<v Speaker 1>Uh, we should be live. Welcome on into the Non <v Speaker 1>Tendo podcast featuring Iwana today. I'm so happy to have you. <v Speaker 2>I'm so glad we planned it so far and all right, we. <v Speaker 1>Need to talk about it really quickly, so welcome on <v Speaker 1>in everybody. Ham was supposed to be here with me today. <v Speaker 1>I'm very sick as well, and unfortunately Haim had to <v Speaker 1>step out just moments before the podcast went live. And <v Speaker 1>I'm talking like ten minutes before the podcast went live. <v Speaker 1>But my dear friend Ijana was in my YouTube video <v Speaker 1>that I posted today on my shop video on my <v Speaker 1>main channel, and I was messaging her saying I hope <v Speaker 1>you liked the video, and I was like, oh, while <v Speaker 1>I'm here messaging you, do you have a free hour <v Speaker 1>and ten minutes to do a whole podcast with me <v Speaker 1>so I'm not alone? And you said yes instantly I did. <v Speaker 2>I did. I just so happened that I just got <v Speaker 2>home and had planned to do nothing today. <v Speaker 1>So I'm so thankful. And also I want to say <v Speaker 1>so many people for months and months have highly requested <v Speaker 1>you as a podcast co host for the show, and <v Speaker 1>I've wanted you to be a podcast co host for <v Speaker 1>the show. I've wanted to do an episode with you <v Speaker 1>in person for the longest time, and I didn't want <v Speaker 1>to do remotely with you. You're in London, you're in England. <v Speaker 1>I don't know whereabouts. <v Speaker 2>Actually we're parted by a giant seat giant and a <v Speaker 2>lot of hours. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, which makes doing an in person one more tricky, <v Speaker 1>but I wanted to figure it out. But I'm happy <v Speaker 1>to do it here with you today, and actually is <v Speaker 1>kind of cool for a lot of reasons. It's almost <v Speaker 1>what's the word for so many things coming together at <v Speaker 1>once in a beautiful way. There's a word for that, Simsim. <v Speaker 1>I because you were in my video today or my <v Speaker 1>main channel beat them up in the show video and <v Speaker 1>you're in England, London, and I would just was in <v Speaker 1>London two days ago. So we get to talking. No, <v Speaker 1>don't be sorry. It was beautiful people. Everyone kept saying <v Speaker 1>to me, London is a s h I T hole. <v Speaker 1>That's what my editor, who lives in London told me. <v Speaker 1>That's what everyone told me. And I went there and <v Speaker 1>I spent spent half a week. I spent four days <v Speaker 1>five days there with Kim and we hung out with <v Speaker 1>Bob and Hannah in London which is so funny to say. <v Speaker 1>But it was beautiful. It was so clean. The subways <v Speaker 1>are so clean. I don't know what. I don't know <v Speaker 1>if you haven't been to New York. <v Speaker 2>That's while I heard wheely bins have just been invented <v Speaker 2>in New York. <v Speaker 1>Wheely bins. <v Speaker 2>Wheely bins like things bins you put your plastic bins <v Speaker 2>into so that they don't rip and go everywhere. <v Speaker 1>I have I've never heard of that. <v Speaker 2>Because it stills like I was getting into it. Just bins, Yeah, <v Speaker 2>like you put you put them out in your. <v Speaker 1>What were they doing before? What was New York doing <v Speaker 1>before that? <v Speaker 2>I don't know. I just saw an article being like <v Speaker 2>New York has invented we leave all the Brits were <v Speaker 2>meaning on it. <v Speaker 1>I usually in New York they just throw the trash <v Speaker 1>on the side of the road, which, to be fair, <v Speaker 1>I've seen that in London too, there's bags of trash <v Speaker 1>on the side of the road. Serendipitous was the word <v Speaker 1>I was looking for. So Chat, thank you so much <v Speaker 1>for that, and Manado Max with a ten dollars super chat. <v Speaker 1>So glad to be here for another live Thanks buddy, <v Speaker 1>I appreciate you. Oh, are you're doing surgery in two weeks? Okay, well, <v Speaker 1>good luck with that. A lot of Also, it's not <v Speaker 1>I wana. I should probably say it correctly. That's so <v Speaker 1>far with it our little cute way of how I <v Speaker 1>pronounce it. How do you pronounce it? <v Speaker 2>Well, my like, my in real life name is Ironer. <v Speaker 1>Thank you. It's such a lovely name and I've never <v Speaker 1>heard it before. And I phonetically try to read the <v Speaker 1>way you spell it for your content and it just <v Speaker 1>for some reason, my brain justes am I the only <v Speaker 1>one other people call you a wana? Is it just me? <v Speaker 2>Yeah? I get owner a woner, you won't lot, I <v Speaker 2>go anything's fine. The reason I went by E owner <v Speaker 2>is one, if you google I Owner, it gives you <v Speaker 2>the island in Scotland that I'm named after. And two, <v Speaker 2>some people read it as Loner, and it's like, again, <v Speaker 2>every single. <v Speaker 1>Time capital I looks like an l So. <v Speaker 2>I went with something that didn't have that confusion on <v Speaker 2>the internet. <v Speaker 1>Okay, I see that the doubly. Usually when we have <v Speaker 1>a guest on, I like to do a lot of <v Speaker 1>research and have some questions to ask you. But since <v Speaker 1>this was just spare of the moldent Ah. How would <v Speaker 1>you describe yourself as a content creator? A very cozy game, <v Speaker 1>very fun and bubbly. You stream on Twitch and you <v Speaker 1>have a YouTube channel where you do some similar content <v Speaker 1>to mine. I've seen you do like ten cozy games. <v Speaker 1>I think even on Switch worth buying right like very. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I mostly do Switch. It's only been recently that <v Speaker 2>I've dabbled outside a Switch, mainly because you know, the <v Speaker 2>Switch is the switch right now, So every now and <v Speaker 2>again you need There's only so many videos you can <v Speaker 2>make with like you know, oh, I like this game, <v Speaker 2>but it was ported terribly to the Switch, So every <v Speaker 2>now and again I'd like to devil outside of the <v Speaker 2>realm of the Switch right now. <v Speaker 1>Now, why do you make content that's so Nintendo focused? <v Speaker 1>What are your inspirations? <v Speaker 2>So? I've been a Nintendo for as long as I <v Speaker 2>can remember. It was like the only thing I gamed <v Speaker 2>on till I got a gaming pc, like three years ago, <v Speaker 2>four years ago. So I had the Game Boy, I <v Speaker 2>had the game Cube. I have many memories of playing <v Speaker 2>that with my brother and my dad and all of <v Speaker 2>that stuff. And the Switch was the first console I <v Speaker 2>ever owned that was my own. Like I had a <v Speaker 2>Wii and stuff, but I was always drunk by my <v Speaker 2>brother and somehow I was never playing one despite being <v Speaker 2>the older sibling. But so this switch has been my <v Speaker 2>love is what I game on the most most of <v Speaker 2>the time. It's been less so recently. <v Speaker 1>But yeah, that's for everybody. Me too. <v Speaker 2>And I started in Lockdown with my channel because I <v Speaker 2>was doing a PhD in chemistry and the labs got <v Speaker 2>closed and I was like, I always thought of doing <v Speaker 2>a YouTube channel, wouldn't I just give it a go. <v Speaker 1>I wonder how many content creators came out of Lockdown, right? <v Speaker 1>How many careers were made by covid. Yeah, yeah, thank <v Speaker 1>God for COVID. That's what I've always said. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I think it birthed a lot of us because <v Speaker 2>I would have had the time if it wasn't for <v Speaker 2>In another life, if COVID never have happened, I'd be <v Speaker 2>out there doing a chemistry We wouldn't even. <v Speaker 1>Know each other, we wouldn't even be friends, wouldn't be <v Speaker 1>here today. <v Speaker 2>I'd be doing a chemist I didn't even know what <v Speaker 2>chemistry job I would be doing. <v Speaker 1>I would have sucked. Why do something practical and smart <v Speaker 1>that might help enhance the world. When we can just <v Speaker 1>make YouTube videos at home. <v Speaker 2>I got my doctorate. I'm done now, I'm done done <v Speaker 2>with science. <v Speaker 1>You're very that's you're very smart. You're smarter than me. <v Speaker 1>I'm sure. <v Speaker 2>I don't know. There was a lot of fire in <v Speaker 2>the lab. <v Speaker 1>Okay, well I've played the sims. It happens. Okay. So no, <v Speaker 1>like Content Creator Inspirations, it was just like. <v Speaker 2>A well I watched a lot of your channel. <v Speaker 1>Yeah no, that's what I was trying to get to. <v Speaker 2>Your channel, and I was like, I didn't. I switched <v Speaker 2>to I'm just gonna talk about some games that I love. <v Speaker 2>I always say I don't really do reviews. I just <v Speaker 2>say my opinion. <v Speaker 1>You saw me, and you were like that scientist stuff <v Speaker 1>too hard, this guy, that's the easier route right there. <v Speaker 1>I could do that. Anyone could do that. <v Speaker 2>Also, I just didn't see whenever I was like looking <v Speaker 2>up and I was googling, like Nintendo reviews of stuff, <v Speaker 2>either I couldn't find some of the games I was playing, <v Speaker 2>or I couldn't find any women. <v Speaker 1>No, there's not enough, Yeah, for sure, there's not. <v Speaker 2>So I was like, I know, it's like against YouTube <v Speaker 2>advice to shove your face on a thumbnail when you're <v Speaker 2>a nobody. But I was like, maybe maybe I'll find <v Speaker 2>my people. <v Speaker 1>Why is that a caid'st YouTuber advice. I don't know, <v Speaker 1>show your face if you're nobody. I think it's just <v Speaker 1>I think it just depends on the creator. I mean, <v Speaker 1>Bob's obviously a friend of the show, and he never <v Speaker 1>puts his face in his thumbnails even today, and he's <v Speaker 1>relatively well known within the community. I think it just depends. <v Speaker 1>It just depends. You know, well, you've done great, You've <v Speaker 1>done well, You've done amazing. I love your content. I <v Speaker 1>love the Cozy Game renaissance too. That has created produced <v Speaker 1>so many awesome creators, but also a lot of women creators, <v Speaker 1>which is just fantastic to see. We've had a few <v Speaker 1>on this channel. We've had lists. <v Speaker 2>I met Kennedy not that. <v Speaker 1>Long ago, both so lovely and both had a lot <v Speaker 1>of nice things to say about you two, and both <v Speaker 1>said that that you should come on, so thank you <v Speaker 1>so much. You'll also have to help carry the show <v Speaker 1>because I am not feeling great. I am holding on <v Speaker 1>by a thread. I'm sorry, I might have to blow <v Speaker 1>my nose a bunch. My head is killing me. Kim <v Speaker 1>is very sick too. Every time we go on a trip, <v Speaker 1>we get sick. We went to Australia and we came <v Speaker 1>back with COVID speaking of our favorite little friend, and <v Speaker 1>I don't know what we have this time. I don't <v Speaker 1>I don't feel too bad. I don't feel like COVID bad. <v Speaker 1>But I definitely, uh, definitely pushing through to give people <v Speaker 1>a podcast. So I apologize if I'm a little out <v Speaker 1>of it. <v Speaker 2>I'll try and bring the energy. <v Speaker 1>I need it. Please, honestly, see how what you vibe <v Speaker 1>with the direction, even if like you feel like you're <v Speaker 1>outweighing my energy and you're like taking over the show. <v Speaker 1>Please give these people something to latch onto it. Please, <v Speaker 1>it's usually me. <v Speaker 2>I'm just not asking you questions. <v Speaker 1>You could, honestly, if I could just sit back while <v Speaker 1>you talk, that would be great. Yeah, So we are <v Speaker 1>going to look at the direct. I'm very excited to <v Speaker 1>go through it. I haven't seen it. And uh, that <v Speaker 1>might seem like a lie because I said this as <v Speaker 1>well about something something last week or something recently we watched. <v Speaker 1>But I was on the plane on the way home <v Speaker 1>from London while this was streaming, and I tweeted, can <v Speaker 1>people fill me in and give me the dot points <v Speaker 1>and the dut points were essentially and I was gonna <v Speaker 1>ruin it ahead of time. Yakuza Pizza Tower, full stop. <v Speaker 1>That was it forty minutes for that people seem people <v Speaker 1>seemed very disappointed. Again, I haven't seen it, But I <v Speaker 1>also don't know what people were expecting too much, because <v Speaker 1>we get. <v Speaker 2>This every partner and indie showcase that people to play <v Speaker 2>games sad and it's like, yeah, well did you not read. <v Speaker 1>A twofold twofold thing as you said, it's a partner <v Speaker 1>in an indy, what did you expect? But also like <v Speaker 1>we're in the last year the Switch. It's twenty twenty four, <v Speaker 1>like everything slowing down. I'm surprised they're still doing these events. <v Speaker 1>Obviously they know the world. <v Speaker 2>Part is they were mentioning games coming to the Switch, <v Speaker 2>and like spring twenty twenty five. <v Speaker 1>I know, I saw that someone screenshot me a game <v Speaker 1>that they were excited for, Tales of something org or something, <v Speaker 1>and it set twenty twenty five, and I was like, <v Speaker 1>that's so funny to me that they're still showing Switch <v Speaker 1>games coming twenty twenty five. It's almost scary. It's almost <v Speaker 1>like that's but that's not it, right, Like with more, <v Speaker 1>twenty twenty five is going to be a good year, right. <v Speaker 2>I like to take the optimistic approach of this means <v Speaker 2>it's going to be backwards compatible, so companies don't feel <v Speaker 2>too bad making for the switch because they know you <v Speaker 2>can play it on the switch too, so it's not <v Speaker 2>waste of money. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, either backwards well, we have pretty much agreed here <v Speaker 1>on the Nontendo podcast that it's going to be backwards compatible, <v Speaker 1>but either backwards compatible or available on both, you know, <v Speaker 1>released on both. I'm sure hopefully, you know, hopefully. <v Speaker 2>I feel like most cozy games are going to come <v Speaker 2>out on both until Animal Crossing comes out on the <v Speaker 2>switch to and then everyone will buy the switch too. <v Speaker 2>From the crazy year. <v Speaker 1>Man Animal Crossing, I I it would be so cool <v Speaker 1>to get an Animal Crossing in that first year or <v Speaker 1>second year. I feel like I know it's feel it, <v Speaker 1>I feel it. I know it's been an it's both <v Speaker 1>been a long time and not a lot time since <v Speaker 1>the last one. Perspectively for Animal Crossing, I feel like <v Speaker 1>it's not been a long time. But I mean that <v Speaker 1>was that was in COVID, that was what twenty nineteen. <v Speaker 2>Did you see the pocket Camp news? No, so they're <v Speaker 2>they're getting rid of pocket Camp. The servers are going <v Speaker 2>down very soon, but they are. They've been updating it <v Speaker 2>every month. It's got content that Animal Crossing new horizons <v Speaker 2>could have only dreamed of. <v Speaker 1>Kim always get rid of that. <v Speaker 2>But they're bringing out a new version of it that <v Speaker 2>is going to be paid and as far as I'm aware, <v Speaker 2>without micro transactions. <v Speaker 1>Oh so, wait, a new mobile version. <v Speaker 2>It's it's very weird. I think it's a new mobile version. <v Speaker 2>But everyone seems to think that this is a sign <v Speaker 2>that a new Animal Crossing is coming. But I don't know. <v Speaker 2>I feel like, because didn't they take the Animal Crossing <v Speaker 2>update people and move them to Splatoon three? So we're <v Speaker 2>gonna have to wait until Splatoon three. <v Speaker 1>I don't know anything about this. This is your this <v Speaker 1>is your world, this is your realm. Tell me about it. <v Speaker 2>So the when they stopped updating Animal Crossing, they pulled <v Speaker 2>them that team so that they would work on the <v Speaker 2>constant updates for Spatoon three instead. So when that stopped, <v Speaker 2>three started to get in full swing. So I'm kind <v Speaker 2>of judging it by what Spatoon three is up to <v Speaker 2>as to whether they start pulling those people for and <v Speaker 2>we're crossing again. <v Speaker 1>Well, Chat pointed out it has been four years, so <v Speaker 1>if we get an animal crossing within the first year or two, <v Speaker 1>that's five or six years. <v Speaker 2>I find world is the fact that there hasn't been <v Speaker 2>a trip a cozy game since we have only had <v Speaker 2>we've maybe had double a's that have gotten closer. <v Speaker 1>I'm trying. I'm trying to think. I mean tons of indies. <v Speaker 1>I mean the cozy game scene has flooded with games. <v Speaker 1>There's too many, too many to choose. I think mainstream, <v Speaker 1>very mainstream. I think the closest thing I can thing <v Speaker 1>to a triple A and it'd be triple I almost <v Speaker 1>would be if Haunted Chocolate Tea ever releases. <v Speaker 2>We haven't even got the update for Star Drew on Switch. <v Speaker 2>I know, dude, Okay, you tweaking about this yesterday? <v Speaker 1>Really what did he say? Tell me he knows it's. <v Speaker 2>Not ready yet? Oh my god, it's not ready yet. <v Speaker 2>It's not on any console. It is literally only on <v Speaker 2>PC right now. <v Speaker 1>So for those that don't know. In the Stardoo scene, <v Speaker 1>I love that indies do this, and Stardo is a <v Speaker 1>perfect example of just giving us so much free content, <v Speaker 1>but he released this big patch that added a new farm. <v Speaker 1>We talked about it will list and a ton of <v Speaker 1>extra content. Its just so much extra content. But it's <v Speaker 1>only out on PC. And I know this because when <v Speaker 1>Kim and I went to Australia, we wanted to play <v Speaker 1>it on the plane. We were going to start a <v Speaker 1>new farm on the plane on our switches, but then <v Speaker 1>we found out it's only on on PC. We just <v Speaker 1>went to London and I was like, oh, it's been <v Speaker 1>months since then, now the time, And then I realized <v Speaker 1>it's still not on switch. No, God, what is taking <v Speaker 1>so long. It's I don't even understand. It's the same thing. <v Speaker 1>You're just putting it on switch. <v Speaker 2>And the annoying part is you can't, as far as <v Speaker 2>I'm aware, unless I'm wrong, you can't do local co <v Speaker 2>op on Steam Deck. <v Speaker 1>No, you can't. No. We look that up because I <v Speaker 1>have two Steam Decks and I was like, well, I <v Speaker 1>could do it that way, but you need, uh, you <v Speaker 1>need a Wi Fi connection and essentially, uh yeah, wi <v Speaker 1>Fi land it and if you're on a plane, you <v Speaker 1>can't do that. We like a. <v Speaker 2>Nintendo only thing. Do they have like a pattern that <v Speaker 2>means no one else can do it. <v Speaker 1>No, it's not that no one else can do it. <v Speaker 1>It's just that when they developed something for the switch <v Speaker 1>like that, they know that people are going to have <v Speaker 1>multiple switches and they're gonna want a Bluetooth it. I <v Speaker 1>just don't because steam Deck is just essentially a portable <v Speaker 1>PC and you're running the PC port. The PC port <v Speaker 1>doesn't have that option because you would just do Wi <v Speaker 1>Fi or something like that. So it's just not integrated that. <v Speaker 1>I think they could integrate it because because I mean, <v Speaker 1>Steam decks have Bluetooth, I think they have everything capable <v Speaker 1>for it. But yeah, I don't know. They'd have to <v Speaker 1>make a steam Deck version where you could do that. <v Speaker 1>I think I'm not the tech guy. You know. We could, <v Speaker 1>we could, we could call up someone, but I don't <v Speaker 1>think it matters. You're such a feature. I agree. I agree. <v Speaker 1>I think you should be able to sit there on <v Speaker 1>steam Decks. I mean it's only going to be in <v Speaker 1>a situation where like you are on a planeer you <v Speaker 1>don't have Wi Fi where you would even need to <v Speaker 1>do that. But I was in that situation, so I agree. <v Speaker 1>All right, do you want to go through this direct <v Speaker 1>because it's forty minutes. Yeah, and we're blabbing. I did, <v Speaker 1>I did want to talk about London, but maybe we <v Speaker 1>can do it at the end if we have time. <v Speaker 1>Because I kept it secret too. I only really revealed <v Speaker 1>today that I went to London in the E Shop <v Speaker 1>video and then I posted pictures of the trip. Like <v Speaker 1>last week on the episode, I just said I'm going <v Speaker 1>somewhere tomorrow and I didn't say where, and. <v Speaker 2>I was rudely out of the country, and that just <v Speaker 2>that one where I. <v Speaker 1>Know we couldn't we couldn't hang out. Do you want <v Speaker 1>to see you want to quickly see my pictures? <v Speaker 2>Yes? <v Speaker 1>From the trip? All right, give me a second here. <v Speaker 1>I'm not I have not set up for this. I'm <v Speaker 1>trying not to dox anything by showing these. All right, <v Speaker 1>let me do this. Hopefully this will work. Here we go. <v Speaker 1>Here are some pictures from the trip. So that's in <v Speaker 1>front of the Big Ben, Big the Big Boy himself. <v Speaker 1>This was on the second day. We ended up actually <v Speaker 1>walking right up to the Big Ben on the last <v Speaker 1>day and touching it, licking it. But we had fish <v Speaker 1>and chips at the Big Bend. Huh. <v Speaker 2>And you wonder why you're sick going out. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, that might be a way I licked Ben. Then <v Speaker 1>here's me, Bob, Hannah and Kim. This is right near <v Speaker 1>where we stayed. It was so funny and I didn't <v Speaker 1>talk about it, and so I'll say what happened now. <v Speaker 1>But Bob and Hannah we're going to watch Taylor Swift <v Speaker 1>at Wembley. And they told us that they were going. <v Speaker 1>And this was like a week before I decided to go, <v Speaker 1>and they told us they were going, and I was like, <v Speaker 1>oh my god, that's so funny because aew all in <v Speaker 1>is at Wembley four days after that, and our friend <v Speaker 1>Kip is a part of it, and we were considering going, <v Speaker 1>but I was no. I was just couldn't commit. I <v Speaker 1>was like, I don't know if it's worth us going. <v Speaker 1>But then when I found out they were going, I <v Speaker 1>was like, oh, so if we went, there'd be a <v Speaker 1>day where you're still there when we're there, and we <v Speaker 1>could hang out in London do some game hunting. I'm like, <v Speaker 1>that's just a memory that I feel like it. It's <v Speaker 1>just too much of what's the word serendipitous from earlier, <v Speaker 1>it was too serendipitous. I was like, let's just commit <v Speaker 1>Kim and so I think it was literally six days <v Speaker 1>before we left we decided and booked flights, which is <v Speaker 1>the quickest I've ever just committed to something on like <v Speaker 1>in such short notice. But yeah, we spent the whole day. <v Speaker 1>I've got a game hunting London vlog video coming. <v Speaker 2>And I'm so interested how you found that. <v Speaker 1>I know I'll keep it safe for the video, but yeah, <v Speaker 1>it's just it's I'm so glad we did it, just <v Speaker 1>a memory that it was just a once in a <v Speaker 1>lifetime memory, like Bob and I are never going to <v Speaker 1>be in London together again, like you know, that was <v Speaker 1>just really cool. And then there we are in Uh. <v Speaker 1>I don't know what you call this, but it's essentially <v Speaker 1>like Times Square in London. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, it compared to Times Square, it's very. <v Speaker 1>It's just it's cute. It's this big, this one big <v Speaker 1>wrap around screen. No, I don't think anyone else is <v Speaker 1>comparing it to that. It's just what it felt like <v Speaker 1>while we were there. It's like a little a little <v Speaker 1>Times Square. This is the King's House. Uh. We took <v Speaker 1>a photo in front of that. You can see all <v Speaker 1>these right, Yeah, yeah, here's us at Wembley. This was <v Speaker 1>when MJF was coming out. We got annoyed. So we <v Speaker 1>have a couple friends in wrestling. One is Jamie. Jamie <v Speaker 1>Hayter is a close friend or I'm really close friends <v Speaker 1>with her. I think boyfriend. I don't know if they're engaged. <v Speaker 1>And this was really exciting to see because I don't <v Speaker 1>want to I don't want to say who it is <v Speaker 1>because I don't know if it's public, but the person <v Speaker 1>that they're dating and I are really close and getting <v Speaker 1>to go there and see her. She hasn't She's been <v Speaker 1>away for like a year with an injury, so she <v Speaker 1>came back. I actually think I have a little bit <v Speaker 1>of video with that that I shared somewhere that I <v Speaker 1>can pull up in a second. And then we're supposed <v Speaker 1>to see Kip. We went all this way to see <v Speaker 1>my friend Kip at Wembley and our ticket set the <v Speaker 1>show started at five, so we got there at five. <v Speaker 1>Turns out the show started at four and we ended <v Speaker 1>up missing kid. I was so upset. I felt so bad. Yeah, anyway, <v Speaker 1>more more of us. I'll see if I can find <v Speaker 1>I posted a reply, so it doesn't matter, it's fine. <v Speaker 2>How do you find the food? <v Speaker 1>So everybody said that the food in London, the food <v Speaker 1>in England is bad. I don't know UK is bad. <v Speaker 2>I think it's because people go for like British food, <v Speaker 2>but British food. <v Speaker 1>I'm not sure. I'm not sure what it is. But <v Speaker 1>I mean we were staying in like the heart of London, <v Speaker 1>and I feel like, of course the food is going <v Speaker 1>to be great, because like you're in a very densely <v Speaker 1>populated city. All the places that make food there are <v Speaker 1>going to be paying a lot to be there, So <v Speaker 1>if they weren't good, they're not going to stay in business. <v Speaker 1>That's kind of the roll of thumb of a lot <v Speaker 1>of these places. But yeah, we're in like a melting pot, right. So, <v Speaker 1>like we were like two minute walk away from Chinatown <v Speaker 1>and we got some really awesome ramen, such good ramen <v Speaker 1>we also had. We went to a hot pot place <v Speaker 1>one night and I got beat Me Back or whatever <v Speaker 1>it's called, and that was really good. But right by <v Speaker 1>the Big Bend we got fish and chips and it <v Speaker 1>was outside of Australia, the best fish and chips I've <v Speaker 1>ever had, So that was awesome. Yeah, no, it was <v Speaker 1>all really good. We didn't get to try as much <v Speaker 1>food as I would like. But yeah, London food was great. <v Speaker 1>I'm sure if I like went out into the Sticks <v Speaker 1>and got black pudding in Haggis, you know, maybe. <v Speaker 2>I haven't even tried black pudding or hagis. <v Speaker 1>Maybe not as good. My editor kept telling me to <v Speaker 1>get a Tesco meal deal. Don't know my good Yes <v Speaker 1>I did. I didn't get it. I don't even know <v Speaker 1>what it is. Apparently it's a British thing. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, it's like you go into a supermarket and you <v Speaker 2>get crisps, a sandwich and a drink for like it <v Speaker 2>used to be three pounds, but inflations come, so it's <v Speaker 2>like three pounds fifty to five pounds depending what you get. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, I kind of wish we did. We just we <v Speaker 1>just ran out of time. And also, so I've been <v Speaker 1>on this diet for ten months of like really strict <v Speaker 1>chicken and rice and then we went and I'm just <v Speaker 1>eating all this greasy food. We got Mexican one night, <v Speaker 1>we got Mexican in London, which was actually really good. <v Speaker 1>We were surprised by how good it was. Didn't really <v Speaker 1>taste super Mexican, but it tasted really good. But one <v Speaker 1>of the things was so greasy and then I spent <v Speaker 1>the last three days of the trip just feeling so sick, <v Speaker 1>like having a hole. Everywhere I went, I was like <v Speaker 1>racing for the bathroom. So I didn't really get to <v Speaker 1>eat much more. After that. We wanted to try carry <v Speaker 1>and I was like, I can't eat carry on this stomach. Simon, <v Speaker 1>can you hear him? <v Speaker 2>Get it? <v Speaker 1>He is aggressively screaming at me. All right, we've got <v Speaker 1>to dive in this direct. Buddy, you gotta come here <v Speaker 1>if you want to be part of it. To scream <v Speaker 1>off in the distance. Oh my god, hard On, let me, <v Speaker 1>I'll start this direct. I'm gonna grab him, so he <v Speaker 1>quiet down a little bit. Everyone tell me how the <v Speaker 1>volume is on everything. By the way, Showcase ends Nintendo <v Speaker 1>Direct Partner Showcase, back to back. Oh my god, first <v Speaker 1>off this one. Here's the Indie World Showcase. All right. <v Speaker 1>So this was a direct on August twenty seven, doing <v Speaker 1>my head in and they combined the Indie World Showcase <v Speaker 1>and the Partner Showcase in one of them, which they've <v Speaker 1>never done before. Buddy, Buddy, Buddy, Buddy for loud. He <v Speaker 1>is so he does this to me all the time <v Speaker 1>when I film, and I feel so bad because I <v Speaker 1>feel like it's because I'm like talking and I'm like <v Speaker 1>working and he wants to be like part of the <v Speaker 1>action because he only does this when I'm filming, And <v Speaker 1>I feel bad because I'm like, be quiet, be quiet, <v Speaker 1>but he just he's doing it because I'm doing it. <v Speaker 1>But I know he wants to be a star. It <v Speaker 1>stresses me out because I feel bad for the for <v Speaker 1>the listeners. H Liz, Liz, Oh my god, list the <v Speaker 1>last in chat my two faves. Oh my god. I <v Speaker 1>love you, Lis, miss you all right. Anyway, I haven't <v Speaker 1>seen it. I was on a plane. Let's watch it. <v Speaker 1>I waited to watch it with all of you, and <v Speaker 1>and Iona, I did it, got it right. We can <v Speaker 1>speed run this too. We don't have to watch the <v Speaker 1>whole thing because also audio listeners might hate that. Actually, <v Speaker 1>we put so much work in before this making sure <v Speaker 1>you could hear it, and I'm now wondering if it <v Speaker 1>would be better if we just didn't even play the audio. <v Speaker 2>I think it might if. Yeah, for audio listeners, you <v Speaker 2>just skipped to each of the games and see what <v Speaker 2>they are. <v Speaker 1>All right, But do you want me to turn off <v Speaker 1>the thing? Then that's making your voice echo for you. Okay, <v Speaker 1>all right, give me two seconds here. Let me cut <v Speaker 1>back here. Everyone's probably going to see this pop up <v Speaker 1>when I do this. <v Speaker 2>Goodbye everyone. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, hold on, let me just turn off your camera <v Speaker 1>for a second. We had to route the audio specifically, <v Speaker 1>so I want to get here, and I'm now realizing <v Speaker 1>that probably isn't even a good idea. All right, there <v Speaker 1>we go. Sorry about that, everybody, Mickey Mouse operation over here. <v Speaker 2>We organize this so well. <v Speaker 1>Oh we're doing so good. I mean, the episode's going well. <v Speaker 1>I'm liking it. How's chat liking it? Just play the audio? No, <v Speaker 1>I'm I'm now remembering every time I play the audio, <v Speaker 1>people get upset, especially the audio listeners. Whoa wait a second, <v Speaker 1>and this is wild. <v Speaker 2>This is the wildest start ever. <v Speaker 1>I did not know about it. You know what's annoying? <v Speaker 1>I haven't seen it, and I want to hear the audio. <v Speaker 2>But have you played Balatroe? <v Speaker 1>Yeah? I actually love it, and I also love Witcher <v Speaker 1>and Witcher has gwent, so I'm interested to see what <v Speaker 1>they've done with this. <v Speaker 2>If it's for balatrowe like to an unhealthy level. <v Speaker 1>Oh my god, this is such a random collab. <v Speaker 2>Against There's more. <v Speaker 1>Oh, my god, I really want to. I'm just gonna <v Speaker 1>turn up the volume a little bit. I'm sorry, I <v Speaker 1>kind of have to. This is crazy. <v Speaker 2>Did you see anything about the about games Com? No, <v Speaker 2>you see that you went to games Yeah, so they <v Speaker 2>do a presentation like a showcase with Jeff and everyone <v Speaker 2>in it, and they also do a pre show showcase. <v Speaker 2>So after this is done, I'll tell you what is <v Speaker 2>also in in other games. Please relate this. <v Speaker 1>Doing a collab with Vampire Survivors is so cool and crazy. <v Speaker 1>But Witch, I feel like, which is the big one? <v Speaker 1>If there's another, if there's something in here bigger than <v Speaker 1>Witcher that but Balatroe's collabbing with that'd be crazy. I'm <v Speaker 1>actually glad I held off on playing Balatrow anymore than <v Speaker 1>I already did, because. <v Speaker 2>Yes, so good. <v Speaker 1>It is really good. If you guys have never played <v Speaker 1>this game, it was an absolute smash indie hit. It's <v Speaker 1>like Polker. But oh my god, Dave the Diver no way. <v Speaker 2>So you can also play Balatrow in Dave the Diver <v Speaker 2>when the update. So they've done like a crossover with <v Speaker 2>both of them. So there's like, I don't know where <v Speaker 2>you go in the game to do it, but there's <v Speaker 2>like full Balatrow. <v Speaker 1>In you play like the full game. <v Speaker 2>I don't know how much of it there is, but <v Speaker 2>you can definitely play an extent of buy. <v Speaker 1>So I've been seeing this a lot lately with these <v Speaker 1>indie games collabing, and it's so freaking cool. Dave the <v Speaker 1>Diver actually is a good example. They labbed with a Dredge, <v Speaker 1>and they collabed with like Godzilla, but just in general <v Speaker 1>collabing with other indie games, it's so unique. And now <v Speaker 1>it looks like among us as well. <v Speaker 2>Dude, what the he strength of indie games that. I'm <v Speaker 2>so glad they finally realized because they're all so lovely <v Speaker 2>and so friendly when they go to constgether yeah and stuff, <v Speaker 2>that it makes sense that they're now all merging. It's <v Speaker 2>just talking to each other. <v Speaker 1>Also, Balatrow in general came out of nowhere. This guy, <v Speaker 1>I think it's a one man team, just one guy. <v Speaker 1>One guy made that game. To already have all these <v Speaker 1>collabs lined up is sick, Like I can't even imagine <v Speaker 1>what that was like for him, Like did he organize this? <v Speaker 1>Did he get like propositioned? Like I don't even know <v Speaker 1>how this would have happened so quickly for him. <v Speaker 2>I literally only bought Balatroe because I saw it for <v Speaker 2>like a third week on number one spot on like <v Speaker 2>their e shop, like online. <v Speaker 1>Only, and it was in one of my videos. Maybe <v Speaker 1>that's where you saw it. <v Speaker 2>That is also where I saw it. So I was like, <v Speaker 2>I'm finally gonna give it a go and see what <v Speaker 2>everyone is playing this. And one of my mods text <v Speaker 2>me and was like, it makes your brain happy. Try it. <v Speaker 1>It is so much fun and it's really not that expensive. <v Speaker 1>How much is it like twenty bucks? <v Speaker 2>Yeah? <v Speaker 1>So these collabs, are they just themed cards or do <v Speaker 1>the do the I mean they're all jokers so they'll think. <v Speaker 2>So, so I don't know whether you can get themed decks. <v Speaker 2>And then also also, yeah, it's for free. <v Speaker 1>It's already it's already available too. It's free and it's <v Speaker 1>out today. Wow, it's a good shadow drop. That is <v Speaker 1>so cool. What a good start. Why why do people not. <v Speaker 2>Like this direct popular opinion? I think the indie part <v Speaker 2>is much better than the partner? <v Speaker 1>Really? <v Speaker 2>Yeah? <v Speaker 1>Why is that how popular? I mean so far, I agree, <v Speaker 1>but all I've seen is this. <v Speaker 2>I don't know. I always feel like the directs I <v Speaker 2>like no one else likes. But I also feel like <v Speaker 2>that's because they're directed to like the casual cozy. If <v Speaker 2>there's something cozy, then Twitter hates. <v Speaker 1>It cozy or RPG or anime. I have noticed. Yeah. <v Speaker 1>I was also people complaining that they smashed the indie <v Speaker 1>world and the normal direct together, and they were like, <v Speaker 1>why not just let them shine separately? I think it <v Speaker 1>was a fantastic idea. Where did I go? <v Speaker 2>What happened to me? <v Speaker 1>Oh? No, I've never had that happen. Oh, it just <v Speaker 1>came back on on its own. I don't know what <v Speaker 1>just happened. My camera just died my podcast? <v Speaker 2>Now? <v Speaker 1>Yeah, please if it happens again, just take it. I'll <v Speaker 1>go lie down. What was I even saying? <v Speaker 2>Oh? <v Speaker 1>I think it's a great idea because it both partner <v Speaker 1>showcase and an indie showcase are both weaker than a <v Speaker 1>regular anyway, So smashing them together and having them help <v Speaker 1>each other out such a great idea. I think. I <v Speaker 1>don't know why that would ever be a bad idea. <v Speaker 2>Can you guess what most of Chat was the entire <v Speaker 2>time these showcases were on? <v Speaker 1>Oh, I'm probably guessing clown emojis, l's and spamming. <v Speaker 2>Z's you forgot the Silk Song? <v Speaker 1>Oh, the Silk Song? Yeah, of course, of course they <v Speaker 1>put out when they tweeted that they were doing this, <v Speaker 1>they said there'll be no mention on the Nintendo Switch successor, <v Speaker 1>and then all the replies to that were what about <v Speaker 1>Silk Song? And I honestly feel like at this point, <v Speaker 1>if they're going to do disclaimers, they need to do both. <v Speaker 1>They have to do there will be no mention of <v Speaker 1>a switch to or Silk Song. Otherwise people are just <v Speaker 1>going to be disappointed. <v Speaker 2>I'm so excitful. <v Speaker 1>I wish Silk Song would say something about the development. <v Speaker 2>Wasn't it Will we get Silk Song first? Or Bensen <v Speaker 2>for the switch. <v Speaker 1>Or GTA six? <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I say Metro Prime four. <v Speaker 1>But I was going to say there Metro Prime furing it. <v Speaker 1>They it seems like they just want to go silent <v Speaker 1>and then randomly drop a trailer and be like it's <v Speaker 1>hits here, We've finished it or something. <v Speaker 2>Do you play grizz. <v Speaker 1>Riz the Rizzler? Yeah, h grizz No, I've never heard <v Speaker 1>of it. <v Speaker 2>Why Oh, then this might most next one might not <v Speaker 2>be so exciting for you, Oh Gris, Yes, grizz Grizz. <v Speaker 2>I never know. I'll just say it because I feel <v Speaker 2>like if I don't know, I. <v Speaker 1>Thought I thought you said grizz, like like rizz, like <v Speaker 1>the kids say these days when they've risen someone up. <v Speaker 1>But you're trying to grizz me right now. Clang, sorry <v Speaker 1>is blowing my buggers? Let me hit playing. If you <v Speaker 1>do like Grizz, then then is this Gris content or <v Speaker 1>is it? <v Speaker 2>They're working on a new game. It's called Never and <v Speaker 2>it's got combat. <v Speaker 1>In though I've seen this they did, They've revealed this already. <v Speaker 2>No, yeah, yeah, this is the release date trailer. <v Speaker 1>From the creators of Gris. I'm gonna turn the sound <v Speaker 1>up just a little bit. <v Speaker 2>I'm sorry, sorry, music and this is so good. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, well, Gris was all about the music. <v Speaker 2>Did you play that for the first time on Apple <v Speaker 2>Run than the Switch darning? <v Speaker 1>Yeah, there are a lot of great Apple Arcade games. <v Speaker 1>There are a lot of great Applecade games that come <v Speaker 1>to Switch and people think that they're on Switch first <v Speaker 1>and they're like, this is awesome. And I think those <v Speaker 1>same people would if they knew it was on Apple <v Speaker 1>Lockade and only Apple Lockade, they'd be like, I hate <v Speaker 1>mobile games. <v Speaker 2>Hello Kitty is coming, and I'm excited because such a slap. <v Speaker 1>Of Alan Adventure. Now I have a sneak tom. <v Speaker 2>A Plane reference in like the first two minutes. <v Speaker 1>You might know this. You might know the answer to this. <v Speaker 1>Did the Hello Kitty Island Adventure joke on South Park <v Speaker 1>originate before or after the game? <v Speaker 2>I don't know? <v Speaker 1>But do you know about it? <v Speaker 2>No? <v Speaker 1>Give me a second, But now I got to show <v Speaker 1>you this. Oh you're not going to be able to <v Speaker 1>hear it though. <v Speaker 2>To me the clip and I'll watch your land. <v Speaker 1>Oh yeah, okay, yeah, I'll do that. I'll send you <v Speaker 1>the clip and then i'll play it for chat. Hello <v Speaker 1>Kitty Island Adventure, South Bark. I don't believe you don't <v Speaker 1>know about this, so this I chat. Do you know <v Speaker 1>when this episode was? <v Speaker 2>Well, Liz is saying South Park was before. <v Speaker 1>I'm gonna I'm gonna have to this is such a <v Speaker 1>Mickey Mouse. I'm gonna turn your camera off for a second. <v Speaker 1>Hold on, just am I gonna open your chat to <v Speaker 1>send you that? All right? You opened that, and then <v Speaker 1>I'll play it here. I don't play World of Warclift, <v Speaker 1>but you said you're on your computer all the time. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>but I'm playing Hello Kitty and an advisure, so when <v Speaker 1>it cuts, that's edited, I'm pretty sure. But okay, but <v Speaker 1>the uh, the SoundBite is from I don't know like <v Speaker 1>what year this was, but this was a while ago, <v Speaker 1>two thousand and six. This is two thousand and six. <v Speaker 2>The humor of the game could have been like enough <v Speaker 2>that they went with it. <v Speaker 1>I mean they had to. I feel like they had <v Speaker 1>to have like, which is so funny that they did that, Like, <v Speaker 1>that's so funny. <v Speaker 2>It's the theme of the game though, Like there's so <v Speaker 2>many references in there that are clearly not made for kids. <v Speaker 2>I think a lot of people see it as like, <v Speaker 2>oh it's a kid's game. There's a lot in there <v Speaker 2>for adults to enjoy. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, this is off topic a little because it's not <v Speaker 1>in the current events or anything. But this game does <v Speaker 1>look legitimately good. It started as a mobile game and <v Speaker 1>it's literally Animal as an Amacrossing clone. But it looks <v Speaker 1>like they have so much extra that you can do <v Speaker 1>that Animal Crossing can't a lot, a lot more of <v Speaker 1>an actual adventure, like an island adventure. <v Speaker 2>They dared to do what Nintendo wouldn't with the personality <v Speaker 2>of the villagers. <v Speaker 1>They were just like full s End, which is great <v Speaker 1>because the villagers were very surface level. Something that Kim <v Speaker 1>always points out is this game starts and it doesn't <v Speaker 1>it doesn't have it here, but it starts like her <v Speaker 1>favorite TV show Lost where I want to find it. Actually, <v Speaker 1>i'd love to find it. I don't know where it is. <v Speaker 1>But they they crash on the island. <v Speaker 2>Right, it's like four or five film references in the <v Speaker 2>very opening of the game. It's insane, it's wonderful. <v Speaker 1>I don't know how to oh hear this might be it. <v Speaker 2>Maybe no, I've given it. <v Speaker 1>Well anyway, that the game starts with them on a <v Speaker 1>plane and then they go down and like a burning <v Speaker 1>blazer fire. It's like, it's horrible. It looks so horrible. <v Speaker 1>All right, anyway, sorry, back to never we can skip it. <v Speaker 1>But it looks gorgeous. And uh, if you haven't played <v Speaker 1>these games, it's about the visuals, it's about the music, <v Speaker 1>the storytelling. There's such mystical adventures. Yeah, five days after <v Speaker 1>my birthday. Actually beautiful game also great comes out in <v Speaker 1>full and it definitely has those full autumn vibes to <v Speaker 1>it too, So perfect timing, ah is insane. What is this? <v Speaker 2>I honestly, after watching the trailer, still don't fully know, <v Speaker 2>but it looks. <v Speaker 1>And I'll here for it, kuboot copy it. <v Speaker 2>It's a lot to take in. I think it was <v Speaker 2>just I'm silent watching this part because I just I <v Speaker 2>couldn't figure out what I was watching in the best <v Speaker 2>possible way. <v Speaker 1>So it's for listeners. It's like a pixel art style game. <v Speaker 1>It's giving me undertail but with color and a little <v Speaker 1>bit more detail. And yeah, it seems like it's just <v Speaker 1>cutting around a bunch of different types of gameplay and <v Speaker 1>meeting characters and puzzles and mini games. And I'm not <v Speaker 1>really sure what's happening either, but it has so much personality, <v Speaker 1>there's so much to it. Yeah, I have no idea <v Speaker 1>what's happening at all. <v Speaker 2>It's very tell you what type of game this is? <v Speaker 1>Very oh oh god, very undertail coded, but at the <v Speaker 1>same time definitely its own thing. It's a shoot them up, <v Speaker 1>it's a it's a it's a coloring game. I don't know. <v Speaker 1>I actually the more I'm watching it, the more I <v Speaker 1>want to see play that the Spring twenty twenty five, <v Speaker 1>Can I say that? So far for any direct You <v Speaker 1>are so on point. This is awesome. That Balato doc <v Speaker 1>is sick never looks awesome. We did already know about that, <v Speaker 1>but it's cool to see it. And then whatever that <v Speaker 1>is looks really unique. <v Speaker 2>This is the one that got me. <v Speaker 1>For me, I haven't really played much of any Coffee <v Speaker 1>Talk at all, but I did hear about this Coffee <v Speaker 1>Talk Tokyo. Now you have my interest as a fellow weeb, <v Speaker 1>as somebody who is obsessed with Japan. This is actually interesting. <v Speaker 1>If you guys haven't played Coffee Talk games, do you? <v Speaker 1>Why don't you describe it? <v Speaker 2>They are like a visual novel, So you kind of <v Speaker 2>run a coffee bar, but you run it at night <v Speaker 2>so you don't have that many customers, and even though <v Speaker 2>you don't leave your space behind the bar or the <v Speaker 2>customers that come in and talk to you kind of <v Speaker 2>describe what's going on. So the original games were in <v Speaker 2>an alternative version of Seattle, and it's where like orcs <v Speaker 2>exist in there. All the fantasy creatures are in there <v Speaker 2>alongside humans, and you find out things like the politics <v Speaker 2>of the world, everything that's happening, and then you get <v Speaker 2>to see the people, get to know each other each <v Speaker 2>other out in their lives. Well, one thing no one <v Speaker 2>ever mentions enough about Coffee Talk is the game is <v Speaker 2>one self aware, two has different endings based on the <v Speaker 2>coffees you serve to people, and three changes the number <v Speaker 2>of times you play through it. <v Speaker 1>Oh, that's actually interesting. I didn't know that the. <v Speaker 2>Game recognizes that you're in a you're replaying it. Oh, wow, <v Speaker 2>things change. <v Speaker 1>That's really cool. Also, you make coffee for. <v Speaker 2>People, which yes, and it determines their fate essentially, so <v Speaker 2>they have a good ending and a bad ending dependent <v Speaker 2>on what you serve them and if you figure out <v Speaker 2>what they like to have, what drink to give them <v Speaker 2>at a certain time. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, I'm definitely way more interested in this now that <v Speaker 1>it's in Tokyo. I'm not famously not a fanographic novels, <v Speaker 1>which I get some crap for at times, but you <v Speaker 1>can't love everything, and graphic novels have always just kind of, <v Speaker 1>for lack of a better word, brought me to tears. <v Speaker 1>But this one does look interesting. I think it's a <v Speaker 1>mix of how good the story seems to be in <v Speaker 1>the writing, but also you are making coffee for people, <v Speaker 1>and this time it's in Tokyo. And there's a lot <v Speaker 1>of things here that are screaming at me. If you <v Speaker 1>if you're not gonna like this graphic novel, you're probably screwed. <v Speaker 2>So yeah, this is probably the I've been enjoying to <v Speaker 2>have and talk but yeah, this is the thing that <v Speaker 2>got me into visual novels. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, I'll definitely give that one a shot. Then see <v Speaker 1>a Star's DLC, which you. <v Speaker 2>Knew this was coming because it was in the kickstarter. <v Speaker 1>Yes, I didn't know that. Actually you just taught me that. <v Speaker 1>Thank you, I said, yes, like I knew. I did <v Speaker 1>not know. No, I didn't expect DEOC at all because <v Speaker 1>I finished this game and I felt like it was <v Speaker 1>a very complete package. And I gotta be honest, I <v Speaker 1>really wasn't they don't want to sound mean. Wasn't looking <v Speaker 1>for more. It was such a perfect complete package that <v Speaker 1>I felt very satisfied. I'm not even that keen to <v Speaker 1>to dive back in, but I am liking what I'm seeing. <v Speaker 2>And yeah, there's a new character. The character I don't know. <v Speaker 2>I can't remember how much there is in term as <v Speaker 2>a story content, but there must be something because they're <v Speaker 2>showing it. <v Speaker 1>The design of everything in the world is really cool, <v Speaker 1>really creepy. It's actually giving like a I don't know, <v Speaker 1>sure it's free. It's kind of giving one piece vibes <v Speaker 1>for some reason. I'm not sure why kind one. <v Speaker 2>It might be wrong about it being free, but I <v Speaker 2>think it's free. <v Speaker 1>No, I heard it was free as well. I'm sure <v Speaker 1>chat will let us know if I'm wrong. Oh, get <v Speaker 1>out of my swamp. <v Speaker 2>This is insane. <v Speaker 1>They added Shrek paid Shrek content to powerwash simulator. Also, <v Speaker 1>the washer is like a sword. That's really cool. <v Speaker 2>So something someone pointed out to me is they couldn't <v Speaker 2>cover it in mud this time because Shrek loves mud. Oh, <v Speaker 2>they had to cover it in glitter. <v Speaker 1>That's actually really cute. I like that a lot. Actually, <v Speaker 1>that's really cute. I will say a couple of things <v Speaker 1>about this game. It is deceptively fun. I do like it. <v Speaker 1>I bought it on to play on steam Deck though, <v Speaker 1>because visually, and you can kind of see here on <v Speaker 1>switch it looks really rough. And something about this game <v Speaker 1>and how calming and soothing it is. I wanted better <v Speaker 1>frame rates too, I wanted it to feel smoother. I <v Speaker 1>just wanted to be more relaxed. And it runs like <v Speaker 1>a dream on Steam and it's just a little chunky <v Speaker 1>on on switch and looks a little chunky. But if <v Speaker 1>that's how you you're gonna play it, I'm sure it's fine. <v Speaker 1>It's fine. I like it a lot. I don't know <v Speaker 1>if I'm playing it wrong, but I always find cleaning <v Speaker 1>things takes way too long. <v Speaker 2>I think it's meant to take a while, but. <v Speaker 1>Like one level will take like two hours to clean everything. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. Yeah, I guess if you bought like just the <v Speaker 2>base game, though there aren't that many so they need <v Speaker 2>to like. <v Speaker 1>Okay, it's just kind it out a little. Sometimes I'm <v Speaker 1>cleaning like a house or something, and I feel like, <v Speaker 1>all right, I've pretty much cleaned this thing. This is good. <v Speaker 2>I think I'm interested to know. Is is it quicker <v Speaker 2>or slower than actually powerwashing something? <v Speaker 1>Uh? It was definitely quicker. <v Speaker 2>I feel I've never powerwashed ever. <v Speaker 1>I mean as far as powerwashing like a full swamp <v Speaker 1>like I imagine that would take days. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, true, true. Uh. <v Speaker 1>Someone in chat said watching would pick his nose and <v Speaker 1>scratch his beer. Is starting to grow on me. All right. <v Speaker 1>For one, I'm sick that's really mean. For two, trust me, <v Speaker 1>I am not picking my nose because it is a <v Speaker 1>it is a water park up there. It is all wet. <v Speaker 1>There's nothing to pick. So if you see me doing <v Speaker 1>anything with my nose, it's scratching it because I'm sick <v Speaker 1>and it's it's itchy. But in saying that, if it's <v Speaker 1>growing on you, I hope you like it. All right, <v Speaker 1>we gotta be quicker here morsels and there's a cat, <v Speaker 1>So I'm already liking it. <v Speaker 2>This is another game where I don't know what to <v Speaker 2>say because I don't know what was happening. There's just <v Speaker 2>it's a lot. <v Speaker 1>Oh, it's so funny. It's also it looks like the <v Speaker 1>other game too, like a high definition of the other game. <v Speaker 1>Oh I love that guy. Wow. The animations and character <v Speaker 1>designs are really neat. Looks like it's card based. Yeah, no, <v Speaker 1>I'm yeah. Looks I like how it has like an <v Speaker 1>old TV scan filter over the whole game too, kind <v Speaker 1>of gives like an old game boy feeling. <v Speaker 2>The way the frog just like numbs on the Oh. <v Speaker 1>The character design and animations are fantastic, So yeah, I <v Speaker 1>guess it's like a kind of isometric card card basic <v Speaker 1>times beat him up style, maybe with a story a <v Speaker 1>little bit of a Frogger element to it. I can't <v Speaker 1>I yeah, you know what, shoot him up? I can't <v Speaker 1>really tell what it is. But very unique art style. <v Speaker 1>I love that all right? In the interesting time, Oh <v Speaker 1>I heard about this date everything. <v Speaker 2>This is wild. This is absolutely bonkers. <v Speaker 1>I think I have to hear this one. <v Speaker 2>Wait until you see one of the characters. <v Speaker 1>Wait, so things turn into people for this next game? <v Speaker 2>Yes, things are people. Everything is a person's objects and <v Speaker 2>appliances turn into eligible love interests in which you can everything. <v Speaker 2>You can date your toilet. <v Speaker 1>Oh my god, look Henry the hoover. What's he sucking? <v Speaker 1>That's what I want to know. <v Speaker 2>I want to know what rating this game? <v Speaker 1>Love dating your pantry? Yep, this is out of control. <v Speaker 2>It's going to get even more world in the second. <v Speaker 2>What is that existential dread? <v Speaker 1>Oh my god, it looks like that dream guy? But <v Speaker 1>buff is that? What did what did that? Where did <v Speaker 1>that come from? <v Speaker 2>I don't know, I don't know, I don't know. <v Speaker 1>Wait is it actually actually your own accidential dread? <v Speaker 2>I have no idea. I assume, so can I assume <v Speaker 2>they're datable? <v Speaker 1>I heard I saw as someone said you could date <v Speaker 1>a toilet. <v Speaker 2>I think that's something. I don't know if there actually <v Speaker 2>is a toy. I assume there is. I like the <v Speaker 2>fact you can date the chat box though. <v Speaker 1>That's funny. That's very clever. Actually, I'll say that, other <v Speaker 1>than the premise, it looks like it's just a graphic <v Speaker 1>novel with a lot of like looking at character models <v Speaker 1>and just doing chat boxes, which does not interest me <v Speaker 1>at all in the slightest. But the premise does actually <v Speaker 1>very very much intrigue me. <v Speaker 2>It's all in the dialogue. If the dialog continues to <v Speaker 2>be funny hours into it, and then I think it <v Speaker 2>could be a good game someone. If I'm with these <v Speaker 2>like they can get a bit old, like the premise <v Speaker 2>gets a bit old in the. <v Speaker 1>First few Yeah, yeah, I could see that, definitely get <v Speaker 1>but I don't know, maybe not, we'll see. It reminds <v Speaker 1>me of that other boyfriend, uh boyfriend Dungeon or something <v Speaker 1>game I played a bit that, yeah, with the main <v Speaker 1>guy looked like me. <v Speaker 2>And you could date your weapons with that. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, uh huh. I'm still not convinced they didn't use <v Speaker 1>me as a character reference for that. Like I they <v Speaker 1>obviously they made it way harder than me, and they <v Speaker 1>gave him abs and he just looked better than me. <v Speaker 1>But he had my ear gauges, he had my hair <v Speaker 1>and beard. And I actually found a photo of me <v Speaker 1>online when you google me that is like the perfect <v Speaker 1>reference photo for the main art. I think I tweeted <v Speaker 1>it at some point. I don't know where it is. <v Speaker 1>I don't want to seem considered. I know the cartoon <v Speaker 1>version is harder than me, but it just I swear <v Speaker 1>I looked at it and I was like, that's me. <v Speaker 1>I think dream Daddy? Was it? Dream Daddy? Did I <v Speaker 1>play it? No? I did out a protest because I <v Speaker 1>didn't get paid. <v Speaker 2>Fair fair? <v Speaker 1>Uh, all right, what is it? Next? One is I <v Speaker 1>heard about this? So someone described this to me as <v Speaker 1>a like a roguelike RPG Pegl. <v Speaker 2>Yes, that's how they describe it as well. <v Speaker 1>Oh really, Now I loved pegl. Did you did you <v Speaker 1>play it? <v Speaker 2>I had a homemade version? I think? <v Speaker 1>Oh really? So I had Pegel on my PC when <v Speaker 1>I was a kid, and I was obsessed with that game. <v Speaker 1>I can't remember what it was. I'd always try and <v Speaker 1>do because you wanted to end with a certain amount <v Speaker 1>of balls or something. I don't know, but but I <v Speaker 1>just remember playing it to death and every time you're <v Speaker 1>beating a level that doing that, like the Hallelujah music, <v Speaker 1>whatever it was. <v Speaker 2>I think I'm getting Pegel confused with the the in <v Speaker 2>real life version where you like drop a marble down <v Speaker 2>and there's like nails. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, I think that's what inspired Pegel. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I had that, and my grandparents they had a <v Speaker 2>homemade version in the garden. <v Speaker 1>I'll bring up I'll bring up Pegel. My god in <v Speaker 1>the Unicorn and all the different characters and their abilities. <v Speaker 1>Oh dude, this level, this level slapped. If you could <v Speaker 1>get the ball on the exact right point, you could <v Speaker 1>with one ball you could hit them all because it <v Speaker 1>would just get stuck in the middle. Oh and it's <v Speaker 1>playing the music right now. This is so nostalgic. <v Speaker 2>Were we go? Oh god, they not just put this. <v Speaker 2>This is one of the ports that we need. <v Speaker 1>I think peg is on switch. Actually, I'm pretty sure <v Speaker 1>it is. So this is that Oh my god, that <v Speaker 1>level right there is actually a Pegle level. I remember <v Speaker 1>that level. I'm not even playing the spider Web. <v Speaker 2>And then you use it to like battle. I assume <v Speaker 2>I think it will. <v Speaker 1>The more you hit. <v Speaker 2>The more I've heard it's really like, but people have <v Speaker 2>said that it's quite addictive. It's one of those games <v Speaker 2>which doesn't look like different. You knows undermine it and <v Speaker 2>you play it and then you're like, oh, hold on, <v Speaker 2>I'm hooked. <v Speaker 1>Oh yeah, that's that's Peggle. I mean, somewhat surprised. It's <v Speaker 1>just already out somewhere on Steam. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, so this is just it coming to the switch or. <v Speaker 1>Actually my my YouTuber manager message me and asked me <v Speaker 1>if I've played it yet, so it might be on <v Speaker 1>switch now? Is it on switch already? <v Speaker 2>Yeah, it came out it was a shadow drop. <v Speaker 1>Oh my god. Well, okay, I might have to check <v Speaker 1>that out today. Then bilbilated today. I love when they <v Speaker 1>do that. This event has been great so far, this Indy, <v Speaker 1>this Indian old. <v Speaker 2>Why are people it's not mean? <v Speaker 1>Yeah, this is awesome. <v Speaker 2>The Partner Showcase is worse. <v Speaker 1>This honestly might be one of the best indie directs. <v Speaker 1>Yeah slaps uh. <v Speaker 2>Maybe directs normally twenty minutes or are they longer? Because <v Speaker 2>I wonder if they like pick the best of the <v Speaker 2>best for both instead of elongating either of them. <v Speaker 1>I don't want to speak out of turn, but I <v Speaker 1>feel like they are always between ten and twenty. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, yeah, because this one's strong. <v Speaker 1>This one is strong. I don't know about this. This <v Speaker 1>isn't speaking to me. <v Speaker 2>Chat Will going wild for this when this came out, <v Speaker 2>So I feel like this is a fun way line. <v Speaker 2>I haven't played it though. <v Speaker 1>I'm really not a big fan of this. This is <v Speaker 1>a whole genre of like weird little guy little guys <v Speaker 1>that control terribly and they wobble around and you have <v Speaker 1>to fight the controls and compete with people. I hate <v Speaker 1>this whole genre. I don't know why, like the full <v Speaker 1>guys of it all, the even the human full flat <v Speaker 1>or the gang beasts not interested. So this really yeah, <v Speaker 1>I can't. I don't know why. Just again, one like <v Speaker 1>a graphic novel, just doesn't connect with me. It is <v Speaker 1>because I want a game to have tight controls. That's like, <v Speaker 1>I feel like that's what I want. I want a <v Speaker 1>game to have tight controls and to and I can <v Speaker 1>feel like I can master them and get really good <v Speaker 1>at them, and they're really responsive, and I hate when <v Speaker 1>the controls fight me the whole time. I feel like, like. <v Speaker 2>Inherent I stuck at games. So I feel like it <v Speaker 2>gives me a level play. <v Speaker 1>An advantage because everybody is struggling. <v Speaker 2>Okay, yeah, exactly exactly. So I come from the different <v Speaker 2>area of like, finally I stand a chance. <v Speaker 1>I feel that. Then I love it. I changed my mind. <v Speaker 1>I changed my mind for you. <v Speaker 2>I haven't tried this. I think it's already out on <v Speaker 2>PC and I haven't. I haven't tried this. <v Speaker 1>It's but ugly. I gotta be honest, it is. It <v Speaker 1>is hideously ugly. <v Speaker 2>I hope it runs well on the switch. <v Speaker 1>I can't imagine it running. <v Speaker 2>Bad because it needs it needs to. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, it needs to. <v Speaker 2>This is hype. I've never played this before, but I've <v Speaker 2>loved watching people play this, Like my favorite Twitch streamers <v Speaker 2>will play this together. <v Speaker 1>I don't know if I've ever seen or heard of <v Speaker 1>Picko Puck one. <v Speaker 2>Have you not? It was all over like YouTube and <v Speaker 2>Twitch for a bit where everyone was it's. <v Speaker 1>Not like a Nintendo game. It looks like it's something <v Speaker 1>that could have been on like a DF or something. <v Speaker 2>I don't I assume Pigo park one was on the switch. <v Speaker 1>I've never played never there is this. I missed this. <v Speaker 2>Well, we can play this. I think up to eight <v Speaker 2>people can play this together. Yeah, there we go. <v Speaker 1>It's got like a only up vibe or like a <v Speaker 1>chain together vibe of those games that are releasing a <v Speaker 1>lot recently where you play with friends and you you <v Speaker 1>try and climb up or solve puzzles together. Yeah, they're <v Speaker 1>all tied together to. <v Speaker 2>One person can screw you all over. So it caused <v Speaker 2>a lot of chaos. <v Speaker 1>The how basic it looks is reminding me of games <v Speaker 1>I used to play back in the day. I don't <v Speaker 1>know if like I'm thinking of MS DOS or Commodore <v Speaker 1>or what it was I was playing on, but like <v Speaker 1>that screenshot specifically just is taking me back to a <v Speaker 1>time at as simple a time, and it's giving me <v Speaker 1>weird nostalgia. It's so basic, it's so rudimentary but. <v Speaker 2>Simple, but with the right people videos fantastic. <v Speaker 1>Yeah. So well, similar to games like Like among Us, <v Speaker 1>Like the game itself is just a means to an end. <v Speaker 1>It's the people that make the game fun. <v Speaker 2>So the thing that was hype about this announcement was <v Speaker 2>it's the announcement of the second one and it's dropping <v Speaker 2>as an exclusive. <v Speaker 1>Oh my god, and it's today. <v Speaker 2>Timed exclusive on the Switch and. <v Speaker 1>By today I mean two days ago. Man. Pretty much <v Speaker 1>all of these were like shadow Drops. Huh. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, there was a lot of games the release that day. <v Speaker 1>Shovel Knight, Shovel of Hope DX. Now what now there's <v Speaker 1>so much shovel Night call in something. What is this? <v Speaker 2>I'm never going to Shovel Night. <v Speaker 1>Okay, I'm not like played like the first one. I <v Speaker 1>don't know what all the colin? Oh what is this? <v Speaker 2>I mean how to europea before. It's such a cool <v Speaker 2>premise that the demo made me cry. <v Speaker 1>Oh wait, that's not hard. But I think I did. <v Speaker 1>I think I did play the demo of that. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, does it looks okay? On the Switch? <v Speaker 1>I was actually they dropped a demo one Switch like <v Speaker 1>several months. Yeah, I know I did play this, I <v Speaker 1>think or I watched my friend's scoot stream at maybe I. <v Speaker 2>Was presantly surprised by the Switch demo. <v Speaker 1>Actually it looks beautiful. I remember it being kind of <v Speaker 1>kind of average, like the demo was like very I <v Speaker 1>don't want to use the word rudimentary again. But maybe <v Speaker 1>I'm misremembering because this is like to Hope. <v Speaker 2>This is Switch footage. But I'm not one hundred percent. <v Speaker 1>I think so. I think so. I think Nintendo might <v Speaker 1>have a role that the footage shown has to be <v Speaker 1>on switch because well because just because I see so <v Speaker 1>many games like the The Powerwashing one using switch footage <v Speaker 1>when yeah, true, if they were able to use anything else, <v Speaker 1>do you think they would? I think? <v Speaker 2>Is there a release date announcement? <v Speaker 1>Oh? When was it? <v Speaker 2>I think? I think is another October. <v Speaker 1>On January twenty eighth. No wait, this is this new game? Yeah, <v Speaker 1>October eleven, one day after my birthday? What are you <v Speaker 1>getting me? <v Speaker 2>You got Indian's what am I getting you? Clearly indie games, <v Speaker 2>because it's all coming out and. <v Speaker 1>I'll take them. Oh, this was like Bastion Chrisina because <v Speaker 1>this is one of the ones coming out next year. <v Speaker 2>It's a mix between being a dungeon crawler, but you <v Speaker 2>also manage a cafe or a restaurant. <v Speaker 1>Oh and I am listening to you, but it started <v Speaker 1>playing The Sexy One. Hold on, let me go back. <v Speaker 1>What I remember that game? I remember that game from <v Speaker 1>another direct and chat was going crazy because it's all <v Speaker 1>furries with like big big badunkadunks and like or the <v Speaker 1>gameplay that they capture is always from like third person <v Speaker 1>down low behind looking right out of the butt, like <v Speaker 1>you'll see what I mean. In a second. This game <v Speaker 1>looks interesting. This first, this Christina one, I'm actually interested <v Speaker 1>in that, but who cares about that. Let's look, let's <v Speaker 1>let's see. <v Speaker 2>Now. <v Speaker 1>Tell me that some of these shots are on purpose. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, yeah, some of them are not entirely necessary. <v Speaker 1>I mean this is a really quick look. It only <v Speaker 1>happened once, to be fair. But there's a lot of <v Speaker 1>thick characters in that game. Oh it's interesting of the <v Speaker 1>Sexy one. <v Speaker 2>Yes, yeah, yeah. The like mechanics for figuring things out <v Speaker 2>are really really unique and really cool. Actually, it kind <v Speaker 2>of uses cards each pieced together the mystery that you're <v Speaker 2>dealing with, which is pretty cool. But yeah, some of <v Speaker 2>the shorts. <v Speaker 1>You're the perfect guest today. You have so much input <v Speaker 1>on some of these. Thank you. Thank you for helping. <v Speaker 1>Usually when I end up having to do like these <v Speaker 1>direct walkthroughs with a guest, I'm having to like explain <v Speaker 1>every little thing to them, or I see them looking <v Speaker 1>at me with a blank stare and they're just like, <v Speaker 1>all right, cool, No, I'm. <v Speaker 2>Plain I try and keep up with I. <v Speaker 1>Can't see that. You're awesome. Thank you so much. All right, <v Speaker 1>Metal slug Tactics, I mean, this is metal Slug, but <v Speaker 1>a tactics game. I hope it's good. I'm honestly not <v Speaker 1>too interested in playing a tactic game in the Metal <v Speaker 1>Slug universe. But one thing I've always appreciated for Metal <v Speaker 1>Slug is the awesome pixelar and it looks like they've <v Speaker 1>done that. Oh, this one looks really cool already. I've <v Speaker 1>been so excited for this, The Plucky Squire. It's a <v Speaker 1>storybook game. You play on pages of the storybook, but <v Speaker 1>you can bust out from your two D character into <v Speaker 1>a three D character. <v Speaker 2>Cool. <v Speaker 1>I'm so excited. Not that it's anything, but I actually <v Speaker 1>have always had an idea for a video game, and <v Speaker 1>it was this. It was very similar to this, not <v Speaker 1>quite this. Mine was very like I had this idea <v Speaker 1>of doing exactly this, but like segmented like puzzle pieces, <v Speaker 1>and as you played, you have to connect pieces together <v Speaker 1>to get across the world a bit more. This is <v Speaker 1>a different approach to the idea I had. But just <v Speaker 1>the fact that I'm seeing a game similar to a <v Speaker 1>game I wanted to make because I wanted to play it. <v Speaker 1>It's very exciting because now I can just play this. <v Speaker 1>I don't have to make it myself, not that was <v Speaker 1>ever going to happen. But yeah, no, really cool. My <v Speaker 1>idea and what might have also inspired this idea both <v Speaker 1>came from Link between Worlds and the concept of a <v Speaker 1>three D game where you would go into the two D. <v Speaker 1>This is a two D where you go into the <v Speaker 1>three D you pay that. <v Speaker 2>On the Was it three DS? So I think it <v Speaker 2>was a remake on the three DS? <v Speaker 1>Wasn't it Link between Worlds? <v Speaker 2>Was it a remake? It was? <v Speaker 1>It was three DS, but it was a sequel to <v Speaker 1>Link to the Past, which, if I can remember the story, <v Speaker 1>I think they were making a remake for Link to <v Speaker 1>the Past, and then eventually they were like, let's just <v Speaker 1>make this its own thing and make a sequel. I <v Speaker 1>think I think that was the story. I should really know. <v Speaker 1>Oh and then the one more thing in the indie <v Speaker 1>direct was Pizza Tower. <v Speaker 2>See this doesn't have any meaning to me, really, people <v Speaker 2>going wild over it. <v Speaker 1>I my friend Bob loves this game. It's very He <v Speaker 1>likes to like Speed Run Mario and like the original <v Speaker 1>Marios and stuff like that, and this is very similar. <v Speaker 1>Vibes of you are going essentially left to right, not always, <v Speaker 1>but it's a left to right side scrawler, and you <v Speaker 1>just you want to do it as quick as you can. <v Speaker 1>But there's such cool animations. It's like an old like <v Speaker 1>nineties cartoon, really fast paced and also has like meat <v Speaker 1>Boy inspirations super meat Boy. Yeah, very cool, and it's <v Speaker 1>one that is perfect for Switch that has been completely <v Speaker 1>absent from Switch for the last year. And it looks like, <v Speaker 1>because I'm skipping ahead a little bit, it's already available <v Speaker 1>later today, it's already on Switch. <v Speaker 2>How many games? <v Speaker 1>Yeah? Now let me ask you this, how much time <v Speaker 1>do you have because we're at an hour for you, <v Speaker 1>I just have. <v Speaker 2>To go and bring my doorbell in, but my shopping <v Speaker 2>doesn't even get here till gone ten. So we're good. <v Speaker 1>Do you have time for this next half? <v Speaker 2>Yes? <v Speaker 1>Oh my god, I love you, thank you so much. <v Speaker 2>I also don't think that we're going to take nearly <v Speaker 2>as long on this part, you. <v Speaker 1>Know what, you might be all right, we'll try and <v Speaker 1>be quick anyway. But all right, so now we're heading <v Speaker 1>in to the partner showcase, which. <v Speaker 2>This was slower for me. This felt slower. <v Speaker 1>Well's it's that's funny because it's the same speed, it's <v Speaker 1>the same it's also twenty minutes just like the first half. <v Speaker 1>So the first part is Tetris. Yep, lots of what <v Speaker 1>am I looking at? <v Speaker 2>Here is the fortieth anniversary of Tetris, I believe, so <v Speaker 2>they're bringing out a lot of Tetris, a lot of Tetris. <v Speaker 2>You can play the online mode where it was keep one, <v Speaker 2>switching between types of Tetrises. Okay now, along with all <v Speaker 2>the old ones being available and a documentary of the <v Speaker 2>history of Tetris as well. <v Speaker 1>Cool cool. I like Tetris as much as the next guy. <v Speaker 2>I like the music more than the game. <v Speaker 1>I think bing bing bing bing bing bang bing bing ba. <v Speaker 1>I know. Ah. This next one I saw actually as <v Speaker 1>I was waking up this morning, I saw the trailer <v Speaker 1>for this on YouTube tube and I watched it because <v Speaker 1>it looked like Outer Worlds from the screen grab, this <v Speaker 1>looks so good. Yeah, no, I actually think it looks <v Speaker 1>really interesting. There's got a lot of personality. It's playing <v Speaker 1>like some kind of rock music, a smash. <v Speaker 2>Of different genres as well. Like I like the the <v Speaker 2>way you site see is or my new places is <v Speaker 2>driving yourself around. <v Speaker 1>On a on a like a horveryboard type thing. Yeah. <v Speaker 2>Everyone in my chat was saying Planet vibes. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, I'm kind of getting oh god, what is that <v Speaker 1>Gome Saber? I'm getting Saber vibes from this. I'm getting <v Speaker 1>outer world vibes a little in the in the visuals. <v Speaker 2>Uh, it's just because and everything in this. <v Speaker 1>I'm getting Breath of the Wild. I'm getting Battle for <v Speaker 1>Star Starlink, Battle for Atlas. In the visuals, I'm getting <v Speaker 1>a lot of things. Definitely unique. Also getting high fight <v Speaker 1>rush just because of like the the guitar and the <v Speaker 1>hacking slash of it all. Yeah, very interesting, definitely looking <v Speaker 1>forward to that. <v Speaker 2>No one comes out or if it even had a <v Speaker 2>release date. <v Speaker 1>I feel like every direct ever has a Goat Simulator. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>I don't know what the deal is with that, but <v Speaker 1>we have Goat. <v Speaker 2>Simulator three Goat sim to what was announced to the <v Speaker 2>game's can presentation thing, because that was like a remaster <v Speaker 2>or the original. <v Speaker 1>Okay, so that's what I thought this. <v Speaker 2>Was and it wasn't. <v Speaker 1>It was Goat Simulator is fun. I just feel like <v Speaker 1>there's a lot of it. There's always there's always, there's <v Speaker 1>always in one, you know. All right, you take these <v Speaker 1>next parts while I've blow my nose. What are we <v Speaker 1>looking at here? This was the one I saw that <v Speaker 1>was twenty twenty five. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, there's another one coming out that twenty twenty five. <v Speaker 2>As so this is this CHAWPG. I don't even know, <v Speaker 2>but it looks to be. Oh that was gone already. <v Speaker 2>Now we're on Star Wars. <v Speaker 1>Honey, Oh my god, that was so quick. I'm sorry <v Speaker 1>that this game's already out. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, they didn't they we didn't really get to know <v Speaker 2>what on earth this was. Really. They were like, here's <v Speaker 2>the game, it's gone. <v Speaker 1>Uh. I do think this is a game in a <v Speaker 1>series of games, Legend of Heroes. Yeah, Trails in the <v Speaker 1>Sky the first. What a name? <v Speaker 2>Going to be a theme to this? <v Speaker 1>Very gens and looking Yeah, I think people were excited <v Speaker 1>for this. <v Speaker 2>If it looks like this on the switch though, I <v Speaker 2>can see why because it's giving me Xena Blade if <v Speaker 2>Oh god, I'm and I'm sorry to bring up Xena <v Speaker 2>Blade and okay, I'm a Xena Blade lover. <v Speaker 1>I'm sorry for hanging out today. We'll be finished. No, <v Speaker 1>I'm kidding. I love that Wade, I doe it. I <v Speaker 1>like to meme on it. I do too. Now, how <v Speaker 1>do you feel about the second one? <v Speaker 2>Not as good as the third? <v Speaker 1>One not as good as any any video game period. <v Speaker 2>I actually right, But if you filter out the noises <v Speaker 2>when they battle. <v Speaker 1>If you feel throughout the battle noises, if you filter <v Speaker 1>out the stupid, the stupid little fur ball guy and <v Speaker 1>everything he says. Ever, if you make him Japanese. <v Speaker 2>Close your eyes in some of the cut scenes in <v Speaker 2>your ears. Sometimes it's really good if. <v Speaker 1>You just ignore half of the game and you make <v Speaker 1>sure to get thirty hours into when it gets good. <v Speaker 2>I like the overall story, though, even though I didn't <v Speaker 2>understand the ending, and I even googled the ending and <v Speaker 2>I still don't understand the ending. <v Speaker 1>It has nothing to understand. It sucks. <v Speaker 2>But three, I have never cried so much in my <v Speaker 2>life as I did finishing. I mean the last like <v Speaker 2>four or five hours is Nibay Chronicles three. Yeah, I <v Speaker 2>was just ugly crying the whole way through. <v Speaker 1>I'm goofing a little on Ennoblay two. I don't like it, <v Speaker 1>but I'm being over dramatic. But the first one and <v Speaker 1>the third one are awesome, and I agree with the <v Speaker 1>third one. The third one did a great job at <v Speaker 1>being very convoluted but then all making sense by the end. <v Speaker 1>And same with the first one too. The first one <v Speaker 1>wasn't too convoluted, but everything making sense at the end <v Speaker 1>is both those games. The way that they reveal things <v Speaker 1>at the end is like, oh my god, what a <v Speaker 1>what a revelation? And yeah, the third one was awesome. <v Speaker 2>Use Na Chronicles three as example as to why I <v Speaker 2>don't like Final Fantasy sixteen. <v Speaker 1>Oh interesting, yeah, Final Fantasy will tell me so. <v Speaker 2>Final Fantasy sixteen first ever Final Fantasy game. I picked <v Speaker 2>the rough way. In the. <v Speaker 1>First Blade, it's not even a Final Fantasy game, not <v Speaker 1>really so. <v Speaker 2>In Xeni Blade the three, the thing I like is <v Speaker 2>you have like a fourteen minute boss battle, but you <v Speaker 2>are rewarded with good chunks of story that often tell <v Speaker 2>you something that makes you want to go find the <v Speaker 2>next chunk of story. And sixteen did not do that <v Speaker 2>at any point. <v Speaker 1>The sixteen. I don't know what image you have a <v Speaker 1>Final Fantasy now because you started with that one. But <v Speaker 1>sixteen is unlike every other Final Fantasy. It took a <v Speaker 1>complete deviation from the series, and it was also produced <v Speaker 1>by the same creator who makes the MML the fourteen, <v Speaker 1>so it kind of blended MMO elements with like an <v Speaker 1>action Zeno blade type game, and it it wasn't really interesting. <v Speaker 1>It was it was It was okay. It had fantastic <v Speaker 1>music and cool fight scenes, but the combat was very rudimentary. <v Speaker 1>I've used that word three times today. I usually don't <v Speaker 1>even use that. <v Speaker 2>The story was like, I don't know, they made it <v Speaker 2>last so long it could have been over. <v Speaker 1>Oh yeah, it lasted forever. I enjoyed it. I think <v Speaker 1>it's like a fun seven out of ten, but it's <v Speaker 1>not like a Final Fantasy game. If you want a <v Speaker 1>Final Fantasy game, you should try playing Rebirth because that <v Speaker 1>was really good. <v Speaker 2>Or when ten is a good one to go for. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, tens, Ten's really good. Obviously seven the original seven. <v Speaker 1>I think nine is my favorite. <v Speaker 2>Remakeer seven right now? Remaker seven? <v Speaker 1>Yeah? Seven remake, Yeah, that's the one I said. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>I would start on seven remake because it's so good. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>I try chat what was the last good core Final <v Speaker 1>Fantasy And don't say sixteen? <v Speaker 2>Finished sixteen yet? <v Speaker 1>Which was maybe twelve? I think probably ten honestly, ten <v Speaker 1>and ten two. Anyway, let's let's get back on track here. <v Speaker 1>You got you got shopping coming? Yeah, I also have <v Speaker 1>shopping coming. Did you amazon it? No? <v Speaker 2>We have like the supermarkets here do it? <v Speaker 1>Oh, yes, so do we. But we have Amazon, so <v Speaker 1>it was it's just easier to do Amazon. We didn't <v Speaker 1>want to go to the store because my boy's sick. <v Speaker 2>I was on my last Lee roll. So it's a <v Speaker 2>desperation shop. I'm not a brue adult yet I can't <v Speaker 2>keep track of my house. <v Speaker 1>That's funny. We just got home from being away and <v Speaker 1>we had fried biscuits, you know if our biscuits. Good <v Speaker 1>friend of me in front of the show, he watched <v Speaker 1>our house and we were out of everything. We're out <v Speaker 1>of garbage bags, we're out of paper towels, we've had <v Speaker 1>a toilet paper. It's like, okay, I guess I gotta <v Speaker 1>buy all this stuff, all right. Star Wars Hunters season three. <v Speaker 1>I played Star Wars Hunters. I don't know if you <v Speaker 1>know what it is, but it's. <v Speaker 2>You don't even like Star Wars really, you know what? <v Speaker 1>That's a gottural reaction I always have when someone says that, <v Speaker 1>I don't blame you at this point, because there is <v Speaker 1>love one that thank you. There's more bad Style Wars <v Speaker 1>then good Star Wars, so I don't even blame you. Rogues. <v Speaker 1>Have you seen the original trilogy, like the very first trilogy. <v Speaker 2>I love three is really good actually. <v Speaker 1>From like the seventies and eighties. <v Speaker 2>No, the remake three and then the original, not the remake, <v Speaker 2>the sorry in the third chronologically? <v Speaker 1>What do you mean remake three? <v Speaker 2>You mean remake? I mean, I'm not. I don't know. <v Speaker 1>I mean the one with Ray, the one with Ray <v Speaker 1>and uh. <v Speaker 2>No, no, no, no, the third one chronologically in the <v Speaker 2>full Star Wars. <v Speaker 1>So the one made back in the eighties. The Yeah, <v Speaker 1>I forgot what the sixth one? <v Speaker 2>You mean? <v Speaker 1>God? I forget the names of all of them? Rise, <v Speaker 1>Rise a skywalk? Wait? What was what was the with <v Speaker 1>the Phantom Menace and everything? One? <v Speaker 2>Can we do spoilers? Is that acceptable? Foot Star Wars? <v Speaker 1>Yeah? Who cares dies? Oh my god? Why do you <v Speaker 1>that that spoiler? Of all of them? You couldn't have <v Speaker 1>said the one where he becomes Darth Vader. <v Speaker 2>Oh yeah, I guess that too. I don't know. I'm <v Speaker 2>Star Wars girl. <v Speaker 1>So episode three that came out in the. <v Speaker 2>Ninetieses, yes, okay, sounds good. <v Speaker 1>What's that one called? Chat Revenge of the Sith? Thank <v Speaker 1>you God? I was I couldn't. I was trying to <v Speaker 1>think of all of their names, and like every single <v Speaker 1>one just escaped to my brain. <v Speaker 2>Episode one and two trash. <v Speaker 1>So Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones do you <v Speaker 1>think those are both trash? <v Speaker 2>And then four five and six decent? <v Speaker 1>Four five and six okay, So the original seventy ones. <v Speaker 2>Okay, yeah, they're better. <v Speaker 1>Than about seven eight nights. <v Speaker 2>I like them more than one and two. Okay, But <v Speaker 2>when Layoff starts flying, I was like, I'm out, what <v Speaker 2>is this? <v Speaker 1>Okay, No, you're not You're not far off anything, you know. <v Speaker 1>I think you're spot on with all of it. I <v Speaker 1>do like Phantom Menace number one, just because of nostalgia, <v Speaker 1>but also Darth Maul I think is like the coolest <v Speaker 1>character in Star Wars, and I think had some really <v Speaker 1>cool fight scenes. Other than that, I don't disagree that <v Speaker 1>movie was trash. Two was terrible, and the one you <v Speaker 1>like is good. The third one is good. <v Speaker 2>I get rated for my Start Wars opinions, so I'm <v Speaker 2>used to it. Chat does not let me have it. <v Speaker 1>The fact that you called the original trilogy decent did <v Speaker 1>upset me to my core. <v Speaker 2>But I do say it was amazing. <v Speaker 1>Decent is better than bad. <v Speaker 2>Well, I had all the things splew from me. By <v Speaker 2>that point, nothing was like, oh my god, that doesn't matter. <v Speaker 1>It's fantastic films. It's like, you know, the ending of <v Speaker 1>that Bruce Willis movie, but it's still a good movie. <v Speaker 1>What's the movie? <v Speaker 2>They were so chill about siblings kissing and almost dating, <v Speaker 2>and you. <v Speaker 1>Know it was a different time, different We don't talk <v Speaker 1>about that. Why is that what you focus on? Three <v Speaker 1>movies nine hours? You focus on the siblings kissing. That <v Speaker 1>says more about you than it does George. <v Speaker 2>But I watched it as an and I was like, <v Speaker 2>what is this? And then no one brings it up again. <v Speaker 1>Well, they didn't know at the time. They didn't know. <v Speaker 1>I didn't know they were related. They just thought they <v Speaker 1>had a connection. <v Speaker 2>They did. <v Speaker 1>They did blood all right, we got Stalker Legends of Zone. <v Speaker 1>Who cares? We're so distracted at this point, worms, Armageddon <v Speaker 1>Anniversary Edition or god, they could have at least given <v Speaker 1>it a like a fresh coat of paint. No, maybe <v Speaker 1>I'm missing something on that Disney Dream Light Valley, this <v Speaker 1>old this old game, this old guy can place this <v Speaker 1>every day. <v Speaker 2>I'm so torn. <v Speaker 1>What what are they adding here? What is this? I <v Speaker 1>didn't know was in it either. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, he's been in it for a while. But there's more. <v Speaker 2>They're going back to Lion King again. I think they're <v Speaker 2>going to Tiana as well. At some point. <v Speaker 1>These are new because I don't I don't remember seeing <v Speaker 1>Isabelle Isabella. <v Speaker 2>That was last year at some point. <v Speaker 1>What's her name, Adams isabel right, Miss Mirabelle, Mirabelle Mirabelle. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>we don't talk about We don't talk about. <v Speaker 2>Neither. Neither does dream Like Valley. <v Speaker 1>No, well they can't legally, Okay. <v Speaker 2>The thing that taught me about Disney dream Like value <v Speaker 2>is they put in Wally and then they made either <v Speaker 2>PAIDLC that's want them together pay more. <v Speaker 1>The thing that upsets me and Liz the Last and <v Speaker 1>Cozy K and everybody and you know I got this <v Speaker 1>game is that it was supposed to be free yep. <v Speaker 1>And then they changed their mind. And then they made <v Speaker 1>it thirty dollars and added. <v Speaker 2>Micro transactions in yep, and didn't change a thing. Now. <v Speaker 2>In fact, I added probably more. <v Speaker 1>Every Cozy creator I have on we're going to complain <v Speaker 1>about that at least once it sucks. I agree. Also, <v Speaker 1>I don't think they I don't think I did. I <v Speaker 1>hope I didn't, but they offered me a sponsorship and <v Speaker 1>I ended up saying no, I think because I asked <v Speaker 1>them a question about micro transactions and it never really <v Speaker 1>gave me an answer that I liked, so I just <v Speaker 1>passed on it. Pretty sure I didn't do it. I'm <v Speaker 1>really glad I didn't do it. Now I didn't do it, <v Speaker 1>did I chat? I'm pretty sure I didn't because it <v Speaker 1>would suck if I promoted it and being like, hey, <v Speaker 1>this game is going to be free eventually and then <v Speaker 1>they change their mind. <v Speaker 2>That's why I feel terrible as a creator as well, <v Speaker 2>because I kept on telling people, So I'm worry it's <v Speaker 2>going to be free. Hold off, it's going to be free. <v Speaker 2>And I feel like I lied for a company. <v Speaker 1>Well you didn't. I mean you did, but you didn't <v Speaker 1>know you were lying. Yeah, which is the best kind <v Speaker 1>of lie. <v Speaker 2>It's like a rough spot as a creator because like <v Speaker 2>it's not I know, let people know. I wasn't actively lying, <v Speaker 2>but so yeah, I told people I was the one <v Speaker 2>passing it on. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, no, I agree. Sucks. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, it's sad because I don't know. I'm going to <v Speaker 2>see from Palia whether it's sustainable to actually be free though, <v Speaker 2>and giving their layoffs. I don't know. <v Speaker 1>I think the free model is very sustainable because you <v Speaker 1>see all of these companies doing it, and they make <v Speaker 1>so much money off my preasures actions. I can hear <v Speaker 1>Simon coming back yell and again. <v Speaker 2>I spend more on in game clothes though, than I'm <v Speaker 2>do in real life clothes. <v Speaker 1>I can't. That's sad. That took me a second of process. <v Speaker 1>Are you serious? Yeah, say we need to not do that. <v Speaker 1>We need to not do that. Can I say as well? <v Speaker 1>Micro transactions they've got me very few times. But I <v Speaker 1>play Marvel Snap legitimately. I'm not lying when I did <v Speaker 1>a sponsor recently, but I legitimately have been addicted for <v Speaker 1>a while and I'm constantly putting in five dollars here, <v Speaker 1>five dollars there for things. And they had this pack <v Speaker 1>for sixty dollars and all it was was like in <v Speaker 1>game currency and like a card, and I kept looking <v Speaker 1>at it like, man, I'd love to have that card. <v Speaker 1>And I kept like arming and ring about spending the <v Speaker 1>sixty and then it was just like yesterday, I think, <v Speaker 1>or the day before I saw the Wukong game, that <v Speaker 1>new Wukong game, and I'm like, that's sixty dollars, and <v Speaker 1>I was like, why am I arming and ring about <v Speaker 1>buying this card and some in game currency for the <v Speaker 1>same price of this full new game that I could have. <v Speaker 1>So I decided to treat myself and I bought the game, <v Speaker 1>and I was like, I am never gonna spend money <v Speaker 1>on Marble Snap again. I'm like, I'm done. I've already <v Speaker 1>put too much money in it. Micro transactions are getting <v Speaker 1>out of control, and You're right, I don't want to. <v Speaker 1>I don't want to spend more money on a game <v Speaker 1>than I do want close yep, I'm gonna use you <v Speaker 1>as my example as something that I shouldn't do. <v Speaker 2>So thank you for be me, learn from me, be <v Speaker 2>better than me. <v Speaker 1>Sorry I went on a tangent there. I'm very simp <v Speaker 1>Have I mentioned that? All right? SpongeBob Patrick's getting a <v Speaker 1>whole game. No SpongeBob non Patrick. Sorry, Patrick's getting a <v Speaker 1>whole game. Do we like this? <v Speaker 2>I don't know if I pay money for it. <v Speaker 1>I don't know it's heart to get excited for a <v Speaker 1>SpongeBob game because I feel like we keep getting duped <v Speaker 1>because of how good battlefle Bikini Bottom was once we <v Speaker 1>even bought remake that the remaster that wasn't even that <v Speaker 1>much better than the original. But so many SpongeBob games suck. <v Speaker 1>I like most of them suck. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I didn't play that one, so I've just had <v Speaker 2>the experience of every spongebold game is mat that's it. <v Speaker 1>Do you really spend more micro transactions than real clothes? Like? Really? <v Speaker 2>So? <v Speaker 1>Yeah? How much are you spending? How much you spending <v Speaker 1>on the micro transactions? I know you said that Palia. <v Speaker 2>Palia outfits sometimes you get me. <v Speaker 1>Oh that I thought you were talking Disney Palia. <v Speaker 2>Is that worse? I mean, at least that game is free? <v Speaker 1>Oh that's you know what, That's what we were talking about. <v Speaker 1>Why does that that doesn't change anything? It being free. <v Speaker 1>I was sorry to leave you alone on that point. <v Speaker 1>I saw, I saw a TikTok. I think I was <v Speaker 1>going to bring it up in this episode, but what, <v Speaker 1>don't leave me? <v Speaker 2>Remind me later, Okay, we're back, don't leave me scream. <v Speaker 1>I was going to bring it up just then, but <v Speaker 1>I can't be bothered finding it. There was a guy <v Speaker 1>that worked on old StarCraft or like or Blizzard something <v Speaker 1>in Blizzard, right, He made a TikTok recently about how <v Speaker 1>he and his team worked over time for two years <v Speaker 1>to create this StarCraft deep like paid dooc this like <v Speaker 1>big paid dooc or something, and it's something that everybody <v Speaker 1>really loves and has good memories of from back in <v Speaker 1>the day. It made less money than a horse skin <v Speaker 1>did in like the original like Wow or Blizzard or <v Speaker 1>some some other Blizzard game. So internally the company looked <v Speaker 1>at that with two years of investment in a whole <v Speaker 1>team making a whole expansion as opposed to one skin <v Speaker 1>for a horse making way more money, that is why. <v Speaker 1>And you buying more people in game close than real close. <v Speaker 1>That's why micro transactions run rampant today and why every <v Speaker 1>business model for every company making video games is to <v Speaker 1>make free games with micro transactions because you can make <v Speaker 1>whole year cycle of paid overtime games in one cosmetic, <v Speaker 1>which is insane. It's insane. And I look at things <v Speaker 1>like Marvel Snap and I look at that one card <v Speaker 1>that I wanted for sixty dollars, and I'm like, I almost. <v Speaker 2>Convinced myself, you still thinks. <v Speaker 1>Convinced myself it was worth it, because I was like, <v Speaker 1>think of the people I could beat if I bought <v Speaker 1>this card, I. <v Speaker 2>Almost use the games. <v Speaker 1>No, I might have a really good deck actually already. <v Speaker 1>That's why I didn't need it. <v Speaker 2>Cometics make even less sense because they do nothing. <v Speaker 1>They do nothing, And you can buy cosmetic cards in <v Speaker 1>that game too. You can buy variant cards that are <v Speaker 1>just different arts of the same cloud you already have, <v Speaker 1>and it will be like ten bucks. <v Speaker 2>I am self aware that I'm the problem, but I <v Speaker 2>cannot be stopped. <v Speaker 1>I've done it. I've done it. I wouldn't do I <v Speaker 1>wouldn't buy more clothes in a game than in real life. <v Speaker 1>You know, I'd make sure that I'm dressed and fed. <v Speaker 2>But maybe it's a sign not anymore in real life clothes. <v Speaker 1>Maybe it's a sign you need help. I was playing <v Speaker 1>with you, Ah Boxing, street Fighter, street Fighter, Memories of Alchemist. <v Speaker 1>Oh this is an ulterior game. Let me take a <v Speaker 1>look at Let me take a look at this. I <v Speaker 1>never got around to playing Ryser like I wanted. Altario <v Speaker 1>Riser three was a very breath of the wild looking <v Speaker 1>RPG style game that looked really interesting and I really <v Speaker 1>wanted to play it and just never found the time. <v Speaker 1>This is more of that. It looks like honestly, Ulterior <v Speaker 1>Yumia looks like you have a lot of Yeah, similar <v Speaker 1>Breath of the Wild style world and adventure, but in <v Speaker 1>ANPG where you can even decorate your own house. <v Speaker 2>This is another one of those that I can't believe <v Speaker 2>will look like this on the switch. <v Speaker 1>Uh. I can believe it purely because i'llterior as are <v Speaker 1>three and that I've did looking like this, And it's <v Speaker 1>not too dissimilar to Zeno Blade three and how Zeno <v Speaker 1>Bad three looked. Now, these games are pretty well optimized. <v Speaker 2>Uh, I'm not a new person. <v Speaker 1>I think that's interesting. Honestly, I don't think the Ulterior <v Speaker 1>Riser games need to be played subsequentially. One of the <v Speaker 1>word is. I think they're kind of final fantasy. But <v Speaker 1>this being a whole new character makes me even more <v Speaker 1>inclined to be like I could start here, because I <v Speaker 1>still haven't started anyway. Uh, we know about this just <v Speaker 1>looking at the title Sweaker in one and two HD remaster, <v Speaker 1>so we're just getting a look at that. Gotta be honest, <v Speaker 1>I love this style. <v Speaker 2>I love the HD two D I like. <v Speaker 1>It too, But I was about to say, got to <v Speaker 1>be honest, I've seen it done better. This is a <v Speaker 1>little flat looking for me. It's almost a little underwhelming <v Speaker 1>for me. <v Speaker 2>Compare it to Dragon Is a Drunk Crust, yeah, which. <v Speaker 1>Is literally coming next. And look at that that is yeah, <v Speaker 1>pretty gorgeous in comison. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, but I've never played Dragon Quaest, so this is <v Speaker 2>gonna be my first one. <v Speaker 1>I've played eleven and that's it. And this is the <v Speaker 1>first three games redone in a beautiful art style. I'm <v Speaker 1>very excited. Also, somebody told me on Twitter when I <v Speaker 1>asked for a breakdown that they're adding a new job <v Speaker 1>class into this game. Do you know what that is? <v Speaker 2>The monster one? <v Speaker 1>Oh, I don't know. I don't know what it did. <v Speaker 1>Class called Monster Wrangler. <v Speaker 2>That's the one. <v Speaker 1>I just saw it there in the dropdown menu for <v Speaker 1>those that don't know. In RPGs like this, you can <v Speaker 1>obviously pick a different class. I'll give you different abilities <v Speaker 1>and probably different outfits, and you can level up in <v Speaker 1>a class I think, and then you can switch classes <v Speaker 1>and level up in that class, and sometimes you can <v Speaker 1>like mix abilities that way. And they added a whole <v Speaker 1>new class for this game that is like thirty years old, <v Speaker 1>So I actually really like that. I prefer that when <v Speaker 1>companies do these remasters that are just a straight remaster. <v Speaker 1>I like when they add an extra content. It's what <v Speaker 1>Nintendo did with Funky Kong, which isn't a good example, <v Speaker 1>but with like Windwaker and stuff on on we you <v Speaker 1>they like changed things and added some things. <v Speaker 2>I just like when remakes don't feel like you're playing <v Speaker 2>an old game, like when the modernize it to the <v Speaker 2>point where you couldn't. <v Speaker 1>Tell Yeah, I agree, all right. And then we have <v Speaker 1>some Castlevania stuff, some sid Civilization stuff, Tales of Grace <v Speaker 1>f remastered. I don't really know what that is. My <v Speaker 1>SIMS Cozy Bundle, this is pretty it is. This is <v Speaker 1>a rough. <v Speaker 2>Direct retro re released. So they have very tactically avoided <v Speaker 2>the words a remake because I don't think they've done <v Speaker 2>anything to it. <v Speaker 1>This my SIMS thing. Yeah, I never played my Sims. <v Speaker 1>Is that a wee thing? Seems like the last thing <v Speaker 1>this is Liz the last is she in? <v Speaker 2>Chack? <v Speaker 1>Can we patch her in? Can she join this? <v Speaker 2>Tested this by playing every single one of these games, <v Speaker 2>you know, so I never played the but everyone seems <v Speaker 2>to lose their minds over it. There seems to be <v Speaker 2>for at least Cozy Game is a huge thing. But <v Speaker 2>as you can tell, it's not right for a remaster. <v Speaker 2>It's more or less the graphics to straight up taken <v Speaker 2>and put on. Also, I was told you can buy <v Speaker 2>this on PC for twenty dollars, and this is forty <v Speaker 2>dollars right now, I feel like this is currently. <v Speaker 1>Witch tax for you. I wouldn't be surprised. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, but apparently it doesn't run great on PCs, so <v Speaker 2>people are hoping that they've fixed it for switch. <v Speaker 1>So I mean it looks cute. I don't know if <v Speaker 1>I'm interested, but it looks cute. Cozy got your name <v Speaker 1>in it. <v Speaker 2>Mesh between Sim's gameplay and Animal Crossing is how a <v Speaker 2>lot of people describe it. Liz. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, they didn't make any graphical up this. As far <v Speaker 1>as I can see, it looks pretty close to how <v Speaker 1>it looked on PC back its original we title. I <v Speaker 1>called that, Thank you, Liss. Also, someone corrected me, Squeak <v Speaker 1>It In is not a two DHD remake like Dragon <v Speaker 1>Quest three. It's the remasters of the original PlayStation one classic, <v Speaker 1>which makes sense why it doesn't look as polished. And <v Speaker 1>thank you for correcting me on that. If I get <v Speaker 1>anything wrong, I apologize. I'm watching it for the first <v Speaker 1>time without audio, so I can't hear a lot of <v Speaker 1>what they're probably explaining. But I appreciate everybody in chat <v Speaker 1>helping me, and then the comments for yelling at me <v Speaker 1>later Ah, final Fantasy, FANAF Sorry, Final Fantasy. I meant <v Speaker 1>to say FANAF two f's five nights at freddy. <v Speaker 2>What are what a way to go? <v Speaker 1>Yeah, I don't like five nights at Freddy's again. Someone <v Speaker 1>on Twitter said this one's actually good. I honestly don't care. <v Speaker 1>I'm sorry, it's not. I'm I am. Can I tell <v Speaker 1>you a secret. It's actually the reason why I don't <v Speaker 1>like five five nights at Freddy's, like an in a nutshell. <v Speaker 1>And I hope it's not too controversial to say, but <v Speaker 1>here I go. I'm thirty three years old. I'm gonna <v Speaker 1>get I'm gonna get it for that one. I'm gonna <v Speaker 1>hear it later. Uh, Disney Epic Mickey, I am even <v Speaker 1>though I'm thirty three, I am looking forward to that. <v Speaker 2>That's actually like to say, games Come. At least the <v Speaker 2>version I played on PC is looking better than I <v Speaker 2>actually thought it was going to be because was it cool? <v Speaker 1>Yeah? No, that was a really it was a classic <v Speaker 1>wee game. I'm looking forward to playing it again. And <v Speaker 1>then this is another cozy sim game that's the. <v Speaker 2>Worst game of the year. There is no in between. <v Speaker 2>It will either be grateful everyone we disappointed, and I <v Speaker 2>can't wait to see which one. <v Speaker 1>Lissa and I also talked about this when she was <v Speaker 1>in Still Hate how they look very ugly, but definitely <v Speaker 1>interested in giving it a shot. It wouldn't be a <v Speaker 1>direct without just dance. You know what's funny, I said <v Speaker 1>at the start of this, I feel like it's a <v Speaker 1>good idea to merge these two directs. And the reason <v Speaker 1>why I said that was because I felt like it <v Speaker 1>gave the indies a chance to like get some more <v Speaker 1>eyes on them. I honestly feel like they merged these <v Speaker 1>directs so that the Partners showcase didn't look so bad <v Speaker 1>and good. No, it's kind of very not good. It's <v Speaker 1>not as fun as the of the Indie one. A <v Speaker 1>football thing, a football thing. We already knew about this. <v Speaker 2>Or yeah, this is a lot of things we already <v Speaker 2>knew about and they still say holiday same for the <v Speaker 2>They didn't give us any new information. <v Speaker 1>I almost wonder because like, it's not even any new <v Speaker 1>gameplay by the looks of it, so I almost wonder <v Speaker 1>if they put it in here for patting and just <v Speaker 1>because it's like a cool, big like IP and it <v Speaker 1>just kind of makes the Partners Direct feel better even <v Speaker 1>though we've already seen it. Yeah, doesn't mean a big <v Speaker 1>chunky A big chunky. If for Rune Factory Guardians of Assumer, <v Speaker 1>is this a new game or is this a remake <v Speaker 1>of a remaster? <v Speaker 2>You new game? This is it completely. They call it <v Speaker 2>a reimagining. They are taking a modernizing Rune Factory as <v Speaker 2>you can see them. I don't think Rune Factory had <v Speaker 2>full cut scenes in this manner. They've gone almost zena <v Speaker 2>Blade esque with cuts snails, which is looking pretty high. <v Speaker 2>But this is another Spring twenty twenty five release though, <v Speaker 2>oh really, which has got everyone questioning. But yeah, this <v Speaker 2>just you can you can dance instead of well as <v Speaker 2>a new attack style, which is cool. You can rebuild <v Speaker 2>towns by placing buildings, so it's just more of everything. <v Speaker 2>But the story looks really detailed. That's part I'm most <v Speaker 2>excited for. I'm interested to know if it's going to <v Speaker 2>be Harvestellar style where you don't really feel like the <v Speaker 2>farming did much, and everyone kind of feels like it <v Speaker 2>was tacked on in the end. But yeah, it's going <v Speaker 2>to be It's going to be interesting. I think they <v Speaker 2>needed to modernize the franch whip tries. I personally feel <v Speaker 2>as someone who wasn't doesn't have nostalgia to rum Factory <v Speaker 2>and try to get into it. I have struggled a <v Speaker 2>lot with the most recent five was a bit rough <v Speaker 2>to try and get into, so I'm looking forward to <v Speaker 2>this one. <v Speaker 1>Can I have a hot take? Okay, I think it's <v Speaker 1>as cool in a bigger deal than what people are <v Speaker 1>making it out to be. <v Speaker 2>I think so do This is probably the best thing <v Speaker 2>out of the Partner showcase. We kind of knew about <v Speaker 2>it from one of their directs like marvelous your own thing, <v Speaker 2>so we've been aware of it. <v Speaker 1>I think it looks good. I think this and I <v Speaker 1>know what the last thing is because I obviously I <v Speaker 1>got it spoiled on Twitter. But this and that I <v Speaker 1>think are pretty both pretty. If anything, this is technically <v Speaker 1>better because it's a new game, where the other one <v Speaker 1>is just like a cool game coming to the switch. <v Speaker 1>This is a whole new thing, and I agree. I <v Speaker 1>think we're in Factory needed to do a little bit <v Speaker 1>of a shake up, and I'm interested. I saw a <v Speaker 1>lot of people that were saying, like, oh, another RPG <v Speaker 1>farming game. I didn't know what one they were talking about, <v Speaker 1>but if it was this, I mean it's a good <v Speaker 1>one at least. <v Speaker 2>I just don't feel like there's not a lot of <v Speaker 2>RPG farming sims which has done both elements. Well. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, I know. I tried to play that Harvest Stellar <v Speaker 1>and it wasn't really meshing. <v Speaker 2>Games you have to get like fifteen hours in for <v Speaker 2>the story and the game play to actually get good. <v Speaker 2>And let's be realistic, what grown adult has fifteen hours <v Speaker 2>before a game gets good. <v Speaker 1>I barely have one because I. <v Speaker 2>Liked it in the end. But I fully admit that <v Speaker 2>you shouldn't tell someone that they need to get fifteen <v Speaker 2>hours into a game for it to be you know. <v Speaker 1>Ah, yeah, I was told thirty was in Able two. <v Speaker 2>They're not wrong. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, uh dragon Heart in chat with two dollars being <v Speaker 1>too harsh on the second half. Good stuff shown? Uh No, <v Speaker 1>I'm I'm not saying that there's not good stuff shown. <v Speaker 1>I'm just saying we're saying that Indie Direct was way better. <v Speaker 1>The indie direct was just more fun and more exciting. <v Speaker 2>At least more for me. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, more for me too. Uh. Dragon Heart also said <v Speaker 1>earlier Fan Fantasy sixteen not that bad, not perfect, but <v Speaker 1>still very good. So they're just that was also a <v Speaker 1>too all a super chat, So they're just donating to <v Speaker 1>tell us a disagree, which I appreciate. And I enjoyed <v Speaker 1>fun Fantasy sixteen. I finished, it just could have been <v Speaker 1>about ten hours shorter. All right, let's skip to the <v Speaker 1>last thing. <v Speaker 2>I've never played Yakuza. <v Speaker 1>I'm blowing my know is talk about it? Please? I <v Speaker 1>don't know. <v Speaker 2>I've never played Your Chooser. All I know about Yukuza <v Speaker 2>is there was like that meme cozy thing they put out. <v Speaker 2>They put out a trailer that memed on being a <v Speaker 2>cozy game about like a DLC that was in one <v Speaker 2>of the key yakuzas, And that is all I know <v Speaker 2>about your Kuzas. I know a lot of people seems <v Speaker 2>surprised that this would run on the switch but I <v Speaker 2>don't know. This seems like switchable's switchable. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, when when did this one come out? Specifically? Could <v Speaker 1>you google it for me? <v Speaker 2>It was in PS three. <v Speaker 1>Why wouldn't it be able to run if it's PlayStation three. <v Speaker 1>The switch can usually handle PlayStation three games. So let <v Speaker 1>me tell you about your kuza. Now, I don't know <v Speaker 1>about Kawami because I don't think I've played this one, <v Speaker 1>but I'm pretty sure this is one of the traditional ones. Uh. <v Speaker 1>These games are really fun. Have you ever played Persona? <v Speaker 2>Yes? Persona five and three are some of my favorite games, So. <v Speaker 1>It kind of reminds me of Persona in a way. <v Speaker 1>But obviously you play as a character in the yukuza. <v Speaker 1>The stories are always really good and really gripping. But <v Speaker 1>the way it reminds me of a Persona is essentially <v Speaker 1>are just set loose in a sandbox of Tokyo or Japan, <v Speaker 1>and around the missions and everything you're able to go <v Speaker 1>into like pachinko gaming stores and like play games and <v Speaker 1>arcade games, and like spend time playing baseball or bowling <v Speaker 1>or you know, they have all of these side things <v Speaker 1>you can interact with around Tokyo, and it really and <v Speaker 1>if you do that stuff, it feels like a bit <v Speaker 1>of slice of life. Like whenever I go to Japan <v Speaker 1>and I'm legitimately walking around the street to Tokyo, I <v Speaker 1>can't help but feel like, man, I can't wait to <v Speaker 1>get home and play Yukuza, like like it's something about it. <v Speaker 1>It's so good. It's so just relaxing almost. But then <v Speaker 1>around that you have like beat them up style hack <v Speaker 1>and slash but with fists gameplay where you beat up <v Speaker 1>other members of the Yukuza. You can use like all <v Speaker 1>the items around you, like chairs and like whatever you <v Speaker 1>find to beat people up, and it's just that they're <v Speaker 1>really great games. Recently, there's been a weird split where <v Speaker 1>there's a new series of Yukuza games where they're like <v Speaker 1>a turn based RPG that's really interesting. It started with <v Speaker 1>like a dragon and the joke was Yukuza like a <v Speaker 1>dragon Quest. It's like a dragon Quest game. The main <v Speaker 1>character it's very self residential, referential humor, and the main <v Speaker 1>character was obsessed with Dragon Quest. <v Speaker 2>So oh, I love that. <v Speaker 1>Every time they get into battles, it goes into like <v Speaker 1>how he sees the battles and he sees himself as <v Speaker 1>a dragon Quest character. So yeah, really cool this one <v Speaker 1>that that one's a traditional Yakuza where it's like a <v Speaker 1>beat him up but still very good and in October <v Speaker 1>and in October, yeah, I'm excited. To play through that <v Speaker 1>on the switch. People might laugh at me a little <v Speaker 1>for calling Yakuza or a Slice of life game, but for <v Speaker 1>some reason, that's how I enjoy it. Uh. And I <v Speaker 1>really really like Yukuza games a lot. <v Speaker 2>Uh. <v Speaker 1>And then that was the Partner Direct overall. <v Speaker 2>Was a forty minute. I do not feel bad about it. <v Speaker 1>I mean, the Indie Direct gave us a lot. The <v Speaker 1>Partner Direct gave us a little, but the little that <v Speaker 1>it gave us was pretty pretty good. I mean Yukuza <v Speaker 1>Run Factory. <v Speaker 2>It's also weird how like the Indie Direct, everything seemed <v Speaker 2>to be happening like now or October, and then everything <v Speaker 2>in the Partner showcases October or twenty twenty five. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, no, I agree. So I think my highlights here <v Speaker 1>were start, start over drive, your Cuza Ruin Factory, ulterior <v Speaker 1>eumia maybe. <v Speaker 2>No, not riser tilia yumia umia uma. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, that might be it for me, and I gotta <v Speaker 1>be honest, I could have had those given to me <v Speaker 1>as a tweet. <v Speaker 2>But yeah, the indies, some of them you had to <v Speaker 2>watch to understand because there are so new and so well. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, no, I agree, I think the Indie just gave <v Speaker 1>way more of and a lot of fun available in <v Speaker 1>our type things. I I always feel like I have <v Speaker 1>to hedge what I say because people get so people <v Speaker 1>get so into directs and defending directs, Like I feel like, <v Speaker 1>if if you like it, that's completely fine, but people <v Speaker 1>get so passionately defensive if anybody says it wasn't good. <v Speaker 1>And I don't know what that is in people, and <v Speaker 1>I get it too. I mean, the other day before <v Speaker 1>we all went to London, I was watching Bob stream. <v Speaker 1>This is the third time I've mentioned him, and I <v Speaker 1>told him he needed to get a crumpet and he <v Speaker 1>googled crumpet and he was like, oh, that's just an <v Speaker 1>English muffin, and I was like, no, it's not, but <v Speaker 1>he kept he kept doubling down that it was just <v Speaker 1>going to taste like an English muffin. And for some reason, <v Speaker 1>I was getting so irrationally pissed off that this hype, <v Speaker 1>this hypothetical crumpet muffin that he hasn't had, is upsetting him. <v Speaker 1>So I understand, I know, thank you. I understand wanting <v Speaker 1>to defend something that you love or that you liked, <v Speaker 1>but it doesn't change what it is or how you <v Speaker 1>interacted with it, Like I feel like I have to <v Speaker 1>have this conversation every time I give my opinion on something. <v Speaker 1>But I actually think we liked the indie more than <v Speaker 1>what people are saying. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I think. I also think we have quite broad <v Speaker 2>gaming taste though, like there's not a genre I wouldn't touch. <v Speaker 2>I say, I want to go for most of them. <v Speaker 2>So I feel like if you have genres which you're like, oh, no, <v Speaker 2>I don't, I wouldn't touch that, then maybe you. <v Speaker 1>I feel like that was most of the second half <v Speaker 1>of me. It was a lot of games that have <v Speaker 1>already come out that I already know I'm not playing, <v Speaker 1>like Disney Dream My Valley or what have you, Yeah, <v Speaker 1>five Nights at Freddy's, et cetera, or things that like <v Speaker 1>I'm just not interested in. And I feel like this <v Speaker 1>is like the tenth time we've seen SIB six in <v Speaker 1>an event, the third time we've seen Lego. It was <v Speaker 1>more of like an information blast than it was a <v Speaker 1>fun exciting event. Let me really a couple of these <v Speaker 1>super chats and then we can wrap up because I <v Speaker 1>want you to be out of could get your food <v Speaker 1>whatever it is you had delivered. <v Speaker 2>It's been fun though to do first. And this is <v Speaker 2>only my second podcast ever. <v Speaker 1>So really you've done great, very scary, but now you've <v Speaker 1>done so good? Chat how good? How good has she done? <v Speaker 1>Let me read these DJ French fry with ten first time. <v Speaker 1>Don't donat her. I wanted to thank the team for <v Speaker 1>bringing iwan Or on the team. Was me last minute? <v Speaker 1>I put her on the Google form. I'll just think these people. Oh sorry, sorry, no, <v Speaker 1>you're okay. Dragon Hot with a fiver. You asked for <v Speaker 1>the last Brilliant five Fantasy game, not encounting the fourteen. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>I wasn't counting the MMO, but that would I think <v Speaker 1>be the last one. Phenomenal five Fantasy seven remakes twelve. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>I was thinking twelve. I haven't played twelve, but I've <v Speaker 1>heard so many good things about it. I just didn't <v Speaker 1>want to say it not having played it. But yeah, <v Speaker 1>I did hear twelve was pretty good, and that's also <v Speaker 1>on Switch. But I don't think I don't think we <v Speaker 1>should get Iwana playing twelve as her next one. I <v Speaker 1>think she needs to start with ten. I think ten's <v Speaker 1>a good place to start. <v Speaker 2>They're just bringing it up. <v Speaker 1>Oh so they're not there yet, No, they just bring <v Speaker 1>the They have to go up many stairs. We actually ordered brocoli and <v Speaker 1>cheddar soup and a big loaf of bread so that <v Speaker 1>we can make bread bowls. And I also got chicken <v Speaker 1>noodle soup. And after this I'm just lying down. Also <v Speaker 1>in the bonus episode, I want to talk about Black <v Speaker 1>Myth Wukong, which I'll quickly say right now. I've been <v Speaker 1>playing I was playing it all yesterday and I really <v Speaker 1>like it. I actually like it more than I thought <v Speaker 1>I would. I finished the first chapter. I'm on chapter two, <v Speaker 1>and that's really good.
