Hunter Claims He Shot a Sasquatch in Southern Alabama | I Regret Shooting the Bigfoot

<v Speaker 1>Alabama near the Florida border. In December of nineteen ninety four,
<v Speaker 1>a sixteen year old hunter named Jason climbed into a
<v Speaker 1>tree stand on Least hunting Land, where strange tracks, heavy breathing,
<v Speaker 1>and guttural growls had already been happening for weeks. What
<v Speaker 1>started as another quiet evening in the woods turn into
<v Speaker 1>a moment that would change his life forever. Jason says
<v Speaker 1>he came face to face with a massive ten foot
<v Speaker 1>creature only forty yards away, locked eyes with it, and
<v Speaker 1>in a moment of fear, fired six shots. Please don't
<v Speaker 1>shame and bash Jason for shooting at the creature and
<v Speaker 1>the comments, especially if you've never had a bigfoot encounter
<v Speaker 1>before in your life. I have heard peaceful stories from

<v Speaker 1>into our next Bigfoot encounter from the State of Alabama. Jason,
<v Speaker 1>Welcome to Sasquatch Theory. How are you doing today.
<v Speaker 2>I'm doing wonderful migil. Thank you for having me.
<v Speaker 1>Absolutely, it's a pleasure to have you on the show,
<v Speaker 1>and I'm glad you contacted me. Jason, if you would
<v Speaker 1>tell me a little bit about yourself, where you're from,
<v Speaker 1>and your bigfoot encounters from the very beginning, please.
<v Speaker 2>I am my name is Jason right now live in
<v Speaker 2>a Florida Panhandle, but I'm from South Alabama, right a
<v Speaker 2>little town right on Florida border called Samson. I'm just
<v Speaker 2>you know, just a blue collar guy, just regular working guy,
<v Speaker 2>kids and grandkids. But my encounter, my first encounter was well,
<v Speaker 2>really I think it was my This is the one
<v Speaker 2>that scared me the most. Was in ninety four. Is
<v Speaker 2>in December ninety four where I had shot one. So
<v Speaker 2>just it was a few weeks before my seventeenth birthday.
<v Speaker 2>I was deer hunting, you know, in the woods near
<v Speaker 2>the river, close to the state line. And uh, because
<v Speaker 2>it's way back in the woods, you know, being close
<v Speaker 2>to the rivers, this bunch of creeks and slews and
<v Speaker 2>stuff like that we have to cross to get to it.
<v Speaker 2>So it's it's quiet and really isolated. Is where you
<v Speaker 2>didn't see a lot of people back there. Ever, it
<v Speaker 2>was just it wasn't our land. It was land that
<v Speaker 2>we had leased or got from mission to hunt on.
<v Speaker 2>So so like in the weeks before my birthday, we
<v Speaker 2>started seeing tracks. I saw a few tracks. You know,
<v Speaker 2>I was a big kid, I were. I wore a
<v Speaker 2>size thirteen boot because my foot was wide and you know,
<v Speaker 2>having fat feet, I needed bigger shoes, so I wore
<v Speaker 2>thirteen boot. And the tracks that we found were bigger
<v Speaker 2>than the thirteen boot I was wearing noticeably larger. So
<v Speaker 2>and it wasn't it wasn't just Prince, it was actual.
<v Speaker 2>We could I could tell the prints. There were separate
<v Speaker 2>toad prints. It was a definite impression. It looked like
<v Speaker 2>a bare human footprint, only extremely large. So I didn't
<v Speaker 2>think too much of it. I just kind of brushed
<v Speaker 2>it off. I told my dad, my stepdad. They just
<v Speaker 2>you know, they wrote it off to somebody messing around
<v Speaker 2>that there were they shouldn't be. So after the Prince,
<v Speaker 2>when we started hearing sounds, there was heavy brass fucking blowing,
<v Speaker 2>you know, like it was trying to get your attention.
<v Speaker 2>Something was trying to It sounded like a deer when
<v Speaker 2>they blow at you. But it was. It was loud
<v Speaker 2>and guttural. It had a lot a lot more base
<v Speaker 2>to it, if that makes sense. And you know it's
<v Speaker 2>with with the hogs and animals that we had back there,
<v Speaker 2>you know, it's not we didn't hear a lot of
<v Speaker 2>the growls that I had started hearing like they were
<v Speaker 2>they were low growls. They were not anything that's usually there,
<v Speaker 2>you know. And I had never seen any bear up there,
<v Speaker 2>so I didn't I really didn't know what a bear
<v Speaker 2>would sound like, if it would growl at you. So
<v Speaker 2>that made us nervous. It made me nervous and kind
<v Speaker 2>of scared going up and there. But my uncle, my stepdad,
<v Speaker 2>they were you know, practical men. They just kind of
<v Speaker 2>they just let it go. They brushed it off as
<v Speaker 2>always some scientific excuse for it. It was nothing, nothing
<v Speaker 2>that was ever paranormal or creature or cryptid or anything,
<v Speaker 2>if you could put it that way. You know. So
<v Speaker 2>heard the sounds, found the tracks, everything was going good.
<v Speaker 2>Brushed it off, forgot about it, and then a little
<v Speaker 2>while later started finding deer. I went, I found two,
<v Speaker 2>but it was a single kill at a time, and
<v Speaker 2>the deer were We're torn. They didn't want they were
<v Speaker 2>cut open. They didn't like they cut apart, ripped apart.
<v Speaker 2>It just it the skin was in, flesh was torn.
<v Speaker 2>The legs they had broken legs that were twisted were
<v Speaker 2>like something tried to twist it off, you know, try
<v Speaker 2>to They didn't have a knife, so they just kept
<v Speaker 2>trying to roll it around and round around to tear
<v Speaker 2>it off, to see if it would break off. So
<v Speaker 2>a couple of weeks, all this stuff's been happening, So
<v Speaker 2>I know, I knew what a regular kill usually looks
<v Speaker 2>like because I've seen, you know, coyotes tearing animals. I've
<v Speaker 2>seen other stuff tearing, but this the deer kills didn't
<v Speaker 2>look like that at all. The ones we found, they
<v Speaker 2>were the way they were tore up and bloodied, and
<v Speaker 2>organs were missing the liver like we the guts were
<v Speaker 2>ripped out, and all the organs were missing, including the guts.
<v Speaker 2>Like there was some some of the like a leg
<v Speaker 2>or two would be gone, but mostly it was just
<v Speaker 2>the insides that were gone. The day I had my encounter,
<v Speaker 2>it was it was cold and clouding, kind of overcast afternoon,
<v Speaker 2>you know late in the evening December where it's getting
<v Speaker 2>the sun's going down a little bit and getting dark.
<v Speaker 2>So I was in my tree stand and I fell asleep,
<v Speaker 2>you know, sixteen year old kid. I fell asleep in
<v Speaker 2>the tree stand all the time. It was a good nap.
<v Speaker 2>So I was sitting there asleep, and I was woke
<v Speaker 2>you up. It was loud, loud snap, like a red
<v Speaker 2>break or a branch break, but it's loud noise. It
<v Speaker 2>woke me up. Whenever I woke up, I jolted awake.
<v Speaker 2>I looked, and like forty or fifty yards in front
<v Speaker 2>of me, there was this creature something like between seven
<v Speaker 2>ten feet tall, completely covered in dark hair, massive, broad shoulders,
<v Speaker 2>wide chest. It got narrow as you looked down it.
<v Speaker 2>It didn't it didn't go off into like a V shape,
<v Speaker 2>like a swimmer shape. It just went, you know, and
<v Speaker 2>it got more narrow as it went down. And it
<v Speaker 2>wasn't It wasn't just that it was big that scared
<v Speaker 2>the crap on me. Not just that it was big,
<v Speaker 2>but it was looking at me, like staring, like right
<v Speaker 2>at me, and that's where we made eye contact. But
<v Speaker 2>it when it looked at me, I just got this dread,
<v Speaker 2>this feeling of dread and fear that came over me.
<v Speaker 2>So I threw up my rifle and just started firing.
<v Speaker 2>I fired off six shots, and whenever I couldn't fire anymore, whenever,
<v Speaker 2>you know, it was empty, all all the rounds were gone,
<v Speaker 2>I just I just closed my eyes. He picked his
<v Speaker 2>head up and he let out the most hellish howl
<v Speaker 2>I've ever heard. And that's the only way I can
<v Speaker 2>describe it as a hellish howl, because it sounded like
<v Speaker 2>like a banshee whale with a little high pitch, but
<v Speaker 2>then it had like a deep, almost like a dinosaur
<v Speaker 2>from Jurassic Parks sound to it. It was. It was scary,
<v Speaker 2>and whenever he screamed, you know, all I could do
<v Speaker 2>was close my eyes, close my eyes. I covered my
<v Speaker 2>ears and tried not to see it. And it's just
<v Speaker 2>like I thought, for sure, this is I'm gonna die.
<v Speaker 2>He's gonna come attack me now, because I thought for sure,
<v Speaker 2>I didn't hit it. But whenever the screaming stopped, he
<v Speaker 2>ran off. He left, crashing through woods towards the river.
<v Speaker 2>So usually whenever we would kill a deer, my stepdad
<v Speaker 2>and my uncle or me, you know, if it was
<v Speaker 2>one of them that fired, we'd wait about ten minutes
<v Speaker 2>or so we would get down and we would follow,
<v Speaker 2>you know, we'd go meet up to try and track
<v Speaker 2>the deer or whatever to try to get it out. Well,
<v Speaker 2>about ten fifteen minutes later, they come walking up to me,
<v Speaker 2>and I was frantic, and they asked, you know, they
<v Speaker 2>want to know what A shot. And I told him,
<v Speaker 2>told them what happened, and they just laughed. They thought
<v Speaker 2>I was crazy. They dismissed it. They told me I
<v Speaker 2>was full of shit. It was. It was disheartening the
<v Speaker 2>amount of disbelief they had, and they refused to believe
<v Speaker 2>it until we found the tracks and the blood, so
<v Speaker 2>they knew I had shot something. And that's how I
<v Speaker 2>knew I hit him. I hit it at least one time.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know how many times I hit it. I
<v Speaker 2>don't know if it was repeated or where I hit it.
<v Speaker 2>I just know there was blood, so I hit it
<v Speaker 2>at least once. We stayed on the track, we followed him.
<v Speaker 2>We got all the way to the river, and the
<v Speaker 2>tracks went into the water and that's when they disappeared.
<v Speaker 2>There was no tracks. Did see any tracks on the
<v Speaker 2>other side, didn't see him up or down the river.
<v Speaker 2>We didn't see anything else, just the tracks run into
<v Speaker 2>the water and they disappeared, and that was it.
<v Speaker 1>Wow, that's a terrifying experience. Do you think the creature
<v Speaker 1>swam down river to possibly get you guys off of
<v Speaker 1>its tracks? I, looking back now, I think it did.
<v Speaker 2>I think he was though he was just trying to
<v Speaker 2>get away. But I I don't know how he got away,
<v Speaker 2>you know, I would think. I don't know. First of all,
<v Speaker 2>I don't know how long he got to river, how
<v Speaker 2>long it was before, you know, before we got there,
<v Speaker 2>after he got there, But it was there's a long
<v Speaker 2>view going downriver and upriver, and we didn't see him
<v Speaker 2>in the water, and there were no other tracks visible
<v Speaker 2>on the other side or our side, just the ones
<v Speaker 2>where he entered the water. So it's it's very possible
<v Speaker 2>he just went down river.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, absolutely. And were you following small drops of blood
<v Speaker 1>or did it look like a pretty big blood trail?
<v Speaker 2>It was It was drops, just little globs here and there.
<v Speaker 2>It wasn't it wasn't huddles, you know, it wasn't a lot.
<v Speaker 2>It was just you know, we see found a spot,
<v Speaker 2>kept following the tracks, or there would be other spots.
<v Speaker 2>The tracks were easier to find than the drops of blood.
<v Speaker 2>But the blood wasn't maybe coagulating, it was getting thick,
<v Speaker 2>you know.
<v Speaker 1>And where did you aim at when you shot at
<v Speaker 1>the creature?
<v Speaker 2>When I first threw my rifle up, I didn't look
<v Speaker 2>through my scope. I looked through the iron sights, and
<v Speaker 2>I aim center mass. It was just brown, you know.
<v Speaker 2>I put the end of the gun on brown, and
<v Speaker 2>that's when I started firing. So, thinking back in my
<v Speaker 2>panicked mind, I believe I may have hit him with
<v Speaker 2>the first shot, and the others just went crazy because
<v Speaker 2>I was just I was just racking and firing, you know,
<v Speaker 2>I wasn't really aiming, it was just point shooting.
<v Speaker 1>What caliber were you using?
<v Speaker 2>A Marlin thirty third I had. I had just gotten
<v Speaker 2>it for that hunting season as a Christmas present.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah. And did you shoot at the creature out of
<v Speaker 1>pure terror or were you like planning on putting this
<v Speaker 1>thing down and bringing evidence to the public. What were
<v Speaker 1>your thoughts in that moment?
<v Speaker 2>Self preservation? So that's all self preservation. I was in
<v Speaker 2>my mind at that moment, I wanted to kill him
<v Speaker 2>before he killed me, because really, all the stories I
<v Speaker 2>had ever heard about a bigfoot were terror stories. You know,
<v Speaker 2>I'd read in magazines and stuff because there wasn't there
<v Speaker 2>weren't a lot of shows like there are now, and
<v Speaker 2>you know, we didn't have shows on the internet or
<v Speaker 2>podcasts like yours. Back then. I didn't have access to
<v Speaker 2>him so I could learn about him and learn different traditions.
<v Speaker 2>But at the time it was self preservation. I just
<v Speaker 2>wanted to kill him, be for he killed me.
<v Speaker 1>Okay, yeah, that makes sense. And you felt like you
<v Speaker 1>were in danger? And do you feel like the creature
<v Speaker 1>was up to no good? What kind of feeling did
<v Speaker 1>you get.
<v Speaker 2>At that moment? It was dread. It was fear and
<v Speaker 2>dread just because it was unknown to me. And seeing
<v Speaker 2>the way, I assume and I imagine it was the
<v Speaker 2>creature that had killed the deer. There were prints around
<v Speaker 2>the deer, the dead deer, and it was ripped apart,
<v Speaker 2>so I'm assuming it was this very large creature that
<v Speaker 2>had killed it. But seeing that was frightening. And seeing
<v Speaker 2>this creature in front of you that you've never seen
<v Speaker 2>or never heard only, you know, my knowledge before this
<v Speaker 2>was like carrying the Hendersons and stories from I like readers,
<v Speaker 2>digests and stuff like that.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, absolutely, And what did the creature look like, can
<v Speaker 1>you describe the details on its face?
<v Speaker 2>Details on its face were very very dark face with
<v Speaker 2>cracks in it, almost like a tree bark type crack.
<v Speaker 2>And the closest that I've been able to find to
<v Speaker 2>the kind of face I saw was like an aborigine
<v Speaker 2>from Australia with the flat nose and the pronounced upper lip, big,
<v Speaker 2>the large cheek bone, and like kind of a pronounced brow.
<v Speaker 2>But it wasn't outstanding like a gorilla, you know. The fur.
<v Speaker 2>He was brown, his very dark brown, like a like
<v Speaker 2>a old wet oak tree brown. And it was kind
<v Speaker 2>of it was wet and stringy at the time because
<v Speaker 2>it was wet season, I imagine, but it looked it
<v Speaker 2>looked matted and kind of wet.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, that's terrifying. And it does sound like he was
<v Speaker 1>being territorial to confront you like that, and possibly you
<v Speaker 1>guys were competing for the deer.
<v Speaker 2>That reading reading now and the research, it seems that
<v Speaker 2>way like he was just moved in. That was his
<v Speaker 2>hunting round at that moment, you know, like he moved
<v Speaker 2>in and he wanted to take over because we had
<v Speaker 2>been hunting there before. We had This was ninety four,
<v Speaker 2>and I know I had hunted there in ninety one
<v Speaker 2>and two, you know, leading up to that, So I
<v Speaker 2>think maybe he just moved into the area and was
<v Speaker 2>maybe following deer. Yeah, because we had there was a
<v Speaker 2>lot of deer in the area that year and the
<v Speaker 2>previous sugar there wasn't. So I'm thinking like maybe the
<v Speaker 2>deer herd had moved through and he was just following
<v Speaker 2>the food.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, that's what it sounds like. He was following the
<v Speaker 1>deer and the waterways, and those are two important things
<v Speaker 1>to have around for survival. And yeah, you were seeing
<v Speaker 1>evidence of this thing. You were hearing low growls, you
<v Speaker 1>were finding tracks, mutilated deer, and you knew something was
<v Speaker 1>wrong in the area and you later figured out what
<v Speaker 1>it was.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, definitely, it's I wish. I'm trying to get back
<v Speaker 2>there now. I'm trying to get permission from the landowner
<v Speaker 2>so I can get back in there because I definitely
<v Speaker 2>want to see if I can find anything. I want
<v Speaker 2>to approach it differently, and honestly, there's a part of
<v Speaker 2>me I want to go and apologize for what I did.
<v Speaker 2>I have a very different outlook on them now, and
<v Speaker 2>I see them they're they're very human like. And I've
<v Speaker 2>been learning a lot of oral I've been trying to
<v Speaker 2>learn a lot of oral history from different tribes in
<v Speaker 2>the area. So I'm I'm trying to find things that
<v Speaker 2>I can leave as offerings and things to do to
<v Speaker 2>where I can atone for what I did.
<v Speaker 1>Do you feel regret for shooting out the creature?
<v Speaker 2>Very much? So very much?
<v Speaker 1>So.
<v Speaker 2>I mean I can't It's hard to emphasize and get
<v Speaker 2>people to understand. You know, I didn't shoot it on purpose. Well,
<v Speaker 2>I mean I shot on purpose, but I didn't. I
<v Speaker 2>wasn't hunting. Yeah, I was hunting deer. He was there
<v Speaker 2>when I woke up, or it was there when I
<v Speaker 2>woke up, and it scared me, and I was I
<v Speaker 2>was a terrified sixteen year old, you know, and the
<v Speaker 2>only way I knew how to defend myself was to
<v Speaker 2>shoot the thing.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I completely understand why you did it and something
<v Speaker 1>like that, Especially in the nineties, there wasn't very much
<v Speaker 1>information and you were confronted by this creature and you
<v Speaker 1>woke up to a loud snap and this thing staring
<v Speaker 1>at you. Did it looked like it was angry? Could
<v Speaker 1>you tell like if it looked like it had bad
<v Speaker 1>intentions or was it just observing you.
<v Speaker 2>I couldn't. I couldn't tell. I couldn't see, Like his
<v Speaker 2>eyes were really dark, so it's kind of hard to
<v Speaker 2>read if there was any faciful expressions. Does that make sense?
<v Speaker 2>I just I couldn't. I saw his face. I saw
<v Speaker 2>what it looked like in the details from that far away,
<v Speaker 2>but I couldn't see any emotion or intent in this face.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, now that makes sense. And it was a shoot first,
<v Speaker 1>I asked questions later situation, oh for sure.
<v Speaker 2>And thinking back, it makes me think that maybe I've
<v Speaker 2>always always heard from from different tribes like you don't
<v Speaker 2>you don't see them unless they want you to see them.
<v Speaker 2>You don't have an encounter unless they want you to
<v Speaker 2>have the encounter. So thinking back to it now, I
<v Speaker 2>was I was asleep and it woke me up looking
<v Speaker 2>at me, and it didn't wake me up by attacking me.
<v Speaker 2>So there's a small part of me that wonders, like,
<v Speaker 2>was it just trying to communicate and saying, hey, here
<v Speaker 2>I am you know? I just I don't know, but
<v Speaker 2>I wonder. I always wonder.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I feel like it was being more territorial because
<v Speaker 1>these things know what firearms are, and you were in
<v Speaker 1>the area hunting deer. I don't feel like it was
<v Speaker 1>there to shake your hand or communicate.
<v Speaker 2>And there's I get that. There was a lady, actually
<v Speaker 2>a YouTube creator I was talking to. She said she
<v Speaker 2>had mentioned that it was it was being territorial and
<v Speaker 2>that actually after I had fired at it, the holler
<v Speaker 2>it was it was actually howling for assistance, you know,
<v Speaker 2>So I may have hit it in a vital spot,
<v Speaker 2>is how she was putting.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, because usually if these things want you out of
<v Speaker 1>the area, they'll wood knock, they'll vocalize, they'll push over trees.
<v Speaker 1>But if they reveal themselves to you, that means they
<v Speaker 1>mean business. And I'd hate to find out what what
<v Speaker 1>would have happened. I mean, maybe it just would have
<v Speaker 1>been a standoff and the thing would have just walked off.
<v Speaker 1>But at the same time, if it didn't go that way,
<v Speaker 1>it would be scary to find out what would have happened.
<v Speaker 1>I've heard. I heard a story on Sasquatch Chronicles years ago.
<v Speaker 1>There's a guy hunting in his tree stand and he
<v Speaker 1>claims that a sasquatch came up and ripped the stand
<v Speaker 1>down and like completely demolished it with him in it,
<v Speaker 1>and these things they don't like people hunting in their
<v Speaker 1>area when they're present, and I don't know, like being
<v Speaker 1>sixteen years years old, you just never know what would
<v Speaker 1>have happened. I often hear people in the comments say,
<v Speaker 1>I've never heard a story where bigfoot attack someone. I have.
<v Speaker 1>Maybe other people haven't, but I have. And back in
<v Speaker 1>the day, like you said, you all the stories you
<v Speaker 1>heard were bad, like the Boggy Creek story, Like these
<v Speaker 1>people were shooting at them every time they encountered it,
<v Speaker 1>and the thing would be screaming, and like that's that's
<v Speaker 1>kind of the reality of it. I mean, there are
<v Speaker 1>people out there that claim they mind speak and these
<v Speaker 1>things are peaceful, spiritual creatures and they trade blueberries with them,
<v Speaker 1>but I don't know. I've had positive experiences with them.
<v Speaker 1>When I've seen them, they just get up and walk
<v Speaker 1>off or try to go their own way. But I've
<v Speaker 1>also been followed out of the woods, charged by these things,
<v Speaker 1>screamed at, and you can tell that there's another side
<v Speaker 1>to them that you don't want to see.
<v Speaker 2>Absolutely, and that's that's the the good, good hearted person
<v Speaker 2>in me. I wanted to be, you know, and I
<v Speaker 2>think like many others, we wanted to be peaceful, like
<v Speaker 2>we want to have an encounter with it, just to
<v Speaker 2>know what it is, where it comes from. And that's
<v Speaker 2>all I wanted to, you know, the knowledge of its
<v Speaker 2>existence and how long they've been around. And then there's
<v Speaker 2>other people who's like, this is it's a battle, it's
<v Speaker 2>a war. You know they're the enemy. You don't want
<v Speaker 2>to I don't want to learn about them, understand them.
<v Speaker 2>You just know they're big, hairy creatures and you want
<v Speaker 2>to kill it and get the money.

<v Speaker 2>his hands to his chest, almost like he was to me.

<v Speaker 2>a word one of the tribes call him. I think
<v Speaker 2>in the Northwest. Maybe maybe it's Ojibwe, one of the

<v Speaker 2>called the creature sabe, which I guess means hairy man,

<v Speaker 1>other dimensions or do you feel like they're purely physical.
<v Speaker 2>I think personally they do have interdimensional qualities. I don't
<v Speaker 2>know if they come from another dimensional dimension, but I
<v Speaker 2>think they can travel interdimensionally. So I think there there's
<v Speaker 2>different phases that like there is their physical phase, but
<v Speaker 2>I think they can can phase out, you know, like
<v Speaker 2>for their cloaking, then turn invisible where you can't see him.

<v Speaker 2>or if they actually leave this dimension and go step

<v Speaker 2>a break from whatever it's chasing you, whatever predator is

<v Speaker 2>mixture both. That's that's their exit strategy. Gets to the

<v Speaker 2>think the bigfoot sasquatch creatures, I think they can see

<v Speaker 2>night vision or any of these cameras that click, you know,
<v Speaker 2>they turn on, have a one two second delay. They
<v Speaker 2>have the IR light that's got to kick on. So
<v Speaker 2>if you see the light, it's easy to uh to
<v Speaker 2>get away from it, to hide from it. Avoid.

<v Speaker 1>can't fathom the supernatural side or the interdimensional side of
<v Speaker 1>the sasquatch, and it's just hard to comprehend, acknowledge, and
<v Speaker 1>understand as a human being. But I feel like it
<v Speaker 1>would be like trying to explain your bank account to
<v Speaker 1>a grizzly bear, or that you get food by taking
<v Speaker 1>this piece of paper to the store and they take
<v Speaker 1>that as money and you get food, Like trying to
<v Speaker 1>explain that to an ants or a bear, your dog,
<v Speaker 1>like they're just not going to get it, Or trying
<v Speaker 1>to explain your mortgage to an animal, like it just
<v Speaker 1>doesn't compute, it doesn't make sense. And I feel like
<v Speaker 1>it's the same way with the spiritual side to these beings,
<v Speaker 1>Like we're just never going to understand it. There's something
<v Speaker 1>there that we're just not capable of linking in our
<v Speaker 1>mind and fully understanding it.
<v Speaker 2>Absolutely, absolutely, Just like you just said, is like explaining
<v Speaker 2>things that are every they common to us is we
<v Speaker 2>don't even think about it. It's more of a muscle
<v Speaker 2>memory thing for us to pay somebody at a catch register.
<v Speaker 2>But you would have to explain that to an animal.
<v Speaker 2>And that's what us as humans trying to understand their capabilities,
<v Speaker 2>you know, what they're capable of, what they can see,
<v Speaker 2>how they they move through time and space. We can't
<v Speaker 2>fathom that. We just can't understand it.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, and maybe we're not meant to. I mean, obviously
<v Speaker 1>we're not meant to and we weren't designed that way.
<v Speaker 1>But yeah, there's certainly things going on that we can't understand,
<v Speaker 1>and especially with regular animals, the senses that they have,
<v Speaker 1>the capabilities the sixth sense, like animals definitely operate on
<v Speaker 1>a different frequency than human beings. And just like how
<v Speaker 1>good a deer can smell or a shark or a
<v Speaker 1>bear is just amazing.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, yeah, and that's that's one thing I've not I've
<v Speaker 2>not thought about or heard other people cover, is the smell.
<v Speaker 2>I know, I take that back. I know one other
<v Speaker 2>podcast where you just talk about taking scentwicks that's supposed
<v Speaker 2>to be baked for a bigfoot taking it out. But
<v Speaker 2>I've not heard a lot of people talk about the
<v Speaker 2>their their smell, their sense of smell, and how strong
<v Speaker 2>it is and and what they can do with it,
<v Speaker 2>because we don't know that much about them. And that's
<v Speaker 2>all I all I strive for at this point is knowledge.
<v Speaker 2>I just want to learn as much as I can
<v Speaker 2>about them.
<v Speaker 1>Oh yeah, for sure. I imagine if they live out
<v Speaker 1>in the wild, their their sense of smells out of
<v Speaker 1>this world, their vision, they're hearing, and they have capabilities
<v Speaker 1>that we just don't understand.
<v Speaker 2>And once once we get to that understanding, but I
<v Speaker 2>hope we do, I'm gonna write as many books about
<v Speaker 2>it as I can.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, you should totally write a book about your encounter
<v Speaker 1>and the information that you've learned since then.
<v Speaker 2>It's hard for me to imagine that putting it all
<v Speaker 2>together and giving it to an editor and actually being published.
<v Speaker 2>But I I have been wanting to start a podcast
<v Speaker 2>listening to you guys and see you guys do it
<v Speaker 2>and all the stories that you share and evidence. You
<v Speaker 2>get new evidence all the time because people share their
<v Speaker 2>stories with you, and that's that's I just want to
<v Speaker 2>gather stories and evidence and then go, hopefully go to
<v Speaker 2>the places this happened and it happened to me.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, absolutely, Doing the podcast is therapy with the things
<v Speaker 1>that I've encountered and experienced, and I don't have to
<v Speaker 1>live with this alone. And I hear other people's stories
<v Speaker 1>such as yours, and it definitely grounds me and lets
<v Speaker 1>me know like, hey, these things are out there. Other
<v Speaker 1>people are seeing them as well, and their stories are
<v Speaker 1>very similar to yours, and some of them are out
<v Speaker 1>there and some of them bringing new information, and it
<v Speaker 1>definitely helps because you learn things, especially with the out
<v Speaker 1>the out there stories, the people that are mind speaking
<v Speaker 1>or talking about these these things that don't make sense.
<v Speaker 1>It's like, well, there's another aspect to it that I
<v Speaker 1>don't understand, or maybe maybe it's not true. But at
<v Speaker 1>the same time, there's certainly a lot that we don't
<v Speaker 1>know about the Sasquatch other than people seeing them out
<v Speaker 1>in the woods finding tracks. There's got to be more
<v Speaker 1>to it.
<v Speaker 2>I agree, And that's that's what we want to find out.
<v Speaker 2>That's what we want to learn, is like how much
<v Speaker 2>more is there to it? And I to the telepathy,
<v Speaker 2>the mind speaking, the telepothy that that just makes me wonder,
<v Speaker 2>like is there ever been a time where I was
<v Speaker 2>sitting there and it tried to speak to me and
<v Speaker 2>I thought it was just my inner voice and I
<v Speaker 2>didn't listen. Yeah, yeah, Like I mean, I mean, ideas
<v Speaker 2>are your inner monologue. You know how many times it's
<v Speaker 2>something popped up and you're like, why would I think
<v Speaker 2>of that? That's that's idiotic or that's stupid, or like, hey,
<v Speaker 2>that's really great, Like how do we know that wasn't
<v Speaker 2>put there by someone else or something else?
<v Speaker 1>Oh? Yeah, the human brain constantly has thoughts that are
<v Speaker 1>flooding the mind that maybe we didn't even think of
<v Speaker 1>or asked for, but they're there, definitely.
<v Speaker 2>Sometimes sometimes those thoughts, you know, they get you in trouble,
<v Speaker 2>like maybe I should drink one more beer. Then yeah,
<v Speaker 2>sometimes like no, you've had enough, just go home.
<v Speaker 1>M Yeah. You have to pick and choose which thoughts
<v Speaker 1>to listen to, and you have to wonder where they
<v Speaker 1>came from and why. The sounds that you heard in
<v Speaker 1>the forest though, did they sound like the era sounds
<v Speaker 1>you mentioned that earlier, Like you didn't even know about
<v Speaker 1>the Sierra sounds, and some of the things you were
<v Speaker 1>hearing remind you of that, not the.
<v Speaker 2>Not the the huffing and the breathing, you know, and
<v Speaker 2>but the the wailing that it made me think of it,
<v Speaker 2>I mean, looking back on after I found out about
<v Speaker 2>the Sierra sounds, listening to them, and then look, you know,
<v Speaker 2>thinking back like this, this was the kind of how
<v Speaker 2>this is kind of how he was doing and then
<v Speaker 2>and not just those sounds, but watching the you know,
<v Speaker 2>hearing sounds people have captured on shows, you know, come
<v Speaker 2>and then the way they yell on the show to
<v Speaker 2>mimic what what they heard or happened is like, that's
<v Speaker 2>extremely close to what I heard, so and that's I
<v Speaker 2>mean really, that's when I started like this thing's real
<v Speaker 2>and more people know about it.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah. Absolutely, Did you ever return to the area after
<v Speaker 1>you shot at the creature? Did you go hunting there
<v Speaker 1>or exploring anymore?
<v Speaker 2>I have not. That was that day was the last
<v Speaker 2>time I went in those woods hunting. My stepdad and
<v Speaker 2>my uncle went back there. They hunted there for maybe
<v Speaker 2>two more years, maybe three, But I never heard anything
<v Speaker 2>from them about it. And I honestly believe had they
<v Speaker 2>seen anything, they wouldn't have said it. They wouldn't have
<v Speaker 2>told me to begin with, just because they didn't want
<v Speaker 2>to give any kind of validation to what it happened.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, that makes sense. And moving forward, you're going to
<v Speaker 1>try to get access to that property and see if
<v Speaker 1>you can look around for any evidence or possibly go
<v Speaker 1>back and apologize and leave some sort of peace offering
<v Speaker 1>for the Sasquatch.
<v Speaker 2>Absolutely, I can. I can access the the river side
<v Speaker 2>of the property, you know, so I can get on
<v Speaker 2>the river front of the beach and all that right
<v Speaker 2>in that area. I just can't get into the woods
<v Speaker 2>where it happened yet, I'm still trying to contact the
<v Speaker 2>owner and waiting for responses. But there's other there's a
<v Speaker 2>couple other places in that general area up and down
<v Speaker 2>river that I can can get into, and I can
<v Speaker 2>I can reach around, look around, see what's going on.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, no doubt. And if you can't get access to
<v Speaker 1>the property, I feel like the river would be a
<v Speaker 1>good place to start, especially in the spot where you
<v Speaker 1>last all the tracks.
<v Speaker 2>Look looking at the matt I feel that way too,
<v Speaker 2>And I feel like if they are traveling, he's traveling
<v Speaker 2>by the waterways, so he's traveling up and down the rivers,
<v Speaker 2>and he could he could have just went into the
<v Speaker 2>river there or into the woods there at that particular point,
<v Speaker 2>because there was there were more deer in the area
<v Speaker 2>at the time. But I have a plan for this
<v Speaker 2>summer to spend a lot of time going up and
<v Speaker 2>down that river bank looking for science tracks, anything and
<v Speaker 2>leaving a few offerings as some things, leaving some tobacco,
<v Speaker 2>some fresh nuts and berries, fresh water, stuff like that.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah. Absolutely, And you'll have to let me know if
<v Speaker 1>you run into them again, or if you find any
<v Speaker 1>evidence of the creatures still being in the area.
