<v Speaker 1>We're gonna get to the return of the OG Bloodline
<v Speaker 1>minus Paul Hayman. We'll get to the Pile Driver, we'll
<v Speaker 1>talk about the new Number one contenders, we'll talk about
<v Speaker 1>Jade and Bianca. We'll get to all that, and you
<v Speaker 1>can listen to the full SmackDown review that was posted
<v Speaker 1>in this feed just before, just before this one. But
<v Speaker 1>let's talk about the women's mid Car Championship, which is
<v Speaker 1>the United States Championship. So the women finally have it.
<v Speaker 1>Those of you who have been advocating for the women's
<v Speaker 1>divisions to have a mid card championship, well here you go.
<v Speaker 1>Now does Raw return in kind with an intercontinental champion perhaps,
<v Speaker 1>or is this a champion that can float? I don't
<v Speaker 1>know yet, maybe you guys do, but I can see
<v Speaker 1>Raw also doing this, which now solidifies for the end
<v Speaker 1>of time, the way the WWE has run the women's divisions,
<v Speaker 1>that you will have every single match with everyone, all
<v Speaker 1>the time on the women's side about a championship that
<v Speaker 1>was already a problem to begin with, if you deem
<v Speaker 1>it a problem, But now you're going to have everything
<v Speaker 1>always and forever about a championship, and personal feuds are
<v Speaker 1>gonna probably be few and far between, not that they
<v Speaker 1>won't ever happen, but given the amount of time that
<v Speaker 1>the women already get on both shows relative to the men,
<v Speaker 1>and now that they're trying to really put the women
<v Speaker 1>on equal footing with the men in the number of championships.
<v Speaker 1>It doesn't compute, right, The math doesn't math here. You're
<v Speaker 1>gonna have everything almost everything about the championships, which you know,
<v Speaker 1>maybe to some of you is a good thing. But
<v Speaker 1>as I've said, the women have a United States Championship
<v Speaker 1>over on SmackDown. Rob will probably follow in kN with
<v Speaker 1>the Intercontinental Championship. But I know some of you have
<v Speaker 1>been looking forward to this, and I hope it goes well.
<v Speaker 1>I really do. I'm not rooting for the demise of
<v Speaker 1>this championship or the division. I really do truly hope
<v Speaker 1>that it goes well. And are the women deserving of it? Well, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I think the women who do bust their ass are
<v Speaker 1>working or are deserving of it. But WWE has had
<v Speaker 1>an issue since the women's division has been since been
<v Speaker 1>in existence, right since time in memoriam with the women
<v Speaker 1>that they have little consistency with the amount of airtime
<v Speaker 1>on the show and especially on Raw now going to
<v Speaker 1>two hours hopefully forever, although I don't know if it's
<v Speaker 1>going to be forever. I don't have a lot of
<v Speaker 1>faith that if they introduce a new championship on Raw too,
<v Speaker 1>that they're going to be really prudent to make sure
<v Speaker 1>that the women get the time they deserve. The women
<v Speaker 1>simply need more time minutes on the show, quality minutes,
<v Speaker 1>not just filler quality. I don't need a match just
<v Speaker 1>to check a box that we've seen so many times before.
<v Speaker 1>Maybe I'm just so sour on how poorly they've managed
<v Speaker 1>the women's Tag Team Championships and that maybe that's not
<v Speaker 1>fair because tag team championships as a whole in wwe
<v Speaker 1>have been managed terribly, even the men. How many times
<v Speaker 1>have you seen the men's Tag Team Championships get put
<v Speaker 1>on the back burner, forgotten for weeks or months at
<v Speaker 1>a time. It's a chronic issue with tag team championships.
<v Speaker 1>So perhaps this singles championship that the women are introducing,
<v Speaker 1>and again maybe a counterpart on raw, things will be
<v Speaker 1>different and they will treat this a little bit more respectfully,
<v Speaker 1>to say the very least. So I wanted to put
<v Speaker 1>my two cents out there. You guys know how I
<v Speaker 1>feel about it. I wanted them to make show me
<v Speaker 1>that they can manage the championships they have before giving
<v Speaker 1>them more to work with. That's what I wanted. And yes,
<v Speaker 1>it does allow women who might not otherwise get an
<v Speaker 1>opportunity at the SmackDown or the SmackDown, the Women's World
<v Speaker 1>Championship or the WWE Women's Championship, an opportunity to compete
<v Speaker 1>for a rung on the ladder to eventually get to
<v Speaker 1>the point of challenging for a women's championship. And from
<v Speaker 1>that perspective, I think that's a it's a net positive.
<v Speaker 1>It's not just you know, a main title for the
<v Speaker 1>women or bust again, forget about the tag team titles.
<v Speaker 1>I'm talking about singles. It allows progression, right, it allows
<v Speaker 1>a mile marker for someone and and also will allow
<v Speaker 1>women to add to the resumes. Who's going to be
<v Speaker 1>the first women's Championship, the United States Women's Championship, Right,
<v Speaker 1>Who's going to be the first ever woman intercontinental champion,
<v Speaker 1>Who's going to be the first United States Women's United
<v Speaker 1>States Champion. There's a lot of positives that come here.
<v Speaker 1>I wanted to just give you guys my honest thoughts
<v Speaker 1>here with the Women's Championship being added to a division
<v Speaker 1>that has already shown in a company that has already
<v Speaker 1>shown that they have trouble managing the ones they already have,
<v Speaker 1>so there, but I do wish it the best. I
<v Speaker 1>do wish the United States Championship for the women the best.
<v Speaker 1>I'm sure the women in division are actually very happy.
<v Speaker 1>If they were listening to this, they'd probably listen in disgust.
<v Speaker 1>But it is what it is. That's how I feel.
<v Speaker 1>I'm hesitantly pessimistic about it, if that makes sense. I'm
<v Speaker 1>hesitantly pessimistic, but looking forward to being proven wrong. So
<v Speaker 1>we'll see, alrighty. Also on SmackDown Now, Amanda went over
<v Speaker 1>this on her SmackDown review. We had a move that
<v Speaker 1>many of us never thought we'd have, and was it
<v Speaker 1>delivered in the most crisp, devastating fashion, most visually pleasing. No,
<v Speaker 1>it was not. So there is that, okay. It was
<v Speaker 1>two guys who are doing this in a in a
<v Speaker 1>company that has not allowed a pile driver in twenty years.
<v Speaker 1>That's something that is you know, that's a big responsibility.
<v Speaker 1>You don't want to f it up and actually injure
<v Speaker 1>a guy. It is also inherently high risk. That's it's
<v Speaker 1>not just part of the show. That is true. When
<v Speaker 1>you're simulating trying to dump ahead a guy directly on
<v Speaker 1>top of his head, there is an inherent additional risk
<v Speaker 1>that comes with that, including an increased risk of paralysis
<v Speaker 1>and death. So, I mean that's real as we all know,
<v Speaker 1>which is why it's been banned and why it should
<v Speaker 1>continue to be banned. And I don't want to see
<v Speaker 1>it in you know, matches on a regular basis, like
<v Speaker 1>chair shots to the head. Do I wish there was
<v Speaker 1>a way to introduce these in a way that did
<v Speaker 1>not increase the risk of injury or death. Yeah, pile
<v Speaker 1>drivers are awesome. How awesome are pile drivers? They're freaking awesome.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, let's be real. The pile driver is one
<v Speaker 1>of the most well known maneuvers of all time. Even
<v Speaker 1>if you're not a wrestling fan, everyone who knows what
<v Speaker 1>a pile driver is. So yes, you have the tombstone.
<v Speaker 1>Tombstone's a little more controlled sometimes it's called the Tombstone
<v Speaker 1>pile driver in its full name, But the regular pile
<v Speaker 1>driver that you sit backwards and not lean forwards on
<v Speaker 1>does increase the risk. And having Kevin Owens do this
<v Speaker 1>to Randy Orton in their interaction in their scuffle, pushing
<v Speaker 1>the referees out of the way, kicking, kicking Randy Orton. Bam,
<v Speaker 1>pile driver it again. It looked like the most safe
<v Speaker 1>pile driver all time, but the effect is still the same.
<v Speaker 1>To be able to build on this, I don't know
<v Speaker 1>if we'll see another where Randy does it to Kevin.
<v Speaker 1>That could be the payoff. And I really like this.
<v Speaker 1>This is something, This is something that you would never
<v Speaker 1>see I don't think under Vince. I don't think you
<v Speaker 1>would have saw something like this under Vince. Once it's banned,
<v Speaker 1>it's banned. That's it. You get fined if otherwise, right,
<v Speaker 1>And we saw this actually in the Triple H Undertaker match.
<v Speaker 1>I think it was WrestleMania twenty seven. I'd have to
<v Speaker 1>go back and look. Somebody's gonna correct me, but it
<v Speaker 1>was there there. What was it first encounter? I think
<v Speaker 1>it was their first encounter before the match with Shawn
<v Speaker 1>Michaels as a special guest referee, and I remember, so
<v Speaker 1>it may have been wrestlemand twenty six then because WrestleMania
<v Speaker 1>twenty five. No, no, no, it was twenty seven because twenty
<v Speaker 1>six was Shawn's last match. Twenty seven and twenty eight
<v Speaker 1>where Triple H's two. Okay, so I think I am correct,
<v Speaker 1>but that's beside the point. They had a spot in
<v Speaker 1>that match where Triple H I believe hit Undertaker in
<v Speaker 1>the head with a chair, and at that point they
<v Speaker 1>had already banned those that maneuver. They both ended up
<v Speaker 1>getting fined. Both Undertaker and Triple H both ended up
<v Speaker 1>getting fined by Vince as they should have. So you
<v Speaker 1>don't see band maneuver's done very often. And you heard
<v Speaker 1>the announcers Michael Coleen and uh Corey Graves while saying,
<v Speaker 1>you know that maneuver's banned for a reason. They were
<v Speaker 1>freaking out and they sold it well. Randy Orton sold
<v Speaker 1>it well. He looked like he had been shocked. You know,
<v Speaker 1>he's been rolled into an ambulance and head to the
<v Speaker 1>you know, heads to the hospital. It was great, just
<v Speaker 1>just well done. Do I again, do I wish it
<v Speaker 1>was executed better? Yeah? Sure I do, But still just brilliant, brilliant,
<v Speaker 1>brilliant store because it not only created a little shock
<v Speaker 1>of like, oh my god, I thought that was banned,
<v Speaker 1>what are they doing, but it also added legitimate heat
<v Speaker 1>to Kevin, who has been beloved by fans for a
<v Speaker 1>long time now. He's been on his baby face run
<v Speaker 1>for a long, long, long, long time, and it's sometimes
<v Speaker 1>tough to turn the fans against somebody that they've loved
<v Speaker 1>for so long, and Kevin has had several heel turns
<v Speaker 1>in is it has passed, as we all know well documented,
<v Speaker 1>He's turned on everybody that he's ever aligned with, I think,
<v Speaker 1>but it's instant heat because people are shocked, they're scared,
<v Speaker 1>they're angry, they want immediate revenge on Kevin. This is
<v Speaker 1>really a win win all the way around, and a
<v Speaker 1>solid nine out of ten when it comes to execution
<v Speaker 1>and when it comes to effectiveness of what they're trying
<v Speaker 1>to achieve with this story. Kevin and Randy a plus here,
<v Speaker 1>and I'm looking forward to seeing what Survivors series brings
<v Speaker 1>for these two. All right, let's go through a SmackDown
<v Speaker 1>a little bit finer in detail, as the beginning of
<v Speaker 1>the show saw some resistance from Roman Reigns to put
<v Speaker 1>their pass behind them, him and Sammy's pass behind them,
<v Speaker 1>and we had Sammy tell Roman that the kick to
<v Speaker 1>the face wasn't intentional at the pl at Crown Jewel
<v Speaker 1>and that he only showed up for Jay, and he
<v Speaker 1>told Roman that it had been a long time since
<v Speaker 1>they've been in the ring together and he had thought
<v Speaker 1>of everything he would say, but revealed that being in
<v Speaker 1>the ring together at Crown Jewel brought up memories of
<v Speaker 1>a time of his career when the four of them
<v Speaker 1>felt like family. He said, those times are special and
<v Speaker 1>he knew that that had it all felt, had it
<v Speaker 1>all felt like I read that wrong when they were
<v Speaker 1>in the ring together, But Sammy said, the opposite of
<v Speaker 1>love isn't hate, it's indifference, and he knows that Roman
<v Speaker 1>isn't indifferent to him. He then said he could run
<v Speaker 1>all of it back again and mentioned riding at a
<v Speaker 1>bus and doing their handshake and Roman looking jacked and cool.
<v Speaker 1>Sammy then told him if he wanted to leave and
<v Speaker 1>never get involved in the Bloodline business again, and he
<v Speaker 1>knows that he that he wants the good times back,
<v Speaker 1>and Sammy's a noticed a smirk down Roman's face, and
<v Speaker 1>Sammy said that he wanted one thing in order to
<v Speaker 1>put the band back together, and that was an apology.
<v Speaker 1>Roman piped up and asked if Sammy wanted an apology
<v Speaker 1>from him, and Sammy said he wanted an apology for Jay.
<v Speaker 1>Roman acted like he was going to apologize, but then
<v Speaker 1>said he was sorry that Jay wasted his time with this.
<v Speaker 1>He said, the problem is solo and asked him to
<v Speaker 1>come to the ring, and Sammy left and went backstage,
<v Speaker 1>and so yeah, I mean Jacob fot too then appeared,
<v Speaker 1>but we got an apology from Roman. Didn't happen, and
<v Speaker 1>you know, they left the crowd a little bit disappointed.
<v Speaker 1>But even if the end of the show didn't happen,
<v Speaker 1>which is you know, we'll talk about that with the reuniting,
<v Speaker 1>they could have strung this out another week. They really
<v Speaker 1>could have, but they didn't. It was just a nice progression.
<v Speaker 1>It's as I mentioned, along this whole reuniting build and execution,
<v Speaker 1>I have really applauded it for being realistic. You know,
<v Speaker 1>everybody didn't just say yeah, yeah, I remember you remember
<v Speaker 1>how great it Remember all the good times we had.
<v Speaker 1>Forget all the bad times. Let's talk about the good times. No,
<v Speaker 1>they acknowledge that everybody's had problems with everybody. There's no
<v Speaker 1>combination of individuals, any two individuals in that group that
<v Speaker 1>didn't have an issue. So it makes sense that it's
<v Speaker 1>going to take time to heal wounds. And that's the
<v Speaker 1>smart thing here. Everyone just didn't come back together and
<v Speaker 1>one big hug and everything's of water under the bridge. No,
<v Speaker 1>this makes sense. So a nice progression here, albeit I
<v Speaker 1>don't you know what they have happened at the end
<v Speaker 1>of the show here, okay, So Candisellarray and Bailey then
<v Speaker 1>took place on SmackDown, and well, Bailey beats Candase Lollarray
<v Speaker 1>in eight and a half minutes after she chased her
<v Speaker 1>around the ring and Candace sold an ankle injury, and
<v Speaker 1>as she got back up in the ring, the ref
<v Speaker 1>separated the women and Candace attempted to get the victory
<v Speaker 1>with a steal here roll the roll up, and then
<v Speaker 1>Bailey avoided it and put Candace into a pin and
<v Speaker 1>got the victory. So Bailey continuing to at least be
<v Speaker 1>on the show but not doing a whole lot of
<v Speaker 1>relevant things. Kind of the story of Bailey's career in
<v Speaker 1>the last two years. She's there, but they don't do
<v Speaker 1>a whole lot of important things with her. Now you
<v Speaker 1>may say, well, you're talking about she was champion, Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>a championship roun That was just painfully underwhelming, especially with
<v Speaker 1>the talent like Bailey, a proven talent like Bailly. This
<v Speaker 1>isn't an experiment or trying to elevate it a young talent.
<v Speaker 1>This is a proven commodity in Bailey, and I think
<v Speaker 1>they've really dropped the ball with her the last couple
<v Speaker 1>of years. But she's still on TV and she's you know,
<v Speaker 1>racking up victories. Okay, you know, I'll take what I
<v Speaker 1>can get here, all right. So then we have, let's
<v Speaker 1>see here a a pile driver, right, that's the whole
<v Speaker 1>pile driver deal.
<v Speaker 2>Now.
<v Speaker 1>The one thing I didn't mention is when he was
<v Speaker 1>having a the moment of being rolled into the ambulance, Randy.
<v Speaker 1>That is, we had mister suit Cody Rhodes come out
<v Speaker 1>and you know, sit in the ambulance with him and
<v Speaker 1>be mister sympathetic and on all the things. And that
<v Speaker 1>does make sense given the friendship that these two have,
<v Speaker 1>at least for now until that collapses, which I hope
<v Speaker 1>it happens soon. But that is something that, you know,
<v Speaker 1>it annoyed me at first, because mister, you know, I
<v Speaker 1>gotta be there for every big moment to make sure
<v Speaker 1>I'm looking like the good guy, and I wear a
<v Speaker 1>suit absolutely everywhere. As I've said, I feel like he
<v Speaker 1>sleeps in those suits. I'm not kidding. I don't know
<v Speaker 1>why he has this need to be in a suit
<v Speaker 1>all the time everywhere is because he feels like he's
<v Speaker 1>representing the company everywhere he goes, and I guess to
<v Speaker 1>some degree he is. But he's representing a professional wrestling company,
<v Speaker 1>all right. He's representing a wrestling company which they wrestle in.
<v Speaker 1>He's not representing, you know, a law firm or a
<v Speaker 1>senator's office, although I'm sure he will be at some point.
<v Speaker 1>The constant suits and it's not just on air, it's
<v Speaker 1>also in interviews. You know, he's done with Chris van
<v Speaker 1>Vliet and others. I'm I don't know what the obsession
<v Speaker 1>is with the suits. Does he get he's got to
<v Speaker 1>be tired of it. He's always gotta be tired of like,
<v Speaker 1>oh man, I gotta iron press this and steam that
<v Speaker 1>and make sure I don't have any wrinkles in this one.
<v Speaker 1>And you know their t rips or tears or it's
<v Speaker 1>a pain in the ass to put in a suit
<v Speaker 1>all the time. As a man, we know, right, I
<v Speaker 1>mean I shouldn't be complaining. Women. I think have it
<v Speaker 1>a lot harder when getting ready for any event or anything, right,
<v Speaker 1>But when it comes to being as formal as you
<v Speaker 1>can possibly be suit is it? Man? And it's just
<v Speaker 1>constantly seeing this guy in a suit all the time.
<v Speaker 1>It really doesn't make him feel like the common man.
<v Speaker 1>I'm really perplexed as to how fans haven't really started
<v Speaker 1>to audibly turn on him. I don't know. Maybe they
<v Speaker 1>just love the music that much they want to say
<v Speaker 1>WHOA that much? I don't know. But the pile driver
<v Speaker 1>segment happened, as I mentioned at the top of the show,
<v Speaker 1>and there's that. Okay, so di y Johnny Gargano and
<v Speaker 1>Tomasso Champa take on pretty deadly Willlson and Elton Prince.
<v Speaker 1>This match was really quick, less than two minutes. I
<v Speaker 1>mean it was like a women's tag team match here,
<v Speaker 1>and pretty deadly get the victory. I'm sorry, pretty deadly
<v Speaker 1>take the loss. They wins, and then we go Beyonca
<v Speaker 1>Bellair and Jade car Gil who take on Tiffany Stratton
<v Speaker 1>and Nya Jacks. Oh, I didn't know either. Maybe you
<v Speaker 1>guys all knew this. I'm really late to the game.
<v Speaker 1>I didn't know Ludwig Kaiser and Tiffany Stratton were a thing.
<v Speaker 1>She put out a TikTok or something with and then
<v Speaker 1>they're in the whole same hotel room, and you know
<v Speaker 1>he gave her a kiss. I'm like, oh, okay, I
<v Speaker 1>guess this is happening. So yeah, I guess I'm really
<v Speaker 1>late to the party on that one, but didn't know.
<v Speaker 1>So we have Bianca Bella Air and Jade Cargill again
<v Speaker 1>in a tag team match that was admittedly entertaining. It
<v Speaker 1>was a match that is as good as it can be.
<v Speaker 1>I think with these four women in the ring, what
<v Speaker 1>I will say about this is it became abundantly clear
<v Speaker 1>to me Jade Cargill isn't in the same universe as
<v Speaker 1>Bianca bel Air when it comes to talent, She's not
<v Speaker 1>even in the same I can't go any bigger than
<v Speaker 1>the universe. So made my point, she's not there. And
<v Speaker 1>the reason I say that is when you saw when
<v Speaker 1>you saw Jade Cargill doing her maneuvers, even the kip up,
<v Speaker 1>which looked like it was in slow motion. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>it's a difficult thing to do and not everyone can
<v Speaker 1>do it, and that's fine, But when she got the
<v Speaker 1>hot tag to Bianca, which is the same formula for
<v Speaker 1>every match that they have, because she's not capable of
<v Speaker 1>coming in for a hot tag yet we have Bianca
<v Speaker 1>just going to town and doing kip ups with just
<v Speaker 1>triple the ease, and how quickly in lessly she was
<v Speaker 1>moving in the ring, and her offense was crazy good,
<v Speaker 1>and it was just so striking in the ferocity in
<v Speaker 1>which Bianca Bellair came out of that hot tag. Even
<v Speaker 1>Michael Cole was noting about how ferocious she was being.
<v Speaker 1>It was. It was, it was like just unleashing a
<v Speaker 1>wild animal. I don't know what it was with Bianca
<v Speaker 1>last night or two nights ago, and so I loved it.
<v Speaker 1>I loved it, But it was not only did I
<v Speaker 1>love it and continue to make my case for Beionca
<v Speaker 1>getting the hell out of that tag team for the
<v Speaker 1>really the sake of the women's division at this point,
<v Speaker 1>but more importantly, the striking contrast between her and Jade
<v Speaker 1>became self evident. I mean just there. That's why I
<v Speaker 1>don't think if they split, and they should, I don't
<v Speaker 1>think they should have a matchup between these two, at
<v Speaker 1>least not right now. Jade is nowhere near ready. She
<v Speaker 1>will look like a buffoon in the ring with Beyonca,
<v Speaker 1>at least from what I've seen now behind the scenes. Obviously,
<v Speaker 1>I don't know what the hell's going on. I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>Maybe she has improved at a point where I haven't

<v Speaker 1>division as a whole. Bianca doesn't get any promos anymore,
<v Speaker 1>and right now the women's the vision needs her. Yes,
<v Speaker 1>so returning Charlotte Flair will help. But I've said that
<v Speaker 1>for four months and every time I'm done predicting her
<v Speaker 1>coming back, and now it'll happen, is what, because now
<v Speaker 1>I'm done predicting it. That's how the world works. But
<v Speaker 1>I really don't if they put Beyonca in the ring
<v Speaker 1>with Jade from what I'm seeing again, from the outside.
<v Speaker 1>It would be an embarrassment for Jade because you'd see
<v Speaker 1>Beyonca having to hold back. She's the one doing most
<v Speaker 1>of the work here. Jade would have her moments of
<v Speaker 1>power and flexing and showing off her new outfits, and
<v Speaker 1>then Beyonca would come in and just kick ass. And
<v Speaker 1>the problem is, even though Beyonca would be doing a
<v Speaker 1>lot of the offense, you would have Jade having to
<v Speaker 1>sell it. It's a two person job, right So I
<v Speaker 1>just think that this would be a disastrous combination right
<v Speaker 1>now as a as opponents. And again, perhaps Jade is
<v Speaker 1>way better than I'm seeing, and she's made strides in
<v Speaker 1>the ring, and you know, but I haven't seen a
<v Speaker 1>ton of progress. I really haven't. And you know it
<v Speaker 1>a'll still the other thing I'm noticing, the crowd reactions
<v Speaker 1>for Jade are not good. They're not where I think
<v Speaker 1>WWE wants them to be. Right now, the crowd reactions
<v Speaker 1>for Jade, they're not booinger, they're just not reacting. But
<v Speaker 1>what do they have to react to a woman that
<v Speaker 1>says three or four words and some quips, you know,
<v Speaker 1>kind of quick witted line that was produced for her
<v Speaker 1>in a spat backstage, or her mean girl's attitude or
<v Speaker 1>posting on x about how she smells good. Are those
<v Speaker 1>the things fans are supposed to get excited about. No,
<v Speaker 1>she looks like a million bucks, But I think that
<v Speaker 1>card has finally played itself out. Now it's time to
<v Speaker 1>see what's beneath the surface. And from so far, what
<v Speaker 1>we've seen, we've seen glimpses of hope, glimpses of progress,
<v Speaker 1>but it's not where it should be in the minds
<v Speaker 1>of fans in today's expectations. Anyway, she might have been
<v Speaker 1>able to get away with this back in the early
<v Speaker 1>two thousands, late nineties. Absolutely, she would have been looked
<v Speaker 1>at as a pioneer in the women's division. Back then,
<v Speaker 1>I mean she would have been looked at as you know,
<v Speaker 1>Christopher Columbus discovering new worlds of women wrestling. That's what
<v Speaker 1>she would have been, because women's wrestling back then was
<v Speaker 1>such a joke and totally sexualized. But she would have
<v Speaker 1>been the best of both worlds. She has sex appeal,
<v Speaker 1>no doubt, but she would have been looked at as
<v Speaker 1>kind of the China of her era. But you stick
<v Speaker 1>her in twenty twenty four when the expectations of wrestling
<v Speaker 1>matches are completely different. The length of the women's matches
<v Speaker 1>are completely different. The perception of women's wrestling has changed drastically,
<v Speaker 1>from sex appeal, gravy bowl matches, bral and panties matches
<v Speaker 1>to Yeah Helen Sells to royal rumbles, to ladder matches
<v Speaker 1>and money in the Bank ladder matches to now introducing
<v Speaker 1>a mid card championship to tag team championships. Things are
<v Speaker 1>way different. So my point is Jade right now is
<v Speaker 1>a small fish in a big pond, and from what
<v Speaker 1>I'm seeing, I still don't feel she's anywhere near where
<v Speaker 1>she needs to be. That's just my take, and I'm
<v Speaker 1>done with the experiment here. You can't keep Bianca, who's
<v Speaker 1>an all world talent, in this position anymore. I think
<v Speaker 1>you need to move on from the investment. Let her
<v Speaker 1>sink or swim. Let Bianca do what she does best,
<v Speaker 1>which is have I mean kick ass matches, match of
<v Speaker 1>the year candidates. I remember with her and Sasha Banks
<v Speaker 1>did her and Becky Lynch had some pretty good matches too,
<v Speaker 1>So it's time. It's just time. I know I'm speaking
<v Speaker 1>into the wind here, spinning into the win, but okay,
<v Speaker 1>Moving on Motor City machine Guns, Chris Sabin and Alex
<v Speaker 1>Shelley took on Austin Theory and Grayson Waller, and this
<v Speaker 1>match was nearly the same length as the previous matcher
<v Speaker 1>with Biancavella and Jade Cargill. Pretty damn close, if not
<v Speaker 1>identical in terms of length, maybe minute or so, but
<v Speaker 1>the end of the match was Motor City machine Guns
<v Speaker 1>beating Grayson Waller and Austin Theory. As you would expect,
<v Speaker 1>given the Motor City machine Guns are new on the
<v Speaker 1>main roster, Waller and Theory are expected to lose because
<v Speaker 1>that's how we've been been viewing them the last several months.
<v Speaker 1>They have an on and again off again relationship. You
<v Speaker 1>think they're gonna split up or not. Oh, here comes
<v Speaker 1>Austin Theories, babyface turn up. Just kidding, it's not. We
<v Speaker 1>don't know what these two guys are right now, but
<v Speaker 1>we know the Motor City machine Guns have been together,
<v Speaker 1>and this is a great stat if you didn't already
<v Speaker 1>know it, have been together for twenty years in professional wrestling,
<v Speaker 1>and so they know what the hell they're doing, and
<v Speaker 1>they feel like a well oiled machine pun intended. I guess,
<v Speaker 1>and they beat Theory in Austin. I'm sorry Theory and
<v Speaker 1>Waller in ten and a half minutes. And so I
<v Speaker 1>liked it as tag team champions, I think they're representing
<v Speaker 1>the belts well. Getting a ten minute match here was
<v Speaker 1>absolutely warranted. And we don't know a whole lot about
<v Speaker 1>their personalities that will need to come, but for now
<v Speaker 1>we know that they're a hell of a hand in
<v Speaker 1>the ring, all right, So we then have let's see
<v Speaker 1>UFC champion Alex Pereira, who's shown in the crowd. And yeah,
<v Speaker 1>so we given their under the same umbrella of ownership.
<v Speaker 1>That makes sense, right, you have seen WW owned by
<v Speaker 1>the same company. Kind of weird. But the introduction of
<v Speaker 1>the Women's United States Championship by Nick Aldos again well written,
<v Speaker 1>well presented. Nick Alldos as a hell of a GM.
<v Speaker 1>I think one of the best GMS SmackDown has ever seen,
<v Speaker 1>or GM's period that w's ever seen. He's just born
<v Speaker 1>for this role. He's so good. So again I gave
<v Speaker 1>my thoughts on the Women's Championship here the new Women's
<v Speaker 1>Championship for the United States Championship. So I won't say
<v Speaker 1>much about it until I see how it's implemented again,
<v Speaker 1>is it exclusive to SmackDown? Is it not? We'll find out,
<v Speaker 1>but all right. We then got Solo Socoa coming out
<v Speaker 1>demanding that the Buffalo crowd acknowledge him. Roman Reigns comes out,
<v Speaker 1>and then Solo said, before he has the crowd acknowledged him,
<v Speaker 1>he wanted Roman to acknowledge him as the undisputed tribal chief.
<v Speaker 1>Romans spoke up, said the crowd. Asked the crowd if
<v Speaker 1>they acknowledged him, and they booed Solo. Roman said he
<v Speaker 1>won't ever acknowledge him, and there was a way. He
<v Speaker 1>was there to challenge Solo one on one and the
<v Speaker 1>winner is the only tribal chief. Solo said he was
<v Speaker 1>already the only travel chief and in case he hasn't
<v Speaker 1>notice the people acknowledge him, and he said he can't
<v Speaker 1>be a tribal chief without a tribe. And he challenged
<v Speaker 1>him to find four people who would tag with him,
<v Speaker 1>and Roman asked if he was talking about wargames, and
<v Speaker 1>Roman replied that he only saw four, not five, and
<v Speaker 1>Solo then replied the fifth guy was his dog, Sammy's ain.
<v Speaker 1>The bloodline then pounced on Roman Reigns and Sammy comes
<v Speaker 1>out on stage. Jimmy and Jay ran past him. They
<v Speaker 1>were quickly there to dispatch, or they were colickly dispatched
<v Speaker 1>by Jacob Fatu. Solo called for Sammy to get in
<v Speaker 1>the ring and demanded that he kicked Roman in the face.
<v Speaker 1>Sammy backed up into the corner and delivered a kick
<v Speaker 1>to the face of Solo. Jacob Fatwo come in. Roman
<v Speaker 1>got back up, hit a Superman punch, and then Roman
<v Speaker 1>hit a spear on Solo as Jacoba two also got
<v Speaker 1>a halluva kick. And Jacoba two right now, I mean, boy,
<v Speaker 1>does he have a presence. They've done a hell of
<v Speaker 1>a job with him the wolverine here. Great job. He
<v Speaker 1>doesn't say a lot, but right now he doesn't really
<v Speaker 1>need to. He's all right for now. He's in a
<v Speaker 1>very solid position. And I love how they protected him
<v Speaker 1>here where he got a Superman punch and then a
<v Speaker 1>halluva kick and it still kept him on his feet. Yes,
<v Speaker 1>he got knocked to the outside, but I love that stuff.
<v Speaker 1>You know, he didn't get completely laid out. I would
<v Speaker 1>argue that they're protecting Jacob fa two more than they
<v Speaker 1>are Solo Soca, the leader of that faction. That is
<v Speaker 1>a that's something that we should take note of. Yes,
<v Speaker 1>they're trying to build new stars, but they've been protecting
<v Speaker 1>Jacob FA two since he came in. This isn't just
<v Speaker 1>a one time thing. I mean, has Jacobatu lost a match,
<v Speaker 1>He's he been pinned. He might have, he might have
<v Speaker 1>been involved in the side of a losing team, but
<v Speaker 1>he has himself not lost. So and he's been protected
<v Speaker 1>and taking two finishes and still standing. That's protecting, that's
<v Speaker 1>protecting the talent. So they got some big plans, some
<v Speaker 1>big ideas for Jacob Fantu and I can't disagree, all right,
<v Speaker 1>So this is where the reuniting happens. And this is
<v Speaker 1>where Sammy looked at Roman in the eyes, and Jimmy
<v Speaker 1>and Jay got in the ring. Jay holds up his finger,
<v Speaker 1>Jimmy holds up his finger. Roman then did and the
<v Speaker 1>crowd cheered, and that's when Sammy did as well, And
<v Speaker 1>so everybody holds up their fingers the ones. They're the ones.
<v Speaker 1>I guess we're all the twos now we're back to
<v Speaker 1>being the twos. Whoe everyone enjoyed being the ones because
<v Speaker 1>we're back to being the twos and they're now completely
<v Speaker 1>reunited except for the wise man. I really miss. Paul
<v Speaker 1>Hammon will be the guy to really, I think, put
<v Speaker 1>the glue. He's the glue here. He's the guy that
<v Speaker 1>manipulates and does it in a charming way and is
<v Speaker 1>one of the most beloved managers of all time, advocates
<v Speaker 1>or wise man, whatever you would call whatever lady we
<v Speaker 1>want to give him. He's a manager. He's a manager
<v Speaker 1>and just repackaged as whatever you want to call a
<v Speaker 1>wise man. But Paul Hammond's return is going to be
<v Speaker 1>highly anticipated and having him get on the mic and
<v Speaker 1>them doing all the things they do next week will
<v Speaker 1>be fun. And it'd also be interesting to see if
<v Speaker 1>they also they make their way to Raw. You know,
<v Speaker 1>with Sammy and Jay on Raw, you wonder if this
<v Speaker 1>whole group will follow suit. And once again we all
<v Speaker 1>supposed to forget about the the draft rules. At this point,
<v Speaker 1>you're tired of me saying it, But I'm just holding
<v Speaker 1>WWE to their own rules. It's all I'm doing. No
<v Speaker 1>special rules, no special privileges, just the rules that they
<v Speaker 1>made themselves, and they continue to violate them with no explanation.
<v Speaker 1>Whatever is what most people say. I say, give me
<v Speaker 1>an explanation, even if it's a late, lazy, lousy one.
<v Speaker 1>But I don't know if the full Bloodline will make
<v Speaker 1>their way to RAW. I would presume not Jimmy might,
<v Speaker 1>Roman won't. But the full full reuniting of the bloodline
<v Speaker 1>I think happens next week or at Survivors Series with
<v Speaker 1>Paul Hayman as the wise Man. We do definitely need
<v Speaker 1>him in that group to make it feel totally complete.
<v Speaker 1>So definitely looking forward to that. Well, what happened on RAW.
<v Speaker 1>We'll give you some highlights here because this is the
<v Speaker 1>week in Review, not just the SmackDown week in Review.
<v Speaker 1>So we had as far as matches go, we had
<v Speaker 1>a Battle Royal for a shot at the women's world title. Again,
<v Speaker 1>don't forget re Ripley's injured, but the match ended in
<v Speaker 1>twelve minutes and forty seconds with EO Sky winning. Really
<v Speaker 1>enjoy that, you know, EO Sky versus Live Morgan will
<v Speaker 1>be fun. It will be a fun match. Eo Sky
<v Speaker 1>back to being a babyface, given the fact that Live
<v Speaker 1>is much more of a heal than EO is at
<v Speaker 1>this point, and every time Eo gets in the ring
<v Speaker 1>she makes magic. I mean, yeah, she doesn't have a
<v Speaker 1>whole lot of mic time, likely because she doesn't speak
<v Speaker 1>English very fluently, which you know does It does lend
<v Speaker 1>itself to some challenges when you have a primarily English
<v Speaker 1>speaking audience you have a wrestler that can speak broken English.
<v Speaker 1>But that only gets you so far until she gets
<v Speaker 1>in the ring, and then we all understand her language,
<v Speaker 1>which is just brilliant in the ring. I mean EO Sky's.
<v Speaker 1>He's underappreciated in her own time right now. So her
<v Speaker 1>and her and Live Morgan whenever that match happens, should
<v Speaker 1>be a lot of fun, all right. New Day continues
<v Speaker 1>to get close to their split. They took on the
<v Speaker 1>war Raiders of Eric and Ivar. It lasted nine minutes,
<v Speaker 1>as you'd expect as the split with the New Day continues.
<v Speaker 1>War Raiders beat Kofee and Exavier. We have against Sammy backstage,
<v Speaker 1>he's trying to make his case. Sarge jay Us was
<v Speaker 1>trying to make his case to Sammy, and yeah, that
<v Speaker 1>was obviously prior to SmackDown, so there's no need to
<v Speaker 1>really rehash that. A lot of a lot of that
<v Speaker 1>woman through the show, about Sammy not being real family,
<v Speaker 1>and on and on and on. But all right, Dragonly
<v Speaker 1>with Chad took on Chad Gable. This match was was
<v Speaker 1>this deemed to no contest? Was that one of these matches? No? No, no, sorry,
<v Speaker 1>it wasn't this match. Dragonly beats Chad Gable in twelve minutes.
<v Speaker 1>So again not a ton of selling in this match,
<v Speaker 1>but one that if you're looking for flip flops and flies,
<v Speaker 1>you got it, you got here. He got this in
<v Speaker 1>a big way and Dragonly beats Chad Gable. We had
<v Speaker 1>then seth Rollins Damian priest Seamus Dominic Mysterio in a
<v Speaker 1>fatal four way for a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship.
<v Speaker 1>Didn't say when, didn't say when. And yes, Goldberg is
<v Speaker 1>looming out there for Gunther. Unfortunately that's kind of confirmed.
<v Speaker 1>It's not just innuendo at this point. Goldberg said it
<v Speaker 1>verbatim on a college sports show. So sadly, Gunther may
<v Speaker 1>have to suffer through a match with Goldberg, and the
<v Speaker 1>sooner that gets over the better. Maybe they can just
<v Speaker 1>do it at a house show and then give us
<v Speaker 1>the Just give us the play by play and we'll
<v Speaker 1>be good. Even the play by play won't take long
<v Speaker 1>in a Goldberg match you know, maybe that that actually
<v Speaker 1>may be quicker than watching the match, because you don't
<v Speaker 1>have to watch through all the pauses and the setups
<v Speaker 1>and all the pomped circumstances. Just give us the play
<v Speaker 1>by play. That actually would be a lot quicker with
<v Speaker 1>the Goldberg match. Alright, so Priest wins this, and Priest
<v Speaker 1>won it in seventeen and a half minutes, and his
<v Speaker 1>match with Gunther might be at the December event if
<v Speaker 1>there is one, or it could happen on a raw.
<v Speaker 1>They're definitely not shy about giving away title matches of
<v Speaker 1>any kind on free TV, which is something it's unfortunate.
<v Speaker 1>That's something that I think it's a sign of the times, yes,
<v Speaker 1>but also it takes the specialty and the feeling out
<v Speaker 1>of title matches at all, because you see them all
<v Speaker 1>the time everywhere. They're not just relegated to the ples.
<v Speaker 1>I remember a time when championship matches actually felt important
<v Speaker 1>when they happened outside of a ple. You're just like,
<v Speaker 1>oh my god, what we're getting a World Time of match.
<v Speaker 1>We're getting a WWE championship match right now. He wants
<v Speaker 1>some examples. I have a couple remember why two j
<v Speaker 1>and Triple H in two thousand with Earl Hebner. When
<v Speaker 1>Triple H was forced to putting his title on the
<v Speaker 1>line against Jericho Y two J, Jericho wins it because
<v Speaker 1>of a fast count from Earl Hebner. The crowd went
<v Speaker 1>insane and there was a riff between Earl Hebner and
<v Speaker 1>Triple H. It eventually got reversed and Triple H retained
<v Speaker 1>and they struck that from the record and all the
<v Speaker 1>rest of it. But that's how crazy it was. Austin
<v Speaker 1>beating Kine after the First Blood match from King of
<v Speaker 1>the Ring in nineteen ninety eight. I remember that Austin
<v Speaker 1>won the championship back act from Cain, who held it
<v Speaker 1>for a day in the Attitude era, which is just
<v Speaker 1>still mind boggling. So back in the day again. I
<v Speaker 1>know I always refer to the Attitude era. I'm the
<v Speaker 1>old guy now, but I remember a time literally where
<v Speaker 1>it felt so special to have a championship match, and
<v Speaker 1>today fans just expect it. But that's not the fans' fault.
<v Speaker 1>W W has conditioned them to expect championship matches. They
<v Speaker 1>have told them, hey, you're gonna get a tag team match.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, we get a tack team title match every
<v Speaker 1>single week. I mean literally, uh, you know, you're you're
<v Speaker 1>gonna get world title matches. You're gonna get undisputed to
<v Speaker 1>although cal Cody hasn't, so I'll give I'll give w that.
<v Speaker 1>That's the one championship they have been a little bit
<v Speaker 1>hesitant about putting on the line, although didn't didn't Kevin
<v Speaker 1>Owens and uh Roman Reigns have a cage match on
<v Speaker 1>New Year's Eve or something for SmackDown last year or
<v Speaker 1>the year before, so they're not totally strangers to that.
<v Speaker 1>But my general point still stands. I just wish they'd
<v Speaker 1>go back to making title matches feel special. You know
<v Speaker 1>how you do it? Fewer of them, That's all that's
<v Speaker 1>literally it. All you have to do is less of them.
<v Speaker 1>You don't have to add anything. It's just taking away something.
<v Speaker 1>Do I think they'll do it, No, I don't. But
<v Speaker 1>my feeling is Priest is probably going to get that
<v Speaker 1>match on raw. With all that said, Priest and Gunther
<v Speaker 1>for the world title is probably going to be on
<v Speaker 1>a raw, And it'll also be likely when Goldberg is
<v Speaker 1>about to or you know, Goldberg hopefully is passed at
<v Speaker 1>that point and Gunther retains and they can put all
<v Speaker 1>the obstacles they want in front of Gunther. I still
<v Speaker 1>believe he'll make it at least through WrestleMania as champion,
<v Speaker 1>or to WrestleMania as champion. This guy just has too
<v Speaker 1>much value otherwise. So that I think is it for
