.
[SPEAKER_00]: Gilman.
[SPEAKER_03]: Gilman was laughingly popular compared to saying, Guinness.
[SPEAKER_01]: But it's very real quick.
[SPEAKER_01]: Like, Gilman, actually the lion's close.
[SPEAKER_03]: No.
[SPEAKER_01]: Really a lot of this all year right because sandwich can fly you're a good point.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_03]: It will also the fact is the lines of bummer.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yes.
[SPEAKER_03]: St.
[SPEAKER_03]: Guinness is the person that you put up the talk to ever.
[SPEAKER_03]: Sure.
[SPEAKER_00]: I fall asleep first and read the lines.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, the original one over the Horace Harris, he bookles it like, this is, this is like your sparring.
[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, he, he's just, he's very grim.
[SPEAKER_03]: There's a reason that their special rules called grim demeanor.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_03]: And while the legion got blasted and it has been, they've been suffering from the rage, the black rage, since.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yes.
[SPEAKER_03]: So like him being dead was a big deal.
[SPEAKER_03]: He was OP.
[SPEAKER_03]: He was ridiculous.
[SPEAKER_03]: And now he doesn't.
[SPEAKER_01]: So it's time on someone a bit more fun to me.
[SPEAKER_01]: Correct.
[SPEAKER_01]: Also known as how Brad was able to infiltrate, censuring and dreadnoughts.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yep.
[SPEAKER_03]: Right in guard.
[SPEAKER_03]: But the best part about this is they just refused to accept that he's an invisible demon dragon spot.
[SPEAKER_01]: No, they accept it.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's in the book.
[SPEAKER_01]: So let's get there.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: The Legion doesn't.
[SPEAKER_01]: They don't know about it.
[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, people know, and there's a lot of people.
[SPEAKER_03]: This isn't like a super secret, like no one refuses to acknowledge it.
[SPEAKER_03]: This is if you had Bigfoot sitting next to you and you went, I don't think I'm going to take a picture if that's.
[SPEAKER_03]: He's playing PlayStation right now in my basement.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's what I'd say.
[SPEAKER_01]: Let's dive into this.
[SPEAKER_01]: So after this fun five core acts in the Raven Guard are a fairly functioning.
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean,
[SPEAKER_01]: The term that comes by they were decimated, but it's actually the inverse where nine out of ten are dead and save awareness.
[SPEAKER_03]: What do they have?
[SPEAKER_03]: Fifty?
[SPEAKER_01]: It was nothing.
[SPEAKER_01]: It was a couple of years ago.
[SPEAKER_01]: Nobody.
[SPEAKER_01]: So, but this is the reason I bring this story up is that this is a really weird piece of the emperor.
[SPEAKER_01]: The Emperor actually got involved with Corex the Raven Guard in a positive way, which is not something he does.
[SPEAKER_01]: He actually took a portion of the consciousness the Emperor away from the Magnus destroyed webway, the Astronomicon and whatever else he was working on, to actually talk to Corex directly.
[SPEAKER_01]: and he told Correx to help rebuild his legion.
[SPEAKER_01]: All of his primar stuff was just was still functional.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's like any dad has a shed.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's full of like stuff he doesn't need anymore, but doesn't want to throw away.
[SPEAKER_01]: Except like the Emperor's thing is how to fuse warp with living beings.
[SPEAKER_03]: And I've got a little bit of advance.
[SPEAKER_01]: And I've got a collection of power cords, the things I don't own anymore.
[SPEAKER_01]: So you know, six, one, half dozen of the other.
[SPEAKER_01]: So the Emperor tells Correx where he can find the project, how to reactivate it.
[SPEAKER_01]: However, classic Emperor, he also tells him the place is, it's very complicated and advanced guard system in front of it, and he doesn't have the time to turn it off.
[SPEAKER_01]: So Correx is going to have to do this.
[SPEAKER_01]: So blah, blah, blah, trials and tribulations.
[SPEAKER_03]: It in my mind though, as he completes all this, the Emperor looks in his pocket and goes,
[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, I had a flick just a beaver here.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you should just press this button.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, just decide the system is the most powerful.
[SPEAKER_01]: So he being in the galaxy.
[SPEAKER_01]: What couldn't it just use his mind to say, Oh, if Korrax shows up, let him in.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: And then it's that Korrax has the like, you know, do cartwheels through through laser.
[SPEAKER_04]: The laser.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: They're all in stuff and like, Oh, I've got it.
[SPEAKER_01]: But I'm like, Korax does this, and then returns back to his home planet of deliverance, which I'm assuming is not named after the movie.
[SPEAKER_01]: And the cool thing about this, what he's got is with the Primark project, it's no longer organ implantation.
[SPEAKER_01]: He could actually that grow an entire marine.
[SPEAKER_03]: This is, I love this, but I hate this the same time, because why aren't they doing this the whole time?
[SPEAKER_03]: He makes like a, a delegion like,
[SPEAKER_01]: Now, I know, you're like, to same with the grainites who are imbued with the emperor, is that of being imbued with chaos entities.
[SPEAKER_03]: Like, he just, whatever, he pumps out marines at a hundred percent rate.
[SPEAKER_01]: This part's cool though.
[SPEAKER_01]: So they take this and they decide they make five hundred new marines.
[SPEAKER_01]: But we've mentioned Alpha Legion the past.
[SPEAKER_01]: Alpha Legion had this ability to infiltrate and they play a long game.
[SPEAKER_01]: The Alpha Legion actually infiltrated some of the original Marines who survived this fawn five were actually Alpha Legion who were posing as Raven guard.
[SPEAKER_01]: So the alpha lead and so they play a long game.
[SPEAKER_01]: And what they did was they actually tainted the genomes of the raven guard being used in this experiment with a mutation that was made from demon blood.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's just simply a big excessive, but whatever.
[SPEAKER_01]: And what comes out of this are these five hundred space marines are horrifically mutated.
[SPEAKER_01]: They've got horns.
[SPEAKER_01]: They've got wings.
[SPEAKER_01]: They've got fangs.
[SPEAKER_01]: They can actually spit ass.
[SPEAKER_01]: They're just kidding.
[SPEAKER_01]: They can't do that.
[SPEAKER_01]: No space marines can.
[SPEAKER_01]: And these, they're horrifying mutations.
[SPEAKER_01]: Now I will say they end up actually keeping them though.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, and their chapter master's coolest house and I played them.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: And you know that they became the Raptor squads.
[SPEAKER_03]: That's why I dropped.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, if you want to build a really cool army, build a Ravenguard Raptor squads.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's probably technically correct to kill them all.
[SPEAKER_03]: Also I'm told they're green.
[SPEAKER_03]: Are they green?
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Do you?
[SPEAKER_01]: But with these five hundred mutated space marines, corex decides to just blow the project up.
[SPEAKER_03]: Which this is the part that I didn't like because it clearly got sabotaged.
[SPEAKER_03]: Just do it again, man.
[SPEAKER_03]: And don't have how about this?
[SPEAKER_03]: Have somebody test for demon blood?
[SPEAKER_01]: You in your ideas?
[SPEAKER_01]: better just to give up and not try again.
[SPEAKER_01]: And so what happens is that Corax and his legion begins working working to slowly but steadily build the legion up piece after piece the old way.
[SPEAKER_01]: So finding recruits doing organ implantation, it's going to take and it takes thousands of years to get back to where they were.
[SPEAKER_03]: He gets so emo because of this.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, now Corax was always
[SPEAKER_01]: He was always he was always it's he was the good emo still go and curse was the bad emo he has can just go now there that down here to go with it.
[SPEAKER_01]: He actually the thing is you say this mess, but he kind of looks like lead singer like another cure true
[SPEAKER_01]: Then she corrects his depression and gets so bad that he just locks himself in a castle for a year.
[SPEAKER_01]: And then after lock his off in the castle, just locks out.
[SPEAKER_03]: It gives John's favorite last line.
[SPEAKER_01]: He just says never more.
[SPEAKER_01]: But that's what they're even because he's the Raven.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's not clever.
[SPEAKER_01]: GW that's lame.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's just lame.
[SPEAKER_01]: This would fit a bit the end of his story, but then we get actually awesomeness.
[SPEAKER_01]: Super awesome.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_03]: Because Corex, who already was, I mean, out of the primer, some was by far the ultimate stealth ninja.
[SPEAKER_03]: And then he gets juiced up by the war.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, you're jumping it.
[SPEAKER_01]: You're jumping.
[SPEAKER_01]: Let's see, let's see.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, no, you're jumping.
[SPEAKER_01]: You're jumping because let's set the story.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's set the stage first for you.
[SPEAKER_03]: Just before we went there, he was, come on, he was still, well, no one heard from him.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's like no one has heard from him for ever.
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm saying before he went into the war, he's, oh, I see.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: So the Raven Guard, the Raven Guard are masters of fighting from the shadows.
[SPEAKER_01]: But anyway, the word bears are, as we talked the last one, they are reclaiming territory and they're growing within the warp.
[SPEAKER_01]: And one of the word bear, like, I don't care, leaders.
[SPEAKER_01]: was building a giant complex to honor Lord Gar.
[SPEAKER_01]: Then all of a sudden, all of the word bear, the starties, just started being found killed.
[SPEAKER_01]: And not like, like, oh, he's dead.
[SPEAKER_01]: Like, he's ripped to pieces.
[SPEAKER_03]: He was doing predator stuff.
[SPEAKER_03]: He was pulling out spines, taking trophies.
[SPEAKER_03]: He was just doing this.
[SPEAKER_01]: So there's a dark apostle who's overseeing a lot of this.
[SPEAKER_01]: While standing there, discovers that the shadows themselves are rising up to kill them.
[SPEAKER_01]: So, yeah, he kind of runs away.
[SPEAKER_01]: And while running away from this death shadow, he calls out to Lorgar for help.
[SPEAKER_01]: And as we said at this stage, Lorgar is a full fledged demon prince of chaos.
[SPEAKER_01]: and Lorgar in classic Lorgar.
[SPEAKER_03]: So fifty percent discount.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, exactly.
[SPEAKER_01]: He still can't fight.
[SPEAKER_01]: So Lorgar shows up as a demon prince ready to take, you know, kick ass and take names.
[SPEAKER_01]: And the shadow in front of him, he realizes is Korax, which is cool.
[SPEAKER_01]: The second part is what's way cooler about it, which is that Korax, after years upon years, he thousands upon thousands of years in the warp, the immaterial stripped away what they describe as basically the appearance of humanity that the emperor put on them.
[SPEAKER_01]: This is the first time they ever call out what it primarch really is.
[SPEAKER_01]: A primarch is warp made manifest.
[SPEAKER_01]: their demons in physical form.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, the emperor made.
[SPEAKER_01]: He effectively took war or actually I should basically.
[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, yeah, God.
[SPEAKER_03]: So it's more he kind of he effectively what he did is he took impaired.
[SPEAKER_03]: He took in material the war.
[SPEAKER_01]: And he encased it in the flesh.
[SPEAKER_01]: And what happens.
[SPEAKER_01]: So Corox, another hand, has been in the immaterial so long that that all the material around him has melted away.
[SPEAKER_03]: And well, it's also, you remember, the material that warp essence itself is about thought.
[SPEAKER_03]: He became what his inner being was.
[SPEAKER_01]: Exactly.
[SPEAKER_01]: And so, you know, as to say, Laura Garer, who's all proud of himself or finally being a prominent demon prince, is fighting
[SPEAKER_01]: a wildly big God.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's basically a God and Korax beats him silly and Lord Garp pulls a Sir Robin and brought him bravely runs away and actually dies behind an obsidian door.
[SPEAKER_01]: And this is actually one of my favorite lines.
[SPEAKER_01]: Korax then yells through the door that I have your scent now.
[SPEAKER_01]: And if it takes me a thousand years, I will find you and kill you.
[SPEAKER_01]: It'll never stop.
[SPEAKER_01]: a never stop in Lordgar properly runs away.
[SPEAKER_03]: And it hides.
[SPEAKER_03]: And just says now, in court, is there to this day?
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_03]: He's somewhere in the world of work, a boogie man for all the kids, guys, because he's, for instance, doing a reunion tour of death going, hey, man, I'm selling death.
[SPEAKER_03]: You want some?
[SPEAKER_03]: Too bad if you said no, because I'm coming in.
[SPEAKER_01]: After Correx, let's move on to who I refer to as the most forgettable primarke.
[SPEAKER_01]: You do hate him.
[SPEAKER_01]: Check it like he's useless.
[SPEAKER_01]: Check it like on.
[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm not, I'm not trying to be a dick guys.
[SPEAKER_01]: There's just nothing on him.
[SPEAKER_01]: There are no, there's basically no books.
[SPEAKER_01]: He plays no role in modern forty K at all.
[SPEAKER_03]: And the horrors here say he did some stuff.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, modern forty K. And this is the worst part is that he is.
[SPEAKER_03]: Ignobly, he just doesn't.
[SPEAKER_01]: He doesn't even die or anything.
[SPEAKER_01]: He's just gone.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, so ready.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, when the people are going to be like, what are you talking about?
[SPEAKER_01]: Watch this.
[SPEAKER_01]: So he was from a planet called Chagorian post horse heresy.
[SPEAKER_01]: They go in the scouring while on the scouring.
[SPEAKER_01]: Conna and his buddies are beating up chaos.
[SPEAKER_01]: They find out that his home planet of Chagorian had been attacked by the true curry.
[SPEAKER_01]: He goes back the jukari raid tens of thousands of citizens are gone and we're taking the dark realm.
[SPEAKER_01]: Jogadai gets upset and declares that he will avenge his people.
[SPEAKER_01]: He found, vowed and he jumps into the mail stream.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yep, there you go.
[SPEAKER_01]: The end.
[SPEAKER_01]: He's in the dark city.
[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe somewhere.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's the joke.
[SPEAKER_01]: And so all we have right now are jokes that he's somewhere in the in the web way.
[SPEAKER_01]: Because that he went into the web way to track down the arc on that rate.
[SPEAKER_01]: His home world.
[SPEAKER_01]: But he's never come back.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's been ten thousand years.
[SPEAKER_01]: And so the joke is that he got there.
[SPEAKER_01]: Found the arena's and just hang out.
[SPEAKER_01]: And the hang of this is awesome.
[SPEAKER_01]: And now we're just living there with just, you know, married to some like, you know, which
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: There's nothing there.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's it.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's it.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's God.
[SPEAKER_01]: Sorry.
[SPEAKER_01]: Sorry.
[SPEAKER_03]: He had some cool defense though.
[SPEAKER_01]: Sure.
[SPEAKER_01]: He was in terror.
[SPEAKER_01]: He was there.
[SPEAKER_01]: He was totally part of the Lord.
[SPEAKER_01]: And someone went, I don't like writing this anymore.
[SPEAKER_01]: And then it's basically wrote him out of the books.
[SPEAKER_03]: Let's talk about my boy.
[SPEAKER_01]: Let's do Vulcan.
[SPEAKER_01]: All right, much, much.
[SPEAKER_01]: So just like Lehman Ross to the end of heresy Vulcan also disappeared.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, buddy gave a glitch.
[SPEAKER_01]: No, we're tick.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's it.
[SPEAKER_01]: The difference is everyone knows Lehman went into the warp.
[SPEAKER_03]: Well, Vulcan did have a tough time.
[SPEAKER_03]: Old Conrad, just torture killing every day.
[SPEAKER_01]: Multiple times today.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Like, oh, for a while.
[SPEAKER_01]: But anyway, but Vulcan disappears.
[SPEAKER_01]: However, before he left, he told his Legion that in times of great need, he would reappear.
[SPEAKER_01]: And he did, oh, oh, did he?
[SPEAKER_01]: So, war of the beast, this is maybe one of the most badass badasses of all the Imperium in this battle.
[SPEAKER_01]: So, the world is called Caldera.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's during the war of the beast is under invasion by works.
[SPEAKER_01]: And the Caldera has no space Marines.
[SPEAKER_01]: It has no sisters.
[SPEAKER_01]: It just has imperial guard and I am a lot of them.
[SPEAKER_01]: However, Caldera has a history during, if he was the heresy, but it's almost like it was a great crusade.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, vaulting destroyed Caldera.
[SPEAKER_03]: He blasted the planet.
[SPEAKER_03]: And here's the thing about the Salamanders.
[SPEAKER_03]: The Salamanders are close to the good guys that you're going to get because they actually give a shit about collateral damage.
[SPEAKER_03]: They're effectively a shit on a pallidins.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_03]: And he held a vow that he was always going to protect this planet.
[SPEAKER_01]: And he did this planet is under complete assault from the orcs and out of nowhere, Vulcan appears with his thunder hammer.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, appears like infinity war with force.
[SPEAKER_01]: This is awesome.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
[SPEAKER_01]: So he's got his thunder hammer and it starts killing orcs thousands of orcs at time until eventually orcs overwhelmed him, kill him at which point he instant regenerates got back up picked up his hammer and went back to killing.
[SPEAKER_01]: He single handedly stopped a full organization.
[SPEAKER_01]: This is a badass.
[SPEAKER_01]: He's also by far the biggest of the prime guests.
[SPEAKER_01]: Then he, what my favorite part about this is then the bigger problem with Caldera is that there's actually a gravity generator that works built to turn it into basically an attack moon.
[SPEAKER_01]: So he just walks into the gravity generator with his hammer blows it up blows himself up and then gets regenerated back to life.
[SPEAKER_01]: And let me just walk away.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: It all ends, though, with it's still the war of the beast, and there is, you know, a beast.
[SPEAKER_01]: Vulcan goes to Ulnar now called Armageddon, or she's soon to be called.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's our formally called Armageddon.
[SPEAKER_01]: They've moved it, or the other way around.
[SPEAKER_01]: He's in or whatever way it is.
[SPEAKER_01]: Like, I was tracking of, at which point that's called the same planet.
[SPEAKER_01]: There, he's joins it both a bunch of space.
[SPEAKER_01]: Marines, they go, put down and kill the beast.
[SPEAKER_01]: They walk into the final complex and the beast turns out to be a ten meter high or corbaus to which Vulcan turns to the other space.
[SPEAKER_01]: Marines and says, yeah, you guys can bogey out.
[SPEAKER_01]: I got this.
[SPEAKER_03]: He's like, I'll take the big guy.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: And they all do, and he does Vulcan smashes the beast with his thunder hammer.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_03]: And you stop.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_03]: You effectively sucked all the energy out of the generator.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: There's slams him to a generator and blows up the generator and Vulcan and the beast.
[SPEAKER_03]: Which also when we say power generator, it was more like nuclear reactor.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, this is, and so this again kills Vulcan, but we know he's not dead.
[SPEAKER_01]: Vulcan's due to come back at any time.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's just whenever he's in most need.
[SPEAKER_03]: And you also have to go into it a little bit.
[SPEAKER_03]: There's been multiple.
[SPEAKER_03]: I'll get you all that for this because it's there is the one Canon thing, but I don't believe it completely.
[SPEAKER_03]: Be out of remember about how same Vulcan is because Vulcan's had some horrific deaths.
[SPEAKER_01]: And obviously with the nighthunter head, we all can has died thousands of times, thousands.
[SPEAKER_03]: And
[SPEAKER_03]: It's a big deal on this.
[SPEAKER_03]: And then we've got orange and stuff.
[SPEAKER_03]: You know, I mean, when we've been in ground blue that up, they could affect the salamander legion.
[SPEAKER_03]: So.
[SPEAKER_03]: Where Vulcan is?
[SPEAKER_03]: He's alive, but I don't exactly know.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's the difference.
[SPEAKER_01]: The Corax is never coming back.
[SPEAKER_01]: He is a warp entity now.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_03]: Well, he's just, he's a lord now.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_03]: He's sorry.
[SPEAKER_03]: He's, you know, he's the, there's the ballad of Corax.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, Lehman is a maybe.
[SPEAKER_01]: I think Vulcan's the most like the easiest one from the bring back.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_03]: because they have the whole thing when they get all the artifacts of Vulcan that he will just be ready to go.
[SPEAKER_03]: So where is he?
[SPEAKER_01]: somewhere somewhere he's he's live for four sure that's and that's enough about lane primarx let's have some fun let's talk about rogule darn will be right back after a quick break rogule love two things in this world building a fort and building a bigger fort while being grumpy and being not fun ever he's never fun
[SPEAKER_01]: But that being said, after the siege of Tara, Rogle took that pretty hard.
[SPEAKER_03]: Well, it's that it's that and then being wildly tricked and having to be saved.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_03]: by his brothers after Purcharabo got the upper hand on him.
[SPEAKER_03]: Well, yeah, I was quick after that.
[SPEAKER_01]: But even before that, it was days before that, Rogol, I mean, the issue with Rogol is, let's go through the Rogol failings.
[SPEAKER_01]: First off, chorus and the fleet enter the galaxy successfully.
[SPEAKER_03]: Also smoke festivals.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, then they blow up the Luna thing.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, we also said that they weren't going to make it past Saturn.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: And they get through the Luna, they land their outside, the imperial gates.
[SPEAKER_01]: then the emperor teleports above the vengeful spirit.
[SPEAKER_01]: Rogles, they're with him to go up there, but gets lost.
[SPEAKER_01]: It takes too long to get lost and then gets to and then doesn't arrive in the bridge until after Sanguineus is killed and the emperor is basically slain.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yes.
[SPEAKER_01]: So Rogles not feeling like this great defender.
[SPEAKER_03]: No, he got zero medals for this.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Then he has this weird thing.
[SPEAKER_01]: So he decides he tries to meditate and he tries solitude and they're not enough.
[SPEAKER_01]: So he builds himself what they call the pain glove.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's basically no sense.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's a just a body suit of mesh and when you wear it, it puts your body on an unending, agonizing pain.
[SPEAKER_03]: He basically puts on a chain, fish, or a chain.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: And it wears it.
[SPEAKER_01]: And he uses this to help himself meditate better and commune.
[SPEAKER_01]: and he decides that some for whatever reason, that his legion needs to be redeemed, but it can be redeemed, but only through action.
[SPEAKER_03]: This is, effectively, this is the beginning one would become the black tumblers.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, continue.
[SPEAKER_01]: Go, yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: They, they head out into the galaxy mostly on an iron word as the confessed.
[SPEAKER_01]: And as we said, walks brutally into a trap.
[SPEAKER_01]: Like blast.
[SPEAKER_01]: It just immense immensely.
[SPEAKER_01]: And again, as Brian was saying earlier, has to be saved by government.
[SPEAKER_01]: So he failed.
[SPEAKER_01]: the Emperor, he failed the Imperium.
[SPEAKER_01]: And now we also failed himself in killing Pettarablanar warriors.
[SPEAKER_01]: So what happens next is just kind of weird for lack of a better phrase.
[SPEAKER_01]: Dorn when
[SPEAKER_01]: Gilliman rolls out the the code of the start is bent is gives Gilliman the middle finger.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's what he does.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yep.
[SPEAKER_01]: But after having to get his butt saved by Gilliman again, he just he goes, all right, well, whatever.
[SPEAKER_01]: But instead of like ten chapters, they split into the they're going to three.
[SPEAKER_01]: The imperial fist initially.
[SPEAKER_01]: There's more later.
[SPEAKER_03]: He gets around this.
[SPEAKER_03]: He uses a bunch of blue clothes on this.
[SPEAKER_03]: He's like, I'm going to split the stuff up.
[SPEAKER_03]: But also he considers the black Templars to be a crusade amongst themselves.
[SPEAKER_03]: That's how we got away with that one.
[SPEAKER_01]: And the crimson fists.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: That was a real face.
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't mean he makes the imperial fist the crimson fists and the black Templars.
[SPEAKER_01]: One of those three seized regular table top play.
[SPEAKER_01]: Crimson fists are actually annoying the table top more because they look a lot like space screens or ultra rings for a distance.
[SPEAKER_01]: And you're like, wait, which one?
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yeah, but they got Pedro.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, well, that that part's cool.
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm thinking of the color scheme.
[SPEAKER_01]: Trust me.
[SPEAKER_01]: I'll see it take me a second.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, this never bothered me.
[SPEAKER_01]: You know, red hands.
[SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, over time, they'd actually just split further.
[SPEAKER_01]: You do get quite a few additional findings.
[SPEAKER_01]: But out of the gate, he doesn't do the full split.
[SPEAKER_01]: He just does a small split.
[SPEAKER_01]: The part of the dorn story that's weird is actually his death, mostly in just how inconsequential it is.
[SPEAKER_01]: There's nothing mental.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, he's dorn is just leading his fist and the battle near the eye of terror.
[SPEAKER_01]: Abidon shows up with his fleet.
[SPEAKER_01]: Dorn and his guys jump aboard Abidon's main ship.
[SPEAKER_01]: And that wasn't a good decision.
[SPEAKER_01]: He dies.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, how do he dies?
[SPEAKER_01]: No record, but somehow, while he was dying, someone cut his hand off for all those letters hand.
[SPEAKER_01]: And to get back, and now they were always called the Imperial Fists.
[SPEAKER_01]: Now they have the fist of their primarq.
[SPEAKER_03]: Also, it doesn't say how he got killed.
[SPEAKER_03]: Somebody told me I'm wrong with this.
[SPEAKER_01]: He just gets killed.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, they just they have no rhyme or reason.
[SPEAKER_03]: He just doesn't make it.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Then that's it.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's, that's the story.
[SPEAKER_01]: I wish I had more.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Um, not that mad screwed.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, no.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's just a weird thing.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's just like, oh, it's this, this, and then oh, yeah, he's dead now.
[SPEAKER_03]: Well, they didn't even make it an epic fight.
[SPEAKER_03]: Like, the one thing that dude did do was kick ass.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_03]: And he died in a mysterious random raid.
[SPEAKER_01]: It was for nothing.
[SPEAKER_01]: For no reason.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, no value at all.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's not.
[SPEAKER_01]: All right, but let's, let's close on a high note, then in the own, the lion.
[SPEAKER_01]: So the newest and the greatest, uh, uh, primar claw.
[SPEAKER_01]: I would argue.
[SPEAKER_03]: So, and as though it's bad as the return book now that when he does the whole walks,
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, no, it's fine.
[SPEAKER_03]: The forest marks and stuff.
[SPEAKER_03]: I like anything that pushes the story forward.
[SPEAKER_03]: I do like that.
[SPEAKER_01]: No, you're like, eighties action movies.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, that's it.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's what this is.
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, a hundred percent.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's, it's like, he took the fallen and made them.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's like, risen.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's like, thirty percent montage.
[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, he does gather up the band.
[SPEAKER_01]: Like I'm actually like that book should come with like a soundtrack is play behind you.
[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, uh, uh, just your montage music over and over again.
[SPEAKER_01]: It is great because the team music just playing over and over again.
[SPEAKER_01]: He collects everybody to get back.
[SPEAKER_01]: Let's go.
[SPEAKER_01]: So we cover the Dark Angels cast a quick recap and to the heresy, the lion went on a rampage and I'm a hardcore rampage.
[SPEAKER_01]: If you're chaos, I think it's worse if you saw the lion than Lehman.
[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, the line was just bent.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, like I don't like anyone who's anyone who's even like smile that someone in gas is taking a beating today.
[SPEAKER_01]: So, but before the heresy kind of really got going, his homework of Calaban got totally engulfed in a warp storm.
[SPEAKER_01]: At some point during the scouring, you might remember, I'm basically when the war storm just dissipates.
[SPEAKER_01]: And so the Dark Angels who haven't been home in hundreds of years rush back to Calaban to go check on it.
[SPEAKER_01]: And as soon as they get into orbit around Calaban, they get attacked from the surface of Calaban.
[SPEAKER_01]: The line of the Dark Angels
[SPEAKER_01]: Go on and, you know, butt-ticking crusade and discover that Luther, who's the lion's adoptive older brother, basically, had turned a chaos.
[SPEAKER_03]: Of course he did.
[SPEAKER_03]: He just had tried to kill at the time.
[SPEAKER_03]: When he sent him home, the lion had sent it because he tried to kill him.
[SPEAKER_03]: And for whatever reason he sent him home.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, we went over this.
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not that I was acting to my hatred of the Luther writing.
[SPEAKER_01]: But anyway,
[SPEAKER_01]: The lion confronts Luther just the dark angels fleet bombard the planet and the planet gets broken to pieces and the lion is nowhere to be found.
[SPEAKER_01]: They found Luther.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: The reason behind this is that as the pint of inspiration apart, the watchers in the dark, who are, effectively, good demons.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: They're little nerdlies.
[SPEAKER_01]: Grabbed his body and took it to a pocket dimension in the middle of the planet.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: But it's, it's in the moment.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's a dimension.
[SPEAKER_01]: So things in the middle of the planet.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Kind of, it goes with the planet.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and they shove the lines, body into a stasis.
[SPEAKER_01]: And that way, his body in his soul can heal and then be vitalized and actually improved by the planet itself.
[SPEAKER_01]: The same time, the legion is now split between dark angels and the traitors who are known as a fallen.
[SPEAKER_01]: This is something that only the dark angels and the emperor know by the way, and not even all the dark angels only the uh... Can you circle in a circle?
[SPEAKER_01]: Yep.
[SPEAKER_01]: So for the last ten thousand years, the Dark Angels have been doing whatever the Imperium needs of them.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, also, I don't say.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, all certain.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_03]: I think it's more, more also doing what the Emperor needs to do because the main thing is smoking the following.
[SPEAKER_01]: But they're doing it largely because they're trying to hide their horrible story.
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, they're the only, technically, they're the only surviving Trader Legion in that regard.
[SPEAKER_01]: Now, fun thing about the fallen that's important, it comes up a lot now.
[SPEAKER_01]: They're not like the chaos Marines and the other legions because the lion never gave his soul or the soul with his legion over to the chaos god.
[SPEAKER_03]: hundred percent in one of the bigger things is a lot of the fallen are only the fallen because they happen to be standing next to the people that betray right because they didn't know like half these guys were we did this in our cast yeah we're just dudes on patrol and then the planet starting eating bombed and yeah they were dudes on patrol who were loyal to the dark girls Luther was ahead of the dark humans for them so therefore whatever what am I supposed to know
[SPEAKER_01]: So some of the fallen obviously have embraced chaos and turned evil.
[SPEAKER_01]: Others are like independent operators.
[SPEAKER_01]: They're bits of pirates like the outcast elder.
[SPEAKER_01]: But there's a bunch of them who I like more of the story who are actually out there.
[SPEAKER_01]: They're actually still loyalists and they're trying to attain for their fall.
[SPEAKER_01]: and they've been searching for a redemption.
[SPEAKER_01]: So now we move to, I don't know, middle of twenty twenty three and the lion wakes up.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, the lion wakes up and sort of it's fantasy novel style.
[SPEAKER_01]: So I'd like to.
[SPEAKER_03]: I do love my I love tropes.
[SPEAKER_03]: I do though.
[SPEAKER_03]: I'm so lame.
[SPEAKER_03]: I am pumpkin spice latte.
[SPEAKER_03]: I am the basic.
[SPEAKER_01]: I hate this so much.
[SPEAKER_01]: So anyway, so he wakes up.
[SPEAKER_01]: He is, of course, no idea where he is, who he is, any memories whatsoever.
[SPEAKER_01]: So he's wanders around and while wandering through the mist, thank you very much.
[SPEAKER_03]: The other member, it's the mist, the water.
[SPEAKER_03]: Get it straight.
[SPEAKER_03]: I'm so dumb.
[SPEAKER_03]: Because it looks like his home, his original, you know, where he is home.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's like the old VGA video games I played where now he eventually runs into a member of the fallen, who's one of the good members of the fallen, and upon talking to them, all of the lines memories returned.
[SPEAKER_03]: No, he got to remember it also that he's got, he's corrupted by the fall center.
[SPEAKER_03]: And he meets the spirit of the upper, maybe.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, this is just it's such a lame journey.
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm so, you know, you do Brad's it writes like, I twirling back and forth in the chair and smiling and I'm just here like this is so lame.
[SPEAKER_03]: But anyway, like, oh, it gave you the, his book gave me the feel like the original eighties X caliber.
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't, that's, that's what it was.
[SPEAKER_01]: It wasn't, they originally, it's like, it's the, the book gave you the feel of the complete rip off of eighties X caliber that it was.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, it's just, but I, I like the line coming back.
[SPEAKER_01]: No, I love the line coming back and then what they did with him next was kind of funny.
[SPEAKER_01]: So the lion discover is he's got a new ability and that ability is galaxy wide teleportation for sleep.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so he's got so after, you know, just ten thousand years, he's actually living now.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, he was the whole time was a place they're calling mirror call event because they're lazy and writing.
[SPEAKER_03]: He was in the upside down.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Why can go in and out of this mirror calavan whenever he wants?
[SPEAKER_01]: And once he's in the mirror calavan, mirror by the way, it's the thing that gives you reflection.
[SPEAKER_01]: And my pronunciation is going to be a little bit difficult in these things.
[SPEAKER_01]: If he's sitting in mirror calavan, all you have to is focus on where he wants to be, then he can get there.
[SPEAKER_01]: And so what makes this really powerful is not just him that can go.
[SPEAKER_01]: You can bring people with him.
[SPEAKER_01]: So stargate.
[SPEAKER_01]: Or, you know, it's like the doctor strange.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_03]: He can, well he has to go back in and then back out kind of.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: So that's how he's able to jump up.
[SPEAKER_03]: They don't exactly tell you how many he can take with him.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: So the first thing the lion does though is he starts to reclaim his legion and reunify.
[SPEAKER_01]: And he renames the fallen the risen, not all of the fallen by the way, just the ones who are still loyal.
[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, it's a big deal on this.
[SPEAKER_03]: He has one of the best lines though.
[SPEAKER_03]: because when he he tells the guy, you know, how do you know that I'll be the risen?
[SPEAKER_03]: He says you still have your head on your shoulders because the lion apparently also now has kind of judgment gaze to find out if you're guilty or not.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: And if you're if your if your loyal he knows if your trader you're going to know.
[SPEAKER_03]: There's we talked about this.
[SPEAKER_03]: We did the cast the interrogated chapter exists.
[SPEAKER_01]: So he starts teleporting all around the galaxy, building up his retinue.
[SPEAKER_01]: I get yelled at for this.
[SPEAKER_01]: I got properly corrected.
[SPEAKER_01]: Forty-three years of age.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's pronouncing a word wrong the whole time.
[SPEAKER_02]: Are you even saying retune?
[SPEAKER_02]: How do you mess that word out?
[SPEAKER_01]: Ah, continue.
[SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, got new, written, whatever.
[SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, so to aid these risen in the redemption arcs, he's helping them battle the forces of chaos.
[SPEAKER_01]: And they progress exactly as you'd expect in the Excalibur rip off.
[SPEAKER_01]: The lion does a bunch of the bunch of great things, but then he gets overwhelmed and just for the bad guys at the monologue and talk about how easy he was to defeat and blah, blah, blah, blah.
[SPEAKER_01]: And then his, you know, risen compatriots are able to step up and save him at the last second, thereby showing not only their loyalty, but also their value.
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, look, they're not that bad, but I just, just levels to choke that I just struggle with.
[SPEAKER_01]: Embrace the trope, John.
[SPEAKER_01]: Embrace.
[SPEAKER_01]: While back, he then, of course, has another little mini quest where he goes back to Miracalaban and discovers that somewhere in this incredible realm.
[SPEAKER_01]: So I actually do dislike this.
[SPEAKER_01]: That I hear my tone.
[SPEAKER_01]: I do dislike this.
[SPEAKER_03]: Really?
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Wasn't picking that up in all the places.
[SPEAKER_01]: There's a special sword and shield hidden somewhere.
[SPEAKER_01]: And he has to go find it.
[SPEAKER_01]: and he goes, and he finds the power sword called Fielty, and has shielded in the Embrus shield.
[SPEAKER_01]: Which both looks super badass on his model.
[SPEAKER_01]: Now the model is awesome.
[SPEAKER_01]: The model is absolutely awesome.
[SPEAKER_01]: And just like, by the way, every primarca has a special sword and either shield or something else.
[SPEAKER_01]: But anyway, that's that.
[SPEAKER_01]: The problem is that the lion isn't done yet from a GW writing statement because GW has to sell models and save the day and they released an angron and a lion back to back.
[SPEAKER_01]: So we have to do something about this.
[SPEAKER_01]: Angron is kind of on a tear and just as angron is about to kill Dante from the blood angels,
[SPEAKER_01]: The lion shows up literally at a nowhere.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: And and Ron just like, why are you with all those shit ton of dudes.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: And Ron, the lion get into it.
[SPEAKER_01]: And I will say, and Ron's four or five times the size of the lion.
[SPEAKER_03]: He's also, oh, eighty four and one versus boss battles.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, other way around.
[SPEAKER_01]: One and eighty four and run.
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, I get my own.
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, oh, I gave one draw.
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, he's going.
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, eighty four and one.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, good point.
[SPEAKER_01]: There it is.
[SPEAKER_01]: Needless to say, the lion beats the crap at a vangron.
[SPEAKER_01]: He stads with his power sword slanted breaks his face breaks his face with his shield and then cuts his head off.
[SPEAKER_01]: Although he does come back at least eight days and eight hours.
[SPEAKER_01]: After this, the lion does discover that he still has a brother alive in the galaxy, and it's Gilliman to which his response is, oh, great, Gilliman.
[SPEAKER_03]: Also, remember how he said, Oh, Bobby G was not super excited about the state of the Imperium?
[SPEAKER_03]: The lion does not handle it as gracefully as no.
[SPEAKER_01]: Bobby G decides to go back to the terror and take control and reorganize it.
[SPEAKER_01]: The lion decides to go planet to planet.
[SPEAKER_03]: He is bent.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_03]: He's like I'm going to do a world tour.
[SPEAKER_03]: of ass kicking.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, because you're actually suck.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, the story's a funny where he would like he if he arrives on a planet in the period of governor comes out to greet him.
[SPEAKER_01]: He's basically shoves him to the side and it keeps walking to go find the people and rise the people up and give them a right.
[SPEAKER_03]: Again, he's he's also got his new.
[SPEAKER_03]: I do like whatever is judgment cases.
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, that's cool.
[SPEAKER_03]: He has the whole like ability to see evil now.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's what he's doing.
[SPEAKER_01]: He's going to these plants and mean he's going to place the hunt down.
[SPEAKER_01]: He's an inquisitor.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's actually the best way to look at it.
[SPEAKER_01]: But like
[SPEAKER_03]: the most important thing most common because it ever.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: So that's kind of where he is now.
[SPEAKER_01]: We've got we haven't moved the writing that that's the latest thing to happen.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, just to recap for the loyalist primarks.
[SPEAKER_01]: You have Gilliman is running the Imperium every other primarks except for the lion is missing or dead.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yep.
[SPEAKER_01]: And the lion just got back and he's kind of doing his own thing hunting down chaos.
[SPEAKER_03]: I hope they push that.
[SPEAKER_03]: I know we're trying to say we're, but I want more of him.
[SPEAKER_03]: I'd like to see Lee then come back or I'd either one.
[SPEAKER_01]: Leave in her vulgar.
[SPEAKER_01]: I think I expect it to be Lee then.
[SPEAKER_03]: Lions are going to do his thing, but the land's always done his thing.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_03]: G, man is just the guy in charge.
[SPEAKER_03]: And then I'd like to see Vulcan go on either a Holy Crusade or Lehman just go on.
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, by the time a thunder don't, by the time a lot of you will actually listen to this truthfully, we'll know this one.
[SPEAKER_01]: But I'm kind of
[SPEAKER_01]: I understand that they're going to release Emperor's children, which means we're probably going to full-gram.
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm pretty sure.
[SPEAKER_01]: But I don't really love the idea of having a fortitude ratio of chaos primarxdent.
[SPEAKER_03]: But you could really help the story, though, with either Lehman or Vulcan.
[SPEAKER_01]: More Lehman.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I made sure this Vulcan is interesting.
[SPEAKER_01]: The problem with Vulcan is like, it's like super popular too.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, it's also Vulcan's a weird model because it's like so in a two-plastic, I mean, just basically a self-disate cell steam type thing where he's compacted with.
[SPEAKER_03]: Well, he's not something like how do you model him?
[SPEAKER_03]: He's huge.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_03]: So like he almost looks demon primary status at that point.
[SPEAKER_01]: He's so much bigger.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, that's always I always forget he used the large the primax.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, forget about that.
[SPEAKER_01]: But he's he's way bigger than everybody else.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, still they do with the custodes and make them the exact same size as everything else.
[SPEAKER_01]: That would be so annoying.
[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
[SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, as you guys know, that's the end of this cast.
[SPEAKER_01]: Um, so next week, we're going to, you know, do the most requested list for me, series of casts.
[SPEAKER_01]: The towel.
[SPEAKER_03]: I love your preparation for this.
[SPEAKER_01]: So I haven't read a single thing on the towel, but I did watch hot fuzz.
[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm ready for the greater good.
[SPEAKER_01]: I've just begun it actually and discovered the x-com rip off that's very evident in the middle in the very first code.
[SPEAKER_03]: Well, I did tell you about this.
[SPEAKER_03]: And you said that at last.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, we're at Legend and Brad, we're walking through the ethereals.
[SPEAKER_01]: And I was just like, so the ethereals from x-com and Brad didn't play a lot of x-com.
[SPEAKER_01]: We've known it as much like it.
[SPEAKER_01]: And yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: So get ready to have players.
[SPEAKER_01]: This is going to be fun.
[SPEAKER_01]: I got your back, guys.
[SPEAKER_01]: Brad does like your army.
[SPEAKER_01]: That makes one of us.
[SPEAKER_01]: Do I do an entire episode in the shield drone?
[SPEAKER_01]: Just in how much I hate shield drones?
[SPEAKER_01]: Just five straight minutes.
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm just rage.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Just make weird sounds in the microphone.
[SPEAKER_01]: I've just shield drones in the bottom floor with a grip tied on the top floor.
[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: And that makes me mad thinking of it.
[SPEAKER_01]: No, never forget never forget.
[SPEAKER_01]: No, that was the worst thing I've ever seen.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's actually worse than the
[SPEAKER_01]: Was it the iron who was it the iron hand iron hands primarism reeds throwing themselves into the wood ship.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, so that the Leviathan dread not wouldn't take a damage.
[SPEAKER_01]: So no, no.
[SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, it's been John Barsati and Brad Chester.
[SPEAKER_01]: See you guys next week.
[UNKNOWN]: you
